29:43 paragraphs I'm like yeah that sounds
29:44 decent I'm like okay this chapter is
29:46 good right I'll edit it later but it's
29:48 this is solid and then I go into edit it
29:51 and I start reading it and like within
29:53 the first paragraph there's three points
29:56 the same point is made three times in
29:58 slightly different sentences and I'm
29:59 like oh [ __ ] this isn't even a paragraph
30:02 This is a sentence and then I'll chop
30:04 that up and then like basically I find
30:07 myself editing the entire [ __ ] thing
30:10 like rewriting it it would probably be
30:13 faster to just write it
30:15 but I wouldn't just write that first
30:18 draft that's the big thing for me you
30:20 mind telling me what kind of guitar it

34:04 Colorado State Fair and he won

34:32 submitted before he got that

34:42 this concept of a Space Opera where

38:03 symmetry it's not AI but an artist

38:38 thing imagine if I had
38:41 procreate and sitting underneath it was
38:43 a drawing module an AI module where I
38:46 could draw with my shitty drawing skills
38:49 and it would be AI interpreting and make
38:52 it look like I could actually draw so
38:54 I'm still drawing but it like amplifies
38:56 my talent which in the case of drawing
38:59 is quite limited dramatically
39:04 limited nope that's not going to be
39:07 there it's this attitude of like if you
39:10 say AI art what people hear is oh you
39:13 just push a button and it makes the art
39:15 that's not
39:19 art
39:23 um by that logic procreate should not
39:29 allow you to
39:30 import an image from a digital camera
39:33 because I don't know if you've used
39:35 digital cameras but they um I got mine
39:38 right there it's buried under [ __ ] I
39:41 don't know if you know this about
39:42 digital
39:44 cameras they have a single button that
39:47 when you push it it makes a
39:50 picture I mean it's not exactly [ __ ]
39:54 art so apparently Pro creates going to
39:58 be disabling import from

40:18 is this is like the artists that I know
40:21 that are embracing
40:24 AI are really [ __ ] good artists and

40:28 their their level of what they achieve

40:38 taste so they can take the tools and
40:41 they can think critically where do I use
40:44 Photoshop where do I use my hand drawing
40:46 skills where do I use my 3D rendering
40:48 skills where do I use AI where where do
40:51 I take the knowledge of the 17 [ __ ]
40:54 AI image generation tools and know the
40:57 subtlety of them well enough to
40:59 understand which one I'm going to use to
41:00 get the effect I'm looking for in this
41:02 particular piece of art that's all
41:05 intentional human interaction human

1:27:12 and I'd go stick them in there so we did
1:27:15 so that so chat GPT generated the base
1:27:18 human beings edited and refined
1:27:21 it we then went to sunno we generated a
1:27:24 bunch of songs that one finally stuck I
1:27:27 think we extended it a couple of times
1:27:28 before after something like that if I
1:27:31 recall that
1:27:32 correctly um we then published the song
1:27:37 we then created an image a cover art

1:52:46 maybe you're a frustrated musician and
1:52:48 you were never good at the violin cuz
1:52:49 you had a shitty teacher and your
1:52:51 parents told you you had to play the
1:52:53 violin and you're like I just want to
1:52:54 play the guitar man no you're going to
1:52:56 play the violin and so you're like [ __ ]
1:52:58 it I'm going to play nothing and you
1:53:00 went you got degree in accounting and
1:53:02 now you're an accountant but deep down
1:53:05 deep down you're a [ __ ] rock

1:53:13 place of play allows you to discover the

1:56:54 that very early in a
1:56:57 transformative era if you're at the
1:57:00 beginning of
1:57:01 it small little things that you do have
1:57:04 a
1:57:07 disproportionately larger impact than
1:57:09 what you do in the
1:57:11 moment so if in this channel if what we
1:57:14 can do is get 10 more
1:57:17 people to go from being AI cynical or AI
1:57:21 resigned that it's just awful or it's
1:57:23 evil or I'm never going to try it to try
1:57:26 it and find that joy and change
1:57:30 themselves even a little
1:57:31 bit imagine the impact of that 3 years
1:57:35 down the line 5 years down the line how
1:57:37 many people are each of you going to
1:57:41 impact because you were willing to come
1:57:43 and hang out in here and be in this
1:57:46 conversation and not be afraid when when
1:57:49 you were out and someone said I don't
1:57:51 know about this AI stuff rather than
1:57:52 going oh I don't want to get in that
1:57:54 conversation you're like well can what
1:57:57 are you afraid of you have that empathy
1:57:59 you have bravery you're willing to have
1:58:00 the conversation hey you want to see
1:58:02 something cool oh I didn't know it could
1:58:05 do
1:58:08 that like lives are going to get changed
1:58:10 and then if we do that enough if enough
1:58:12 lives get changed you actually bend the
1:58:16 ark slightly toward the positive which
1:58:19 over time is dramatic
1:58:24 that's what this Channel's about that's
1:58:25 what the AI salon's about that's what
1:58:28 every one of you that hangs out here the
