7:17 spends millions of dollars on thumbnails
7:19 and things like that.

7:23 but uh since Lord Digital Gods processes
7:28 all of the he creates all the chapters
7:31 and descriptions for the videos, I
7:33 thought is there a way for him to take,
7:36 you know, the scripts that he's written
7:37 and basically incorporate
7:40 nano banana image generation into that
7:43 mix somehow. And he's been vibe coding
7:46 for two or three days. And so he's now
7:48 got a system that we're going to be able
7:50 to well he's going to be able to
7:52 automatically take uh you know stuff
7:56 from the YouTube channel and turn it
7:58 into YouTube thumbnails, right? And we
8:02 can upload it like example thumbnails
8:04 that we wanted to mimic. And so this is
8:06 one where he put up a bunch of pictures
8:09 and then added Champy to it and put me
8:11 in a tux.
8:14 I just did a product shoot with a client
8:19 with Nano Banana. He's going to flip. I
8:21 just did a product shoot. Yeah, a
8:23 product shoot. Maybe that's something
8:25 we'll play with tonight is we'll make
8:26 some we'll make some product images.
8:30 But is he vibe coding in Gemini? I think
8:33 he's vibe coding in chat GBT. Vicki, he
8:36 started in Claude and he said Claude
8:38 just failed. It kept it kept like
8:40 booting him for not having enough
8:42 credits. I I gotta say, Claude, right
8:44 now, you know, one of the one of the
8:48 things that's going on with all these um
8:52 all these large language models is
8:54 they're spending way more money than
8:56 they're making, right? They're in growth
8:57 acquisition mode and so they're spending
9:00 ridiculous amounts of money. Claude
9:02 doesn't they don't overspend. I think
9:04 they just cut you off and it's like
9:06 people are starting to leave Claude
9:08 because of that. So, I I think that's a
9:10 that's a long-term kind of disaster.

12:28 lean into this, you dumb dums." So what
12:30 they've done now is at the bottom here
12:33 they've got a banana next to the image
12:35 generation tool. So you know what it is.
12:37 So nano banana
12:40 is the code name for the image
12:42 generation model that's built into
12:44 Gemini 2.5 flash.

12:50 what happened last night on the live I
12:54 still can't explain.
12:56 So, I generated a prompt using JSON,
13:01 which is just basically structured
13:03 prompting. Everyone's talking about it
13:05 like it's the second coming of the Lord,
13:07 and it's just really structured
13:09 prompting. Um, but whatever. Um, and you
13:13 know, sometimes I like structured
13:15 prompts, sometimes I don't. Like,
13:16 sometimes I like mucking with it. I like
13:19 Nano Banana better than 2.5 Pro. Yes.
13:22 Yes. So, this is a weird thing. So, so,
13:27 okay, normally how this goes is you've
13:30 got your lead models, the most expensive
13:33 models
13:35 are the best models,
13:38 and then you've got things like the
13:40 flash version or the light version or
13:42 the mini version that are smaller
13:44 versions that are not quite as good,
13:46 right? What Google did here is weird. So
13:50 their 2.5 Pro model can do images. See
13:56 create images here. Now they have a
13:57 banana beside this one. So maybe they
13:59 changed this. Maybe this is also now
14:02 maybe pros using nano banana as well. I
14:04 don't know. I honestly don't know.
14:07 So anyway, I I guess if it's got a if
14:09 it's got a tool beside it, if it's got a
14:11 banana beside it, it's it's Nano Banana.
14:13 But it's the image generating tool. What
14:15 happened last night is I created this
14:17 JSON prompt and I said, "Make me an
14:19 image." And what Gemini did was it
14:21 somehow interpreted that into
14:24 me asking for it to create an
14:26 application that generates images.
14:30 I think it just kind of made that leap
14:32 on its own because I I said, "Here's the
14:35 prompt. Make an image out of that
14:37 prompt." And what it made was an
14:38 application to make an image out of that
14:40 prompt, which I then vibe coded to make
14:42 it a bit more um a bit more uh refined,
14:48 but but it created an application. Now,
14:51 Vicki had that happen to her once and
14:53 she said she hasn't been able to get it
14:55 to do it again. Um Pate who works at
14:59 Google said that's never happened to
15:01 him. So, I think that was just an
15:02 anomaly. But why why that happened is is
15:06 what you've got with Nano Banana is it's
15:08 a native image generation model within
15:11 this LL LLM. It's a multimodal LLM that
15:15 understands video, it understands
15:17 images, it understands audio and it
15:19 understands text and then it can do
15:21 things like code and do all sorts of
15:23 other things. Um so that's why it was
15:26 able to do that. So it's not that it's
15:28 it's not that it's separate
15:30 applications. It's that it is the the
15:32 the model itself is capable of coding
15:37 and for whatever reason maybe because I
15:39 gave it a structured prompt and however
15:40 I prompted the thing it interpreted that
15:42 as oh you want me to write you an
15:44 application for image generation I can
15:46 do that. That's what it did.

15:53 have you tried the story book too there
15:55 is in Gemini. Yeah, this the storybook
15:58 model is is really cool. So, if you go
16:01 to the left hand side um menu here,
16:04 there's this thing called gems. And

1:22:17 just this feels much deeper to me than

1:22:21 pictures of meattheads that are jealous
