18:51 into existence um those tools are
18:54 getting really powerful really good as
18:56 the large language models are getting
18:58 better those tools are getting getting
18:59 good so I feel like that's something I
19:01 should be learning I just don't have a
19:04 deep amount
19:07 of patience for it right now because
19:09 they still kind of
19:11 suck
19:13 but as we know as we talk about on this
19:15 channel all the all the
19:18 time the minute these tools start not
19:22 sucking the opportunity will have passed
19:25 us the opportunity is right now so for
19:28 as long as these tools are janky which
19:30 is probably a year year and a
19:33 half there's a lot of
19:37 opportunity and then shit's going to
19:39 start accelerating and then it's just
19:40 going to get crazy people are going to
19:42 be like oh we got to get in now then
19:44 it's going to be too
19:46 late um God I don't know what to do all
19:57 right what does remarkable mean well
20:09 what what remarkable means to
20:13 me you could easily argue that the tools
20:16 in their current state are
20:18 remarkable that you can go to sunno
20:21 right now and have it write a song in 15
20:24 seconds that is good enough to listen
20:27 to is remarkable the fact that you can
20:31 go to Claude 3.7 right now and just ask
20:34 it to write an app and it writes an app
20:36 and let you start using it within three
20:40 minutes is
20:43 remarkable what I'm talking about
20:48 is there's a difference between parlor
20:51 tricks and doing work with
20:56 AI I don't think there's an exception
20:59 I'm trying to think if there's an
21:02 exception
21:05 no there's not a single AI tool that
21:08 I've
21:09 used where when I try to use
21:12 it for for
21:15 work right for for a for a known
21:20 ending that it hasn't failed me along
21:23 the way they always crap out in the last
21:26 10% last 15% last
21:30 20% you can demo them really well and
21:33 they're really good in fact an Murphy
21:36 was talking about this today she's out
21:38 looking at speaker uh venues for for a
21:42 conference for she leads
21:44 Ai and she had chat
21:47 GPT teach her and her husband um
21:51 everything they should know about
21:53 managing an event like that and so it
21:56 did this really impressive list and blah
21:59 blah blah blah and it failed to include
22:02 in the list something that they found
22:04 out in real time which is if you
22:08 organize a big conference where people
22:11 fly in from other cities and stay in
22:14 hotels you as the organizer actually
22:17 have to book the hotel rooms in blocks
22:20 ahead of time and pay up
22:25 front she didn't know that chat GPT
22:28 didn't tell tell her that that's a
22:30 perfect example of where there's just
22:33 this Gap right now where when you try to
22:36 do something real there's something
22:38 that's not quite there and that's the
22:41 thing that I think is going to shift in
22:42 the next year to 18 months is that we're
22:45 g to start to have tools that go from it
22:48 couldn't quite do my job to holy [ __ ] it
22:52 can do my job way better than me and
22:54 we're just not there yet so that's
22:56 that's what it is bottle gome okay good
22:59 I have the same issue struggle to 100%
23:01 finish things yeah exactly struggle to
23:03 100% finish things is the problem all

24:11 their voices are going to sound like and
24:12 it creates uh hosts for
24:15 you jelly
24:17 pod. um I've gotten into the habit of
24:20 asking every chat is there anything else
24:23 we've forgotten three or four
24:27 times that's a good one
24:29 yeah it's just it's it's
24:32 like that gets frustrating that the the
24:35 not getting to 100% thing and
24:40 listen this
24:44 is I am an absolute
24:48 [ __ ] for bitching about
24:51 this I
24:54 mean it's hard to overstate how
24:58 remarkable it is that any of us have
25:02 been given access to tools this
25:06 powerful right our computers do not act
25:09 like they used to act they are
25:11 generating things at our request that is
25:15 absolutely [ __ ] remarkable the fact
25:18 that I'm bitching about the fact that
25:20 I've got to do a little bit of work at
25:21 the end is is is
25:25 insane it's it's overprivileged to the
25:28 point of just like it's
25:31 embarrassing and that's where I am it's
25:34 like like if you're going to be 85% good
25:38 maybe someone could make one that's 99%
25:41 good and that's and so I'm just stuck in
25:44 the 15% right now so I'm just a whiny
25:47 little [ __ ] all right um 80% is a huge

25:53 living in remarkable
25:56 times I mean not for nothing I have I've
25:59 spent the past year
