30. 6:46see today I was given access or I was accepted into uh Runway ml's creative partner program that's a big [ __ ] deal as far as I'm concerned
31. 6:58because if in fact I think I got into the program because I made a comment about this Runway announced that they're doing
32. 7:12basically a a talent Network so they're turning into like a talent Clearing House like if you want to find someone to make good
33. 7:23movies you go to Runway to find the talent they're becoming talent agency and they also have this thing called
34. 7:31Runway watch which is like Netflix but for shows that used runway in some capacity and so they they they posted
35. 7:43about this Talent thing and I said I I posted on X I find it fascinating that a tool company is starting to act more
36. 7:49like an entertainment company in a talent agency um and I said something like you know while the other while the other AI
37. 7:59generating tools are you know getting better technically Runway is is playing the long game and I said bullish and
38. 8:07then the CEO the co-founder and CEO responded and uh and said Runway is not a is not a tool company we're an
39. 8:17entertainment and a media company and I was like [ __ ] yes that's that's like I mean first of all it's cool that the the
40. 8:24co-founder CEO did that um but like that's the [ __ ] right answer right you know you're you're in the Gold Rush
41. 8:31you're going to sell the piics and the shovels but you're also going to sell the jewelry that's made with the pxs and
42. 8:36the shovels that's pretty [Music] slick and don't forget Runway also cut a deal with Lion's gate so they're
43. 8:47training custom models on all of lion's Gates um IP so I'm hoping as someone in the creative partner program [Music]
44. 9:02prog when they need that [ __ ] tested come at us [Music]
45. 9:20baby um so that's super cool and so what that means the benefit to you there you're like well Great Kyle what does
46. 9:28that mean for you you get to go make movies and we just sit here twiddling our thumbs we don't get no extra

49. 9:52figure out some of this video stuff the problem with all these video tools right now is they're so expensive that you do
50. 9:5810 or 12 generations and you're out of [ __ ] credits you can't learn like that so we'll learn together we'll do it live we'll do it [Music]

58. 11:58just step over it I I there's not a lot of climbing to do to do better than what he does in there so I think that's it I

63. 12:54subscription hoping the entertainment value would uh would would increase at some point um so yeah so I'm saving I'm
64. 13:04saving that money um unfortunately I spend that now on AI subscription so yeah I don't know how to use anything

71. 14:11to it are pretty low but but I have the idea at least here's one of my fears of being in Creative partner programs like I'm in
72. 14:21the Luma Labs creative partner program now I'm in the runway creative partner program part of the deal about being in
73. 14:27a creative partner program is you gotta [ __ ] create and here's the problem I was talking with Cindy [ __ ] about this today
74. 14:36when you go to create if you have ADD most of the challenge is figuring out if you can create something right
75. 14:45and the minute you answer it yes you get bored of it and don't want to do that anymore which kind of flies in the face of go make a bunch of
76. 14:55[ __ ] so I think we're going to use I finally have an idea for what to use the 01 reasoning engine for so we're going to
77. 15:05go into chat GPT 4 and I'm gonna just vomit out a bunch of criteria I've got add whenever I finish something I don't
78. 15:14feel like working on it anymore I want to make it this I'm in this creative partner program right we're going to do all that right and
79. 15:23then I'm going to tell it to write a prompt for 01 and I'm going to have 01 come up with a strategy for a a media
80. 15:34project that is designed to keep me interested Beyond just you know the two hours of endorphin rush I get from like
81. 15:44I figured out how to do something with AI hey Ma Ma [Music]
82. 16:00how many credits did we win we get like 2, 2500 a month and a base of a million a million credits basically it's basically
83. 16:16unlimited the other thing like the other thing I want to vomit into into chat GPT is things like you know I want I want some
84. 16:25characters that that repeat and talk but I probably want some voiceover stuff because you know getting people to talk
85. 16:34is not great even though we have act one that we'll play with we can now play with it a lot like I want I want to put I want to
86. 16:42I want to put in all the Jank of just AI storytelling and have it design a project for us that uses all sorts of
87. 16:53different things like like there could be a section of the story that's like a slideshow where we just take still images out of
88. 17:01mid journey and just kind of Ken Burns affect them I don't know I don't know yet I don't know do a mini musical well we could do a mini
89. 17:10musical um so one of the things let me show you something I I actually have news on the musical too I can't say a lot of details

107. 20:53know Sydney trying to figure out how to be alive there's another section where she kind of loses es her mind and she goes into this Carnival

109. 21:22rules so like all these Graphics need to be created right for the for the actual show and and one of the things that
110. 21:31could potentially [ __ ] can this show is if someone reads the script they're going to be like this is going to cost
111. 21:37us a [ __ ] fortune in vid video visual special effects people making all these crazy ass special effects well [ __ ] it
112. 21:47we can make them right like we can make them on this channel so so one of the things that we could do in here is we
113. 21:53could we could basically do music videos for the songs of Sydney and and just put together all the graphics that might end
114. 22:01up on the on the thing um here's my problem my problem of doing real work on the live Is that real work is
115. 22:16boring Andrew and I my writing partner and I this past Sunday this the script is done so right now we're just
116. 22:23fine-tuning the script and now we're moving on to the songs we're we're you know fixing lyrics and and [ __ ] like
117. 22:28that so the very first song the opening verse was just shitty it was something that sunno wrote it was just shitty and
118. 22:35we we always talked about fixing it we spent 90 minutes in sunno and in chat GPT trying to get it to make the lyrics
119. 22:46that Andrew wrote working and then it it was just it it was just boring it was boring so so I'm reticent about doing
120. 22:56real work when I just do [ __ ] work and it doesn't matter what we're doing then then it's easier but I don't know
121. 23:03we'll see I'm listen I'm not I am not married to any any particular way of being or way of working I will try anything but Tik Tock

126. 23:54want different looks and feels because Sydney the chatbot represents all of humanity right she's the reflection of
127. 24:02all of humanity so she can take on any [ __ ] style she wants so that's actually a really interesting thought

146. 27:39for um like 30 years and has been is not a producer but like represents you know represents them and things like that and like knows lots of
147. 27:53people and represents lots of people and has participated in a lot of shows that have gone to Broadway and Big
148. 28:03Shows and so we had a really good call with him we were only scheduled for 30 minutes we went longer than an
149. 28:11hour um and he's willing to make an intro into a big New York City Theater that there's like there's like three or four major
150. 28:24theaters in New York that are not Broadway that are like Workshop like where Broadway shows Workshop if you get in one of those like
151. 28:34it's a big [ __ ] deal so he's connected to one of those so ain't nothing happening yet but it was promising that we might at least get an

177. 34:27you are in the world probably accept Europe they probably blocked Europe even on WhatsApp I feel bad for the Europeans but you
178. 34:39know I hope our our politicians get the clue to not make the same mistakes that Europe made with AI regulation anyway
179. 34:48um you call this up right now it's it's rate limited to 15 minutes a month so it's it's very very very small

191. 36:57if you think about what chat GPT is with real-time voice it can understand any language champ what is the whining I'm trying to
192. 37:09be a professional here and in the background it's like what what what you're normally such a good boy do you got a poop is this a
193. 37:22poop thing do you got to go out you got to poop this oh oh this is a poop thing this is not cheese this is far more
194. 37:31serious people hold please come on all right I think it's he's
195. 37:53got e e e e e um so what struck me about 1800 chat GPT is one they [ __ ] thought of it it's just brilliant
196. 38:10um they said at the end of the announcement that this this product that they just launched as part of 12 days of
197. 38:18ship Miss um was conceived in a in an internal hackathon a couple of weeks ago so this is a product you could you they
198. 38:26registered the phone number and the WhatsApp number a couple of weeks ago and got it bulletproof enough to launch to the
199. 38:35world in a couple of weeks so I think one of the reasons we didn't hear about this is that this has not been boiling
200. 38:42for two years this is like three weeks old which I just I [ __ ] love that but then I got thinking about what is this
201. 38:51really you have a machine that you can talk to it responds instantly with real-time voice like there's almost no lag if you
202. 39:00haven't called it just [ __ ] call it right now it's amazing um and here the number is 242 8478 um
203. 39:15you it can understand any language and it kind of knows everything what I'm not sure on and this would be curious to know is is it
204. 39:27connect Ed to the internet I I assume it's not but it might be if it is that would be even better but like think

206. 39:47it so what hit me was this is a single phone number for Global customer service for anything like that's a possibility and and if
207. 40:02you're thinking likewow it wouldn't know the upto-date stuff and it wouldn't know the customer service like I can hear you already and

209. 40:27surprise me but one of the things that they announced two weeks ago on Friday was reinforcement fine-tuning where you can train up an 01
210. 40:41model 01 mini on a specific knowledge domain so imagine training up a custom model on your knowledge like think think
211. 40:53like a custom GPT you train it on your knowledge and let's say that open AI figures out how to connect those custom
212. 41:00gpts to This Global 800 number right and then someone can get on there and say hey do you want an answer for a specific
213. 41:11company and you say yeah and then when you say it it basically looks in it its database and says do we have any custom
214. 41:18customer service applications for that company and then it starts answering on behalf of that company like that's it it
215. 41:26doesn't do that right now to be clear but like the distance between this thing as a kind of general knowledge Global
216. 41:36single phone number for for all of the knowledge of all of humanity that you can just call and ask it in any language
217. 41:43like that's what it is now holy [ __ ] we live in the future and like think of this thing a year out when they start adding features
218. 41:51to it and you can do function calling and you can actually do applications on this and you can actually it's tied to
219. 41:57autonomous agents hey CH JP and it you know based on your phone number it logs you into your account so it's got your
220. 42:05memory of the [ __ ] you like and the accounts that you're logged into holy [ __ ] this is powerful anyway [Music]

232. 44:31insufferable and she was like no I'm waiting for regulation she works for the FDA so of course she's waiting for
233. 44:37regulation but she said President Biden's executive order in AI was a joke was bad regulation I said well Colorado's regulation was even
234. 44:48worse it was so bad that when Governor paus signed it he had to say this is a steaman pile of poo please fix it before
235. 44:55it goes into an effect [Music] I said but are you using it in any way oh I can't use it at work I'm like okay
236. 45:06are you using it at home no why because it's not regulated like okay so I think by the end I got her to
237. 45:14Oh I said I said okay do this go to chat GPT she's got a six-year-old son put in your son's name and she goes I would
238. 45:21never put in his name she freaked out I was like okay just his initial okay e so yeah just put in E's name and then what does e like well e
239. 45:32likes Legos okay and E likes science okay and E right so she knows so I said just go put in all the stuff about e and
240. 45:39then say write me a story that incorporates all that stuff and then tell it to illustrate that story she
241. 45:45means she goes you mean like a bedtime story I was like yeah she's like okay I think I'm going to do that right so here's someone who's
242. 45:54like she's thinking about Ai and this threatening amorphous entity off to the side that she's not even going to
243. 46:06try until it's all [ __ ] buttoned up and regulated and I said well how are you going to know what that is without
244. 46:13knowing what that is she's like oh so that's the idea here play and then and then what you do is you come down
