Description

Friday Night Date Night - Kyle Shannon explores the exciting advancements in AI tools, highlighting the "A1 era" where functionality and usability converge. He showcases Rabbit OS Intern, an autonomous agent that built a functioning web-based theremin from a simple prompt. He also discusses OpenAI's extended memory feature for ChatGPT, enabling access to past conversations, and explores the potential of AI image generation within ChatGPT, comparing it to Canva and other standalone generators. Kyle emphasizes the importance of "vibe coding" with tools like Lovable, Rabbit OS Intern, Firebase Studio, Replit, and Manus.im, encouraging experimentation and play. Further showcasing AI's creative potential, Kyle demonstrates AI-powered video generation with Luma Labs and Cling, animating an action figure created in ChatGPT. He also shares a project involving a digital persona of a doctor, reimagining an outdated video with AI-generated visuals, cloned voice, and a patient story brought to life. Kyle promotes Kimberly Offford's AI film contest, urging viewers to participate and highlights the AI Salon community as a valuable resource for navigating the evolving AI landscape. He concludes by assigning weekend "homework," encouraging exploration of image generation, ChatGPT's memory feature, vibe coding, and AI filmmaking. 0:56 Hello. Hello.

1:45 [Music]
1:50 Is this place I can rest my bold
1:54 [Music]
1:57 Gather my thoughts in sweet
2:01 [Music]
2:03 silence. The busiest place where the
2:06 feelings are
2:08 [Music]
2:10 dead. From an overexlo to
2:15 violence. This is place I can slowly
2:18 face. The only one I truly can know.
2:23 These are tears from a long time
2:27 ago. Got these tears from a long time
2:30 ago. I need to cry. 30 years or so.
2:36 These are tears from a long
2:41 time. Go.
2:46 [Music]
2:49 Well, oh darling, oh darling, you say to
2:52 me,
2:57 where have you been all my
3:02 life? Well, I have been swimming the
3:05 seven sad
3:07 [Music]
3:09 seas. Old women have tossed me their
3:12 lifelines.
3:17 I' them I didn't
3:21 know these are tears from a long time
3:24 ago. Got these tears from a long time
3:28 ago. I need to cry 30 years or
3:33 so. These are tears from a long
3:38 time ago.

3:55 Happy Friday night. Date night, good
3:57 people. What is happening? What's
4:00 happening? What's going down? What's
4:02 shaking? I'm trying to take a home exam
4:05 while I watch. Guess which one I'm
4:07 paying more attention to. Welcome, Tom.
4:10 Home exam my ass. You're watching the AI
4:13 learning lab. Sorry, the A1 learning
4:15 lab. Welcome to the A1 Learning Lab,
4:18 everyone. Uh where we talk
4:21 about condiments and
4:25 steak and
4:33 education. What a week. Glad it's
4:35 Friday. Yeah. Holy [ __ ]
4:38 There's Okay, here's here's the here's
4:42 my
4:42 lowdown. Here's my lowown
4:46 [Music]
4:53 takeaway. Other than
4:55 [Music]
5:00 like I I I'm mystified by the A1 by the
5:04 A1 thing. I'm mystified by it. But let's
5:07 leave that
5:09 aside. If you don't know what I'm
5:10 talking about, go Google uh Linda
5:13 McMahon A1. Just watch that little
5:17 interview. It It wasn't like she was
5:19 reading a speech and just misread it.
5:22 She was being interviewed on a
5:26 [Music]
5:31 panel. But here's my takeaway on the AI
5:33 stuff.
5:37 Um, so when was it? I think it was last
5:40 week. Last week. Yeah. When when the new
5:44 image gen thing came out from from uh
5:47 Hang on, let me switch my cameras for
5:48 you. So
5:49 So I'm looking at y'all. Hello
5:52 everybody. Hello. Hello. Good
5:55 irregulars. You are regulars on your
5:57 Friday night date nights with your
5:59 nachos and your hot pockets.
6:03 Um, so last week I said that the new
6:06 image gen tool is a pretty big [ __ ]
6:09 deal. Um, then yesterday,
6:13 um, OpenAI also extended memory. If you
6:17 don't know this, you can,
6:21 um, when you talk to chat GPT now, it
6:24 knows your entire history. Like
6:26 everything you've ever chatted with it
6:27 about is now available to its memory. So
6:30 you can just say, "Hey, that time I was
6:33 talking about turtles at a carnival.
6:36 What what was I talking about?" And it
6:38 will go back in its memory and grab that
6:40 [ __ ] So that's pretty staggering. And
6:43 then and then I I just I just kind of
6:47 feel like every
6:49 tool has added so many features that
6:53 every single tool out there for the you
6:56 know like the big ones
6:58 um is some version of remarkable.
7:01 Brandon last night um told me about um
7:06 rabbit OS, right? So, you know, the
7:09 rabbit device that everybody ma made fun
7:12 of me for
7:13 buying. Screw you all for making fun of
7:17 me. You just said all it would become is
7:19 a little shelf object and I would never
7:21 use
7:22 it. And you were right. Don't get me
7:24 wrong. You were absolutely right. I
7:27 don't use it, but I still love the
7:29 design of it.
7:32 You have to you have to nag it to really
7:34 go back and then it will Yeah, I've
7:37 noticed that too, Lori. It it um it sort
7:40 of goes back in your past week or two
7:42 conversations. You're like, "No, no, no.
7:44 The the Wayback Machine, the ear the
7:46 early
7:47 conversations."
7:49 Um
7:51 but that
7:53 company released a thing
7:56 yesterday called an AI intern.
8:02 Okay. It's an agent. It's an autonomous
8:05 agent that does [ __ ] for you. What does
8:09 it do? Well, I had
8:11 it. So, so after the show last night,
8:14 Brandon and I were chatting and I just
8:15 threw into the into the agent. I wanted
8:17 to see the interface and it was fine.
8:19 It's just like a regular chat interface.
8:22 And then
8:23 um I said, "I want you to make me a
8:25 web-based theramin." So, if you don't
8:28 know what a theramin is, it's a musical
8:30 instrument that I think was invented in
8:32 the 50s. Um, where it uses resistance of
8:35 your hands to a metal object to make
8:38 sounds, right? And so, I wanted a
8:41 web-based version of that. And I said, I
8:43 want it to look magical. And then, you
8:45 know, it started
8:48 generating, you know what they do? They
8:50 I'm doing this now, and I'm thinking
8:52 about this now, and I'm doing this now,
8:53 and I'm doing this
8:54 now. Holy [ __ ] it like today today I I
8:59 like looked at the screen again and it
9:01 said, "Okay, here's all these files I
9:04 created." I'm like, "All right,
9:05 whatever." And then there was a download
9:07 all button. So, I downloaded all these
9:09 files and I dragged index.html to my web
9:12 browser and it [ __ ] worked right out
9:14 of the gate. So, I'll share I'll share
9:16 that with you.
9:19 Um, you know, Luma Labs generates
9:23 images, generates videos, has sort of a
9:26 file organization thing, generates sound
9:28 effects. Leonardo.ai generates images,
9:32 generates videos as of today, generates
9:34 sound effects. Um, Runway ML now has a
9:37 thing called frames where it's
9:39 generating images, generating videos. I
9:42 don't think Runway does sound effects
9:44 yet. It might. Um, but they've got this
9:47 thing called uh act one where you can
9:51 upload the someone talking and it'll map
9:55 it to a character like walking down the
9:56 street. So I just I and and then you
9:59 know obviously Open AI has got all of
10:02 its features.
10:04 Gemini just has gone on a a sort of
10:06 launch fest in the past week right
10:09 because they had their big event and so
10:11 there's all these new features out for
10:12 it. Um, I just I just honest to God feel
10:16 like it doesn't matter what tool you
10:18 pick, you can do some remarkable [ __ ]
10:22 Now, it helps if you know lots of tools
10:26 because every single one of them is
10:28 janky, has something that's [ __ ] up on
10:31 it, doesn't do one thing well, does
10:33 other thing, something like
10:36 that. Audio overview is in Gemini Deep
10:40 Research.
10:42 Oh, well, there's a there's a whole
10:43 another thing. So, you want to have so
10:46 so go do some deep and that's the other
10:49 thing. Yeah, Gemini added deep research
10:51 2.5 Pro, which from I've I've done two
10:55 or three of them now. They look pretty
10:57 [ __ ]
10:59 remarkable. I did. So, I was I had to
11:02 drive my boys south today down to not
11:05 south like south, but just south
11:08 Denver. And so I dropped them off and
11:10 then when I was coming back before I
11:12 took off, I just initiated a I think it
11:15 was a Gemini deep research thing and I'm
11:18 driving, you know, my phone there and
11:20 I'm just like watching it do its thing
11:22 and that's kind of what I did with the
11:23 rabbit thing last night where like it's
11:26 just doing its thing and then at the end
11:29 of it is a result. It's it's just
11:32 mind-blowing. So So we're
11:35 we're 100% in a new era. We're we're in
11:39 a new
11:40 era that started let's call it what's
11:44 today the
11:45 11th. Let's call it the the the end of
11:48 March, the beginning of
11:51 April. New
11:53 era. What's that era
11:56 called?
11:57 Um I don't know. Casual excellence.
12:02 Something like
12:03 that. All right. I'm glad I can use AI
12:06 now to earn enough to just about pay for
12:08 all my AI subscriptions I'm not using
12:11 I'm the same way I've got you know what
12:13 it is like like on nights like tonight I
12:16 saw a Twitter post about Leonardo I
12:19 haven't touched Leonardo in I don't know
12:23 [ __ ]
12:24 ages but it's now it's got a new
12:27 thing
12:29 I the era the era of A1 April 1st the
12:33 era F of
12:35 [Music]
12:41 A1. I did not buy a Humane pin. Those
12:45 [ __ ] were $800.
12:48 I mean, the thing about the
12:52 rabbit is this was
12:55 $200 and it's got a scroll wheel and
12:58 it's got a button and it's got a twirly
13:01 camera and it's got a screen and then
13:04 I
13:06 microphones. It's cool. Like it's just
13:09 it's a cool little [ __ ] piece of
13:11 industrial
13:14 design. 200 bucks. Couldn't go wrong.
13:16 And you know what? What I got? I spent
13:18 200 bucks on this. I got $200 worth of
13:21 Perplexity Pro for a year for free. So,
13:24 that didn't cost me anything. Well, or
13:27 Perplexity
13:31 didn't.
13:33 So, I was a I was a
13:36 [Music]
13:37 winner. Am I going to buy the new Google
13:39 glasses? No. I got I have PTSD from the
13:43 first Google Glass which I bought
13:45 thinking I would develop something for
13:47 Story Vine within it. Oh, I'm going to
13:50 I'm going to show you guys um a a a
13:53 prototype I put together of of a video
13:56 persona, two video
14:05 personas.
14:08 Um, again, it's amazing. Like, it's just
14:11 we're we're just at this weird place
14:13 where shit's
14:18 different. Yeah, I'm going to do that.
14:20 All
14:21 right. Apple VR is dead. You paid for
14:25 Perplexity and got the rabbit as a
14:27 bonus. Exactly. The era of our ways.
14:33 [Music]
14:58 in a westerly direction.
15:04 This car is my
15:06 train. Did I lose the dog? I lost the
15:09 dog. Been driving. I've been
15:13 wondering what it is I'm running from
15:15 [Music]
15:18 again. Feel like an idiot
15:22 man. Platform one. You c can do A but
15:25 not B. Yes. This is the era
15:29 of every tool can do four things and it
15:33 can do two of them
15:36 well. That's exactly right. And then
15:39 it's your job to figure out which
15:41 platforms can do the two things well and
15:44 then don't do the other two things in
15:45 that platform. Do it in some other
15:49 platform. Does he howl at the the he
15:52 looked at it funny? We'll see if he
15:53 does. I'll show it to you.
15:58 [Music]
16:21 Yeah. all day. Chat GPT has been able
16:24 unable to generate images for prompts
16:26 that it wrote for itself. I know. I
16:28 agree. They got to fix that [ __ ] It was
16:31 like they launched it, it did
16:33 everything, and then they said, "Oops,
16:35 we can't do everything. We're going to
16:36 get sued." And they backed it off and
16:38 they got to they got to [ __ ] fix it
16:41 again. Did I action figure myself yet? I
16:44 did. Um, let me go see if I can find Let
16:47 me Let me share my screen. Let's just
16:49 let's just jump into this [ __ ] shall
16:55 we? That's the dude I'm going to show
16:57 you in a second. But let me go to chat.
17:00 Jai. Um, let's see. Search for action
17:06 figure. I think I called myself an AI
17:16 something. Oh, no. This is Oh yeah. AI
17:29 instigator. You think it's easy being
17:31 me?
17:32 No. You think I want to look like
17:40 that? Oh, good lord. There. It made me
17:44 tubby and [ __ ] I'm so fat here. I don't
17:46 even fit in the blister
17:51 pack here. Here I'm even even fatter.
17:55 Champ Champ still looks
17:59 great. Look, that's that's the picture I
18:02 used of
18:04 Champy. Oh
18:07 yeah. Again, you know, it's taking me
18:11 and tubbing me out. Tubbing me out. It's
18:14 rude. It's
18:17 rude. AI is
18:21 rude. Uh, let's see what else we got
18:24 here. Action figure VHS cover
18:30 concept. Here's another action figure I
18:34 did. So, I uploaded the That's my the
18:37 Kyle Shannon Dreams
18:40 cowboy Biff Stockington. So there's my
18:44 there's my Biff
18:49 Stockington and then there's the Lego
18:51 set version. If you haven't done a Lego
18:53 set, that's another cool thing to
18:55 do. It's not the AI that makes you look
18:58 fat. Okay, that's just downright rude. I
19:01 am absolutely being trolled. I am being
19:03 trolled right now. People
19:05 trolled by the people that love me. It's
19:09 just it's it's rder AI.
19:16 You can animate those, right? Yeah, you
19:17 can. So, let's do
19:20 that. We'll do Biff
19:22 Stockington. So, let me download
19:25 this and then we'll go to
19:30 um I think you can probably do it in
19:32 almost anything. I think I've seen most
19:34 people doing it in Cling, but let's try
19:36 Luma Labs.
19:38 Luma
19:42 Labs. Try Dream
19:45 Machine.
19:55 Shrink. Something went wrong.
19:58 Why? What went
20:01 wrong? What? All right, [ __ ] it. We'll
20:05 go to cling. You don't want to do my st.
20:07 Oh, look at these things I did. These
20:09 are Oh, yeah. So, let me show you these.
20:11 So, you know, I'm I'm working on the the
20:13 musical
20:16 Sydney and and so I took our poster and
20:19 uploaded it
20:22 and had it make and that one's
20:25 hilarious. So, had it make a a marquee.
20:29 So, this is a very New York experience
20:32 is there's normal people walking and
20:34 then there's a guy wearing a box on his
20:37 head and it just added that it just
20:40 added the crazy box person from New
20:43 York. Um, that one's pretty good except
20:46 it screwed up the text on the
20:49 poster. This is that bolt
20:51 zoom which has got really cool stuff in
20:54 it. It's like a time lapse thing.
20:58 Isn't that
20:59 amazing? And these were just uploading
21:02 the image and saying, "Make me a an
21:04 image of Times Square." I did the
21:06 original images in Chat GPT and then
21:09 brought them
21:10 into Luma Labs to to turn into these
21:18 videos. Black bar. Oh, yes.
21:22 The prompt for the action
21:25 figure is in look what I made along with
21:27 mine. Okay,
21:29 cool. Groovy here. Let me go jump over
21:32 there for a second. So, by the way,
21:33 where I'm going right now is the A1
21:35 salon.
21:46 Here's
21:48 my A1 education tastes like progress.
21:53 Linda McMahon, Secretary of
22:01 Education. Oh, good
22:04 lord. Um, and then who did this one?
22:07 Cindy [ __ ] A1 A1
22:11 Edu. Intelligence that's artificial.
22:14 Pour it on.
22:20 You know, it used to be there was a
22:23 time, I call it the before time. There
22:26 was a time that if you wanted to do a
22:29 stupid meme, you actually had to have
22:33 skills. You had to like know how to
22:35 Photoshop [ __ ] and [ __ ] Now you don't.
22:38 You could just have a stupid idea and go
22:40 make
22:43 it. All right. Here's Brandon. Oh, nice.
22:45 Brandon Tid superhero. And Brandon Tid
22:49 also
22:50 included in the spirit of generosity.
22:53 There's the prompt that he used. All
22:55 right. So, if you're wondering, hey
22:58 everybody. Hey, Murphy. What's
22:59 happening? Happy Friday night date
23:02 night. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. It put
23:06 on it put on a few pounds for you there,
23:08 buddy, too. It's just not nice.
23:14 All right. Um, what are we going to do?
23:16 God, there's so much to do. I honest to
23:18 God, there's so much to do. All right.
23:21 Let me show you. I got to change
23:24 my I'm going to go to this
23:27 screen. What's that? The the RAM.
23:32 What? Um, I'm gonna stop sharing this.
23:36 Oh, the theramin. Yeah, I'll do the
23:38 Theramin, too. All right. Gonna do this.
23:42 We're gonna do this. We're gonna do
23:44 this. All right. So, I chopped off this
23:46 guy's name. So, this looks like a real
23:48 doctor. So, so here's what you're
23:51 looking
23:52 at. So, potential client that that we're
23:56 working for at StoryVine is intrigued by
23:58 our digital personas. And they were
24:01 like, could could we take like an
24:04 outofdate video of a
24:07 doctor and kind of reimagine it and have
24:11 him like have it look like him, have it
24:14 sound like him, and when he's talking
24:16 about a patient, actually bring that
24:18 patient story to life. So, what you're
24:21 looking at here is I don't I don't even
24:23 know all the tools I used. I used
24:25 probably seven or eight different tools,
24:27 but this
24:29 is the image was generated I think in
24:32 midjourney. Um, I cloned his voice. I
24:36 think I did I used two different tools.
24:37 I don't know which one I used in the
24:39 final. I used 11 Labs and I used
24:43 Cartisia. Cloned his voice, wrote a
24:47 script, generated the audio, and then
24:50 animated the audio. And then you'll
24:52 you'll meet a p a patient after you hear
24:54 him talk. And the patient uh was
24:58 completed was generated completely from
25:00 scratch, including designing his voice
25:03 by having chat GPT describe what his
25:05 voice sounded like. So
25:08 anyway, all right. It would be great to
25:10 create a stupid meme 16 seconds after
25:12 someone said something stupid. You could
25:14 probably automate that archetypal
25:17 architect. The automatics idiot meme
25:20 maker. Okay, here we go.
25:24 Who was diagnosed with multiple myoma
25:26 lambda type presenting with advanced
25:28 stage disease? Oh, wait, hang on. It
25:30 something's up with the lip sync. That's
25:33 clinic in Arizona before joining us at
25:35 clinical practice. This is an 81year-old
25:37 gentleman who was diagnosed with
25:39 multiple myoma lambda type presenting
25:41 with advanced stage disease. I'm Walt
25:44 Harrison. I'm 81, retired lineman, three
25:47 kids, five grandkids. A while back, I
25:50 went to the dock feeling worn out.
25:52 Figured it was just age catching up with
25:54 me, but turns out it was multiple myoma,
25:57 blood cancer, stage three. As you can
26:00 imagine, it was overwhelming with a lot
26:01 of treatments and a lot of back and
26:03 forth. Took a bit to get answers. And it
26:05 wasn't until I landed at the Mayo Clinic
26:07 that things really clicked. That's where
26:09 I met Dr. Fana. Given his age and
26:12 coorbidities including diabetes and
26:13 hypertension, he was not a candidate for
26:15 stem cell transplant. Yet through
26:17 thoughtful evidence-based care using a
26:20 triplet regimen of datamab lenolumide
26:22 and dexamethasone, he achieved a
26:23 complete response. I'll walk you through
26:25 his case and explain how we made
26:27 treatment decisions rooted in both the
26:29 data and the realities of treating older
26:31 adults with complex conditions.
26:34 Right? So crazy crazy
26:36 crazy stuff. like it's getting it's
26:38 getting I mean the thing about
26:41 that
26:43 is that's a fully automatable workflow.
26:47 Like the workflow that I did was a
26:49 manual thing.
26:51 But how I've been doing these things for
26:54 the past six months or so is I would I
26:56 would record myself acting the lines. I
26:59 would then swap my voice out. Um but at
27:02 that record that required me to record
27:05 the lines. This all of that was just
27:08 text to speech. The text to speech is
27:10 getting really good. The animation's
27:11 getting really good. The image
27:12 generation's getting really good.
27:14 So, is the doctor's voice a blend of
27:17 Putin and Schwarzenegger? No, it's
27:19 actually just I cloned his voice. That's
27:20 actually what he sounds
27:22 like. Pretty crazy, huh? Okay. So, so
27:26 let me show you the rabbit hole thing.
27:28 Now, here's here's one thing that's
27:30 weird. So, if you go to This is Brandon,
27:33 if you want to pop up a banner, this is
27:39 whole.rabbit.te. Yep. Working on the
27:42 tabs
27:45 now.
27:49 Whole.te.
27:50 Um, I cannot for the life of me figure
27:54 out how to find my previous
27:57 chat, but I still have it open in
28:00 another window. So, here it is.
28:04 So, so the the orange the orange prompts
28:08 here are my prompts and then the white
28:10 the white [ __ ] is what it responded.
28:12 That's the R1. This is what they call
28:15 the rabbit hole. You know how we talk
28:16 about the chat hole? So, if you go to
28:20 whole.rabbit.te. Oh, it's slashrabbitos
28:26 um it takes you to this chat GPT looking
28:29 thing, but it says in the upper leftand
28:31 corner here,
28:33 um right here, rabbit OS
28:38 intern. And so I said I said, make me a
28:41 theramin. And then it said, oh, I'll
28:43 give you the diagram so you can go build
28:44 one. And I said, "No, make me a synth
28:47 software version with a visual intuitive
28:50 interface." And then I said, "All right,
28:53 what platform do you want to use? What
28:54 prime programming languages?" blah blah
28:57 blah. So I said, "Webased. You pick the
29:00 platform. Mouse input is fine." And then
29:02 I said, "Make it look
29:04 magical." And then it just went off and
29:06 it said, "Great. I'll create a web-based
29:09 theramin using a mouse. Starting the
29:12 work uh starting plan generation task
29:15 initiated create a task research
29:18 theramin instrument instruments and
29:19 web-based audio synthesis research how
29:22 to do theramin instruments um file
29:26 generated uh a a markdown file I like it
29:30 was just doing this like Brandon and I
29:32 were talking sort of wrapping up the
29:33 night
29:36 um Joe Baker says hi Joe what's
29:38 happening just popping by to say hi.
29:41 Good to see you, sir. Um, and so it's
29:44 just doing all this [ __ ] It's doing all
29:45 this [ __ ] I left like I went and, you
29:48 know, watched TV, went to bed, went to
29:50 went to
29:51 work, and it just kept going, kept
29:54 running, running code to find and
29:56 displays things. Uh, file generated,
29:58 running code, running code, running
30:00 code. So, this is it
30:03 working. Then it got done. The task, the
30:05 original task was to prepare a final
30:07 deliverable, final output description,
30:10 root directory, the CSS directory, the
30:13 JS JavaScript directory, the images
30:16 directory. So like all this [ __ ] was in
30:19 there. And then over here on the left
30:21 hand
30:24 side, there was here's all the files
30:27 that I
30:28 generated. And then there was a download
30:30 all button. So I hit the download all
30:33 button.
30:34 and it gave me this
30:37 list which is like here's the CSS
30:41 folder, here's the images folder, here's
30:44 the JavaScript folder, and then there's
30:46 an
30:47 index.html. So, I don't know much about
30:51 when you when you generate a web app. I
30:54 don't know much, but the one thing I
30:56 know is you should be able to drag
30:58 index.html HTML over to your browser and
31:01 it will work.
31:03 Right?
31:05 So, let me switch my tabs
31:10 here. So, I
31:12 dragged
31:14 index.html
31:16 over and this is what it
31:20 made. It is a it is a magical theramin.
31:23 So what you can do is you can choose
31:26 sine wave, square wave, saw to or
31:28 triangle. Oh wait, am I not doing this
31:30 right? Why is it not
31:35 sharing? Hang on. I got to I got to
31:37 change something. Oh yeah, volume volume
31:41 warning. This is going to get really
31:43 loud. You're right. So get get ready.
31:55 Oh, it's not it's not showing you these
31:58 drop-own menus for some reason. Anyway,
32:00 there's drop-own menus, but there's a
32:02 start button here. So, I'll hit start.
32:05 So, there's our waveform. I'm going to
32:07 go around the outside. So, if you start
32:09 at the bottom, the volume is 0 to 100 up
32:13 and
32:14 down. And then frequency is left and
32:17 right.
32:26 [Music]
32:29 I stop that. And then I can switch it to
32:31 like a saw to which is a a grally one.
32:34 And I can do a reverb on it. And then
32:38 say start.
32:46 [Music]
32:46 [Applause]
32:52 [Music]
32:53 [Applause]
32:58 [Applause]
33:00 Isn't that [ __ ]
33:02 crazy? It's [ __ ] crazy. It's [ __ ]
33:07 crazy. This is the world we live in.
33:12 You can you can say to a thing, "Go make
33:14 me a thing." And walk
33:16 away. You come back and there's a
33:20 thing. And we're still in the janky
33:24 era, right? But like we're in we're now
33:26 in the A1 era, right? We were in the AI
33:29 era before, then we were in the
33:31 generative AI era, and now we're in the
33:34 A1
33:36 era. And the A1 era is this shit's
33:40 starting to
33:43 work, you know. And if if you hear if
33:46 you hear someone, especially engineers,
33:48 go, "Well, it can't really
33:50 code."
33:53 Well, it can. It did. Like, it went and
33:58 researched how do you build a
34:00 web-based synthesis machine? And it
34:03 researched what the were. So, it's doing
34:06 some deep research in
34:08 here and then it went and wrote code and
34:10 it made it magical looking. I mean, it's
34:13 pretty [ __ ] magical looking. Let's do
34:15 it. We'll do triangle wave with
34:18 distortion. Start.
34:20 [Music]
34:31 [Music]
34:36 [Music]
34:47 right?
34:49 Bonkers. Flipping
34:53 bonkers. All right,
34:56 so like I said, that was made at
34:59 whole.rabbit.te
35:01 Tech two starred comments. Did you
35:05 see Canvas new releases? Canva code
35:09 vectors all different format sizes. One
35:11 document. Not bad. Uh I haven't seen it,
35:14 Stacy. Here's a here's a a really
35:18 interesting thing about Canva.
35:25 Okay. So, Canva did to Adobe what Google
35:30 did to Microsoft with with their Google
35:34 Docs and Microsoft
35:37 365 where what Google figured out is
35:40 that most of the
35:43 features like 80% of the people are
35:46 going to use 20% of the features, right?
35:49 And so they said, "Let's just make 20%
35:51 of the features and then, you know,
35:53 people will use Google Docs and then
35:55 once they make all their [ __ ] in our
35:57 docs, they won't need to go to Microsoft
35:59 anymore." And it and it worked.
36:02 Um, you know, not completely, but big
36:05 chunk of market share. Canva did the
36:08 same thing to Adobe where they started
36:09 really simple and then what's happened
36:12 is they aggressively added a bunch of AI
36:15 tools which I thought was quite
36:16 brilliant.
36:18 But what happened was as they added like
36:21 Canva because because generating things,
36:27 graphics and things like that is really
36:29 complicated and there's kind of an
36:30 infinite number of variations. They have
36:32 all these templates and template
36:34 libraries and tools and then other tools
36:36 and then AI tools and then tools to roll
36:38 the tools together. Like so Canva has
36:41 has basically
36:44 suffered feature creep, right? which
36:47 makes it so complicated like you don't
36:49 even know where to start. Now, if they
36:53 can remove the interface complexity so
36:56 that you don't even have to worry about
36:57 that stuff, then great. But then you
37:01 look at something like image gen from
37:03 chat GPT where it can just automatically
37:06 put out an ad, right? So, I've got
37:10 um let's see where did I put it? I put
37:13 it in water cooler.
37:17 I did an AI salon
37:21 graphic. Where's
37:26 my Hang
37:29 on. Whoops. Tabs, tabs, tabs, tabs,
37:34 tabs, tabs, tabs, tabs, tabs, tabs,
37:37 tabs, tabs. You know, I did this. Now,
37:40 you you could argue the typography here
37:43 is is [ __ ]
37:46 um and boring, but I just I just wanted
37:48 something quick, right? It's just it was
37:50 just like a little meme creation, but I
37:54 didn't have to go to Canva. I didn't
37:55 have to learn the interface. So, the gap
38:00 between granular
38:03 control and a usable output is is
38:06 getting smaller and smaller and
38:08 smaller, right? And and it's similar
38:11 with a with a tool like SNO where you've
38:14 got it'll make a song, but if you want
38:18 to like swap out the voice or change the
38:20 instruments if you want granular
38:22 control, it's not easy to do, but it's
38:24 getting good enough that it really
38:26 doesn't matter for for you know 80% of
38:28 the 80% of the outputs. Um so yeah, so
38:33 anyway like again I we're we're we're in
38:35 we we have crossed some sort of
38:38 threshold.
38:41 Um, unless you want old chain smoker
38:45 stuff. All right. Did anyone see the guy
38:48 who made the AI
38:50 lawyer represent him in court? No, I
38:55 didn't.
38:57 Um,
38:59 no. How'd the AI lawyer do? We have all
39:03 the things that should replace Canva,
39:06 but we can't quit it. It's still
39:07 necessary. Yeah, exactly. It's still
39:09 necessary, but it's it's like the the
39:13 gap is shrinking. Like what they had
39:15 what they had before AI was simplicity
39:20 and a template-based approach, right?
39:22 Adobe has always resisted templates,
39:24 right? Adobee's about handcrafting
39:27 creative and and they're like, "We're
39:29 for the professionals. You want granular
39:32 control, that's Adobe." Canvas said,
39:35 "Well, we'll do we'll do web- based.
39:38 We'll do subscription-based. It'll be
39:41 cheaper. It'll be easier. Uh it'll be
39:44 less feature
39:46 bloated." And then as they've added
39:48 features, it's gotten more and more and
39:50 more complicated. And at some point they
39:54 they could disrupt themselves, right?
39:56 and just make a chat GPT like tool where
39:59 you just go in and you say make me a
40:02 thing that looks like the things you
40:05 know maybe I've got brand guidelines
40:06 uploaded to Canva and it just knows my
40:08 brand and I can just make [ __ ] that's
40:10 always brand appropriate right like and
40:12 and maybe those tools are there now but
40:14 you still have to sift through the old
40:16 way of working so you know yeah we're
40:20 not there yet but just like that coding
40:22 thing that the thing that I just did I
40:25 didn't have to touch that code, right?
40:27 If you've worked in lovable, you have to
40:29 spend a lot of time coaxing that thing
40:32 to build something that
40:34 works. I didn't touch a thing on that.
40:37 Now, listen, is it possible I just got
40:39 lucky?
40:41 Absolutely. But it was pretty [ __ ]
40:43 good. It's pretty [ __ ] good, you
40:47 know? Just like the the interface looks
40:50 really cool and
40:55 [Laughter]
40:58 Oh man. All right, let's see. Agree
41:01 about Canva, but it's getting better if
41:03 you set it up right. A place to store
41:05 and work on brand assets. They even
41:07 added spreadsheets today. Yeah. Amazing.
41:09 Next GPT needs the ability to export the
41:12 layers of the images. Yeah. Well, again,
41:15 so so the question Gareth becomes
41:19 this the your that statement that it it
41:23 needs the ability to export the
41:27 layers
41:29 assumes that it won't get good enough
41:32 that you can just fix [ __ ] right? And
41:35 just fix it on a layer specific thing
41:38 like fix the typography, change the
41:40 color here without it completely
41:42 reinventing it. Right? Now it it
41:43 completely recreates it every time.
41:48 Um but you have the level of granular
41:51 control that you have say in Adobe
41:53 Inesign or
41:55 Illustrator but you could just do it
41:57 with your
41:58 words. Would you need the layers? I
42:01 don't know. I don't know. I think new
42:05 people coming to graphic design won't
42:07 need the layers cuz they they won't give
42:10 a [ __ ] If you're a graphic designer and
42:12 spent 30 years perfecting layer
42:15 management and design, you're going to
42:17 want the layers. But, you know, don't
42:20 forget, we're the transition
42:23 people. We're the only ones in
42:27 history who will know what the world was
42:29 like before and what the world was like
42:32 after. Similar to the worldwide web, we
42:35 knew what it was like before. We knew we
42:37 now know what it's like after. It's
42:38 going to be the same with this AI stuff.
42:41 Crazy,
42:44 right? Oh, we forgot to do the animation
42:46 in Lumalabs. Yes, because Lumal Labs
42:48 started [ __ ] the bed. Let's see if
42:51 we can Let me Let me try it one more
42:53 time. Maybe it was a temporary
42:57 glitch. Okay.
43:00 Um, the action figure
43:06 cowboy walks
43:10 Uh, let's see. Climbs out of the
43:17 packaging and
43:21 walks forward as
43:25 camera. And then I'm going to go grab a
43:28 camera. We'll do Do we want to zoom out
43:30 or do we want to pull out? I think we
43:31 want to pull out. Yeah, we'll do we'll
43:35 do a pull out. All right, here we go.
43:44 [Music]
43:47 Black ball. Black ball. Hey, blackberry
43:49 jam. Hey, blackberry
43:59 [Music]
44:01 jam. You should always pull out on
44:03 Friday night taste night.
44:08 It's Cam Kekin from Cleveland. Cam
44:10 Kekin, we haven't seen you in a
44:12 while. I'm not used to using YouTube
44:15 chat in my VR space. Ah, well, good luck
44:18 figuring it out. Let us know if there's
44:19 anything we can do to support
44:21 you. That's cool. Let's um let's go try
44:24 this animation also in
44:27 Cling. And then maybe we'll try it in
44:29 one other thing. Cling. Let's see.
44:32 Cling. Clingai.com.
44:39 Oh, what app are we using tonight? Okay,
44:41 so so we're kind of all over the place
44:45 because I like normally when I do one of
44:49 these lives, there'll be like one or two
44:51 things that are top of mind for me and
44:54 I'll just do one tool. And what's
44:57 happened in the past week is so many
44:59 tools have gotten so good at the same
45:01 time that I'm just kind of all over the
45:03 place. I'm just trying to
45:05 like, you know, in the AI salon we talk
45:08 about, you know, one of the best ways to
45:10 get ready for AI and just get yourself
45:13 in the mindset of of being, you know, AI
45:16 ready is to play, right? Play first,
45:18 play first, play first. The tools are
45:21 getting so good now, like the the
45:23 playing is is generating results that
45:25 are like beyond just [ __ ] around.
45:28 Pretty amazing. So, uh, so we were just
45:31 in Luma Labs. So, so what have we played
45:33 with tonight? We played with
45:36 um Rabbit OS. So, the company that makes
45:39 the Rabbit R1
45:41 um now has a thing out called an intern,
45:44 which is an autonomous agent that will
45:46 build [ __ ] for you or do [ __ ] for you. I
45:49 think it it will do whatever you It
45:50 might do deep research as well, but it
45:52 wrote me a really cool app. Um now we're
45:56 in Luma Labs. We're taking one of the
46:01 uh one of the action figures that were
46:04 generated in chat GPT
46:07 um and seeing if we can animate it. And
46:08 then we're going to try it again in
46:10 Cling. So I think I've got access to
46:12 Cling, but I may not. Let's
46:15 see. Cling 1.6 model, new update, new
46:19 sound, AI sounds. So Cling now has AI
46:21 sounds as well. Has asset management. It
46:25 has extend. And now it has effects. Good
46:28 lord. All right.
46:32 Um, so there's frames. Here's elements.
46:35 We don't want elements. I think we want
46:37 frames, right? Oh, this is another
46:39 thing. Like, how do you know what to do?
46:41 Text to video. Image to video. Okay. So,
46:43 we want image to
46:45 video. So, here's our there's our
46:47 cowboy. That's who we're going to make
46:50 walk out of the packaging.
46:53 And then we're going to say um the
46:57 cowboy action
47:01 figure
47:03 climbs out of the
47:07 packaging and
47:09 walks
47:11 toward the
47:15 camera. Deep Seek inspiration and
47:18 presets.
47:21 Yeah, we'll go professional. We want
47:23 professional results. Of course we do. 5
47:26 seconds is fine. Do we have
47:30 camera? We've got motion
47:33 brush. Control the movement of objects.
47:36 Oh, that's kind of cool. Currently
47:38 unavailable in 1.6. All right. So, let's
47:44 [Music]
47:46 generate estimated wait time 1 minute.
47:49 Let's go back to luma.
47:51 All right. This thing's being dreamed up
47:53 for
47:58 us. I just want the AI to do everything.
48:00 I know.
48:03 Amalate. Oh, am I
48:06 late? I thought Amalate was a new AI
48:09 term that was part of the new A1
48:11 protocol.
48:19 Oh,
48:27 man. Oh, nice. Cam Catkin has me on the
48:30 big big screen in VR. That's super cool.
48:32 Hello. Good to see you. Welcome,
48:35 welcome, welcome, welcome, Gareth. Yeah,
48:38 I just want the AI to do
48:40 everything. I I also want the AI to do
48:43 everything. I was listening to a podcast
48:45 of some AI influencer types and uh and
48:49 they were talking about this idea of
48:52 uh yeah that it didn't really do what we
48:54 wanted it to do, did
48:58 it? I mean, it's it's cool, but it he's
49:01 not climbing out of
49:03 the he's not climbing out of
49:09 the Wait, why? What happened
49:15 here? There we
49:21 go. Oh, these window this window
49:24 management
49:29 [ __ ] All right, so this is Lumal
49:31 Labs. I would call this a
49:33 fail, right? Because our prompt was
49:36 crawl out of the packaging and walk
49:37 toward the camera. How's Clling doing?
49:39 Are we there?
49:42 All right,
49:44 Clint, Tik Tok pin. Kyle, can you remind
49:48 the nice people about Kim Offford's AI
49:50 film contest? Yes, I
49:52 can. What's the And put in here the name
49:55 of it. It was the playground something
49:57 and put the URL in. So, so Ann Murphy
50:01 and I, if you don't know, Ann Murphy,
50:03 badass AI, she she's big into A1 as
50:06 well. um she's an A1 educator just like
50:10 myself and uh a community builder. She's
50:13 got a a really amazing community called
50:16 She Leads AI. And so Ann and I on
50:19 Wednesdays have a podcast called the AI
50:22 readiness project. This past Wednesday
50:24 we had uh Kim Kim Offford, Kimberly
50:27 Offford um who's a an AI filmmaker. She
50:32 let you know what she's a filmmaker.
50:34 This is like she's a female director and
50:37 she's an AI filmmaker. No, no, she's
50:39 just a filmmaker. Um,
50:42 and a really talented one and and
50:45 actually got approached by a Grammy
50:47 award-winning musician and and made a
50:49 whole music video for this Grammy
50:51 award-winning musician. Um, and her her
50:53 day job is as a real estate agent. And
50:56 so, so like like a lot of people that
50:59 have stories to tell and and a
51:02 willingness to learn these tools, she
51:04 does really good. So anyway, she decided
51:07 that she wants to do um a a film
51:11 contest. And so the film contest is at
51:16 playground.ai. playgroundime.aicontest.
51:22 And so I think you've got another week
51:25 or two to enter. Um and she's looking
51:28 for, you know, voices of diversity or
51:30 voices of, you know, disenfranchised
51:34 um communities. Um and uh so so jump in
51:38 there. She's got three days. April 15th
51:40 is the is the cutoff. So here's here is
51:44 a uh weekend project for you. We like to
51:47 give homework over the weekends. A good
51:50 thing would be play with some of these
51:52 AI tools, play with some of the sound
51:54 effects tools, play with some of the
51:55 image generation tools, make a movie
51:58 this weekend and enter it into that
52:00 contest. Why not? Why not? All right,
52:03 let's
52:04 see how this did. Why is this
52:09 not It's not
52:12 loaded. Okay, there we go. Oh, god damn
52:17 it.
52:25 Come
52:27 on.
52:29 Right. Dang. All right, we need to do 10
52:32 seconds. Let's do it again. We're going
52:35 to do 10
52:37 seconds. And walks toward the camera
52:41 as the
52:43 camera pulls out.
52:47 always pull out on a
52:48 Friday. One output's
52:51 fine. Oh my god, this black bar thing.
52:55 What happens is if in my window over
52:58 here I go full screen with a
53:01 video, it screws it up over there. All
53:04 right. Or I mean it it repositions that
53:07 window.
53:09 Apple Apple in their latest update to
53:12 their operating system, there's some
53:13 sort of window management thing that if
53:15 you move a window
53:17 quickly, it expands it to fill the whole
53:20 screen. And so it's it's got all this
53:22 weirdass logic
53:25 about I guess what they're considering
53:27 intuitive behavior, but it's totally dis
53:31 disorienting. Um, April 15th is also the
53:34 meet and greet. Yeah. So, next next
53:36 Tuesday
53:38 um is the AI salon. It's the third
53:41 Tuesday of the month and it's the AI
53:43 salon meet and greet. So, put into your
53:46 calendars that you should join the A1
53:50 salon if you
53:58 haven't
53:59 beautiful na business na business is on
54:04 YouTube AI salon or she leads AI. Um, so
54:08 the AI salon is a community of AI
54:10 optimist and gastronomic
54:12 explorers. But if you if you join the AI
54:16 salon, go to the salon.ai and say join
54:18 our community. And then when you're over
54:20 here, jump into
54:22 events and then next Tuesday, the salon
54:26 meet and greet. This third one down.
54:29 RSVP for the event. Okay? It's tax day.
54:33 It's the salon day and we're in the A1
54:36 era. So why would you not come to
54:38 this? Also, if you're new here, Ann and
54:42 I talk about this a lot on the AI
54:44 readiness project. I talk about this a
54:46 lot on this channel. We talk a lot about
54:47 this on the salon. Getting in community
54:51 right now, getting into an AI forward
54:57 community is going
54:59 it's I think it's a requirement at this
55:03 point. Like you cannot keep up with
55:06 everything that's happening. I can't I
55:08 mean honest to God I
55:11 like I got the good ADHD brain right
55:14 where I can do I can f fast synthesize
55:16 things. I can look at three points of
55:18 data and see the whole picture. So I can
55:21 get stuff I can gro stuff like that. I
55:24 can't I can't keep up anymore. Like if
55:27 if you're someone that needs a lot of
55:30 information to understand something or
55:32 to make a decision on something, this
55:33 has got to be even more overwhelming. So
55:36 the the absolute necessity right now is
55:40 surround yourself with people that are
55:42 also trying to figure this
55:45 out. We we had an AI office hours today
55:48 that was absolutely remarkable. We were
55:50 just talking about, you know, the
55:52 implications of Chat GPT's new long
55:54 memory and just everyone came with all
55:58 these ideas and all these different
55:59 experiences and it was remarkable. Vicki
56:02 had this the coolest idea. She was like,
56:05 she said to chat GPT, "Go find me every
56:08 business idea I've ever talked to you
56:10 about, but never done anything with."
56:12 And it found 65 of them in her chat
56:15 history with it. And it made a
56:16 spreadsheet. Now she's got a prioritized
56:19 spreadsheet of all these business ideas.
56:21 And I don't know, what is it? Once a day
56:23 you're going to spin up a new business,
56:25 Vicki, until your head
56:28 explodes. What does the A1 stand for?
56:31 Okay, let's go. Let's go. Let's go find
56:35 the A1 comment and then I I'll show you
56:39 the the h it's so embarrassing. Um we'll
56:43 do YouTube. I think that we'll be able
56:46 to find
56:47 it. A1
56:50 uh Linda
57:06 This is just a YouTube short, so we'll
57:08 do this.
57:19 Ding ding ding
57:21 ding. Oh, what is going on
57:25 here? I don't flipping
57:32 know. Let's see.
57:50 I guess it'll be in this little short.
57:52 Um, I heard I think it was a letter or
57:56 report that I heard this morning. I wish
57:57 I could remember the source, but that
57:59 there is a school system that's going to
58:00 start um making sure that first graders
58:04 or even preks have A1 teaching, you
58:07 know, every year starting, you know,
58:08 that far down in the grades. And that's
58:10 just a that's a wonderful thing. Kids
58:12 are sponges. You they just absorb
58:15 everything. And so wasn't all that long
58:17 ago that it's we're going to have
58:18 internet in our schools. Whoop. Now,
58:20 okay, let's do C A1. And how and how can
58:23 that be helpful? How can it be helpful
58:25 in one-on-one instruction? How can it be
58:27 helpful in absorbing, you know, more
58:29 information for those fast learners? It
58:31 can be more one- on-one uh directed. And
58:35 those are the kinds of things and
58:36 innovations that I want to see continue
58:38 to develop.
58:39 I heard
58:43 kids kids as young as first graders are
58:46 going to get
58:50 A1. So, you know, we did some in the
58:54 irregulars. If you go to the irregulars
58:55 channel there, you can see some uh some
58:58 comedy. We did some comedy. Um, hang on.
59:01 I got to change something here. Tabs.
59:03 Oh, I got to change tabs again, too.
59:04 Hold, please.
59:10 Tang. Oh,
59:14 nice.
59:19 Beauty. There's There's A1 Education.
59:22 This is a a sticker I made. A1
59:25 education. Tastes like progress. Linda
59:27 McMahon, Secretary of
59:29 Education. Like A1 on my steak. Yes.
59:33 Yes. Yes. As a matter of fact, this is
59:35 from Cindy [ __ ] the A1 edu USA.
59:40 Intelligence that's
59:45 artificial. So, we are now in the A1
59:48 era. So, if you didn't know that, I'm so
59:50 embarrassed by our
59:52 government.
59:54 Oh, it's so bad. It's so
59:58 bad. Yeah. What are you going to do?
1:00:00 Tastes like progress.
1:00:05 I did I also did an ad for the for the
1:00:07 AI salon. Wait, where did I put that?
1:00:10 Did I put
1:00:12 it? I know I put it on
1:00:30 [Music]
1:00:31 X. There's the A1
1:00:34 salon, a community of AI optimists and
1:00:37 gastronomic
1:00:38 [Laughter]
1:00:45 explorers. Oh my god, I love Okay, the
1:00:49 new age of trolling and bullying is the
1:00:52 best. Can I just say that? Sure. As as
1:00:56 my son Zach said to me, "Dad, you're
1:00:58 funny, but you're mean." I know. And now
1:01:01 I can be mean with better
1:01:06 graphics. She's Vince Vince McMahon's
1:01:08 wife. Yes. And if you don't know who
1:01:10 Vince McMahon is, he's the uh is it or
1:01:13 is it his wife or is it his sister? I
1:01:15 think it might be Vince McMahon's
1:01:16 sister. I don't know. Whatever. Could be
1:01:19 wife. Uh they're the WW the World
1:01:23 Wrestling Group
1:01:26 organization. That was their claim to
1:01:28 fame. Um, all right. Let's go back to
1:01:30 Cling. Let's look at our 10-second our
1:01:33 10-second movie of our
1:01:35 cowboy. You're funny, but you're meme.
1:01:37 Yeah, there you go. Yeah, that's good. I
1:01:39 like it. L'Oreal is coming in with the
1:01:42 the
1:01:44 action. It looks like he's taking a
1:01:50 dump, right? Oh. Oh, he got his his
1:01:53 guitar turned into a turned into a gun.
1:01:57 I like it.
1:02:03 Yeah. Don't [ __ ] with Don't [ __ ] with
1:02:06 Biff
1:02:08 [Laughter]
1:02:11 Stockington. It's a little block on the
1:02:14 tray. Tofu. No, this one has a pile of
1:02:16 poop. It's got a a [ __ ] emoji. This one
1:02:19 of the one of the
1:02:21 things. Watch this guitar. It's a gun.
1:02:28 I mean, not for nothing. That's pretty
1:02:30 [ __ ]
1:02:32 cool. Crazy. Now, I should Can I add
1:02:36 audio? AI
1:02:39 sound. There goes that stupid thing
1:02:42 again. So, here's AI sound.
1:02:53 Um, cowboy boots lightly on flat
1:02:56 surface. Guitar strings gently strummed.
1:02:59 Revolver clicks
1:03:00 occasionally. Um, let's
1:03:03 see.
1:03:06 Um,
1:03:09 cinematic
1:03:11 music
1:03:14 bed generate.
1:03:22 Estimated waiting time about six
1:03:23 minutes. Okay, 30 seconds. That's
1:03:26 better. That we can wait
1:03:29 for. So like th this is a really good
1:03:32 example
1:03:34 of you don't need to make the images in
1:03:37 this tool, but you
1:03:39 can you could go over to 11 Labs to make
1:03:42 sound effects. You could do could go to
1:03:44 a sound effects library to pull sound
1:03:46 effects, but then you'd have to edit
1:03:48 them together. So now I can just go in
1:03:50 and design this. Now, is the sound going
1:03:52 to be good? Probably not, but let's find
1:03:57 out. Let's go change our tab so you can
1:04:00 all
1:04:01 hear. Stop
1:04:03 presenting. Start
1:04:09 presenting. Ding ding ding
1:04:17 ding. That's
1:04:19 [Music]
1:04:28 one. That's
1:04:34 bad. All
1:04:36 [Music]
1:04:47 right, those are all
1:04:49 bad. So, let's cowboy boots thud lightly
1:04:52 on the flat surface. Guitar strings
1:04:54 gently strummed revolver click. I'm
1:04:56 going to get rid of cinematic music bad.
1:04:59 I'm going to get rid of Let's see.
1:05:02 Guitar string. So, let's see.
1:05:07 Cowboy
1:05:10 escapes
1:05:13 plastic
1:05:18 packaging. Boot thud lightly on flat
1:05:22 surface as
1:05:25 guitar magically transforms into a gun.
1:05:35 with a uh with a
1:05:37 whoosh.
1:05:40 Whoosh.
1:05:47 Generate sound prompt or generate sound
1:05:50 for
1:05:51 video. How do I do that?
1:06:00 Oh, maybe it did it on its own. You can
1:06:03 work on other projects or explore in our
1:06:07 community. This is crazy. That's really
1:06:09 good. He needs Rawhide theme song. Yeah,
1:06:12 exactly. I'm laughing so much tonight.
1:06:14 A1 Biff and his guitar gun. This
1:06:17 timeline is wild, isn't it? We're in the
1:06:20 [ __ ] weirdest timeline, Cam. It's so
1:06:22 true. We're like in this like what is
1:06:25 happen? Just even the ability to
1:06:28 take this this image of me as a cowboy I
1:06:32 made back in
1:06:34 2022 that's like low res crappy whatever
1:06:39 and to be able to just upload that into
1:06:41 this thing name the guy Biff Stockington
1:06:43 and say turn this into an action figure
1:06:45 and then it turns it into an action
1:06:51 figure.
1:06:56 Close. Yeah, this is bizarre. It's
1:07:05 crazy. Got it timing all
1:07:13 up. All right. It doesn't quite
1:07:15 understand the timing, but that's all
1:07:17 right. Let's go. You know what? Let's
1:07:20 go. Let's go make another Oh, let's I I
1:07:22 know what we can do. We're going to go
1:07:23 make another video. Video generation.
1:07:25 So, we're going to start here. Do we
1:07:27 have a prompt? Yeah. Cowboy action
1:07:30 figure climbs out of the
1:07:35 packaging,
1:07:41 grabbing the
1:07:44 guitar as he
1:07:48 goes. and strums it. Strums the
1:07:54 guitar as he
1:07:57 walks toward the
1:08:05 camera as the camera pulls out. And
1:08:09 let's do two
1:08:12 outputs. Yeah, I'm good. I've got enough
1:08:14 credits for
1:08:16 this. Boom. All right. So, now we're
1:08:18 going to have hopefully the the guitar
1:08:21 doesn't turn into a gun
1:08:23 [Laughter]
1:08:28 now. Oh my
1:08:33 [Music]
1:08:36 god. Date. Okay. While that's
1:08:41 rendering, another place to go play if
1:08:45 you haven't. So, so for vibe
1:08:48 coding, for vibe
1:08:53 coding, if you know nothing about
1:08:57 code, you've got
1:08:59 lovable. You now have rabbit. Rabbit OS
1:09:03 intern I think lives in this area where
1:09:06 it it can do complete things without
1:09:08 you. Just tell it to make a web
1:09:09 application and and see what it does.
1:09:12 you need to know how to like drag a
1:09:15 file, you know, download the package and
1:09:17 drag a file to your browser, but
1:09:19 relatively straightforward. You got
1:09:21 Lovable, you got that. And now this is
1:09:23 the new Google tool, Firebase Studio. So
1:09:26 Firebase within Google is a is a uh an
1:09:30 authentication platform, suite, I don't
1:09:32 know, whatever. It's how you
1:09:33 authenticate [ __ ] in Google. But if you
1:09:35 go to studio.firebase.google.com,
1:09:39 google.com. It's now like lovable and it
1:09:42 will just spin [ __ ] up and it'll create
1:09:44 an interface for you. Like I did this
1:09:46 one called Retro Rocks which was an
1:09:48 asteroid
1:09:56 clone. We'll see if it loads up. Let's
1:09:59 Oh, you're not looking at any of this.
1:10:01 Damn it. I [ __ ] hate this.
1:10:05 not enough to do something about it
1:10:07 apparently. Apparently I just like the
1:10:15 drama. All right. So over at Firebase
1:10:21 Studio. So similar to other sort of
1:10:24 things like this, you have your chat
1:10:26 window to the right. This is the app the
1:10:28 application window that it's that's
1:10:30 building. So, it's it's getting ready to
1:10:32 launch that right now or it's launching
1:10:34 it, whatever it's
1:10:36 doing. And then this is another one
1:10:38 where you just talk an app into
1:10:40 existence. So, here's, you know, my
1:10:42 Asteroids game. So, there's my little
1:10:47 thing and it doesn't quite work.
1:10:49 Everything's broken, but you know, but
1:10:52 I'm like zipping
1:10:54 around, you know, my fake Asteroids
1:10:56 game.
1:10:59 It's got four issues in the lower
1:11:01 corner. So, is that a paid Google app? I
1:11:04 have no idea. I would say just go to
1:11:12 studio.firebase.google.com. And again,
1:11:18 like like if I were to give you weekend
1:11:20 homework this weekend, it would
1:11:24 be go to chat GPT and really explore
1:11:28 image
1:11:29 gen. Okay? Because that you could take
1:11:32 the whole weekend just figuring out all
1:11:34 the all the different things that Image
1:11:36 Gen can do. Then I would say spend the
1:11:40 whole weekend exploring your chat
1:11:42 history in chat
1:11:44 GPT, right? It now has access to your
1:11:47 entire chat history. What does that
1:11:48 mean? How do you use it? What's it good
1:11:50 at? Where's it
1:11:52 janky? Then you could
1:11:54 take like these are all full weekend
1:11:58 projects. You could you could take any
1:12:00 one of the vibe coding tools. Rabbit,
1:12:04 Firebase Studio, Lovable, or Replet are
1:12:07 the four that I would play with. You
1:12:09 could maybe throw Manis in there if you
1:12:12 want and have it create an application
1:12:15 for you. What kind of application? I
1:12:18 don't know. Figure out something you're
1:12:19 passionate about. Make an
1:12:24 app. And then the fourth one is make a
1:12:27 movie for Kimberly Offford's um contest.
1:12:32 You have you have three
1:12:34 days three days in A1
1:12:37 time is is like three months in the
1:12:40 before
1:12:41 time. So I would say any one of those
1:12:44 four things is your is your homework
1:12:45 this weekend. So let me let me put them
1:12:47 down again.
1:12:48 Um spend the weekend with Image Gen,
1:12:51 spend the weekend with your prompt
1:12:53 history. Vibe code something or
1:12:57 vibe storytell m make vibe cinema and go
1:13:02 enter a
1:13:03 contest and attend the learn out loud
1:13:06 there's oh there's a learn out loud
1:13:07 let's jump back to chat
1:13:10 gpt A1 education tastes like
1:13:17 progress okay um tomorrow at 3 p.m.
1:13:21 automate this an N8N um LOL learn out
1:13:25 loud with Scott Foresight. So if you
1:13:27 don't know what N8N N8N
1:13:31 is, it's like Zapier but with some more
1:13:35 cojones. Um and the the the development
1:13:38 community seems to be embracing NADN. Um
1:13:42 that it's incredibly powerful. I kind of
1:13:43 feel like Zapier's a little long in the
1:13:45 tooth and NADN I think is a more modern
1:13:48 version of it. So, go attend that.
1:13:51 Yes. Winston. Hey everybody. Been busy.
1:13:54 I'll be back next week. Cool. Good to
1:13:56 see you though. Stoic in the corner.
1:13:59 Okay. First of all, 9.5 out of 10 on the
1:14:02 name. Love it. Can somebody write that
1:14:03 down so I can copy it? He said it too
1:14:05 fast for me. Yeah. Um, Brandon, will you
1:14:09 will you write down those four things
1:14:10 and just throw them in a banner or
1:14:12 something like that on the on the tick
1:14:15 on the YouTube?
1:14:18 Wait, where else can Oh, you know where
1:14:19 I'll put them? Wait, wait, no. I've got
1:14:21 I've got the thing I'll do. We're going
1:14:24 to put them in in the AI
1:14:27 salon. Um the AI learning lab channel in
1:14:30 the AI salon. Okay. So, I'm going to go
1:14:34 homework for the
1:14:39 weekend.
1:14:43 Um there is so much to
1:14:50 explore. Um, here are four
1:14:57 options
1:14:59 of things you
1:15:03 could
1:15:05 spend the weekend
1:15:08 on. All right. one
1:15:14 um deeply
1:15:17 explore the new
1:15:20 uh IM AGN
1:15:26 uh
1:15:28 image
1:15:30 creation within chat
1:15:35 GPT. All right.
1:15:40 two
1:15:42 um deeply
1:15:49 explore long-term
1:15:52 memory and I'm going to put in
1:15:54 parenthesis access
1:15:57 to all of your
1:16:00 chats in chat
1:16:04 GPT. And then I think with this one I'm
1:16:06 going to put some sub bullets.
1:16:10 Um, what is it good
1:16:18 at?
1:16:25 Um, what does it suck
1:16:33 at?
1:16:35 What are
1:16:39 some
1:16:41 mindblowing use cases you can
1:16:45 discover there. That's a good three
1:16:48 things to play with. All right, number
1:16:51 three. Um, vibe
1:16:54 code an
1:16:58 app using one of the following.
1:17:03 This is actually really
1:17:04 good if I if I do say so.
1:17:13 Lovable.dev.
1:17:16 Um, what was what was the rabbit
1:17:20 one?
1:17:21 Whole.rabbit.te. Here, let me copy
1:17:27 this. There's that one.
1:17:36 Um, Replet
1:17:47 agent
1:17:55 Manisim. All right. And then
1:17:59 four, make a
1:18:07 film for
1:18:10 Kimberly
1:18:13 Offwards
1:18:15 contest
1:18:20 at And then what was it? It was
1:18:22 playground. Oh, here it is.
1:18:25 Playground Pastime AI
1:18:29 uh
1:18:30 https colon
1:18:35 slash
1:18:37 playground
1:18:40 pastime pastime only has one t
1:18:44 pastime. That's weird to me. The English
1:18:46 language is [ __ ] weird. It should
1:18:48 have two T's in it. Slashcontest.
1:18:52 Vicki probably knows why it
1:18:54 doesn't, but she's weird like that.
1:18:59 Okay. All right. Got
1:19:02 it. Oh, you want to see something
1:19:06 cool? Let's try
1:19:09 this. Okay. I'm going to screenshot
1:19:17 this to the clipboard. Bang.
1:19:25 Five. If you include
1:19:28 what? Oh, did I not put Firebase Studio?
1:19:31 Oh, I knew I missed one. Okay, wait.
1:19:33 Yeah, you're
1:19:35 right. Um, Firebase Studio. Yeah,
1:19:38 because that one's good, too. Oh, here
1:19:40 was the thing about Firebase Studio that
1:19:42 I I didn't Again, there's so much
1:19:45 [ __ ] going on. I can't keep [ __ ] in
1:19:47 my head anymore, people.
1:19:50 Firebase Studio is really fast. Like
1:19:52 when it writes code and you're like
1:19:54 something's broken, it's just like zip
1:19:56 zip. Like it's it's it's really it's
1:19:59 really good. So, okay.
1:20:05 Studio.firebase.google.com is the fifth
1:20:07 one. So, so there you go. Within chat
1:20:10 GPT, there are two major new rabbit
1:20:12 holes. There are five different vibe
1:20:15 coding tools that I think are worth your
1:20:17 time to at least play with.
1:20:19 And then there are so many tools to make
1:20:21 video and images and sound effects and
1:20:24 all that sort of [ __ ] and music. All
1:20:26 those tools, you should be able to just
1:20:28 [ __ ] make a film this
1:20:30 weekend. So, go do that.
1:20:35 Okay. Oh, and then go to Scott's L
1:20:38 tomorrow. The uh the learn out loud.
1:20:42 Okay. So,
1:20:43 let's take a screenshot of this. Watch
1:20:46 this. This is going to be [ __ ] cool.
1:20:49 All right, we're going to go to chat
1:20:50 JPT. Chat
1:20:52 JPAT. Can someone write that down? Yes,
1:20:55 I'm in the middle of that. We're going
1:20:56 to It's going to get even better than
1:20:58 that. Oh, I didn't publish that yet, did
1:21:00 I? No. But watch. So, I'm going to paste
1:21:02 in that thing there. I'm going to
1:21:05 say, can you
1:21:08 make all uh all of the info
1:21:14 in this
1:21:21 graphic into an image of
1:21:26 a green
1:21:31 chalkboard above the chalkboard?
1:21:36 board is a
1:21:39 banner that
1:21:41 says AI learning lab. Oh, let's do A1
1:21:45 learning lab. A1 learning
1:21:48 [Laughter]
1:21:50 lab
1:21:53 weekend
1:21:59 homework. All right. And
1:22:03 then all of the
1:22:06 text
1:22:07 is written out
1:22:11 clearly on the
1:22:17 chalkboard. All of the text from the
1:22:20 uploaded image. From the uploaded image.
1:22:24 If this works. See? So what I'm doing
1:22:27 right now is is like a version of the
1:22:30 homework. Like will this work? I don't
1:22:32 know. Probably not, but it can read
1:22:35 images, right? So it can pull the text
1:22:38 out of that image and it can make other
1:22:41 [ __ ] So let's see if we can make a nice
1:22:43 AI learning lab A1 Learning Lab
1:22:47 um homework chalkboard. And then maybe
1:22:49 this becomes a new tradition on Friday
1:22:50 night date
1:22:53 night. A1 because it's top-notch and
1:22:59 saucy YouTube spotlight. We're going to
1:23:03 have to have people who can't find the
1:23:05 A1 salon. I know. It's so
1:23:08 true. I did put the real URL on the on
1:23:11 the ad that I I I published from the um
1:23:15 from the official AI Salon website or or
1:23:18 Twitter Twitter page, which I thought
1:23:20 that was probably in bad taste, but I
1:23:22 don't give a [ __ ] This is This is A1
1:23:29 awesome. Oh,
1:23:31 man. All right. So, let's
1:23:35 see. Yeah, the A1 the A1 jokes just keep
1:23:38 on giving. Look, AI learning
1:23:40 lab weekend
1:23:43 homework one. deeply explore the things
1:23:46 with the new image
1:23:51 generate within. Okay. Lovable.dev.
1:23:54 That's right.
1:23:58 Whole.rabbit.te.rabbit os. But it's it's
1:24:00 two bs. You're going to have to figure
1:24:02 that out on your own. Replet agent
1:24:04 manis.im. Those are all
1:24:07 fine. Did it get everything? I think it
1:24:10 got everything.
1:24:15 Yeah, it did. Holy
1:24:18 [ __ ] That's [ __ ]
1:24:21 staggering. Look at
1:24:26 this A1 Learning
1:24:31 Lab. So, like it can do
1:24:35 that. I've already started your homework
1:24:37 for you. Write some
1:24:40 text that you want to present to
1:24:44 people and have it just go [ __ ] make
1:24:47 it. Look, we're
1:24:49 gonna Please remove your current
1:24:51 attachment. I don't have a current
1:24:52 attachment. Oh, yeah, I do. Not now. I
1:24:54 don't. Watch
1:24:57 this. Downloads. Downloads. Desktop.
1:25:03 Desktop. No.
1:25:08 I thought I downloaded it. Didn't I
1:25:10 download it? What's going on here,
1:25:17 people? Save image
1:25:20 as
1:25:23 homework.
1:25:25 Homeworker
1:25:29 downloads homework.g G
1:25:33 GPG
1:25:37 homework.
1:25:39 Oh, really?
1:25:43 [ __ ] If you've seen this before, you
1:25:45 know what's going
1:25:47 on. Office hours memories
1:25:50 downloads. Got to export this as a JPEG.
1:26:08 [Music]
1:26:10 Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding
1:26:13 ding ding ding ding ding. Oh, come on,
1:26:16 [ __ ] You can do it. You can do
1:26:21 [Music]
1:26:25 it.
1:26:29 Oh, this makes me achech inside. It
1:26:33 makes me
1:26:34 hurt. Technology sucks. And then you
1:26:38 have to use it. It's all janky. It's all
1:26:42 bad. It's the worst it will ever be. At
1:26:46 some point in the
1:26:48 future, you can upload [ __ ] with glee.
1:26:52 All right, we're going to try this some
1:26:54 other way.
1:26:55 We're going to go
1:26:57 here and we're going to go
1:27:05 screenshot. I think what's going on is I
1:27:08 think OpenAI has done something with
1:27:10 their file format where they got rid of
1:27:12 WEBP, but they're using like some 1956
1:27:16 version of
1:27:18 [Laughter]
1:27:21 PNG. All right. Oh, now I've got now my
1:27:24 now my issue is I've also got um two
1:27:28 different uh desktop folders on this
1:27:33 computer. So, the screenshot I just took
1:27:34 isn't in this desktop. It's in another
1:27:37 one.
1:27:42 Screenshot. Oh,
1:27:45 Lord. You people don't know what what
1:27:48 it's
1:27:49 like. We know what it's like. All
1:27:52 [Music]
1:27:55 right, there it is. Right. Open. Come
1:27:58 on. All right. So, here's what we're
1:28:00 going to have to do. We're going to have
1:28:02 to publish this. Oh, we can't. Select
1:28:05 all.
1:28:09 Cut. We'll put the image in
1:28:13 first. What's going on? Do I need to I
1:28:17 don't get it. I don't get it, people.
1:28:20 It could be a number of tabs you have
1:28:22 open. You know, that seems like an
1:28:23 irresponsible number of tabs you have
1:28:25 open there, Kyle. I don't know if you
1:28:27 knew
1:28:29 [Music]
1:28:31 that. Hi, did it paste. So, now you have
1:28:39 both. Is he always this much of a
1:28:41 douche? Yeah, pretty much.
1:28:46 A1 Learning Lab weekend homework.
1:28:50 Homework for the
1:28:52 weekend. All right, there's one typo.
1:28:55 Rabbit OS has two B's in it.
1:28:59 Okay, that's on you. This is
1:29:02 Listen,
1:29:04 seriously, what do we teach here? Well,
1:29:07 nothing because because I have no
1:29:10 qualifications. But what do we talk
1:29:12 about here? You got to use your thinky
1:29:14 brain. Sometimes you got to use your
1:29:15 critical thinking. If you're looking at
1:29:18 whole.rabbit.te and there's two B's and
1:29:20 then it says slashrabbit
1:29:23 ooss and there's one
1:29:26 B. There's a pattern inconsistency
1:29:28 there. Got to do some pattern matching.
1:29:31 People use the thinky brain. All
1:29:34 right. And you're like, "But Kyle,
1:29:36 couldn't you go fix that in Photoshop?"
1:29:38 I could.
1:29:40 [Laughter]
1:29:44 Typo in number one. Yeah, there's a typo
1:29:46 in number one too.
1:29:50 Crethin, which Crethin, as we all know,
1:29:54 translates to create
1:29:56 within just like AI translates to A1.
1:30:00 It's it's a onetoone swap. You take out
1:30:02 the I, you replace it with a one. AI is
1:30:05 now A1. That's what we're going to teach
1:30:07 our kids. All right, it missed number
1:30:10 two. Oh, well. So, there you
1:30:14 go. Oh, let's let's see if we can go fix
1:30:17 it. If we can go fix it, we'll we'll fix
1:30:19 it. Uh uh uh
1:30:21 uh. Okay. Let's see. Um make the
1:30:27 chalkboard more
1:30:30 realistic and photographic.
1:30:37 Photographic.
1:30:39 Um,
1:30:41 and you
1:30:45 missed number two
1:30:49 entirely.
1:30:52 Entirely try
1:30:55 again. And and what what we will likely
1:30:59 experience here. So
1:31:00 So you get the joy of the victory like I
1:31:03 just had and then someone points out,
1:31:05 oh, it missed a whole section. Right.
1:31:07 And now I'm going to go in and tell it
1:31:09 to fix it. And this will start what is
1:31:12 likely a 4hour detour to try to get it
1:31:15 to make this image
1:31:19 correctly. Scroll down for new images
1:31:22 where in uh in
1:31:24 this in this here thing here. Let me
1:31:28 while while people are still there, I'm
1:31:30 going to put a
1:31:31 disclaimer. Um let's edit this. Edit
1:31:34 post.
1:31:40 Um,
1:31:41 note
1:31:44 image is
1:31:46 missing number
1:31:48 two. Number
1:31:50 two. All right. So, that's at least in
1:31:53 there for people that aren't using their
1:31:55 thinky brains. For for the A1 crowd,
1:31:59 that's what that notes for.
1:32:06 Oh, we make up our own words in the AI
1:32:08 learning lab. We're not weird, we're
1:32:10 irregular. Okay, let's see. How did we
1:32:12 do? Are we still doing? What are we
1:32:15 doing? All right, here we
1:32:17 go. A1 Learning Lab weekend homework. So
1:32:21 far so
1:32:22 good. Homework for the weekend.
1:32:25 One,
1:32:32 two. Now it missed number
1:32:41 three. Oh, wait. Where did
1:32:51 I copy image? Go down here.
1:32:57 paste. Why don't you make
1:33:02 the
1:33:05 chalk board
1:33:08 wide and
1:33:10 have two
1:33:17 columns? Make sure you capture
1:33:25 all the
1:33:26 text in this uploaded image. Damn it.
1:33:32 All right. So, while that's thinking,
1:33:34 well, we're going to assume that's going
1:33:36 to be a fail, but let's go look at some
1:33:39 new images in
1:33:41 the in the uh whatever you call
1:33:45 it. Cowboy Kyle version 1.0. This
1:33:49 machine kills fascists.
1:33:52 Fascist. Is that spelled
1:33:56 right? I think it
1:33:59 is.
1:34:03 A1 cuz our children's future is at
1:34:06 stake. Oh my god, that's
1:34:16 good. Okay, I just there. This one is
1:34:20 genius on about 38 different levels. How
1:34:23 you spelled Cuz Genius at stake.
1:34:28 Genius. Oh, I love it. Okay, that one's
1:34:31 a classic. That's a classic. Winner.
1:34:34 Who? Who did that? Claire, Dr. J in for
1:34:37 the win. I like
1:34:39 [Laughter]
1:34:44 A1. Sam Alman. Oh my god, this is
1:34:50 hilarious. Oh man, cuz our children's
1:34:54 future is at
1:34:55 stake. Oh my god, it's too good. Claire,
1:34:59 can I steal
1:35:02 this? I'm going to I'll credit you over
1:35:05 here. Who? Where? Who are you on on X?
1:35:09 Is it Claire?
1:35:14 What's your What's your What's your ex
1:35:16 thing, Dr.
1:35:18 J? What's your ex whatever you call
1:35:22 it?
1:35:24 Um, genius.
1:35:27 Um,
1:35:29 eduan with a K.
1:35:34 Edu. Oh, wait. No, it should be
1:35:39 educ. Oh, no. That doesn't look like it.
1:35:43 Education. Edu. Let's see. Edu. We'll do
1:35:46 a K.
1:35:50 Education
1:35:52 poster about
1:35:55 A1
1:35:58 awareness
1:36:00 from All right. What is it? Oh, really?
1:36:02 Dr. J. Okay.
1:36:11 really Dr.
1:36:13 J beautiful follows you.
1:36:19 Okay, we're going to paste the picture.
1:36:22 It's so [ __ ] good. And then I've been
1:36:25 doing Okay, if you want to do this, I've
1:36:26 been doing hashtag and I know we don't
1:36:28 do hashtags anymore, but they're funny.
1:36:30 I'm doing hashtag
1:36:34 A1#A1
1:36:37 education and then I'm doing hashtag AI.
1:36:43 So, so like a thing that you could
1:36:46 explore in the image gen tool is is make
1:36:50 PSA
1:36:53 [Music]
1:36:57 posters cuz our children's future is at
1:37:00 stake. Oh, it's too good. It's too good.
1:37:04 It's too good. Um, let's see.
1:37:08 I
1:37:10 love the at what is it the AI salon.
1:37:16 Yeah.
1:37:18 Community so
1:37:21 much. Genius. And then we'll tag
1:37:25 Scoilizer. He might think this is funny.
1:37:28 [Laughter]
1:37:30 [Music]
1:37:36 Oh my god, it's good. It's so good. It's
1:37:39 Kyle. Yes. Uh we should
1:37:44 Yeah, that would be good. All right, why
1:37:49 not? If if since we're
1:37:53 bullying, is that really her?
1:37:58 Linda_Mick. Man, there she
1:38:00 is. There she is. Oh, man. I you know I
1:38:05 mean the good news is tw I'm I'm on such
1:38:07 a shitty algorithm with Twitter like
1:38:09 none of my [ __ ] ever gets seen. So
1:38:17 um A1
1:38:20 education. Oh god damn that's funny.
1:38:24 Okay let's go back here. Did it work?
1:38:27 No.
1:38:28 Okay,
1:38:31 dude. You have to make the image wider
1:38:36 to
1:38:38 fit all of the image you created. Try
1:38:44 again, you big dumb
1:38:46 [Laughter]
1:38:50 dumb. Isn't that all ofx though? It is
1:38:52 totally all ofex. This one will probably
1:38:55 blow up now that you said that. Yeah,
1:38:57 right. Exactly. I'll probably get sued
1:39:00 for defamation or something like that or
1:39:02 deported back to I don't know. I don't
1:39:04 even know where my ancestors came from.
1:39:06 I think Germany and England. I'm going
1:39:08 to get deported back to
1:39:14 Germany. Oh
1:39:19 man. All right, we'll do one more try
1:39:21 here. While that's doing that, let's go
1:39:23 look and see if Clling did anything good
1:39:25 with our cowboys
1:39:29 walking. We're all safer in Germany now.
1:39:33 Oh
1:39:36 man, grabbed the guitar. He grabbed
1:39:41 it.
1:39:43 Nice. All right, that one
1:39:46 works. How's this one?
1:39:50 Oh, sorry. Y'all can't see that, can
1:39:52 you? Sucks to be on Tik
1:39:55 [Laughter]
1:39:59 Tok. Wait, sorry, I missed
1:40:04 it. All right, that one's not as good.
1:40:06 That one's got jank in it. All right, so
1:40:09 this one we're going to add sound.
1:40:12 Um, all right, let's just let it
1:40:14 analyze. We're going to generate it
1:40:15 without Oh, I see. strumming guitar
1:40:18 sounds play action. No, I'll just say
1:40:22 um sound of action
1:40:28 figure rustling
1:40:31 in
1:40:34 package.
1:40:37 Then pick up
1:40:40 guitar and
1:40:44 strum
1:40:52 guitar
1:40:55 with footsteps.
1:41:01 foot steps that
1:41:05 match
1:41:07 walking. Generate Tik Tok
1:41:10 pin. We'll be sailmates, Kyle. Oh, yeah.
1:41:13 That's right. I I used your
1:41:17 image. Sorry, Dr. Jay. We're going down
1:41:24 together. I'll take responsibility for
1:41:27 it.
1:41:34 It explains a lot about why I am the way
1:41:36 I
1:41:37 am. The only thing I know about where my
1:41:40 kin folk is that we come from a long
1:41:42 line of horse thieves and [ __ ] There
1:41:45 you go. Well,
1:41:47 see, I think I I'm related to General
1:41:51 Tom Thumb, who is a little person in the
1:41:54 Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey
1:41:56 Circus. Um, the sound of plastic
1:41:59 crackling. Yeah, that's the way to do
1:42:00 it. Sound
1:42:08 of
1:42:10 plastic
1:42:12 crackling. Okay, we'll we'll try that
1:42:14 one. Let's see what we get
1:42:19 here. Oh, wait. I got to I got to change
1:42:22 up this. Hang on a sec. Is there any AI
1:42:25 image generator close to what OpenAI can
1:42:27 do right
1:42:28 now? Not not really. You can try
1:42:32 um ideoggram is probably the closest in
1:42:36 terms of um typography and things like
1:42:38 that. Um and they just came out with
1:42:41 3.0, but I I found it a a bit of an
1:42:44 incremental upgrade. It didn't feel like
1:42:46 a a big improvement to me, but I to be
1:42:49 fair, I haven't played with it a lot. So
1:42:51 the thing about chat GPT image gen
1:42:55 that's different than a standalone image
1:42:57 generator is that all of this is
1:43:00 happening within the context of a chat
1:43:03 and also you can have like I I created
1:43:07 an image in midjourney uploaded it to
1:43:09 chat GPT and then had chat GPT write me
1:43:13 a creative backstory for the character
1:43:15 in the image and it [ __ ] killed it.
1:43:18 So, for me, the the ability to to
1:43:21 seamlessly go back and forth between um
1:43:25 words and images is is is a reason to
1:43:28 use it. Um, let me change my tabs here
1:43:32 so you can hear this.
1:43:52 That was not
1:43:53 [Music]
1:44:04 bad. And there it doesn't have the song.
1:44:07 So you'd have to mix those two. All
1:44:08 right, let's try to generate another set
1:44:11 here with the sound of plastic
1:44:12 crackling.
1:44:27 E. Okay, let's go back
1:44:30 to Let me change this. Stop sharing
1:44:34 that. Let me go here. Let me go here.
1:44:36 Let me go here. Let me go here. Let me
1:44:38 go here. Let me go
1:44:45 here. Watch this. Fail.
1:44:49 You big dumb
1:44:55 dumb, please get all of the text on the
1:45:04 board. Well, anyway, you've got your
1:45:06 homework
1:45:07 assignment. Whether whether you choose
1:45:09 to recognize that two is missing
1:45:12 entirely and look at the actual text,
1:45:14 that's up to you.
1:45:17 [Music]
1:45:49 That was not
1:45:53 bad. I know you can't hear
1:46:01 it. That's This is the one. So, what do
1:46:03 we do here? Download
1:46:11 it. And then did it add the sound to it?
1:46:14 Let's see.
1:46:31 Yeah, not
1:46:32 bad. All right, so let's put that up on
1:46:40 X2H. Not
1:46:44 bad from at
1:46:48 Cling
1:46:53 AI. Not bad. Let's see. Not
1:46:58 bad animation and
1:47:04 sound from Klingi
1:47:08 AI. Image
1:47:10 from chat jeepete.
1:47:24 Are we going to upload or we going to
1:47:25 ship the bed? We're going to ship the
1:47:27 bed, aren't we?
1:47:29 60. Come on, you can do it. Tik Tok pin.
1:47:34 Hey, I am nude to your page. How can I
1:47:36 access your community and join the
1:47:38 homework? Okay, great question. So, if
1:47:41 you go to there, the salon.ai, and then
1:47:45 you're going to scroll down a little
1:47:46 bit. You're going to click on a button
1:47:47 that says join our community. And that's
1:47:49 going to pop you over to the AI salon.
1:47:52 And um on the left hand side, you'll
1:47:55 start out on the welcome page and
1:47:58 there's a welcome video and there's uh
1:48:00 this thing called the AI readiness cycle
1:48:02 where we talk about kind of how we do
1:48:04 what we do here. There's even uh the
1:48:06 five stages of AI adoption all on that
1:48:08 welcome page. And then the the second
1:48:11 thing down is introduce yourself. So you
1:48:13 should introduce yourself because
1:48:15 especially if you're going to hang out
1:48:16 here, the people here that call
1:48:18 themselves the irregulars, they're
1:48:20 really remarkable. Um, she might be. Is
1:48:23 it a she or he? It just asked about that
1:48:25 wind rider.
1:48:28 [Music]
1:48:35 Um, but anyway, do that. And then if you
1:48:38 scroll down, there's a bunch of things
1:48:40 you can do. In the mastery workshop,
1:48:42 there's a showand tell area, but in an
1:48:44 area called clubs and hubs, that's where
1:48:46 the AI learning lab is, and that's where
1:48:50 the homework is shared. All right. And
1:48:53 again, the image is missing. Homework
1:48:55 assignment number
1:49:00 two. Um, did did chat GPT win? Did it
1:49:04 did it win?
1:49:06 Nope. It's just a this is a fail. Fail
1:49:09 rabbit.
1:49:12 An interesting thing to do would be
1:49:15 Well, I'm not going to do it now. It's
1:49:17 It's enough. Let's go. Let's go upload
1:49:20 this thing. Did it get uploaded? It
1:49:22 did. All right. Here we go.
1:49:31 Boom. Your post was sent.
1:49:34 View
1:49:37 post. All right. There's our little
1:49:48 post. I like
1:49:51 it. Cool. That That's a little annoying.
1:49:54 I would go in and edit that differently,
1:49:56 but whatever. That That's actual work.
1:50:00 Okay, that's it, people. I'm getting I'm
1:50:03 getting the [ __ ] out of dodge. Um,
1:50:06 you've got your four homework
1:50:07 assignments. I seriously would pick just
1:50:10 one. Um, and do it like do it all
1:50:13 weekend. Go deep. There there's just so
1:50:16 much to [ __ ] do there. There's so
1:50:18 much to explore.
1:50:21 Um, the first two are the biggies in in
1:50:24 in my opinion. But the ability to just
1:50:27 create a theramin out of thin air is is
1:50:30 insane to me. It's insane to me that we
1:50:33 could just do that. Um, and then and
1:50:36 then the uh go make a film for uh for
1:50:38 Kimberly Offford's uh film
1:50:40 contest. Why not? Why the flip not?
1:50:45 Okay, let's see. Do we
1:50:47 have Try a 2x4 tall image? That's not a
1:50:50 bad idea. You can say they
1:50:55 Kyle for what? When was I saying? Who
1:50:59 did I
1:51:00 [Laughter]
1:51:05 malpronoun? Oh sh. Oh, she, Shakira, the
1:51:08 new member. Oh, yeah, I could say that.
1:51:10 That's right. Yeah, if I don't know.
1:51:11 That's a good point, Vicki. I could do
1:51:15 that. All right. Um, have fun this
1:51:18 weekend. Thanks for hanging out tonight
1:51:20 and uh and I will see you next Monday.
1:51:24 And don't forget next t so Saturday is a
1:51:27 learn out loud. Um next Tuesday is a the
1:51:31 AI salon meet and greet. So go RSVP for
1:51:34 that and come join us. And if you
1:51:36 haven't introduced yourself in the AI
1:51:38 salon, go do that. Get known in the
1:51:41 community. And even if so here's an
1:51:43 important thing. Even if you're like but
1:51:45 I'm too new at AI. I'm so new I call it
1:51:49 A1. Just introduce yourself anyway. This
1:51:52 is an incredibly warm and empathetic and
1:51:55 welcoming community. There's no judgment
1:51:58 if you don't know what's going on. I
1:52:00 mean, this channel is testament that
1:52:02 even if you pay attention to this [ __ ]
1:52:04 you're clueless about what's going on,
1:52:06 right? Like that's it's I am here to be
1:52:09 the idiot so you can you can feel
1:52:12 comfortable feeling like one, too. So,
1:52:14 introduce yourself. It's really
1:52:16 important. It will serve you quite well.
1:52:18 All right. Beautiful. All right. And we
1:52:20 have fun, too. Yeah. Exactly. It's a
1:52:22 very playful playful bunch. All right,
1:52:23 everybody. Have a great weekend. I'll
1:52:25 see you later. Bye.
