99. 25:25yourself and then two tabs below that there's this thing that says play first and AI tools and if you click on that
100. 25:33that takes you to this page that I maintain so someone before asked me if I'm still doing the top you know the the
101. 25:39top tools Pages it's turned into this list so it starts out with here here here is a little journey that if you're
102. 25:47just getting started this is the journey to go on play first then mindfully create then generously lead and I
103. 25:54explain what those mean but basically play first me means just start playing with the tools don't don't try to learn
104. 26:00anything don't try to get all fancy just start playing and then when you start getting your head around what these
105. 26:06things are and what they make possible then you can start moving into like building things and mindfully creating
106. 26:12something or solving problems and then generously lead means teach other people and you know become a leader in the
107. 26:20community and then down below those instructions are a big long list that starts with chat GPT and it just rolls
108. 26:27and rolls and rolls there's eight different large language models seven or eight image generation tools bunch of video tools bunch of
109. 26:36audio tools 3D tools some promising new tools and then some people to follow so this list is worth the price
110. 26:46of admission and what's the price of admission for the AI Salon 0 like as in zero no dollar no dollar no
111. 26:59dollar so all right cool eh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah and then the other thing you can do here which is super cool is keep coming

123. 28:51GPT it's why I have it first and I even describe here's what's in it that you need to pay attention
124. 29:08to I do think it's worth paying the 20 bucks a month for the GPT Plus account um but there's a bunch of stuff change
125. 29:19there's a bunch of stuff happening right now where they're rolling out a new version and they're going to be giving that
126. 29:24to all non-paid members but paid numers are still going to get something more so it looks like what's happening right now
127. 29:33is that a llama Turtle yes I think it probably was llama Turtles uh the the turtles from the AI Salon come from I like toles
128. 29:46that YouTube video from many many years ago that just cracks me up every time I see it and I played it a lot when I
129. 29:52first started doing these lives [Music] have you figured out how to make money
130. 30:07on AI uh I have well yes I have and in fact the video I made today on my channel is called how to make money with
131. 30:17chat gbt you can make money with chbt so there's a 9 minute video on my channel uh right now the latest video is
132. 30:28the chat is the how to make money video uh cuz I realized I haven't done that video in a while or or said that in a
133. 30:36while so that's funny that you should ask Cal Irvin we were all there at one point we're very accepting and open
134. 30:49that's the thing Cal so if you're brand brand new the thing about the AI Salon let me I didn't go over the values let me share
135. 30:56the values with you for a second cuz they're really important this group The the sort of prerequisite to be in this
136. 31:03group is that we want people that are curious people trying to figure this stuff out and the next value below that
137. 31:10is generosity so as you're figuring stuff out being willing to share what you're learning that's what this
138. 31:16community is all about and it really is what this community is all about it's not like these are aspirational this is who's in here and

146. 32:15say about the chat GPT roll out of new tools oh just that um it looks like Danielle you pointed this out earlier it
147. 32:24looks like the new voice capabilities are coming soon they're at least starting to announce them in chat GPT and it looks like
148. 32:31they're going to be coming to the paid Members First so one of the things that they've always said at open AI is that
149. 32:38paying the 20 bucks for the Plus Account gets you early access to tools and so it looks like that's going to happen um
150. 32:47inclusion is one of our values so inclusion you know is important for a lot of reasons right there's there's the
151. 32:54basic diversity thing but there's also inclusion of say people who are just beginners inclusion of people that come from
152. 33:05non-standard career paths right or people that are retired or people that are completely Reinventing themselves or
153. 33:12people that are starting small businesses that have nothing to do with AI there are still people who are
154. 33:19curious about this AI stuff so if you're a complete Flatout novice this is a community that doesn't penalize that and
155. 33:28that's very rare um empathy is one of our values like really understanding that people are afraid they might feel
156. 33:35like I got to figure this [ __ ] out or I'm going to lose my job and that D they might be angry they might be pissed off
157. 33:41they might not understand it they might be fearful and angry because they don't understand it right that's one of the
158. 33:48things that we see is that people that tend to be really afraid of AI or angry about AI actually aren't using it so
159. 33:56this this group The the are you know the beginning thing we open with is play first and then the final one is
160. 34:04gratitude this a community where people can connect with one another and support one another and then actually acknowledge
161. 34:12that so I received an email from open AI today asking me if I want to demonetize one of my gpts oh that's
162. 34:20interesting are you sure it was from open AI did it I wonder what that means if you want to monetize it um it looks like uh some
163. 34:34some people on PO are are doing it oh okay Andrea yeah thanks guys I'll be cautious yeah exactly I wouldn't open it
164. 34:42yet to find out we heard someone say they got emails and it wasn't yeah yeah that doesn't sound like something you
165. 34:48you'd hear from open AI if they were going to monetize gpts in open AI um yeah yeah yeah okay it's yeah it's a third party
166. 35:02yeah um one thing that I have heard is um Lee uh lee chaston who who is one of the authors of the AI Futures book that
167. 35:11I I was a contributing author for he converted a bunch of his chat GPT gpts into Po gpts and over on PO you can
168. 35:23monetize them and he said one of his gpts over there is actually starting to generate a little a little bit of
169. 35:28Revenue it's not a lot but it's starting to generate Revenue so if you're impatient about gpts you can you can
170. 35:35jump over there let me go see what Corey put in Irregulars Cory Sandler create an amazing image about a person just beginning their
171. 35:49Journey have having them play with AI photo realistic oh this is cool so if you go to the salon and go to the
172. 35:57regulars Cory Sandler put this in here for you here's the prompt that generated this image and then if you've if you've got
173. 36:06access to chat GPT 4 you can do it right in there so I'm just going to paste that in there if you don't have access to that
174. 36:19you can go to a site let's see how this looks it links to GPT wallets and they have videos on how it works yeah that's
175. 36:27that's a third-party service that's not um like oh I think I I got a similar sort of email Andrea it's it's a really interesting
176. 36:38concept that I think is going to be obliterated if and when um if and when uh open AI puts a mon monetization layer on on gpts um it
177. 36:53it might be legit I saw that thing I went and looked at the site and it's basically they've got a wallet that
178. 36:59allows you to um forget how it worked someone clicks on your GPT and I think they can do they can do ask it one
179. 37:08question oh no you know what you do I think you add something to your GPT that says in order for this GPT to work you
180. 37:14have to click on this link and then pay your money and then it will continue um the only reason it assuming it's
181. 37:23legit which I don't know if it is the only reason I would hesitate on something like that and why I'm not
182. 37:29doing it is I'm just going to wait for open AI to do their thing because I don't want to be locked into some third
183. 37:35party thing that just gets blown up the minute I have uh I have oh that's cool there's the there's the image it created scroll up
184. 37:45got it and then the other thing if you don't have access to dolly3 you can go to co- pilot. microsoft.com copilot do
185. 38:00microsoft.com and you can type in that same prompt that Corey gave you and this is free and then the other one is uh that I

195. 40:25generative AI tools here's one of of the things I can promise you um you will have Kevin McAllister moments where
196. 40:32you're just like absolutely mind blown that this stuff is possible and then you'll have other moments where you're
197. 40:38like why can't I just get it to make me you know this specific kind of pet or you know why why are the Tulips square
198. 40:46or whatever it is and and you can't you just can't get away from it it's like it's just kind of the way it is right
199. 40:54now embrace the Jank all right so when you change AI Journey from can Journey you actually get things that are more
200. 41:00like an AI journey I actually love that one this is ideogram doai is what this one is the other site that I would go to if
201. 41:12I were brand new with this AI stuff is ud.com that makes music so I played a song earlier if I go to my creations and just
202. 41:25at the top I'm going to hit the roll the dice Bang song about a road trip of no destination Rock and I'm going to create
203. 41:39and this is going to make us two rock songs with lyrics about that you can this is a decently sophisticated tool at this
204. 41:48point where you can make you can add your own lyrics that you wrote in chat GPT or you wrote on your own you can do
205. 41:54your own sophisticated prompts you can extend the songs you can change lyrics it's it's fairly
206. 42:09sophisticated oh use prompt for a lyric idea that's actually a really good idea so song song about a person just beginning

216. 44:18doesn't split them into tracks but all of that stuff's coming but it does everything it writes the music the

292. 1:02:42intelligence of humanity I saw that tweet and all of a sudden it hit me something I've been like trying to
293. 1:02:50articulate for like N9 months is that my experience in using chat GP PT is that it doesn't feel like a bot they're they
294. 1:02:59call them chat Bots and they call it artificial intelligence they call it a bot and it's not a bot it feels
295. 1:03:05different than that it feels more human and when she wrote this all of a sudden that hit me that that's the term
296. 1:03:15that why chat GPT feels not technical is because what it was trained on was the collective intelligence of as much stuff
297. 1:03:24they could pull off the public inter is possible so it's yeah the Borg Collective it yeah it is literally when
298. 1:03:30you use chat GPT it is reflecting Humanity back in your face and so that's why it has this feeling of humanity so

300. 1:03:48it so back to chat gbt as with most things I do I try to start everything I can with chat GPT so I went to chat GPT and I
301. 1:04:06said man I did a bunch of versions of this so I wrote this super long prompt I want to write an article that suggests
302. 1:04:13using the term collective intelligence is more accurate than artificial intelligence with interacting with large
303. 1:04:19language models even though large language models is technically a probability because it's pre-trained on
304. 1:04:26the collective output of humanity it's much more human experienced than interacting with the bot as common culture commonly describes the
305. 1:04:35experience act as a prize-winning writer and give me an outline of a LinkedIn article and then it gave me an outline
306. 1:04:44of an article and then I think I told it I didn't like something about that I did some cool research I said okay great take that outline
307. 1:04:59and then and then I said do the please do the research for me and then it did the research and then I think I said now
308. 1:05:06write the article yeah write me a draft of the article and mark down so it wrote a version of it it was okay and then I said rewrite
309. 1:05:17this to be more conversational and first person refer to my personal experience we interacting with a modern llm chatbot
310. 1:05:25feels more different so it was very generic before and then I so I gave it some specific things to talk about it did
311. 1:05:32another version it was pretty good and I think I might have done one more oh I did say mention this tweet so
312. 1:05:48I uploaded the tweet I let it use its Vision to see the tweet I said mention this tweet and so it did that I changed the title it rewrote it
313. 1:06:09again and then what did I say your description is wrong so basically I keep so it keeps writing the article I keep tweaking it adding stuff
314. 1:06:20but it I'm just letting it do the the first draft right and then I think this is probably the point at which I went
315. 1:06:26off and just rewrote the thing so I took the basic okay yeah so I took the basic the basic thing that it wrote and like I cut
316. 1:06:37out a whole bunch of sections and I and I essentially rewrote every single every single paragraph and then what I did after I
317. 1:06:45wrote so that process of getting to the first draft took me I don't know 15 20 minutes and then when I got it to the
318. 1:06:55place it was okay that's decent I copied and pasted that into a into a I where did I do it in maybe just in the
319. 1:07:04LinkedIn yeah I think I just did it in the LinkedIn article composer tool and so I completely rewrote it and
320. 1:07:12then I thought oh here's an idea so I said okay here's the article I rewrote based on what you started and so I
321. 1:07:20pasted in the whole article that I wrote this of how my writing style is is different than what you wrote I want the
322. 1:07:29analys analysis to be general not topic specific and then so it said you know tone of voice um it compared its version with my
323. 1:07:42revised version it it did it for structure and flow it did it for what is up with you what do you want hang on sorry dog management out
