5:21 people think they need to be a lot more
5:24 technological than they actually do and
5:27 there's a lot of reasons for that and
5:29 with some Lanes in AI it pays to be
5:32 super techy there's a lot of lanes in AI
5:35 though where you don't need to at all um
5:39 and I think that's I think that's
5:40 counterintuitive so I think I think a
5:42 lot of it is just people like yeah I'll
5:44 get to it when it gets easier you know
5:46 not really realizing that the Easy's
5:49 been here for a bit but it's going to
5:51 get easier and easier and easier right
5:53 you know 2023 all we talked about was
5:55 you got to be a prompt engineer oh my
5:58 God it sounds intimidating and uh now

7:55 this was when I had first created a
7:58 zappier automation to gener generate
8:00 content so you filled out a Google form
8:03 it ask you a few questions Pate what's
8:05 happening and and then you submitted the
8:08 form and then it would email you back a
8:12 set of social media content and so I'm
8:16 on a call with him and I said oh let me
8:18 show you this thing I just did and I
8:21 said and I asked him the questions so I
8:23 shared my screen or did I share my
8:25 screen I think I did filled out the
8:29 questions on screen hit the submit
8:30 button put his email address in it and
8:33 we're talking and like 60 seconds later
8:36 30 seconds later he gets the email back
8:39 and he opens it I just see his eyes
8:43 go cuz it wrote like a blog post and
8:46 tweets and hashtags
8:49 and he goes he goes did this just do
8:55 this I said yeah that's what it does he
8:59 goes I had no idea he goes I gotta go he
9:03 goes I can't really process this right
9:06 now like it knocked him off the call he
9:10 took off oh my God that was funny that
9:13 it's it's amazing watching those moments
9:15 where people kind of where it registers
9:17 what's actually happening here and
9:20 they're like oh this is different this
9:23 is not what I thought it was so you can
9:26 use chat GPT and not get it which is
9:29 weird
9:31 because you can get it to disappoint you
9:33 easily if you if you underestimate it it
9:36 will oblige and and under
9:39 respond and then where it gets weird is
9:42 when you push it it's like the harder
9:43 you push it the better it gets that's
9:46 that's that's one of the weird things
9:47 about chat
9:48 GPT very very
9:50 weird all
9:53 right I sat with a blank stare at the

10:21 plus you've got your prompt so you've
10:23 got four or five or six inputs and then
10:27 the output is very
10:33 um weirdly predictable like sometimes
10:36 it's predictable sometimes it's very not
10:38 predictable so I'm I'm with you on Korea
10:41 but but at at some
10:44 point at some point can you recommend an
10:46 AI where I can edit my MP4
10:50 video I don't know what edit means
10:53 editing videos a whole world um if you
10:57 want something that basically just just
10:59 does Final Cut Pro for you and takes
11:03 lots and lots of [ __ ]
11:06 and assembles it I don't know that
11:08 there's anything like that if you're
11:10 looking for something that will
11:14 modularize chop your long form stuff up
11:17 into shorter pieces there's things like
11:20 Vig
11:22 um there's if you're looking to
11:26 just cut out ums and Oz there's descript
11:29 which you can sort of edit the script
11:31 and it'll chop the video up in bits
11:34 there's a ton of different like I don't
11:36 I don't quite know what that means so I
11:38 can't really recommend it I don't know
11:39 what you're trying to accomplish it is
11:41 that that's a whole [ __ ] series of
11:43 rabbit holes right there I mean what I
11:45 would do if I were you is start to get
11:48 really curious just go to futur
11:58 pedia.com learning what the tools are

12:01 tools right now is most of them are
12:03 quite
12:04 expensive so it's it's really tough to
12:07 just play with video right now because
12:09 you you essentially have to have
12:10 accounts and most of them are 10 bucks a
12:14 month 20 bucks a month 30 bucks a month
12:16 it's pain in the
12:19 ass um I assume as things get more
12:22 efficient they'll get more efficient on
12:23 that
12:24 front um go back and play with the
12:27 plugins go back and play
12:30 with custom instructions proof mind
12:35 blown witchcraft but really cool images

21:57 input so it's tough
22:01 enough understanding how to get just
22:03 straight image generation to work but we
22:06 increasingly are going to be moving into
22:08 these interfaces that have all sorts of
22:11 different inputs that are not
22:12 necessarily text so I think a tool like
22:15 cre is really good to experiment with
22:16 and play with and understand what it
22:18 does let me just roll the dice a few
22:20 more times and see if I can get banned

25:55 you've got a stable diffusion instance
25:57 running you can use it oh that's

26:30 factor to let's turn AI strength down to
26:33 like3 instead of 085 and then I'll
26:37 enhance it

38:11 how to do this what am I doing with my
38:16 life and then in the background our
38:18 ticktockers going you can make

38:24 just trying to figure out my life
38:27 so we got to have empathy for each other
38:30 so if you dig those values and you know
38:33 go read them read the read the intent

39:28 here's what I know about where we are in
39:30 history we're at the very beginning of
39:33 something that is going to fundamentally

39:43 country by country or continent by
39:44 continent but no we watched with covid
39:47 like that transformed the globe that
39:49 transformed Society globally well AI is
39:52 going to do it too so one was one was
39:55 you know a natural thing this is
39:57 something we've created it's going to
39:58 change everything so I want to be around
40:00 people that are up to something so my f
40:04 here's what it cost you my request is if

45:07 about it and da da da da and then have
45:10 chat GPT give you 10 visual concepts to
45:14 have it describe 10 visual concepts for
45:18 how you might bring that those game
45:19 images to life and then say Oh I really
45:22 like two and four now can you make me an
45:25 image
45:26 um you know using those two Styles
45:29 combining those two styles of whatever
45:32 the subject is so give it you know have
45:35 a long conversation before you get into
45:37 the image generation and then the images
45:39 will be generated inside the context of
45:41 that that's that's a thing that might
45:42 get you unstuck if you're trying to
45:44 figure out how to how to play with it
45:46 the other thing that I I don't see a
45:48 lot um if you want a vertical image you
45:52 can tell you can tell do or you can tell
45:54 chat GPT I want a vertical image or I
45:57 want a 9x6 vertical image or I want a
46:00 landscape or horizontal image or 16x9
46:03 image or whatever
46:04 4x3 you it doesn't just have to be
46:07 square you can give it dimensions and it
46:09 will generate whatever you want so if
46:12 you're doing a nice landscape make it
46:14 horizontal um if you're using
46:17 Microsoft's co-pilot which is also
46:19 dolly3 it it won't do it only does
46:22 Square I don't know why they haven't
46:24 fixed that but they haven't um but if
46:26 you're in chat gp4 using Dolly 3 you you
46:29 can tell it to be wide and all that
46:32 stuff all right um it's like create a
46:35 picture I mean create an image of a dog
46:37 and a cat and a ball jumping around and
46:40 I I walked away from my laptop after
46:42 using GPT for the first time I needed to
46:45 process it exactly Nick it it yeah it
46:50 these tools are
46:53 um this is some headyy [ __ ]
46:57 like when I had when I had my big
46:59 Epiphany about the worldwide web I
47:02 published a a
47:04 magazine from my apartment in Brooklyn
47:06 and 3 weeks later there was a full- page
47:09 newspaper article written about it in
47:12 Paris and that sort of shook my world I
47:16 sort of understood in an
47:18 instant the power of the worldwide web
47:21 what it was but the tool
47:24 itself was super simple
47:26 it was just a hyperlink right like the
47:29 worldwide web in the early days was just
47:32 click on a link and it takes you to a
47:33 page and if that page happens to be in
47:37 France then they can see your little
47:40 magazine that's living on a server in
47:42 California published from your apartment
47:44 in Brooklyn so that all sort of sunk in
47:48 and it took me a while to process it
47:51 this AI stuff is similarly profound but

48:22 decently can do some percentage of that
48:26 thing have access to that thing that
48:29 I've spent a career
48:30 mastering what do you do with

48:39 conversely man I wish I had some [ __ ]

48:48 oh now my word talent translates into

1:07:22 yesterday and then Gemini
1:07:25 Nano is a super small optimized version
1:07:28 of Gemini designed to run locally on
1:07:34 phones so this to me is the first Domino
1:07:38 the do the dominoes are going to start
1:07:39 falling that so right now if you want to
1:07:43 use a
1:07:44 powerful large language model um you
1:07:49 have to send your data off to open AI or
1:07:52 off to inflection or off to anthropic
1:07:54 and they process it on their giant GPU
1:07:56 farms and then they send you the answer
1:07:58 back if you've got models running
1:08:00 locally on your devices all of the magic
1:08:04 happens within the device itself so
1:08:06 you'll have the equivalent of like a
1:08:08 maybe a gpt3 kind of model locally on
1:08:12 your phone and those are going to get

1:08:18 and want to mess around with the open-

1:12:08 bought 22,000 h100s I think the big gpus

1:22:04 levels now so because of that I'd start

1:28:29 Claude they use what's called
1:28:31 constitutional learning so so open AI
1:28:34 uses human reinforcement learning so the
1:28:37 large language model generates answers
1:28:39 and then people go that's good that's
1:28:41 not good and right and they do all that
1:28:43 and that's how it gets better Claude
1:28:45 uses a thing called constitutional
1:28:47 learning where they create a
1:28:48 constitution they create a set of of
1:28:51 high level imperatives
1:28:53 like Do no harm and um increase
1:28:58 prosperity and you know don't don't
1:29:01 whatever there's a set of rules and then
1:29:04 when when it generates answers those
1:29:06 answers are measured against the
1:29:09 Constitution and it'll keep redoing them
1:29:12 until it gets it right and so that's a
1:29:15 really interesting thing moving forward
1:29:16 because if you've got transparency in
1:29:18 what that Constitution is and you've got
1:29:21 a large language model that follows that
1:29:23 Constitution it will follow that
1:29:25 Constitution it won't be like a human
1:29:27 and go well I'll follow it for them but
1:29:29 I'm not going to follow it for me cuz

1:31:40 like you can act you can drive these
1:31:42 things you can drive large language
1:31:44 models down certain Lanes pretty easily
1:31:48 I think if it's an academic paper
1:31:50 hopefully they took a bit more of a
1:31:51 rigorous approach but a lot of the the
1:31:53 the news articles are just like well I I
1:31:56 asked it this question it gave me this
1:31:59 racist answer so therefore all AI is
1:32:01 racist like that's that's what the media
1:32:04 the media tends to do is just you know
1:32:08 sensationalize because because you can
1:32:10 get them to give you really awful
1:32:11 answers if you want to right that's what
1:32:13 the New York Times did with Sydney with
1:32:15 the with the the Microsoft when when uh
1:32:19 Microsoft's version of chat gp4 came out
1:32:23 he got it to snap and it made the cover
1:32:25 of the New York Times ai's been in use
1:32:28 since the 90s by the alpha
1:32:30 agencies
1:32:32 yeah
1:32:35 listen ai's been around for decades it's
1:32:38 in it's in almost all of the software we
1:32:41 use it's in our cars it's in our houses
1:32:43 it's everywhere it's in our search
1:32:45 engines it's in our travel
1:32:48 recommendations the difference is what
1:32:50 what's changed is chat GPT made those
1:32:55 tools available to the rest of us and
1:32:59 generative AI is just a different thing
1:33:01 than all the machine learning that came
1:33:04 before it right all these
1:33:06 specialized um specialty systems this
1:33:10 General capability this General
1:33:12 generative pre-trained Transformer
1:33:14 pre-trained on as much of the internet
1:33:17 as they could Jam in there is what it
1:33:20 knows think about that think about like
1:33:23 even if they only
1:33:26 got 20% of the public
1:33:30 internet they they did it over a course
1:33:32 of three or four or five years where
1:33:34 they were tagging and finding data
1:33:37 sources and databases and corners of the
1:33:41 internet like they were just getting
1:33:42 massive amounts of
1:33:44 data and that's what it's trained on so
1:33:46 like even if it's only 20% of the public
1:33:49 internet do you know how much crap has
1:33:53 been dumped in the public internet in
1:33:56 the past three or four decades it's
1:33:58 staggering it's a staggering amount of
1:34:00 information and that's now just
1:34:02 instantly available to us and not
1:34:04 available like a Google search like

1:34:11 into this magical Oracle machine with
1:34:14 its little probability engine that goes

1:36:56 today it did it was funny I I didn't
1:36:59 mean to I didn't mean to write an
1:37:01 article today I started out with
1:37:08 um check your link check your link hang
1:37:15 on I started out just saying um I wanted
1:37:18 to just talk about gpts and how
1:37:23 um is this my thing
1:37:27 yeah I just wanted to do an article of
1:37:30 gpts that I've I've made and then as I
1:37:33 started sort of jotting down my thoughts
1:37:35 about it it it kind of turned into this
1:37:37 article so so I made this image these
1:37:40 are just some of the icons for the gpts
1:37:42 I've made most of them I've made on this
1:37:44 channel live and and so the the article
1:37:47 is called the dawn of the everyday
1:37:49 developer and
1:37:52 and what I talk about in here like I I I
1:37:55 I talk about um Daisy Thomas lunatick in
1:37:58 here she's made 50 gpts there's a bunch
1:38:01 of people in here that have made a ton
1:38:02 of gpts Becky ruse made one the you know
1:38:06 people are making all all sorts of
1:38:07 different gpts some of them that are
1:38:09 really inspiring um Daisy did this one
1:38:12 called a Alexander Hamilton
1:38:15 AI Alexander Hamilton um where it's she
1:38:20 took a lot of his writings or all of his
1:38:22 writings right all of his historical
1:38:24 documents and built them into this GPT
1:38:27 and you can now have a virtual
1:38:28 conversation with Alexander Hamilton
1:38:32 so the the what what hit me about what
1:38:37 we're in the middle of right now is
1:38:39 we've got a lot of people right now
1:38:41 developing applications who've never
1:38:43 written a line of code and this is not
1:38:46 like low code tools like zappier like if
1:38:49 you've ever used zappier use still need
1:38:52 to be a [ __ ] programmer you don't
1:38:54 actually have to write code but you have
1:38:56 to understand programming logic right
1:38:58 you have to understand what an API is
1:39:00 you have to understand what API keys are
1:39:02 and how you get them and how you do
1:39:07 it let's see was very TOA we were trying
1:39:11 to Mastermind earlier this
1:39:15 morning Kyle that was very sweet of you
1:39:18 to do I don't know what was sweet of me
1:39:20 to do thank you
1:39:24 um but but think about think about like
1:39:29 what are the implications of this if
1:39:31 you've got people who have never written
1:39:35 a line of code
1:39:37 before that all of a sudden can write
1:39:39 very sophisticated applications by
1:39:42 literally just imagining them into being
1:39:45 which is which is where we are right now
1:39:47 if you've built a GPT that's what you do
1:39:50 you say I would like a GPT that does
1:39:53 this oh by the way here's my data boom
1:39:56 there it is and you can instantly use it
1:39:58 you can instantly share
1:40:02 it what does that mean for the economy I
1:40:04 don't know I have no idea I have no idea
1:40:09 but I so I don't think the drought's
1:40:10 going to be there there for long but I
1:40:12 do think there's going to be
1:40:14 a a time anir a phase where this is
1:40:19 going to be painful
1:40:22 I think there'll be a transfer of power
1:40:23 and control people won't won't like it
1:40:25 but artificial superintelligence will
1:40:28 have a something an impact yeah I agree
1:40:32 I the what's going to be fascinating is
1:40:36 watching The Centers of power as they
1:40:38 shift an IQ of 7500 and all the
1:40:41 information there is accessible in nanc
1:40:44 it will solve all yeah this is right

1:40:48 mean when you have
1:40:52 so one of the ways that centers of power
1:40:55 remain in power is they restrict access
1:40:58 to
1:41:00 information
1:41:02 and we now have tools where we've got
1:41:05 instant access not just to information
1:41:07 but to
1:41:09 knowledge so I can
1:41:12 now I can now develop computer programs
1:41:16 where I couldn't before I can now solve
1:41:19 crazy mathematical problems where I
1:41:21 couldn't before and everyone can and so
1:41:24 when everyone
1:41:27 can who's in power is going to start to
1:41:31 shift and what's going to be fascinating
1:41:33 to watch is the death throws of of
1:41:37 people in power right now is the mess
1:41:40 that humans have created hopefully they
1:41:41 let us stay yeah I don't I I don't feel
1:41:45 quite as uh Bleak about you know the
1:41:48 robots are going to take us down I I
1:41:50 understand it's a risk
1:41:52 can you build a zapping application with
1:41:55 AI you can so so zappier has um lots of
1:42:00 Integrations into tools like open Ai and
1:42:03 things like that so basically you just
1:42:04 create a a chat GPT Block in your
1:42:08 zappier flow so the the automations I've
1:42:11 done are quite simple it's a Google form
1:42:14 some sort of input so it can either be
1:42:17 you add a row to a spreadsheet file or
1:42:19 someone fills out this form
1:42:22 and then I take the the data from that
1:42:24 form I incorporate it into a prompt
1:42:27 which I send to open AI it generates one
1:42:30 or more responses or you know I I do
1:42:32 multiple calls to open
1:42:34 Ai and then I take those answers and
1:42:36 toss them in a slack Channel or toss
1:42:39 them in a a Gmail or something like
1:42:42 that um so yeah you can it's it's it's
1:42:45 incredibly powerful although I think a
1:42:49 lot of the gpts do
1:42:52 a fair amount of what I would have done
1:42:54 with a with an automation anyway
1:42:57 so all right people who have had held
1:43:00 their own databases will have a higher
1:43:01 probability of making money I think so
1:43:04 metav Victory I you're you're on to
1:43:06 something there
1:43:10 um so if you
1:43:13 assume if you assume that everyone's
1:43:16 going to have access
1:43:18 relatively to the same tools and those
1:43:22 tools allow everyone to do everything
1:43:25 relatively right you know let's let's
1:43:28 say the tools the tools that we're being
1:43:30 given access to are going to allow all
1:43:32 of us to do every job up to maybe 80% of
1:43:37 what current Mastery looks like but if I
1:43:41 can do what I'm currently masterful at
1:43:44 at 100% And then I can do every other
1:43:47 job at
1:43:47 80% everyone's going to get really
1:43:50 [ __ ] productive
1:43:53 but if everyone can do everything no
1:43:56 one's going to stand out like it's all
1:43:58 going to be the same [ __ ] so what's
1:44:00 going to stand out you'll notice
1:44:03 yesterday
1:44:05 um open AI announced a deal with the
1:44:08 holding company that owns Politico for
1:44:11 example so and and um stability AI did
1:44:15 it cut a deal with Getty Images and so
1:44:18 did Google Google cut a deal with the
1:44:19 New York Times so proprietary data
1:44:23 sources are going to be where a lot of
1:44:26 the differentiation
1:44:28 happens right so so if you want truly
1:44:31 trusted news sources you're going to use
1:44:33 a large language model that's connected
1:44:35 to Reuters because you you want you know
1:44:38 Reuters vetting within your within your
1:44:41 answers right so I think that's I think
1:44:45 that's where the differentiation happens
1:44:47 yes so wild wild
1:44:53 [ __ ] but even things
1:44:57 like I mean I think it goes down to like
1:44:59 really small data too like like
1:45:08 um like if you've got a
1:45:12 local Gardener and they've come up with
1:45:16 some or like gardening supply company
1:45:19 and they've come up with some I don't
1:45:21 know proprietary data that's super
1:45:24 entertaining and people like it and then
1:45:27 that turns into an application that you
1:45:28 can interact with like you might
1:45:30 interact with their gardening app versus
1:45:34 another company's Garden gardening app
1:45:36 that is just generic [ __ ] right cuz
1:45:38 there's has their personality or
1:45:40 something like that so I think I think
1:45:42 the personalized data the personalized
1:45:46 gpts like like one of my
1:45:48 gpts is is a g GPT of a screenplay I
1:45:52 wrote
1:45:54 right and
1:45:56 so like that's something
1:45:59 that is my thing and if people want to
1:46:02 interact with that they can interact
1:46:03 with that and it's like is that going to
1:46:05 have value I don't know but like it's
1:46:07 that'll at least be a unique experience
1:46:09 rather than just generic interaction
1:46:11 about a
1:46:13 screenplay um getting a tattoo that says
1:46:16 no code forever and still wildly
1:46:18 successful exactly an
1:46:22 uh um people have held yeah yeah yeah um
1:46:26 all
1:46:30 right going from an oil-based economy to
1:46:33 an information based
1:46:38 economy I don't know if it's an
1:46:40 information-based economy I mean I think
1:46:42 we're in an information-based economy
1:46:44 right now fueled by
1:46:49 oil

1:46:53 the new economy is I really don't I
1:46:58 don't it's funny I almost just said I
1:47:00 wish I knew more about Mac
1:47:02 macroeconomics but I don't really I

1:48:29 barges that are going to have all these
1:48:30 gpus on them that are going to have
1:48:32 their own armies and their own
1:48:35 navies and so that so that no single
1:48:38 country can own the gpus like those

1:48:44 faster than it's like I wouldn't want to
1:48:47 I wouldn't want to be the insurance

1:50:03 played with open AI playground you're
1:50:06 going to need to if if you want to do
1:50:08 openai thing so go to platform. open.com
1:50:12 playground get yourself an API key you
1:50:15 you make an account there here's
1:50:16 something that that a lot of people
1:50:17 don't know can you post that on Mighty

1:50:27 that's what you're asking clarify what
1:50:29 you're asking for the post that on
1:50:31 Mighty networks I don't know what the

1:50:44 um so zapier is the automation tool but
1:50:48 you need to have a account so so the
1:50:49 thing about zap happier is what it is is
1:50:52 it's a tool that sits in the center of
1:50:54 like 5,000 other tools so in order to
1:50:57 use all those other tools like you know
1:51:01 Gmail and Google Drive and uh some
1:51:05 database air table and some email thing
1:51:09 right all of that
1:51:11 stuff is
1:51:14 um you you have to have accounts in all
1:51:16 those places and and you you have to you
1:51:18 know validate your accounts within
1:51:20 zapier with open AI in particular you
1:51:23 need to have an API key that you're
1:51:25 going to get charged for that is a
1:51:27 separate account from chat GPT so you
1:51:29 pay your 20 bucks a month for chat GPT 4
1:51:32 you'll pay some amount for the
1:51:34 development Playground now here's the
1:51:36 deal unless you're doing lots and lots
1:51:39 and lots and lots and lots and lots of
1:51:40 calls it's not going to cost you much
1:51:42 like I don't think I've had an open AI
1:51:45 like API like development bill for more
1:51:49 than like $9 and that was when I was
1:51:50 super busy on it and so it's it's not
1:51:54 that expensive and it's it's gotten
1:51:55 cheaper since I've used it so anyway so
1:51:57 so you're going to have to do that okay
1:51:59 now all these automation tools are
1:52:02 essentially the same thing and and here
1:52:04 are the here are the
1:52:07 components the first component is you
1:52:09 need some sort of
1:52:11 input so in these automations what
1:52:14 zapier calls it and I think what make
1:52:17 calls it there's another automation tool
1:52:18 called make m
1:52:21 and they call it a trigger and the
1:52:23 trigger is something happens and then it
1:52:25 sets off this automation so that's the
1:52:27 trigger so in the in the example that I
1:52:31 use here it's it's a Google form so so
1:52:34 the first step is I think okay what do I
1:52:36 want to
1:52:37 do when you're doing zapier um if you
1:52:42 just go to zapier and say what should I
1:52:44 do it's really intimidating but if you
1:52:47 say hey I want to make like
1:52:50 the the the thing that I showed here was
1:52:53 I wanted to make a um a limi maker or a
1:52:57 a a tongue twister um based on a single
1:53:01 word input so give me the topic of a
1:53:03 poem and then I'm going to write a
1:53:04 tongue twister about it or something
1:53:07 like that so I need the input of that
1:53:09 word to make the tongue twister and so I
1:53:13 the first thing I did was I created a
1:53:14 Google form that said you know give me I
1:53:16 think it's give me a color or give me I
1:53:18 I forget what it is
1:53:20 so I create a Google form and then when
1:53:23 someone inputs in that Google form
1:53:25 that's the trigger so that's the input
1:53:27 all right and then you take that
1:53:29 input and in the case of doing something
1:53:32 with open AI you're going to write a
1:53:34 prompt that incorporates the input from
1:53:37 that Google form into the prompt that
1:53:40 gets sent to open AI that comes back and
1:53:44 gives you some
1:53:46 action like it's going to make the
1:53:49 tongue twister and then you're going to
1:53:51 take that output and you're going to put
1:53:52 it in some sort of output like in this
1:53:54 case I put it into a Gmail so that it
1:53:58 would email someone the tongue twister
1:54:00 so Google form was the input when
1:54:02 someone input it I took the input of
1:54:04 that Google form put it in an in an open
1:54:08 AI prompt and then output it over to
1:54:11 open AI okay so now let me go find that

1:56:07 right which is the configuration of each
1:56:10 of these steps so you first configure a
1:56:13 Google form let me edit this I'm going

1:56:17 mode edit existing draft

1:56:28 existing draft
1:56:31 okay new draft has been created based on
1:56:34 the latest version so so I say so Google

1:56:46 service you choose there's going to be
1:56:48 some things you can do so in the case of
1:56:49 a form form it can either be a new form

1:56:54 response and then you you hook your

1:58:06 programming and how to think like a
1:58:08 programmer but um let's see one of these

1:58:14 used to be like two things you could do
1:58:15 with chat GPT now there's a a ton um so
1:58:19 it's it's more complicated than it used

2:04:36 but if you want to incorporate a chat
2:04:39 GPT like automation into your
2:04:43 website you can do that with interfaces

2:06:18 it so somewhere like once you get that
2:06:21 it's conceptually all really simple but
2:06:25 like it it's just every time you go to
2:06:28 do something something [ __ ] breaks or

2:06:33 it like it'll rate limit you and well
2:06:36 you didn't you didn't pay enough money
2:06:39 and so we only did 10 of your 20
2:06:41 requests and oh now open AI rate limited
2:06:44 you it's just it's just everything is a

2:06:49 have to be in in a very um hermetically
2:06:53 sealed mindset with zappier to just know
2:06:55 this is going to be painful but on the
2:06:58 other side of it it will do cool

2:07:07 you can do a lot with a GPT that you've
2:07:10 historically had to do with zap year you

2:07:22 to basically be able to train it on your
2:07:24 own data um that's now you can now do

2:08:36 made and it it melted my face cuz I I
2:08:38 just had never thought about like with
2:08:40 these gpts I'm like you know we've got
2:08:43 to do these important applications and
2:08:45 we're going to do API calls and we're
2:08:46 going to do all this [ __ ] and he goes he
2:08:48 said he said Kyle I made a GPT about a
2:08:51 phone call and I was like
2:08:54 what what are you talking about he took
2:08:58 the transcript from a from a 1hour long
2:09:01 conference call he had with six people
2:09:04 he put the transcript of the phone call
2:09:06 in a GPT and sent it to the six
2:09:08 participants of the call and said here
2:09:11 you can you know you can ask questions
2:09:14 about the call we just had I was like oh
2:09:18 that's [ __ ] br brilliant and like
2:09:20 what struck me
2:09:22 was disposable apps are now a thing and
2:09:27 if you if you paid attention if you
2:09:29 watched a lot of the Gemini
2:09:30 demonstrations there was one part of the
2:09:32 Gemini demonstration where when you ask
2:09:35 Gemini a
2:09:38 question if the appropriate answer is
2:09:41 like like if you say
2:09:44 um I want to know I want to know um
2:09:50 you know 10 different
2:09:51 recipes um that I could cook for
2:09:54 Christmas or whatever if if the response
2:09:57 is I should actually be the user would
2:10:02 actually benefit most If This Were an
2:10:04 application that he could click on
2:10:06 interfaces so in the Gemini in the
2:10:09 Gemini um training set is a Google
2:10:14 interface
2:10:15 Library that's just built into it and so
2:10:19 one of the things that Gemini does is it
2:10:21 says before I'm going to give you an
2:10:22 answer I'm going to think about does
2:10:24 this need to be an application if it
2:10:26 needs to be an application what's the
2:10:28 architecture of that application what's
2:10:31 the interface of that application and
2:10:33 then I'm going to build you that
2:10:34 application that is a fully functional
2:10:36 application like with rollover States
2:10:39 and clickable buttons and windows that
2:10:40 do
2:10:42 [ __ ] like that's coming in
2:10:47 January so
2:10:50 if we live in a world where you just say
2:10:53 I want X and the system just dynamically
2:10:57 build
2:10:58 you no I'm not just being nice oh that's

2:11:44 means there's going to be lots of new
2:11:45 jobs we can't even anticipate right now

2:12:38 the best ecosystem they've got like
2:12:40 5,000 different Services they hook to so
2:12:43 I would say if they don't hook directly
2:12:46 to jasp they might hook to some service
2:12:48 that hook hooks to jasp so I I would say
2:12:51 that's that's just a Google away go to
2:12:54 go to Bard or pi and and ask that
2:12:58 question or just go to zapier oh the
2:13:00 other thing zapier has zapier has an AI
2:13:03 interface where you can just say I want
2:13:05 a zap that does XYZ and it will assemble
2:13:08 you all the components it thinks you
2:13:10 needs so so that's actually useful you
2:13:13 still have to go configure them all
2:13:14 which is a pain in the ass um but in
2:13:17 terms of discovering components you can
2:13:19 say I want to create a zap that that
2:13:22 takes the input from a Google form and
2:13:23 generates a bunch of [ __ ] and then or or
2:13:26 whatever and then it will just assemble
2:13:29 you a bunch of components that you can
2:13:30 go hook
2:13:32 up what Kyle was referring to small apps
2:13:35 tuned for one task it was a great
2:13:37 webinar I was in today best webinar I've
2:13:40 been to in four months oh that's
2:13:44 great small apps tuned for one task oh
2:13:47 that's super cool um it's like you
2:13:49 really need to have the knowledge you
2:13:51 can't just build a GPT for an area of
2:13:53 expertise well thankful Jones GPT I just
2:13:56 agree gpts are so simple that you can
2:14:01 dig deeper with them but you can just go
2:14:03 into the GPT interface and say I want a
2:14:05 GPT that does this and it will write all
2:14:08 the code and your GPT will do that if
2:14:11 you want that GPT to be more
2:14:13 sophisticated then you may need to geek
2:14:15 out a bit more but but that's why I
2:14:18 think think that gpts
2:14:20 are a bigger Game Changer Than People
2:14:23 realize is that open AI put chat GPT as
2:14:27 the interface to build
2:14:29 gpts I thought that was a brilliant move
