1:33:28 amazing she runs a group called she

1:33:32 the holidays called AI Festivus where we
1:33:36 brought together 34 speakers from four
1:33:38 different communities there were 24
1:33:41 sessions over two days it was 12 hours
1:33:43 each day because Anna and I know how to
1:33:45 make good life
1:33:47 decisions questionable questionable life
1:33:51 decisions um and uh no one is going away
1:33:54 thankfully Kyle set up the AI Salon yeah
1:33:56 exactly and and what was what was
1:33:58 amazing about AI festiv is to me was
1:34:00 that like it what it became clear to me
1:34:02 an is that even though there were kind
1:34:05 of these four different communities
1:34:06 represented and then really five when
1:34:08 when Sabrina Romanov came in and brought
1:34:10 her community in is that all these
1:34:13 communities had lots of overlap yes and
1:34:17 and I thought that was really quite
1:34:19 amazing and and you
1:34:21 know I just you know it going away for
1:34:25 us is Tik Tok going away is is really a
1:34:29 [ __ ] drag but we've we've we do have
1:34:32 these these other you know communities
1:34:34 where we can stay connected so and and
1:34:37 you know I've been spending the past two
1:34:38 months or so kind of D dual broadcasting
1:34:41 on you know lots lots of different
1:34:43 channels so so this this will go on but
1:34:47 there there was an intimacy and a and a
1:34:50 vibrancy when it was just sort of a pure
1:34:52 Tik Tok Channel to the to the chat and
1:34:55 all that sort of stuff and so yeah it is
1:34:57 it's really sad that's it's going away
1:34:59 it's really sad and it does point out
1:35:03 all the things that it ratifies all the
1:35:05 things that you've been saying and that
1:35:07 I you know I drank the Kool-Aid on how
1:35:11 critical it is to have Community yeah
1:35:13 like you know algorithm free community

1:38:05 talked about with communities is going
1:38:07 to be a little bit true with some of the
1:38:09 credentials it's or you know
1:38:11 certificates and um like other examples
1:38:14 of social proof it's going to be showing
1:38:16 that you hung out with other human
1:38:18 beings y it's not going to be as much
1:38:20 did you buy like a or did you like watch
1:38:23 a LinkedIn learning course and get a
1:38:27 little badge or whatever it's going to
1:38:30 be like who did you get to know during
1:38:33 the process and who would vouch for you
1:38:38 that you're not you know that you're
1:38:40 like a good person a real person a nice
1:38:43 person someone who we would want to
1:38:45 spend time with and do business with so
1:38:48 I'm excited that this training comes
1:38:51 along with two communities that we're
1:38:53 you know it's not even just a conference
1:38:55 like we are here we
1:38:57 exist if anyone wonders they can come
1:39:00 check us out and see if we're jerks yeah

1:39:05 we were talking today in in in another
1:39:07 one of my calls on on the content
1:39:09 Evolution call and and we're talking
1:39:11 about we we've put together some
1:39:13 programs we're talking about who do we

1:39:17 one of the things that we stumbled upon
1:39:19 or one of the things we hit on
1:39:22 was we we were talking about like
1:39:24 innovation groups within companies and
1:39:26 and we thought we thought well
1:39:28 innovation groups are good but like
1:39:30 innovation groups could be full of
1:39:31 people that are anti- AI right just
1:39:33 because it's Innovation doesn't mean
1:39:35 they're AI so what we talked about was
1:39:38 what if companies started creating AI
1:39:41 Salon like communities of the hyper
1:39:44 curious and Hyper adaptable right all
1:39:46 the weirdos that that are like just you
1:39:50 know always on the edges of stuff trying
1:39:52 new stuff out and and rather than than
1:39:55 it being about your role or your title
1:39:57 or your skills it's more about your
1:40:00 aptitude and so and as I was thinking
1:40:03 about that I'm like oh well what we're
1:40:05 looking for is people that have high AI
1:40:07 Readiness and I'm like oh we're doing
1:40:10 that training and it's like I could see
1:40:13 doing this training being something that
1:40:15 people could you know sort of put on
1:40:17 their LinkedIn or talk about within
1:40:19 their companies say Hey you know I'm
1:40:21 someone who who you should keep around
1:40:24 here you know Chris Chris vuno cuno on
1:40:27 here she survived a pretty major job cut
1:40:30 at her company because she was AI ready
1:40:34 like she's people know her for AI and
1:40:36 things like that and she survived it
1:40:37 because of that so you know anyway I'm
1:40:40 I'm super excited not only survived it
1:40:42 she's been she I mean look at where she
1:40:45 started like I don't know maybe even
1:40:48 like two years with beating the drum
1:40:51 kind of silently and then she came out
1:40:53 of the closet is AI Optimist and then
1:40:57 she kind of brought people along with
1:40:59 her little by little I mean it's a
1:41:00 perfect example of future proofing your
1:41:03 career yep yeah exactly you know and and
1:41:07 also like positioning yourself so that
1:41:09 you are the creme Del creme you can
1:41:11 survive in part because you can go work
1:41:13 somewhere [ __ ] else yep exactly you
1:41:16 know I teach I because of this this
1:41:18 opportunity I've had to work with all
1:41:20 these HR leaders I can't say it out loud
1:41:23 in the in the courses that I teach but
1:41:26 if they don't like where they're working
1:41:28 they can go work someone somewhere else
1:41:30 they have ai CR like they know how to do
1:41:32 all the things they know how to you know
1:41:35 lead change management they know how to
1:41:38 talk to vendors all this stuff if they
1:41:40 don't like where they're working go work
1:41:42 somewhere else yeah I yeah exactly it
1:41:45 makes you a lot more portable so that's
1:41:47 one thing I'm excited about the other
1:41:49 thing I'm excited about and we didn't
1:41:50 have a chance to talk about this the
1:41:52 other day but with Vicky's with what
1:41:55 Vicki's doing this thing is like so much
1:41:59 better than I could have possibly
1:42:01 imagined oh I had this designed in my
1:42:04 head and I was like I like I I I didn't
1:42:07 like what I had designed in my head but
1:42:09 I didn't want to admit that because you
1:42:11 know I'm a man and that's how we roll
1:42:13 and then and then Vicky put together
1:42:15 what she put together I'm like well yeah
1:42:16 of course that's of course it's
1:42:18 brilliant yeah like yeah that's how
1:42:20 that's what I was thinking definitely
1:42:21 you know trying to immediate take credit
1:42:24 for it but it's like it's really good
1:42:26 and it's what what's cool about what
1:42:27 Vicki put together and we'll have uh as
1:42:30 soon as we get it sort of solidified uh
1:42:32 an and I are going to put out you know
1:42:34 kind of marketing promos about what's
1:42:36 coming and what the curriculum looks
1:42:37 like but she she basically took the best
1:42:40 Concepts from a bunch of different
1:42:42 sessions and rolled them into these
1:42:44 different categories and so it I'm just
1:42:47 so excited about it like and like the
1:42:49 the concepts that got distilled out of
1:42:52 those two days are just I'm so it's just
1:42:55 like it's going to be so good for people
1:42:57 so EXC absolutely it's like like it's
1:43:00 it's it's super legit and like I don't
1:43:04 know if people want to hear us talk
1:43:05 about this [ __ ] but like we went from
1:43:09 thinking that it was just a kind of like
1:43:12 a cherry on top in a way of AI Festivus
1:43:16 to now it's like hey should we partner
1:43:19 up with some higher ed institution and
1:43:21 get continuing education credentials and
1:43:23 oh third-party credentialing approvers
1:43:26 and all this stuff so I think it's a
1:43:28 really neat model I'm I'm excited about
1:43:31 the fact that we've been able to really
1:43:34 leverage this incredible content that no
1:43:37 one else has ever no one no one has seen
1:43:40 stuff like this before um so it's yeah
1:43:44 it's GNA be dope I wanted to tell oh
1:43:47 wait oh a couple things um really
1:43:49 quickly I know it's Friday night date
1:43:50 night and I don't want to take away from
1:43:52 from the romance here but um uh a couple
1:43:56 of things that I had that I wanted to

1:44:05 about so I am working on a GPT and I
1:44:07 would love a custom GPT and I would love
1:44:09 to hear people in your community and

1:44:21 certifications that like I wouldn't take

1:44:32 know we have she leads Ai and we're
1:44:34 we're on Mighty networks and of course
1:44:36 we're still trying to figure it all out

1:44:40 these years and um one of the things I
1:44:43 found is that that we know we have lots
1:44:45 of neuros spicy people in our community
1:44:47 and you know as people start bubbling up
1:44:49 I start seeing these like oh we're
1:44:51 missing each other so folks here really
1:44:54 tell me what you think about this and
1:44:56 what I can put in it but I'm going to
1:44:58 make a signal booster custom GPT and I'm
1:45:02 going to try to destigmatize it within
1:45:04 the community and say hey if you're
1:45:06 talking about something where you're not
1:45:08 sure if you're making sense or if the
1:45:10 other person isn't making sense to you
1:45:12 run your DM through this GPT and then
1:45:16 stick it up there that's cool right and
1:45:20 then it'll also have question it'll also
1:45:23 prompts about how to ask for
1:45:25 clarification from somebody else in the
1:45:27 community so we don't have we all have
1:45:30 so many important things to say I know
1:45:32 some people don't post stuff on
1:45:35 communities because they worry that they
1:45:36 are not going to sound smart enough or
1:45:38 not going to sound whatever enough so
1:45:41 that's my
1:45:42 latest idea um about I'm just checking

1:45:51 that's a similar sort of thing so it

1:46:17 script analysis GPT and and I said oh
1:46:21 can you run my musical through your
1:46:22 script analysis GPT and you know give me
1:46:24 a report and he was like oh it's not
1:46:26 really like that it's like I've been
1:46:28 like you know doing calls with these
1:46:30 Hollywood guys for like an hour but I'll
1:46:32 do an hour with you and I'm like oh okay
1:46:34 cool so we get on the phone and what it
1:46:38 what it was was him using his GPT that
1:46:41 he created but working on my script and
1:46:44 then because he's got storytelling
1:46:46 expertise I got to just sit there and
1:46:49 like watch him sort of use the GPT and
1:46:52 spit out these ideas is and then he and
1:46:54 I would talk about it and and like the
1:46:57 experience was really powerful because
1:46:59 it wasn't just the
1:47:00 GPT and it he was augmenting the out so
1:47:05 so the output of the GPT was powerful
1:47:07 but like he was good enough at
1:47:08 storytelling that I'd go oh that's kind
1:47:10 of an interesting idea then he'd jump on
1:47:12 it and add on it and so it was this
1:47:14 really exciting conversation so maybe
1:47:18 you do some sessions within the
1:47:19 community and maybe you do them for both
1:47:21 she leads and for AI salon on where you
1:47:24 do a session where you you kind of bring
1:47:26 someone up on stage basically and you're
1:47:29 driving in the GPT yeah but you're
1:47:32 taking their posts and then you you're
1:47:34 both talking about it and everyone can
1:47:36 learn from that and then they can go use
1:47:37 the GPT oh my God I love it I love it
1:47:42 yes I mean it really is like having the
1:47:44 other PE the another expert in the room
1:47:46 for real more so
1:47:49 than it's like hybrid right it's like
1:47:51 how we're supposed to be able to work

1:48:48 level of expertise and comfort and then
1:48:50 the tech company takes them on for a six
1:48:53 project they pay them 75% of the salary
1:48:56 that they would make if they had that
1:48:58 job the candidate gets to test them out
1:49:01 they get to test the candidate out and
1:49:04 what I was told is that 75% of those
1:49:07 Partnerships end up in full-time
1:49:09 employment
1:49:11 interesting return ship so this is what
1:49:13 Intel told me this week when I was um
1:49:17 talking to them about I don't quite get
1:49:19 the name do you understand the name like
1:49:21 return from what I oh so it's a reaction
1:49:25 to to how many women left the workforce

1:49:29 covid oh oh got it okay oh so they're
1:49:32 saying okay so so you're gonna come back
1:49:34 into the workforce you're not quite sure
1:49:36 if you dig it you're not quite sure if
1:49:38 you're gonna dig us we'll try each other
1:49:39 on for six weeks on a project I think
1:49:41 it's I think it's [ __ ] brilliant and
1:49:43 I also I think if you come into one of
1:49:46 those return ships AI literate where
1:49:50 what you I'm saying yeah what you can do
1:49:52 in six week is what someone else would
1:49:54 come in and do in three or four months
1:49:57 right
1:49:58 all yeah exactly how could they not so
1:50:02 not think about all the people in the
1:50:05 salon like how many people do we have in
1:50:08 the salon and in she leads AI who could
1:50:11 go into one of these tomorrow and just
1:50:14 smoke it and if they wanted to work yep
1:50:19 they can go work well in fact you know
1:50:22 what it what it brings up for me is
1:50:24 maybe there's you know maybe there's
1:50:26 something we talk about with with
1:50:28 corporate sponsors about um you know if
1:50:32 you're if you're looking if you've got
1:50:34 one of these programs let us know and
1:50:37 we'll post them to AI Salon we'll post
1:50:39 them to she leads AI I love that yeah
1:50:42 like if it's a good opportunity and
1:50:44 they're going to treat people well and
1:50:46 we can be
1:50:48 matchmakers why not why not not that's
1:50:51 good for both both of our community
1:50:53 ities and and the the Greater Community
1:50:55 why don't you let's you and I talk
1:50:56 offline about that because okay because
1:50:58 I think we can probably you know there's
1:51:00 probably some stuff we can do with
1:51:01 people we know I can see that

1:51:51 realizing that so a feeling I have a
1:51:54 feeling someone's G to try to save the
1:51:56 day and take credit for it so we'll
1:51:58 see we will see it's it's sad for a
1:52:02 whole bunch of people who have made
1:52:05 their you know have been making a living
1:52:07 here for a long time yeah there's
1:52:09 businesses running on it and people who
1:52:10 have made it into a business and yeah
1:52:13 it's it's absolutely tragic so anyway

1:56:51 to the learning lab Channel find some
1:56:54 videos string them together and hit play
1:56:58 and then you can choose the level of
1:57:01 Engagement you would like
1:57:03 to step into I am perfectly fine if you
1:57:07 just walk away but I need the plays I
1:57:10 need the hours all right so please keep
