1:41 telling
1:43 tonight I'm going to I'm going to I'm
1:45 going to walk you all through the new uh
1:47 the new AI Salon
1:50 website and we're going to we're going
1:51 to make this thing a bit more
1:53 interactive

2:35 [Music]
2:38 laughing only want to see a laugh in
2:41 that purple ring purple ring purle
2:49 ring purle rain bule
2:56 rain all right enough comedy dogs
3:02 champy is the
3:04 best his ears are hurting hey now hey
3:08 now look full moon I think that was last
3:10 night but you know
3:12 hey yay finally get to hear you sing
3:15 well yeah sorry about that champ is a
3:18 much better singer woo and we got the we
3:20 got the puffy 7s hair going tonight I'll
3:23 tell you
3:24 what I'm starting to look like all the
3:27 funny images you make of me um
3:31 all right we're going to we're going to
3:32 do good here tonight we're going to have
3:34 some fun we're going to have some good
3:36 fun here's what we're going to
3:37 do let me get this all dialed
3:44 in got to adjust the motorcycle helmet
3:49 box this is high-end production value
3:52 here yeah Champion was he was feeling
3:55 Purple Rain wasn't
3:56 he that's a good one that's the Martin
3:58 Sexton version of purple rain
4:03 all
4:12 right can chat GPT figure out what the
4:15 dog was saying actually probably yes
4:18 here's the thing about the way that the
4:21 way that these
4:22 um these large language models work the
4:25 way that the Transformer model Works um
4:29 it literally doesn't matter what data
4:31 you train it on the reason that we're
4:33 seeing all this innovation in all these
4:35 different areas like there's this new
4:37 video thing that came out from P Labs
4:39 today and there there's just just um
4:44 just it's everywhere it's just
4:45 everything is popping right now um and
4:48 it's all based on the same basic
4:50 technology the this this idea of the
4:52 Transformer that can train on massive
4:55 data sets really really well um and it
4:58 doesn't matter what data you put in
5:01 there so if you had a
5:04 tagged if you had a database of dogs
5:06 making sounds that were tagged with what
5:08 they were saying yeah you could probably
5:12 you could probably make a doggy
5:15 translator it's just CA it's CA I'll
5:18 tell you it's
5:20 CA it's all about breaking codes it is
5:23 it's about probability engines and all
5:25 sorts of crazy ass mathematics sheer
5:27 bear thank you so much
5:30 um welcome everyone my name is Kyle
5:32 Shannon this is the AI learning lab I
5:35 don't know if we're going to do so much
5:36 learning tonight but we're going to have
5:37 some
5:39 fun um if you're brand new to this AI
5:42 stuff we'll get you up to speed um I'm
5:44 also going to walk you through um this
5:48 new community site that we've created uh
5:51 for the AI Salon which is kind of the I
5:54 guess I guess the AI learning lab in a
5:56 lot of Senses is an extension of of that
5:58 community
6:00 um but what's been happening in here
6:02 kind of organically we had a Discord
6:04 server and then we had this Mighty
6:06 Network server and we're moving to
6:07 Mighty netork it's been a mess um but
6:10 but we're almost over and so what I'm
6:11 going to do is I'm going to walk you
6:12 through that new site and I'm going to
6:15 show you where you can share stuff and
6:18 we had someone uh come I brought them up
6:20 on stage last night and they asked some
6:22 really good questions we had a good
6:23 conversation and people said more of
6:25 that so I've got an idea for how to do
6:27 that so I'm going to walk you through
6:28 all that um um yes thank you Rick
6:31 sanchezz Rick and
6:33 Morty
6:35 nice uh and then will I think I might
6:39 also go back and play with um I made
6:43 someone asked me two nights ago hey Kyle
6:47 you you said chat GPT could be good for
6:50 storyboarding how would you do that and
6:54 then oh wow Rasin son of Apple Mac
6:57 innovator is working on an AI animal
7:00 translator yeah that doesn't surprise me
7:02 at all I mean listen they're reading um
7:06 fmri scans of
7:09 brains and the the they did this dude in
7:12 Italy like six months ago they they they
7:15 trained the large language model or the
7:17 the machine learning
7:19 model on his brain scans and said okay
7:23 think about moving your legs and so they
7:25 got when he thought about moving his
7:27 legs and they put it into one of these
7:29 models and then they bluetoothed
7:32 it around his injured part of his spine
7:35 to electrodes you know that were
7:37 connected to his legs and he thought
7:39 about moving its legs and it understood
7:41 that and sent the signals down to his
7:43 legs and now he's walking some version
7:46 of
7:47 walking so yeah like like any data any
7:53 data so so and as and as these things
7:55 get more powerful and and you can
7:58 fine-tune them better and they
7:59 hallucinate hallucinate less and they're
8:02 more autonomous um this is all the stuff
8:04 that everyone's talking about like
8:06 that's AGI This Is The Stuff where
8:08 things go to the
8:09 next the next uh the next level but holy
8:14 crap I think we're at the next level
8:16 right now like I can't I just you know
8:20 uh when is it uh two days from now is
8:22 November 30th um and that is when um
8:26 chat GPT
8:28 launched to very little Fanfare they
8:30 just kind of launched it as part of this
8:32 announcement that Microsoft's investing
8:34 a billion dollars in US oh and here's
8:36 this chat GPT thing to go play with they
8:39 expected nothing to happen with it cuz
8:41 gpt3 been out for a couple of years
8:44 there were a couple of Articles no one
8:46 really gave a
8:48 [ __ ] and they launched chat GPT and it
8:50 got a million users in five days and 100
8:52 million users in six
8:55 weeks and the world is not the same so
9:00 so I think we'll dig into that so so so
9:03 anyway I was I was talking about making
9:04 the the storyboard so we did this fun
9:06 little storyboard session I think I'm
9:08 going to dig in and just keep I'm going
9:09 to just keep digging deep on that one
9:11 project and just just see what we can do
9:13 with it because it could involve some
9:15 video stuff um P Labs today announced
9:20 Pika 1.0 which is a text to video tool
9:24 that just looks like it's on a whole
9:26 another level I can show you a video of
9:28 that created a GPT today for creating
9:32 Google business profile updates for
9:34 businesses fun little idea yeah that's
9:36 awesome Jim all right so so I'm G to
9:40 share show you
9:43 Jim where you can share that if that's
9:45 something that you want to share with
9:46 the
9:47 community all right let's let's go let's
9:50 go do some stuff here um all right I'm
9:52 going to
9:53 do before we jump over to the website
9:57 there's a bunch of our clients
10:01 these are the
10:02 wrong okay all right if you are brand
10:07 new to um to AI if you have not tried
10:11 chat
10:13 GPT it's we won't shame you but we will
10:16 strongly encourage you to get thee to a
10:19 nuny get thee to chat. open.com go to
10:22 chat GPT right now like not tomorrow
10:25 like oh Kyle I don't want to I'm not
10:27 very technical I heard heard you got to
10:30 do prompt engineering and I'm not an
10:32 engineer if you sound like this in any
10:35 way words tone crackly voice just go
10:39 there
10:41 anyway M I don't want to learn anything
10:45 I know it's called AI learning lab M KY
10:48 what are we going to do let's go there
10:51 anyway Adobe said their Firefly tool is
10:53 supposed to generate storyboard from
10:56 scripts in the next version Oh that's
10:58 interesting cool very nice in the next
11:02 updates yeah adobe's being pretty
11:04 aggressive about what they're putting
11:05 out there um anyway just go there and
11:08 and just start playing with it also sign
11:10 up for the wait list for gp4 that that's
11:13 temporarily paused you want chat GPT for
11:16 if you can afford the 20 bucks a month
11:19 of all the services to pay your 20 bucks
11:21 to chat GPT is the one I'm not paid by
11:25 them I'm not on their payroll I [ __ ]
11:27 should be this Channel's like a just a
11:29 big Giant ad for them s Sam Alman once
11:34 he gets his employment situation
11:35 straightened out he should just call me
11:37 up and say Kyle you're the best awesome
11:39 man keep up the good work I'm waiting
11:42 for the call Sam I'm right here I'm here
11:44 for you buddy um Sam used to be jealous
11:47 of me he got over it he's he's he's done
11:50 some he's done some work he's done some
11:52 work and then he's been through some
11:54 struggles he got
11:55 fired and then he got rehired and then
11:58 well he sort of got re reir and then he
11:59 got fired again and then he got sort of
12:01 rehired and then but the talks broke
12:03 down and then someone else was brought
12:04 in and then but then he got hired at
12:06 Microsoft so anyway Sam's been through
12:08 some
12:09 stuff that said no one is [ __ ]
12:12 catching these guys Amazon just came out
12:15 with a chat GPT today uh called q that
12:19 is uh nearly as good as chat GPT 3.5
12:22 which is the free version of that um
12:25 grock is apparently nearly as good as as
12:28 chat gpt3
12:30 .5 that's that's the new Twitter version
12:33 of this um so just go there and start
12:36 playing and then and then we will oh
12:38 what's the benefit of playing the 20
12:40 I'll show you so some of the bullets on
12:42 screen are are it chat GPT 4 some of the
12:47 things that it has that 3.5 doesn't one
12:49 is it's 10
12:52 times
12:54 um it's 10 times more better it's so so
12:59 cat GPT 3.5 is 175 billion parameters it
13:04 doesn't what matter what parameters are
13:06 it's just stuff it knows basically
13:10 gp4 is 1.8 trillion it's 10 times as
13:14 many and it it's also I think it's 10
13:17 different or eight different individual
13:19 smaller models that all work in
13:21 coordination just gp4 is just on another
13:24 level in terms of what it does it also
13:27 can see images you can upload images you
13:31 can upload documents like PDFs like the
13:35 the thing I'm going to show tonight I
13:36 uploaded a PDF of a screenplay and it
13:38 just read it it's got 125,000 token
13:42 context window which basically means
13:44 it's got a really big memory you can
13:46 upload things like whole screenplays or
13:48 whole novels or big business reports and
13:50 it can ingest it all understand it and
13:53 you can start interacting with it it can
13:56 um do this thing called uh uh code
13:59 interpreter or Advanced Data analysis
14:01 where you can upload a CSV file and it
14:04 can analyze the data and even create
14:06 charts and graphs out of the trends that
14:08 it finds it's
14:10 remarkable it can um generate images so
14:14 I did some storyboarding on the
14:16 screenplay I
14:17 uploaded
14:20 um Can somebody who has chat gp4 send me
14:24 an invite code to join chat gp4 do you
14:27 need to send an invite code I don't
14:29 think you need
14:30 to Eric Renovations tell me if I'm wrong
14:33 some someone else go make sure you're
14:35 going to chat.
14:37 open.com there should be a like go to
14:40 your
14:41 account um hang
14:44 on go
14:49 to um my plan go to your name and go to
14:54 my
14:55 plan and I would
14:57 assume right here here where it says
14:59 plus there's some sort of opportunity to
15:04 get on the weit list all
15:07 right so go do that
15:12 um okay so so here's what we're going to
15:16 do I'm going to take you over here I'm
15:18 going to show
15:20 you the AI salon so the AI Salon is a
15:24 community that I
15:26 started a year ago
15:30 a week from
15:32 today so next Tuesday we have um a
15:39 meeting where's
15:42 our this special event we're having our
15:45 one-year anniversary meeting uh next
15:47 December 5th at 5:00 P p.m mountain and
15:50 so if you come to the salon and join it
15:53 come come to our meeting come join the
15:55 meeting and then I'll I'll I'll walk you
15:57 through this so to get to this site
16:00 it is
16:02 at there AIS salon.
16:06 mn. Co
16:10 not. we saved you typing that extra
16:13 letter so That's mighty networks and AI
16:16 Salon is the is the web address okay and
16:20 then if you um when you get here there's
16:24 there's the way Mighty networks works
16:26 there's a feed which is just kind of
16:27 like a Facebook feed and then down here
16:30 where it says Salon info this is where
16:31 the where the good stuff is so about the
16:33 salon we'll tell you about the
16:35 salon who we are why we do what we do
16:39 our values things like curiosity and
16:42 generosity and exploration and
16:45 collaboration and inclusion and
16:48 empathy and you know go check all that
16:50 out make sure that the values resonate
16:52 with you if they do awesome uh there's
16:55 things about navigating the network
16:57 Rules of Engagement things like that
17:00 um but then down here in community this
17:02 is what we're going to play with tonight
17:04 okay so can I make this bigger so you
17:07 can see it a little more better all
17:10 right so the Welcome Wagon is where you
17:14 introduce yourself so one of our values
17:15 is generosity so if you come over here
17:19 and join if you decide to join the
17:20 community um introduce yourself be
17:23 generous tell us who you are tell us
17:24 what you're up to things like that then
17:27 we've got the water cooler which is just
17:29 chitchat you can talk about all all
17:31 things AI there's a showand tell Channel
17:33 I'm going to walk you through that so
17:35 there's all sorts of cool things that
17:37 people are making and showing off and oh
17:40 that's very cool cam katkin cam katkin
17:42 from Cleveland how can I help you very
17:45 cool that's a beautiful um a beautiful
17:49 image that Silver Fox Lori Blair put
17:53 together
17:54 um dealing with grief it's an image
17:57 about grief [ __ ] stunning
17:59 um so that's Show and Tell there's a
18:01 news channel so if you've got news you
18:04 can uh share it there's AI tools and
18:07 resources so if there's a cool tool that
18:09 you want to share you can do that you
18:10 can also ask for help so all this stuff
18:14 is is fun stuff we can play with also in
18:16 the salon are guilds there's a 101 Guild
18:19 there's an Art Guild a writing Guild a
18:21 business Guild Pates AI mechanics Pates
18:23 in here a lot so the mechanics is like a
18:26 howto if you want to geek out there's a
18:28 healthcare Guild there's a a video Guild
18:31 so so go check all that stuff out but
18:33 what we're going to do tonight
18:36 is as I sort of do my stuff and and if
18:40 if you're playing around in Del which
18:42 you should be or if you're playing
18:43 around in mid Journey or if you're
18:44 making videos on Runway ml with their
18:47 new motion brush or if you're generating
18:50 gpts um come share them in the show and
18:53 tell and I'm going to show you how this
18:54 works now you're like but Kyle we know
18:57 how to use the website yeah but there's
18:59 there's cool stuff here so I'm going to
19:00 show it to you okay so you've got your
19:03 feed and then you've got categories and
19:06 so the categories are basically just
19:07 hashtags so if I want to go look at
19:10 images I can just click on the images
19:11 hashtag and that'll just show me all
19:15 images um which is
19:19 cool the feed can have all sorts of
19:22 stuff in it it can have videos in it it
19:24 can have music in it it can have gpts in
19:26 it hyperlinks websites things like that
19:28 and then each of the posts just like
19:31 Facebook has you can hard it you can say
19:33 oh that's really cool and you can also
19:35 comment on it so so it's basically
19:37 threaded discussions for every post the
19:40 other thing you can do if you click in
19:41 this upper right hand corner this little
19:43 um switch to list view it makes these
19:46 things into these kind of more easy to
19:49 scan really quickly all the stuff like
19:51 here's a cool thing that someone made
19:53 using the new AI Salon
19:56 logo Be not Afraid made that isn't that
19:58 slick squint your eyes it's our
20:00 logo um and so what I'd like you to do
20:04 what my what my request is tonight is
20:07 that as you make stuff and as you're
20:09 just [ __ ] around and there's I am so
20:12 wordy and addde there are going to be
20:15 times here where you're going to be like
20:16 well I don't want to leave but God I'm
20:18 not really listening to anything he's
20:19 saying he's saying stupid [ __ ] he's dumb
20:21 what is he always this dumb why is he
20:23 dumb why is he talking dumb stuff if I'm
20:25 in a talking dumb stuff section go make
20:27 [ __ ] and then go share [ __ ] go share
20:31 [ __ ] over here so if you've got um uh
20:35 you know images or cool stuff you made
20:37 show show those and share and tell if
20:39 there's a news item that I haven't been
20:41 talking about and you want to flag do
20:43 that um if you've got a cool tool or
20:46 resource do that if you want to ask for
20:48 help do that the community is is super
20:50 generous and and will help now there's
20:51 one other thing that I want to show
20:53 you so when you go to create a new um a
20:58 new post so so I can say let's say I'll
21:01 go grab an
21:03 image let's see I probably have one of
21:06 my things I did from my screen
21:16 play let's
21:20 do that one's one of the things from my
21:24 screenplay which I'll show you in a
21:26 second from dolly3 so I'm going to
21:29 upload that and I'll say um
21:34 scene from wait I'm going to
21:38 say opening
21:46 scene
21:49 um still
21:52 from salmon flying
21:56 East screenplay
22:01 uh from dolly or from chat GPT chat
22:06 GPT now what I can do is and what you
22:09 should do an important Habit to get into
22:11 in the lower right hand corner you can
22:13 add a hashtag and so we've pre-built a
22:17 bunch of hashtags for you to add so if
22:19 you click on that this is an image so
22:22 I'm going to add the images hashtag also
22:25 one of the hashtags we added is the
22:26 Irregulars hashtag so if you're an
22:29 irregular those of you that are here
22:31 that are you know who you are um talk
22:33 about the Irregulars Channel yeah I I
22:35 will do that as well um so so so Ted
22:39 what I want people to do tonight is just
22:40 share in Regular Show and Tell but I'm
22:42 going to talk about the irregular
22:43 Channel if you're an irregular um and
22:46 you're sharing out in Regular Show and
22:48 Tell um add the Irregulars hashtag and
22:51 then you can you can now filter by um
22:55 images from the Irregulars and and so if
22:58 you don't know who the Irregulars are
23:00 the Irregulars are people who show up
23:02 here regularly and have named themselves
23:05 the
23:06 Irregulars and they're all super cool
23:09 people now if you're an irregular if
23:11 you're someone who comes here a lot or
23:13 if you're a subscriber to this live
23:15 there is a private um Irregulars Club um
23:20 we're we're calling these things Club so
23:21 it's it's a private club and so it's
23:24 people that come here a lot and there's
23:26 two sections in the Irregulars Club
23:28 there's a chat which you can just do
23:31 chitty chat you the the drag about chat
23:34 on on Mighty networks is you can't
23:36 respond to someone else's chat it's just
23:38 kind of like this big long linear kind
23:40 of like Discord but without the ability
23:42 to react to things which is kind of a
23:44 drag but then there's also a share cool
23:46 things section so if you're in the
23:49 Irregulars you can also share cool
23:50 things there all right so this is a
23:52 little private area so if you're a
23:53 subscriber here or if you share up
23:56 regularly um that's how you get in there
23:58 and it's it's really just you know if if
24:01 you're showing up and you're being
24:02 generous um chances are good you're
24:04 going to get in
24:06 there and that's that so go
24:10 to if you missed it if you come in go to
24:13 AIS salon.
24:15 mn. um sign up for the salon check out
24:18 about the salon check out our values and
24:20 then as we play tonight um share things
24:24 in Show and Tell and I'll keep checking
24:26 back in and looking at stuff and
24:28 and things like that let's see let's go
24:31 look at some images in show inel because
24:34 there were some cool ones
24:37 here that's mine for my little
24:39 screenplay
24:41 thing Tom Tom notor oh good very nice
24:45 images Irregulars very nice use of H
24:47 hashtags oh and then look look what what
24:49 happens what's cool about it is I just
24:51 like hashtag if you if you know how
24:53 hashtags work but now I can click on
24:55 Irregulars and there you go there's
24:57 there's Tom
24:59 motorcycle all right so pretty slick
25:02 pretty slick pretty slick P slick all
25:06 right
25:11 um Daisy Thomas that is very tricky that
25:16 that looks like did you do that at the
25:19 cocacola site it it looks like they've
25:22 got one of the one of their
25:24 Styles kind of makes images that look
25:26 like that
25:28 blue hair don't care Dolly and
25:30 watercolor style that's super
25:33 cool that's
25:35 beautiful another one from Lori
25:38 Blair she lost someone recently sorry
25:41 about that Silver Fox that sucks but man
25:44 what a beautiful what a beautiful image
25:46 what a beautiful tribute
25:51 damn uh uh uh uh Sherry
25:55 Banks nurse into healthc care
25:59 very cool
26:01 beautiful
26:03 steo come to the show and
26:05 tell all right cool stuff so as you make
26:08 stuff tonight share it share share share
26:12 away all right and then you can comment
26:14 on stuff you can ask questions oh one
26:16 other
26:17 thing if if you um wonder the hell are
26:22 we going to do
26:26 this H the same issue it's not just you
26:30 okay people are having trouble with open
26:33 AI if you're interested if you want to
26:36 come up on stage tonight um here's how
26:39 I'd like to do this because this kind of
26:42 new cuz the the reason I'm reluctant to
26:45 bring people up on stage is I I don't
26:48 want you know sort of idiots who are in
26:50 here to do ticktock battles and crap
26:53 like that or just come in here to sort
26:55 of Hawk their [ __ ] um but if there's
26:58 something you want to talk about my
26:59 request is this go to the water cooler
27:02 discussion and just post it in the water
27:04 cooler discussion and let me know I'll
27:06 I'll occasionally come check in here and
27:07 if any mods are in here um you can also
27:10 check in water cooler and just if
27:12 there's if there's some interesting
27:13 thing and someone wants to come up just
27:15 let me know and I'll go I'll go check
27:16 water cooler all
27:19 right all right groy gry
27:24 Groo it's Galia it's it's
27:28 it's czy you can make money
27:32 with I don't know if you knew that but
27:35 you
27:40 can all right did you guys know Pi keeps
27:43 track of your conversation and we'll
27:45 text you
27:48 randomly about things you say um I knew
27:52 that it kind of keep kept track of your
27:54 conversation
27:57 um
27:58 yeah my Pi is all confused because I do
28:00 a lot of demos on Pi so so I I just have
28:04 like random non seitters like it's more
28:06 add than normal should they use a
28:09 specific hashtag Kyle I don't think we
28:11 put a hashtag
28:13 in I don't think you can use a hashtag
28:16 in water coolers chat so just say hey
28:19 I'm in the live and I want to talk about
28:22 XY or
28:23 Z we'll we'll figure something out
28:26 there
28:30 [Music]
28:31 yeah there's no you can't well wait
28:33 maybe you can put a hashtag can you just
28:35 type a
28:45 hashtag yeah you can just type in
28:47 Irregulars hashtag yeah so yes use a
28:50 hashtag use hashtag
28:53 Irregulars and then I can just search
28:55 for Irregulars and see if if anything's
28:57 there yeah that's a good idea see see I
29:00 don't know what I'm doing here oh look
29:01 Kate G thank you Kate new member welcome
29:05 so do me a favor here's another request
29:07 if you're new here please go to the
29:09 Welcome Wagon and introduce yourself
29:11 okay David Miller um I saw him he did
29:15 this four hours ago so please go
29:17 introduce yourself let us know who you
29:19 are um and then yeah share things what
29:21 what' she do here oh that's very
29:24 cute that's super cute oh nice hey
29:26 Sherry Banks that's beautiful beautiful
29:29 what is that
29:30 molecule very nice very nice I like it
29:35 Kyle can you please show us Pi have a
29:37 conversation with it sure I can
29:39 absolutely do that let's flip okay oh
29:42 that's good slash live slash hash okay
29:45 so if if you want to talk about uh
29:48 something on stage go to water cooler
29:51 and use the hashtag live and
29:54 Irregulars and and then that way we can
29:57 flag it and it'll be cool to be able to
30:01 go back and see all that stuff so I like
30:04 it I like it I like it I like
30:07 it so I don't even know who's in here
30:09 tonight but let's go play with pi
30:11 someone wanted to see
30:14 Pi we need some custom gpts for Mighty
30:17 networks that's a good idea actually
30:20 Clint Copperhead want to suggest some
30:22 ideas that's uh you could you could uh
30:28 so in the um in the
30:31 guilds in the guilds might be a good
30:33 place to do that figure out an
30:34 appropriate Guild like either the
30:36 Builder Guild or the business
30:38 Guild
30:40 um and you can start a b you can
30:43 basically start a thread in a
30:45 guild um okay so this is my
30:49 iPad and I'm I'm doing the PI app so I'm
30:53 not going to the pi website I'm using
30:55 the PI app so pi and then I'm going to
30:58 start over so here we are so Pi is just
31:02 like a regular um you know large
31:06 language model so I can I can type in
31:08 here and I can go
31:15 um explain quantum physics to me in a
31:26 haiku
31:29 let's
31:30 see here's a high coup about here's a
31:33 high coup about Quant particles small in
31:35 Tangled in the fabric bizarre and true I
31:38 hope that satisfies your request for a
31:40 quantum physics Haiku do you want to try
31:42 another so there I just did it where I
31:45 typed it in even though I said it I just
31:47 typed it in but you can actually put
31:48 this into conversation mode so you hit
31:52 hit the little thing on the
31:54 right no that's a good one can you do it
31:58 now as a Shakespearean
32:04 monologue so I don't have to hit return
32:06 I just talked to it per chance it doth
32:08 maketh a haiku with units minuscule as
32:10 entwined with the shroud of a multifold
32:13 realm so strange and yet so true that
32:15 quark and electron measure not so plain
32:18 but in not but waves that spth the space
32:21 betwix what is seen and the truth of the
32:24 being an uncertainty Reigns of act and
32:27 potential pchan his Quantum a weave Twix
32:31 space and
32:33 time that was lovely um can you make me
32:37 a country song about being sciency
32:43 [Laughter]
32:46 smart sciencey
32:48 smart you'll gather around for a tale of
32:51 science fairs and geeky smarts I was
32:53 born a nerd with glasses thick as Coke
32:55 bottles and a pocket protector I studied
32:58 hard and won the science fair with my
33:00 robot friend now I'm a physicist with a
33:04 it's not a very good song oh she didn't
33:07 really write it as a song oh you know
33:08 what's funny okay so here's another
33:09 thing about Pi so there's two modes to
33:13 Pi now um there's just pi and there's
33:19 support Pi so what I was in was support
33:22 pie support pie is more like a therapist
33:25 like if you want to have a conversation
33:27 you want to work through some [ __ ]
33:31 um or you just you know just want to
33:33 deal with some stuff um that's what
33:35 support Pi is for so I had it in support
33:37 Pi so now let me move it over to regular
33:39 pi and
33:40 say
33:44 um can you write a country song about
33:47 being sciencey
33:53 [Music]
33:55 smart oh you bet how about this didy I'm
33:58 a scientist down to the core got a brain
34:00 like a computer always wanting to learn
34:02 more in the lab I wear so she can't sing
34:06 yet but anyway um so that's Pi so so Pi
34:10 is designed to be a conversational
34:13 assistant um the company behind Pi is
34:17 called inflection they're going to be um
34:21 I think they're going to be a pretty big
34:23 deal oh forever hooked okay
34:26 cool need
34:27 okay Tom Needler cool maybe I should
34:30 change my name to Tom Forever hook no
34:32 you're good I know who you are now
34:34 that's super cool
34:37 um all right you know what I'm going to
34:39 do also I'm G to just flip Show and Tell
34:42 here and then there you go I'll just pop
34:44 like as as people post new things in
34:46 Show and Tell oh new
34:50 activity Matt what's happening Mr K oh
34:54 Mr K running through time he said got a
34:57 Time Warp all right that's very cool
35:00 beautiful did you Mr K did you follow
35:03 instructions he's a teacher did you
35:06 follow
35:07 instructions oh gpts I used my class
35:11 gamified GPT to make this lesson to show
35:13 imagery yes he did use hashtags by the
35:16 way the the teacher follows instructions
35:18 which is good it's a good
35:20 sign oh nice and he he wrote a lot of
35:22 stuff here okay I'm going to let my
35:24 students generate wait so Mr Mr K I used
35:28 my class gamified GPT to make this
35:31 lesson to show imagery cool I'm going to
35:34 let my students generate prompts to see
35:36 what their images look like related to
35:39 the ones that GPT came up with oh that's
35:41 super cool the image above is to go with
35:45 the first
35:48 poem poetry line with vivid imagery oh
35:52 that's so
35:54 cool I dig it all right he
35:57 loving it loving it you people are
36:01 creative I like it I like it a lot if
36:04 people who post in Show and Tell also
36:06 post their
36:08 prompts it would be us
36:12 newbies oh it help us newbies I believe
36:15 so here so here's the thing
36:18 Vic in dolly in in uh if you're making
36:22 your images in stable diffusion or mid
36:26 Journey um then sharing the prompt will
36:29 help a lot of the people in here are
36:31 making their images in chat GPT so I'm
36:34 going to go show that I'm going to go
36:35 show show how to do that um the thing
36:40 about making images in chat GPT using
36:42 Dolly 3 is that it actually does the
36:45 prompting so if you want to get to the
36:47 prompt you actually have to dig for it
36:49 so so we'll see if we can do that
36:53 um oh my God yes bring it bring it to
36:56 the classroom AB absolutely Mr K's
36:58 killing it so Mr K is I I don't know
37:00 where you are I don't know what what
37:03 state you're in but um totally into AI
37:07 has a Tik Tok Channel um and I think
37:10 it's called Mr K all day is that right
37:13 and and teaching fellow Educators about
37:16 Ai and and bringing it in the classroom
37:18 like [ __ ] yes
37:21 yes
37:23 yes get the thinking caps on right start
37:27 teaching critical thinking exactly what
37:28 you're doing I'll make this GPT here
37:31 that's going to make images and then you
37:32 make your own prompts and then let's
37:34 compare them and then let's talk about
37:35 it let's use our brains there's a
37:38 concept instead of just making people
37:41 memorize rote [ __ ] Earth rocker thank
37:43 you very
37:47 much cuz that's going to be the
37:50 skill think about where we're going so
37:52 if you're kind of new to this AI
37:54 [ __ ] what the AI stuff is doing very
37:57 very rapidly is it's getting better and
37:59 better and better at
38:01 executing Mr K is the state of
38:04 Awesomeness is in the state of
38:06 Awesomeness Mr K is in state of
38:08 Awesomeness um these AIS are are
38:13 increasingly doing the Tactical
38:16 work that people
38:19 do and so couple of things happen one is
38:23 you can you can get good at doing
38:25 tactical work that you weren't good at
38:27 before like maybe you're not good with
38:29 words well it's good with words maybe
38:32 you're not good with images it's good
38:33 with images maybe you're not good with
38:35 coding or you have ADD like me and you
38:37 can't you don't have the attention span
38:38 to do coding it
38:40 does so as an individual you're going to
38:43 be able to level up on skills that you
38:47 didn't think would be possible in your
38:50 lifetime and then and then what happens
38:54 is what's required is people that can
38:56 think across disciplines so if all you
38:59 know is one discipline you're going to
39:01 be at a disadvantage in in the the world
39:03 moving forward and so that's why this
39:05 critical thinking thing and thinking you
39:07 know tangentially about this that or the
39:11 other is going to be a super power Sonia
39:15 teaches with chat GPT oh Sonia that's
39:17 super cool um I introduced perplexity AI
39:20 to my students today to do research
39:21 that's super cool Sonia has a Tik Tok
39:24 Channel as well I think I think it's
39:26 it's Mr K has talked about um about
39:30 starting an education Guild so I think
39:32 we're going to start an education Guild
39:33 my students were blown away by the
39:35 references in perplexity Ai and the time
39:38 they would be would save using it yeah
39:41 what what happens with AI is it it it
39:43 does a lot of the drudgery work like
39:46 what here's what I've not found and I I
39:48 don't think this will be true for long
39:50 but right now these AI
39:53 tools they take you from zero like you
39:56 just have a kind of a whisper of an idea
39:58 they take you from zero to about 80%
40:01 like that like like
40:06 that and then getting it from 80% to
40:09 100% is almost impossible if you get
40:11 good at prompting and you get clever
40:13 with how you do it you can get it to
40:15 like 85% maybe so somewhere between 75
40:19 and 85% is kind of the range where these
40:21 tools get you these
40:23 days
40:25 um but what that means means is to get
40:28 to that 75 or 80% historically probably
40:31 would have taken you an hour or two or a
40:34 week or two and now it's done in a
40:36 minute or two so you can use that same
40:39 hour or that same 2hour block where you
40:43 would have been just getting it to 80%
40:45 you can spend that entire 2hour block
40:47 refining it or coming up with new ideas
40:50 or coming up with more ideas and so it
40:54 it it just it it starts to really expand
40:57 what's possible and and that's again
40:59 it's what it's going to require is the
41:01 ability to think about [ __ ] what do I
41:04 actually want here please give an
41:07 example of thinking across different
41:09 what was that different
41:12 disciplines I I'll go show you right now
41:15 I think that's what that said Can
41:16 someone repin that oh yeah here it is
41:19 thinking across different
41:21 platforms well I'll I'll show you so so
41:24 here's what we'll do we'll go to chat
41:26 GPT
41:29 and I'll I'll show you how to think
41:31 across different platforms but within
41:33 the same platform so so across different
41:36 disciplines all right so this is this is
41:39 chat
41:40 GPT um down the Le hand side is my
41:42 prompt history and then if you've got
41:44 chat GPT
41:46 4 um you've also got these things called
41:49 custom gpts or just gpts so all these
41:52 little things on the left are gpts that
41:54 I've made and then the one at the top is
41:56 just just regular GPT and the ones these
42:00 ones here are kind of specialized
42:01 versions of that so I made one called
42:03 Sin City sipper this was the first GPT I
42:06 made and it's a it's a Vegas bartender
42:10 uh with a Twist on the classic so I've
42:12 got some pre- prompted prompts here
42:14 reinvent the margarita for me what's
42:16 your Twist on a Moscow Mule make a
42:19 classic martini classier let's do that
42:22 one we'll do make a make a classic
42:24 martini classier and so City zipper is
42:27 going to make an image of the drink it's
42:29 going to show us and then it's going to
42:30 give us the recipe sometimes it gives
42:33 you the recipe first sometimes it gives
42:34 you the image first but this is
42:37 using what's called multimodality if you
42:40 want a if you want a big uh 25 cent word
42:42 you can take into your class although 25
42:44 cent words these days don't really buy
42:46 you much do they here's a $2 word so the
42:49 Las Vegas CL style classic martini oh
42:52 it's just a classic look at that that's
42:55 lovely
42:57 high quality gin vermouth Olive an
42:59 edible Gold Leaf nice ah very nice all
43:04 right so so that's just kind of a
43:06 specialized chat gbd but it's it's doing
43:09 some cool stuff it's making a recipe
43:11 it's making an image so now let's go to
43:14 chat GPT and let's let's take this idea
43:17 of of
43:18 multimodality
43:20 um or or just just sort of fast context
43:25 switching
43:28 so let's
43:31 say try to think of something that I've
43:34 got little experience
43:46 [Music]
43:49 in all
43:52 right let's say I want to start an
43:54 organizing business right
43:58 so what I can say is I can come in here
44:00 so what I'm what I'm about to do I'm
44:01 going to I'm going to hit the the sort
44:03 of translate to text uh button here this
44:06 is just an OSX thing this isn't really
44:08 chat GPT I'm just doing it so you don't
44:11 have to watch me type so I'm going to
44:17 say I'm starting an organizing business
44:21 and I don't know anything about business
44:24 so I want you to act like a consultant
44:27 who specializes in helping solopreneurs
44:32 get their business off the ground
44:36 period the first thing I want to do is
44:42 understand what are the important
44:44 components of running a
44:48 business
44:51 okay and so now it's going to tell us
44:53 and it'll probably do it pretty good you
44:55 to have a business plan e no I don't
44:57 like that market research legal
45:00 structure and compliance branding and
45:04 marketing financial
45:09 management starting a business
45:11 especially as a solopreneur is exciting
45:14 and challenging
45:16 Endeavor
45:17 so continued learning and adaptation
45:21 work life balance
45:25 okay
45:27 I find a business plan intimidating is
45:30 there another way we can plan the
45:33 business without it being a formal
45:35 business
45:37 plan although with chat
45:40 GPT it'll come up with a business plan
45:43 for you you can just have have it ask
45:44 you questions and it'll come up with it
45:46 absolutely creating a formal business
45:47 plan can be da daunting especially when
45:50 just starting out the one-page business
45:53 plan this is a concise version of a
45:55 tradition Trad traditional business plan
45:57 focus on key Concepts business concept
46:00 target market unique selling proposition
46:02 Revenue stream major
46:04 goals all right great the lean canvas
46:09 model
46:11 okay so I'm just going to stop this
46:14 right here so that's
46:16 great
46:18 so so what I'm doing right now is I'm
46:21 kind of in inquiry mode right I'm just
46:24 trying to like I'm trying to figure out
46:28 I'm trying to learn how to start right
46:32 so now I'm in how to start mode but
46:33 let's let's go back here and
46:37 say um market research legal structure
46:41 branding and
46:42 marketing financial
46:44 management
46:51 um I don't know anything about financial
46:54 management can you give me the the three
46:56 most important things I should
46:59 track in my new home organizing business
47:03 from a financial
47:09 perspective certainly financial
47:12 management is crucial for the health and
47:15 sustainability of the business you
47:16 should track your income or your Revenue
47:18 you should track your expenses so far so
47:23 good and your cash flow can you make it
47:26 through the end of the week can you buy
47:29 organizing supplies all that sort of
47:32 stuff in addition there's also an
47:33 important to set aside money for taxes
47:35 and understand your tax
47:36 obligations so I'm going to
47:41 say okay great can you put together
47:45 three different scenarios in a
47:47 spreadsheet that I can
47:52 download that have a worksheet for each
47:57 scenario where scenario one
48:00 is I spend more than I make scenario two
48:04 is I make more than I spend but my cash
48:07 flow is bad and scenario three is just
48:13 right now I don't know if this is going
48:15 to
48:16 work but what it should do okay it did
48:20 it popped up this thing that says
48:21 analyzing what's that mean okay so
48:23 notice I just did some some context
48:25 switching
48:26 I just went from inquiry about I don't
48:29 know where to start my business and then
48:31 I thought oh I don't know anything about
48:33 finances that really scares me just what
48:35 are the three most important things and
48:36 it tells me the three most important
48:38 things now I went I went a little
48:40 Advanced here and and and doing some
48:42 scenario planning but I want to see this
48:46 as numbers right so I just switched into
48:49 Finance mode and so when it says
48:52 analyzing it's using this thing called
48:54 code interpreter or Advanced Data
48:56 analysis and if I click on this look at
48:58 what it's doing behind the scenes it is
49:02 writing and executing its own python
49:04 code to build me that spreadsheet I just
49:06 asked
49:07 for
49:09 so I don't have
49:12 to flip like like if I wanted to do
49:16 scenario planning traditionally and I
49:18 didn't know much about it I would
49:20 probably go to Google and I would be
49:22 like small business scenario planning
49:25 and there would be four 400 [ __ ]
49:26 websites trying to sell me their
49:28 software on doing scenario planning and
49:31 and it would it would be hours and hours
49:34 of me just trying to figure out like all
49:37 I want to know is what does it mean when
49:39 when you don't have good cash flow right
49:42 well now it's it's writing all that
49:46 let's see I have created a spreadsheet
49:47 with three different Financial scenarios
49:49 for your home organizing business
49:50 scenario one overspending this shows a
49:53 situation where you spend more than you
49:55 make each month scenario two bad cash
49:58 flow in this scenario you make more than
50:00 you spend but your cash flow is
50:02 inconsistent leading to potential issues
50:04 scenario 3 just right this is a balanced
50:07 scenario where your income steadily
50:09 exceeds your expenses indicating a
50:11 healthy cash flow you can download the
50:13 spreadsheet here
50:16 click and there it is and let's go look
50:20 at
50:24 it
50:26 open
50:35 with so scenario one my
50:40 income is ,000 in January it's wait can
50:44 I make this
50:46 bigger yeah so there's scenario
50:50 one it's bad there's scenario
50:54 two
51:00 like you know I was cash flow positive
51:02 here I was cash flow negative there this
51:04 isn't super sophisticated I could go
51:06 back and I could say hey I want I want
51:08 this more
51:09 sophisticated and then here's scenario
51:11 three right where it's just right I'm
51:13 making 500 bucks cash flow per
51:17 month I love Be Your Own Boss you can
51:20 work 80 hours a 80 hours a week for $500
51:24 a month be your own
51:26 B you can make money
51:29 with by the way what I'm doing right now
51:32 is how you make money with chat GPT
51:35 right it's not you there is some magic
51:39 [ __ ] secret of how you make money
51:41 with
51:42 chbt chat GPT is a tool that helps you
51:45 accomplish other
51:46 [ __ ] and so what you need to figure out
51:49 is what problem do I want to solve right
51:53 am I trying to solve a problem for
51:54 someone else am I trying to solve it for
51:55 myself am I trying to do something for
51:57 my
51:59 family okay so so now I've gotten a
52:02 little education in that but but you
52:04 know I don't know the name of my company
52:06 so so context switching
52:09 right you said you could help me with
52:11 marketing branding and I don't have any
52:16 idea what to call my business period can
52:19 you ask me three
52:24 questions about my business
52:27 business that will
52:30 help
52:32 you strategize with me about a name
52:37 period ask each
52:41 question one at a time and don't move on
52:44 to the next question until I've answered
52:46 the previous
52:49 okay and yes am I talking to it like
52:52 it's a person yes why because
52:57 t-rock dang you're smart I don't know if
52:59 this is smart all right absolutely let's
53:01 start with the first question can you
53:03 describe the specific organizing
53:05 services you plan to offer for example
53:08 focusing on home
53:11 organization sure I have ADD and I'm
53:14 really good at creating organizational
53:16 systems and then halfway completing them
53:20 so I'm hoping to do this for other
53:21 people
53:24 too
53:29 thank you for sharing that it's great
53:31 you're leveraging your personal
53:32 experiences who's your target audience
53:35 are you aiming to assist individuals
53:37 similar challenges like those with ADD
53:39 or ADHD are you looking to offer your uh
53:42 to a broader
53:43 audience a much broader audience I'd
53:46 like them to discover my
53:48 ADD along the
53:51 journey all right
53:54 beautiful
53:57 when AI takes over they will remember
53:59 yeah exactly you got to be nice to the
54:01 robots Consulting losing Life That's
54:05 Good uh okay what are some core values
54:07 or feelings you want the business name
54:09 to evoke oh this is
54:12 good I want it to be entertaining and
54:15 memorable and I want
54:20 people to feel like they have to
54:24 call period
54:27 yeah we'll leave it we'll leave it at
54:28 that thank you for your Insight based on
54:31 your focus so now it's it's restating
54:34 what I gave
54:35 it and now it's giving me names chaos
54:39 chaos curators quirky quarters clutter
54:42 Busters unlimited that's not bad muddle
54:46 Masters order Odyssey tidy triumphs fun
54:49 functional spaces enticingly ordered so
54:52 we're going to go with uh clutter
54:54 Busters
54:58 I like clutter Busters but I would like
55:00 to use the word
55:03 [Music]
55:07 Amalgamated integrating Amalgamated as
55:10 adds a unique and sophisticated touch
55:13 clutter Busters
55:17 Amalgamated okay so we'll
55:19 say number two it is and now I need a
55:23 tagline for the business that will let
55:25 people know exactly what they're
55:31 getting so yes I've done some branding
55:34 before but but notice now we went from
55:36 Finance now we're
55:38 into branding but we started out with
55:40 like answer some questions about the
55:42 business now we're now we're getting
55:44 into some positioning right transforming
55:47 chaos into harmony where clutter meets
55:49 creativity organizing life piece by
55:52 piece from mess To Masterpiece that
55:55 sounds
55:57 right all
56:00 right I like number four
56:10 period I really want to explore a logo
56:14 but I think before we make a logo
56:16 someone told me once you should have a
56:18 creative brief can you make me one of
56:23 those now
56:27 that that question like I I don't know
56:31 about you but when I
56:33 am starting something new and I'm living
56:36 in that place of
56:38 ignorance of like I don't know what the
56:41 [ __ ] I'm
56:42 doing like one of the last things I want
56:44 to do on the planet is tell someone that
56:48 I don't know what I'm doing could you
56:49 help what do I do I don't even know what
56:51 I someone told me about a creative brief
56:54 once do I need one of those new
56:56 right all that all that is
56:59 gone all of that
57:01 insecurity is irrelevant because you now
57:04 have a tool that essentially knows
57:08 everything
57:10 and the process of working with with
57:13 chat GPT in particular cat GPT 4 in
57:16 particular now that it's gone
57:20 multimodal is that you can really just
57:23 be in the place of
57:26 full
57:28 ignorance and instant education you know
57:31 back to Mr K right that that it used to
57:34 be I would be in this place of full
57:36 ignorance and I'd want to do something
57:38 and I'd go to Google and then 45 minutes
57:42 or 4 hours later I would still be
57:44 searching for that first Little Nugget
57:48 of knowledge to get me over the hump and
57:51 at some point in those 4 hours the
57:53 humiliation and shame takes over and you
57:56 [ __ ]
57:58 stop well now you don't need to stop you
58:01 can be completely ignorant and [ __ ]
58:03 30 seconds later now you're not now
58:06 you're educated oh that I I've heard
58:09 that I okay I know how to do that now
58:14 okay right I'm an idiot it's hard to
58:16 tell people that yeah exactly it is okay
58:21 so creative brief for clutter bu
58:25 Amalgamated logo the business name is
58:28 clutter Busters Amalgamated the tagline
58:30 is from mess To
58:31 Masterpiece clutter Buster Amalgamated
58:34 is a professional organ organizing
58:37 service that specializes in creating
58:39 personalized effective organizational
58:41 systems for a broad range of
58:44 clients the business stems from the
58:46 owner's unique experience with ADD
58:48 target audience broad audience
58:50 encompassing individuals families and
58:51 small businesses with clutter and
58:53 disorganization in their life core value
58:55 values entertaining memorable
58:57 approachable empathetic transformative
59:00 creative effective did I ever give it
59:02 those words no I said it should be fun
59:04 and like they should remember it it's
59:07 writing this like a creative director
59:09 would
59:11 right objectives of the logo the logo
59:14 should encapsulate um the essence of
59:18 transforming B okay so we have a
59:20 creative brief so now I'm going to
59:23 say great now that we have a creative
59:25 brief I'd like you to use that creative
59:27 brief to give me four logo
59:31 Concepts that you describe before we
59:34 visualize them I'd like to see them in
59:37 my mind's eye rather than going right to
59:46 images
59:48 certainly puzzle piece transformation
59:50 that sounds boring elegant swirl
59:54 organizer
59:56 creative chaos
59:58 clock and the metaphoric butterfly
1:00:02 shelves that okay the last two sound I I
1:00:05 can't even imagine them the design Cent
1:00:07 is around a clock where half is depicted
1:00:09 in a chaotic abstract Manner and the
1:00:11 other half is clean and clear okay I
1:00:13 like that the butterfly symbolizing
1:00:15 transformation and beauty is stylized
1:00:19 also
1:00:23 um I like number
1:00:26 three and number four intrigues me but
1:00:29 instead of a butterfly couldn't we use a
1:00:35 turtle I like
1:00:39 turtles I had that place's business card
1:00:42 but lost it on my desk exactly Ted you
1:00:45 and me both you should see my [ __ ]
1:00:46 desk right now what a what a absolute
1:00:50 flipping
1:00:54 nightmare
1:00:56 okay uh steady Turtle transformation
1:00:59 okay fine so so now I'm going to say
1:01:03 great I'd like you to
1:01:05 create two different versions of three
1:01:08 and the new four for
1:01:15 me using Vector style Graphics period be
1:01:21 sure to
1:01:23 include the company name name and
1:01:26 tagline in the logo
1:01:29 treatment so now we're flipping modes
1:01:32 again so now I went from I went
1:01:37 from conceiving a name conceiving a
1:01:41 tagline thinking about how to bring it
1:01:43 to life visually coming up with Concepts
1:01:46 so now I'm flipping into sort of
1:01:48 thinking about visual concepts and now
1:01:51 it's off making
1:01:53 [ __ ] so there's one of the clock ones
1:01:56 clutter Busters from mess To Masterpiece
1:01:59 or from mess
1:02:04 my by the way spelling it doesn't do so
1:02:07 good clutter Busters from mes To
1:02:09 Masterpiece not bad oh look at the
1:02:12 turtle with the shell here and the
1:02:14 organized shelves here that's kind of
1:02:17 cool memorable his head's on backwards
1:02:20 but you know what do you
1:02:23 want all right there's another clock one
1:02:25 that one's actually pretty cool oh yeah
1:02:27 clutter Busters Amalgamated yeah let's
1:02:30 so so what I'm realizing is we've got we
1:02:32 got too much going on here so but that's
1:02:35 still pretty slick chaos Clarity right
1:02:39 chaos
1:02:40 Clarity and then it's doing one
1:02:46 more
1:02:47 um clutter Busters clutters Amalgamated
1:02:52 from mess To Masterpiece all right
1:02:55 so I'm going to say I like I like two
1:02:58 and three okay so here's what I'm going
1:02:59 to
1:03:00 say I like two and three although both
1:03:03 of them are too busy period I'd like
1:03:06 this to be more flat art than
1:03:10 dimensional
1:03:12 period also I don't want to include the
1:03:15 tagline in the logo period the logo
1:03:18 should just say clutter Busters
1:03:23 Amalgamated
1:03:25 and then I heard something
1:03:28 today but what Kyle what did you hear
1:03:31 please we wait with baited breath is
1:03:34 that what I
1:03:35 smell he's so funny all right we're
1:03:39 going to go clutter Busters Amalgamated
1:03:43 I'm making
1:03:44 it um whatever you call it here camel
1:03:49 case camel case I barely know you okay
1:03:58 the
1:04:01 name
1:04:02 is clutter Busters
1:04:05 Amalgamated I like two and three okay so
1:04:09 what I what I heard on on the Twitter
1:04:11 today somewhere was that if you repeat
1:04:14 the name the text that you want you put
1:04:17 it in quote marks and you put it at the
1:04:20 beginning of your prompt and at the end
1:04:21 of your prompt and apparently that
1:04:23 improves in I don't believe it but this
1:04:27 AI shit's weird so let's see if it
1:04:29 actually does it and let's see if it can
1:04:31 understand what I said there cuz I
1:04:33 didn't say it very good I like two and
1:04:35 three although both both of them are too
1:04:38 busy I'd like this to be a more flat art
1:04:42 than dimensional also I don't want to
1:04:45 include the tagline in the logo so let's
1:04:47 let's see how it does in understand
1:04:49 that's title case oh yeah all right
1:04:53 Vicky listen Strunk and
1:04:57 white oh that's pretty cool oh I like
1:05:00 the I really do like the turtle with the
1:05:01 with the shells shelves the shelves in
1:05:04 the
1:05:08 [Music]
1:05:13 shell and obviously you could go into
1:05:16 illustrator and you
1:05:18 know vectorize this and clutter Busters
1:05:22 Amalgamated that one's not clear at all
1:05:24 so anyway so you could do that and I
1:05:26 mean and this goes on and on and on I
1:05:29 mean you know you could say um you could
1:05:34 say I forgot where we
1:05:38 started what should be my next step now
1:05:40 that I have a
1:05:44 logo because every every business thinks
1:05:47 that that the most important thing is
1:05:49 have a nice logo and then you're
1:05:53 done
1:05:56 all
1:05:58 right so now it's telling me how to do
1:06:00 that so anyway so that's that's a little
1:06:02 a little trip down chat gp4 Lane where
1:06:05 it can it can do all this stuff oh
1:06:07 here's here's the other thing we can do
1:06:10 let's let's flip over to I'll show you
1:06:12 another piece of the
1:06:15 multimodality let's say um
1:06:18 Oregon is
1:06:22 organizer company
1:06:30 flyer and then I'm going to go
1:06:36 images all right let's see what's that
1:06:39 say make your business more creative
1:06:52 no there's cleaning
1:06:58 Services all right let me grab this
1:07:01 one so this says interior design give
1:07:04 your home a new look so I'm going to
1:07:07 go I'm going to screenshot
1:07:16 [Music]
1:07:18 this so so let's say you were you were
1:07:21 walking through town you're getting
1:07:22 ready to start this dang business
1:07:25 business clutter Busters
1:07:27 Amalgamated and you see this flyer for
1:07:30 someone's interior design company you're
1:07:31 like oh I kind of like that that's clean
1:07:33 it's nice it's got pictures I like
1:07:38 it so we're going to go back to chat J
1:07:42 pay and we're going to
1:07:45 go upload that
1:07:52 image of that thing
1:07:58 I found a flyer for another company that
1:08:01 does something similar to what I do
1:08:05 period I'd like you to analyze this
1:08:07 image and describe it for me
1:08:13 and capture all of the
1:08:16 sections and recreate the text for
1:08:20 me formatted using markdown to make it
1:08:23 easier to read
1:08:26 now that last bit there formatted uh
1:08:29 using markdown is is a is a kind of chat
1:08:33 GPT hack it's sort of Faker HTML that it
1:08:37 types in there but it kind of oh and
1:08:39 it's not it's not rendering it right
1:08:41 hang on a
1:08:43 sec so the logo says modern home
1:08:46 interior
1:08:48 design so hang on a sec each of these
1:08:51 sections
1:08:53 okay I I'd like you to actually type out
1:08:56 all of the text that's in that actual
1:08:59 flyer and also I want you to render the
1:09:02 markdown in the browser so I can read it
1:09:05 period I don't want to see any
1:09:08 code uh
1:09:12 uh so chat jbt can see so now it's going
1:09:16 to design us our little
1:09:18 flyer although I don't know why it's
1:09:20 doing stuff in Laura msum well that's
1:09:23 okay
1:09:27 so there's all of our stuff so so now
1:09:29 I'm going to
1:09:32 say great now can you create the text
1:09:37 for my flyer for my business based on
1:09:41 this
1:09:43 example period also
1:09:46 include placeholders for where the
1:09:49 images will
1:09:53 go
1:09:56 I was trying to use for a side project
1:09:59 the text in images was a bit frustrating
1:10:01 still but improving yeah I know the the
1:10:04 the the spelling in the images is is a
1:10:06 mess but you know if you can if you can
1:10:09 go
1:10:12 um placeholder for an image of the
1:10:14 decluttering process so we unclutter
1:10:16 your space did it get the name right
1:10:19 clutter Busters Amalgamated professional
1:10:22 organizing services
1:10:27 so I'm going to
1:10:29 say you didn't use my tagline and the
1:10:33 copy you wrote is boring can you make it
1:10:35 more
1:10:36 entertaining
1:10:44 period for screenshots this is
1:10:47 incredible isn't it every time I do this
1:10:50 it it blows me
1:10:52 away all right
1:10:56 clutter Busters Amalgamated your chaos
1:10:58 Whisperers it it forgot the it forgot
1:11:01 the tagline tame the Mayhem unleash the
1:11:04 to Tranquility with a dash of Life
1:11:07 embark on a clutter-free
1:11:11 adventure I'm going to ask it I'm going
1:11:13 to say it seems like you forgot the
1:11:17 tagline did you or do you remember what
1:11:20 we agreed to
1:11:23 above
1:11:28 [Music]
1:11:30 from mess To Masterpiece there we
1:11:35 go Heroes of Order embrace the
1:11:39 extraordinary space
1:11:41 Alchemy aesthetic order Artistry clutter
1:11:43 vanquishing this is good this is fun all
1:11:47 right so now it described images Lively
1:11:49 image of organizers at
1:11:52 work inspirational image of a cluttered
1:11:54 space turning into an organized
1:11:57 Haven
1:12:00 um I like the images you described can
1:12:05 you please create two photographs comma
1:12:08 one vertical and one
1:12:11 horizontal that
1:12:13 bring those images to life
1:12:19 and would be appropriate for this
1:12:22 flyer
1:12:26 so again I'm not having to prompt this
1:12:28 is not prompt engineering I'm having a
1:12:30 conversation I'm I'm acting like
1:12:35 a you know someone stumbling through
1:12:38 starting a business I mean I'm obviously
1:12:40 do it in kind of a focused way here but
1:12:43 imagine doing this on a Saturday
1:12:45 afternoon you know you're like I [ __ ]
1:12:47 had out with that job Jimmy's an
1:12:51 [ __ ] you know what I'm I'm just going
1:12:54 to go start my own
1:12:57 business there's our vertical
1:12:59 image I look
1:13:02 lovely I'm a brunette I didn't know if
1:13:05 you knew that that is some major ass
1:13:08 organizing there
1:13:12 huh dang Jimmy exactly Jimmy's an ass
1:13:16 Jimmy always has been oh lovely so look
1:13:20 chaos starting to get there it's so
1:13:23 lovely
1:13:26 all right so I'm going to
1:13:30 say that's great but I'm a man not a
1:13:33 woman and can I have the first image
1:13:38 be humorous with me in the middle of
1:13:42 chaos like I'm a
1:13:44 tornado cleaning that crap
1:13:48 up and you don't have to be fancy you
1:13:51 know people I think one of the
1:13:54 misconceptions about AI is it's like
1:13:56 I've got to learn AI I have to learn AI
1:13:59 for my professional business I have to
1:14:02 learn to be an engineer in AI to for to
1:14:06 be a professional for my business for
1:14:08 the all of the professional no just
1:14:11 [ __ ] have
1:14:13 fun [ __ ]
1:14:15 that if this shit's going to come [ __ ]
1:14:18 up all our jobs anyway we might as well
1:14:19 have some fun with it Cosmic lover la
1:14:23 you're the best thank
1:14:25 you I just it's like it's so un perfect
1:14:31 perfect like you see that on a
1:14:33 flyer where the main headline is Heroes
1:14:37 of Order embrace the extraordinary
1:14:39 conquer the clutter clutter Busters
1:14:41 Amalgamated are you freaking kidding
1:14:46 me
1:14:48 boring
1:14:50 memorable does that have to look like me
1:14:52 does that have to look like photographic
1:14:54 stuff no does it matter no here watch
1:14:58 I'm going to do
1:15:01 this you know what I realized is that
1:15:05 clutter Busters
1:15:07 Amalgamated sounds like some turn of the
1:15:11 century Bank from the
1:15:16 192s right before the depression can't
1:15:19 we make a logo that is a humorous take
1:15:22 on a bank logo
1:15:24 and rather than a turtle in the middle
1:15:26 let's have that tornado of
1:15:30 chaos I don't know let's see what it
1:15:34 does 20 bucks a month for this yeah I
1:15:37 mean this
1:15:40 is I am jokingly putting together a real
1:15:44 business here in whatever this has been
1:15:46 35 minutes 40
1:15:49 minutes put it in show and tell Kyle oh
1:15:52 yeah and then I'll show you how to share
1:15:53 the these clutter Busters Amalgamated
1:15:56 it's
1:16:00 close I want it like a
1:16:05 bronze safe
1:16:13 door yeah I'll actually I'm GNA put this
1:16:16 in Show and Tell and then you can take
1:16:19 this prompt if you've got chat
1:16:21 gp4 um you can take this prompt and you
1:16:25 can um play with it and then you can say
1:16:30 hey you know what that that I changed my
1:16:32 mind I don't want to start an organizing
1:16:34 business I want to start a some other
1:16:36 business and just let it just continue
1:16:39 the conversation and see what you
1:16:41 generate and and you know put it
1:16:46 together yeah perfect there we go
1:16:48 there's clutter Busters
1:16:51 Amalgamated or am
1:16:56 aled all right so how I'm going to share
1:16:59 this in the upper right hand corner
1:17:00 there's this little up button share
1:17:03 sharing conversations with images is not
1:17:05 yet supported well that's
1:17:08 stupid I wonder hang on a
1:17:12 sec recipients won't be able to view
1:17:15 data analysis images or download
1:17:18 files but wait hang
1:17:22 on
1:17:24 messages sent
1:17:27 after oh it won't let me do it so
1:17:36 annoying I wonder if I can just copy
1:17:38 this
1:17:39 URL well let's go put it over there and
1:17:42 you tell
1:17:44 me all
1:17:46 right so new
1:17:51 activity Kyle's 88 HD World Cindy [ __ ]
1:17:56 what's happening Cindy [ __ ] you excited
1:17:59 for the party next Tuesday it's going to
1:18:01 be good um let's see let me put it in
1:18:04 this
1:18:05 mode oh there's a lot of stuff in here
1:18:08 oh you guys are doing wow look at all
1:18:09 this cool
1:18:10 [ __ ] it's so cool are you all using
1:18:15 your using your hashtags some are don't
1:18:18 forget to use your
1:18:20 hashtags um okay so I'm going to say
1:18:24 uh here is the um
1:18:30 clutter clitter
1:18:33 oops
1:18:34 clutter
1:18:36 Busters
1:18:38 mated
1:18:42 chat yes I have the emotional stability
1:18:45 of a 14-year-old why so I'm going to put
1:18:49 hasht GPT you can make money with chat
1:18:52 JP and I'm going to put hash
1:18:54 uh
1:18:55 Irregulars so we know this is one of
1:18:57 these crazy ass things and then I'm
1:18:58 going to
1:19:00 put no not
1:19:02 that I'm going to put
1:19:05 that and there's something that open AI
1:19:08 some open AI has their um their whatever
1:19:13 you call it their uh their web previews
1:19:15 are [ __ ] up and it it gives it this
1:19:17 weird error in uh in Mighty networks
1:19:20 hopefully they'll fix that but anyway
1:19:23 can someone go see if you can load that
1:19:26 that um chat here's clutter Busters
1:19:36 Amalgamated that's very
1:19:38 cool that's not dissimilar to how my
1:19:41 brain works and what my office looks
1:19:45 like AI Salon wow that's beautiful who
1:19:47 did that very
1:19:52 cool forever
1:19:54 hooked do you live in the Pacific
1:19:59 Northwest very
1:20:01 cool decluttering organizer throw
1:20:06 away
1:20:09 exactly
1:20:11 a a llama wait oh it's a turtle a
1:20:15 hedgehog and a
1:20:17 llama so here's so this image actually
1:20:20 this is Ted right did Ted did this yeah
1:20:24 Ted Ted's killing it with the images so
1:20:26 check that out
1:20:28 so other than the fact that the turtles
1:20:30 got an extra you know extra appendage
1:20:36 here
1:20:37 um so so
1:20:40 imagine someone that wants to start an
1:20:43 Etsy
1:20:44 store and they're like oh but I don't
1:20:47 have any I I kind of lost my inspiration
1:20:49 for nope can't load it didn't load okay
1:20:52 I'm going to go kill it
1:21:00 then where is it oh it worked for me
1:21:05 because it's mine that's
1:21:08 annoying that is annoying hang on a sec
1:21:12 I can't see the interface elements oh
1:21:14 there we go
1:21:17 delete yes delete all right there we
1:21:22 go
1:21:24 let's go look at some
1:21:26 emoes oh what I was saying is so so I
1:21:29 think one of the things that we're going
1:21:30 to see in this crazy world that we're
1:21:33 about to enter is
1:21:36 that people are going to start to
1:21:38 understand that they can use these tools
1:21:41 kind of as design partners and creative
1:21:43 partners and so someone might see that
1:21:45 image and go well I can make stuffed
1:21:47 animals those are really cute I want to
1:21:48 do a whole line of stuffed animals that
1:21:50 are like that that's not an extra
1:21:52 appendage hatte you dirty dirty boy the
1:21:55 turtle
1:21:59 Whisperer it's good we have someone else
1:22:01 here with sophomoric
1:22:03 [Laughter]
1:22:10 humor how can we make a chat bot okay
1:22:12 let's let's do that next uh I wonder if
1:22:14 we could make plans for a crochet
1:22:18 shirt probably yes and yeah I would
1:22:22 think so so so wait let's go try that
1:22:26 cuz that that see that feels totally
1:22:29 doable let's do a new
1:22:36 chat I want you to act as a crochet
1:22:40 expert that is a master of different
1:22:43 patterns
1:22:47 period can you describe to me how
1:22:49 crocheting
1:22:52 patterns
1:22:58 are shared and
1:23:04 presented they're typically shared
1:23:06 written
1:23:09 instructions charts are
1:23:21 graphs
1:23:32 describe four different classic crochet
1:23:35 patterns for
1:23:41 me the granny square
1:23:45 pattern oh this is too slow I don't
1:23:47 really care about this I just want it to
1:23:50 be
1:23:51 done come on I know what you you're
1:23:53 doing is remarkable and a miracle but
1:23:55 it's taking too long I want it done
1:23:58 now oh this is
1:24:01 tiresome I can't I can't I
1:24:05 can't my my humor bar is so loal
1:24:10 trip thank you for trying this I have a
1:24:13 friend who really needs this oh great
1:24:14 Joseph Baker that's great the Ripple or
1:24:17 chevron pattern the pineapple pattern
1:24:19 okay come on finish I I have an idea for
1:24:21 how to do this okay
1:24:24 so each has its own
1:24:26 charm
1:24:28 okay great I'd like you to create a new
1:24:31 and unique pattern that combines three
1:24:35 and four
1:24:39 period I want you to
1:24:50 create an image comma
1:24:53 perhaps using
1:24:56 python that visualizes this pattern and
1:25:03 includes any abbreviations
1:25:07 for Stitch
1:25:11 types what I'm trying to get it to do is
1:25:13 use code interpreter to yeah so okay so
1:25:17 see where it says it's analyzing let's
1:25:19 see if we can get it to actually
1:25:20 generate something for us so it's doing
1:25:24 it's doing matplot lib which is the the
1:25:27 the drawing library for Python and it's
1:25:30 writing python code this is I so so what
1:25:34 I was talking before about about context
1:25:37 switching and and just how weird it is
1:25:41 is you know crochet patterns are
1:25:44 mathematical right so something
1:25:47 like writing a pattern generator in
1:25:50 Python actually makes sense but but I
1:25:53 don't know [ __ ] python if you're
1:25:55 crocheting you don't know python but if
1:25:57 you can ask if you can understand that
1:25:59 these things do know that and you can
1:26:02 ask it in a clever way then it will
1:26:04 generate some [ __ ] for
1:26:07 you so there's the Chevron pattern DC DC
1:26:11 DC
1:26:13 Inc DC DC
1:26:17 deck I don't
1:26:21 that the seem like it's
1:26:24 horrible
1:26:29 um this seems horrible and it doesn't
1:26:32 look like you actually combined designs
1:26:35 into a single design it's just two
1:26:38 single stitches
1:26:41 period I want to see
1:26:44 it
1:26:45 repeating multiple times so I can get a
1:26:48 sense of what the pattern might look
1:26:51 like
1:26:53 let's see if it does it it may not do it
1:26:55 but anyway so so again what I would what
1:26:58 I would say is just keep playing keep
1:27:00 exploring keep digging in keep digging
1:27:02 in keep digging in I just made a GPT to
1:27:05 Source materials locally to plug my
1:27:08 smart spreadsheet for a builder oh
1:27:10 that's super cool to plug into my smart
1:27:13 spreadsheet for a
1:27:15 builder oh source Camp you made a video
1:27:18 about that today didn't you I saw your
1:27:21 video can't hide from me I see I I see
1:27:25 your videos I scroll on a Ticky talk I'm
1:27:28 not just a maker I'm also a consumer of
1:27:30 the Ticky
1:27:34 talks yeah that's super
1:27:37 cool very very cool you you're getting
1:27:40 into some some function calling there
1:27:42 you you're getting into some fancy stuff
1:27:45 there was an error generating a response
1:27:48 good Lord
1:27:50 regenerate let's see what we do
1:27:53 all right I need some I need some
1:27:54 liquids people all right do me a favor
1:27:56 share this live follow my channel head
1:28:00 on over
1:28:02 to AIS salon.
1:28:07 mn. check out about the salon if you
1:28:11 like what we're about
1:28:13 join and introduce yourself in the
1:28:17 welcome section I think it's Welcome
1:28:19 Wagon and then share some [ __ ] in the
1:28:22 show and tell channnel and tag your
1:28:25 stuff with
1:28:27 hashtags and then let's go see if this
1:28:29 made anything let's see if oh what' we
1:28:32 get well it sort of gave us
1:28:36 something it's
1:28:38 horrible it's probably completely wrong
1:28:42 but it seems to do it oh so here's what
1:28:44 we're going to
1:28:47 do how
1:28:49 about you make a photograph
1:28:54 of a lovely older
1:28:57 woman with the blanket on her lap that
1:29:02 uses this combined
1:29:05 pattern let's see let's let's see if it
1:29:07 can make a little crocheted
1:29:10 blanket now write a country song using
1:29:12 DC DC DC Inc DC
1:29:16 DC
1:29:18 wait car Karen the truth if we upload a
1:29:22 picture of a completed sweater could it
1:29:24 create a pattern I doubt
1:29:27 it well there you go I
1:29:31 mean that may not
1:29:35 be what it was you know those might not
1:29:39 be the right patterns but that certainly
1:29:42 look like the the whatever it the the
1:29:46 what's it called the janky the janky up
1:29:49 and Downy the little mountains the
1:29:52 mountains look right and I assume that's
1:29:54 not a pineapple Stitch and crocheting
1:29:57 but it did put a lovely pineapple in the
1:29:59 middle of that that's a it's a fine
1:30:01 lovely older older woman love it with
1:30:05 her little her little thing she
1:30:08 made let's
1:30:15 go show
1:30:17 me a completely original crocheted
1:30:21 blanket
1:30:23 hanging on a wall at a state fair with a
1:30:26 blue ribbon
1:30:28 period this crocheted
1:30:31 blanket is so beautiful it makes people
1:30:35 weep all right let's see what you can do
1:30:38 chat GPT let's take this to the next
1:30:41 flipping
1:30:45 level Becky Ru who's in here made a
1:30:47 quilting
1:30:51 GPT
1:30:55 Tobias is in here you know what
1:30:57 pineapples mean with the older crowd
1:31:01 right we're not going to talk about that
1:31:04 how' we
1:31:05 do that looks like something you'd see
1:31:07 at a dead
1:31:10 concert but it but it did win doesn't
1:31:13 look very crocheted does it oh yeah sort
1:31:17 of does wait hang on I gotta go I got to
1:31:19 go zoom zoom in on this bad boy where
1:31:40 [Music]
1:31:41 what
1:31:43 right oh it sort of is crocheted isn't
1:31:47 it huh there you have
1:31:50 it looks more like a weave
1:32:03 all
1:32:04 right let's see do you recommend digital
1:32:07 marketing
1:32:09 courses
1:32:21 um
1:32:23 it's a good
1:32:34 question I would say to the ex well it I
1:32:38 don't know what you mean by digital
1:32:39 marketing course if you
1:32:41 mean like a PDF that someone wrote that
1:32:45 you have to read and go through and do
1:32:46 all that [ __ ] probably
1:32:49 not if you me mean you found someone
1:32:54 that you really like and you like how
1:32:55 they talk and you like their thinking
1:32:58 and you want to learn from them and be
1:32:59 able to ask them questions
1:33:02 maybe
1:33:06 um any any kind of learning right now
1:33:09 for me I'm probably going to default to
1:33:12 chat GPT or doing something like pairing
1:33:15 up with two or three other
1:33:18 people that have different skills and
1:33:20 we'll all learn [ __ ] together using chat
1:33:22 GPT because it like the distance here
1:33:25 here's the difference the challenge with
1:33:28 any course right now and you know I've
1:33:30 done workshops people ask me to do
1:33:32 workshops in here I've done I've you
1:33:34 know I've I've done a fair amount of
1:33:38 them the problem with workshops is
1:33:43 that they are what the workshop Creator
1:33:46 thinks you should learn in what order
1:33:49 they think you should learn it
1:33:51 in most times that's probably fine but
1:33:54 maybe you kind of underestimated how
1:33:57 much you knew and you realize in the
1:34:00 first 15 minutes that this is way too
1:34:03 basic for you or conversely you realize
1:34:07 in the first 15 minutes oh my God this
1:34:09 is way over my head this is not at all
1:34:11 what I thought it was I wanted digital
1:34:13 marketing and this is um media buying
1:34:17 and
1:34:18 right um can you ask it
1:34:23 to make a drawing of a late 60s era
1:34:26 muscle car oh I'll do you one
1:34:32 better the late 60s aerom muscle
1:34:36 car I want you to act as a master
1:34:40 illustrator for
1:34:44 automotive magazines and I want you to
1:34:48 create an award-winning
1:34:50 illustration of a
1:34:53 1960 69
1:34:56 60 a
1:35:00 1969 GTO Judge in classic
1:35:04 orange
1:35:08 period it should be near the boardwalk
1:35:11 with the beach in the distance at
1:35:18 Sunset now he's done it
1:35:26 ah what was I talking about before I
1:35:28 don't [ __ ] know the goat this is the
1:35:34 goat this is the
1:35:37 car this is what I want a Resto mod of a
1:35:40 69 GTO Judge there you go
1:35:43 boom look at that [ __ ] that is
1:35:45 [ __ ]
1:35:47 gorgeous so now we'll
1:35:49 go you know what on second thought I
1:35:52 want it to be photographic and cinematic
1:35:55 as if it were a still from a film that
1:35:59 won an Academy Award for
1:36:04 [Music]
1:36:07 cinematography that's gorgeous that's
1:36:09 just gorgeous I like it I like it I like
1:36:13 it do you have custom instructions for
1:36:16 your chat
1:36:19 GPT um I do not right now but I'll
1:36:23 explain what they are Nature's Blessing
1:36:26 Nature's Blessing it's it's you sound
1:36:29 like a granola
1:36:31 brand or or a
1:36:39 laxative is is he always this
1:36:42 belligerent oh
1:36:44 yeah that's pretty
1:36:46 cool that's sexy it's sexy it's so sexy
1:36:51 m
1:36:53 C that's so sexy that's so
1:36:55 sexy
1:36:57 um I'm going to
1:37:02 go that's two headon I'd like it more
1:37:06 3/4s so I can see the lines down the
1:37:10 sides better
1:37:18 period there should be a man walking a
1:37:20 llama C casually in the
1:37:23 distance don't draw too much attention
1:37:26 to
1:37:28 [Laughter]
1:37:33 it yes this is the point at which Kyle
1:37:36 got a little Punchy and is just
1:37:38 entertaining himself that's exactly
1:37:41 what's happening here all right let's go
1:37:42 look at some showand tell have you guys
1:37:44 been showand telling please tell me
1:37:46 you've been show and
1:37:47 telling all
1:37:50 right a human being being bless your
1:37:53 Vibes
1:37:54 nice photo of myself is referenced and I
1:37:57 thought and it thought I was in my 20s
1:38:00 and 80 pounds
1:38:02 lighter it
1:38:04 happens I wrote a crochet pattern to
1:38:07 make a shirt that's
1:38:10 cool chat GPT prompt create an image
1:38:13 representation of what a final crochet
1:38:15 t-shirt might look like applied
1:38:19 Futures that's super cool oh that's nice
1:38:22 what is that Jeff Flanigan that's that's
1:38:26 super
1:38:28 groovy Vivid very nice very nice if
1:38:34 you're wondering where we're sharing
1:38:35 these we're sharing them over in the
1:38:37 show and tell oh looks like I might have
1:38:40 gotten tagged here Kyle are you giving
1:38:43 out some awards December 5th the group
1:38:46 has made some amazing art and some folks
1:38:49 post many of them just a thought it's
1:38:51 good idea it's a good
1:38:54 idea um I haven't I haven't really
1:38:56 thought about the uh I mean I've thought
1:39:00 about what we're doing um but it's it's
1:39:02 mostly just just people that have spoken
1:39:05 and people that have been there a lot
1:39:06 and contributed a lot um sharing some
1:39:09 things we're also going to officially
1:39:11 launch uh this
1:39:13 site um but yeah I think I think doing
1:39:16 some sort of some sort of uh
1:39:19 acknowledgement like that's a really
1:39:21 good idea so thank you for that that's
1:39:23 that is a fantastic idea I like it I
1:39:26 like it it's solid it's solid it's
1:39:28 really good all right um let's see wait

1:40:15 so I sure as heck
1:40:18 can no yes yes
1:40:22 oh that's cool you can make you can make
1:40:24 an image the background of the post
1:40:26 that's pretty slick
1:40:29 um
1:40:31 69 GTO
1:40:35 judge um with
1:40:41 llama and I'm going to hashtag it I'm
1:40:44 going to hashtag it
1:40:46 Irregulars and images and I'm going to
1:40:49 post it Bang
1:40:52 no I don't want to notify all members
1:40:55 that would be
1:40:57 obnoxious but Kyle you are obnoxious
1:40:59 shut
1:41:03 [Laughter]
1:41:16 up wait a minute how did that llama get
1:41:20 in there exactly exactly I I didn't ask
1:41:23 for no stinking
1:41:25 [Laughter]
1:41:31 llama that is very cool oh there's some
1:41:33 new intros awesome yeah go check out the
1:41:37 go check out the
1:41:38 guilds and awesome I've been visiting
1:41:41 the Tik Tock when night's
1:41:44 allow I've spoken at the AI Salon I'm a
1:41:48 futurist I like to make things I I live
1:41:51 in a mountains in Northern New Mexico I
1:41:54 know who you are applied
1:41:59 [Music]
1:42:02 Futures where are we there's show tell
1:42:06 okay dude you're way too old to be
1:42:09 getting into this stuff into what stuff
1:42:11 Tik
1:42:15 Tock is
1:42:17 AI a trap for human specifically for the
1:42:20 student students
1:42:22 beginners and students or start of
1:42:25 programming is AI a
1:42:28 trap for human
1:42:33 specialty oh for human especially for
1:42:36 the students beginners is it a trap I
1:42:39 don't know what that means is it a
1:42:43 trap
1:42:50 is is maku mercial a thing this day oh
1:42:54 maku mercial sure that guy you know just
1:42:58 out for a walk with this llama on the
1:43:00 [Laughter]
1:43:14 boardwalks there you go
1:43:17 people you
1:43:19 too put your favorite card choice in
1:43:21 there and uh stick a llama in the
1:43:26 background all right let's see here Pap
1:43:30 let's see what's
1:43:35 happening that's just weird too old what
1:43:38 is too old that's a movie a man his
1:43:40 llama and his
1:43:47 GTO a man his llama and the Goat that's
1:43:51 what you'd call
1:43:52 it and people would think the goat is an
1:43:55 animal but no the goat is the
1:44:01 car I'm telling you man having a having
1:44:04 a Resto mod of a 69 judge the problem
1:44:07 with an original 69 judge is they're
1:44:10 just too they're worth too much so I
1:44:12 would do a faker 69 GTO Judge with you
1:44:17 know modern
1:44:19 components and I would just burn the
1:44:22 tires off the [ __ ]
1:44:26 thing just ask if AI a trap
1:44:31 for you did ask if AI is a trap I don't
1:44:34 know what you mean by
1:44:36 it is is Lama Bin
1:44:39 Laden um what do you think of flux AI I
1:44:42 don't know it Be not Afraid at the end
1:44:45 of the day Tik Tock live daily ask Kyle
1:44:48 to invite 30 seconds
1:44:52 to talk live per person that's not a bad
1:44:57 idea
1:44:59 yeah that was a great meeting with the
1:45:02 futurist lady yep Cindy [ __ ] uh is
1:45:05 awesome she's incredible we're working
1:45:07 on some projects together and uh yeah
1:45:12 you should check her
1:45:13 out she's good one she's
1:45:19 keeper at a 911 Cabriolet very
1:45:24 cool if there's a llon vve shouldn't it
1:45:27 be
1:45:29 [Laughter]
1:45:32 lons
1:45:36 uh my voice is getting off I sound like
1:45:38 Bill Clinton all of a
1:45:46 sudden some lovely
1:45:49 cider ah yes yes
1:45:52 yes good day to you sir good day
1:45:56 fantastic Bob tell him what he's
1:45:59 won I'm still on hi hey Cindy what's
1:46:04 shaking what are you doing with your
1:46:06 life you can't you can't be on Tik Tok
1:46:09 this long I've got an
1:46:14 excuse wow what a voice what a voice
1:46:17 thank you thank you I'm thinking
1:46:22 I was never mind I was going to make an
1:46:25 ASMR joke but I just made an ass of you
1:46:29 and
1:46:36 [Music]
1:46:43 me all
1:46:46 right you know I think I think I'm going
1:46:50 to get my ass out of
1:46:52 here
1:46:54 um the brain shut
1:46:59 down I uh I uh see it just there's
1:47:05 nothing it's just like it's just [ __ ]
1:47:07 Flatline I think I did too many demos I
1:47:10 did I went I went too it's so funny like
1:47:13 when I do those Deep dive demos there's
1:47:15 something really cool about them but
1:47:16 like they it takes a lot of Creative
1:47:19 Juice to
1:47:21 to context shift like that like I think
1:47:24 this is I actually do think this is a
1:47:26 new skill I think this is going to
1:47:29 be I think people are going to get way
1:47:31 smarter as a result of this
1:47:35 um but it's going to be exhausting it's
1:47:40 like part of the reason AI is exhausting
1:47:43 right now is that it's
1:47:45 um everything's changing so fast but the
1:47:49 other thing is we've never had tools
1:47:52 like this we've we've never had tools
1:47:54 that instantly deliver you what you're
1:48:02 imagining and we're not we're not used
1:48:04 to it I did a I did a job someone hired
1:48:07 me and a and my buddy Kenny fredman
1:48:10 who's a really good creative director if
1:48:12 you're looking for a creative
1:48:15 director and he and I he and I did an
1:48:18 experiment with her where we said we
1:48:20 said let's see how
1:48:22 quickly we can turn
1:48:25 around um a creative
1:48:30 marketing
1:48:32 campaign and so we met with her on a
1:48:34 Friday
1:48:35 night at like 5:30 my
1:48:40 time I think we were on the phone for an
1:48:44 hour and 15
1:48:46 minutes then he and I got on the phone
1:48:49 Saturday morning for 2 2
1:48:51 hours and then we each spent like
1:48:54 another 3
1:48:55 hours individually using
1:48:59 chbt we took Sunday off so so we've now
1:49:02 got
1:49:03 in an hour well times two so we 2
1:49:08 hours+ 4 is 6
1:49:12 plus 6 is 12 we took Sunday
1:49:19 off we presented to her Monday morning
1:49:23 four
1:49:26 fully realized
1:49:30 Concepts like with
1:49:32 visuals headlines she picked one of the
1:49:35 four
1:49:36 Concepts he and I spent another two
1:49:39 hours each maybe 3 hours each so 18
1:49:43 hours
1:49:44 total and we delivered her the final
1:49:48 executed campaign Tuesday morning or
1:49:51 Tuesday afternoon but we didn't do
1:49:53 anything Tuesday day so 18 hours
1:49:57 total and and it was work that would
1:49:59 have taken anywhere from two weeks to to
1:50:02 a
1:50:02 month and what we
1:50:06 learned is
1:50:10 that the work was fine but she wasn't
1:50:14 ready for
1:50:16 it like we had just talked on Friday and
1:50:18 we're delivering final product on
1:50:21 on Tuesday with like here's what you
1:50:22 should do get your marketing person to
1:50:24 go do this go do this go do this so I I
1:50:28 think that just as humans we've we've
1:50:31 got a
1:50:32 Cadence that's been ingrained for as
1:50:35 long as we've been alive for how long
1:50:37 [ __ ]
1:50:39 takes and all of a sudden you've got a
1:50:41 tool where you're blasting out way more
1:50:44 than that way
1:50:47 faster and so I think for the people
1:50:50 that you're working with it's going to
1:50:51 be an adjustment and I think for you
1:50:53 doing the work it's going to be an
1:50:54 adjustment I think it will ultimately
1:50:56 make us all really smarter but it makes
1:50:59 it makes the head
1:51:00 hurt it makes my head hurt we've been
1:51:03 programmed to waste s hours of of eight
1:51:06 at work we
1:51:08 have we
1:51:11 have and we feel guilty about it and
1:51:13 people have come to expect that they get
1:51:15 about an hour's worth of work out of a
1:51:17 person well now that hour can deliver 8
1:51:21 hours worth of
1:51:23 work so there you go productivity just
1:51:25 went up people still keep their jobs
1:51:28 productivity goes
1:51:30 up who is it uh Bill Gates just said he
1:51:34 thinks we should move to a three
1:51:35 three-day work week that that AI may
1:51:39 lead to us shifting to a 3-day work week
1:51:42 that's
1:51:46 why it's America I don't think it's
1:51:48 going to happen but I write AI chat
1:51:50 companions across different websites
1:51:53 very
1:51:54 cool very cool
1:51:59 [Music]
1:52:07 fantastic Monier kjo ask if AI is a trap
1:52:11 for humans specifically you've you've
1:52:14 okay moner you've asked this now three
1:52:16 times or 10 times um I don't know what
1:52:20 the question means what do you mean a
1:52:21 trap a trap for what that's Parkinson's
1:52:25 law what's Parkinson's law the three
1:52:27 three-day work week thing or the fact
1:52:28 that we're in America and we'll never go
1:52:30 to three days because
1:52:32 [Laughter]
1:52:37 America
1:52:39 Pate moner that's not a coherent
1:52:41 question so I doubt it it will respond
1:52:44 very well thank you
1:52:47 Pate I don't know what he's asking he
1:52:49 keeps asking it he's clearly passionate
1:52:51 about the question I just don't know
1:52:53 what the question
1:52:54 means we've been programed okay we did
1:52:57 that one
1:52:58 exactly I never work I'll never work 9
1:53:01 to5 again no and you won't need
1:53:07 to it won't happen in the US oh it's
1:53:10 going to happen in the US just that the
1:53:13 the management
1:53:14 class will demand that it not be done
1:53:18 that way and then the workers will go
1:53:19 great Fant
1:53:21 fantastic I like that I'm only working
1:53:23 one hour a day Kyle told me you're
1:53:26 welcome to invoke my name listen there's
1:53:29 this guy on Tik Tock he's on here every
1:53:31 night and he talks about AI he's like a
1:53:33 real um expert at Ai and he said I could
1:53:37 just work like an hour a day but I could
1:53:40 and I'll make the stuff for like eight
1:53:42 hours a day so I was thinking I'll do
1:53:44 like you know not before lunch cuz I
1:53:47 might be tired but like maybe after if
1:53:50 if I so long as I don't have like if I
1:53:53 don't have a like sometimes I'll have
1:53:55 grilled cheese and tomato soup and it's
1:53:58 I get sleepy after I like it so it's so
1:54:00 good do you like the grilled cheese and
1:54:03 tomato soup and I like it good and but
1:54:06 sometimes I get tired so I think if I
1:54:08 started work at if I took a nap it' be
1:54:12 like 3:30 so if I started work at 3:30
1:54:15 and then I could work till like 4:30 and
1:54:17 then sometimes like if there's extra
1:54:21 stuff I could maybe work till 5 if you
1:54:24 paid me extra um that cuz but so his
1:54:28 name's Kyle and he said it was good to
1:54:32 you could do that so I'm going to it it
1:54:36 that's what that's how I'm going to do
1:54:38 my work okay do that work is that is
1:54:42 that
1:54:43 okay that's how I do it I'm happy and I
1:54:48 I will happily coach you just like that
1:54:51 I can teach you to do
1:54:56 that that man in Tik Tock said I could
1:54:59 leave
1:55:03 now see you boss where are you going the
1:55:07 guy in Tik Tok said this is good I'm
1:55:09 good I because I I did it in the chat
1:55:11 GPT I did I did it in the chat it's all
1:55:14 done what do you mean it's done holy
1:55:16 [ __ ] we broke him guys he really has
1:55:21 [ __ ] weirdos we're not weird we're
1:55:24 irregular okay Kyle get it right it's
1:55:28 the gravy that will put you sleep in the
1:55:33 afternoon all right [ __ ] it I'm leaving
1:55:35 I'm out of
1:55:37 here you guys are the best this is
1:55:40 fantastic all right let's say goodbye uh
1:55:44 Karen the truth good to see you Source
1:55:46 Camp bye Drew hey Kyle what you cover
1:55:50 tonight I did
1:55:53 um what did I do oh I started a company
1:55:56 I started an organizing company called
1:55:58 clutter Busters
1:56:01 Amalgamated um and it was fun but it it
1:56:05 fried my brain because I was I did so
1:56:08 what I did was I did it to demonstrate
1:56:10 context switching and then I did so much
1:56:12 context switching it hurt my head so now
1:56:15 the brain is mush it's mush awesome
1:56:17 night thank you thank you very much I
1:56:19 appreciate that Nancy good to see you

1:57:37 demerit she always gets a demerit her
1:57:40 demerit Book is
1:57:41 Full Cosmic lover could you copy and
1:57:44 paste the Clutter Busters
1:57:46 chat uh no because it's got images in it
1:57:52 unfortunately could I turn it into
1:57:57 a oh could I copy and paste the chat
1:58:01 oh yeah I could probably do that as a as
1:58:05 an article hang on that might that might
1:58:08 be a way to do that I don't know if
1:58:09 it'll copy the
1:58:15 um this one's just this one hang on
1:58:22 crochet pattern starting a solopreneur
1:58:25 business that's the
1:58:27 one all right let's see if it copies the
1:58:30 images it would be nice if it did but I
1:58:34 doubt it and this is probably going to
1:58:36 be way too long for an article but let's
1:58:47 try copy go on over to that there show
1:58:53 and tell in
1:58:56 the in the salon hang on hang on here
1:58:59 people let me see if we can do this I'm
1:59:02 guessing not
1:59:04 but expand to an
1:59:08 article
1:59:17 paste well it replaced all the images
1:59:20 with images of
1:59:22 me oh no there they
1:59:27 are all right so let's say so this is
1:59:33 the wow this is a long article okay so
1:59:37 this is
1:59:38 the that's a good idea whoever had that
1:59:41 idea clutter
1:59:43 Busters
1:59:46 Amalgamated
1:59:48 chat and then I'm going to I'm going to
1:59:49 add a hashtag oops something went wrong
1:59:53 uh I think it's too
1:59:57 long something went wrong try again let
2:00:00 me just try to post it
2:00:03 post don't
2:00:06 notify oh your article went
2:00:12 live oh there you go oh that's
2:00:16 unfortunate oh God no we got to fix
2:00:23 this how do I how do
2:00:26 I that's so bad that's so bad can I get
2:00:31 rid of
2:00:34 these oh well well I guess I'll just
2:00:36 live with it if anyone can figure out
2:00:39 how to unfuck that up that's just that's
2:00:42 just
2:00:43 sad there's all these beautiful images
2:00:46 and then there's
2:00:48 that
2:00:52 oh man all right y'all are awesome peace
