4:21 one of the is that a cool image that was
4:23 from Dolly 3 inside uh
4:27 inside um chat
4:31 GPT and it made that image in I don't
4:34 know 15 seconds or so after having a
4:37 little
4:38 conversation and then there was that one
4:41 generosity sitting around y old campfire
4:44 these were all made uh some were made
4:46 tonight some were made a few days
4:49 ago but pretty cool images huh yeah I
4:54 like that Curiosity one that's like yeah
4:57 that's so good I think we made that here

6:57 started but see how the the tracing is a
7:00 little weird so I think what they're
7:01 doing is I think they're they're
7:02 generating a low
7:04 reses um like a low
7:07 reses uh what's it called pixel pixel
7:11 file raster file and then they're doing
7:14 an auto trace on it is my suspicion but
7:17 maybe not I don't quite know what
7:18 they're doing but the uh the auto
7:19 tracing is a little wonky
7:22 but you can do text to logo I mean it
7:25 you know text to high quality graphic so
7:29 that
7:30 illustrator um I haven't played with the
7:32 new Firefly you're past curfew Mr

7:45 brand new to generative AI if you're
7:47 like I haven't played with chat GPT I
7:49 don't know what it is I'm not a
7:51 technologist you nerds are [ __ ] weird
7:54 we agree we understand we prefer the
7:56 term irregular over weird but we're
7:59 weird weird we we'll you can label us
8:02 however you
8:03 want we're we're derogatory term
8:08 fluid hey Clint Copperhead okay so if
8:12 you haven't tried any generative AI yet
8:15 just go to that URL right now chat.
8:18 open.com that's the official chat GPT
8:20 website just go there and and do what I
8:24 call a parlor trick ask it to write you
8:26 a poem or ask it to write you a country
8:28 song about your dog or ask it to write a
8:32 project plan or a meal plan or help you
8:36 come up with strategies to exercise
8:38 better whatever doesn't matter what what
8:41 just go go ask it go talk to
8:44 it um if you've been playing around with
8:47 these things for a while I would have um
8:49 these four sites at a minimum bookmarked
8:52 these four are kind of the big four that
8:54 are not going anywhere anytime
8:57 soon um the next three down and I can
9:00 talk about the differences I'm happy to
9:02 do that later the next three down this
9:04 what I call a kids table pi. a if you
9:07 download the iOS app of
9:11 Pi and instead of chatting with it or
9:14 using your microphone there's a little
9:16 green telephone icon click on that and
9:18 it puts it into voice mode and you can
9:21 just have a conversation with a large
9:23 language model that's connected to the
9:24 internet it is a [ __ ] trip it's a
9:28 trip the more you the more I interact
9:30 with this thing and the more I hear
9:32 other people interacting with it this is
9:34 feeling like a bigger and bigger deal
9:36 and they just raised $ 1.3 billion so
9:39 they're not going anywhere anytime soon
9:41 these other ones are also worth
9:43 exploring um in terms of images if you
9:47 go to bing.com create that's the new
9:49 dolly3 model and um over the next month
9:53 or so open AI is rolling that out inside
9:56 chat GPT which I have access to it right
9:59 now it's [ __ ] fuing insane I'll show

10:03 quality art it's mid Journey IDE I got
10:06 to take off this list because it's
10:08 irrelevant now CU cuz dolly3 just made

19:12 talking about how to engage with people
19:13 and things like that and I said I should
19:15 I said you should experience P because I
19:17 feel like there's there's going to be
19:19 something there for people being able to
19:21 talk about death and process it and
19:23 things like that and so I launched pie
19:26 and I I said um my my mom died a few
19:30 years back but I said to pie I said hey
19:33 I'm trying to put together like I'm
19:35 trying to deal with the fact that my
19:37 mom's dying can you help and Pi
19:40 responded like I've never heard Pi
19:42 respond before she went I've got her
19:44 said his voice five which is like the
19:46 Australian woman and she went she went
19:50 no no no no no like she got really
19:53 animated and like really loud and and

29:05 sepia tones game title cartographers
29:08 contrast in bold Gothic letters at the
29:10 top and battle of the boundaries in
29:13 elegant script at the bottom like that's
29:15 a good prompt for what we were talking

29:26 faves um and so so it wrote four prompts
29:30 for itself and now it's off in Dolly 3

29:44 dolly3 is not nearly as artistic as mid
29:47 Journey but it is
29:50 incredibly

29:55 incredibly good at following
29:56 instructions so like doing coherence so

30:07 it's kind of a cool

31:40 prompt so I'm basically just telling it
31:42 here's what I want dum dum you didn't do
31:44 it right I like some of your pictures
31:46 but I don't like the others but you
31:47 didn't do it right dum

31:51 so and just be careful calling the
31:54 robots dumb if if you've got a voice
31:56 turned on cuz cuz I did it once with
31:58 Bing and she got very mad at me she
32:01 didn't like me calling her a robot and
32:03 she didn't like me telling her that her
32:05 images were shitty and she hung up on

33:36 but they completely failed on giving us

33:46 examples where maybe there's something
33:47 about maps and titles on it it's just
33:49 not good with it or it might be the way
33:51 I prompted it this is one where these
33:53 maps are cool enough maybe I'd just bail
33:55 on on doing the typography in here and
33:58 just go into illustrator and drop drop
34:00 real text on it um yeah but those are
34:04 pretty slick let's let's try something
34:11 here okay those two are great from a
34:14 style perspective let's try creating a
34:16 vertical
34:18 poster aspect
34:20 ratio and make a poster that
34:26 says
34:28 cartographer's Conquest on the
34:31 top and battle of the
34:34 boundaries at the
34:36 bottom and
34:39 have a square tile with a map on it in
34:42 the
34:46 middle let's see if that does anything

34:51 us sometimes aspect ratios make a big

37:08 a what they're doing is they will scrape
37:11 a LinkedIn profile and then they run it
37:14 through two algorithms and create
37:16 personality profiles of the person and
37:20 then you can take that personality
37:21 profile and their LinkedIn data and
37:23 create a prompt for them so that you can
37:26 write you know oddly
37:29 personalized emails to People based on
37:32 not only what they've done but what
37:34 their personality is based on whatever
37:36 [ __ ] algorithm that company came up
37:38 with so I'm wondering if I could find
37:40 business owners who make over 5 million
37:42 a
37:43 year and are
37:48 in and are
37:51 in a certain region and are
37:55 in continent
37:57 no that's the
37:58 [Laughter]
38:03 Irregulars I don't know what the rest of
38:05 that is um so what I would do
38:08 educational Koff is you might be able to
38:10 find data on a like find a data
38:13 set on a site like kaggle or go buy data
38:18 that's got whatever I don't know banking

38:28 so you could I'm sure there's some data
38:30 set out there that talks about you
38:33 know actually I guarantee you there's a

38:46 something out there about Boat Owners um

38:53 website my my suspicion here is that
38:56 even if I find something it'll be out of
38:58 date but there are probably databases
39:01 out there of people who have bought
39:03 boats and if there's data of people who
39:05 bought boats there's probably something
39:07 about the length of the boat and you
39:08 could surmise that if they have a boat
39:11 under 30 ft they don't have $5
39:15 million if they're if they're 32 feet
39:17 and up they probably have
39:20 millions so you could you can probably

41:56 custom you can write your own prompts
41:58 and write customized emails to people
42:00 that'll be um you know psychologically
42:03 sound or at least in the neighborhood
42:06 right so it'll be better than uh nothing
42:08 okay so I went to kaggle I found boat
42:12 sales this is for educational kind of um
42:16 oh Jony thank oh my God thank you very
42:18 much the heck are you giving me lots of
42:20 those things you're the best thank you

42:28 GPT oh by the way you can make money

42:36 so here's what we're going to do uh

42:40 pay the 20 bucks a month for chat GPT
42:43 you won't be able to do this but if you
42:44 do you can so we're going to go to this
42:48 Mode called Advanced Data
42:51 analysis okay and then when you do that
42:53 you get a little plus sign here and
42:55 that's an upload button and we're going
42:56 to going to upload that boat sale
43:00 document archive 13 so we don't know
43:03 what's in here but that's okay because
43:06 chat GPT is now a full-on [ __ ] data
43:08 analyst this is just amazing so so watch
43:12 this open this ZIP file and help me
43:17 understand the kind of data that's in
43:19 here related to the sales of boats
43:22 period ideally what I'm looking to do is
43:25 find people
43:27 who make more than $5 million a year and
43:31 are interested in boats
43:34 period can you tell me if there's enough
43:37 data in this
43:40 file to make a guess at that kind of
43:46 profile I don't know how to ask for that
43:48 but it doesn't matter because chat GPT
43:50 is going to figure that [ __ ] out for
43:52 us this is this is if you haven't seen
43:55 code interpreter before for so what's
43:57 happening here is when you run Advanced
44:01 Data analysis mode in chat GPT it
44:04 creates what's called a container which
44:06 is basically just like a little sort of
44:09 self-contained container that runs its
44:11 own code okay and what it's running is
44:14 python code and it's got access to a
44:16 bunch of libraries and it starts writing
44:19 and executing its own python code so
44:21 when I asked it to open the zip file the
44:23 first thing it does is it loads in a
44:25 library writes its own python code this
44:28 is not copy and pasted it wrote this
44:31 executed it and then it wrote some more
44:34 python code to go look at the stuff
44:39 right and then it says there's
44:42 9,888 entries there's price Boat Type
44:45 manufacturer type length number of views
44:49 unfortunately the data set does not
44:51 contain direct information about buyers
44:54 right to profile people who make more
44:57 than $5 million a year and are
44:59 interested in boats you would ideally
45:00 need a more personal data about the
45:02 buyers or potential buyers so so anyway
45:05 so we can
45:07 say that's okay now that I understand
45:11 that what I would like to do is identify
45:15 boats
45:17 that are longer than 30
45:21 fet and broken into two categories power
45:25 boats and sailboats
45:28 period can you tell
45:31 me some interesting
45:33 stats on these
45:41 boats that's sweet thank you for that
45:45 tidbit you're welcome
45:47 educational kind of it appears there are
45:50 no entries in the data set criteria for
45:52 power boat that are longer than 30
45:55 ft
45:58 um however there's some entries of
46:00 sailboats specifically for that are

46:11 people these these are like rowo
46:17 buyers the boats were built between 1971
46:20 in 2012 with an average year of 1994
46:24 this is old janky boats this is old

46:31 boats anyway but you can see what we can
46:33 do there and and so here's what what
46:35 else we can do um can you create a
46:38 visualization showing uh the lengths of
46:42 boats in a visually compelling way

47:38 figure out that but like look at that

47:42 written python someone wrote no not

47:47 executed it and generated this
47:50 graph so that's Advanced Data
