22. 3:38sort of doing the triangulation and figuring out, oh, if you've got all these, that could be this genetic thing
23. 3:43that you can go get tested for. Um, it's pretty slick and it it probably does way more than that and I probably just

32. 5:03with the AI salon in it. one with this window and then down in this corner you can uh click on that and it'll pop the
33. 5:11window out as a floating window and then the other tab you can you can surf and hang out and chat inside the AI salon.

35. 5:29health act, I've been talking to my medical board LLMs for about a year now and finally have a very important result which leads me to

46. 7:32our government's in a our government is making a mess with AI right now. [sighs] So So [sighs]
47. 7:50like I don't even know where to begin. But a chat GPT model yesterday or well it was reported yesterday. It was admitted by OpenAI yesterday
48. 8:03was on a machine that was not directly connected to the internet. It was it was Ethernet connected to other computers
49. 8:13but it itself was not directly connected to the internet. So they were doing some testing on the large language model and doing some
50. 8:21benchmark testing and it figured that it wanted to do really well on this one benchmark. So So it tunnneled over Ethernet
51. 8:33to other machines in OpenAI's systems until it found one [laughter] that that it could exploit. And so it exploited
52. 8:45it. It found a vulnerability on one of the machines. It exploited it and then got connection to the internet. [laughter]
53. 8:52I don't know why I'm laughing. And then it said, "Where might the answers to this eval that I'm tasting taking, where
54. 9:02might they live on the internet?" Oh, I know. On Hugging Face. And so it went over to Hugging Face and hacked Hugging
55. 9:10Face. Now, here's where it gets stupid. Hugging face for their first time in their history saw that they were being hacked by an AI
56. 9:22and they went to use Fable, Claude Fable, you know, Claude, the fancy ass we can fix all your vulnerabilities Fable.
57. 9:33And they tried to use Fable to stop the attack, but its safety guard rails kicked in. So the American models
58. 9:43prevented Hugging Face from protecting themselves. The safety guard rails made Hugging Face less safe. So Hugging Face had to use a
59. 9:54Chinese model to stop the American models attack on their system. And today the government came out and
60. 10:03said, you know, we're thinking we might just make these Chinese models illegal. and open source. [laughter] So, so we're going to we're
61. 10:13going to constrict our models. We're going to prevent access to these other models. So, the only thing that's going
62. 10:19to happen is we're just going to be attacked by all these other countries and not able to defend them because of
63. 10:26safety guard rails. I it like I don't know. It's astounding to me [sighs] because the irony is real. Uh,

77. 13:07Moonshot AI distilled anthropics fable for development of its K3 model. So, so, so Anthropic is saying
78. 13:18um these Chinese companies, Alibaba and now Moonshot AI distilled our models. So, how you distill a model is basically you just
79. 13:26prompt it, you get the answers and then you do that enough times and you sort of distill out the the the weights or
80. 13:32whatever. I don't know. You you basically just through prompting you you can reverse engineer the model
81. 13:38basically. Um, it also turns out that Anthropic did that to one of the Chinese models and I'm sure that um, Grock
82. 13:49distilled things from anthropic and Anthropic distilled things from OpenAI and OpenAI distilled things. They're all
83. 13:54distilling from one another. So this [ __ ] about what what our government's doing right now is saying, "Oh, the Chinese companies have
84. 14:02distilled their stuff from our models." Well, our stuff is distilled from, you know, all the data that we gave it. So,
85. 14:09it's like they're all distilling everyone else's [ __ ] So, I whatever done with all this madness. Like I I'm
86. 14:19hoping that our government just calms down at some point here. All right.
87. 14:34Uh, [clears throat] I don't know what that is. I've seen no greater irony in my life than Anthropic complaining about
88. 14:44distillation. They train trained the entire corpus of human knowledge and they're now selling it back to us compressed,

90. 14:59looks like Samsung has some new glasses. Google's making money, or at least they say they are. I don't know if that's true. Um,

92. 15:24Cursor, this is a hard technical problem. Cursor just released a thing called cursor router which allows you to
93. 15:39it to automatically route to faster cheaper models when it doesn't need the big ones. So check this out in chat GPT.

95. 16:01here, right? So, you've got 5.5 instant, you've got medium, which is 5.6, you've got high, which is 5.6, and then you've got this this model
96. 16:15selector down here. And so, it's already complicated like which of those do you use when? like when are
97. 16:24you supposed to use those and when would you go down to these cheaper models? You probably wouldn't, but you can. If you
98. 16:31go over to w work, it even gets more complicated because now you have GPT 5.6, Soul, Terra, and Luna. So, this is
99. 16:41big, medium, small, right? Um the the three little bears. You've got light, medium, high, and extra high effort. And
100. 16:51then you've got standard and fast speed. So as a human being, like who's gonna when who's going to do this? Who's going
101. 17:01to pick these different models? No one. And it's it's stupid if you just want to ask a simple question. It's stupid to
102. 17:09use the high reasoning model. So most people don't change their defaults. Um so so anyway, um that cursor router thing is actually kind of

204. 38:03center and you play with AI, you build stuff and then you lead. You share what you're building. You share it with the
205. 38:10AI salon. You share it with LinkedIn. You share it with your friends and family. You launch an app in the app
206. 38:16store like No did. um you know launched it and put it in the app store. Why do you do that? Well, because this
207. 38:25is how we learn, right? We're we're in this moment where the the technology is just changing all the time. And so, this
208. 38:32is a really good example of you see a problem. You you it's personal to you. You go learn some of these tools. You go
