252. 50:32model and they want to make you know take back the lead keep the lead apparently they're ready to drop it at will
253. 50:41um this account ALS has also mentioned grock and perplexity and other llms improving dramatically this is the
254. 50:49biggest re reason for my prediction below um this is definitely related to qar so when when last Thursday when
255. 50:58strawberry Man created a bit a GitHub repository and put some python code in it it created a a strawberry out of asy
256. 51:07and there was a little qar that that went to the middle of the the little I don't know square of asky characters uh and then the Tweet above
257. 51:17mentions a new architecture so drum roll please my guess is that what's being announced is a standalone reasoning
258. 51:24engine open AI imple implementation of qar built in such a way that developers can easily use it to augment existing
259. 51:32models making them dramatically better so if this were just being en rolled out for um for cat GPT perplexity
260. 51:42wouldn't be being talked about grock wouldn't be being talked about when when Mr strawberry was initially talking

365. 1:10:14experienced how technology evolves um but it's going to get better and if the next step is reasoning so so here are the five levels
366. 1:10:25of AGI first one is chat Bots we've got that one second one is reasoning so it can look at what it wrote and say is this right is this good
367. 1:10:35did I hallucinate are there indeed two RS in Strawberry oops no there's three let me give the correct answer that's
368. 1:10:43reasoning so these things get they're already good right so you take an already good answer that's got some
369. 1:10:50issues with it it's got some grammar [ __ ] it's got some shitty writing in it and it's got some Hall ations in it and
370. 1:10:56you throw a reasoning engine on top of it all of a sudden that get that good answer turns to a great answer right and your hallucinations go
371. 1:11:07down like this the third level of AGI is Agents so not only can it generate the the goods reason to see if their answers are right
372. 1:11:22or Reason to figure out how to prompt like maybe you give the llm a shitty prompt and the first thing have you
373. 1:11:30noticed that what perplexity does they do they do a pretty cool reasoning thing when you type a query into perplexity it
374. 1:11:37actually gives you like a four or five step plan okay first I'm going to go to the web and I'm going to research this
375. 1:11:43then I'm going to try to understand the concept once I've gotten the then I'm going to so it's kind of writing this
376. 1:11:48reasoning so imagine that on steroids that's reasoning agents are when these tools can now go surf the web on
377. 1:11:58your behalf and take actions on your behalf so not only can they reason they can log into the project planning
378. 1:12:06software they can determine that we moved from stage one to stage two in the project that we're at and 22% of the
379. 1:12:15tasks have been completed in stage two and and now they're going to make a plan to go you know execute the rest of the
380. 1:12:24things in phase too that's agents it'll go book your travel is the classic one everyone says I want to go to Mexico
381. 1:12:32okay I know that you know Kyle's got a family and here's their preferences and here's where they've been and they don't
382. 1:12:38want to go anywhere they've been agents will go buy those tickets book that itinerary re reserve your reservations
383. 1:12:51right four and this gets back to um you know quality control is going to go down if you have these three quality
384. 1:13:01control is fine because these agents are going to make sure that shit's right because it's got an A reasoning engine
385. 1:13:06underneath it right so so all all of the control quality control stuff is going to be handled to some great degree the
386. 1:13:14fourth level of AGI is invention Innovation so not only is it doing the tasks it was assigned it's actually going hey

457. 1:26:30bit of an acceleration in how these models are improving um yeah it's crazy it's
458. 1:26:45crazy side hustle M me I'm really curious about building twins yeah building digital twins is a lot of fun
459. 1:26:52um here's what I I can tell you what I've learned so the basic way you do it is you figure out some data that represents
460. 1:27:01who you are and you use that as the as the training data for a GPT um and then you've got a thing that
461. 1:27:09will talk like you or think like you or you know write articles like you well what is that data is really critical
462. 1:27:22and you could take your LinkedIn profile data and put that in there and then it would know sort of what you did
463. 1:27:30professionally but that's not really who you are you could certainly take things that you've written that you're happy
464. 1:27:43with Excuse me and say you know this is my writing style so when you write I want you to write in my writing style that's sort of a digital
465. 1:27:52twin what we did at content Evolution was you know it's some really [ __ ] brilliant people in that organization um who've done all sorts of
466. 1:28:06you know work like this over the years but what what we what we ultimately came to is we realized that we didn't want to put historical
467. 1:28:16data into a digital twin That was supposed to represent someone today and so how do you how do you get more modern data so what
468. 1:28:26we did was we designed a a survey and it's like a 25 question survey so basically what we did was we
469. 1:28:35said to chat GPT help us come out with a a a framework for um creating a persona for for you know a series of questions that
470. 1:28:48would represent who a person is so what's their work back what's their personal background how do they solve
471. 1:28:56problems you know what's their worldview um uh I forget what some of the other ones were but anyway it doesn't matter I
472. 1:29:04mean we we Cindy [ __ ] who's maybe on the call tonight is expert at you know writing questions like this and so she
473. 1:29:12helped architect this thing and then we we generated a bunch of questions for it and then seven or eight of us on the
474. 1:29:19call we all just said oh there should be this one there should be that one well here's my favorite way to ask that thing
475. 1:29:25and so we just dialed in these questions and then for every person we wanted to make a digital twin for we did a video
476. 1:29:34call and one person would read the question and then the person would answer it on video not written because you may or may not know
477. 1:29:46this but how you write and how you talk are very different things so if we wanted to create a digital twin that had
478. 1:29:54the essence of how someone talked who they were then we want the training data set to be that and and the the people
479. 1:30:03that wrote their answers their their digital Twins were factually decent but they were not they didn't really sound like them which makes
480. 1:30:14sense I logged on to GPT 4 on a new phone and I got and Strawberry appeared

693. 2:12:45and it says are you closer or farther away and it's like okay you're closer so the Q the Q number goes up so so it's
694. 2:12:52just like if you've ever counted cards in Vegas where you've got you know with with uh with lower number cards they're
695. 2:13:02minus one and what is it tens are neutral and then or nines are neutral whatever the [ __ ] it is and then face
696. 2:13:08cards are positive and you're you're keeping a positive negative count count of the cards and then when the numbers
697. 2:13:15get to a certain threshold then you up your bet same same basic idea and so then this thing go takes a step forward

703. 2:14:00direction um I don't know exactly how that applies to large language models but I assume what it is is it looks at
704. 2:14:07your prompt and then it looks at the answer right um Target where we are and then it fixes it and then it goes Target where we are
705. 2:14:20fixes some more Target where we are fixes it some more Target where we are fix so does that make sense so it's a it's
706. 2:14:30a it's a it's a reasoning engine it's basically reasoning it's like is this better than based on what they asked for did I
