5. 1:08three times in a row did you really do that or is that just weirding out is Tik Tok weirding out oh I think it's just it's just

7. 1:33ah um do me a favor go ahead and share the uh share the live if you're willing we'll get some folks in here I on China how do you do what's
8. 1:47shaking eyeball ey on China seems like something we should be able to have fun with this image was cool so I created this image
9. 2:01in that new tool and up here was a bunch of text in the sky so I went into Photoshop generative fill and I made it
10. 2:08all blue and then I just selected that area right there and said cloud and it did it perfect and then I changed some text out
11. 2:18so that it looked a little bit more right wait here let me show you that stuff and then I added the
12. 2:35car which sort of looks like a 50s car this sort of looks like science fiction which is I think that's kind of
13. 2:45the thing with all these uh these AI tools is like everything sort of lives in this weird space between reality and
14. 2:52Science Fiction it's just like all these [Laughter] tools um so welcome everyone my name is Kyle Shannon this the AI learning lab uh
15. 3:03we'll talk about stuff and nonsense in here I'll act silly I or not sometimes lately I'm oscillating between I act like a
16. 3:13complete idiot or I act like I got a soap box and I'm just pontificating about the future of AI I I find myself a little insufferable
17. 3:27lately but but people seem to dig it they keep asking me questions that Tee me up to just go off on stuff and so so
18. 3:35listen you can ask anything like what's AI or you know you can ask me like technical questions which I won't answer
19. 3:42because I'm I'm not qualified to answer them or you can ask me questions like why are you even here who are
20. 3:48you um so yeah that's that um what else so I'll walk you through some uh how to get started so if you're you're
21. 3:59brand new to this AI stuff I'll sort of start out here we'll do a little primer on here's some tools that I think are

31. 6:13we've smacked the algorithm yet but you know what I'll do I'm going to hop over to to this little bad boy and we'll dig
32. 6:23in so if you're new to this generative AI stuff if you're if you're questioning your life decisions right now and
33. 6:30wondering why you're watching a 58-year-old guy on Tik Tok you've come to the right place this channel is all about questioning your life
34. 6:43decisions um but if people been telling you you got to get into this AI you got to do it listen listen listen Mavis
35. 6:54Mavis have you seen this AI stuff no I haven't you you need to to we all need to this is coming whether you want it or
36. 7:03not it's here whether we want it or not and it's not going away whether we want it to or not and so the first place to
37. 7:09start is just that top URL there chat. open.com that's the official chat jpt website it's the first it's the best
38. 7:18it's going it's in the middle of going multimodal right now which doesn't mean anything to you it doesn't matter just
39. 7:23go there and start asking it to do stuff have it write you a poem have it write you a project plan have it write you a
40. 7:29recipe uh ask it to create you a shopping list with some obscure items in it and make recipes out of that it can
41. 7:36do that um ask it to write you code any just go just go go there get the a nunery get the a nunery go start playing
42. 7:45right now um these other four now I I I graduated bing up to the adult table Bing was at the kids table for for a while welld
43. 7:57deserved um but Bing has has given us access to Dolly 3 before open AI did so um they have earned a right back at the adult
44. 8:06table all four of these I would say are worth your time to at least play with if you're going to only choose one do the
45. 8:14top one but if you're going to if you want to start exploring these and which things are better than others all four
46. 8:21of these are worth your time right now Bard is the weakest of these three but it's not going to be probably within a month
47. 8:30Google's going to release a thing called Gemini which is going to make that thing really really good so it's worth getting
48. 8:36your head around it now now they're all basically the same if you're if you're like but wait I got to learn four pieces
49. 8:41of software no they're all basically just like a Google search box and you ask it something and then it responds to
50. 8:48you and then you can talk to it and tell it to give you more and tell it to refine it um the thing at the bottom
51. 8:55prompt. chat will teach you how to talk to these things it's a little primer all right right so those those are the adult
52. 9:01table did you get my Instagram Mr Shannon sir I did not Clint I I don't check my Instagram all that much but I
53. 9:08will go do that for you can I do that here hang on let me go see if I've got it here on Ye Old iPad insta gr no I don't have it nah it's

55. 9:31with pi um if if you get their IOS app in particular um pi. a but if you just go to the Apple App Store search for pi personal
56. 9:42assistant it's from a company called inflection download that thing make an account and there's a little phone icon
57. 9:49in the search bar hit that little phone icon it'll put put it in voice mode and you can choose there's six voices you
58. 9:56can choose from but basically you can talk to a a chat GPT like thing that's connected to the internet we call it chatty
59. 10:03GPT um chat GPT has also launched that but I don't have access to it yet so I'm going to ignore it and pretend like
60. 10:10pretend like I do uh labs. perplexity doai is is uh they're hosting meta's llama models and then Po got a bunch of
61. 10:18Bots okay so those are the those are the large language models the image you want to go make pretty pictures play with these
62. 10:28four H thank you Winston I got my llama for the night very very nice I appreciate that um bing.com create that's the new
63. 10:41Dolly 3 it is remarkably good although it's not as good from a image quality standpoint as mid Journey mid journe is
64. 10:51better in terms of artistry but in terms of accuracy uh dolly3 bing.com /re is really really good it does text if you
65. 11:02give it 20 things to put in an image it will put 20 things in the image it's it's really quite remarkable what
66. 11:08they've figured out how to do with that thing ideogram used to be a big deal cuz it was the only thing that could do text
67. 11:16but now dolly3 can and I'm playing with something today I can't talk about that can make text as well so people are
68. 11:23figuring the text thing out and then the Adobe products firefly.com photoshop. adobe.com they they now Photoshop is on the web uh and
69. 11:34generative fill is is really good so those are the ones for images and then for uh moving pictures video video
70. 11:44translation 3D worlds and voice synthesis and animated avatars those four in a row Runway ml heyen video
71. 11:54translate is [ __ ] remarkable Skybox blad labs.com is cool um I don't find it particularly useful but if you want to
72. 12:03kind of get a glimpse into the future that one's worth looking at and then D- ID is pretty good it's kind of like

90. 15:29Phillips uh to create a workshop for her creative community so we're calling it AI Launchpad it launches um
91. 15:37Wednesday uh at 5:00 mountain time so it's 7:00 uh Eastern and it's three 2hour sessions a week apart so it's October
92. 15:494th October 11th and October 18th and so it starts this Wednesday and I worked on the the the deck and the
93. 16:00exercises all weekend and worked on them today I'm really excited about it it's going to be it's going to be a good one

131. 22:14learning for that long or even even tangentially you know there's a lot of people I know that have been in the in
132. 22:20the AI and machine learning business for a long time you know 10 years 15 years 20 years and some of them are little
133. 22:28bitter they're like we we've been talking about how cool this [ __ ] is for decades and now you all show up with
134. 22:35your chat GPT and you think this is [ __ ] cool yeah yeah you can make money with ch GP the era the the Baton has been passed
135. 22:47to the rest of us and that's kind of what this channel is about is kind of post the inflection point of November
136. 22:5630th 2022 the launch of chat GPT really did you know Mark an inflection point where before that you kind of had to be
137. 23:05a geek and an engineer and a mathematician and after that it's like hey how are we going to use this stuff
138. 23:10in our businesses right God we are such dorks we really are it's so true yeah I know but you're here so we're we're dorks together

147. 24:37pi AI today I did a uh I was talking to someone who's got a um tella Health thing for people managing diabetes and I
148. 24:48said oh you got to play with pi and so I made him download pi and they started talking to it and I asked I asked Pie
149. 24:55about their company cuz a six-year-old company so I figured it knew it and it knew their company and it gave their
150. 25:01whole Spiel they were like they they had their Kevin McAllister moments it's one of my favorite things in the world is
151. 25:08giving giving people their Kevin mallister moments um I really want to learn it from my real estate wholesale
152. 25:14business for lead gen so so lead gen um is going to require you to to probably have connection to the internet but you
153. 25:25could also use um Advanced Data analysis with chat GPT so let me let me quick you quickly show you the the uh the data
154. 25:35analysis stuff but I'll show you I'll show you something that you can do with it that I think is worth exploring
155. 25:44um so I'm going to flip to Advanced Data analysis and chat gbt so so this is chat gbt if you haven't seen it before the
156. 25:52plus here basically means I'm shelling out 20 bucks a month for this it should give me access to the new features but
157. 25:59it hasn't because as everyone here knows Sam alman's really jealous of me and he won't he won't give it to me cuz he's
158. 26:05just he's holding out because he's just it's a jealousy thing I I don't mind he's the fact that he's a bit small man
159. 26:13it doesn't it like it's fine it's fine I really do respect him um I don't know Sam mman by the way in
160. 26:22case that wasn't patently obvious but I am such a good actor I might have fooled a few of you um oh that's Al my version
161. 26:28of Comedy is is things that aren't funny uh so to get Advanced Data analysis you pay your 20 bucks a month and then you
162. 26:37actually have to enable this in your settings there's a thing called beta features you have to turn on but anyway
163. 26:42what this does is it it it puts this little plus button here and that means you can upload a file so I think the last time I did this we
164. 26:55grabbed um crap one was com consumer complaints I think one was real estate data let me grab archive 11 but this is
165. 27:04so so what I've got here is um a zip file that contains some CSV file so what I'm going to do open this ZIP file and examine the
166. 27:20CSV inside and tell me what it is and what might be interesting about the data so what Advanced Data analysis does
167. 27:34is it creates a container which is just a computer term for for it's it's kind of running inside your
168. 27:43browser um or it might be running in the cloud it doesn't matter but it's it's kind of running like a little instance
169. 27:48of a computer where it can run it can write and execute its own code so I told it to unzip that file and and if you
170. 27:57look at this little white box here you can expand this and it Imports some libraries and then um writes its own
171. 28:05python code executes it and then goes and looks at the CSV file and you know it's writing more code for that oh this is the consumer
172. 28:17complaints one um so it's going and looking at what's what's in the file
173. 28:32so this is consumer complaints all right let me see I'm going to do a new chat here and I'm going to grab archive 12
174. 28:40because I think that one might be real estate data but but the the point I'm I'm getting at here is if you've got data of
175. 28:51either houses on the market or prospective customers or you said you're wholesaling like I don't quite know know
176. 28:58what data you've got but if you you get your hands on data then you can do what I'm doing here open this up and tell me what's in
177. 29:09the CSV files inside the zip and then you can just start asking it to analyze the data so so particularly if you know real estate and
178. 29:20you know that whatever the the rental rate divided by the you know last s Thing by the interest rate gives
179. 29:30you whatever you can just tell it to go find you all the properties that you know look positive you know from a cash
180. 29:37flow standpoint based on whatever criteria you tell it and it it will analyze the data for the most part and
181. 29:43go do that it will clean up data if the data is not clean um you can have it export its own um uh you can you can have it create and
182. 29:55export new new files so you can have it clean clean up all the data reorganize it and Export that as a new file like a
183. 30:01new Excel file or CSV file yeah this is realtor data.zip so now it's going to yeah now it's looking at what's in there so it
184. 30:15says the status of the property number of bedrooms bath acre lot so we haven't even done anything yet
185. 30:29and this is remarkable is it not I mean just within chat GPT go open that zip file and read what's in the CSV and tell
186. 30:38me about it would you like more information on it or specific analysis so yeah I'm going to say what what did that person say he was
187. 30:46a wholesale real estate person so I don't know what the hell that means I have a friend who's in wholesale
188. 30:55real estate and he has asked me if I could figure out how to analyze which properties are the best ones to invest
189. 31:03in period is there data within here that can help you oops that can help you analyze that data and make
190. 31:15recommendations of properties my friend should buy all right let's see what it says certainly I still here it looked
191. 31:25like Tik Tok just glitched bad can you still hear me [Music] hello um tap the tap the screen if you can still hear me am I here am I
192. 31:44here all right I'm getting some hearty Hearts I guess I'm still here um well but what I was saying is I know nothing about this kind of
193. 31:59real estate investing and so not only can it do the analysis of this file but it can actually teach me how to how to
194. 32:06ask it what to do so certainly okay so price location size condition to make recommendations we can perform the
195. 32:14following price analysis size analysis bedroom analysis based on these analyses would you like me to proceed
196. 32:23I'm just going to say sounds great okay so now let's Let It Go off and do its thing and so again what this is doing
197. 32:34is it sort of prompted itself you know based on my goal to help my wholesale friend figure some [ __ ] out and it's
198. 32:45going to go to these three analyses so it's kind of prompting itself here for each analysis we list the top properties
199. 32:52that fit the criteria let's start with price analysis let's go open this up and look at what it's doing so median prices so it's sorting
200. 33:04them by cityan Price DF price wait if I can't quite see what's it say merge the median prices filter the properties that are priced
201. 33:16below the median so get rid of them so so it's sort of figuring out its own Logic for how to how to make this data why are there
202. 33:27zeros for for the prices here and it looks like it's it looks like it it's gone it's gone off the rails here CU When it writes red code
203. 33:41like that I think it I don't know what's going on there and it's very very slow tonight so it's probably because Silver Fox got
204. 33:51all the new features and she's she's off using her new toys and choking chat GPT can't work anyway um oh there it's doing
205. 34:04something properties with a price of zero might be data errors let's proceed with size analysis uh uh uh so I I I won't continue on this but
206. 34:16basically this is what you can do um go into chat GPT pay your 20 bucks go find your data upload it into Advanced Data
207. 34:23analysis and just start asking questions like this I'm telling you within an hour or two the other thing you can ask it to
208. 34:30do is you can ask it to visualize the data so um it works for me about 50% of the time but I also don't know what I'm
209. 34:37doing I'm just kind of randomly telling it to make pretty charts and graphs and then sometimes it just they're bad data
210. 34:44post subscription has chat GPT and Cloud 100K for 1667 USD monthly same as purchasing separately um it's a good question Nicholas I
211. 35:06personally I wouldn't pay the money to PO although that said I do but but the only reason I haven't um
212. 35:17I haven't turned off that subscription is because I have ADD and I can never remember to turn off subscriptions I
213. 35:24start I'm like a I'm like a sub subcription marketer dream uh cuz I don't I don't believe in buying yearly
214. 35:31subscriptions on any of this crap right now but uh but yeah um all right let's let's go every damn
215. 35:45time what the [Laughter] turtles we like turtles we like toles how do you use Dolly 3 from chat
216. 36:01GPT I don't know cuz Sam Altman won't give me my features you know did you know that as they're rolling out these
217. 36:11new features and chat GPT it's Sam Alman who's personally rolling them out person by person and I what I heard on Twitter
218. 36:20was he got to my name he skipped over it and he's going all the way to the bottom of his list and then he's going going to
219. 36:27come back to the top and get anyone he missed that's the list I'm on the missed list you'd think having technology like
220. 36:35chat GPT they could get it to do just sign people up but now Sam's doing it one person at a time because he
221. 36:43cares but not about me all right someone remind me where I go to get plugins for chat gbt I'll remind you
222. 36:53um okay so to get plugins chat GPT plus you got to go there then you go to your uh settings so go to settings and beta
223. 37:06and then under beta features you'll see plugins Advanced Data analysis and if you're like silver fox you'll also
224. 37:14probably see browse with Bing they brought that back they also have this thing um where it's multimodal and could
225. 37:22read images and you can upload images I don't have any of that [ __ ] but I do have plugins so you have to turn them on
226. 37:30so this is the secret why they buried this I do not know I don't like it I don't like it I got some ice cream and
227. 37:39you can hand your mom's on Ware okay um and then you go to plugins and then how you use plugins is the first thing you
228. 37:48have to do is go get them so at the bottom of I have a list cuz I've installed some there's this thing called
229. 37:54the plug-in store so you go there and like here's popular ones and you know you can scroll through those or you can
230. 38:01look at all of them and there are now 246 pages of four each so however many that is like 900 or so and then
231. 38:15um how you use them is you have this little pull down menu and anything that you've installed has a little checkbox
232. 38:24beside it in any given chat section you can activate up to three of them so let me see there's some in here
233. 38:34that are kind of fun let me I'll I'll do a fun one here so I'm going to turn on instacart and then I'm going to come
234. 38:40down here and I'm going to go um I want to create a shopping list for my family based on recipes
235. 38:58that include turtle soup and pot roast you can make up the rest let's see what it
236. 39:13does not very inspired tonight except I did want turtle soup one pound of turtle meat when I was a kid I used to I used
237. 39:23to set uh I used to fish for snapping tur and we'd sell them to restaurants those are some evil evil evil beasts pot roast all
238. 39:37right so there's two would you like to create a shopping list for these um I'll just say yes so it wrote us the recipes and now
239. 39:48it's going to fire off the instacart plugin and it's going to generate me a shopping list and I could have that

412. 1:10:52behind chat GPT was one of those and open AI invented chat GPT or not chat GPT they invented gpt1 gpt2 which was
413. 1:11:02the first one that shed started showing signs of interest and intelligence so 2017 they invent this thing 2019 there's
414. 1:11:10gpt2 2020 is gpt3 gpt3 is the one that actually made some news and then in the fall of 2022 um Microsoft and openi are working
415. 1:11:27together and Microsoft is about to make an announcement that they've invested a billion dollars in chat GPT or into uh open
416. 1:11:37Ai and Sam Alman the guy I've been making fun of all night says to his Engineers hey Microsoft's about to make this big
417. 1:11:46announcement we don't really have anything we can point the public to to show them what we do can you just whip
418. 1:11:51up a little chat GPT you got two two weeks so they whipped up chat GPT in 2 weeks now inside the documentation of
419. 1:12:02gpt3 were the instructions for how to build chat GPT and it it had been out for like two years nobody built it
420. 1:12:09nobody built it so Sam mman said go build that thing we told everyone they should build he built it they launched
421. 1:12:16it it got to a million users within 5 days it got to 100 million users within 6 weeks it was the fastest adoption of
422. 1:12:24software in history 100 million users in 6 weeks on a janky ass piece of software that was written in two weeks okay that Domino changed
423. 1:12:38everything Google invented the Transformer and certainly could have been leading this charge and I think kind of mothballed it because they
424. 1:12:47probably recognized that if they create a technology that just answers people's questions that's going to be bad for search their
425. 1:12:57entire business is based on getting people to do this a lot click click click click let me click to a website

427. 1:13:10what's the answer to this and it goes here's your answer and that not good so they had kind of backed out of the
428. 1:13:18game Microsoft makes this announcement of a billion dooll investment you know this thing gets to 100 million
429. 1:13:26people in 6 weeks Microsoft then sometime in that kind of first month goes from $1 billion investment to A10 billion investment so Microsoft
430. 1:13:36basically guarantees that chat PT is not going away that open AI is here to stay and they basically committed to Rolling
431. 1:13:44chat EPT across their entire product line Microsoft has Revenue other than advertising Revenue right they've got
432. 1:13:52software sales and operating system sales and cloud services they have a bunch of services that they can monetize
433. 1:13:59so they can give away this really expensive thing called chat GPT um because they're going to make money on their
434. 1:14:07software so because of that popularity everyone panicked Google panicked um Facebook meta panicked um Apple hasn't panicked but
435. 1:14:18they they up their research budget in 2023 to 22 .4 billion most of that's in generative AI um you've got companies like like uh
436. 1:14:32inflection raised $1.3 billion um anthropic Amazon a week ago invested up to $4 billion in anthropic that's
437. 1:14:44claw. so so you've got all of the major players then you've got Elon Musk freaked out and said everybody should
438. 1:14:50stop doing AI research while he was ordering 10,000 gpus and he started x. um so he's building a thing so you've
439. 1:14:58got all of the major players right now investing not Millions not hundreds of millions billions of dollars in all of
440. 1:15:07these competing tracks and and they're they're it's it's all accelerating and coming at us really fast and what that
441. 1:15:13did is it it made the entire developer Community turn away from blockchain and nfts to AI so you got the entire
442. 1:15:22developer community the entire investment Community all of big Tech all of them pushing in the same direction
443. 1:15:29with AI so it's not going anywhere then you've got a month ago Google announ or launched duet which is their barred

595. 1:41:08job and a custom cover letter per hiring manager and got and and got a job like he got he got three three appointments

641. 1:48:25says sure here's your tracking number all of that's within a chat GPT like interface or it's an agent that I'm
642. 1:48:32interacting with I never had to go to the website so I don't I I think we might have llmo which is large language model
643. 1:48:48optimization which is how how do you get in that [ __ ] conversation if if if the end user is having a tomato
644. 1:48:57conversation how do you get in that conversation and to the extent that Microsoft or Google or Apple or or
645. 1:49:06anyone pollutes the llms answer with too much injected [ __ ] people won't trust it and they they'll stop using it right there's too
646. 1:49:18much competition right now there's not a consolidation so so just like Google when it when it unseed Alta Vista had to
647. 1:49:28be better at search and then as it got bigger and bigger and bigger it didn't have to be better at search anymore it had to be better at
648. 1:49:35manipulating people to use their service more and more and more and more so now that's at threat because of this stuff
649. 1:49:43but I just I do not I don't see a clear future where SEO stays the same now does it mean it goes away I don't think it
650. 1:49:51means it goes away and I I think it's probably going to take a lot of years for that transition to happen

664. 1:51:53we're in we're in that stage where it's just like white pages with blue hyperlinks and it's it's the the tools
665. 1:51:59are very very raw right now as these tools get more sophisticated and they get autonomous where they can take
666. 1:52:05actions and they can do things for you like if you play with pi um the pi chat app where you can talk to chat GPT
667. 1:52:15essentially a chat GPT like thing um right now you can tell it hey would you email me that and it'll say sure I'll
668. 1:52:27email you that and then you're like where's my email it's like I'm sorry I'm a large language model I can't email
669. 1:52:33anything it's not that's not going to be like that for long so so everything's going to start to get connected to
670. 1:52:40everything else and and these things that we interact with and talk to are going to take actions on our
671. 1:52:46behalf and they're going to go out and get us the information we need and bring it back to us in this hyper personalized
672. 1:52:53way where's the website in that I could choose to go to a website right so I think websites will still
673. 1:53:06remain kind of like plays still remain right why is Broadway there because the experience of going to a play is
674. 1:53:17different than the experience of going to a movie it's just kind of a niche kind of thing now you can't not as many
675. 1:53:24people can go to a play because you can't stick actors in a film re container and ship it across the country right now it's all digital
676. 1:53:35anyway so we still have plays but they're kind of this quaint remnant of another age and I think that's what websites will be a
677. 1:53:46quaint remnant of another age and we're just going to live in this increasingly Dynamic personalized world that centers
678. 1:53:59around what each of us like social first content websites become the terms of service of [Laughter] digital yeah yeah exactly that's the
679. 1:54:12resource you go to to to learn all the [ __ ] right yeah that's interesting I think the future is Darkness because if
680. 1:54:19AI will get Consciousness it won't need a human um that's that's a point of view um I think that the what what's called

685. 1:55:09our Humanity like especially here in the states we've we've really gotten to a place where um we're not very nice to each other
686. 1:55:22and it's very unnecessary and I think there's a Poss I I think there's a future there's an there's another possibility where it's not a
687. 1:55:31future of Darkness it's a future of reconnection and reinvention and that's the one I'm committed to living in
