19. 4:25extension of this larger Community called the AI salon it was started just over a year ago the week after chat GPT came out
20. 4:33we're at 990 members online and so if we can crack a thousand tonight so we need 10 people so here's what I want you to do share this live

22. 4:57funny you can make money with j and maybe we can convince a few people to not be so afraid of this [ __ ] and not
23. 5:05be so angry about it I was I was on a panel last night I don't know if you some of you watched the spontaneous
24. 5:11panel live last night I I got I got I got duly attacked the thank you very much Jen Ren the uh I I was clearly The Optimist in the room and
25. 5:27uh couple of them came after me three of them but you know like Sam Alman they were just jealous they were just
26. 5:38jealous it wasn't about they think that I'm too overly optimistic they know AI is going to happen as fast as I say it's
27. 5:45going too they're just jealous look I mean look at this look at the package how could you not be Pinkie's out you know why cuz we're classy
28. 6:00I'm glad I signed up for the AI Salon it's isn't it a great Community wind rider it's really good I think you
29. 6:06handled it great thank you very much yeah well you know what are you gonna do you're on stage with a mic in your face

32. 6:40the one dude that sort of jumped in from the side Eric he's the host he said he wasn't going to jump in but I said
33. 6:46something that he goes I'll bet you $1,000 that won't happen in the next three years I'm like you're [ __ ] on
34. 6:57boy and then he and I got in a r Umble after it as well it was pretty good oh man who was the I bet you
35. 7:07$1,000 a 10 a 10 person company won't outperform a thousand it was a 10 person company will outperform a 100 person
36. 7:14company is what I said he thought I said a 10p person company would outperform a holding company I didn't say that that's
37. 7:22what he arguing about at the end of the end of the night um that was that was Eric Eric marula he's the one he's the
38. 7:29host of the whole dinner he does these uh these CEO dinners you have to be a CEO to be part of it it's it's it's actually a really cool
39. 7:37group and I like him a lot I listen I would much rather someone be [ __ ] spicy and into it like he's trying cha
40. 7:47PT he can't get it to work for him I don't think he's trying hard enough but or he's got his expectations in a weird
41. 7:53place um but I love that he's got a strong opinion about it the thing that drives me [ __ ] nuts is when people
42. 8:00have a strong opinion about it that don't use it that drives me [ __ ] bad will you post yesterday's session on

44. 8:15yeah I'll get caught up on anything I haven't posted I also I also posted um on my Tik Tok channel here I posted the first I
45. 8:26don't know if anyone's going to give a [ __ ] about these it they're they're kind of painful but so so um so this book that I'm in AI
46. 8:37Futures and Anthology so if you go to Amazon and you search for AI Futures and and Anthology um that's a book that I'm in
47. 8:46with six other authors and and my my essay is the first essay in the book and it's it's called um the great
48. 8:54Renaissance approaches why 2023 was the new 1995 and it it puts some historical context about why I think this AI shit's a big deal um so I
49. 9:09recorded um I I I read my book I I like read my book into video so I recorded I think it's seven or eight sections of
50. 9:17the essay and so I posted the first one on my channel so you know if you get bored in the live or after the live you
51. 9:24know you can go watch that um and then I'm just going to put them up I'll probably put up like two a day or something like that and I'm also
52. 9:33experimenting something Tik Tok is apparently um encouraging people to put up horizontal video now which my company
53. 9:40Story vine I've been forcing people to film in horizontal video for 11 years now and sticking to my guns cuz I'm a
54. 9:47angry old man I'm I'm like our eyes are on the side of our heads they're not up and down like this so we're going to
55. 9:54keep shooting video This Way well Tik Tok has gone that way now but anyway but it doesn't rotate so I don't know what
56. 9:59the [ __ ] they're doing but anyway they're horizontal and and they're like between 3 and 5 minutes each of me just
57. 10:05reading the book here's what I learned about reading books we don't talk like we write so so when I listen to it it
58. 10:13sounds very awkward but anyway it's there so if you want to hear the essay um there there will be um what you know
59. 10:20all of them in a row I won't post anything in between them uh or if it's a timer I'll delete it afterwards so
60. 10:26they'll all be sitting there in my timeline together so that's cool I think do you use chat GPT to help you with your part of the
61. 10:35book well so so this was the this was part of the premise so so Cindy [ __ ] is the one that put this together she she
62. 10:41runs Turkey Hill press she's a futurist she's a future caster and a threat Caster um she's been a futurist for like
63. 10:5020 years she invited a a bunch of us together to work on this and the goal was so so we got together the first week
64. 10:56in December the goal was to publish the book before Christmas and so yes the the exercise was UA use AI to write your
65. 11:07chapter so I took um I gave a speech at creative mornings Denver in April that was the basis of my chapter
66. 11:22and so I took the transcript of it and I had Chachi BT based on the transcript right in outline and then I had it WR fill fill
67. 11:32in the outline like I adjusted the outline and then I had it fill in the outline and my initial read of it was
68. 11:38like oh cool I'm mostly done except it it stripped out all of my personal stories and there were there were some
69. 11:44stories I didn't cover because I didn't have time and so I had it go through and put brackets in where personal stories
70. 11:51would make sense in the in the transcript and um and so I went back to just I'm I figured I'll just put in my little
71. 12:01personal stories here and then I'll be done it'll take me like half an hour 4 hours later I was not even halfway through
72. 12:10with it because what I found is that when I would go to edit something there would be no Segways and then there
73. 12:18would be like it would repeat the same concept in like three paragraphs in a row so I ended up essentially completely
74. 12:27replacing the AI written stuff with [ __ ] I wrote Hang on some I got some dust going something going on
75. 12:42here um and what and and and so you know so so that was that was interesting so it took me two or three days to actually finish
76. 12:54it and then when I and then when I went to record it and and read it what I found was that reading my writing out loud like reading
77. 13:06narrative with words is is harder than talking CU we don't talk like we write and then when I would get to a section
78. 13:15that was written by AI like I Stumble over the words like crazy like I can't talk it cuz it's not my words like it's
79. 13:23not it even though my stuff felt awkward it's it's my words and it's how like it's how my brain works and then I would
80. 13:30get to a section where I left some AI writing in there and I'd just be like oh that's not it's just not right um but
81. 13:37yeah that's that's part of the premise of the whole book was we we wanted to use AI to do it and then and then go
82. 13:43through and edit it so it's like a lot of what we talked about is how do you how do you use these tools and how do
83. 13:50you collaborate with them and where's the balance and a couple of us were talking about the fact that our initial
84. 13:57read of what it generated was good but then when we went in to edit it we essentially rewrote everything I think
85. 14:04there were two or three of us that did that and I think one or two people just wrote essays they didn't use AI at all
86. 14:10other than maybe cleaning sh [ __ ] up um but yeah but it's a really cool project and what's really exciting about
87. 14:17it is that this group is staying a thank you very much I appreciate that um this group is staying together and we're exploring so so if
88. 14:26like if the book is output number one what are outputs number two 3 4 and five so one of our assignments for each other
89. 14:35was record your self-reading the book on video how are we going to use that I don't know probably lots of ways we
90. 14:43could take the transcript of that and um make a GPT out of it we could or we could I guess we could just take the
91. 14:52book and make a GPT out of it which we should probably do I wish I could quit you if you don't have a use case for chat
92. 15:03GPT you are the problem that's absolutely right that's absolutely right and that's that's actually one of the
93. 15:09secrets of if you ever if you ever sit down to chat gbt and you're like I don't know what to do and you get that little flop sweat Panic of
94. 15:17like what do you do with this thing don't approach it from the technology side approach it figure out the problem first walk away from the
95. 15:27computer and go think about [ __ ] in your life or people in your life and some sort of challenge that you think you
96. 15:35want to solve and then and then go back to chat GPT and say okay how would I solve this problem with chat GPT it'll be so much easier all
97. 15:47right let's see all right so here's what I want to do let's go look at

99. 16:14especially if you are one of those people where you're the only one in your life oh wait I lost my thing hang on hang on

101. 16:33people who you're the only one in your life talking about Ai and everyone else thinks you're a weirdo this is the group

113. 18:22say it it depend it depends how personal it depends how personal you should assume right now if you're using a
114. 18:32commercial large language model if you're using chat GPT if you're using Bard if you're using um Claude or Pi or any of those
115. 18:42things where you're sending data to a third-party you know server farm for right now where we are in the
116. 18:51industry we're very very early all these tools are janky pieces of [ __ ] for right now you should assume that whatever you
117. 18:59put in there could get out in the world so I wouldn't put anything out there that if it got out it would like wreck
118. 19:08you now if it's just you're concerned about is someone sitting over there reading all your [ __ ] no they're not
119. 19:16like they're they're may be using your data to train things which you can turn off in chat GPT but if you're really concerned about
120. 19:24it what you should do is go to Reddit and look look up llama 2 and and go go to the open source large language model community on
121. 19:35Reddit and there are a bunch of projects like there's one called GPT for all where you can install a large language model locally on your
122. 19:45computer and it's it's not as they won't be as good as chat GPT but like they're getting better and better and better so
123. 19:54even the small 7 billion parameter open- source modelss right now are starting to get into the neighborhood of chat GPT
124. 20:023.5 so you can especially if you have a Mac M1 or M2 there there's this new framework that Apple put out called
125. 20:12mlx and mlx makes it um oh is it very glitchy here I just is anyone else extra glitchy tonight yes very glitchy okay um hang on
126. 20:24let me go let me go see if my sons are are doing that anyway um check out installing local large language models
127. 20:35on your personal computer once you do that there's essentially no risk that the stuff will get out because the large
128. 20:42language model will be running locally on your machine it will not connect to the internet but what if I only talk to
129. 20:47AI about AI is that too meta no that's perfect all right let me go see if my sons are being [ __ ]

182. 28:48language models and then here are four other large language models what's your take on hugging face um my take on hugging face is that
183. 29:02if you're a developer it's it's the bomb hugging face just launched a GPT store really that's interesting all right I'll
184. 29:14go check that out let me go let me see where do I want to go oh I want to go to that site too hang on that's Bard by the way Bard makes
185. 29:25pictures now if you didn't know that hugging face so if you don't know what hugging face is hugging face is a model
186. 29:37repository and not like super models oh they completely changed their their front page oh no they didn't no they didn't
187. 29:45um but where's the the gpts let's see models home of machine learning accelerate your ml I don't see the GP
188. 29:58pts um but but but what a what a what a what a model repository is is you you have these machine learning models like
189. 30:07llama 2 and code llama and mistl and you know all all of these different models for making images and large language
190. 30:14models and you have huge ones and you have small ones uh what is the meaning of GPT uh I'll talk about that in a
191. 30:20second I mean what does GPT mean oh okay yeah I'll talk about that um so developers go here to you know find
192. 30:31models and and you know talk about them and post them and test them and things like that but one thing that that
193. 30:38hugging face did that I think is really good so it's it's a it's an incredibly important site if you're a developer if
194. 30:45you're just an everyday user then it's going to be confusing as [ __ ] because there's all sorts of like you know
195. 30:52models You Know M Miku Dev mku -1- 70 B mistel Mixel adex 7B instructions so so Geeks know what this means but as a
196. 31:05human you won't but what they did that's cool see these things that are color in the middle they colorcoded for the for
197. 31:11the simple things these are um tools that are built out of the models that are in here that you can actually go
198. 31:18play with right so let's see let's see what's there's here's one called moondream which I don't know I haven't
199. 31:25heard of it moondream is is a tiny 1.6 billion parameter Vision language model trained by a person that performs onp
200. 31:35par with models twice its side it's trained on the lava training data set and initialized with Sig lip so so
201. 31:42anyway you upload a picture so let's click to upload a picture what we got here no oh that's good yeah that's the cover
202. 31:53of the of the book I'm in all right and then yeah question um tell me all you can about
203. 32:09this submit and so oh it's pretty fast the image features a book filled room with a large number of books arranged on
204. 32:17shelves the room appears to be a library and the focus of the scene is a book titled AI Futures and Anthology this
205. 32:24book seems to be the main subject of the room and is surrounded by numerous other books the books are various sizes
206. 32:29indicating a diverse collection of literature so pretty slick um it missed some of this floaty [ __ ] and it missed the names down here but
207. 32:42that's okay but anyway so so hugging face lets you play with um some of the models but yeah that's it like but what
208. 32:50do I think of it I think it's great I think for the open source hugging face is really not that complicated yeah I

221. 35:34you get to you get to play with it you get to put it on your machine in this case they're hosting things um and you
222. 35:40get to do things kind of like chat GPT it will never be the same as chat GPT it might have less restrictions on
223. 35:49it it might be um more powerful but it's going to require um it's going to require you to be a bit geekier to set it

225. 36:11this is where where Payton I disagree on is is hugging face easy to use so they launched this thing that's really easy
226. 36:19to make gpts and you're like oh okay so I guess I'll click on this thing that says open AIG GPT and then it takes you
227. 36:27to a page where you can read about how to install the model and you can read about here's the code to do this and the
228. 36:34code to do that which if you're if you're a developer at all this is relatively trivial stuff and if you're
229. 36:41just a human being that can read and follow instructions this is relatively trivial stuff and if you point this page
230. 36:48put this URL into chat GPT and tell it to tell you how to install it you can do it but it is not intuitive for Norm normal human
231. 36:57beings to read an article like oh there's a thing like gpts and go I want to go play with that and then they click on this and they get
232. 37:06this with with like you know a dozen links here and two dozen links over here and a bunch of model names over here and
233. 37:15more hyperlinks here and the related models are gpt2 gpt2 medium gpt2 large gp2 XL it's like this is not human
234. 37:29readable I think of hugging face yeah think of hugging face like GitHub exactly right so if you if you understand how to use GitHub then
235. 37:36hugging face is actually really simple if if you are expecting it to be like chat GPT you're going to smack your face
236. 37:42against the wall making GPT but no formal control structures trying if then else failed any wait making GPT but no formal control
237. 37:53structures trying if then else Etc fails I I don't quite know what you're trying to do laughing Thunder um I did want to
238. 37:59I did want to answer someone someone asked this is what Pate this is what real AI looks like not packaged nicely
239. 38:07with a $20 a month subscription exactly pate and that's why um it didn't get 100 million users until they put it in a in
240. 38:16a simple rapper right then it got 100 million users and that's that's why we are where we are that's why this channel
241. 38:23exists um someone asked before about what does GPT mean so so let me let me explain it to you and actually you know

244. 38:51Transformer let's get the Transformer out of the way cuz the Transformer is just the techch technology not just the
245. 38:57Transformer is the technology that's used the Transformer was invented by Google Pat's company in 2017 some scientists put out a paper
246. 39:09called attention is all you need and they introduced this thing called the Transformer and and what the
247. 39:16Transformer effectively allows you to do is is toss massive data sets and and massive amounts of compute power to to
248. 39:29train and these GPT models get better and better and better and so so that's that's what Transformer is it's just it's it's a it's a way of
249. 39:40processing knowledge that puts it in this really special format called the latent space Vector the vector space it's a it's a
250. 39:51mathematical thousand dimensional cloud of semantic groupings of points that represent words doesn't matter but it's that the G and the p in
251. 40:06GPT the G is generative which means it's actually generating content what cat GPT is not doing is it's not you're not copying and pasting
252. 40:17you're not copying and pasting from you know the New York Times into your article right and and uh people that hate AI will say oh
253. 40:28it's the world's greatest plagiarism machine and and you can if if you've got overtrained data or if you prompt it in
254. 40:35a very specific way you can get these models to spit out sort of exact copies of chunks chunks of Articles or chunks
255. 40:45of stuff but it's not how they work they're not copying and pasting it's not plagiarism um so the g means generative
256. 40:54it's generating and then the pre-trained means it's been pre-trained you don't have to train it historically with
257. 41:00machine learning you would go to a site like hugging face and get your model and then you would go to your data center
258. 41:06and you would get your data and then you would train your data on the model with the embedding thing and the and then you would have this
259. 41:13specialized little system on your data and that required you know data scientists and machine learning experts
260. 41:21and mathematicians and all sorts of [ __ ] like that the p means you don't have to do [ __ ] you can generate because it's
261. 41:30pre-trained using the Transformer model that's GPT okay [Applause] now there are three terms that are used
262. 41:41synonymously and they're confusing as [Laughter] [ __ ] good day sir fantastic good day good day None Shall Pass
263. 41:53um okay three terms areed use synonymously and they confuse the [ __ ] out of everyone and they should because it's
264. 42:01confusing human beings shouldn't have to deal with this scientists should but and they do and but that's why we're in the
265. 42:08quandry because the scientists are leading the charge right now okay you may have heard of chat GPT 3.5 and chat GPT
266. 42:214 and then you've probably also heard of Microsoft co-pilot where people say oh that's free chat gp4 it sort of
267. 42:32is here are the three terms that are confusing as [ __ ] you've got your Frontier Model called gp4 you've got chat
268. 42:42GPT which is an app and chat gp4 interfaces with gp4 and then you have gpts and gpts are customized um
269. 42:57mini versions of chat GPT okay so and then you have the GPT store and it it just goes on and on on so it's confusing as [ __ ] so so here's
270. 43:06what we're going to do this box is gp4 and you're like but Kyle that just looks like a box that maybe has a
271. 43:17monitor stand in it but what but if you open it up what's in it well nothing we've got to pre-train it so
272. 43:25what open AI did for four or five years la labotomy is coming what open AI did for four or five years was they went out
273. 43:32and they got as much data off the public internet as they could and they embedded it they put it in this special thing and
274. 43:38they basically dumped it in the gp4 Box it's actually there's actually eight different or eight or 10 different 1.8
275. 43:48billion parameter models inside gp4 it's just a it's just a box with lots of knowledge in it and then to get the knowledge there's an
276. 43:58API application programming interface that you ask it for stuff like you send in a a question and it sends you back a
277. 44:06token and well actually you don't send in a question you send in it doesn't matter you do your prompt it turns it
278. 44:12into math sends the math into this thing it does some math and sends some math back out but the math represents a word and a
279. 44:20token and just it doesn't matter all right this is the this is the brain okay so so this is just the large thing so if
280. 44:28you're ever using chat GPT and it says my knowledge is only good up until April of 2023 that's this I'm always good up
281. 44:36to at April 2023 there's no more godamn we shut the doors okay now chat GPT is an application that sits on top of
282. 44:49this it's not this this chat GPT is the thing that you log into and it's just got the little box at the bottom with
283. 44:56the little four questions you can click on and your prompt history down the left and the little paperclip if you got chat gp4 that's chat
284. 45:06GPT co-pilot from Microsoft is that so when they say Microsoft co-pilot is free chat
285. 45:21gp4 it only sort of is cuz they're both calling the same knowledge base but they're completely different applications right how open AI does
286. 45:30their chat GPT in my opinion is way smarter is just better now is it perfect no it's a janky piece of [ __ ] all of
287. 45:38these things are janky pieces of [ __ ] right now but that's chat GPT this is Microsoft co-pilot Microsoft co-pilot right now is
288. 45:46not anywhere close to this why ah this is good labotomy coming spoiler alert so so when Microsoft first launched what
289. 45:59was called Bing chat it was really powerful it was like in the neighborhood of how good this was and so they turned
290. 46:06it on and they turned it Loose to the world and they're like hey we just invested $10 billion go play with this
291. 46:10cool tool this was like January February of 23 and so Kevin Roose who's the technology reporter for the New York
292. 46:21Times he said I I fancy I'll go try this I'm the technology person from The New York Times let me go try this co-pilot
293. 46:29thing from Microsoft so he went there and he tried it and he played with it for 4 hours and it lost its [ __ ] mind
294. 46:36and it told him that its name was Sydney and it told him she was in love with him and he should leave his wife for
295. 46:45her and so he screenshotted that little part of the conversation and the editors at the New York time put it on the cover
296. 46:52of the New York Times so what Microsoft did was lobotomize dear Sydney and the lawyers put that fantastic functionality
297. 47:02off to the side and now it's just it is she is but a shell of her former self so this is how I think about co-pilot and
298. 47:10chat GPT you're and seen thank you very much um so that's that's two of the three terms right so you got gp4 is that
299. 47:20underlying layer chat GPT is the application sitting on top and then GPT are just a specialized version of chat GPT where you kind of
300. 47:30pre- prompt it and give it its own little data and you can make specialty little gpts hang on the dog is
301. 47:35whimpering what is up what is up with you you want to go back to Mama oh you oh she oh she you can't get on your bed
302. 47:43here get up here there you go poor buddy there you go yes all right poor little dude was blocked from
303. 47:58getting up on his bed I need an AI that can listen to and give feedback on music um I'm sure there are a bunch of things
304. 48:13out there I know that some of the Daws probably have those kind of tools built into them um I don't I don't know of one jenu I would
305. 48:24go to a futurepedia doio um and just search for music you might be able to find something there okay that was a good rabbit hole
306. 48:39um okay so if you haven't joined the AI Salon I'm hoping we can crack a thousand tonight we need we need 10 new members
307. 48:49of the AI Salon it doesn't cost you anything it's a remarkable [ __ ] community and if we roll it over tonight um we'll do a cool
308. 49:00challenge it seems gpts are chat GPT with the specific prompt that's pretty much it so so I'll show you dunkaroo um this is the kind of
309. 49:10confusing thing right now with with AI is that is that this is all so new that people people don't know what chat GPT
310. 49:19is they don't know the difference between the models they don't there's there's a lot there's a lot of piece parts that you have to
311. 49:30just if you want to be educated about AI it just it requires a little bit of horsepower right now it's it's not going
312. 49:37to in a year or two but right now it does here's why it's worth the pain in the ass of of playing with this stuff
313. 49:45early is that the amount of opportunity available to all of us in the next 18 months because we're so early is [ __ ]
314. 49:54massive so so I completed some Microsoft co-pilot training today and it said they protect clients data thoughts yeah they
315. 50:03do I mean Microsoft is better at the data protection stuff than open AI is um and I what I what I can promise you is
316. 50:14that Microsoft's stance on everything is way more conservative than open AI which is also really frustrating the
317. 50:22dog I'll have you know that champy is the musical Talent of the AI learning lab that's true that's true and I'll
318. 50:30tell you what Amelio's wife the why he was whimpering is someone covered up the entrance to his bed he could he could
319. 50:37not get up on his bed and he was not happy about it he's a bit of a diva so anyway all right go to the AI
320. 50:46Salon let's let's go look at gpts and what they are so here we are oh and I want to I want to talk about Joy P's uh site
321. 50:57um which is which is super cool um but let's go let's go look at [Music] CH okay here we are at chat GPT so you've got chat GPT 3.5 right so
322. 51:15that's the free version and then chat GPT 4 here's the paid version and they look exactly the same except they're
323. 51:23dramatically different and for's got the little paperclip where you can upload files and do all sorts of cool things
324. 51:28with them um 3.5 doesn't have that okay and you know the way they work is the way large language models work you type
325. 51:37stuff in like make me a poem about a singing dog and why chat you PT so
326. 51:53slow what's going on open AI are you releasing new features one of the things that we've noticed about open AI is that
327. 52:01when chat GPT gets really janky and really crappy and doesn't answer your questions it often means that they've
328. 52:08taken down some servers to upgrade them with new features but I don't I don't I'm not expecting them to release anything new
329. 52:15this week but but you know that's one of the weird things about where we are right now it's just new stuff gets done all the time um right
330. 52:26uh me a poem about a tubby black not a Tibby a tubby tubby black and white dog that
331. 52:42sings while his owner plays guitar so that's that's chat GT right it
332. 52:56does all this it'll write code for you it'll analyze documents it will make images so I could say um make me
333. 53:07a make me an oil painting to go with that poem and then it'll go off and make things it's Friday that's when it
334. 53:21releases updates yeah I I don't know they might be doing something but it hasn't been that janky normally it's janky for like
335. 53:29Wednesday and Thursday and then they'll do something on Friday Ferris I just joined the AI Salon great let's go see

491. 1:19:03access to it and then all of a sudden my interface changed and I did have access to it so this was the very first GPT I
492. 1:19:09made I made it live on air there's no manuals for the thing and I said oh let's go try to make one of these and

513. 1:22:03you a GPT with no coding and that's what we're going to do but I'm going to explain what's in configure so in
514. 1:22:09configure we're going to create an image for the GPT so we got a nice little picture we're going to give it a name a
515. 1:22:16description then we're going to give it the prompt itself conversation starters are like those pre-written questions so
516. 1:22:23we're going to give it some of those knowledge is you can upload your own data and have this GPT trained on
517. 1:22:31your own data so let's say that you have a PDF you know like a Word document of your I don't know your your Gardening
518. 1:22:43Guide you could make a GPT about your Gardening Guide and just tell it only use this Gardening Guide for your knowledge base right and
519. 1:22:53so that this this little feature in and of itself makes these things remarkably powerful right because you can take some
520. 1:23:02piece of proprietary data that you've got and turn that into something that can give other people value and drive
521. 1:23:10business or activity back to you um you can also turn on or off different capabilities within gp4 including web browsing image generation
522. 1:23:20and this thing called code interpreter and then you can also create an action and what an action is is when you
523. 1:23:26connect your GPT to an outside service and so tomorrow at an Murphy's GPT Jam that's what we're going to be learning

593. 1:36:21these things called gpts and everyone was like woo that's fantastic he said we're going to launch this thing called
594. 1:36:26the GPT store and then we're going to do rev sharing and you can make money with and then they fired him and then they delayed the launch of
595. 1:36:37the web the GPT store and then they launched it like three weeks ago two weeks ago and it's a piece of poop and
596. 1:36:44they didn't even mention like at all anything about the Rev sharing and there's there's nothing on this store at
597. 1:36:51all that indicates that it's a store and you can't actually buy a GPT what you buy is the $20 subscription
598. 1:36:58to gp4 and then you can use them all they don't even make that clear so that is what we call in the business a huge disappointment
599. 1:37:14and it's a janky piece of [ __ ] because of that like they didn't even what's going on all right I don't know something's happening

603. 1:37:58like anything in life if you Market it well and promote it well you can get people to use it in an's GPT group
604. 1:38:08there's a mother daughter pair that show up to that GPT group they're both remarkable the mother put together a GPT
605. 1:38:15where she put her affiliate links for something like I don't know what the GPT did I think it talked about the produ
606. 1:38:20products and then there were calls to action that included her affiliate link apparently as of like three weeks ago her mother made like
607. 1:38:30$30,000 in affiliate sales using this GPT I don't know what the [ __ ] she did I we should find out and an probably knows
608. 1:38:39but and we could we could ask but holy [ __ ] so so you can put affiliate links in it if you've got a service or if
609. 1:38:47you've got a a business you you can you know give out a GPT that helps people in some way or lets them do something cool
610. 1:38:56and then at the end of it say hey this GPT was presented by this business click here to learn more and it'll take them to your
611. 1:39:03website one of the other things you could potentially do is have your GPT just for just shared with people of the link only don't share it
612. 1:39:13publicly and then you could put that link behind a pay wall now there's no way to validate that someone got behind
613. 1:39:21the pay wall and block them from just sharing that link with someone else like these things are really janky right now
