42. 9:06>> So, we're going to be talking about that. Um last Friday night, we did an AMA, which was a blast. So, the the uh
43. 9:12the way the the lives look now, we go live Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 7:30 p.m. Mountain Time, so 9:30 Eastern, 6:30 Pacific.
44. 9:23Um we go for 90 minutes. Monday is kind of big news item to talk about. Wednesday is we're going to play with something.
45. 9:32Figure out what we're going to play with and make stuff. And then Friday's an AMA. And we're going to do that uh for for a
46. 9:40while, for a couple of weeks, couple of months, who knows. When I started this channel, I just said my only thing I know is I'm going to go
47. 9:49live seven nights a week for a year, and I did that. And then I went seven uh five nights a week for two and a half years.
48. 9:59And now we're down to three nights a week, but in a much more focused way. We're inside the AI Salon. So, really excited about that.

62. 12:23About how Hollywood right now, all the writers, producers, directors are basically training AI models how to replace them. >> [laughter]

69. 13:44>> [music] >> Um next week I think is their developer conference Google IO. I think that's next week.
70. 13:51Um so it makes sense that open AI would drop a bunch of stuff this week to preempt Google which is going to drop a bunch of stuff next week.
71. 13:59Um hopefully Google's getting better at this thing where they don't just announce a bunch of [ __ ] and then never
72. 14:04launch it. I hopefully they're going to you know announce stuff that we can play. I need to come up for air. It's

74. 14:24Even though things are accelerating, I think the actual power play right now is to slow down. As humans. Um
75. 14:36There's I I talked about a book called Turning Pro and and in the book he talks about addictive behavior that you're either a
76. 14:45an amateur or a pro. You're either an artist or an addict. And if you're an addict, you can be an addict to a bunch of things. You can be
77. 14:52an addict to you know substances or sex or whatever, but you can also be an addict to productivity or doing work or
78. 15:01working out or whatever, right? You can you can be addicted to lots of things and what he talks about in the book is that
79. 15:08that when you're in an in an addictive mode, you get addicted to the point of incapacitation. I feel like AI right now is making
80. 15:16people productive to the point of incapacitation. That just because you can execute 10 things simultaneously
81. 15:28you you can't actually process the 10 things simultaneously. So, you end up producing all this [ __ ] that you can't
82. 15:34even deal with. Not dealing. I mean creating. Yeah. Let's see. I agree. I've turned back back to dealing by hand. Yeah, exactly.
83. 15:45I think the power play right now is to find places to insert friction into the process. Because AI is a friction-free environment.
84. 15:55And I think we as humans need a little We need time to process. And it's it's not a bug. I think that's one of the things that
85. 16:04I the trap that I fell into was more faster, more faster, do more better, more better, more better, more better.
