Description
I had a blast spending Friday night hanging with my growing community of AI Irregulars. We dove deep into the joys, surprises and silliness of interacting with today's generative AI systems - especially Dall-E inside ChatGPT - and how to craft prompts to get these tools to do delightfully weird things. Constantly experimenting and playing around with AI systems seems to be the best way to learn how to speak their language and push their creative limits. Who knows where these explorations might lead us next on our journey to becoming AI literate? Join us and find out! 0:19 [Music] 0:23 bang 0:25 welcome welcome to the AI learning lab 0:29 this is Ally she's the AI learning 0:32 lab how to everybody happy Friday night 0:37 although I'm starting so late tonight 0:39 it's 0:40 probably it's 3 minutes from Midnight on 0:43 East Coast any the East coaster is in 0:46 the 0:47 house yawn yeah really tell me about it 0:50 I was out Gallery hopping tonight hence 0:54 the hip uh Gallery 0:58 shirt whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa 1:03 whoaaa Winston Hardy 1:07 joined 1:09 Phoenix hey Jim Taylor what's 1:12 happening it's a birthday 1:22 bash there's weirdness there's 1:24 irregularity going on in the Irregulars 1:28 Channel there's there's nothing new 1:36 hello Karen what's happening welcome 1:39 everybody we'll get things started here 1:41 in a few minutes we'll do it we'll do it 1:44 up let me cycle through some images here 1:48 see if I can find one that strikes my 1:56 fancy I think these are 1:59 good 2:00 you 2:02 can make 2:07 M we don't really need good spelling do 2:10 [Laughter] 2:13 we listen spelling is 2:19 overrated if you get in the neighborhood 2:21 isn't that enough I think that's 2:26 enough can you sh share the image tool 2:29 that you use that could do text but was 2:31 not ideogram yeah that's 2:33 dolly3 and if you go to 2:37 bing.com or bing.com create or chat. 2:41 bing.com all the 2:42 bing.com you just tell it to make you an 2:45 image and that's chat gpt3 and just tell 2:47 it to make you an image of a billboard 2:50 with AI learning lab on it and it will 2:52 do it 2:53 now will it spell it correctly that's a 2:57 whole another situation so you may need 3:00 to try it 20 times but I can I can show 3:02 you 3:03 that um welcome everyone so my name's 3:07 Kyle Shannon it's Friday night it was 3:09 date night we we were out Gallery 3:11 hopping that was cool went to a couple 3:14 of galleries space gallery and 3:16 then I think the other place called 3:18 artists on Santa Fe here in Denver 3:22 Colorado and uh figured I'd get in a 3:26 little Friday night 3:28 action what you want to do on a Friday 3:31 night when you're exhausted get on Tik 3:36 Tock but listen I made a commitment and 3:39 when I do that [ __ ] I [ __ ] do it so 3:43 welcome everyone feel free to share the 3:45 live we can get some people in there tap 3:47 the uh like screen let's get some likes 3:49 going and uh ask any questions you have 3:52 and and I'll I'll sort of kick things 3:53 off here we'll talk about how to get 3:55 started with this stuff if you're uh if 3:58 you're new to this stuff 4:00 and uh I'll I'll answer any questions 4:03 and then I'll I'll show uh I'll show 4:05 some Bing some dolly3 image stuff I was 4:09 playing around with it today on my uh 4:12 LinkedIn LinkedIn office hours that I do 4:15 every 4:16 Friday and uh and it it was pretty 4:20 interesting learn learned some 4:22 interesting things about 4:23 it Tobias and farmer are here welcome 4:27 both Sher Banks Nancy's here 4:30 fabulous tell Mrs Kyle thank you I 4:33 absolutely will I'm like I got to get 4:36 back for my people she's like your 4:37 people you're 4:44 people nah she likes this she knows when 4:46 I get into [ __ ] there's no stopping me 4:49 it's just just how it 4:51 goes welcome to Chad 4:54 add when we go into hyperfocus tunnels 4:57 we we go we go 4:59 hard for me with stuff like this it's 5:02 also like if I don't just make it a job 5:05 if I don't say every night I'm going to 5:08 [ __ ] do it then it'll just fizzle out 5:11 so this way it ain't going to fizzle out 5:13 for at least some amount of 5:16 time how about voice AI we can talk 5:19 about that too D dude anti- aai feelings 5:22 are getting wild I'm in total hiding so 5:25 listen toast post here's the deal um I 5:28 get it and what's fascinating to me is 5:33 some of the folks that I that I you know 5:35 work with or you know or are you know 5:38 sort of colleagues with now that are the 5:40 most into this are the ones that were 5:42 the most afraid of it or the most 5:43 hostile toward it and and then they 5:46 tried it and so you 5:50 know I would not try hard to convert 5:53 anyone um because this isn't [ __ ] 5:57 religion but but 6:00 you know what I would what I would say 6:02 is 6:03 um if you can understand who someone is 6:06 and what they're interested in and you 6:08 can just say well here's some [ __ ] I did 6:09 here and just get them curious about it 6:12 and let them try it I mean it it really 6:14 is one of those things where I think 6:16 every person kind of has to have their 6:18 their own Kevin McAllister moment right 6:21 this moment of like you know the moment 6:23 that you obviously had right if you're 6:25 like trying to tell people particularly 6:27 if you've got creative friends artists 6:29 writers things like that I have a a pile 6:33 of people that I used to do theater with 6:36 that are just they were [ __ ] weird 6:39 when I was getting into the worldwide 6:41 web in the mid90s and they're weird with 6:44 this AI [ __ ] and it's just you know 6:46 that's just that's just the way it is 6:47 and and like where I've gotten is like 6:50 well I'll find my own [ __ ] weirdos so 6:53 let's let's jump into 6:56 um let's jump into where to start with 6:58 this stuff and then and then I'll I'll 7:01 talk a little bit about that because 7:02 like I get I get the frustration trying 7:05 to talk to people about it and you're 7:06 like but it's amazing and they're like 7:07 it's going to kill us I hate it it's 7:09 evil it steals you're an [ __ ] so so 7:12 those aren't your people right now you 7:14 need to find other weirdos so so I'll 7:17 tell you um toast post we'll start we'll 7:20 start at the end here where I normally 7:23 end so the AI Salon that the uh the 7:26 salon. a is the is the link tree to it 7:29 but it's the AI Salon um this is a 7:32 community I 7:33 started um last December so it's coming 7:36 up on a year so we have a Discord server 7:39 you can hang out you can do mid Journey 7:40 images you can ask questions post [ __ ] 7:44 um it's fun and then we meet every other 7:47 week so our next meeting is this coming 7:50 Tuesday and um and it's cool and it's 7:55 it's full of people that digital 7:57 agencies and then I didn't think in my 8:00 lifetime there would be another thing as 8:02 profound as the worldwide web and Along 8:05 Comes this 8:06 [ __ ] so I am I am in the middle of a a a 8:10 second personal coming uh just 8:14 recognizing how lucky we are to be at 8:16 the beginning of something like what's 8:18 going on with generative AI um so if 8:21 you're new to it and haven't played with 8:23 it I strongly encourage you go there 8:27 just that top one chat. open.com just go 8:30 there right now don't wait don't be like 8:32 I'll get to it tomorrow no no here's the 8:34 deal you don't need to be technical it's 8:36 like as simple as a Google box you're on 8:39 Tik Tok if you figured out how to scroll 8:41 in Tik Tok doing [ __ ] here is easier 8:44 than 8:45 that Tik tok's a horrible interface 8:47 there's just too much [ __ ] on it this 8:49 thing's just a box you put words in it 8:53 so go there and ask it to do [ __ ] ask it 8:56 to write you a song ask it to write you 8:58 a poem ask it to write you a project 8:59 project plan ask it to come up with a a 9:03 meal uh set of recipes for your family 9:06 for the week using certain 9:09 ingredients and just go see what it does 9:11 just go start playing while while you 9:12 listen to me 9:14 ramble what' you do Friday night I don't 9:17 know I kind of listen to some old guy 9:20 ramble about AI why would you do that I 9:24 don't 9:25 know have you tried AI well I have now 9:28 because he told me to you listen to him 9:31 so just do it it's the worst that could 9:33 [ __ ] happen people make fun of you 9:35 toast post is is getting all sorts of 9:38 push back he's still going he's he's 9:41 he's nearly 9:43 broken but just go there and then if 9:46 you've used some of these things here 9:48 these are the top four these are the 9:49 ones that I think are worth paying 9:50 attention to for the next year or two or 9:54 three these ones are going to be around 9:57 first one's chat GPT the second one's 9:59 Google that's going to get much better 10:00 in a couple of weeks when they launch 10:01 gemini or however many weeks I don't 10:04 know they have intimated that it's going 10:05 to be soon and open aai has a big 10:08 developer conference November 6 so my 10:10 suspicion is they'll launch something to 10:12 try to [ __ ] that up because that's how 10:14 big companies do it they're like [ __ ] 10:15 you no [ __ ] you and then Claude that's a 10:19 big competitor to open AI it's a it's a 10:22 a number of exop aai employees that 10:24 founded it they just got $4 billion from 10:27 Amazon and then Bing down there that's 10:29 Microsoft they invested $1 billion in 10:32 open AI so so these are some biggies 10:35 these are the players these are the 10:36 players now who's that's the adults 10:39 table here's the Kids 10:40 Table no slouch right here piie if you 10:44 get the IOS app of Pi 10:48 Pi put it into voice mode and start 10:51 talking to your AI it's mind-blowing 10:53 it's wild it's not good at all if you 10:56 want to get [ __ ] done like on the 10:58 computer like the website 11:00 version if you're like trying to do 11:02 something like chat it's not good for 11:04 that but if you want to talk to one of 11:05 these things it's really good at that um 11:08 perplexity AI is really good good for 11:11 research labs. perplexity is a free 11:14 hosting of meta's llama 2 models they're 11:17 free models and then PO is a really 11:22 interesting sort of hybrid Beast where 11:24 you can play with different models you 11:25 can make robots ah I got my llama thank 11:28 you Winston 11:30 I I love me some llama llama's tasty I 11:33 like 11:34 llama 11:36 llama llama 11:39 um so yeah so pose interesting all right 11:43 um what else is interesting you're like 11:44 but Kyle can't we make pictures yeah you 11:46 can make pictures here's your picture 11:49 makers um 11:52 bing.com create that's actually Dolly 3 11:55 now the quality of image creation at 11:58 Bing went from like 12:00 nonusable crap to really good um Mid 12:04 Journey if you want high quality images 12:07 is kind of the best in terms of quality 12:09 of art um dolly3 which I'll I'll demo in 12:13 a bit inside chat GPT cuz I have I got 12:16 access to it cuz I don't know well cuz 12:20 uh uh retr 12:21 Punk got me a little uh a little form to 12:25 fill out and I got access to it so thank 12:27 you retr punk for that but 12:30 um it can 12:33 do I I experimented with this this 12:35 afternoon you can put a bunch of very 12:38 specific things in a prompt and it will 12:40 include them in the image it's it's 12:42 really quite quite remarkable that way 12:45 it also does text 12:51 ideagen fill in Photoshop from Adobe are 12:55 both good they have not been trained on 12:58 on copy written images so if you work 13:01 for a company use the Adobe [ __ ] it'll 13:03 be safer just from a you know the 13:06 lawyers and Executives breathing down 13:08 your ass um and then the other one 13:12 that's not on here that I I should 13:13 probably put on here is Leonardo 13:15 doai as in Leonardo da Vinci so those 13:19 are those here are the video ones Runway 13:22 ml is the top one 13:26 haen um the video translate tool on haen 13:29 again is truly remarkable um Skybox 13:32 blockade Labs is text to 3D worlds and 13:35 then did is synthesized voice and 13:38 animated pitches so screenshot 13:42 that come on go ahead screenshot it 13:46 screen you can do it you can do it and 13:49 then these are just 13:51 um resources so future pedia iio and 13:56 there's an AI for that are directories 13:59 then Ethan mullik David Shapiro and Paul 14:02 rer are people that I think we should 14:05 all be following well by we I mean 14:08 anyone interested in this [ __ ] if you 14:11 want to understand how this is going to 14:12 impact work or what the future looks 14:14 like or how to deal with this in a 14:16 company all these guys have very 14:18 interesting things to contribute all 14:21 right I I all right good 14:26 um trying to think what else I think 14:28 that's it that's it that's it now let's 14:31 go play let me go play with something 14:33 here someone asked me 14:36 about 14:38 um it was images and then what was the 14:41 other thing someone asked me how about 14:42 oh voice AI That's Right Jim Taylor 14:46 okay so I'm going to go to bing.com 14:49 first so 14:51 bing.com I'm G to see if I can I think I 14:54 can probably make an image from here 14:58 um make an image 15:04 of a high 15:08 ball glass of whiskey on the rocks in a 15:12 smoky dimly lit 15:18 bar no okay so you got to go to chat 15:21 okay so let me copy this I'm going to 15:25 flip over to 15:28 chat did it did it already do it okay it 15:31 it so when I flipped over to chat it 15:33 automatically popped it in there and it 15:34 says I'll try to create that so now it's 15:37 going to make 15:41 it and there they are the glass itself 15:45 is smoking your sir sir your Whiskey's 15:49 on fire put it out quick drink 15:51 [Laughter] 15:56 it I didn't I didn't mean for the bar to 15:59 be on fire I just want it to be like 16:05 hazy it's like it's like the art 16:07 director was 16:10 High um but anyway pretty good stuff all 16:13 right so let's go back out um go back 16:17 out here let's 16:18 say um those are a 16:23 little those are a little too Smokey 16:27 period and I'd like there to 16:30 be the 16:35 words Hazy 16:37 Days rendered out of the 16:46 smoke uh where did it why did it where 16:50 did it 16:53 go there's a little bit too much smoke 16:56 but I'd like there to be 17:01 a table card on the 17:04 bar that 17:13 says half price whiskey 17:19 tonight all right let's see if we can 17:21 get it to let's see if we can get it to 17:23 do some text we'll see if we can get it 17:25 to do some text text text so this is 17:27 Dolly 3 with within 17:33 Bing and we'll see how it 17:42 does Claud is incredible for talking to 17:44 screen plays absolutely agree with that 17:46 I've done it with four of my screen 17:48 plays 17:49 now um it's 17:52 amazing oh it did it let's see let's see 17:54 if it got the text even remotely right 17:57 half price whiskey it got it completely 18:00 right wait half yeah that's pretty 18:04 slick half pry whiskey close 18:08 close half price whiskey tonight look at 18:12 that that's so cool so so that's Dolly 3 18:15 in bing for free so you can just go 18:17 there so if you go to bing.com create 18:20 that's the um the just the pure image 18:23 Creator tool but you can also in Bing 18:26 chat just do that so I'm going to go to 18:33 create the downside of using Bing is 18:38 that the safety guard rails on it are 18:40 pretty pretty egregious okay so that's 18:42 that one so now what we're going to do 18:44 is we're going to hop over to chat 18:46 JPay you can make money with chat 18:50 [Laughter] 18:52 J and we're going to do a new chat so 18:55 here we are at chat 18:57 J and let me see if I got access to 19:02 upload images yet not yet there's still 19:04 some [ __ ] I don't have access to and 19:06 that's one of them I think that's the 19:07 only thing I don't have access to so 19:09 anyway so look browse with Bing is back 19:12 so if you don't see this in your gp4 go 19:16 to your settings and go to Beta features 19:19 and and see if this is available there 19:21 you might have to turn it on so we got 19:23 regular chat GPT that's going to have 19:25 Vision soon for all of us I don't have 19:28 that yet 19:29 browse with Bing connects chat GPT to 19:31 the internet Advanced Data analysis this 19:34 used to be called code interpreter it's 19:36 [ __ ] remarkable plugins are Hit or 19:39 Miss but there's some good ones that 19:40 make it at least worth learning about 19:42 and then Dolly 3 is really quite 19:44 remarkable so let's play with some Dolly 19:47 3 19:51 stuff um all right so so one thing that 19:55 I discovered this afternoon and this is 19:58 in the 20:00 um this is in 20:04 the the announcement of doll 3 is that 20:07 it's really good at at prompt coherence 20:10 I think is what they called it basically 20:12 meaning if you mention a lot of things 20:16 in um in your prompt it's good at 20:20 putting them 20:23 together all right so what are we going 20:25 to do here we're going to 20:27 go 20:32 create an image of a large 20:36 blueprint on a drafting table near a 20:40 window with sun shining down on it 20:44 period within the 20:49 drawing 20:52 are 20:54 technical sketches of a drill 20:59 an oil can an electrical plug a credit 21:05 card a bottle of 21:07 Windex a Staples easy button and an 21:11 Apple Magic 21:16 Mouse I have no idea how good this is 21:19 going to go and if you're wondering Kyle 21:22 that sounds like [ __ ] that's on your 21:24 desk you'd be 21:27 correct 21:29 Jim Ross been playing with dolly for a 21:31 few hours tonight holy hell crazy EXA I 21:34 know it's wild oh so anyway so so check 21:37 out what this did so I wrote The Prompt 21:39 up here right and then it re it wrote 21:42 four different prompts right so photo of 21:45 a large blueprint spread out on a wooden 21:47 grafting table and then it put all the 21:49 stuff that I have there 21:52 um there we 21:54 go so let's look at how we 21:57 did there's the Windex it's this is this 22:01 is Windex red I don't you probably don't 22:03 know Windex 22:05 red that's just that's just because 22:07 you're a loser everybody knows Windex 22:10 red who's who's in the thank you Tyler 22:14 if you don't know Windex red you just 22:15 you don't know window cleaning um 22:18 there's our drill there's our 22:21 iPhone what else did I 22:24 say an oil can is there an oil can no 22:29 there's an iPhone being charged over 22:31 there but that's pretty slick okay so 22:35 there's the Magic 22:37 Mouse it's it's a sort 22:40 of 2001 Magic Mouse it's not it's it's 22:44 still got the scroll wheel in it um 22:47 that's sort of an oil can there's the 22:49 drill there's the Windex there's the 22:51 credit 22:53 card that's the easy button it didn't it 22:55 doesn't quite know what a a Staples easy 22:58 button is is but that's okay and 23:01 actually look how good the uh this Apple 23:04 keyboard is with the exception of that's 23:07 not the shape of the return key on an 23:08 Apple keyboard but that's pretty 23:10 slick um and notice I asked for a window 23:13 with the light streaming in on it so 23:16 that's 23:19 happening so that's pretty cool so 23:24 now so if I say 23:27 um 23:29 I really like those conceptually but I 23:31 wanted the blueprint to have that 23:34 classic blueprint color can you adjust 23:37 it so it looks more 23:43 authentic and then it just basically 23:46 just fires that off as a plugin and then 23:48 writes its own 23:52 prompts and what what I find remarkable 23:55 about this 23:57 is this this feels essentially exactly 24:00 like working with an art director like 24:02 this is what it's like to work with an 24:04 art director except you with an art 24:06 director you give them these notes and 24:08 then they go away for an hour or two or 24:10 a day or two or a week or two and then 24:13 they come back with with a round you're 24:15 like well no that wasn't quite right and 24:17 then right and so now we have blueprints 24:20 that are actually 24:23 blue um can I zoom in on this 24:27 no 24:29 they're not really blueprints but 24:31 they're they're kind of cool they're 24:32 kind of stylized blueprints aren't they 24:34 like that would make a really 24:35 interesting 24:41 ad 24:42 [Music] 24:51 um this is great I'd like this to be a 24:54 magazine ad where the headline 24:57 is designing products for everyday 25:01 life 25:13 period Please incorporate that as if it 25:16 were a magazine headline on top of the 25:21 image let's see let's see let's how 25:23 let's see how she do let's see if she 25:26 understands magazine 25:29 typography a turtle 25:32 smoker y are 25:33 [Laughter] 25:55 weirdos you could make money with if 26:00 it's like the reverse of a 26:06 drop designing products for everyday 26:09 life not quite what I had in mind oh I 26:12 didn't write everyday as a single word 26:14 did I I'm the loser not chat J chat J 26:19 winner Kyle loser look Windex 26:27 red 26:29 designing products for everyday life 26:32 designing prods for ever day life 26:38 designing products so it's actually you 26:40 know they're not 26:41 bad they're not bad wasn't quite what I 26:45 had in mind like I wanted the text 26:46 floating on top of that so that that'd 26:49 be something i' I'd have to go back 26:51 on but but okay so this not for nothing 26:54 that's pretty remarkable that that level 26:56 of coherence is in there 26:58 um let me start a new chat I'll do 27:00 something completely different here this 27:01 is this is a thing I've been playing 27:03 around 27:04 with 27:12 um I'm trying to come up with a 27:14 marketing 27:16 campaign for my company that 27:23 sells nuts and 27:25 bolts to home tinker 27:32 period I want you to act as an 27:35 awardwinning creative director and come 27:38 up with five Creative Marketing 27:45 strategies in a single short paragraph 27:49 each period I don't want you to 27:51 visualize anything yet I just want you 27:53 to give me 27:55 ideas and then we can talk about how to 27:58 bring them to life 28:02 period so the so the thing I've been 28:04 messing around with is you know can you 28:06 get chat GPT to actually give you ideas 28:08 come up with creative ideas then you 28:10 pick one then you start you know sort of 28:14 honing down on the idea then you start 28:16 visualizing it right because what it's 28:18 doing is it's making these im images in 28:22 the context of this larger conversation 28:25 which I find 28:26 mindblowing 28:30 there's a there there's a lot of 28:32 debauchery going on in the the 28:33 Irregulars channel in the salon Discord 28:36 right now there there are some substance 28:39 abusing llamas and turtles that I think 28:42 may need to go to a meeting 28:48 soon okay let's see nuts and bolts 28:52 Academy host a series of free online 28:54 workshops Tinker Tales launch a 28:56 storytelling campaign 28:58 where customers share their most 29:00 memorable DIY projects llama llamas is 29:04 tasty llamas have drinking problems 29:07 [Laughter] 29:09 apparently um eco-friendly Endeavors 29:12 interactive storefront nuts and bolts 29:14 challenge okay so I'm going to 29:18 say I like the nuts and bolts challenge 29:21 idea period can you come up with 29:26 five 29:28 catchy headlines for ads that 29:33 might be used in that 29:41 campaign twist turn and Triumph got the 29:44 metal for metal that's actually pretty 29:47 good join the ultimate DIY duel go 29:50 beyond boundaries or you up for a 29:51 challenge fasten your imagination 29:53 unscrew the ordinary un showcase your 29:57 creative genius today unscrew the 29:59 ordinary all right let's go with that 30:01 that's kind of like like uh here's to 30:05 the here's to the what was that Apple 30:08 campaign not the Wild Ones weird ones 30:11 here's here's to the different 30:13 ones I like number five a lot can you 30:18 please create four ads that use that 30:24 headline and 30:26 subhead 30:29 and make a photograph of the nuts and 30:33 bolts being used in a 30:38 project so again what I'm not having to 30:41 do here is think at all 30:46 about like what camera lens do I want to 30:49 use and what elements do I want in there 30:52 I can I can just let chat GPT use its 30:55 language skills to come up with [ __ ] so 30:57 let's see what it came up with photo of 31:00 a DIY Enthusiast meticulous meticulously 31:03 assembling a wooden birdhouse using 31:05 shiny nuts and bolts the headline 31:08 prominently displays unscrew the 31:09 ordinary with the subhead Showcase your 31:11 creative genius today holy [ __ ] these 31:14 are good Jesus I mean come on come on 31:18 people are you kidding me like I mean is 31:22 it perfect no but like if you just want 31:24 to do 31:25 conceptualization what did that take us 31:28 like two 31:29 minutes unscrew the ordinary not quite 31:33 spelled right 31:35 but like that's a compelling 31:39 image that's that's a little disturbing 31:42 but cool I guess the kid's legs are 31:45 under the the 31:46 [Laughter] 31:48 engine I don't know why I don't know why 31:52 okay so let's let's let's give chat GPT 31:54 some some creative feedback here like 31:57 okay 32:00 normally nuts and bolts are more 32:03 associated with metal projects than wood 32:06 projects period can 32:08 we keep the same basic idea 32:13 but have the projects look like 1950s 32:18 sci-fi using nuts and bolts 32:24 period so the creative director came 32:26 back with these you know mood boards or 32:28 whatever we're like nah it's there too 32:30 much wood we want there to be more 32:34 metal like you can be a shitty C you can 32:37 be a shitty client with chat gbt and 32:39 it's just like I mean that's the thing 32:41 about chat gbt is like it's the golden 32:43 retriever of creative Partners like it 32:46 won't get pissed off at you it won't 32:48 take it personally that you hate it 32:50 stupid wood commercials you're like I 32:52 want metal 32:53 commercials 32:56 unscrew 33:02 that's that's actually that's actually a 33:05 much better headline than unscrew the 33:08 ordinary 33:10 unscrew people would just stop at that 33:12 and go what the [ __ ] is that showcase 33:14 your creative genius today nearly 33:16 spelled correctly down 33:18 there let's 33:21 see pretty 33:24 cool yeah Father and Son working on the 33:27 cruise missile that's what I'm talking 33:32 about oh man unscrew the ordinary 33:35 showcase your creative genius today 33:37 there's not a single nut and bolt in 33:38 there so let's let's yell at them let's 33:40 yell at chat GPT for 33:44 that these are close however image 4 33:48 only 33:49 shows a big industrial control panel 33:53 period there isn't a nut and bolt 33:55 anywhere to be seen period what are you 33:58 thinking question 34:01 mark let's see if it 34:05 apologizes uh did it apologize nope just 34:09 Dove right back in no problem boss let's 34:11 go make you something so it's going to 34:13 rewrite 34:16 [Music] 34:22 it the oh God 34:26 Joker 34:28 okay I got to show you guys 34:32 this all right this is this is in the in 34:35 the AI in the AI Salon in the Irregulars 34:39 Channel 34:43 um we started out innocently enough you 34:46 know a turtle having a having a drink 34:49 and then and then there's the oops the 34:52 turtle smoker it's 34:55 cute now we got him token drinking a big 34:58 old glass of 34:59 java um can you get it to correct 35:02 spelling no I don't think so at this 35:04 point here's the llamas going nuts at 35:06 the 35:09 bar and then and then Larry the Hedgehog 35:13 getting stoned Larry was so innocent for 35:15 a week or so and now and there's Turtles 35:19 taking class and look poor 35:24 llama oh my goodness 35:29 alcohol is a gateway 35:35 drug oh my 35:40 god oh that's really 35:43 good um what happened here did this not 35:46 create I apologize for the inconvene oh 35:48 let's show you 35:50 this so some so one of the things I've 35:53 been seeing with Dolly 3 in chat GPT is 35:55 sometimes it just doesn't do [ __ ] but 35:57 I'll just just go try um try 36:02 again and it will and for the most part 36:06 it it works occasionally it will write a 36:09 prompt that it then 36:11 says violate its own safety standards 36:15 well I'm like then don't write the 36:16 [ __ ] prompt you dumb 36:22 dumb all right so that's pretty good 36:25 look what it did it's still the control 36:28 panel but it made giant nuts and bolts 36:31 like can you see the nuts now you bone 36:33 head that's actually pretty cool unscrew 36:37 the 36:38 ordinary I I mean so 36:42 look as silly as this exercise is you 36:46 know imagine the speed with which like 36:50 when you if you've ever been in the room 36:52 in a creative brainstormer with with 36:54 good creative people it's it's a really 36:57 remarkable experience cuz they they tend 37:00 to be and conversations right where 37:02 where it's not it's not someone put 37:04 something out there and someone else 37:05 goes I don't like it when you get in a 37:07 room with really good creative people 37:09 it's this building conversation what 37:10 about this they like oh that's 37:12 interesting what about this oh yeah 37:14 that's good what about this no no I 37:16 don't think so but you know what would 37:17 be good is this right and it's just it's 37:19 this additive 37:21 conversation this is kind of like doing 37:24 that like I I can just take like 37:28 stupid ideas that shouldn't see the 37:31 light of light of day put them in here 37:34 and within two or three minutes go is 37:37 there anything interesting there or 37:39 not and if there is great run down that 37:42 rabbit hole I mean 37:48 crazy the homeless llama is is the 37:51 absolute flipping best oh this is a good 37:54 one 37:55 too like I don't know if you can see it 37:59 a little newr action AI learning lab the 38:02 llama and the detective that's good and 38:04 the 38:05 [Laughter] 38:07 turtle oh yeah oh so let's go do 38:10 that we'll 38:12 do 38:17 [Applause] 38:18 um create a 50s Pulp 38:23 Fiction 38:25 cover with 38:29 with a 38:31 hedgehog a 38:33 detective a 38:35 Dame a 38:37 llama and a 38:40 turtle all 38:42 battling for 38:45 attention 38:47 period the 38:49 title of the book is AI learning 38:55 lab let's see what we get 39:10 what if you put text into prompt with 39:11 brackets with commas and no spaces it 39:14 doesn't really help so the way diffusion 39:16 models work the way the way these images 39:18 are 39:20 generated the computer is not actually 39:23 aware of what it's producing it's 39:26 basically taking a bunch of Amalgamated 39:29 noisy images and and sort of smashing 39:32 them into a single noisy image and then 39:34 Den noising it over like 30 39:37 steps and so this are pretty 39:43 [Laughter] 39:53 good that's good look at the super long 39:56 p 40:00 pistols oh my God why is there no turtle 40:04 in any of 40:08 these we're we're g to this this this 40:12 art director is just a 40:17 jerk these are 40:19 fantastic but all of them seem to be 40:22 missing a 40:23 turtle and I think it should be obvious 40:27 that a turtle should be a prominent 40:29 figure in the 40:36 story additionally there should 40:40 be a kid wearing zombie 40:46 makeup I'll just call that a period all 40:49 right we're gonna we're going to update 40:52 this I have premium how do I access 40:55 Dolly 3 Pete unplug it's it may not be 40:59 there if you go to your settings and go 41:01 to Beta features 41:05 um it like I don't think it's going to 41:08 be in beta features like when I go to 41:09 Beta features Dolly 3 is not one of the 41:11 beta features although when it's when 41:14 it's when I look at it it says beta so I 41:18 think I just have some sort of weird 41:20 Alpha access to 41:22 it let's see if we got a a zombie kit 41:25 here did we get a zom iie kid well we 41:27 got a zombie we got a green 41:30 dude AI leaning 41:35 lab AI learning lab oh no a oh that's 41:38 interesting it combined the A and the L 41:41 there's the turtle there's the zombie 41:43 kid There's a Zombie llama there's a 41:45 turtle face there's the turtlef face 41:53 villain that's pretty good did it spell 41:56 it right 41:57 yeah AI learning lab that's pretty 42:00 good that's spelled right I think we 42:03 like that one all right so we're going 42:05 to copy this wait we'll save it 42:08 as we'll go a i l l 42:13 pulp boom we're going to go over here 42:16 we're going to go here we're GNA go 42:25 here 42:27 pulp 42:29 boom 42:32 boom all 42:34 right look at there look at there 42:38 nice that needs a little love doesn't it 42:41 that needs a little edit we need a 42:44 little brightness we need some 42:47 Brilliance we need a little exposure 42:51 bump we need a little 42:54 brightness we need a little Vibrance 43:03 little contrast here there we 43:08 go very funny all 43:12 right I I I just I don't know about is 43:15 it me like I this is this is remarkable 43:18 [ __ ] is it 43:20 not anyone else like just like this all 43:24 the time with this stuff it's like I 43:27 can't I just can't I just can't 43:31 people oh God the strung out llamas I 43:34 knew it steo I knew you were gonna do 43:42 it this is what the AI learning lab 43:45 really is this is a support group for 43:48 [ __ ] weirdos trying to figure this 43:51 [ __ ] 43:53 out oh my God 43:58 I knew someone was going to go 43:59 [Laughter] 44:03 there look at Lun 44:05 stick wait it's still plugged in 44:11 um come 44:14 on how about you go [ __ ] yourself 44:18 huh we don't make fun of turtles in here 44:25 [ __ ] 44:27 oh man all right this is good fun y'all 44:31 y'all are funny now that now that we got 44:33 wait till we get multimedia [ __ ] where 44:35 where we're in here you know making 44:37 making oh that was a John Hughes moment 44:40 that's great that that's a total John 44:42 Hugh's moment that's good um we should 44:45 do office space we should do all the 44:47 classic movies in Turtles llamas 44:49 hedgehogs and zombies and whatever the 44:52 [ __ ] else we come up 44:53 with 44:55 um all right so let's see I'm up late 44:59 working on Unreal Engine 5 VR de 45:01 development any specific AI suggestions 45:06 um no I mean I assume you've played 45:10 with Amelia's wife excuse me we are not 45:14 weirdos we are Irregulars 45:17 goodbye that's awesome 45:21 um if I I assume you've played with um 45:27 blockade Labs let me this is this 45:30 is this is low rent compared to you know 45:34 what you're doing but I have seen people 45:38 playing with um the two together in kind 45:42 of interesting ways um hang on let me go 45:45 there so if you go to Skybox blad 45:48 labs.com 45:52 it will bring you to apparently nowhere 45:56 can we please have the Internet working 45:59 is the internet 46:02 broken what's happening here can y'all 46:05 hear me you can still hear me good 46:11 yeah I think I think our yeah got the 46:14 hearty 46:18 [Music] 46:19 Hearts what's happening what's 46:25 happening 46:36 your connection to this site isn't 46:38 secure well so 46:41 what I don't mind getting 46:47 hacked why is it blocking 46:55 that 47:00 huh weird let me go to 47:04 Chrome man Microsoft Microsoft their 47:07 internet shit's just getting 47:12 weird uh uh uh 47:18 Skybox labs.com 47:37 what is the weirdness an error occur oh 47:41 it looks like there sights down okay 47:44 that makes better 47:45 sense all right they've been hacked by 47:48 the 47:50 AI the robots are going to kill us you 47:53 are all right we're in trouble 47:59 um wait I want to but while we're in 48:01 here I'm going to save this image too 48:02 because this is a good one I like this 48:04 one too look curious llama that was 48:07 pretty good A I L 48:10 L 48:11 pulp 48:22 two oh this was a fun add moment last 48:25 night so I'm at this CEO 48:28 event cuz you know being a big CEO and 48:32 all 48:36 um I'm at this I'm at this um CEO event 48:41 and part of the event 48:43 is everyone that's at the event like 48:45 gets up on this little stage and 48:46 announces themselves and what's their 48:48 ask of the community right so it's like 48:49 a half hour you have to stand there and 48:51 you go up and you introduce yourself and 48:52 then you have to stand there while 48:53 everyone else introduces themselves when 48:55 you have 80 D it drives you [ __ ] 48:57 crazy so so I'm standing 49:00 there I'm standing there next to this 49:03 woman I've been chatting to and I'm just 49:05 like like leaning back and forth on my 49:07 hips and I'm twisting and I'm just like 49:09 having my own little dance moment like 49:12 not consciously like I wasn't dancing I 49:15 was just having like add I'm bored as 49:18 [ __ ] I got to do something with my body 49:19 moments and at some point she just like 49:22 smacked my arm and 49:24 went com 49:28 down she gave me a bing she was like 49:31 Sydney she was like have a good night 49:37 goodbye oh good lord uh so anyway 49:42 um blockade Labs is text to 3D World um 49:46 Tyler the utopian if you're still here 49:49 um but it's all all it's doing is 49:51 creating um a 2D image that they then 49:54 wrap around a sphere but what I've seen 49:56 is that people are creating these these 49:58 3D you know spheres in blockade labs 50:03 they bring them into Unreal Engine and 50:05 they put objects in them and so you can 50:06 actually kind of walk around in those 50:08 worlds so I would imagine that you could 50:10 probably string a bunch of those 50:13 together and do something interesting 50:15 one of your women has to wear a yellow 50:17 flower brooch uh Al Al ao's wife oh 50:19 that's a great idea that's really good 50:22 that's really good okay we'll do that um 50:27 that's a good one Silver Fox I like it 50:30 man getting it to teach me how to 50:32 program assembly while talking like 50:35 Backwoods Yoko is my favorite right now 50:38 yeah yeah yeah I like them taters mm I 50:42 like the program in binary could you 50:44 help me with that let me see let's go 50:47 see I assume it can do that pretty 50:54 seamlessly new chat I'm going to go gpt3 50:57 cuz it's 50:58 faster 51:03 um I'd like to 51:07 create a python application of a Flappy 51:10 Bird's clone can you do 51:18 that I'd like you to actually program 51:20 the python code 51:24 though 51:26 okay there's python of Flappy 51:37 Birds awesome could you refactor that 51:39 into Assembly Language please and 51:41 explain to me what the sections 51:52 do it's doing 51:54 it 51:58 Kyle you have cardboard in 52:03 here that's right so I wore these I wore 52:07 these shoes tonight that totally cut up 52:09 my feet I left the cardboard in them 52:11 they were new shoes no wonder they felt 52:13 like [ __ ] that's pretty 52:17 funny um okay so now we're going to 52:20 go what I really want to program that in 52:23 is uh machine code or binary can you go 52:28 from assembly to Binary for 52:32 me this should be interesting creating a 52:36 Flappy Bird g game in pure machine code 52:38 wait what's it 52:40 say is a highly complex task and T 52:43 typically not practical for modern game 52:45 development due the intricacies writing 52:47 a game like FL Flappy Bird directly 52:49 machine code binary would be extremely 52:51 timec consuming and error prone um let 52:55 me see 52:57 what's the lowest level language that it 52:59 might be practical to write a Flappy 53:01 Bird's clone 53:05 in uh uh uh uh what's it say the lowest 53:10 practical one would be Assembly Language 53:13 for specific CPU 53:15 architecture there you go anyway yeah 53:18 there you go Japan is covered in QR 53:20 codes it's amazing oh retr punks in uh 53:22 in Japan right now oh that's so cool yo 53:26 isn't it amazing like QR codes were just 53:28 a [ __ ] joke for a decade and a half 53:31 like they were just useless nobody knew 53:33 how to use them I remember going to CES 53:36 one year and there was this this giant 53:40 display for Toyota and it and it was 53:42 like um it was like learn about the new 53:46 car and had a giant QR code there and 53:48 I'm like oh God I keep seeing these QR 53:50 codes let me use it and so I download 53:53 whatever app could read QR code codes 53:55 cuz it wasn't built into the operating 53:57 system yet I I it does the QR code and 54:00 then it and then it um goes off 54:04 and it takes me to 54:08 toyota.com like it it was it had nothing 54:10 to do with this booth it had nothing to 54:13 do with the car like it was just it was 54:16 the worst 54:17 [ __ ] thing like like just it and like 54:20 they spent a lot of money on this and 54:22 like no one from the Ad Agency or no one 54:24 from the company [ __ ] clicked on the 54:27 the thing like you know did it scanned 54:29 it and said this doesn't make any sense 54:32 and then Co happened and like we all had 54:34 to learn how to use QR codes so we could 54:37 you know read our menu our menus at our 54:40 restaurants it's like all of a sudden QR 54:43 codes are cool again so that's amazing I 54:47 hope you're having fun over there retr 54:48 punk I shouted you out earlier cuz uh 54:51 you know someone was like how did you 54:52 get Dolly 3 you [ __ ] I'm like I got 54:55 friends I got friends in high places 54:57 well at least in 54:59 Japan um all right uh thanks development 55:03 in unreal 5 is a lot of connecting using 55:06 blueprints so it makes it harder to use 55:08 AI oh yeah so so I think what's going to 55:10 happen Tyler the utopian I'm sure 55:12 there's projects working on this I think 55:15 every one of the single you know 55:17 radically 55:18 complicated um game development 3D 55:22 modeling CAD software all that stuff 55:25 that's this Super Hyper complicated you 55:28 know work streams and things like that 55:31 we'll start to get AI layers sitting on 55:33 top of them that handle all the 55:35 complexities underneath so you'll just 55:36 be doing command line up here or you 55:39 know just natural language up here and 55:43 it'll be taken care of all the [ __ ] down 55:44 below that's if you look at what um uh 55:48 chat or what do they call it co-pilot in 55:50 Windows 11 is doing that's effectively 55:52 what it's doing there so I think we're 55:54 going to start to see natural language 55:56 inter interfaces sitting on top of lots 55:58 of complex software and it's going to be 56:01 good it's going to be good for all of us 56:03 cuz we can just do our [ __ ] without 56:04 having to learn all this 56:08 crap AI learning lab AA minky 56:14 Hedgehog curious 56:19 llama that's super cool that is super 56:23 cool 56:24 people 56:25 [Music] 56:28 OMG what was the 56:30 OMG can can we now all add python coding 56:33 to our resumees yes as a matter of fact 56:38 you can wait wife is giving me what was 56:40 what was that the wife's giving you the 56:42 eye she's like what are you doing on a 56:43 Friday night why are you hanging out 56:44 with that 56:47 loser giving me the eye roll time to go 56:49 thanks for everything see you Jim Ross 56:52 yeah I got one too but you know I got I 56:54 got another what time is it is it 11:00 56:56 it's probably 11: isn't it yep I'll do 56:59 another I'll do another 20 minutes [ __ ] 57:01 it I don't 57:08 care seriously 57:11 though you can make money 57:20 with leaving cardboard in the shoes is 57:23 textbook ADHD 57:25 I put she's she's like here's these new 57:27 shoes I I'm like great and I put them on 57:30 I'm like these are definitely like 57:32 fakers from China I have never had shoes 57:34 feel this bad I walked around in them 57:35 all night with cardboard cutting into my 57:39 skin still didn't notice it I just 57:42 kicked him 57:45 off ah well what are you gonna 57:49 do oh man AI learning llamas to the 57:53 rescue oh wait what's going on over here 57:54 in the 57:56 oh cool nice we like 57:58 toles Oh that's oh you're starting to do 58:00 different movies this is 58:03 cool Shaun of the Dead nice The Lego 58:07 Movie I think Ninja Turtles 58:11 [Laughter] 58:13 nice I don't know what happened recreate 58:16 Shaun of the Dead but it's Turtles 58:17 instead of humans and VOA yeah these are 58:21 cool 58:24 look 58:26 Sean of the 58:27 Dead is it up wait no here's another 58:34 [Laughter] 58:42 one now now here here's the other thing 58:45 that I think is I think what we're doing 58:48 here this just making silly images and 58:52 stupid images I think this 58:54 experimentation 58:56 is actually really valuable for all of 58:59 us because the tools are so new and like 59:05 how to manipulate them and how to use 59:07 them and how to get them to do what you 59:09 want and even just like thinking like oh 59:11 yeah like we could recreate movie scenes 59:13 and then just running down that rabbit 59:15 hole 59:17 um it 59:19 is at some point you're going to you're 59:22 going to be in a situation where 59:23 someone's going to go you know I really 59:25 need an image 59:26 of and you're going to go I know how to 59:28 make 59:29 that and uh that's that's that's some 59:32 pretty magical [ __ ] QRS were not being 59:35 used for a long time because it took 59:38 really mathematicians to correct for 59:41 blank wait what's that say for 59:45 blank I guess for blank somethings blank 59:49 URLs blank blanks in the image um yeah I 59:54 know like yeah I guess I guess that 59:56 could have been it but it was also just 59:59 I like marketers that I knew just could 1:00:01 not figure out they could not understand 1:00:04 the concept of a 1:00:07 URL it was it was always just astounding 1:00:10 to me um but I think we've got it now 1:00:15 um reading that writing on scre screen 1:00:18 is very funny might not be Port might 1:00:21 not be as portable yeah you could say 1:00:24 that well wife has giving me the ey roll 1:00:26 gotta go that's poor Jim Jim got picked 1:00:29 on well Jim was Jim was in my afternoon 1:00:31 session on LinkedIn today and then he 1:00:33 was here so I'm sure the wife's like uh 1:00:35 dude like could spend some time with the 1:00:38 family really smart there's small spaces 1:00:40 in the QR codes that were causing them 1:00:43 to be read incorrectly oh interesting 1:00:45 wild 1:00:47 um huh and now they have you seen all 1:00:51 the uh there's a uh where's that 1:00:57 site did I bookmark it probably not 1:01:00 thanks 1:01:01 add unique 1:01:05 teas nah I didn't bookmark it there's a 1:01:08 cool someone built one of those things 1:01:10 where you can upload an image and then 1:01:12 it will incorporate it 1:01:16 into wait where did I do one of those 1:01:21 um did I do one on my slack Channel 1:01:26 hold hold 1:01:29 please there may be a place I did 1:01:41 this no it was not there maybe it was in 1:01:44 general 1:01:49 [Music] 1:01:52 work there's my big fat head 1:01:55 there's my big fat 1:02:01 head you know you shouldn't talk to 1:02:04 yourself so disparagingly yeah 1:02:08 yeah what have should have could 1:02:11 have I can't find it anyway the there 1:02:15 there's uh you can you can basically 1:02:16 turn QR codes into all sorts of cool 1:02:18 images now oh there's a that's really 1:02:22 cool um Whata call it 1:02:26 Pulp Fiction wait 1:02:29 no is it Pulp Fiction is this Pulp 1:02:32 Fiction no yes no I think 1:02:38 [Laughter] 1:02:44 so pretty 1:02:47 funny pretty funny pretty funny pretty 1:02:50 funny pretty funny pretty funny Friday 1:02:54 afternoons on LinkedIn or at what time 1:02:57 uh Firefly there at 400 p.m. Eastern 2: 1:03:00 p.m. mountain where I do them from so if 1:03:04 you go to LinkedIn go to my profile and 1:03:08 then it's every Friday at at 4M Eastern 1:03:12 it's called AI office hours with Kyle 1:03:17 [Laughter] 1:03:20 Shannon and it's cool what what's cool 1:03:22 about that one is it's it's it's just 1:03:24 kind of like a zoom meeting we just kind 1:03:26 of chat and shoot the [ __ ] and like 1:03:28 today I demoed Dolly 3 inside gp4 kind 1:03:32 of like I did here and then we talked 1:03:34 about some other [ __ ] it was it was 1:03:35 pretty cool it pretty fun 1:03:39 meeting canva does wait oh Tick Tock Tik 1:03:43 Tok jump me to the 1:03:44 bottom why do you do that Tick Tock it 1:03:47 makes me annoyed I'm a liner I got di 1:03:51 particular 1:03:53 lers oh 1:03:57 oh all 1:04:00 [Laughter] 1:04:02 right God love you Mrs Kyle all right 1:04:06 people people taking pity for the misses 1:04:09 now I know it's rough it's rough being 1:04:12 married to me I would think I so I've 1:04:16 [Laughter] 1:04:22 heard um 1:04:26 all right let's 1:04:31 [Music] 1:04:35 see depends on the architecture but yeah 1:04:38 it would be the 1:04:40 lowest no need to speak AI llamas to the 1:04:45 rescue where am I reading the writing on 1:04:48 okay we see 1:04:52 that I'm not nearly as optimist about 1:04:55 what Pate what are you not optimistic 1:04:58 about my husband's been asleep for an 1:05:01 hour so lunar stick's good she she's 1:05:03 like I can [ __ ] hang 1:05:06 out other people like I'm not 1:05:10 enough oh Kyle keep talking I'm gonna I 1:05:13 need to go to 1:05:16 sleep um first satellite also operating 1:05:20 on AI base um really smart there's small 1:05:23 spaces in the Q 1:05:26 okay uh AI learning lab is family it 1:05:30 actually really is it is getting to be 1:05:32 very family likee which is cool I like 1:05:34 it oh that was Men in Black no it wasn't 1:05:37 Men In Black Reservoir llamas oh 1:05:40 Reservoir 1:05:41 [Laughter] 1:05:44 llamas that's 1:05:46 good 1:05:48 um single image 1:05:53 Laura oh the one with the QR code things 1:05:56 yeah it's it's sort of single image 1:05:58 Laura it's there someone made a site 1:06:00 where you can just log into the website 1:06:02 upload an image to it and then but I 1:06:04 forget where it was I didn't bookmark it 1:06:05 cuz loser I'm a loser 1:06:09 baby listen 1:06:11 listen I'm not saying you're slow in the 1:06:14 uptake but uh you left the cardboard in 1:06:18 your new shoes and went to an event 1:06:21 tonight you see what I'm saying this is 1:06:25 not 1:06:26 normal it's not normal 1:06:29 behavior why didn't you take off the 1:06:31 shoes if they felt that 1:06:35 bad it's a good question solid 1:06:40 question this lives in the neighborhood 1:06:42 of what are your qualifications 1:06:45 sir pray tell pray tell what makes you 1:06:49 think you can teach anyone 1:06:53 anything 1:06:57 ludus AI looks promising as a tool for 1:06:59 unreal development like you talked about 1:07:01 just join the weight list that's 1:07:03 interesting 1:07:07 ludus lud us 1:07:12 AI revolutionize game development with 1:07:15 Unreal Engine Innovative AI game powered 1:07:17 development tool for Unreal Engine 1:07:19 designed to boost productivity and 1:07:20 enhance game design through powerful 1:07:22 plugins and automation yeah this this is 1:07:24 exactly the 1:07:26 [ __ ] this is exactly the [ __ ] I'll sign 1:07:29 up for the wait list for this because 1:07:31 because fill out this field what's it 1:07:33 say I can't read my I'm old um 1:07:39 Kyle okay you young 1:07:42 designers here's my request to you stop 1:07:46 designing [ __ ] with teeny tiny letters 1:07:48 in incredibly low contrast colors like 1:07:52 dark gray on black in tiny letters is 1:07:54 like [ __ ] 1:07:58 you I think I think in that context 1:08:01 meant not optimistic at being able to do 1:08:03 my work via natural language oh no yeah 1:08:06 I I would I would agree with that P what 1:08:09 I'm talking about more is is like things 1:08:12 like CAD programs where where you've got 1:08:15 you know a a whole set of logical things 1:08:18 or things like um 1:08:20 Salesforce right where you've got you're 1:08:23 doing the same operation over and over 1:08:25 again these repetitive operations in 1:08:27 this Byzantine unnecessarily complicated 1:08:31 interface think Unity think Unreal 1:08:34 Engine um you know all the all the uh 1:08:39 you know multimedia the high-end video 1:08:41 things like Da Vinci resolve Motion 1:08:43 Graphics all that sort of hyper 1:08:46 complicated software where you're 1:08:48 connecting nodes and like all of that 1:08:51 stuff is stuff that the machine can 1:08:53 learn the whole interface like you don't 1:08:55 need to learn it anymore you don't need 1:08:57 to learn the intricacies of what you 1:08:59 need to stick together so I think I 1:09:02 think in structured tools like that um 1:09:05 is is where this automation is going to 1:09:06 be happening wish I were snoozing I'm at 1:09:09 the pharmacy packing orders well I mean 1:09:12 the good news there hair growth geek is 1:09:14 that you're packing orders like at least 1:09:16 you're selling some [ __ ] I had a shitty 1:09:18 third quarter we couldn't [ __ ] sell a 1:09:21 thing it's like oh my God cuz some 1:09:24 please [ __ ] return an email or a 1:09:27 phone call anyone it's like I think 1:09:31 people have just done checked out anyone 1:09:33 else experiencing the 1:09:38 [ __ ] driving me [ __ ] 1:09:41 crazy 1:09:44 um down in the mud good evening good 1:09:47 evening to you good evening to you did 1:09:50 you leave the price tags on too no those 1:09:52 were gone listen I'm not a 1:09:57 heathen um you should have Dolly draw a 1:10:00 termite choking on the splinters oh 1:10:02 that's a pretty good one we can do 1:10:10 that I'd like to 1:10:13 create a movie poster of a horror 1:10:18 film where the primary image is a 1:10:20 termite choking on splinters period 1:10:24 before you make the image give me 10 1:10:27 good titles for a 1:10:31 film where wood is genetically 1:10:37 modified 1:10:39 to choke the termites that eat 1:10:43 [Laughter] 1:10:45 it all right let's see what oh I'm in 1:10:48 gpt3 crap damn it like let's do this in 1:10:52 gp4 I want I want good writing so this 1:10:54 is one of the things to do if you've got 1:10:56 gp4 use gp4 for good writing use GPT 3.5 1:11:02 for fast riding oh wait 1:11:06 sorry splintered breath Timbers Revenge 1:11:09 that's pretty good modified malice 1:11:12 termites demise Lumber's lethal bite 1:11:14 Lumber's lethal bite not quite right 1:11:17 timers Terrors Death By Design the woods 1:11:20 wrath not your ordinary wood we're going 1:11:23 with 1:11:24 Timber's 1:11:28 Revenge um let's create a here four 1:11:31 detailed descriptions for the poster 1:11:34 okay 1:11:36 um what did I 1:11:39 say 1:11:42 Timber's okay the horror film is going 1:11:44 to be called Timber's 1:11:47 Revenge period make sure that the 1:11:50 typography is bold and clearly visible 1:11:53 at the top of the poster with the 1:11:56 termite choking on splinters 1:12:03 below I had my last client decided to f 1:12:07 off down to Peru on an iasa journey and 1:12:10 she quit and stayed oh my 1:12:17 god oh lunar stick it's just like I just 1:12:22 I feel like 1:12:25 it like like I I feel like what the 1:12:27 media is talking about is like it's 1:12:30 those pesky young kids not wanting to 1:12:32 come into the office that are [ __ ] 1:12:34 everything up but I'm actually 1:12:36 experiencing it like with the senior 1:12:38 people is they're just [ __ ] they just 1:12:41 don't [ __ ] do their 1:12:44 job I don't get it man I don't get 1:12:48 it like we do a lot of we do a lot of 1:12:51 handholding with our clients and 1:12:57 um that one's [ __ ] weird why is why 1:13:02 is it 1:13:05 backwards and upside down so no okay 1:13:09 those 1:13:10 are oh okay it 1:13:14 didn't it just didn't get these right at 1:13:20 all some of some of the images couldn't 1:13:23 be processed du due to our content 1:13:25 policy so it wrote prompts that it 1:13:29 couldn't fulfill cuz it violated the 1:13:31 content privac policy maybe you should 1:13:34 have figured that out like after you 1:13:36 wrote it rather than trying to render it 1:13:37 you dumb Dums um let's try this 1:13:41 again okay let's start over please 1:13:44 create a horror movie poster called 1:13:47 Timber's 1:13:49 Revenge 1:13:52 period the prim primary image on the 1:13:55 poster should be the face of a termite 1:14:00 choking on wood 1:14:02 splinters 1:14:08 period scientists are laughing in the 1:14:15 background come on now Dolly 3 don't 1:14:22 suck 1:14:32 retr punk retr 1:14:37 [Laughter] 1:14:40 punk you can't see it those are those 1:14:44 are Japanese instructions for using the 1:14:46 power washing toilets in 1:14:52 Japan oh you're the 1:14:57 best oh that's funny that's comedy right 1:15:03 there 1:15:04 ah all right are we get what what's 1:15:07 going on what is going on where are our 1:15:10 posters come on it's been three SEC why 1:15:12 are they 1:15:15 sideways there's sideways and backwards 1:15:18 this is 1:15:22 bizarre 1:15:29 huh that's bizarre I mean we we we could 1:15:33 pop that out 1:15:38 into let's see if we can flip it here 1:15:42 we'll go tools rotate rotate rotate and 1:15:45 then can I flip 1:15:47 it flip horizontal there we 1:15:52 go so that's it's not bad it's not 1:15:54 really a horror film I guess it was a 1:15:56 horror film from the 1:15:57 50s and he's not really he's not really 1:16:00 choking him he's not really choking on 1:16:03 splinters looks like he's snacking on 1:16:06 [Laughter] 1:16:10 Spaghetti that's bizarre that it did it 1:16:12 so backwards and weird like 1:16:15 that I wonder if there there must be 1:16:17 some image like some uh training data in 1:16:20 there where they've got a bunch of 1:16:22 poorly skinned [ __ ] that's backwards 1:16:26 and and uh and hasn't been rotated 1:16:30 that's 1:16:31 fascinating 1:16:33 anyway all right can I be in irregular 1:16:35 on Discord down in the mud sure just 1:16:37 when you go into Discord just let me 1:16:39 know that you're down in the mud in the 1:16:41 introductions Channel and then I'll give 1:16:43 you the RO the roll the roll the plane 1:16:47 the 1:16:50 the welcome to Fantasy Island 1:16:54 my voice is very crispy tonight and 1:16:57 crunchy crunchy and crispy crispy and 1:16:59 crunchy there is no resonance within my 1:17:01 voice my voice sounds like garbage 1:17:05 tonight it sounds 1:17:09 awful pardon 1:17:16 me oh the EO 1:17:19 gima it was Pulp Fiction not what I was 1:17:22 shooting for yeah no that didn't quite 1:17:24 work the Pulp Fiction one TM TMNT is 1:17:27 pretty 1:17:28 good but the uh what is it the hills of 1:17:31 eima the Sands of 1:17:33 eima it's down in the mud all right 1:17:36 private pepper 1:17:40 you are an AI 1:17:43 irregular look at 1:17:45 that look at that you're also an AI 1:17:48 Adventurer 1:17:50 save done done 1:17:54 see when you get add people in the right 1:17:57 moment [ __ ] happens fast are you using 1:18:01 dolly3 directly or using chat GPT to 1:18:04 create a more detailed promp no I'm 1:18:05 using it directly so chat I got access 1:18:08 to um I guess Alpha access because it's 1:18:11 it's still a little janky um Dolly 3 is 1:18:15 just a different mode so just like you 1:18:16 have browse with Bing which is now back 1:18:18 and you have Advanced Data analysis and 1:18:20 plugins you have dolly3 mode basically 1:18:24 and so when you go into dolly3 mode if 1:18:27 you if you you can just interact with it 1:18:29 like you normally would like you could 1:18:31 say 1:18:33 um come up with a social media image 1:18:38 concept 1:18:41 for a new Frozen Turtle meat pop 1:18:47 period before you make any images give 1:18:50 me 10 possible cat catchy 1:18:56 headlines and by the way don't knock 1:18:58 Turtle meat frozen pops if you haven't 1:19:00 had them yet they're [ __ ] delicious 1:19:02 you [ __ ] weirdos okay turttly tasty 1:19:07 dive into the new frozen delight Shell 1:19:09 Shocked by Flavor the ultimate Turtle 1:19:12 meat pop okay we got to go with number 1:19:15 two okay 1:19:17 um I love number two please create four 1:19:22 images to go with that and 1:19:26 incorporate the text into the image 1:19:29 period I want to be able to use these in 1:19:32 social 1:19:33 media 1:19:41 immediately so so it's wild it's it's I 1:19:44 it's just a completely different 1:19:49 experience creating images in the 1:19:52 context of a convers ation 1:19:54 it's it's it's I don't I don't know it's 1:19:58 weird now there's there's things that 1:20:00 are shitty about it like you don't have 1:20:02 a lot of control you can't go back and 1:20:04 edit an image you know like like I feel 1:20:06 like it seems like what they're working 1:20:08 on right now is the is the prompting and 1:20:11 getting it to like decently do do images 1:20:16 and then they'll probably work on 1:20:19 interface uh to do other 1:20:22 [ __ ] 1:20:24 wasn't going to post this dolly made me 1:20:26 do 1:20:29 it that's good Sherry D that's really 1:20:34 good um shell shock Turtle meat pop look 1:20:39 at this at the stick coming out of its 1:20:42 ass oh my 1:20:48 God Shell Shocked by Flavor oh my God 1:20:56 oh my god 1:20:58 oh um open image in new 1:21:03 tab where did it do it did it do it 1:21:06 where's my image oh no it didn't open in 1:21:08 a new tab let's do copy image link we'll 1:21:11 go here we'll paste 1:21:17 it what's it doing oh it's downloading 1:21:20 it fine open file 1:21:33 I think listen not for nothing Frozen 1:21:36 Turtles on a stick yeah exactly why 1:21:40 would you not make I think 1:21:43 listen there's there's 69 of us in here 1:21:46 it's an appropriate number there's 69 of 1:21:48 us in here I think we start a turtle 1:21:51 meat pop company and here's the deal we 1:21:54 don't actually need to Pop to make the 1:21:56 pops just yet we just start the company 1:21:58 and we start advertising it and we let 1:22:00 people lose their [ __ ] over it and we 1:22:02 get featured on CNN and then we tell 1:22:04 them what our real product is it doesn't 1:22:06 matter but so many people will be 1:22:08 offended at our Turtle 1:22:10 Pops 1:22:12 that we can't lose we can't lose with 1:22:15 this one people listen let's go into 1:22:17 business 1:22:18 together come on I told you I was an 1:22:22 entrepreneur 1:22:24 the 1:22:24 [Laughter] 1:22:29 genius oh my God and that one with the 1:22:32 realistic 1:22:37 shell 1:22:41 oh the ultimate Turtle meat 1:22:43 [Laughter] 1:22:46 pop good lord it's just not right 1:22:51 people but but anyway yeah that's DOL 1:22:55 within chat GPT it's pretty 1:22:57 remarkable oh you know what we're going 1:22:59 to do oh here's what we're going to 1:23:04 [Music] 1:23:05 do we're g we're going to do something 1:23:07 cool here all right and I know I'm not 1:23:10 really answering a lot of questions wait 1:23:11 can you have it be a push pop with the 1:23:14 turly good goodness gets raised out of 1:23:17 the top of it I 1:23:21 could oh God 1:23:23 now I want to do one of these I want to 1:23:25 do one of these things with with a whole 1:23:27 bunch of objects in 1:23:32 it I have a concept to 1:23:38 create I have a concept to create a game 1:23:42 where each page is a 1:23:44 photograph 1:23:46 with way too many objects on it 1:23:51 period and the trick is to identify as 1:23:54 many objects as possible in a short 1:23:57 amount of time period can you make me a 1:24:00 list of 1:24:02 objects that would be good for a project 1:24:06 like 1:24:10 this let's see what this does an alarm 1:24:13 clock an apple an apron oh it's doing it 1:24:15 alphabetically that's super 1:24:19 cool let's see how many it's going to 1:24:21 give us Jesus it's only up to the bees 1:24:23 and we're at 1:24:24 40 I think it's going to go on for a 1:24:28 while this is probably a bad 1:24:33 idea oh wait I I know I'll 1:24:39 do that's great can you make me an image 1:24:44 for the 1:24:47 a objects the B objects and the C 1:24:51 objects period so so three images 1:24:58 total photo of a cluttered scene with 1:25:01 various a 1:25:03 objects so it didn't actually write 1:25:06 them the B1 wrote them and the C1 wrote 1:25:12 them calculator calendar can 1:25:19 aota I'm going to stop generating I'm 1:25:22 going to say 1:25:26 please include the list of items up 1:25:29 above for each 1:25:31 letter in the image 1:25:47 prompt it doesn't seem to be as many as 1:25:50 we're up there but let's see what it 1:25:51 does 1:25:56 use chicken flavored stock every game 1:25:58 meat tastes like 1:26:00 [Laughter] 1:26:03 chicken oh my goodness this sounds like 1:26:07 a terrible game Kyle I refuse to 1:26:10 help but let's go look at them A's uh 1:26:14 find the apples yeah that's 1:26:16 rough it's like 40 apples in there all 1:26:20 right there's an 1:26:21 avocado the clocks don't make any sense 1:26:24 oh alarm clock that's an A B for 1:26:30 broccoli actually this is not a bad game 1:26:33 like C for camera L for lens like so 1:26:37 there's some things in here that are not 1:26:38 a 1:26:40 things that's 1:26:43 interesting that's B basketballs 1:26:47 backpack bad mitt racket 1:26:51 bread this is isn't a bad game whoever 1:26:54 said that Pate this sounds like a 1:26:56 terrible game I refused to help oh 1:26:58 you're just quoting chat GPT I think 1:27:00 this is actually a good 1:27:05 game because you could have this on once 1:27:08 okay so here you go here you go people 1:27:10 right this is why you came here right 1:27:13 you can make money 1:27:15 with here you go here's your 1:27:17 money-making idea find the objects the 1:27:20 one page is the objects the other page 1:27:22 is just a 1:27:23 a bunch of lines where you write [ __ ] 1:27:27 down is it stupid 1:27:30 yep is it good look at look at the 1:27:35 C1 wait what's in there okay 1:27:39 can 1:27:41 um 1:27:42 carrot see it it threw in an avocado it 1:27:45 threw in a pumpkin pumpkin's not a 1:27:49 CW oh tell 1:28:37 Channel if you're not doing it there are 1:28:39 you I don't know oh people are actually 1:28:42 sharing interesting things in the show 1:28:43 and tell Channel but go share some of 1:28:45 the funny things in the show Andel 1:28:50 channel uh 1:28:54 that's my brain I know to tell me about 1:28:56 it 1:28:57 [Music] 1:28:59 um slowly add salt to my turtle base 1:29:04 too I'll develop the tun and chamoy line 1:29:09 with real imitation SE Turtle I know I'm 1:29:13 telling you that that ad is so funny 1:29:15 like if you made a turtle pop you could 1:29:17 screen print a answers list like a total oh 1:30:51 that's a really good 1:30:53 idea Cliff whoever pinned that whoever's 1:30:56 modding tonight good pinning that's a 1:30:59 good 1:30:59 pin 1:31:04 um 1:31:07 okay 1:31:10 um those are perfect can you give 1:31:16 me a teachers answer 1:31:19 list for 1:31:23 each of the a b and c objects for each 1:31:29 image see I don't think it's going to do 1:31:31 good with this because I mean it will 1:31:34 give us the 1:31:39 list 1:31:43 but users can use these lists to check 1:31:47 their answers against the things cuz I 1:31:49 don't maybe maybe it pulled these out of 1:31:51 the prompts but but I don't think it 1:31:55 um I'd be surprised if all these were 1:31:57 actually in there so so cabbage Cactus 1:32:00 calculator calendar let's go to the 1:32:03 C's there's 1:32:05 calculator there's 1:32:10 Cactus there's the calendar oh maybe so 1:32:14 maybe it pulled these from the 1:32:15 prompts let's see Cactus oh cabbage 1:32:18 Cactus calculator camera okay so p it 1:32:22 from the prompts that's 1:32:26 interesting 1:32:29 um let's 1:32:36 see okay I'd like to you to give 1:32:41 me a new 1:32:44 list of objects for a b c and 1:32:51 d 1:32:57 a 1:32:59 b 1:33:03 c 1:33:08 and 1:33:21 d oh 1:33:24 wait sorry I want 10 objects per 1:33:34 list 1:33:35 astal the [ __ ] is an 1:33:42 astral kff okay now it's just making 1:33:45 [ __ ] up I'm gonna I'm gonna yell at it 1:33:46 this is not good okay this is for kids 1:33:51 so words like astrol are way too 1:33:54 esoteric and weird period you're acting 1:33:58 like a weirdo now period an irregular if 1:34:02 you will 1:34:10 period yell at your robots yell at your 1:34:13 robots yell at your robots they probably 1:34:15 won't kill you yet okay 1:34:20 um please please give me 10 objects that 1:34:23 will be recognizable by a 1:34:29 child I apologize for the oversight 1:34:31 let's keep it simple and child friendly 1:34:34 Apple 1:34:35 an okay great 1:34:42 perfect terrific now 1:34:45 create a 1:34:47 portrait aspect ratio 1:34:50 image for each each of the letters that 1:34:53 has at least 100 objects but also 1:34:57 includes the listed objects above for 1:35:00 each of the four letters 1:35:03 period and 1:35:06 [Music] 1:35:10 go all right let's 1:35:12 see yep it wrote all the a things down 1:35:15 the B items it wrote 1:35:17 down oh that's cool it wrote bat an 1:35:20 animal cuz could put baseball 1:35:24 bat all right so the so the 1 two 3 4 5 1:35:30 6 7 8 9 1:35:33 10 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 1:35:39 10 kind of cool this kind of cool people 1:35:42 it's kind of cool I don't know if you 1:35:44 know this but it's kind of cool I kind 1:35:46 of like this it's kind of like where's 1:35:48 Waldo I saw a uh I saw a tweet the other 1:35:51 day it say said Waldo's toast because 1:35:54 the chat GPT that where you can read an 1:35:57 image um it just finds 1:35:59 [Laughter] 1:36:11 Waldo all right there's an apple this is 1:36:15 actually kind of a cool game this would 1:36:16 be a cool game like that one's a frakin 1:36:19 nightmare there's there's obvious 1:36:21 bananas in it oh sorry there's obvious 1:36:24 bananas in 1:36:27 it but you'd have to kind of zoom in on 1:36:29 that action oh but also did you also 1:36:32 notice that um it made these all 1:36:35 portrait so now I can 1:36:38 go 1:36:41 um I think I'd rather have these be in 1:36:43 landscape orientation can you try again 1:36:46 period can you also make them all the 1:36:48 same visual style period let's go go 1:36:52 with watercolor 1:36:54 painting in an 1:37:02 illustrative rendered 1:37:04 style I don't know what that means and I 1:37:08 know it's illustrative but 1:37:12 whatever I think it's morning oh that's 1:37:16 beautiful this is just cool because of 1:37:18 the prompt used dude what was the prompt 1:37:22 what was the 1:37:32 [Music] 1:37:33 prompt does Kyle have the image upload 1:37:36 feature this is crazy I don't have the 1:37:38 image gen yet I do not Stell Dev isn't 1:37:41 this amazing this is 1:37:44 um I got I got access to to the dolly to 1:37:47 the image Generation stuff it's 1:37:50 amazing so there's landscape oriented 1:37:53 pictures these are much better they're 1:37:54 in the same visual 1:37:58 style so here's the A's let's see what 1:38:00 we can do here we got an 1:38:03 apple 1:38:05 apron 1:38:08 airplane um a lot of cars 1:38:13 ambulance Apple 1:38:17 alligator uh uh uh said there was an ant 1:38:21 I don't see an ant I think that thing is 1:38:23 supposed to be an ant but it's it's a 1:38:26 genetic 1:38:27 malfunction all right that's the A's 1:38:29 here's the bees bunny bear Banana 1:38:35 Boat um 1:38:39 Rainbow 1:38:41 Ball what's that thing that's not a 1:38:43 thing 1:38:46 books 1:38:50 uh 1:38:52 why are we playing find the objects on 1:38:55 the AI learning lab because we can 1:39:02 cake 1:39:04 oh oh 1:39:09 wow oh that that's actually really 1:39:12 pretty this is the D's doggy dinosaur 1:39:15 ducky 1:39:17 Platypus no clownish drum 1:39:22 banana no d d d d uh it's cool that it's 1:39:28 kind of mixing the objects up across 1:39:30 them 1:39:31 donut 1:39:34 um ducky there's ducky another 1:39:38 drum 1:39:41 Dolly 1:39:43 [Music] 1:39:46 uh I me this is mindblowing see my 1:39:49 theory is to help the AI get better and 1:39:52 then use that to barter for my safety in 1:39:55 the 1:39:57 future that's good Pate it's not 1:40:01 bad yeah you should document everything 1:40:04 so that when the robot comes for you 1:40:05 you're like dude you're running
