14:55 self-driving

15:00 these YouTube videos where he's coding.
15:02 And so I started watching him. I don't
15:05 know, two years before I got into AI.
15:08 And he just codes. He codes like like
15:11 he's breathing. It's just like he's just
15:13 like, "Oh, I gotta do this."

15:20 and it's just like his mastery of the
15:23 craft is
15:27 his coding is second nature to him. He's
15:31 just he just thinks in it, right? and
15:34 and he debugs in real time and just
15:37 crazy. Um, and and what strikes me as
15:40 I'm as I'm sitting here is,
15:43 you know, I'm now
15:46 I'm I'm now the author of a musical
15:49 where I don't know musical theater well
15:51 enough to write songs for it. And yet I
15:53 have um I don't know coding well enough
15:57 to code [ __ ] Um, and yet today in an
16:01 hour I built a website that I've been
16:03 avoiding for months because I'm like, I
16:05 just don't feel like it and I got to
16:07 learn. I got to be uncomfortable and and
16:09 so today I just sucked it up and it took
16:11 me an hour. No, sorry. Took me an hour
16:14 and 23 minutes. I started it at 4 p.m.
16:17 and at 5:23 I hit publish and I sent a
16:20 note off to the people that I owed the
16:21 website to.

16:28 you, but I've never joined one of these

18:35 AI agent that could receive emails from
18:38 journalist query services like Harrow
18:41 and analyze them over time, is that
18:43 possible? And what would be the best
18:45 service to use? For the record, an
18:48 agenda would have [laughter] surprised

18:54 Um, I haven't built enough. I mean, what
18:55 you're talking about isn't necessarily
18:58 an agent. It's It sounds more like an
19:01 automation. Um, which which by the way
19:04 um there
19:10 I think the most
19:12 misunderstood word of 2025 is agent.
19:17 It's the most overused, underunderstood,
19:21 and
19:23 not clearly defined word of 2025. How I
19:26 think of agent is an autonomous agent
19:28 where you basically give it a goal and
19:30 it just goes off and does [ __ ] for you
19:33 and comes back and checks in. Um, which
19:36 is different than an automation which is
19:38 a specific trigger. What you're
19:39 describing is more like an automation.
19:42 So there are tools like make and n8
19:47 and um zapier
19:50 and others um that do that. And so I
19:54 would say it's probably
19:58 it would probably be relatively easy for
20:01 you to figure it out with something like
20:02 Zapier. N8's a little bit it depends how
20:04 hungry you are for geeking out. Um N8 is
20:08 quite powerful but it requires it's just
20:11 a it's just a sort of geekier
20:14 it's a geekier level. make is more
20:17 visual um but it's it's not connected to
20:20 as many tools and Zapier is a little
20:22 long in the tooth but it's connected to
20:24 a lot of tools and they have added an AI
20:26 layer
20:28 um [clears throat] oh yeah there's
20:30 there's um
20:35 within the AI salon so if you go to the
20:37 salon.ai AI and join the community. This
20:40 past Saturday, Brent Peterson did a a
20:44 2hour what we call a law, a learn out
20:47 loud on NADN and MCPS and and building
20:51 automations and things like that. You
20:53 can go look at that. Um, that's that's
20:56 my guess. But
20:59 there are things like Gen Spark and
21:02 Manis
21:03 and um
21:06 the agent feature within chat GPT. And
21:10 then there's a fourth one. Someone else
21:12 has an agent.
21:15 Oh, there's the perplexity browser.
21:17 There's comet. There's there's there's
21:19 the browsers that have sort of agentic
21:21 behavior within them now.
21:23 So, there are things you could try where
21:25 you could just say, "Go do what you just
21:28 said." Um, but it it sounds to me like
21:30 if if something comes to your email,
21:32 that's called a trigger event, right?
21:34 You can say if an email comes from
21:36 Harrow or or this, you know, company or
21:40 that company and it has a query in it,
21:43 you know, like this, then then trigger
21:46 this automation. And that automation
21:48 would be capture what they're saying,
21:49 throw it into a spreadsheet,
21:52 send you something on Slack that
21:53 something came in, go and do some
21:55 research, um, you know, write a
21:58 potential response letter. Like that
22:00 feels like an automation to me. So
22:01 that's where that's where I'd go with
22:02 it. Um, but again, I'm not I have not
22:06 been diving deep into the automation
22:08 world because it's um it feels like
22:13 thankless work to me. And it also feels
22:16 like um if I just wait long enough,
22:20 agents are going to be good enough to
22:22 just do that [ __ ] [laughter]
22:25 So, so back to not having an agenda.

24:27 same
24:29 output, that would be pretty impressive.
24:31 And it took
24:34 almost exactly two years for large
24:37 language models to hit something that I
24:39 considered
24:41 that. Um, with vibe coding, I have a
24:45 similar [laughter]
24:47 similar sort of prompt and it's it's
24:48 actually a much more straightforward
24:50 prompt. Um, but it's um, write me an
24:54 Asteroids clone, right? Like I my
24:56 favorite video game, my first video game
24:58 that I that I that I uh you know uh
25:03 bonded with as a child as a child in in
25:06 junior high or whenever it was was
25:08 Asteroids, right? 1979 or whatever it
25:10 was. Um and there was just something
25:12 about the playability of it and the
25:14 anxiety of it and that that little
25:16 [ __ ] UFO. Every time you'd hear that
25:19 the UFO coming across you'd be like and
25:22 you know there's [ __ ] asteroids,
25:23 right?
25:24 Um, Tik Tok pin just gave a presentation
25:27 tonight in Nashville on custom GPTs.

25:34 you know, it used to be Kelly. I was
25:36 like I was like, well, you don't want to
25:38 blow people's minds too much. Now I'm

26:22 the first thing I did was I went to AI

26:30 or maybe just AI studio.google
26:33 and um
26:36 and I said, "Make me an asteroid clone."
26:38 Now, to be fair, I didn't just use a
26:41 shitty prompt. I first this is this is a
26:45 weird thing
26:48 when when we when we bond with our with
26:51 our large language models. I don't know
26:53 about you. I kind of like you bond with
26:56 them like they're they're your buddy. So
26:59 So I was at Gemini in their vibe coding
27:03 build section and I thought, "Oh, I want
27:05 to I want to describe Asteroids in a
27:08 pretty detailed way." So I went to chat
27:10 GPT. I realized I could have done it
27:12 right in Gemini, [laughter] but but I
27:14 just have a habit of just going to chat
27:16 GPT like I used to go to Google, right?
27:18 So I went to chat GPT and I said, you
27:20 know, describe describe the video game
27:22 Asteroids in as much detail as possible.
27:24 And it's so it did the sounds and the
27:27 all the stuff. So I took that
27:29 description and I went into um Gemini 3
27:32 into the the build module in Gemini and
27:36 I said build it. And so what I'm about
27:38 to show you is basically it. I did five
27:40 or six um prompts after the initial
27:44 build to fix audio issues.
27:47 Um and the the UFOs weren't flying all
27:50 the way across the screen. They were
27:51 kind of coming on screen and then going
27:53 off. Um so I fixed a couple of really
27:56 minor things, but for the most part,
27:58 this is what came out. Am I Am I
28:01 sharing? I am. Okay.
28:32 Oh jeez, this has gotten faster since
28:34 this
28:36 It might be my machine.
28:41 I see that thing.

29:13 in like 15minute little chunks when I
29:17 did not have focus. Like I'm I'm like
29:19 preparing for other things. I'm like,
29:20 let me just check this thing out. Um
29:23 yeah, that was built in a
29:25 studio.google.com
29:26 using Gemini 3. Um so that was that one.
29:31 And then the other thing that I did
29:32 today, so I'm I'm as many of you know or
29:35 you might know, um I'm working on a book
29:39 um called 10person team.
29:42 And if you go to 10personteam.com,
29:47 10 person team, not not teen. Um,
29:54 there's a website here for a weekly AI
29:56 workshop that I'm launching the 1st of
29:58 January

30:02 and it's got all this copy. So, um, and
30:07 it's got a picture of me in a hip shirt
30:09 cuz, you know, hip shirts is where it's
30:12 at.
30:14 Standing in Central Park in that hip
30:16 shirt. The story of this. So, if this
30:18 looks familiar, [laughter]
30:21 there's there's another picture of me in
30:22 a leather jacket that was just an AI
30:25 generated thing. I said, "Put me in a
30:26 leather leather jacket like Jensen
30:28 Huang." And uh and it did. And so, I
30:31 showed it to my wife today and she goes,
30:32 "That doesn't look like you. That's not
30:34 you. You don't wear leather jackets."
30:36 So, I was like, "Okay, let me go get a
30:38 hip shirt." So, I went to the Robert
30:40 Graham website and I found like a $400
30:43 shirt [laughter]
30:45 and I grabbed the picture and I said,
30:48 "Switch the leather jacket out for this
30:50 shirt." And it did. And then I said,
30:52 "Put me in Central Park." So, this is a
30:54 total fabrication.

30:57 It doesn't even look like me, but that's
30:59 okay. I look hip like here. Wait.

31:11 this website, so we had the we had the
31:13 copy. The copy was already written. Um,
31:16 I had this graphic for the I had this
31:18 graphic for the for the book jacket for
31:20 the this is for the electronic press
31:22 kit, but whatever. That's the the book
31:24 cover. And then over the week, over this
31:26 past weekend, I spent really refining
31:30 these 10 characters that that are the 10
31:32 person team that I'm that I'm going to,
31:34 you know, teach people how to build. And
31:37 so I had the So I had the those
31:39 characters
31:41 and then I said just I just uploaded
31:43 them all to lovable. So this was
31:45 lovable.dev
31:46 and I said, "Turn this into a website."
31:48 And then I don't know, probably 20 or 30
31:51 prompts later, um I had this and and
31:55 like it had here it had really generic
31:59 um generic kind of icons and I said,
32:01 "Oh, I've got transparent versions of my
32:04 characters." So I uploaded four of them
32:06 and I said, you know, pop those
32:08 characters in here. And then there were
32:10 probably five prompts that were just
32:12 changing the character sizes relative to
32:14 to the text and changing the color of
32:16 those cells.
32:17 Um,
32:19 but this is it. It's responsive. I can
32:21 make it skinnier and it like it works on
32:24 mobile. It just stacks.
32:28 Um, you can't I can't uh there's no
32:31 there's no e-commerce in it right now.
32:34 Um, it it's Shopify is the only thing
32:37 that's integrated into Lovable right
32:38 now. So, um, I didn't put Stripe
32:41 payments or anything in it. So, you just
32:42 sign up for it. But anyway, um you know,
32:46 so so this was I started this at 4 PM.
32:49 So when my meetings ended, I'm like, I
32:51 gotta probably let me just see what I
32:52 can do on that website. And an hour and
32:54 23 minutes later, I was done. The other
32:57 thing Lovable has is um
33:01 I own the domain 10erson team and so I
33:04 clicked on publish and I and there's a
33:07 button in there that says custom domain.
33:09 And so I clicked on it and it said,
33:11 "What domain do you want to point this
