33. 6:47were two announcements today of uh smart glasses that I haven't given a [ __ ] about for years. Could care less. I think they're useless. I
34. 7:01I made the embarrassing mistake of buying a Google Glass. You know, the douchebag thing with they put a prism over your eye
35. 7:10and shot shitty interface into your eye. I did that once. >> [laughter] >> And all of a sudden, I think smart
36. 7:19glasses are pretty interesting. Why is that? Well, that's what I'll talk about on the live tonight. So
37. 7:26big announcement from OpenAI tomorrow is very likely. Um it's going to involve Codex. I think it's it's actually
38. 7:38a pretty big deal what they're doing. If I've got it right. Um they put out an intriguing video today that's got some imagery in it.
39. 7:53It's got some little clues about what's coming. Um I think we'll see a new model from them tomorrow. >> [clears throat] >> But I'm not sure.
40. 8:06But there's a lot of news. A lot of news in health care. World models. Um Suno, our favorite little music uh
41. 8:17generating song, they just closed a $400 million uh series series D on a 5. 5.4 billion-dollar valuation.

54. 11:26version of Ideogram came out. Looks pretty good. It looks okay. Um They also launched the the weights of
55. 11:36that like it's it's I don't know if it's open source. I still think they have their safety guardrails in there. But um
56. 11:43But you can make images on a local model using that. I tried it today. It was I don't know. It wasn't I wasn't super
57. 11:49impressed. So I uninstalled it cuz it takes up a lot of RAM and stuff like that, a lot of hard drive space. Um but that happened today. Um
58. 11:58Just a lot of announcements and there's a lot of announcements that are pointing to stuff. They're pointing to what's coming.
59. 12:08They're pointing to how close we are to something being different. I know I've been saying that for a year. Well,
60. 12:19not really. I said 2026 was going to get wild. First third of 2026 was pretty wild. Um And I think by the end of this year it's
61. 12:33going to be the exponential will have will have massed. We will we will be on some version of the vertical.

67. 13:46it's going to be easy to disconnect. And I think we actually all need to reconnect. Um I think we need to reconnect in
68. 13:54person. I think we need to reconnect online, but actually like connect like actually connect. And uh yeah. Yeah, that.

73. 15:05the engagement with the show directly um has probably gone up I don't know 15 or 20%. Um and then has the engagement overall
74. 15:16in the salon gone up? It's hard to say. In some spaces, yes. Um the the AI learning lab irregulars channel is still the most active channel,
75. 15:25um, but there's there's some movement in other channels and people are like I would say that we're starting to
76. 15:32get more people going to events, um, than than we have before, which is good. Um, so but we probably won't know for a
77. 15:43month or two. We're also doing some things to drive new members in the AI salon. One of the fun things is we
78. 15:49actually officially passed 4,000 members, um, this week or last week, late last week or early this week.

92. 18:48like I think the term's only existed for about a year. Um enjoy it because I don't think we're going to be vibe coding that much

94. 19:03going to talk to agents. And I was talking about two new uh smart glasses came out today. There's a Linux pair that came out today. And
95. 19:11there was an another one. Um these agentic platforms, Codex and Cloud Code and anti-gravity with with Spark, I think it's called. Um
96. 19:28are going to likely be our interface to these things and what will happen is we won't even know that coding is happening.
97. 19:39We'll just say, "I need some stuff." And you could be wearing your glasses and it'll it'll shoot some [ __ ] on your
98. 19:44screen and say, "Hey, I did this stuff for you. Do you like it?" You'd be like, "Yeah, I don't really like it. Go make it
99. 19:50different." And it'll go off and 15 20 minutes later it'll come back and show you [ __ ] And I think that's I think that's where
100. 20:00this is headed. But, if you're vibe coding today and you're building [ __ ] it's actually it's pretty powerful. It's
