22. 3:57they say all right so listen if you are new to generative AI that's what this channel is all about well if you're new
23. 4:04or not new this channel is good for you too but it's kind of all we talk about here uh I I try to make it fun uh I try
24. 4:12to make it relatable and uh simple and we do cool images like that that's one of the is that a cool image that was from Dolly 3 inside uh
25. 4:27inside um chat GPT and it made that image in I don't know 15 seconds or so after having a little conversation and then there was that one
26. 4:41generosity sitting around y old campfire these were all made uh some were made tonight some were made a few days
27. 4:49ago but pretty cool images huh yeah I like that Curiosity one that's like yeah that's so good I think we made that here last night actually
28. 5:00have I played with a new Firefly I have not oh it came out today but I have played with you want to see something cool is
29. 5:09um this illustrator file oops
30. 5:25I let me just get rid of that watch this so I'm in illustrator I draw a box I select um the pointer tool and then I
31. 5:39have a new generative fill button and I can put um uh let's see uh Swan logo let's let's go Black Swan
32. 5:58logo and then I'm going to put in quotes the word dance let's see what that does all right so now it's generating So within illustrator
33. 6:092024 they you now have text to vector image so like Illustrator files it's crazy crazy crazy crazy oh that one's pretty cool no
34. 6:24that's awful all right that's it so because it's a vector image you can in initely zoom in and it's sharp the whole way
35. 6:36in and it's layered and it's got these objects now is it great no cuz like all these tools as I always say in
36. 6:46here whoa late night I know I know lunti I had a uh an AI Salon tonight so I didn't start till what what time is it
37. 6:549:30 I just started though just getting started but see how the the tracing is a little weird so I think what they're
38. 7:00doing is I think they're they're generating a low reses um like a low reses uh what's it called pixel pixel
39. 7:10file raster file and then they're doing an auto trace on it is my suspicion but maybe not I don't quite know what
40. 7:17they're doing but the uh the auto tracing is a little wonky but you can do text to logo I mean it you know text to high quality graphic so
41. 7:29that illustrator um I haven't played with the new Firefly you're past curfew Mr Shannon I [Laughter] know oh that's so cute all right so
42. 7:40let's get let's get going here let me show you a couple of things if you're brand new to generative AI if you're
43. 7:47like I haven't played with chat GPT I don't know what it is I'm not a technologist you nerds are [ __ ] weird
44. 7:53we agree we understand we prefer the term irregular over weird but we're weird weird we we'll you can label us however you
45. 8:02want we're we're derogatory term fluid hey Clint Copperhead okay so if you haven't tried any generative AI yet
46. 8:15just go to that URL right now chat. open.com that's the official chat GPT website just go there and and do what I
47. 8:23call a parlor trick ask it to write you a poem or ask it to write you a country song about your dog or ask it to write a
48. 8:31project plan or a meal plan or help you come up with strategies to exercise better whatever doesn't matter what what
49. 8:40just go go ask it go talk to it um if you've been playing around with these things for a while I would have um
50. 8:49these four sites at a minimum bookmarked these four are kind of the big four that are not going anywhere anytime
51. 8:56soon um the next three down and I can talk about the differences I'm happy to do that later the next three down this
52. 9:03what I call a kids table pi. a if you download the iOS app of Pi and instead of chatting with it or using your microphone there's a little
53. 9:15green telephone icon click on that and it puts it into voice mode and you can just have a conversation with a large
54. 9:22language model that's connected to the internet it is a [ __ ] trip it's a trip the more you the more I interact
55. 9:30with this thing and the more I hear other people interacting with it this is feeling like a bigger and bigger deal
56. 9:36and they just raised $ 1.3 billion so they're not going anywhere anytime soon these other ones are also worth
57. 9:43exploring um in terms of images if you go to bing.com create that's the new dolly3 model and um over the next month
58. 9:52or so open AI is rolling that out inside chat GPT which I have access to it right now it's [ __ ] fuing insane I'll show
59. 10:00you that mid Journey if you want high quality art it's mid Journey IDE I got to take off this list because it's
60. 10:07irrelevant now CU cuz dolly3 just made ideogram irrelevant which is really [ __ ] sad ideogram was a big [ __ ]
61. 10:15deal like 30 days ago like people in here will will tell you like this was like a lot of these images that I show
62. 10:22here every night like that one a lot of these things were done in ID all these all ideogram uh
63. 10:38uh and then you'll see there's a little shift right about that was mid journey and then starting here this is

73. 12:30talk to these things and learn what they're good at and what they're not good at kind of at the base level so the

75. 12:43rater are three guys I think are worth following cuz they're smarter than you are and I am and that's I like I like surrounding
76. 12:54myself with people that are smarter than I am I'm also tomorrow night is the second night of of a three uh Workshop

115. 19:00app that guides people through end of life [ __ ] like when someone's in hospice and I wanted to demo Pi I said
116. 19:09oh you should get pie because she was talking about how to engage with people and things like that and I said I should
117. 19:15I said you should experience P because I feel like there's there's going to be something there for people being able to
118. 19:21talk about death and process it and things like that and so I launched pie and I I said um my my mom died a few
119. 19:29years back but I said to pie I said hey I'm trying to put together like I'm trying to deal with the fact that my
120. 19:36mom's dying can you help and Pi responded like I've never heard Pi respond before she went I've got her
121. 19:43said his voice five which is like the Australian woman and she went she went no no no no no like she got really
122. 19:53animated and like really loud and and she was like no no no no no that that's very serious like I I you
123. 20:01know is is that true is everything okay are you okay it like it it responded like in an appropriate way like what I was expecting it was
124. 20:16just to answer like here's how you talk about that like chat jpt would just give you a list of well you know dealing with
125. 20:22death is very hard and but I guess because Pi's got this kind of ongoing Rel relationship it recognized that as
126. 20:31way out of the you know out of the ordinary and it it it emotionally responded no no no no no was amazing so

140. 23:24were they went on ahead and replaced Dolly 2 with with Dolly 3 and now it doesn't suck uh you are so entertaining and

142. 23:43clicked on one of those images this is now bing.com create so this is the image generation tool but look I said three
143. 23:51elephants dancing they're at least walking there's our silver 50s jet that's very 50s jet there's another one that's that's
144. 24:01very like 50s Air Force Jet right there's two elephants I guess the next elephant's off off uh off camera there there's four elephants five
145. 24:13elephants but at least three and there's three elephants dancing and a couple in the background that one's pretty cool I
146. 24:19like of all those so so this is Dolly 3 inside Bing I've also got access to 3 inside chat GPT which we'll all be getting soon this is a big

163. 27:35Realms of revery jet uh gp4 has been brutally slow today because um I think they're doing a bunch of upgrades so so
164. 27:47it seems that they have like two-thirds of their uh servers are in upgrade mode or something like that it's been really
165. 27:54slow so I I won't um take this on so long but that's okay so we'll do a c cartographers Conquest Battle of the
166. 28:03boundaries okay let's go with that one okay those are the names so now I'm going to go I like number two can you make me four
167. 28:13landscape oriented maps in completely different styles that have the name of the game across the top and the subtitle across
168. 28:30the bottom and I'm just going to let it go and so what it's going to do now very slowly because it's going really slow it
169. 28:40fires off the dolly plug-in so I assume it's a plugin let me make this a little bit bigger so there's there's the first
170. 28:52prompt now it's writing another prompt so the first prompt is wide map with detailed illust illustrations of
171. 28:58mountains rivers and forests a large ornate compass rose on the bottom right corner vintage parchment Style with
172. 29:04sepia tones game title cartographers contrast in bold Gothic letters at the top and battle of the boundaries in
173. 29:12elegant script at the bottom like that's a good prompt for what we were talking about Firefly I like your shirt thank
174. 29:21you Firefly appreciate that yeah I like this shirt this one of my faves um and so so it wrote four prompts
175. 29:29for itself and now it's off in Dolly 3 land making images and we're going to have some I I would assume some pretty bitching Maps
176. 29:40here it's good it's the quality of dolly3 is not nearly as artistic as mid Journey but it is incredibly um how do we put it uh it's it's
177. 29:54incredibly good at following instructions so like doing coherence so so it didn't give us the text so that's a
178. 30:03fail that also did not give us text but it's kind of a cool map um that's that's very fantasy map like none of these got it this one got
179. 30:13cartographers conquest and it uh car yeah got it spelled it right C cartographers Conquest so there's one if
180. 30:21you're making a kids game called cartographers Conquest that would be mean cuz kids can't say I can barely say that [ __ ] word [Laughter]
181. 30:32um but so here's what we're going to do we're going to say all right we're going to we're going to what what what ends up happening when you
182. 30:39use this image generation model inside chat GPT is that the interaction is much more like you're a creative director
183. 30:48than having to figure out how to prompt an image model so what I'm going to say is this what's going on what happened why are
184. 31:09you I like the style of one and four period can you make me two new maps in style one and two new maps in style 4
185. 31:22period be sure to include the text of the game name and the subtitle in the image itself period this is very important so make sure it's
186. 31:36prioritized in the prompt so I'm basically just telling it here's what I want dum dum you didn't do it right I like some of your pictures
187. 31:45but I don't like the others but you didn't do it right dum dum so and just be careful calling the robots dumb if if you've got a voice
188. 31:56turned on cuz cuz I did it once with Bing and she got very mad at me she didn't like me calling her a robot and
189. 32:03she didn't like me telling her that her images were shitty and she hung up on me um I just watched Lars and the Real
190. 32:13Girl and crying now headed to my shift I'm telling you Sherry Banks right just wanted to say howdy it's it's an amazing
191. 32:20film right isn't it such a good film and it's like I feel like that's where we're going to go with this virtual companion
192. 32:27ship stuff where it's going to start out creepy and then we're going to start hearing these really remarkable Tales of
193. 32:34it making a difference for people that that that film seems to me like it's an AI film even though it's completely
194. 32:43not Lars and the Real Girl hey everybody we hit 50k last night you guys are nuts thank you Sher bear um I just got some
195. 32:53responses like that with pie when discussing about extr terrest arrial oh wow that's interesting and and what's going to be
196. 33:00fascinating Clint is like they're going to they're going to keep making these things better and better and better at
197. 33:06the at the they don't have empathy but how they how they demonstrate empathy and how they show compassion they're
198. 33:16going to get better and better and better and listen as humans we already anthropomorphise everything we do it to
199. 33:23our pets we do it to anything that looks like it has a smiley face on it when these tools start having full-on
200. 33:29conversations with us it's going to be remarkable so these maps are beautiful but they completely failed on giving us
201. 33:40words completely failed I like that one a lot so so this is one of those examples where maybe there's something
202. 33:47about maps and titles on it it's just not good with it or it might be the way I prompted it this is one where these
203. 33:52maps are cool enough maybe I'd just bail on on doing the typography in here and just go into illustrator and drop drop
204. 34:00real text on it um yeah but those are pretty slick let's let's try something here okay those two are great from a
205. 34:13style perspective let's try creating a vertical poster aspect ratio and make a poster that says
206. 34:27cartographer's Conquest on the top and battle of the boundaries at the bottom and have a square tile with a map on it in
207. 34:42the middle let's see if that does anything for us sometimes aspect ratios make a big difference sometimes they screw you up
208. 34:59so we're going vertical instead of horizontal oh my goodness I'm tired people I'm just so tired I'm tired oh

217. 36:40um you can also give it like really complicated prompts and it will get all that stuff in there so I've been using
218. 36:46AI for prospecting potential clients but I want to go deeper um check out uh educational kindof I I think it says um
219. 36:58check out a company called humanic AI hu M an ti. a what they're doing is they will scrape a LinkedIn profile and then they run it
220. 37:13through two algorithms and create personality profiles of the person and then you can take that personality
221. 37:21profile and their LinkedIn data and create a prompt for them so that you can write you know oddly personalized emails to People based on
222. 37:32not only what they've done but what their personality is based on whatever [ __ ] algorithm that company came up
223. 37:38with so I'm wondering if I could find business owners who make over 5 million a year and are in and are in a certain region and are
224. 37:55in continent no that's the [Laughter] Irregulars I don't know what the rest of that is um so what I would do
225. 38:07educational Koff is you might be able to find data on a like find a data set on a site like kaggle or go buy data
226. 38:17that's got whatever I don't know banking I'm sure there's some data that you can buy that's just got a whole bunch of
227. 38:24[ __ ] in it into boating yeah so you could I'm sure there's some data set out there that talks about you
228. 38:33know actually I guarantee you there's a data set out there I wonder let me before I go guaranteeing [ __ ] but I guarantee you there's
229. 38:45something out there about Boat Owners um let's see kaggle I'm going to go to the kaggle website my my suspicion here is that
230. 38:55even if I find something it'll be out of date but there are probably databases out there of people who have bought
231. 39:02boats and if there's data of people who bought boats there's probably something about the length of the boat and you
232. 39:08could surmise that if they have a boat under 30 ft they don't have $5 million if they're if they're 32 feet and up they probably have
233. 39:19millions so you could you can probably do something like that let me see boat owners Boat Owners boat
234. 39:35sales boat analysis boat sales analysis all right here I found some boat sales analysis how how big is this file is this wait is this
235. 39:52a copy and edit that might not be actual I need to sort these by CSV let me find CSV files okay

255. 42:50analysis okay and then when you do that you get a little plus sign here and that's an upload button and we're going
256. 42:56to going to upload that boat sale document archive 13 so we don't know what's in here but that's okay because
257. 43:05chat GPT is now a full-on [ __ ] data analyst this is just amazing so so watch this open this ZIP file and help me
258. 43:16understand the kind of data that's in here related to the sales of boats period ideally what I'm looking to do is find people
259. 43:26who make more than $5 million a year and are interested in boats period can you tell me if there's enough data in this
260. 43:39file to make a guess at that kind of profile I don't know how to ask for that but it doesn't matter because chat GPT
261. 43:49is going to figure that [ __ ] out for us this is this is if you haven't seen code interpreter before for so what's
262. 43:56happening here is when you run Advanced Data analysis mode in chat GPT it creates what's called a container which
263. 44:05is basically just like a little sort of self-contained container that runs its own code okay and what it's running is
264. 44:14python code and it's got access to a bunch of libraries and it starts writing and executing its own python code so
265. 44:20when I asked it to open the zip file the first thing it does is it loads in a library writes its own python code this
266. 44:27is not copy and pasted it wrote this executed it and then it wrote some more python code to go look at the stuff
267. 44:38right and then it says there's 9,888 entries there's price Boat Type manufacturer type length number of views
268. 44:49unfortunately the data set does not contain direct information about buyers right to profile people who make more
269. 44:56than $5 million a year and are interested in boats you would ideally need a more personal data about the
270. 45:01buyers or potential buyers so so anyway so we can say that's okay now that I understand that what I would like to do is identify boats
271. 45:16that are longer than 30 fet and broken into two categories power boats and sailboats period can you tell me some interesting
272. 45:33stats on these boats that's sweet thank you for that tidbit you're welcome educational kind of it appears there are
273. 45:49no entries in the data set criteria for power boat that are longer than 30 ft um however there's some entries of
274. 45:59sailboats specifically for that are longer than 30 ft the total price the top price listed is 33,000 oh these are not your
275. 46:10people these these are like rowo buyers the boats were built between 1971 in 2012 with an average year of 1994
276. 46:23this is old janky boats this is old falling down boats this is this is Gilligan's Island's boats anyway but you can see what we can
277. 46:33do there and and so here's what what else we can do um can you create a visualization showing uh the lengths of
