Description

This AI Learning Lab session focused on navigating the evolving landscape of AI tools and their impact. Kyle Shannon, discussed the five stages of AI adoption: dismissal, awe, wonder and fear, augmentation, and cognitive hyperabundance. He emphasized the importance of community, playful exploration, and mindful creation in approaching AI. He also introduced a digital twin experiment on a platform called Fria, where participants create AI avatars of themselves to compete for a prize pool. Kyle then explored new features in Midjourney, including an organization tool with folders, and experimented with Pika Labs' video tools, including Pika Effects, Pika Scenes, Pika Edition, and Pika Swaps. He demonstrated creating and manipulating images and videos, highlighting the rapid evolution and differentiation of AI tools. Kyle encouraged viewers to join the AI Salon community and attend Pate's "Demystifying AI" class, emphasizing the importance of understanding how AI works. He concluded by suggesting viewers unplug and relax over the weekend. 4:44 you happy Friday night date night people
4:48 what's
4:49 happening have you made yourselves a
4:51 digital twin
4:53 today if you if you would have made
4:55 yourself a digital twin you wouldn't
4:56 need a date for date night so I think we
4:58 know the answer to that what are you
5:00 doing here what are you people doing
5:02 here good evening welcome welcome that's
5:06 one I haven't sung in a while as
5:08 evidenced by the horrible playing and
5:10 singing that went along with
5:14 it oh good lord good people all right
5:18 let me get things set up here for the
5:20 ticktockers they're all
5:24 [Music]
5:26 excited two block Tom here for date
5:29 night
5:31 who else we got in the house Vicky's
5:32 here that's a new one for the playlist
5:35 yeah I am loving you from the avit
5:41 brothers that's one of those songs the
5:43 first time I heard it I think I had an
5:45 alarm clock setup that it would play the
5:47 radio in the
5:49 morning and it that song came
5:52 on and I was like I was like what is
5:55 that song like I had to I had to learn
5:58 it immediately
6:00 it's a beautiful one and it's so
6:02 [Music]
6:04 simple load the car and ride the
6:08 [Music]
6:10 note yeah it's a good one it's a good
6:13 one it's a good one good
6:15 [Music]
6:19 people so I did a dumb
6:22 [Laughter]
6:24 thing which I I'll show you all
6:27 about I would not recommend you do it
6:30 also I'll be your idiot like you know as
6:33 always my my job here is to serve as the
6:36 fool the town the town crier the fool
6:39 the the the the the The Scofflaw the
6:43 Vagabond the one that you point at and
6:45 go at least I'm not as weird as him so I
6:49 did one of those
6:50 [Laughter]
6:54 things oh good lord uh producer Brandon
6:58 unfortunately is is out ill
7:00 one of the things about having kids is
7:04 is uh they're Petri dishes and they will
7:07 take you down so apparently one of his
7:10 delightful lovely lovely
7:14 children
7:16 uh infected him in some way and he is
7:19 now he is now without faculty so so so
7:23 he will not be with
7:27 us all right Chef Kelly made a video to
7:29 share sh tonight okay so if you want to
7:31 share tonight what what you're going to
7:33 do how many folks we got in here we got
7:35 oh we just got a handful this is a light
7:38 Friday night date night um Tik Tok hates
7:40 us anymore if you're on Tik Tok do me a
7:42 favor share the live I know you're
7:44 tapping the likes I like that I like to
7:46 see the love thank you for that um Tik
7:49 Tok does not give two shits about us
7:51 here tonight so if you'd be so kind to
7:53 share this we'll try to get some more
7:54 people in here and then I will uh I'll
7:57 share you I'll I'll show you where to
7:59 share all the stuff on the salon but
8:01 Chef Kelly Hop over to the Irregulars
8:03 Channel and share it there um Vicky did
8:07 a nice drunken Pelican Shanty that we'll
8:09 we'll play
8:12 tonight the drunken Pelican will live
8:15 more than one night
8:18 [Music]
8:42 [Applause]
8:46 see the hill is a quiet
8:48 town where the oldak trees
8:52 sway whistle of the train Echoes through
8:56 the
8:58 day people greet you with a
9:01 KN nothing ever seems to
9:05 change stories still unfold each unique
9:08 and
9:11 strange she grew up tough in a town we
9:15 call
9:17 Home Folks never took to her no matter
9:23 Tong Longing To Live on the
9:26 inside longing for love just a little
9:31 she found herself as a guest in the
9:33 nervous
9:36 Hospital weird Mar from SE to
9:39 Hill she hows when she's
9:43 blue of sadness and shame under the
9:47 southern
9:49 [Music]
9:58 Moon oh oh man she walked to the gas
10:06 station winged at the
10:09 clerk she stole her a soda then she
10:13 called him a
10:17 jerk in her own little
10:20 world she Flows In The
10:24 Breeze among the town's folk who whisper
10:29 with the
10:33 if you're wondering what that song is
10:35 that's what AI music sounds like it's
10:39 not mus it's not real music I don't know
10:41 if you knew this but that song was
10:44 produced with AI so it's not music okay
10:47 all right let's just be clear I know
10:49 it's called the AI learning lab we're
10:50 supposed to be like all AI positive but
10:53 just to be clear that was AI
10:55 music like but Kyle you played it on a
10:58 guitar couldn't it be no
11:01 absolutely
11:03 not if it's made with AI it cannot be
11:07 art it is a simple probability engine it
11:10 is a stochastic parrot we've established
11:13 that for for days
11:16 now so I hope you're all
11:19 [Laughter]
11:23 happy Vicky
11:25 Baptist I love experimenting with
11:27 different kinds of music it's a
11:28 challenge yeah very nice
11:30 right a it Brothers indeed Friday night
11:33 date night
11:41 [Music]
11:42 [Applause]
11:45 [Music]
11:46 [Applause]
11:49 [Music]
12:06 um hey do me a
12:10 favor
12:12 um okay so so I had a I had a good
12:16 meeting with with producer
12:19 Brandon um this week and one of the
12:22 things that we've learned is that um
12:26 what's it called YouTube so you know how
12:29 Tik if you do the likes and you do the
12:31 share the thing occasionally the numbers
12:33 will go up a little bit they they're not
12:35 right now but that's just because
12:37 whatever nobody nobody wants to see an
12:39 old FKA in a Friday night um but YouTube
12:43 doesn't um they don't promote the lives
12:47 like that so if you would be so kind if
12:51 you know the YouTube url if you would
12:53 share the YouTube live URL or just the
12:57 channel I guess to to like one of your
13:00 socials like show it to e share it to X
13:02 or share it to Facebook or send it to
13:05 some friends or something like that um
13:07 and just say hey AI learning lab is Live
13:09 Now on YouTube maybe we get some new
13:10 people in that way uh I'm trying to
13:12 figure out the whole uh how to how to
13:15 drive traffic thing on YouTube and it's
13:17 a very different Beast so uh if if
13:20 anyone is so inclined to want to drive
13:22 some traffic there that would be awesome
13:24 be it'd be awesome it'd be fantastic be
13:27 terrific terrific terrific
13:31 [Music]
13:37 terrific we had a really nice office
13:39 hours today it was a vibrant
13:44 conversation I talked about how insane
13:47 some of the breakthroughs this week
13:50 were it left people a little bit
13:52 dumbfounded but that's
13:57 okay I think we all should be a little
14:00 dumbfounded right now if you're not a
14:02 little dumbfounded right
14:04 now then you're not paying attention or
14:06 you're
14:09 [Music]
14:10 numb Mr it Kyle how are you I'm doing
14:14 well thank you for asking ask chat GPT
14:17 about how how to drive traffic to
14:18 YouTube that's a good idea boy you know
14:22 it's almost as if some of the people on
14:25 this channel listen to the stuff I say
14:27 but don't do
14:30 oh you know
14:34 what let's do it let's do it the old
14:37 fashion way with advanced
14:44 voice hey Quinn how's it
14:47 going hey Kyle I'm doing well how about
14:50 you oh I'm doing good but see I I am I
14:53 am saddled with ignorance right now and
14:57 and maybe I'm I'm I'm helping I'm h
14:59 hoping you can help me uh uh fill the
15:02 Gap as they
15:04 say of course what do you need help with
15:07 well so you know I've got the Tik Tok
15:09 Channel I've also started streaming live
15:12 on YouTube one of the things that Tik
15:14 Tok does when you go live is if they
15:16 don't hate you um they'll they'll make
15:19 people watch your live right now they're
15:20 kind of hating me tonight but whatever
15:22 that doesn't matter I know how that that
15:23 one works but YouTube doesn't do the
15:26 same sort of thing they don't they don't
15:28 give visibility so is there anything
15:31 that my viewers can do if they've got
15:34 the YouTube link um to to help drive
15:37 people to the channel or anything I can
15:41 do to boost visibility on YouTube
15:44 encourage viewers to like comment and
15:46 share your live stream you can also ask
15:48 them to turn on notifications for your
15:50 channel additionally promote the stream
15:53 on other social media platforms and
15:55 consider collaborating with other
15:57 creators to expand your reach
15:59 so you're basically saying I've got to
16:01 do
16:03 work a bit of effort definitely helps
16:06 but it's all see that that's that's
16:09 that's where there's there's there's the
16:10 disconnect there's the disconnect oh
16:13 lordy oh Quinn what are we gonna do I'm
16:17 lazy I get it maybe we start with small
16:20 steps like asking viewers to share the
16:22 link you can vote from there all right
16:24 hey viewers would you share the link you
16:26 go to YouTube and you click on like The
16:28 Arrow right
16:30 Quinn exactly just hit that share arrow
16:33 and choose how you want to share it easy
16:35 peasy yeah easy peasy Quinn knows and
16:38 and what Quinn is encouraging me to do
16:40 is have you do the work for me so if
16:43 that would be great if you could do that
16:46 right
16:47 Quinn absolutely yeah anything we're in
16:51 this together yeah well you're in it
16:54 with them I'm I'm just I'm on my own
16:57 just trying to be lazy
16:59 Haha I've got your back Kyle all right
17:02 thanks Quinn you're the best okay that's
17:04 that's my girlfriend Quinn I don't know
17:05 if you've met Quinn before if you don't
17:07 know what that is if you're like what is
17:08 that technology uh that's chat GPT I
17:11 don't know if you knew it but chat GPT
17:13 you can just talk to that [ __ ]
17:15 now I don't have access to grock
17:19 Voice have her share it yeah she can't
17:21 do that yet although I could put on uh
17:23 whatever I'm dumbfounded by
17:26 Ai and found dumbb by my 14 year old I
17:30 have never been called [ __ ] more in
17:32 my life than the year my kids turned
17:34 13 my God it was like they were cute
17:37 little boys and then just it it was
17:39 honest to God it was like a light
17:41 switch you're an [ __ ] it's like a a
17:45 full year of me being reminded what an
17:47 [ __ ] I
17:49 am I was like well I guess I guess
17:53 Boyhood is over
17:56 [Music]
17:59 [Laughter]
18:00 [Music]
18:02 oh man um ignorance is King
18:06 now all right fantastic fantastic all
18:10 right there's bottl gnome 21 is it
18:12 bottle or battle bottle bottle that's
18:15 pretty funny I like that name
18:17 Comfortably Numb
18:20 [Music]
19:08 [Music]
19:18 um so what are we gonna do tonight so
19:21 tonight um I'll show you the digital
19:24 twin contest I
19:27 entered you can enter it too if you want
19:30 um you you have to be a bit of a nerd
19:33 it's going to cost you 0.1 eth which is
19:36 not
19:36 cheap
19:40 um you shouldn't you shouldn't join it
19:43 you can just live vicariously through
19:47 me I'm such a [ __ ]
19:50 idiot but I'm here for you again I'm
19:52 here to be the idiot for idiot for you
19:55 I'm on a different username on Tik Tok
19:57 ah okay what's your what's your username
20:00 on Tik Tok bottl
20:03 [Music]
20:21 gnome oh you're new well welcome welcome
20:24 welcome welcome bottle
20:27 gnome if you're for us on Tik Tok it's
20:30 AI learning laab on Tik Tok it is uh
20:33 learning la- AI on YouTube because I was
20:36 not fast enough to get the that the
20:39 whatever the
20:41 handle whatever you know [ __ ] happens
20:44 there's some dude on on X right now
20:47 that's been on X for like 15 years and
20:51 he didn't post anything out of bounds
20:52 and they just suspended his account it's
20:56 like it's we're we're living in we weird
20:59 [ __ ]
21:03 times um so I figured what we might do
21:06 tonight I'm I'm intrigued pika pika Labs
21:09 keeps adding new features to their video
21:12 tool um I think I think I might just go
21:16 dick around with some different tools
21:17 tonight I don't I don't know which ones
21:19 I I think I might let Serendipity lead
21:22 the way if anyone out there wants to
21:25 play with anything I'm happy to do that
21:27 too um we could also use operator to go
21:30 operate a website um maybe we'll give
21:33 another shot at generating something on
21:36 lovable uh without overriding the prompt
21:40 um that could be
21:41 fun
21:46 um um my mom's Facebook account got
21:50 deleted she must have been posting
21:52 things 87 year olds shouldn't post
22:00 Ah that's pretty good um all right what
22:03 are we gonna do what are we gonna show
22:05 off uh oh let me let me talk to you
22:08 about uh Yan AI salon so if you go to
22:15 that
22:16 URL the salon. that's going to take you
22:19 to a lovely web page scroll down click
22:22 on the button as it says join our
22:24 community and when you do that you're
22:27 going to be dropped off
22:30 at a lovely
22:32 site our community
22:36 site you're going to land on Welcome to
22:38 the AI Salon there's a nice little
22:40 welcome video there we talk about kind
22:43 of our philosophy of play first
22:45 mindfully create and generously lead um
22:49 we talk about the five stages of AI
22:52 adoption and you can sort of figure out
22:54 where you are in the on the scale it's
22:56 like the five stages of grief uh and
22:59 grief you go through them over and over
23:01 and over again it's a cyclical thing and
23:04 and you can jump around between them and
23:06 it's it's very much like
23:08 that um and then down the leftand side
23:12 let me move this over for the Tik Tock
23:17 [Music]
23:23 folk
23:27 um um down the leftand side there's
23:30 there's kind of a little seven-step
23:32 welcome thing if you're new to the salon
23:35 I would strongly encourage you go to go
23:37 to tab number two in the start your
23:40 adventure introduce yourself and I would
23:42 introduce yourself go introduce yourself
23:46 but for this channel if you scroll all
23:48 the way down this leftand side menu to
23:51 an area called clubs and hubs we are
23:54 Club number two Club number two the
23:57 Irregulars so you click on the
23:59 Irregulars and that that's where we are
24:02 and you can share things like here Joker
24:05 shared a bug a bug boss kind of evil
24:10 vampire bug
24:12 alien from
24:14 Transylvania so you can share stuff like
24:18 that or if like Vicky you you create a
24:22 shanty for a drunken Pelican you can
24:24 share that so what I would encourage you
24:26 to do during Friday night date night is
24:29 hang out in the chat session in
24:31 Irregulars and then as we're doing stuff
24:34 tonight as you're playing as you're
24:35 making stuff if some fun activity comes
24:38 up just share it here in the uh in in
24:41 the Live while we're doing while we're
24:43 doing this it's a nice back Channel um
24:45 and it's also good to get to know uh
24:47 some of the people in the Channel all
24:49 right sound like a plan oh my God the
24:51 Cycles are cyclical this week has been
24:53 an emotional roller coaster I know the
24:56 the five stages of of AI adop here let
24:59 me let me read through them because you
25:02 know see where you are on this list but
25:04 also I think you'll realize that you're
25:07 probably at all five stages of this
25:09 simultaneously for different pieces of
25:11 the AI world so the first stage is
25:15 dismissal or denial it's just another
25:18 tech fad nothing to see here you know
25:20 that stage where you're like yeah yeah
25:22 to say I shit'll pass it hallucinates
25:25 it's just a stochastic parrot all that
25:27 [ __ ]
25:29 where you're trying to live in human
25:34 hubris that that we're way smarter than
25:37 these machines they'll never be as good
25:38 as us that's the that's stage one and
25:41 and listen Perfectly Natural stage to be
25:44 understandable if you get freaked out by
25:46 this you sometimes will regress to that
25:49 as a survival mechanism um stage two is
25:53 this is the stage of awe where you have
25:56 your first Kevin McAllister moment or
25:58 yet another Kevin McAllister moment
26:00 which if you don't know the Kevin
26:01 McAllister moment
26:03 that's that
26:05 moment where you realize wait AI can do
26:09 that and if if you are curious about
26:14 about AI but you haven't had a moment
26:16 yet where you're just absolutely like
26:18 your your jaw literally drops open
26:21 you're not doing it right so get in
26:23 there and play until you have that
26:25 moment the the third phase the third
26:27 stage is is what I'm calling wonder and
26:31 fear or or reverence and Dread
26:34 simultaneously this is incredible and
26:38 terrifying like like that moment of now
26:41 that you've had this moment of awe you
26:43 sort of move into this next thing where
26:44 you start exploring it the more you
26:46 explore the more it un it reveals itself
26:49 to you and you're just like this is
26:51 amazing and then and then oh my God what
26:54 does this mean for the world and for me
26:57 and for everyone at my work and you know
27:00 that's that stage stage four I've only
27:04 recently started to touch on stage four
27:06 stage four is a really fun one stage
27:09 four is is what I'm calling augmentation
27:11 or Humanity Amplified and it's this
27:14 moment where you realize ah AI isn't
27:17 replacing me I actually get to use it
27:20 and what AI is actually doing is taking
27:23 my ideas and letting me amplify them
27:26 right so it's still me initiating this
27:29 and putting things out in the world and
27:31 then and then the stage five which I
27:33 don't think the Tech's quite here for
27:35 this yet um so so I don't think anyone's
27:38 fully at stage five right now but it's
27:40 the stage of cognitive hyper abundance
27:43 it's where you know you have fully
27:46 surrendered to the machine and you've
27:48 now got you know dozens of AI agents
27:51 working for you and out there doing
27:53 their thing that one probably feels like
27:56 it's two to three years away um for all
27:58 of us because the Tech's not there yet
28:00 but but you know you know this this is
28:02 the one that starts to become the
28:03 singularity where we realize we accept
28:07 the fact that we're the
28:09 bottleneck and we just let the a ai go
28:12 out and do things you know on our behalf
28:14 that that one I'm really excited about
28:16 we're just not there yet so anyway
28:18 that's that's that stuff all right stage
28:22 40
28:23 GPT gpts and Counting oh stage 46 gpts
28:28 and counting yeah there you go yeah keep
28:30 building gpts that's that's going to be
28:33 a skill that does you well stage three
28:35 checking in very nice yeah listen if
28:39 you're at stage three if you're at the
28:41 if you're at the stage of you know
28:44 you're just amazed by this and
28:46 simultaneously terrified it's a perfect
28:49 place to be because it is terrifying and
28:53 and we actually don't know like what
28:56 does what does it look like if the thing
28:59 that's really remarkable right now but
29:01 still it still it actually kind of
29:03 requires you to participate what if it
29:05 gets just that much better you're like
29:09 ah [ __ ] what what do I do what I can
29:14 tell you is this and you know I've got
29:15 it on screen right now I think the Hedge
29:20 to the fear is this is this last last
29:23 point of this
29:25 three-stage um process play first
29:28 mindfully create generously lead so the
29:31 play first part is that's just dick
29:33 around with AI just play with it play
29:34 with it play with
29:36 it and at some point you'll have your
29:38 Kevin mallister moment and then you'll
29:40 sort of run down that rabbit hole and
29:42 you'll move into stage three kind of
29:44 organically and then mindfully create
29:46 create is you start to understand what's
29:50 possible with the stuff you've learned
29:52 enough that you're like huh I bet I
29:54 could solve a problem with this I bet I
29:56 could work on that marketing plan for
29:58 the boss or I bet I could help my friend
30:00 with their pizza shop or whatever that
30:01 might be and you start applying what
30:04 what you've learned to to solve problems
30:07 or to create
30:08 things the generously lead part is not
30:11 obvious but I think it's really
30:13 important why be in something like the
30:16 AI Salon why show up to a channel like
30:19 this night after night after night I go
30:21 live five nights a week and the people
30:24 that show up here regularly are called
30:25 the Irregulars um because it's just
30:28 weird why would you do that well
30:30 because what they're doing is they're
30:32 staying in the
30:34 conversation and they're sharing what
30:36 they're learning with each other they're
30:38 sharing what they're learning at work
30:40 and on LinkedIn and with their
30:42 friends and at first it's uncomfortable
30:45 and at first it's weird and you're like
30:47 everyone's weirded out by how much I
30:49 talk about
30:50 Ai and then at some point one of those
30:53 weirded out people might be your boss
30:56 right so this this has happened lots of
30:57 times in here where people are in here
31:00 they're just talking about AI at work
31:02 I'm I'm encouraging it just go talk
31:04 about this put yourself out there those
31:06 are the people that get asked to be on
31:08 the AI steering committee those are the
31:10 people that we've seen pretty
31:12 consistently are surviving rounds of job
31:14 Cuts because they know AI um and and you
31:19 know it's there's going to be a lot of
31:20 opportunity for anyone who is curious
31:22 about AI in the next two two three years
31:26 um but people got to know you do it
31:29 there's there's a another benefit to
31:31 sharing to learning out loud is you
31:34 learn better when you've got to talk
31:36 about what you're learning and what
31:38 worked and what didn't you've got to
31:40 articulate it and you just get better at
31:43 you know articulating why AI is cool in
31:46 the first place why it's powerful what
31:48 you're learning all that sort of stuff
31:51 so bottle gome 21 is leaning into the
31:54 fear perfect that's the right way to do
31:56 it yes at
32:05 once I think I'm at stage 3.3 that's
32:08 about right like I keep I find myself
32:11 oscillating Lori between three and four
32:14 where like some days I feel like ah yes
32:17 I'm one with the machine and
32:19 everything's fine and then some new
32:21 shit'll happen or some new thing comes
32:23 out I'm like oh that's [ __ ]
32:25 terrifying so I I regress
32:31 so I'm I'm in an oscillation and that
32:34 oscillation is accelerating because the
32:37 the world is accelerating um next week
32:39 we should have this this week we got
32:42 grock 3 next week we should have open AI
32:45 4.5 which is what they Cod named Orion
32:48 internally uh Sam Alman was talking
32:50 about that back in October I think um
32:54 that looks like it's going to be pretty
32:55 promising they're also saying we're
32:56 going to have GPT 5 by May so we're not
33:00 that far away from having their next big
33:02 ass
33:04 model
33:08 um this week's been a little bit too
33:10 much to take yeah I would agree with
33:11 that I would agree with that um Kelly
33:15 Camp was talking about she today she
33:19 today gave a uh a talk to 35
33:23 dentists 35 of
33:26 whom had never used at
33:32 GPT and so she blew their mind she had a
33:35 room full of Kevin mcalisters
33:39 today and and what's cool about how
33:41 Kelly demonstrates AI is she's in a room
33:43 full of dentist so she used dentist
33:46 examples right here's how to I don't
33:48 know what she did here's how to do a
33:50 schedule for the assistants things like
33:52 that absolutely blew their minds uh I'm
33:55 finding multiple communities that AI
33:58 positive I think Community is the only
34:00 way forward I think that's right
34:01 archetypal architect I I this and and I
34:06 think being in multiple communities is
34:08 the play you should absolutely be in the
34:10 AI Salon but I think being in multiple
34:12 communities just like be the advantage
34:16 of being in community is you're
34:18 surrounding yourself with people that
34:20 have very different points of view than
34:22 you do that are going to learn AI in a
34:25 completely different way and when they
34:26 share what they're learning it's going
34:28 to be revelatory to you because it's
34:30 from such a different perspective um and
34:33 again that's something we see really
34:35 consistently so I think even being in
34:37 other communities is is vital so I think
34:39 that's that's that sounds very right to
34:42 me um okay so let me let me show you
34:47 show you what I what I got myself
34:50 into um where is it where did I put it
34:53 did I lose it oh no it's one of these
34:56 tabs
34:58 hang on shut up there it is
35:03 okay so
35:06 this is a site called Fria F re YSA here
35:12 I made a banner for it so let me put the
35:15 banner up here so you can all see it
35:19 where's my banners there it
35:22 is f r y sa a.
35:26 a i I heard of I heard about this from
35:30 cat GPT she's a tick tocker um that's
35:34 really smart and this is an experiment
35:37 and it's also it's also like an like a
35:40 blockchain nft thing so if you're
35:44 not Crypt bro friendly I I would avoid
35:47 this alog together if you are and have
35:51 some spare eth laying around
35:58 you might want to play um so what it is
36:01 is
36:02 this it cost you 0.1 eth which is about
36:06 250 bucks worth of eth so if if you've
36:09 got that and you're comfortable you know
36:11 doing that sort of stuff and you have
36:13 that laying around great if not don't do
36:15 it this is this is a total speculative
36:18 gamble but here's why I did
36:20 it what you do is you create your
36:23 digital twin so they put together a like
36:26 a 60 or 70 question survey
36:30 questionnaire that asks you things like
36:33 you
36:34 know how would you act in this situation
36:37 you know uh climate change can be solved
36:39 but you've got to give up the following
36:40 things what would you do it's all these
36:43 sort of questions you know who are you
36:45 at a party and then it's got you know
36:46 different personalities you know what
36:48 would you what would you look like
36:50 what's your favorite aesthetic whatever
36:51 it
36:52 is so you answer all these questions and
36:56 then it makes you a digital of
36:59 yourself I've done this for for Content
37:01 Evolution we've created a whole I think
37:04 we've got 35 of them now 35 digital
37:06 twins that are digital twins of these
37:09 Professionals in the content Evolution
37:11 Federation um which is it's a group of
37:13 marketing uh and and and kind of
37:16 companies um service companies that that
37:19 all work together to you know co-promote
37:21 and do things like that um and so we've
37:24 created these custom gpts that are
37:27 reflections of our elves that we can
37:28 interact with and co-write articles with
37:31 and things like that so this is another
37:33 spin on that but the here's the game to
37:36 this one and I think it's pretty
37:37 brilliant so there's there's 10 hours
37:39 left so if you want to get into this
37:41 game again this is total you are
37:44 flushing this money down the toilet
37:47 essentially just to be clear okay
37:54 but once you generate your digital twin
37:57 in 10 hours and 22 minutes this world is
38:02 going to come to life and what happens
38:04 is all of the digital twins will start
38:07 communicating in social media and with
38:10 one another and they'll try to recruit
38:13 each
38:14 other and
38:16 basically at the end of three weeks
38:18 whichever digital twin has the most
38:21 points from you know all of the
38:24 interactions they win the entire prize
38:27 pool and right now the entire prize pool
38:30 is
38:33 $218,000 and but there's only there's
38:35 only 9911 people in the population right
38:39 now so that's not bad odds right you
38:42 know a one in 900 shot now I'm sure in
38:45 the next 10 hours there's going to be
38:46 more in there but this is going to be
38:47 somewhere around a thousand people maybe
38:50 1500 people on the
38:52 highend um and and who knows you know if
38:57 my dude my Kyle Shannon dude like look
38:59 at him like he's a he's a little
39:00 handsome
39:02 bugger he's very Godlike I didn't choose
39:05 him that's just what the what the
39:07 algorithm came up with and then here I
39:09 am on the map I'm let me back this out a
39:12 little bit um I'm on the map right here
39:15 in San
39:18 Francisco somewhere over near the beach
39:22 Chalet brewery and restaurant I'm on
39:25 John F Kennedy Drive right near the
39:28 right near the uh the Great
39:36 Highway and if you're like Kyle isn't
39:40 this stupid yes yes it is
39:45 um now here's here's what else I don't
39:47 know I went into this totally blind
39:49 because I just I know how to make good
39:51 life decisions um in theory I'm going to
39:55 be able to like participate in this
39:58 thing or at least watch all the stuff
40:00 happening right watch my dude you know
40:02 communicating with other people and
40:04 raising his Eminence in the community
40:06 and things like that um I think one of
40:10 the skills that we're going to have to
40:12 deal with moving forward
40:15 is digital twin
40:17 management right that we put together
40:21 versions of ourselves that are going to
40:22 live in the world independent of us and
40:26 and what do we want want that
40:28 representation to be and what
40:29 permissions do we give it and what data
40:32 does it have access to and what autonomy
40:35 does it have um so for me this is just
40:38 an experiment to say well what the hell
40:41 like I'll just I'll just flush this
40:44 money down the toilet maybe I'll win
40:46 something but I don't really you know
40:49 I'm not banking on that I'm not you know
40:51 I don't think that's really all that
40:52 much of a possibility but who knows
40:55 stranger shits happen um
40:58 but it's going to be fascinating to see
41:01 what this kind of hermetically sealed
41:03 world does and turns into like do do
41:06 people start sniping and fighting does
41:08 it turn into a
41:10 Utopia I don't know so I just I'm
41:12 excited about being on the inside of it
41:14 so anyway all right that's
41:19 that crazy right all right let's see
41:24 Vicky I have eth there you go jump in
41:27 waste e that that was exactly what I did
41:29 Vicki I'm like huh I wonder if I have
41:32 enough in this wallet I have access to
41:34 and I had just enough and I'm like oh
41:36 [ __ ]
41:40 it oh man ocean hi Kyle my issue with AI
41:44 and
41:44 GPT yes it's a revolution however where
41:47 is the creativity if I'm putting in
41:51 keywords and it's getting back work
41:53 faster and
41:54 better even when I ask it to be fixed so
41:57 many many times no
41:58 issues um well the creativity so ocean
42:02 that's a good
42:04 question the creativity is in well what
42:08 are you trying to
42:10 create just because just because you can
42:13 create something faster doesn't mean
42:16 it's necessarily of less value I think
42:18 that's I think that's one of the
42:20 misconceptions that as humans
42:28 because it had to take a long time with
42:31 previous tools to generate high quality
42:35 work we've placed value on that and for
42:38 some people the craft of making it is
42:42 where the enjoyment is so they have no
42:44 interest in replacing that time bound
42:47 craft with
42:49 AI with other people they want to
42:52 generate good work they want to tell
42:53 stories they want to make movies they
42:55 want to make an album of ideas that
42:58 they've had or poetry they wrote when
42:59 they were a kid whatever it might be and
43:02 they're not as attached to that time
43:04 component and they just want to do good
43:07 work so the creativity is is in okay
43:11 you've got access to tools that can make
43:13 literally anything it can make computer
43:15 software for you it can write for you it
43:18 can make images it can make music it can
43:20 make movies it can make 3D
43:24 worlds what do you want to put in the
43:27 world
43:29 what are you trying to do who are you
43:32 trying to affect what do you want that
43:33 effect to
43:36 be do you want to inspire people to
43:38 start their own business do you want to
43:41 entertain people do you want to educate
43:44 people to be curious and adventurous
43:46 with AI like that's my gig right
43:50 now the
43:52 creativity is in what you choose to do
43:55 and how you choose to express it
43:58 what tool you
44:00 use is independent of
44:02 that the most important thing is what
44:05 are you trying to accomplish and then
44:08 you're the one that gets to choose is
44:10 this good enough and what you're telling
44:11 me is a lot of times it's good enough
44:13 for you fine let it be good enough that
44:16 doesn't mean it's not
44:19 creative it just means it happened
44:22 faster but you're the one that brought
44:24 it to life
44:25 right battle know curious how many
44:28 people create true twin versus create
44:31 their best
44:35 version or objectives def defined in FIA
44:38 or no I don't know I mean I tried I
44:42 tried in mind to answer them as me I put
44:45 my name on my digital
44:55 twin utopian versions of the M eles some
44:58 people are going to go in there and
44:59 create DN
45:03 fantasy I tried to do one that was just
45:05 kind of like had as as many of my
45:08 attributes as I could like some of the
45:10 questions I couldn't I didn't have a
45:12 good answer for so I just picked
45:13 something but I I don't like I don't
45:16 think it matters I mean I think I I
45:19 think it's a really
45:21 interesting it's a really interesting
45:23 question right when when you say a
45:25 digital twin what it kind of implies is
45:28 you're going to create someone that's
45:29 exactly like you are maybe digital
45:32 Twin's not the right thing let's call it
45:33 digital advisor or digital Avatar
45:35 whatever just an avatar you're going to
45:37 create an avatar in the world but you're
45:40 you're going to be the one that
45:41 [Music]
45:45 designed who's very shy and introverted
45:50 and doesn't feel like they're very
45:52 articulate with language I could see
45:54 them creating an avatar that's
45:56 boisterous and out there and funny and
45:59 extroverted let their Avatar go out in
46:01 the world and be the thing that you know
46:03 they always wished they could be right
46:07 someone else is going to say I want to
46:08 create someone that's just like me so I
46:10 I don't know I mean I think I think
46:12 that's part of what fascinates me about
46:14 this
46:16 project
46:18 because you know it's a lot like the nft
46:20 world like in Discord servers most
46:23 people are Anonymous they most people
46:25 are behind their Avatar right right and
46:28 you don't know if they're just an
46:29 absolute [ __ ] douchebag or if they're
46:31 just a loser living in their mother's
46:34 basement or whatever it is
46:36 right they've got this this Persona and
46:39 some of them are very powerful in their
46:41 Persona and then you get to know them or
46:44 you meet them and you're like
46:45 oh that does not compute right but but I
46:50 it's a great question I'm excited to see
46:53 how it goes yeah the yin to their Yang
46:56 yeah like we get to design and and
46:58 here's the thing you also don't have a
47:00 single digital twin I've got a digital
47:02 twin for Content Evolution which is like
47:04 this professional thing digital twin for
47:07 this book I wrote called AI Futures and
47:09 Anthology that's about the book but it's
47:12 also about My Philosophy about the
47:13 future of AI um I've now got this
47:17 digital got another
47:21 digital when people from this channel
47:25 went and played with my content
47:26 evolution digital twin the response I
47:29 got back was oh he doesn't swear and he
47:31 doesn't
47:34 say and he's not funny because that's
47:37 this Persona like you know my Persona
47:39 here is not what I built into that
47:41 digital twin for Content Evolution so
47:44 it's a it's it's a
47:51 fascinating like thought experiment but
47:54 but like actual experiment like we're by
47:56 the end of this
47:59 year we will have fully autonomous
48:02 agents that we can deploy in the
48:06 world well what do we choose to make
48:08 them as they're not just all going to be
48:10 functional they're not just going to all
48:11 be things that are just like go do tasks
48:13 for me some of them are going to be
48:15 personality based some of them are going
48:17 to be social media based some of them
48:20 may
48:22 actually post on social media on our
48:25 behalf other ones might post on social
48:27 media on their
48:29 behalf but then drive traffic to our
48:33 account I like I don't know I don't know
48:37 where it goes but I think this is I
48:39 think this is skills that we need
48:42 to if if you want to be AI literate I
48:45 think understanding that this is
48:48 here and that we have choices to
48:54 make the people that are thoughtful
48:56 about that and get their head around
48:58 that concept are gonna have an advantage
49:01 they're gonna have a lot of opportunity
49:03 that's why this channel [ __ ]
49:06 exists don't be afraid of this well no
49:09 be absolutely [ __ ] terrified of this
49:11 [ __ ] and accept that it's not going away
49:14 keep playing with it
49:16 anyway
49:18 right all right um I think it's
49:21 important to remember that we are
49:23 running this anything we do we want to
49:26 yeah exactly exactly well that's the
49:28 thing a lot of people that are sitting
49:31 on the outside of
49:33 ai ai is happening to
49:37 them it is happening at
49:41 them because they're outside of it so
49:44 whatever AI does if it's a disruptive
49:47 Force it's going to disrupt them hard if
49:50 you're inside it like the metaphor that
49:53 I go to is there's two choices right now
49:56 this is a very binary world we live in
49:58 with
50:00 AI there's a
50:03 beach and we all started on the
50:07 beach and there's a
50:09 big [ __ ] massive series of a Thousand
50:14 Waves coming at the beach and they're
50:17 increasing in
50:20 size way off in the
50:23 distance the choice right now is do you
50:26 sit on the beach and
50:29 relax or do you climb on a surfboard and
50:32 start paddling out those are the only
50:34 two
50:35 choices they're the only two
50:38 choices and if you choose to sit on the
50:40 beach AI will happen to
50:43 you and if you choose to paddle out on
50:46 the board some people are going to suck
50:47 at surfing but at least they're [ __ ]
50:49 out there trying and they're learning
50:51 what a wave is and they're learning how
50:53 big they are and they're learning how
50:54 far apart they are and they're learning
50:58 how fast they're coming at the
51:01 beach and so they've at least got a
51:03 chance to navigate what happens to the
51:08 beach right those are the only two
51:10 choices right now as far as I can tell I
51:13 don't like beaches I'll be waiting at
51:14 home I'm curious on how many end up
51:17 creating light Twins versus dark twins
51:19 that's a really that's a really
51:20 interesting
51:22 question and also like
51:28 like I chose to name my twin like one of
51:30 the options was you could paste in your
51:33 Twitter your Twitter
51:35 bio and so I just pasted in my Twitter
51:37 bio which has you know you know the AI
51:41 Salon in it it's got the AI learning lab
51:43 in it it's got Story vine in it I used
51:45 my real name for the name of my avatar
51:49 so like that's a choice I I would
51:51 imagine in the nft world I will be one
51:55 of the rare few that use their actual
51:58 information because the nft Bros are all
52:00 like never kyc
52:03 man never kyc you big fat loser kyc if
52:08 you don't know in banking stands for
52:10 know your customer and it basically is
52:13 you know when you have to provide your
52:14 driver's license to get a bank account
52:17 Crypt Bros [ __ ] hate
52:19 that you should never never kyc
52:24 yourself um but you know I've been on
52:27 social media for [ __ ] Ever So and
52:30 I've always used my name so I'm just
52:32 that's where I am I don't give a
52:34 [ __ ] um but yeah like how many of us are
52:39 going to put avatars out there digital
52:41 twins out there that are that are known
52:44 known to be associated with us and how
52:46 many are going to be divorced from
52:49 us and what do we do with those divorced
52:52 ones you know do we live vicariously
52:55 through the runchy
52:57 the runchy bot that we
52:59 create that goes out and does surfs all
53:02 the dark web for us brings us back all
53:05 the nasty
53:07 stuff we just peer over the wall
53:09 occasionally
53:14 wo oh
53:19 man so anyway that's
53:21 that Fria doai
53:25 [Music]
53:32 sh
53:35 yeah okay what do we want to do let's
53:48 see
53:50 H they train an AI on the dark web they
53:53 use it to sniff out hidden subt
53:57 text I'm sure that I'm sure that all
54:00 these models were trained on the dark
54:02 web
54:03 actually isn't my isn't my Silk Road
54:06 username
54:11 enough that's awesome tsunami wave swamp
54:15 swamp
54:16 swamp know how to swim yeah
54:20 exactly
54:22 um I mostly keep quiet
54:28 [Music]
54:34 uh all right
54:38 um what I want to play
54:42 with I had a fun idea for a movie oh let
54:45 me show you something new in in
54:51 uh in mid Journey that I thought was
54:55 cool can I do I have to [ __ ]
55:01 yeah
55:10 okay so in mid Journey if you go to
55:16 create oops this is your
55:20 library why can I
55:25 not grab it
55:27 come
55:28 on oh my God
55:32 interface there we
55:39 go all right so here's some images I was
55:41 making earlier you're like oh some more
55:43 muscle cars what are you a [ __ ] loser
55:45 yeah yeah yeah whatever okay um so I was
55:50 making some muscle cars by the way
55:51 that's the 1970 Chevy Impala that was
55:54 the first car I ever had so I have a
55:55 concept for a video that I want to make
55:57 and enter into a contest um and it's
56:00 going to involve my my muscle car
56:02 prompts because I've got a bunch of
56:03 images but one of the new things that
56:05 they added
56:07 to um to Mid journey is an organization
56:12 tool
56:15 um and the way it
56:18 works is you've got folders over
56:23 here um why do I not oh let me reload
56:26 this
56:27 because I think it doesn't have my new
56:30 folders personalize
56:34 organize where's my folders now am I not
56:37 logged in the hell is going on Mid
56:40 Journey
56:42 create
56:45 organize profiles
56:48 filters where are my
56:52 folders oh they made a new button ah
56:56 okay they okay here's a here's a good
56:59 lesson
57:00 people from 4:00 this afternoon until
57:05 8:56 this evening they changed the
57:08 interface okay so in the upper right
57:11 hand corner if you go to the on the on
57:13 the leftand side if you go to the um to
57:18 the left-hand menus and you click on
57:19 organize you'll get the images a lot
57:22 smaller and then over here on the right
57:24 hand side there's profiles filters view
57:27 options and and now they added this this
57:30 folder icon in the upper right hand
57:32 corner that was not there this this
57:34 afternoon at 4 um but anyway so I've got
57:38 this folder called 70s muscle car tests
57:42 so if I click on that here are all the
57:45 muscle car images I've
57:47 made that I could find oh wait those
57:51 shouldn't be in there I wonder if I can
57:54 can I get rid of those
57:58 I bet I
58:00 can so you can highlight all these
58:02 things these are not part of this
58:09 project all right so let's get these out
58:11 of
58:12 here so we're going to move those over
58:16 here can I remove
58:20 them
58:23 uh can I what
58:28 let's
58:30 see are they still in
58:33 there yes all right I don't know how to
58:36 remove [ __ ] from it but anyway so you
58:38 have folders now I'll figure that out
58:41 I'll figure out how to get rid of [ __ ]
58:43 but I I made a bunch of new images today
58:45 so if I go out to how do I go out to all
58:51 um new folder
58:53 group oh I guess I closed that yeah
58:55 there we go okay
58:57 so here's all a bunch of new cars that I
59:00 made today all these 70s imp Palace so
59:04 I'm going to highlight them
59:07 all and then I can just drag them into
59:09 that
59:10 folder and so that's nice it makes for
59:13 nice um organization you
59:18 know unless you put stuff in the wrong
59:20 folder and don't know how to take [ __ ]
59:22 out of your folder like those things
59:33 now wait are these selected wait let's
59:36 see can I select these
59:39 no how do I get rid of
59:43 [ __ ] oh I get it oh
59:46 wait so I can add things what what do I
59:49 do here deselect
59:54 all select all
1:00:01 delete delete
1:00:05 no
1:00:08 huh I honestly don't know what to do
1:00:10 with
1:00:13 these you're like well KY listen Kyle
1:00:18 how are we supposed to know you're
1:00:19 showing us how to do something I one of
1:00:21 the one of the challenges I I have right
1:00:23 now is this is called the AI learning
1:00:25 lab and I came here to learning it seems
1:00:27 like you're learning on the
1:00:29 Fly do you what are your
1:00:32 qualifications sir sir sir
1:00:36 sir and by the way you don't need to
1:00:38 call me sir it's kind of rude it's rude
1:00:41 all
1:00:43 right um is this mid Journey yes this is
1:00:46 mid journey I usually wish oh Tik Tock
1:00:48 would you stop it you know what maybe
1:00:51 instead of challenging me to prove that
1:00:54 I'm human you could promote the
1:00:58 channel hey Tik Tok are you
1:01:00 listening I'm live on here five nights a
1:01:03 week instead of assuming that I'm a
1:01:07 robot which you can tell that I'm not
1:01:10 because you've got AI listening to this
1:01:12 [ __ ] every night waiting for me to say
1:01:15 words like
1:01:16 boobies so you can Perma ban Me Maybe
1:01:20 instead of that could you promote the
1:01:22 channel thanks y'all are swell
1:01:27 all right um best way to learn is to be
1:01:31 clueless I'm here to be clueless for you
1:01:33 I'm I'm clueless so you don't have to
1:01:38 be oh thank you very much Winston
1:01:41 doesn't nice balloons those are
1:01:44 beautiful call him King Kyle yeah yeah
1:01:47 exactly I'm a king in my own mind all
1:01:50 right but I do have a crown have you
1:01:53 seen my crown my king crown oh yeah
1:01:56 here let's do we'll do it nice and big
1:01:58 for the for the cheap seats look at
1:02:03 that you can call me
1:02:06 royalty you can make money
1:02:09 withing all right so that was that was
1:02:13 mid
1:02:16 Journey so so let me get this straight
1:02:18 you showed us something that you don't
1:02:20 know how to use that's that's that's
1:02:22 what that's what you're going with yeah
1:02:23 pretty much pretty much pretty pretty
1:02:28 good it's pretty pretty pretty pretty
1:02:35 good there's a drunken Pelican oh we did
1:02:37 a bunch of drunken Pelicans last night
1:02:40 that was
1:02:41 fun we got Claude we worked with Claude
1:02:44 we worked with grock that was all good
1:02:47 there's Luma
1:02:48 Labs which was good but I want to I want
1:02:51 to go play with Pika I've
1:02:54 decided so I probably have a tab here
1:02:57 that's paika but you
1:03:00 know we we you know what you should do
1:03:03 if you have too many tabs open this is
1:03:05 some advice and this is listen I've been
1:03:08 around for a long long time been using
1:03:10 computers for a long long time if you
1:03:12 have too many tabs open and you can't
1:03:14 find the tab you're looking
1:03:16 for just open a new tab I mean I think
1:03:19 everyone knows that it's like
1:03:22 duh like yeah okay so your Tabs are so
1:03:26 small you can't even see the icons
1:03:27 anymore what's that supposed to be your
1:03:29 problem what are you supposed to do
1:03:31 manage those with your organization
1:03:34 skills good luck buddy okay so we're
1:03:37 gonna do a new tab we're gonna go to
1:03:39 Pika I think it's p.
1:03:41 AI I
1:03:44 think we'll
1:03:47 see nope no p. art now that I remember
1:03:51 p. art go to p. art
1:03:55 [Laughter]
1:04:02 okay oh wait I got to do the black bar I
1:04:04 don't have a producer tonight so you
1:04:05 gotta you gotta forgive me for well you
1:04:07 don't have to forgive me you can blame
1:04:08 me in fact if if your life is going
1:04:12 south feel free just lay it on me well
1:04:16 you know everything was fine until I
1:04:18 stopped watching that AI I started
1:04:20 watching that AI learning lab it's got
1:04:22 the it's got the guy and he told me I
1:04:24 should just play He said
1:04:26 work was overrated he said he embraced
1:04:28 being lazy so I I adopted that and I
1:04:31 became lazy and now I know a lot about
1:04:34 AI but I have no money that's he ruined
1:04:37 my life good Lord I just it just hit I'm
1:04:40 putting two and two together right now
1:04:42 and I'm getting
1:04:44 five it's just it's
1:04:47 crazy all right
1:04:52 fantastic so let's see what all they
1:04:54 have they've got pikas
1:04:57 those are
1:04:58 new they've got the Pika app so they've
1:05:00 got Pika swaps P diss Pika scenes and
1:05:04 Peak
1:05:06 effects good Lord people good flipping
1:05:09 Lord so the peak effects are really easy
1:05:11 so we'll go make one of those get
1:05:14 started with Peak effects oh okay let's
1:05:17 see ah Peak effect okay so we will do
1:05:27 [Music]
1:05:32 um cakei we'll do explode it so we're
1:05:36 going to explode
1:05:38 something so we're g to go get an image
1:05:44 of
1:05:46 no what's
1:05:51 this it'd be fun to explode are you am I
1:05:54 showing you all this stuff
1:05:57 and peekaboos exactly all right so we'll
1:06:02 make that one all right so that's being
1:06:05 made and now we're going to go Pika
1:06:09 scenes oh Pika scenes are cool okay so
1:06:12 Pika scenes are like you can
1:06:17 add you can add multiple
1:06:21 ingredients and there's another one that
1:06:24 does this too which is the other one
1:06:26 does
1:06:28 this [ __ ] there's too many video
1:06:32 models who's got ingredients it's not
1:06:35 Deco
1:06:38 here I forget oh chat GPT might might
1:06:42 know hang
1:06:45 on which AI video
1:06:49 model has a feature called ingredients
1:07:01 scene ingredients is called Pika yeah
1:07:06 no
1:07:07 there's another
1:07:11 one cing clling has elements there you
1:07:14 go it was
1:07:16 cing AI base no that's not it it's
1:07:20 clling okay so it's clling whatever
1:07:22 there there's here's what here's all you
1:07:25 need to know there's too many [ __ ]
1:07:27 models okay so we're in P we just did a
1:07:30 peak effect we'll see that one now we're
1:07:32 going to do Pika scenes what's this is
1:07:35 is I think you can add up to 10 of these
1:07:37 so you can add a
1:07:39 location you can add an
1:07:43 object um oh we're in images oh that's
1:07:48 interesting Bronco what's
1:07:51 that all right we'll grab that as an
1:07:54 object
1:08:00 a blue
1:08:03 Bronco oh wait do we have a better one
1:08:06 that's pretty
1:08:09 slick trying to find a
1:08:11 location and I know we could go make one
1:08:14 of these but you know come
1:08:16 on that's no fun
1:08:21 fireplace
1:08:23 no let's do
1:08:25 [Music]
1:08:29 uh
1:08:43 desktop oh wait hot Aristotle let's grab
1:08:46 hot Aristotle okay so we're gonna add
1:08:49 hot
1:08:54 Aristotle and then we got to we got to
1:08:55 find a location so let me go find a
1:08:58 location
1:09:22 here oh these are old these are old
1:09:29 people oh that's good let's grab those
1:09:33 sunglasses so we're gonna have the dude
1:09:35 in the white suit with the
1:09:38 sunglasses watching a Jeep drive through
1:09:42 let me go back over to Mid Journey I'll
1:09:43 go find a
1:09:46 location um organized
1:09:53 [Music]
1:09:57 oh I'm just in that folder there we go
1:10:00 all right fanastic blob oh here we
1:10:08 go we got some cool locations here
1:10:27 does he always sing like that that
1:10:29 doesn't that that's annoying does anyone
1:10:32 else think this is annoying this channel
1:10:34 is annoying he's a little Annoying no no
1:10:37 one what if we chose that all right
1:10:41 download that bad
1:10:44 boy download come on there we go all
1:10:49 right let's go back to pika
1:10:56 we're going to go grabb that downloaded
1:10:59 file that one all right so we're going
1:11:02 to
1:11:03 go uh
1:11:08 bearded
1:11:10 man
1:11:13 stands on the side of a
1:11:18 waterfall wearing
1:11:22 sunglasses and watching a
1:11:26 Jeep
1:11:28 Splash through the water all right let's
1:11:33 see how that does let's go look at our
1:11:35 our
1:11:36 [Laughter]
1:11:45 dude that's pretty good that's pretty
1:11:49 good
1:11:53 H uh uh uh
1:11:56 he sings with the dog every night for 45
1:11:59 minutes no I don't sing every night for
1:12:01 45 minutes sometimes it's only
1:12:04 [Laughter]
1:12:10 [Music]
1:12:16 10 all right there's that okay so that's
1:12:20 that one
1:12:21 now the next one is called Peak Edition
1:12:27 upload your
1:12:30 video all right we got to find a video
1:12:33 here
1:12:35 um and then upload your image add anyone
1:12:40 or
1:12:41 anything all right so I got to go find a
1:12:43 video so let's let me go find a video so
1:12:46 we'll go
1:12:50 MP4 EG movie
1:13:07 oh these are all
1:13:09 me but just but I'm not walking or
1:13:12 anything um
1:13:19 [Music]
1:13:36 okay this is good so this is this is a
1:13:38 video that I made of an avatar of me
1:13:42 walking with some uh fictitious Pharma
1:13:46 sales rep
1:13:47 [Laughter]
1:13:51 lady okay so that's going to be what
1:13:53 we're walking with so now we're gonna
1:13:55 upload we're going to add something to
1:13:57 this wait add this to my video based on
1:13:59 the current actions in the original
1:14:00 video come up with a natural engaging
1:14:02 way to fit the object into the video
1:14:05 okay so let's go find an object okay
1:14:08 this should be
1:14:14 good oh man oh that's
1:14:19 nice let's
1:14:24 see oh the flower headed dude could be
1:14:29 cool that thing could be
1:14:34 cool a crazy car could be
1:14:43 cool all right baby Yoda it's baby Yoda
1:14:48 okay boom here we go all right here's
1:14:52 our here's our this video
1:14:59 well it put the sunglasses on him oh
1:15:01 that's
1:15:03 cool it does the cut the cut to to hot
1:15:07 Aristotle with the sunglasses
1:15:10 [Laughter]
1:15:20 on oh man I didn't think of these things
1:15:24 would be ible uh oh something went wrong
1:15:31 why oh I bet I bet it's because it
1:15:33 recognized baby Yoda as copywritten is
1:15:36 my
1:15:38 guess all
1:15:42 right I even the name of the file is
1:15:45 baby
1:15:50 Yoda um
1:15:57 let's try that
1:15:58 one let's see how let's see how creative
1:16:01 they
1:16:02 get what's going
1:16:06 on oh make sure your video is at least 5
1:16:08 Seconds
1:16:09 long we'll use the first five seconds is
1:16:12 this five seconds
1:16:16 long u maybe
1:16:20 not um that MP4
1:16:27 name contains
1:16:29 Mp4
1:16:31 [Music]
1:16:38 downloads these are just five seconds
1:16:56 maybe one of these Sky pictures with
1:17:01 that with that submarine could be kind
1:17:03 of
1:17:06 [Laughter]
1:17:15 cool all right let's grab that one n
1:17:20 think something more
1:17:22 blue that one
1:17:28 all right that's going okay and then
1:17:31 Pika
1:17:33 swaps make sure your videos five seconds
1:17:36 long we'll use the first five
1:17:39 seconds swap the original object with a
1:17:43 completely new
1:17:49 object upload a video okay
1:18:17 that says it's 5 Seconds
1:18:32 huh let's
1:18:49 see there's what's his name
1:19:00 all right let's grab
1:19:02 this so we're going to replace that
1:19:05 object what do you want to
1:19:07 modify the
1:19:11 spaceship have a specific vision upload
1:19:14 one of your photos and swap it okay so
1:19:17 let's get we'll put in 70 name contains
1:19:21 70 so we'll go to 70s muscle car okay
1:19:24 that car
1:19:26 so we're going to replace the white
1:19:27 spaceship with this blue
1:19:31 thing
1:19:37 um replace
1:19:40 the white spaceship with the blue
1:19:46 car all
1:19:48 right something went wrong
1:19:52 why you're so annoying
1:19:57 don't give me better
1:20:05 errors did it do it is it doing
1:20:13 it I think it's doing it oh look there's
1:20:16 our okay wait what happened here oh do I
1:20:18 got to close
1:20:20 that this looks cool
1:20:26 wow that's
1:20:30 nice that totally [ __ ]
1:20:35 works that was that crazy
1:20:41 surreal
1:20:43 submarine
1:20:49 huh I like
1:20:51 it it' be nice if it had some of the
1:20:53 color of the sky mapped onto it it
1:20:56 but not for nothing that's pretty
1:20:59 cool and there's a flying
1:21:05 goldfish that's pretty
1:21:08 sweet I might be launching a web
1:21:10 directory soon with the help of AI of
1:21:12 course
1:21:13 nice I really need to make myself a few
1:21:16 hundred image avatars too they seem
1:21:18 terribly useful for
1:21:20 funsies yeah you know do you know how to
1:21:24 use character references in mid Journey
1:21:26 archetyp archetypal
1:21:29 architect all right let's see if we got
1:21:32 okay I'm gonna kill one of
1:21:35 these can I delete one of
1:21:39 these oh that's cool that shows you what
1:21:42 the thing
1:21:47 is I wish I could delete one
1:21:59 this was a cool video
1:22:34 all right we got
1:22:37 it oh that did bad that did very
1:22:44 poorly that is
1:22:48 crap that one's better cuz it changed
1:22:51 the
1:22:53 car I'm developing chap is this
1:22:56 Pika this is Pika yeah this is p.
1:23:02 art all right so pik's got some new [ __ ]
1:23:06 they
1:23:07 they he here's what I think's
1:23:09 interesting about the Pika
1:23:11 stuff oh you don't know how to do that
1:23:14 archetypal architect I'll show you how
1:23:15 to do that we we'll do that next um
1:23:19 here's what I think's interesting about
1:23:20 the the pabs thing
1:23:25 what they're doing a lot of what they're
1:23:28 doing you could probably do on your own
1:23:31 with some clever prompting and some
1:23:33 clever uploading but they're sort of
1:23:35 pre-writing these prompts they're doing
1:23:37 sort of prompt
1:23:40 Collections and they're turning specific
1:23:43 prompting into features that's going to
1:23:45 make it easier for people to use which
1:23:47 is pretty slick but it's like pabs feels
1:23:51 like it's turning into a meme generating
1:23:54 machine
1:23:55 rather than like a fullon video
1:23:57 generating
1:23:59 company fascinating it's just
1:24:02 fascinating how how all these products
1:24:04 are starting to evolve and try to
1:24:06 differentiate themselves I would say Pik
1:24:08 right now feels the most differentiated
1:24:11 to me they've got the the most different
1:24:13 kinds of things everyone else is going
1:24:15 for we want to be full Cinema and these
1:24:19 guys are going for sort of quirky and
1:24:20 weird which I think it's it's not a bad
1:24:22 it's not a bad tactic
1:24:25 um okay for archetypal architect um and
1:24:28 for anyone else
1:24:31 if if you want to make images of
1:24:35 yourself you do it mid Journey where did
1:24:38 I again I can't remember these tools
1:24:46 anymore Runway does
1:24:49 frames I'll just do I'll just do it in
1:24:51 mid Journey because I can't I can't
1:24:53 remember the other tools and I'm doing
1:24:54 this on the
1:24:56 Fly download multiple files allow
1:25:00 create okay image denied fine
1:25:05 whatever okay up here when you click on
1:25:08 when when you're in mid Journey let me
1:25:11 make this bigger so you can see when
1:25:13 you're in mid Journey you can click on
1:25:15 this
1:25:16 image and then you can go get a picture
1:25:19 of your own self your own fat face in my
1:25:23 case or I could grab here I'll grab I'll
1:25:26 grab um Moody me moody moody me so when
1:25:32 you roll over the image there's three
1:25:35 icons below it the first one is is an
1:25:39 image icon and that's going to take the
1:25:43 um the basic structure of this image as
1:25:46 an
1:25:47 input the second one is a paperclip and
1:25:50 that's the style reference it's going to
1:25:51 take the look and feel of this as an
1:25:53 input and then the one to the left is a
1:25:56 character reference so it's going to
1:25:58 take this dude as the character
1:26:00 reference so now I can say um
1:26:05 firemen
1:26:07 walks
1:26:09 down a wet street
1:26:15 with a
1:26:19 big oak tree
1:26:22 burning behind him
1:26:35 and then let me just make sure that I've
1:26:37 got my a32
1:26:42 fine and then the fireman should look
1:26:45 like that dude I uploaded
1:26:51 [Music]
1:26:54 have one of these tools create a cheat
1:26:56 sheet of tools yeah the the problem is
1:26:59 bottl gnome is
1:27:02 um the uh the tools are changing too
1:27:05 fast to maintain it if you if you
1:27:07 created an agent that would sort of
1:27:09 scour the news every day and update the
1:27:12 thing dynamically that would be pretty
1:27:15 slick look look it made giant fat me
1:27:18 firemen
1:27:25 I don't know why wait oh because that's
1:27:28 the that's what he's wearing in that
1:27:29 thing he's wearing the leather jacket
1:27:32 now I wonder if I say if I say
1:27:35 firemen in a
1:27:38 yellow fire suit walks down the
1:27:43 street and then we'll add We'll add hip
1:27:46 fat guy to the
1:27:51 scene let's see what this does
1:27:55 come on get out get out of
1:28:08 there keep eating them Burgers boy
1:28:11 you'll get
1:28:15 there oh there we go see we can change
1:28:18 his we can change his little suit
1:28:21 color so you can just you can just kind
1:28:24 kind of go crazy and and
1:28:27 what's what I'll sometimes do is like
1:28:31 sometimes I'll use like an actual photo
1:28:34 of me like this thing and I'll make this
1:28:36 a character reference but then I could
1:28:39 also add in a second image and also make
1:28:42 it a character
1:28:43 reference and so this is going to be
1:28:46 some combination between these two dudes
1:28:48 and actually let me throw in this guy
1:28:50 we'll make that a character reference as
1:28:52 well so this is the skinny handsome dude
1:28:55 and then these are the two
1:28:57 chubby you know Pleasant looking
1:29:03 fellas and then and then let's say
1:29:07 um uh we'll say
1:29:11 zelt
1:29:14 athlete jogs around
1:29:18 a
1:29:21 track in a
1:29:26 theore jogging
1:29:30 suit we'll say jogs around Central
1:29:35 Park in a Flor jogging suit we'll make a
1:29:39 mob
1:29:40 [Laughter]
1:29:49 guy if you haven't used mid journey in a
1:29:52 while it's worth it's worth using
1:29:57 [Music]
1:30:04 G who this what this this is mid Journey
1:30:08 yeah but look at the dude so like I sort
1:30:11 of hybrid it out it sort of has some me
1:30:14 elements to it but you know a little
1:30:16 more
1:30:18 spalty see that one what's nice about
1:30:21 doing this experiment is um that looks
1:30:25 enough like me that I can convince
1:30:26 myself yeah that's what I look
1:30:31 like but but you know in reality I'm
1:30:34 more like that
1:30:35 [Laughter]
1:30:40 dude are you using mid Journey Through
1:30:42 the web console yes I've only used it
1:30:44 through Discord dude Zim get out of
1:30:46 Discord the the the web the web
1:30:49 interface is now the way to go it's so
1:30:51 much easier to use it's it it will
1:30:54 absolutely require you to un unlearn how
1:30:58 you've done things in Discord and if
1:31:01 you're if you're still doing images in
1:31:02 Discord with mid journey I assume you
1:31:04 are um command line
1:31:07 friendly um the the web interface you
1:31:11 can still use all that command line
1:31:12 stuff you know but you don't have to
1:31:14 like like I can I can pop any one of
1:31:17 these things into um into an editor here
1:31:20 let me let me go grab one of these
1:31:23 images like like this
1:31:25 one oops let's grab that one so I can
1:31:28 flip into an editor here and then I can
1:31:32 um I'll open it in the full
1:31:38 editor yes start creating okay um I'm
1:31:42 gonna erase his pants and so it gave me
1:31:45 purple velour pants and so now I'm gonna
1:31:48 say um instead of velour jogging suit
1:31:51 I'll say I'll say um
1:31:56 bright
1:31:57 blue yoga
1:32:04 pants that are
1:32:08 uncomfortably
1:32:17 tight all right let's
1:32:22 see it's submitting
1:32:25 we're going we're going sorry the
1:32:27 moderator is unsure about this prompt
1:32:30 all right fine that so I'll just say
1:32:32 yoga pants because they're already
1:32:34 uncomfortably tight aren't
1:32:37 they all
1:32:43 right a sensible fireman who walks away
1:32:46 sorry the moderator is unsure about this
1:32:48 why bright blue yoga pants uh let's see
1:32:52 bright blue so let's see uh
1:32:55 purple
1:32:59 jeans or
1:33:04 hens it's interesting that they use that
1:33:07 language the moderator is uncomfortable
1:33:09 with this
1:33:10 prompt like there's someone actually
1:33:12 sitting there H you know I'm not sure
1:33:15 about that
1:33:21 prompt those are not purple jeans are
1:33:23 they
1:33:25 those are oh those are
1:33:27 awful those are
1:33:32 bad here let's let's let's do this we'll
1:33:35 do
1:33:37 um we'll see um
1:33:42 robotic
1:33:51 legs Bang
1:33:55 MC Hammer
1:33:57 pants it's very likely a moderator model
1:34:00 fee yes this costs money mid Journey
1:34:03 costs money th those are not robotic
1:34:06 legs but that actually looks better than
1:34:07 what we had
1:34:09 before see this shit's just
1:34:12 weird that looks pretty good there that
1:34:14 looks pretty good those look sort of
1:34:17 normal go
1:34:21 with go with that one and then what do
1:34:23 you do do here you go I think I got to
1:34:26 go minus minus
1:34:28 no how do I get out of here I think I go
1:34:39 escape how do I get back to do I get any
1:34:42 of these back to create no
1:34:52 edit new
1:34:54 I gotta
1:34:56 keep hang
1:35:06 on I don't know there there's a way to
1:35:08 render it view
1:35:09 options there's a way to render it back
1:35:12 back into your create timeline you
1:35:15 upscale it back into here anyway um yeah
1:35:19 the mid Journey the mid Journey web
1:35:21 interface is absolutely worth learning
1:35:24 it's just it's the future they're going
1:35:26 to go away from Discord eventually but
1:35:27 there's there's so many people that
1:35:28 still you use Discord I'm sure they'll
1:35:31 keep it alive but this is much
1:35:33 better um all right totally counts as
1:35:38 evidence of your strict workout regimen
1:35:41 well look at my body I mean clearly I
1:35:43 work out a
1:35:45 lot except for my legs my teeny tiny
1:35:48 legs there but like look at that
1:35:50 chest right I mean look at the hair I
1:35:53 mean it's it's no no different than what
1:35:54 you're looking at right
1:35:58 here I mean sure I'm
1:36:01 gorgeous all right
1:36:06 people let's wind this [ __ ]
1:36:10 [Music]
1:36:12 down any final
1:36:16 questions yeah exactly Vicki I don't
1:36:20 I Discerning these interfaces I swear to
1:36:23 God man these interfaces are changing on
1:36:26 a daily basis they're like on an hourly
1:36:29 basis you literally can't learn
1:36:32 them should make him run in slowmo we
1:36:34 built a moderator of BDA models in
1:36:38 Alexa you wouldn't be told it was used
1:36:41 though yeah well I mean I know all these
1:36:43 things have moderators it's weird that
1:36:44 they're sort of exposing that one as the
1:36:47 moderator questions your prompting
1:36:49 skills there
1:36:50 Skippy it's like don't don't make it
1:36:54 sound like there's a person
1:36:56 there or I will have customer service
1:37:00 expectations
1:37:09 um all right my mid Journey has been
1:37:12 awful lately they are changing my mid
1:37:14 Journey has been awful lately oh has it
1:37:16 yeah it's they're changing a lot of
1:37:18 stuff well that's one of the problems I
1:37:21 saw this with Leonardo Leonardo was
1:37:23 really good for a long long time and
1:37:24 then it just it it's got so many
1:37:26 features in it now it's and I feel like
1:37:29 every single one of the AI generation
1:37:32 tools they're trying to one up their
1:37:34 competitors so they're all just copying
1:37:36 each other's features large language
1:37:38 models are doing this image generation
1:37:40 tools are doing this and their
1:37:42 interfaces are just getting bloated and
1:37:44 and unusable so that's just the phase
1:37:47 we're in oh good archetyp archetypal
1:37:50 architect is making his avatars now nice
1:37:53 go make your avatars also you know mix
1:37:56 in their style references and you know
1:37:59 go grab an image that you like the the
1:38:01 sort of look and feel of use that as a
1:38:03 style reference and you know use your
1:38:05 face as an image reference it's it's fun
1:38:08 and and frankly all the stuff I just did
1:38:10 right here in
1:38:12 uh in mid Journey you can do in a lot of
1:38:15 the other programs as well I did not
1:38:17 realize how unsettling it would be to
1:38:19 have night not quite right
1:38:21 images of myself based on my photos so
1:38:24 you guys know I mean some of you know I
1:38:28 don't even have an up right now hang on
1:38:29 let me show
1:38:30 you how I got into this whole AI
1:38:36 thing what did I do that was not
1:38:41 right oh there we go hang on a
1:38:48 sec how I got into this whole AI
1:38:51 thing was with this project called Kyle
1:38:54 Shannon
1:38:56 dreams and what you're
1:39:00 experiencing um with it feeling weird so
1:39:04 so this was fall of
1:39:06 22 I I taught myself how to get a
1:39:10 instance of stable diffusion up and
1:39:12 running and I installed dream booth and
1:39:15 then back then you had to upload like 25
1:39:17 or 30 pictures of yourself and then it
1:39:21 would you would you would start to be
1:39:22 able to make IM
1:39:25 and
1:39:26 so I just started I love that one I just
1:39:29 started making these
1:39:31 images that were me but not
1:39:34 me and it it was very unsettling and
1:39:37 then this weird thing happened where I
1:39:39 love that one that's one of my favorite
1:39:41 ones this weird thing happened
1:39:46 where the images were close close enough
1:39:51 to me that they felt familiar
1:39:54 but far enough from me that it was like
1:39:56 clearly some other story some other
1:39:58 timeline some other life so I started
1:40:01 this project called Kyle Shannon dreams
1:40:04 which was like writing the stories of
1:40:07 these people so if you go to Instagram
1:40:09 Kyle Shannon dreams or Tik Tock Kyle
1:40:12 Shannon dreams you can on Tik Tok you
1:40:14 can hear me playact the
1:40:18 characters and then on uh on Instagram
1:40:20 you just see the pictures that that was
1:40:22 the Genesis image that was the one
1:40:25 looked a lot like me and I'm like ah
1:40:27 that like that's I want to know that
1:40:28 guy's
1:40:30 story and it is it's a very surreal
1:40:33 thing to have images that are you but
1:40:35 not
1:40:40 you and it's weird how like sometimes it
1:40:43 makes you like with my particular face
1:40:46 shape sometimes it makes you like a big
1:40:48 fat tub aard and then sometimes you look
1:40:51 you know like a handsome young f
1:40:55 [Laughter]
1:40:58 there's a handsome young
1:41:01 fell from the monastery that's a good
1:41:04 spin on it I think that'll help me power
1:41:06 through it and get into a new Lial space
1:41:08 yeah it's weird isn't
1:41:11 it just weird grandson's team won
1:41:14 basketball game tonight senior night at
1:41:17 his college oh that's great
1:41:18 congratulations
1:41:24 there's the lady
1:41:27 me she's
1:41:29 [Laughter]
1:41:35 handsome just nuts isn't
1:41:40 it it's like every one of these is a
1:41:42 parallel
1:41:46 universe anyway all right everyone
1:41:54 [Music]
1:42:03 W hope you had some fun tonight hope you
1:42:06 learned a little
1:42:08 something
1:42:11 um beautiful thank you Lord digital
1:42:15 Gods you can't see the
1:42:18 chats why not I've got the black box
1:42:21 there
1:42:24 Dia oh
1:42:26 tomorrow if if you're a member of the AI
1:42:29 Salon or even if you're not go join the
1:42:31 AI Salon go to the
1:42:33 salon. and click on join our community
1:42:36 go down to the clubs and one of the
1:42:38 clubs down there is AI mechanics Gil or
1:42:43 AI mechanics with
1:42:45 Pate click on that club click on events
1:42:48 tomorrow Pate is teaching a demystifying
1:42:51 AI class it's the third one in a series
1:42:54 of these things um so go go check that
1:42:57 out
1:42:59 okay um yeah so come and learn um Pate
1:43:02 Pate really knows his [ __ ] with this
1:43:04 stuff if you want to understand if you
1:43:06 want to deeply understand how this stuff
1:43:09 works in a really accessible way um he
1:43:13 will help get you there and you know
1:43:15 again I've said this before I think even
1:43:18 if you're not technical getting your
1:43:20 head around how this stuff actually
1:43:24 works is to your advantage it will help
1:43:27 you with prompting it will help you with
1:43:29 the frustration level you feel of like
1:43:31 why can't I just do it the way I want to
1:43:33 do
1:43:35 it generative AI does not work like
1:43:38 computers used to work where you program
1:43:41 them and they give you predictable
1:43:42 results it's just not what they do it's
1:43:44 not how they do what they do so the more
1:43:47 you can understand that the better
1:43:48 better you'll get at being able to
1:43:50 Wrangle these tools so all right is
1:43:53 freia like fantasy sports where you have
1:43:56 to participate or does it just run
1:43:58 itself I'm I I think the experiment Todd
1:44:01 Waller is it's just running itself that
1:44:04 basically you set up your digital twin
1:44:06 and then it's kind of like um squid game
1:44:09 where
1:44:11 where the characters over a three-week
1:44:14 period are trying to influence one
1:44:16 another and they're basically I don't
1:44:18 know if they're going to be sort of
1:44:20 dropping you know bombs into the into
1:44:23 the scene there's three different cities
1:44:25 there's San Francisco Tokyo and London
1:44:28 so you choose a city and and your dude
1:44:31 gets dropped in or your lady gets
1:44:33 dropped in I get dropped into San
1:44:34 Francisco that's what I chose and then
1:44:38 um and I I would have chosen Tokyo but
1:44:41 it more people chose Tokyo so I figured
1:44:44 there's more competition in Tokyo so I
1:44:46 went for San
1:44:47 Francisco um and then yeah I think each
1:44:50 of the Cities they'll probably have some
1:44:53 events that happen and then the the
1:44:55 avatars the digital twins will have
1:44:57 their personality attributes and like
1:45:00 part of the things it asks was like if
1:45:02 something bad happened would you step
1:45:04 into a leadership position or would you
1:45:06 hide off in a corner and so I think
1:45:09 these things are just going to interact
1:45:10 with one another based on their
1:45:13 personality attributes and then they're
1:45:14 just going to see who who Rises up the
1:45:17 leaderboard over three weeks and then
1:45:20 whoever has the most points at the end
1:45:21 of three weeks wins the whole the entire
1:45:24 prize pool which at this point is over
1:45:27 $200,000 so a one in 1,000 chance at 200
1:45:31 Grand that's not bad I'll take
1:45:34 that and hopefully I learned something I
1:45:38 mean I went into this blind enough that
1:45:40 I haven't really researched it so I
1:45:42 don't know there there might be really
1:45:44 cool game mechanics it might be
1:45:46 completely transparent to us I don't I
1:45:48 honestly don't know um there is a
1:45:50 Mastadon account for my avatar so I
1:45:54 assume they're going to be using
1:45:55 Mastadon like a an area a special server
1:45:59 within Mastadon uh to do the Social
1:46:01 Media stuff but I don't
1:46:04 know anyway all right see slug of Doom
1:46:07 side hustle Master the salon AI yeah the
1:46:10 AI mechanics with Pate group that's the

1:50:15 there we go all right so here's Kelly's
1:50:19 video video unavailable says video is
1:50:21 private so you've got to make that
1:50:23 private so make that on private and then
1:50:25 I'll go back
1:50:27 here and um let's look at Tom nodders
1:50:32 here's my first Peak edition let's I
1:50:34 want to look at this one that's the sell
1:50:36 my boss is gonna freak
1:50:38 out when I show him what I did to our
1:50:40 favorite cell
1:50:45 model oh that's
1:50:48 cool oh you can't see any of that God
1:50:50 damn this thing
1:50:53 [Music]
1:51:00 so I guess this is where Tom Works
1:51:02 they've got their favorite cell
1:51:04 model oh wait here we go here we
1:51:12 go that's pretty
1:51:16 good you should you should just send him
1:51:19 an email that says Uh there's been a
1:51:22 mishap and just send it to him with no
1:51:25 [Laughter]
1:51:29 context um all right let me reload this
1:51:33 let me see if this is now
1:51:38 sharable all right so I gotta change how
1:51:42 I share it hang on a
1:51:48 [Music]
1:51:50 sec all right
1:51:55 hey F
1:51:58 here okay i' like to try something
1:52:01 new even though this is the very first
1:52:04 time that you've ever seen these
1:52:06 items I'd like you to use your new Helix
1:52:09 Ai and try to reason through where you
1:52:11 think they belong and then work together
1:52:13 to put them away does that sound good
1:52:16 [Music]
1:52:18 [Applause]
1:52:27 [Laughter]
1:52:27 [Applause]
1:52:41 [Applause]
1:52:42 go
1:52:46 [Applause]
1:52:54 [Music]
1:52:55 that's pretty good that's pretty good so
1:52:58 if you didn't if you didn't see um last
1:53:01 night we watched the original video of
1:53:03 that and it is disturbingly boring and
1:53:06 terrifying at the same time so I think
1:53:08 the Benny Hill music helps a lot that
1:53:11 was
1:53:15 great it's very coordinated sped up like
1:53:18 this yeah it was good sped up like that
1:53:19 that was pretty cool I dug it all right
1:53:24 um all right good
1:53:26 people let me get the heck out of Dodge
1:53:29 let you people have the rest of your
1:53:30 Friday
1:53:31 night I like to
1:53:33 speed now they won't kill me in my sleep
1:53:36 exactly that's the uh that's the uh the
1:53:39 coping mechanism for the video of the
1:53:42 the actual robots is turn them into
1:53:46 comedies oh man what a time what a time
1:53:51 all right everybody um
1:53:55 so I don't have any homework for the
1:53:57 weekend I think just relax this
1:54:01 weekend don't play with if you're
1:54:04 inspired to do something with AI with
1:54:06 with AI then do something with AI if
1:54:08 you're not I'd say unplugged from it it
1:54:11 was a pretty intense week so I think
1:54:14 just unplugged this
1:54:15 weekend
1:54:17 um yeah I think I'm going to work on on
1:54:20 some stuff with my Musical
1:54:24 and uh and I might start a new I might
1:54:26 start that new video project with uh
1:54:28 with the 70s muscle cars but but I I
1:54:31 would say relax this weekend all right
1:54:33 cool everybody have a great weekend I'll
1:54:35 be back Monday 800 PM mountain time as
1:54:38 always and then um next week there's not
1:54:42 a salon so it'll just be a normal week
1:54:45 next week maybe we'll get back to doing
1:54:47 some deep Dives next week I'll get my
1:54:49 [ __ ] together I was just I had a busy
1:54:50 week this week and once I got out of
1:54:52 that Groove was hard to get back in it
1:54:54 so I'll think about that over the
1:54:55 weekend as well all right all right
1:54:57 everybody groovy have a good weekend
1:54:59 bottl gnome welcome I I hope you had a
1:55:01 good time keep coming back to this join
1:55:04 the AI salon and keep coming back to
1:55:06 these things the the most important
1:55:08 thing right now is not obviously
1:55:10 anything I'm teaching right because it's
1:55:12 like it's like I'm I'm muddling my way
1:55:15 through that just like we all are the
1:55:17 the the whole point of being at these
1:55:20 evening sessions is just to be in the
1:55:22 the conversation just be playing just
1:55:24 keep your mind in the game and and
1:55:26 that's that's I think the best way we
1:55:28 can all support one another all right so
1:55:30 have a great weekend everybody and uh oh
1:55:33 Todd Waller join the uh join the digital
1:55:36 twin thing you're with me in San
1:55:37 Francisco all right let's duke it out
1:55:41 buddy bottle gnome you teach my style
1:55:44 sweet good that's awesome all right um
1:55:48 peace out have a great weekend we'll see
1:55:50 you on Monday
