pulling me 0:50 [Music] 0:52 down wondering 0:56 how black she stick around 1:05 told me once before he said you never go 1:08 home 1:10 again won you 1:12 leave s things to steer me away yeah 1:18 from the truth of who I am and what I 1:21 [Music] 1:26 [Music] 1:29 believe 1:31 [Music] 1:36 hey no 1:38 [Music] 1:41 rapping how am I feeling I'm feeling 1:43 like [ __ ] but the show must go on people 1:46 The Show Must Go On you can take a man 1:49 out of the theater but you can't take 1:51 the theater out of the 1:53 man so I'll be a little grally tonight I 1:56 am well medicated I am well teed I am 1:58 well rested and I might last half an 2:01 hour we'll see how we'll see how long it 2:03 goes I should be able to get at least an 2:05 hour in it's a little it's a little 2:07 crackly the old voice 2:10 huh champ on the other hand very excited 2:13 to be singing 2:14 tonight he was going at it still 2:17 torturing his dog exactly he loves it 2:21 man the minute I hit the guitar the tail 2:23 goes he just 2:26 goes he loves 2:28 it oh man like and share I I support 2:33 that lunar stick 184 people in here good 2:36 Lord people welcome so my name is Kyle 2:39 Shannon uh as as some of the people have 2:42 intimated I am uh I'm I'm feeling a 2:45 little bit under the weather but uh it 2:47 was good it's you know this if there's 2:50 going to be a week that you're going to 2:51 get forced to take a 2:54 break this is this is the week to do it 2:57 so uh I've been sleeping a lot uh but 3:00 this is the AI learning lab so hopefully 3:03 if you're here that means you're curious 3:05 about this stuff and maybe you're here 3:08 CU someone in your family's been driving 3:10 you nuts you should check out AI you 3:12 should check out Ai and then maybe 3:14 you're here because you're one of those 3:15 annoying people in your family going you 3:17 should check out AI you should check out 3:20 AI I am actually curious so so do me a 3:23 favor if you've got questions about AI 3:24 pop them in the comments but I would 3:26 also love to hear has 3:29 anyone 3:31 gotten someone over the 3:34 fence any any Kevin any family related 3:37 Kevin mallister 3:39 moments where you showed some people AI 3:42 would love to hear those 3:43 stories I think we might do that in the 3:45 salon so next Tuesday a week from 3:48 tonight is the next AI salon and I'll 3:51 talk about the 3:53 salon but um next Tuesday is the salon 3:57 so I think we'll do some some 3:59 combination of you know family gathering 4:02 reporting um let's like and give Kyle 4:05 some love y'all a that's so sweet be not 4:07 afraid I appreciate that 4:10 um yeah if you want to if you want to 4:12 share this so we can get some more 4:14 people in here if you want to get carple 4:16 tunnel doing the like thing that'd be 4:17 great feel free to follow the 4:20 channel 4:22 um but yeah I figure I figure for the 4:25 salon it'd be good to do a what are you 4:28 excited for in 2020 before and uh what 4:32 experiences did you have over the 4:34 holidays with AI and people thinking 4:36 you're a 4:42 weirdo 4:45 ah yeah my eyes my eyes are not 4:48 looking they are not looking healthy um 4:52 I shared pie with my Uber driver and she 4:55 was amazed she downloaded it right 4:59 away 5:01 it's one Uber driver at a 5:03 time every Uber driver has a 5:06 family that's awesome that's awesome 5:11 how'd you bring that 5:12 up hey do you have do you have a virtual 5:16 companion yet for when you're born in 5:18 your 5:19 car if you think Uber drivers are 5:21 obnoxious now when they call their 5:23 friends and family how about when 5:24 they're talking to pie the whole 5:27 trip that's pretty good I like it 5:32 oh man I enthralled Andor alienated 12 5:36 friends and family at the winter 5:37 solstice party frumple that is perfect 5:41 that is 5:43 perfect and and here's what I know the 5:45 ones who you alienated they'll be back 5:48 right they're just scared everyone's 5:51 scared there's there's some anger 5:53 there's some fear and there's curiosity 5:56 and if you can disarm this stuff what 6:00 what I think everyone in here is 6:02 discovering with AI is that it is 6:05 significantly more 6:07 empowering um than it feels on the 6:13 surface the there was a a really good 6:15 source Camp from in here Kelly Camp um 6:20 posted on LinkedIn today a beautifully 6:22 written piece about how she's 6:25 rediscovering her her inner creativity 6:28 child this freedom of creativity Thank 6:30 You Be not Afraid thank you very much I 6:32 appreciate that and she she's 6:34 rediscovering it because of AI because 6:36 it's you know it can it can give her a 6:39 leg up on some of the skills stuff that 6:41 she might not have had but it's allowing 6:42 her to self-express in ways she couldn't 6:45 have imagined and it was just just 6:47 really beautifully written and that 6:50 that's that seems to be a consistent 6:52 experience is that when you get into AI 6:56 it's less scary than you think it is 6:58 it's more empowering than you think 6:59 think it is I my response to Kelly's 7:03 post today was 7:05 I when I first learned about AI where I 7:08 immediately 7:10 went is that oh this is going to be 7:12 great for efficiency and productivity 7:15 and I went to automations and zappier 7:17 and I did all that sort of [ __ ] and what 7:19 I've learned is that it is so much more 7:21 profound than that Cosmic lover I'm at 7:24 the movies and sneaking in my my ear the 7:27 AI learning lab I was using voice on my 7:31 phone and she was curious to know why 7:33 all the different 7:36 voices what all the different voices 7:38 meant that's really awesome 7:43 cam do you have multiple personality 7:45 disorder you're just happy to see me oh 7:48 no it's 7:49 pie that's 7:54 [Laughter] 7:57 awesome oh man 8:01 and there was a lot of anti- AI talk at 8:05 Christmas dinner so during dessert I EXO 8:08 its virtues oh you let you let them get 8:10 it get it out during the uh during the 8:12 turkey consumption and as they got all 8:14 trip toed out then you hit them with 8:16 here's why it's good that's awesome did 8:19 you get anyone to the other side lunar 8:20 stick that's that's really 8:22 [Laughter] 8:24 funny it's so so here's here's a curious 8:28 here's a question for those of you that 8:31 that that dared to talk about it in the 8:33 family gatherings when there was 8:37 resistance did any of the people who 8:39 were anti-a AI had any of them actually 8:42 used 8:43 it I I am 8:46 assuming where's your [ __ ] mask I 8:49 know Joker it's that's it's right there 8:51 it's on my Funko 8:54 Pop it's well you know what funny so 8:58 we've been isolating in the house right 9:00 but I was the fourth one to test 9:02 positive so once I tested positive 9:04 they're all walking around with their 9:05 mask going you got to keep isolating 9:07 them like why we're all positive like 9:10 there's 9:11 no there's no there's no uh there's no 9:16 need at this point we have successfully 9:20 completed the cycle lunter stick my 9:22 in-laws don't understand it but they see 9:24 how alive I become with it 9:27 interesting I'm normally pretty quiet 9:29 yeah fascinating yeah cuz it's 9:32 uh it like like once you once you sort 9:36 of once you sort of get the it's the red 9:40 pill thing once you kind of see what the 9:42 what the world can be like what the 9:44 world's going to be 9:45 like it's hard not to talk about it's 9:48 hard not to get 9:50 excited 9:52 yeah yeah it's hearing you talk about it 9:55 lunatick on the on that call last week 9:58 was was really cool 10:00 because it 10:01 was like it feels like it's unlocked a 10:03 bunch of things for you and that's 10:05 that's what Kelly said today in that 10:06 LinkedIn 10:08 post yeah it's my Funko Pop has the the 10:11 the Johnny Cupcakes Sugar 10:14 Skull the the pasy skull shirt 10:18 on isn't that the 10:21 best I forget who made somebody made 10:24 somebody made a GPT the the Funko Pop 10:26 GPT so you can just make a GPT of anyone 10:29 you want it's not 10:35 awesome oh man Dr awward joined perfect 10:40 you'll you'll fit you'll fit right in Dr 10:42 award that's what this channel is 10:44 nothing but this is a this channel is 10:47 just a series of Awkward Moments One 10:50 after the other that that I try to break 10:52 up with you can make 10:58 money 11:00 he froze uh when I switch cameras it 11:02 freezes that's just the that's just Tik 11:05 tok's fantastic memory management 11:07 welcome back Kyle thank you 11:11 Nancy yeah I'm still a little under the 11:13 weather still a little stuffy my eyes 11:15 are a little a little cloudy as they say 11:19 his eyes weren't so bright tonight did 11:20 you notice that he looked a little he 11:23 looked a little dim well he's he's he's 11:25 always a little dim but you 11:27 know he seemed dimmer than 11:30 [Laughter] 11:34 normal oh man so let's talk about a 11:38 couple of things what are you doing 11:41 Saturday oh this is 11:45 nice sorry about 11:48 that was kind of an involuntary snort 11:51 because I'm like I can't breathe okay 11:53 now I can breathe uh if I my apologies 11:56 if I had an excelled database with info 11:58 of historic Mills could I make a GPT 12:03 absolutely assuming you had an Excel 12:05 database with info on historic Mills you 12:08 could make the historic Mills GPT I can 12:11 show you how to do that 12:14 tonight uh I've I've been spitting that 12:17 for a week yeah I know I know I promise 12:20 I won't spit it but you know I can't 12:22 promise I won't go into a coughing fit 12:24 or 12:24 whatever um but here's here's what we're 12:26 going to do put some lemon in in that so 12:29 this is uh emergency so two packs of 12:32 emergency in a lot of water and I just 12:35 had a uh Throat Coat meant the 12:39 eucalyptus whatever tea right before 12:42 this so I should be okay for a 12:47 bit 12:49 um where do people's gpts get stored 12:52 promoted okay let's let's go so so let's 12:54 go so let me tell you what's going on 12:57 Saturday and then 13:01 um and then we'll go talk about gpts why 13:03 don't we go build one we'll go build one 13:05 how's that sound all 13:07 right Sherry D joined thank you Sherry D 13:10 what's happening Sherry D did you make 13:13 the Funko Pop thing or did Danielle who 13:15 somebody made the Funko Pop GPT so if 13:18 you go to the AI 13:21 Salon um you can go find that GPT which 13:26 is super 13:27 cool did he how I feeling I'm feeling a 13:30 little poopy I made the GPT for oh it 13:34 was wait you made the 13:35 GPT for Ted oh it's Ted's GPT cool all 13:39 right great awesome it's a good one I 13:42 like it a lot um yeah it's super 13:46 cool 13:48 um okay 13:51 so let me get my get my head back in the 13:54 game here okay so 13:58 this let me talk to you about this 14:01 so the AI Salon is a community that I 14:05 started a week after GPT came out a year 14:07 ago we just celebrated our oneye 14:10 anniversary and we are sponsoring along 14:14 with Ann Murphy from empowered 14:18 fundraising we are sponsoring a 14:23 24-hour what we're calling the GPT for 14:26 good 14:27 challenge so this is this coming 14:30 Saturday hopefully hopefully I'm feeling 14:32 a bit 14:34 better because we're doing 24 hours and 14:38 and it's it's uh it's it's a really cool 14:41 format so every 3 hours it's either 14:44 going to be an or I me here and her on 14:48 Zoom teaching people how to build 14:51 gpts and we particularly want people to 14:54 build gpts for nonprofits and then share 14:57 them and share them with the hash GPT 15:00 for good our goal is to build 100 gpts 15:04 for good for 15:07 nonprofits are you Belgian you're 15:09 speaking Flemish that's good Ted thank 15:12 you Ted's always here for a solid troll 15:14 I like it 15:16 um so um so how do you find it if you go 15:21 to the salon. there's a link tree there 15:25 there's actually two links one is just 15:27 the generic link to the AI salon the 15:29 second one is the specific link to the 15:31 details about Saturday what we're doing 15:33 Saturday so we're starting at 6:00 in 15:36 the morning Pacific time and then every 15:39 three hours for 24 hours we're going to 15:41 teach people how to make gpts so my 15:44 request is that and let me let me flip 15:46 over to the AI 15:48 salon and if you go to salon streams and 15:51 meetings there's an event here called 15:54 the GPT for good 15:57 event and here are the details so we 16:00 start Saturday the 16:03 30th and we go until the we hours of the 16:07 morning on Sunday so if you're in 16:10 another part of the world there's no 16:11 [ __ ] excuse for you not to come to 16:13 this thing and make a cool GPT for 16:16 nonprofits all 16:20 right so 6: a.m. Pacific it's an on Zoom 16:25 9:00 a.m. it's me on Tik Tok noon it's 16:28 her on Zoom 3 p.m. it's me on Tik Tok 16:30 and it goes on like 16:33 that Isn't that cool um so it should be 16:36 a lot of fun so we're going to teach 16:39 you uh about chat GPT about what gpts 16:43 are and then how to build one and you'll 16:45 build one with this this is like a 16:47 Hands-On it's not like you got to go do 16:49 something you you know they they have 16:51 these things called hackathons and those 16:53 essentially require that you be a geek 16:56 this GPT thing is so easy that you don't 16:59 need to be a geek all right so here's 17:01 the other deal if you already know how 17:03 to use chat GPT if you've already made 17:06 50 gpts like lunatick has I still want 17:09 you to come to this thing because you 17:11 can support people that have questions 17:13 I'm only going to be so coherent and and 17:16 will only have the ability to answer 17:17 certain questions so it's it's my real 17:20 hope that that you can support people 17:22 that way the other thing is this if you 17:26 go to the AI Salon to get the 17:27 information about the PT challenge check 17:30 out the salon so it's free it doesn't 17:32 cost you anything um we we support it 17:36 basically with the merch store and if 17:37 someone wants to sponsor a month that's 17:39 that's basically how it works so it's 17:40 free for free for people and so go to 17:44 the about the salon and it it talks 17:45 about who we are and basically this is 17:48 like a support group for people that are 17:50 curious about AI okay and it it is it's 17:54 a remarkable community and it's 17:56 remarkable because the people in here 17:58 have particular values that if you 18:00 resonate with them these are your people 18:03 right if you've got curiosity if you're 18:05 generous like if you're willing to share 18:07 what you're learning even though you're 18:08 like but I don't really know anything 18:10 Kyle but if you're willing to share that 18:12 that's an amazing thing and everyone in 18:14 here is doing that right now it's it's 18:17 it's amazing um exploration is one of 18:21 our values collaboration is one of our 18:22 values like get in here and team up with 18:25 someone and build something inclusion 18:27 people are coming from all over right 18:29 it's it's not just you know 18:32 creative uh industries that are getting 18:35 impacted by this it's everyone and so 18:38 people are coming from all over there's 18:39 there's a lot of folks in here that have 18:41 effectively retired that are like [ __ ] 18:43 it I'm like having fun I'm going to go 18:45 do this and then the the last value we 18:47 have is 18:48 empathy because people are afraid right 18:51 if if you've been talking to your family 18:53 and people are pissed off or scared 18:55 that's what's going on there they're 18:57 scared they don't want to be displaced 18:59 they don't know about this so so have 19:02 that empathy and disarm this stuff for 19:04 them and then and then the other thing I 19:07 would request is if you join the salon 19:09 the first thing you should do go to the 19:10 community section and there's a little 19:12 section called introduce yourself go 19:15 there and introduce 19:16 yourself be generous but Kyle it's scary 19:20 to introduce myself what if everybody 19:23 judges me that's the Human 19:25 Condition suck it up buttercup introduce 19:28 yourself 19:29 be generous it's not about you it's 19:33 about everyone else and so if you if you 19:36 let them know who you are and what 19:37 you're up to and hey I'm just getting 19:38 started or hey I've been in this for 30 19:40 years or hey you 19:43 know I'm pretty sure that my profession 19:46 is going to be obliterated by this thing 19:49 what do I do let us know that there's 19:51 all sorts of amazing people in here 19:53 that'll support you and then there's 19:54 water cooler discussions there's a 19:56 showand tell channel so these lives have 19:59 become oh that's really sweet Claire 20:01 thank you I've got a lot of a lot of get 20:03 well things in here cuz I'm feeling 20:06 sickly 20:08 um but the show and tell channels become 20:10 like this kind of 20:13 jam here we go this this kind of jam 20:17 where 20:18 as as I'm kind of making jokes and 20:21 making fun of things people are in here 20:23 generating images and sharing them 20:26 there's Silver Fox when she was a brown 20:28 fox that's pretty 20:30 funny 20:31 see that's just minus the mask that's 20:34 pretty much where I am right 20:37 now oh 20:39 man my little cup of tea very 20:44 nice oh man Crazy 20:47 Eddie if you were in New York in the 80s 20:50 Crazy Eddie man Lisa Bender a lovely cup 20:54 of bone broth thank you so much I 20:56 appreciate that the thoughts the 20:58 sentiments Sherry D made me a lovely 20:59 turtle 21:02 soup but anyway jump in here share some 21:05 stuff you're making share some gpts 21:07 you've made share 21:09 whatever doesn't matter and then the 21:12 other thing we got going is we've got 21:14 guilds so we've got a 101 Guild uh we've 21:17 got a uh an Art Guild a writer Guild a 21:19 business Guild P's got a mechanics Guild 21:22 for people that want to geek out on how 21:23 this [ __ ] actually works there's a 21:25 healthcare Guild there's a video Guild 21:27 and we are just now 21:29 spinning up an education Guild headed up 21:32 by Mr K and uh just me and the 21:36 trees and they are going to be spinning 21:39 that thing up so I'm super excited about 21:42 that so all right go do that Saturday 21:47 mark it down there we there are so 21:50 many slots there are how many is it I'm 21:54 doing four she's doing four there are 21:56 eight opportunities for you to learn how 21:59 to build a 22:00 GPT and screw it we'll go build one 22:02 right now here's the other thing if you 22:05 have built a GPT for a nonprofit do me a 22:08 favor and share it and tell people to 22:11 come here or to to go to the the AI 22:14 Salon um 22:17 link for the for the the landing page 22:20 for the GPT for good 22:22 challenge share your GPT with the world 22:25 and tag it GPT for good and point people 22:27 to this event 22:31 you don't have to work for the nonprofit 22:33 but I'll tell you what it would be swell 22:35 if you did work for a nonprofit in some 22:38 way because a lot of nonprofits right 22:41 now just like a lot of other people are 22:43 really scared of this stuff and the 22:45 whole point here is that you shouldn't 22:46 be afraid of it and and the gpts we're 22:49 going to make are going to be these 22:50 amazing little resource tools that will 22:53 teach people about the nonprofit teach 22:55 people about the cause that it's up to 22:58 and then then do a call to action for 23:00 people to 23:01 donate Isn't that 23:05 cool I think that's 23:08 cool I think that's bitching that's what 23:11 I think I'll leave that up on on screen 23:13 here um let me in fact Let Me 23:27 Go 23:48 [Music] 23:57 m 24:01 can I make that any 24:06 bigger 24:08 [Music] 24:09 W there we 24:18 go there we go I'll just leave that on 24:20 screen for a bit let me go let me go 24:22 look at some 24:23 comments some comments so if you go to 24:27 the the URL for for that link tree is 24:30 the 24:33 salon. and the 24-hour GPT for good 24:36 challenge info that second link it's 24:40 both of these links will take you to the 24:42 AI Salon Community the mighty networks's 24:44 Community but that's a direct link to 24:46 the info for Saturday so anyone you know 24:49 no matter where they are in the world 24:51 we're going to have a slot that they'll 24:53 be able to jump in Isn't that cool is 24:56 that Gary Bucy I feel like Gary Bucy 24:59 right 25:06 now 25:13 yeah I got my sticker you know what I 25:16 did too look look look wait how do I do 25:19 this oh I can do it like this all 25:23 right look I'm I'm revealing all my 25:25 production secrets so there's my Neo 25:27 Toyo sticker look there's my AI Salon 25:29 sticker look how good it looks it's 25:32 [ __ ] 25:33 awesome Isn't that cool here you can see 25:36 you can see my my helmet box there's the 25:38 back of my apple apple gets a spot 25:41 neotokyo gets a spot and now the AI 25:43 Salon I'm very uh judicious about my 25:46 stickers not everyone gets a sticker on 25:49 the back of this bad 25:57 boy where's 25:59 the oh there it 26:08 is all 26:11 right a human being I got my stickers 26:14 and shirt I haven't gotten my um first 26:16 anniversary hoodie or shirt yet I got my 26:20 I got a a dark shirt with the blue logo 26:23 but I haven't gotten my first 26:24 anniversary one 26:27 yet I'm ready for it dang it but I got 26:30 my stickers 26:32 today knowledge is power and I realized 26:34 making a GPT that I'm not 26:38 sure it's responsible GPT 26:41 making that's interesting I'm curious 26:44 why did you put something in it that 26:45 might not 26:46 be might not be good Mr it I got my 26:49 sticker 26:50 nice love 26:57 it 27:00 Joker I need to do a Polish final polish 27:02 on mine and I will 27:20 share um doing SEO for a national 27:23 company very 27:24 cool we're going to do the the the gpts 27:28 that we're going to build for the 27:28 nonprofits are going to be very very 27:30 simple we'll we'll build one here 27:33 tonight 27:40 um it's going to be very easy one of the 27:43 things that's remarkable that open AI 27:45 did in in putting these gpts 27:48 together is 27:51 that you take the full power of gp4 chat 27:54 GPT 4 which is this multimodal Beast 27:58 which if you're new to this stuff 27:59 doesn't mean anything it just means it 28:01 can do a lot it can see it can make 28:03 pictures it can hear it can talk it just 28:07 does a lot it can do data analysis it 28:10 can do really 28:11 crazy you know writing and document 28:14 analysis and coding and all sorts of 28:17 things so you take the power of that and 28:20 then you can customize it for your thing 28:23 oh and then this question from John Hess 28:25 where do we share gpts so 28:29 be patient right now it's a pain in the 28:33 ass there are some directories out there 28:37 lunatic and a couple of the Irregulars 28:39 have shared on there's one out of 28:41 Indonesia I forget what it's called um 28:43 but there's a directory out there we're 28:45 putting together a directory for the GPT 28:47 good for good you can find gpts on 28:51 Google with a very specific search which 28:54 I'll show you right 28:56 now 28:58 um but the GPT store from open AI is 29:03 coming so that's going to be like the 29:05 Apple App Store so while you could have 29:07 a directory of iPhone apps um you 29:13 wouldn't want to compete with the Apple 29:15 store that's kind of how I feel about 29:17 the open AI store that all of these 29:20 directories are not going to be 29:21 necessary once they open their store but 29:23 we'll see I I don't quite know how it 29:24 works Joy pie I want to get people's 29:27 opinion on the nonprofit day and see if 29:30 it's a good idea 29:33 GPT um yeah you can absolutely do that I 29:36 you know what I would encourage you to 29:38 do is is bring the people along here 29:40 here's the deal with the gpts you can 29:43 build the 29:44 GPT you don't have to share it publicly 29:47 you can let it be private you can share 29:50 it only with people who have a link or 29:52 you can share it publicly and um but I 29:57 think it's important for people to 29:59 understand what they are and what they 30:01 make possible because it's remarkable 30:04 where can we find PDFs for the 30:07 gpts I don't know what you mean digital 30:09 Danny what do you mean where can we find 30:11 PDFs for the 30:13 gpts clarify your question I think I 30:16 might know what you mean but I 30:26 don't 30:29 oh the missing person's 30:31 one well I don't know that that's not 30:33 responsible 30:35 you're trying to help find people I 30:38 don't know possibly I mean listen we're 30:40 all going to have to figure out we're 30:42 all going to have to figure out the 30:44 boundaries of of what's good what's bad 30:46 what's you know what's relevant I I 30:49 think you you build the stuff and you 30:51 put it out there and you test 30:53 it oh oh where do you get the the PDFs 30:57 to Fe feed the 30:59 gpts well you can get them anywhere so 31:01 so what what I'm planning on doing um 31:05 for the for the challenge is every 31:08 nonprofit's going to have an about us 31:11 page and they are very likely going to 31:13 have a donate page and so with those two 31:17 pieces of information we've got 31:19 everything we need for a 31:22 GPT um and so so in that case I'm using 31:27 the fact that chat gp4 is connected to 31:29 the internet as the knowledge base for 31:32 the 31:33 GPT um if a nonprofit or if any company 31:37 or if you personally have a PDF or a 31:40 text file of data you can just upload 31:44 those so let me here let me show you a 31:45 GPT I 31:48 made this is not a nonprofit thing well 31:50 actually it is a nonprofit thing it's 31:52 for a screenplay I never sold so it's 31:54 very 31:56 nonprofit it's just not tax 31:58 [Laughter] 32:10 deductible 32:18 okay so this GPT that I 32:22 made is the salmon flying East 32:25 screenplay decoder 32:28 and so let's see 32:30 um what happens in the first scene of 32:33 the 32:34 movie of the 32:36 screenplay so SE says searching my 32:38 knowledge so it's now reading my 32:41 screenplay which is amazing to me it 32:43 still blows my mind the first scene of 32:46 salmon flying East is set in the 32:47 pre-dawn hours of Gig Harbor Washington 32:50 in 32:51 1991 the atmosphere is described as 32:54 foggy with the Northwest air hanging 32:56 over the glassy Waters of the Puget 32:58 Sound which is exactly how I remember 33:00 writing that a white fishing boat with a 33:02 blue stripe is mored in the creaking 33:04 slip suggesting a quiet and Serene 33:07 environment inside the boat's cabin we 33:09 meet the main character 33:11 Jack he is a weathered and right so so 33:14 this thing read my 33:16 screenplay and pulled that 33:19 out so in this case I'm so any data it 33:23 could be a CSV file it could be a 33:25 marketing PDF it could be in this case a 33:29 screenplay any data can be uploaded as 33:32 the knowledge base and then look what 33:33 this thing does it generates a 33:37 storyboard a frame from the film that 33:40 never got 33:43 made I mean isn't that 33:45 remarkable and so that's what these gpts 33:48 are if you haven't seen 33:51 them they 33:54 are Standalone person personalized 34:00 customized 34:01 applications that Leverage What chat GPT 34:06 is and so this one is one it's literally 34:09 for you to understand a screenplay that 34:11 I wrote and you can go find this if you 34:14 go to the AI Salon you can actually go 34:15 play with 34:17 this um let me show you how to find gpts 34:19 on Google so if we go to 34:21 google.com where am I 34:24 here there's Claude go to Google let me 34:27 go to the 34:31 goog so if you're you're at Google get 34:33 pay attention to this one because the 34:36 the 34:37 um the uh whatever this is called the uh 34:42 my brain's not working how you write the 34:44 URL is very very specific but if you 34:47 write site 34:49 sit colon slash it's this thing right 34:52 here site 34:56 slash 34:59 chat. 35:01 open.com SLG for 35:04 GPT 35:06 slite colon chat. 35:10 open.com 35:12 SLG and search on Google it will show 35:16 you the 35:18 116,000 gpts that have been 35:21 created so there are tons of these 35:24 things out there and let me see if 35:30 salmon flying East let me see 35:35 if no I'm not in there but I think Sin 35:37 City sipper is Sin 35:40 City yeah so my Sin City 35:45 sipper so if I if I typed in site colon 35:49 colon site colon chat. open.com 35:55 gspace Sin City it brings up the Sin 35:58 City sipper which is the very first GPT 36:00 I ever made so that has now 36:04 been captured by Google's algorithm and 36:08 you can go find it and this one's a fun 36:10 one too um reinvent the margarita for 36:15 me and it's going to create an image of 36:17 whatever this new concoction is and then 36:19 give me the recipe for 36:22 it slick 36:24 right so you can share these things 36:27 on 36:30 um directories out there that are made 36:33 for them but you can also just wait for 36:36 oh that's 36:36 beautiful the Vegas pink 36:39 Margarita tequila lime juice prickly 36:42 pear syrup for that vibrant pink UE 36:44 that's great triple SE ice cubes salt 36:48 for riing the glass lime wedge and an 36:51 edible flow so so this Sin City sipper 36:54 is a it takes classic drinks puts a 36:57 Vagas Twist on them that's very 37:00 vegacy look how beautiful that is you 37:02 can put that right in a drink menu could 37:06 you can your creative GPT chat box me 37:10 embedded in a personal website um not 37:14 quite 37:15 yet what you can do is you can just take 37:19 um like a screenshot of the logo or 37:23 whatever make an image for it and then 37:25 put that image on your webs that links 37:27 to the 37:29 GPT I have I have a suspicion this is 37:32 purely speculation I have a suspicion 37:35 that when the chat GPT store comes out 37:38 there will be ways to embed these things 37:40 in your website and embed codes 37:44 and um you may not even need to have 37:49 um chat GPT 4 to run them but that one 37:53 that one I'm iffy on I have a feeling 37:56 they're going to keep 37:57 people wanting to pay for them do you 37:59 have to pay for chat GPT you do unbrace 38:02 sun but um so on 38:06 Saturday when we do the GPT for good 38:09 what I'm also going to show is how you 38:11 can do the exact same thing with po you 38:13 can make a PO um GPT bot um so you can 38:18 effectively create the same thing 38:20 without having to have a 38:21 subscription 38:24 um but I don't we don't quite know these 38:27 things are going to live uh once the GPT 38:29 store comes out so uh and and making 38:33 gpts is so easy that um it's it's much 38:37 easier than making them on PO CU po you 38:39 still have to do a little configuration 38:41 on chat GPT you don't I have several 38:43 gpts on my website page of course one 38:46 must have GPT for Access yeah I know 38:48 Source Camp it's it's a it's a drag 38:50 right now but um more and more people 38:53 will get access to it 38:56 and 38:57 I I can only imagine that they'll find a 39:01 way to run these things as a as a 39:04 standalone like a a standalone running 39:07 app hang on I got to let champ in I'll 39:09 be right 39:25 back you little [ __ ] going there with 39:29 him I'm not 39:55 you 40:01 yeah not 40:04 yet no it's not 39 40:07 minutes Gabby it's 40:21 8:39 40:25 yeah 40:33 all right all right all right all right 40:35 all 40:41 right that Margarita will kick kick out 40:44 the vid that's 40:46 true 40:48 um Winston how to you everyone I see I'm 40:51 a bit late you're right on time Winston 40:54 you're always welcome here anytime you 40:56 show show up Amelia's wife on the other 40:59 hand she has to be on time did she even 41:02 make it 41:04 tonight she was talking like she was 41:06 going to be 41:07 here I don't know if she's here I don't 41:10 know what's going on 41:11 man all right let's 41:16 see um she's worried for you Kyle I 41:20 appreciate that I'm not going to go much 41:21 longer I think what I might do is just 41:22 show you how to make a GPT here we'll 41:25 sort of we'll sort of tea things up for 41:28 Saturday sorry she's not giving you 41:30 anything 41:31 [Laughter] 41:36 Kyle Kyle could be in a hospital bed and 41:39 which she'll still show up for us it's 41:40 probably 41:41 [Laughter] 41:43 true yeah luckily luckily my my symptoms 41:46 are kind of mild I'm just you know it's 41:48 just like a bad cold it's an annoying 41:51 bad cold but it's a bad 41:54 cold um all right all right so let's 41:57 let's go do this let's let's go make one 41:59 of these things all right so how do we 42:02 do this so if you have not played what's 42:05 happening Saturday oh cuno you don't 42:07 know this is so cool so 42:12 Saturday we are doing a 42:16 24-hour Amelio's wife I was on time all 42:20 right fine fine you don't get a demerit 42:22 today but that's just because you're on 42:24 time um 42:27 so on Saturday the AI salon and 42:31 empowered fundraiser so Anne Murphy's 42:33 group The an Murphy who does the weekend 42:35 GPT 42:37 jams um who's also way into uh nonprofit 42:41 fundraising we're doing a 24-hour GPT 42:45 for good 42:46 challenge and so and so what it is is 42:50 every 3 hours an and I are going to 42:52 alternate so it starts at 6:00 in the 42:54 morning it goes 691 12 3 42:58 69123 for 24 hours I'll be doing it here 43:02 on Tik Tok she's going to be doing it on 43:04 her Zoom 43:06 Channel and um we're going to we're 43:09 going to teach people how to make gpts 43:11 and our request is that they make a GPT 43:14 for a nonprofit either one they work 43:16 with or one that they just support and 43:18 want to do a cool GPT um if you're doing 43:21 it just for for a nonprofit you might 43:24 not be able to use their logo but you 43:26 know 43:27 um you can still do something that will 43:28 educate someone about that nonprofit you 43:31 also don't have to share the nonprofits 43:32 but the whole idea is you make gpts and 43:36 you share them and 43:39 uh what channel 43:43 um the how you mean how do how do you 43:46 find out about this so if you go to the 43:48 AI 43:49 Salon if you go to that 43:54 URL there is a a hang 44:00 on there's a section called Salon 44:05 streams and meetings and in that there's 44:07 the GPT for good 44:11 event and then that tell that gives you 44:13 all the info and it gives you links 44:17 to Ann's Zoom meeting and my Tik 44:21 Tok and so we're just going to be doing 44:24 this 44:24 alternating tutorial on how to do gpts 44:27 for 24 hours and then we want to get 44:29 people to share them and share them with 44:32 this hashtag and our goal is to build 44:36 and share 100 gpts for nonprofits Isn't 44:39 that cool isn't that fun and this was 44:42 this came up last Thursday someone just 44:45 said Kyle you should do some 24-hour 44:47 thing and I'm like that was stupid I'm 44:48 never doing that again and then then I 44:51 had this idea I was like wait a minute 44:53 what if we did it for nonprofits it's 44:55 kind of like a hackathon except we're 44:58 using chat gpt's incredible ease of 45:02 use um where you don't have to be a 45:05 technologist you don't need to be a 45:07 hacker hang on to 45:13 SEC all 45:17 right Winston I owe you Kyle that's fine 45:21 I take cashier checks and gold bullion 45:24 or gold buttons money 45:28 willing I did a video where I said this 45:31 was solid 45:32 gold and and that I that Parker from 45:37 Gold Rush made it for me smelted it for 45:39 me and some guy was actually like that's 45:43 not solid gold I was like oh good lord 45:47 all right too 45:49 soon you don't take whiskey I do take 45:52 whiskey I should have a 45:54 whiskey uh uh uh uh 46:01 uh Winston I feel like a loser since I 46:04 told some regulars I would send you a 46:06 Christmas present and never did you 46:08 don't need to send me a present Winston 46:10 I appreciate the sentiment 46:12 though you were I get some rest Kyle you 46:15 weren't the one that that said um you 46:18 were sending me a bottle of Blandon 46:19 that's the only one I'm salty over I 46:21 don't think that was you Winston someone 46:23 came in here and said they were sending 46:24 me a bottle of Blandon I'm like okay 46:26 then they never reached out and got my 46:27 address so and I and I have I do not 46:30 have a mysterious bottle of Blandon in 46:32 the email but that's all 46:34 right he also takes planton yeah Sher 46:37 knows exactly um yeah I'll I'll get some 46:41 I'll get some rest here um let me just 46:43 show you quickly how to do these gpts so 46:45 if you go to chat 46:50 [Music] 46:55 GPT 46:57 and if you've got chat GPT 4 you got to 47:01 make sure you've got chat GPT 4 then 47:04 over on the left hand side you'll see 47:06 you know one or 47:07 two um 47:10 gpts likely one called DOL some things 47:13 that chat gpts created and you'll see 47:16 this explore button if you click the 47:17 explore 47:18 button it'll take you to a list of gpts 47:21 you've made or used and then here's some 47:24 by open AI that you can play with with 47:27 and the very top link is create a GPT so 47:30 you click on 47:32 that and and this is it there's two 47:35 panes there's the create pan and then 47:37 there's the preview pane as you create 47:40 it it just instantly builds it for you 47:43 and so it can be anything now I got to 47:46 come up with with [ __ ] covid brain I 47:49 got to come up with some clever idea 47:51 let's 47:53 see I've got a stupid one 47:59 no that's too stupid um let's 48:06 see I got 48:14 one I'd like to create a 48:19 GPT that asks 48:22 someone about the kind of furniture they 48:25 like 48:28 and the 48:30 era that that furniture came 48:34 from and once you have enough 48:38 information you design them a piece of 48:41 custom 48:45 furniture okay so the the talking that I 48:48 just did there that's not part of chat 48:50 GPT I'm just using the Mac um 48:52 accessibility thing with the microphone 48:54 I forget what it's called but it's you 48:56 hit the microphone button you can talk 48:58 instead of type um so I could have just 49:01 typed that but like that's all you have 49:04 to do like I'm going to hit return here 49:07 and it's going to updating GPT so it 49:09 right now is building us a GPT and 49:11 you'll see over here on the 49:15 right once it Updates this thing it'll 49:18 populate over on the right A Creative 49:21 Furniture designer who designs custom 49:23 pieces based on user preference 49:26 is um let's 49:31 see I want to make a 49:36 chair sounds like an exciting Project 49:39 Style 49:40 preferences let's see 49:43 style 49:46 mid 49:49 century uh 49:52 materials wood and 49:55 leather 49:56 function and comfort is the chair more 49:58 aesthetic let's go aesthetic 50:02 athetic and 50:10 futuristic color scheme let's go with 50:14 vibrant 50:17 colors cultural historical 50:20 influences 50:22 Frank 50:24 Lloyd Wright 50:31 and then size and environment 50:34 uh business 50:37 Lobby boom now it 50:40 should thank you based on that it's 50:42 going to describe it design concept the 50:46 right Fusion 50:47 chair the frame is crested from high 50:50 quality durable wood possibly Walnut or 50:53 teak seating and back rest or 50:56 Leather So it's describing it 50:59 all and now it should just go would you 51:02 like any modifications I'm just going to 51:05 say sounds 51:17 great um please make me a rendering of 51:23 the 51:24 chair so that's a problem we got to 51:27 fix now it's creating the 51:30 image where does it pull the data from 51:33 in this case is just pulling it from gp4 51:36 which here's the thing about chat gp4 it 51:39 [ __ ] knows 51:41 everything not not everything but 51:43 essentially all of the data that they 51:45 could get their sweaty little paws 51:48 on 51:50 um that is futuristic it's got some sort 51:53 of weird ass chair thing going on like 51:56 leg thing going on on the on the bottom 51:59 there let's go it's pretty slick um try 52:05 again but go more 52:11 minimalist uh 52:14 uh so I'm going to go back over here and 52:17 I'm going to say 52:21 um immediately after getting enough 52:25 information 52:27 about the 52:29 chair the GPT should generate the 52:34 rendering first and then describe the 52:38 concept so you can update your GPT and 52:42 so here's the the chair it did I mean 52:45 that's very mid-century modern it's not 52:47 very futuristic it kind of looks like 52:49 something you'd see in an old school but 52:51 that's okay 52:54 um it's going to be called Arian 52:58 designer um we we'll go fix that but 53:02 it's generating a profile picture for us 53:04 now which is kind of 53:06 cool oh that's awful okay let's go 53:12 um let's call 53:15 it 53:19 Furniture uh let's see 53:24 bepoke 53:29 Furniture 53:32 designer and make the image 53:36 a mid century 53:42 chair not Grandma's leather 53:48 lounger Kyle don't forget to save it 53:50 yeah okay so so it's updating that and 53:53 I'm going to show you one other one 53:54 other thing here all right so now it's 53:56 generating a profile 54:08 image all right there's our thing yeah 54:10 that's good that's fine so now you see 54:13 our gpt's got a little chair there it's 54:15 called the bespoke furniture designer 54:17 designer creating custom furniture 54:19 renderings based on user preferences so 54:22 now on this left hand side I just used 54:24 the chat GPT interface I can flip over 54:26 to this other Mode called 54:28 configure where I've got the icon the 54:32 name of the GPT the description The 54:35 Prompt the the base of the prompt uh and 54:38 then what those starter questions are 54:41 now I've also got this thing down here 54:43 called knowledge where I can upload 54:45 files so let's say that I had a I had 54:47 written a book on Furniture Design or or 54:52 you know historical Furniture Design or 54:54 you find an old open Open Source book on 54:57 Furniture Design you can upload anything 55:00 you want into the knowledge base and 55:02 then this GPT can access that knowledge 55:05 as its knowledge base this is the thing 55:07 that makes it really powerful the other 55:09 thing that you can do is you can turn on 55:12 web browsing and um Dolly image 55:14 generation and this thing called code 55:16 interpreter which is data analysis you 55:18 can even hook it up to API these gpts 55:21 can get very very sophisticated but the 55:24 fact that you can just talk it into 55:26 existence with the with the use of chat 55:28 gpp as the interface makes it really 55:31 really powerful okay so now we have this 55:34 thing that we're decently happy with I 55:35 didn't tweak it at all but whatever when 55:38 I say save you can save it for only you 55:41 for anyone with the link like if you 55:42 just want to share this internally 55:44 within your nonprofit or if you want to 55:45 share it publicly if you share it 55:49 publicly the little note here says this 55:51 GPT may appear in the GPT store so right 55:54 now today today because there's no GPT 55:57 store sharing it with anyone with the 56:00 link and public are effectively the same 56:04 thing but if you say public then when 56:07 the GPT store comes there's a chance 56:09 that your gpts will be listed on the GPT 56:12 store and what Sam Alman said is the 56:15 most popular of these gpts are going to 56:18 go into some sort of rev sharing thing 56:20 so you can make money with J you could 56:24 actually make money with ch 56:26 uh if you if you create a popular GPT 56:29 all right and that's it like we're done 56:33 like this exists I can now share this in 56:35 fact here's what I'm going to do I'm 56:36 going to take a screenshot 56:39 of 56:44 the this little thing whatever that's 56:48 called the title and the 56:50 image I think that saved it to my did 56:53 that go clipboard or desktop that's 56:56 desktop 56:59 okay and then I'm going to go 57:02 to the AI salon and I'm going to go to 57:05 show and 57:06 tell and first thing I'm going to do is 57:08 I'm going to upload the image 57:13 of my 57:18 screenshot and then I'm going to go um 57:23 here's a swell 57:29 Furniture designer for 57:33 you it's not all that swell it's a piece 57:35 of poop but you 57:37 know we made it in a few minutes and I'm 57:47 sick what oh I didn't copy the URL hang 57:52 on grab the 57:54 URL 57:56 head back over 57:57 here so there's the 58:00 URL and then I'm going to hashtag it as 58:04 a GPT and I'm going to hashtag it as 58:07 Irregulars so we know that it's the 58:09 wacky weirdos in here we're doing this 58:11 for and boom post 58:14 it and so if you now go to the showand 58:18 tell channel on the AI Salon you can now 58:21 go play with this bespoke furniture 58:24 designer this is [ __ ] amazing right 58:27 because if you do this as like you know 58:29 my screenplay one or the Sin City sipper 58:32 or something for your business or just a 58:34 fun toy for people to play with you can 58:37 build into 58:38 these a call to action so this is one of 58:41 the things we're going to do at the GPT 58:42 for good event which let me put that 58:45 information back up let's 58:49 see yep here we 58:52 go if you go to the salon. 59:00 it'll take you here and this will take 59:03 you straight into the detail 59:07 page and 59:11 so what was I talking about 59:15 um we're going to teach PE people 59:18 something on Saturday you make a 59:22 GPT 59:24 oh we're going to teach you how to build 59:26 into it a call to action so what that 59:29 means is this we're going to create 59:31 we're going to create the GPT for the 59:34 nonprofit that'll tell you about the 59:36 nonprofit it'll tell you about the cause 59:37 of the 59:38 nonprofit and then after it tells you 59:41 information it's going to do a call to 59:43 action to say go to the Donate 59:46 page and so you can build calls to 59:49 action into these things so you can make 59:51 a really fun thing that people like to 59:52 play with and then at some point in 59:55 there do like a little ad for your 59:57 business so maybe you're a bakery we one 1:00:00 of the ideas that came up in here I 1:00:02 think I think Sherry D put together a 1:00:04 GPT of sugar cookies like iced sugar 1:00:07 cookies or I don't know who who it was 1:00:10 that did 1:00:11 it I know I forget who it was but anyway 1:00:15 it was a sugar cookie GPT well imagine 1:00:17 if you're a baker and you gave out this 1:00:19 thing for people to make sugar 1:00:21 cookies um really cool designs and then 1:00:26 you could say hey if you want these 1:00:28 designs made contact the bakery so so 1:00:32 these things can be incredibly powerful 1:00:34 all right can you develop a GPT that 1:00:37 would serve as a style guide for do 1:00:40 absolutely in fact Barbara I've done it 1:00:42 I did it for 1:00:44 sdxl so if you've got the the criteria 1:00:48 for how 1:00:50 you oh Be not Afraid did the sugar 1:00:53 canvas GPT that's right that's that's 1:00:55 right Daniel yeah be not afraid to it 1:00:57 that one's so good and then Vicky in 1:01:00 here does 3D printing so Vicky said if 1:01:03 you do cookie designs in Danielle's 1:01:07 sugar cookie thing she can print the 1:01:09 cookie cutters so it's very 1:01:14 cool so anyway um so so yes let's see 1:01:21 something like into a fillable 1:01:23 PDF 1:01:25 is there a way for the final 1:01:29 output to be exported so ugly men 1:01:32 yes if you use code interpreter one of 1:01:36 the things that code interpreter can do 1:01:38 is that it it can output in specific 1:01:40 file formats including 1:01:42 PDF so yes now if you want it to act 1:01:47 more like a predictable application you 1:01:50 may need to build an application like in 1:01:53 something like zappier with their 1:01:54 interace faces 1:01:57 um uh feature um but but if you just 1:02:00 want to prototype something really 1:02:02 quickly yeah you can have it output 1:02:04 PDFs on some of my gpts I have a prompt 1:02:07 that says to add a call to action to 1:02:10 visit my website yeah that's that's 1:02:11 exactly what we're going to teach a 1:02:13 human being on Saturday is we'll we'll 1:02:17 do a call to action to the Donate page 1:02:19 so that's why what we're going to do is 1:02:21 we're going to have people get two URLs 1:02:23 from the nonprofit one is the about the 1:02:25 nonprofit page and one is the Donate 1:02:28 page I did one that gives a link to my 1:02:30 email for the cookie cutters oh that's 1:02:32 really 1:02:34 awesome that's super 1:02:36 cool 1:02:39 um all right listen my voice is going 1:02:43 south my brain is going south I made it 1:02:47 an hour which I'm I'm pleased with 1:02:49 myself because I'm still feeling poopy 1:02:53 um but
