12. 2:55project the tery project if you don't know about that so so a a fun thing happen so one of the things I talk about
13. 3:04here at the AI learning lab is you should play just play just play play play and all these new tools come out
14. 3:11and it can feel overwhelming I made a video today about how over over overwhelming all this crap is cuz A lot's coming out and it's a lot
15. 3:21of it's good but it's just like to really understand the tools you have to use them and there's too many to use there's
16. 3:29too many to like you know if you did this full-time 24 hours a day you couldn't keep up with it so but three nights ago the new
17. 3:40version of Pi came out inflection 2.5 and I just wanted to test it so I asked it to have Alexander Hamilton
18. 3:52reimagine government in America using the concepts of quantum mechanics and it did that brilliantly it was really good
19. 4:00I was like oh [ __ ] you can take you know very obscure topics and and I mean you know large language models could do that
20. 4:06but like shitty ones would do that stuff bad and this did it really good um and then I I just threw it a curveball and
21. 4:15said how would you if you were going to expand the Tarot deck by 12 cards you know what what would you do
22. 4:25and why like what would you expand it to and why and it and it just came up with this brilliant [ __ ] thing which was
23. 4:33which was it would basically add a new suit to the Tarot deck called orbs um and it would uh it would be a new minor
24. 4:44Arcana and uh and it would be based on the Zodiac the 12 signs of the zodiac and I was like a that's [ __ ] genius
25. 4:53it was so good and then and then someone in the in the in the AI lab uh I was I was trying to come up with name and I
26. 5:00couldn't quite crack it and then they came up with the name tery t a r o l o g y which is brilliant really good um and so Friday
27. 5:12night I copied and pasted the best bits out of the the pie conversation cuz it was incomplete and a little janky and that took it took about
28. 5:24an hour it took 45 minutes or an hour to just copy and paste stuff out I just pasted into into a notes document and
29. 5:32then we took that and pasted that into Claude and and the reason we pasted it into Claud is there's a new version of Claude
30. 5:40too and the new version of Claude has a 200,000 token context window and if what that means if you haven't played with this stuff is it
31. 5:49[Music] um it's like 150,000 words in its memory so we could take this pretty long document that we had and put it in there
32. 5:59and just start start improving it and asking it to give us new tarot layouts and descriptions for the cards and it just
33. 6:07did all this stuff brilliant brilliant brilliant so anyway so that's that's what I figure we'll work we'll continue working [Music] on
34. 6:19um and we're going to turn that into a GPT so if you've never made a GPT or if you don't know what a GPT
35. 6:26is you're like well that's chat GPT is isn't that a GPT well no there's there's GPT 4 which is the model there's chat
36. 6:34GPT which is the application that sits on top of it then gpts are like customized little applications built on
37. 6:41top of chat GPT yay we are alive yeah didn't you make a website all I did was register the [Music] website and the only reason I registered
38. 6:53the website was just in case I want to do something with this so one of the things you need to know about [Music]
39. 7:06addd is that there's lots of [Music] ideas and it used to be that about one in 50 ideas would make it out of your
40. 7:18head and and now now with AI it's like one in 10 ideas makes it out of your head and with ADD sometimes you're like
41. 7:29oh I'm going to do this I'm going to start something and then sometimes it survives sometimes it doesn't so this
42. 7:33might be one of those but we'll play with it tonight see how far we get at a minimum by the end of tonight you should
43. 7:41be able to play with a GPT called tery by by Kyle Shannon that is this new expanded tarot astrology deck um and it's going to have custom
44. 7:56layouts and and things like that um so that should be fun um fair warning it's probably going to be a little um

62. 12:05type something that that you said how we talk and how we write are nowhere in the same neighborhood um so
63. 12:15Pi is really really good when you put it in conversation mode Pi is I find pi essentially useless when you put it in
64. 12:26chat GPT typing mode chat GPT is brilliant at that chat GPT is also pretty good at the talking stuff but
65. 12:32Pi's better but Pi just got a new brain and and Pi's really uh intelligent now so fascinating stuff okay um Robert

72. 13:40they they caught a bunch of crap for cuz cuz it lied it it embellished how how well it worked um when they launched Ultra it kind of
73. 13:51sucks a week after they launched Ultra they launched gemini or they didn't launch they put into very Ive testing Gemini Pro

91. 17:10use you can you can use that so a way you could do it is make yourself a personal Google account and then just use
92. 17:20that um but you have to pay for it and is it worth paying for I don't think it's worth paying for just yet the Gemini Pro

106. 19:55then another 20 to 30 minutes to Fort Colin So within a a relatively short thing there's a bunch of bunch of cities
107. 20:03sitting right at the base of the Rocky Mountain so that's that's what they call the Front Range and yeah it's beautiful

116. 21:40have any idea and execute it without without having to put in 10 years to learn a skill it's it's staggering to me

148. 29:11the current AI like the current GPT 4 is just like a very simple-minded idiot savant it's like it's like memorized
149. 29:27everything but you know it it needs a lot of guidance and it it needs a lot of babysitting um so like in the meantime
150. 29:37we can use that tool to do really amazing things so I don't know I so I don't I don't really give two shits
151. 29:44about the what the what the aliens said in in Project Blue Book until you know the government says okay here's the
152. 29:53anti-gravity craft flying around here's unlimited energy and meet your alien friends at that point if the aliens are

157. 30:51um account people and probably project managers to a degree but even the project Management's going to be handled
158. 31:01um I think agencies will get pretty small I you know big big companies are still gonna here's I I don't know I don't
159. 31:16know I wish I had a good answer for that one but I I just I go back to I I think most agencies are going to strongly resist
160. 31:30what they need to do in the face of AI which is drop the time and materials model and go to Value pricing and they've never done that so I
161. 31:41don't think they're going to be good at it the aliens told me not to talk about them it's cuckoo I tell you it's
162. 31:56cuckoo that's what's got me thinking I'm going to trade I'm going to trade school for pipe fitting seriously

166. 32:38so I don't know for for big service companies like that big consultancies big agencies big law firms there's there's just a bunch of stuff
167. 32:51where a lot of those services are going to get automated and it it might not seem close now now because the tools are so bad
168. 33:03but similar to the image tools like the image tools were just bad bad bad weird janky hands kind of sucked still sucked
169. 33:12oh [ __ ] now they're good right it was just kind of like one month they were shitty and one month they were good and
170. 33:20then the next thing people said is well th those are good but can I add words to them and like it didn't do words it
171. 33:25didn't do words it didn't do words and then it just did right then IDE came out then DOI came out Dolly 3 came out and
172. 33:33it was good at words and now the new version of ideogram came out and they're even better at words and that's just
173. 33:38going to get better so I think all of the tools are going to be not good not good not good and then they're just
174. 33:43going to be that good and once they're that good I don't know what happens to those companies I think that
175. 33:50shortterm being AI literate like like cuno who's in here Source Camp a bunch of the people that hang out in here A bunch of the Irregulars
176. 33:59just be AI literate when people are desperate to figure this [ __ ] out and those individuals are going to be fine then I
177. 34:13think here's the way I think about it um there's a really interesting
178. 34:32shift that's about to happen and the shift is going to be who do I keep moving forward and the answer isn't going to
179. 34:49be necessarily the people that had the most value before the answer is likely going to be you're going to keep the people who have
180. 35:00an aptitude for AI have an aptitude for horizontal thinking lateral thinking meaning not just do a single vertical but but can think more
181. 35:12strategically or more like a creative director or more like a strategist and so I think there's an opportunity for people to help companies
182. 35:26figure out what are the aptitudes that you want to look for in employees moving forward and I'll share there there was
183. 35:39about six or eight months ago there was a pretty famous redit post about this 3D artist worked in a 10-person company he
184. 35:48was the senior 3D artist and the letter that he posted to Reddit was basically his lament about why he was quitting his
185. 35:57job and and quitting the industry and what it was was in his 10p person company there were two 3D artists like I think they did gaming
186. 36:08or something like that there were two 3D artists there was him he was the good one and then there was the junior guy
187. 36:17who kind of sucked who was fine but like not great and then generative AI came out and the boss the CEO was like why don't
188. 36:27you try that AI stuff and they tried that AI stuff and the generative AI could do in an hour what took him two weeks to model and
189. 36:40render but he loved 3D modeling and he said now I'm just a prompter and I don't enjoy it and this kid that was not as good as
190. 36:54me loves it is better at it and basically the CEO loves the junior kid more than him because he's cranking out the
191. 37:09work and I think you're going to see a lot of that where there's going to be some people that can just get their head around this AI
192. 37:18shift and other people that either just refuse to do it or just can't get out of what they've been doing for a long time
193. 37:39Oppenheimer an Oppenheimer win what's it for
194. 37:54score ludig gorens um I think anyone that can can help figure out who's got those skills in
195. 38:09organization is going to be really valuable yep I have no need for someone with the best executive presence on my
196. 38:16AI Island yeah exactly and and and also you know there's also no need that's actually a great way to put it
197. 38:25cuno that like who do you one on your AI Island that's it because I look at I I got in the when I did that speaking gig
198. 38:34about a month or so ago and I got in the fight with the guy that organized it where I said a 10 person a 10 person
199. 38:41company a 10 person agency is going to kick the [ __ ] out of a bigger agency he thought I said a 10 person company was
200. 38:48going to take down a holding company I didn't say that that's what he heard um but a 10 person company is going to
201. 38:56take down 100 person agency or a 200 person agency or a 300 person agency how are they going to do that well they're
202. 39:02going to have the right people on their AI Island right so if you have 10 people that have not even diverse skills diverse
203. 39:13experiences and diverse way of thinking where you've got one or two people that are project managing types you have one
204. 39:20or two that are kind of sales types you have one or two that are strategy account types you have one or two that are creative
205. 39:33types and all of them are deeply AI literate and all of them are problem solvers that company is going to be able
206. 39:43to shape shift and do anything solve any problem and so I I think that idea of who who who would you invite to your AI
207. 39:54Island I think that's a brilliant way to do it and that's how I think companies should think about it too and in fact
208. 40:01big companies what big companies should do is this if you're in a big company and you're one of the if if you're uh Ethan mullik called them
209. 40:12secret cyborg so if you're a secret cyborg where you're you're Oh Billy Alish onean wait and I want to thank my team and my

215. 41:42well but they don't let us play with it doesn't matter talk about it out loud just say hey I have uh like I use my
216. 41:49personal computer at home and I only do AI on the evenings and weekends but here's what I did here's a cool thing I
217. 41:55did and just talk about projects you're doing outside of work work um just start talking about it start talking about it start talking about
218. 42:01it I think it would behoove any in any company of about a 100 people or more to create an AI Island initially pull pull two
219. 42:19to 20 people aside depending on your scale if you're a really big company you could probably do a 20 person AI Island
220. 42:29if you're a 10 person company if you know if you're a smaller company you know in the thousands maybe it's 10
221. 42:33people if you're like a 100 person company it's probably two or three people and completely fund them turn them
222. 42:44loose give them all the tools they need and give them a mandate this is this is the God's honest what what any
223. 42:59smart Executive Suite right now in my humble opinion this is me being humble they should Identify some group
224. 43:14of people that are really into this [ __ ] and task them with figuring out how to put the company out of business
225. 43:28you understand how we do our business model you understand our product you understand all this go figure out how to make us more
226. 43:37efficient figure out new products figure out new pricing models just use ai go all in and try to reinvent our company
227. 43:48with your little Skunk Works your little AI Island what TV provider do you use what I don't know bunch of them mostly
228. 43:59mostly uh streaming streaming [ __ ] what does that matter like I might be like my timing might be off just because of
229. 44:09streaming um cam katkin some folks are having trouble watching the
230. 44:26Oscars oh
231. 44:41yeah laughs in health care oh well yeah I know in health care in in healthcare you yeah healthc care you can't really
232. 44:56you can't really have someone reinvent it right now yeah Healthcare is a different Beast uh snow sharer I love playing with AI

234. 45:28uh uh are you reviewing the upcoming EU rules for AI for business um I looked at them when they first passed that um I haven't I haven't
235. 45:42been paying super close attention to it some of the stuff was good like you know what what was it don't one of the EU rules was you're not
236. 45:53allowed to analyze people emotions with AI at work like that's pretty good let's let's keep that one it's like [ __ ]

240. 46:38though it I I would still you know if you've got you know conversations with higher ups there or a path to those conversations you know I
241. 46:50would suggest if I mean if you have a if you have the taste for it put together an AI board you know an AI you know
242. 46:57committee or an AI SWAT team um and propose that and say let us let us just go you know let us take 10 hours a week
243. 47:0420 hours a week and go do that that might be if you're in healthc care that might not be realistic but um but I think companies are going to
244. 47:13need to figure that [ __ ] out healthc Care's healthc care is a different Beast it's just they've got they've got other
