56. 12:36whatever nobody nobody wants to see an old FKA in a Friday night um but YouTube doesn't um they don't promote the lives
57. 12:46like that so if you would be so kind if you know the YouTube url if you would share the YouTube live URL or just the
58. 12:56channel I guess to to like one of your socials like show it to e share it to X or share it to Facebook or send it to
59. 13:04some friends or something like that um and just say hey AI learning lab is Live Now on YouTube maybe we get some new

75. 15:40do to boost visibility on YouTube encourage viewers to like comment and share your live stream you can also ask
76. 15:48them to turn on notifications for your channel additionally promote the stream on other social media platforms and
77. 15:55consider collaborating with other creators to expand your reach so you're basically saying I've got to do
78. 16:02work a bit of effort definitely helps but it's all see that that's that's that's where there's there's there's the

124. 24:45and it's also good to get to know uh some of the people in the Channel all right sound like a plan oh my God the
125. 24:50Cycles are cyclical this week has been an emotional roller coaster I know the the five stages of of AI adop here let
126. 24:58me let me read through them because you know see where you are on this list but also I think you'll realize that you're
127. 25:06probably at all five stages of this simultaneously for different pieces of the AI world so the first stage is
128. 25:15dismissal or denial it's just another tech fad nothing to see here you know that stage where you're like yeah yeah
129. 25:21to say I shit'll pass it hallucinates it's just a stochastic parrot all that [ __ ] where you're trying to live in human
130. 25:34hubris that that we're way smarter than these machines they'll never be as good as us that's the that's stage one and
131. 25:41and listen Perfectly Natural stage to be understandable if you get freaked out by this you sometimes will regress to that
132. 25:49as a survival mechanism um stage two is this is the stage of awe where you have your first Kevin McAllister moment or
133. 25:57yet another Kevin McAllister moment which if you don't know the Kevin McAllister moment that's that moment where you realize wait AI can do
134. 26:09that and if if you are curious about about AI but you haven't had a moment yet where you're just absolutely like
135. 26:18your your jaw literally drops open you're not doing it right so get in there and play until you have that
136. 26:24moment the the third phase the third stage is is what I'm calling wonder and fear or or reverence and Dread
137. 26:34simultaneously this is incredible and terrifying like like that moment of now that you've had this moment of awe you
138. 26:42sort of move into this next thing where you start exploring it the more you explore the more it un it reveals itself
139. 26:48to you and you're just like this is amazing and then and then oh my God what does this mean for the world and for me
140. 26:56and for everyone at my work and you know that's that stage stage four I've only recently started to touch on stage four
141. 27:06stage four is a really fun one stage four is is what I'm calling augmentation or Humanity Amplified and it's this
142. 27:14moment where you realize ah AI isn't replacing me I actually get to use it and what AI is actually doing is taking
143. 27:22my ideas and letting me amplify them right so it's still me initiating this and putting things out in the world and
144. 27:30then and then the stage five which I don't think the Tech's quite here for this yet um so so I don't think anyone's
145. 27:37fully at stage five right now but it's the stage of cognitive hyper abundance it's where you know you have fully
146. 27:46surrendered to the machine and you've now got you know dozens of AI agents working for you and out there doing
147. 27:53their thing that one probably feels like it's two to three years away um for all of us because the Tech's not there yet
148. 27:59but but you know you know this this is the one that starts to become the singularity where we realize we accept the fact that we're the
149. 28:08bottleneck and we just let the a ai go out and do things you know on our behalf that that one I'm really excited about
150. 28:15we're just not there yet so anyway that's that's that stuff all right stage 40 GPT gpts and Counting oh stage 46 gpts
151. 28:27and counting yeah there you go yeah keep building gpts that's that's going to be a skill that does you well stage three
152. 28:34checking in very nice yeah listen if you're at stage three if you're at the if you're at the stage of you know
153. 28:43you're just amazed by this and simultaneously terrified it's a perfect place to be because it is terrifying and
154. 28:52and we actually don't know like what does what does it look like if the thing that's really remarkable right now but
155. 29:00still it still it actually kind of requires you to participate what if it gets just that much better you're like
156. 29:08ah [ __ ] what what do I do what I can tell you is this and you know I've got it on screen right now I think the Hedge
157. 29:19to the fear is this is this last last point of this three-stage um process play first mindfully create generously lead so the
158. 29:30play first part is that's just dick around with AI just play with it play with it play with it and at some point you'll have your
159. 29:38Kevin mallister moment and then you'll sort of run down that rabbit hole and you'll move into stage three kind of
160. 29:43organically and then mindfully create create is you start to understand what's possible with the stuff you've learned
161. 29:51enough that you're like huh I bet I could solve a problem with this I bet I could work on that marketing plan for
162. 29:58the boss or I bet I could help my friend with their pizza shop or whatever that might be and you start applying what
163. 30:04what you've learned to to solve problems or to create things the generously lead part is not obvious but I think it's really
164. 30:12important why be in something like the AI Salon why show up to a channel like this night after night after night I go
165. 30:21live five nights a week and the people that show up here regularly are called the Irregulars um because it's just
166. 30:27weird why would you do that well because what they're doing is they're staying in the conversation and they're sharing what
167. 30:36they're learning with each other they're sharing what they're learning at work and on LinkedIn and with their
168. 30:42friends and at first it's uncomfortable and at first it's weird and you're like everyone's weirded out by how much I talk about
169. 30:50Ai and then at some point one of those weirded out people might be your boss right so this this has happened lots of
170. 30:57times in here where people are in here they're just talking about AI at work I'm I'm encouraging it just go talk
171. 31:03about this put yourself out there those are the people that get asked to be on the AI steering committee those are the
172. 31:10people that we've seen pretty consistently are surviving rounds of job Cuts because they know AI um and and you
173. 31:18know it's there's going to be a lot of opportunity for anyone who is curious about AI in the next two two three years
174. 31:25um but people got to know you do it there's there's a another benefit to sharing to learning out loud is you
175. 31:33learn better when you've got to talk about what you're learning and what worked and what didn't you've got to
176. 31:40articulate it and you just get better at you know articulating why AI is cool in the first place why it's powerful what
177. 31:47you're learning all that sort of stuff so bottle gome 21 is leaning into the fear perfect that's the right way to do it yes at
178. 32:04once I think I'm at stage 3.3 that's about right like I keep I find myself oscillating Lori between three and four
179. 32:14where like some days I feel like ah yes I'm one with the machine and everything's fine and then some new
180. 32:20shit'll happen or some new thing comes out I'm like oh that's [ __ ] terrifying so I I regress so I'm I'm in an oscillation and that
181. 32:33oscillation is accelerating because the the world is accelerating um next week we should have this this week we got
182. 32:41grock 3 next week we should have open AI 4.5 which is what they Cod named Orion internally uh Sam Alman was talking
183. 32:50about that back in October I think um that looks like it's going to be pretty promising they're also saying we're
184. 32:56going to have GPT 5 by May so we're not that far away from having their next big ass model um this week's been a little bit too
185. 33:09much to take yeah I would agree with that I would agree with that um Kelly Camp was talking about she today she today gave a uh a talk to 35
186. 33:23dentists 35 of whom had never used at GPT and so she blew their mind she had a room full of Kevin mcalisters
187. 33:38today and and what's cool about how Kelly demonstrates AI is she's in a room full of dentist so she used dentist
188. 33:46examples right here's how to I don't know what she did here's how to do a schedule for the assistants things like
189. 33:52that absolutely blew their minds uh I'm finding multiple communities that AI positive I think Community is the only
190. 34:00way forward I think that's right archetypal architect I I this and and I think being in multiple communities is
191. 34:07the play you should absolutely be in the AI Salon but I think being in multiple communities just like be the advantage
192. 34:16of being in community is you're surrounding yourself with people that have very different points of view than
193. 34:22you do that are going to learn AI in a completely different way and when they share what they're learning it's going
194. 34:28to be revelatory to you because it's from such a different perspective um and again that's something we see really
195. 34:34consistently so I think even being in other communities is is vital so I think that's that's that sounds very right to
196. 34:42me um okay so let me let me show you show you what I what I got myself into um where is it where did I put it

202. 36:02this it cost you 0.1 eth which is about 250 bucks worth of eth so if if you've got that and you're comfortable you know
203. 36:11doing that sort of stuff and you have that laying around great if not don't do it this is this is a total speculative
204. 36:17gamble but here's why I did it what you do is you create your digital twin so they put together a like a 60 or 70 question survey
205. 36:30questionnaire that asks you things like you know how would you act in this situation you know uh climate change can be solved
206. 36:39but you've got to give up the following things what would you do it's all these sort of questions you know who are you
207. 36:44at a party and then it's got you know different personalities you know what would you what would you look like
208. 36:49what's your favorite aesthetic whatever it is so you answer all these questions and then it makes you a digital of
209. 36:58yourself I've done this for for Content Evolution we've created a whole I think we've got 35 of them now 35 digital
210. 37:06twins that are digital twins of these Professionals in the content Evolution Federation um which is it's a group of
211. 37:13marketing uh and and and kind of companies um service companies that that all work together to you know co-promote
212. 37:21and do things like that um and so we've created these custom gpts that are reflections of our elves that we can
213. 37:28interact with and co-write articles with and things like that so this is another spin on that but the here's the game to
214. 37:35this one and I think it's pretty brilliant so there's there's 10 hours left so if you want to get into this game again this is total you are
215. 37:44flushing this money down the toilet essentially just to be clear okay but once you generate your digital twin
216. 37:57in 10 hours and 22 minutes this world is going to come to life and what happens is all of the digital twins will start
217. 38:07communicating in social media and with one another and they'll try to recruit each other and basically at the end of three weeks
218. 38:18whichever digital twin has the most points from you know all of the interactions they win the entire prize
219. 38:26pool and right now the entire prize pool is $218,000 and but there's only there's only 9911 people in the population right
220. 38:38now so that's not bad odds right you know a one in 900 shot now I'm sure in the next 10 hours there's going to be
221. 38:45more in there but this is going to be somewhere around a thousand people maybe 1500 people on the highend um and and who knows you know if
222. 38:56my dude my Kyle Shannon dude like look at him like he's a he's a little handsome bugger he's very Godlike I didn't choose

229. 40:06and things like that um I think one of the skills that we're going to have to deal with moving forward is digital twin
230. 40:17management right that we put together versions of ourselves that are going to live in the world independent of us and
231. 40:25and what do we want want that representation to be and what permissions do we give it and what data does it have access to and what autonomy
232. 40:34does it have um so for me this is just an experiment to say well what the hell like I'll just I'll just flush this
233. 40:43money down the toilet maybe I'll win something but I don't really you know I'm not banking on that I'm not you know
234. 40:51I don't think that's really all that much of a possibility but who knows stranger shits happen um but it's going to be fascinating to see
235. 41:00what this kind of hermetically sealed world does and turns into like do do people start sniping and fighting does it turn into a
236. 41:09Utopia I don't know so I just I'm excited about being on the inside of it so anyway all right that's that crazy right all right let's see

240. 41:54better even when I ask it to be fixed so many many times no issues um well the creativity so ocean that's a good
241. 42:03question the creativity is in well what are you trying to create just because just because you can create something faster doesn't mean
242. 42:15it's necessarily of less value I think that's I think that's one of the misconceptions that as humans
243. 42:28because it had to take a long time with previous tools to generate high quality work we've placed value on that and for

248. 43:10you've got access to tools that can make literally anything it can make computer software for you it can write for you it
249. 43:17can make images it can make music it can make movies it can make 3D worlds what do you want to put in the world
250. 43:28what are you trying to do who are you trying to affect what do you want that effect to be do you want to inspire people to
251. 43:38start their own business do you want to entertain people do you want to educate people to be curious and adventurous
252. 43:46with AI like that's my gig right now the creativity is in what you choose to do and how you choose to express it what tool you
253. 43:59use is independent of that the most important thing is what are you trying to accomplish and then you're the one that gets to choose is
254. 44:09this good enough and what you're telling me is a lot of times it's good enough for you fine let it be good enough that doesn't mean it's not
255. 44:19creative it just means it happened faster but you're the one that brought it to life right battle know curious how many
256. 44:27people create true twin versus create their best version or objectives def defined in FIA or no I don't know I mean I tried I

265. 45:53them creating an avatar that's boisterous and out there and funny and extroverted let their Avatar go out in
266. 46:01the world and be the thing that you know they always wished they could be right someone else is going to say I want to
267. 46:07create someone that's just like me so I I don't know I mean I think I think that's part of what fascinates me about this project
268. 46:17because you know it's a lot like the nft world like in Discord servers most people are Anonymous they most people
269. 46:24are behind their Avatar right right and you don't know if they're just an absolute [ __ ] douchebag or if they're
270. 46:31just a loser living in their mother's basement or whatever it is right they've got this this Persona and
271. 46:39some of them are very powerful in their Persona and then you get to know them or you meet them and you're like
272. 46:45oh that does not compute right but but I it's a great question I'm excited to see how it goes yeah the yin to their Yang
273. 46:55yeah like we get to design and and here's the thing you also don't have a single digital twin I've got a digital
274. 47:02twin for Content Evolution which is like this professional thing digital twin for this book I wrote called AI Futures and
275. 47:09Anthology that's about the book but it's also about My Philosophy about the future of AI um I've now got this digital got another
276. 47:21digital when people from this channel went and played with my content evolution digital twin the response I
277. 47:28got back was oh he doesn't swear and he doesn't say and he's not funny because that's this Persona like you know my Persona
278. 47:39here is not what I built into that digital twin for Content Evolution so it's a it's it's a fascinating like thought experiment but
279. 47:53but like actual experiment like we're by the end of this year we will have fully autonomous agents that we can deploy in the
280. 48:05world well what do we choose to make them as they're not just all going to be functional they're not just going to all
281. 48:11be things that are just like go do tasks for me some of them are going to be personality based some of them are going
282. 48:17to be social media based some of them may actually post on social media on our behalf other ones might post on social media on their
283. 48:28behalf but then drive traffic to our account I like I don't know I don't know where it goes but I think this is I
284. 48:38think this is skills that we need to if if you want to be AI literate I think understanding that this is here and that we have choices to
285. 48:53make the people that are thoughtful about that and get their head around that concept are gonna have an advantage
286. 49:01they're gonna have a lot of opportunity that's why this channel [ __ ] exists don't be afraid of this well no
287. 49:08be absolutely [ __ ] terrified of this [ __ ] and accept that it's not going away keep playing with it anyway
288. 49:17right all right um I think it's important to remember that we are running this anything we do we want to

291. 49:49you're inside it like the metaphor that I go to is there's two choices right now this is a very binary world we live in with AI there's a
292. 50:02beach and we all started on the beach and there's a big [ __ ] massive series of a Thousand Waves coming at the beach and they're
293. 50:17increasing in size way off in the distance the choice right now is do you sit on the beach and relax or do you climb on a surfboard and
294. 50:32start paddling out those are the only two choices they're the only two choices and if you choose to sit on the beach AI will happen to
295. 50:43you and if you choose to paddle out on the board some people are going to suck at surfing but at least they're [ __ ]
296. 50:49out there trying and they're learning what a wave is and they're learning how big they are and they're learning how
297. 50:54far apart they are and they're learning how fast they're coming at the beach and so they've at least got a
298. 51:03chance to navigate what happens to the beach right those are the only two choices right now as far as I can tell I
299. 51:12don't like beaches I'll be waiting at home I'm curious on how many end up creating light Twins versus dark twins

527. 1:39:14then back then you had to upload like 25 or 30 pictures of yourself and then it would you would you would start to be able to make IM and
528. 1:39:25so I just started I love that one I just started making these images that were me but not me and it it was very unsettling and
529. 1:39:37then this weird thing happened where I love that one that's one of my favorite ones this weird thing happened
530. 1:39:46where the images were close close enough to me that they felt familiar but far enough from me that it was like
531. 1:39:55clearly some other story some other timeline some other life so I started this project called Kyle Shannon dreams
532. 1:40:03which was like writing the stories of these people so if you go to Instagram Kyle Shannon dreams or Tik Tock Kyle
533. 1:40:11Shannon dreams you can on Tik Tok you can hear me playact the characters and then on uh on Instagram you just see the pictures that that was
534. 1:40:22the Genesis image that was the one looked a lot like me and I'm like ah that like that's I want to know that guy's
535. 1:40:29story and it is it's a very surreal thing to have images that are you but not you and it's weird how like sometimes it
536. 1:40:42makes you like with my particular face shape sometimes it makes you like a big fat tub aard and then sometimes you look

555. 1:44:06and then it's kind of like um squid game where where the characters over a three-week period are trying to influence one
556. 1:44:16another and they're basically I don't know if they're going to be sort of dropping you know bombs into the into
557. 1:44:22the scene there's three different cities there's San Francisco Tokyo and London so you choose a city and and your dude
558. 1:44:31gets dropped in or your lady gets dropped in I get dropped into San Francisco that's what I chose and then
559. 1:44:38um and I I would have chosen Tokyo but it more people chose Tokyo so I figured there's more competition in Tokyo so I went for San
560. 1:44:47Francisco um and then yeah I think each of the Cities they'll probably have some events that happen and then the the
561. 1:44:55avatars the digital twins will have their personality attributes and like part of the things it asks was like if
562. 1:45:01something bad happened would you step into a leadership position or would you hide off in a corner and so I think
563. 1:45:08these things are just going to interact with one another based on their personality attributes and then they're
564. 1:45:14just going to see who who Rises up the leaderboard over three weeks and then whoever has the most points at the end
565. 1:45:21of three weeks wins the whole the entire prize pool which at this point is over $200,000 so a one in 1,000 chance at 200
