11. 1:58so I can see comments from all three platforms I think I can only if I make a comment you can see it on YouTube and
12. 2:06Linkedin but I don't think you can see it on X because Elon Musk shut down the API because he realized that his data was really
13. 2:16valuable son of a [ __ ] all right I just clicked my heels together and I was here beautiful let me see let me go turn that off we can turn

15. 2:43does in theory what it means is they're going to show you whenever I do [ __ ] in reality on Tik Tok that's not how it

18. 3:10stuff there's a lot going on it was funny I created I was like because I have so many tabs open I'm a tab hoarder I
19. 3:20um I said I know I'll just take whatever I want to demo and I'll put it in a separate window and I've got let's see
20. 3:28one two three four 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 11 tabs of stuff that I potentially want to look at so if you have any

33. 5:40developers so the way sharing works I guess this this is at an OSX level at a Mac level um if I share the whole screen I can't share
34. 5:54audio if I share a tab I can share audio but then I can't share the whole screen I can't jump between tabs if your question to me is Kyle

44. 8:04little there's their little buttons okay so there's some new things going on with chat GPT that you should be aware
45. 8:16of um they used to have what were called conversation starters where it was like you know write me a blog post you know
46. 8:24tell me a joke whatever whatever they were now they have these colored buttons and they also have the chat bar in the
47. 8:31center of the screen um if you zoom in on the screen it actually goes back to the responsive design they haven't
48. 8:37updated it so if you zoom in on the screen it actually goes back to the old responsive design where the the chat box
49. 8:44is at the bottom so I kind of like the chat box in the middle that's nice that's directly competing with Google
50. 8:50and apparently uh I saw today that chat GPT was going to um was was supposed to release um search GPT T their their search engine um
51. 9:03sometime last week I think and they chose not to do it so we might get it this this week so it looks like we're
52. 9:09going to get something from chat GPT soon maybe after the election who knows um but each one of these now kind of
53. 9:17represents these are some of the different features that chat GPT has so you can create images right and says
54. 9:26create an image of my pet create an image for my website create an image made of felt okay so we'll just click on that and let's see
55. 9:35can you create an image that looks like it's made of felt I'm going for a crafty textured
56. 9:51look oh very nice I didn't even give it a topic but there you go beautiful lovely and you can go in and edit did
57. 9:58you know you can edit chat GPT they've got in painting so I could say let's get rid of this cloud and say a jet flying in the clouds

60. 10:54great okay so let's give a new uh a new uh uh chat here um some other things to to pay attention to so you have all those little buttons
61. 11:07down there that can show you some of the features you also have all these different models you've got GPT 40 with
62. 11:13canvas preview mini and then you've got 40 mini which is different than 01 mini and you've got gp4 the Legacy model um
63. 11:21gp4 with canvas is pretty slick let me show you that so we'll come in here and we'll go um write me a Linked In article about facraft
64. 11:40felt Craft um for sales enablement [Music]
65. 12:02there we go so [Music] that that is the canvas so this thing over here to the right is the canvas so it we've got the chat on the
66. 12:19left and we've got um we've got the article that it wrote here on the right now every one of these so it says felt
67. 12:27craft and sales enablement what's the connection so I can this is now an editable document so I can say instead
68. 12:34of uh let's let's just say what's the deal question mark and then I can also just highlight that whole thing and it
69. 12:42gives me this little chat window and I can say um make this title um more compelling
70. 12:59and it will go ahead and rewrite that felt craft meet sales enablement unleashing creative empowerment the other thing you can do
71. 13:10with this uh canvas [ __ ] is down here on the lower right there's this little pencil and I can adjust the length of
72. 13:17the piece I can go longer or shorter I can um adjust the reading level from kindergarten to graduate level I can add
73. 13:27final polish which generally will add like subtitles and stuff like that this has already got them and then I can also
74. 13:33add emojis so let's just say I want to add emojis to to each of my um my little sections here I can go inad and say add Emoji let's
75. 13:48see and then there you go how was it yeah so go in add emojis add emojis um
76. 14:03what's also cool about this so underneath my little uh my little window where you see my face here is is where
77. 14:09the the chat box moved to it's at the bottom left of the screen but I can do you can do multiple canvases in a single
78. 14:17chat so this was the felt craft for sales so now I'm going to say um write me another um for
79. 14:33origami and I spelled origami wrong but it's now making a new um article about
80. 14:48origami and so there's that and so you can switch back and forth between them so that's pretty slick so there's the
81. 14:54felt craft one here's the origami one so so canvas is pretty slick lick and then you can just close it and go back to
82. 15:00kind of a normal kind of chat and then you can pop these back out into their canvas modes you can go back in time
83. 15:08they've got some sort of you know version tracking in here pretty slick so that's that um we'll do a new chat
84. 15:17here um 01 preview and 01 mini these are the reasoning engines these are not connected to the internet you can't do
85. 15:25dolly3 image generation you can't upload files to them but they do this really long thinking if you've got complicated
86. 15:33you know things you want to create or problems you want to solve try those they're just a very different tool um
87. 15:41and then here's the new search function in the right here next to New chat is this search thing pops up a little
88. 15:48window and I I know that for the embrace the Jank book that I'm working on I know that the robot style had the word
89. 15:56whimsical in it and I could never find that prompt but if I type in Whimsical let's
90. 16:11see let's see quantum mechanics Whimsical robot watercolor that's it so that's my thing that I this was Pro this probably nine
91. 16:26months old so so I've got error loading the images I wonder can I can I reload them what do I have to do here [Music]
92. 16:39um well anyway I can say um make an image for the last chapter and it will do
93. 16:55that so while that's doing that let me come back over to streamyard and see what's going on see if you have any

103. 18:38scroll up and down in that on the prompt to the left you can also close the canvas window and just go deal with the

126. 22:56um it's coming to me um code interpreter so I can now upload so if I go here and I go. CSV and I can go comma separated let's see
127. 23:12so um Boston house prices okay there's some Boston house prices so I'm going to open up a CSV file and then I'm going to go please
128. 23:26analyze this data and visualize the most interesting Trends you
129. 23:40find and bang and so this now does what chat gbt does where it'll it'll analyze the data it'll generate um what you call
130. 23:54it graphs charts and graphs and [ __ ] like that so so we're actually watching it write code to analyze the data right
131. 24:02so it's doing the same thing chat GPT does I noticed there might be some issues with data parsing let me modify the
132. 24:09analysis to handle the data more carefully I find that this craps out a bit let's see I see there are some
133. 24:21issues with the data parsing so now it's going to do it in react it's going to do it in the in the artifacts window so if you haven't seen
134. 24:28Claude do artifacts before it's now writing code over here and it'll it'll actually um display whatever it's
135. 24:36writing here in a in a web view to the right so I can keep chatting to the left and interacting to the right so that's
136. 24:43very similar to um chat JP's canvas that they just launched these two are going head to-head Claude to my dismay and
137. 24:53amazement is still not connected to the internet which I find staggering and it looks like all of these charts
138. 25:01and graphs are not displaying so I can go um looks like your charts aren't
139. 25:22displaying what it say let me fix the visualization by making a few adjustments to ensure the data is properly loaded and
140. 25:30displayed and by the way if you've never seen these things do this it's mind-blowing that it's just writing code
141. 25:38like this would be a great way to learn code actually right tell it to do something and then just look at how it's
142. 25:43doing it right it's putting these in divs it's got x-axis y AIS [ __ ] going on right there's some chart still not great all right well
143. 25:57anyway that's something to go play with um let me do a new chat here with Claude um what's this I can upload choose what to share with Claud
144. 26:15AI choose a screenshot oh that's interesting so if I grab that tab so that was
145. 26:33Claude go oh no it's mid Journey mid Journey create share oh it's up it's uploading a um so

147. 27:07interface I can explore create organize personalize chat edit yeah all right so it can read images that's cool so Claude
148. 27:18can that do that now um X can do that now if you haven't played with grock recently so here I am on X right and you
149. 27:27know it's it's Twitter but if I click on if you pay your eight bucks a month or however much it is now if you go to
150. 27:35grock grock can now uh interpret images so if I click on this me go to the desktop here let's see we got Aquaman so there's Aquaman so
151. 27:48we're going to pop Aquaman in there and I'm going to say describe this in detail oh wait it didn't do it hang
152. 28:08on describe this oh where did it go the hell's going on here people hey people the hell's going on can I type

155. 28:55there let's do all right we'll do 16 by9 we'll do high stylization we'll do high weirdness and bang and so now this is going to make us four
156. 29:11little weird replicas of that thing it described so we now have multiple tools Beyond just chat GPT that can do a lot of the same
157. 29:21things and that's one of the one of the trends that I'm trying to get my head around is it's like all of the tools can do all of the
158. 29:31things and so so it almost doesn't matter which tool you pick it's just kind of like what tool is good for what you want to
159. 29:41do um how are these yeah they're interesting now I did I did high high uh High weirdness and high stylization here so let me turn those down
160. 29:58and now now we should get something that's pretty close to what it started with if if you if you don't play a lot
161. 30:07with mid Journey there's it's it's weird one of the things that I'm finding with all these tools is depending on how
162. 30:17your brain works the way my brain works um I sort of figure out a way to get it to do something decently
163. 30:25predictable and then I just follow that workflow over and over again I tend not to learn all of the features of the tool
164. 30:33um unless it's doing something that I can't quite like if it's not quite giving me what I need then I'll Explore
165. 30:40More um but but I tend to just you know do [ __ ] that makes sense to me based on you know how I learned to use it the
166. 30:48first time it's not a great way to use software but whatever those kind of interesting all right um and I want to
167. 30:58show you something else there but let me go back to streamyard all right let's go back and look at some
168. 31:05comments who's using 01 preview to train gpts um that's actually making this trend that's probably a really good
169. 31:14idea finally decided on YouTube okay these are old all right sorry man starting to think Sor was vaporware so wait am I 901
170. 31:26okay infographics Kyle how is Claude going to be able to keep up in comparison much longer I wonder um well I think I mean in a lot of ways
171. 31:40Claude is CLA a lot of people like Claude better for writing they like Claude better for coding um I think it's
172. 31:46just going to be an arms race I think all these companies are just going to be battling one another for
173. 31:51features um I rather my digital twin and agent do all the work all right so does anyone have any questions anyone want to see anything in

175. 32:11we could go why don't we Claude is best right now for coding based on my experience with it yeah that's from P modder P would
176. 32:22know and I think Claud is now available in um in GitHub co-pilot I

179. 33:02for me and right now I'm doing this without a moderator so so and not because the moderators aren't willing they're they're

182. 33:33time someone says it I go there and I try it I'm like oh yeah vigle um but i' I don't really use it I've just I've just tried it on
183. 33:42here um all right let me see what else I was going to show you there's my Whimsical okay hedra is really well so
184. 33:51let me let me show you something in mid Journey which I find kind of mindblowing okay so I'm going to go to um how do I do a new
185. 34:09one erase no retexture how do I do a new one oh new upper right hand corner don't
186. 34:26don't you hate that like all of your interface is over here on the left and then to make a new image it's all the
187. 34:31way in the upper right this teeny little new button okay so I'm gonna upload um I'll show you some of the some of the
188. 34:48challenges of being in my brain so I've got this image which is a little like snippet image of like my you know
189. 34:58my corporate headshot and then I've got all these versions of my corporate headshot that are like all up in iCloud
190. 35:04so I don't actually have versions of them locally to this machine um and I could go find them but it's that's a
191. 35:10pain in the ass but I can grab just this little low reses 72 DPI image of me see how it's soft and blurry and then I can go click on the 16
192. 35:23by9 thing and I can you know move this stuff up out make it 16 by9 let's see 16 by9 and let's see we go in here go down
193. 35:41here go 16 by9 okay great so and then I can say man laughing in alley with the blackground bokeh Blurred right and so I
194. 35:50can just say submit edit and now mid journey is going to outp paint all of this and it's mid Journey so it does it doesn't it incredibly
195. 36:04well so wait for it to do its thing get started here so there's that I mean amazing right and that's a little
196. 36:20distracting that's okay I think that one's probably the best but whatever but then I can do I can do things like um let's see I don't like
197. 36:33that and I don't like this and I'll just say um with background um wooden garage
198. 36:49doors boa blurred and then it'll just change out the crap that I got rid of
199. 37:13that still gave me a brick wall I didn't like that all right well there's that's good that's good there so anyway so
200. 37:20that's good and now I can either download this image or I can upscale it into mid Journey so I can take an image
201. 37:29that started outside of mid journey and now it can become you know incorporated into there um you can also do this thing called
202. 37:40retexture let's see um retexture will change the contents of the input image while trying to preserve the original
203. 37:48structure so now I can say man laughing um uh let's see with a
204. 38:06volcano in the background with an erupting volcano in the background
205. 38:21um back lit by the molten lava in the evening and submit retexture and now I
206. 38:37should have me laughing but in a completely new location so this starts to be oh look it added a beard for me it
207. 38:52also made me fatter
208. 39:06so you can start to you know you can start to do things like retain um you know character consistency and you know
209. 39:14completely change [ __ ] up let's see man laughing let's see man laughing um tossing money in the air in
210. 39:29Vegas
211. 39:51baby that's bizarre it made me a black man that's so funny but well there's no money but there is a i one's in the neighborhood
212. 40:07but that's fascinating I'll tell you where this came in handy so I've got my Kyle Shannon dreams so these are all
213. 40:13these images I did back in Fall of 22 so these are all in stable diffusion and I was doing these for Instagram and so they're all like cut
214. 40:23off and and vertical right and so what this feature allows me to do is I can go grab any one of these and I I
215. 40:32also had a uh I had a problem where let me see if I can find one here that's interesting um yeah that one's good so if I
216. 40:48say export that one photo just call this like uh whatever um dreams did that work export or is it
217. 41:04gonna give me an error yeah gave me an error okay so I've got so the The Source images for the things in my photos are
218. 41:13missing they're up in iCloud somewhere um but I can zoom in on that but I don't have the original see how
219. 41:19it's got this iCloud you know error on the bottom I can just take a screenshot of this thing save that to my
220. 41:28desktop and then I can go into mid journey into edit say new upload image so there's my screenshot kind of
221. 41:41low resin fuzzy can I zoom in on this hang on uh no can I yeah so see how fuzzy it is like the Beard's all fuzzy the eyes are all fuzzy
222. 41:56right but I'm going to open this image and then let's say we want to make this a 16 by9 wide image you know I can just come in here
223. 42:15and so we'll just say um magician um wielding powers

226. 43:07background though with the with the circles but are the hands weird I think the hands are weird hands are weird

228. 43:22it's going to be an it's going to make an upscaled version of this and so here's these upscaled and I mean what's amazing is
229. 43:37like you know look at the hair like it it re-ups scales the hair now it kind of Smooths out my face a little bit like it
230. 43:43you know there's sort of all the Humanity's gone out of it but to start with a really you know shitty thing and
231. 43:50then you know upscale it to something that's decently usable pretty remarkable and so this thing's 47% complete 67% or
232. 44:00no 47% still all right well that renders let me come back over and see what y'all are saying what does restore do I don't know
233. 44:09I'm going to crash I drove 12 hours today um I like you streaming on YouTube this is way better for your format plus
234. 44:16I can watch easily on my huge TV yeah that's so one of the things that I've heard is that because it's YouTube
235. 44:23YouTube's on most um you know like Roku and those sort of boxes so you can watch this there the fingers are messed up
236. 44:30what does restore do I don't know uh question please what AI will not be able oh what will AI not be able to do should we have it evolved at
237. 44:41everything shouldn't we keep some tasks away from AI I don't know why I mean you know that's kind of like
238. 44:53saying that's kind of like saying you know shouldn't we not connect some things to the internet yeah I mean sure you
239. 45:01can but I would say more out of nostalgia than there's no reason to arbitrarily not apply AI to something
240. 45:12just because it may threaten something we do right technolog is going to evolve humans are going to evolve if AI can
241. 45:24solve major problems for us and help us innovate and extend who we are and amplify our humanity and give us new ideas and reconnect us as
242. 45:37humans why limit that I mean if it's going to cause an existential risk then that's a very specific thing that needs to be
243. 45:48addressed that's a safety issue that needs to be addressed but just because it's going to change something just
244. 45:53because it's going to become better than us I I mean um who was it is it Jeffrey Hinton talking about this recently I
245. 46:02think it's Jeffrey Hinton talking about the Industrial Revolution replaced human strength physical strength and AI is replacing
246. 46:14intellectual capacity or not replacing it but it's it's getting better um than our intellectual capacity um we didn't
