Description

Kyle explores how tools like ChatGPT, DALL-E, and stable diffusion are shifting power structures and democratizing expertise. These generative AI systems allow anyone to tap into skills like coding, data analysis, writing, and more with ease. We discuss how this collapse of barriers empowers people to unlock creativity they may not have realized before. Enabling rapid ideation, business launches, reinvention and more. While concerns exist, the creative potential being unleashed is remarkable. 0:07 right we're going
0:11 live going live going live going
0:16 live silver fox was
0:20 [Music]
0:29 happening
0:32 welcome welcome welcome all right I got
0:35 a lot going on
0:37 tonight got some new stuff going on oh
0:41 wait J jrc is not happy with our
0:46 comedy that's okay oh I can't okay so so
0:51 you know how I well you you may not know
0:54 so for I don't know what's it been five
0:57 months now when I go to type something
1:00 on my computer I reach in front of the
1:01 camera here and use my trackpad which
1:03 [ __ ] up all the all the uh the focus so
1:07 I have added a mouse and keyboard which
1:09 people have been asking for for like two
1:11 months so it is totally my Habit to
1:15 reach for
1:16 the the keyboard on the laptop but I'm
1:19 going to attempt to use the keyboard
1:20 down
1:22 below so there's
1:24 that I've also
1:28 got that's a little close let me squish
1:31 that out a little bit right there we go
1:34 um I've also got the World Series up I
1:37 didn't realize the the World Series on
1:39 last night people were like the baseball
1:41 games on I'm like who gives a [ __ ] I'm
1:42 like oh it's the World Series [ __ ] I
1:44 forgot what month we were
1:47 in uh so I got that going on so uh four
1:50 to one diamond backs are up four to one
1:52 in the I don't know fourth fifth third
1:54 something like that uh maybe it's more
1:58 I'm not really paying too much attention
1:59 to it
2:01 um got some I just there's a lot going
2:04 on many of you don't even know who I am
2:07 hello my name is Kyle shanon this is the
2:08 AI learning lab as evidenced by
2:11 the the uh Hedgehog with the AI learning
2:15 lab sign we've got many of these all
2:18 these images were made in do in chat
2:21 GPT and so we'll go through that um I'll
2:26 oh look see I'm I'm I'm so used to
2:30 putting my hand up on the computer it's
2:31 going to take me a while it's going to
2:33 be good but anyway we'll go make some
2:35 images um I'll answer your questions so
2:37 the way this works is be not afraid I
2:39 love that that's super cool I want to
2:41 make I want to have uh Herod um because
2:44 he's got this new Laura that does these
2:46 really cool images we should make some
2:48 custom these custom stickers for the
2:50 channel so we should talk about what to
2:51 put in there cuz those those things are
2:53 super cool I think we can do some fun
2:55 stuff there um but look how cute this is
2:59 I think Ted made this one
3:01 look cute little AI learning
3:06 lab all right so the way this works is
3:09 um you give up your Saturday
3:13 night you join me I act like an idiot
3:17 for three hours I do what I can to teach
3:19 what I can I'll answer AI questions I'll
3:22 wax poetic about the future of work the
3:25 future of AI um I'll do my best to
3:29 demystify this stuff and yeah custom
3:32 stickers I know I well I don't quite
3:34 know how to do those yet so we got to
3:35 figure that out but but this is this is
3:38 a solvable problem learning how to use
3:41 Tik Tok is a solvable problem you know
3:43 I've never done it before but I know it
3:45 can be
3:50 done so the other thing that we'll do is
3:53 if you're brand new to this
3:55 stuff and you're like but Kyle I don't
3:57 know where to start I'm just a newbie
3:59 I'm not very technical everyone's going
4:01 to think I'm weird if I do AI [ __ ] we'll
4:03 get you started we'll we'll calm we'll
4:06 calm the waters a little bit if you're
4:08 afraid of this stuff you do not need to
4:11 be a technologist in fact um I have a
4:14 degree in
4:17 acting now uh I have been a tech
4:20 entrepreneur for a bunch of years so my
4:22 current gig is I'm the founder and CEO
4:24 of a company called storyvine which is
4:25 an automated video storytelling platform
4:28 and um
4:30 you know I've started lots of companies
4:32 I also started a company in the mid90s
4:34 called agency.com which was one of the
4:36 early digital agencies and why I bring
4:38 that up is the early days of the
4:40 worldwide web and the early days of this
4:42 generative AI stuff very very similar
4:46 vilar
4:48 vilar uh I also think I'm going to need
4:50 to go change my shirt I can't read the
4:51 comments on
4:54 it good Heavens now I have no
4:59 comments D audio
5:02 visual television
5:05 production Jennifer L are you in audio
5:08 video television production or you're
5:10 marveling at the quality of audio video
5:12 television production on this Tik Tok
5:14 Channel I know it's impressive I don't
5:17 like to brag but you know when you got
5:18 it you got it the uh the the the network
5:23 people have been calling but I you know
5:26 I don't want to lower myself to their
5:28 standards okay so I'm going to change my
5:30 shirt and then we'll come back we'll get
5:32 started so I'll get you up and running
5:34 on on where to start what to do in fact
5:37 I'll pop that up while I go change my
5:41 shirt let's get let's get something
5:43 going here let's get something going all
5:47 right um okay actually this is what we
5:49 can do so this is
5:54 the um the community that this live is
5:57 is kind of a subset of is a Community I
6:00 started it's coming up on our oneye
6:03 anniversary called the AI Salon where
6:05 we're all on a you look good in Black
6:07 thank you well I think the the letters
6:09 look better on black so let me go do
6:11 that so anyway go to the salon. it's a
6:14 link tree there um you can read all
6:17 about what the salon's about in fact let
6:27 me you can read there too let's see how
6:30 do I do this I go
6:33 rip there you
6:36 go it's not quite there anyway read that
6:41 the salon is a rag tag group of M
6:43 Misfits go check out the salon. there's
6:46 a Meetup there um there's our values
6:48 there which I'll go through in a bit and
6:50 then I will walk you through um where to
6:53 start with this AI stuff if you have
6:55 never done this before so just hang out
6:57 I'll be right
6:58 back
7:04 [Music]
7:15 be little
7:17 CH you cute little boo
7:20 boo you are cute little
7:28 boo
7:45 all right I went Fender Fender wow oh
7:49 yeah all all right welcome
7:53 everybody okay so
7:56 let's let's do some stuff here let's get
8:00 you started if you are trying to figure
8:02 out but Kyle Kyle hey Kyle Kyle listen
8:08 where do I start what do I do Kyle where
8:11 do I start oh that's the other thing I
8:13 did look how clean that screen is I
8:15 cleaned all the water the fingerprints
8:17 off my screen cuz cuz I love you
8:20 all and I had a moment of add
8:27 productivity um have you heard of
8:28 autogen if you have how significant do
8:31 you believe autonomous agents will be
8:34 yeah uh I have heard of it I think
8:36 autonomous agents are going to be all
8:38 the rage in 2024 I think they're going
8:41 to be huge and um we're we're already
8:44 starting to see some hints of that
8:48 behavior in chat GPT if you have played
8:51 with Advanced Data analysis or if you've
8:54 played with DOI there is prompting going
8:57 on without you having to do prompting so
8:59 it is starting to prompt itself so
9:01 there's hints of that already um I'll
9:03 talk about that in a sec but before we
9:05 get into more advanced stuff if you're
9:07 just brand new to generative AI if
9:11 you're like but Kyle I don't know where
9:13 to start what do I do what site's the
9:14 best just go to the one that's in yellow
9:16 chat
9:17 gbt chat. open.com they're the ones that
9:20 started this whole mess November 30th of
9:24 last year we're coming up on the
9:25 one-year anniversary of the launch of
9:27 chat
9:28 gbt um I think that will Mark a seminal
9:31 moment in history an inflection point
9:33 where everything um after that point was
9:36 not the same and uh anyone who's in this
9:40 channel that comes here regularly I got
9:43 I got it my first Tom Arnold of the
9:44 evening thank you for Christopher
9:47 Ramsey I haven't got I haven't gotten a
9:49 Rosie O'Donnell in a while so so I'll
9:52 take the I'll take the Tom
9:55 Arnolds um but yeah I'm I'm I'm Tom
9:59 Arnold and I know AI
10:03 um but uh but yeah but chat GPT is the
10:06 one the one to start playing with just
10:08 go there and start playing if you don't
10:09 know at all what to do you can go to
10:11 that that URL down at the bottom there
10:13 prompt. chat um that's kind of a little
10:16 primer on how to talk to these things
10:18 and it gives you some some starting
10:19 points with prompts um it's pretty good
10:22 little document and that'll get you
10:24 started but just go there and start
10:25 asking it anything um it it kind of will
10:29 look on its surface like a Google search
10:32 box um but it is way more than a than a
10:36 fancy Google and um I was in Rosie's
10:40 feet and told her she looks like Kyle
10:41 Shannon that's the perfect that's oh my
10:45 God I listen I think it's important that
10:49 that rather than you know saying I look
10:53 like a celebrity we should really let
10:55 the celebrities know that they look like
10:57 me I like it I think it's solid
11:00 you know enough of them being on top you
11:02 know I'm a celebrity in my own
11:06 mind um all right so other things to
11:11 look at here these these four um large
11:14 language models Chachi PT Claude Bard
11:17 and Bing these are kind of the big four
11:19 I call this the adult table um Chachi PT
11:23 in my opinion is the one you should
11:24 spend most of your time on however
11:26 Claude is is a really good alternative
11:29 one of the things Claude does that chat
11:30 GPT can't is it's got a really large
11:35 what they call a context window
11:37 basically just means it's got a large
11:38 memory you can put a really large
11:40 document in Claude and it can read it so
11:42 for example if you've written a novel
11:46 and it's like a 50,000-word novel you
11:48 can put it into CLA and have it write
11:49 the last chapter for you uh and and it
11:53 just will because it can it's got it can
11:55 do about 75,000 words in its in its
11:58 memory compared to chat GPT which right
12:01 now can do about 3,000 words right so
12:03 it's significantly bigger memory and
12:05 then Bard and Bing are both connected to
12:07 the internet Bard is from Google it's
12:10 pretty good but not great it's pretty
12:11 good at coding and then
12:15 um they're about to launch a thing
12:17 called Gemini that's going to make it
12:20 amazing and apparently that was supposed
12:22 to happen in the month of October which
12:23 we're we're almost at the end of so it
12:25 might be might be next week as a
12:27 possibility let's see I am a something
12:31 dog trainer wait the could whoever just
12:33 pinned the dog trainer thing uh repin it
12:35 cuz I lost it I lost it lost it lost
12:41 it oh wait got to go to my other
12:49 keyboard
12:51 beautiful all
12:55 [Music]
12:57 right so those are the Big L M let's
13:00 let's get you some more to play with um
13:02 here's kind of the next four down I'm
13:04 Mando dog trainer I AIO dog trainer I
13:08 want clients to be able to ask basic
13:11 questions based on my
13:16 ideology all right we could do that oh
13:18 walking blue okay good walking blue you
13:21 you uh walking blue in my little
13:23 announcement of the live tonight said
13:25 can I ask a basic question I'm like yeah
13:26 of course um
13:29 so you want your clients to be able to
13:31 ask basic questions based on your
13:34 ideology is mandio
13:38 a place or a dog training ideology and
13:41 I'm not I'm not joking I actually don't
13:43 know um let's go to chat GPT and
13:56 ask hm
14:01 is mondio a dog training philosophy or a
14:06 location and I know I could ask walking
14:08 blue
14:09 but we have cat
14:12 [Laughter]
14:15 gbt oh it's a dog sport it's not a
14:19 philosophy man mondioring is an
14:22 internationally recognized protection
14:24 sport for
14:28 dogs where's my mouse where's my
14:34 mouse look I'm not I'm not reaching in
14:36 front of the camera anymore people this
14:39 is a change this is a
14:42 change um dogs are tested in three areas
14:44 obedience agility and protection
14:47 competitions are structured in such a
14:49 way that exercises may change okay
14:54 cool all
14:57 right so I'm going to show you I'm going
15:00 to show you for the AI Salon what's the
15:03 URL it's called it's the URL for the
15:05 salon
15:07 is hang
15:13 on there you go the salon.
15:17 A and that'll take you to a link tree
15:21 and the top three links are the most
15:23 important ones the first one is about
15:25 the salon tell you about what we're
15:26 about what our values are which I'll go
15:28 over in a sec
15:29 and then the second one is a link to the
15:31 Meetup we meet every two weeks we have
15:34 an in-person meeting here in Denver and
15:36 then the rest of the people can meet
15:38 online and then um we've got an online
15:42 Discord
15:43 server where you can hang out basically
15:47 join the
15:49 community um I don't know if I need to
15:52 create a Persona yeah so I'm going to
15:54 I'm going to show you we're going to
15:55 walk through this walking walking
15:58 blue
15:59 and and I'm actually going to use chat
16:01 gbt here to help do this so so I just
16:03 asked what what mondio was
16:07 manding is is shorten mondio is a dog
16:10 sport it's not a philosophy or location
16:13 okay so here's what I'm going to do I'm
16:14 going to
16:15 say please act as a
16:19 mondio
16:20 expert and I want you to
16:26 create a Persona of yourself and what
16:29 your expertise
16:35 is see I just reached into the cam into
16:38 the camera lens
16:46 there okay I'm going to say stop
16:48 generating it's not quite what I
16:52 wanted I don't want you to create a
16:54 fictitious character I just
16:56 want a description of
17:00 someone who's expert at this and what
17:02 their expertise
17:04 is and by the way what I'm using there
17:07 to to talk to my Mac is just normal
17:10 accessibility stuff um on the Mac so I'm
17:13 not I'm not using that's not anything
17:15 within um chat
17:27 gbt
17:35 I want a resource for owners to get
17:37 instant answers to basic questions when
17:39 I can't do it yep we're going to get
17:41 there walking blue so so what I'm going
17:43 to teach you what I'm doing right now is
17:45 I'm in chat GPT kind of creating this
17:47 Persona um and then I'm going to also uh
17:52 have it uh give a little bit about how
17:55 it should respond when someone someone's
17:58 talking to it it's missing the point
18:00 missing the point
18:03 how well let me just show you how to do
18:06 it and then you can you can do this on
18:07 your own thank you Clint Copperhead I
18:09 appreciate that level 20 for Clint
18:12 fantastic I'm tell him what he's won you
18:15 could make money
18:16 with okay so so let me just let me just
18:20 do it here without without it being you
18:22 know fully correct oh that's Ford
18:26 mondio it totally it totally got it
18:29 wrong it got okay hang
18:32 on no you gave me expertise
18:37 wait no you gave me expertise about a
18:40 car I want m o n d
18:44 IO o as
18:52 the as the persona's expertise just make
18:57 it a single paragraph with all without
19:00 all of
19:01 the extra
19:08 sections here's a condensed description
19:10 amandio
19:13 expert years of hands-on experience they
19:16 put us extensive knowledge and training
19:18 techniques okay
19:24 um now if I were to create a bot
19:29 that were to answer questions about
19:32 mondio I need to have the bot respond in
19:35 a certain way so what I'd like you to
19:39 create is a prompt that I'll put in the
19:42 bot that starts with act as a mandio
19:46 trainer and when someone asks a
19:49 question respond with a certain set of
19:53 rules my God is it missing the spelling
19:55 of that m o n d i
19:57 o
20:00 let's see
20:03 this prompt act as a mondio mondioring
20:08 trainer when answering questions always
20:10 prioritize the safety of both dogs and
20:12 handlers emphasize the importance of
20:15 positive reinforcement highlight so this
20:18 is this is where you'd put in
20:21 your um you know your philosophy your
20:24 things address queries with patience and
20:25 ensure The Inquirer feels understood
20:28 draw upon real world examples stay
20:31 updated okay so I'm going to take this
20:34 I'm just going to copy this and I'm
20:36 going to show
20:38 you how we're going to how we're going
20:40 to go play so right now I'm on chat GPT
20:44 now I'm going to flip over to a new site
20:46 called
20:49 po and so this is po so PO is kind of
20:51 like chaty PT except po has something
20:54 about it that's that's really special
20:56 where you can create a bot
21:00 and publish that bot and you can even
21:02 monetize it they they just added
21:04 monetization to these bots so you can
21:06 you can charge for these now from what I
21:09 understand I haven't set one up I've
21:10 built a bunch of these things but what
21:12 we're going to do the the way this works
21:15 is so you can go play with other
21:17 people's Bots and in fact I wonder let's
21:20 let's go to
21:22 explore and see if
21:25 there's there's cooking AI learning
21:28 professional advice funny games travel
21:30 Sports utilities
21:32 programming and I guess professional
21:35 might be the way to do this oh search
21:37 for Bots let's
21:39 see m o n d i
21:43 o okay there's no mandio bot in there
21:46 that's that's a good sign so yours will
21:48 be unique but I'm going to put in
21:51 dog
21:57 dogs
22:00 just trying to see if there's any Bots
22:02 from dog trainers let me put in dog
22:04 training
22:07 dog
22:10 training dog trainer
22:13 AI all right so here we have a bot a dog
22:16 training assistant designed to give dog
22:18 owners the necessary knowledge and tools
22:21 that will allow them to cultivate a
22:23 healthy relationship with their dogs how
22:25 can I help you with your dog
22:27 today
22:29 my dog is a thug and even though he just
22:33 wants to play with people he barks
22:35 aggressively at them and even though
22:38 it's a cliche he attacks the male as
22:41 it's being put through the slot and all
22:43 of our mail is constantly shredded what
22:46 do I
22:50 do that is not a
22:53 lie I did not make that up um here are
22:57 suggestion seek professional
23:02 help okay so there's a bot in here but
23:06 we're going to create a
23:07 bot and so when when you go create bot
23:10 here you can put in a picture so you can
23:12 put in a picture of your dog or yourself
23:14 and then um you name the bot so I'm just
23:18 going to put
23:20 um you know uh let's see
23:24 I
23:27 train
23:32 dogs and then we're going to select so
23:35 so you put in a
23:38 prompt and so I'm going to paste in that
23:41 prompt that we
23:42 made encourage a deep bond and then I'm
23:45 going to say um I'll leave it like that
23:48 I'll just leave it where it is act as a
23:49 mandio trainer and then there's there's
23:51 our rules so you can make your own rules
23:53 up so this this could be your philosophy
23:55 here right um You can you can decide
23:59 whether or not you want to show The
24:00 Prompt in the bot so I'm going to turn
24:02 that off cuz we don't want to show The
24:03 Prompt we don't want to show the secret
24:05 sauce
24:08 um then let's see where's the
24:13 model oh the Bas spot so the base spot
24:17 right here is which model it is so I
24:19 would go to gp4 but you could use other
24:22 ones in fact let
24:24 me make this bigger so we can all see it
24:33 so here are the different models um chat
24:37 GPT and Claude instant are both very
24:40 fast chat GPT 4 just gives better
24:43 answers and then we're going to say
24:46 greeting message so I'll
24:50 say my name is walking blue and I am an
24:55 expert mondio trainer in the spot
24:58 is here to serve as your guide when I'm
25:02 not available ask any questions you want
25:06 about
25:07 training
25:09 and let me know if this doesn't give you
25:13 what you
25:16 need and then we're going to change this
25:19 to
25:24 Mondo and let's
25:27 see
25:30 so we'll
25:32 say this bot will answer any questions
25:35 you have
25:38 about training your
25:41 dog all right make bot publicly
25:45 available yes monetization so this is
25:47 new visit visit creators in the menu and
25:52 you can monetize it and then here's your
25:54 little preview so one thing we might
25:56 want to do here
25:59 let's let's take this to the next level
26:02 people um let's go
26:07 over so now we're in chat gbt we're
26:09 going to make a little image for this
26:11 thing so I'm going to go down to
26:14 doll3 which is the image generation tool
26:17 is there a way to override chat
26:20 chbt is there a way to override what
26:23 chat GPT may
26:25 offer I don't know what you mean by that
26:29 you can write whatever you want in the
26:30 bot that we're
26:32 creating oh is there a way to make it
26:34 like super specific like it's a it's
26:36 only going to answer what you want it to
26:37 answer I don't you'll have to experiment
26:39 with that um without do you could do
26:42 that with programming but I'm just
26:43 trying to give you a quick way that you
26:45 could you could create this bot tonight
26:47 like right now um so I'm going to go
26:49 create an image for this so let's do um
26:55 image
26:57 of
27:01 um trainer and his I don't know if it's
27:05 his
27:08 dog
27:10 um oops I said fog
27:14 dog
27:20 closeup meaning create the answers that
27:23 I want the client to hear yeah you can
27:26 well so what you can put into the um
27:30 what you can put into that bot
27:32 description I just had where where what
27:34 I put in there were kind of generic
27:35 things like you know say the dog is safe
27:38 you can put in specific things for it to
27:40 say but what you can't control is what
27:42 people are asking if you just want to do
27:44 a thing where they can sort of pick from
27:46 a list of
27:47 questions um then then you C then you
27:50 could do that but um you kind of lose
27:54 the spontaneity of being able to ask at
27:57 anything thing so I'm going to say copy
28:00 do I want copy image there no I want to
28:02 save it so I'm going to save this image
28:07 as let's see
28:11 dog desktop
28:16 save and then I'm going to hop back over
28:18 to PO and we're going to go add an image
28:22 up here at the
28:24 top so I'm going to go to my desktop and
28:26 get my little dog picture
28:29 and there it is there there's our little
28:31 dude and dog trainer and so now I'm
28:33 going to create the bot so this is I
28:35 train
28:36 dogs
28:39 so as soon as this publishes assuming it
28:42 does all right so if all of you right
28:45 now want to go to po.com poe.com
28:49 itrain dogs this bot is live you can go
28:53 ask this questions right now so what is
28:57 my
28:58 IO and
29:01 can can my older mut be
29:07 trained mondioring is an abbreviated as
29:10 mondio it's a sport developed in France
29:15 da so here's the bot doing all the
29:17 answering as for your older mut
29:19 mondioring is a sport that requires a
29:21 high level of physical and mental
29:22 Fitness if your dog is in good health no
29:25 my dog is Tubby like me
29:29 and with a sound temperament no my dog
29:31 can't do
29:32 this however it's highly recommended
29:35 that you get a full health checkup it's
29:37 worth mentioning that while mixed breed
29:38 this actually you know large thing um
29:43 let's see uh let's
29:46 [Music]
29:47 go what is the first skill that you will
29:50 train my dog to
29:56 do I train
30:00 dogs come on I train dogs what are you
30:04 doing what are you going to do with my
30:15 dog can you
30:17 create a philosophy with my answers yeah
30:20 so so that's what unable to reach post
30:23 let me just retry this and see if it it
30:25 goes again it looks like it it just had
30:28 a hiccup um but anyway so this is now a
30:30 functional bot so let me go back in here
30:32 so so walking blue you can type in
30:35 anything you want in here
30:37 so all right when mon earing training
30:40 first thing we'll have it do is sit down
30:43 just like it so now it's writing the
30:45 answers of what it's going to train the
30:46 dog okay so let me start that
30:49 conversation
30:51 over so I'm going to go back to the um
30:56 settings
30:58 and in this
31:00 prompt right where what I what I had
31:02 chat GPT right was so I had it right you
31:05 know act as a mondioring trainer when
31:08 answering questions always prioritize
31:10 safety emphasize the importance of
31:13 positive reinforcement right so here's
31:14 the rules this is where you would type
31:17 in your
31:18 philosophy so you'd basically say My
31:21 Philosophy with this is all of the
31:24 following things when responding to
31:26 someone's questions about this be sure
31:28 to you know be sure to incorporate
31:31 my PO has overloaded took me to
31:36 Bard po has overload it took you to Bard
31:39 that's really weird try it again just go
31:40 to po.com
31:42 itrain dogs it should
31:48 work um but yeah so basically you just
31:51 you just put your philosophy in here and
31:53 then you know at the end you say
31:56 um let's let's see how would we do
31:59 this these are my philosophies and
32:02 please make sure that you incorporate
32:06 them into the
32:08 answers if they are
32:11 applicable or something like that right
32:15 and so so this prompt will tell the bot
32:18 how to behave so this is where you'd put
32:20 in your philosophy so it's your Bot you
32:22 can do anything you want with it and so
32:24 I would just keep experimenting with it
32:26 so what you'll do is you'll put in a
32:28 prompt you'll have it start doing you
32:31 know you you can start playing with it
32:32 immediately look at the answers if it's
32:35 not giving you the answers that you want
32:36 you go back in and change the rules and
32:38 say you know never do this always do
32:41 this things like that so you can
32:42 absolutely do it what's what's rough
32:45 about creating bots so historically if
32:48 you wanted to create a bot what you'd
32:49 have to do is you would essentially have
32:51 to anticipate all of the things that
32:53 people might ask and you would have to
32:55 write all of the different answers for
32:57 them and then it's just a a big giant
32:59 logic tree if they ask this then answer
33:03 this if they ask this then answer that
33:05 and it's and it was incredibly timec
33:07 consuming what the power of large
33:10 language models is is they've got a ton
33:11 of this knowledge in there already so
33:13 what you can do is just put in your
33:15 philosophy here and say make sure that
33:18 when you're answering the questions
33:19 filter It Through My Philosophy but then
33:22 people can ask anything they want and
33:24 this bot will provide good answers you
33:26 could even put something in there if
33:27 they ask something not related to dogs
33:30 or this particular kind of training just
33:32 tell them that you're a you know you're
33:34 a bot that that focus on focuses on this
33:37 specific thing and to get back on track
33:40 basically all
33:41 right so that's that I hope that helps
33:45 all right the advantage of a bot to a
33:48 business owner to see the questions
33:49 people ask or to provide service oh is
33:54 it um the one thing that I don't know
33:57 about Poots is if you've got access to
34:02 all the to your Bot usage and what
34:04 people
34:07 ask open po faster with our new desktop
34:10 app okay I'm not interested in that so
34:13 here's my
34:15 bots so now I've got I trained dogs Yay
34:20 see all the chats with this bot oh yeah
34:26 look
34:32 now I don't know if that's just my chats
34:34 with
34:40 [Music]
34:44 this let me go to let me go to one of my
34:47 other Bots that's been around for a
34:48 while I've got I am Shakespeare is one
34:50 of my bots see all chats with this
34:56 bot
35:08 yeah I don't know I don't know that that
35:10 would be something to look into to see
35:12 if there's if there's if you can look at
35:14 you know what people have asked that are
35:16 not you it's possible anyway there you
35:19 go all right that should get youell in
35:21 up and running you only see
35:23 your oh you only see your chats okay all
35:27 right so at some point po might get
35:29 there the other thing you can play with
35:31 is there's a site called zappier where
35:33 you can make your own Bots and I know
35:34 with zappier you can definitely write
35:36 things into a spreadsheet into a
35:38 database so you could get that sort of
35:40 information all right that was a little
35:42 rabbit hole there so hope that hope that
35:45 was helpful let's get back to let's get
35:47 back to this stuff um so um I was
35:51 talking about if you want to get started
35:53 with this stuff where do you start start
35:55 with chat BT um Claude art and Bing are
35:58 also big and
36:00 important um piie is a really
36:04 interesting one um because it's designed
36:06 to be a conversational bot by the way it
36:09 is
36:11 7:1 um diamond backs in the World Series
36:15 um PO is the one we just went over
36:18 that's the one where you can make Bots
36:19 and then perplexity is a good kind of
36:21 research thing the the conversational
36:24 bot with pi is really interesting let me
36:26 let me pull it up
36:30 here so I've got Pi it's just like a a
36:33 normal
36:34 um like chatbot just like chat gbt but
36:38 in the lower right hand corner is this
36:40 little phone icon if I click it or tap
36:46 it oh
36:50 wait hang on I've got my volume down I
36:54 smell a plot twist spill the tea what's
36:56 up
37:00 hey who's uh winning in the Arizona
37:03 Diamondbacks game right now and what's
37:05 the
37:08 [Music]
37:15 score the Diamondbacks are leading the
37:18 game with a score of 56 in the seventh
37:20 inning against the Texas Rangers the
37:23 game is shaping up to be quite the
37:25 nailbiter with both teams putting up a
37:28 good fight Gabriel Moreno of the
37:30 Diamondbacks hit a solo home run in the
37:33 fourth inning while Mitch Garver of the
37:35 Rangers got his team on the board with a
37:37 run in the fifth inning this game is
37:40 going to be a close one so buckle up and
37:42 enjoy the
37:43 ride I'm pretty sure you were talking
37:45 about last night's game tonight's
37:47 Saturday and the game's live right
37:52 now she
37:56 hallucinated
37:59 oh snap you caught me apologies for that
38:02 slip up you're right last night's game
38:04 was quite the doozy but you're
38:06 absolutely right that the game today is
38:08 live the score as of now is Diamond Back
38:11 71 Rangers that's definitely shaping up
38:13 to so so that's Pi so Pi's designed very
38:16 much to be a conversational bot like
38:19 she's like oh snap you got me all that
38:22 sort of stuff is it's a little off ping
38:26 initially um but that's all the IOS app
38:28 of piie it's it it very much is going to
38:31 represent the future of these things
38:34 Kyle
38:35 as as Matthew Perry your
38:39 friends what oh wait Kyle oh ask about
38:42 Matthew Perry your friends yeah it
38:43 should know it I know he just passed
38:46 which is really
38:49 sad have you heard any news about
38:51 Matthew Perry from
38:56 Friends
38:59 [Music]
39:01 Matthew Perry who played the iconic
39:03 character Chandler Bing on the hit show
39:05 Friends tragically passed away at the
39:07 age of 54 according to several news
39:10 outlets it's reported that he was found
39:13 unresponsive in a hot so so yes and and
39:17 so now Pi's been connected to the
39:20 internet for a while but they just made
39:22 another announcement about it about it
39:24 being connected to the internet I have a
39:26 feeling they they dramatically increase
39:28 the speed or something like that so the
39:31 fact that it's it's able to go you know
39:33 go out search the internet get relevant
39:37 information take that relevant
39:38 information send it back to a large
39:41 language Model turn that into
39:42 conversational chat synthesize that and
39:45 answer your question in about a second
39:48 and a half is absolutely
39:50 remarkable um I know I know it's very
39:53 sad is it just it just happened the
39:55 Matthew Perry thing so so that's
39:57 actually really good um a really good
39:59 example of of um you know that thing
40:04 being truly connected to the
40:06 internet
40:08 so it having a conversation with pi is
40:12 something I would just encourage you to
40:14 do because
40:16 it's it's just it's just not like any
40:18 other it's not like Siri and Alexa at
40:21 all you can talk to it about anything
40:24 you can have it create a game you can
40:26 ask it about news you can you can have
40:29 it teach you things you can um you know
40:32 ask about books you haven't read or or
40:34 movies you haven't seen um it it does
40:38 sometimes hallucinate but they all do um
40:41 but but it's really worth worth looking
40:43 at um okay for image creation take a
40:47 take a screenshot of this one so Dolly 3
40:49 is now built into chat GPT I think the
40:53 20 bucks a month for chat GPT plus is an
40:56 absolute bargain right now the amount of
40:58 features you get in it are staggeringly
41:00 good um Mid journey is still the best in
41:03 terms of sophistication of art but it's
41:06 really really close right now and I got
41:08 to say that creating images within dolli
41:13 3 is a GameChanger it's you don't like
41:16 mid Journey you have to go to Discord Be
41:18 not Afraid thank you so much for the
41:20 Roses I really appreciate the gifts they
41:21 make a big difference thank you to Ricky
41:23 Tiki Tabby Sherry day thank you so much
41:26 y'all are amazing thank you um Pate why
41:30 is it Google versus Microsoft but Amazon
41:33 and apple aren't in the mix um so Amazon
41:37 is getting there Amazon just invested uh
41:42 up to $4 billion in anthropics so I
41:45 mentioned Claude
41:47 before this guy um Amazon about a month
41:52 ago invested $1.4 billion with an option
41:56 to invest up to $4 billion and today or
42:00 yesterday um Google announced they're
42:03 putting $2 billion in it so so that's
42:06 really interesting to me because you now
42:09 have two major Cloud providers right you
42:11 have AWS on Amazon and you've got Google
42:14 Cloud so one's putting in two billion
42:17 one's putting in four billion which
42:19 cloud is this thing going to live on I
42:20 don't know and and you know maybe it it
42:23 means that um you know both of them are
42:27 vying to buy this so so the company
42:30 behind Claud is a company called
42:32 anthropic and it's um found its Founders
42:36 are exop AI people right so this team is
42:40 the team that helped create gpt3 which
42:43 is you know what chat GPT was built on
42:46 right initially um so so these are two
42:50 major competitors so you've got
42:52 Microsoft and open Ai and now you've got
42:54 AWS Amazon and Google making major
42:58 investments into Claud so so these are
43:00 going to be really interesting um AWS is
43:04 humongus or hug mongus humongous yeah
43:08 exactly um
43:10 Apple purportedly spent
43:13 $22.4 billion on R&D this year the bulk
43:18 of that spending was on generative AI
43:20 from from what the Rumor Mill says
43:25 um apple is going to be a major player
43:30 in this space but what I what I predict
43:33 is that they won't necessarily call it
43:36 AI um notice that when they launched
43:40 their Vision Pro goggles they didn't use
43:42 the word metaverse once they also didn't
43:45 use the term AI
43:48 once they redefined the categoria
43:51 spatial Computing they talked about this
43:53 new R1 chip in The Vision Pro go Les
43:57 which stands for reality one and what it
43:59 is is a massively powerful machine
44:02 learning um processing chip so you're
44:06 going to be able to do massive amounts
44:08 of machine learning on device on Apple
44:11 devices um I upload an image into chat
44:13 GPT and ask it to describe then I ask Di
44:16 and Firefly to create it yep it's great
44:19 way to play with those things yep so
44:22 Christopher Ramsey I'll I'll show that
44:23 that's that's a really
44:25 good m Siri died down um I'll uh I'll
44:30 I'll play with that uh in a second here
44:33 um but Apple's going to be a major
44:34 player in this I think where Apple's
44:36 going to be big is with autonomous
44:38 agents someone earlier asked about
44:39 autonomous agents so autonomous agents
44:42 right now you go to chat GPT and you ask
44:45 it a question and it gives you an answer
44:48 but if you have played with
44:51 um uh Advanced Data analysis with chat
44:54 GPT you tell it hey could you please go
44:56 look at this file that I just uploaded
45:00 and tell me about the data in it and it
45:03 starts prompting itself and it starts
45:05 writing its own python code and
45:07 executing its own python code you
45:10 basically just sit back and watch it
45:12 same with Dolly 3 where you say hey um
45:18 you know I'm thinking about putting
45:20 together a logo for this kind of
45:21 business can you give me four different
45:23 ideas and then it goes off and it writes
45:26 it own prompts and then it generates the
45:28 images for you so those are two examples
45:32 right now you can play with today that
45:34 are kind of a hint of where this stuff
45:35 is going so now imagine you know on your
45:39 Apple device you you they have whatever
45:42 the equivalent of Siri is if they're
45:43 going to change Siri out and you say you
45:46 know hey I I want to go to Mexico in the
45:49 next three months can you go find me
45:51 prices and then if they're good if
45:54 they're under this amount just buy me
45:56 the best ticket and it will know your
45:58 preferences and it will just go off and
46:00 take action on your behalf whatever
46:02 you've given it permission for and it
46:04 will just go book your tickets and then
46:06 it'll come back and say okay I got those
46:07 tickets here they are and you're like oh
46:10 no um you booked them for 6:00 in the
46:12 morning I I can't go until the afternoon
46:14 on that day can you change those out
46:16 sure thing boss off it'll go and do that
46:18 thing can I build a team of autonomous
46:20 agents um right
46:23 now there there are tools like autog GPT
46:26 and and um some of the stuff you can do
46:29 with Lang chain and and um there's one
46:33 called Baby AGI there there's a bunch of
46:35 them out there that you could you could
46:37 start to play with that yes they're not
46:40 great um within the chat within the open
46:44 AI
46:45 API there's a thing called actions So
46:48 within the open AI API you could build
46:51 basically a chatbot that does take
46:53 actions so it's in the documentation
46:56 right now to be able to make your own
46:58 autonomous agents so the answer is
47:01 yes if the question is can you do that
47:03 easily right now without coding the
47:06 answer is
47:07 no but the infrastructure for it's there
47:11 be Not Afraid thank you so much I really
47:12 appreciate that um the uh the the uh the
47:16 gifts and things make a mean a lot they
47:18 make a big difference I appreciate that
47:20 let me pop over here I don't have
47:23 Discord up anymore which uh okay nothing
47:28 going on there good great
47:31 okay let's see oh thank you very much y
47:34 sweet yes sweet yes s swe
47:37 swe okay what else was I saying okay um
47:40 image creation those are the biggies
47:42 Dolly mid Journey Leonardo and Firefly
47:45 um Leonardo if you like flipping
47:47 switches there's all sorts of
47:49 configuration stuff you can do with
47:50 Leonardo it's built on top of stable
47:52 diffusion if you like if you like making
47:55 images but you work in a corporation
47:57 that's skittery about AI use the Adobe
48:00 products Adobe Firefly those have not
48:02 been trained on copywritten images uh
48:05 which means they're not it's not as good
48:08 the quality of images for Adobe Firefly
48:10 Stop's not as good but it's good and
48:12 getting
48:13 better what Adobe has also done is
48:16 they're supporting artists they're
48:17 letting artists opt out of being trained
48:20 opt into being
48:23 trained Kyle hello hello am I
48:30 back camera di no I don't know it just
48:34 no it wasn't abducted it was abducted my
48:38 my fear was that uh that I got booted
48:41 because I said some trigger word that
48:43 Tik Tok didn't like I think it was just
48:45 bad bad uh bad internet um all right
48:50 here's the video creation stuff video
48:52 creation stuff right now kind of sucks
48:55 um it's really janky all this stuff's
48:58 really janky bad juju the eclipse yeah
49:02 exactly um the three on the left Runway
49:04 Moon Valley and pabs are all was Siri
49:08 jealous again she probably took me out
49:11 yeah exactly iOS is janky Tik tok's
49:13 janky they're all [ __ ] janky right
49:15 now um Runway Moon Valley and P laabs
49:18 are all kind of of the same ilk they're
49:19 sort of text to video image to video
49:22 pabs right now seems to be the one that
49:25 that is people are getting the best
49:27 quality from um but they're all worth
49:29 exploring if you want to play with this
49:31 stuff none of these things are free and
49:34 a lot of them are not super cheap if you
49:36 want to just make thousands of hours of
49:38 video it's expensive right now so you'd
49:40 be better off installing and learning
49:42 the stable diffusion stuff where you can
49:44 do some video things um Visa allows you
49:47 to generate kind of scripted video
49:51 montages where where it sticks um stock
49:54 video together
49:56 hey Jen and did do voice synthesis and
49:59 animation of faces so those are worth
50:03 playing with here are some audio and
50:06 music ones 11 lab for voice synthesis
50:08 and then refusion and sound draw for
50:11 music are good so take a screenshot of
50:14 that pausing for screenshots how do I
50:17 take a screenshot again I don't know hit
50:19 the
50:21 buttons do do we have video people in
50:24 here we've got Herod who's in here who's
50:27 a mod and is also on the AI Salon
50:30 Discord um is doing a lot of video stuff
50:33 um I've got a guy that I met at the last
50:36 Salon who I think we're going to have
50:38 come speak at the salon is also doing
50:40 video stuff doing music videos he's a
50:42 musician for a lot of years and he's
50:44 been doing music videos um so there's a
50:46 fair amount of people in there
50:49 um what about creating a website cam
50:51 katkin from Cleveland um I'll show you
50:54 that in a second so Vicky shared shared
50:56 with me um a new a new tool that is text
51:02 to webflow or webflow no not web flow um
51:07 what is it
51:09 um hang
51:11 [Music]
51:21 on here it is zip
51:24 WP a WordPress
51:26 site I always confuse WordPress and
51:30 webflow create a create
51:32 a WordPress site in 60 seconds so
51:35 basically you just describe your website
51:37 and it builds you a site and then she
51:41 actually shared with me the site that it
51:44 made and it
51:46 is
51:48 here so welcome to Tony's terrific
51:51 Turtle so this is this WordPress site
51:54 was built with a text prompt
52:04 I mean good
52:07 Lord here's the about
52:09 section and obviously you know you'd
52:12 need to go in and and personalize this
52:15 but you know we're we're moving to a
52:18 place we're moving into an era of hyper
52:22 personalization that oh the other cool
52:25 thing so so this is really important so
52:27 so check this out so I'm in if you
52:30 haven't been in Discord before this is
52:32 the AI Salon Discord so I mentioned
52:34 before that that this channel is kind of
52:36 part of this larger Community called the
52:37 AI
52:38 Salon the AI Salon Discord this these
52:41 are all different communities this is
52:43 the AI Salon one and within it there's
52:44 all these different channels right and
52:46 one of the things we have in here is
52:47 we've got guilds so we've got an Art
52:49 Guild and a writer's Guild and AO AI 101
52:53 if you're just getting started or if you
52:54 want to help teach other people
52:56 um we've got business guilds
52:57 entrepreneur guilds um Pate from Google
53:00 has created the mechanics Guild if you
53:02 want to talk about crap under the hood
53:05 um in general
53:07 discussion um Vicki not only shared
53:10 about this this site she got access to
53:12 to make these WordPress sites but she
53:15 made videos
53:18 um uh sharing how she did it so so one
53:22 of the things about the salon is it's
53:25 full of people who are learning this
53:28 stuff in real time and sharing what
53:30 they're learning in real time that's
53:31 what this Channel's about so so let me
53:34 go I want to go talk to you about the
53:36 the values of the salon because it's
53:38 it's really important I'm going to I'm
53:40 going to read the
53:45 um the kind of mission statement about
53:48 who we are and what we
53:50 do so ai ai Salon is a ragtag group of
53:54 Misfits Nar do Wells and miscreant who
53:57 have gathered to explore the Uncharted
53:59 Wilderness of generative AI where
54:01 everyone from entrepreneurs to Educators
54:03 from healthcare workers to creatives and
54:06 everyone in
54:08 between generative AI right now is so
54:12 new and so raw that no one is an expert
54:15 at it there are experts at machine
54:18 learning and
54:19 AI but this generative AI stuff chat GPT
54:22 the image generation tools the music
54:24 generation tools all stuff we're talking
54:26 about build a website with a prompt
54:28 right all that stuff is all brand new
54:30 and it's going to transform everything
54:32 and the whole idea of the salon is we
54:34 want to find people that want to be on
54:36 this journey that want to be on this
54:38 adventure that are that are ready to get
54:40 curious about it and excited to get
54:42 curious about it and so with that you
54:45 know we put together this group and
54:48 we've got six values and these values
54:50 are really important because the thing
54:51 about values is you know it's it's
54:53 really easy to go here's our values
54:55 values is really important but but
54:57 values are very much how we want
54:59 everyone to behave so if you resonate
55:01 with these this is a community for you
55:03 if you don't that's cool this isn't like
55:06 if you want something just more geeky or
55:08 whatever it might be so so the first of
55:10 the values is generosity and and it's
55:12 you know it's the first one for a reason
55:14 we want people to be generous this is
55:16 not a time to be stingy with your
55:18 knowledge as we're all learning stuff
55:21 it's it's imperative to to share it with
55:25 other people because because everyone's
55:28 trying to figure this out and there's
55:30 there's so much opportunity right now
55:32 it's not like if you share with someone
55:34 some crazy prompt you came up with
55:36 that's going to like cut into your
55:38 Revenue in the future no that prompt is
55:40 going to be irrelevant a month or two
55:42 from now cuz some new text's going to
55:44 come out that that you don't need it
55:46 anymore so so like everything's shifting
55:48 right now so be generous um exploration
55:51 we want people that are excited to
55:53 explore and and and are digging in and
55:55 trying stuff and seeing if they can
55:56 break it and breaking it and doing
55:59 things right
56:00 collaboration this is one of the things
56:02 I'm most excited about in the salon
56:03 right now is there are a lot of of
56:06 people discovering one another and going
56:08 hey I like how you think or I like how
56:10 you talk or whatever it is and they're
56:12 starting projects together that's a big
56:14 part of the part of the uh part of the
56:17 thing um inclusion um
56:21 people are coming from every every
56:26 discipline some of the most um some of
56:30 the people that I know that are doing
56:31 the most interesting work in generative
56:33 AI right now do not have a tech
56:37 background um Claire who's in the
56:39 community has been doing amazing stuff
56:41 with art and she's a
56:44 nurse and we've got people who started
56:46 out as engineers and are now doing music
56:48 or doing video um Herod who's who's the
56:51 one teaching all the video he was an
56:53 engineer and he decided he wanted to be
56:55 become an AI artist and did that so
56:57 people are coming from all over the
56:58 place last one's
57:02 empathy everyone right now is dealing
57:05 with kind of the existential nature of
57:07 these tools that oh my God what if this
57:09 replaces my job what if what if my job
57:13 is irrelevant what do I do how do I like
57:15 you know Hollywood told me the robots
57:18 are going to kill us is that true are
57:19 these evil things that are going to kill
57:21 us so as you talk about this stuff as
57:25 you start exploring it and you're being
57:27 generous with what you're putting out
57:29 there um people are going to be scared
57:32 and just have empathy for that so how
57:34 can we join so how you
57:35 join is and I think I'm missing one of
57:40 our values one two three four five I'm
57:42 missing one of the values I'll have to
57:44 put it in there I forget which one it is
57:48 generosity huh okay well whatever
57:53 um you
57:56 join the salon go to the
57:59 salon. and there's there's a bunch of
58:02 links there it's a link tree and the
58:04 first link is a link that describes the
58:09 values that I just said and the um who
58:12 we are why we do what we do the second
58:14 link is to the Meetup so we meet every
58:17 other week um we have an inperson
58:19 meeting here in Denver by the way it's
58:20 snowing here in Denver and we also meet
58:24 online and then we have this Discord and
58:26 the Discord is this community where you
58:29 can there's guilds that you can join and
58:31 and there's a private channel for this
58:33 channel if you're a subscriber to this
58:35 channel you automatically get a role
58:38 called the Irregulars so the people that
58:40 show up here regularly by the way I've
58:42 been doing these lives for two to three
58:44 hours a night 7 days a week for the past
58:47 four and a half months it's probably
58:48 five months at this point um I think I
58:51 started on April 30th doing these lives
58:53 and with the exception of three sday
58:56 periods where Tik Tok booted
58:59 me um I've been here every night and I'm
59:04 doing that because I'm so passionate
59:06 about getting the word out about this
59:08 stuff demystifying it and and supporting
59:11 this community so if you're a subscriber
59:13 to the channel you get access to the
59:15 Irregulars um you can come back here
59:17 every night you don't you don't have to
59:19 subscribe to come back here every night
59:20 but if you do um it supports the channel
59:22 it supports me and you get access to the
59:25 to the private um Irregulars channel on
59:28 the Discord which is nice it's a smaller
59:30 subset um and it tends to be people the
59:34 people that show up here regularly what
59:37 I've been experiencing with them is I'm
59:39 watching them all Blossom individually
59:42 both professionally and
59:44 personally where they're going through
59:47 like the cycles of like I don't know
59:48 what I'm doing to oh I did a cool thing
59:51 to oh I've been telling people about it
59:53 oh thank you very much Ron I appreciate
59:55 it apprciate that those help um and and
59:58 now like we're starting to see cuno
1:00:01 who's in here um she works for a big I
1:00:03 think insurance
1:00:05 company and when she came in she was
1:00:07 just like you know I'm kind of the same
1:00:10 eye person off in the corner and no one
1:00:12 really knows what I'm doing and then she
1:00:13 started sharing it with people and
1:00:15 educating people and then then they
1:00:17 asked her to do a workshop and now
1:00:19 people within the company are starting
1:00:20 to talk about her and and that's anyone
1:00:24 who gets
1:00:25 curious and vocal about what they're
1:00:28 learning with this stuff in the next 18
1:00:30 months is going to have such massive
1:00:33 opportunity like this we are so at the
1:00:35 ground floor if you think you're behind
1:00:37 you're not um the repetition of the
1:00:40 lives to be extremely inspiring and
1:00:42 nurturing wait oh I find the repetition
1:00:46 of these lives to be extreme extremely
1:00:49 inspiring and nurturing oh thank you
1:00:50 very much Christopher I appreciate that
1:00:52 be Not Afraid thank you so much um I I
1:00:55 appreciate that I you
1:00:57 know for a long time this felt
1:01:01 like I was talking into a
1:01:05 phone you know it felt a lot like like
1:01:09 like hey Martha is this Tik tock on how
1:01:12 do you do this um and especially in the
1:01:16 past six weeks or a month this has
1:01:18 become a really Vibrant Community where
1:01:21 where people are um you know as a
1:01:25 talking about stuff I'll make jokes like
1:01:26 tonight I haven't it hasn't been as
1:01:28 jokey tonight because we we kind of dug
1:01:29 into some kind of cool stuff um but you
1:01:32 know people are are making all sorts of
1:01:34 images most of these images I didn't
1:01:36 make most of these images are made kind
1:01:38 of in real time while these these things
1:01:40 are going on people are exploring you
1:01:42 know how to use these tools and and
1:01:44 they're making jokes and having
1:01:46 conversations and that's all happening
1:01:47 over in the Discord so here's let me go
1:01:50 to the Irregulars Channel you know
1:01:52 here's the Irregulars Channel and you
1:01:54 know having conversations they're making
1:01:57 there's there's some AI learning lab
1:01:58 baseball characters um we have jokes
1:02:01 about llamas hedgehogs Turtles and gummy
1:02:04 bears so here we are rounding out the
1:02:06 team these are
1:02:09 awesome um but this is all happening in
1:02:11 real time right like the the you know
1:02:13 the Diamondbacks game is tonight right
1:02:16 and so these you know these things are
1:02:17 happening in real time so it's a really
1:02:19 Vibrant Community and and and so it's
1:02:22 it's much more than this Tik Tok live
1:02:23 but this is here I mean very much as as
1:02:27 you know a place for you to come and and
1:02:29 connect and um so I appreciate the kind
1:02:32 words um don't forget Source Camp Kyle
1:02:35 Source Camp where's s oh where's Source
1:02:39 Camp don't forget what Clint Source
1:02:41 Camp's images she's been doing a ton of
1:02:45 images those are so good I know aren't
1:02:48 they it's
1:02:52 amazing all right so let's
1:03:01 go there's sounds there's
1:03:05 um here's 3D stuff to pay attention
1:03:09 to blockade labs and wonder Dynamics are
1:03:13 really interesting right
1:03:18 now so I'd go play with those and
1:03:22 then this is the one I wanted to get to
1:03:25 so so resources are good but also people
1:03:29 find your people find your peeps if you
1:03:31 dig this if you dig my chaotic chat add
1:03:36 insane sometimes comedy sometimes
1:03:39 soapbox kind of delivery great come out
1:03:42 hang out here you should be following
1:03:44 these people there's probably others
1:03:45 these are the ones that I really respect
1:03:47 right now and really
1:03:49 dig um Ethan mik is a Wharton business
1:03:52 school Professor his blog um one useful
1:03:55 thing is killer so's his Twitter feed so
1:03:57 is his LinkedIn feed you should
1:03:59 absolutely follow him he's he's like
1:04:01 digging deep into chat GPT and its
1:04:04 implications and the future of work and
1:04:06 the future of
1:04:07 Education um David Shapiro big into AGI
1:04:11 he's got an open-source cognitive
1:04:13 architecture project right now which if
1:04:15 you're geeky I would be a part of it I I
1:04:18 don't have the geek skills to be a part
1:04:19 of it he's [ __ ] brilliant and he does
1:04:22 videos three or four videos a week on
1:04:25 YouTube that are just like these kind of
1:04:27 future gazing analysis of what's going
1:04:29 to happen in the future he's amazing
1:04:32 Paul rer from the fall uh the marketing
1:04:35 AI institute's really good and then
1:04:37 Rachel Woods here on Tik Tok from the AI
1:04:39 exchange she's more into AI Ops right so
1:04:42 how do you put these tools together what
1:04:44 what are the kind of Rules of Engagement
1:04:46 within business so if you think of this
1:04:48 channel is more sort of freewheeling and
1:04:50 creative hers is kind of the buttoned up
1:04:52 community of you know uh you know people
1:04:55 using AI for work John I love David
1:04:58 Shapiro yeah he's amazing isn't he um
1:05:01 and then and then the the uh directory
1:05:03 is down below futur pedia.com
1:05:24 do featured works and shout outs Source
1:05:27 Camp wait what's going on there we'll
1:05:30 hit enter too quick the first time all
1:05:33 right
1:05:35 um beautiful all
1:05:39 right so let's get back to some
1:05:41 questions let's get back to some
1:05:43 questions shall
1:05:45 we oh that's a good image I like that
1:05:48 one oh yeah I love those
1:05:52 eyes thank you forever hooked good to
1:05:56 see you AI learning lab all right
1:06:00 Kenneth Johnson I've been using AI to
1:06:03 build better characters and environments
1:06:06 for game development yeah so uh I'll
1:06:08 show you I know we just got off me
1:06:10 showing stuff but let me go show you
1:06:11 blockade Labs I don't know if you've
1:06:13 seen this Kevin uh Kenneth Johnson um
1:06:16 the character stuff's good game
1:06:18 development I I think I think we're
1:06:20 about to see some really remarkable
1:06:22 stuff from um
1:06:25 unreal unreal engine five some of the I
1:06:28 I've seen a couple of things on Twitter
1:06:30 recently about you're going to be able
1:06:32 to make you're going to be able to
1:06:34 generate a character and put it in
1:06:36 Unreal Engine worlds and then it will
1:06:39 make video of that character running
1:06:41 through that world so I think I think
1:06:43 there's some amazing [ __ ] coming that's
1:06:45 going to really up the quality of like
1:06:49 coherence like the current video tools
1:06:51 they make videos where people's faces
1:06:53 kind of morph and
1:06:55 you know they're just kind of janky and
1:06:56 weird uh they're still remarkable don't
1:06:58 get me wrong um but I think the stuff
1:07:01 that's coming from Unreal Engine is
1:07:02 going to be unreal um but let me show
1:07:05 you
1:07:06 something uh uh this is pretty good with
1:07:10 me not reaching in front of the camera
1:07:13 and like showing you up my nose holes
1:07:15 while while I'm navigating um where was
1:07:18 I going oh Skybox so if you go to Skybox
1:07:21 blad labs.com you should do this with me
1:07:24 actually you know what we should do is
1:07:26 what's new at blockade Labs uhoh rutro
1:07:31 rut R we got an issue we're going to
1:07:33 need a bigger boat wait hang on let me
1:07:36 let me quit some things clean my Mac
1:07:38 we'll get rid of that Microsoft
1:07:40 installer hey Microsoft how about making
1:07:42 a browser that doesn't trash my [ __ ]
1:07:44 memory four times a day how about that
1:07:48 and then I know if you're like why are
1:07:50 you using Microsoft I'm a Microsoft
1:07:52 hater don't get me wrong I've been a
1:07:54 Microsoft Basher for years but when they
1:07:57 decided to go all in on chat GPT and
1:07:59 start [ __ ] with Google I'm like all
1:08:01 right I'm in they're acting like they're
1:08:03 acting like a startup I'm in
1:08:05 experimental 3D
1:08:07 Styles all right so whatever they've got
1:08:10 some new stuff okay so what might be fun
1:08:12 here is I don't quite know how you share
1:08:14 these once you create them but if you're
1:08:17 a part of the salon
1:08:19 Discord come here with me I'm really
1:08:22 digging this like turning this into an
1:08:23 Interac kind of
1:08:25 thing so come here with me I'll show you
1:08:28 how to do this make some worlds and
1:08:29 maybe we can show um share worlds in the
1:08:32 showand tell Channel over on the Discord
1:08:34 so the way this works is you've got let
1:08:38 me make the interface a little bigger
1:08:40 here so you've got this 3D World right
1:08:43 and this is kind of their default
1:08:45 world and then I can just dream up a
1:08:50 world so I'll say create new dream up
1:08:53 world let me get rid of that thing and
1:08:56 I'll say oh let's do
1:09:03 [Music]
1:09:11 um
1:09:15 futuristic
1:09:18 racetrack
1:09:20 with two
1:09:22 planets hover in the
1:09:27 sky I don't know that's good enough and
1:09:29 then let's see Styles art techniques so
1:09:33 here's all the different styles
1:09:35 realistic realism Sky
1:09:38 Dome oh this is cool they they've
1:09:40 they've
1:09:42 um they've upped the number
1:09:46 of different kinds of Worlds the ones
1:09:49 that have little green dots by them are
1:09:50 ones that you got to pay for you got to
1:09:52 be a paid subscriber which I'm not but
1:09:55 we'll go futuristic there's cyberpunk so
1:09:57 we'll do a cyberpunk racetrack and so
1:10:00 now I go generate and this is now it's
1:10:02 just going to go off and make this world
1:10:04 now what this is doing technically is
1:10:06 not super sophisticated it's it's
1:10:09 creating it's it's like a a single
1:10:11 stable diffusion image that they're
1:10:13 creating that's um that's being um
1:10:16 generated in such a way that they can
1:10:18 map it against a 3D
1:10:20 sphere and so like here's our racetrack
1:10:24 look at that holy crap that's so
1:10:27 good there's the planets in the sky
1:10:30 there's one there's
1:10:32 two there's a big spaceship or I don't
1:10:35 know Hospitality
1:10:37 Center you know here's where the cars
1:10:39 are going to come racing in now now some
1:10:41 people are taking these 3D worlds
1:10:43 they're taking them into Unreal Engine
1:10:45 and they're they're dropping objects
1:10:47 within them and you can kind of navigate
1:10:48 inside these things um but just go go
1:10:51 make some worlds and and let me see if I
1:10:54 can figure out how to share this I don't
1:10:57 let's see
1:10:59 share copied the clipboard all right so
1:11:02 now I'm going to go over to the
1:11:05 Discord and I'm going to go to the
1:11:08 showand tell Channel if you haven't seen
1:11:10 Discord you're lucky oh nice these are
1:11:14 from Herod I think is this Herod oh no
1:11:17 maybe this is happening
1:11:19 inside um inside Dolly 3
1:11:25 wow really cool stuff in there so let me
1:11:27 just paste
1:11:32 this all right well it sort of gave me
1:11:36 so you know what I should do is I should
1:11:38 come over here maybe here's how to share
1:11:41 them find a cool area of your
1:11:44 world like that's pretty cool and then
1:11:49 screenshot
1:11:50 it so I'll screenshot it
1:11:55 right
1:12:01 right and now I'll hop over to Discord
1:12:04 and paste it in
1:12:07 boom there you go I don't know that's
1:12:11 kind of a janky ass way to share but
1:12:13 that's the that's the business right now
1:12:14 all this stuff's janky it's all janky
1:12:17 people it's Jank ified janky janky janky
1:12:20 all right that's super cool all right
1:12:22 groovy dig it
1:12:25 all right oh good someone came in and
1:12:26 introduced yourself um Kyle will get you
1:12:29 in the gate okay terrific I will get
1:12:32 people in the gate absolutely if you
1:12:34 joined it looks like a lot of people
1:12:35 just joined if you joined and you're
1:12:37 still here please actually introduce
1:12:39 yourself tell us who you are what you do
1:12:42 and kind of where you are on the AI
1:12:44 Journey like and I don't give a [ __ ] if
1:12:46 you're like I don't know nothing Kyle
1:12:49 I'm just I'm just a a little country
1:12:51 bumpkin fine just say you're Country
1:12:54 Bumpkin you don't know anything about
1:12:56 this if you're like hey I invented the
1:12:59 uh Transformer great let us know that
1:13:01 you invented the Transformer we'll
1:13:03 celebrate you and say thank you for
1:13:05 changing our world and and anywhere in
1:13:07 between that that's cool too just just
1:13:09 let us know where you are because this
1:13:11 this really is about us connecting as
1:13:13 people
1:13:15 because the te the technology is is
1:13:20 irrelevant what's relevant is the impact
1:13:23 of the technology on our lives right so
1:13:26 when you see the these Tik Tok channels
1:13:28 that sound like this you can make money
1:13:30 with they're focusing on the technology
1:13:33 it's not about the technology it's about
1:13:35 us it's about us it's about Humanity
1:13:37 people it's about Humanity I could have
1:13:41 been a
1:13:42 contender
1:13:47 larnos oh Ted's are the best Ted's
1:13:50 killing it there's jrc that's beautiful
1:13:54 whatever you're doing with the fall
1:13:55 fashion design stuff good
1:13:59 Lord wow
1:14:03 nice oh Silver Fox doing some stuff wow
1:14:06 super cool
1:14:09 awesome that's forever hooked that did
1:14:11 the baseball
1:14:20 cards Herod D's got some cool stuff
1:14:23 going let me show you what Herod D's
1:14:25 doing oh that's Joker look at Joker's
1:14:28 Joker that's super cool so Herod D um
1:14:33 who's who's one of the mods in here and
1:14:35 and member of the community he just
1:14:36 created a Laura so in stable diffusion
1:14:39 you can create these things called luras
1:14:41 which are basically like
1:14:43 specialized I don't know tools that make
1:14:46 stable diffusion do stuff that you want
1:14:49 it to do he's he's created a Laura that
1:14:51 makes stable diffusion do high quality
1:14:54 text which it can't do right now like it
1:14:57 really sucks at doing text so he figured
1:14:59 out how to do that he's in the community
1:15:01 right now he's he's got this thing I
1:15:03 think he put it on what did you call it
1:15:05 um I forget that that
1:15:08 site
1:15:10 um
1:15:12 civit so so this this Laura is available
1:15:16 on civit for people to like if you play
1:15:18 with stable diffusion go look up Herod h
1:15:21 a r r o
1:15:25 wed and look up his um his Laura and you
1:15:31 too can start doing slick stuff like
1:15:34 that um all right all right all right
1:15:37 all right all right all right all right
1:15:38 all right all right all right I'm a
1:15:42 Dallas
1:15:52 peep
1:15:56 wait wait wait hang on one
1:16:17 sec all right Clint I just sent you a
1:16:19 note on the Discord live channel the mod
1:16:23 Channel
1:16:24 just to catch me up on
1:16:32 something oh right right right right
1:16:34 right
1:16:37 okay right
1:16:40 Vicky yeah yeah yeah okay so so there's
1:16:44 another thing happening so so all these
1:16:46 all these people are starting to share
1:16:49 all this stuff which is really exciting
1:16:51 one of the things that I talk about a
1:16:52 lot in here
1:16:54 is not only should you get curious and
1:16:56 adventurous and start learning this [ __ ]
1:16:59 but you should also um share it with
1:17:02 people put it out in the
1:17:04 world and so um a number of the
1:17:07 Irregulars including uh Source camps one
1:17:10 of them um who else put one
1:17:13 out I think Sher D did one
1:17:17 right oh that's awesome oh that's really
1:17:20 cool Sherry G just hired Source camp uh
1:17:24 so so people are starting to work with
1:17:26 one another um but a number of people in
1:17:29 here have started Tik Tok channels um
1:17:32 there's there's uh one dude that is
1:17:37 um is it Dean Dean learn's AI is taking
1:17:42 what he's learning and showing it on Tik
1:17:44 Tok Source Camp has got one where she's
1:17:46 putting together
1:17:48 tutorials
1:17:50 um Firefly is doing you
1:17:54 YouTubes
1:18:00 um yeah so so there's all sorts of stuff
1:18:04 like like this channel is birthing other
1:18:06 channels and it's like yes like get the
1:18:09 word out get the word out and and and
1:18:12 listen when I say get the word out I
1:18:14 don't give a [ __ ] if
1:18:17 you're like like this this is not about
1:18:19 just ai's great there are a lot of
1:18:22 [ __ ] issues right it's it's not great
1:18:25 all the time it this stuff's janky it's
1:18:27 not
1:18:28 perfect but what it what it absolutely
1:18:31 is not is it's not going
1:18:34 away and so anything we can do that as
1:18:37 we're exploring this stuff and figuring
1:18:39 it out good batter indifference start
1:18:41 sharing it so that more and more people
1:18:43 have on-ramps to start to figure this
1:18:45 stuff out so anyway um I'm just super
1:18:50 excited to be here I think y'all are
1:18:51 [ __ ] awesome so the mods in here
1:18:54 thank you to the mods also cuz the the
1:18:57 mods I don't know if you know this so
1:18:58 like right now there's 97 people in here
1:19:02 the way this channel used to work when
1:19:03 there was like 12 people in here the the
1:19:06 ones that are the mods now for the most
1:19:08 part were here in those early days the
1:19:10 way this channel used to work is I would
1:19:12 just literally answer every single
1:19:14 comment and it would you know it would
1:19:16 take me hours to get through them and
1:19:17 then at some point it just became clear
1:19:20 that I could never get through them and
1:19:21 I I would have to jump and people going
1:19:23 hey you know we could mod for you we
1:19:25 could mod for you and so probably for
1:19:27 the last month and a half or so or two
1:19:29 months um they've been dealing with the
1:19:32 the [ __ ] chaos that is the comments
1:19:34 so thank you for for all of you for
1:19:36 doing that that's my thing videos
1:19:39 editing UI ux design if I learn all this
1:19:43 I'll make money with it yeah exactly
1:19:45 that's exactly right I'll make money
1:19:46 with ch you can make money with and let
1:19:50 me talk about this gold button and and
1:19:53 and why I make fun of these people um
1:19:55 what are the F benefits of default GPT 4
1:19:59 to 3.5 I can't tell because of the info
1:20:02 uh so long serenade so thank you sherb
1:20:05 birth very much great to see you um
1:20:08 you're up to level 24 by the way that's
1:20:10 really cool I those hanging lights are
1:20:11 my favorite of those gifts Sher D thank
1:20:13 you so much um so long serenate I like
1:20:17 your name a lot for one thing why is
1:20:19 that relevant I don't know I I'm like
1:20:21 Dave poroy with pizza r views I'm like
1:20:24 I'm like that with with name reviews so
1:20:26 long serenade you get a 8.5 out of 10
1:20:29 it's solid I like
1:20:30 it um I'll talk to you I'll talk to you
1:20:34 about the difference between uh chat GPT
1:20:36 3.5 and chat GPT 4 the tldr as the kids
1:20:41 like to say is that um the 20 bucks for
1:20:46 gp4 in my opinion is the best deal on
1:20:49 software right now it is remarkable I'll
1:20:52 walk you through all of what's in chat
1:20:54 gp4 and it's you you would not get this
1:20:57 from their website in fact even if you
1:20:59 pay for J chat GPT for you probably
1:21:02 don't know some of the things that you
1:21:04 have cuz they've added a lot like in the
1:21:06 last three weeks a lot it's there's a
1:21:08 lot there but anyway let me talk about
1:21:12 this as you as you scroll through Tik
1:21:15 Tok you'll see these super slick Tik
1:21:17 tokers that are like you can make money
1:21:19 with Jackie they got all the graphics
1:21:21 going and all this stuff you know it's
1:21:23 it's less janky than this
1:21:26 channel do you know how they make money
1:21:28 with chat
1:21:29 gbt they don't they make money selling
1:21:32 courses to tell you how to make money
1:21:35 with chat
1:21:37 GPT here's why this is a flawed approach
1:21:42 because chat GPT is just a
1:21:45 tool so's Photoshop so's Microsoft Word
1:21:49 like you this would be just as valid to
1:21:52 say you can make money with with
1:21:53 Microsoft
1:21:54 Word well how well learn to write and
1:22:00 then when someone says I need something
1:22:02 written you fire up Microsoft Word and
1:22:04 you write [ __ ] in it and if you do that
1:22:06 good enough they give you money right
1:22:09 same thing with chat GPT now chat GPT
1:22:12 and and the tools all these generative
1:22:14 AI tools are incredibly powerful I'll
1:22:16 give you that but they are not the
1:22:18 strategy they're just a tool so how you
1:22:22 make money with chat GPT is you figure
1:22:24 out a problem to solve and then you
1:22:27 figure out with chat GPT how do I
1:22:29 actually solve that oh boy my machine is
1:22:32 about to crash hard let me let me quit
1:22:34 and restart
1:22:36 um Microsoft Edge and then we will be
1:22:41 better um all right you ask chat GPT how
1:22:44 do I make money duh yeah exactly yeah
1:22:47 yeah how do you make money with chat GPT
1:22:49 you go ask but seriously go ask chat GPT
1:22:52 how to make money with chat GPT I know
1:22:54 you said it as a joke Herod but it's
1:22:57 actually like you can use chat GPT to
1:22:59 help you come up with a strategy for
1:23:02 what problem you might want to solve and
1:23:04 then you could say to it o how do I you
1:23:07 know use generative AI or generative
1:23:09 images or whatever to do that
1:23:11 thing
1:23:13 great but figure out the problem you
1:23:15 want to solve first and and where's that
1:23:18 going to come from it's going to come
1:23:19 from your knowledge from your experience
1:23:21 you're like I know Pizza shop owners in
1:23:24 in this town and they're all having
1:23:25 trouble getting people to to come in and
1:23:27 sit in their restaurants and so I'm
1:23:29 going to come up with a business to
1:23:31 improve that great now how can you use
1:23:34 chat GPT to help do that your system has
1:23:36 run out of application memory I think
1:23:39 this could be ugly people I think we
1:23:41 might be restarting Ye Old machine but
1:23:44 let me try to launch Edge again this
1:23:46 could be this could be one of those one
1:23:49 of those long moments where we got to
1:23:55 I do want to answer the person's
1:23:57 question what was it uh oh so long so
1:24:02 long
1:24:03 something um I uploaded my LinkedIn
1:24:06 resume into GPT and asked it to analyze
1:24:09 and summar summarize what I should do
1:24:12 perfect digital Funny Bone nine out of
1:24:14 10 on the name by the way um perfect
1:24:17 it's one of the things that chat GPT is
1:24:19 really good at is um analyzing other
1:24:22 [ __ ]
1:24:23 so give it your resume give it your
1:24:25 LinkedIn profile thank you bear thank
1:24:27 you so much appreciate that level 11
1:24:30 bear
1:24:33 8888
1:24:35 fantastic all right
1:24:38 so you asked about the difference
1:24:41 between chat GPT 3.5 and and GPT 4 thank
1:24:44 you Ted very much I appreciate that um
1:24:48 yeah exactly so chat jbd 3.5 is still
1:24:53 really good like if you don't pay the 20
1:24:55 bucks it's still really good like it's
1:24:57 still kind of all of the other companies
1:25:00 to this point when they launch their
1:25:04 [ __ ] they almost all say this is as good
1:25:08 or better than chat GPT 3.5 what are the
1:25:11 benefits yeah of default GPT 4 to 3.5
1:25:15 can't tell the difference
1:25:18 okay so this is the first and it's still
1:25:21 the best now if you go to
1:25:23 bing.com bing.com is built on top of
1:25:27 gp4 so if you want some of the
1:25:31 advantages of gp4 you can just go to
1:25:34 bing.com and then you click on the chat
1:25:36 button and that's chat GPT or if in the
1:25:39 edge browser in the upper right hand
1:25:41 corner you click on the well I can
1:25:43 actually show you because I'm
1:25:44 here in the upper right hand corner of
1:25:47 the edge browser is this new little icon
1:25:50 this used to be chaty BT they've re
1:25:52 branded at co-pilot why well they're
1:25:55 about to on November 1st they're about
1:25:59 to launch co-pilot inside of all the
1:26:01 Office 365 thing so this co-pilot
1:26:04 branding is going to this is already
1:26:07 inside GitHub GitHub co-pilot it's
1:26:10 already inside windows 11 it's going to
1:26:12 be in Office 365 it's going to be in um
1:26:17 Dynamics their their CRM so co-pilots
1:26:20 their branding this is built on top of
1:26:21 gp4
1:26:23 so if you want it for free Microsoft is
1:26:26 giving it to you
1:26:28 um
1:26:30 I do not use the Microsoft Chat GPT for
1:26:35 all that often
1:26:38 because since when can't I upload a
1:26:40 document anymore did open AI change
1:26:42 something open AI changed a lot so I'll
1:26:45 I'll show you I'll show you in a second
1:26:47 all the there's two different places you
1:26:49 can upload documents lowb so I'm going
1:26:51 to walk through this all right now
1:26:53 now um but chaty GPT 3.5 on its own is
1:26:57 good right so I can come in here and I
1:27:00 can
1:27:04 go come on oh no did Siri take over
1:27:08 there we
1:27:10 go
1:27:14 Siri write me a country song about a
1:27:18 jilted lover named
1:27:21 Siri
1:27:24 so it can write songs I'll do some of
1:27:26 the parlay tricks see how fast it is one
1:27:28 of the things about 3.5 is it super fast
1:27:32 okay
1:27:34 um write a table comparing Siri and
1:27:38 Alexa as if they were love
1:27:43 interests so there's a table comparing
1:27:46 Siri and
1:27:49 Alexa tonight's Kyle ISM Bry VI
1:27:57 three that's awesome okay um so it's a
1:28:01 playful comparison Siri is a Sleek
1:28:04 elegant design Alexa boasts a modern
1:28:07 cylindrical shape personality Siri
1:28:10 personality is polite and professional
1:28:12 but she's also passive aggressive Alexa
1:28:15 is friendly and
1:28:16 helpful so it'll do that I can also do
1:28:19 things with 3.5 like
1:28:23 write me a python
1:28:25 application that allows me to rate Siri
1:28:29 and
1:28:31 Alexa as if it were a
1:28:37 competition and it will write you python
1:28:41 code so so 3.5 is really fast nothing to
1:28:44 sneeze at the other thing 3 five has
1:28:47 that that four also has but it's got
1:28:49 it's something that not a lot of people
1:28:51 talk about there's this thing called
1:28:53 custom
1:28:56 instructions
1:28:58 [Music]
1:29:00 um under your under your account this
1:29:03 thing called custom instructions
1:29:06 so what do I have here this is a dolly
1:29:09 three prompt so so you can tell chat GPT
1:29:12 to act like a certain thing and respond
1:29:15 in a certain way so so it basically
1:29:17 allows you to to turn Chat GPT in into
1:29:20 something that you want it to be so I'm
1:29:22 going to turn this on I'm going to
1:29:24 delete the stuff I've got in here this
1:29:25 is a a uh Dolly 3 uh image improving
1:29:31 thing but but the first part of this is
1:29:33 what would you like chat jpt to know
1:29:35 about um to provide better responses and
1:29:38 so I'm going to put in here um I'm going
1:29:40 to do something s well I'm going to do
1:29:42 this
1:29:44 um you're an incredibly efficient anal
1:29:49 retentive analyst who
1:29:55 does not like ovy
1:29:58 flower flowery
1:30:01 language hang on
1:30:08 flowery
1:30:10 language I'll just leave it at
1:30:12 that and then how would you like chat
1:30:14 GPT to respond whenever someone asks you
1:30:18 a
1:30:19 question do not provide any context
1:30:24 simply provide a list
1:30:26 of bullet points that answer their
1:30:30 question without any editorial period
1:30:34 the bullet points should be between
1:30:36 seven and 10 words long and there should
1:30:38 never be more than five of
1:30:40 them and so I'm going to save that so
1:30:43 now chat GPT when I go new
1:30:47 chat chat gbt
1:30:51 should can you can you explain how
1:30:54 quantum mechanics
1:31:01 Works boom there's five bullet points
1:31:04 quantum mechanics describes behavior of
1:31:07 particles at small scales it uses wave
1:31:09 functions to predict probability
1:31:10 superposition particles can exist in
1:31:12 multiple States measurement collapses
1:31:14 where uh collapses wave function to one
1:31:17 state entanglement correlation between
1:31:19 particle properties boom [ __ ] no
1:31:21 [ __ ] check GPT is no longer too
1:31:24 wordy right so you could also tell it to
1:31:28 um become a personal assistant that
1:31:31 understands the way you like to write
1:31:32 emails right you can do all sorts of
1:31:34 stuff with it so this is all available
1:31:36 within GPT 3.5 so there's no
1:31:40 shame there's no shame in just sticking
1:31:43 with gpt3 3.5 but that
1:31:47 said let's dig deeper let's go down the
1:31:49 rabbit hole shall
1:31:51 we if you've got chat
1:31:54 gp4 you have access to the default mode
1:31:58 browse with Bing which is it connected
1:32:01 to the internet Advanced Data analysis
1:32:03 plugins and Dolly 3 within default mode
1:32:06 there's also um um uh GPT Vision hang on
1:32:11 Dogg's got a p or something hang hang
1:32:13 hang what is wrong with you you want to
1:32:15 go see Mama you want to go see M come on
1:32:17 here come
1:32:20 on do
1:32:31 [Music]
1:32:34 all right this fantastic
1:32:37 B does he ever stop talking no he just
1:32:40 talks and talks and talks and talks and
1:32:42 he occasionally lets his dog out to pee
1:32:45 all right I occasionally also drink
1:32:46 water hang on let me drink water cuz I I
1:32:49 can feel the voice the vocal cords is
1:32:51 season up people
1:33:00 all
1:33:01 right are people introducing themselves
1:33:03 yay people are introducing yourselves
1:33:06 good if you join the Discord introduce
1:33:08 yourself be generous remember first
1:33:10 value generous
1:33:12 generosity okay let's go back to this
1:33:15 let's get back to this so there's all
1:33:16 these different
1:33:19 modes the first thing about GPT four
1:33:23 that is completely nonapparent so so I
1:33:26 can say to this
1:33:29 um write me a country song about a
1:33:32 jilted lover named
1:33:39 Siri now what one of the things that
1:33:41 you'll notice is that oh I've still got
1:33:44 custom instructions on so my my song is
1:33:47 particularly short so let me go turn my
1:33:49 custom instructions
1:33:50 off let me
1:33:52 custom instructions let's get rid of
1:33:55 this it's also fun to uh right into your
1:33:57 custom instructions um tell chat GPD to
1:34:00 chat GPT To Be A pompous ass that uses
1:34:04 um words that even it doesn't understand
1:34:08 have have it just become a pompous ass
1:34:10 um it's pretty funny actually that would
1:34:12 be something fun to do to to people at
1:34:15 work is especially if they if they use
1:34:18 chat GPT a lot but they haven't dug in
1:34:20 deep go to their custom instructions and
1:34:24 turn turn Chat GPT into a little nasty
1:34:26 gram maker or something like that that'd
1:34:28 be pretty funny okay let's go let's go
1:34:32 start a new chat um with the non-custom
1:34:35 instructions turned
1:34:38 on write a country song about um a
1:34:42 jilted lover named
1:34:45 Siri oops
1:34:50 named Siri
1:35:00 [Music]
1:35:02 in a Tavern neath the castle all right
1:35:05 so it's going
1:35:06 on I don't know why it made
1:35:09 it oh a Renaissance oh I I said make a
1:35:13 Renaissance I said write a country song
1:35:15 but but it heard Renaissance country
1:35:17 song so so it actually wrote this kind
1:35:20 of Shakespearean thing in a Tavern neath
1:35:22 the castle where the candles softly glow
1:35:25 sat a Minstrel with his Lo Loot and a
1:35:28 tale of woe to show spoke of love and
1:35:31 sweet surrender a maiden named Siri so
1:35:34 this does all the same [ __ ] that GPT 3.5
1:35:37 does but notice it's a lot slower well
1:35:41 what's going on
1:35:42 here gp4 is dramatically better at
1:35:46 writing it's dramatically better at
1:35:49 coding it's dramatically better at all
1:35:51 theu stuff you ask it to do why is
1:35:54 that GPT 3.5 is what's is is what they
1:36:00 call a 175 billion parameter model so
1:36:04 it's a single model that's got 175
1:36:07 billion parameters in it it doesn't
1:36:08 matter what those are it's just a lot
1:36:11 it's it knows a lot basically
1:36:14 gp4 is 1.8
1:36:17 trillion and it's actually 10
1:36:20 different 180 million parameter models
1:36:25 kind of stitched together they call it
1:36:28 um something of
1:36:31 experts I forget what the m is it's Moe
1:36:34 but basically when you ask a question of
1:36:36 chat GPT 4 it looks at these multiple
1:36:40 models one's been trained on coding
1:36:42 one's been trained on mathematics one's
1:36:44 been they're trained on different
1:36:46 expertises and so when you ask it a
1:36:48 question it figures out which of these
1:36:50 10 models can best answer your question
1:36:53 and then it kind of amalgamates the [ __ ]
1:36:54 together it's just an incredibly deeper
1:36:57 more sophisticated tool okay uh many of
1:37:00 experts a many of experts no it's not
1:37:03 many of experts oh wait maybe we can ask
1:37:05 Chad
1:37:07 gbt what doese stand for in the context
1:37:10 of a large language model
1:37:17 system where is my
1:37:19 mouse come on come on Mouse
1:37:23 masse in context ofe typically stands
1:37:27 for mixture of experts mixture of
1:37:29 experts that's what it is so so gp4 is a
1:37:33 mixture of expert systems so there's
1:37:35 there's 10 of these 180 million
1:37:40 parameter experts that that it does so
1:37:43 it just does what it does better okay so
1:37:45 that's one thing it does it's is it's
1:37:48 just better okay here's another thing it
1:37:51 does
1:37:52 in default mode so so remember we've got
1:37:55 these different modes so I'm going to do
1:37:57 new
1:37:58 chat we've got default browse with Bing
1:38:00 Advanced Data analysis plugins and Dolly
1:38:02 3 in default mode it's got something
1:38:05 called gptv GPT Vision so in the lower
1:38:09 right hand corner here this might be the
1:38:10 question of how come I can't upload
1:38:12 images anymore there's two two places
1:38:14 now you can upload images one of them is
1:38:16 in default mode so this little icon
1:38:19 means you can attach images it can see
1:38:21 images well what's that mean Kyle let's
1:38:25 go that one's kind of cute but let's
1:38:29 want to go find a whiteboard I
1:38:33 [Music]
1:38:40 think I want to go grab a different
1:38:43 whiteboard
1:38:50 whiteboard okay this one so here's a
1:38:53 whiteboard I just got this picture off
1:38:54 the Internet I didn't know what it was I
1:38:56 do it I do now but
1:38:58 basically over here it says ordering
1:39:01 users
1:39:03 benefits main steps and questions and
1:39:07 then here's a bunch of sketches of
1:39:10 interfaces okay so like every whiteboard
1:39:14 we've ever walked into the you know into
1:39:16 the room and saw someone scribbles on a
1:39:19 whiteboard that they thought people were
1:39:20 going to copy their ideas you can never
1:39:22 make sense of it so I'm going to open
1:39:23 that up now and I'm simply going to
1:39:27 say what is
1:39:37 [Music]
1:39:38 this it appears to be a whiteboard
1:39:40 sketch or a mockup of a user interface
1:39:42 of an ordering system specifically
1:39:44 tailored for use in an International
1:39:46 Airport setting the sketch outlines the
1:39:49 main features flows and considerations
1:39:51 for for the application here's a
1:39:53 breakdown if you're not losing your
1:39:55 [ __ ] mind right now if you haven't
1:39:56 seen this before are you [ __ ] kidding
1:39:58 me the ordering UI airport food and
1:40:01 drinks payment toilet Plus app users
1:40:05 business family use cases benefits main
1:40:08 steps here's the main steps of the app
1:40:10 here are the sketches to the right the
1:40:12 other notes so now watch
1:40:14 this that's awesome can you
1:40:19 please design the
1:40:22 front-end
1:40:24 components and the backend
1:40:28 applications for the main ordering
1:40:32 page and give me code examples for both
1:40:36 the front end and the backend after
1:40:39 deciding which backend programming
1:40:43 language you want to
1:40:47 use and I'm going to add something that
1:40:50 this is from an Ethan model
1:40:52 um
1:40:54 article take a deep breath and think
1:40:57 step by
1:40:58 step apparently that phrase take a deep
1:41:02 breath and think step by
1:41:04 step well it was come up with by chat
1:41:08 gp4 to prompt itself and apparently that
1:41:11 beats any human prompting in terms of
1:41:14 quality of response so we're going to
1:41:16 have have it do this so remember the
1:41:19 input here the prompt here was a
1:41:21 whiteboard
1:41:23 picture certainly designing a
1:41:25 full-fledged application based on the
1:41:27 sketch involves quite a few steps front
1:41:29 end
1:41:31 react
1:41:33 um first you'll need a react app using
1:41:36 the create react app so there it's
1:41:39 writing your code for the front end back
1:41:40 end nodejs plus Express create a new
1:41:43 directory there's your server JS it's
1:41:47 writing your code there's your little
1:41:50 listener to run the back end node
1:41:53 server.js this setup provides basic
1:41:55 story
1:41:57 okay so okay so that's
1:42:00 that wait Clint you sent me a reminder
1:42:03 in Discord oh
1:42:20 wait
1:42:29 uh you sent me a reminder in
1:42:33 Discord I don't remember what it was
1:42:35 Clint sorry
1:42:37 addd okay anyway let let me just let me
1:42:41 just crank through this gp4 stuff okay
1:42:43 so that was that was one feature so so
1:42:45 chat gbt can now
1:42:46 see so that's that's that then you've
1:42:50 got browse with Bing so now this is chat
1:42:52 gbt connected to the internet
1:42:56 um can you please give me the score of
1:42:59 the diamond Becks game right now and a
1:43:03 little write up
1:43:07 of how the runs were scored as if you
1:43:11 were a sports
1:43:20 caster
1:43:21 so browsing so starting up so now it
1:43:25 basically is this is kind of some of
1:43:27 this autonomous agent stuff someone was
1:43:29 asking about before where it's now going
1:43:32 off
1:43:34 and finding the score it's it's like
1:43:36 finding whatever site it wants to go
1:43:38 search
1:43:39 on and and then it's it's going to come
1:43:42 back and hopefully tell us the score and
1:43:44 write up how the how the ones were runs
1:43:47 were
1:43:50 happened
1:43:56 does anyone recall what the website text
1:43:58 to realization tool was if it was the
1:44:01 text to 3D World it was um blockade Labs
1:44:04 Skybox doad labs.com Rangers lost end of
1:44:08 story oh
1:44:09 bubbles what are you GNA do well in a
1:44:13 recent matchup oh nine to one they
1:44:15 didn't lose they got
1:44:17 obliterated in the fourth inning the
1:44:19 Diamondbacks broke a deadlock with two
1:44:21 runs they extended their lead scoring
1:44:23 another two runs in the seventh Diamond
1:44:25 Backs pulled away so anyway
1:44:28 um chat
1:44:30 gbt um previously the the underlying
1:44:35 model um was only uh up to date to
1:44:39 September
1:44:41 21 but now with it being connected to
1:44:44 the internet it's up to date but I also
1:44:46 heard here's a fun fact um apparently
1:44:50 they've they've rolled out an update to
1:44:51 gp4 where it's apparently now um caught
1:44:55 up to September
1:44:58 2023 the tool for creating a website oh
1:45:00 the tool for creating the website
1:45:03 Was Vicki shared that in the salon
1:45:08 Discord in general
1:45:10 discussion it was it's some
1:45:13 weird
1:45:15 um uh yeah zip WP it it actually makes
1:45:20 sense cuz it's making a WordPress site
1:45:22 in a zip zip WP if I want WordPress in a
1:45:27 zip then I go to zip WP see I could be
1:45:31 in
1:45:33 advertising all right so so that's the
1:45:36 next thing that chat gbt can do is it's
1:45:38 connected to the internet what else can
1:45:40 it
1:45:40 do this is another one that's just mind
1:45:43 [ __ ] blowing um we're going to do
1:45:45 Advanced Data analysis so this is the
1:45:47 second place you can upload a file here
1:45:50 um it basically do anything you ask with
1:45:53 corrections okay zip it zip it zip it
1:45:58 can zip
1:45:59 WP integrate with woo Commerce oh hair
1:46:02 growth geek you're you know these tools
1:46:04 are
1:46:06 janky um I would assume because it's
1:46:10 making a um a WordPress site you could
1:46:15 probably add the woo Commerce Hooks In
1:46:18 Yourself um but I would say that would
1:46:19 be something to experiment with my my
1:46:22 prediction just being a mansplainer is
1:46:25 that it will not do woo Commerce out of
1:46:27 the gate but that's obviously something
1:46:29 that would be important for them to do
1:46:31 cuz making a functional e-commerce site
1:46:34 but with just a prompt is crazy I'm
1:46:37 super impressed and a bit concerned with
1:46:39 its potential oh Ricky Ticky Fabby you
1:46:41 and me all of these tools right now I
1:46:43 don't know if you notice this but like
1:46:45 everything I'm showing with chat GPT
1:46:47 right
1:46:48 now like has implications in stuff that
1:46:52 we do Herod D use
1:46:55 Shopify staging site of course uh it can
1:46:59 build the site then you send it to your
1:47:02 host then add woo Commerce there you go
1:47:04 so actually Vicky knows there's your
1:47:06 answer and Shopify is too expensive and
1:47:09 restrictive all right good we we're
1:47:11 having some platform wars in the
1:47:12 conversations here this is good I again
1:47:15 this is what I love about this channel
1:47:16 is just the the the sort of back and
1:47:18 forth going on now it's like it's like
1:47:20 holy inde dependent of whatever I'm
1:47:21 talking about is all this stuff going on
1:47:23 wait I was mentioning to your Irregulars
1:47:25 that were you
1:47:26 doing she's running with it on Tik
1:47:32 Tock
1:47:45 okay
1:47:47 okay what to use instead of Shopify
1:47:49 sounds like woo Commerce the salon. okay
1:47:52 you're helping each other okay so now
1:47:53 let's go play so now we're going to play
1:47:55 with Advanced Data analysis so default
1:47:59 mode you can upload images in Advanced
1:48:01 Data analysis you can upload files so
1:48:04 what files well you can actually up
1:48:06 upload images but it's it's analyzing
1:48:08 them in a different way you could like
1:48:10 analyze the colors in an image with this
1:48:13 or you could upload say
1:48:16 a data file like a CSV so I'm going to
1:48:19 look for archive
1:48:21 cuz I know I've got some zip files in
1:48:23 here that have some stuff in
1:48:28 them
1:48:30 oops
1:48:32 archive contains archive on this Mac why
1:48:37 oh because I spelled it
1:48:45 wrong ZIP archive
1:48:49 okay
1:48:51 no that one's not right is
1:49:10 it okay here's is that no that's not
1:49:13 right hold
1:49:19 please
1:49:21 hm I don't know where my zip files went
1:49:23 okay we're going to we're going to go
1:49:24 we're going to go get some data so I'm
1:49:26 going over to a site called kaggle k a g
1:49:29 g l e where you can get data
1:49:36 sets and I'm going to go to data
1:49:41 sets and then I'm going to search for I
1:49:44 don't know let's let's look at what's
1:49:45 what's featured here football stadiums
1:49:47 world population real estate sales for
1:49:50 20 years League of Legends
1:49:54 championship NBA player shot data set
1:50:00 um data job salaries okay here's one
1:50:04 let's get a big one stock exchange data
1:50:07 health and
1:50:10 demographics all right we'll get stock
1:50:12 exchange data so we go in
1:50:15 here and I'm going to download this 5
1:50:19 megabyte file
1:50:21 so it's archive 16 so then we go back to
1:50:24 chat gbt I'm going to attach the file
1:50:28 I'm going to go to
1:50:29 downloads there's my archive 16
1:50:32 so so I just uploaded a zip file and now
1:50:36 I'm going to
1:50:37 say please open this and tell me what
1:50:40 data is in the
1:50:42 csvs contained in this ZIP
1:50:49 period
1:50:51 do an initial examination of the data
1:50:53 and tell me what's interesting about
1:50:56 it now watch what this does so I'm just
1:50:59 talking to
1:51:00 it I don't know anything I don't I don't
1:51:04 know about data analysis I don't know
1:51:06 how to do it I don't know what it is I
1:51:09 know
1:51:10 nothing so what does it do all right
1:51:12 let's start by extracting the contents
1:51:14 of the zip file to see which CSV files
1:51:16 are inside after that I'll perform an
1:51:18 initial examination of the data Within
1:51:20 the CSV and then it says working I can
1:51:23 click this show work button what's it
1:51:24 doing it's actually writing and
1:51:27 executing its own python code so it
1:51:30 imported two two libraries wrote code to
1:51:34 execute those libraries to open that zip
1:51:36 file and now here's what the data you
1:51:39 know here's the csvs inside so now it
1:51:42 says let's begin um by loading each CSV
1:51:46 file and examining its first few rows to
1:51:48 get an idea of the data structure
1:51:51 and again I can go look at what it's
1:51:53 done this is the python that it
1:51:56 wrote using
1:52:00 pandas and it says here's an initial
1:52:02 view index data has got these things
1:52:05 this data set appears to contain
1:52:07 historical stock index
1:52:10 data this one is metadata about St stock
1:52:14 indices and so interesting
1:52:19 observations so it's giving us the
1:52:21 observation now all I did was say what's
1:52:24 in
1:52:25 this this is an example of a very
1:52:28 lightweight autonomous agent it's not
1:52:30 going outside uh to connect with other
1:52:33 services but it's created what's called
1:52:35 a container and it's like a little mini
1:52:38 kind of computer system running inside
1:52:40 this chat where it's got access to
1:52:43 python
1:52:44 libraries and it's got the code to tell
1:52:47 it to take action on its own
1:52:51 Source Camp I'm really digging the
1:52:52 people here we're building an amazing
1:52:54 Community thanks
1:52:56 Kyle yeah absolutely Source Camp I I
1:52:59 totally agree I I I I honestly feel like
1:53:02 I I'm a bit humbled I feel like this
1:53:04 channel has shifted in the past 6 weeks
1:53:07 to a month to something completely
1:53:09 different and I'm I'm I'm over the moon
1:53:12 about it 10:17 my time you asked me
1:53:15 question I answered it on Discord thank
1:53:17 you I I got it Clint I'm good thank you
1:53:19 I appreciate that um yeah super super
1:53:23 good um really digging it um would you
1:53:26 like to so so here's what I'm going to
1:53:28 have it do I'm going to
1:53:29 say pick the most interesting Trend in
1:53:33 the
1:53:33 data and visualize it for me in a
1:53:38 aesthetically
1:53:40 pleasing
1:53:47 chart where is my mouse there it is
1:53:53 all right let's proceed step by step
1:53:54 identifying a trend so it's going to
1:53:57 identify a trend for us so again it's
1:53:59 prompting
1:54:01 itself I don't know anything about data
1:54:03 analysis it's helping me it's teaching
1:54:05 me I do this with my data regularly um
1:54:09 export Shopify data have it examined
1:54:12 based on tags and segment these yeah
1:54:15 exactly the other thing this can do is
1:54:18 once you figure out what the data is you
1:54:20 can have it create a subset of that data
1:54:23 and rewrite it as a new CSV file you can
1:54:26 have it clean up data o look at that
1:54:30 Richard users
1:54:32 [Laughter]
1:54:36 Shopify all right so this is off doing
1:54:38 its thing finished working I don't know
1:54:40 what it's doing right now let me go
1:54:42 close the door champy came back hey
1:54:45 buddy hey
1:54:47 buddy you good boy you good boy
1:54:52 yeah it's a good
1:54:54 dog Champ's the best champ the best
1:55:00 these will be so powerful analyzer of
1:55:02 all medical studies and fraudulent data
1:55:05 absolutely just all all stuff like you
1:55:08 know you know what's think about what's
1:55:11 happening here I don't know anything at
1:55:13 all about it looks like this thing hung
1:55:16 I don't know anything at all about
1:55:19 um data analysis but with this it's it's
1:55:24 democratized this kind of data analysis
1:55:27 to someone like me yeah I apologize but
1:55:29 it seems that the something took longer
1:55:31 than
1:55:33 expected let's give it another try oh so
1:55:36 look at what it just did so it ran
1:55:38 something it was too much data for it to
1:55:40 deal with so now it came up with another
1:55:43 method and so now it's writing some new
1:55:45 code to go solve it its
1:55:47 problem um all right so so that's
1:55:50 Advanced Data analysis it it will make a
1:55:52 chart it'll do all sorts of things like
1:55:53 that um use it to create your kpis and
1:55:56 then a graph yep exactly
1:55:59 Richard exactly exactly
1:56:03 exactly oh look there's our chart look
1:56:06 we're getting richer yay we did it
1:56:09 yay this is an amazing tool to analyze
1:56:12 your Shopify data it's like having a
1:56:13 data analyst at your side yeah this is
1:56:16 not a data analysis tool this is a data
1:56:20 analyst in your pocket all right so
1:56:23 there's that so by the way if you if
1:56:25 you're just here someone asked the
1:56:27 question earlier what's the difference
1:56:29 between chat GPT 3.5 and GPT 4 it's not
1:56:32 immediately apparent why I would pay the
1:56:34 20 bucks the last 20 minutes or so has
1:56:36 been me explaining why I think it's the
1:56:39 deal of the century okay then you've got
1:56:41 these things called plugins there's a
1:56:43 thousand of them think of this like the
1:56:44 app store for the for your iPhone or for
1:56:47 your Android device where there's all
1:56:50 these different tools let me make that
1:56:53 smaller so you can see them there's all
1:56:54 these different tools and I just have I
1:56:57 don't have that many installed actually
1:56:58 I've got I don't know maybe 30 installed
1:57:01 if you go to the plug-in store and I
1:57:02 click for all there are 257 pages of
1:57:07 four plugins each so more than a
1:57:09 thousand of them and if I type in like
1:57:12 art up here it will show me all the
1:57:16 different art
1:57:18 plugins there's
1:57:20 an Earth Map generator there's charts
1:57:25 there's I don't know oh chart chart is
1:57:28 INS art is inside chart mind art career
1:57:32 test to help you find your dream job so
1:57:34 there's all these plugins now caveat
1:57:37 about the plugins most of them are
1:57:38 [Applause]
1:57:40 horrible U but there's some cool ones in
1:57:42 there so let me go find one that I like
1:57:44 that was the Visa one that was pretty
1:57:46 cool that made a video last night
1:57:48 there's one there's one in here that I
1:57:49 think Dem deos really well that I think
1:57:51 is Worth
1:57:53 showing which
1:57:55 is
1:57:58 instacart all right so I'm going to
1:58:01 say make me a meal plan for a family of
1:58:04 four that uses as inexpensive
1:58:08 ingredients as possible but is still
1:58:11 somewhat
1:58:14 healthy so this is just going to be chat
1:58:16 GPT off doing it um I thought there were
1:58:19 only
1:58:20 30 plugins yeah nope yeah a thousand
1:58:24 plus yeah there's hundreds of
1:58:26 them and and and the thing about plugins
1:58:30 some of them are useful some of them are
1:58:31 not but like the early days of the app
1:58:35 store for for Apple most of those apps
1:58:39 were bad they weren't even apps they
1:58:41 were just pointers to
1:58:43 websites it looks like either
1:58:46 my memory has [ __ ] the bed again
1:58:51 or stop
1:58:54 generating let me try it
1:58:57 again copy
1:59:01 paste come on there we go of course
1:59:05 here's a simple and cost to face thing
1:59:07 oatmeal with sliced bananas drizzle of
1:59:09 Honey lentil soup nice spaghetti with
1:59:12 homemade tomato sauce canned
1:59:15 tomatoes green
1:59:17 salad all right so nice basic thing
1:59:21 we'll just we'll just let that keep
1:59:22 going
1:59:24 um and what the plugins do is they've
1:59:27 got code in them that basically says if
1:59:30 if the conversation goes to a place
1:59:33 that's relevant for me to do my thing
1:59:35 then fire off the plugin and so what
1:59:38 this will likely do what this should do
1:59:40 is because I'm making a list of
1:59:43 recipes or or meal plans okay it says
1:59:46 would you like to purchase these
1:59:48 ingredients on instacart if show if so I
1:59:51 can generate a shopping list for you so
1:59:52 all I respond is
1:59:57 yes and there's the instacart plugin it
1:59:59 fires off the instacart
2:00:01 plugin and then shortly here it's going
2:00:04 to return me a hyperlink to my shopping
2:00:08 list and so I could I had it write two
2:00:11 emails and it generated $199,000 in
2:00:14 sales that's awesome Richard the content
2:00:18 was excellent it created perfect perfect
2:00:22 it's
2:00:23 great all right great here's your
2:00:26 instacart shopping
2:00:28 list for a family of four you can click
2:00:31 on the link to view it so I'm going to
2:00:33 click on the
2:00:34 link and this will take me over to
2:00:36 instacart look how clean my screen is I
2:00:38 got rid of all the fingerprints
2:00:40 people that's not my ZIP code but
2:00:45 whatever there you
2:00:47 go that was all generated
2:00:50 from that list we just had from or from
2:00:53 those recipes or you know the the meal
2:00:55 plan we just
2:00:56 had I've been greatly appreciating the
2:00:59 depth of your explanation oh that's
2:01:00 great so long seret I appreciate it cuz
2:01:03 I know I go on a lot but I mean to be
2:01:06 quite honest it's like there's a lot
2:01:09 here there's a lot to explore if you did
2:01:11 nothing else but pay 20 bucks a month
2:01:14 for cat GPT and just explored all of
2:01:17 what it could do you could transform
2:01:20 yourself in your business I'm I'm
2:01:22 absolutely convinced of that I'm not
2:01:24 only am I convinced of that I'm
2:01:25 witnessing it in real time in this
2:01:27 channel in this
2:01:29 community it's amazing all right so last
2:01:33 thing we're going to look at is Dolly 3
2:01:35 and and this one again is just [ __ ]
2:01:38 staggering it's like and then I'm going
2:01:41 to show you this um can two people use
2:01:43 the same paid chat GPT account I suppose
2:01:46 if you if you share the same password
2:01:49 sure
2:01:50 but I don't know I don't know if you can
2:01:51 run it at the same time but I
2:01:57 possibly ever since they used Kyle GPT I
2:02:00 got nine more wives in a beach
2:02:03 house you can make money
2:02:07 with never a d moment here to I
2:02:10 learnning lab y'all are awesome let's go
2:02:13 make some money
2:02:16 people all right so look
2:02:20 um with image generation tools most of
2:02:24 the time when people demo them for you
2:02:26 they talk about your need to prompt them
2:02:30 right what happens with Dolly 3 which it
2:02:33 it's image generation inside the context
2:02:36 of a chat GPT
2:02:38 conversation so I can just ask this to
2:02:41 make some images but I'm not going to do
2:02:42 that because I want to demo some
2:02:44 something
2:02:45 different is the nature of the
2:02:47 conversation that I'm going to that I'm
2:02:49 about to
2:02:53 have I'm
2:02:57 oops I'm launching a new
2:03:00 business
2:03:02 that rehabilitates old rechargeable
2:03:05 batteries for power
2:03:08 tools and I need to come up with a name
2:03:12 of the company a
2:03:15 tagline and some marketing ideas period
2:03:20 I want you to act
2:03:22 as a business consultant and master
2:03:26 branding
2:03:30 specialist period Please tell
2:03:39 me the three most important things I
2:03:42 need to know for my
2:03:47 brand all right
2:03:52 so so check out so so one of the things
2:03:54 that chbt does that I think is actually
2:03:58 important for us as humans is the way
2:04:00 it's been
2:04:01 programmed so I give it this whatever
2:04:04 thin shitty idea right and look at its
2:04:07 response certainly launching a business
2:04:09 that rehabilitates old rechargeable
2:04:11 batteries for power tools is a timely
2:04:14 and sustainable Venture like it gives
2:04:17 positive reinforcement it's like this
2:04:19 it's like having like a Golden Retriever
2:04:20 as a creative partner it's like oh it it
2:04:23 really is timely and sustainable isn't
2:04:25 it you know um so value and positioning
2:04:29 uh trust and and and uh emotional
2:04:34 connection suggested company name Revolt
2:04:37 battery Solutions tagline powering
2:04:39 tomorrow preserving today marketing
2:04:41 ideas educational content loyalty
2:04:43 program partnership okay so there's all
2:04:46 that stuff great so great I'm going to
2:04:48 say
2:04:51 great I love your ideas can you now
2:04:54 describe three different visual concepts
2:04:59 for a logo for the
2:05:01 business and then I'll choose one before
2:05:04 we make any
2:05:08 images of course here are three distinct
2:05:10 visual concepts ecos circuitry visualize
2:05:14 a battery shape where where one half
2:05:15 showcases circuitry the other is green
2:05:18 leaves the power Arc classic B battery
2:05:22 with Dynamic arting lightning bolt
2:05:24 coming out of its Center the Eternal
2:05:26 Loop a battery position
2:05:28 vertically forms an infinite Loop okay
2:05:31 we like Eternal Loop so I'm just going
2:05:33 to
2:05:37 say great let me see number three and be
2:05:40 sure to include the company name and
2:05:42 [Music]
2:05:46 tagline as part of the logo
2:05:51 I shouldn't put a tagline in the logo
2:05:53 but that's okay if we don't like it we
2:05:55 can tell it we don't like it okay now
2:05:57 okay so now
2:05:58 notice it came up with the concept for
2:06:01 my business I could have said I don't
2:06:03 like that I want to do more I could have
2:06:04 spent an hour just like
2:06:07 refining the business right but I didn't
2:06:10 I just said great go do that and then
2:06:12 and then it came up with marketing ideas
2:06:14 and I picked one I didn't type anything
2:06:16 and I just went like go with number
2:06:18 three and now it's writing its own
2:06:20 prompts and it's generating these
2:06:26 logos and so we should see them here
2:06:35 shortly come on there we
2:06:39 go here are the two
2:06:43 things Revolt battery
2:06:48 Solutions
2:06:51 so those are cool but they both look
2:06:54 like consumer batteries I'm going to
2:06:58 say I actually love the look and feel of
2:07:01 those but the batteries are more like
2:07:04 consumer batteries and I want
2:07:06 rechargeable batteries for power tools
2:07:09 so could you make it look more like a
2:07:11 power tool battery than a consumer
2:07:16 battery and so now it's going to go off
2:07:18 and do that now what is this
2:07:21 like if you've ever worked with an ad
2:07:24 agency or you've ever worked with an art
2:07:26 director or if you've ever done any
2:07:27 creative directing in your day this is
2:07:30 what it's like I'm like working with
2:07:33 this entity that is not a person but
2:07:36 it's super polite to me it's super
2:07:38 supportive it's generating these images
2:07:42 based on my input it created images that
2:07:45 were they were both certainly usable
2:07:49 they were both at least a starting point
2:07:51 for a logo and I said yeah but they're
2:07:54 not quite right do it
2:07:58 again there you go did it again revote
2:08:01 battery Solutions revote battery
2:08:04 Solutions I could launch this
2:08:08 business within an hour of having the
2:08:14 idea think about
2:08:17 that
2:08:22 I
2:08:24 mean you know one of the things that
2:08:26 that strikes me
2:08:28 about what's
2:08:31 happening what's happening in the
2:08:34 world
2:08:37 um let me keep that up there just
2:08:39 because it's
2:08:40 cool open image in new
2:08:44 tab oh it downloaded
2:08:47 it
2:08:55 so there's our cool there's our cool
2:08:58 business
2:09:03 um for
2:09:08 me the the the the phrase that keeps
2:09:11 popping into my head about what's
2:09:12 happening right now is what I'm calling
2:09:15 the gamification of
2:09:17 productivity I have an
2:09:20 idea and I can go from Whisper of an
2:09:23 idea just some kind of add [ __ ] fever
2:09:27 dream which you know with ADD you have
2:09:30 like 40 of those an
2:09:32 hour and I can go from fever dream to
2:09:35 some articulated version of that to a
2:09:38 logo to a
2:09:40 brand to a marketing campaign to a
2:09:44 website zip WP that Vicky shared with us
2:09:49 I could go to so I I can take that as my
2:09:51 logo I can go to zip WP and type in I
2:09:55 need a website actually maybe we should
2:09:57 oh I don't think I have access to it I
2:09:58 think it's just in beta right now damn
2:10:00 it but we could go to zip WP upload this
2:10:04 logo and say I've got a a company called
2:10:09 Revolt battery Solutions and describe
2:10:12 what it does build a website launch it
2:10:15 we could we could you could launch this
2:10:17 like as a launched business in two
2:10:21 hours from
2:10:25 nothing
2:10:28 so one of the one of the gauntlets I
2:10:32 think that we all need to go through
2:10:34 with this AI stuff is the existential
2:10:37 threat
2:10:39 Gauntlet which is okay I'm a copywriter
2:10:42 this thing writes copy really good oh
2:10:44 [ __ ] what do I do well you go learn what
2:10:47 this tool does really good right right
2:10:49 and so you go in and and and what you
2:10:51 realize is oh it's really good at that
2:10:53 and there's some advantages to it which
2:10:55 is oh I've still got my copyrighting
2:10:59 skills I can use this tool to accelerate
2:11:03 how I do what I do maybe do grammar
2:11:06 checking right so it it can actually
2:11:08 augment the work that you currently do
2:11:11 but then what happens is you kind of go
2:11:12 through
2:11:14 that and you go especially now that chat
2:11:17 gpt's gone multim mode with where you
2:11:19 can do all this other [ __ ] and you can
2:11:22 go oh I could make an image so not only
2:11:24 could I write the words because I can
2:11:26 write the words I could conceive of
2:11:28 ideas and then it can visualize them for
2:11:31 me so now so now all of a sudden you're
2:11:33 starting to play laterally right so if
2:11:37 you've been a copywriter for 20 years
2:11:39 and this is all you do it's all you
2:11:40 think about you love words words words
2:11:42 well now those words are a Gateway into
2:11:45 all these
2:11:46 other capabilities
2:11:50 talents where you might enjoy creating
2:11:52 imagery but you've never been good at it
2:11:54 like I did I never learned illustrator
2:11:56 or photoshop and I'm not good at
2:11:58 sketching okay now you
2:12:01 are and then you can start to do things
2:12:04 like well I've always wanted to do more
2:12:06 than just copyrighting but but I'm
2:12:09 really good at it and I stuck here but
2:12:10 now I can do this other thing and maybe
2:12:13 that turns into a whole new thing like I
2:12:14 feel like all of us are not only going
2:12:17 to be confronting the sort of
2:12:20 existential dread part of this but we're
2:12:23 also going to be confronting what if I
2:12:24 could do something
2:12:26 else and what if I could do it really
2:12:29 quickly what if I could try this this
2:12:32 business on for a month and see if it
2:12:35 takes off and if it doesn't come up with
2:12:38 another business and if that doesn't
2:12:40 come up with another
2:12:42 business you could do this every two
2:12:45 weeks Saturday is going to be my come up
2:12:47 with a new business
2:12:50 day why not well I'm not very good at at
2:12:55 how to reconstitute
2:12:57 batteries go ask cat gbt to build you a
2:13:00 a
2:13:03 tutorial I don't
2:13:06 know I mean it's just [ __ ] nuts isn't
2:13:08 it so anyway um the question was is Chad
2:13:12 GPT what's the difference between 3.5
2:13:14 and four and is it worth it I spent
2:13:17 probably the better part of an
2:13:19 hour just
2:13:21 unpacking what I'm just even what I'm
2:13:23 kind of imagining I could use chat gp4
2:13:26 for I I do not I do not in any way right
2:13:30 now just to be clear you know this
2:13:32 called the AI learning lab and I sit
2:13:34 here like I know what I'm talking about
2:13:35 I don't [ __ ] know what I'm talking
2:13:37 about I don't know
2:13:39 how we now have a tool that you can use
2:13:42 an image as a
2:13:45 prompt what does that mean I don't know
2:13:50 like I don't have a [ __ ]
2:13:54 clue you want to see something fun watch
2:13:58 this we're going to take this image I'm
2:14:01 I'm going to show you something fun
2:14:03 there there's a thing called um Dolly
2:14:07 round tripping that they're talking
2:14:09 about on Reddit so I just made those
2:14:11 those two I think I'm going to get this
2:14:13 one I like this one better let me
2:14:15 download this save this image as
2:14:20 battery to
2:14:23 desktop I'm going to go do a new
2:14:27 oops going do a new chat I'm going to go
2:14:30 back to chat GPT
2:14:32 default and I'm going to upload that
2:14:36 image so we just created a
2:14:40 logo is this it no that's the doggies
2:14:44 that's it powering tomorrow preserving
2:14:48 today
2:14:49 great I'm going to open that so I'm
2:14:53 uploading that image and I'm going to go
2:14:57 um please describe this in as much
2:14:59 detail as
2:15:06 possible so it's going to take
2:15:10 that Central elements the battery The
2:15:12 Branding it's labeled with bold right
2:15:15 white lettering that says
2:15:17 revolt above which is written battery
2:15:20 Solutions beneath Revolt there's smaller
2:15:23 white text indicating possibly its power
2:15:26 type reading plus 12 volts 50 amps amp
2:15:31 hours all right so I'm just going to now
2:15:34 copy
2:15:36 [Laughter]
2:15:39 this and I'm going to switch into the
2:15:41 new mode of
2:15:44 Del and I'm going to
2:15:47 say
2:15:49 please reimagine the image described
2:15:52 here and give me two unique options that
2:15:57 still capture the
2:15:59 essence of the image
2:16:06 described round tripping yeah what did I
2:16:11 say did I not say round
2:16:14 tripping or was that the Plus+ is like
2:16:17 yes round tripping cool of course
2:16:20 provide me with the description oh and
2:16:21 then I didn't I didn't give it the
2:16:23 description all right here's the
2:16:24 description there you go Dolly there's
2:16:27 your
2:16:28 [Music]
2:16:36 description all right well that's doing
2:16:38 that let's go look at Discord into the
2:16:41 Irregulars Channel there's some some
2:16:43 cool stuff being shared in the regulars
2:16:45 you regulars are so creative
2:16:49 oh those are nice Joker nice images what
2:16:53 else we got here those that's joker as
2:16:58 well that's forever hooked did those
2:17:01 things which are super great Silver Fox
2:17:04 with the beautiful fall beautiful fall
2:17:07 imagery very
2:17:09 nice Ted looks at life killing
2:17:12 it there's jrc oh yeah that's that thing
2:17:16 we looked at this earlier larnos
2:17:20 wait jery I shared this we need
2:17:23 bowls for this big for cereal that's
2:17:26 good oh that's nice Ted looks at life oh
2:17:29 that's
2:17:31 cool
2:17:33 nice cuno jaago that's what your name is
2:17:36 I've got to give you access I got to
2:17:37 give you a different role wait hang on
2:17:39 let me do it
2:17:40 now can I do it
2:17:43 yeah all right now you're a mod in the
2:17:45 Discord as
2:17:47 well
2:17:51 someone's doing the battery thing Ted
2:17:52 looks at life cool all right so let's go
2:17:55 see here's our two
2:17:58 unique oh that's cool so so now it
2:18:00 created Revolt battery Solutions it's
2:18:02 like a battery with [ __ ] growing out of
2:18:04 it that's actually pretty
2:18:06 cool so and so now I could take these
2:18:10 and go back and have it wait can you say
2:18:12 what round tripping is yes I can so so
2:18:16 round tripping so I'll do it again
2:18:20 so I had Del create a logo for a
2:18:24 business I then took the output of that
2:18:26 into chat GPT vision and I had it
2:18:30 describe the logo and then I went back
2:18:32 to DOI and I said reimagine whatever is
2:18:36 described here so now I'm going to do it
2:18:37 again let me take I I think this one's
2:18:39 got the cooler style so now I'm going to
2:18:41 take
2:18:47 this
2:18:49 I'm going to call it battery
2:18:56 2 and I'm going to do a new
2:18:59 chat and I'm going to go back to default
2:19:02 mode so I'm going to go back to GPT
2:19:04 Vision so this is the round tripping
2:19:06 part so so I started with a description
2:19:08 of an image I turned it into an image
2:19:10 now I'm going to take that image I'm
2:19:11 going to go back and have chat GPT
2:19:14 describe this second
2:19:16 image
2:19:20 please describe this in as much detail
2:19:22 as
2:19:25 possible and so there's what it's
2:19:28 [Laughter]
2:19:37 describing forever hooked ah the power
2:19:39 to change someone's role in life is good
2:19:41 to be a god me thinks I I mean seriously
2:19:45 I these tools are going to allow us
2:19:51 to it I like I just I just keep going
2:19:54 back to this thing like they're giving
2:19:55 us [ __ ]
2:19:57 superpowers like I got I've
2:20:00 got world class [ __ ] add right and
2:20:04 and just by its nature it means that the
2:20:07 amount of [ __ ] that escapes the crazy
2:20:09 straw of my brain and and actually turns
2:20:11 into something in the world is
2:20:14 like a small percentage of the ideas
2:20:17 that I have
2:20:19 and it and it gets stopped for for like
2:20:21 just a myriad of reasons you know from
2:20:24 self-esteem to just just disorganization
2:20:27 to to lack of focus to like all that
2:20:29 [ __ ] right and with this tool I can like
2:20:33 what these lives in a lot of ways are
2:20:35 are me just sort of taking that the
2:20:39 speed of ADHD brain and being able to
2:20:43 dump it into this tool with with with
2:20:46 zero zero
2:20:49 um real effort and it generates amazing
2:20:53 [ __ ] so now I'm going to grab this
2:20:58 description so it described that image
2:21:01 and so now I'm going to do new
2:21:03 chat and I'm going to go to
2:21:06 do I'm going to
2:21:08 say please reimagine the image described
2:21:15 below described below
2:21:20 oh I didn't I didn't put it in again of
2:21:22 course please give me a description see
2:21:24 there's your add right
2:21:28 there we need
2:21:30 capes yeah exactly we do we need capes
2:21:34 exactly actually Silver Fox that's that
2:21:37 that needs to be the next pile of images
2:21:39 okay so if if if you haven't been in
2:21:42 here regularly so um hedgehogs Turtles
2:21:46 llamas and gummy bears are sort of the
2:21:48 spirit animals of this live there's
2:21:51 there's a lot of history behind it but
2:21:54 let's make some images of those four
2:21:56 animals personified with um with capes
2:22:01 superhero all right so here's now these
2:22:04 have gotten oh they're getting they're
2:22:07 getting all um
2:22:10 steampunk alth although that's pretty
2:22:14 futuristic so now we lost our we
2:22:17 actually lost the words on these
2:22:23 two and and so what I'm what I'm going
2:22:25 to actually say here
2:22:27 is
2:22:30 um we lost The Branding period the brand
2:22:33 here is called Revolt
2:22:35 battery
2:22:37 please recreate these images where the
2:22:40 batteries have the Revolt logo on
2:22:46 them
2:22:50 but now if you think about so so here's
2:22:52 another here's
2:22:54 another thing about this for the
2:22:59 past nine or 10
2:23:01 months what we've heard a lot about if
2:23:03 you've been paying attention to this AI
2:23:05 stuff at all is you've got to be a
2:23:07 prompt engineer become a prompt engineer
2:23:09 prompt engineer is the job of the
2:23:12 future I'm not really prompting right
2:23:15 here I'm having a I'm having a creative
2:23:19 conversation and this thing is prompting
2:23:22 itself
2:23:26 so boom
2:23:28 instant It's [ __ ] amazing [ __ ]
2:23:33 jrc within within 30 seconds of we
2:23:36 should make gummy bears with capes
2:23:42 boom
2:23:46 amazing
2:23:49 it's crazy I tell you crazy I tell you
2:23:54 just nuts fantastic fantastic Bob tell
2:23:57 him what he's want you want a new
2:24:01 car there you go there's our Revolt
2:24:03 thing so so now we have this you know
2:24:05 completely different
2:24:09 um image compared
2:24:12 to wait where was
2:24:16 it
2:24:21 where did we start we started
2:24:26 there and we ended there with two with
2:24:29 two round trips right we took that we
2:24:32 had chat GPT described that we then took
2:24:35 that description made a thing we had it
2:24:39 described that and then we made another
2:24:41 thing and then we did one change on
2:24:46 that and you're telling me when when
2:24:49 someone says to you oh but AI can't be
2:24:52 creative
2:24:55 really
2:24:58 really
2:25:01 really can't I can't be creative thank
2:25:04 you Silver Fox thank you thank you thank
2:25:07 you thank you so
2:25:08 much can't be creative my
2:25:12 ass I I have never
2:25:15 been more oh silver fo thank you so much
2:25:18 it means a lot um I've never been more
2:25:23 inspired more creatively alive I am so
2:25:26 full of ideas right
2:25:29 now look at
2:25:33 this Sherry D with with the
2:25:37 Irregulars this is like we we can sell
2:25:40 little
2:25:41 characters you know you know you know
2:25:43 what's funny Sherry we're we're not that
2:25:46 far
2:25:48 from being able to like 3D print things
2:25:52 in multiple colors where there's
2:25:54 Services that'll just generate this and
2:25:57 and we're also not that far from being
2:25:58 able to take a 2D image like this and
2:26:00 turn it into 3D models like like we're
2:26:03 within spitting distance of being able
2:26:06 to create a stupid like instant image
2:26:08 like this and go oh those are cute I'd
2:26:11 like to have them on my
2:26:13 desk out it
2:26:16 comes
2:26:17 I Vicki I 3D print in multiple colors
2:26:20 there you
2:26:23 go like we're really not that
2:26:26 far I think I pooped
2:26:32 memory digital
2:26:39 Gods AI is entertainment remember what I
2:26:42 was saying earlier about the
2:26:43 gamification of
2:26:46 productivity how close are we to eating
2:26:48 them do you know we're not that far
2:26:51 right there there's 3D printers right
2:26:52 now that you can you can 3D print in
2:26:55 foods and I think that technology will
2:26:58 get to the point that you know yeah spin
2:27:01 me up a
2:27:03 marzipan gummy
2:27:06 right it'll be on your doorstep the next
2:27:08 morning or within four hours right the
2:27:10 Drone will just drop it off collect them
2:27:13 all exactly you can make money with time
2:27:18 but well seriously oh cool there's a a
2:27:21 cool thing from Herod reil all right
2:27:24 herod's now showing off with his Laura
2:27:26 with the that's a much better Revolt
2:27:29 logo than the ones I did Herod I'll give
2:27:31 you that listen listen buddy just cuz
2:27:34 you made a stable diffusion thing that
2:27:36 can do text and you've got some kickass
2:27:39 you
2:27:40 know fonts in there to start with I'll
2:27:43 give you that
2:27:44 I I support your I support your efforts
2:27:49 to drive my cute little Eco batteries
2:27:53 into the ground I'd much rather buy from
2:27:55 that company than this one but still
2:27:58 Different
2:28:04 Strokes Herod thank you for conceding
2:28:11 Kyle a fair gentleman and Scholar indeed
2:28:14 sir
2:28:16 indeed
2:28:18 oh man thank you hair growth geek um
2:28:22 hair growth geek I can't turn my brain
2:28:24 off after these sessions that I can't
2:28:26 sleep I know I'm the same way I made a
2:28:30 pick that said I will only communicate
2:28:34 with images from now on exactly I love I
2:28:38 think I
2:28:42 pooped oh my God this community is the
2:28:45 best oh
2:28:47 [Laughter]
2:28:54 wow crazy isn't it is this not
2:28:59 crazy all right AI apps that engage
2:29:03 users right and left brain activities
2:29:05 Firefly that's a big one that's a big
2:29:08 one think about this what what we're
2:29:10 doing right here is I could go from very
2:29:15 analytical you know
2:29:17 give me the 27 attributes of a business
2:29:20 plan and write the business
2:29:23 plan oh I don't have a name for this
2:29:25 business oh [ __ ] I got to go into
2:29:26 creative brainstorming
2:29:28 mode bang oh can you help me come up
2:29:31 with names
2:29:33 sure and those names are not just out of
2:29:36 the thin air they're in the context of
2:29:39 the 27 points of your business plan so
2:29:43 it understands that and then it just it
2:29:45 immediately flips into right
2:29:48 brain and then you're like oh but I've
2:29:51 got to I've got to see you know which
2:29:54 colors for a logo um most represent you
2:29:58 know the emotional impact of the
2:30:00 business you go back into analytical
2:30:02 mode and it's like okay pink and green
2:30:05 oh that wouldn't be what I check but the
2:30:07 that's what the data tells me flip back
2:30:09 over okay give me pink and green
2:30:11 versions of that boom boom boom
2:30:15 boom
2:30:18 you're telling me this stuff this this
2:30:20 is just fancy Google you're telling me
2:30:22 this stuff isn't going to transform
2:30:26 everything the more I play with this
2:30:28 stuff the more I'm convinced that
2:30:30 everything is up for grabs everything
2:30:32 how we Define work what businesses are
2:30:35 how businesses are constituted how long
2:30:38 they
2:30:39 last who populates them who's required
2:30:42 to populate
2:30:45 them
2:30:52 oh source Camp look what source Camp's
2:30:54 doing they're so
2:31:00 sweet that's very sweet they're all
2:31:03 drinking like their Starbucks Mocha
2:31:05 lattes their
2:31:13 Frappuccinos that's so cute I want one
2:31:17 of those coffees oh it's iced coffee cuz
2:31:19 I drink iced coffee look I've been going
2:31:21 so long all my ice
2:31:26 melted if you're asking why do I drink
2:31:29 oh it's a full moon tonight no wonder I
2:31:30 feel so batshit crazy I feel Looney
2:31:32 tonight Looney l n
2:31:37 right I feel literally Looney apparently
2:31:40 my problem tomorrow morning I forget all
2:31:43 of the wait what was that again someone
2:31:45 put uh pinned that again I did I lost
2:31:47 that right at the
2:31:50 end um what constitutes creativity my
2:31:53 problem tomorrow morning I forget all
2:31:54 the ideas I had while I lay in bed
2:31:56 watching this just keep coming back
2:31:59 that's that's the thing um oh well look
2:32:01 at your name Athena Luna it's this is
2:32:03 your night
2:32:06 um just keep coming back I mean do you
2:32:10 do you remember the Jay Leno commercial
2:32:12 the Doritos commercial where he's like
2:32:14 eat all you want we'll make more
2:32:21 um there there's
2:32:27 nothing I'm finding a thing happening
2:32:30 which is which
2:32:32 is
2:32:34 um it's
2:32:40 weird I'm getting a lot less precious
2:32:43 about ideas and
2:32:45 executions and here's what I mean by
2:32:48 that if historically so let's take that
2:32:50 Revolt battery idea so so let's
2:32:54 say pre November 30th
2:32:58 2022 or or even really pre this past
2:33:01 month a year ago if I had an idea for
2:33:04 that battery Rehabilitation company and
2:33:07 I was serious about it first of all I'd
2:33:09 have to be serious about
2:33:11 it because I'd have to research it we
2:33:15 are so optimistic I am you don't have to
2:33:17 be Joseph Joseph Baker but I am um and
2:33:23 you know what's funny is I I'm not
2:33:25 blindly optimistic like I get that these
2:33:28 tools there's dark sides to them there's
2:33:31 downsides to them they're not perfect
2:33:33 but the more I'm experiencing not only
2:33:37 these tools but but this community kind
2:33:40 of flourishing within them the more I'm
2:33:43 convinced that that this is I've already
2:33:46 bought the URL that's awesome that's
2:33:49 really
2:33:50 awesome um that's really
2:33:52 good
2:33:55 um if I had if I had historically
2:33:58 pursued the Revolt battery thing like
2:34:00 one of the first things I do if I came
2:34:01 up with the name if I came up with the
2:34:03 name for one thing I'd go get the
2:34:06 URL I'd probably spend a week or two
2:34:11 writing copy thinking about the website
2:34:14 doing this I'd probably spend another
2:34:16 two or three weeks [ __ ] around with
2:34:17 the website or maybe I've got to hire
2:34:19 someone that I'm like oh I got to have a
2:34:21 better logo than that maybe I hire
2:34:23 someone on Fiverr to do the
2:34:25 thing so let's say if I'm decently
2:34:28 productive six weeks after I have the
2:34:32 idea I could launch that business that's
2:34:35 a six week investment of my time and
2:34:38 passion and
2:34:41 energy and I just spun that thing up in
2:34:45 15 minutes here here on the
2:34:48 channel like like I'm now starting to
2:34:50 shift into this place where like I can
2:34:53 come up I can realize an idea fairly
2:34:58 completely and just try it on in the
2:35:02 world and I and I put it out there and
2:35:04 I'm like here's my new business and it
2:35:07 just oh [ __ ] it here's another one put
2:35:10 it out in the world yeah [ __ ] it here's
2:35:14 another one oh it takes off oh that's
2:35:18 exciting maybe I'm going to go do that
2:35:19 now best practices on this channel are
2:35:22 to do lat crunches and sink with Kyle's
2:35:26 prompts I need to do some [ __ ] lat
2:35:29 [Laughter]
2:35:34 crunches um yeah I know there's a lot of
2:35:36 sitting around here my workshop students
2:35:39 Source Camp are having convos with
2:35:42 friends family and Reporting back to me
2:35:45 so many are scared so many are scared
2:35:48 empathy
2:35:51 this
2:35:54 Salon I think it's the most important
2:35:56 one is
2:36:00 empathy it's
2:36:01 not geek
2:36:04 out it's
2:36:09 not it's not this you can make money
2:36:13 with it's
2:36:15 this
2:36:17 this shit's
2:36:21 scary because change is scary and when
2:36:24 you actually start to get your head
2:36:26 around what these tools make possible
2:36:28 Joseph Baker I am optimistic it's
2:36:31 interesting because so many in this
2:36:33 world are not at this time
2:36:36 exactly you know who's not optimistic
2:36:39 about this right now well there there's
2:36:41 some people that understand some of
2:36:44 the some of the risks
2:36:47 and I wouldn't call them not optimistic
2:36:49 I would say they understand the risks
2:36:51 but there's a tremendous amount of
2:36:54 people a tremendous amount of people
2:36:57 that are ignorant of what the tools are
2:37:00 and they're afraid of them based on what
2:37:03 they think they are not what what they
2:37:05 actually are and the whole purpose of
2:37:07 this channel is to
2:37:11 demystify and and kind of break those
2:37:13 preconceived notions so that people just
2:37:16 play and just experience it because once
2:37:19 you experience
2:37:21 it that that fear the veil of that kind
2:37:25 of lifts
2:37:26 away and so as you experience people as
2:37:29 you share these tools with people and
2:37:32 they're afraid or they're
2:37:34 angry play with those
2:37:39 things
2:37:41 um have empathy for
2:37:43 them thank you Stacy
2:37:52 all
2:37:55 right okay he's back I must have Frozen
2:37:58 did I
2:38:01 freeze I bet the battery died on his
2:38:03 phone no am I still here tap the heart
2:38:06 button if I'm still
2:38:11 here all right well I got one heart two
2:38:15 three okay
2:38:16 all right good I'm
2:38:19 good all right six months ago I was like
2:38:21 great I've got to learn prompt
2:38:23 engineering now it's okay let's play
2:38:26 that's it Papa JJ
2:38:30 absolutely yes yes
2:38:34 that
2:38:38 yeah here let me let me get there's
2:38:40 another one of my favorite images here
2:38:43 oh forever hooked oh that's cool that
2:38:46 that was good in Halloweeny I like that
2:38:49 one and thank you for those gifts they
2:38:51 make a difference this this uh this
2:38:54 image AI Anonymous with with all the
2:38:58 llamas and turtles sitting around the
2:39:01 the uh the circle hi my name is Kyle I'm
2:39:04 into AI hi Kyle it's been three minutes
2:39:07 since I've made an image in Dolly I've
2:39:10 been there I'm afraid of the risks but
2:39:13 know that I'll be happily busy with
2:39:15 using these tools till my last
2:39:18 breath yeah hey if nothing
2:39:22 else we get to have some fun playing
2:39:24 with these tools we might get to
2:39:26 reinvent ourselves we might get to
2:39:28 ReDiscover like one of the one of the
2:39:29 common themes I'm hearing as I'm talking
2:39:31 to people
2:39:33 is that what what they're sharing with
2:39:36 me is they're rediscovering
2:39:39 Joy like the joy of possibility the joy
2:39:42 of Reinventing yourself the joy of
2:39:44 learning something new
2:39:47 like if you think
2:39:48 about I mean I think we've all had this
2:39:52 experience you meet someone who's really
2:39:54 good at Photoshop and you're like oh my
2:39:56 God photoshop's so amazing I want to go
2:39:58 learn Photoshop and then you go spend
2:40:00 250 bucks or whatever the hell it is
2:40:02 these days and you get Photoshop and you
2:40:05 get in there and you realize oh my God
2:40:08 like the tool is like massively
2:40:11 complicated and then just to learn how
2:40:13 to select stuff and change stuff and
2:40:16 remember where any of the menus are you
2:40:17 could there's this whole sort of
2:40:19 technical Gauntlet you have to go
2:40:21 through and then you take the time to
2:40:23 learn all that [ __ ] and then you realize
2:40:25 oh [ __ ] I'm not
2:40:29 talented or like I can't draw or you
2:40:32 know um when did you first discover the
2:40:35 AI learning lab oh that's a that's a
2:40:36 cool uh a cool survey pleasa please fill
2:40:39 that out that's awesome oh my God
2:40:40 there's some cool images coming in here
2:40:42 let me show them to you
2:40:45 um
2:40:47 but but like it it's like it's like now
2:40:52 it's like you just get to you just get
2:40:54 to instantly get there you you don't
2:40:57 have to go through
2:40:58 that that Gauntlet of months or
2:41:01 sometimes years of just getting to the
2:41:04 point where you feel like okay I can
2:41:07 make an image that doesn't embarrass
2:41:10 me have you ever listened there's a
2:41:12 really good Ira Glass maybe I'll go find
2:41:15 it well wait let me let me show you some
2:41:17 images I'm going to go I'm going to go
2:41:19 play this Ira Glass thing it's one of my
2:41:21 favorite of his
2:41:24 things
2:41:26 nice the Knight giving a fist
2:41:28 [Laughter]
2:41:31 bump Ted looks at
2:41:34 life full moon
2:41:44 people these are [ __ ] awesome um I'm
2:41:48 go to find this Ira Glass thing that's
2:41:50 one of my
2:41:52 favorite favorite
2:42:00 [Music]
2:42:02 things oh wa I got my keyboard down here
2:42:05 I don't have to reach in front of the
2:42:06 camera
2:42:10 YouTube I'm going do Ira
2:42:14 Glass t
2:42:23 least two
2:42:28 minutes what if I told you that you can
2:42:31 use motion to improve your videos fast
2:42:33 for
2:42:36 example nobody uh tells people who are
2:42:39 beginners and I really somebody had told
2:42:41 this to me is that um all of us who do
2:42:44 creative work like you know we get into
2:42:45 it and we get into it because we have
2:42:47 good taste but it's like there's a gap
2:42:49 that for the first couple years that
2:42:50 you're making stuff what you're making
2:42:52 isn't so good okay it's not that great
2:42:55 it's it's trying to be good it has
2:42:56 ambition to good but it's not quite that
2:42:58 good but your taste the thing that got
2:43:00 you into the game you're your taste is
2:43:01 still killer and your taste is good
2:43:03 enough that you can tell that what
2:43:04 you're making is kind of a
2:43:06 disappointment to you you know what I
2:43:07 mean a lot of people never get past that
2:43:10 phase a lot of people at that point they
2:43:11 quit yep and the thing I I would just
2:43:13 like say to you with all my heart is
2:43:15 that
2:43:16 most everybody I know who does
2:43:19 interesting creative work they went
2:43:20 through a phase of years where they had
2:43:23 really good taste they could tell what
2:43:24 they were making wasn't as good as they
2:43:26 wanted it to be they knew it felt short
2:43:28 it didn't have this special thing that
2:43:30 we wanted it to have and the thing I
2:43:32 would say to you is everybody goes
2:43:34 through that and for you to go through
2:43:35 it if you're going through it right now
2:43:36 if you're just getting out of that phase
2:43:38 you got to know it's totally normal and
2:43:40 the most important possible thing you
2:43:42 could do is do a lot of work do a huge
2:43:44 volume of work put your yourself on a
2:43:46 deadline so that every week or every
2:43:47 month you know you're going to finish
2:43:49 one story because it's only by actually
2:43:51 going through a volume of work that
2:43:53 you're actually going to C catch up and
2:43:55 close that Gap and your the work you're
2:43:57 making will be as good as your Ambitions
2:44:00 in my case like I I took longer to
2:44:03 figure out how to do this than anybody
2:44:06 I've ever
2:44:07 met it takes a while it's going to take
2:44:10 you a while it's normal to take a while
2:44:12 and you just have to fight your way
2:44:14 through that
2:44:17 okay um I want to go back to one spot
2:44:20 here in Creative work they went through
2:44:22 a phase of years where they had really
2:44:25 good taste they could tell
2:44:28 what who does interesting creative work
2:44:31 they went through a phase of
2:44:34 years went through a phase of
2:44:39 years so if you've ever tried to do a
2:44:42 new thing and this is this is Malcolm
2:44:45 gladwell's 10,000 hours
2:44:48 right from from
2:44:51 outliers that to to gain some level of
2:44:55 expertise you have to put in your 10,000
2:44:58 hours I think the 10,000 hour rule is
2:45:02 dead there are some things maybe things
2:45:05 that require physical dexterity where
2:45:08 that's still
2:45:09 there but with all this knowledge work
2:45:11 and all this creative
2:45:14 work if I
2:45:16 spent a month intensely focused in the
2:45:20 data analysis tool in GPT I could
2:45:24 probably be decently world class at data
2:45:31 analysis with with these
2:45:38 images with uh I can't start the poll
2:45:41 cuz cuz there's a a pinned
2:45:43 image as soon as that that goes away I
2:45:47 will start the poll there you go
2:45:52 um with Ali we can be making images
2:45:56 right now just by like whether You've
2:45:58 Got Talent or not you can just take
2:46:01 stupid ideas out of this conversation
2:46:03 and turn them into these things that are
2:46:06 that are good that are that that
2:46:09 actually passed this Ira Glass
2:46:12 test what are the implications of that
2:46:14 that we as human beings are shifting
2:46:17 from a mode where we have to spend years
2:46:23 suffering having better taste than our
2:46:26 ability to generate [ __ ] and all of a
2:46:28 sudden overnight we can now generate
2:46:32 things that meet or exceed our
2:46:37 taste holy
2:46:42 [ __ ] holy
2:46:44 [ __ ]
2:46:46 I hate writing but I'm over seven
2:46:48 chapters into a book there you go
2:46:51 [Laughter]
2:46:55 Joker the implications Herod the
2:46:58 implications are we can do what we
2:47:00 actually
2:47:01 enjoy what
2:47:04 if rather than us entering a dystopian
2:47:07 era where the robots are going to kill
2:47:09 us what if we're entering an era where
2:47:12 we can actually do the things that we
2:47:20 enjoy well how do we get paid for that I
2:47:23 don't know I don't know what work looks
2:47:25 like I don't know what businesses look
2:47:27 like at all because I think everything
2:47:31 changes I think these kind of
2:47:33 communities I think communities of
2:47:35 individuals collaborating sharing [ __ ]
2:47:39 oh did you learn how to do that oh [ __ ]
2:47:42 you know I always wanted to make a
2:47:43 flying car me too well let's go figure
2:47:46 out how to do that hey pie how do you
2:47:48 make an electric car okay here's your
2:47:50 shopping list that'll be at your garage
2:47:52 tomorrow okay I'll walk you through it
2:47:56 I'll even make you some tutorial videos
2:47:59 okay
2:48:03 great
2:48:06 that's that's a
2:48:08 plausible 3 to 5e technology like what I
2:48:12 just
2:48:13 described I want to do something
2:48:16 completely out of the realm of my
2:48:18 expertise but I always wanted to make a
2:48:20 flying car well now you can or you'll be
2:48:23 able
2:48:28 to what if things got
2:48:31 better what if these tools weren't
2:48:36 just giving us more productivity so we
2:48:39 could be a more efficient Cog in the
2:48:42 wheel or in the machine
2:48:47 what if they actually freed us from that
2:48:51 machine what if these tools
2:48:54 became the things that became the cogs
2:48:57 in the machine and free us up to as
2:49:01 Herod put it do what we really want to
2:49:03 do what would we do it would probably
2:49:06 look a lot different than what we're all
2:49:08 doing
2:49:11 today like I feel like I'm lucky on that
2:49:13 front cuz I'm an entrepreneur and I'm 11
2:49:16 years into a company that you know I
2:49:17 wanted to start like I feel that's like
2:49:20 of of all of the grind and and pain in
2:49:23 the ass of running your own
2:49:26 company at least what you can say is
2:49:29 you're doing something that you intended
2:49:30 to do right and I feel like that's a
2:49:34 massive
2:49:36 privilege what if more of us could do
2:49:38 that more
2:49:40 regularly 9010 rule used to be 90%
2:49:44 figuring out how and 10% creative now
2:49:46 that's reversed Source Camp that's
2:49:49 [ __ ]
2:49:52 huge that's [ __ ]
2:49:54 huge n 90% used to be the figuring it
2:50:00 out 10% used to be the doing it now
2:50:03 that's
2:50:06 reversed holy
2:50:10 [ __ ] instant idea manifestation Bang
2:50:14 Bang
2:50:16 bang I always wanted to write that book
2:50:18 but I'm not a good writer well now you
2:50:20 are well I don't have any ideas well now
2:50:23 you
2:50:24 do yeah but I'm not a business person
2:50:26 now you
2:50:28 are like it's like all those [ __ ]
2:50:30 excuses are gone it's like
2:50:37 sorry what do you do with that what do
2:50:40 you [ __ ] do with
2:50:44 that
2:50:50 who's that uh Joseph Baker I think I
2:50:52 think the oh there's some there's
2:50:54 something
2:51:00 uh I think the AI helps us learn things
2:51:03 too skills we want to learn
2:51:06 exactly and and Joseph not only not only
2:51:09 helps you learn the skills I think you
2:51:10 learn the skills in the doing but but
2:51:12 does the stuff like like
2:51:16 my my first real Epiphany with chat GPT
2:51:19 was like the week after it came out
2:51:21 where
2:51:22 where
2:51:24 I air quotes wrote a Python
2:51:29 program but I didn't write a line of
2:51:31 python not one line I edited a couple of
2:51:34 things because I could see what was in
2:51:37 there and I'm like oh I want to change
2:51:38 those
2:51:40 words but I didn't write like I don't
2:51:42 know I don't know python syntax ta like
2:51:45 I don't at
2:51:47 all but I've successfully written a
2:51:51 functional python
2:51:52 application so
2:51:56 it it sort of helped me Learn Python but
2:52:00 it did the
2:52:02 work I will issue everyone an
2:52:04 inheritance of forgiveness money and
2:52:06 teach you all
2:52:08 how to slowly gain Traction in the
2:52:13 marketplace hm I don't know what an
2:52:15 inheritance of forgiveness money
2:52:18 means are we here you can make money
2:52:28 with hi my name is Kyle I've been in AI
2:52:32 for two years now hi
2:52:38 Kyle it's been three days since I
2:52:40 started a business oh
2:52:43 congratulations
2:52:47 [Laughter]
2:52:52 I started my 17th profession this
2:52:54 year and maybe it happens fast enough to
2:52:57 hold the neuros spicy's attention till
2:52:59 it's complete I think it does I think it
2:53:02 does Silver
2:53:05 Fox like I've been I've been more
2:53:09 productive I've been more productive in
2:53:11 the past year in terms of ideas gotten
2:53:15 out of my head
2:53:18 and ideas
2:53:20 executed than ever in my life in the in
2:53:23 the past 11 months by
2:53:27 far by
2:53:30 far and I'm also more creatively
2:53:35 stimulated
2:53:37 and intellectually stimulated like I
2:53:40 want to learn
2:53:41 more I'm inspired again
2:53:46 like Co really [ __ ] me up like cuz I
2:53:48 get my energy from people
2:53:54 and like I felt like my company
2:53:59 became a series of to-do lists where
2:54:02 everyone was executing their to-do lists
2:54:05 in their remote little places and we
2:54:07 would sort of check in on [ __ ] Zoom
2:54:10 calls and basically go did you do your
2:54:12 checklist yeah I did my checklist did
2:54:14 you do your check list I I haven't
2:54:15 gotten to it yet why don't you do that
2:54:17 okay I'll do
2:54:19 that and like the sense of community and
2:54:22 the sense of bonding like all all of the
2:54:24 unspoken parts of the business
2:54:27 died and it just depressed the [ __ ] out
2:54:30 of
2:54:32 me and I feel like in the last year that
2:54:37 that that feeling has been slowly slowly
2:54:41 like leeching out of me and it's being
2:54:44 rep placed
2:54:46 with this sense of possibility I've
2:54:49 created more images in the last month
2:54:50 that I ever have in my life
2:54:53 yeah and and you don't have to get
2:54:55 precious about them right you can go oh
2:54:59 look at this and people go oh my God
2:55:00 that's amazing I'm like oh yeah did
2:55:02 check this one out that's amazing too
2:55:05 how are you doing this I got a thing you
2:55:08 want to see you want to make some come
2:55:12 on Herod with his with his Laura with
2:55:14 the [ __ ] cool
2:55:17 letters not only did he make an image he
2:55:19 made a Model A Laura that takes stable
2:55:23 diffusion that can't do letters and now
2:55:25 it does letters because of the thing he
2:55:37 made yeah I don't
2:55:41 know I'm getting like full moon
2:55:43 emotional on this tonight I really
2:55:50 am Jo Joker Joker they they I didn't
2:55:55 realize they had uh they had armored
2:55:58 boxing gloves back in back in the old
2:56:01 timey days buddy that's
2:56:04 fantastic I I've never seen one of those
2:56:07 in a
2:56:08 museum that's [ __ ]
2:56:13 awesome
2:56:15 it's amazing it's
2:56:20 amazing Vicky ug my internet went to
2:56:25 sleep let me go to show and tell let me
2:56:27 see what's going on in Show and
2:56:29 Tell Amelio's wife oh cool oh look
2:56:34 remember so so I said before maybe you
2:56:36 could take you know some of those
2:56:39 images um that we were doing in
2:56:42 U whatever it was called um
2:56:46 Skybox same prompt this is what it gave
2:56:50 me that's super
2:56:56 cool oh these are
2:56:59 cool look at
2:57:03 these been interpreting dreams for
2:57:05 friends with Dolly 3 oh that's such a
2:57:07 cool
2:57:08 idea I can now see what they
2:57:11 see they're Blown Away what
2:57:15 wow
2:57:17 wow
2:57:19 yeah I mean that would be a super cool
2:57:21 app to create wouldn't
2:57:23 it that it's just a it's actually okay
2:57:26 here's here's here's an app idea and
2:57:28 you're like but I don't know how to make
2:57:29 apps Kyle that's okay just have chat GPT
2:57:32 coded for you and have it teach you how
2:57:34 to launch it on the App Store
2:57:37 um create an
2:57:40 app that
2:57:43 um you can even incorporate it into the
2:57:46 screen saver and
2:57:47 iOS create an app that if you wake up
2:57:51 and remember a dream you just you
2:57:53 basically just hit the record button it
2:57:56 records your dream it records what you
2:57:58 say about your
2:57:59 dream and then it then generates a
2:58:02 report for you so you wake up in the
2:58:06 morning and it's like here's the
2:58:08 transcription of your dream here's the
2:58:10 analysis of your dream and here's four
2:58:13 images
2:58:14 or however many like here's a series of
2:58:17 images that represent your
2:58:20 dream how cool would that [ __ ] be
2:58:23 like you could build that today with
2:58:26 with
2:58:28 zappier or bubble or one of the one of
2:58:31 the no code
2:58:36 tools go build a dream
2:58:38 analyzer you wake up it's just a big red
2:58:41 button it's like dream talk you know say
2:58:46 what your dream was I I was I I was
2:58:50 dreamed I was walking down the street
2:58:51 and then I was in a little Robo and then
2:58:53 the Robbo sank and then I felt the water
2:58:56 squish over my face and I woke up and I
2:58:58 was scared click go back to bed and you
2:59:02 wake up in the morning like oh [ __ ] I
2:59:04 remember that
2:59:06 now that'd be
2:59:10 cool instant instant manifestation of
2:59:13 ideas
2:59:16 we're not there yet the tools are still
2:59:18 janky pieces of [ __ ] right you still got
2:59:20 to like like you know earlier someone
2:59:23 asked me what's the difference between
2:59:25 chat GPT and chat GPT 4 or 3.5 and four
2:59:29 and it took me an hour to explain just
2:59:31 even what's possible in chat gbt cuz I
2:59:34 can't shut the [ __ ]
2:59:35 up but it's deep there's a lot
2:59:43 there 2 years from now probably not even
2:59:46 18 months from now these things are all
2:59:48 going to be seamlessly integrated into a
2:59:51 single experience that is like you talk
2:59:55 what you want and [ __ ] will be
2:59:58 manifested you like if you think what
3:00:00 we're doing in this in these lives is it
3:00:02 all interesting holy [ __ ] 18 months from
3:00:05 now I keep trying to get my 21-year-old
3:00:08 son astrophysics major anime artist to
3:00:11 check out image gen yeah Gordon Gordon
3:00:14 to Spain I I don't I've got 23y old
3:00:16 twins upstairs I can't get them to
3:00:18 [ __ ] touch this stuff they're just so
3:00:20 cynical and know- it all either like
3:00:22 yeah D that's cool that's cool yeah yeah
3:00:24 my friends are talking about AI
3:00:26 sometimes that's cool
3:00:28 whatever I don't
3:00:30 know I got no [ __ ] parented advice
3:00:33 there I'm failing miserably on the get
3:00:35 the kids inspired
3:00:38 front like I [ __ ] go I I've been
3:00:41 going live three hours a night you know
3:00:43 for the the past four
3:00:45 months they're like it's cool whatever
3:00:48 man I don't you know I don't
3:00:54 know I think gen xers gen xers are going
3:00:56 to be [ __ ] baller at this stuff I
3:00:58 think we already are I think gen xers
3:01:00 are like doing all
3:01:04 right we have Herod d as our our uh our
3:01:09 Millennial representative I guess you're
3:01:11 Millennial right
3:01:13 Herod Kyle zappier what um so zapier is
3:01:17 an automation tool Mary Mary z a p i e
3:01:24 er.com where you kind of stick
3:01:27 components together so you can create
3:01:29 like a Google form so so the the dream
3:01:33 thing that I talked about you could
3:01:35 create a Google form that just has a
3:01:37 single text entry
3:01:40 box
3:01:42 and you could have that form on your
3:01:44 phone like the simple version of
3:01:47 this the wait just tell the kids they're
3:01:50 not allowed to use it yeah Watch What
3:01:51 Happens mom of two boys yeah exactly
3:01:54 exactly guys seriously don't ever use AI
3:01:57 you can't use it okay you got to unpin
3:02:00 unpin whatever that comment was and then
3:02:02 I'll I'll do the the uh
3:02:05 thing the pole the
3:02:10 pole unpin the comment there we go
3:02:15 genx is crushing it I don't know what
3:02:18 you
3:02:19 mean I know I outed you right
3:02:24 her um yeah all right listen it's
3:02:27 getting late it's late here for all of
3:02:29 us isn't it isn't it isn't it time isn't
3:02:32 it time we wind it on
3:02:35 down bot sheets oh someone was asking
3:02:37 about zapier um so so with zapier you
3:02:41 could make say a Google form and so in
3:02:44 appier you've got like a Google form
3:02:46 block and then you take the outputs of
3:02:48 that Google form and they go into the
3:02:50 next little Lego block and that might be
3:02:53 a a chat gbt block and you can take the
3:02:56 input of the form which might be the
3:02:57 description of the dream and then you
3:03:00 wrap that into a prompt that sends it
3:03:03 off to open AI to do some dream analysis
3:03:05 and then that comes back and then you
3:03:07 take that dream analysis and maybe you
3:03:09 turn that into some image prompts and
3:03:11 you send that to open AI to generate
3:03:14 some images and send that back and then
3:03:18 you assemble all of them into an HTML
3:03:21 email which chat GPT could write the
3:03:23 HTML for that
3:03:25 email and it'll send you an email so at
3:03:28 night you wake up your phone there's
3:03:31 your Google form you hit the little
3:03:33 microphone button you talk your dream
3:03:34 into it hit the submit button and go
3:03:36 back to
3:03:38 sleep you'd freak out if one day you
3:03:41 came into your office and they were
3:03:43 standing
3:03:45 there oh we were all standing there road
3:03:48 trip exactly it it'd be it'd be like one
3:03:52 of these one of these images with all
3:03:54 the uh all the Irregulars around the
3:03:56 campfire like
3:03:59 this
3:04:02 yeah a bunch of a bunch of janky
3:04:05 irregular humans getting together and
3:04:07 doing some cool [ __ ] well that's kind of
3:04:10 you know it's funny the the the image of
3:04:13 uh
3:04:15 um that I have for the AI Salon I'll
3:04:18 just I'll do one last little pass on
3:04:20 this this
3:04:25 image you know that that's the whole
3:04:27 idea of the AI Salon is just to be like
3:04:30 people from all walks of life like
3:04:32 people that shouldn't be on an adventure
3:04:34 together on an adventure together right
3:04:37 choosing to be on the adventure together
3:04:40 why
3:04:41 because we can and because because it's
3:04:44 here and
3:04:45 because this shit's happening to all of
3:04:48 us whether we choose to be on the
3:04:50 adventure or not so why
3:04:52 not get together with some like-minded
3:04:55 people that are just like [ __ ] it let's
3:04:58 go and see if we can get to the other
3:05:01 side of that
