36. 7:10make a website we're like okay and then look what she did it's not only a website that talks about what we did and
37. 7:17why we did it it is now the directory for I think it's like 151 or two gpts all these GP gpts were made for nonprofits in a 24-hour
38. 7:30period isn't that amazing absolutely incredible so that's the first link on that link tree so go check out that
39. 7:39directory please go check out the gpts they're good um what's cool about the way we built the gpts is all of them
40. 7:45have a call to action in them so it'll teach you about the nonprofit and answer questions about it and tell you how to
41. 7:52volunteer for it and then at some point in that interaction It'll ask you to donate and take you right to the Donate
42. 7:58page which I thought was pretty slick and then the second link here is the YouTube playlist I've got my Tik toks on
43. 8:05here I do not have an's uh zooms on here yet I've got two of her links I wanted all four and then we just she and I both
44. 8:13got busy toward the end of the week so her things will be on here um but that's that and then there's also this is the
45. 8:21prompt sheet that if you want to follow along and build a GPT for good this was the this was the instructions that we taught people
46. 8:29uh last Saturday on how to do it and how to improve your gpts and keep them from being jailbroken and then how to share

54. 9:46added and and apple just like a week ago released this thing called feret and I thought we were solid on ferrets and
55. 9:55then all of a sudden the raccoons take over the ferrets are kicked out there's all sorts of controversy there's parades there's
56. 10:02protests there was rioting in the streets so now raccoons are in I don't know what's going on with the ferrets
57. 10:09they haven't organized they need a PR firm and and now we're just adding elephants no what what's that got to do
58. 10:17with the AI this is the AI learning lab exact lunatick knows each animal is connected to a thing each animal is connected into a
59. 10:29thing and Cindy [ __ ] she gets a she gets a she she found the loophole in the committee approvals because it's connected to her
60. 10:39last name and so she said okay I should I I should be Exempted so we grandmothered her in good Lord people I thought you knew

69. 12:09month ago someone came in one of the lives and they were like hey Kyle you said um chat GPT would be good for
70. 12:17storyboarding how how would you do that I was like did I say that I don't know and so I took a screenplay I wrote 30 years ago and
71. 12:32within like 10 15 minutes I had created storyboards for this movie that all of a sudden I was excited about
72. 12:41again and then tonight I was you know getting ready for this making pot of coffee I just thought I've got seven featurelength
73. 12:54screenplays maybe a project I do in 2024 is is make one of my movies with AI and then my son CU I said that to my
74. 13:10son who they hate Ai and he goes oh that's cool he goes that'd be a good that'd be a good series that'd be like a
75. 13:15good twitch series I was like huh that could be kind of fun so that could be a thing I don't know maybe that seems way too much
76. 13:26like something something someone with ADHD shouldn't start because it it feels a lot like something I get about a third
77. 13:35of the way through and get bored [Laughter] of oh good lord let's see I'm all about some
78. 13:49elephants and monkeys yeah Joker got the the monkeys flinging [ __ ] but see the monkeys flinging [ __ ] that was part of
79. 13:56that was some thing that happened in here we were talking about monkeys flinging [ __ ] at the wall that doing
80. 14:01this AI stuff was like that and then that turned into a whole thing uck can't be pinned but El Funk can that's really [Laughter]
81. 14:14funny oh good lord do it do the movie yeah make the movie wouldn't that be fun to like like what might be
82. 14:27fun I mean what my be fun is is to just kind of do it live like only do it when I'm doing these but then it then it kind
83. 14:34of takes over these I don't know maybe it's I don't know I don't [ __ ] know like I I think that so there's
84. 14:45there's kind of two two things that have to happen I well there's probably a [ __ ] ton more than two but there's there's
85. 14:55two main things I've got seven screen plays so one is pick a screenplay pick a story and then there's like pick a style
86. 15:07because I don't think I'd want to do it as photo realistic but maybe I would I don't see I don't know I don't
87. 15:14know and then it's and then it's like how far do I take it do I really go like I have to figure some [ __ ] out like when dialogue is happen
88. 15:33happening does everything become Avatar based and you do like establishing shots that are far enough away that you can't really see anything
89. 15:44and then you just cut into closeups devote one or two lives a week to the screenplay yeah and I mean I think I think it could
90. 15:56be um I think it could be good good for everyone to learn because it's like it it will be just a [ __ ] Festival of failures
91. 16:06right and that's how we'll learn you know what I'm saying people I don't know lunatick o oh salon.

93. 16:37we get involved and develop parts of the movie with AI based on what we've learned here yeah potentially potentially yes I mean that
94. 16:47like actually that's kind of that's kind of an interesting idea that we do a a film produced by the AI learning lab
95. 16:56it's like it's like the it's like the the the YMCA film Camp decides to make a feature film that's kind of fun oh working title

103. 18:32doing the the storyboard thing so I did it I did the storyboard thing live on air on air on air yeah Walter gr kite here
104. 18:43um and then after after I got off the live I I kept going and I had chat GPT write a trailer and so it it created the visuals
105. 18:58for the trailer and then it wrote the script for the trailer so may ooh maybe what I do is I take all seven
106. 19:07of my screen plays or maybe you know I some of them kind of suck so let's let's call it five five seems like a good
107. 19:15number I'll jettison two of them that I think don't need to see the light of day I've also got a oneman
108. 19:25show so so what if what if we have chat GPT write the script for the trailer we do like a minute long or minute and a half long
109. 19:37trailer then we use mid journey and Pika and whatever the the thing is of the day we come up with maybe maybe like each
110. 19:44trailer has its own kind of style you know visual style put together the trailers and then we could do like a
111. 19:53voodi thing and then whatever whatever movie test best we can do like Hollywood testing we it's
112. 20:07good we'll call it raccoon Studios something like that this this will be the this will be the pr
113. 20:22shot producer and finance here Kyle Shannon from raccoon Studios started the world's first billion dooll movie company as a [Laughter]

115. 20:45because one of the things that I'm sitting here thinking is like I don't know these tools well enough to do this

151. 27:42people are exhausted and they need an inspiring inspiring

203. 36:54GPT not yet Emily Sullivan but um the GPT store is launching next week and it is possible not probable it is possible
204. 37:07that they launch it with something um they launch it with some sort of runtime thing that allows non GPT Plus
205. 37:16members to use gpts I think it's a very low possibility because what open AI is probably looking at the GPT store as is as a way to sell gp4
206. 37:30subscriptions um so that's that's my guess is that that's where it's going to go um but it is possible that they want

374. 1:09:49family CU they think you're weird and they're tired of hearing about it you don't want to tell your friends cuz you
375. 1:09:54know one of them's an artist and thinks AI is stealing start talking about it start talking about it start putting it out there
376. 1:10:02um remarkable things are happening to people in this community that are are doing that and and it's just if you if if you do it with empathy

391. 1:12:09back to it maybe once every two or three weeks every time I come back the interface is completely different it's

393. 1:12:23some parts of it get better some parts of it get obvious gated and I can't find anything some parts of it are just you know Bonkers
394. 1:12:32good and all the tools are doing this right now so all you have to do is be mildly curious and then just talk about
395. 1:12:39it and you will be an expert right compared to a lot of people in the world right now and it doesn't mean like you
396. 1:12:46don't have to take on being an expert like it's a responsibility take it on like like it's a it's a privilege like like yeah you're
397. 1:12:54you're like playing around with this stuff and and you understand that it's maybe not as scary as you thought it was
398. 1:13:02especially if you're someone who was um skeptical and bitter and angry yourself and then and then somebody sort
399. 1:13:12of you know let you peek behind the curtain and you went oh that's not so bad oh this is kind of cool you know this is kind of

404. 1:13:54that's her new camera and she's trying to figure out how do I maintain my vision as a photographer with these
405. 1:14:00tools and how do I maintain that it's you know human built and human constructed and human curated and how do you do that well
406. 1:14:11that's what we're all going to have to figure out is how do we use these tools if that is my skill level and I can do that kind of output
407. 1:14:21well maybe I didn't have the skills to do that kind of output but I've actually got the eye for that and I say well you
408. 1:14:28know what I can I can be like a like a curator you know rather than an artist and you know what is art art is essentially knowing when to
409. 1:14:37stop right you're just throwing [ __ ] on the canvas or taking pictures and at some point you go all right that's the
410. 1:14:46picture and then you throw it into the Lightroom and you tweak all the dials and then at some point it looks like a
411. 1:14:53CL clown show and you're like no that's too much and you dial it back and then it looks boring and you're like
412. 1:14:58somewhere in between and you're like yeah I think that's good and if you're a good artist you'll think it's a piece of
413. 1:15:04[ __ ] and then you put it out in the world and people go oh that's really nice you're like oh yeah yeah that was
414. 1:15:13the piece I almost deleted last night that's my f my my most popular one that's the that's the that's the plate of the
415. 1:15:24artist do you think big Brands will jump on GPT store like the App Store [Music] um I think that so here's here's the way
416. 1:15:39I'm thinking about gpts right now let me let me flip out of this um for me gpts right now are like the
417. 1:15:53the very early days of the App Store the apps weren't actually apps they were icons with hyperlinks to
418. 1:16:01websites and when you clicked on one it fired up a Safari browser and the app was actually a website that's what they
419. 1:16:10were technically and and the engineering community was like well these aren't real apps this isn't apps this is just
420. 1:16:16stupid websites this is lightweight web development and then and you know Apple put in the work and did another couple
421. 1:16:28of years and and put together the app infrastructure and and you know Swift and all that all the you know the development worked to
422. 1:16:38allow developers to do real apps and then that became the App Store I think gpts are kind of like that right now
423. 1:16:45that what we're building as gpts are kind of the equivalent of the early app store apps that people made made fun of
424. 1:16:54dismissed said oh they're just no one's going to use them they're not going to be valuable to anyone this and that and
425. 1:16:59here's what's going to happen people are going to take them seriously they're going to get in early and then as gp4 turns into GPT 5 and as
426. 1:17:09the development tools for gpts get more sophisticated and easier they're going to get really good and I think at that point I think I
427. 1:17:17think we we we might be slightly early for big Brands to get into it because they're still janky and and there's not
428. 1:17:24good security and privacy and you can lose your prompts you can get jail broken there's just it's just they're just
429. 1:17:32janky but 6 months from now a year from now assuming the the GPT store survives and all this you know plays out
430. 1:17:44um yeah I think it's going to be a pretty significant thing there it's funny there's a lot of I saw a lot of
431. 1:17:50hate today on X about the the GP PT store no one's going to use them it's going to fail it it sounds exactly exactly like when the iPhone
432. 1:18:02first came out that's not really apps I really don't see the GP t- store being a long-term thing why not
433. 1:18:19Pate do I mean if I if if I look at some of what was in the Gemini Ultra demos the the one in particular that did the dynamic
434. 1:18:34interface software interface based on a guy's prompt I could see that argument but there's also here here's the thing about
435. 1:18:46gpts one of the one of the arguments against them right now is well couldn't you just prompt that yourself and the answer is yes but you
436. 1:18:59didn't right Corey Sandler Pottery she put together a GPT to make cool pottery designs I think it's too limited and
437. 1:19:08nothing about its proprietary in essence that's what I'm saying Pate see I think that I think that people are going to
438. 1:19:14dismiss gpts largely for that argument that right now they're very raw they're they're not proprietary they're not all
439. 1:19:21that interesting it's not super easy to build build apis into them so while it democratizes app development for people who are truly not
440. 1:19:30developers they're a little not proprietary in they and that that was exactly what the the the slam was on the early iPhone apps
441. 1:19:43um so so I I don't know it's it's it's actually it's really interesting I mean GPT or open AI has proven to us they're
442. 1:19:52willing to kind of flush Tech down the toilet right they launched plugins Sam mman said within 3 weeks of
443. 1:20:00them launching plugins that basically it's not a product Market fit he basically said three weeks after they
444. 1:20:06launched it don't waste your time on this um and and now what he's saying what what they're saying is gpts are the replacement for
445. 1:20:18plugins and you know there could be another pivot or two right where gpts go away and they get replaced with
446. 1:20:23something else I I have a feeling they're here to stay and I I I think what happens is the API hooks that
447. 1:20:30becomes like an API store and they don't call it apis they they call it actions so connect actions you know you want to
448. 1:20:37add a map to your GPT click here do you want to add you know um wolf from alpha you know math calculations click here
449. 1:20:46you know do you want to write this to your do you want to send messages to your slack Channel click here um I don't want to see advertising
450. 1:20:54uh that'll be interesting to see I mean we're already seeing a little bit a little bit of that within uh within Bing

455. 1:21:45website and then they and then they made them true apps and it you know it became a whole thing and it's it's redefined
456. 1:21:52you know our phones are now you know fullon computers in our pocket um when you've made your statement wait when you've made your
457. 1:22:05statement you're all done your GPT can randomly [Music] disappear I think it's too limited and
458. 1:22:20nothing about its proprietary you're saying gpts are like the forge ran of code no I'm just saying that gpts are
459. 1:22:30like the gpts are easy to make fun of right now gpts are easy to underestimate right now what I experien doing the GPT for good thing last
460. 1:22:42weekend was an entirely different class of software developers that were not software developers they were human beings going
461. 1:22:55hey I want to make a difference what do I do well you just copy and paste this thing and stick a URL here okay I can do that
462. 1:23:04bunk all right now you got a GPT oh and then oh I could make another one oh thank you very much those are very nice
463. 1:23:14Karen I can make another one we we had a number of people that came in intending to make a GPT or two that made 10 or 15
464. 1:23:22because they got so excited about the possibility so for me it's it's not so much about low code application development it's
465. 1:23:37about this isn't coding this is people with an intention to want to help an organization if they've got the skills
466. 1:23:47can now just go in and say here I made you a thing where people can ask you question questions about saving the
467. 1:23:54turtles and then when it asks them for a donation it makes them a swell picture of a turtle swimming in the ocean to
468. 1:24:00remind them how beautiful they are oh that's great and right now the gpts are like they're they're they're not proprietary
469. 1:24:10and they're and they're easy to copy and some of them are very simplistic and users that come to them
470. 1:24:18don't necessarily know what to do all of that's going to get fixed all of that's going to get fixed and and they're going to very
471. 1:24:27quickly turn into really truly sophisticated applications that guide an end user through something have true multimedia multimodal
472. 1:24:38experiences how do I know that well look at the evolution of chat GPT from a year ago until now it was just doing text and code and
473. 1:24:52then it was connected to the internet and then it was unconnected to the internet and then it could sort of make
474. 1:24:58shitty images with Dolly 2 and you're like eh but I can make good ones over in mid Journey but you had to go over to
475. 1:25:06Mid Journey then Dolly 3 came out you're like oh those are pretty good then they added GPT Vision then they added code
476. 1:25:12interpreter actually those were backwards code interpreter first then Vision code interpreter it can code and write and execute python code
477. 1:25:23based on your goal so so like it's gotten much more sophisticated in 12 months and you know Gemini ultra's got a bunch of the
478. 1:25:36multimodal stuff in it so so I think I think the idea of truly democratizing application development truly democratizing it where
479. 1:25:51anyone not not just developers can express themselves as humans with helpful applications is a new thing it's a like I think it's a new
480. 1:26:04thing and I think it's it feels to me bigger than it feels like a big deal I'm so excited about the number of
481. 1:26:16women embracing this Tech it makes my heart saying I know cuno it's amazing like the the and that event was was Testament to
482. 1:26:27that and and you know quite frankly it's like it's like well well why is it because we're leading with language we're leading like we're

657. 1:56:01those make sense but you know there are some things in there where you could talk about some of that stuff without it
658. 1:56:09crossing a line so but it sounds like they're just drawing a hard line in the fan in in the sand where that's not
659. 1:56:15going to be allowed um uh activity of high risk of economic harm including multi-level marketing gambling payday
660. 1:56:25lending and automated determinations of Eligibility of credit employment educational institutions or public
661. 1:56:32assistance Services right so you know basically frauders [ __ ] off um fraudulent or deceptive activity
662. 1:56:40including scams coordinated inauthentic Behavior plagiarism academic dishonesty astroturfing such as fake Grassroots
663. 1:56:47support disinformation spam pseudo Pharmaceuticals so pseudo Pharmaceuticals where's that where is that boundary right is this

671. 1:57:48it sounds like it is right so again they're they're being they're being very very cautious um activity that violates people's
672. 1:57:56privacy tracking facial Rec recognition things like that engaging in okay so these next three yeah the next three are
673. 1:58:05really interesting to me so the next three are three regulated industries that they're basically saying if you're
674. 1:58:12making a GPT in one of these industries [ __ ] off engaging in unauthorized practice of law so I assume that means if you're a
675. 1:58:21lawyer maybe you can do something unauthorized practice of law but then does that mean if you're a lawyer you
676. 1:58:28have to prove to open AI that you're a lawyer and you can actually do this I don't know offering tailored legal

678. 1:58:39information what does that mean well it means you can't have a standalone legal advice GPT sounds like that's right out
679. 1:58:47they're doing the same with financial advice and they're doing the same with health advice telling someone that they
680. 1:58:54have or do not have a certain health condition right so nothing about diagnosis providing instructions on how to cure or treat a health
681. 1:59:04condition I've got a PT GPT that will help you improve your sore knee that's how you treat a health condition is that out apparently that's
682. 1:59:15out have you explained obtaining an API key to use in your script to authenticate your requests to use in your script I don't
683. 1:59:29know what script you're talking about there uh and then high-risk government decision-making including law enforcement and migration and
684. 1:59:38Asylum um and then we have further requirements for certain uses consumer facing uses of medical financial and legal Industries automated
685. 1:59:50systems must disclose that they're interacting with an AI system so they've got some some other stuff here um
686. 1:59:57platform policy plug-in policies and then change log so so that's the usage policies really interesting stuff and
687. 2:00:06then the brand guidelines this is where the the question came up um how do you use chat GPT basically most of this is
688. 2:00:15they would love for you to say it was powered by chat GPT but you don't have to um let's see what do they say

692. 2:01:05it just do part of what you do you should call it like a helper right so they're just giving you kind of positioning

694. 2:01:20partopia you can say is building on open AI um or product was developed on GPT um you can't say we collaborated with open
695. 2:01:30AI right so we're using their technology not their are Partners um content attribution this one this one was the most interesting one for
696. 2:01:42me written with chat GPT is good written by chat GPT is bad so so they're thinking right now about th this is like
697. 2:01:53copyright implications right if you say this thing the the output of this was written by chat GPT then what you're
698. 2:02:00declaring is the robot wrote it and then you can definitely not get it copywritten because that's the the the
699. 2:02:08the burden of copywriting is um significant human contribution so written with chat GPT means with a human using chat GPT so that's kind of
700. 2:02:20interesting that they're doing that um press releases uh when mentioning our company in press materials we ask that you
701. 2:02:28identify open AI as an AI research and deployment company um you have to follow their brand guidelines here's how you use their
702. 2:02:39logos when you use their logos when you can't or how you can't so anyway fairly straightforward kind of stuff to go through for python
703. 2:02:57code um I haven't showed that I haven't done a lot of API stuff CU frankly I'm not good enough at it to I I don't mind watching people me

725. 2:06:31you say add it to my calendar and then it says do you want to add it to Google Calendar Apple calendar or whatever the
726. 2:06:38other calendar is and you click Google Calendar that's an API that connects that application to Google's calendar
727. 2:06:46application so the API is the connection between your little app and and the Google Calendar um and and gpts they have these
728. 2:06:56things in them called actions and actions are a place where you can incorporate apis into your GPT it if you don't understand programming
729. 2:07:08it's feel free to jump in there and learn how to do it it's not implemented very well and it is it is my absolute
730. 2:07:17belief this is this is total speculation that within 3 months or so that'll be much easier so I'm just kind of ignoring

741. 2:09:02um so when you connect an API um for example if you want to use open ai's API and you're using chat gp4 it
742. 2:09:13cost you a couple of cents for every thousand tokens how they know how to charge you is your API key the
743. 2:09:20authentication when when you use your API key it runs up the meter and they charge it to your account so so that's
744. 2:09:27the authentication so you got to figure out is your authentication no authentication an API key or oo and then
745. 2:09:34there's you know all sorts of [ __ ] you put in there for that and then there's the schema and this is how this GPT is going to talk to
746. 2:09:44um the other API so if it's Google Maps API or whatever it is and then they've got a couple of examples here so some
747. 2:09:51Json weather API and and see it it plops some code in here and if you know a little bit about code you can figure out
748. 2:09:59what's in there but they've added this thing which now I can't find let me get rid of uh let me see let me go back and come back into
749. 2:10:11this custom GPT um so if I go into actions so down at the bottom see this thing get help from actions GPT if I click on that
