16. 3:14plugins on co-pilot and they cut a deal with sunno which is the the music composition thing so you can now make songs in
17. 3:24Microsoft co-pilot so that's interesting I wonder I don't know why my voice just went that high I wonder that was pretty funny um let's go
18. 3:37to plugins on chat jpt and see if sunno is over here be interesting if it were s u n o no
19. 3:52interesting so Microsoft cutting deals independent of open AI which I guess that makes sense especially given uh
20. 4:01given the uh Sam Altman drama Microsoft's like yeah we're going to we're going to hedge a lot of our bets
21. 4:06here buddy we're going to go with small language models we're going to go with other partners you just uh you just kick
22. 4:12back and figure out how to run your company over there so that's fascinating so I fig we'll play with that and then uh we can
23. 4:21do whatever so so if you're new here um you can ask anything you want I'll demo stuff I'll wax poetic about my thoughts
24. 4:32on open AI um we started out last night with a I guess a high school student a youngster a youngster came in and asked
25. 4:41what they should do if their teacher accused them of using an AI detection tool and I went off on a rant and then I
26. 4:49don't even think the student stuck around to hear the rant a what you gonna do kids these days huh get off my lawn you little [ __ ]
27. 5:06oh man how is everybody um pop any comments you have in the in the comments below what's that thing something
28. 5:15campaign go live for 51 hours I'll [ __ ] hit that I can hit that in a [ __ ] week 14 days 19 hours I guess I have 15
29. 5:31days Frozen leaders 50 plus I Tik Tok is trying to gamify me viewer what is this oh realtime

34. 6:18a bunch of people and the number will Spike and then it'll kind of level off and then slowly climb back
35. 6:23up um and then it'll it'll grab three Clips where there's the most people and three Clips where there's the most
36. 6:29diamonds so if I'm if I'm saying something that's particularly interesting which I know it's rare uh but if I am and you and you give
37. 6:42diamonds that'll that'll likely get flagged as something to clip so I don't know that's that's something worth
38. 6:47paying attention to but I don't know all their gamification [ __ ] bugs bugs the crap out of me it's like you know this is not a
39. 6:56video game although I guess I I guess in a lot of ways Tik Tok is kind of between a video game and and you know Video

74. 13:21oh no we've got two US patents and seven or eight international patents um so I know the world pretty well but
75. 13:32like if you if you use it to yeah how would anyone know yeah like it's just a is it a liability I I mean it's a
76. 13:39liability if you just have it if you just say to chat GPT write up my patent application and you don't actually
77. 13:48review it you don't actually have a patent attorney to look at it um like use pi to work on Concepts then make
78. 13:55prompts for the Big Image Creator to work work on visuals no the the only the only thing that I would say is is a is is a
79. 14:06potential challenge for using um Bing to do visuals is it's not very precise if you need any kind of precision in there
80. 14:14you're going to want to do that with CAD or some sort of you know drawing program where you can you know do call outs and things
81. 14:21like that so but but if you just want if you just want to use it to visualize things to present a concept then yeah
82. 14:28then design it in Fusion 360 yeah yeah exactly so so just just know that the the AI image Generation stuff is not
83. 14:37precise at all like you know when I ask it for you know a 1969 GTO Judge sometimes it's got three headlights on
84. 14:47one side like last night I did that AI can't create patents UK law ruled this week oh that's interesting um okay so again I go back
85. 14:57to where's the boundary Ted like what like what does that mean if if if I'm using the AI inside Microsoft Word to
86. 15:06spell check my spelling for the patent does that mean I can't apply for a patent because I spec my spell checked
87. 15:12my spelling with AI if I use sentence complete in Microsoft Word that uses AI does that mean I can't apply for a
88. 15:21patent with it I like I I don't I no one that I know that uses chat GPT on a regular basis uses it like give me
89. 15:31a patent application squirt out it comes submit no one they use it as a tool they do they do a little research here they
90. 15:40do a little writing there they do a little outline here they ain't there they massage it it's like a little pizza

155. 25:50perplexity and po here are image generation tools here's video generation tools um here's music um 3D worlds and then people you should
156. 26:00follow including um Ethan mullik who he put out a really good piece today he always does um David Shapiro's been
157. 26:08doing really interesting [ __ ] lately with AGI Paul rater from the marketing a AI Institute he did a he did a piece
158. 26:16today um talking about how the fact that he thinks that AI is actually underhyped and and it's funny down in the corners
159. 26:24if you look in the corners I put a I put a series together about a month ago and the series is called undery underhyped
160. 26:32and it's a series of 17 or 18 videos where I'm talking about why I think AI is important how it compares to the
161. 26:39early days of the worldwide web how to use it how to not get overwhelmed by it things like that so if you're if you're

227. 38:59corner if you click in that upper right hand corner this used to say Bing and now it says co-pilot with Bing chat and
228. 39:07see how teeny the Bing chat is like if I were the Bing um product manager I'd be pissed off right now cuz cuz it looks
229. 39:16like they're flushing Bing down the toilet okay so so co-pilot with Bing chat and so Bing chat still exists so if
230. 39:26you go to regular Microsoft search and you click on chat that is Bing chat like chat GPT oh and they just added something
231. 39:39that's interesting okay so it's here too yeah this Stu this stuff is changing daily so Bing is your AI powered
232. 39:50co-pilot for the web so they're going to let this thing live with inside Bing chat but then they have Microsoft co-pilot which is copilot
233. 40:03microsoft.com looks similar but it doesn't have that blue background and if you switch modes yeah switching modes doesn't
234. 40:12change the color which in co-pilot switching modes does change the color changes the background see how
235. 40:21it's like green and then blue and then pink interesting but the co-pilot branding the co-pilot product manager was like I don't like that
236. 40:31stupid subtle background [ __ ] just let him pick the button we're not changing [ __ ] get R get rid of that so there's some there's some

328. 56:18microsoft.com and then in teeny letters it says powered with Bing so they're Flipping The Branding So Co pilot is
329. 56:25going to become the ubiquitous brand across all of the Microsoft properties so I'm just coming here to play with it
