17:35 like three or four years, right? So, so
17:38 the AI salon has taken a position that
17:40 we're going to conditionally
17:43 support the moratorum and the conditions
17:47 are things like there should be a
17:48 check-in every 3 years to see if maybe
17:50 we need to revisit this thing because 10
17:53 years is way too long for no regulation.
17:55 like we believe there should be fair
17:57 regulation and you should you should
18:00 address risks but you should also
18:01 protect all the opportunities that
18:03 generative AI makes possible and the
18:05 states are just absolutely [ __ ] it
18:08 up. So having at least a federal thing
18:10 that says states can't there's not going
18:12 to be a patchwork quilt of regulations
18:15 because that is going to [ __ ] up
18:17 innovation. So that happened

1:15:36 B+ quality. I don't think we have
1:15:39 anything right now that's an A quality.
1:15:41 Um, but it's pretty good. But this tool,
1:15:44 one of the things you can do at 11 Labs
1:15:46 is they have a sound effects model where
1:15:49 you can do sound effects, right? It's
1:15:50 been trained on all the sound effects.
1:15:52 And so this is a sound board that
1:15:55 they've launched. And this is available
1:15:56 now. We can go play with it, but I'll
1:15:57 I'll play the video because it's pretty
1:15:58 good.
1:16:04 We are launching the SP1 infinite
1:16:06 soundboard from 11 Labs.
1:16:10 Now, what makes this soundboard
1:16:12 incredibly unique is that you can
1:16:14 describe any sound you can think of. And
1:16:17 our AI text to sound effects model will
1:16:20 give you sound effects that you can then
1:16:21 drop into this soundboard. You are no
1:16:23 longer limited by the sound effects or
1:16:25 the MP3s that you can find online. So,
1:16:28 I'm going to show you how this works.
1:16:31 When you land on the SP1, you'll see
1:16:33 that we've given you four presets.
1:16:35 There's an ambient preset, a drum
1:16:37 machine, sounds from movies, and animal
1:16:40 sounds. Now, with the ambient preset, we
1:16:43 have sounds like white rain and heavy
1:16:47 rain and maybe the sound of waves as
1:16:51 well. And these have all been generated
1:16:53 by just describing the sound and having
1:16:55 our model generate the sound effect. So,
1:16:57 let's say I want to add a new sound to
1:17:00 this ambient soundboard. I am going to
1:17:03 ask for
1:17:05 uh the sound of rain hitting the roof of
1:17:12 a
1:17:14 tent. And I'm going to click generate.
1:17:16 And the model is going to give me four
1:17:18 sound effects that have been created
1:17:20 completely from scratch that I can
1:17:22 choose from and then drop into my
1:17:24 soundboard.
1:17:25 So, I'm going to listen through these
1:17:30 generations. And when I find one that I
1:17:33 like, let's go for number four. I can
1:17:36 add it to this button
1:17:38 here. So now I can trigger this sound
1:17:41 effect in my soundboard. And I can also
1:17:44 loop these sound effects. So I could
1:17:46 have this sound effect looping around on
1:17:49 rotation with the sound of waves as
1:17:51 well. You can imagine this being really
1:17:54 nice for a guided meditation or perhaps
1:17:57 you just want to have some nice ambient
1:17:59 sound while you're working and to help
1:18:01 you focus. So, I'm going to stop these.
1:18:05 Um, one of the things I noticed is that
1:18:09 you can loop the sounds, but the sounds
1:18:11 are not generated as
1:18:13 loopable, meaning it doesn't it's not at
1:18:17 the same level at the beginning and and
1:18:20 the end. So when it hits the end and
1:18:22 then it restarts, you hear a skip. You
1:18:24 hear a you hear an interruption. So
1:18:26 that's something that they should fix in
1:18:28 the future. The other thing that this
1:18:30 doesn't have, which I think is a big
1:18:31 miss, and I actually suggested this to
1:18:34 them today, it doesn't have a record
1:18:36 this session, right? Like what would be
1:18:38 nice is is you just, you know, hit
1:18:41 record this session, do a bunch of sound
1:18:43 effects for like two minutes, and then
1:18:45 that becomes the sound effect for a long
1:18:47 video clip that you've got. It doesn't
1:18:49 really have that right now. I know
1:18:51 there's ways you could route audio to do
1:18:54 that, but it's like that should just be
1:18:56 built into this. But anyway, that's it.
1:18:58 It's pretty slick. Um, you can add your
1:19:01 own boards. They've got animal sounds.
1:19:03 They've got movie sounds like explosions
1:19:06 and, you know, special effects. And then
1:19:08 you can you could just make a whole
1:19:10 thing where it's like, you know, just
1:19:12 saying anything you want it to say. Um,
1:19:16 DTAB, good idea. Um, great. So, let me
1:19:19 go back to let me escape there. So, how
1:19:23 to get to it is just look up 11 Labs
1:19:27 SB-1 and you'll you'll find this this
1:19:30 post. And then the second post

1:40:13 Manis, it's one of these autonomous
1:40:15 agents that does lots of
1:40:17 things. It can generate
1:40:20 images and it can generate images in the
1:40:23 context of its reasoning. So, I saw an
1:40:27 example that that uh I did a modified
1:40:30 version of where I uploaded a picture of
1:40:32 a living room that I found on the
1:40:34 internet and I said, "I want you to
1:40:37 source I I want I want you to redesign
1:40:40 this room to look exactly like Frank
1:40:42 Lloyd Wright designed it, but with
1:40:45 furniture and fixtures and accessories
1:40:48 that I can buy
1:40:49 today." And so it went off and it
1:40:52 researched what Frank what a Franklidd
1:40:55 Wright room would look like. It read
1:40:56 articles and it came up with color
1:41:00 palettes and then it generated a room
1:41:04 image and then it gave me a shopping
1:41:06 list where you could go buy all the
1:41:07 [ __ ] Now, it wasn't quite perfect, but
1:41:10 it was pretty [ __ ] good. So, um, if
1:41:13 you want to go explore something, if
1:41:14 you've played with Manis before, it can
1:41:16 now generate images. So, there's all
1:41:18 sorts of cool [ __ ] you can do with that.
