3:01 the host is gone now the host is back
3:03 the host has returned the the host needs
3:05 a
3:07 haircut the the the host has Caffery
3:13 issues welcome everybody my name's Kyle
3:16 Shannon this is the AI learning lab this
3:19 is not one of those Tik Tock fashion
3:20 channels as evidenced by what's on my
3:22 head whatever animal crawled on my head
3:24 and
3:26 died um so we'll get started here we'll
3:31 if you have questions about generative
3:32 AI pop them in the comments below I'll
3:34 do my best to answer them I'll demo some
3:36 [ __ ] I'll talk about news things like we
3:38 got some some decent news tomorrow is a
3:41 big um well I don't know if it's big
3:44 tomorrow is the open AI developer
3:46 conference and it sounds like they're
3:48 going to be announcing some new stuff
3:51 like uh a bot maker and connections um
3:56 to chat GPT like you can connect Google
3:58 Drive and Office 365 live to chat GPT
4:02 which I think is a pretty big
4:04 deal and uh what
4:06 else
4:08 grock grock is
4:12 coming that's Elon musk's new uh chat
4:15 gbt competitor that's going to be
4:17 connected to Twitter formerly known as X
4:20 formerly known as Twitter formerly known
4:22 as X digital Gods thank you for the
4:25 Roses those gifts are mean a lot I
4:28 appreciate it
4:30 [Laughter]
4:38 okay uh that's nice Silver Fox um okay
4:43 so if you're new here this image this
4:47 this.com let's the official chat GPT
4:51 website even if you um don't think
4:54 you're technical enough and and are like
4:57 this is too fancy for me it's not just
5:00 go there just go there and start talking
5:02 to it well what do I say to it ask it to
5:05 do [ __ ] for you ask it to tell you
5:08 something about history or something
5:10 about your business or something about
5:12 have it write a song have it write code
5:15 just go start playing you can literally
5:18 there's you can't mess it
5:20 up and you just might have some
5:25 fun you will also start to see how
5:28 different from a Google search it is
5:31 you're like but it's just like a Google
5:32 Search right isn't it just like fancy
5:35 Google no it's not like fancy
5:38 Google it's not like fancy Google it is
5:42 like it it's like
5:45 different working with chat GPT is kind
5:48 of like having an idiot savant
5:51 intern that knows everything but needs
5:54 lots of Direction cuz it doesn't know
5:56 anything about you or your projects or
5:59 your company or or anything so you'll
6:01 ask it to do stuff and it just does it
6:03 confidently but wrong and then you kind
6:06 of narrow it down and guide it and and
6:09 then it starts to get pretty remarkable
6:12 so all right oh
6:21 fantastic
6:23 um let's see jrc will you also share
6:27 that or Sherry will you also share that
6:29 link to the YouTube thing in I guess put
6:32 it
6:33 in um AI news and events yeah AI news
6:38 and events that that should be in the AI
6:40 Salon
6:42 okay so so yeah so if you're brand new
6:45 to this AI stuff go there uh and then
6:47 just ask me any questions so tomorrow's
6:50 this big developer conference for open
6:52 AI so what it probably
6:55 means I don't know what it means for the
6:57 for for us end users right now
7:02 um I doubt they're going to
7:05 change the end user experience of chat
7:08 jpt tomorrow what they're probably going
7:09 to do is add a bunch of new things to
7:12 the playground to the development back
7:14 end um but we'll see it's going to be
7:17 curious to see what they
7:19 do um I use AI to help triple my bank
7:22 account yesterday I found an algorithm
7:26 nice you're one of these guys you can
7:28 make money with oh I found an algorithm
7:31 to Triple my bank account
7:34 okay pretty sure that's called fraud but
7:37 you know
7:38 [Laughter]
7:40 hey have have at
7:46 it oh a good undetectable AI
7:51 sight I don't know what you mean t Sans
7:54 undetectable you mean like that won't be
7:56 detected by the Bots I don't know um
8:02 just figure out what bot they're using
8:05 and then you know go test some of them
8:07 and then you can even do things like
8:10 have chat gbt translate it into some
8:12 other language and translate it back
8:14 there's a bunch of there's all sorts of
8:15 hacks I would if you if you want to get
8:17 around those go under Reddit like so
8:19 here's here's my deal I think I think
8:21 those AI detectors are [ __ ] none of
8:24 them work includ Sam Alman said they
8:26 shut theirs down because it didn't work
8:29 um and I understand the purpose of them
8:31 right other than people being in fear
8:33 about AI they leaked the connect to
8:35 Google driver Office 365 that's going to
8:38 be huge yeah I know yeah that one Jeff
8:40 McDonald's going to be really huge um
8:43 they also they also leaked the
8:48 uh they they leaked the fact that you're
8:51 going to be able to make Standalone Bots
8:54 that you can
8:55 publish um I think that's going to be
8:58 huge because
9:00 like non-programmers are going to be
9:02 able to put out some pretty
9:03 sophisticated [ __ ] applications now I
9:06 don't know how anyone makes money on any
9:08 of this stuff back to the you know you
9:10 can make
9:12 money if if we've got a tool that
9:15 democratizes being able to do
9:17 specialized little versions of chat GPT
9:20 that's what a lot of the apps out there
9:21 are right now let's talk about the new
9:22 updates to GPT that are being rolled out
9:25 now Second Chance CEO do you do you mean
9:28 like uh
9:30 vision and uh dolly3 and things like
9:33 that browse with Bing I can show those
9:36 if there if there's new things um that
9:39 are that are coming you mean the things
9:40 that are coming at the developer
9:42 conference tomorrow that's only rumor as
9:44 far as I know they call it a leak but
9:48 until until we actually see them
9:49 announce it let's assume it's just a
9:52 rumor so I'm I'm happy to demo uh chat
9:56 GPT and the the new
9:58 features
10:01 but I don't know what you're talking
10:02 about I don't know what you're asking
10:04 for I just don't know I just don't
10:11 know thanks for the orange Robert Rossy
10:15 it's really nice you're up to level
10:17 19 level
10:21 [Laughter]
10:23 19 all
10:25 right Sherry D I have a note sorry I'm
10:28 late
10:30 I hope you have a doctor's note you
10:32 can't be late for the lab I haven't seen
10:34 I haven't seen Amelio's wife in here
10:36 she's going to come in here am I late
10:39 you know what you know what we need to
10:40 do for her cuz she's not here is she so
10:44 let's go find her little her little
10:47 graphic there that's that's there for
10:50 Amelio's wife when she shows
10:52 [Laughter]
10:57 up buffering oh oh
11:01 crap we love the Spectrum you are
11:03 lagging we're back am I late hey Vanda o
11:07 it's glitching is it for anyone else uh
11:09 Kyle you're freezing still is it still
11:12 freezing or is it okay
11:15 now thank you
11:18 Nancy yeah I got MJ yeah MJ might be the
11:21 way to
11:22 go thank you what's that are those
11:26 little like frozen pops
11:30 those were cute all good all right
11:32 cool there's lunatick what's
11:37 happening Sam is going to be confused
11:40 what when I don't show up at his little
11:43 party
11:45 Sam
11:49 Sam
11:53 uh I won't last long tonight that's okay
11:56 lunatick I'm a little sleepy too it
11:58 sounds like
12:00 sounds like there's some some fatigue in
12:02 the
12:03 air so so we'll get it going and Kyle
12:07 hits the pause
12:10 button all right they have a YouTube
12:13 link you can sign up to be reminded yep
12:15 got
12:17 that uh the time change oh there's a
12:21 time change is that
12:24 tonight no is it who needs Sam we have
12:29 you each other that's it for ever hooked
12:31 we don't need no thinking Sam hey Sam
12:35 Sam you ever been to the AI learning lab
12:38 Sam's like uh no I'm running a 20
12:41 billion doll company I'm good
12:47 thanks but they talk about you all the
12:49 time yeah I'm good
12:51 [Laughter]
12:55 thanks
12:58 oh do
13:00 do the time change happened today at 2:
13:04 a.m.
13:05 oh oh wait so it's fall
13:10 back so it would
13:14 be it would be nine now like I don't
13:18 that math always confuses the [ __ ] out
13:20 of
13:21 me fall back so it's an
13:24 hour wait fall back spring forward fall
13:29 it's doesn't [ __ ] matter whatever
13:30 time it is now it's 8 I don't know when
13:33 it's
13:38 [Music]
13:42 8:20 the guy that tripled his bank
13:44 account with the algorithms like I'm not
13:46 sharing though all right so listen then
13:48 you can't be part of our dumb little
13:50 club called the AI Salon cuz one of our
13:53 values is
13:55 generosity see that so if you're going
13:58 to come in here and be stingy about your
13:59 bank account tripling algorithms well
14:02 poop on your head that's not one of our
14:06 values your body thinks it's an hour
14:08 later that's probably why I feel like I
14:11 feel like it's late that's that's
14:14 probably what it is cuno thank you Kyle
14:17 are you selling your gold buttons that's
14:19 merch you can make money with time uh
14:22 I've talked about it I
14:25 haven't I don't really have an end game
14:27 for this channel which is there's
14:29 there's an issue with that I do have an
14:30 endgame for the AI well I don't know if
14:32 I have an endgame this this channel is
14:35 kind of a reflection of a community I
14:37 started called the AI Salon we've got a
14:39 Discord we're going to be moving to
14:41 Mighty networks you know I'm really
14:43 passionate about that community and
14:44 growing it this is a part of that um and
14:48 that's where one of our values is
14:51 generosity um and I don't mean money
14:53 generosity I mean like don't be stingy
14:56 and don't be stingy like I'm not giving
14:58 you my
15:00 algorithms that's just
15:02 stupid um I mean sure it's business but
15:06 but you know the we're we're too early
15:08 in this industry right now for people to
15:10 be stingy about what they're discovering
15:13 um so yeah so at some point I might do
15:18 merch we I tried to do [ __ ]
15:21 t-shirts and I tried to do a Tik Tok
15:23 shop that was connected to printful and
15:26 there's a printful you or Tik Tok
15:28 connect
15:29 application right and then Tik Tok let
15:32 me launch a store have people order from
15:35 it and then refus to send their
15:39 addresses to
15:41 printful and then refus to give their
15:43 addresses to me because they said it was
15:45 sensitive information I'm like but they
15:48 bought a t-shirt like they money went
15:50 into your account Tik
15:53 Tock and and they're like but we don't
15:56 support printful I'm like there's an app
15:59 in your store they're like but we don't
16:01 support it I'm like okay so that was
16:04 like a month of my life trying to
16:05 detangle that [ __ ] show so so at some
16:10 point I'll probably put together a merch
16:12 store and yes I think gold buttons you
16:15 can make money with I think those will
16:17 probably be on
16:18 [Laughter]
16:20 it oh my God it's it's just every why
16:26 why is this planet why is everything
16:29 just a [ __ ] [ __ ] show nightmare it's
16:32 because everything's been decentralized
16:34 and
16:35 privatized it's like it's like so
16:38 everything is 17 Factor
16:41 authentication oh man alive all right
16:45 let's see I'd buy a gold button nice Be
16:48 not Afraid all right I'll I'll I'll get
16:51 my [ __ ] together I I just need to I just
16:53 need to find a spare four hours to like
16:55 actually just think about it and put it
16:57 together it's not that big a deal to put
16:59 together but all right yeah so I needed
17:02 an extra hour this morning oh I see oh
17:05 that's why like today was just weird all
17:07 day that's what it was it already passed
17:09 last night or early this morning was
17:10 this morning the time change already
17:13 happened Kyle you're a loser for not
17:15 knowing what's going on in on the
17:18 planet well or in the United
17:22 States GPT created new programming
17:25 language based on Old English oh I on
17:28 China you did that last night right so
17:31 ion China went into chat GPT and said I
17:33 want to create a new programming
17:35 language based on Old English you know
17:37 like Shakespeare days or
17:40 older um and so it made a doth and and
17:44 hither come hither come hither
17:47 programming language which is probably
17:49 pretty [ __ ] funny it would be fun to
17:52 actually Implement that and write some
17:53 stuff in it so I found GPT is good for
17:56 formatting Json dumps this that was
17:59 helpful in a pinch good yeah yeah any
18:02 anything where you're
18:03 taking um if if you give it good
18:06 examples of stuff it's [ __ ]
18:07 remarkable at that kind of
18:10 stuff
18:12 um that that's one of the challenges
18:14 with chat gbt right now is there some
18:16 things it's truly remarkable at there's
18:18 other things that you're like wait why
18:20 can it not do that basic thing and it's
18:22 just it's just the nature of where it is
18:23 right now the new GPT features are
18:26 upload any file type and talk to it use
18:29 tools without switching yeah I don't
18:31 have those yet dude Second Chance CEO I
18:35 would love to demo those for you but I
18:37 told you so we've we've we've
18:39 established this Sam is jealous of
18:42 me and he doesn't give me things quickly
18:46 even though I sell his stupid [ __ ]
18:47 software night after night after
18:50 night let me see if I have the new
18:53 ones come on Sam you can do
18:57 it oops we had an issue trying to sign
19:01 you
19:12 in it was probably when I got in a fist
19:15 fight with Andre karpathy that made Sam
19:17 a little little skittery on me you know
19:21 no it's still I still I've still got all
19:23 the tools all separated so I got nothing
19:25 I can't I can't show you that I would
19:27 love to show you that um the last few
19:30 nights we've been doing some cool things
19:31 by going to GPT vision and then changing
19:34 modes into do and going back and
19:36 forth so when it's all in in a single
19:39 thing that would be nice will AI ever
19:42 become unnoticeable pretty pretty
19:45 quickly um I would imagine that there's
19:49 a fair amount of AI being used in a lot
19:53 of things you're looking at these
19:55 days um one of the Mis conceptions of
20:00 AI especially the word
20:03 stuff um is just this idea that AI wrote
20:07 that and that's not how most people use
20:10 it most people don't put in a thing like
20:13 go write me a blog post and it spits it
20:15 out and then they copy and paste that
20:17 into a Blog thing most people that I
20:19 know that are writing with chat GPT are
20:21 using it as a as a partner as like an
20:24 editing and brainstorming partner
20:26 they're like I have an idea for an
20:27 article and you know help me flesh this
20:30 out there it is and it's like oh that
20:32 one's I like I like idea number three um
20:35 what what might be some some arguments
20:37 to back that up oh those are good let me
20:38 take some of those and then they go over
20:40 and they start writing and then they go
20:41 back and forth and back and
20:44 forth
20:46 um
20:47 so so there's probably a fair amount of
20:50 AI in the stuff that you're seeing right
20:52 now um and yeah I think it's going to
20:54 get increasingly undetectable what was
20:56 that thing from Tobias about his fonts
21:03 I was searching through my thousands of
21:05 fonts trying to match then tried GPT
21:08 vision and it nailed it really let's go
21:11 try that are you sure cuz if it did that
21:14 that feels like a big deal to me but
21:17 although I mean you've got Adobe tools
21:18 that already do that but let's go
21:22 font no
21:25 not not that font
21:34 images all right let's just go grab this
21:37 does this say what font it is oh it's
21:40 called buffalo I need to find
21:47 something so I'm just going to type in
21:52 typography oh
21:57 sorry
21:58 [Music]
22:07 okay that's good so let me grab
22:11 this I don't know I'm going to know what
22:13 font this is but let's let's
22:22 see okay so to get to chat GPT Vision
22:26 I'm going to go to default
22:29 and then when I'm in default there's a
22:31 little upload icon right
22:33 here and so I can upload an image and
22:36 then I'm going to go find that I think I
22:37 saved that to my
22:39 desktop
22:41 yep and then I will
22:46 say what font is
22:53 [Music]
22:57 this
23:02 now this had it's it gave me a different
23:05 font per letter which is not true I
23:07 guess I tricked it by giving it one that
23:10 was in
23:15 color I'm going to say
23:18 um it appears they're all the same font
23:20 but they're broken
23:22 up with color so just do your best to
23:27 analyze
23:30 one of the non-disturbed letters like
23:33 the y or the
23:40 a ah I see you're referring to I see
23:44 what you're referring to now the colors
23:45 the font used in the image seems to be a
23:47 Sarah font
23:49 good identifying the exact font from the
23:53 image Times New Roman Georgia or gamand
23:57 or possible contender
23:59 ERS well it it at least got in those are
24:02 those are the those are the popular ones
24:05 uh for for Sarah
24:08 font um did you do anything else to get
24:11 get it to be better at font
24:13 identification Tobias I'm just
24:16 curious
24:18 uh I think they meant Old English Malt
24:21 Liquor um mods
24:26 please printify versus Teespring which
24:29 is better nevertheless Teespring is more
24:31 affordable I I honestly don't know on
24:34 the print print on demand things the the
24:36 only thing that I've used uh is printful
24:40 I'm I'm I'm an adviser on a company
24:42 doing print on demand and we're using
24:44 printful as well so I've got two
24:48 experiences with printful it's overly
24:50 complicated in my opinion and underly
24:53 supported like a lot of these things um
24:56 try a more funky font oh that's a good
25:02 idea let's go funky
25:14 font here we
25:17 go this one's called
25:21 Summer similar fonts bubbly and
25:25 bubble all
25:27 right
25:35 so I'm going to
25:37 upload that new
25:42 font and this is a non-standard
25:45 one
25:46 um how about this font can you identify
25:57 it
26:06 cray marker felt comic Sands yeah so
26:09 this is it looks like it's just now
26:10 going into the the general vicinity of
26:13 it but listen it it at least understands
26:16 that it's an informal font right it's
26:18 playful and
26:19 informal and I got it from some you know
26:22 that doesn't look like a uh a Foundry a
26:25 font Foundry
26:27 font I found that Vision can beat some
26:30 capture interesting it will not be long
26:32 until capture will be obsolete yeah
26:34 capture is going to be obsolete
26:35 passwords are going to be obsolete it's
26:37 we're we're we're entering a real funny
26:39 zone right now where where how we do
26:43 things is about to change it's just like
26:46 it it's almost like our entire world is
26:49 made up with of
26:51 dominoes and some of them are stacked
26:53 together like if you tap one it's going
26:55 to knock down you know a thousand of
26:56 them and then some of them are just
26:58 Standalone dominoes I feel like our
27:00 world is just going to be randomly
27:02 knocking down dominoes and some of them
27:04 are going to have massive Ripple effects
27:06 and other ones are going to be [ __ ] just
27:08 like like caption just stops
27:10 working and like all of the companies
27:13 that rely on capture are gonna have to
27:16 rewrite some
27:19 [ __ ]
27:21 um did you see my photos based on the
27:24 novel all the light we cannot see I have
27:26 not Becky did you email them or or post
27:29 them to Irregulars
27:32 Channel I don't know where you put them
27:34 or did you email them to
27:36 me
27:39 [Music]
27:41 um yes within three choices okay great
27:45 so Tobias all right it's not AI yet it's
27:48 not learning on its
27:50 own it's just decision trees what's just
27:54 decision
27:57 trees
28:01 just stop all the fun you you mean large
28:04 language models are just decision trees
28:06 they're not decision trees they're
28:07 probability
28:08 engines Siri is a decision
28:11 tree you know voice
28:15 voice you know um you know voice trees
28:19 are decision trees but large language
28:21 models are not decision trees they're
28:23 not AI I'll give you that they're
28:24 machine learning but they're not
28:26 decision trees showing
28:31 [Music]
28:42 tell I'm looking now Becky I must have
28:45 missed him it's one of the problems with
28:47 Discord one of the reasons we're moving
28:48 off
28:50 Discord
28:54 [Music]
28:56 is
28:59 if any of you want to know about the AI
29:01 salon and the Discord I'm talking
29:04 about oh these are cool I'm just seeing
29:08 them now Becky I instructed Dolly 3 to
29:11 generate an image of Marie L lablanc
29:16 reading into a microphone surpr
29:18 surprisingly without being prompted a
29:20 photo of a German soldier vering feing
29:24 was also produced wow so there's oh wait
29:27 hang
29:31 on so there's
29:34 her and there's the German boy
29:39 interesting let's see what the next one
29:41 is shh Siri
29:43 stop I spelled Braille wrong then I
29:45 spelled Braille
29:55 correctly oh cool so this this is cool
29:58 so so she wanted her reading Braille and
30:02 so she spelled Braille wrong and she's
30:04 got her hands on normal typography and
30:07 then when she spelled it correctly then
30:08 it made
30:10 Braille that's pretty
30:14 wild wow oh she's got Braille on her
30:19 face she's she's got readable
30:26 acne
30:29 that's hilarious the Braille
30:32 cheeks let me read your
30:35 face oh what do my pimples
30:39 say she can charge 20 bucks an hour to
30:42 read people's pimples oh my God that's
30:45 funny um why not use YouTube for your
30:48 platform just curious YouTube for which
30:52 platform
30:54 for for the salon we need a community
30:57 Community management
30:59 software I put these videos over on
31:01 YouTube I don't know what you're talking
31:03 about though cuz Tik Tok is better oh
31:05 like why don't I go live on YouTube I
31:08 don't know this is where I started at
31:10 some point I might you know do multi
31:13 streaming and and
31:16 have the computer be the primary thing I
31:19 share and that this is secondary but for
31:21 now I I don't know I again I didn't I
31:25 didn't really have an end game in mind
31:27 when I started this I started this
31:29 channel mainly to get the [ __ ] out of my
31:32 head I felt like I was learning so much
31:35 so fast and felt so
31:38 behind that I just wanted a way to
31:40 process it and just remind myself to
31:43 keep exploring and keep exploring and so
31:47 that's so so part of what this channel
31:49 is is me sharing with everyone else like
31:51 you know go get curious go explore and
31:54 like a lot of that is pointing it back
31:55 to me going just remember to keep doing
31:57 doing that remember to keep doing that
31:59 cuz we
32:02 we it is incredibly rare in our
32:06 lifetimes to be at the
32:08 beginning of a technological change
32:12 that's going to shift
32:14 everything is it
32:18 Gro um and so so yeah so that's that
32:23 that's why I'm just like all over this
32:25 stuff is because I just want to I just
32:27 just want to not miss
32:31 anything and and if I frankly if I
32:33 didn't do this I'd probably get
32:35 exhausted aren't you exhausted now yeah
32:39 this is tiring I've been doing this
32:40 every night for months
32:44 um but it still feels important so until
32:47 it doesn't I'll keep doing this till it
32:50 does you know as long as it
32:52 does
32:54 um all right let's see
33:04 Tick Tock is much better yay Tick Tock
33:07 Tik Tock is lovely Tick Tock is lovely
33:11 what do you want champy someone
33:13 outside oh Champion the poor little
33:16 champy oh the poor little champy thank
33:19 you River you reached level 12 I don't I
33:22 don't know what these levels
33:26 mean but super
33:35 cool all the pin comments are going to
33:37 the top of the screen for you
33:40 too
33:42 huh
33:45 weird no yeah Tik tok's just sometimes
33:48 weird Becky or oh that was being not
33:50 afraid I don't know it's just
33:53 weird all right story time I use chat
33:55 GPT to work oh at work to help with data
33:59 quality issues and ask GPT for the best
34:02 algorithm interesting how did it do it
34:05 can take any science or math final exam
34:08 image and do it I love the ethical
34:12 dilemma in this
34:14 yeah we we're we're in for some weird
34:20 [ __ ] I mean grock the new the new Elon
34:24 Musk Chachi BT competitor is going to
34:26 incorporate
34:28 Twitter
34:30 X into its
34:33 answers did you try Prof oh Professor
34:37 synapses yes I have Papa JJ it's it's
34:42 amazing um there's if if you look up on
34:46 YouTube you look up Professor synapse
34:48 and then look for I think it's called
34:50 like the last prompt you prompt you'll
34:52 ever need and it says turning chat GPT
34:55 into Auto GPT and champy needs an app
35:00 champy does need an
35:02 app um and and what it is is it it's
35:06 this really weird complicated prompt
35:08 that turns chapp to into an application
35:11 where it creates agents for you that do
35:14 stuff that you want them to do I haven't
35:16 dug in well enough to actually demo it
35:18 here because it's CU I want to I want to
35:21 really understand it and and make a
35:23 personal like a version of it that's
35:25 mine and that I haven't done yet but I
35:27 do want to show it here um but if you're
35:29 curious about it just go on YouTube
35:32 search for professor synaps and then I
35:35 think just search for Professor synapse
35:37 last prompt and you'll probably get it
35:40 well let me just make sure that I'm not
35:42 running you down a rabbit
35:44 hole
35:47 um Professor synapse last
35:55 prompt yeah the last prompt you'll ever
36:00 need this one right
36:03 here go do that and here's here's a
36:05 power move Professor synapse is generous
36:08 in that he's telling us how he did what
36:10 he did but the the the the lovely human
36:15 being that he is he did not include the
36:17 actual prompt anywhere that I can see
36:20 maybe if you pay for his you know his
36:23 his subscription Channel um so what I
36:25 did was I screenshotted his promp in the
36:27 video and took it into GPT vision and
36:30 had it OCR
36:31 it but it's it's a pretty cool uh it's a
36:35 it's a pretty cool prompt it's listen
36:38 you have to be a bit geeky to to kind of
36:41 get it it's it's a chain of reasoning
36:43 prompt and it's this is this is
36:44 definitely Advanced chat GPT prompting
36:47 but if you want to see the kinds of
36:49 things we're going to be able to do with
36:51 chat
36:52 GPT th this is It's a good video to
36:56 watch
36:57 because if what they're announcing
36:59 tomorrow is you're going to be able to
37:02 um create Standalone Bots that you know
37:06 agents made out of chat GPT and they're
37:09 going to facilitate that you could take
37:12 variations of the prompt that he shows
37:14 there and make your own Standalone you
37:17 know um agents that help people solve
37:20 stuff um so yeah
37:23 anyway I asked chat GPT to write jokes
37:26 about click ippy and it did hilarious
37:29 yeah I have I I did a I did a joke
37:31 writing exercise in here at the
37:34 beginning of the Summer where where I
37:36 took a I created a joke premise which
37:41 was um why avocados go from being rock
37:46 hard to rotten in like a 4-Hour
37:48 period like like you just have to catch
37:51 the window just right and we went to I
37:54 think we went to seven different large
37:55 language models and they were all so bad
37:58 except gp4 was the only one where it was
38:03 it was within the neighborhood of an
38:04 actual joke um so yeah it's not great at
38:08 comedy yet but you could absolutely
38:09 fine-tune one of these things to be good
38:11 at comedy and and a specific kind of
38:14 Comedy absolutely you could absolutely
38:16 do that in fact you you take a comedian
38:19 like Anthony Jessel Nick where he's he's
38:21 always got these things where the setup
38:23 is this this really sort of weird
38:25 convoluted thing you can't see where
38:27 it's going and then he just Twisted on
38:29 its head and and it's always more
38:31 disturb disturbing than where you
38:33 thought it was
38:35 going you could take five of Jessel
38:38 Nick's jokes and and I would think you
38:40 could have this thing right you know a
38:43 whole series of them that that would
38:45 actually be pretty good so anyone that's
38:47 got a really specific voice like that I
38:49 think it would be incredible at at uh
38:51 doing that kind of
38:56 thing
39:01 AI learning lab Pulp
39:04 Fiction
39:06 bam all right the internet smartphones
39:09 mixed reality and AI That's
39:13 [Music]
39:19 for wait the internet smartphones mixed
39:22 reality and
39:24 AI I don't know River I
39:29 I think some of those are
39:38 subcategories because I don't think
39:39 mixed reality is there
39:42 yet like we had
39:46 we yeah I just I just the form factor is
39:49 not there
39:50 yet you could argue smartphones but are
39:54 are smartphones just smaller computers
40:01 maybe I don't know for me for me the
40:03 biggies
40:07 are personal computers in the
40:11 70s the worldwide web in the 90s and
40:15 AI I feel like social media
40:19 smartphones those those are all
40:22 extensions of of other
40:25 Technologies
40:27 I feel like the worldwide web actually
40:29 changed something introduced something
40:32 new I don't know it's it's these are all
40:36 semantic arguments anyway it doesn't
40:38 really
40:40 matter but your Point's well taken I
40:42 mean I I certainly think if you look at
40:45 you know the distance
40:48 between the discovery of
40:51 fire and then writing or you know
40:54 language and then writing
40:57 and then maybe the printing press right
41:00 the distance between writing and the
41:02 printing press was pretty
41:04 far
41:07 um and then you have the steam engine
41:09 and that got a little closer and then
41:11 once you have the steam engine then you
41:12 have just you start to have a bunch of
41:15 these inventions one after the other Sam
41:17 Altman talks about he thinks that
41:20 there's going to be a year in the not
41:21 too distant future
41:24 where we're going to see in a sing
41:26 single year 500 years of scientific
41:32 advancement
41:35 yikes so I think we're going to see more
41:37 and more of these but
41:40 anyway this one this AI stuff for me is
41:44 just having been through the worldwide
41:45 web
41:47 one this one feels so much more profound
41:50 like that was a big deal and it changed
41:53 everything but I feel like it just it
41:58 just made what we already did more
42:00 efficient it didn't really change what
42:03 we
42:04 did right we went from faxing things
42:07 which was faster than messengering
42:08 things like we used to like in New York
42:11 City I was a bike messenger for like two
42:12 months and then this dude the dude that
42:15 so funny I was a bike messenger for like
42:18 two months and it's it's a rough crowd
42:21 that's that are bike Messengers in New
42:23 York and um the guy that owned the joint
42:28 found out that I could do computers and
42:30 he calls me into his office he's like
42:32 Shannon get in
42:34 here he goes he
42:38 goes what's this what's this [ __ ] I hear
42:41 them about them saying you know you know
42:44 computers like yeah I know computers
42:46 he's like what the [ __ ] are you doing
42:48 riding a bike
42:50 around
