4. 0:54Good people. Welcome to the AI Learning Lab preview show. >> [music] >> Tonight we're going to be demoing Fable. Fable is uh
5. 1:04Anthropic's latest model. Supposed to be amazing. We'll be playing with that tonight. >> [music] >> And I don't see anyone in here. We got
6. 1:14some people in here. >> [music] >> Yeah, we're going to be playing with Fable. Fable's going to be fantastic.
7. 1:30I hear it's really good. >> [music] >> They made it nice and safe. So that uh you know, hackers hackers can't hack anything.
8. 1:40And uh I hear it makes like tic-tac-toe games really easy. So we're going to be playing with that. Um really excited about trying Fable
9. 1:50tonight. Yeah, it's going to be good. If you didn't know, Fable was the the safe version of Mythos, which was this crazy
10. 1:59dangerous model. Everyone was hacking everything and they got all the money. Remember they took all the trillions and
11. 2:05they put it in their pocket and then So, this is the one that we get to play with that I'm It what? They
12. 2:20They >> [laughter] >> No, it's I mean we're going to play with it tonight. We're going to play with it on the They they shut it down. Um
13. 2:30Yeah. So, anyway, Fable was this awesome model that you could have done such cool things with. [music]
14. 2:38And uh yeah, we can't have that anymore. So, tonight uh we're going to be playing this So, there's this new software called Microsoft Excel.
15. 2:49And what it is is it's It's funny, it's in the name of the software is is cell, right? So, it's Excel. It's like lots of cells.
16. 2:58And in each one of those cells, you can put um like a like you could type letters or you could type numbers and like
17. 3:07sometimes if you type numbers, but it's like there's in the cells it's it's like dollars, you can you can change the
18. 3:13format of that cell to be dollar signs and it'll add the the decimals. So, that's we cuz we're not Fable's right out Yeah, so
19. 3:24we'll be we'll be demoing um I think they call it spreadsheet software. And uh we'll be doing that tonight. So,
20. 3:31that's going to be pretty exciting. That's going to be pretty exciting and uh What else they There's this uh there's
21. 3:39this new This one's AI-powered. There's this AI-powered tool called Grammarly. And what it You can probably tell by the name.
22. 3:47If you're really bad at grammar and you know, some people are good with words, other people not as good, right? And so if you're not
23. 4:01a smith of the words, then you write badly, and then you hit the button, and Grammarly will fix it. It's like we're living in the future.

32. 5:19They said Amazon outed their their Amazon's the big investor in Anthropic. >> [music] >> And there was a story going around for a
33. 5:29while that they're the ones that actually jailbroke >> [music] >> Fable, and then reported it to the government, which makes no sense.
34. 5:39The games have truly begun, indeed, Valerie. The games have truly begun. AI summary. An AI show discussing AI
35. 5:49tools like FABLE AND GRAMMARLY. YOU YOU MEAN AS IN FABLE IS not available Fable? That's the one we're going to be playing with, Silver Fox.
36. 6:03All the people were predicting, "Oh, it'll be back by Monday." I'm like, "No, not the way it went out."

38. 6:33know if it's rumors, reporting, whatever. Is that apparently someone on the >> [music] >> So, you know when when Mythos came out and then
39. 6:47they said, "We're just going to give it to these trusted people to like go patch all the holes." Well, one of the stories is [music]
40. 6:56one of those trusted people was actually a Chinese operative and gave access to someone for some I don't know. >> [music]
41. 7:07>> They didn't say which Monday. Yeah. >> [music] >> Um so, here's what's going on this week. So,
42. 7:21the um I'm traveling this week. And it looks like Wednesday I'm not going to be able to do this and Friday
43. 7:28I'm probably just going to be getting back at the house. I'm probably not going to be getting back to my house until
44. 7:34like 9:00 my time, which is normally when we end. So, tonight's going to be the only night we'll do the live. So,
45. 7:41I'm going to probably do a little bit of demo, a little bit of talking. There's not really much to talk about with with Fable
46. 7:48other than we don't have it and there's all sorts of [ __ ] speculation about what happened and when it's coming back. Nobody knows.
47. 7:56Apparently they sent some engineers to Washington. So, so we'll play with some stuff tonight. I'll talk a little bit about
48. 8:03loops. I I also want to show you something that I built maybe we'll do a little experimenting with Codex.

60. 10:16AI's too dangerous to release. And then he wrote a big letter that said, "You should regulate us and you should slow us down." And then uh

83. 14:52>> You know what's funny about it is that in a lot of ways it's actually a very small film. It's not it's got some big moments in it.

86. 15:38Encounters and with ET was Like he got us to feel
87. 15:54Like in ET especially, you you know, you you felt for ET. And in Close Encounters, it was about Dreyfuss, but it was about
88. 16:04you know, this thing that was coming, this thing that was here. And this was a film really about all of us.
89. 16:22And actually what's coming. And I And I think what's coming with AI. So, we'll talk about all that stuff. We'll talk about all that stuff.
