41. 7:52the 12th so the other thing that happened is um Google announc or released made access to the Gemini apis for pro and Nano available
42. 8:08to developers today but you know what I saw Pate McKenzie Bose who did um GPT boss um he did a couple of videos today
43. 8:17apparently Canada doesn't have access to the Google apis so so if you pay for Google workpace or if you're Canadian
44. 8:25Google's like [ __ ] you everyone but you at least mid journey I understand if you haven't made 10,000 images [ __ ] off the
45. 8:34the people that have proven themselves mid Journey loyalists we're going to give them first crack at the thing which I think is
46. 8:42smart um but anyway yeah so chat gp4 can probably help uh with almost all aspects of the IOS app you're still going to
47. 8:50have to like it'll tell you install X code install these libraries do these things it's glitchy bad Kyle you know what when I started

104. 19:32um and it has access to X data in real time so what what grock is looking like to me is it's like a pretty good Twitter
105. 19:40search engine it's like they upgraded Twitter search right now it might get better um it's like a smartass Twitter search engine right
106. 19:50now uh but I don't know what it was trained on I I assume he did not train it on Open AI data because there was not
107. 19:57any good relationship ship there so I'm assuming I'm assuming they did a little something different if you know what I
108. 20:05mean um all right so one of the things we did last night is I went through all of the not all of I I went through an
109. 20:14exercise where I showed a bunch of the different things you can do in chat GPT 4 but what I didn't do was make a GPT so
110. 20:22we can do that tonight if you want we can go look at um some of the multimedia stuff I created a couple of new products
111. 20:31for my business Story vine that involve doing avatars and personas like bringing non-real people to life
112. 20:43um and we could go look at that there's some really interesting things 11 Labs just announced or not announced they
113. 20:49released this new feature called Speech to speech which is super cool maybe I'll go show that first I don't know what I'm
114. 20:57going to do first what we going to do why don't you lead me you tell me what to do what do you want to do what do you
115. 21:02want to do people listen listen we could do anything you want to do you want to you want to go uh you want to just go
116. 21:09like what's chat J we could go there or we could go like uh we could go like uh like a computer computer science
117. 21:17programming like I could just do I could go go deep deep deep into computer science programming ma mathematics no I can't I told you I
118. 21:26don't have qualifications speech to speech all right you want to see speech to speech fine let me go show

124. 22:40platform where we have an app that somebody answers a series of prompts in the app um and they kind of just follow
125. 22:48follow the bouncing ball and it's kind of like karaoke for storytelling they just answer some questions that goes up
126. 22:53to the cloud 5 minutes later you got a fully edited video with graphics and and all that sort of happy horse [ __ ] so
127. 22:59it's pretty cool um but we're starting to expand what it can do with AI cuz you know I don't shut up about this [ __ ]
128. 23:09it's all I think about and I'm like hey you know what we could do so here's one of the things that we could do
129. 23:16um here we got a video of Ellen my greatest source of support living with rheumatoid arthritis has been um
130. 23:23speaking with other people about what they've gone through uh reading a lot about the effects of rheumatoid
131. 23:30arthritis so we do a lot in healthcare and Pharma and so you know patient patient story here hang on let make this
132. 23:38a little bigger a little more bigger so you can see some stuff uh and then here she is speaking
133. 23:56Spanish and so what we can do is because our system is modular we can take the modules the the video modules of first
134. 24:10speaking English translate them to Spanish put them back into our system and generate uh a Spanish video and then
135. 24:16we can put it into this system that we just built where it'll take the video in Spanish and now generate Spanish
136. 24:23transcripts and a Spanish description and Spanish chapters and Spanish blog posts and things like that
137. 24:28super cool but here's the finished video with Ellen uh speaking Spanish I'll just put a little bit in [Music]
138. 24:44[Music] here and so I don't know if you saw it but the the little lower third was in Spanish so you know translate all the

141. 25:31so her voice you know all that sort of stuff so that's super cool now what we can also do is we could take let's just say we just had audio
142. 25:40recording of Ellen telling her story but we didn't have her image we could take a picture of her we could turn that into a
143. 25:47say a dolly 3 or mid Journey image like a little stylized sketch of her Hey Siri hey Siri what do you want to search for go away
144. 25:58what do you want to search for go away what do you want to search for boy all right um so we got audio of
145. 26:11Ellen we make a picture of her and then we can bring that picture to life so we can generate a video from just an audio
146. 26:17Source my greatest source of support living with ritard arthritis has been um speaking with other people about what they've gone through
147. 26:28uh reading a lot about the effects of rheumatoid arthritis or we can take a recording of her we can make um a
148. 26:35synthesized model of her on 11 Labs is where I did it and hi I'm Ellen despite living with rheumatoid arthritis I've
149. 26:45discovered a passion for water skiing and interpretive dance which bring joy and a sense of freedom to my life so
150. 26:51that's just text to video right so I can just have a written story and now I can do that and it gets even better I can
151. 27:00then take it one step further and say if we have no stories if we have no people that we've captured video from we can generate
152. 27:08personas and we can bring those personas to life in a similar way and this is where you speech to speech hi I'm George

401. 1:09:01they they had to stop um taking new subscribers for for a month uh so it's probably going up pretty quickly right now
402. 1:09:12um you can you can make Bots there on PO you can monetize them today what Sam Alman said is when the store comes out
403. 1:09:20you're going to have to be an approved GPT maker right for them to put your bots on their store so I assume
404. 1:09:29that's a relatively straightforward process and then once you're approved if your GPT performs well if it's one of
405. 1:09:37the ones that gets used they will be doing rev sharing what is not at all clear at all like zero Clarity
406. 1:09:46is if they make a million dollars are they splitting it 50/50 with the GPT makers or they splitting it 991 with the
407. 1:09:55GPT makers now if you listen to Sam mman and if you look at his actions like his worldcoin project he is concerned about

458. 1:18:43of this image and it'll give you some number uh and then you can um use that to generate future images and it should
459. 1:18:52look kind of similar I haven't had great luck with that but that's something you can look up and look at let's see how

557. 1:38:20when you make something like chat GPT called temperature so the the way large language models work one of the
558. 1:38:28misconceptions is that is that They're copying and pasting right and there's there's articles out there from from you
559. 1:38:34know people that say you know chat EPT is the world's greatest plagiarizing machine that person clearly doesn't understand how these things
560. 1:38:44work or or or what's going on behind them now have they been trained on lots and lots of [ __ ] where there could
561. 1:38:52conceivably be something in there that comes out they've been trained on that but none of the original documents
562. 1:39:02survive what's called embedding what happens when when when these models are trained there's there's this process
563. 1:39:09called embedding and what they do is they take big documents and the words within the document are given a mathematical value
564. 1:39:20in Vector space so like a two Vector thing a two a two whatever a two Vector no a two axis a two axis Vector space XY right will have
565. 1:39:35like a DOT here that's like you know 1 one and a DOT here that's like 7 s and a DOT here that's like 17 right
566. 1:39:43so think of a thousand Dimension mathematical space when when documents get embedded the individual words get assigned a
567. 1:39:53mathematical value in Thousand Dimension space this is this is true this how the it's how the [ __ ] works and when you type your
568. 1:40:04prompt oh and the other thing about the the the point in Thousand Vector space thousand Dimension Vector space is the words from certain
569. 1:40:15documents get clustered together in semantic regions in in Vector space and so a semantic region might be like dog a
570. 1:40:25dog is the fluffy furry thing that sings When you play your guitar or there might be another semantic region of that space
571. 1:40:34where dog is the guy that did his girl bad he's a dog right so it it it ingests all these documents it takes the words
572. 1:40:43and understands their semantic meaning and just basically like scatters those words into math space and then when you type your
573. 1:40:53prompt and hit submit it turns that prompt into a mathematical probability of the most likely word to come
574. 1:41:05next and then it goes into math space and it goes where's that vector and it pulls down that vector and says what
575. 1:41:12word is this number associated with and it says dog and it sticks that in your sentence so when you see it write a
576. 1:41:19whole paragraph for you or a whole article for you it's doing it one word at a time with mathematical probability
577. 1:41:26it's got no [ __ ] idea at all what it wrote zero which I find it I find it when you understand how these things
578. 1:41:34work it is more remarkable that they do what they do like it is just it is [ __ ] magic sorry it is I don't have a
579. 1:41:41math degree mathematicians are like well it's really just probability Kyle it's not very no it's [ __ ]
580. 1:41:49Magic it's like it's like answering a question by picking random words out of a bucket until they until they make
581. 1:41:56sense yeah that it's kind of that although you're reaching into the bucket in you kind of know in the bottom right
582. 1:42:02of the bucket is where like the little pink slips are and you and within the pink slips there's one that's got the
583. 1:42:07highest probability the regions are each of the dimensions each Dimension is a way of measuring things yeah exactly so it's just
584. 1:42:17cuckoo so so because of that the G and GP T stands for generative it is generating generating original content through this mathematical
585. 1:42:28process and then there's a thing in in the programming side called temperature it's a setting chat jbt as far as I know
586. 1:42:38defaults to 7 and it's a scale of 0 to one so if your temperature is zero it will take the the word that has the
587. 1:42:46highest probability will be the next word so that makes things very very predictive so if you have your temperature set to
588. 1:42:55zero you will get an answer for a specific prompt and then you'll keep getting that same answer for that
589. 1:43:00specific prompt chat GPT defaults to 7 so it's it's more on the creative side so what what temperature does is it
590. 1:43:08randomizes it it'll say Okay instead of just one word being the probability here's like 20 that might be the next
591. 1:43:15word or some version of that so it gets more creative and that's why when you do the same prompt over and over again
592. 1:43:22you'll get very different results sometimes will this work put all my Ants genealogy info and have it sorted out
593. 1:43:29and make a book absolutely will work absolutely yes yes you can upload it um it depends how you have it right

630. 1:50:15crowd I would argue two things are true one is a lot of artwork was generated in his name and and in a similar style of
631. 1:50:25his work which he could argue took money from him that is probably partially true there is probably a massive amount of work that
632. 1:50:38was created though that they never would have paid him to make them an illustration anyway right so this is net
633. 1:50:45new work that I would argue that a lot of that work that used his name name got his name out there further and further
634. 1:50:53he didn't feel that way he felt like you know it was trained on my stuff I'm not being compensated you're stealing your [ __ ] go [ __ ]
635. 1:51:01yourselves but when you understand how these things actually work that's not what's happening it's not what's there
636. 1:51:07the images that get trained are not in the system as images they're in as these random noise things that have been noised over
637. 1:51:1950 70 steps and then when you type your prompt it does that similar sort of math thing and it amalgamates thousands of
638. 1:51:27images that are all random pixels into a sort of random pixelized thing and then it denoises it over 50 steps to go from
639. 1:51:37random noise to the image that you see on screen again the fact that it does what it does is staggering like it is
640. 1:51:45remarkable like how it does it I don't know but it is not copying and pasting but it's just it this is just people are
