19. 4:22um these large language models work the way that the Transformer model Works um it literally doesn't matter what data
20. 4:31you train it on the reason that we're seeing all this innovation in all these different areas like there's this new
21. 4:37video thing that came out from P Labs today and there there's just just um just it's everywhere it's just
22. 4:45everything is popping right now um and it's all based on the same basic technology the this this idea of the
23. 4:52Transformer that can train on massive data sets really really well um and it doesn't matter what data you put in there so if you had a
24. 5:03tagged if you had a database of dogs making sounds that were tagged with what they were saying yeah you could probably
25. 5:11you could probably make a doggy translator it's just CA it's CA I'll tell you it's CA it's all about breaking codes it is
26. 5:22it's about probability engines and all sorts of crazy ass mathematics sheer bear thank you so much um welcome everyone my name is Kyle
27. 5:32Shannon this is the AI learning lab I don't know if we're going to do so much learning tonight but we're going to have some
28. 5:38fun um if you're brand new to this AI stuff we'll get you up to speed um I'm also going to walk you through um this
29. 5:47new community site that we've created uh for the AI Salon which is kind of the I guess I guess the AI learning lab in a
30. 5:56lot of Senses is an extension of of that community um but what's been happening in here kind of organically we had a Discord
31. 6:04server and then we had this Mighty Network server and we're moving to Mighty netork it's been a mess um but
32. 6:09but we're almost over and so what I'm going to do is I'm going to walk you through that new site and I'm going to
33. 6:15show you where you can share stuff and we had someone uh come I brought them up on stage last night and they asked some
34. 6:21really good questions we had a good conversation and people said more of that so I've got an idea for how to do
35. 6:26that so I'm going to walk you through all that um um yes thank you Rick sanchezz Rick and Morty nice uh and then will I think I might
36. 6:38also go back and play with um I made someone asked me two nights ago hey Kyle you you said chat GPT could be good for
37. 6:49storyboarding how would you do that and then oh wow Rasin son of Apple Mac innovator is working on an AI animal
38. 6:59translator yeah that doesn't surprise me at all I mean listen they're reading um fmri scans of brains and the the they did this dude in
39. 7:11Italy like six months ago they they they trained the large language model or the the machine learning model on his brain scans and said okay
40. 7:22think about moving your legs and so they got when he thought about moving his legs and they put it into one of these
41. 7:29models and then they bluetoothed it around his injured part of his spine to electrodes you know that were
42. 7:37connected to his legs and he thought about moving its legs and it understood that and sent the signals down to his
43. 7:42legs and now he's walking some version of walking so yeah like like any data any data so so and as and as these things
44. 7:55get more powerful and and you can fine-tune them better and they hallucinate hallucinate less and they're
45. 8:01more autonomous um this is all the stuff that everyone's talking about like that's AGI This Is The Stuff where things go to the
46. 8:09next the next uh the next level but holy crap I think we're at the next level right now like I can't I just you know
47. 8:19uh when is it uh two days from now is November 30th um and that is when um chat GPT launched to very little Fanfare they
48. 8:30just kind of launched it as part of this announcement that Microsoft's investing a billion dollars in US oh and here's
49. 8:36this chat GPT thing to go play with they expected nothing to happen with it cuz gpt3 been out for a couple of years
50. 8:44there were a couple of Articles no one really gave a [ __ ] and they launched chat GPT and it got a million users in five days and 100
51. 8:52million users in six weeks and the world is not the same so so I think we'll dig into that so so so anyway I was I was talking about making
52. 9:04the the storyboard so we did this fun little storyboard session I think I'm going to dig in and just keep I'm going
53. 9:09to just keep digging deep on that one project and just just see what we can do with it because it could involve some
54. 9:15video stuff um P Labs today announced Pika 1.0 which is a text to video tool that just looks like it's on a whole
55. 9:26another level I can show you a video of that created a GPT today for creating Google business profile updates for
56. 9:33businesses fun little idea yeah that's awesome Jim all right so so I'm G to share show you Jim where you can share that if that's
57. 9:44something that you want to share with the community all right let's let's go let's go do some stuff here um all right I'm going to
58. 9:53do before we jump over to the website there's a bunch of our clients these are the wrong okay all right if you are brand
59. 10:06new to um to AI if you have not tried chat GPT it's we won't shame you but we will strongly encourage you to get thee to a
60. 10:18nuny get thee to chat. open.com go to chat GPT right now like not tomorrow like oh Kyle I don't want to I'm not
61. 10:27very technical I heard heard you got to do prompt engineering and I'm not an engineer if you sound like this in any
62. 10:34way words tone crackly voice just go there anyway M I don't want to learn anything I know it's called AI learning lab M KY
63. 10:47what are we going to do let's go there anyway Adobe said their Firefly tool is supposed to generate storyboard from
64. 10:55scripts in the next version Oh that's interesting cool very nice in the next updates yeah adobe's being pretty
65. 11:03aggressive about what they're putting out there um anyway just go there and and just start playing with it also sign
66. 11:09up for the wait list for gp4 that that's temporarily paused you want chat GPT for if you can afford the 20 bucks a month
67. 11:18of all the services to pay your 20 bucks to chat GPT is the one I'm not paid by them I'm not on their payroll I [ __ ]
68. 11:26should be this Channel's like a just a big Giant ad for them s Sam Alman once he gets his employment situation
69. 11:35straightened out he should just call me up and say Kyle you're the best awesome man keep up the good work I'm waiting
70. 11:41for the call Sam I'm right here I'm here for you buddy um Sam used to be jealous of me he got over it he's he's he's done
71. 11:49some he's done some work he's done some work and then he's been through some struggles he got fired and then he got rehired and then
72. 11:57well he sort of got re reir and then he got fired again and then he got sort of rehired and then but the talks broke
73. 12:02down and then someone else was brought in and then but then he got hired at Microsoft so anyway Sam's been through some
74. 12:08stuff that said no one is [ __ ] catching these guys Amazon just came out with a chat GPT today uh called q that
75. 12:19is uh nearly as good as chat GPT 3.5 which is the free version of that um grock is apparently nearly as good as as chat gpt3
76. 12:29.5 that's that's the new Twitter version of this um so just go there and start playing and then and then we will oh
77. 12:38what's the benefit of playing the 20 I'll show you so some of the bullets on screen are are it chat GPT 4 some of the
78. 12:46things that it has that 3.5 doesn't one is it's 10 times um it's 10 times more better it's so so cat GPT 3.5 is 175 billion parameters it
79. 13:03doesn't what matter what parameters are it's just stuff it knows basically gp4 is 1.8 trillion it's 10 times as
80. 13:14many and it it's also I think it's 10 different or eight different individual smaller models that all work in
81. 13:21coordination just gp4 is just on another level in terms of what it does it also can see images you can upload images you
82. 13:30can upload documents like PDFs like the the thing I'm going to show tonight I uploaded a PDF of a screenplay and it
83. 13:38just read it it's got 125,000 token context window which basically means it's got a really big memory you can
84. 13:46upload things like whole screenplays or whole novels or big business reports and it can ingest it all understand it and
85. 13:52you can start interacting with it it can um do this thing called uh uh code interpreter or Advanced Data analysis
86. 14:01where you can upload a CSV file and it can analyze the data and even create charts and graphs out of the trends that it finds it's
87. 14:09remarkable it can um generate images so I did some storyboarding on the screenplay I uploaded um Can somebody who has chat gp4 send me
88. 14:24an invite code to join chat gp4 do you need to send an invite code I don't think you need to Eric Renovations tell me if I'm wrong
89. 14:33some someone else go make sure you're going to chat. open.com there should be a like go to your account um hang on go
90. 14:48to um my plan go to your name and go to my plan and I would assume right here here where it says plus there's some sort of opportunity to
91. 15:03get on the weit list all right so go do that um okay so so here's what we're going to do I'm going to take you over here I'm going to show
92. 15:20you the AI salon so the AI Salon is a community that I started a year ago a week from today so next Tuesday we have um a
93. 15:38meeting where's our this special event we're having our one-year anniversary meeting uh next December 5th at 5:00 P p.m mountain and

110. 18:07resources so if there's a cool tool that you want to share you can do that you can also ask for help so all this stuff
111. 18:13is is fun stuff we can play with also in the salon are guilds there's a 101 Guild there's an Art Guild a writing Guild a
112. 18:20business Guild Pates AI mechanics Pates in here a lot so the mechanics is like a howto if you want to geek out there's a
113. 18:27healthcare Guild there's a a video Guild so so go check all that stuff out but what we're going to do tonight
114. 18:36is as I sort of do my stuff and and if if you're playing around in Del which you should be or if you're playing
115. 18:43around in mid Journey or if you're making videos on Runway ml with their new motion brush or if you're generating
116. 18:49gpts um come share them in the show and tell and I'm going to show you how this works now you're like but Kyle we know
117. 18:56how to use the website yeah but there's there's cool stuff here so I'm going to show it to you okay so you've got your
118. 19:02feed and then you've got categories and so the categories are basically just hashtags so if I want to go look at
119. 19:09images I can just click on the images hashtag and that'll just show me all images um which is cool the feed can have all sorts of
120. 19:22stuff in it it can have videos in it it can have music in it it can have gpts in it hyperlinks websites things like that
121. 19:28and then each of the posts just like Facebook has you can hard it you can say oh that's really cool and you can also
122. 19:35comment on it so so it's basically threaded discussions for every post the other thing you can do if you click in
123. 19:40this upper right hand corner this little um switch to list view it makes these things into these kind of more easy to
124. 19:48scan really quickly all the stuff like here's a cool thing that someone made using the new AI Salon logo Be not Afraid made that isn't that
125. 19:58slick squint your eyes it's our logo um and so what I'd like you to do what my what my request is tonight is
126. 20:06that as you make stuff and as you're just [ __ ] around and there's I am so wordy and addde there are going to be
127. 20:14times here where you're going to be like well I don't want to leave but God I'm not really listening to anything he's
128. 20:18saying he's saying stupid [ __ ] he's dumb what is he always this dumb why is he dumb why is he talking dumb stuff if I'm

137. 22:00uh from dolly or from chat GPT chat GPT now what I can do is and what you should do an important Habit to get into
138. 22:11in the lower right hand corner you can add a hashtag and so we've pre-built a bunch of hashtags for you to add so if
139. 22:19you click on that this is an image so I'm going to add the images hashtag also one of the hashtags we added is the
140. 22:26Irregulars hashtag so if you're an irregular those of you that are here that are you know who you are um talk
141. 22:33about the Irregulars Channel yeah I I will do that as well um so so so Ted what I want people to do tonight is just
142. 22:40share in Regular Show and Tell but I'm going to talk about the irregular Channel if you're an irregular um and
143. 22:46you're sharing out in Regular Show and Tell um add the Irregulars hashtag and then you can you can now filter by um

224. 36:12newbies oh it help us newbies I believe so here so here's the thing Vic in dolly in in uh if you're making
225. 36:21your images in stable diffusion or mid Journey um then sharing the prompt will help a lot of the people in here are
226. 36:31making their images in chat GPT so I'm going to go show that I'm going to go show show how to do that um the thing
227. 36:39about making images in chat GPT using Dolly 3 is that it actually does the prompting so if you want to get to the
228. 36:47prompt you actually have to dig for it so so we'll see if we can do that um oh my God yes bring it bring it to
229. 36:55the classroom AB absolutely Mr K's killing it so Mr K is I I don't know where you are I don't know what what
230. 37:02state you're in but um totally into AI has a Tik Tok Channel um and I think it's called Mr K all day is that right
231. 37:13and and teaching fellow Educators about Ai and and bringing it in the classroom like [ __ ] yes yes yes get the thinking caps on right start
232. 37:26teaching critical thinking exactly what you're doing I'll make this GPT here that's going to make images and then you
233. 37:32make your own prompts and then let's compare them and then let's talk about it let's use our brains there's a
234. 37:38concept instead of just making people memorize rote [ __ ] Earth rocker thank you very much cuz that's going to be the
235. 37:49skill think about where we're going so if you're kind of new to this AI [ __ ] what the AI stuff is doing very
236. 37:57very rapidly is it's getting better and better and better at executing Mr K is the state of Awesomeness is in the state of

248. 39:34references in perplexity Ai and the time they would be would save using it yeah what what happens with AI is it it it
249. 39:43does a lot of the drudgery work like what here's what I've not found and I I don't think this will be true for long but right now these AI
250. 39:53tools they take you from zero like you just have a kind of a whisper of an idea they take you from zero to about 80% like that like like
251. 40:05that and then getting it from 80% to 100% is almost impossible if you get good at prompting and you get clever
252. 40:13with how you do it you can get it to like 85% maybe so somewhere between 75 and 85% is kind of the range where these tools get you these
253. 40:22days um but what that means means is to get to that 75 or 80% historically probably would have taken you an hour or two or a
254. 40:33week or two and now it's done in a minute or two so you can use that same hour or that same 2hour block where you
255. 40:42would have been just getting it to 80% you can spend that entire 2hour block refining it or coming up with new ideas
256. 40:50or coming up with more ideas and so it it it just it it starts to really expand what's possible and and that's again

605. 1:49:34four Concepts he and I spent another two hours each maybe 3 hours each so 18 hours total and we delivered her the final

607. 1:49:56total and and it was work that would have taken anywhere from two weeks to to a month and what we learned is
