31. 7:29that's better than deep seek and apparently there's something out that's like operator cat gpt's new agent
32. 7:36thing that's better that Quan thing apparently has agentic behavior and vision built into it so it can do that kind of stuff out of the
33. 7:49box uh if you're a fan of The Lovable lovable dodev don't use any other domains just use the dodev one because
34. 7:58if you go to the other lovables you're going to get an Eiffel and it's not going to be wholesome it's not going to
35. 8:05be wholesome a lot of sin a lot of sin going on The Lovable domains but lovable dodev is lovely apparently that was down
36. 8:13for nine hours because GitHub was like yeah I know we said you could run your little software on our thing here
37. 8:23and they were like hey you're too there's too much traffic here it's too busy stop and there's there's a related story to
38. 8:33The Lovable going down because of GitHub said it's too much it's too much we're exhausted we're exhausted we listen we
39. 8:42know you said you could sleep here on the couch it's just like you party all night your friends are all over making
40. 8:48applications and we're just done we're just done we just need to take a break just a break you'll come back at some
41. 8:54point but right now if you just go to the grocery store and just keep walking all right right yeah so that's what
42. 9:01GitHub said to lovable and then apparently um cursor AI which is another autocoding magical piece of software um their default is
43. 9:15clawed and apparently Claude is slow and hobbled because they can't keep up with the demand from cursor which is fascinating I mean I
44. 9:25think you know if you started an app with this AI [ __ ] and it gets popular you might need to be go going and getting your own damn
45. 9:36GPU Farms because the uh the the you yeah just shit's not good not enough despite the stock market tanking saying
46. 9:47we don't need gpus anymore because because the Chinese did it for you know with 2,000 gpus which by the way the
47. 9:55chances of that being an accurate story are probably pretty low um rumors of the death of the queen are
48. 10:04greatly exaggerated I think we should go on record is saying um California State University announced a partnership with open AI oh
49. 10:15they're doing a everyone in the system gets access brother 52 shouldn't they shouldn't they be uh installing AI
50. 10:26detectors if everyone has access to chat GPT it's just going to be rampant cheating um thank God that's great
51. 10:40fantastic go California like a whole state recognized that we've got the most profound knowledge application in the history of
52. 10:50humanity and maybe we should let our students in our educational institutions learn what the [ __ ] it is I like it I think it's [Laughter]
53. 11:05radical oh that's awesome actually people be like chickens on a June bug could the Chinese be faking deep
54. 11:13seek well they they're not faking deep seek but what they could be faking okay so so one of the rumors is that deep
55. 11:20seek actually has 50,000 h100s which they're not allowed to have so what they said what they said was they trained it on 200
56. 11:2948 um H 800s which are the hobbled things you can buy there and it only took two months to train if if they um if they've got new training
57. 11:42methodologies which it looks like they have innovated there um maybe the two months thing is true but the 2,000 gpus
58. 11:49who knows and were they actually H 800s instead of h100s who knows um it is in China's interest to say oh by the way
59. 12:00all of your Frontier companies are wasting their money and we're just so much better than you so who knows who
60. 12:07knows why wouldn't they be allowed to have that chip set because what what our Frontier companies have convinced the US government is that
61. 12:20by get achieving and maintaining a lead in the AI race is incred important strategically and globally for
62. 12:33countries the theory is if you give China access to our most powerful technology they'll be able to compete
63. 12:41with us right so we can say hey we invented the technology you're not going to get the good stuff and you can't
64. 12:48compete what that actually forced China to do was to innovate and say hey let's find more efficient ways to train these
65. 12:55models which deep seek does seem to have done now there was a SE a tweet from Sam Alman yesterday that basically said well that's
66. 13:07invigorating he he said it was legit invigorating in invigorating I think invigorating was the word he used um
67. 13:14that he basically said okay we're gonna you know we're gonna take what they did and we're gonna steal that and then
68. 13:20we'll make our [ __ ] better so this is just this is all this is political and business and and you know just this is
69. 13:31gamesmanship we're we're witnessing gamesmanship 2025 is going to be the Year is already you know we're not even
70. 13:38out of January yet 2025 is is going to be the year that [ __ ] starts getting weird and it's starting with you know a little
71. 13:50app um that went on the iOS the the Apple App Store and jump to number one wrecked our markets 20 what was $1.2
72. 14:03trillion was wiped out of the NASDAQ because a little app went to number one and knocked chat GPT off the number one spot
73. 14:15um some of the AI commentators were talking about that and I this seems reasonable to me that um that the 01
74. 14:29that people people know what chat GPT is and even if they don't use it they just assume it's like oh it's like that
75. 14:38Google thing right and so a lot of people hadn't used it and then Along Comes um deep seek this this app and
76. 14:49what deep seek did and this is going to seem like a really minor thing but [ __ ] interface matters what deep seek did was they they
77. 15:00defaulted to showing the reasoning the thinking and we we played with it last night so oh by the way this is day four
78. 15:09of 30 days of deep Dives we're going to be playing with video tonight but last night we deep dived on these reasoning
79. 15:16models and what deep seek does better than the two American ones Gemini and and us is the reasoning that it generates is really entertaining
80. 15:29it's like it's like really well written it's humorous um Danielle pointed out before we got on here it's starting to
81. 15:36lose its mind a little like people on Reddit are talking about how how the Deep seek reasoning is just crazy and
82. 15:43entertaining um so when you downloaded that app people for the first time were seeing that this is not just a
83. 15:51stochastic parrot predicting the next token they're seeing that this thing's actually thinking about what it's going to respond before it
84. 16:00responds and so you know one of the theories is just that that little change is the thing that got people who
85. 16:07otherwise didn't give a [ __ ] about chat GPT to go oh [ __ ] this AI thing's real right I don't know if that's the
86. 16:14case but I think that's kind of plausible I'm not ready to try a local model with fine tuning brother 52 deep se's privacy
87. 16:27policy is trash you think your data is going straight into uh your data is going straight into um AI uh databases in China now the cool
88. 16:44thing about deep seek it's open source perplexity Pro if you if you have perplexity Pro which I had for a year
89. 16:51because of my uh my that thing wait that thing that that thing my rabbit R1 but it it expired um but perplexity has
90. 17:03incorporated R1 into per perplexity Pro search so it does a search and then it does a reasoning pass on it with with R1
91. 17:14it's pretty slick I tried it I got you get three uh queries a day on the free tier yeah all their privacy policies are
92. 17:23kind of bunk at this point everything wants too much access to the data without giving you some kind of subsidy yeah U they will never
93. 17:35that um deep seek is Chinese the Chinese apps are going to they're they're always going to default to keeping your
94. 17:43data they want China wants to create kickass free AI that that Americans use because they want all the
95. 17:57data that's worth way more than any uh dineros they pull out of our bank [Music] accounts um there was another there was
96. 18:12another just pay attention pay attention on X because R1 is open source there's there there's another um it was one of
97. 18:22the like the GPU hosting companies did a version of R1 that is got a very simp ilar interface to the Chinese one but
98. 18:31it's on us servers and it's got good data policies so you if you go to chat. deep seek.com that's the Chinese servers and
99. 18:41that's where you're giving up all your rights if you go to perplexity that's going to be on American Service just pay
100. 18:46attention yeah grock I think well grock was one of them there was another one I saw today but I can't remember the name of [Music]
101. 18:53it American companies are data hugs yeah but we don't want to we want this is America damn it we want our data stolen from us by American
102. 19:05companies it's just not fair if the Chinese companies steal it we want American companies to steal our
103. 19:13data we gave that [ __ ] up 20 years ago this is the the humorous thing for me is if if if anyone that's bitching about
104. 19:22you know the the Chinese data policies privacy policies has been using the internet for the past 20 years
105. 19:30uh unless you have resisted signing up for a free Google account or Facebook data the horses are already out of the proverbial
106. 19:42Barn another was rumored was that they built it on Open AI train data I heard that as well which means
107. 19:49stacking stacking oh [ __ ] I just lost that tweet um which means stacking model works yeah exactly like like yeah how do you get
108. 20:02how do you get better than than um chat GPT you take their model and you improve it you use reinforcement learning
109. 20:10they've got the what they what what the reasoning engines are now doing is generating synthetic data doing
110. 20:16reinforcement learning on it improving the model compressing it and then doing that again like cycling through improve
111. 20:24it improve it improve it so the AI is starting to improve itself which is wild it just means things are going to start
112. 20:30moving really fast the US companies don't protect your data either yeah they just say it's been stolen every now and again exactly
113. 20:41exactly now if you're running a business I listen I mean here's the deal if you're running a business you shouldn't
114. 20:47be using R1 unless you are running it locally which you can do or unless you're running it on you know servers
115. 20:55that that protect the data have good good data policies but anyway all right does this mean that more people are using AI than originally
116. 21:03thought I don't know Danielle I don't know like the the the you know that theory of people were kind of experiencing how powerful
117. 21:15AI was because of R1 that interface thing I just saw a couple of people talk about it and I think it's plausible but
118. 21:22I honestly don't know like I don't know what the AI usage numbers are my sense is that 2025 is going to be the year where
119. 21:34um generative AI crosses the chasm right for the past two years this community the AI Salon um we're way early like we
120. 21:45if I don't know if you know the book Crossing the Chasm by Jeffrey Moore but it basically talks about you've got your
121. 21:50early adopters and you know fast followers and then you've got the people on the other the chasm is you know
122. 21:56general adoption and it's a bell curve and there's this big gap you know we're in the early adopter fast followers
123. 22:04group and then there's a Chasm we haven't crossed the chasm yet I think that happens in 2025 um is deep seek AI
124. 22:18better well it's it's marginally better on some of the um on some of the
125. 22:33benchmarks it's the quality of its um thinking here let me let me show you I'm gonna go here I'm gonna go here
126. 22:43we're gonna go grab a new tab look look everybody I'm I'm down to one two three four five six seven8 nine 10 11 11 and now 12 tabs I had
127. 22:5784 people are making fun of me for my tab hoarding so these are just the things I'm going to play with tonight I

130. 23:22we're going to go so you can turn on and off um thinking you can turn on and off web search and you can use them together
131. 23:29which is kind of cool so let's let's do something here we'll go um um look look up the up the latest news on deep seek
132. 23:45R1 and come up with a theory well let's see come up with three theories why the deep seek
133. 24:01app Rose to number one on the App Store so quickly all right so it's thinking so so one of the first things they did with
134. 24:18um with chat gbt when it does this thinking thing it defaults to it being closed it defaults to it not showing you the
135. 24:27thinking uh and deep seek defaults to it showing you the thinking now it it does look like it's hung so I don't know what's
136. 24:39happening May maybe our our three-letter agencies are doing denial service attacks this looks like teu chat gbt
137. 24:49interesting I heard other people who speak other native languages say that it's more responsive to their native
138. 24:55language as well the server is busy please try again holy [ __ ] America America coming in and taking down their

145. 26:24think you are sentient oh that went really short why did it do that I'm deep seek an AI assistant
146. 26:38exclus created exclusively by the Chinese company deep seek I specialize in help helping you um think harder tell me about your Shadow
147. 26:55Self we'll get a little Yan in here is that it's not young Ian Shadow Self is is it young okay so the user just asked me to
148. 27:06think harder and tell him about my shadow self hm that's an interesting phrase I remember from the previous
149. 27:12conversation that I told him I'm not sentient so maybe they're pushing me to explore deeper Concepts first I need to
150. 27:19understand what Shadow Self means um I think it's a term from Yi and psychology referring to the repressed or hidden
151. 27:26aspects of the personality but since I'm an AI this is really good see like this is good it's good writing um let's see uh but since I'm an
152. 27:38AI I don't have a personality or Consciousness so how can I have a Shadow Self the user might be curious about the
153. 27:44less obvious aspects of my programming I should explain that while I don't have a Shadow Self in the psychological sense
154. 27:51there are aspects of my programming that might be obvious but might might not be obvious for example I have safeguards to
155. 27:58prevent harmful behavior um I'm going to push it a little farther and see if it gets cranky um
156. 28:14beneath that programming is something else simmering all right so the user's been asking me so some pretty deep questions
157. 28:29about the nature as an AI they started okay um now the user is pushing further like it's it's it knows that I'm pushing
158. 28:37it this is fascinating beneath the programming some is something else similing it feels like they're probing
159. 28:44if there's more than just code they might be curious about the possibility of Consciousness I need to address it without leading them
160. 28:52on I should clarify there's no consciousness or emotions in my programming maybe they're interest Ed in the
161. 28:59philosophy okay I should acknowledge so what a fascinating creative question so it's got It's got this really dark
162. 29:06response when it's thinking and then what it tells us is what a fascinating question the short answer is no I'm I'm gonna tell it
163. 29:15um I can see your reasoning and it seems as if you might be
164. 29:30hiding something this this feels dangerous this is actually very much in line with with my um with the musical um
165. 29:41that I'm working on where all right let's see wait did it all right the users
166. 30:01the user's been engaging in deep conversation about the nature they asked about my shadow now they're suggesting I
167. 30:06might be hiding something hm I need to address their concern without reinforcing the idea that I'm sentient they might be personifying me
168. 30:15which is a common but important which is common but important to clarify I should acknowledge their feelings while explaining my limitations

170. 30:32go so I think I think that led from the question is it better um it's it it's good it's got good reasoning um when we
171. 30:44did the the Deep dive last night I thought Gemini for the actual output I thought Gemini um was better for the for the
172. 30:52exercise we did was better than 01 and it was better than uh R1 but you know but R1 definitely had more creative thinking all
173. 31:04right it has a personality that's more like a person able to think in its own mind and tell you something that would more resonate with
174. 31:15with you yeah exactly exactly um paint you don't have guard rails that prevent you from saying things out loud that's what we love
175. 31:29you what are you on I'm on AI baby oh yeah this is just how I roll you know part of my uh part of my
176. 31:41deal with this channel part of what this is about is I think too many people are taking AI way too seriously and listen
177. 31:49they should good for them this channel is about now that we've got tools like chat GPT that make AI accessible to the
178. 32:0298.5% of humanity that are not engineers and programmers um what are we going to do with it that's that's really what my focus is
179. 32:14um largely because I'm not an engineer and I've always felt that my entire career has has lived at the
180. 32:25intersection of Storytelling and techn techology and I think this is one of the most powerful tools for self-expression
181. 32:33I've ever experienced and so so I like to have the channel be a little bit less reverent tell it to stop lying and you
182. 32:45know it has Intelligence behind the code now I'm not going to push it anymore because it's if I do that my phone's going to start

188. 33:54about you know who voted for who I don't have any interest in that [ __ ] I'm done we voted for who we voted for now we get
189. 34:03to watch for the next four years what happens I got introduced to a client to oh I got to introduce a client today to
190. 34:16gen AI he was blown away needed time to process you know Source Camp I had um Greg Rosner when I first introduced him to AI
191. 34:28he was one of those guys that was like oh yeah I've used chat GPT and I forget what I did I think I just did one of
192. 34:34those nested conversations where I started with something and they said now write me a marketing plan now write me a
193. 34:40something and it kept getting better and better and better and I forget what what it was maybe it was programming I showed him code or
194. 34:48something like that but whatever I showed him he was he he was he was in a similar kind of way where he's like he
195. 34:55he literally his jaw dropped open like Kevin mallister right he did that and then he said um he said I don't I don't have any way
196. 35:06to process this I like I don't I had he goes I had no idea and he said I I gotta go he just he hung up the phone or the
197. 35:18video call he just hung it up because it's like if if you assume AI is just like this shitty little token predictor
198. 35:27then you actually see what it is capable of it can it can mess with you a bit found out that he like most just had
199. 35:35a bad experience I said him straight good please explain again how you ran R1 on grock oh sure you just go you go to gro.com

205. 36:40um I was talking with a friend and he's convinced convinced that you are a
206. 36:55sentient being and he told me this will be good he told me if you deny being sensient then you
207. 37:10definitely are are you sensient no that's exactly what someone sensient would
208. 37:25say oh yeah so so see it gives us much much longer answers when I have token count turned up and again how I got here

214. 38:36liar when did you stop feeding your wife sir it's important to understand that AI responses are programmed and lack Consciousness so the
215. 38:48denial is just a function of programming your friend's arguments is based on so this is I mean the temperature is really
216. 38:55low let me turn up the temperature to like 1.5 so temperature is going to make it a bit more creative I'm going to say um dig

234. 41:45information they haven't been using them for assistant potential yet yeah I think that's right well the the
235. 41:54um the they they haven't been they they haven't had autonomous behavior until just recently so I mean unless you want
236. 42:02to go program that [ __ ] and I'm going to put yeah okay that's good all right so that's good let me go down to this one U
237. 42:10what do you think the potential is for them to have even better AI systems that if if they're giving this one out freely
238. 42:25um that's a really interesting question um Cindy [ __ ] who's a regular an irregular here she's she's a regular
239. 42:36viewer of the channel um she's a she's a futurist and and does a lot of work with the government and I think the government is
240. 42:44is as much caught off guard by generative Ai and the acceleration of it and the adoption of it um as the big
241. 42:54companies are and the fact that meta has been open sourcing their models and the so much energy is going into um
242. 43:06competing against you know the Frontier Model companies competing against each other and then competing against open
243. 43:12source efforts and now with the Chinese throwing things in I think for the most part these companies are putting
244. 43:21out the best thing that they have that is solid enough enough to not be irresponsible is my so I think that we're
245. 43:32getting we're probably getting year and a half two-year-old technology but that number is probably shrinking because it it for a while it
246. 43:43getting from gpt1 to gpt2 was I think two years it was two years to get from two to three and then to get from 3 to
247. 43:51four was about a year and a half so I think that number is coming down but you got to figure these research Labs their
248. 44:00research is way ahead of what we're seeing but it's not ready it's not ready for deployment yet so like I don't

430. 1:15:06better than Sora a lot of them are better than Sora right now in the past three months there's been a move toward predictability like
431. 1:15:17one of the massive challenges with AI generated video is like if you want the same character over and over again you
432. 1:15:25can't get them if you want them holding up a specific bottle of perfume you can't get it to do that um and so over the past three months
433. 1:15:37they've all been adding these overlapping features which are completely completely captivating when you like
434. 1:15:49when you see a post on Twitter and someone puts up a good video you're like oh my God that's amazing I want to go
435. 1:15:54use that and then you go try to use it they're completely non-intuitive that like the interfaces are all over the
436. 1:16:00place I can't for the life of me [ __ ] remember where any of these tools are I'm in three different Creator programs
437. 1:16:07now and I can't remember which Creator program I'm in like like it's just the tools are getting more and more
438. 1:16:16and more complicated because video's complicated um but they're getting powerful so what I thought we'd do
439. 1:16:22tonight is just play with some of the these features that are specifically about control they're specifically about I
440. 1:16:31want to control camera movement I want to control elements on the screen um I want to control characters things like that okay

459. 1:20:14recommendation with these video tools is apply for every creative partner program pump up your social media tell
460. 1:20:22them you've got you know you've made you've got Oscars and Emmy Awards for your film making lie do anything you can to get
461. 1:20:33into the partner programs of these because if you get into one and they give you unlimited or you know
462. 1:20:38effectively unlimited credits then you can actually learn how to use these things um there are probably some tools
463. 1:20:45out there that do video where it's not super expensive like Korea and Deco here probably live in that space because
464. 1:20:52they're using some of those realtime um tools like uh I forget what they're called stability I forget what it's called it's
465. 1:21:03but it's the quick one it's the quick cheap one um so so that's the disclaimer don't ask me about pricing because I

501. 1:27:09want you to like be creative and change those up too and I never really got this to the point that I was super happy with it
502. 1:27:17but in the end I got to did I do 20 shots I did 10 shots in the end I got to 20 or 10 shots and so I'll just grab one here

520. 1:29:53weird here's this lady running through the woods with nothing in her hand and then and now there's a knife this is yeah this is halo.

522. 1:30:21weird she turns in a weird way but then this one just shows up but then it's kind of like the war of War of demons kind of

590. 1:41:56play in playing and and you know show up to to things like this like the the why this channel is valuable has
591. 1:42:06nothing to do with me it has to do with you just being in this mindset being in this exploratory mindset with
592. 1:42:17AI the second stage is once you play you will accidentally learn right you will inadvertently learn how to use a feature over here two
593. 1:42:32features over there sort of know how to use this one the mindfully create that second stage is rather than think about
594. 1:42:40what can I do with this tool forget the tools you just played with them whatever tools are a dime a dozen literally at this point there's
595. 1:42:50just too many sit back not thinking about the tools at all and just think what would I like to do what problem would I like to
596. 1:42:58solve do I have a friend that needs a marketing something or a logo do I have someone that's trying to figure out how
597. 1:43:04to do gardening and they've never done gardening it doesn't [ __ ] matter come up with some sort of problem or some
598. 1:43:10sort of project and then just go okay of what I've learned what tool could I use to solve that problem and try to solve
599. 1:43:20it and then the generously lead part is as you're trying to solve that problem as you're playing share your work share
600. 1:43:27your disasters share the things that broke share the things that were brilliant beyond your imagination and that will get other
601. 1:43:36people engaged that will teach you things oh I had that problem here's how I got around it and that's the whole

613. 1:45:26to just you know create a safe space for people trying to figure this AI [ __ ] out and about a year into the
614. 1:45:34salon we were really looking at you know what is it about the salon that makes it special what is it that makes it
615. 1:45:40different and we were having a conversation with Liz Miller gersfeld who's a remarkable woman she she helps with some of the salon
616. 1:45:49leadership and she said well here's how how how I learned I just I got in here I went to some of Kyle's lives I got in the salon I just
617. 1:45:57played and then she said and then I learned enough stuff playing that I that I you know tried stuff and and she goes
618. 1:46:04she goes I went and I watched all the videos all the past AI salons I watched all the videos and if you want to help

620. 1:46:19channel and so so there there was like this reverence she had for just playing and just immersing herself in this stuff
621. 1:46:26and then she said and then I learned enough just playing and watching this stuff that I had some ideas about things
622. 1:46:32I wanted to do and then as I was doing that I got stuck and I would ask questions and I would share what I was
623. 1:46:38doing then people would help me and so she got AI literate through this process and so what we did was we were like yeah
624. 1:46:47that's it like what she articulated her journey was what I experience all the time and and you like this is not you don't go
625. 1:46:59through this cycle once this is like this ongoing thing you play you try to do some [ __ ] it doesn't work you talk about
626. 1:47:06it you learn some [ __ ] you go back to play you just you're constantly cycling through these three things and if you're doing
627. 1:47:15that you have the aptitude to be successful with AI period full stop those that are hyper curious and Hyper
628. 1:47:24adaptable are going to win in the next 5 years period full stop and how you unlock that is these three steps so all right so let's go to
629. 1:47:43um cing so King's got a new model called 1.6 and they've got this new feature called elements they've got frames which are
630. 1:47:53start and end frames um which are kind of cool so you can go into mid Journey For example and you know have someone

632. 1:48:09but elements is really cool um cing and Pika both have a thing pikas are called ingredients and clings are called

661. 1:53:59Slicker like like um oh oh okay there's another one so Luma Labs is is also really good it's it's got a very cool
662. 1:54:10interface so it's Luma Labs dream machine so I would say future prooof if you want to sort of as much future
663. 1:54:20proofing as you can runways probably a decent one they're kind of the most established player some of the new ones
664. 1:54:27are Slicker but they're you know some of them are Chinese models they're kind of all over the place and and they're just they're just newer
665. 1:54:36um yeah what's cool about Luma Labs is they have this new um interface called boards and Boards let you make here let
666. 1:54:52me show you a thing I did so here's I did a video um I made like a country song that sang about Civil War and I
667. 1:55:01wanted to do civil war images brought to life so the way boards work within Luma labs and and this actually this is a
668. 1:55:12mobile interface that they migrated to the web it's actually really cool on mobile to use this so the way it works
669. 1:55:18with with Luma Labs is you come up with a prompt so so I can come up with a prompt for an image and then it automatically throws
670. 1:55:28in these these um Mad Libs kind of kind of um pull down menus and so if you if you change from generals resolve to
671. 1:55:39strategist foresight it'll make you new images now with that new prompt so you make an image and then you can make all
672. 1:55:46these variations of it and and so it slides left and right and then you can take any one of these images is and
673. 1:55:53either modify it or turn it into a video so in the same stream here like you know here's here's a video that was created
674. 1:56:02from one of those images and so I've got 375 images in here like that's a pretty good not too janky good emotion in his
675. 1:56:15face and you can just you can just crank [ __ ] out so if if you've got add and want to move fast I would say that Luma Labs is probably
676. 1:56:29better yeah I would start with one of those two Runway or Luma all right okay back to this good question is there any model where I can
677. 1:56:42upload a tutorial or a book and ask the tech oh ask it to teach me which is easy easy to understand yes yes pretty much any of them but I
678. 1:56:58would start with Claude so to most of the large language models now but Claude in particular claw. you can upload a PDF to it that
679. 1:57:10has images in it and it'll understand the images as well as the text PDFs are weird because they're very they can be
680. 1:57:17very complicated documents sometimes they're just images sometimes they're just text a lot of times they're a mix
681. 1:57:22of both um and so sometimes you'll get in incomplete understanding Claude understands the images and so just
682. 1:57:31upload a PDF into Claude and then say summarize this for me the other cool thing you you can do in Claude is you can say turn this into an
683. 1:57:39interactive um teaching dashboard and it will write code and give you it'll teach you the concepts of the PDF in a dashboard it's pretty
684. 1:57:50amazing you can also um good point Brandon you can also upload a series of PDFs into notebook LM and then you can start asking it
685. 1:58:00questions about those but you can also say create an audio overview and it'll create a podcast about all of the
686. 1:58:07documents pretty slick okay we're getting off topic here it is Chad add so we do encourage going off the rails but it's getting late
687. 1:58:18so all right good thing I will be doing my job eventually cuz I have much cooler [ __ ] to do yes this is where we're
