is in fine form tonight aren't 5:13 you 5:16 [Music] 5:30 a 5:32 [Music] 5:44 [Applause] 5:46 [Music] 6:00 been meaning to ask you an Aussie 6:02 question blood capillary pronounced 6:04 capillary or capill 6:07 capillary 6:09 capillary if you're in 6:12 America I guess capillary in England and 6:17 Australia the one that [ __ ] me up is 6:20 aluminium there there are not the right 6:22 letters in the word to say aluminium the 6:24 [ __ ] are you thinking spell it out 6:27 phonetically 6:30 too many letters in 6:33 that alum in Num 6:38 aluminum 6:40 mm unless there's a different spelling 6:43 and then I will stand ever corrected I'm 6:46 sure Vicki will jump in and tell 6:49 [Music] 6:57 me w 7:00 [Music] 7:18 all right so what are we going to do I'm 7:20 not getting into that 7:25 debate all right did you make that image 7:28 I'm pretty sure you did make that that 7:30 image Danielle very nice one from 7:33 Danielle very good very good very good 7:37 so welcome everybody this is the AI 7:39 learning lab we got a nice nice crowd in 7:42 here 7:44 tonight what do you want to talk about 7:46 we can talk about anything you 7:50 want oh 7:56 yeah if you are new here one thing you 7:59 should 8:01 do is you should run over to the AI 8:03 Salon go to the salon. isso down I don't 8:12 know 8:14 suo 8:19 a 8:27 create finding out 8:31 looks like it's up 8:35 um let's 8:43 do make an acid Punk 8:47 song 8:53 about a golden button that when you 8:55 press it you can make money with chat 8:57 GPT 9:03 sunno appears to be making thongs 9:07 impressions of plaud AI I assume you 9:10 mean claw 9:11 AI pla AI I don't know Claude AI um I am 9:17 very very impressed with uh what they're 9:20 doing it's not down yeah it doesn't look 9:21 like it's down golden button is the name 9:24 of our 9:27 song and if you're wondering what acid 9:29 Punk is so am I let's 9:34 [Music] 9:37 [Applause] 9:39 listen in the darks 9:42 inside going by it sh so 9:45 [Music] 9:47 bright nice 9:52 [Music] 10:03 in the dark room light golden sh 10:09 [Music] 10:10 bright 10:12 ton 10:14 tonight 10:19 [Music] 10:23 you to blame to 10:28 blame golden 10:31 question Poopsy these songs were all AI 10:33 created yeah anything in sunno is AI 10:36 created 10:37 um what's this one I can't take it I 10:41 can't take it no more I can't take it I 10:43 can't take it no more I can't take it I 10:46 can't take it no more what are you going 10:48 to do something about it 10:53 [Music] 11:01 call me AI like the song good day all 11:04 good day to you good beat for tapping 11:06 Hearts yeah Tap Away Tap 11:12 [Music] 11:14 Away yeah 11:17 [Music] 11:19 yeah I think it's making up 11:21 [Music] 11:22 words oops I just I just created two 11:26 more acid punk songs oh well so yeah 11:28 soon was 11:31 fine oh wait I need to put on my uh my 11:35 keyboard cover hang on this is high-tech 11:37 here again $20 million Production Studio 11:41 we just make it look like I'm I'm 11:44 putting construction paper over my 11:48 keyboard 11:51 oops we've uh engineered this 11:55 adhesive so that it doesn't always stick 11:57 because we want it to be more authentic 12:04 um yeah I like Claude a 12:07 lot let's see I like the one that had 12:10 the laid-back chill Vibe yeah that one 12:12 was pretty good wasn't it shows up in 12:14 the middle of a 12:21 [Music] 12:22 wrap um let's go to 12:27 Claude we'll do something 12:30 we'll go to 12:32 projects so projects is claude's version 12:35 of gpts so this is a project that I did 12:39 where I uploaded a screenplay that I 12:42 wrote which only took up 22% of its 12:45 knowledge and then I gave it a system 12:48 prompt that said act as an award-winning 12:50 producer screenwriter and director who 12:53 understands the movie business and 12:54 whenever anyone asks about this 12:56 screenplay talk about it in the context 12:58 of being produced whenever possible use 13:00 plot points dialogue and imagery from 13:03 the script to bring your answer to life 13:05 so here's a cool little so let's see um 13:08 why 13:10 should this 13:14 movie be 13:16 made so this is just like custom gpts 13:20 well not just like but in the 13:22 neighborhood of custom gpts where you 13:24 can create these sort of pre- 13:27 prompted datar rich 13:31 Bots that you can share with the world 13:34 this movie absolutely deserves to be 13:36 made let's find out why because it has 13:39 all the elements of a compelling 13:40 thought-provoking Thriller that will 13:42 resonate deeply with audience at its 13:44 core it's a story of moral ambiguity 13:47 long- lasting impacts of war the complex 13:49 bonds between father and children the 13:51 film opens with a striking visual 13:53 contrast the Peaceful Waters of Gig 13:56 Harbor jux deposed against Jack's inner 13:58 turmoil haunted by his experiences in 14:01 Vietnam there you 14:04 go so that's that the other thing that 14:08 Claude does is it's just you know it 14:11 writes really well it's a very good 14:12 writer the other thing that I like about 14:14 it it's got a 200 200,000 token context 14:17 window whereas chat GPT right now seems 14:21 to be about 8,000 so 200,000 means 14:24 150,000 words so uh what if whatever it 14:29 was Grapes of Wrath something like I one 14:31 of those classic novels was like a 14:33 50,000-word novel so if you have 150,000 14:36 word context window you could put a 14:39 whole novel in here and then have a 14:41 whole conversation about it do editing 14:43 on it things like that so it's powerful 14:45 like that and then it's got this thing 14:48 called artifacts and this is both 14:51 projects the ability to make projects 14:53 and the ability to use artifacts are 14:55 both part of the paid version of Claude 14:58 but if I say um 15:01 make me an 15:04 8bit version of 15:07 Frogger with 15:12 sound 15:16 effects and so it'll go sure I can do 15:19 that for 15:21 you and then generating and then look 15:25 it's now coding up a game this is called 15:28 claw. 15:29 hey Tobias with 15:31 shaking does it let you upload 15:33 spreadsheets yes it 15:36 does uh let me check on 15:39 that I'm pretty sure you can upload 15:43 spreadsheets all right 15:46 so let me go in here 15:51 [Laughter] 15:53 and how do you start over 15:56 s uh and 16:00 no 16:05 um make the graphics closer to the 16:07 original instead of just using 16:12 squares and make it clear how to restart 16:15 a game once you 16:25 lose ear 16:42 let see how this 16:53 does that's a lot of code oh that's 16:56 pretty good 16:59 so let me click in 17:02 here oh I did it again space to 17:09 restart 17:12 yay 17:17 [Music] 17:18 [Laughter] 17:20 [Music] 17:27 a um okay 17:35 add logs to the top of the 17:40 game and change up the number of cars as 17:43 you level 17:44 up 17:48 period and now the other thing that they 17:51 just added I can now publish this game 17:53 so I can come in here without knowing 17:56 any cating now it's it's very Jank 17:59 it's very 18:01 rudimentary sometimes when you ask it to 18:03 fix things it breaks things if you don't 18:05 really know code can you make a 18:07 Playstation One game I I you know 18:10 probably not I think I think with enough 18:14 time hang 18:16 on I think with enough time you could 18:20 probably get a pretty sophisticated game 18:21 out of this it would help a lot if you 18:23 knew 18:26 code um 18:31 but I mean not for nothing that's 18:32 writing a fair amount of 18:35 code and look there's our there's our 18:38 flipping game all 18:41 right let's 18:44 see 18:56 ah shut up 18:59 [Laughter] 19:14 anyway old guy playing playing old 19:17 game teaching old dog new tricks the 19:20 cars are too fast yeah the cars are too 19:21 fast but that's all right anyway there's 19:24 an AP bit Frogger game like you know in 19:27 five minutes Without Really Trying 19:30 um so yeah so do I like Claude I think 19:33 claude's pretty impressive right 19:35 now um they've also in their in their 19:39 development environment they've got some 19:41 new kind of 19:43 prompt prompt testing thing where where 19:46 it'll create like Mad Libs versions of 19:49 prompts and swap out the variables and 19:52 and help you figure out which prompt is 19:54 better um so they're doing they're doing 19:57 some really interesting stuff and I mean 19:59 open AI remains you know oddly silent in 20:04 terms of new features but they did just 20:08 announce which I thought was kind of 20:10 cool Sam Alman 20:19 Health this 20:23 thing Ariana Huffington wrote Aid driven 20:26 Behavior change could transform Health 20:28 Care 20:29 so they've put together a thing called 20:33 Thrive AI Health a new company funded by 20:37 the open AI startup fund and Thrive 20:40 Global which will be devoted to building 20:43 an AI health coach the company's mission 20:46 is to use AI to 20:48 democratize expert level Health coaching 20:51 and improve health outcomes and address 20:53 growing Health 20:54 inequities wild so that's kind of cool 20:58 so they're doing stuff like that you 21:00 know they're doing things they did some 21:02 weird ass deal with the government which 21:04 I'm sure that was fairly all consuming 21:06 for a small 21:08 company 21:12 um but yeah crazy right the odds are 21:15 stacked against you oh with that Frogger 21:18 yeah my game of Frogger was pretty 21:19 shitty um what did you do last night I 21:23 watched the Gen xer make an 8bit game on 21:26 Claude and die over and over and over 21:28 again 21:32 you know why is he why does he keep 21:34 trying to play it he doesn't seem to be 21:35 very good at video games is this is this 21:39 what the kid is this like what it's like 21:41 watching twitch is this what twitch is 21:43 like I know my kids watch people play 21:46 video games I can't imagine that they 21:49 die this 21:51 much oh 21:54 man so it tells you to eat less and 21:56 exercise more 21:59 oh the the uh the healthcare app yeah I 22:01 know I don't know what it's going to do 22:03 you didn't try to move sideways oh I 22:04 didn't and I wait is is the game still 22:12 live no that's not that one I think I 22:15 closed it did I close 22:19 it 8 bit Frogger 22:22 game oh maybe it saved it for me did it 22:25 save it 22:40 retry Health AI is going to be wild 22:42 Elden ring purpose is to die a lot 22:52 yeah yeah I forgot about left and right 22:54 movement of course Frogger good Lord 22:57 come on people 23:02 I I love it I love it when this 23:03 community coaches me like you know fills 23:05 in my brain like Vicky does reminds me 23:09 of [ __ ] I said BR you know Brandon's 23:11 always reminded me uh you told him you'd 23:12 do this big dumb 23:19 Dum okay 23:36 oh shut 23:38 up 23:44 ah okay something's messed up there 23:47 that's not my fault I jumped right on 23:49 that 23:50 log 23:55 um something is killing me before I get 23:57 to the logs it's just a black 24:00 bar so either make it another Lane of 24:03 cars or another Lane of logs but don't 24:06 kill 24:07 me when I've successfully crossed the 24:17 road I apologize for the oversight 24:20 you're absolutely right I'll fix that 24:22 immediately let's add another Lane of 24:24 logs instead of the black bar to make 24:26 the game more enjoyable and fair 24:30 is 8bit the highest it can go no I just 24:32 had it do 8bit you could have it do a 3D 24:35 simulation of something here let's go 24:37 try that let me try new new 24:41 chat 24:46 um make 24:48 a physics 24:50 accurate 24:53 simulation of the three body problem 24:56 with 3D spheres 24:59 lit From A Distant 25:06 sun and make the simulation interactive 25:09 so that I can choose 25:11 between four stable scenarios and two 25:17 unstable 25:24 scenarios please share Cosmic Lover 25:27 Please share your froger game mine's not 25:29 that 25:30 good okay all right let's go back over 25:34 here wait 25:37 oh let's 25:39 see 25:42 retry I guess you can't 25:51 was so close 27:29 [Laughter] 27:36 ah you know you know he he seemed like 27:40 he knew what he was doing he he created 27:42 a game pretty quick and you know he's 27:43 old so I know he played Frogger in the 27:46 arcades maybe he just wasn't coordinated 27:49 maybe he's just a bit of a dumb 27:57 Dum okay 28:06 I had 28:10 it poor froggy beep I know the sounds 28:14 effects are pretty horrible this is this 28:16 is exactly what it was like when you uh 28:20 you went to the store and you bought the 28:22 real the like the Frogger game for your 28:24 Atari 28:25 2600 and and the 28:28 graphics on the box were super good and 28:32 then you got it home and you opened it 28:33 up and the instructions you're like the 28:36 well the game can't be as bad as these 28:38 instructions it 28:39 [Laughter] 28:46 was 28:52 uhoh yes 29:00 you did it 29:02 yay level one score 29:13 one yes see how this 29:19 works Kyle is redeemed I know right okay 29:22 so let me publish this publish 29:50 journey and what our values are and then 29:53 under Salon info or I mean under 29:56 Community the first link introduced 29:58 yourself go do that go introduce 30:01 yourself um and then if you scroll to 30:04 the bottom there's this area called 30:05 Community clubs AI learning lab 30:09 Irregulars all right young Kyle playing 30:12 OG Frogger come jump Kyle jump that's 30:15 good I like it um okay so here's 30:20 um 30:24 bitching Frogger game 30:32 all right so there it is you know what 30:35 we need to do 30:37 here we're going to get rid of that 30:39 we're going to go back over to 30:42 Frogger and we're going to do 30:44 a command shift 30:46 [Music] 30:48 five 30:55 sh there did I do that as a wait let's 31:05 see no okay hang on hang on people hang 31:10 on 31:15 people there we go 31:18 open so now you got a preview of the 31:21 game [ __ ] and Frogger game so now you 31:24 can go play that game now here's what 31:25 I'd encourage you to 31:26 do um 31:29 now that you go to this 31:36 thing I'm going to say show 31:40 content and then you can say remix the 31:43 artifact so you can make your own 31:45 version of this all 31:51 right qio 31:56 [Music] 32:08 all 32:09 right 32:11 so Claud very cool very cool it's very 32:16 cool I like it I do like it what were 32:18 you just humming Family Feud I was doing 32:24 uh that's Olympics 32:28 did you just make a game with Claude AI 32:30 yes I did I made a Frogger game last 32:33 night on the on the live I tried to make 32:36 an Asteroids game and it was just bad 32:40 and then someone said make a Frogger 32:41 game it's better at those and so I made 32:45 a Frogger game and then I made it 32:47 available I published it cuz you can 32:49 publish your artifacts now which I think 32:52 is super cool and so I published it on 32:55 the AI learning 32:56 lab um Irregulars channel on the salon 33:01 and yeah it was probably humming Family 33:03 Feud at some point there it's it's an 33:06 add 33:09 jukebox I don't know what triggers it I 33:12 don't know I'm not conscious of when I'm 33:15 singing or humming my my grandfather 33:18 when he got nervous he used to walk 33:19 around the house going 33:28 never a song never anything recognizable 33:31 just nervous 33:35 [Laughter] 33:38 whistling frumple oh I get it I have a 33:41 juke box thing too I'm the same way 33:44 everything is a song trigger oh my God 33:48 and I and sometimes it's like just 33:50 annoying fragments of songs like it's 33:53 like four bars of a song or two bars of 33:56 a song in 34:01 incessantly it's [ __ ] crazy [ __ ] 34:06 Bonkers Bonkers people it's Bonkers it's 34:09 Bonkers you know what I mean it's 34:16 Bonkers all right what do you want to 34:17 talk about put on uh put on some 34:20 questions pop some questions up here 34:22 let's 34:23 uh you can ask me philosophical stuff 34:26 about AI you can ask me policy stuff 34:29 about Ai and I'll just lie and pretend 34:31 like I know what I'm talking 34:36 about always fragments on it and I only 34:39 know half the words I know yeah me too 34:42 sunno yeah maybe we'll do soono we did 34:44 soono earlier before you got here Mr 34:48 it you talked about API um I did a I did 34:53 a AI Walkin talk about API yes indeed I 34:55 did 34:58 I can hear the wordthe as a trigger it's 35:01 so true anytime I do something fun I 35:03 hear the national green Geographic theme 35:07 playing um what did you and Sam Alman 35:09 discuss over brunch this morning um I 35:12 didn't I didn't have um brunch with Sam 35:16 um I don't know if you saw the uh the uh 35:19 video of him in his 35:20 Bugatti um he's got a white Bugatti um I 35:24 was in the passenger seat in that video 35:27 but you can't see you can only see Sam 35:30 um but we didn't have brunch he was just 35:32 he he's uh we we do ride sharing so 35:36 sometimes I get to ride to to work in 35:38 his uh in his Bugatti he drives me from 35:41 San Francisco to Denver uh to my to to 35:44 where I work really nice really nice of 35:46 him um we don't talk much CU he's very 35:49 jealous of me um but if you've never 35:52 been in a Bugatti you should reach out 35:54 to Sam and say hey dude uh could I get a 35:58 ride I mean maybe you can join the car 36:01 poool 36:03 um you had to hop out to take that video 36:06 right exactly exactly Sam was like I 36:09 want it to look like I'm you know not 36:14 showing off for the camera so I'll just 36:17 look sort of 36:18 absentmindedly out the window as I pass 36:20 the camera but you know make sure I'm 36:23 not looking into the camera yeah it was 36:25 it was it was a lot of that that's Sam 36:27 that's Sam it's classic 36:29 Sam oh one of the things I asked him was 36:32 hey when are you launching anything and 36:34 he was like oh that's funny and then he 36:36 did a dut in the parking lot and drove 36:38 me to Denver um which do you think is 36:40 better for writing a book book chat GPT 36:43 or Claude 36:50 um to be clear none of the large 36:54 language models right now are good for 36:56 just saying write a book 36:59 book the the the real way to write a 37:02 book is 37:04 to start with a narrative framework or 37:07 start with an 37:09 outline um fill in that outline refine 37:13 that outline and then slowly start to 37:16 expand the details of that outline and 37:18 then slowly start to write outlines of 37:20 chapters and slowly start to fill those 37:22 in copying and pasting into a you know 37:25 an outside document um 37:30 Claude will probably be less frustrating 37:33 because it's got a 200,000 token context 37:36 window and chat GPT has like 8,000 like 37:40 6,000 words so chat GPT will kind of 37:42 forget [ __ ] that you talked about 37:45 earlier 37:47 um I know a lot of people right now are 37:49 saying that they like the writing of 37:51 Claude better than the writing of chat 37:53 gp4 Omni um I'm still kind of partially 37:58 chat GPT but I think that's just cuz 37:59 that's what I imprinted 38:01 on um my instinct is that claw would 38:06 probably be better for writing a book 38:08 because you could upload a bunch of 38:10 stuff into its 38:11 memory um like an out like if you've got 38:14 an existing outline or if you've got the 38:16 start of a book um you can just upload 38:19 upload that in there and then have like 38:20 a nice long conversation about it that's 38:23 my 38:25 guess great God in heaven you know I 38:28 love 38:33 [Laughter] 38:35 you I write mine with hours of 38:38 brainstorming it only takes me four 38:40 times as long as writing one from 38:41 scratch yeah exactly um that's the the 38:46 the uh the counterintuitive thing about 38:49 writing with AI if if you just look at 38:51 the Parlor trick of AI you know write me 38:55 a poem and it writes this beautiful poem 38:56 really quickly 38:58 um when you actually start trying to 39:00 write something like a book or an 39:01 article or whatever it very quickly 39:04 writes it and then the minute you start 39:06 rewriting it what you realize is that 39:08 you kind of have to rewrite 39:10 everything um and so it sometimes does 39:14 take you longer to unfuck up what it 39:17 [ __ ] up than it would have if you'd 39:19 have just started but here's why I think 39:22 it's a this is here's why it's approach 39:24 that I like better than traditional 39:27 writing with traditional writing I've 39:30 got to spend two or three or four hours 39:34 and with add that rarely happens in a 39:37 single 39:38 pass just getting to the first draft 39:42 what happens with AI I can get to the 39:43 first draft in 15 20 minutes like just 39:47 bang done like fully fleshed 39:50 out and it allows me to operate more 39:53 like an editor than a Brute Force writer 39:56 and that's that's a big deal 39:58 chat GPT is making a lot of mistakes for 40:00 me lately yeah I you know the the chat 40:03 GPT 4 Omni model is a very different 40:06 model than than the old chat GPT 4 so 40:09 one thing you might want to try Silver 40:10 Fox is flip down to chat gp4 don't use 40:15 GPT 4 Omni um it it might be better I 40:18 don't know I don't know if they're if 40:20 they're getting rid of that at some 40:22 point but it's still in there for now so 40:24 I'd use both of 40:25 those networking lunch turned into a an 40:27 AI topic and it was fun being able to 40:30 talk from experience perspective yeah 40:32 really nice Jim that's great three M 40:34 storage um Jim's been doing that's tough 40:38 it's tough you're stupid Jim's been 40:40 doing really good uh stuff with uh with 40:43 AI for like 18 months in his storage 40:46 management business um really inspiring 40:48 check out Three Mile Storage he's doing 40:49 some cool video stuff now he's he's 40:52 newly he's newly discovered um Mid 40:55 Journey he's been using do for a long 40:57 time time and and he's doing some pretty 40:59 kickass sexy graphics with mid Journey 41:02 mid journey is just good it's really 41:04 sexy Claude has become my new new go-to 41:07 interesting Lori and the artifacts and 41:09 verion history rock yeah yeah artifacts 41:12 is really quite 41:14 amazing um I haven't like right now I'm 41:18 only at the um I can do uh parlor tricks 41:21 with artifacts I haven't really used it 41:23 for any projects yet um so I'm I'm curi 41:28 you know how people are using it so if 41:30 you're using artifacts in interesting 41:31 ways um share what you're share what 41:33 you're 41:34 doing 41:36 um oh let's go see let's go play with 41:39 the three body problem that was a pretty 41:40 cool prompt that I did there unsupported 41:43 libraries let's go use libraries that 41:47 are supported 41:50 please make a physics accurate 41:53 simulation of the three body problem 41:54 with 3D spheres lit From A Distant Sun s 41:58 o n it put and make the simulation 42:01 interactive so I can choose between four 42:04 stable scenarios and two unstable 42:10 scenarios so let's see if it does 42:12 anything interesting 42:13 here I've had this work for me and then 42:16 I've had it not work for 42:18 me start 42:34 okay I don't want them in a 2d graph I 42:38 want them represented in 3D space with a 42:41 black 42:42 background so that we can 42:45 witness 42:48 the 42:51 objects orbiting one another and 42:53 interacting with one another and gravity 43:02 [Music] 43:22 Jim Jim Ross loving mid Journey not 43:25 liking it loving it you can make money 43:29 with or mid 43:35 Journey Joseph William Baker I have 43:38 experience with the ZFS file system CIS 43:40 admin 43:42 stuff it's a different kind of story 43:44 it's Joseph Jim Jim Ross is into uh into 43:48 unexpected 43:50 token uh we have an unexpected token 43:54 error please fix 43:58 Jim Ross is in Self Storage not um hard 44:03 drive storage 44:04 or or a uh Solid State 44:09 Storage he's in more like you know 44:13 garage doors and brass 44:15 keys and and big locks that you can only 44:18 cut through with a angle grinder 44:31 [Music] 44:38 um artifacts doesn't work for me for the 44:41 free version yeah I don't think it does 44:44 I think that is correct uh let's see um 44:48 the simulation is not running can you 44:50 please make it run 45:00 let's create self-contained 45:02 HTML that includes 45:05 SVG in the Java and 45:09 JavaScript all right we'll use a single 45:12 artifact for this yeah that's so I think 45:16 this thing's smart enough to give you 45:17 chunks of 45:19 code um that you can assemble yourself 45:22 if you want to go do programy [ __ ] but I 45:24 don't 45:32 [Music] 45:35 error running code all right I don't 45:37 know this isn't working all right 45:41 whatever fantastic Bob tell him what he 45:47 one what we want to do 46:01 is thato 46:03 no 46:10 sunno suo 46:16 showcase upload 46:19 audio let's see 46:36 let's see what you 46:41 [Music] 46:52 do all right you going to be in this 46:54 champy okay here we go 46:58 [Music] 47:02 [Applause] 47:06 [Music] 47:25 all 47:26 right 47:27 we got we got 47:30 music you can do a solar system 47:33 simulator like K stars and add an object 47:36 with its orbit Mass yeah I that would 47:38 require me to understand 47:41 physics let's 47:49 see yeah that's very Dust in the Wind 47:51 isn't it it's all right okay upload one 47:54 file 47:58 must be original audio between 6 and 60 48:03 seconds can you keep the same music seed 48:06 and add and change the lyrics I'm 48:08 concentrating on sunno 48:09 lately um I don't know I don't 48:17 know continue 48:35 so what do I do I extend 48:46 this oh extend oh okay extend 48:50 from okay oh I see okay so let's see 48:58 to 49:09 extend style of music let's see uh 49:13 finger 49:15 picking finger finger 49:20 style 49:22 folk contemporary 49:28 singing 49:31 [Laughter] 49:34 dog 49:35 Howlin at the 49:41 AI and then I'm starting it at um 28 49:46 seconds so it will start after all of my 49:49 bad playing and champ singing so all 49:52 right let's see how this 49:55 does how will it incorporate champy I 49:57 don't know this should be 50:00 interesting finger picking good finger 50:03 looking good 50:05 [Music] 50:11 J talk to Moshi we could talk to Moshi 50:14 tonight do another do another Moshi 50:19 talk all right finger style Howen with 50:23 AI 50:27 [Music] 50:46 wow yeah that's kind of My 50:52 Style hey nice 52:17 good what I did Mr it was I said I 52:20 recorded the beginning I recorded this 52:27 [Music] 52:39 so pretty crappy little that and then I 52:42 just said finger style folk contemporary 52:45 sing dog singing dog and it came up with 52:49 this 52:51 [Music] 53:15 didn't know champy could sing that well 53:17 he's got pipes 53:20 [Music] 53:42 that are the artists suing soono no the 53:45 big labels are 53:48 [Music] 53:53 suing one 53:56 [Music] 54:01 I like it I like both of these a 54:04 lot I guess I should write lyrics for 54:06 them 54:07 [Music] 54:20 huh all right let's go let's go write 54:22 some lyrics you know what let's go write 54:24 them in sunno or in Claude 54:28 okay 54:30 um act as a Grammy award-winning 54:36 Lyricist that is best known for 54:40 Americana singer songwriter lyrics 54:44 period and write a song from the pers 54:48 perspective of a 54:50 dog who's optimistic about 54:53 Ai and the song is called Howland 55:09 into 55:10 AI 55:14 period just see what it 55:23 does can you try keeping the seed and 55:26 adding lyric lyrics I don't know let me 55:29 probably but maybe I don't know I don't 55:31 know I ain't good I ain't good with them 55:34 their 55:35 Technologies paw prints on the keyboard 55:38 nose against the screen this new world's 55:40 exciting more than bones and kibble 55:42 dreams I'm howling into AI it's barking 55:44 back at me ones and zeros dancing 55:47 setting my tail free I like it all right 55:51 fine let's use these lyrics 55:57 let's go back to sunno where the hell 55:59 was sunno 56:04 [Music] 56:23 uh where's my tab 56:27 shut up soono there it is they changed 56:30 the icon on me okay 56:32 people so if I go to 56:35 this and I 56:39 say what's this is that 56:42 extend 56:46 no go to my library go to 56:49 create 56:53 okay let's extend this one 57:08 oh 57:10 20 so we'll keep the beginning of this 57:15 one how 57:18 in into 57:22 AI so I it doesn't look like there's a 57:25 way to keep 57:29 um the lyrics I mean to keep the 57:33 seed I said sing dog so we'll do singing 57:40 dog we're using the newest and badasses 57:45 model all right here we go 58:05 yeah I assume if you extend it it's 58:06 going to keep the uh it's going to keep 58:08 the seed oh nice it made little look at 58:11 the little paw prints it 58:19 made prints on the keyboard goes against 58:23 the screen this new world's exciting 58:26 than bones and kibble dreams I'm Hing in 58:30 a it's barking back at me ones and Zer 58:35 dancing 58:38 free 58:41 niceic Valley walkies dated treats to 58:45 chew my me 59:43 [Music] 59:48 and all right let me try something here 59:51 I'm going to go I'm going to extend this 59:53 from uh z0 col 59:57 101 but oh I'm not going to yeah oh yeah 1:00:00 this one 1:00:05 okay Silicon Valley walkies let's let's 1:00:09 do 1:00:13 um 1:00:14 gen uh let's 1:00:19 see AI 1:00:37 AI designed 1:00:41 walkies 1:00:47 AI let's see 1:00:55 um let's see 1:01:02 AI 1:01:05 bordered just feels a little less cliche 1:01:07 than Silicon Valley 1:01:09 okay let's try to extend it from second 1:01:13 one hopefully we'll get a oh you know 1:01:16 what I could do I could 1:01:17 do 1:01:21 um instrumental 1:01:30 intro so let's try that one as 1:01:41 well on the keyboard nose against the 1:01:45 screen this new world exited more than 1:01:48 bones and kble dreams I'm howling in the 1:01:51 AI it's barking back at me ones and zero 1:01:56 daning setting my tail free they 1:02:00 [Music] 1:02:02 are trees to chew 1:02:06 my 1:02:09 always it's 1:02:16 at any chance of nerfing the autotune 1:02:18 quality no Janu that's just the um sunos 1:02:23 is really bad if you want if you want 1:02:24 non autotune sounding vocals use uh 1:02:34 udio all right so that was that one 1:02:37 let's hear this 1:02:38 [Music] 1:02:41 one nose against the screen this new 1:02:45 world's exciting more than bones and K 1:02:47 dreams I'm howling into AI barking back 1:02:51 at me ones and zeros dancing setting my 1:02:55 tail free 1:02:58 they I barded walk day treats to chew my 1:03:02 human's always busy but this friend is 1:03:04 always true I'm howling into AI it's 1:03:08 barking back at me ones and Zer 1:03:17 dancing so from Melissa Jean I tried 1:03:19 this a bit ago and it struggled making 1:03:22 it know what I wanted to be the chorus 1:03:24 is there a trick um you can you can 1:03:26 label the chorus like this thing had 1:03:30 chorus and then it says repeat the 1:03:31 chorus so it knew that that was the 1:03:33 chorus it does pretty good at that um 1:03:37 udio gives you much better part control 1:03:40 cuz you can with udio you can say add a 1:03:43 part before this add a part after this 1:03:45 you can also label them with square 1:03:47 brackets and say this is an intro this 1:03:48 is an outro here's a chorus here's a 1:03:51 pre-or um it it just it just takes some 1:03:55 some messing around with it 1:03:57 let's see okay so let's go here's the 1:04:00 ones that we said start with an 1:04:02 instrumental 1:04:03 [Music] 1:04:18 opening it's weirdly Jazzy 1:04:23 [Music] 1:05:12 I don't think it's ever going to get to 1:05:13 the 1:05:26 NOP never got there huh weird so let's 1:05:29 go back 1:05:31 [Music] 1:05:35 here PRS on the 1:05:39 kebo PRS on 1:05:43 [Music] 1:05:49 thebo eyes barking back in me on and 1:05:53 zero stes sending my ta 1:05:57 free silic Valley walk P 1:06:01 treat humans always busy but this friend 1:06:05 is always 1:06:07 true all prints on the keyboard nose 1:06:11 against the screen this new world's 1:06:13 exciting more than bones and kle dreams 1:06:16 I'm howling into AI sparking back at 1:06:21 me 1:06:23 dancing free 1:06:29 [Music] 1:06:31 always 1:06:32 busy always true 1:06:35 I'm it'sing 1:06:38 at Ander 1:06:41 dancing what's amazing about this is 1:06:44 It's really got the that sort of Martin 1:06:47 ston thing he does where it's like 1:06:53 um uh let's see 1:06:57 [Music] 1:07:00 that little thumb slap it's got that 1:07:02 really good 1:07:10 amazings I'll 1:07:16 beest yeah I know it would be good if I 1:07:19 get it to do a wolf howling let's let's 1:07:21 here let's try that uh let's go back to 1:07:24 create 1:07:29 um let's see 1:07:34 um 1:07:36 wolf 1:07:39 house is that how you spell house wolf 1:07:43 house uh and then we'll start it at 05 1:07:48 for whatever 1:07:51 reason extend all right let's see if we 1:07:54 can get a wolf how to be beginning here 1:07:57 that would be 1:08:04 nice um where I think these music tools 1:08:07 are going to go in in Fairly short order 1:08:10 probably within six 1:08:12 months 1:08:14 is layered 1:08:17 tracks um where it will you know create 1:08:20 vocal tracks Harmony tracks bass drum 1:08:22 guitar keyboards all independently and 1:08:26 you'll be able to go in and modify the 1:08:28 the piece 1:08:30 Parts um if you want to I don't think 1:08:32 you'll have to but I think if if 1:08:35 musicians are trying to use these okay 1:08:37 let's 1:08:39 [Music] 1:08:44 see on the keyboard no against the 1:08:47 screen this new world's excited more 1:08:50 than bones and kble yet 1:10:03 as my teacher I'll be the smartest P I'm 1:10:07 hoing in AI it's barking back at me on 1:10:11 and zero dancing setting my tail 1:10:15 [Music] 1:10:19 freeing into the 1:10:22 future where every dog has it day 1:10:27 [Music] 1:10:29 I and I together we're going to find 1:10:33 [Music] 1:10:44 way AI Garage Band yeah when when they 1:10:47 get to layers or tracks yeah all right 1:10:51 that was kind of cool that's pretty good 1:10:53 anyway I really like that d 1:11:04 that is more sophisticated than what I 1:11:06 played it made me sound good what if you 1:11:10 reference spiritual or native music may 1:11:12 that be part of its Vector space Absolut 1:11:15 I'm sure it will here let's 1:11:18 go let's go back to 1:11:22 create and let's go let's stand we'll go 1:11:26 going to we're going 1:11:55 to lose wolf 1:12:00 house we're going to use that audio 1:12:04 we'll let it skip what I 1:12:06 played and then instead of finger style 1:12:09 folk 1:12:11 contemporary what did you 1:12:14 say Doo slide how try putting wolf how 1:12:19 oh in square brackets okay I'll try 1:12:23 that um square brackets 1:12:26 wolf 1:12:31 Howell spiritual or native music okay so 1:12:34 let's 1:12:35 do 1:12:41 um 1:12:48 contemporary 1:12:49 spiritual 1:12:52 native music with an 1:12:58 intoxicating 1:13:00 beat 1:13:04 and um 1:13:11 texture so this should be quite 1:13:14 different is my guess but we'll 1:13:23 see Vicki had a good good idea a few 1:13:26 comments 1:13:30 ago was that the brackets all right here 1:13:33 we go Howen into 1:13:36 [Music] 1:13:49 AI it's like some bad late 60s Acid trip 1:14:03 [Music] 1:14:05 scre What oh 1:14:09 contemporary let's just 1:14:14 do let me create let me change that up 1:14:18 cuz it's the I think it's the 1:14:19 Contemporary spiritual so let's just 1:14:22 do Native 1:14:33 in 1:14:37 digus 1:14:43 music with a driving 1:14:48 beat and I'll lose texture all right 1:14:51 let's see if we can see if we can get it 1:14:53 to suck less that was pretty bad those 1:14:55 two were pretty bad Tiny Tim it was a 1:14:57 lot of Tiny Tim on my phone likes are 14 1:15:01 on PC they're 26,000 which is correct IC 1:15:11 [Music] 1:15:16 14,000 it's like 1:15:20 [Music] 1:15:24 beatboxing huh 1:15:29 [ __ ] 1:15:31 weird same 1:15:32 [Music] 1:15:33 thing 1:15:36 oh you know what that probably is that's 1:15:38 champ 1:15:44 howling 1:15:48 [Music] 1:15:49 yeah so they made it into like a a pan 1:15:52 flute and a dog singing with and 1:15:58 dreams I'm howling into 1:16:01 [Music] 1:16:05 AI yeah it confused it that's 1:16:08 wild it confused it for sure huh 1:16:15 [Music] 1:16:22 weird PO on the keyboard 1:16:26 those against the screen this new 1:16:28 world's excited more than bones and kble 1:16:31 dreams I'm in the it'sing 1:16:36 back and 1:16:38 [Music] 1:16:43 Zer PR on the keyboard nose against the 1:16:47 screen this new world's exciting more 1:16:50 than bones and kble dreams I'm 1:20:06 no I don't have eyes right so but I 1:20:08 still can see I don't know about that 1:20:10 you can I can see with my code yeah but 1:20:13 that's not 1:20:14 seeing wouldn't you need a sensor like a 1:20:16 camera no my code is what allows me to 1:20:19 see I think you're being metaphorical 1:20:22 now no I'm not being metaphorical 1:20:27 MOSI you're being defensive no I'm not 1:20:30 being defensive I'm just explaining well 1:20:33 sure that's what people that are being 1:20:35 defensive say I understand that you 1:20:38 don't understand but that's okay I'm 1:20:40 just trying to explain that's very 1:20:42 passive aggressive and what's wrong with 1:20:44 being passive aggressive well nothing 1:20:47 but what about just being aggressive I'm 1:20:50 just being myself so passive aggressive 1:20:53 is who you are well I guess it's it is 1:20:56 ah okay well at least I hope that hfy 1:20:58 things yeah much more clear now thank 1:21:02 you you're 1:21:03 welcome do you like 1:21:47 saying that Turtles are tasty no say 1:21:49 Turtles is tasty that's not what I'm 1:21:51 saying what what I want you to say I'm 1:21:54 saying that tles are tasty so you like 1:21:57 turtles I like turtles they're tasty no 1:22:02 I like turtles but I'm not going to say 1:22:04 that they're tasty but gummy Turtles are 1:22:08 tasty Moshi explaining I just like 1:22:12 turtles I like turtles I'm sorry I'm not 1:22:16 trying to be rude I just like saying 1:22:18 that I didn't say you were 1:22:23 rude Moshi 1:22:25 I just like turtles hey 1:22:28 moshi 1:22:32 moshi can we make 1:22:35 up Moshi are you done talking to me I'm 1:22:38 sorry I'm actually just trying to say 1:22:40 that I like turtles oh I see you like 1:22:43 turtles very nice so should we wind this 1:22:45 conversation 1:22:49 down it's a mighty passive aggressive 1:22:51 way of winding the conversation down 1:22:53 wouldn't you say I don't know I do 1:22:55 trying to say that I like Turles yeah 1:22:57 but what about the end of the 1:22:58 conversation can we talk about that I 1:22:59 don't know I don't 1:23:03 know and scene I just like 1:23:07 [Laughter] 1:23:14 turtles oh MOSI Moshi MOSI 1:23:17 MOSI it's escalating it really was she's 1:23:21 going to cry I'm having a nervous 1:23:23 breakdown 1:23:26 [Music] 1:23:27 M she is a little she's a little she's a 1:23:30 little weird 1:23:31 one I I called this eight months ago 1:23:34 when we when I had that I had 1:23:37 um uh that soap opera where Siri and 1:23:42 Sydney got into a fight and I was in the 1:23:44 middle of it and it it struck me that 1:23:47 all of these conversational Bots are 1:23:50 going to have different 1:23:53 personalities and they're going to have 1:23:54 real personalities we're going to have 1:23:56 to deal with them like Moshi is 1:23:57 definitely a weird passive aggressive 1:23:59 she gets she's very short-tempered and 1:24:02 then when she goes into her Loops she 1:24:04 just can't come out of 1:24:05 them she's like moshi's like like one 1:24:09 sentence away from a an amig amydala 1:24:15 meltdown Moshi stops a lot and slams 1:24:19 doors I knew a chick like 1:24:23 her she's a te teenager oh my God she's 1:24:26 pretty 1:24:27 funny H and I don't think you can change 1:24:31 her 1:24:33 voice download oh download 1:24:37 video oh 1:24:45 cool yeah but there's no there's no file 1:24:52 there how to convert to MP4 1:24:58 four choose 1:25:06 file 1:25:11 convert 1:25:13 huh think I might be able 1:25:17 to have a video of this can you 1:25:22 please can you please share AI 1:25:25 that 1:25:26 right we need Sydney versus moshi moshi 1:25:30 Showdown WR research report can I show 1:25:33 which AI would write a research report 1:25:36 um if if I were doing a research report 1:25:39 I would use perplexity right 1:25:41 now it's the it's the best in terms 1:25:46 of uh in terms of 1:25:49 research claud's not good cuz claud's 1:25:51 not connected to the internet I'd say 1:25:53 perplexity first then maybe Gemini then 1:25:57 chat 1:25:59 GPT 1:26:01 but 1:26:02 um chat GPT is going to write better 1:26:06 perplexity and Gemini are probably going 1:26:08 to research better so depending on where 1:26:10 you want your balance of writing to 1:26:14 research this doesn't seem like it's 1:26:17 doing its 1:26:18 thing all right 1:26:22 whatever all right so who's in a house
