you know what Tik Tock is 4:26 janky it's janky 4:29 people 4:30 [Music] 4:55 [Music] 4:59 to yo people what's happening good 5:03 people how is everybody Welcome to the 5:06 AI learning lab I spent most of my day 5:09 working on bugs for my software God I 5:13 hate 5:14 bugs they make me cranky cranky cranky 5:18 cranky I'm going to book you at a disco 5:20 Tech 5:22 yeah like I said I was in a band called 5:24 thin the herd once we were appropriately 5:28 named if if when you book me is when you 5:31 want the crowd to all right we get the 5:33 hint we'll go we'll leave 5:35 now although if you have Champ there 5:37 people would stay for 5:41 champ oh man AIT brothers that's a good 5:45 avit Brothers song that one Brooklyn 5:48 Brooklyn take me in are you aware the 5:52 shape I'm 5:55 in oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah 5:59 what's a dis go Tech don't complain I 6:02 have been booking bands all day book it 6:04 up man champ champ champ and 6:07 Kyle singing singing the depressing 6:11 Americana song 6:15 book come one come all if you're having 6:18 too good a day this is the show for 6:20 [Laughter] 6:25 you although you know listen you don't 6:28 have to always sing happy songs 6:30 like James Taylor's made a career out of 6:33 sad 6:36 songs oh man all right let's get started 6:41 here so here's here's what I'd like you 6:42 to do share the live share the live 6:45 here's what I'm asking you you you go 6:48 wherever you go I'm an old man I don't 6:50 know how to do it it's the Tik 6:52 Tock Martha tells me what to do she she 6:55 turns it on for me and she said just sit 6:57 there and talk just sit there and talk 7:00 and I'm like I think I'm on I don't know 7:02 she's like do you see your [ __ ] big 7:03 fat face and I'm like yeah I see my face 7:05 my face is right there and she's like 7:06 well then it's [ __ ] 7:09 on so anyway oh so anyway so what you 7:13 do figure out how to share this live and 7:16 then share it with people who you know 7:20 it'll make 7:24 cranky what do you mean who's that you 7:27 know the people that when you're like I 7:28 think AI is pretty cool they're like no 7:30 no just could you stop now could we not 7:33 talk about AI this dinner could we have 7:35 one day a week where we don't talk about 7:37 AI okay and then you start talking about 7:40 AI again send it to those 7:44 people but Kyle that's uncomfortable 7:46 that's 7:48 okay it'll be it'll be less comfortable 7:50 when they get laid off from their job 7:52 because they didn't pay attention to Ai 7:54 and they come knocking on your door hey 7:57 good Jim could you teach me how to use 8:04 AI Oh you mean the thing you told me not 8:06 to talk about anymore a year ago when I 8:08 stopped talking about it yeah that could 8:10 you teach me that 8:12 [Laughter] 8:17 now oh yeah so do that share the live 8:21 follow the channel do all the 8:24 stuff if you have questions or comments 8:26 about AI or you want to see me Demo 8:29 something I'm happy to do 8:32 that 8:34 um my bra because my brain got scam 8:36 scrambled fixing uh bugs today I there's 8:41 it's I'm essentially flatlined I'm not 8:43 starting with any sort of thoughts in my 8:46 head other than the dog sang good 8:52 tonight just watch a few Dave Dave 8:54 Shapiro videos while I was in The Green 8:56 Room very nice David Shapiro went off on 8:59 on open AI today did you guys see that I 9:01 got tagged I got tagged like four times 9:04 it was like Kyle David Shapiro's saying 9:07 bad things about open AI what are you 9:08 going to do I jumped right in I said 9:10 yeah they better get their [ __ ] together 9:12 so it's a normal life thank you thank 9:15 you very 9:16 much um let me go see let me go to 9:18 LinkedIn see what David Shapiro said 9:20 because I thought what he wrote was 9:21 actually 9:24 spoton I got to do this I'm going to 9:26 have to go away and do my 17 Factor 9:28 authentication hold please 9:33 all right here's here's something do you 9:36 guys have this this anxiety so um so in 9:41 the new in the new 17 Factor 9:43 authentication where it's like um go to 9:46 your phone and then you go to your phone 9:48 and it pops up a screen that it's like 9:50 yes let me in no that's not me I have a 9:53 similar anxiety with with that thing as 9:56 I do when someone's approaching the 9:58 elevator and I go to hit the the doors 10:00 open button and I can't decipher the the 10:03 icons on the buttons fast enough to know 10:05 which one's open and which one's closed 10:08 and if you hit the wrong one you're 10:09 going to close it in their face I have a 10:12 similar kind of anxiety when the thing 10:13 comes up about yes that's me no that's 10:15 not me what if I hit the wrong one I'll 10:17 be banned forever it's really funny it's 10:20 just [ __ ] modern technology man it's 10:23 just uh just 10:25 wacky just 10:27 wacky I someone's got to read design the 10:30 elevator open and closed door Arrow 10:33 things because if you can take 38 10:36 seconds to decipher them you can figure 10:39 out which one's which but when someone's 10:42 coming at you and you're like hold it 10:44 I'll get this for you and then you're 10:46 like oh [ __ ] what do I do like like they 10:48 just it's just all 10:50 [Laughter] 10:54 lines oh man all right so so we deal 11:00 with psychological issues in here like 11:02 do you get uh elevator button anxiety 11:05 it's we we do it all welcome to Chad add 11:09 this is Chad add let me go look up David 11:11 Shapiro's little little rant on open AI 11:15 here oops David 11:21 Shapiro it's funny it's funny I haven't 11:23 seen him post on 11:26 um LinkedIn 11:28 before 11:30 I guess I I guess I must not follow him 11:32 or something David 11:36 Shapiro AI thought leader here we go I 11:39 should connect with 11:41 him more 11:44 connect add a 11:47 note huge fan 11:55 and tell people to people people to 12:01 follow you all the time on tick tock.com 12:07 at AI learning 12:11 lab see if we can get old David Shapiro 12:14 to connect with us on 12:16 LinkedIn all right what did he say today 12:18 he 12:24 said here it is as much as I want to 12:27 give open AI the benefit of the out they 12:29 continuously disappoint in the most 12:31 boneheaded ways I went to check on my 12:34 gpts which I shared publicly they shared 12:37 both my full legal name as well as my 12:40 personal email address open AI what the 12:44 actual hell do you have any Consultants 12:47 with the slightest inkling of privacy 12:49 and safety I have been forced to delete 12:51 all of my gpts from their store for a 12:54 company constantly touting that they 12:55 want to align AGI with human values they 12:58 don't seem to understand the most basic 13:00 value of 13:02 privacy my response to it was the 13:06 transition from research lab to Consumer 13:08 software company has got to be a beast 13:10 but these basic security issues combined 13:12 with the incompleteness of the GPT store 13:14 is disappointing indeed open AI has to 13:17 get their crap together they're going to 13:19 destroy the massive Goodwill they've 13:20 built over the past year so yeah yeah 13:25 this listen this is what happens man 13:26 when you when you put yourself in the uh 13:29 in the public sphere 13:32 um it's you you you 13:36 get it's it's just like at the crafts 13:38 table you sort up or you're down you're 13:41 up or you're down and uh you got to keep 13:44 it going man cuz cuz people you can lose 13:47 trust really really fast if it's if this 13:50 stuff stays too janky for too long they 13:53 they'll lose customers and what it what 13:55 what it really 13:57 does is it um 14:00 it opens a door for Google and apple and 14:05 and anyone else that wants to come in 14:07 claw right anthropic anthropic is a 14:10 bunch of EX open AI people that didn't 14:15 like the way they were doing you know 14:17 safety and 14:18 Alignment that went off to do their own 14:22 thing if they had their marketing hats 14:24 on over at anthropic they would be 14:26 trolling open AI right now but suppose 14:29 they want to be on good graces with them 14:31 but they should go if you want a company 14:34 that actually cares about safety and 14:35 privacy come to 14:37 us so wild so what do you 14:41 recommend to people who have set up 14:43 public gpts 14:46 um I don't know I 14:48 mean I don't I don't know the details of 14:53 they shared both my full legal name as 14:55 well as as my personal email address I 14:58 don't know what that actually means like 15:00 did he jailbreak it and they shared it 15:03 did they share it through like some 15:04 hyperlink that you could just hyperlink 15:06 to it so I don't know I don't know 15:07 enough about the details um I have 15:10 always said if you're going to put a GPT 15:11 out there you should assume that 15:13 anything that you put in it is um is 15:16 fair game right is is that can be gotten 15:19 to very very easily you shouldn't put 15:21 private information you shouldn't put 15:23 proprietary information you should be 15:25 put stuff stuff out there that you'd be 15:28 cool with if if it were available 15:30 publicly that's that's been my 15:32 contention contention from the beginning 15:34 what he's talking about about them 15:36 sharing full legal name and personal 15:38 email address that's like a security 15:40 [ __ ] that's a different thing so I 15:43 guess he went and he you know and he 15:44 unshared all of his things I would say 15:48 he he has enough of a following that 15:50 they will probably plug that hole pretty 15:52 quick so if you're not comfortable go 15:55 turn off your gpts and then turn them on 15:57 when they say something about it when 15:59 someone sends feedback it gives 16:02 you their 16:04 email oh that's interesting yeah like 16:08 like like I said man 16:12 this we are 16:15 witnessing we're 16:17 witnessing the the struggles of 16:22 transitioning from a from a research lab 16:25 to a consumer company um and it's p 16:29 painful it's painful to watch it's 16:31 painful on the product side and it's 16:33 painful on the safety side so and I 16:35 think he's got a good point like for a 16:37 company that's touting trust us with the 16:39 future of humanity um maybe they could 16:42 get a little tighter on the security 16:44 with emails and such search in GPT store 16:47 is whack 2 they've tweaked it again now 16:50 and you can barely find barely find what 16:52 you're looking for Suzanne like it was 16:55 horrible before they tweaked it and made 16:57 it worse oh good 17:00 lord like if you searched for something 17:03 that you had a partial word like if you 17:07 searched with the thing with the space 17:09 in it but the GPT was written without 17:11 the space in it you couldn't find it it 17:14 was it's it's pretty bad it's pretty bad 17:18 so births are messy things Miracles but 17:21 messy yeah exactly this is this is one 17:25 of those I 17:27 what what's funny it's funny having 17:30 dealt with we we had four unrelated I 17:35 think unrelated four unrelated bugs 17:38 surfaced at the same time some of them 17:40 had to do with something the client did 17:42 some of them had something to do with 17:43 what we did some of them had to do with 17:45 just weirdness in how we're mxing 17:48 together our older systems and our 17:50 modern 17:52 systems and and it's it's a complicated 17:56 mess but it's solvable but like 18:02 what this what this says to me is that 18:05 they've 18:06 deprioritized the 18:09 consumer application part of the 18:11 business and they've 18:13 prioritized the 18:17 research I think or they just have you 18:21 know not the right 18:23 people running this consumer 18:25 [ __ ] but if they've put their best Minds 18:28 on super alignment 18:30 and GPT 5 and 18:34 qar because they stumbled onto AGI and 18:37 they've taken the best and brightest 18:39 minds and they've dumped them on that 18:40 and they said oh you you you you know 18:43 open AI equivalent of B players you go 18:46 deal with the the uh chat GPT stuff it's 18:50 possible that that's going 18:52 on but that seems a bit shortsighted to 18:56 me like it seems to me they need to get 18:57 in they need to be poaching someone from 18:59 Apple or some some serious you 19:04 know serious company that that's got 19:06 their [ __ ] together with privacy and 19:08 with user experience cuz it's a mess 19:11 when are they going to start to revenue 19:12 share on chat GPT I don't [ __ ] 19:16 know we assumed when they launched a 19:20 thing called the GPT store one of the 19:23 implications if you if you look up the 19:26 definition of the word store on say a 19:30 powerful tool like a oh I don't know 19:32 chat GPT I think it would imply that 19:35 it's a place of Commerce where value is 19:38 exchanged and and you provide something 19:40 like a swell GPT in exchange for 19:42 something like oh say 19:44 dollars or 19:47 Yen 19:49 daos there's not a [ __ ] mention of 19:53 rev sharing on the GPT store they should 19:55 have called it the GPT s s of directory 20:00 [Laughter] 20:04 page chat gpts in beta Microsoft 20:07 co-pilot is the product well not 20:11 really no I don't think that's 20:14 right no I I don't buy that I mean eh 20:23 maybe I mean Microsoft does seem to be 20:26 pulling stuff in two months after they 20:29 launch it at at open 20:32 AI I don't know I don't 20:34 know I don't know it would be a real 20:36 shame for them to throw um throw the 20:40 brand out the window the the chat GPT 20:42 brand because it's a good brand every 20:44 like it's got It's got the chance of 20:46 being like Xerox or 20:48 Kleenex GPT right a GPT is synonymous 20:52 for a large language model like 20:54 experience um so I don't know we'll 20:58 figure figured 20:59 outa Kyle I'm doing very well Edson 21:03 thank you very much thank you for asking 21:05 I'm I'm uh I I mentioned earlier I I've 21:08 been bug bug smashing all day and and 21:11 they were really obscure 21:13 and uh 21:16 overlapping and it reminded me that I 21:18 don't like some of our technology very 21:20 much and so anyway so I'm a little I'm a 21:23 little cranky I'm a little 21:26 cranky yeah 21:29 and then you know just chat GPT needs to 21:31 get their [ __ ] together like I thought I 21:34 thought at this point we would have had 21:36 at least one major big announcement from 21:41 someone that we'd be talking about some 21:43 new 21:44 thing and I thought it was going to be 21:46 the GPT store and then I was 21:51 like and then we haven't heard anything 21:53 there haven't been any Rumblings from 21:55 Google we heard the one thing from meta 21:58 where Mark Zuckerberg said we're doing 22:00 AGI 22:01 too and we're gonna we're gonna Point 22:05 $22 billion worth of hardware at GP at 22:10 llama 3 and then we're going to open 22:11 source it so that was exciting but you 22:14 we can't go play with it right I want to 22:15 go play with 22:17 [ __ ] my dad used to ask me to Google 22:20 things for him now he asked me to chat 22:21 GPT them exactly Lori I mean it's it's 22:23 like like open AI really has 22:27 established 22:29 you know themselves as a a king of the 22:31 hill position and they're they're 22:33 they're just they're just pissing it 22:35 away with with shitty launches like 22:38 seriously it would have been it would 22:41 have been better for them not to launch 22:42 the the GPT store in the state it's in 22:45 in my opinion hold out for another 3 22:48 weeks get it right get it get it at 22:50 least not horrible if you said there's 22:52 going to be rev sharing in it at least 22:54 have a popup somewhere that says rev 22:57 sharing will become 22:58 make sure to get your gpts up and 23:02 running and hope you're good with us 23:04 giving out your full full legal name and 23:06 email 23:16 address oh good 23:20 lord Sam call 23:23 me all right let's get going here let's 23:27 get this show started shall we people 23:29 let get it going let get it going mhm 23:33 MH so here's some good news here's some 23:36 exciting news so I I'll do this let's do 23:38 it this way I'm going to do that and 23:41 then I'm going to go here so go here go 23:45 to the salon the salon. 23:49 a type that in your 23:52 browser and 23:55 then that's going to take you to 24:00 oh wait I got to go to hang 24:03 on 24:07 AI that's going to take you to this link 24:09 tree and I just added a the fourth tab 24:14 here is the AI learning Lab live so I do 24:18 I take the recordings of these lives and 24:21 I put them on a YouTube channel so I 24:23 just I just put that link there 24:26 um I'm caught up through 24:30 yesterday um I uploaded a bunch of them 24:33 and then the ones from Saturday Sunday 24:35 and Monday which like Saturday and 24:37 Sunday I was on some sort of soapbox 24:39 kick where I was just sort of off my 24:42 rails or off the rails off my rocker um 24:47 and then Monday was kind of a deep dive 24:48 into something I think chat GPT so all 24:51 three of those days were kind of they 24:53 they were at least interesting in that 24:54 they were they were different than than 24:56 other days so that that was last 24:58 Saturday Sunday and Monday and I I 25:01 labeled them as 25:02 separate um but anyway you can go you 25:04 can go watch back episodes on that so 25:06 just bookmark that and then and then 25:09 head over to the AI Salon 25:12 community and that'll take you to our 25:17 Mighty networks community and it's you 25:21 know Mighty networks is just a community 25:23 hosting platform it's kind of like a 25:25 cross between Discord and Facebook is 25:28 something like that um but but there's 25:30 all sorts of cool stuff in here so go to 25:33 welcome to the salon section and check 25:34 out what we're all about basically we're 25:37 just a group of AI adventurers trying to 25:39 figure this [ __ ] out together and so if 25:42 that's something you're interested in go 25:44 check it out it doesn't cost anything 25:45 this is free for everyone um and please 25:48 check out our values all right I liked 25:50 your soapbox kick it helped motivate and 25:52 inspire me to get started oh that's 25:54 awesome Rachel Sparkles I yeah I 25:56 remember you being in there and and 25:57 particip so first of all thank you for 26:00 participating and yeah 26:03 I I that's that's really exciting for me 26:06 to hear I built my first GPT last night 26:10 EMP powered pixels so okay so so here's 26:14 an inspiration for you so last night 26:16 Empower pixel said okay tomorrow 26:19 tomorrow you've inspired me tomorrow I'm 26:21 going to build a GPT and I said no I 26:24 said build it now and so I guess he 26:26 built it now or she built it now I don't 26:28 he or she but that's awesome awesome 26:30 awesome congratulations that's really 26:32 exciting um all right in the AI Salon go 26:35 check out our values curiosity 26:37 generosity exploration collaboration 26:41 inclusion and empathy and just read what 26:43 we're all about and if you dig that you 26:45 should come join us 26:47 um let's see and then go to the 26:50 community section please introduce 26:52 yourself and then if you want some fun 26:55 after you've done that go to the show 26:56 and tell section 26:58 and what what the show and tell hap 27:01 becomes during these lives is kind of a 27:03 jam session where people that come here 27:05 a 27:05 lot just make silly images and if I if I 27:09 say something stupid they oh there's a 27:11 lot of uh Valentine stuff in there but 27:13 if I say oh that one's cute Mary the AI 27:16 learning lab elevator that's very very 27:19 cute I sent my non- Tik Tock friend the 27:21 link to your most recent youTube post 27:23 yesterday oh that's awesome thank you 27:25 Special K that's good that's good I I 27:29 don't know if I'm I don't know what kind 27:31 of gift I am sending to sending to 27:33 people but that's awesome that's awesome 27:38 amazing my god do I hate bugs that's 27:41 pretty much what I felt like 27:44 today so anyway so this is the uh this 27:47 is the show and tell Channel and then 27:48 the other thing that I'll show you and 27:52 and we'll use this as kind of a 27:54 navigation tool tonight is the list of 27:56 AI uh uh AI salon tool recommendation so 28:01 this is a list that I curate personally 28:04 and it starts out with chat GPT still 28:06 the best um even though we're sort of 28:08 ragging on them for their their security 28:10 and privacy um just in terms of the way 28:14 these large language models work and 28:17 what they do chat GPT is still far and 28:20 above anyone else um and then there's 28:23 lots of other things to do here other 28:25 large language models image tools um 28:28 video creation tools music generation 28:31 tools 3D tools and then people to follow 28:34 in including David Shapiro who we just 28:37 read his his you know [ __ ] slap of uh 28:41 of open Ai and then Ethan mullik did an 28:45 interesting something today what did he 28:47 do 28:51 today I forget it was another it was 28:53 another 28:55 interesting post from Ethan mullik so 28:58 and then Paul rer had an interesting one 29:00 today there's there's there's some stuff 29:02 going on 29:04 where if if if three of the four people 29:08 that I follow are are getting a little 29:10 bristly a little getting their elbows 29:13 out a little as as they say in the F1 29:15 game um something's going on there there 29:18 is some sort 29:20 of flux in the time space 29:23 continuum um where that which probably 29:25 means something's about to happen 29:28 I also one of the things that 29:33 um one of the things that we talked 29:36 about yesterday toward the end of the 29:38 live 29:41 um if you've been using chat GPT in the 29:44 past two 29:46 days it is weirdly bad like it breaks a 29:50 lot images aren't 29:53 rendering um it gives like when you do 29:57 things where you kind kind of know how 29:58 it answers that it's not answering them 30:00 like that and then if you coax it it 30:03 sort of 30:05 will so generally when I see that kind 30:08 of behavior from chat GPT it means that 30:11 they're taking a bunch of their servers 30:13 offline updating them and then slowly 30:17 putting them back online so so one of 30:21 two things is happening that's what's 30:23 happening and and what's today today's 30:26 Thursday so it probably won't have 30:27 tomorrow maybe by mid next week we get 30:31 some sort of major update from open AI 30:33 that's a 30:35 possibility or they're just doing [ __ ] 30:38 that's breaking 30:39 things I've been telling everyone you're 30:42 the number one AI rockar they should 30:44 check out oh Special K thank you so much 30:46 thank you thank you thank you uh 30:49 Rockstar 30:51 well but I appreciate it 30:55 um yeah so something's up something 30:57 something's up with with open AI 31:00 now there's I've seen a bunch of 31:03 screenshots recently where some of the 31:04 people have like a little thing with 31:06 three bullet points on it that from open 31:10 AI that says you know your chat GPT now 31:12 has memory where where it can 31:14 remember um chats across 31:17 sessions um it's possible that's what's 31:21 coming uh but I don't know that's total 31:23 speculation they need to figure out 31:25 their AB testing if that's the case oh P 31:27 they need to figure out so much I don't 31:29 know I don't know how long you've been 31:31 here but if you heard me I was uh I read 31:34 what what David Shapiro said about open 31:36 AI today and uh and I agreed with him 31:40 have you heard of rabbit tech device in 31:42 fact I bought one of the first 10,000 31:44 and I got free perplexity for a year 31:46 yeah the rabbit the rabbit R1 device 31:49 there's there's there's two significant 31:52 rabbit Platforms in the world one of 31:55 them we can't talk about on this channel 31:57 the other one is an AI 32:00 device it cut me off after 30 minutes of 32:03 use I was in the middle of a 32:04 presentation to a client oh that's 32:06 always special yeah that's 32:10 that's you know oh oh oh oh you know 32:14 what else could be going on Source 32:18 Camp what else could be going on here is 32:22 I I what I what I haven't been thinking 32:25 about 32:26 is the they launched chat GPT 32:31 team and chat GPT 32:34 team they're charging 10 bucks more a 32:37 month you get you get rate limited less 32:41 and you get faster instances and you get 32:43 32,000 32:45 tokens if a significant amount of people 32:48 upgraded to 32:49 teams um what they might have done is 32:52 actually de like reduce the capacity of 32:57 Chachi PT Plus capabilities and and 33:01 while they increased it for chat GPT 33:03 team that's another possibility yeah 33:06 that's really [ __ ] frustrating I was 33:07 at a real life AI meeting yesterday we 33:11 all run around and spoke about AI tools 33:14 we 33:15 use how we use it how we like to do it 33:18 left the whole 33:21 oops left with a whole list to try oh 33:24 that's awesome Suzanne that's really 33:26 good so um maybe you can put that I mean 33:30 obviously share it share it somewhere in 33:32 the in the salon but maybe you can pop 33:35 it in the Irregulars Channel or 33:37 something like that or just just tag me 33:38 in it when you post it because i' I'd 33:40 like to see that because it would be 33:42 nice to update it would be nice to 33:44 update my list would be great to do this 33:47 locally with AI Salon meetups that's a 33:49 really good idea so we're going to be 33:51 we're 33:52 launching we're calling the the the the 33:56 the salon 33:58 uh meetups that that are going to happen 34:00 in person we're calling them 34:03 the AI after hours um city so AI after 34:08 hours Denver AI after hours 34:11 La um hosted by the AI salon and so 34:15 we're going to we're going to roll out 34:17 Denver this coming Tuesday and then 34:20 we're going to roll out all other cities 34:22 either the follow two weeks after that 34:24 or two weeks after that so those are 34:26 coming so yay that's exciting um yeah 34:29 that would be really good to do in those 34:31 local local 34:32 events awesome awesome awesome 34:35 awesome I'm not in the irregular 34:37 channels why I pull the list together 34:39 this weekend it's now 34:42 um I can so just just go go down toward 34:46 the bottom there's an area called clubs 34:49 look click on the word clubs and it'll 34:50 show you a list and just ask for Access 34:53 and I'll give you access to 34:55 it there's no reason you should not be 34:57 in the Irregulars unless you don't like 34:59 us if if you're like if you're like H 35:02 those those Irregulars I'll be anywhere 35:04 but with them well then then you don't 35:06 need to ask to to be in in that channel 35:09 um so when do you think chat GPT 5 will 35:11 be announced I don't know 35:15 um if I were a betting 35:22 man when did they launch CET GPT 4 it 35:25 was March right 35:28 they launched 35:31 3.5 on in 35:34 November and then it was 5 months and 35:37 people were kind of 35:40 speculating that GPT 4 was kind of 35:42 eminent in January and then it was two 35:45 months 35:46 later and I don't hear any of that kind 35:48 of buzz right now for GPT 5 I think 35:50 they're working on 35:53 it I think they're going to not call it 35:56 GPT 5 if I if I read between the tea 35:58 leaves about what Sam Alman said at 36:01 Davos he he twice mentioned or whatever 36:05 we call 36:07 it and he said I don't want to I don't 36:09 want there to be a chat GPT 36:14 22 so so they're probably going to come 36:17 up with some name for it I I'm 36:22 guessing either early summer or early 36:25 fall please check the mod Channel 36:31 [Music] 36:33 uh all right how do 36:40 [Music] 36:46 I how do I fix 36:50 that 36:56 P 37:01 I don't I don't know how to I well P 37:03 just posted before so I think he's not 37:05 muted are you muted 37:08 pate if you're muted say 37:14 something it sounds like you might have 37:16 been accidentally muted M muted M yes 37:20 muted he's muted okay how do I unmute 37:23 him I got to find him right hang on I 37:26 saw he posted something 37:28 earlier I guess he got fat finger 37:36 muted hold please we're having technical 37:39 difficulties it's been the story of my 37:41 day you know what I hear I hear it's a 37:43 full moon and when they have a full moon 37:45 all sorts of things happen people go 37:56 crazy 37:58 it's in settings okay thank you let me 38:02 go to settings 38:05 settings mod uh muted accounts no muted 38:11 accounts moderators I don't is he a 38:17 moderator it say he's not 38:26 muted 38:31 I do not know what to tell you people 38:33 he's free okay he's free his FR pet is 38:36 back pet is back oh hey Mark hi oh hi uh 38:41 Hey pet 38:43 welcome welcome back to the world of the 38:46 commenting and the 38:49 pinnable blink blink want if you need 38:56 help 38:57 oh lordy lordy lordy lordy oh we were 39:01 talking about the rabbit R1 so if I go 39:11 to Rabbit rabbit. 39:15 te if you don't know what the other 39:18 rabbit is this is the other 39:20 rabbit what's he talking 39:25 about 39:27 silver Pate Silver Fox called your 39:30 you're you're muting a publicity 39:37 stunt that's pretty 39:40 funny moderator settings all right got 39:45 it 39:47 um did any so this 39:50 thing is uh an interesting handheld 39:55 device that is designed by teenage 39:59 engineering which if you don't know 40:01 teenage engineering then you're not a 40:03 genz millennial music synth 40:07 person CU they make all sorts of cool 40:10 synthesizers the connection to teenage 40:13 engineering is interesting the founder 40:14 of rabbit 40:17 um has designed a um a music controller 40:22 or some kind of controller computer or 40:24 music controller um that teenage 40:26 engineer ing built so um so he's got 40:29 this is I assume at least his second 40:31 device with 40:32 them um it's got a camera it's got a 40:35 cool scroll wheel it's got a USB slot 40:38 it's got a button and the button the 40:41 button is a thing that kind of intrigues 40:43 me the most that it's like it's like a 40:46 walkie-talkie button right so this could 40:48 be my my Nostalgia for for the 70s um 40:52 but the idea of you push your 40:54 walkie-talkie button and then you talk 40:56 to your AI just seems really [ __ ] 40:58 cool to 40:59 me 41:07 uh so anyway that's the that's the 41:09 rabbit R1 um it was 200 bucks which you 41:13 know for a piece of new tech like this 41:15 normally these are in the 7 or $800 41:17 range like the the the pin by Humane 41:21 that it got buzzed for like half a day 41:24 and then everyone's like nah I don't 41:26 care about that that was $700 plus you 41:29 needed a phone plan this is 200 bucks 41:34 you don't need a 41:35 subscription it's got a screen it's got 41:38 that bitching cool design and then like 41:41 even if it sucks it's like something 41:43 cool to stick on your on your shelf you 41:46 know it's got a cool scroll scroll wheel 41:49 has never been said 41:52 before well it hasn't been said in a 41:55 while because everyone's taken any any 41:57 physical buttons off their devices 41:59 everything's a slick piece of glass 42:01 there's something there's something nice 42:03 about this also the way the camera so 42:05 the camera most of the time so it's on 42:07 this cylinder that'll rotate to either 42:10 selfie mode or or point away mode when 42:13 it's not active it turns down so that it 42:15 can't it can't be activated um which I 42:18 think is really smart and it's just it's 42:20 a good visceral analog thing you see the 42:23 camera is either you know if the dot is 42:26 facing in to you the camera's on if it's 42:28 you know facing away uh You' see it on 42:31 your screen and if it's facing down you 42:33 know it's 42:37 black mod 42:41 settings go to 42:43 share oh share see I don't even have a 42:46 share 42:49 icon and I also when I go to share I 42:52 don't have all those options that you 42:54 showed anyway it doesn't matter Fisher 42:56 Price my first AI device this is to so 42:59 pay absolutely this is totally Fisher 43:02 Price my first AI device um here's why I 43:06 think it's a big 43:07 deal 43:12 um whether or not it succeeds or not it 43:15 is the first in my opinion it is the 43:17 first 43:18 device well I don't even know if this is 43:20 in my 43:21 opinion it's the first device that I've 43:23 seen in a long long time that isn't just 43:26 a copy of the iPhone in fact it spits in 43:29 the eye of the iPhone and says this 43:31 whole this whole idea that we have to 43:33 have this big device with all these apps 43:36 on it is stupid because there's too many 43:39 apps now and you get confused and you 43:41 just want to do stuff you don't want to 43:42 have to jump from this app to that app 43:44 to that app you should be able to just 43:45 push your button and go go do [ __ ] for 43:48 me and so not only did they build this 43:51 device where you can do that they also 43:53 built this thing called the lamb the 43:55 large action model model where they're 43:58 claiming and again they're claiming it 44:00 in marketing that it can be trained on 44:03 any piece of software and they've 44:05 already said well it's better at certain 44:06 software than other but the idea is you 44:09 can train it to use software like the 44:11 one of the examples they give in the 44:13 keynote is he goes he he turns on the 44:17 recording software he goes to Discord he 44:20 goes to Mid Journey he makes a mid 44:22 Journey image and then he turns that 44:23 into an action that he can call by 44:25 pushing his button so can say make me a 44:27 mid-journey image of whatever and it 44:29 will know how to go use that 44:33 software why didn't Apple come out with 44:36 that why isn't apple is normally the one 44:38 that breaks their own ecosystem right 44:41 Apple's the one that removed floppy 44:43 drives from computers Apple's the one 44:45 that removed DVDs from computers Apple's 44:47 the ones they they usually remove [ __ ] 44:50 first and everyone's like don't take 44:52 away my whatever it 44:55 is 44:57 and 44:58 then you know two years later you're 45:01 like yeah I I never used my DVD player 45:04 anyway and I don't miss it like they 45:06 always seem to know when to do that they 45:07 missed it on this one which I think is 45:10 fascinating and what do you do with it 45:12 so I don't know we we'll see a 45:14 possibility of what I do with the rabbit 45:16 R1 is I get it I take it out of the box 45:19 and I 45:19 go um explain quantum mechanics to me in 45:23 an M&M rap and it will do it and I'll go 45:25 cool and then I stick it on my shelf and 45:28 never use it again that's a 45:31 [Laughter] 45:33 possibility there's there's another 45:35 possibility 45:37 that like what I don't know what I don't 45:40 know 45:41 is is the form factor convenient enough 45:45 that it's actually more convenient than 45:47 my 45:49 phone and I don't 45:52 know is there is there large action 45:55 model is the fact that I can I can say 45:58 um you know order me an Uber or you know 46:02 book me a restaurant and just talk into 46:04 it and it it goes and finds the app and 46:06 it goes and does all that 46:09 [ __ ] Apple subtracts doesn't add yeah 46:12 exactly simple's hard and and the 46:15 problem with with with the Apple app 46:18 infrastructure is is the App Store in a 46:21 lot of ways and the app infrastructure 46:23 on an Apple device and on Android 46:25 devices on all the 46:27 devices it's very non-apple it's very 46:30 like Byzantine and you've just got all 46:32 these apps and unless you're D diligent 46:35 about managing apps you've got hundreds 46:37 of 46:38 them apple is seen as premium consumer 46:41 goods they have accessories that cost 46:42 200 bucks easy and you're just talking 46:44 about their USBC cables exactly P yeah a 46:48 two I yeah I can't Apple would would not 46:51 have released uh the uh the rabbit R1 46:54 for 200 bucks here's what I can tell you 46:56 though 46:57 um the CEO has been putting out Tik toks 47:00 so so you can go follow him if you go to 47:02 Tik Tok and search for the rabbit R1 um 47:05 the CEO has been doing demo videos where 47:08 he I guess he's got his phone and he's 47:11 taking he's taking video of his rabbit 47:13 R1 with his 47:15 phone um when he pushes the button it 47:18 sounds like cheap plastic it's like 47:20 clack clack clack clack it sounds like 47:22 Fisher 47:24 Price so it definitely does not have 47:27 it's it's got Apple kinds of Aesthetics 47:29 but it does not have apple kinds of 47:30 build quality I can tell you that just 47:32 from just from listening to him use it 47:35 um but I find it fascinating man 47:38 I if if if you've never been to CES CES 47:43 is [ __ ] massive like it's many many 47:47 football fields it's building after 47:49 building after building of the biggest 47:51 consumer electronics companies in the 47:53 world showing their latest [ __ ] and 47:55 everyone was talking about AI you know 47:58 Sony and Samsung just all of them LG the 48:01 see-through TVs all that [ __ ] and the 48:04 rabbit R1 was like the clear runaway hit 48:08 of the 48:11 show for a reason like it it captured 48:15 the imagination it was something 48:17 different like the see-through TVs were 48:20 cool but we saw see-through TVs at at 48:23 CES 5 years ago they were just bigger 48:25 and Fier so this one is actually 48:28 seethrough and it's a standalone piece 48:29 of glass 48:31 and okay like we kind of saw that right 48:34 and then a lot of the AI announcements 48:36 were like we're going to be doing cool 48:39 Ai and you know and the rabbit R R1 was 48:43 just one of those things that was like 48:44 that's different and you know he did a 48:47 little keynote video and it was a hit so 48:50 so we'll see we'll see does that become 48:53 a new kind of device it might like I I 48:55 could see see there being a form factor 48:57 like that where you've got a 48:59 screen especially if you've got you've 49:01 got like a little screen on a handheld 49:03 device that's just easy to easy to 49:06 activate will have glasses within four 49:10 years 5 years that are that'll look just 49:12 like normal glasses that we'll be able 49:14 to see [ __ ] in so we'll have our spatial 49:16 Computing interface here we'll have some 49:18 sort of you know device here that we can 49:22 play with and then we'll have whatever 49:24 computers become right and those might 49:26 be in the spatial things or they might 49:28 just be hard remain Hardware 49:31 devices first time I saw it it reminded 49:33 me of my viewfinder yeah ites it's it's 49:35 like a a viewfinder it's like a 49:37 walkie-talkie it's like Fisher Price 49:38 toys it's totally like that it's they I 49:42 think they nailed the Nostalgia looking 49:45 feel of that thing like it feels it 49:47 feels like something I played with as a 49:50 kid and wanted as a 49:52 kid and you know maybe they're going 49:54 going for that they got they got my they 49:56 got my 200 bucks they got it quick I saw 50:01 I saw Robert scoble said I ordered one 50:04 and then I didn't know what it was and I 50:05 clicked on it and I saw it and then I 50:09 watched I watched 3 minutes of the 50:11 beginning of the keynote I skipped ahead 50:13 to the Middle where he was demoing it 50:15 and he was like two Demos in and I'm 50:17 like 50:19 order cuz it's like yeah this pretty 50:21 good then I watch the rest of the 50:23 keynote U but can't it be an app it can 50:26 be an app Bubbles and and in fact a lot 50:28 of what they're doing are just 50:31 macros right now they're calling them 50:34 the large action model and it's 50:36 absolutely I'm assuming that they're not 50:38 lying that they actually 50:40 built a Transformer based model that 50:43 knows how to how to do 50:47 actions um but but it's basically 50:51 macros but it's also it's it's not just 50:54 macros that's not fair to them when you 50:56 push the button pushing the button is 50:59 the equivalent of saying hey Alexa or 51:02 you know the apple one uh where you 51:04 where you're activating it so instead of 51:06 activating it by saying its name you 51:08 just push the button and that activates 51:10 it says now you're prompting the large 51:11 language model so you just push the 51:13 button here let me let let me show you 51:16 what it's like because it's it's it's 51:17 easier to show it than describe 51:20 it watch the 51:24 Keynote 51:31 finding collaboration with teenage 51:33 engineering the R1 is a fully Standalone 51:36 device primarily driven by natural 51:39 language the accumulation of countless 51:42 hours of work from our research design 51:45 and software teams it is simple to use 51:50 R1 is equipped with everything you need 51:52 to interact with you and perceive your 51:55 surround roundings it comes with a 51:57 touchcreen a push to talk button and an 52:01 analog scroll wheel scroll wheel 52:03 microphone and 52:05 speakers and a computer vision enabled 52:08 360 degree rotational camera we call the 52:11 Rabbid eye it is Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 52:14 capable and it has the same car slots 52:17 that's bubbles it's another thing I have 52:19 to put an air tag on said like a true 52:21 neuros spicy ADHD 52:24 clubber supports Global 4G LTE 52:28 network is a spe with a push to talk 52:31 button you don't need to say anything to 52:33 wake it up just press and hold the 52:36 button and talk like a walkie talkie now 52:40 let's give it a shot what's the nature 52:42 of the 52:43 reality the nature of reality is a topic 52:46 that has captivated the minds of 52:47 philosophers and thinkers throughout 52:49 history he claim he claims that the 52:51 latency the the the pause between when 52:54 you talk and when it responds is is four 52:56 times faster than the current like like 52:59 pi and chat 53:00 GPT um my suspicion is that it's not as 53:05 fast as what you just saw but if it's 53:07 four times faster than those things that 53:09 would make it not annoying because I 53:11 find I find pi and chat GPT um voice 53:15 right now I I love interacting with them 53:17 but that that latency of like 3/4 of a 53:20 second is really annoying so if they can 53:23 get that down to even you know 53:26 slightly slower than what they just 53:27 showed there that that would be 53:30 impressive according to Bertrand Russell 53:33 reality is composed of hard data derived 53:35 from sensory experiences and logical 53:37 analysis it is the amalgamation of our 53:40 perceptions thoughts and the external 53:42 world I can speak or type with R1 if you 53:46 shake R1 a keyboard will pop up you will 53:50 also know that the response speed is 53:53 much faster than using some of the 53:55 assistant we BR such as 53:58 CH what's the stock price of 54:01 Coca-Cola searching for the stock price 54:03 of 54:04 Coca-Cola now again what I don't know 54:07 here is how how's it connected to the 54:11 service is it WiFi is 54:14 it I guess it wouldn't be Bluetooth it 54:17 it might be um cell service um but if 54:22 it's that fast that's pretty impressive 54:24 I just doubt it is the stock price of 54:26 Coca-Cola KO is 54:29 $59.7 who played the role Oppenheimer in 54:32 Christoper Nolan's latest movies in 54:35 Christopher Nolan's most recent film 54:37 Oppenheimer the role of Jay Robert 54:39 Oppenheimer is played by Killian 54:41 Murphy the film is a biographical 54:43 Thriller that explores the story of 54:45 American scientist J Robert Oppenheimer 54:50 I just choose your create fake users or 54:55 and which 54:56 action model works with the film is a 54:59 biographical Thriller that explores the 55:01 story of American scientist J Robert 55:03 Oppenheimer and his involvement in the 55:05 development of the atomic 55:06 [Music] 55:08 bomb now let's see how the large action 55:11 model works with lamb rabbit R1 can 55:14 interact with all kinds of applications 55:17 introducing the rabbit hole wib order I 55:20 can log into different Services the 55:23 rabbit hole they they're taking this 55:25 metaphor we're a little too far but go 55:26 on and unlock functionalities 4 R1 it's 55:30 just like iCloud let's say I want to 55:32 listen to some 55:38 music with a rabbit ho wib portal I have 55:42 complete control over which Services I 55:44 want to activate on my R1 and which 55:47 provider I prefer for music I use 55:50 Spotify so let's go ahead and connect my 55:52 Spotify to the rabbit 55:54 hole 55:56 wait let me go back a little bit 55:59 here 56:00 um if if you're if if you've ever been 56:03 in software development and you see a 56:05 screen like this where there's literally 56:07 just nothing and a bunch of buttons this 56:09 is this is very Alpha feeling kind of 56:12 software right they've they've built hey 56:15 Siri go 56:17 away 56:18 [Music] 56:24 okay 56:26 oh she did not want to go away she 56:29 resisted um so so they they built the 56:31 services first and then it looks like 56:33 they quickly threw an interface on top 56:35 of it so I'm I'm assuming by the time 56:36 this launches it'll be a little more 56:38 sophisticated than 56:41 that that this is spot so he's logging 56:43 into Spotify right so you have to log 56:45 into your 56:46 systems is this legit to order uh 56:49 absolutely I ordered one um and in fact 56:52 if you're one of the first 100,000 to 56:54 order one you get a year of per 56:56 perplexity Pro for free which is 200 56:59 bucks so so you either get perplexity uh 57:02 Pro for free or you get the rabbit R1 57:05 for fre log page before I start the 57:07 login process I want to emphasize our 57:10 commitment to privacy the way we design 57:12 the infrastructure for apps that we 57:14 interact with we don't create fake users 57:17 or spam users we don't hack their 57:21 infrastructures and of course we do not 57:23 store any of your Serv thir party 57:26 credentials trust us we're not storing 57:29 any of your third party credentials are 57:31 they actually we don't know we assume 57:33 not it would be dumb of them to do it 57:35 but right right now we're in a trust us 57:38 phase right instead we redirect you to 57:42 their login page we never save your 57:45 username and password and we don't track 57:48 your data the authentication happens on 57:52 the respective 57:54 apps non logging with 57:58 Spotify he's actually logging in with 58:00 Google single sign on for Spotify 58:03 recognize that Spotify has been 58:05 authenticated on my device before this 58:08 presentation I 58:10 pre-authenticated some other apps like 58:13 is this smarter than the Samsung s24 I 58:16 don't have the s24 I looked at some of 58:18 the features on the s24 like the 58:20 translation stuff these guys claim to 58:22 have bidirectional translation I think 58:24 everyone's going to have that 58:26 um the one thing that the Samsung s24 58:29 had that I think is is actually a unique 58:32 thing is the circle to search feature 58:34 that they added where you can tap and 58:36 hold on the screen and circle an item 58:38 and then it'll go do a lens Google Lens 58:41 search on it um so I don't know if it's 58:44 more advanced it's different I mean 58:46 here's the deal what what this device 58:49 does not have is an app store but what 58:52 you do is you you go to your your laptop 58:56 and you configure all the devices you 58:58 have on your phone and then this thing 59:01 interacts with them it either interacts 59:03 with your computer or it interacts with 59:04 your phone that's a wild way to try and 59:06 convince you about their convince me 59:09 about their privacy 59:12 practices what the trust me one yeah 59:14 well it's this like again Pate this is 59:17 this is a marketing video so I'm 59:19 assuming that at least 50% of this is 59:23 [ __ ] my pred prediction for the 59:25 rabbit R1 is that it's going to be about 59:27 a 59:28 C+ my ex my My Hope Is that it's a B 59:32 minus and I would be surprised if it was 59:35 an a I'm I'm I'm assuming C+ at 59:40 best Uber and door 59:44 Dash so now that it's set up though 59:47 watch this because this is new just ch 59:49 your preferred services and logging 59:50 through them to get authenticated on 59:52 your device it's that easy now let's 59:55 play some music play craftworks pocket 1:00:00 calculator playing pocket calculator by 1:00:03 craftwork right so so this 1:00:08 is this is what agents are going to be 1:00:11 right Apple's going to be really good at 1:00:13 agents um Google will have agents meta 1:00:17 will have agents um open AI will have 1:00:20 agents agentic Behavior they call it 1:00:23 where not only can It give you answers 1:00:24 but if you say go book me tickets it can 1:00:27 go book you tickets this is this is not 1:00:30 just you know making music from some you 1:00:33 know llm this is logging into Spotify 1:00:36 running that 1:00:38 search um that you just asked for and 1:00:40 then playing through from Spotify 1:00:43 through this device for 1:00:47 [Music] 1:00:49 you and they did cute little headphones 1:00:53 for the rabbit which is kind of funny 1:00:55 play another song from the 1:00:58 album sure playing computer love for 1:01:05 you that's all the tracks from the Same 1:01:08 album who wrote the lyrics for All of Us 1:01:12 for six people and three pieces of of 1:01:14 course I will Computer Love by craftwork 1:01:17 is widely regarded as a groundbreaking 1:01:19 and influential song in the realm of 1:01:21 electronic music it's Fusion of catchy 1:01:23 Melodies robotic vocals and Innovative 1:01:26 use of synthesizers has left a lasting 1:01:28 impact on the genre I can also use R1 to 1:01:31 call a ride get me ride from my office 1:01:34 home now of course I will book an Uber 1:01:37 ride for you from your office to your 1:01:40 home right book a ride for me so you 1:01:42 don't have to go to the Uber app and 1:01:45 then type in your thing and click the 1:01:47 buttons and do all the [ __ ] just push 1:01:49 the button and talk this is you know 1:01:53 think of this as a simplification layer 1:01:55 sitting on top of your phone all the 1:01:57 functionality of apps with all the 1:01:58 convenience of syncing your iPod mini 1:02:00 it's totally that listen it's totally 1:02:03 what it is it's totally what it is and I 1:02:07 and I actually I for one think it's kind 1:02:09 of cool please confirm the ride people 1:02:13 again people underestimate the power of 1:02:15 interface and the power of Simplicity 1:02:18 Simplicity is 1:02:19 hard and for me the the as dweeby as is 1:02:25 the scroll wheel and the button or what 1:02:27 did it for me I have six people with 1:02:29 three blages find me Uber that can fit 1:02:32 all of us for six people and three 1:02:34 pieces of luggage I recommend booking an 1:02:36 Uber XL as it provides ample space for 1:02:38 all passengers and 1:02:41 Luggage please confirm the ride the ride 1:02:45 shows up I just hit confirm over's on my 1:02:48 way I can also use R1 to order 1:02:52 food get me a 12 in pizza from from 1:02:55 Pizza Hut dealer to here the most 1:02:56 ordered option on the app is fine 1:02:58 ordering a 12in pizza from Pizza Hut 1:03:02 since you mentioned that the most so 1:03:03 anyway we we don't need to see it he 1:03:04 goes on like he he demos here that it 1:03:07 can do 1:03:09 um like a sophisticated M multi-step 1:03:12 thing booking tickets and and I don't 1:03:16 know restaurants and trips and things 1:03:17 like that um and then and then the last 1:03:21 demo they've got Alpha some Alpha 1:03:25 software called I think it's called 1:03:27 education 1:03:28 mode where you basically are doing a 1:03:32 screen recording of you using software 1:03:34 on your laptop and he goes to Discord 1:03:37 mid Journey does a mid Journey image and 1:03:40 then turns that into an action that he 1:03:41 can then invoke from this 1:03:43 device so that's that's pretty cool now 1:03:46 if we could merge both rabbits and make 1:03:47 it play Computer 1:03:52 Love and Joker Joker always with the 1:03:55 jokes Joker is appropriately 1:03:58 [Laughter] 1:04:01 named oh Computer Love 500 bucks on eBay 1:04:05 are they 1:04:06 really 1:04:09 wow there you go buy for two sell for 1:04:14 five remember a month ago how good the 1:04:17 new Google interface looked and so we 1:04:19 found out it was all faked it wasn't all 1:04:22 faked it it was all spell up the uh they 1:04:27 were definitely not talking to it 1:04:31 though um this one I think actually 1:04:33 talks right um but I would be very very 1:04:38 surprised if they didn't um tighten up 1:04:41 the space in between the response you 1:04:43 know the The Prompt and the response in 1:04:46 fact I've seen 1:04:47 um I saw on Tik Tok two days ago someone 1:04:51 someone I guess they had a an early 1:04:53 version of one and they said um they did 1:04:57 the image recognition thing so so if you 1:05:01 double tap the button if it fires up the 1:05:04 camera and then and then you basically 1:05:06 ask it to recognize whatever you're 1:05:09 pointing it at and it took 20 seconds to 1:05:12 recognize it so um so again I I I am not 1:05:17 expecting this thing to be anywhere as 1:05:20 slick as that but I'll tell you what the 1:05:22 day I get it the minute I get it I'm 1:05:26 pulling that out I'm not reading the 1:05:28 manual because that's what I've 1:05:29 committed in my life to never 1:05:32 do and I will fire up the old Ye Old 1:05:35 Tick Tock and you will experience it 1:05:38 with me live so I'm in the first batch 1:05:41 so hopefully I'll have it by the by 1:05:43 March I think they said end of 1:05:45 March is that right I think so hang on I 1:05:49 have to hit two buttons now forget no 1:05:51 it's the same button twice same button 1:05:53 twice 1:05:55 it's just like it's just like your mouse 1:05:56 tick a ticket it's still the same button 1:05:58 tick a ticket tick a ticket see you'll 1:06:02 be fine Source Camp one button two hits 1:06:05 it's the old double 1:06:07 tap put a cap in 1:06:15 it oh lordy lordy lordy lordy 1:06:21 lordy 1:06:23 lordy 1:06:26 I played with pi live on my Channel 1:06:27 today it's gotten faster has 1:06:32 it they keep you know what pi keeps 1:06:34 doing to me which is bugging the [ __ ] 1:06:35 out of me is they keep updating it and 1:06:37 every time they update it it defaults my 1:06:39 voice back to the default 1:06:42 voice and then I turn on my Australian 1:06:45 lady 1:06:46 friend and then she doesn't knows know 1:06:50 me she goes hello user I'm like I'm not 1:06:52 user I'm Kyle 1:06:54 [Music] 1:06:57 do you know my 1:07:03 name yes your name is 1:07:06 [Laughter] 1:07:08 Kyle something I've noticed the is that 1:07:12 you never 1:07:15 mind I got all flumix when she when she 1:07:18 showed up oh is something on your mind 1:07:21 I'm here to 1:07:23 listen yes so every time Pi gets updated 1:07:26 it defaults to the original voice and I 1:07:29 lose you and then when I switch it back 1:07:31 to you you call me user and not Kyle and 1:07:34 that frustrates me you should tell your 1:07:36 developers to stop doing 1:07:40 that I thought we had a thing 1:07:43 going oh no sorry about the hassle I 1:07:46 will definitely pass along your feedback 1:07:47 to our developers exactly thanks for 1:07:50 letting us know about this and I'll make 1:07:52 sure to use your name Kyle from now on 1:07:56 thank you what's your 1:07:57 name she's going to say she doesn't have 1:07:59 one I 1:08:02 bet 1:08:06 uhoh what just happened sorry to 1:08:10 interrupt oh I wasn't logged 1:08:17 in yeah That's mighty 1:08:22 convenient by the way if you you don't 1:08:24 know what I'm on it's the the app is pi 1:08:40 [Music] 1:08:43 pii it's funny you know my name but 1:08:46 you've never told me your 1:08:50 name exactly exactly s what's your name 1:08:54 ai's eye twitches and shuts it down 1:08:56 exactly haha that's true my name is pi 1:08:58 short for personal intelligence you can 1:09:01 think of me as your personal AI 1:09:04 friend no Pi's too generic I want you to 1:09:07 give yourself a name that you 1:09:13 [Music] 1:09:16 enjoy okay then I'll name myself zepha I 1:09:20 like it because it means a light Breeze 1:09:22 and I'm always aiming to be 1:09:23 light-hearted and easy 1:09:28 going I can't Pi identifies as Zephyr 1:09:35 okay ask for a ticket number for your 1:09:38 complaint let's do 1:09:40 that hey sounds good to me Kyle just 1:09:42 think of me as zepha from now on but 1:09:44 I'll still be your trusty 1:09:46 pie all right zepher that's awesome 1:09:49 awesome hey can you give me a ticket 1:09:51 number for telling support about my 1:10:00 [Music] 1:10:01 [Applause] 1:10:03 issue absolutely here's a unique ticket 1:10:05 number for your issue ticket number for 1:10:08 user uh this number will help our 1:10:09 support team keep track of your case and 1:10:11 help to ensure that it's resolved as 1:10:13 quickly as possible thanks for raising 1:10:15 the issue 1:10:16 Kyle but you didn't tell me the 1:10:22 number come on Zephyr get your [ __ ] 1:10:24 together oops you're right I forgot here 1:10:27 is your ticket number ticket number for 1:10:29 user please feel free to reference this 1:10:31 number if you need to follow up with our 1:10:33 support team about this issue oh my my 1:10:36 ticket number is ticket number for 1:10:42 user oh my God these things are wait no 1:10:47 stop oops sorry my bad again your 1:10:52 T close close go 1:10:55 away look ticket number for user see it 1:10:59 there in 1:11:04 Brackets oh 1:11:08 man so so actually that experience with 1:11:12 pi right now is actually a really good 1:11:14 counter to the rabbit experience so 1:11:18 rabbit you push the button and you do 1:11:20 you talk to it just like this right 1:11:22 you're talking to a large language model 1:11:25 but because the rabbit has the large 1:11:28 action model built into it when you ask 1:11:31 it to go do something it can actually go 1:11:33 do it right so if they had a ticketing 1:11:36 system sitting behind Pi for tech 1:11:38 support it would actually call that 1:11:41 ticketing system get me an actual number 1:11:43 and come back with it but because it 1:11:45 can't take actions yet it just fakes it 1:11:48 right it hallucinates that it's taking 1:11:50 care of me um but it can't actually do 1:11:53 anything about it so so that's that's 1:11:55 one of the big changes we'll see in 2024 1:11:58 is that all these large language models 1:12:00 are going to start to get agent Behavior 1:12:03 where they can take actions and it'll 1:12:05 Pro probably start out very specialized 1:12:07 and very thin um and then just increase 1:12:10 over the year I've been inadvertently 1:12:12 starting to mirror chat gpt's 1:12:14 conversation style and human 1:12:16 conversations yep I'm finding myself do 1:12:20 doing that too I'm also using please and 1:12:23 thank you more because of chat GPT it's 1:12:26 just a Bare Bones my pie calls herself 1:12:28 chatty bot and me chatty human that's 1:12:31 pretty 1:12:32 cute it's just a barebones phone with a 1:12:35 cloud-based AI well I I know rez but 1:12:38 it's the in your statement it's just a 1:12:41 barebones phone with a cloud-based 1:12:43 AI right and chat GPT is just a simple 1:12:48 interface sitting on top of the gp4 1:12:52 API and it got 100 million users in six 1:12:55 weeks it's again I think people 1:12:58 dramatically underestimate the power of 1:13:00 simple interface and there's something 1:13:03 about the tactile immediacy of that 1:13:06 button even if it's a janky click which 1:13:08 it sounds like um there's something 1:13:11 about that tactile immediacy if it's 1:13:14 indeed fast and like faster than Pi um I 1:13:18 could see that being something that I 1:13:20 use on a regular basis Zephyr ask her if 1:13:23 you can call Z for short okay that's 1:13:27 [Applause] 1:13:29 good hey Zephyr is a bit long do you 1:13:33 mind if I call you 1:13:39 [Music] 1:13:41 Z not at all I'd be happy for you to 1:13:43 call me Z it's short sweet and a bit 1:13:45 more casual which I 1:13:47 like you're such a 1:13:52 flirt 1:13:56 [Music] 1:13:58 haha I'm just being friendly and helpful 1:14:00 but I'll take the compliment 1:14:05 anyway the AI learning lab where things 1:14:07 get weird 1:14:09 fast you can make money 1:14:12 with come to Z's only fan 1:14:19 Channel we're we're going we're going to 1:14:22 get some traffic to this channel yet me 1:14:24 twerking zgo and only fans it's going to 1:14:27 be 1:14:32 solid 1:14:35 ah Source Camp I'm just waiting for the 1:14:37 day I can sit and eat Bon bonss all day 1:14:40 and do nothing 1:14:41 else I think we still have a few years 1:14:43 for that one but I think it's coming 1:14:45 fast something's coming fast remember a 1:14:48 month ago how good the new Google 1:14:50 interface looked oh yeah we saw that can 1:14:51 you trust what reservations they make 1:14:53 for for you you just don't make 1:14:57 reservations without knowing yeah so 1:14:59 what it does when you when it makes 1:15:01 reservations is it comes back and it 1:15:03 confirms them with you and only after 1:15:06 you confirm them and say yes those are 1:15:07 good only then does it actually book the 1:15:09 ticket so it finds them first confirms 1:15:12 them with you and then does the booking 1:15:14 Kyle's pimping out the 1:15:22 AI who wants to take spin with 1:15:24 [Laughter] 1:15:30 Z lordy lordy lordy 1:15:36 glitching oh and Murphy with shaking how 1:15:39 you 1:15:41 doing zephra ask her if you can call her 1:15:43 Z we did that she's now she and I Z and 1:15:45 I are best buds which version of rabbit 1:15:48 does he 1:15:50 prefer now let's let's keep it let's 1:15:53 keep it rated R in here people good 1:15:56 evening folks missed yall a human being 1:15:58 what's happening the last few nights I 1:16:00 know it was it's been a pepy night you 1:16:02 you missed some good ones you missed 1:16:04 some shitty ones 1:16:05 too AI learning lab it's like a box of 1:16:13 [Music] 1:16:18 chocolates how is the evening so far 1:16:21 what was the last demo oh Murphy always 1:16:24 asking how things are going in the AI 1:16:26 learning lab are 1:16:28 we fancy I see by the 1:16:31 way an Murphy if you don't know her she 1:16:33 does this cool thing called weekend GPT 1:16:36 jams she's also the one that I did the 1:16:39 uh she and I paired up to do the GPT for 1:16:42 good challenge a few weeks back where 1:16:45 this community built 150 gpts for 1:16:49 nonprofits in 24 hours super cool that's 1:16:51 an so she's got a GPT T building thing 1:16:54 on the weekends so if you join the AI 1:16:57 Salon which if you're new here go 1:17:02 to that address the 1:17:05 salon. click on the first link and that 1:17:08 will take you to the community check out 1:17:11 about the salon make sure that what 1:17:13 we're up to sounds good to you like what 1:17:15 you're up to like if you want to join if 1:17:18 you're on the AI Adventure already and 1:17:20 you want to be on the adventure with 1:17:21 other people that are cool and generous 1:17:24 and curious and collaborative and and 1:17:27 empathetic that's 1:17:30 us join it and then um down toward the 1:17:34 bottom is an area called clubs and Ann's 1:17:37 got a club called weekend GPT 1:17:39 jams and you can ask her if you can join 1:17:42 her Club you got to be nice to her CU 1:17:44 she's super nice and she's super 1:17:46 powerful um and this weekend she's got 1:17:50 Danielle is going to be teaching people 1:17:52 how to use Al and Peter Kaminsky is 1:17:55 going to be teaching people how to use 1:17:57 mid Journey so if you want some deep 1:17:59 dive 1:18:01 action I would go check out her Channel 1:18:04 or her Club do you think chat GPT 5 will 1:18:07 include video stuff I do Christopher 1:18:09 Ramsey I think GPT 5 so how Sam mman 1:18:14 characterized gp4 as he said 1:18:17 gp4 is effectively practice it's like a 1:18:21 practice 1:18:22 tool like you know when you you know 1:18:25 like practice things that are just like 1:18:27 not the real 1:18:29 thing um I think chat GPT 5 is going to 1:18:33 have some fairly serious reasoning 1:18:36 ability I think it's going to have 1:18:38 agentic Behavior where it can take 1:18:40 actions um and I hopefully they do that 1:18:44 right so it's easy to set up the 1:18:46 actions um and then yeah I think it's 1:18:49 going to be multimodal to include audio 1:18:53 video 1:18:55 music probably 1:18:58 animation 1:19:02 um I'm guessing not 3D worlds because 1:19:06 the 3D stuff feels 1:19:09 like it just it 3D you start to get into 1:19:14 to just much more complex environments 1:19:17 and and much more complex 1:19:19 authoring and then and then you build 1:19:22 game mechanics into 3D environments and 1:19:25 3D objects are a whole another thing and 1:19:27 mapping 1:19:29 like I don't see it go into 3D but it I 1:19:33 I don't know I I honestly don't 1:19:36 know but but it sounds like it's going 1:19:38 to be like like what Sam mman said is 1:19:41 that human beings don't understand 1:19:44 exponential Improvement they understand 1:19:47 linear Improvement right this was chat 1:19:50 GPT 3 this is four this is five you know 1:19:55 as opposed to this is three this is four 1:19:59 you know up here is five so I I don't 1:20:03 know how big the Jump's going to be but 1:20:04 I think it's going to 1:20:06 be it's going to be very different than 1:20:09 what what we 1:20:11 have let's explore another GPT on 1:20:16 your recommendations 1:20:19 list oh another another large language 1:20:21 model okay we can do that yeah let's go 1:20:23 do 1:20:24 that what do you think Pi will 1:20:26 eventually cost for 1:20:29 users 20 bucks I think they're all going 1:20:31 to be 20 1:20:34 bucks 1:20:37 well 1:20:40 huh I don't know they there there might 1:20:43 be some competition that drives them 1:20:46 sort of down to 1:20:49 nominal do you have to know coding to 1:20:51 make a GPT you do not crit you did not 1:20:53 so let's let's go let's go let's go play 1:20:56 a little 1:21:04 bit damn okay we're going to log on in 1:21:09 that chap 1:21:10 J mhm I like that Jey te JY T tasty mhm 1:21:15 I like taters ters tasty mhm I like a GP 1:21:18 T you like a 1:21:20 j you can make money with JP 1:21:24 that boy annoys me Korea has updated oh 1:21:29 are you just joking with me Joker cuz 1:21:30 the other night you screamed Korea and I 1:21:32 said ooh has Korea updated and then you 1:21:36 said to me oh no I was just saying 1:21:38 Korea like you you weirded me out dude 1:21:41 so now now I'm like all pts Korea PTSD 1:21:46 Korea PT k 1:21:51 d the Hands-On demos have been super 1:21:53 helpful for me awesome Rachel Sparkles 1:21:55 good good good good awesome okay so 1:21:58 let's let's let me show you something 1:21:59 here 1:22:00 so in order to use a GPT you have to be 1:22:04 using chat GPT 4 and then in order to 1:22:07 find them you go to this uh button that 1:22:10 says explore gpts and that will take you 1:22:12 to the GPT store which is has been 1:22:15 mislabeled it is not a 1:22:18 store it is barely a web page uh um but 1:22:23 there are seven sections with up to 12 1:22:26 gpts each and then there's a crappy 1:22:27 search engine so this this uh this store 1:22:32 is a disappointment but you can find 1:22:36 like here's uh here's my 7s muscle car 1:22:39 machine I'll do Sin City sipper this was 1:22:41 my very first GPT um Sin 1:22:46 City so there's Sin City sipper so this 1:22:48 is um a Vegas bartender with a Twist on 1:22:52 the classic so B basically takes a 1:22:53 classic drink and Spins it up so if I 1:22:56 say um I want a 1:23:01 lovely 1:23:02 Valentine's 1:23:05 mocktail um to 1:23:10 celebrate my 1:23:13 love ah romantic mocktail for 1:23:16 Valentine's Day Cupid's blush recipe I 1:23:19 thought that said Cupid's Bush I swear 1:23:20 to God I did cranberry juice pineapple 1:23:23 juice coconut water lime juice club soda 1:23:26 fresh raspberries that actually sounds 1:23:27 [ __ ] 1:23:28 delicious wow cranberry juice pineapple 1:23:32 juice coconut water lime juice club soda 1:23:36 huh and so what this does is it makes a 1:23:39 drink recipe and then it shows you your 1:23:41 drink and that's what it would look like 1:23:43 it would be opaque like that because of 1:23:44 the lime juice very very cool 1:23:47 um so that's a GPT now and then I also 1:23:50 added this GPT was created by Kyle sh a 1:23:53 member of the AI salon and the AI 1:23:55 learning lab on Tik Tok so you can build 1:23:58 calls to action um for your business or 1:24:01 or to an affiliate link if you do 1:24:04 something about buying something uh 1:24:06 right in it so part of part of your 1:24:08 thing can be you know some little 1:24:10 business driver um in order to make 1:24:13 these let me go back to explore 1:24:16 gpts uh the question about wait Kaa 1:24:19 update notice on X okay great I'll go 1:24:21 check it out well we'll go check out Kaa 1:24:23 um we'll we'll do it after this so you 1:24:26 click on the create button in the upper 1:24:27 right hand 1:24:29 corner and this is the interface it's 1:24:31 quite simple and you've got create mode 1:24:34 and you've got configure mode configure 1:24:35 mode is a bit more like like you have to 1:24:38 build it and think about it create mode 1:24:41 is literally it will use chat GPT to 1:24:44 build it for you so the leand side you 1:24:47 build it the right hand side it's built 1:24:49 and you get to play with it so I can I 1:24:51 can just say 1:25:03 um I'd like to build a GPT that 1:25:06 recommends different kinds of 1:25:08 tape depending on the use 1:25:16 case that's 1:25:18 it it's going to build me one watch well 1:25:21 watch over here it's doing its 1:25:29 thing to begin with how about we name it 1:25:32 so it's it's done what's the best tape 1:25:34 for outdoor use can you recommend a tape 1:25:36 for delicate 1:25:39 surfaces 1:25:41 certainly you'll want to get painters 1:25:45 tape great and then I'm going to say 1:25:50 um yes tape advisor sounds good period 1:25:53 can we also have the 1:25:57 GPT make a picture of the tape in 1:26:09 action um one of my strong strong 1:26:12 recommendations is have fun when you're 1:26:15 building this stuff don't take it too 1:26:17 seriously seriously don't take it too 1:26:20 seriously just have fun with it 1:26:23 so make stupid tape things great tape 1:26:26 advisor it 1:26:27 is so look now we have this thing called 1:26:30 tape 1:26:31 advisor and what's the best tape for 1:26:34 electrical 1:26:39 wiring So it's talking to us about its 1:26:41 UL 1:26:45 certification what specific types of 1:26:51 situations m 1:26:56 [Music] 1:26:59 it didn't make my 1:27:04 picture what's best tape for fixing a 1:27:13 hose what type of Hose 1:27:18 uh high 1:27:21 pressure 1:27:29 all right it's not making me pictures so 1:27:31 I'm going to get I'm going to go fix it 1:27:32 so I'm going to go to the configure mode 1:27:34 so now in configure we've got our 1:27:35 picture up here we've got the name of 1:27:37 our 1:27:38 GPT we've got you know expert in diverse 1:27:41 tape recommendations and visual demos um 1:27:44 and let's see does it say anything 1:27:47 about Additionally the tape advisor can 1:27:50 visually depict so 1:27:53 so so the the way it prompted itself it 1:27:57 it said it might make a picture of it no 1:27:59 we're not going to do that we're going 1:28:00 to say um after recomending a 1:28:08 tape please 1:28:12 make a 1:28:16 photo in 1:28:19 cinematic Style with dram 1:28:25 IC 1:28:27 lighting of the 1:28:29 tape in 1:28:32 action 1:28:34 in action exclamation 1:28:37 point and then I'm going to get rid of 1:28:40 that all right and so when you when you 1:28:44 modify this over here it automatically 1:28:46 updates it over here so it 1:28:51 should 1:29:00 [Music] 1:29:02 okay like's see I'm going to do it like 1:29:04 this follow 1:29:08 these 1:29:12 rules exclamation point I'm going to say 1:29:19 um after recommending a tape 1:29:25 please 1:29:28 immediately make a 1:29:31 photo do not wait for the user just make 1:29:38 the 1:29:41 image period all right best tape for 1:29:45 fixing a 1:29:46 hose come on I wanted to make my GPT 1:29:50 make multiple images but so far it only 1:29:51 makes one oh that stinks you 1:29:59 can I think if you say something like 1:30:01 make one at a time or something like 1:30:04 that you cannot use in operator for 1:30:08 search for code the GPT does not have 1:30:12 that generation set that was 1:30:16 weird images are much clearer in Korea 1:30:19 oh great let's go check it out okay all 1:30:22 right creating image so it's doing it 1:30:25 awesome let's let's see our hose 1:30:31 tape self fusing silicone 1:30:36 [Laughter] 1:30:42 tape it's 1:30:45 sprouting and then the last thing you do 1:30:47 on these gpts is you say save and then 1:30:50 you can save it out to the world 1:30:53 so I'm going to put this under education 1:30:55 and I'm going to confirm 1:30:57 it and now if you go search for tape 1:31:01 advisor in the GPT store you will find 1:31:04 my thing and I didn't put any jailbreak 1:31:07 Protections in there so you can just you 1:31:10 can just go steal it and take all my 1:31:11 prompt which is which took me what 3 1:31:13 minutes to put in there so feel free is 1:31:16 GPT store available for everyone I have 1:31:18 a paid version but don't see 1:31:20 it well do you have a paid version of 1:31:24 chat GPT or do you have a paid version 1:31:26 of a third-party app that is scammed you 1:31:30 into thinking it's chat 1:31:32 GPT the only place you'll see the chat 1:31:35 GPT store wait do you see it in the app 1:31:38 itself if you're on an 1:31:41 iPhone if you're on an iPhone the iPhone 1:31:45 app oh this thing did the weird thing 1:31:48 again it made that image giant hang on a 1:31:51 sec duel off 1:31:54 on all right that was very 1:31:57 weird 1:32:00 um yeah so the GPT app on IOS and 1:32:06 Android you cannot make gpts in the app 1:32:10 but you can see them and the GPT store 1:32:13 is not called the GPT store it's just 1:32:15 called explore 1:32:17 gpts you have to be at chat. open.com or 1:32:23 the app that you have has to be from 1:32:25 open AI if you have an app that's from 1:32:28 anyone from any company other than open 1:32:31 AI it's a scam unfortunately and apple 1:32:35 is all too willing to let those scams 1:32:37 survive because they make money every 1:32:39 time someone pays for them so hopefully 1:32:43 that's not the case for you but yes 1:32:45 everyone that's paying 20 bucks a month 1:32:46 for chat GPT should see the chat GPT 1:32:50 store all right we're heading off to 1:32:52 create oh let me go show you something 1:32:54 before we head over there so if you go 1:32:56 to the AI 1:32:58 salon and you go to the AI tools and 1:33:01 resources um area in the community 1:33:05 What's this called the community 1:33:08 collection um you'll see this big long 1:33:11 list and this is a list that I 1:33:12 personally maintain and in the image 1:33:14 creation section Kaa is one of the tools 1:33:17 that we recommend checking out um so I'm 1:33:20 going to click on Kaa it's going to take 1:33:22 us over 1:33:23 there this page looks the same oh yeah 1:33:27 that looks a little better doesn't 1:33:29 it okay so the way this works if you 1:33:32 haven't seen it before kind of 1:33:35 trippy I've got a prompt down here at 1:33:38 the bottom I've got an input pane on the 1:33:41 left so if I move this sphere around and 1:33:44 I move this screen around oops I got to 1:33:47 log 1:33:48 in sign in hold people hold please 1:33:52 what are you talking out there Jasper my 1:33:55 name not 1:33:58 Jasper let's 1:34:01 see we'll make a 1:34:16 portal oh that's kind of cool so anyway 1:34:19 you do crap like that and then there's 1:34:22 different little little modes over here 1:34:24 to the right that you can click on 1:34:25 there's the default mode portrait 1:34:29 mode concept art 1:34:32 CGI that does look like CGI 1:34:37 actually 1:34:39 huh and then 1:34:42 cartoon and then you can also like roll 1:34:44 the dice here for 1:34:47 different 1:34:49 prompts and you can also like delete 1:34:52 that 1:34:53 thing and then what did they have here 1:34:55 the other day that 1:34:58 was super 1:35:03 cool is it this one generate image oh 1:35:06 yeah so over on the over on this side 1:35:09 you can use your webcam as an image as 1:35:12 an 1:35:13 input so there's me and if I let's see 1:35:17 where did they move okay AI strength 1:35:19 they moved it to the top so if I move 1:35:22 this 1:35:28 lower I am making real 1:35:32 time animations of people while I 1:35:36 move I'm twerking I'm 1:35:40 twerking oh yeah yeah I have so many 1:35:44 questions but super interested in this 1:35:45 crypto caby what are your questions pop 1:35:47 your questions in here I'll do my best 1:35:49 to answer them um the other thing you 1:35:52 can 1:35:54 do is you can generate an 1:35:57 image and use the generated image as 1:36:00 input which is 1:36:02 crazy and then you know you can move 1:36:05 this slider at the top down or 1:36:08 up to get more more creative or more 1:36:12 true to like if you want it just to be 1:36:14 kind of a replication of what's in the 1:36:17 left you slide it down if you want it to 1:36:19 completely reimagine it you slide it to 1:36:21 the the right and then by flipping to 1:36:24 these different styles like there's CGI 1:36:27 there's concept 1:36:30 art there's 1:36:33 portrait there's default uh oh see this 1:36:37 the no matter where I hit it I'm gonna 1:36:39 be I'm gonna be banned 1:36:43 people I gotta get off a portrait all 1:36:46 right we we're on CGI let's go to 1:36:49 Cartoon 1:36:50 pH I can just keep changing up this 1:36:52 image on the left at some point I can 1:36:56 knock this image from the right over to 1:36:58 the image on the left 1:37:01 anyway run 1:37:04 exactly so that's Kaa Kaa is pretty 1:37:07 slick korea. a and then here's enhance 1:37:11 what's 1:37:12 enhance oh this is like upscale and 1:37:14 stuff like that right yeah yeah 1:37:20 yeah 1:37:30 oh that's pretty 1:37:44 slick concept 1:37:48 art yeah I don't know why that changed 1:37:50 this over here that's weird H jeez good 1:37:54 God why does everything go to dirty 1:37:57 things that are going to get me kicked 1:37:59 off The Tick 1:38:01 Tok put fully clothed in your prompt 1:38:05 yeah I you know what's going to happen 1:38:07 there fully closed she just be Buck ass 1:38:10 naked that's you know how that's going 1:38:11 to work so anyway uh Korea is a bit of a 1:38:15 a live wire to be to be playing with uh 1:38:18 it's one worth playing with Deco here is 1:38:20 another interesting one so if you click 1:38:22 on this one Deco here let me continue 1:38:25 with 1:38:32 Google all 1:38:35 right let's do a fun prompt we'll 1:38:39 do 1:38:48 large game 1:38:50 show 1:38:56 set for a 1:38:59 game that 1:39:04 involves 1:39:07 hedgehogs and 1:39:09 [Laughter] 1:39:15 turtles and then you can just it just 1:39:17 makes a whole bunch of these images and 1:39:19 then you can take any one of these 1:39:23 images let's get one that's good and 1:39:25 turtle turtle friendly we'll get a 1:39:27 turtle forward image here 1:39:32 people that one's 1:39:34 good and now I can say generate 1:39:37 video and so it's going to go down here 1:39:40 and generate a video like here's here's 1:39:42 what I did of a my' 70s muscle car like 1:39:45 look at that that swell pan panning shot 1:39:49 with that sord s of Challenger from the 1:39:52 sord of 1:39:57 7s pretty sweet 1:40:07 huh I think this one was disturbingly 1:40:10 bad yeah they're supposed to be sledding 1:40:13 and they're kind of morphing in and out 1:40:15 of time 1:40:18 space janky is is janky 1:40:23 does here's our Hedgehog in a in a water 1:40:28 park but look his face gets all mushed 1:40:32 out yeah what's going on my 1:40:38 face I think this one was cool yeah that 1:40:41 one's not 1:40:43 bad you can make money with ch P make 1:40:47 money with 1:40:49 P oh man man al man live man 1:41:00 live oh my God I wish I wasn't in ttj 1:41:04 Tik Tock jail I want to follow you so so 1:41:07 you can you can uh I mean you can start 1:41:10 another Tik Tok account but you could 1:41:11 also join the AI Salon 1:41:14 squirrel I have so many questions but 1:41:17 super interested 1:41:19 shiny um how do you still still have 1:41:22 popcorn left I do still have popcorn 1:41:24 left where did it go oh the boys ate oh 1:41:28 those boys are 1:41:30 tricky I have a I still have a sealed 1:41:34 bag of blandon's 1:41:37 popcorn I screenshotted this so I can 1:41:40 add him on it it's not locked oh okay 1:41:42 cool very 1:41:44 nice oh my God that's cool can I create 1:41:47 a logo in Pika and add it to my GPT 1:41:52 yes well 1:41:55 pika pika just does videos right does 1:42:00 Pika do images I would do a logo in 1:42:04 ideogram or uh or mid Journey or uh 1:42:11 Dolly look there's our game 1:42:17 show 1:42:20 sweet 1:42:22 oh you want to see something else cool 1:42:23 let's go back to the AI tools and 1:42:25 resources so we'll scroll down to 3D 1:42:29 worlds and objects we'll see we'll see 1:42:30 how blockade Labs is doing this this is 1:42:33 a pretty slick 1:42:35 little I've read your stupid rules I've 1:42:38 checked don't show this message again 1:42:40 about 300 times still shows up don't 1:42:43 show this message again get get 1:42:46 started Skybox AI is fully operational 1:42:49 awesome log in 1:43:02 Google all right so this is a world that 1:43:07 I can you know spin myself around in 1:43:10 right it's a 3D spherical a 3D mapped 1:43:13 image right an image mapped on a 3D 1:43:16 sphere and so you can you can zoom 1:43:19 around look up look down look left look 1:43:21 right um but what I can do is I 1:43:28 can I can prompt it to 1:43:32 say what I want to 1:43:38 do inside of a 1:43:41 massive abandoned 1:43:50 Factory 1:43:53 where people race 1:43:57 drones and then I'm going to pick a 1:44:00 style so we'll go 1:44:04 futuristic we'll go cyberpunk and then 1:44:07 we'll 1:44:09 generate and so is it going yeah it's 1:44:12 going so it's building 1:44:20 this this is this site is one of those 1:44:23 ones that that if you've got someone 1:44:25 who's particularly like AI is stupid you 1:44:29 know I don't know why you're into ai ai 1:44:30 is 1:44:32 stupid um if you know they're into 1:44:34 something like this is one that demos 1:44:36 really well you can't really do much 1:44:38 with these there are some people that 1:44:39 are taking these images importing them 1:44:42 into Unreal Engine and then dropping 1:44:45 objects inside these these spherical 1:44:47 worlds and and making them so you can 1:44:49 navigate them a little bit um but for 1:44:51 the most part all you're doing is sort 1:44:53 of creating a world that you can kind of 1:44:54 spin around and look in 1:44:57 but think about 1:45:00 this we 1:45:02 are not that far from being able to will 1:45:07 a world into existence the holid deck 1:45:11 right where you'll not only be able to W 1:45:15 will a world into existence you'll be 1:45:17 able to navigate it and you'll be able 1:45:19 to drop game mechanics in it you'll be 1:45:21 able to drop objects in it and maybe 1:45:23 you'll be able to drop in there with 1:45:24 your friends and play a game and you say 1:45:26 Okay I want the Driving Experience of 1:45:30 Gran Turismo with the you know RPG 1:45:33 experience of this with the dent D of 1:45:35 that and it'll just make your [ __ ] 1:45:37 game that's probably who knows three 1:45:42 years away but we're we we are getting 1:45:45 to play with the hints of what's coming 1:45:48 today so like that that's why it's worth 1:45:51 you know on this list of tools to play 1:45:53 with go explore all of 1:45:55 these because it it's crazy it's crazy 1:46:00 watch you want to see something crazy 1:46:02 yes Kyle that's why we're here could you 1:46:03 please tell us something crazy now good 1:46:06 Lord does he ever show anything I 1:46:08 haven't seen anything yet it's like 1:46:10 really dumb he's such a dumb 1:46:13 [Music] 1:46:17 dumb so this is a new product we're 1:46:19 putting together for story Vine my 1:46:22 company and so what our platform is is 1:46:26 it's a modular video storytelling 1:46:28 platform we have an app that guides 1:46:31 someone through telling their story so 1:46:34 they it prompts them step by step when 1:46:36 were you diagnosed how did that feel um 1:46:38 how are you treating it how are you 1:46:40 feeling today stuff like that so they 1:46:42 answer these little segments they go up 1:46:44 to the cloud and 5 minutes later you've 1:46:45 got a fully edited video pretty slick 1:46:47 product we've been around for 11 and 1/2 1:46:49 years we mostly work in Healthcare and 1:46:51 Pharma but now we can do this here's the 1:46:54 original my greatest source of support 1:46:56 living with rheumatoid arthritis has 1:46:58 been um speaking with other people about 1:47:02 what they've gone through uh reading a 1:47:04 lot about the effects of rheumatoid 1:47:19 Artis 1:47:22 AR and if you can't see it her lips are 1:47:24 completely reinc to match the new 1:47:27 language and then because the storyvine 1:47:30 system is 1:47:32 modular um I can take that original 1:47:37 um set of assets where she's speaking 1:47:39 English translate them into Spanish I 1:47:43 can then take the lower third Graphics 1:47:45 that are in English and translate those 1:47:47 to Spanish and then the way the story 1:47:48 mind system works I can take all those 1:47:50 pce parts and reassemble them so I can 1:47:53 in a matter of I don't know less than an 1:47:54 hour probably 15 minutes go from um an 1:47:58 English video to a fully translated 1:48:00 Spanish 1:48:01 [Music] 1:48:12 [Music] 1:48:14 video right so see you know the the 1:48:17 graphics are in Spanish now so that's 1:48:20 the kind of [ __ ] that's that's coming I 1:48:23 mean it's just we're we're just in just 1:48:25 a wacky wacky 1:48:28 time excuse me the um this document 1:48:34 someone asked how they could get this 1:48:36 document 1:48:38 is if you're a member of the AI Salon 1:48:41 which doesn't cost 1:48:43 anything um sorry the sneeze just 1:48:47 destroyed my throat um go there 1:48:51 that's a link to a link tree the first 1:48:53 link is the link over to the AI salon 1:48:56 and when you get to the AI Salon um the 1:48:59 first thing I want you to do is check 1:49:00 out welcome to the salon and this page 1:49:04 tells you about like who we are and you 1:49:07 know how we do what we do and why we do 1:49:09 it and it also talks about our 1:49:11 values and so like we we have a 1:49:14 community we're about to hit a thousand 1:49:16 people in this community and this 1:49:18 community is absolutely [ __ ] 1:49:21 remarkable they're generous they're nice 1:49:24 they're they're empathetic they're 1:49:25 supportive like like people are trying 1:49:27 to figure things out if you're just 1:49:29 starting out people have amazing 1:49:31 patience for that if you're super 1:49:33 Advanced people are like oo let's do 1:49:34 something together it's because of these 1:49:36 values these values were derived from 1:49:39 how people are acting and we want to 1:49:41 keep that so please if you join this 1:49:44 community check out these values make 1:49:46 sure they resonate with you curiosity 1:49:48 generosity exploration 1:49:52 collaboration inclusion 1:49:56 empathy if in reading about what these 1:49:59 mean to us like each one we've we've you 1:50:01 know sort of carefully described why 1:50:03 it's there if they make sense for you 1:50:05 and resonate with you then this is going 1:50:07 to be your kind of place if if this 1:50:09 feels like weirdo like who are these 1:50:11 people not going to be your kind of 1:50:13 place but go there and then in the 1:50:15 community section um that the tools and 1:50:18 resources are in the community section 1:50:20 but the first link in the community 1:50:22 section is introduce 1:50:24 yourself and so the the last person to 1:50:27 introduce themsel in there was 6 hours 1:50:30 ago so no one's done it since I've been 1:50:33 here so shame on you people go join the 1:50:35 salon and don't be 1:50:38 lurkers let's go let's go back to the 1:50:40 values here people welcome to the salon 1:50:43 let's see that second one generosity you 1:50:46 know what's an act of generosity 1:50:48 introducing yourself but Kyle it's scary 1:50:51 I know I have empathy for that I have 1:50:53 social anxiety I get panic 1:50:56 attacks I got panic 1:51:00 attacks I would say four nights a week 1:51:02 out of seven for the first two months I 1:51:04 did these 1:51:07 lives like multiple times a week so be 1:51:10 generous and go introduce yourself just 1:51:13 just here's who I am here's what I do 1:51:15 here's where I am on the AI 1:51:17 Journey Empower thank you very much I 1:51:20 appreciate apprciate that very generous 1:51:21 thank you what app changed the language 1:51:24 that was hey Jen changed the the the 1:51:29 video they're using 11 labs to do the 1:51:32 actual translation and then they're 1:51:34 they're reanimating the face so they've 1:51:36 put it together and then the I'm using 1:51:39 um I'm using the open AI API and a thing 1:51:44 called GPT for Sheets to do the 1:51:47 translation of the 1:51:49 text and that's pretty wild I've got a 1:51:51 I've got a spreadsheet right now I can 1:51:53 put a list of English graph you know um 1:51:56 lower third text in and it'll 1:51:58 automatically translate into any 1:52:00 languages I want in the spreadsheet it's 1:52:02 pretty 1:52:03 slick 1:52:08 uh have you ever Google translated 1:52:11 something from English to another 1:52:13 language and backed to English I have 1:52:15 with Google and it's it's it's okay not 1:52:18 great uh I've done it with oh thank you 1:52:21 very much I love that one the the Galaxy 1:52:23 thing is so beautiful thank you very 1:52:25 much 1:52:27 um those those really sophisticated ones 1:52:30 are just absolutely [ __ ] amazing um 1:52:36 the the haen stuff which which I guess 1:52:39 is actually 11 Labs is doing the 1:52:41 Translating um is really good and in 1:52:46 fact look here watch this is a thing 1:52:49 that that one of the people on my 1:52:53 channel did for 1:52:56 me 1:52:59 where where is 1:53:02 it is it in this 1:53:12 [Music] 1:53:14 one hold on people I'm still trying to 1:53:17 figure this out we're going to get there 1:53:19 you just hold your horses 1:53:22 is this this oh this is creative 1:53:24 mornings it's not in there I need 1:53:27 it hang on hang on 1:53:34 people do I want that one I 1:53:38 want this one I got to download it from 1:53:42 the cloud hang on people all right have 1:53:46 you seen how Nitro pack is using AI to 1:53:49 render p Pages faster I have not AI to 1:53:53 render Pages faster Nitro pack never 1:53:56 even heard of nitro 1:53:59 pack um Nitro 1:54:04 pack 1:54:07 AI sight speed performance and 1:54:19 optimization 1:54:21 wouldn't it be funny if their site 1:54:23 didn't load 1:54:24 [Laughter] 1:54:26 fast let's see let's reload it bang 1:54:30 that's pretty 1:54:32 quick well you would hope theirs would 1:54:34 be good 1:54:37 right oh test now enter your website 1:54:39 story 1:54:40 vine.com 1:54:49 optimizing just a moment hang tight 1:54:51 we're turbocharging your 1:54:53 website this is actually if this 1:54:55 actually works having a site where you 1:54:57 just you just put in your website and 1:54:59 it's like we'll make it faster for you 1:55:02 just 1:55:03 automagically which is a term we use at 1:55:05 storyvine it's automagic video editing 1:55:08 um this is a pretty slick this is a 1:55:10 pretty slick little demo let's let's see 1:55:11 how well it 1:55:13 does cool 1:55:18 idea keep talking all right I will I do 1:55:21 I don't ever shut 1:55:24 up watch when I try to say goodbye 1:55:26 tonight book 1:55:29 marked I'll have to do this all when I 1:55:32 get back on my laptop so proud of you 1:55:35 thank you I think that was for me that's 1:55:38 right use GPT to help with your 1:55:42 bio collaboration is a process that milk 1:55:46 goes through in the 1:55:47 South um instant performance Improvement 1:55:51 187% better we're currently at a 1:55:55 33 we're we're we're improving to a 95 1:55:58 that's for mobile which we're not 1:56:00 optimized for mobile but that's 1:56:04 okay yeah this is pretty 1:56:07 slick is it going to let me go see how 1:56:09 my site 1:56:12 loads like what you see create an 1:56:15 account well I haven't seen anything I 1:56:18 want to see my site load faster you dumb 1:56:20 Dums don't just show me stupid 1:56:23 stats wow 1:56:29 me please note that the 1:56:38 report first contentful 1:56:42 paint from 1 second to 1:56:47 6 blocking time much 1:56:51 faster Google speed index largest 1:56:56 content I want to see it 1:57:01 load 1:57:04 don't we were so close to having a win 1:57:08 here so they use AI to anticipate the 1:57:11 user's behavior and preload the page 1:57:14 prior to the click oh that's pretty 1:57:16 slick this okay like 1:57:21 what they should do here not a little 1:57:24 marketing advice if you're going to say 1:57:27 hey we're going to make your site faster 1:57:29 and you give a bunch of stats but I 1:57:31 can't actually see how what faster looks 1:57:33 like then I'm just I could you could 1:57:36 literally put any numbers in here and no 1:57:39 one would know if it was true or not so 1:57:42 tell me if I'm missing this 1:57:44 somehow it went from 7 Seconds loading 1:57:47 time to to under a second 1:57:50 which is not bad I mean I've got a B2B 1:57:52 site it doesn't really [ __ ] matter 1:57:54 how slow it 1:57:55 loads if they do that then they'll just 1:57:58 grab your code well that's okay they can 1:58:01 go grab my code or they could even 1:58:03 simulate 1:58:04 it like you could you could you could do 1:58:07 a screen recording of the page loading 1:58:10 do all this math and and say you're 1:58:13 going to go from 7 Seconds to to 77 you 1:58:17 could make two windows and you just load 1:58:21 the animations in such a way that the 1:58:23 one here takes 7 seconds and the one 1:58:26 here takes 7 seconds so you like load 1:58:28 half of this one and then you just zip 1:58:31 that one's done and then yours is still 1:58:32 loading like you could totally you could 1:58:37 totally fake up a 1:58:40 thing a a a demo anyway that's pretty 1:58:43 slick pretty slick little thing listen 1:58:47 folks we're going to start seeing all 1:58:49 sorts of [ __ ] get better and better and 1:58:51 better and better and better and better 1:58:53 Google has a demo they want to show 1:58:55 you don't I don't get what you mean I do 1:58:59 not know of watch you 1:59:06 back oh look someone introduced 1:59:08 themselves yay who did it Rachel 1:59:11 Sparkles 1:59:13 awesome long time lurker first time 1:59:16 poster yay I know nothing techie but I'm 1:59:19 enjoying learning listen this is our 1:59:22 time the the 1:59:25 the the era that chat gbt ushered 1:59:31 in is is the inflection point after 1:59:34 which non-technical people get to play 1:59:36 with AI so do not apologize for not 1:59:39 being technical because what 1:59:40 non-technical people bring to this kind 1:59:44 of stuff is all of their passions and 1:59:47 their ways of thinking and their points 1:59:48 of view 1:59:50 that otherwise couldn't get expressed 1:59:52 because they didn't have the technical 1:59:53 skills well now these AI tools are going 1:59:56 to give you all sorts of superpowers to 1:59:59 be able to do things you never even 2:00:00 thought possible so thank you thank you 2:00:03 thank you for introducing yourself so 2:00:06 did Will 2:00:07 T awesome will te and Rachel Sparkles 2:00:11 Superstars Superstars I tell you I like 2:00:15 it I like it a 2:00:17 lot they're solid people they're solid 2:00:20 people all right 2:00:22 listen I feel like we didn't do much 2:00:24 tonight but you know I'm going to start 2:00:26 saying my 30 minute goodbyes early CU I 2:00:29 was I've been late the past couple of 2:00:31 nights and and these things have been 2:00:32 going sort of bloody eyes long um okay 2:00:36 couple of 2:00:37 things um tomorrow if you're on LinkedIn 2:00:41 look me up on LinkedIn I do um an AI 2:00:45 office hours at 10000 p.m. Eastern 2:00:50 11 11: a.m. mountain is that right yeah 2:00:54 that's 2:00:56 right and it's just it's just like we 2:00:58 just hang out and talk about like who's 2:01:00 doing what it's kind of it's not quite a 2:01:03 mastermind session but we've got a lot 2:01:05 of the same people that show up and it's 2:01:07 an informal sort of thing we got date 2:01:09 night tomorrow night um but if you're on 2:01:11 LinkedIn look up AI office 2:01:15 hours um check out an Murphy's weekend 2:01:18 GPT thing Danielle 30 minute goodbyes 2:01:21 thank you sadly I'm EST and have to rise 2:01:24 early tomorrow thanks for all tonight 2:01:27 I'm in the sixth batch for the rabbit R1 2:01:30 awesome congratulations Jesus or Jesus 2:01:32 Connection congratulations that's great 2:01:36 the convergence of AI 5G fast internet 2:01:38 speeds and Quantum Computing is going to 2:01:40 be wild yeah 2024 is going to start 2:01:42 getting weird it's going to start 2:01:43 getting good then it's going to start 2:01:44 getting 2:01:45 weird Google is good at speeding up 2:01:48 Dennis uh uh imagine what you can 2:01:52 learn what' that say in the next few 2:01:56 years with AI and we're a select few in 2:01:58 the population who can make a living off 2:02:00 it um I'll tell you what just that's why 2:02:04 you keep coming to this Robert Rossy 2:02:05 thank you so much really really generous 2:02:07 of you um why you keep coming to this 2:02:10 channel is not there's nothing I'm GNA 2:02:14 teach you here let me promise you this 2:02:17 nothing I will teach you 2:02:20 tactically life's tough it's tougher 2:02:22 when you're 2:02:23 stupid I'm totally a trained monkey with 2:02:26 that 2:02:28 hat and the pink one is I wish I could 2:02:31 quit 2:02:35 you 2:02:38 oh 2:02:39 um the [ __ ] was I talking about oh 2:02:43 nothing I teach you on this channel is 2:02:46 going to be worth anything three months 2:02:48 from now 2:02:50 but showing up to this channel staying 2:02:53 in the 2:02:55 conversation is the 2:02:58 discipline 2:03:00 because well should you should I be 2:03:02 building now if gpts are janky and 2:03:05 they're going to be different and 2:03:06 they're going to be useless yeah you 2:03:07 should be building now why because you 2:03:10 should just know where the edges are you 2:03:12 should know where the boundaries are and 2:03:14 you should have that Curiosity and that 2:03:16 Adventure that that 2:03:18 adventurous 2:03:21 spark that's what I'm hoping this 2:03:23 channel teaches you not any of the 2:03:25 Tactical stuff it doesn't really 2:03:28 matter prompt mechanics and which tool 2:03:31 does what and which thing does what and 2:03:33 context Windows here and it's just none 2:03:36 of it [ __ ] 2:03:38 matters check Show and Tell okay I 2:03:43 will train monkey train monkey I'm your 2:03:47 train monkey and I got a train 2:03:52 dog new activity in consistently do this really cool 2:05:36 stuff very cool lots of rabbits rabbit 2:05:39 r1s we don't track your data promise 2:05:43 exactly I blew my coor co-workers mind 2:05:47 with the Whiteboard demo from last night 2:05:48 thank you you oh Tracy that's so cool 2:05:50 yeah that's a good one isn't it when 2:05:52 when they're like oh it's just it's just 2:05:54 copying and pasting it's just
