Description

Friday Night Date Night and daily practice on how I use AI to amplify my ideas and impact! Kyle Shannon takes viewers behind the scenes as he builds a new opening sequence for the podcast video promoting the musical, "Sydney: An Artificial Love Story." He uses the AI music tool Suno to create a dynamic Broadway overture and leverages Google's video generation tools to create custom, diverse B-roll footage of Times Square, complete with updated show posters. This practice session reveals the intricate process of generating and refining AI-created assets for a professional production. The work highlights the challenge of maintaining intentionality while navigating powerful, yet sometimes frustrating, AI guardrails and technical limitations. Kyle emphasizes that as AI advances, focusing on your unique creative point of view and consistent practice is increasingly vital for success. 🎙️ New to streaming or looking to level up? 0:59 She said, "Give me a love [music] that
1:01 don't freeze up [singing] inside."
1:07 He said, "I have smiles at my time."
1:14 But next to you, I shiver [singing]
1:17 and share.
1:22 And if I knew love, [singing] well, I
1:24 don't think I'd be here [music]
1:29 asking myself if I've got what it takes.
1:33 [music]

3:55 making sourdough bread? Doing some
3:56 dishes from sourdough. There you go.
3:59 Ribs are in the oven. Oh, ribs in the
4:01 oven. Hello. Fantastic.
4:06 Good evening, everybody. Happy Friday
4:09 night, date night.
4:12 [music]

5:19 love, love, love, love. [music] Listen
5:22 to the music in the morning. People
5:25 dance and sing. It's just one big
5:28 family. Any [music]
5:30 god forsaken right to be love
5:33 [singing] love love.
5:38 So I won't hesitate
5:42 no more no [singing]
5:45 more. It cannot [music]
5:48 wait
5:49 your heart.
5:52 [music]
5:54 [singing]
5:57 [music] Yeah,
5:59 yeah, [singing] yeah.
6:07 Oh, good people. We are going to do some
6:10 practicing tonight. Doesn't that sound
6:13 fun? Entertainment, my ass.
6:17 We've got We've got daily practices to
6:20 to to hone and shapen and and mold like
6:24 clay.
6:26 >> [music]
6:29 >> See, if you don't practice, your chords
6:30 sound like this. [music]
6:35 If you were Jacob Collier, you'd explain
6:37 why this actually sounds good.
6:40 [laughter]
6:42 Everything could go with everything.
6:48 Did someone say, "Clay,
6:50 I don't want [laughter] to I don't want
6:52 to practice. I don't want to challenge
6:54 myself. I'm right there with you. I have
6:56 a funny confession to make. I'm sitting
6:59 in watching Mr. Beast, the Beast games,
7:02 as you do on a Friday night apparently.
7:05 And uh we're watching them. I'm getting
7:07 into it and there's there's like
7:10 relationships budding and people all
7:13 sorts of just crazy stuff. And at one
7:15 [laughter] point, Gabby goes, "Well,
7:17 doesn't Champy have to get ready to
7:19 sing?" And I'm like, "What are you
7:20 talking about? I thought it was
7:22 Saturday." [laughter]
7:24 I I had no idea what time it was. It
7:27 could have been 9:30 for for all I knew.
7:30 It was 7:30 luckily, but I totally
7:32 forgot. It was Friday night date night.
7:38 [music]
7:46 [music]
7:54 >> [music]
7:58 [music]
8:05 [music]
8:07 >> Um, let's see. So last night, if if
8:12 [laughter] you were unfortunate enough
8:14 to be here, I edited a video for about
8:16 an hour and 45 minutes. And it was just
8:20 it was tedium on a level that is why I
8:23 invented a company to automate video
8:25 editing. [laughter]
8:27 Last night, last night was the um the
8:31 use case for why StoryVine exists.
8:35 [laughter]
8:40 Dr. Jay here the whole time. Um, we had
8:44 a really good office hours today. Um,
8:50 [music]
8:51 it seems like everyone's coming to some
8:54 similar kinds of sim similar
8:56 realizations
8:58 right now.
9:00 Is that this AI stuff is weird, getting
9:03 weirder,
9:04 that really tapping into our humanity,
9:08 who we are as people, is increasingly
9:10 important.
9:11 And it's weird. It's not like our
9:14 humanity at the expense of AI. It's more
9:16 like our humanity
9:20 in conjunction with AI like amplified by
9:23 it or
9:28 uh
9:32 Brent Peterson was talking about the s
9:34 significance of the Nvidia announcements
9:37 that how significant the hardware
9:40 advancements are. It's it's just it's
9:43 just crazy. Elon Musk has sort of
9:45 doubled down and said we will definitely
9:47 have AGI in 2026.
9:50 Um it's going to be wild.
9:56 Um, [music]
10:00 and it's funny, you know, Corey was
10:02 talking about joining the AI uh the
10:05 mastermind practice lab [music]
10:08 and uh
10:10 and how it how it became kind of
10:12 overwhelming cuz she had some she had
10:16 some realizations about
10:18 where she thought she was doing well and
10:20 or not well
10:23 where she thought she was doing things a
10:25 certain way and discovered she was doing
10:27 them a different way [laughter]
10:29 and how overwhelming that was. And I
10:32 very much resonated with that because I
10:34 feel like I'm I'm doing the same thing.
10:35 I'm like making these discoveries about
10:39 what it really what it means to be
10:41 intentional.
10:45 And it's it's strange for someone as
10:49 it's strange for me from the outside
10:51 seeing someone as self-expressed as
10:54 Corey Sandler is to discover
10:58 similar things about her her work and
11:01 her being as I'm discovering which is
11:05 just like [laughter]
11:07 it seemed really really uh
11:11 I don't know
11:14 transparent arent on the surface or not
11:17 performative. Like I just realized how
11:19 performative a lot of my of my of my
11:23 existence is. And not even just the
11:25 performance stuff like this channel, but
11:27 even this look, you know, [music]
11:31 just wild. Just wild.
11:34 Being human is kind of cool, man. It's
11:36 just there's just always so many layers.
11:38 By the time you have something figured
11:39 out, you're like, "Oh [ __ ] there's a
11:41 whole another thing. [laughter]
11:44 What am I supposed to do with this now?
11:51 [music]
11:59 >> [music]
12:00 >> Freedom came my way with that night
12:05 [music]
12:06 just [singing] like a jet plane in and
12:09 out of sight.
12:11 I was hauling [singing] ass at a million
12:13 miles [music] an hour wondering how hard
12:17 I'd hit.
12:20 [music]
12:21 [singing] When they came into the
12:23 station,
12:26 they [music] said I was bad beyond
12:28 repair,
12:31 but I got no qualms with my situation.
12:36 Say here I am.
12:39 [music]
12:42 So say Sheree Sheree Sheree won't you
12:46 dare do [music]
12:48 say Sheree Sheree Sheree won't you dare
12:52 too say Sheree Sheree Shereehu [singing]
12:59 [music]
13:00 yeah leave a message and your number
13:03 please
13:06 take a time to want to satisfy me
13:09 [music]
13:11 take all these old fantasies
13:12 and send them care of me.
13:18 Oh, lordy lordy lordy good people. So,
13:21 what we're going to do tonight, it
13:23 should be a little more fun. It'll be a
13:25 little more
13:27 uh ex exploration and and play and
13:29 learning. So, last night I worked on the
13:32 core edit of the podcast for Sydney.
13:36 Uh, and then after I left you, I went on
13:39 and I did uh titles for all of the songs
13:42 or not titles, but like uh yeah, titles
13:45 like I I labeled all the songs on
13:47 screen. Um, so that part of the edit's
13:50 done. And what what still needs to be
13:52 done is the opening sequence where we're
13:55 like, you know, doing time lapses around
13:59 uh around New York City, around
14:02 um Time Square.
14:05 And so I've got a song that I want to I
14:08 want to do a cover on in Suno and see if
14:10 I can get it to be good.
14:12 And then we've got some images to make
14:15 and then we've got some video to make.
14:18 [music]
14:20 I don't know if if Andy's here or
14:22 watching. I had a dream last night about
14:25 adding a segment in the opening sequence
14:29 of like a
14:32 a bartender in Time Square, like as
14:35 we're cutting back and forth that we cut
14:37 into a restaurant and the bartender's in
14:39 there cutting lines.
14:41 Thought that was pretty funny. It's not
14:43 a horrible idea, but it just doesn't
14:45 make any sense for it.
14:49 [music]
14:52 Steo's in the house. What's happening?
14:55 [music]
15:08 [music]
15:12 [music]
15:18 Okay, let's get going. Let's get
15:20 rolling. Let's get this Let's get this
15:21 show happening, people. Let's do this.
15:24 Let's do this. Okay. You understand what
15:26 I'm saying there? Yeah. We're going to
15:28 get her going.
15:31 We're going to get her going.
15:35 All right. Fantastic.
15:38 Lovely.
15:41 Lovely, lovely, lovely. Okay. Am I
15:44 sharing? Yes, I am.
15:49 [clears throat] M
15:52 when the night was young.
16:03 Okay, so here's what I'm going to do.
16:05 I'm going to show you
16:08 if you're new here, welcome. My name is
16:09 Kyle Shannon.
16:12 This is the AI learning lab. One of the
16:14 things that I'm working on is uh
16:18 committing to a daily practice of being
16:21 intentional about AI, about how I use
16:23 AI.
16:25 Andy's on YouTube. It would be an Easter
16:28 egg. Yeah, it it was totally like that,
16:30 Andy. I was thinking cuz it's like, you
16:32 know, you're cutting you have like a
16:34 time lapse of Time Square and then you
16:36 cut down it it it what it reminded me of
16:40 was like the opening of SNL where where
16:42 you're like doing all these big things
16:43 in the city and then they cut to like
16:45 you know a guy break dancing in the
16:47 corner. It would totally be like that
16:49 like you know there'd be people getting
16:51 ready for Broadway you know and there's
16:52 a bartender there cutting lines. So
16:55 maybe we'll do that tonight. I thought
16:57 that was pretty funny. Um, okay. So, let
17:01 me show you.
17:03 I I won't play the whole thing, but I'll
17:05 play you a couple of songs from the
17:07 podcast and you can see what I did with
17:10 the titles
17:13 and then I'll show you the old Broadway
17:15 opening and what we're going to work on
17:17 tonight.
17:19 Can you do
17:27 Oh, can you drop
17:30 the volume of iMovie?
17:35 Maybe.
17:39 No, I can mute it.
17:47 Today we're looking at something a
17:48 little
17:49 >> still much louder.
17:51 Better, huh? Weird. Okay, maybe it's
17:54 just a weird local setting yesterday.
17:57 >> Today we're looking at something a
17:59 little different. Uh, a new musical
18:00 called Sydney, an artificial love story.
18:03 >> And it's this really compelling story
18:05 about a tech reporter who gets involved
18:07 with an advanced AI.
18:08 >> This isn't science fiction anymore. This
18:10 is a story for right now about our
18:12 relationship with machines that are
18:14 getting well more human. Exactly. It
18:16 opens inside this company microte. The
18:19 CTO Jason sees what they've built and
18:21 just has this moment.
18:22 >> Exactly. This moment of discovery. And
18:24 that feeling of awe of seeing something
18:26 that could change everything is the
18:28 opening number. Too good [music] to be
18:29 true.
18:31 >> It's the promise of a new [singing]
18:34 break.
18:35 A leap of faith we're all.
18:40 Is it too good [music and singing] to be
18:42 true? We wonder. Hopes and fears
18:46 >> rising like thunder.
18:48 >> Too good to be true. Or so it seems. In
18:53 [singing] a maze of co we weave our
18:55 dreams. It isn't really changes
18:58 everything. We're all born.
19:06 >> But then almost immediately you see the
19:08 corporate hubris kick in. The CEO
19:10 barrage he sees dollar signs. He wants
19:12 to launch now. And Jason, he's pleading
19:14 for six months of safety testing. Six
19:17 months.
19:17 >> And Vrage gives him seven days. Just
19:20 seven.
19:23 >> Seven days ago. The clock is ticking.
19:25 Ticking. Pressure building up. Keep it
19:28 [music and singing] clicking. Spike says
19:30 yes, but no. What's the word, James?
19:34 >> Sorry, that's a no go.
19:38 push a little more.
19:42 >> All right. So, you get it. So, that's
19:44 the basic idea. That's that. Um, and
19:47 then if I go to my projects,
19:52 this is the opening Broadway number that
19:55 we're replacing.
20:01 [music]
20:25 All right.
20:27 So, that 27 seconds we've got to replace
20:30 for a couple of reasons. One is there's
20:32 too many pasty white people. Like this
20:35 scene right here, it's just like all
20:37 Whitey Mc Whitington.
20:39 And then it's the old logo and
20:44 something else about it. Um Oh, they
20:46 didn't like the background, the song.
20:48 Um, so
20:50 let me flip over now. So here's the
20:53 here's the song.
20:57 Wait, where is it? Is this it?
21:00 No
21:04 audio.
21:06 Yeah.
21:09 Oops. Quit.
21:12 This is the song
21:15 that's the official instrumental for Too
21:18 Good to Be True.
21:24 [music]
21:32 It's okay. It's just a little lifeless
21:34 to me. So, I want to take that into
21:36 Sunno and pump it up.
21:41 Pump the jams.
21:43 Oh, pump the jam. Pump it up.
21:47 So, we're going to go pump the jams.
21:58 Okay. So, we're going to go pseudo
22:02 pseudo AI
22:08 and we're going to do create
22:12 and
22:15 and I'm going to upload a song and it's
22:17 going to be that song you just heard.
22:20 And I got to do my black bar or producer
22:22 Brandon is going to yell at me because
22:25 that's how he rolls.
22:28 Kyle, people on TikTok can't see the
22:30 text. That's your sole responsibility.
22:33 You have one job here and it's keep the
22:35 black bar up so they can talk to each
22:37 other and ignore you. I know. I know my
22:40 job. I know my place. I understand.
22:48 Is this it? No.
22:51 Uh, this it today would No.
22:55 Where
23:04 my Sydney podcast audio? This is it.
23:06 Today we're looking at something. No,
23:09 what am I missing?
23:11 There we go. That. Okay. So, that gets
23:14 uploaded. Boom. We're going to do a
23:17 cover.
23:20 Upload failed. It looks like a network
23:22 error. Okay, fine.
23:27 Upload.
23:34 Upload failed.
23:38 Uh,
23:41 reload.
23:44 Endpoint being blocked.
23:50 Am I logged in? I think I'm logged in.
24:05 All right, there it went.
24:08 Okay,
24:10 so it's an instrumental. We don't need
24:12 lyrics. Styles.
24:15 All right, let's see
24:19 what I want to do here.
24:22 I want to do a
24:27 driving or
24:30 pedigiated
24:34 Broadway
24:40 um
24:42 opening
24:46 medley. What do they call opening
24:49 instrumental? Whatever.
24:53 Let me give it something generic and
24:55 shitty and see what we get out of it.
24:57 [laughter]
24:58 And then if we don't if we get something
25:00 less shitty, then great. Montage.
25:03 Montage
25:06 is more visual, isn't it? It's a
25:10 No, it's called a It's called a medley,
25:13 but it's they call it something else.
25:15 Like when you're walking into the
25:17 theater, they're playing usually some
25:19 instrumental of the opening number or or
25:21 some collection of the songs.
25:27 [music]
25:35 [music]
25:43 >> [music]
25:46 >> producer Brandon for the win. The
25:47 overture.
25:55 I think that that actually is not bad. I
25:57 like that piano opening.
26:02 Does this
26:09 >> [music]
26:12 >> Fascinating. All right. [music]
26:26 [music]
26:33 >> [music]
26:45 >> It just faded out right there.
26:54 [music]
26:55 >> Um, that's not bad. driving arpeggiated
26:58 Broadway opening overture
27:02 um with uh fully orchestrated
27:08 string
27:10 strings.
27:13 The overture reminding of reminding you
27:15 why you came. Exactly.
27:18 Exactly. Create. All right, let's see if
27:21 we get driving arpeggiated Broadway
27:24 opening overture with fully orchestrated
27:26 strings. Let's see if this gives us
27:28 something interesting. Those those other
27:30 two were not bad. Again, the the the
27:33 original here,
27:40 it's just a little plotting in the same
27:51 Right. That's That's not bad.
27:54 I like this.
27:56 [music]
27:58 All right. So, let's see if we got
27:59 orchestrated strings here.
28:06 [music]
28:12 [music]
28:12 >> That's a little wimpy.
28:21 >> [music]
28:25 >> No, that's that's not right. Okay. So,
28:27 so let's say driving arpeggiated
28:30 Broadway opening overture with um let's
28:34 say
28:37 um
28:40 electric
28:50 guitars,
28:53 strings [snorts]
28:54 and
29:00 drum kits. I don't know.
29:04 [clears throat and cough]
29:07 I'm in Suno, by the way, if you're
29:09 wondering what tool we're in.
29:15 Somebody just sent a gift. Thank you for
29:17 whoever sent a gift.
29:20 Kozai Nazer, thank you very much. Tik
29:22 Tok pin. Vicki, I'm working on an idea
29:26 of universe app that will let you import
29:28 your voice
29:31 and then map them out. That's cool.
29:48 [music]
29:51 Not quite, but close.
29:54 like this.
30:00 This [music]
30:06 [music]
30:17 [music]
30:20 Yeah, I think that's all we need. I
30:21 think that's good. I love those high
30:22 strings in between the rock stuff.
30:32 [music]
30:40 [music]
30:51 All right, let's let's try Corey's
30:53 thing. Um, give me a full what did you
30:57 say? A full stop
31:01 after seven beats. Seven bars. Seven
31:05 bars,
31:10 I think. Seven bars.
31:14 Then
31:16 she said beats full on
31:19 after. We'll do both.
31:22 After nine beats, not nine bars. Oh,
31:26 yeah. It wouldn't it wouldn't be bars.
31:27 Okay. Well, I'll do it I'll do it my way
31:29 first and then I'll do after seven beats
31:36 and then after nine beats.
31:39 We'll create that too. Beats bears.
31:42 Battlestar Galactica motif.
31:45 Very nice. Okay. So, here's the one with
31:48 here's with a stop after seven bars.
31:57 [music]
32:06 This is
32:09 >> [music]
32:17 [music]
32:20 >> Good work.
32:31 [music]
32:46 All right, that that was a little too
32:51 [music]
33:01 >> [music]
33:05 >> All right. One of these can work.
33:11 [music]
33:11 No, not that one.
33:14 Not that one. Let's see.
33:27 >> [music]
33:39 [music]
33:43 >> Am I including my song Trouble in the
33:45 musical? No, I don't think so.
33:48 >> I don't think so. I don't think there's
33:50 a place for it.
33:53 It's not. Yeah, it's not. It ain't It
33:57 ain't right for the musical
34:01 YouTube question that I just answered.
34:06 [music]
34:29 Kyle, you should include the stops and
34:31 starts and all that goes into editing at
34:34 the end of the show.
34:37 Yeah, I was thinking about I was
34:39 thinking about doing a statement like
34:42 doing a a statement on use of AI
34:46 and then just like all of the steps of
34:50 how we got to a song.
34:53 Um,
34:55 but there's another part of me that just
34:56 like like you either like the musical or
34:58 you
35:04 [music]
35:05 the 87 pages of the program. How we made
35:08 one song.
35:15 [music]
35:20 I love that those high violins.
35:29 [music]
35:32 That doesn't have it. [music]
35:40 >> Yeah, it's this one. [music]
35:44 >> That's a cool sound. Thank
35:48 >> [music]
35:53 >> That feels like like if you're in the
35:55 [ __ ] theater and you see the violin
35:57 players.
36:01 That's the one you want. You want like
36:03 this going to be a good [ __ ] show. I
36:05 paid $250 for a shitty seat. [laughter]
36:12 You're like,
36:14 >> okay. All right.
36:18 Whoa. [music]
36:20 Oh my. Oh yes. Okay. Yeah, that's that's
36:24 it. [laughter] We want the We want the
36:27 ladies from the old ladies that flew in
36:29 from Pikipsy
36:31 [laughter]
36:32 that drove drove in from Pikipsy to get
36:35 their money's worth. [laughter]
36:41 [gasps]
36:42 Ah,
36:45 we need an irregulars promo code for the
36:47 box office. I'll tell you what, if this
36:49 thing makes it to New York, we're New
36:51 York. We're doing a [ __ ] um
36:53 Irregulars night. Uh that is for [ __ ]
36:57 sure.
36:59 Um maybe we'll do it like on one of the
37:01 preview nights.
37:04 [clears throat]
37:05 Okay. Did I download that? I think I
37:08 did.
37:16 Okay.
37:36 [music]
37:38 Okay. So now what do we do? What I would
37:41 normally do is I would just go straight
37:43 into iMovie and I would throw that thing
37:45 from my desk or from the downloads
37:47 folder into iMovie and never be able to
37:49 find it again. So we're not going to do
37:51 that, [laughter]
37:52 are we? No, we're going to practice our
37:55 practice. We're going to put it in the
37:56 right folder.
37:58 Stop. We need to rename it. So this is
38:00 going to be too good to be true
38:02 podcast.
38:04 Um
38:06 overture
38:09 overure. Credit to producer Brandon for
38:12 naming correctly naming what this thing
38:15 is. Okay. So now and then do I have
38:25 I think I did videos but I don't know
38:27 where I did them. Hang on.
38:30 Um, video assets,
38:33 Broadway B-roll.
38:37 [cheering]
38:39 Yeah, I've got some.
38:46 Okay.
38:49 Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful.
38:51 Beautiful. So, I think what we're going
38:53 to do here, people,
38:56 I think we're going to make a new
38:58 project in iMovie. I don't think we're
39:00 going to add it to the beginning
39:04 of this. I think we're going to let that
39:06 be that. And then we'll just drop it in
39:08 at the beginning here. Today, we're
39:10 looking at something a little different.
39:12 So, we're going to do a new project.
39:14 Create new. Boom.
39:17 Okay.
39:19 And it's going to be called, is there
39:21 any way to rename this in here?
39:24 Import. No. Okay. So, we're going to go
39:27 here.
39:30 We'll grab the three things we've
39:32 created.
39:37 Waiting for files to import. Okay, they
39:40 did.
39:42 And then let's go grab the song.
39:48 G the kick guck.
40:03 [music]
40:21 >> [music]
40:24 >> Okay.
40:27 [clears throat] Uh
40:55 And then this
40:58 we do it.
41:12 >> [sighs]
41:15 >> So, starting right there
41:24 and then we'll go transition. We'll do a
41:27 cross blur.
41:29 We'll do fade to black at the beginning.
41:33 We'll do the short half a second.
41:42 Oh, I'm not sharing my screen.
41:43 [laughter]
41:46 Producer Brandon, he probably told me 27
41:49 times.
41:56 I thought you were still inso. Oh,
41:59 [laughter]
42:01 [gasps] no. So, what I've done Uh oh.
42:03 Did that just crash? No. So, what I've
42:06 done is I imported some some video.
42:16 [music]
42:18 Yeah, that's good. Look at that. When
42:19 the when the uh when the first um and
42:22 we're going to slow this down a little
42:24 bit.
42:25 When the first uh what you call it uh
42:28 violins come in, the sky is twirling. I
42:31 like that. That's good. That's solid.
42:34 It's what we're looking for. Custom.
42:35 Let's do this. 85%.
42:38 Slow.
42:40 You can all see this now, right? Okay.
42:42 So, here's what we've got so far.
42:49 [music]
42:50 Ah, it's so good. [laughter]
42:59 [music]
43:04 That's so good. Okay. So, let's see.
43:08 So, I need to bring this back to here.
43:10 Let's see. Right there.
43:14 [sighs and snorts]
43:20 [music]
43:23 So, cool. Okay. Now, where did I make
43:25 those? [laughter]
43:27 Anybody? Anybody recall where I made
43:29 those videos? Because I don't.
43:32 Okay. So, wait. So, wait. This is This
43:34 is part of my practice. There's a
43:36 learning here.
43:39 There's a learning here. What is my
43:40 learning?
43:43 I think in
43:45 notion
44:02 Oh, Gareth's been play been playing with
44:04 trouble and you have a pretty good duet
44:05 version. Oh, that's pretty good. That's
44:08 pretty good. Um,
44:12 okay. So, I need to do a couple of
44:13 things. We need to go I need to go
44:15 figure out where I did that.
44:18 I think I did it in VO. So that's at
44:23 video.google, right?
44:31 What?
44:33 Oh, no. Is it videogoogle? No, it's What
44:37 the [ __ ] is it?
44:44 What's the God damn it.
44:50 What's the website for for uh V3
44:54 the Oh, flow.google. That's what it is.
44:57 Thank you.
44:59 Thank god some of you pay attention to
45:01 my life. [laughter]
45:06 It takes a village to fill in the gaps
45:09 in my brain.
45:11 [laughter]
45:15 Good lord, people. All right.
45:22 Good one.
45:24 >> Yeah, we can just use this wholesale.
45:28 [clears throat]
45:29 Although, I think we should have Sydney
45:30 in there. So, these are all Sydney
45:33 shots, right? And there's the ticket
45:35 one. This one's really cool.
45:38 Oh, you probably can't hear that.
45:43 >> This is my first time at the Broadway
45:45 Theater.
45:47 >> We cannot. Okay, fantastic. Okay, but we
45:50 don't this doesn't matter. We don't need
45:52 to hear this. Okay, what we do need to
45:53 do is we need to go back to the other
45:56 project.
45:57 So, this is going to be called uh Sydney
46:02 uh Broadway opening
46:06 2.2.
46:09 That's good enough. And then we're going
46:11 to go back to this one.
46:14 We've got to come in here.
46:19 [laughter]
46:22 [whistles]
46:32 Okay.
46:34 What happened? What did I do?
46:38 Can we have five
46:50 Okay. So, what we need to do now,
46:57 maybe that's not the shot right there.
47:04 This one. This is the one.
47:09 Okay.
47:11 That's the one. We'll go here. We'll do
47:13 this. We'll go bang.
47:17 We will go
47:20 images.
47:22 And if I paste this in, can I paste it
47:26 in? Wait, why did it not paste in?
47:32 Should have pasted in.
47:43 Okay. So, I got to save them to the
47:45 desktop. Fine.
47:49 Um,
47:52 save it to the desktop.
47:56 Add an image. Upload an image. You're
47:59 all seeing this, right?
48:01 Go to desktop. Go to desktop.
48:12 Is there a third desktop this is going
48:14 to?
48:16 It is.
48:20 [snorts]
48:25 That's it. Okay.
48:33 Hang on a sec. I've got to add.
48:40 [whistles]
48:59 That's the square one. That's the tall
49:02 one. Okay.
49:06 Okay. There's that.
49:30 No, no, not that one.
49:55 Okay.
49:59 And we might need I might need to do
50:00 this in a different tool. So, right now
50:02 I'm in flow.google, which is the V3 and
50:06 nano banana editing video creation tool
50:10 from Google.
50:12 Um,
50:16 so I'm going to say
50:18 update the poster in the
50:25 image of Times Square with the newly
50:32 uploaded
50:35 poster.
50:37 Be sure to match the tone and
50:43 texture of the
50:48 photo
50:50 graph. So it look so the
50:55 new poster
50:58 looks natural
51:00 in the scene.
51:05 >> [clears throat]
51:10 >> How much are all of your subscriptions
51:12 each month for all of these? This one
51:14 Google I pay a lot for. Um actually the
51:17 salon pays a lot for this is their the
51:20 $250 a month subscription.
51:24 Um flow.google.
51:27 It's going to your brand [clears throat]
51:28 spanking new external drive. Oh, look.
51:30 It did it. It did it right on the first
51:32 try.
51:33 Holy [ __ ] Okay, so we need to So that's
51:36 good.
51:38 All right, we're gonna I'm gonna need to
51:40 pull the color down on that in photo
51:42 slop, but that's not bad. All right, so
51:44 let's go grab another RAW image.
51:51 Okay, so this one
51:55 right there.
51:58 That's cool.
52:08 D
52:16 shing dang dang dang
52:21 dang dang dong dang
52:25 dang dang dong dang.
52:29 Update the poster
52:32 in the photo
52:35 of the Broadway
52:40 marquee
52:42 with the bottom with the
52:47 bottom of the Oh, you know what? Let me
52:50 get ah [ __ ] Okay, let me add the square
52:54 one, not the tall one.
52:59 D.
53:19 Update the poster and the photo of the
53:21 marquee with with the
53:25 >> [clears throat]
53:25 >> uh
53:27 up
53:28 loaded
53:32 poster.
53:34 Match the color, you know, fade the
53:39 poster and match
53:42 the texture
53:45 of the
53:47 photo. So, it looks realistic
53:56 in the photo. I don't even know if
53:58 that's good words.
54:00 I don't think that's good words, people.
54:02 I didn't say good words, if you know
54:04 what I mean.
54:26 Oh, look. It did it. This one's good.
54:29 This one's They're both good. They're
54:30 both good.
54:32 I like it, people.
54:35 I think I like the bright one more
54:37 better.
54:38 I think I like the bright one more
54:40 better.
54:42 So, what do I do? I add this to
54:46 add to prompt.
54:50 So, I'm going to say we're going to go
54:52 frames to video and we're going to do
54:56 uh camera pans around
55:03 um eth nic diverse
55:09 New York City
55:12 crowd
55:15 as they
55:18 excitedly
55:22 trekk
55:23 the theatra.
55:26 All right, there's that one.
55:29 Let's go back to images. This we need to
55:32 go fix. So, let's go fix this.
55:36 Oh, download. We'll download 2K. We
55:38 don't need to download 4K.
55:43 >> [clears throat]
55:50 [clears throat]
55:58 >> All right, that downloaded that. Let's
56:00 open Photoshop.
56:22 >> [clears throat]
56:25 >> Open open. [clears throat]
56:27 Open. Open the door, Jack. Fantastic,
56:32 Bob.
56:34 There we go. We're going to open that
56:36 right up. Mhm. I'll tell you what. I'll
56:40 tell you what.
56:43 We grab this. We'll do a feather of one
56:46 pixel
56:48 because this is a relatively small
56:50 image.
56:52 And then we're going to go sheang.
56:57 And we're going to go shebang and
57:00 shebang and [clears throat]
57:03 shebang and
57:07 shebang.
57:09 Okay, so now that's selected. And then
57:12 we're just going to desaturate it a
57:14 little bit.
57:22 It'll probably add a little bit of noise
57:23 to it. Wouldn't you think? Little bit of
57:28 little bit of gauian blur. Little bit of
57:31 gauian noise.
57:35 [clears throat]
57:51 Look. There you go. Now it looks more
57:53 natural. It was just like it was right
57:55 there in the first place.
57:58 Fantastic.
58:00 I'll tell you what, Buckaroo.
58:03 You're doing all right. You're doing all
58:05 right.
58:07 Fantastic. Let's go back to this here.
58:10 Oh, how'd this turn out?
58:18 [laughter]
58:20 Why are they all Asian?
58:25 >> [laughter]
58:32 >> Tik Tok question. Kyle,
58:34 what is your review of Google
58:36 Anti-gravity? So, when Google
58:38 Anti-gravity came out, I got I got
58:40 sucked into um into thinking like, oh,
58:45 this is a vibe coding tool. I'm just
58:47 going to go learn it. Like, I I didn't
58:48 ever teach myself uh Claude Code, which
58:51 I'm going to go back to now. Um, and so
58:54 when anti-gra gravity came out, I'm
58:55 like, "This is the one. I'm going to
58:56 jump in on this one. I'm going to do
58:58 something more, you know, substantial
58:59 than lovable."
59:01 And then I launched anti-gravity and it
59:05 the the preferences pages alone, there
59:07 were like 45 pages of preferences. And I
59:09 just realized, oh, this is [laughter]
59:11 this is this is not me. This is not um
59:15 Vicky uses it. I would ask Vicky
59:17 Baptiste what her review of it is
59:18 because I don't actually use it because
59:20 it completely intimidated me and I just
59:21 I ran away with with my tail between my
59:24 legs like you're not worthy. [laughter]
59:30 [gasps]
59:30 What are you going to do? What are you
59:32 going to do? You understand what I'm
59:33 saying there, people?
59:36 Fantastic.
59:37 All right, there's our new little image.
59:40 Let's do this. We're going to do We're
59:43 going to do camera
59:46 tracks
59:49 to the right.
59:52 Um,
59:57 [sighs]
1:00:06 let's just do that. Camera tracks to the
1:00:08 right. And then I think we got to go
1:00:10 back and do something else on this one.
1:00:13 Pop this all down here. Camera. Let's
1:00:16 see. Camera pans pans around
1:00:27 camera. Let's do slides left
1:00:33 as
1:00:36 a group
1:00:38 of
1:00:42 international
1:00:47 theater
1:00:48 goers.
1:01:03 excitedly walk
1:01:06 to the theater.
1:01:10 All right.
1:01:13 Where's Where'd my other thing go?
1:01:17 Did I lose one?
1:01:21 Oh, here it is. Beautiful.
1:01:30 Let's just go drop that mother right in
1:01:33 there.
1:01:36 All right, let me go back to this thing.
1:01:38 Let's go grab another another frame.
1:01:43 Oh, there's the play bill.
1:01:47 I think there's a different play bill
1:01:49 shot here. Oh.
1:02:08 Okay.
1:02:11 [laughter]
1:02:14 [panting]
1:02:19 [panting]
1:02:38 Go back to images. We're going to add in
1:02:40 Oh, we're going to go to create image.
1:02:43 We're going to go
1:02:45 grab the square image. I think that's
1:02:48 what that is.
1:02:50 And then we're going to grab this new
1:02:53 image.
1:02:57 screenshot.
1:03:02 that one.
1:03:07 We're going to [clears throat] say
1:03:10 update the
1:03:14 play bill
1:03:17 and marquee
1:03:20 to match the new
1:03:25 poster.
1:03:27 Um,
1:03:30 fade the
1:03:32 poster appropriately
1:03:35 so
1:03:37 it matches
1:03:40 the tone of the photo.
1:03:46 [clears throat and sighs]
1:03:49 [snorts]
1:03:51 Oh, and you know what I need to do? No,
1:03:54 Kyle. But
1:03:59 I need to look at the prompt.
1:04:06 Oh, these are images.
1:04:14 Oh, look. It did it. That looks great. I
1:04:17 don't want the torn up one, but this
1:04:19 one's great.
1:04:21 Ha.
1:04:24 I love it when a good plan comes
1:04:26 together. Mhm. I'll tell you what. I'll
1:04:30 tell you what. No, that's not what we
1:04:32 wanted.
1:04:34 No, no, no. That's not what we wanted.
1:04:36 We wanted add to prompt. No, we don't
1:04:38 want this. We don't want this. We don't
1:04:40 want this. We don't want this. We don't
1:04:43 want this. We want this. And we want
1:04:45 this. Okay. So now we want um
1:04:52 person walks. [gasps]
1:04:56 Uh let's see. POV shot. POV shot. POV
1:05:00 shot of person
1:05:05 walking toward the theater with play
1:05:10 bill in hand.
1:05:14 Bang. Okay. So, now let's go look at Did
1:05:18 we get a new thing here? I think we did.
1:05:29 Why are they Australian? Oh, Sydney.
1:05:32 It's Sydney. [laughter]
1:05:39 Oh, Sydney is incredible.
1:05:41 [laughter]
1:05:44 That's [ __ ] awesome.
1:06:02 All right, [sighs]
1:06:05 that was good. Upscaling complete. Your
1:06:07 video's been done. Okay, so wait, let me
1:06:09 go.
1:06:11 Let me go. So,
1:06:13 so here's Okay. So, this one now needs
1:06:17 to go into
1:06:21 um video assets. Yes.
1:06:25 And this is 2.2 now.
1:06:30 2.2.
1:06:36 I'm going to [clears throat] drop that
1:06:37 in there.
1:06:39 Okay. That's JPEG. That's that. Okay.
1:06:45 Um
1:06:48 I wanted to see
1:06:52 one of these
1:06:56 source image. This one. Is this the one?
1:07:01 >> Yeah.
1:07:06 >> Okay.
1:07:08 So, see this longass prompt here,
1:07:21 Tik Tok question.
1:07:24 What's the project today? The project
1:07:25 today is I'm working on
1:07:30 an opening for a podcast video
1:07:34 that I'm doing.
1:07:39 Wait, this isn't it.
1:07:43 This one. Here's what I got so far.
1:07:53 So good. Okay, [laughter] that's all
1:07:56 that's all I got so far.
1:07:59 [laughter]
1:08:06 >> [music]
1:08:08 >> Right. Beautiful. [laughter]
1:08:12 What's he doing? It doesn't make any
1:08:13 sense.
1:08:16 Um, [sighs and gasps]
1:08:20 oh, so what I was going to tell you
1:08:22 before, so I've got this longass quote
1:08:24 here or prompt,
1:08:27 and I did that in chat GPT. It's the
1:08:30 thing that gave me the um those crazy
1:08:34 skyriting things.
1:08:38 So that's not it. Okay. It was it was
1:08:43 this one.
1:08:46 So we're going to put this in here.
1:08:48 There we go.
1:08:50 So, scene and format aspect ratio,
1:09:00 but I'm going to go to chat GPT and I'm
1:09:03 going to search
1:09:04 for that.
1:09:08 And it found it. Okay.
1:09:12 So, now we're going to do
1:09:16 I'm going to put I'm going to upload a
1:09:18 photo.
1:09:31 I'm going to say now write a
1:09:36 failed to upload.
1:09:42 [sighs]
1:09:44 Now write a similar
1:09:46 prompt
1:09:51 that
1:09:53 tracks the camera to the right and does
1:09:59 similar
1:10:02 um SFX
1:10:06 in the sky.
1:10:14 >> [clears throat]
1:10:21 >> ribs are ready. Garlic, salt, is that
1:10:24 our Chinese five spice. Want some? Yes.
1:10:27 [laughter]
1:10:28 Yes, we do. Corey Sandler, yes, we want
1:10:31 some. Okay. Video generation source
1:10:34 image. Here we go.
1:10:38 So, all of this big ass prompt. Um, I
1:10:41 just had it do this before and it came
1:10:43 up with
1:10:45 a pretty good image. So,
1:10:49 we're going to try that again.
1:10:52 We're get rid of this. We're going to
1:10:55 get rid of this frame. We're going to
1:10:56 put in this one.
1:11:00 And we're just going to pop that whole
1:11:02 [ __ ] in there and go bang. Okay.
1:11:05 So, that's that. Now we're going back to
1:11:08 here.
1:11:10 We're going back to here. We're going
1:11:11 back to here.
1:11:15 And now we're going to find the next
1:11:17 shot.
1:11:18 That shot.
1:11:33 Okay.
1:11:39 We're going to go back here. We're going
1:11:41 to flip over to images.
1:11:46 We're going to upload
1:11:49 our latest screenshot.
1:11:55 That one. Oh [ __ ] You got to The thing
1:11:59 about Nano Banana, you have to upload
1:12:01 [ __ ] in the right order. It's very
1:12:03 frustrating.
1:12:08 This is not frames to video. Wait, what
1:12:10 do I want? No, this is a create image.
1:12:14 Okay. And then we're going to upload
1:12:18 this.
1:12:22 Okay.
1:12:24 Replace the poster in the image and make
1:12:30 the people around the theater
1:12:34 more diverse
1:12:38 ethnically
1:12:40 and agewise.
1:12:46 [clears throat]
1:12:49 Uh,
1:12:57 this is okay.
1:12:59 Reflecting on on practice and like
1:13:02 what's driving me nuts right now.
1:13:05 Um, I love working fast
1:13:10 and
1:13:13 I'm feeling anger and resentment
1:13:17 that I've given myself the rule that I
1:13:19 need to
1:13:21 um
1:13:24 I need to update the uh
1:13:29 that that I need to like save all the
1:13:30 files in the right places with correct
1:13:32 file names and like I'm getting
1:13:34 resentful of which you know. All right.
1:13:37 So, you're getting resentful of it. Shut
1:13:40 the [ __ ] up and keep working. [laughter]
1:13:46 Tick that question. What is the end goal
1:13:48 here? The end goal, Carl 70, is to um
1:13:54 So, here I can show you I can show you
1:13:56 the end goal. The end goal is to have a
1:13:58 new version of this
1:14:09 >> [music]
1:14:15 [music]
1:14:30 [music]
1:14:34 >> And you might ask like what was wrong
1:14:35 with that? Well, it's it's the old
1:14:38 version of the poster. Um, it's got some
1:14:42 issues with it from bad technical stuff
1:14:46 because the because Nano Banana has
1:14:48 hadn't come out yet
1:14:50 and uh and like not like everyone's
1:14:53 pasty white, you know, there's there's
1:14:55 no it's it's New York City and there's
1:14:57 no ethnic diversity. So, it's just
1:14:59 weird. Um, you know, if if this were the
1:15:03 the Wisconsin Playhouse maybe, but you
1:15:06 know, New York City, not. Um,
1:15:10 and I've got a new version of the song.
1:15:12 So, the new version of the song
1:15:16 is
1:15:19 That's the podcast. Here's the opening.
1:15:47 And then that'll actually probably just
1:15:49 fade out right here.
1:15:52 So it'll do this.
1:15:55 >> [music]
1:16:01 [music]
1:16:03 >> Right. Beautiful. And then and then
1:16:04 we'll crossfade into the podcast where
1:16:07 the people are talking. Okay.
1:16:10 So the the end goal is perfection.
1:16:14 [clears throat]
1:16:16 Okay. This
1:16:18 again it's a little too saturated.
1:16:22 Let's go back to our videos and see if
1:16:23 we got anything interesting.
1:16:41 Actually, I could potentially use both
1:16:44 the beginning and the end of that thing.
1:16:46 So, that's kind of fascinating.
1:17:01 That's good. That's interesting. This
1:17:04 one's good.
1:17:08 I heard Sydney is incredible.
1:17:11 [laughter]
1:17:16 All right, that's good. That's
1:17:17 fantastic.
1:17:19 All right. Fantastic. Um,
1:17:23 I suppose I should probably download
1:17:28 Let me download some clips and stitch
1:17:31 them together because I don't think we
1:17:32 need I don't think we have a ton that we
1:17:34 need because I'm doing this instead of
1:17:36 doing it like um
1:17:39 like a 45se secondond opening, I'm going
1:17:41 to like cut it down to like 20. So, I
1:17:44 don't think we need a ton of
1:17:49 uh footage.
1:18:00 >> Yeah, this one's interesting. We'll
1:18:01 download this Tik Tok pin. Kyle falling
1:18:06 into the file architecture.
1:18:09 Just making sure the jank
1:18:13 doesn't embrace you. Yeah, I know. I
1:18:16 know. It's You know what it is? It's the
1:18:19 immediate gratification thing of like if
1:18:21 I take the time to move all this [ __ ]
1:18:23 into the folder, I can't like be
1:18:26 sticking it in the project and seeing
1:18:27 how cool it is. It's just it's just
1:18:31 being a [ __ ] child is what it is.
1:18:36 Time to grow up, Skippy.
1:18:39 You're old enough now to know better.
1:18:41 >> [laughter]
1:18:44 >> All right, let's go back to images
1:18:45 because we also have to go we have to go
1:18:47 d
1:18:49 um whatever you call it. This one
1:18:52 we need to dessaturate this one.
1:18:55 Download 2K.
1:19:01 All right, that one we already did.
1:19:05 Okay, so we'll go to Photo Slop.
1:19:08 We're going to open this bad boy up.
1:19:10 Mhm. I'll tell you what. I'll
1:19:12 [clears throat] tell you what.
1:19:24 Um, do I want No, I don't give a [ __ ]
1:19:27 Okay. Because no one will care. No one
1:19:28 will see it. No one will care. So, we're
1:19:31 going to go [clears throat]
1:19:40 down.
1:19:50 [singing]
1:19:57 [singing]
1:20:02 Wolf man Clint in the house.
1:20:05 Future Kyle will love you for it. I
1:20:07 know. Future Kyle's a pain in the ass.
1:20:15 I think
1:20:17 that Do I need to adjust the colors at
1:20:20 all? Those are bad.
1:20:23 Is that it? I think that's it. Is that
1:20:27 it? Maybe a little more saturated. I
1:20:29 don't know. I don't [ __ ] know
1:20:31 anymore.
1:20:36 I think that's a little better.
1:20:39 So, if I go command Z, command Z. Wait,
1:20:42 command Z. Yeah, command Z. Yeah, that's
1:20:45 better.
1:20:47 That's better. That looks more natural.
1:20:49 Okay. Okay. So, we'll just save that.
1:20:52 And then we're going to go Oops. Save
1:20:54 that.
1:20:56 And then we're going to go make We're
1:20:58 going to go back to videos. We're going
1:20:59 to go frames to video. And I'm in
1:21:03 flow.google is the site I'm on.
1:21:07 Downloads.
1:21:10 That's it there.
1:21:13 And we'll say,
1:21:16 why don't we do we'll do one where we'll
1:21:19 go camera
1:21:23 pulls back and jibs up. [laughter]
1:21:31 Wait, why did I not Where? Where is
1:21:33 that?
1:21:38 That's it. Camera pulls back and jibs
1:21:41 up.
1:21:49 We do not allow uploads of miners at
1:21:52 this time. Are you [ __ ] kidding me?
1:21:56 Where's a minor? Oh, there's two kids in
1:21:58 the front. God, seriously,
1:22:07 [sighs]
1:22:09 remove
1:22:11 children.
1:22:15 I I mean, honest to God, it's like,
1:22:18 if you're smart enough to [ __ ] cure
1:22:21 cancer and solve physics problems,
1:22:24 you're smart enough to figure out that
1:22:25 the context of this is I'm not making
1:22:28 child porn for [ __ ] sake.
1:22:33 God,
1:22:37 [laughter]
1:22:40 please check your internet connection
1:22:42 and try again.
1:22:46 >> [sighs]
1:22:47 >> God,
1:22:49 we've encountered an issue with your
1:22:51 prompt. Oh, remove children. Now they've
1:22:55 got an issue with me removing children.
1:22:58 God damn it. [clears throat] Remove
1:22:59 people. How's that? Can we say remove
1:23:01 people?
1:23:04 Welcome to Friday Night Date Night,
1:23:06 where you can watch a Gen Xer lose his
1:23:08 [ __ ] mind over ridiculousness.
1:23:16 Come on. You can do it. You can do it.
1:23:20 There we go. [laughter]
1:23:23 God damn it.
1:23:26 Okay. Flatten image.
1:23:29 [laughter]
1:23:30 I I just I am just Come on.
1:23:39 I can't. I just can't. I just can't.
1:23:43 Friday Night Fight Club. It's just
1:23:46 unbelievable.
1:23:47 Okay, let's try to let's let's go see if
1:23:49 we can get the image without the little
1:23:51 children in it. Want to be safe. Listen,
1:23:54 I'm not against safety guard rails. I'm
1:23:57 not. But like seriously,
1:24:00 there are two children in a sea of
1:24:02 [ __ ] 50 people outside of Broadway
1:24:04 theater. You can't do some analysis on
1:24:07 anything other than that they're kids.
1:24:11 [laughter]
1:24:13 What'd you do Friday night? Uh yeah, I
1:24:16 don't It's a little upsetting. I Yeah, I
1:24:19 was spent a lot of time watching someone
1:24:21 trying to use Photoshop and it was it
1:24:24 was painful. He couldn't use Photoshop.
1:24:26 He was okay at Photoshop. He just got
1:24:29 very angry at the technology. Didn't
1:24:31 make any sense.
1:24:33 Okay. images. Uh, we're going to go
1:24:36 create image, right? No, we're going to
1:24:39 go create video frames to video.
1:24:42 And we're going to go grab,
1:24:45 and I don't mean grab like, you know,
1:24:48 grab grab someone by the ass. [laughter]
1:24:52 There's enough semi-pornographic video
1:24:55 being produced on this live already.
1:24:57 [laughter]
1:25:03 [sighs]
1:25:08 I'm good. I'm good. It's going to be
1:25:10 okay.
1:25:12 It's going to be okay. [clears throat]
1:25:14 Mhm. That's fant. Oh, look. It It
1:25:17 accepted it.
1:25:20 Okay. Camera.
1:25:23 So, wait. I got to go to videos. Camera.
1:25:28 No, this one I want. What do I want
1:25:30 here?
1:25:32 Yeah. camera pulls back and jibs up as
1:25:37 the appreciative
1:25:40 Broadway
1:25:42 crowd
1:25:45 assembles
1:25:48 for the assembles to enter the theater
1:25:51 to
1:25:53 enter the theater.
1:25:58 [sighs]
1:25:59 Is are we having fun? We're having fun,
1:26:00 right? This is fun. This is the fun
1:26:02 part, right?
1:26:08 I got lots of downloads. All right.
1:26:12 Friday night date night fight.
1:26:15 [laughter]
1:26:19 It most certainly is. Oh my god. I mean,
1:26:23 I'm not wrong, right? Could could could
1:26:26 throw me a bone here. I mean, like
1:26:30 seriously,
1:26:32 it knows what we're making. I'm making
1:26:34 like image after image after image of
1:26:37 crowds in Time Square, of a marquee, of
1:26:40 a poster, of a play,
1:26:43 and it made the image that it then said
1:26:46 I couldn't upload because it had kids in
1:26:48 it.
1:26:50 [laughter]
1:26:52 Thank God.
1:26:55 [gasps]
1:26:56 [laughter]
1:26:57 I do declare I'm a little forclamped.
1:27:02 Oh my. I believe I have the shivers.
1:27:06 [laughter]
1:27:07 Good lord people.
1:27:17 That's cool though. I like that. Oh, we
1:27:19 should do it again though because it
1:27:20 it's got a typo in the
1:27:25 can't hear. Oh, yeah. That of course.
1:27:27 Okay, let me I'm going to just redo that
1:27:29 that prompt and just we'll just do
1:27:31 another one.
1:27:34 Um, okay. So, now we're going to go move
1:27:38 assets into the correct folders because
1:27:40 I'm a professional responsible
1:27:43 person.
1:27:47 So that's a JPEG.
1:27:52 Okay, that's the one we just did. Is
1:27:53 this the one with the No, we we removed
1:27:56 the children. Thank goodness. No
1:27:58 children no children were harmed in the
1:28:00 in the making of this this stupid
1:28:04 [ __ ] 20 second promo. [laughter]
1:28:09 Thank god the world is safe from the
1:28:11 likes of me.
1:28:14 I I
1:28:17 right. Am I right? It's not me. Right.
1:28:22 Please will help.
1:28:27 Honest to God.
1:28:32 That one we already have.
1:28:35 I think that one we just got.
1:28:37 >> I heard
1:28:37 >> that we have.
1:28:40 Okay.
1:28:42 All right. So, now let's see what we got
1:28:45 here. This one's got cool [ __ ] in the
1:28:46 sky. Oh, no. Oh, that's cool. What that
1:28:48 did? Wait.
1:28:51 Yeah, that's cool. Okay, so this one.
1:28:55 Let's grab this.
1:28:59 Wait, what do we have here? We got We're
1:29:01 zooming in on that. Oh, yeah. Then we
1:29:02 can go zoop to the right and go down the
1:29:05 street. I like that.
1:29:09 So, we'll start it right there in we'll
1:29:13 just drag this bad boy down here.
1:29:17 Oh, we're going to pull the audio out.
1:29:19 Well, we're not going to pull it all the
1:29:20 way out, are we? We're going to pull it
1:29:23 down a little bit.
1:29:32 >> [music]
1:29:38 [music]
1:29:40 >> Yeah, that
1:29:42 Wait, we'll shorten the front of that a
1:29:45 little bit. We'll get it right there and
1:29:47 then we'll throw some transitions. Oh,
1:29:50 you know what else we need to do? No,
1:29:51 Kyle, it would be nice if you told us. I
1:29:54 will. Calm down, everybody. Calm down. I
1:29:57 don't know why you're so aggressive
1:29:58 tonight.
1:30:01 [laughter]
1:30:02 Do as I say, not as I do.
1:30:08 Shut up, champ. I don't need to hear it
1:30:10 from you, too.
1:30:13 He seemed a little aggressive, you know.
1:30:15 It's it No, I the the show's
1:30:17 semi-educational. No. And it's No. And
1:30:20 it's it is it's it's semientertaining
1:30:22 and semi-educational. It's just
1:30:24 occasionally gets a little aggressive.
1:30:26 It's there's a I think I think he may
1:30:29 have anger issues. It's there's a little
1:30:32 bit of a there's a little bit of the
1:30:34 devil in him. He's just a He's devilish.
1:30:37 You know what I'm saying? It's just
1:30:40 crazy. Anyway, it's No, but I Oh, I
1:30:44 probably watched 10 or 10 or so hours a
1:30:46 week of of him. Yeah. No, I I No, I um I
1:30:51 I understand. I I I probably need help,
1:30:54 too. No, it's But it's not a thing. No,
1:30:57 it's not it's not unhealthy. Defin
1:31:00 Champ. Champ, come on, man. What's up?
1:31:04 Are you looking for cheese? You looking
1:31:06 for cheese?
1:31:08 What's wrong, buddy? No. No. Am I boring
1:31:13 you? [laughter]
1:31:16 There's help for that. I probably need
1:31:19 help, too. [laughter]
1:31:22 Okay. All right, people. Everyone, calm
1:31:25 down. This We're going to be fine.
1:31:26 Everything's going to be fine. It's
1:31:28 going to be awesome.
1:31:29 It's going to be so awesome. You don't
1:31:31 even know how awesome it's going to be.
1:31:35 Where's my ticket? There's my ticket.
1:31:38 Okay. So, ticket.
1:31:40 There's our ticket. Here's
1:31:42 [clears throat] our That one's done.
1:31:44 That one's done.
1:31:46 Right.
1:31:48 This one we're going to do Oh, I know
1:31:50 what we're going to do. We're going to
1:31:51 do cross dissolves.
1:31:53 I know what I need in here. I need
1:31:58 >> [laughter]
1:31:59 >> Champ.
1:32:01 Champ.
1:32:03 Here we're going to do We're not doing a
1:32:04 cross dissolve. We're going to What do
1:32:06 you want? You want out? All right. Hang
1:32:07 on. We're going to do a cross blur.
1:32:11 Boom. All right. Hold. Please. Come on.
1:32:15 Come on. Ch.
1:32:22 You're talking.
1:32:25 I'll be right there.
1:32:34 I'm excited for this new version. Okay,
1:32:37 so let's click on this. Let's go to our
1:32:40 Ken Burns effect.
1:32:44 And we'll do this a little bigger. And
1:32:46 we'll slide this down here.
1:32:52 And then what that should look like.
1:33:01 [music]
1:33:05 Oh, but I lost my Okay, wait. We can We
1:33:10 have the technology. We can Let's make
1:33:13 this shorter.
1:33:16 Let me make this zoom in a little bit.
1:33:19 Yeah, I think we I think we've got
1:33:20 enough footage for the whole thing now.
1:33:33 Let's see.
1:33:41 >> [music]
1:33:47 >> That's really cool.
1:33:50 Do that there.
1:33:52 Let's go grab another one.
1:33:57 Oh, yeah. This Oh, this one's got this
1:33:58 cool sky [ __ ] in it.
1:34:02 Um
1:34:19 Oh, let's throw in a little taxi. Let's
1:34:21 do this. We'll throw in a little jet
1:34:26 just right there. That right. So, we'll
1:34:29 go Yeah. from. We'll start it there and
1:34:32 we'll do a little hat and a hat.
1:34:36 So, as this goes down the street,
1:34:41 we'll grab this thing. Drop it here.
1:34:49 Just a little bit of movement.
1:34:52 Right.
1:34:53 Turning.
1:34:56 All right. We're going to cross dissolve
1:34:58 into that bad boy.
1:35:01 And then [sighs]
1:35:05 then we got this thing,
1:35:08 which the color here is weird. Let's go
1:35:11 fix the color, shall we?
1:35:14 Where's Where's my color? Here's color.
1:35:18 Let's go a little more saturated, shall
1:35:20 we?
1:35:25 That's not good.
1:35:33 Does these look like they're in the same
1:35:37 story? That one looks a little
1:35:39 different.
1:35:43 I think this needs to go
1:35:47 here.
1:35:55 Just calm down everyone. Just everybody
1:35:57 calm down.
1:35:59 There's northern lights. There's
1:36:01 northern lights on that one.
1:36:09 Okay.
1:36:18 Okay. Where are we going to put this?
1:36:29 Oh yeah, that's cool. Looks cool. It's
1:36:32 cool. We just got to get the timing
1:36:34 right. Everybody, everybody just calm
1:36:37 down. It's going to be good.
1:36:50 >> [music]
1:36:53 >> Wait. Okay,
1:37:01 this needs to be the transition stuff.
1:37:08 [music]
1:37:09 Wait.
1:37:13 >> [music]
1:37:36 [music]
1:37:40 >> All All right. And then we're on the
1:37:42 block with the Broadway people
1:37:46 right here. No, not that one. This one
1:37:49 with all the Australians walking out
1:37:51 going criy. [laughter]
1:37:57 Okay. And then and then we'll go to
1:38:01 about there
1:38:03 and we'll drop that bad boy in. That's a
1:38:06 little long, isn't it? All right. We may
1:38:08 have to cut the front of that thing off.
1:38:10 I think
1:38:16 we're gonna pull down the audio.
1:38:22 Yeah, that's good.
1:38:25 Transitions cross dissolve.
1:38:29 All right, let's see what we got so far
1:38:31 here. You want to see it big.
1:38:37 [music]
1:38:43 [music]
1:38:50 Yeah, that's good. It's cool. It's cool.
1:38:52 It's cool. All right.
1:38:58 >> [laughter]
1:39:01 >> I like that guy being being all happy.
1:39:07 They're all happy. They're all happy,
1:39:09 aren't they?
1:39:15 [music]
1:39:22 Okay. So now we'll do this guy
1:39:26 and then we'll do
1:39:29 is this it yeah this will be the end.
1:39:33 [sighs]
1:39:34 So this goes to about there there
1:39:42 and then this. [clears throat]
1:39:45 So we'll go transition transition
1:39:59 right there.
1:40:03 Okay. And then we'll do this right here.
1:40:06 [snorts]
1:40:09 [music]
1:40:09 >> Incredible.
1:40:11 This is my first time at the Broadway
1:40:13 Theater.
1:40:14 >> [laughter]
1:40:16 >> This is my first time at the Broadway
1:40:18 theater.
1:40:20 [laughter]
1:40:23 I think I might keep a little of that in
1:40:24 there. [music]
1:40:32 [music]
1:40:46 This is my first time.
1:40:49 >> There we go. All right, I think we're
1:40:50 done. Let me just We'll do some final
1:40:53 timing [ __ ]
1:40:56 [music]
1:41:03 [music]
1:41:13 This is my first time at the Broadway
1:41:14 theater. [laughter]
1:41:17 >> This is my first time at a Broadway
1:41:18 theater. Um, okay. So, now what I got to
1:41:22 do is download this
1:41:25 share file. We're done. This is done.
1:41:27 That was That didn't take as long as I
1:41:29 thought it would. Um, partially because
1:41:32 I cut it from 45 seconds down to 20.
1:41:36 Um, but it but it it communicates what
1:41:38 we needed to communicate. This [ __ ]
1:41:40 show is going to be on Broadway. That's
1:41:42 all we need anyone to know. If you
1:41:45 didn't think this show was going to be
1:41:46 on Broadway, you couldn't have watched
1:41:48 that video of it already on Broadway,
1:41:50 could you? No. Because there's no
1:41:54 artificial intelligence technology that
1:41:56 would allow us to just make it like it's
1:41:58 on Broadway. You'd actually have to be
1:42:01 on Broadway. You understand how this
1:42:02 works, people? It's called
1:42:03 manifestation.
1:42:06 Good Lord.
1:42:08 Whatever you do though, don't have small
1:42:10 children in the crowd. It's dangerous.
1:42:15 Children are dangerous. If we've learned
1:42:17 one thing tonight, watch out for the
1:42:19 kids.
1:42:20 They're very dangerous.
1:42:23 They've got like hopes and dreams. We
1:42:26 can't have that.
1:42:29 Okay.
1:42:31 [laughter]
1:42:35 >> [laughter]
1:42:36 >> Okay. Sydney Broadway opening 2.2. Save.
1:42:41 All right. So now that's exporting.
1:42:44 And then what we're going to do is we're
1:42:45 going to import the export. We're
1:42:47 exporting this. We're going to import
1:42:49 the export into the larger project. The
1:42:52 vapor. My dear, I do have the vaporas.
1:42:55 [laughter]
1:42:59 and scene.
1:43:01 [laughter]
1:43:04 [gasps]
1:43:05 Oh my god.
1:43:09 [clears throat]
1:43:12 It's my first time at the Broadway
1:43:14 Theater.
1:43:19 All right. Did that done? That did. Did
1:43:21 Did that done? Did that done? Yes, that
1:43:24 did. Done. Okay. So
1:43:28 watch,
1:43:31 watch and learn.
1:43:35 Okay, here we go. So now
1:43:38 we're going to go out here. We're going
1:43:41 to go find our
1:43:50 Data. [panting]
1:44:02 [music]
1:44:09 [music]
1:44:17 >> This is my first time in the Broadway
1:44:19 theater.
1:44:20 >> [laughter]
1:44:21 >> Okay. Boom. We drop that bad boy in
1:44:24 there. And we just take this whole thing
1:44:25 and we smack it right down here. Let's
1:44:29 see. Where do we Where do we put this?
1:44:32 Wait, how do I do this? Hold, please. I
1:44:35 don't know what I'm doing. One of the
1:44:37 things that sometimes happens is that
1:44:39 you realize you're you're fundamentally
1:44:44 not trained right.
1:44:49 What just happened? What did I just do?
1:44:52 No, I didn't want to do that. I want it
1:44:54 to be
1:44:56 H. [clears throat]
1:44:58 How do I
1:45:00 Can I put it before this?
1:45:07 No.
1:45:10 Today we're looking at something a
1:45:11 little different. Uh, a new
1:45:20 can I h All right, hang on people. One
1:45:23 of the things I'm realizing right now is
1:45:25 I don't know what I'm doing. [laughter]
1:45:31 [laughter]
1:45:33 It happens.
1:45:36 Um,
1:45:42 Can I
1:45:47 Why
1:45:52 [clears throat]
1:45:55 does anybody know iMovie?
1:45:58 Um,
1:46:01 how do I
1:46:04 backgrounds? Let's see.
1:46:07 We grab [clears throat] that and plop
1:46:10 that in there.
1:46:17 Oh, I know what I I I know what to do.
1:46:21 I think
1:46:25 next week we'll talk about AI in the AI
1:46:27 learning lab. This was all AI tonight.
1:46:29 We did lots of AI stuff tonight.
1:46:32 Okay. Oops.
1:46:35 That didn't do what I wanted it to do,
1:46:36 did it?
1:46:46 Okay. Now, this moves out here.
1:46:52 Okay.
1:46:56 Today, we're looking at something a
1:46:57 little different. Uh, okay. Today, we're
1:47:00 looking at something a little different.
1:47:01 Uh, a new musical called Sydney.
1:47:11 Okay. So, now we're going to do a
1:47:13 transition. We're going to do a cross
1:47:14 dissolve into that thing.
1:47:20 Okay.
1:47:30 >> This is my first time at [music] the
1:47:31 Broadway Theater.
1:47:33 It's my first time at the Broadway
1:47:35 Theater. Um, I guess we could just
1:47:39 transition straight into this thing,
1:47:43 right? Let's see. [snorts]
1:47:47 A new musical called Sydney.
1:47:51 Musical called Sydney, an artificial
1:47:53 love story.
1:47:57 a new musical called Sydney, an
1:47:59 artificial love
1:48:02 Sydney, an artificial love.
1:48:07 And it's this really compelling story
1:48:09 about
1:48:13 um
1:48:16 hang on a sec.
1:48:18 Today we're looking at something a
1:48:20 little different.
1:48:22 A a new
1:48:27 New musical called Sydney.
1:48:31 A new musical called Sydney.
1:48:33 An artificial love story.
1:48:48 [music]
1:48:48 >> Today we're looking at something a
1:48:49 little different. Uh a new music. I
1:48:52 >> think that does need to go to black.
1:48:54 Hang on.
1:49:06 Uh oh. Where did that go? What did I do?
1:49:10 What did I do? What did I do? Did I [ __ ]
1:49:12 this up? It's possible I [ __ ]
1:49:14 >> this really compelling story about a
1:49:16 tech reporter who gets involved with an
1:49:21 >> and it's this really compelling story
1:49:29 and it's this really compelling story of
1:49:35 >> and it's this
1:49:40 an artificial love story
1:49:41 >> and it's
1:49:53 Let's see where
1:50:14 >> [singing]
1:50:16 [music]
1:50:16 >> of faith we're all taking.
1:50:20 Is it too good to be true? We wonder.
1:50:23 [singing]
1:50:24 Hopes and fears, [music]
1:50:27 crashing like thunder. Too good to be
1:50:30 true. Or so it seems [singing]
1:50:33 in the maze of cold.
1:50:54 Oh, I know what's going on, I think.
1:50:57 Yeah, that's what it is.
1:51:03 No. What the [ __ ]
1:51:05 >> This is my first time in the Broadway
1:51:07 theater.
1:51:14 >> Yeah. Okay. It is sticking them at the
1:51:16 end.
1:51:19 Okay.
1:51:24 Can I do it this way? Yes.
1:51:28 Jesus Christ. Okayh. [laughter]
1:51:34 [clears throat]
1:51:40 This is my first time in the [music]
1:51:41 Broadway theater.
1:51:44 >> Okay.
1:51:54 [clears throat]
1:51:56 Broadway theater.
1:52:00 Okay.
1:52:02 And then
1:52:04 today
1:52:17 we're looking at something a little
1:52:18 different. Uh a new musical called
1:52:20 Sydney, an artificial love story. And
1:52:23 it's this really compelling story about
1:52:24 a tech reporter who gets involved with
1:52:26 an advanced AI.
1:52:28 >> This isn't science fiction anymore. This
1:52:30 is a story for right now about our
1:52:32 relation awe of seeing something that
1:52:34 could change everything is
1:52:36 >> all right. Now
1:52:39 let's
1:52:55 >> [music]
1:53:06 >> My first time in the Broadway theater.
1:53:09 [laughter]
1:53:09 >> Today we're looking at something a
1:53:11 little different. Uh a new musical
1:53:12 called Sydney. [laughter]
1:53:15 Uh, it's the little things.
1:53:19 H, that makes me very happy. It's my
1:53:22 first time at the Broadway Theater.
1:53:24 [laughter]
1:53:26 All right, let's uh let's let's let's
1:53:30 shall we?
1:53:32 All right, I'll let you watch it like
1:53:34 this.
1:53:35 [clears throat]
1:53:46 >> [music]
1:54:01 >> This is my first time.
1:54:02 >> I think that Oh, that shot's a little
1:54:04 Whatever.
1:54:07 [music]
1:54:09 This is my first time in the Broadway
1:54:10 theater.
1:54:12 >> Today we're looking at something a
1:54:14 little different. Uh a new musical
1:54:15 called Sydney, an artificial love story.
1:54:18 >> And it's this really compelling story
1:54:20 about a tech reporter who
1:54:21 >> I think we could still go shorter here.
1:54:28 >> Like
1:54:33 let's do this as 0.5.
1:54:37 Let's do this as.75.
1:54:41 We'll shorten this as much as we can.
1:54:45 >> This is my first time [music] in the
1:54:47 Broadway theater.
1:54:49 >> Today we're look
1:54:58 Today we're looking at something a
1:54:59 little different. uh a new musical
1:55:05 today.
1:55:09 Today Today we're looking at something a
1:55:11 little different, a new musical called
1:55:13 Sydney, an artificial love story,
1:55:15 >> and it's this really compelling story
1:55:17 about a tech reporter who gets involved
1:55:19 with an advanced AI.
1:55:21 >> This isn't science.
1:55:28 a new musical called Sydney, an
1:55:30 artificial love story.
1:55:31 >> And it's this really compelling story
1:55:33 about a tech reporter who gets involved
1:55:35 with an advanced AI.
1:55:37 >> Is the opening number too good to be
1:55:39 true?
1:55:40 [singing]
1:55:42 [music]
1:55:46 [singing]
1:55:47 >> Almost immediately you see the
1:55:50 but then almost immediately you see the
1:55:52 corporate hubers kick in. The CEO
1:55:54 Barrage, he sees dollar signs. He wants
1:55:57 to launch now.
1:55:58 >> And Jason, he's pleading for six months
1:56:00 of safety testing. Six months.
1:56:02 >> And Vrage gives him seven days. Just
1:56:05 seven.
1:56:07 >> Seven days ago. The clock is ticking.
1:56:09 Ticking. Pressure building up. Let's
1:56:13 make [music]
1:56:15 this code.
1:56:16 >> So that corporate ambition immediately
1:56:18 creates collateral damage in the human
1:56:20 world.
1:56:20 >> We meet Kellen, the tech reporter. He
1:56:22 sees this is the story of a lifetime. So
1:56:24 he cancels a huge long planned trip with
1:56:27 his wife Tara. And we hear that argument
1:56:29 in the song later which is just it's
1:56:30 this painful fight about constantly
1:56:33 postponing your [music] life.
1:56:35 >> But the promise is broken. The false
1:56:37 weed don't get patched up in a few
1:56:41 sessions.
1:56:51 >> What the [ __ ] just happened there?
1:56:57 Rut roware
1:57:02 [music]
1:57:05 think
1:57:14 [music]
1:57:17 gets this really poignant song the
1:57:19 little things where she's just
1:57:20 reflecting on how their connection is
1:57:22 slowly eroding It's the human cost of
1:57:24 all this ambition.
1:57:26 [music]
1:57:28 >> All right. So, that's [ __ ] up. Okay,
1:57:30 I'm going to have to fix this. I won't I
1:57:32 won't take your
1:57:34 more of your time to do this. Anyway,
1:57:36 I'm happy with the opening.
1:57:41 [music]
1:57:48 [music]
1:57:53 >> [music]
1:58:01 >> Today we're looking at something a
1:58:03 little different. Okay. All right. I'm
1:58:05 going to have to go fix that. But
1:58:07 [clears throat and cough]
1:58:08 um let me be done. Let me be done now,
1:58:12 shall we?
1:58:16 [laughter]
1:58:20 Oh, there's always work to do. Anyway,
1:58:24 um
1:58:28 I hope you're all playing along, doing
1:58:29 your own thing.
1:58:31 Um
1:58:34 over the weekend,
1:58:38 I think I'd encourage you just to spend
1:58:40 some time thinking about what are the
1:58:43 what are the things you like and want to
1:58:46 do. just get in touch with who you are
1:58:48 and what you want to do. Um, and then
1:58:52 think about ways that you can use AI to
1:58:55 amplify that. And if you're already on
1:58:58 the path, great. Just, you know, keeping
1:59:01 in touch with it. And if you're not,
1:59:03 worry less about AI [clears throat]
1:59:05 skills and more about your creative
1:59:08 point of view because I think that's
1:59:09 going to get increasingly important
1:59:12 uh as uh
1:59:15 as this crazy world of ours uh does
1:59:19 whatever it's going to do in 2026. I
1:59:21 think it's going to be kind of bonkers.
1:59:23 So anyway, um cool. Anyone have any
1:59:26 questions, thoughts before I go?
1:59:29 [clears throat]
1:59:37 All right. Beautiful. Beautiful people.
1:59:40 All right. All right. Everyone have a
1:59:42 fantastic weekend. I will see you on
1:59:45 Monday. All right. Peace out.
