32. 6:50flowers this is what the robots look like that everyone's building this looks like the Tesla robot this looks like
33. 6:56those robots that everyone's building do you guys guys realize oh wait I lost my duel here also dang it Tik Tock what the
34. 7:04hell doish made this in um do you realize that we are living in a world where where we're going to have [ __ ] like this walking the streets
35. 7:19probably within well we'll we'll probably have these things walking the streets in San Francisco and New York City and maybe La
36. 7:29in 3 years and then they'll be walking the streets normal streets in like 5 years and like well we'll have like
37. 7:37Jetson like like you know we'll have a robot like cooking the casserole um what was the name of that API package you said was being taught
38. 7:50today that I totally laughing Thunder that I totally missed it was okay so so I'll I'll I'll show it to you in the
39. 7:57context of I'll talk about the AI Salon it it was Ann Murphy's um weekend GPT jam and I'll show you how to find
40. 8:06information about that for the next one I actually I actually want to talk about that session today it was a really good
41. 8:12session the the guy that she brought in to teach it Scott I forget his last name but you on an F I think Fletcher Fleming
42. 8:19I don't know what it was um he was super patient he was super nice super knowledgeable uh Cosmic lover it was
43. 8:28amazing um and and it it essentially took the whole two hours so so what what he taught was people who who already
44. 8:37knew how to make gpts how to add an action to a GPT so it's you're basically adding an API and then the API we added was to
45. 8:47zapier and then you connect once you have the API connected to zapier then you have to add an action to zapier and
46. 8:53get it back into the GPT it while it is conceptually simple um it is the jankiest jankiest Beyond janky um yeah chat GPT to zappier to
47. 9:10Google Calendar um I wasn't able to make it because of the work but anyway I I'll I'll talk about it a bit it it
48. 9:17reinforced for me the thing the the reason I was excited here let me flip back here the reason I was excited about
49. 9:25the meeting this afternoon is I tried I tried that same zappier integration 3 months ago oh no it couldn't have been that
50. 9:38long cuz they've only been out for three months so two months ago like a month after it came out I took I took my own two hours and
51. 9:47like tried to figure it out watch some YouTube videos do did what you do and I got it I got it to talk to
52. 9:55zappier but then it failed on the zap and I was like ah well I just [ __ ] it I I don't care like I don't I don't have a
53. 10:00compelling need for it so because of that I didn't do it I was fully expecting that what I would learn today in that
54. 10:10session was that I did it all wrong and it there was a much better way to do it and I actually got it to work today
55. 10:19so that's good but what I learned today is that adding actions to gpts is a janky piece of [ __ ] like really really
56. 10:29bad I missed champy again and no oh he was so good well he was he was good you know champ champ being in the
57. 10:38diva that he is he was he was good for about a verse and most of a chorus and then he just gave it up he's like NOP
58. 10:48I'm done I'm done here I don't know who these people are I don't know I don't I don't really want to sing this song right now I'm a little
59. 10:55gassy and that was it so an I was just just talking about the thing today I was just talking about I don't know when
60. 11:02when you came in but the fact that like my fantasy for today was cuz the first time I tried it I almost got it to work
61. 11:09my fantasy today was was to get it to work but the real fantasy was that I would learn something from the person
62. 11:15that knew how to do this that it wouldn't be as janky as it was that that it either it had improved or I was doing it wrong the first time
63. 11:23and he taught it and I'm like nope it's still a mess so if you have not added an action to a GPT and if you don't know what I'm
64. 11:35talking about awesome good on you um and you feel intimidated by it and you feel like well I should really learn how to
65. 11:42do that my advice right now is unless you have a burning desire to do it just wait just give it cuz at some point open AI is goingon
66. 11:53to come out with gp5 with agents in it and this shit's going to be all automated um you're just going to log into your
67. 12:01services and the shit'll just work um we are not there right now it it it was a mess it was a mess um but it was I I got
68. 12:12to tell you that group is such a cool group so if you haven't joined one of Ann's um weekend GPT jams on Saturday
69. 12:19you should absolutely do it so how do you learn that how well but Kyle how do I found out what is this what is this

74. 12:56cool this community is really really neat it's very generous I like it I like it so anyway so how do we how do you get
75. 13:05there what do you do what do you what do you do Rudy since we have to off our domain for custom gpts why can't they
76. 13:12allow us to embed our in our website Rudy good Lord I I I I've got a list a mile long of things like that like why
77. 13:20can I search through my prompt history in the g chat GPT app but I can't do it in the [ __ ] website why can I not search my prompt
78. 13:30history and yes what you said yeah if we're if we're athing into if we can't create a GPT without athing into it in some way yeah why
79. 13:42can't we embed that in a website I yeah [ __ ] like that why does the GPT store not have any store elements to it like prices and revenue
80. 13:55sharing and a basic search function that functions and an actual directory that functions and a leader board I mean come on come on
81. 14:12people um can no one make a GPT that searches chat GPT I think there have been some people that have done that I don't know
82. 14:22how they're doing it um I mean now that we have the directory you don't really need to do that I mean you can you can search it
83. 14:30don't get me wrong it's just that their search sucks um okay so here's what we want to do I'm going to talk to you
84. 14:35about this amazing Community called the AI Salon that a lot of people in here are already part of um I'll show you
85. 14:42where the weekend GPT Jam is um we got a we got a decent amount of folks in here here's my request before I do that share
86. 14:51this live if you would share it right now share it with some of your friends on Tik Tock and couple couple of request
87. 14:59Quest share it with young people and and by Young I mean you know under 90 share it with some young people
88. 15:11because I think it'll make them cranky if if you know you share it with them share it with people who really hate it when you talk about
89. 15:23AI cuz it'll definitely piss them off um and then share with anyone who you think might enjoy it you know they're home on
90. 15:31a Saturday night eating Ben and Jerry's on their own they should come on join Saturday Night Live come on in here
91. 15:36we'll have fun um but seriously I I want people in in here who are either afraid of AI or pissed off about AI or
92. 15:46intimidate intimidated about AI um because this stuff this stuff is already here and
93. 16:02it's not going away and it's already incredibly powerful and Incredibly complex to deal with even though you don't need to be a
94. 16:12technologist to do a lot of this generative AI stuff there's a lot there's a lot to explore I I won't even say there's a lot
95. 16:21to learn because it's there's not a lot to learn right now there's a lot to explore right now and this stuff is going to get
96. 16:30really good really fast and it actually kind of breaks my heart that there's a bunch of people sitting on the sidelines
97. 16:38like with their arms crossed like yeah AI you know AI it just hallucinates and and it steals and it robs
98. 16:55and it makes me frustrated I mean I was you know it's just it's just cuckoo so let's get some of those people in here let's get them to try
99. 17:09it yeah I get it I get it yeah you're scared I mean yeah I I could see how you'd be scared there you want to see something
100. 17:17cool yeah you're angry yeah yeah it's it probably does seem like they they steal and they're plagiarizing like the
101. 17:25world's greatest plagiarism machine that's a good sound bite where did you get that you want to see something
102. 17:31cool that that's that's the Mantra of this channel you want to see something cool it is my hope and dream that
103. 17:40everyone tries AI long enough to have their first Kevin McAllister moment I haven't been talking about the
104. 17:47Kevin McAllister moment for a while so anyway let's get some new people in here people all right so here's and you haven't heard of

106. 18:05if it's French but it sure is more fun to say it like that the AI That's cool CER um I taught my college kids how to do their work with chat
107. 18:21GPT and bought them chat GPT plus oh that's super cool super cool uh Ed Potter D crypto hi Kyle hello hello
108. 18:34hello um okay so when you go there where you're going to actually go is you're going to go to a link tree that looks like
109. 18:44this and the top link is the AI Salon Community that's the one you're going to want to click on what these other things
110. 18:51are is the GPT for good event directory GPT for good was a thing that Ann Murphy and I did about a month ago ago that was
111. 19:00um a 24-hour chat GPT buildon and this community built 150 gpts and Vicky Baptist was kind enough to build us that
112. 19:10website so it's super cool the one below it is the YouTube uh archives of those sessions where we taught people to do
113. 19:17that um and at the bottom of that directory page is the instructions for how to make the gpts we taught everyone
114. 19:23to make so if you've got a nonprofit and want to build something for that go and then the one is just the uh YouTube
115. 19:29channel for uh AI learning lab then there's also the merch store so the AI Salon you're like oh he's sending us to
116. 19:36the a salon he's going to charge us here here it comes how much is he asking for it's free it's free so just go to the a

121. 20:18explore the Uncharted Wilderness of generative AI where everyone from entrepreneurs to Educators from healthcare workers to creatives and
122. 20:25everyone in between so we're choosing to be on this adventure together so if you're if you're one of those people that's like I
123. 20:35got to figure this stuff out and you feel like you're on your own and every time you talk to someone about it they
124. 20:38make fun of you or they tell you to shut up you stop Kyle Kyle KY Cy Cy KY listen could you stop talking about artificial
125. 20:46intelligence good God man I just I've had enough of this if you get that [ __ ] all the time this is your group and it's an amazing aming
126. 20:58community and and one of the things if you come here a lot you're probably like oh God here he goes with the values
127. 21:03again yeah I here I do go with the values again um we cracked uh this community cracked a thousand people last night so there's
128. 21:12a thousand members here and it's still a remarkable Community with generosity and spirit and curiosity and all sorts of
129. 21:20cool stuff and the reason for that is the values so so they're super important they they're who this group already is
130. 21:28and so as it grows I don't want to lose that we don't want to lose that so the first value is curiosity I want people
131. 21:36that are curious oh what a new thing came out I got to go try it oh that's really cool how do you do that what what
132. 21:42was the prompt behind that one right curiosity learn [ __ ] and then what's the next one generosity you know people are like oh
133. 21:51tell me how to do that you never hear from them again they piss you off right the the the information hoarders we're too early in the in in
134. 22:02the evolution of generative AI right now to be stingy so we want people in here who are generous people that are willing to
135. 22:10introduce themselves and say hi people that are willing to say oh here's the here's the prompt I use her here's my
136. 22:17Approach so generosity big big piece of the community exploration is another one people that are adventurous willing to
137. 22:25you know go out there and and you know live in that uncomfortable place of the unknown there were there were 45 or 50
138. 22:33people in an's weekend GPT jams trying to figure out non-technical people most of them trying to figure out how to
139. 22:42incorporate how to get their GPT via an API to talk to zappier and make it function 45 or 50 people just exploring
140. 22:51in the uncomfortable horribleness of that that you know that place of like you really want to get there but you
141. 22:59realize I just don't have the skills to do this like that Gap is this miserable place but you know what it's important
142. 23:05enough you're willing to jump in there and do it and that's what that's what that was collaboration that it also
143. 23:10exemplified that um inclusion people are coming from everywhere all different backgrounds all different experience levels and then finally
144. 23:19empathy people are scared right now people are excited people are pissed off people are Reinventing themselves
145. 23:29people are getting laid off people are it's like there's all sorts of [ __ ] going on so an important piece of this
146. 23:35is you know someone may come into this community cranky and cynical and we should hear them yeah what are you cranky about what are you
147. 23:45cynical about wow yeah that must be awful have you tried this stuff yet no cool let's try it right now right
148. 23:55huge so if those values resonate with you this is your people if they don't that's totally cool it's totally cool not your people it's
149. 24:06you know it's the the organism will will reject you and you won't like it so so please check those out now if you dig
150. 24:13them great okay so here's the first thing I want you to do first thing I want you to do if you join under the Community

152. 24:31don't just say hey I'm here I want to learn AI tell us who you are tell us what you do what's your background what have you tried with AI

155. 24:57want you to go so one of the amazing things about these lives if you've never been to one of these lives is that there
156. 25:04is a whole community of people that show up to these things every single night it's amazing these lives become a jam session
157. 25:16and the this Salon website has become a place where we can jam and and you can connect with people and they're called
158. 25:25the Irregulars they named themselves that I think it's great that that we have a posi and the posi is called the
159. 25:30Irregulars and here's the exciting thing so first thing I want you to do if you join introduce yourself next thing I

161. 25:42past the guilds and you're going to get to clubs and the first Club you're going to see is a i l l Irregulars the
162. 25:51Irregulars Channel and then there's there's kind of two areas here there's share cool things and there's chat so I
163. 25:57haven't it just hit me that that we can do this that I want to turn the chat section of the Irregulars channel into a
164. 26:05place where because it's sometimes hard to chat with with um with uh Tik Tok so if you've got questions like I one of the nicknames for this
165. 26:19channel is Chad add I'm all over the [ __ ] place so if you have a question there's people here that can likely
166. 26:25answer your question so go to the chat area which is the second little column and ask questions have conversations
167. 26:33with each other troll me I don't give a [ __ ] make fun you know have fun just but just chat let's have a chat session
168. 26:38there and then the share cool things section as you play tonight one of the things that you'll find is that the

176. 27:46um um how you get started with cat GPT is go to cat GPT how do I do that Kyle do I have to install that on my computer go to chat. open.com
177. 27:58it's the first thing on this list so there's chat gbt 3.5 which is the free version and then there's also this thing
178. 28:05called chat GPT plus which gives you access to chat GPT 4 in my opinion if you can afford the 20 bucks a month it
179. 28:12is probably the most important 20 bucks you can spend if you're trying to get AI literate okay so so where this list
180. 28:21starts is you know here all of these bullet points are all the different things that chat GPT can do you should
181. 28:28learn them all and and not even learn them I like that makes it that makes it seem like [ __ ] work you should play
182. 28:34with them all you should really explore what chat gbt can do it's it it is mind-bogglingly powerful and we can
183. 28:42we'll play tonight I'll show you stuff tonight um so that's where to start and then if you've been playing for a while
184. 28:48and if you're like well I want to do the pictures or I want to do what are the other ones I could use um right below
185. 28:53chat gbt there's kind of the the big four large language models claw Bard perplexity and co-pilot from Microsoft
186. 29:01below that are what I what I'm calling the specialty llms Pi grock llama 2 and llama 2 is kind of a whole open- Source World in
187. 29:13and of itself so that's a completely different thing and then po um but all of those are worth exploring then I got
188. 29:19an image Generation section with do mid Journey Kaa Deco here Leonardo and Firefly with links everything and
189. 29:26explanations of what they are then I got a video section then I got a music and audio section and then I got a 3D worlds and
190. 29:35object section and then finally I've got here's people you should follow if you're trying to get AI literate follow
191. 29:41this channel like follow it right now if you haven't followed it follow it um follow Ethan mullik Wharton
192. 29:48business school Professor does just he just does amazing stuff that helps you understand the impact of this stuff
193. 29:55David Shapiro if you're a geek and you're not following David Shapiro you're not you're not getting up to
194. 30:01speed on AI in my opinion Paul rer from the marketing AI Institute um he's been in this game longer than is reasonable
195. 30:11because the game the generative AI game is essentially a year and a half old maybe two or three years he started the
196. 30:19marketing AI Institute 5 years ago I missed the Kids Table what's the Kids Table oh oh oh yeah the kids table when I oh
197. 30:31yeah when I did the when I talk about the specialty llms it was called the Kids Table yeah I don't I haven't really
198. 30:37punished anyone in a while but I I might get back to that that's pretty funny um and then Rachel Woods here on Tik Tok
199. 30:44the AI exchange um I would say Rachel Woods is like if if if there was a flip side to the AI learning lab coin it's
200. 30:51the it's the AI exchange she's got her [ __ ] together she's she does not have ADD from what I can tell H she she seems
201. 30:59some somewhat uh somewhat more together with with planning and and uh incorporating this stuff in your
202. 31:06business um so a good a good uh a good counter to this channel is that Community it's another strong Community

213. 32:54a prompt and then try it in different tools we could do it with images or with words that could be interesting um I can
214. 33:03deep dive on stuff I can answer questions so if you've got questions about AI or or thoughts about it comments about

216. 33:21they're the ones pinning things my niece is a social worker working for the board of education is interested but the board won't pay
217. 33:35there's if they won't pay but won't block it start playing most of these tools have got free options let me let me go through the
218. 33:55list chat jbt 3.5 is is free so just chat. open.com is free Claude has a free version Bard is free perplexity has a free version and
219. 34:09perplexity is really good for like research and it does citations and you can search like you could search
220. 34:17Wikipedia from perplexity and it'll it'll you know it'll just give you search results from there with links so
221. 34:23good for Education Pi is free and I think in an education environment the ability to talk to a large language
222. 34:30model have have you seen P have you played with piie holy [ __ ] P wait te next time freeze any fruits or veggies
223. 34:38you put in kale is better when you can when you can't smell it see this is the thing about these kind of foods is
224. 34:52like I there I shouldn't have to have strategies for the food to not be [Laughter] horrible all right so piie so I'm on this is my
225. 35:06iPad C Pi Pi it the company is called inflection and then it's just like chat GPD it's got a little chat box at the
226. 35:18bottom and then it will talk to you you know like chat GPT does but and you can do this with chat gpt's app as well but
227. 35:26you but Pi's designed to do this I'm sitting here with a group of third graders and I want you to help me
228. 35:40come up with a game to teach them some [Music] math well Kyle let's put our thinking caps on and come up with a fun game that
229. 35:55will help these third graders get excited about math here's an idea a game called math Masters divide the kids into
230. 36:03teams and ask them math questions based on their grade level when a team answers a question correctly they get to move
231. 36:10one step forward on a track and the first team to reach the Finish Line wins you can also mix it up by including
232. 36:19physical activities for each correct answer for instance if they answer a multiplication problem correctly they
233. 36:27could do a specific number of jumping jacks or push-ups this will not only keep them active but also help them
234. 36:34better remember the math concepts right um like like remarkable stuff or just you know have the kids talk to it
235. 36:45have it have them come up with characters for a story and then work on the story together as a class right they
236. 36:52come up with things and then jump over to Microsoft co-pilot which can do images Bard can also now do images that's
237. 37:01free um Po's got a bunch of free stuff um dolly3 is free if you do it at Microsoft um so I just do that Coop
238. 37:15pilot.com and then and then the other stuff the the video and audio stuff you could do that but I mean there there's
239. 37:22so much to do just with that so if the if the school board isn't going to fund it that's that's a drag but if
240. 37:32they're not going to block it [ __ ] use it and oh join the um AI Salon the education Guild with Mr K and with Stacy
