17:31 skepticism about him but but listen I

17:40 billion spend 50 Grand on a media
17:43 consultant before an interview with a
17:45 Wall Street
17:49 Journal I don't know maybe I'm just

22:59 business so don't apologize for being a
23:03 sales guy but I would say lean in have
23:05 learn learn as much as you can about AI
23:07 start talking about
23:09 it in in as many channels as you can
23:12 talk about it at dinner parties talk
23:14 about it on LinkedIn talk about it on
23:16 Facebook talk about it on
23:19 Twitter Hey I'm a sales guy and I I
23:23 couldn't figure out how to I don't
23:26 know find perspective companies to work
23:29 for so I use chat GPT and and I told it
23:33 you know search the internet and it
23:34 found me these really interesting
23:36 companies that you know I can take my
23:39 skills and apply it and I got an
23:40 interview next week like just talk about
23:42 that [ __ ] people have told me I will be
23:46 replaced with
23:48 AI
23:51 well
23:54 no
23:57 no I mean if listen if you're a it it
24:00 depends what you
24:02 sell if all you do is cold
24:05 calling I think cold cold calling I
24:08 think call centers in
24:11 general are going to
24:15 be fairly decimated by AI the human part
24:20 of it I think
24:22 the hate to say this I think the
24:27 um the end user experience for customers
24:31 is going to get better when customer
24:33 service centers go to all AI quite
24:35 frankly cuz I they can't get worse right
24:39 the humans are so hobbled they they can
24:41 only read their scripts they you sit on
24:43 hold for 45 minutes just have an an have
24:45 a robot answer the [ __ ] phone and
24:47 give me what I need and I'll and I'll be
24:49 done and I'll be fine and I'll be
24:52 happy so I think I think that area is
24:54 there sales is slightly different um I
24:57 think the Outreach the cold calling I
24:59 think as the as the robotic voices get
25:04 better and the latency gets less I can
25:07 see that replacing outbound sales people
25:10 but if you're in any kind of you know
25:14 inbound sales or relationship sales or
25:16 you're selling complicated products
25:18 that's about relationships I don't think
25:20 that goes away at all but I think that
25:23 sales people are going to be expected to
25:26 be AI literate and AI
25:30 efficient and so get ahead of that
25:34 curve don't just go in there as I'm a
25:36 sales guy go in there is I'm an AI
25:38 literate sales guy let me show you what

40:11 weirdness to it right so I upscaled
40:16 it and then I
40:19 said a prompt of sunset over the Rocky
40:22 Mountains in and then sref that image so
40:27 style ref of that image and it
40:31 generated these images of the Rocky
40:34 Mountains which are trippy and cool and
40:36 like like something you'd never get
40:39 to and then I said a fly fisherman
40:42 casting elegantly on the Delaware River
40:44 as the fog lifts off the water and I use
40:47 the same image and then I think did I
40:50 upscale one of those no I didn't but
40:52 like those are some
40:54 cool some super cool super
40:58 styled you know fly fishing guys so that
41:01 was
41:03 cool so then what I did was I went out
41:05 to the internet and I just I I typed in
41:10 Google types of
41:13 illustrations and I just went to the
41:15 image tab in Google and I just tried to
41:17 grab five different image styles that
41:19 were just as as different as possible
41:22 right so here's this kind of cubism
41:24 thing there's this sort of you know I
41:27 don't know 80s or 90s line art thing
41:30 there's this pencil sketch there's you
41:32 know Picasso looking [ __ ] up here this
41:35 crazy raw illustration down here and
41:38 then I took that exact same prompt the
41:41 fly fisherman casting elegantly on the
41:43 Delaware River as the fog lifts off the
41:46 water and so here was the the pink one
41:49 the Pink Ladies here and I didn't I
41:51 didn't use uh uh style waiting so we can
41:55 we can try that so there's the fly
41:57 Fisher with the little pink one the next
41:59 one was that handdrawn sketch and like
42:02 there's these handdrawn sketches that
42:04 are really cool and then the next one
42:08 was the the the shapes this this didn't
42:11 come out good but it's still kind of in
42:13 interesting look but it doesn't look
42:14 like the source image this was that
42:17 black and white thing again because the
42:20 default is 100 and a thousand is the
42:24 strongest I I would imagine if I bump
42:26 that up to like 800 or a th000 that
42:29 would be much better or much closer to
42:31 that original and then the last one was
42:34 this uh this cubism looking thing here
42:38 whatever the whatever that style is I
42:39 think it's cubism and it came up with
42:42 some really cool like look at the the
42:45 curves and you know things there look
42:48 how beautiful that image is so I
42:50 upscaled some of these that one's just a
42:52 beautiful
42:54 image and by the way if you don't know
42:56 mid Journey I'm in cord right now and
42:59 it's a real pain in the ass to work in
43:02 but it just it's better than anything
43:04 else out there in terms of quality look
43:06 at that
43:08 image if you've ever fly fished that
43:12 motion that that's what it feels like
43:15 when you get dialed into fly casting
43:18 that's what it feels
43:21 like it's just it's just a that's just a
43:23 brilliant brilliant visualization of
43:26 it
43:28 there was sort of
43:29 a upscaled version of it where I don't
43:33 quite like it as much it lost something
43:35 in the upscaling but it's still really
43:40 beautiful all right

1:35:39 it's going to it's going to it's going
1:35:41 to create a new image based on the
1:35:45 description of the of the
1:35:48 image um which is which is pretty slick
1:35:51 it's another like I love these
1:35:53 techniques
1:35:54 that that are like there's a there's a
1:35:57 thing in music called circuit bending
1:36:00 where you take like synthesizers and you
1:36:02 [ __ ] with you like solder the wrong [ __ ]
1:36:05 together and you just [ __ ] with the
1:36:08 circuits that's kind of what you're
1:36:09 doing

1:36:54 when I use that as the style
1:36:57 reference for the first time ever
1:37:00 prompting 70s muscle car in an abandoned
1:37:03 Factory everything was in 90° angles or
1:37:06 you know sort of a a perfectly
1:37:08 symmetrical force or you know
1:37:10 perspective image like I've never seen
1:37:13 that before so then when I just used the
1:37:15 describe function to to describe one of
1:37:18 those
1:37:20 images and had it render those it goes
1:37:23 back to like the 3/4 view that I'm used
1:37:26 to
1:37:27 seeing but it's still got like the the
1:37:30 windows are still 90° on and those
1:37:32 usually aren't those are usually 30° as
1:37:35 well that's kind of
1:37:37 cool like this looks this looks more
1:37:40 like what I normally get actually this
1:37:43 actually these bottom two let's upscale
1:37:45 three and four
1:37:49 here that's super
1:37:53 slick and then here what's the
1:37:55 description here photo of an old Ford

1:40:49 trumped the convenience of being able to
1:40:53 create Dolly images in the context of a
1:40:57 conversation but these the the character
1:41:01 reference thing like really getting good
1:41:03 at character reference and really
1:41:05 getting good at style reference for me
1:41:07 right now feel like they're just
1:41:09 something markedly different than what I
1:41:10 can get in other places like there's a
1:41:12 level of control that okay that that
1:41:15 that's where this is really powerful for
1:41:17 me one of the great frustrations of AI I
1:41:20 think for a lot of people is lack of
1:41:24 predictability right we're used to
1:41:29 computers behaving predictably like we
1:41:33 as humans over the past 50
1:41:36 years have worked on computers that
1:41:39 programmers PR program the [ __ ] and it
1:41:42 does things the way the programmers
1:41:44 programmed it and it's predictable every
1:41:46 time and these [ __ ] AI tools as
1:41:49 remarkable as they are they're just
1:41:52 they're just not predictable right and
1:41:54 so when you want it to be predictable
1:41:57 it's [ __ ]
1:41:58 maddening I'm so confused what's
1:42:01 happening right now um I'm trying to
1:42:04 think if there's a way to to make this
1:42:07 uh simple I don't think there
1:42:11 is
1:42:17 um yeah it's I I'm kind of moving fast
1:42:20 and not describing stuff so so
1:42:24 what happened
1:42:25 was I said I really liked the the sort
1:42:28 of angle like I was commenting on the
1:42:31 Angles and he said basically just add
1:42:33 Dutch angle into the prompt um and it'll
1:42:36 change up the you know the positioning
1:42:39 of the of the
1:42:40 cars um and so I just I just I just
1:42:44 created a prompt that was identical to a
1:42:46 previous one and just added the word
1:42:47 dutch angle in it that's that's all that
1:42:50 all that experiment
1:42:52 was I think that that image is actually
1:42:56 better subtle
1:42:59 upscale that one's really good too I'm
1:43:01 going to save this one and I'm going to
1:43:03 put this in oh you know what I'm going
1:43:05 to do I'm G to do another I kind of like
1:43:09 trolling the salon sometimes so I like
1:43:12 doing this on Tik Tok too
