32. 5:58ago they made they made conversational chat available to GPT 3.5 today so that's pretty cool um I don't see any obvious
33. 6:12restrictions so I don't quite know what you're talking about I don't oh limit 40 messages for three hours that's not new that's that's down
34. 6:26from 50 messages for 3 hours so no they're just trying to they're just trying to not have their servers be
35. 6:35overwhelmed while they single-handedly implode their company I'd love to help with the education Guild too oh awesome cam okay

58. 10:44um open AI has been kind of melting down for a couple of days and it was down I've never seen chat gbt down like down
59. 10:53and out down it was down for like 3 hours something like that um so someone's wanting to join uh someone else will deal with that
60. 11:03okay it's good to it's good to understand what your options are so I'm going to walk you through a bunch of
61. 11:08stuff of of some of the options to chat GPT this that's what shelves in the office are for ego let's see how much of
62. 11:17my stuff up here is ego there's two of them there's photographs that I took photograph books that I made yeah it's
63. 11:23all ego you're right Pate it's all ego except the booze what else now there's some memories there's some memories some booze and the rest is
64. 11:37ego so I'm going I'm going 65% ego 15% booze and the rest are memories 20% memories thoughts on co-pilot uh I think well huh thoughts on
65. 11:55co-pilot so co-pilot today so that's another thing so let me let me show you the news so so Claude 2.1 came out they
66. 12:03announced a 200,000 token context window uh upping chat gpt's announcement of whatever that was 125 so so they're kind of one uping chat
67. 12:18GPT um they've also done a 2X decrease in hallucinations so so Claude Claude was already good and already a good
68. 12:25competitor to chat GPT for the text stuff um it's it's now catching up um stable diffusion St stability AI
69. 12:35launched stable video diffusion today so stable diffusions version of text to video the booze helps keep the ego
70. 12:44afloat that's good that's solid I like it and then Microsoft announced co-pilot studio today so co-pilot studio is Microsoft's answer to
71. 12:55gpts so in co-pilot Studio you can create co-pilots which are their branded version of gpts um are they going to be completely
72. 13:08compatible with chat with gpts I don't know I like everything's up in the air right now because of all the open AI
73. 13:15[ __ ] going on um but what do I think of them I think that how Microsoft is um integrating this co-pilot brand ending is very
74. 13:30impressive I think the interface of how they do what they do is impressive I think their safety guard rails are
75. 13:37horseshit they're really bad their safety guard rails make it for me A lot of times unusable so depending on how
76. 13:46you work and what you like to do um it's probably great it's based on gp4 it's never going to go away Microsoft is fully committed to this
77. 13:56infrastructure um well it's not never going to go away it's it's got a very low like likelihood of going away um I I
78. 14:06my my my instinct is they're going to figure their [ __ ] out at open AI they're going to fix the the board and the
79. 14:13governance issues there's going to be some new I don't know whatever weird restriction and it will it will just
80. 14:21carry on that's my instinct my instinct is it's going to be fine if not Microsoft will hire Sam Alman all of
81. 14:28opena will quit the company will effectively have to fold and Microsoft will probably buy it for pennies on the
82. 14:34dollar right and hire everyone for you know zero dollar in recruiting fees other than you know 150% of what you're
83. 14:42making an open AI so so um so I think co-pilot's really interesting the other thing that that I think is I'm sure
84. 14:51they'll do a co-pilot store BT uh compa comp comp wait oh BT PC no BT comp casso I don't know how to say your name um
85. 15:06they changed the branding um from chat. bing.com to co-pilot microsoft.com I see that as significant because it means they're separating
86. 15:18co-pilot from Bing they're letting Bing be the search engine and they're separating co-pilot out and they're
87. 15:24saying this is a distinct and unique product from Bing I think that's significant okay so what else we're going to do is
88. 15:33we're going to go look at yeah we're going to go look at that okay so I'll I'll I'll go show the mighty networks in a second here but the
89. 15:45AI Salon is um we had our we had a our bi-weekly meeting tonight um two weeks from tonight is our one-year anniversary
90. 15:54so the AI Salon is a is a wait perplexity no good failed me on easy queries I've had a similar experience
91. 16:04with perplexity t-rock but there are people that I know that I trust that have integrity that are smart that love
92. 16:12perplexity so I am clearly missing something but Be not Afraid thank you so much that's very generous of you I
93. 16:17appreciate it um so so I'm with you on perplexity but but to be fair I haven't really used it because the couple of
94. 16:26times I've used it it didn't do what I want does Claude have an image generator no so um the only two that are truly multimodal right now
95. 16:40are open AI uh chat GPT and co-pilot now po po is multimodal po.com in that you can use a bunch of different
96. 16:55models with pose front end and one of of those models you can use is stability Ai and one of them is D um so that's a third
97. 17:07option I think that's it so I'll go look at Po Po's also really interesting because PO is in this hairball hornets nest of the
98. 17:19negotiations at open AI because Adam D'Angelo who's the CEO of quar who owns PO is on the nonprofit Board of open AI that just fired Sam
99. 17:34Alman who launched a competitor to Poots in his gpts and apparently it really pissed off at him so there are conspiracy theories
100. 17:49like for like like up and down the California coast about all the different reasons that Sam Alman got fired and
101. 17:56then I've noticed in the past 4 hours there's definitely a damage campaign where people are trying to knock Sam down and and
102. 18:05um uh encourage people not to trust him it's got it's gotten pretty loud in the past four hours and I don't know what that's about but it's
103. 18:16interesting I don't really care at this point I'm just like just [ __ ] just cut a deal fire him or not like just it
104. 18:22doesn't [ __ ] matter just stabilize whatever the hell we're doing so we can know whether or not to play on cat gvt

111. 19:42Facebook where all of the stuff that you follow in the channels shows up in your feed so it's just like a reverse
112. 19:49chronological thing then there's a discovery tab where you can discover things like here's featured items here's
113. 19:56the top posts here's members near you so you can see people that are near you someone just commented um here's Top
114. 20:06members um spaces all that sort of stuff then you've got an events calendar so like the next Salon organizers meeting
115. 20:15or the ai101 zoom meeting so ai11 is the guild for beginners um and then you can see all the beginners and you can talk
116. 20:22to them and it's it's just super cool now about the salon this is important so when you get there go check out about

133. 22:37use their real name um we've got a media section so we've got all the back um AI salons recordings from the salons over
134. 22:46the past year next year next meeting is our one-year anniversary and then we have a community section where there's a
135. 22:54water cooler where you can chat there's a showand tell section there's tools and resources you can ask for help and then
136. 23:00we've got guilds and the guilds are awesome and the guild there's a beginners Guild an Art Guild writers AI
137. 23:06for business Pate who's in here tonight has the mechanics Guild there's a healthc care Guild there's a video Guild
138. 23:13uh it looks like we've got three people right now that want to spin up an education Guild so um it's a really cool

159. 26:39how to play with them all there are nine to my counting large language models like chat GPT one of them's chat GPT and then
160. 26:49there's eight others and there's probably more than that but these are kind of the biggies so the big four
161. 26:55underneath chat GPT are clawed and Claude just announced Claude 2.1 today grock which is Elon musk's Twitter
162. 27:05powered X powered large language model which is not live yet but it's it seems to be going live in a limited release
163. 27:13there's Bard which is Google's large language model which is improving and then you've got co-pilot co-pilot
164. 27:22microsoft.com um which used to be Bing Bing chat all that sort of stuff it's now got its own um domain co-pilot is
165. 27:32gp4 in terms of the engine underneath it um so it's multimodal it can make images it can see images things like that okay
166. 27:42and then prompt. chat if you're really new to this stuff and you're trying to figure out how to talk to these things
167. 27:46that's a little primer that might help you that Elon announced every $16 a month person will get grock access next
168. 27:53week okay good I paid my 16 bucks a month and I'm like Elon where's my [ __ ] [ __ ] large language model y bastard
169. 28:00um so I'm glad he I'm glad it's coming cuz I'm tired of I we're so spoiled in this world of just you know launch it
170. 28:11launch it launch it uh that if something is announced and it and it's not live a week later it's it's very
171. 28:17disappointing um Bard is a good example of that where the there's a there's a new model coming out for Bard called
172. 28:25Gemini which was supposed to come out um by November and it is it's been delayed until the first quarter so they are uh

199. 33:10make gpts there it's probably worth you learning them because if you figure out a really good bot on one of them it's

211. 35:38you're just dealing with processing words Cloud's really good um and because chat GPT isn't accepting
212. 35:48new gp4 customers right now um Claud is probably the best the best second this is super cool Sherry just made that

228. 38:28almost got permanently banned off Tik Tock because because while I was doing real time webcam to rendered image which
229. 38:38was super [ __ ] cool like it was amazing at some point it rendered um a painting of a lady's upper body
230. 38:47parts for like half a second and I got permanently banned from Tik Tok and then I immediately appealed it and they
231. 38:55immediately approved my appeal so I think I I I have a little PTSD from korea.com cuz I was like oh crap are you
232. 39:05kidding me so apparently they were associated fees with what oh with the AI Salon no um we are we are um what do you
233. 39:17call it we are accepting monthly sponsors like businesses the monthly sponsorship right now is basically just the cost of our
234. 39:27um Mighty Network's subscription which is like 120 bucks a month so maybe we'll charge 150 for for sponsorship um and uh and you can donate
235. 39:40but the to to join the community it's free and we're going to try to keep it free we'll do things like sell merch or
236. 39:45things like that to cover the infrastructure cost great list can you show us the list for document processing
237. 39:53again didn't get that uh I don't really have a document processing one do I um hang on oh oh that's Claude so so
238. 40:08okay so Claude now has a 200,000 token context window so that means you could put a 150,000 Word document you could

242. 40:53models also has large context window so listen I know this is complicated right now so you you don't need to memorize
243. 41:02these or learn all these like why I have them written down is I want you to screenshot these so that you can go back
244. 41:08and play like every one of these is a rabbit hole and and what's important is that we're in such an early stage of
245. 41:17this generative AI that is it is absolutely unclear which of these tools is going to emerge as the leader what
246. 41:25you're also going to find is some tools are going to be some good at some stuff you do some tools are going to be good
247. 41:31at other stuff you do and some are going to be good at both and some are going to be crappy at both it it really depends
248. 41:36on how you work and how you talk and how you think and how you you know man manipulate these tools um so it's it's
249. 41:44worth exploring them all but think of it a lot more like play than work just go play just go play with them see where
250. 41:51the boundaries are someone you know said to me earlier I tried perplexity and it gave me [ __ ] results and I've talked to
251. 41:57other people that are like I only use perplexity cuz it's the best and it never gives me [ __ ] results I'm like

365. 1:01:52this page that's got like learning Bots and writing Bots and utilities and sports Bots and history Bots and travel Bots and game Bots right
366. 1:02:04and so just and these are all things that people have made and you can go create a bot make your own so this is almost identical this is
367. 1:02:15almost an identical interface to chat GPT you put in a picture you give a name of your Bot you choose a model and
368. 1:02:23they've they've given you a bunch Dolly 3 is one so you can make a bot to make images then you put in your prompt then
369. 1:02:32you have it uh generate some like a greeting message and things like that you can also they just added add a
370. 1:02:39knowledge source so you can upload your own documents so that was the big thing that chat GPT had that PO didn't well they just added it to
371. 1:02:48PO and then basically um and then it's also got monetization so visit the creators in the menu to learn more about Creator
372. 1:02:57monetization and unlock exclusive tools and then you basically say create bot and it's live to the world so you
373. 1:03:04should absolutely learn to make these you should learn to make gpts if you have access to chat GPT 4 um and when
374. 1:03:12the co-pilot ones when the co-pilot Studio goes live you should learn to make Microsoft ones as well um yeah
