10. 2:17if you're if you're brand new to AI if you really haven't tried this at all I'm going to give you just one just one to start where to
11. 2:28start so so where to start is right there chat. open.com chat GPT all right just go there it doesn't look like
12. 2:40you have Siri Siri Siri's bad Siri go away Siri gets so jealous she really wants to be a part of the part of the
13. 2:54live she really does in the worst way but here's the deal Siri if you sucked less you'd be on this live more I would
14. 3:02show you off to all of the world I I show your arch nemesis Bing off to the world and I make fun of her she doesn't like that
15. 3:13either um anyway go there and just start playing with it just start have it write you a country song have it write you a poem do things
16. 3:22like that and then what this Channel's about is just pop comments uh pop any questions you have about AI or or things
17. 3:30you want to see in the comments below I'll do my best to demo stuff to answer questions to wax philosophic about the

32. 5:44which eyes is best at giving legal advice um I think all of these uh large language models will well they'll all give you Le legal
33. 5:59advice the question is should you trust that legal advice what I would say is this because these large language models
34. 6:08are prone to things you know what they call hallucinations where they just will lie I like to call it mansplaining as a service
35. 6:18um you know do not take Financial advice from these things do not take legal advice do not take medical advice from
36. 6:25these things now that said if you want to understand a legal contract if you want to understand um you know uh what
37. 6:35you're dealing with with a medical condition as a as a learning thing I think I think they can all be quite
38. 6:41valuable um chat GPT 4 is by far the most sophisticated to these things um and particularly if you give it a lot of
39. 6:49context like you tell it that you want it to act like a legal expert that specializes in your kind of law that you're talking
40. 6:57about you could probably get some good input um I would absolutely 1,000 million per verify whatever you learn
41. 7:06with a lawyer right so don't just trust it um the site that I just mentioned before that just uh raised money at a
42. 7:15$500 million valuation perplexity doai um they're an interesting kind of search engines that that uses a lot of um
43. 7:25citations of of the source material so it'll source and give you things it's not really a large language model per se
44. 7:32kind of like these other things are um but it's good at giving you those things back there's a site called do not
45. 7:39pay.com I think it's wait hang on let me confirm that before I run you down that rabbit hole doot pay.com is that right yeah so do
46. 7:51not pay.com is kind of a virtual lawyer but it's a virtual lawyer for for like traffic tickets and you know uh small
47. 8:00claims thing and like if you get rooc calls you can sue the rooc call company for, 1500 bucks per call and like some
48. 8:07people are doing that where they're just having this thing do it so it's not really legal advice but it can do some
49. 8:12legal [ __ ] for you so that's the only one I know about and then there are probably some specialized um there are
50. 8:19probably some specialized legal specific large language models where am I going here okay down [Music]

52. 9:01um and not because the companies that made them are bad it's just that we're very very early in whatever this
53. 9:09industry is very early like a month from now will be the oneyear anniversary of chat GPT right so this is this is like
54. 9:20hot off depresses kind of Technology machine learning and ai's been around for decades but this let's let's call it popular access to this
55. 9:32machine learning power is is uh is new it's really new and so like all the legal stuff you're talking about there
56. 9:41there very well may be AI powered legal sites that they've been developing for a decade that are really trustworthy um
57. 9:48but if you just want to ask chat gbt for legal advice educate yourself with it just be really careful with it all
58. 9:58right fantastic Bob Bob tell him what he's won well I'll tell you what you what you won Bob is uh you want to walk
59. 10:05down a a a little path here in woods all right so let's go through these get ready to do do some screenshotting so I
60. 10:15put together Amelio's wife am I late oh you're always late but I'm late I was an hour late tonight although that was
61. 10:20scheduled I we had the AI Salon tonight and uh and uh actually mark from in here from last night um I was talking about privacy and
62. 10:35open- Source large language models and he said oh I um I just I just installed a version of llama 7B on a Raspberry Pi
63. 10:46effectively and I was like whoa I said can you go to the Discord and share share what you did there and he did and
64. 10:53then I said hey would you be willing to come to the AI Salon tonight and show us what you've built and he did it was
65. 10:59really remarkable so I don't know if you're in here Marcus but if you are I got a call I think I need to take

68. 11:45that's pretty good okay all right so let's go through these so so what I'm going to show you here is kind of my my sort of hand
69. 11:53curated list of stuff I think it's worth paying attention to so these are the top four chat gpts the best but they all
70. 12:00have they all have interesting stuff about them um this is what I like to call the Kids Table um so piie is really
71. 12:08interesting if you get their IOS app you can talk to it so it's like chat GPT you can have a conversation with fascinating
72. 12:16glimpse into the future perplexity llama 2 there's all sorts of cool stuff you can do with the open source large
73. 12:22language models PO is really interesting so go check those out um image creation image generation Dolly 3 right now is my little darling
74. 12:32so the yellow ones on these on these screens are the ones that I'm kind of most enamored of of these four um it
75. 12:41used to be mid Journey for a long time but mid journey is you have to make images on Discord although mid Journey today launched
76. 12:49beta. mid journey.com which is a redesigned interface for the images you've created um and then there's a sort of
77. 12:59grade out image generation bar at the top of the page so I have a feeling mid journey is about to become a website and
78. 13:07if mid Journey becomes a website and it's as easy to use as you know Dolly 3 or uh ideogram then that's probably
79. 13:16going to get the little yellow badge um so that's really good uh Leonardo's really good the Adobe products are
80. 13:23really good adobe's really leaning into this stuff they're doing it in a in an ethical and resp responsible and sort of
81. 13:29corporate friendly way which is really interesting um here's your video creation tools Runway Moon Valley and
82. 13:36pabs are all kind of the same tool hey sure I understand Siri um hay Jen and D- ID are kind of the same kind of tool but haen if you go
83. 13:46to labs. haen it does video translation that is remarkable and then Visa is kind of an interesting like video generator that
84. 13:56that assembles videos using stock video but you just give it a topic and it writes a script it narrates it it puts back not great but
85. 14:06interesting um then these are four people I think are worth following Ethan mullock is Big genius David Shapiro is giant brain
86. 14:19genius Paul rater really really smart guy in the marketing space and then Rachel Woods here on Tik Tok at the AI
87. 14:26exchange um just just just again good smart practical stuff um those are the directories futurepedia DOI and there's
88. 14:34an AI for that and then um on the music and audio side I'm still getting my head around this this world I don't spend a
89. 14:43lot of time here but 11 Labs um they're the they're the translation tool that sits underneath haen by the way and then
90. 14:51refusion and soundra make images or make music refusion makes music out of images sound draw is kind of like that visa thing where it it
91. 15:03assembles Loops together and then in the world of 3D worlds and objects blockade Labs so Skybox blad labs.com and wonder Dynamics
92. 15:13um are both really interesting technologies that are kind of glimpses into the future Wonder Dynamics you can
93. 15:20replace a human in a scene or multiple humans with robots they made the robots and then you basically just pick the
94. 15:26human in the scene and after a couple of hours of processing it replaces the human with a robot it's pretty insane so
95. 15:34like take a video of yourself walking down a street and then you can have a robot walking down a street so that would be an
96. 15:43interesting an interesting movie Project to use something like Wonder Dynamics to just go make a movie why
97. 15:49not um and then what else do I have here um the AI Salon we just had one tonight so if you go to the salon. there's a

103. 16:40tool or a person he's popping it in a Google spreadsheet and that's what that is and then that's our YouTube channel
104. 16:45where I put uh whatever they're called uh recordings of these lives um so that's all that stuff all right so that
105. 16:54should get you started that's more than enough that's like like just chaty GPT alone like you could spend a decade
106. 17:00trying to figure out what you can do with that thing much less all of these but those are all the kind of important
107. 17:06ones I think are worth paying attention to right now um I do change these out I just redid all this list um two days ago
108. 17:13or yesterday so this is this is hot off DE presses hot off DE presses um hey Kyle today I learned the music AI stuff yeah I know it's it's
109. 17:25there's a lot there's a lot um Sherry D head spin I know there's a lot there's a lot listen if you if you don't um if you
110. 17:37only do one thing like if if this stuff is completely overwhelming to you just play with chat GPT don't play with
111. 17:44anything else don't worry about having to run down these rabbit holes because there are an infinite number of them and every one of these
112. 17:53tools are are essentially some variation on one of the other one a lot of of them are are that oh thank you very much be
113. 18:01not afraid I appreciate that um so if you're feeling overwhelmed just just play like don't feel like you
114. 18:08got to work don't feel like you got to learn don't feel like you got to do important [ __ ] don't feel like you got to learn technology just
115. 18:19play just make poems make kids stories make steo thank you very much I appreciate that be Not Afraid thank you so much very generous

118. 18:57months anything that you learn today will kind of be irrelevant because a new tool is going to come along that's going
119. 19:05to do the thing that here's what happens you start playing with these tools and you're like oh they're really exciting
120. 19:09they're really great and then you're like oh but they're not perfect they're really bad and then you get into this
121. 19:14zone of like okay I figured out how to do it if I write it this way then it does this and it does that and I can
122. 19:19make it predictable and then three months later they change [ __ ] and everything breaks and everything's
123. 19:25different and everything's new just signed up for chat pt4 plus uh oh thank you very much Drew I appreciate that uh
124. 19:33wait oh Ricky Ticky Ricky Ticky Tabby or Ricky Ticky Fabby 10 out of 10 on the name I like it it's it's a tongue
125. 19:40twister and it's it's solid um I think that for me chat GPT plus the 20 bucks a month for chat GPT right now is is the
126. 19:49best deal going in any software I didn't used to be like that I I used to be like well you could do the
127. 19:5620 bucks maybe I'd give the 20 20 bucks here and give the 20 bucks there now right now with what open AI just released um
128. 20:06that 20 bucks a month is a steal it's it's it's just a great deal it's a great deal um and I can I'm happy to sort of
129. 20:14pop open um chat GPT and play and show you some of that stuff so if anyone has any specific questions I'm happy to happy to dig

141. 22:23generation right now are Dolly 3 and mid Journey here's the big differences if you want art if you want photo realism if you want art if you
142. 22:35want a more sophisticated image it's mid journey is there something else I can help with Siri she's she's so pushy um Mid
143. 22:49Journey if you don't feel like learning Discord you don't feel like learning command line interface to make it images if you
144. 22:59don't feel like getting frustrated that mid Journey can't make text at all if you get frustrated that when you try to
145. 23:05put three very distinct objects in a mid-journey image it Blends them all together into one weird thing then you
146. 23:13want Dolly 3 so Dolly 3's got really good prompt coherence you can say to Dolly 3 I I've done a couple of these
147. 23:20examples you can say to Dolly 3 make me a uh like a a room with a 100 objects in it but I want these 25 specific items in
148. 23:28it and it will create an image with those 25 specific items in it it does text you can say put in this text now is
149. 23:36it perfect no the the um the the it it it gets it it does not spell well like it screws up the spelling all the time
150. 23:45but it does pretty decent typography and you can get it to do you know fully you know fully correct words like all of these
151. 23:54images are done with Del so see how they all have nice text that one's not done with Dolly but well probably the underlying image
152. 24:06was um so all that sort of stuff like that one's really cool look at that AI learning Labs records so that was done in Dolly try
153. 24:17doing this in mid Journey you can't but if you want it to look like a photographic 45 on an old record player
154. 24:24then that's mid journey is making an AI lab drinking oh I'm making an AI lab drinking bingo game and Siri chimes in as one of the
155. 24:37squares [ __ ] Siri so so Siri chiming in should be one of them and then and then um Sydney hanging up on me in when I when I demo
156. 24:50Bing should be one that's really funny oh man that's good I like it cuno um any idea if Apple's new Siri will
157. 25:01have any unique features uh well if Apple doesn't make Siri not suck then what are they spending their money on
158. 25:11apparently they spent 22.4 billion in R&D in 2023 so far so they're spending a lot of [ __ ] money and apparently
159. 25:19they're spending a lot of that on generative AI um they have a meeting not a meeting what do they call it an
160. 25:30event oh thank you very much Max Maro they have an event um coming up oh thank you so much that's really generous I appreciate that
161. 25:42um October 30th at 5:00 p.m. Monday October 30th at 5:00 p.m. an Apple event Apple events are almost always on
162. 25:54Tuesdays they're almost always in the morning they almost always have a lot of fanfare the poster for it is like a dark
163. 26:01black apple and a dark black background so I don't know if it's some weird ass um Halloween thing but I doubt
164. 26:12it so it's possible that they announc some AI thing on on next Monday but I've also heard from there's some like apple rumor guys that are
165. 26:24basically saying you're not going to see anything with AI from Apple until the end of 2024 that feels more right to me but
166. 26:34we'll see we'll see what goes on Monday it would be nice if they if they announced a what if Siri didn't suck version of [Laughter]
167. 26:44Siri um you can now create prompts that you use over and over with new data fed into it you can actually do that inside
168. 26:52uh inside chat GPT there's a way you can prompt to do that what was it a specific tool so both Bing chat and chat gp4 use

173. 27:47but I find that I get better results in chat GPT in in open AI chat GPT with Dolly than I do from Bing but I also noticed that
174. 27:58Bing chat which is sitting on top of gp4 is not as good as open a eyes chat GPT I think I think chat GPT just does it

181. 29:11the deal of the century but if you're like I can't afford another 20 Buck a month subscription then don't do it you
182. 29:16can do Dolly 3 images in Bing chat so here I'll go show you I will go show you I'll show you kind of the difference [Music]
183. 29:34so so if you just go to Old regular bing.com and then you click on the chat button this is kind of chat
184. 29:43GPT but it's Microsoft's version of chat GPT and they give you some nice things it's connected to the internet they give
185. 29:49you this idea of you can be more creative more balanced or more precise right if you know someone was asking
186. 29:55about which of these things is good at loss stuff if you wanted to research law stuff put it in more precise mode if you
187. 30:01want to write a marketing campaign put it in more creative mode um and then within here you can say oh right I can't do that here hang
188. 30:15on they disabled that create an image of chaos on a stick and label it Chaos on a
189. 30:33stick all right we'll see we'll see what we'll see what this does I'll try to create that thank
190. 30:48you why is it talking they get this is a new image they're they're upgrad some of their stuff there's Chaos on a stick there you
191. 31:01go Chaos on a stick but it's all right but notice it can do text that's Dolly 3 that's a cool little flowchart of the

204. 33:49GPT app if you go to chat gp4 you can put it in Dolly mode and that's that's what's going to generate images and then you
205. 33:59can put it in talkie mode make me a photorealistic image of your idea of chaos on a stick and label

207. 34:40I get no response oh chat GPT you disappoint me I'm trying to show people how awesome you are and you don't
208. 34:49respond you you're unlike Siri who responds when I don't want her to and now I want you to respond and there's no response there's nothing
209. 34:57but look Chaos on a stick hey chat gbt you did it yay that one's pretty good the hell is that bamboo rings with honey or maple
210. 35:14syrup and buttons and Feathers that's I wouldn't call it a stick well that's [ __ ] chaos sir what are your quality
211. 35:26ifications um does this manual help at all oh lordy lordy lordy lordy I was like yo Bing give me some good news for
212. 35:40today and it gave me like five positive news bits oh that's a great idea I'm going to do this in pie you know I've had kind of a long day
