25:28 there's this thing that says play first
25:30 and AI tools and if you click on that
25:34 that takes you to this page that I
25:35 maintain so someone before asked me if
25:37 I'm still doing the top you know the the
25:39 top tools Pages it's turned into this
25:42 list so it starts out with here here
25:45 here is a little journey that if you're
25:47 just getting started this is the journey
25:49 to go on play first then mindfully
25:52 create then generously lead and I
25:55 explain what those mean but basically
25:56 play first me means just start playing
25:59 with the tools don't don't try to learn
26:01 anything don't try to get all fancy just
26:03 start playing and then when you start
26:05 getting your head around what these
26:06 things are and what they make possible
26:08 then you can start moving into like
26:10 building things and mindfully creating
26:12 something or solving problems and then
26:14 generously lead means teach other people
26:18 and you know become a leader in the
26:20 community and then down below those
26:22 instructions are a big long list that
26:24 starts with chat GPT and it just rolls
26:28 and rolls and rolls there's eight
26:29 different large language models seven or
26:31 eight image generation
26:33 tools bunch of video tools bunch of
26:36 audio tools 3D tools some promising new
26:41 tools and then some people to
26:44 follow so this list is worth the price
26:46 of admission and what's the price of
26:48 admission for the AI Salon

29:09 to I do think it's worth paying the 20
29:11 bucks a month for the GPT Plus
29:15 account
29:17 um but there's a bunch of stuff change
29:19 there's a bunch of stuff happening right
29:21 now where they're rolling out a new
29:22 version and they're going to be giving
29:24 that
29:25 to all non-paid members but paid numers
29:28 are still going to get something more so
29:30 it looks like what's happening right now
29:33 is that a llama Turtle yes I think it
29:35 probably
29:40 was llama Turtles uh the the turtles
29:44 from the AI Salon come from I like toles
29:47 that YouTube video from many many years
29:49 ago that just cracks me up every time I
29:51 see it and I played it a lot when I
29:53 first started doing these lives

31:13 stuff out being willing to share what
31:15 you're learning that's what this
31:17 community is all about and it really is
31:19 what this community is all about it's
31:20 not like these are
31:22 aspirational this is who's in here and

31:52 comes out they're trying to figure it
31:53 out they're sharing what they're
31:54 learning it's a collaborative group
31:57 there's lots and lots of side projects
31:59 and you know teams being formed and and
32:02 just little little projects and it's
32:04 really cool the video was very in
32:06 informative Wolfman Clint and I reposted
32:09 it awesome thank you sir I appreciate
32:11 that uh what were you going to say about
32:13 the chat CHP wait what were you going to
32:16 say about the chat GPT roll out of new
32:18 tools oh just that um it looks like
32:22 Danielle you pointed this out earlier it
32:24 looks like the new voice capabilities
32:27 are coming soon
32:28 they're at least starting to announce
32:30 them in chat GPT and it looks like
32:32 they're going to be coming to the paid
32:33 Members First so one of the things that
32:36 they've always said at open AI is that
32:38 paying the 20 bucks for the Plus Account
32:41 gets you early access to tools and so it
32:43 looks like that's going to
32:45 happen um
32:47 inclusion is one of our values so
32:50 inclusion you know is important for a
32:53 lot of reasons right there's there's the
32:54 basic diversity thing but there's also
32:57 inclusion
32:58 of say people who are just beginners
33:02 inclusion of people that come from
33:06 non-standard career paths right or
33:09 people that are retired or people that
33:11 are completely Reinventing themselves or
33:13 people that are starting small
33:14 businesses that have nothing to do with
33:17 AI there are still people who are
33:19 curious about this AI stuff so if you're
33:22 a complete Flatout novice this is a
33:26 community that doesn't penalize that and
33:28 that's very rare um empathy is one of
33:32 our values like really understanding
33:34 that people are afraid they might feel
33:36 like I got to figure this [ __ ] out or
33:37 I'm going to lose my job and that D they
33:40 might be angry they might be pissed off
33:42 they might not understand it they might
33:44 be fearful and angry because they don't
33:47 understand it right that's one of the
33:49 things that we see is that people that
33:51 tend to be really afraid of AI or angry
33:53 about AI actually aren't using it so
33:56 this this group The the are you know the
33:59 beginning thing we open with is play
34:03 first and then the final one is
34:05 gratitude this a community where people
34:07 can connect with one another and support
34:09 one another and then actually
34:11 acknowledge
34:12 that so I received an email from open AI
34:15 today asking me if I want to demonetize
34:17 one of my gpts oh that's
34:20 interesting are you sure it was from
34:22 open
34:24 AI did it
34:28 I wonder what that means if you want to
34:31 monetize it um it looks like uh some
34:35 some people on PO are are doing it oh
34:38 okay Andrea yeah thanks guys I'll be
34:39 cautious yeah exactly I wouldn't open it
34:42 yet to find out we heard someone say
34:44 they got emails and it wasn't yeah yeah
34:47 that doesn't sound like something you
34:48 you'd hear from open AI if they were
34:50 going to monetize gpts in open
34:53 AI

34:59 third party
35:03 yeah um one thing that I have heard is
35:06 um Lee uh lee chaston who who is one of
35:10 the authors of the AI Futures book that
35:12 I I was a contributing author
35:14 for he converted a bunch of his chat GPT
35:19 gpts into Po gpts and over on PO you can
35:24 monetize them and he said one of his
35:26 gpts over there is actually starting to
35:27 generate a little a little bit of
35:28 Revenue it's not a lot but it's starting
35:30 to generate Revenue so if you're
35:33 impatient about gpts you can you can
35:35 jump over there let me go see what Corey
35:38 put in

36:43 when um if and when uh open AI puts a
36:48 mon monetization layer on on gpts um it
36:54 it might be legit I saw that thing I

36:58 basically they've got a wallet that
36:59 allows you to um forget how it worked
37:03 someone clicks on your GPT and I think
37:05 they can do they can do ask it one
37:08 question oh no you know what you do I
37:10 think you add something to your GPT that
37:12 says in order for this GPT to work you
37:14 have to click on this link and then pay
37:16 your money and then it will continue
37:20 um the only reason it assuming it's
37:24 legit which I don't know if it is the
37:26 only reason I would hesitate on
37:28 something like that and why I'm not
37:30 doing it is I'm just going to wait for
37:32 open AI to do their thing because I
37:34 don't want to be locked into some third
37:36 party thing that just gets blown up the
37:38 minute I have

40:49 just can't get away from it it's like
40:53 it's just kind of the way it is right

41:46 decently sophisticated tool at this
41:48 point where you can make you can add
41:50 your own lyrics that you wrote in chat
41:52 GPT or you wrote on your own you can do
41:55 your own sophisticated prompts you can
41:58 extend the songs you can change lyrics
42:01 it's it's fairly
42:09 sophisticated oh use prompt for a lyric
42:12 idea that's actually a really good
42:19 idea so

1:02:59 call them chat Bots and they call it
1:03:01 artificial intelligence they call it a

1:03:08 human and when she wrote this all of a
1:03:11 sudden that hit me that that's the term
1:03:15 that why chat GPT feels not technical is
1:03:19 because what it was trained on was the
1:03:21 collective intelligence of as much stuff
1:03:24 they could pull off the public inter is
1:03:26 possible so it's yeah the Borg

1:03:31 you use chat GPT it is reflecting
1:03:33 Humanity back in your face and so that's
1:03:36 why it has this feeling of humanity so

1:04:14 using the term collective intelligence
1:04:16 is more accurate than artificial
1:04:18 intelligence with interacting with large
1:04:20 language models even though large
1:04:22 language models is technically a
1:04:25 probability because it's pre-trained on
1:04:27 the collective output of humanity it's
1:04:28 much more human experienced than
1:04:31 interacting with the bot as common
1:04:33 culture commonly describes the
1:04:35 experience act as a prize-winning writer
1:04:38 and give me an outline of a LinkedIn
1:04:40 article and then it gave me an outline
1:04:44 of an article and then I think I told it
1:04:47 I didn't like something about
1:04:51 that I did some cool research I said
1:04:54 okay great take that outline
1:05:00 and then and then I said do the please
1:05:01 do the research for me and then it did
1:05:03 the
1:05:04 research and then I think I said now
1:05:06 write the article yeah write me a draft
1:05:08 of the article and mark down so it wrote

1:05:14 it it was okay and then I said rewrite
1:05:17 this to be more conversational and first
1:05:20 person refer to my personal experience

1:06:02 that I changed the title it rewrote it

1:06:15 basically I keep so it keeps writing the
1:06:18 article I keep tweaking it adding stuff
1:06:20 but it I'm just letting it do the the
1:06:22 first draft right and then I think this
1:06:25 is probably the point at which I went
1:06:27 off and just rewrote the thing so I took
1:06:30 the
1:06:31 basic okay yeah so I took the basic the
1:06:35 basic thing that it wrote and like I cut
1:06:38 out a whole bunch of sections and I and
1:06:40 I essentially rewrote every single every
1:06:42 single
1:06:43 paragraph and then what I did after I
1:06:46 wrote so that process of getting to the
1:06:49 first draft took me I don't know 15 20
1:06:53 minutes and then when I got it to the
1:06:55 place it was okay that's decent I copied
1:06:57 and pasted that into a into a I where
1:07:00 did I do it in maybe just in the
1:07:04 LinkedIn yeah I think I just did it in
1:07:06 the LinkedIn article composer
1:07:09 tool and so I completely rewrote it and
1:07:13 then I thought oh here's an idea so I
1:07:16 said okay here's the article I rewrote
1:07:18 based on what you started and so I
1:07:21 pasted in the whole article that I wrote
1:07:24 this of how my writing style is is
1:07:27 different than what you wrote I want the
1:07:29 analys analysis to be general not topic
1:07:34 specific and then so it said you know

1:07:40 um it compared its version with my
1:07:42 revised version it it did it for
1:07:45 structure and flow it did it for what is
