29:40 connection no data plan that can get

1:04:53 nearing the end but there there's a lot
1:04:55 of there's a lot of aspects to it that
1:04:57 are a little um cumbersome for

1:05:03 um but I don't want to change them um
1:05:06 and I've been working with Chachi GPT
1:05:09 and and llms and uh stable diffusion and
1:05:12 stuff for a while now and it kind of
1:05:14 clicked and I was like holy cow I can I
1:05:17 can totally
1:05:18 Implement a AI with my tabletop system
1:05:25 right my head went not only that um I
1:05:29 have this even loftier goal of basically
1:05:33 having imagine a bunch of tabletops um
1:05:37 all connected to a large meta
1:05:40 Universe um where the GP the gpts are
1:05:44 essentially
1:05:45 entities um different
1:05:47 characters um stores of knowledge things
1:05:51 like that um and the players using a
1:05:54 frontend web client you know would would
1:05:56 basically have all of their sheets
1:05:58 logged have all of their details all
1:06:00 that stuff all the campaign the GM would
1:06:02 be there um and things like like when a
1:06:05 GM makes a new item or Homebrew
1:06:07 something the llm can get involved
1:06:10 immediately and and basically recommend
1:06:12 like power levels and stuff to keep it
1:06:14 within the meta of the entire game um so
1:06:17 so basically there's a lot more and I
1:06:19 don't want to like you know explain it
1:06:21 all and waste your time um but um um
1:06:25 essentially what it is is it's a game
1:06:26 within a game uh a bunch of people
1:06:29 playing their tabletops connected to
1:06:31 like a social media hub that is
1:06:34 essentially GM to by an llm or several
1:06:37 llms Rags you know all these different
1:06:41 things that are coming out nowadays
1:06:44 um so I I guess like some of my my my
1:06:48 questioning is um I just like I just
1:06:52 recently paid chat GPT the $20 to
1:06:56 actually try the the preium stuff i'
1:06:58 I've mostly been doing a lot of image
1:07:00 work um I I just don't see it viable to
1:07:05 go through chat
1:07:07 GPT
1:07:09 um even with their AI or with their API
1:07:13 and all that stuff it doesn't make sense
1:07:15 to me from what I'm trying to
1:07:17 do um perspective functionality
1:07:21 perspective well from from a different
1:07:24 from a couple different perspectives one

1:07:26 censorship um like the tabletops can get
1:07:30 can get violent they can have sex they
1:07:32 you know there's stuff that and that
1:07:33 just chat GPT won't allow and I don't
1:07:35 want to to have to you

1:07:43 like it's bu it's almost like building a
1:07:46 company a business on another business
1:07:49 and if they yeah so I mean I've I've

1:07:55 the open source llms and stuff I just
1:07:57 didn't know if you had any um knowledge
1:08:00 or expertise in any of that
1:08:02 stuff I don't I don't know the open

1:08:06 explore the mixl 8X um yeah mix is one

1:08:14 because it's a mix of experts model

1:08:18 they're apparently getting good good

1:09:19 slms I don't know small language models
1:09:22 I don't know there's yeah I mean the the
1:09:25 idea of I don't know a ton about them
1:09:26 but the idea of small language models
1:09:28 like these little specialized models
1:09:29 that do different things that could be
1:09:30 interesting cuz you're you you're you're
1:09:33 having relatively small little knowledge
1:09:35 sets for each of the little you know
1:09:37 components of your game so that might be
1:09:39 might be something to look into where
1:09:40 you you custom train small language
1:09:43 models and the the other thing that
1:09:45 popped into my head is is completely
1:09:48 [ __ ] stupid and not viable as a
1:09:50 business tool but like the new rabbit R1
1:09:53 the handheld device you just push the
1:09:55 button talk to the large language model
1:09:58 there there's something about having you
1:10:00 know not not quite
1:10:03 this but but some sort of tabletop thing
1:10:06 where where like you know who whoever's
1:10:07 running the game could just hit it ask
1:10:09 at something and it's an oracle that
1:10:11 that talks so I don't know there might
1:10:13 be something to play with good idea I
1:10:14 didn't even think about that like a
1:10:15 physical yeah yeah I mean we phones and
1:10:18 stuff but it but but that's kind of the
1:10:20 thing of of tabletop is having that
1:10:21 physicality so it's yeah you te it to a
1:10:25 phone maybe it's a Bluetooth it's
1:10:26 basically just a Bluetooth speaker with
1:10:28 a button on it that that tethers to a
1:10:29 phone with a little app like you you
1:10:31 could do something pretty clever um for
1:10:34 probably not a lot of money
1:10:36 so okay um all right well I'll keep
1:10:39 watching and and and paying attention
1:10:41 it's it's so hard
1:10:43 to yeah I know it's it's impossible to
1:10:45 keep up with it just know that you can't
1:10:47 and I would say like don't wait for it
1:10:49 to be perfect build it build it
1:10:52 now build fast and just get it out there
1:10:55 what and what what I would also
1:10:57 encourage you to do even though you've
1:10:58 got 10 years into it there's there's a
1:11:00 local um company here in Denver called
1:11:06 crafty and they've been around for seven
1:11:08 or eight years and they were a training
1:11:10 company like training videos or
1:11:12 something like that and they were doing
1:11:16 like all the different um you know
1:11:19 business categories and all this sort of
1:11:21 [ __ ] and they've been in it for for a
1:11:24 while and one of the founders wives was
1:11:28 into
1:11:29 crafting and so they just put up some
1:11:32 crafting content and then like the next
1:11:35 week they looked at their stats and all
1:11:37 the other stats are just flat and
1:11:38 there's like there's one line that just
1:11:41 like lifted up off the page and it was
1:11:43 the crafting content they actually just
1:11:46 jettisoned their whole [ __ ] business
1:11:48 and said oh all that other stuff's
1:11:50 garbage we're doing crafting now so now
1:11:52 they're called craftsy and so I you know
1:11:55 I would say just get as much as you can
1:11:57 out there and because you can move so
1:11:59 fast with this AI stuff just pay
1:12:01 attention if something there takes off
1:12:03 you know try not to be too precious
1:12:05 about the decade you have invested in
1:12:07 your game and just let it Let It Go CU
1:12:09 because I think the opportunity over the
1:12:11 next 18 months to three years is is
1:12:13 going to be stupid so might as well just
