74. 15:00these YouTube videos where he's coding. And so I started watching him. I don't know, two years before I got into AI.
75. 15:08And he just codes. He codes like like he's breathing. It's just like he's just like, "Oh, I gotta do this." [clears throat] Um,
76. 15:20and it's just like his mastery of the craft is his coding is second nature to him. He's just he just thinks in it, right? and
77. 15:34and he debugs in real time and just crazy. Um, and and what strikes me as I'm as I'm sitting here is, you know, I'm now
78. 15:45I'm I'm now the author of a musical where I don't know musical theater well enough to write songs for it. And yet I
79. 15:52have um I don't know coding well enough to code [ __ ] Um, and yet today in an hour I built a website that I've been
80. 16:03avoiding for months because I'm like, I just don't feel like it and I got to learn. I got to be uncomfortable and and
81. 16:08so today I just sucked it up and it took me an hour. No, sorry. Took me an hour and 23 minutes. I started it at 4 p.m.
82. 16:16and at 5:23 I hit publish and I sent a note off to the people that I owed the website to. Uh, Megan, you're live and it's perfect
83. 16:26timing because I have a question for you, but I've never joined one of these before. Are they just o open questions
84. 16:32or do we have an agenda? [laughter] That's hilarious. Uh, they are just open. You [laughter] can you can ask me
85. 16:44anything. And in fact, one of the things that I think this channel is known for is well, first of all, I rarely finish a

96. 18:37journalist query services like Harrow and analyze them over time, is that possible? And what would be the best
97. 18:44service to use? For the record, an agenda would have [laughter] surprised me. Good. Um, I haven't built enough. I mean, what
98. 18:55you're talking about isn't necessarily an agent. It's It sounds more like an automation. Um, which which by the way um there
99. 19:09I think the most misunderstood word of 2025 is agent. It's the most overused, underunderstood, and not clearly defined word of 2025. How I
100. 19:25think of agent is an autonomous agent where you basically give it a goal and it just goes off and does [ __ ] for you
101. 19:32and comes back and checks in. Um, which is different than an automation which is a specific trigger. What you're
102. 19:39describing is more like an automation. So there are tools like make and n8 and um zapier and others um that do that. And so I
103. 19:53would say it's probably it would probably be relatively easy for you to figure it out with something like
104. 20:02Zapier. N8's a little bit it depends how hungry you are for geeking out. Um N8 is quite powerful but it requires it's just
105. 20:10a it's just a sort of geekier it's a geekier level. make is more visual um but it's it's not connected to
106. 20:19as many tools and Zapier is a little long in the tooth but it's connected to a lot of tools and they have added an AI layer
107. 20:28um [clears throat] oh yeah there's there's um within the AI salon so if you go to the salon.ai AI and join the community. This
108. 20:39past Saturday, Brent Peterson did a a 2hour what we call a law, a learn out loud on NADN and MCPS and and building
109. 20:51automations and things like that. You can go look at that. Um, that's that's my guess. But there are things like Gen Spark and Manis and um
110. 21:06the agent feature within chat GPT. And then there's a fourth one. Someone else has an agent. Oh, there's the perplexity browser.
111. 21:16There's comet. There's there's there's the browsers that have sort of agentic behavior within them now.
112. 21:23So, there are things you could try where you could just say, "Go do what you just said." Um, but it it sounds to me like
113. 21:30if if something comes to your email, that's called a trigger event, right? You can say if an email comes from
114. 21:36Harrow or or this, you know, company or that company and it has a query in it, you know, like this, then then trigger
115. 21:45this automation. And that automation would be capture what they're saying, throw it into a spreadsheet, send you something on Slack that
116. 21:53something came in, go and do some research, um, you know, write a potential response letter. Like that feels like an automation to me. So
117. 22:01that's where that's where I'd go with it. Um, but again, I'm not I have not been diving deep into the automation
118. 22:08world because it's um it feels like thankless work to me. And it also feels like um if I just wait long enough,
119. 22:19agents are going to be good enough to just do that [ __ ] [laughter] So, so back to not having an agenda.
120. 22:27Creating an automation is kind of like writing an agenda for me. [laughter] It's like at some point we'll get to all

128. 24:10that I created was write an Eminem cipher about quantum mechanics because I thought I thought when a large language
129. 24:21model could do sophisticated word play and talk about quantum mechanics in the same output, that would be pretty impressive. And it took
130. 24:34almost exactly two years for large language models to hit something that I considered that. Um, with vibe coding, I have a
131. 24:45similar [laughter] similar sort of prompt and it's it's actually a much more straightforward prompt. Um, but it's um, write me an
132. 24:53Asteroids clone, right? Like I my favorite video game, my first video game that I that I that I uh you know uh
133. 25:02bonded with as a child as a child in in junior high or whenever it was was Asteroids, right? 1979 or whatever it
134. 25:10was. Um and there was just something about the playability of it and the anxiety of it and that that little
135. 25:15[ __ ] UFO. Every time you'd hear that the UFO coming across you'd be like and you know there's [ __ ] asteroids, right?
136. 25:24Um, Tik Tok pin just gave a presentation tonight in Nashville on custom GPTs. Minds were blown. Good. Good. Kelly, I
137. 25:34you know, it used to be Kelly. I was like I was like, well, you don't want to blow people's minds too much. Now I'm
138. 25:39just like [ __ ] blow their minds because it's like like even if you're aware of this [ __ ] your mind's getting

143. 26:36and I said, "Make me an asteroid clone." Now, to be fair, I didn't just use a shitty prompt. I first this is this is a weird thing
144. 26:47when when we when we bond with our with our large language models. I don't know about you. I kind of like you bond with
145. 26:56them like they're they're your buddy. So So I was at Gemini in their vibe coding build section and I thought, "Oh, I want
146. 27:05to I want to describe Asteroids in a pretty detailed way." So I went to chat GPT. I realized I could have done it
147. 27:12right in Gemini, [laughter] but but I just have a habit of just going to chat GPT like I used to go to Google, right?
148. 27:18So I went to chat GPT and I said, you know, describe describe the video game Asteroids in as much detail as possible.
149. 27:24And it's so it did the sounds and the all the stuff. So I took that description and I went into um Gemini 3
150. 27:32into the the build module in Gemini and I said build it. And so what I'm about to show you is basically it. I did five
151. 27:40or six um prompts after the initial build to fix audio issues. Um and the the UFOs weren't flying all the way across the screen. They were
152. 27:51kind of coming on screen and then going off. Um so I fixed a couple of really minor things, but for the most part,
153. 27:57this is what came out. Am I Am I sharing? I am. Okay.
154. 28:32Oh jeez, this has gotten faster since this It might be my machine. I see that thing. [laughter]
155. 28:46Anyway, [laughter] um so so that is about as close, you know, to to a full-on Asteroids clone like and and
156. 29:03again, my day today started at 7 a.m. and I had backtoback meetings until 4. And so the two things that I built today, I built
157. 29:13in like 15minute little chunks when I did not have focus. Like I'm I'm like preparing for other things. I'm like,
158. 29:20let me just check this thing out. Um yeah, that was built in a studio.google.com using Gemini 3. Um so that was that one.
159. 29:30And then the other thing that I did today, so I'm I'm as many of you know or you might know, um I'm working on a book
160. 29:38um called 10person team. And if you go to 10personteam.com, 10 person team, not not teen. Um,
161. 29:53there's a website here for a weekly AI workshop that I'm launching the 1st of January and it's got all these characters in it
162. 30:02and it's got all this copy. So, um, and it's got a picture of me in a hip shirt cuz, you know, hip shirts is where it's at.
163. 30:13Standing in Central Park in that hip shirt. The story of this. So, if this looks familiar, [laughter]
164. 30:20there's there's another picture of me in a leather jacket that was just an AI generated thing. I said, "Put me in a
165. 30:26leather leather jacket like Jensen Huang." And uh and it did. And so, I showed it to my wife today and she goes,
166. 30:32"That doesn't look like you. That's not you. You don't wear leather jackets." So, I was like, "Okay, let me go get a
167. 30:38hip shirt." So, I went to the Robert Graham website and I found like a $400 shirt [laughter] and I grabbed the picture and I said,
168. 30:48"Switch the leather jacket out for this shirt." And it did. And then I said, "Put me in Central Park." So, this is a total fabrication.
169. 30:56[laughter] It doesn't even look like me, but that's okay. I look hip like here. Wait. [clears throat] [laughter] Um, but anyway,
170. 31:10this website, so we had the we had the copy. The copy was already written. Um, I had this graphic for the I had this
171. 31:17graphic for the for the book jacket for the this is for the electronic press kit, but whatever. That's the the book
172. 31:23cover. And then over the week, over this past weekend, I spent really refining these 10 characters that that are the 10
173. 31:32person team that I'm that I'm going to, you know, teach people how to build. And so I had the So I had the those characters
174. 31:40and then I said just I just uploaded them all to lovable. So this was lovable.dev and I said, "Turn this into a website."
175. 31:48And then I don't know, probably 20 or 30 prompts later, um I had this and and like it had here it had really generic
176. 31:58um generic kind of icons and I said, "Oh, I've got transparent versions of my characters." So I uploaded four of them
177. 32:06and I said, you know, pop those characters in here. And then there were probably five prompts that were just
178. 32:12changing the character sizes relative to to the text and changing the color of those cells. Um, but this is it. It's responsive. I can
179. 32:21make it skinnier and it like it works on mobile. It just stacks. Um, you can't I can't uh there's no there's no e-commerce in it right now.
180. 32:33Um, it it's Shopify is the only thing that's integrated into Lovable right now. So, um, I didn't put Stripe
181. 32:40payments or anything in it. So, you just sign up for it. But anyway, um you know, so so this was I started this at 4 PM.
182. 32:49So when my meetings ended, I'm like, I gotta probably let me just see what I can do on that website. And an hour and
183. 32:5423 minutes later, I was done. The other thing Lovable has is um I own the domain 10erson team and so I
184. 33:04clicked on publish and I and there's a button in there that says custom domain. And so I clicked on it and it said,
185. 33:10"What domain do you want to point this to?" And I put in 10personteam.com and it it said, "Okay, let me go
186. 33:16discover that." And it said, "Okay, you registered it with GoDaddy. Do you want me just to set it up for you?" And I
187. 33:22said, "Sure." And so it it just basically had me validate my GoDaddy account. And then it did all of the
188. 33:29configuration of the domain. So this is this went from not existing to being a fully published website in an hour and
189. 33:3623 minutes in between a bunch of other [ __ ] So anyway, cool, huh? Um, okay. So, what I figure we should do, what I
190. 33:50figure we should do, oh, and by the way, today is Lovable's um first year annivers one year anniversary. And today, [laughter]
191. 34:02this pisses me off. Okay, I'm I'm a lovable ambassador and I love them. I think they're great. I think it's it's
192. 34:08one of the better tools out there for people that don't know Vibe coding at all. Um, they hit $200 million in annual recurring revenue.
