6. 0:57the channel because I I do this a lot go there go to chat.openai.com that is the official chatgpt website and just start
7. 1:05playing while I ramble on um you know follow examples that I show but also just you know pop in things
8. 1:11that you're curious about interested in see if it can do stuff like challenge it ask it to do things you think it's not
9. 1:18possible for it to do and then when it does it just just pick your jaw back up off the floor and uh and keep going
10. 1:27um so yeah so those things those URLs right there if you're new here are I put these up here just as kind of a public service announcement
11. 1:34all three of those are places where you can play with chat gbt oh your favorite Channel thank you so much
12. 1:42that's silly I'm just like an old dude sitting here chatting uh chat about AI but I appreciate the kind words I hope I
13. 1:50hope this makes a difference um about those top one is chat EPT second one is Bing that's Microsoft's search
14. 1:58engine but it also has a chat button and if you go to that chat button that's gpt4 for free free well they stick some
15. 2:06ads in there and then there's Poe and Poe gives you access to Poe's version of chat GPT anthropics Claude models and
16. 2:15chat gbt three and four you have to pay for some of those things but you get to compare the different models and it's
17. 2:21pretty good for newbies also the speed of chat gbt does things it is alarmingly fast it is alarmingly fast um did that
18. 2:32here's what here's here's here's what shifts for me with chat gbt you know the like let's say you've got a thing you
19. 2:40gotta write whatever the thing is you got to write a letter you gotta write a bio you gotta write a social media post
20. 2:45you know like the hour or two that you normally take to do the first draft well that happens in 30 seconds so you get to like 80 percent of
21. 3:00completion in like 30 seconds and then you have that two hours rather than taking you know two hours or an hour or
22. 3:07whatever it is half an hour to get to the first draft you're kind of instantly at the first draft and what it's done
23. 3:12for me is it loud it allows me to live at a higher creative level um just more consistently like I'm I'm
24. 3:19not getting stuck down in the weeds of that that that kind of lower level execution just like blocking out the
25. 3:25words blocking out the outline whatever it is made a three-course meal with GPT tonight nice guacamole biryan tacos and
26. 3:34strawberry nice that's awesome I'm gonna use it to revamp my LinkedIn page that's actually a really good idea
27. 3:41oh that's really interesting let's go do that let's go do something live with that I think that's a really cool idea let's go

48. 6:46paste in my LinkedIn profile um let's see can you recommend um things I can do to improve it
49. 7:06as well as some ideas for what um I don't know let's just let's just let's just keep it simple

52. 7:38this wealth of experience and skills apparently chat GPT is an ego boost as well Kyle is an awesome human being no it doesn't say that
53. 7:48uh what does it say still here are a few recommendations improve the profile summary your profile summary is a great
54. 7:55place to Showcase your personality passion and unique value proposition hey how's it going what's your value proposition
55. 8:04um well the current summary does a decent job of this consider making it more concise powerful focusing on your key achievements
56. 8:12um goals and skills okay before I read the other ones I'm going to say um awesome oh by the way saying things
57. 8:19like awesome and please and thank you to chatgpt just starts to happen after you start talking with it because it's like
58. 8:26it's like working with chat gbt once you get into it is kind of like working with a remote co-worker that's [ __ ]
59. 8:33smarter than anyone you've ever worked with that's kind of kind of what the experience is awesome GPT um can you wait Can you please
60. 8:46um show me my current profile and then write me a new one based on your Reco
61. 9:03mendations question mark and it should do that sure I can provide a revised version of your summary so so
62. 9:11this is one of the things chat EBT is really good at is like analyzing other things you could put another thing in
63. 9:17there and do that or you can say here's a blog post I wrote now write me a new post on the I don't know Mesopotamian
64. 9:24War following that blog you know profile all right current profile my background and skills are eclectic
65. 9:34but a Common Thread that has emerged is storytelling in one form or another that's true I wrote that okay there's my
66. 9:41experience proposed profile as an accomplished entrepreneur I merge storytelling technology and creativity

76. 10:53LinkedIn profile in there sorry I don't normally do that but I thought that was an interesting exercise um these URLs the top one is the
77. 11:01official chat GPT website I'm not connected with these in any way this is just um me trying to make it less confusing
78. 11:09um the top one is the official chatgpt website the next one is Bing that's Microsoft's search engine but also has a
79. 11:15chat button if you click that chat button that's chat gpt4 and then pro.com lets you play with a bunch of different
80. 11:22um chat chat large language models and compare them um so so those three are good and then prompts.chat teaches you
81. 11:29how to prompts and future PDF is just a list of tools if you want to geek out excuse me I just had a big uh I went out with
82. 11:38one of my employees is in town and invited me out to dinner so I was just out and had a large Italian dinner and I'm I'm really um full
83. 11:48so so I'm having coffee you gotta wake up I'm having like a post lunch slump but it was dinner okay all right does prompts.chat have a
84. 12:03prompt for LinkedIn I don't know but just go load it and then just do a find on the page and see if there's a
85. 12:09LinkedIn one there but you can just like you can see what I just did there you can just copy and paste your LinkedIn profile you can say
86. 12:16um you know act as a marketing consultant or act as a consultant that specializes in um LinkedIn marketing and positioning or
87. 12:30something like that just tell you you don't need to do super you don't need to be super specific with that stuff if you
88. 12:36just kind of put it in the neighborhood it'll be pretty good but because it's reading your existing LinkedIn profile
89. 12:41it's going to be able to pull a lot of stuff out of that the trick with these GPT models is to provide them with a lot
90. 12:46of context like more than you think Google for years has trained us just put like the minimum amount that that makes sense into the chat box
91. 12:55otherwise it'll screw things up and you'll get way too many things check EBT is kind of the opposite it's like be a
92. 13:01bit more flowery in your language and and you know treat it like a person and say okay you know I've got an idea for
93. 13:07the Great American novel and here's some ideas and I want you to help me organize the outline and that that you know ask
94. 13:15me some questions about it and you give it lots of context and then it does pretty well oh snap big bing plug-in now too really
95. 13:24did that happen if that happened that would be cool that's Poe that's not big that's Twitter that's not Bing here's Bing chat
96. 13:38I don't send a plugins why do you say the plugins I did not see the plugins um Microsoft has said they will support

105. 15:07pay for GPT plus that's the little yellow flag there if you want to turn on um the internet and the plugins you have to go to your settings
106. 15:16so at the bottom of the screen here I click on my name I click on settings and then you go to Beta features
107. 15:26and you see where it says browse with Bing and plugins you have to turn those on because they're beta features I guess they
108. 15:33maybe they don't let too many people using it's funny Sam Altman said the other day that he doesn't feel that
109. 15:37there's a product Market fit for plugins but he's made it really [ __ ] hard to find them so you got to do that and then
110. 15:44now I've got three different modes of of gpt4 I've got default I've got browse with Bing and I've got plugins so I just
111. 15:52click uh browse with Bing and now if I go to my LinkedIn profile I copy it and then I go back to chat JP Tay make money with chat back hey
112. 16:06um based on this LinkedIn profile colon URL right wait sorry URL
113. 16:22um let's see um what um what are the most relevant experiences
114. 16:39um if I want to be a tick tock influencer [Laughter] even though I don't know how to twerk

116. 17:07LinkedIn profile directly due to linkedin's website oh I guess it can't log in because it's you've gotta you've got to sign in
117. 17:14so I can't do that but let's okay so there's more than one one mile there's more than one way to skin the
118. 17:22cat which is that's probably triggering to someone because like you shouldn't be violent to animals I'm I'm old in Gen X
119. 17:29and that's just the way I talk so sorry all right I mean no harm to cats let's go to plugins so so here's the other
120. 17:37thing when you have the way plugins work you you have these three modes you go to the plugins mode and then you click on this
121. 17:47pull down menu and you see a long list of plugins that I've got installed and then for each session you can activate
122. 17:54up to three so I've got three activated right now that are related to travel because I showed that as an example last
123. 18:02time but let's go to the plug-in store so the plug-in store has it takes it a while to load because they're probably
124. 18:13using some shitty database here because because chat GPT was tossed together over a weekend basically and that's not too far from the truth
125. 18:22come on man load load all right we're gonna go all let's see wow there are now 98 pages of four plugins each so like
126. 18:35three days ago there were 250 now there's almost 400. holy [ __ ] okay so we're gonna go to search plugins we're
127. 18:43gonna see if there's a LinkedIn plugin LinkedIn no plugins for LinkedIn all right there you go go read the documentation for writing plugins
128. 18:52they're really easy make a LinkedIn plugin you'll be rich yeah oh I don't know if you knew this if you haven't been here before I'm an idiot

132. 19:33awesome did it work that's super cool crazy ass guy and I'm not calling him a crazy ass guy because I'm being
133. 19:41derogatory that's his self-proclaimed name crazy ass guy you're crazy ass guy all right no religion take the religion
134. 19:55out please I used AI to summarize a macro what revonomic I found it weak AI confused prediction and projection
135. 20:10um okay I don't know what that is if you if you have really deep knowledge in something so so I don't I have no idea how how you're using it
136. 20:22if you're prompting catch EBT in kind of a generic way it may give you generic answers there may be areas where where
137. 20:30it doesn't have things if you haven't tried it tell it to act as a specialist in oh I I assume that maybe that means macro economic
138. 20:40macro revonomic I don't know what revonomic is but if it meant if you meant economic but basically tell it to be a specialist
139. 20:47in that area the the way the large language models work if you don't narrow it into kind of a semantic Canyon where
140. 20:55where you're so so here's a way to explain it Andre carpathy from openai was explaining how these things were and and
141. 21:03um oh [ __ ] what was the example he used um oh okay he was saying so if you ask chat GPT to solve a complicated math problem
142. 21:12for you it'll sort of look at all of the data it knows which is essentially all of the internet and it and it will say
143. 21:19okay this person wants to solve the math problem and it will look at all of its data and it'll find all the places where
144. 21:25people solve that math problem now within all those people that solve that math problem there are math professors
145. 21:32who know how to solve it and then there are lots and lots of students who don't know how to solve it chat apt doesn't
146. 21:38know the difference it's just looking at all of them and sort of amalgamating answers and that's why it hallucinates
147. 21:44right because it's it's sort of pulling things from everywhere it doesn't actually know it's not copying and
148. 21:49pasting specific references it's kind of averaging the [ __ ] together so if you say I want you to act as an advanced
149. 21:56mathematics professor and I want you to answer this specific kind of problem it narrows it into a semantic Canyon that's
150. 22:02going to be more likely to have correct answers in it so if you didn't do that that's something worth trying and there
151. 22:08there are also things that chatgpt is not going to be good at right now and also four will be better than 3.5
152. 22:15um could you have instead entered it into chatgpt first and then typed a second prompt referencing it um
153. 22:26that's kind of what I did I mean on the on the second prompt um but you can't there's not a way so chat TBT is a very very thin application
154. 22:38right now it doesn't have a lot of features it doesn't have memory like it's got It's got sort of this 3000 word
155. 22:44sliding context window that sort of member memory in a session and you can go back to a chat um but but it doesn't quite have memory
156. 22:52you can't like dump it in and say I want to keep referencing that thing I think that's something that will come like
157. 22:58that's a really good feature that they should do all right chat GPT can make a person feel like Hugh Hefner uh okay
158. 23:06um I was just telling you how to write one it didn't tell you anything about your paste past it's just telling you how to write one
159. 23:14it didn't tell you anything about your past yeah it did it did it told me I found it agency.com it told me I founded storyline it told
160. 23:22me I was the chief generative officer at Clinton evolution now like I was just doing it quick on the Fly Like if I were actually looking
161. 23:31at that I probably dig a bit deeper um you should like the fact that you're critiquing it is good like that's that's
162. 23:39a thing you should do when you work with these large language models is critique them oh by the way it looks like there's
163. 23:44new people here here if you're wondering who the hell I am I'm not Rosie O'Donnell and I'm not fat Alec Baldwin but I've been accused of
164. 23:51that in the past week a couple others too um these URLs right here if you've not played with with chat GPT it is my
165. 24:00strong strong wish desire that you just go there and do it the top one is the official chat GPT website the next one
166. 24:06down is Bing that's Microsoft's version of chat GPT it's gpt4 for free and po lets you play with a bunch of them
167. 24:12prompts.chat will teach you about prompting and give you a bunch of examples to go play with and like show
168. 24:18you how [ __ ] capable these models are and then future PD is just like an infinite list of all the AI tools like
169. 24:25you know every tool a rabbit hole so if you've got ADHD this is your time in history because these tools are [ __ ]
170. 24:33insane have you seen Jen Jen uh Gen 2 by Runway check this out 80d moment of the day uh let's see Twitter

173. 25:16please yeah so so I did this thing on LinkedIn so check out this video so this was this video was this was my
174. 25:30first attempt at making a text to video using Runway ml their Gen 2 text to video tool so I typed in woman walking
175. 25:40through field of flowers with the breeze blowing cinematic tracking shot it only does four second Snippets and they don't
176. 25:48have any sound but but this was literally my first attempt and it made that in like 30 seconds so just from a text prompt so this is
177. 25:58this is where we're heading and it's it's uh runwayml they have an app the app right now it seems like they're rolling
178. 26:05this feature out to to I don't have it yet in the in the iPhone app but if you go to their Discord server you basically go into
179. 26:16so I'm in the if you don't know what Discord is this this is Discord these are different servers so I'm in the
180. 26:22runway server and then these are different channels and see these things that say generate one two three so
181. 26:29that's where I can generate something so how you generate something in the runway server is you say at gen Dash 2
182. 26:40and then you type in your prompt so we'll do um let's see 1901 race car um um
183. 26:55in Indian appleis 500. and then so it goes off and generates something and the other thing it does which is weird so I'm in this Gen 2
184. 27:10Channel and it says it it sent my thing off and then what it does it it actually spawns a thread so so this sort of Gen 2 thread
185. 27:21where it's going to actually show the thing but it says text prompt 1901 race car CFG scale 10 interpolate false upscale
186. 27:31false there's the seed number so the seeds cool with these generative AI things like if I want to do other
187. 27:37Generations that are similar to this one once it comes out I can use that seed and then green screen is false so so
188. 27:43those are some of the parameters that are available available to you obviously and then that's going to go off and do
189. 27:49its thing I don't know how long it's going to take but I'll come back and check that out anyway that's gen 2. that's pretty slick stuff
190. 27:56all right week I don't know what was weak but probably me I am weak I'm weak I'm an old man I'm old I'm tired the
191. 28:05muscle mass is drifting away it's falling off the bones I'm getting brittle can you make money with Chachi BT you can make money
192. 28:15here's the deal Chachi PT is just a tool you can make money with anything you can make money with a bread maker
193. 28:23you can make money with a shovel you can make money with Photoshop you can make money with chat gbt the first step is to understand what the
194. 28:32tool is and what it's good at the the amazing thing about chat EBT is it's good at a lot how you make money is you solve
195. 28:40someone's problem in an elegant enough way that they're willing to pay you money for it like that's business that's
196. 28:46that that's how you make money with chat GPT so it could be you want to make t-shirts okay great chatgpt makes it really easy
197. 28:53to make t-shirts that's great you know what's the bad part it makes it really easy for other people to make t-shirts
198. 28:59right so so the comp the competition for t-shirts just went up right because it's it's going to be really easy for people
199. 29:06that historically weren't good at copywriting now they're going to be great at copywriting um so so what I would say is it's why I
200. 29:14keep pointing people to these um these URLs if you haven't played with these tools Step One is go play with the tools
201. 29:21and what I would say is take the thing that you're really good at and start digging deeper on the thing
202. 29:26that you're really good at see what they can do and then start thinking about huh have I ever had an idea for a business
203. 29:31or is there anything where I could you know solve someone's problem or entertain them right whatever is is within kind of Who You Are
204. 29:39and then use chechi PT to help you figure that out and that's how you make money with chat gbt all right
205. 29:48um that was sort of a random question in the middle I'm trying to go back to where I was before because I have some
206. 29:52sort of weird OCD thing where I gotta answer all the questions I'm like must answer all the questions oh I missed one what am I gonna do
207. 30:02and that's how I normally talk by the way all right I'm back to where I was I gotta find the one where the where the Nadia called me weak
208. 30:17Nadia you've been here before I don't think you were calling me weak I think you were calling something it did we definitely hi Jen
209. 30:25uh he's gonna need one terabyte of space that's why we have cloud storage because because between Google Drive and iCloud
210. 30:34like I don't worry about my hard drive size anymore just [ __ ] goes up to the cloud and then I eventually
211. 30:42I don't ever throw anything away I'm a digital hoarder by the way anyone else digital hoarders Gen X or digital
212. 30:48hoarders it's like I'll go back to that 40 megabyte hard drive that I that I filled with [ __ ] in 1994. here's a
213. 30:58for the Gen xers out there here's the side quest drive from Urban desires my uh online magazine that I started in 1994.
214. 31:06why do I have that I don't know because I might need it someday bro should try the Falcon 70b model I
215. 31:14know that sounds amazing the the problem crazy ass guy about trying all these these um these uh open source models is
216. 31:22like a new one comes out literally like every other day there's a new [ __ ] model it's like it's like I'm exhausted it's like
217. 31:31like at some point when someone does kind of the the automatic 1111 install where where where you can just put it on
218. 31:39your local drive it runs on an M1 Mac which is what I've got um I can just have a pull down menu of all
219. 31:47the language models and like it defaults to the latest one or some [ __ ] like that and then it makes it as good as anything
220. 31:53like like at that point I'll start using it but right now like I don't have time I don't have time to dig into these things
221. 32:00um I found it weak confused it projection and prediction in macro Evo or Eco economy Evo I don't know what you're talking about Nadia
222. 32:13um keep pushing it harder like the thing that I found about it is is I find that that the initial passes that it does on stuff suck
223. 32:25and then if you get better at prompting they suck less but like I have yet to have it I've gotten it to like
224. 32:3390 95 I've never had it generate anything that I didn't need to edit anything in and most of the time it's between like 60 and 80 percent
225. 32:43and then I won't take the 60 and start working with it I'll keep [ __ ] with the prompts until I get it to like
226. 32:49between 80 and 90 and that's the the percentage I'm talking about is just like subjective like that writing is
227. 32:55good enough that I can go from here um so it it does need a lot and if what you're talking about is kind of deep
228. 33:02research or deep analysis it might not be good at that [ __ ] the thing I'd keep your eye out for though is code
229. 33:08interpreter which if what you're talking about is doing more analytical stuff on data code interpreter might be might be
230. 33:15the thing I don't I haven't had a chance to play with it yet that for for those of you that don't know code interpreters
231. 33:21a new kind of mode of chat GPT where you can upload a document to it like a giant spreadsheet and it will just read the
232. 33:28spreadsheet and then you can say what are some interesting Trends in here it'll it'll generate a whole report a
233. 33:33data analysis of what's there you can say what um what were anomalies in the data it'll find anomalies in the data
234. 33:41you can tell it to create a chart it'll write the python code generate the chart and hand it to you like so that's coming
235. 33:46so again I wish I knew more about what you were talking about but I don't sorry I did agree okay you should

361. 54:16the prompts to to dial in what you do macroeconomic yeah Nadia like it's it's possible I don't know if you were using GPT 3.5 or 4.

367. 55:17actually querying on you know some deeper knowledge or data um what if there's no solution to the math problem it will probably tell you
368. 55:26that it like it's really good the other thing that you can tell it to do is instead of just telling it to give you
369. 55:32an answer to a math problem you can tell it to show its work and it will walk through the steps that that it needs to go through
370. 55:39um to get there and there there's there's new research coming out that by giving it the by telling it to give you
371. 55:46the steps it actually gets better um from an accuracy accuracy standpoint because the other thing about these
372. 55:52tools is they they do what's called hallucinating where chat CPT is not actually aware of what it's typing
373. 55:59because what it's doing is it's it's it's creating a probability of each word individually like what should be the
374. 56:05next word you know to answer this prompt but it's not aware of the whole of what it created so it can do things that look
375. 56:13right but are just completely false that's why it does that um what book do I recommend for a good foundation on Ai No well there are
376. 56:24probably a lot of books on like machine learning if you want to learn how to do the machine learning and the training
377. 56:29and all that sort of stuff um I would say just go hang out on Reddit subreddits GitHub and hugging face and just go start hanging out with

605. 1:33:11a tick tock live when you're 58 years old all right on a personal level AI can change a person's entire life for the
606. 1:33:18better it can like I I look at I look at chat GPT and these tools is like Humanity amplifiers like you can take
607. 1:33:28what you want to do you can take a whisper of an idea that historically would have taken you a week to get into
608. 1:33:34any sort of format that you could even [ __ ] talk about it and it can go from that Whisper of an idea to a fully articulated like story
609. 1:33:43outline or or first draft of a paper or first draft of a poem or whatever the [ __ ] it is in like five ten minutes tops
610. 1:33:54and then all of that time that you would have taken blocking out the first draft you can now do to execute
611. 1:34:00at an even higher level so I I think it absolutely does become a tool to amplify our Humanity originality is gone with AI

629. 1:36:30latent space where there's all these sort of semantic Canyons where words live and within this giant mathematical
630. 1:36:38space it's saying based on this prompt what is the next word I should respond with and it types that in and then based
631. 1:36:45on all of that plus that word it said what's the next word I should respond to and it types that in so it's literally
632. 1:36:50typing word by word your responses but it's not aware of the totality of what it wrote so if you prompt it um
633. 1:37:03if if you prompt it at too high high a level it sort of pulls from all the data and it will just amalgamate all the [ __ ]
634. 1:37:10that it knows and it will just make [ __ ] up if you get better at prompting and get it to sort of dig deeper into these semantic Canyons
635. 1:37:19um then it you can get it to hallucinate less but it still will hallucinate um there's a pretty famous uh this past
636. 1:37:28week a lawyer submitted a legal brief to a judge written by chat gbt and he didn't check the citations and they were all made up and wrong

654. 1:40:14six weeks the fastest adoption of technology in history um because of that all of the companies from meta to Google
655. 1:40:26to Amazon to just everyone is going we've got AI too we've been doing AI we've got models they're all
656. 1:40:34panicking but they're way behind because um open AI did it really well and Microsoft was smart enough to recognize
657. 1:40:43it and said [ __ ] it we'll put in 10 billion dollars and roll it into every product that we've got and make this our
658. 1:40:49big bet for the next 20 years so um Alexa will incorporate it when they probably get it to the point that it doesn't suck

660. 1:41:14so so there's something in the nature of how you're saying that so what he's saying here is chat gbt lies period it

674. 1:43:18tools as open AI rolls them out um yeah that's about it serious question how is chat GPT AI it's not really it's it's machine learning it
675. 1:43:30just find finds patterns and repeats them that's correct so so listen here you know again it's kind of irrelevant what you call it
676. 1:43:40like we're not gonna AI is easier to say than machine learning and machine learning sounds like oh the machines are

802. 2:03:13then you need to go to your settings and go to Beta features so the second choice down and enable browse with Bing and plugins so you got
803. 2:03:26to turn them on and then when you go to gpt4 you've got these three options default which is the way it used to be
804. 2:03:34browse with Bing is connected to the internet and then you've got plugins and then the plugins are you you've got a list of
805. 2:03:43whatever you have installed and then you have check boxes for up to three of them that you can actually activate for this
806. 2:03:51session so I might have a set of three that I use for booking travel arrangements and I might have two that I
807. 2:03:57use for reading PDF documents and I have others that I use for financial [ __ ] so so you kind of mix and match them
808. 2:04:04depending on the session right and then to to find new plugins you go to the plugin store and you can search and you
809. 2:04:14can scroll and there's now 400 of them so there's a lot to go through um and then basically what you do is
810. 2:04:22which ones do I have here so I've got some travel ones um activated so basically what you do is I okay I know I've got some travel
811. 2:04:30things activated so I'll say plan um a set of daily activities for my exciting trip to Toledo Ohio next
812. 2:04:47week um I'll be there for three days so rather than having to hop off to Google and go find all this [ __ ] I could
813. 2:04:57just type in that one little sentence and what it should do is just fire off it'll figure out which of those plugins

824. 2:06:39own interface to that API now that I understand it and if that doesn't exist it'll say well let me create my own app
825. 2:06:46to do that thing like I think I I think in a fairly short amount of time probably within three years you just ask
826. 2:06:54this thing for [ __ ] and it gives you [ __ ] how does it get there I don't know it invents uses or remixes
827. 2:07:04any tools it needs needs combined with any data it needs combined with the large language model to organize that [ __ ]
828. 2:07:13then makes pretty pictures and music and videos as well do I think I see it Security will be impacted by AI
829. 2:07:23oh I think it's going to be upended um if you take this idea of autonomous agents if you don't know what those are
830. 2:07:32it's basically like having chat GPT prompt itself to go use tools and go execute things to solve a goal
831. 2:07:41that you give it so you could give it the goal um go find me as many computers as you can with this specific Windows vulnerability
832. 2:07:51um exploit that vulnerability and give me a list of hyperlinks of servers that we have access to I would be surprised if
833. 2:08:02people weren't playing with that right now right so yeah so I think it's going to be impacted dramatically now
834. 2:08:10the it security teams also have access to these AI tools so they're going to be able to do countermeasures and and you
835. 2:08:18know be able to catch those people in dramatically more powerful ways as well so the war will continue between you

936. 2:23:59what does success look like what's good what's bad and then understanding the tools enough to ask for it right so so
937. 2:24:06rather than saying you know we're going to try to catch people that are cheating using chat GPT to write papers bring it
938. 2:24:13into the classroom and say let's have chatgpt write the paper and then we're going to analyze it as a class to see
939. 2:24:20what it got right what it got wrong how would we do it different how might we prompt it in a different way that it
940. 2:24:26would give us a better result like all of that sort of stuff that's going to be the critical skill moving forward the
941. 2:24:32Tactical execution of of the day-to-day mind-numbing [ __ ] that we all have to do every day let the robots do that
942. 2:24:41Elevate our brains and our students brains to to a higher level of Engagement critical thinking like I you know I feel like we're we're
943. 2:24:53entering this revenge of the liberal arts major era right have a broad view be able to look at things objectively and say is that good
944. 2:25:03is that bad what's that based on I don't know my world experience critical thinking understanding the problem right
945. 2:25:10not just being a cog in the [ __ ] wheel when will mid-journey get plug-ins when will mid-journey get a [ __ ] interface
946. 2:25:18um it's a billing code I surface read that article that AI is keeping us in a sort of bull market what do you think I think that there's
947. 2:25:31a non-zero possibility I've I've heard that from some Engineers recently I think it's a great term there's a non-zero possibility
948. 2:25:40that so so one of the things I've heard is that Tech shops engineering shops that are that are fully embracing AI for
949. 2:25:48their coders are seeing a 30 to 40 percent productivity increase that's a lot in business a 30 to 40 percent
950. 2:25:56productivity increase with an existing team is a [ __ ] ton it's a lot so the the pessimistic view of this right
951. 2:26:07the doomer's view of this is if you're 30 or 40 or percent more efficient you fire 34 30 to 40 percent of the people or
952. 2:26:17you have a 30 to 40 percent increase in productivity that you dump back into the economy so it's possible there's a non-zero
953. 2:26:27chance that this AI stuff if if the impact comes swiftly which I think it will and if the private Equity firms don't just bleed
954. 2:26:38bleed all the resources out of companies to to you know skim more money off which they're gonna do that but hopefully more
955. 2:26:46companies you know increase their productivity so I think it's possible um insurances use different calendars
956. 2:26:54insurance is use every game in the book to to screw with us our phones listen and yet an info marketing Cog we go mint Y2K okay can I

961. 2:27:40um what's the difference between an llm and human reasoning and or Consciousness so an llm and llm has the consciousness of a calculator
962. 2:27:52it has none now it behaves like it's got Consciousness and it behaves like it's got knowledge and it behaves like it's got empathy
963. 2:28:04but it actually doesn't like what it's doing is it's predicting one word after the other you put in your prompt there's
964. 2:28:11a mathematical equation that's created they dump that mathematical query into a massive number database and the numbers
965. 2:28:22basically say there's a pro the highest probability of the next word that I should respond with is this word
966. 2:28:30and then it does it again and again and again so so it it writes all these individual words that are just mathematical um predictions
967. 2:28:40and then we as humans read it and we're like oh it must have Consciousness because it said It felt something it said it was in
968. 2:28:47love with that New York Times Reporter and he should leave his wife but it it wasn't saying that it just typed those words right so the
969. 2:28:57difference is human beings can make sense of those words the large language model is just putting them out there
970. 2:29:06there will be a version in the future where it puts them out there and then it analyzes what it did and then it you
971. 2:29:15know so there's a version of this in the future where those two things get much closer right but you know why these large language
972. 2:29:23models are good why they work so well is they've they've mimicked the human brain how it learns so it learns like a human
973. 2:29:29brain but it's not processing like a human brain all right cursing for this I don't know what that word is dislodges dialogues Maybe
974. 2:29:44officially obsessed with AI now I agree AI can free us up for The Human Experience work is an escape for many
975. 2:29:52yeah and I think you know work is also one of those things where there's a there's a hopeful like there's
976. 2:29:59there's just going to be some really [ __ ] pain coming which I hate but the the Silver Lining that I'm
977. 2:30:07hoping is that people are going to be displaced from jobs that they hated but they wouldn't admit that they
978. 2:30:14hated and then once they're gone and once they realize that job's not coming back that they might go you know I [ __ ]

980. 2:30:28there's going to be a lot of reinvention and and also all the displaced people also have access to these tools right so

982. 2:30:42decade or the time to put in to get good at because the tools are going to give them a leg up I worry a bit that a lot of people want
983. 2:30:51to do routine work I worry a bit that a lot of people want to do routine work yeah not everyone's an entrepreneur I agree with that
984. 2:31:00there will still be routine work it'll just be different work right if your routine work is sifting through
985. 2:31:07insurance forms to find typos or to do data entry that kind of shit's going to go away but there's going to be other
986. 2:31:16kind of routine work like maybe maintaining the AI I don't know but Library I don't know who knows but there are there are different kinds
987. 2:31:26of people not everyone wants to be an entrepreneur AI can change a person's entire life right yes I agree like so for example
988. 2:31:34um Stephen on on um like a week and a half ago there's a guy in Italy that uh was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident
989. 2:31:43and they created a Bluetooth bridge over the injured part of his spine they used a large language model to read his brain
990. 2:31:50brain scan his MRI I brain scan had him think about moving his legs so the large language model learned this is what his
991. 2:31:58brain does when he's thinking about moving his legs it then sent Bluetooth signals down to electrodes in the lower
992. 2:32:04part of his spine and he's walking he's not working great like it ain't perfect but like that happened that happened last week
993. 2:32:15so so I think I think the level of impact you know to humanity is going to be profound I think it's going to do things like solve
994. 2:32:23genetic diseases and it's gonna do things like cure cancer and it's going to do things like solve the energy
995. 2:32:29crisis and solve the you know climate crisis and there's a lot there's a lot that it's going to change so I think on
996. 2:32:38an individual level it can be transformative and then on societal level I think it can be transformative and it could just kill us all

1132. 2:55:10when you type in your prompt it just processes it processes it locally with a local large language model and gives you
1133. 2:55:17back the answer just locally so nothing goes away from your computer so that's the that's the advantage there so um
1134. 2:55:26you you just have much more control you can use open source large language models that don't have safety guard
1135. 2:55:32rails on them for example things like that that's why people want to do that oh and you already answered each other
1136. 2:55:39local machine equals your hard drive okay so sure I could have said it in three words but I chose to use 642 words
1137. 2:55:46to answer it because I have diarrhea of the mouth any legit way to integrate with mid-journey API I don't think so
1138. 2:55:55they don't have an API yet they don't have an interface it's incredibly convoluted but it's just the [ __ ] best

1177. 3:01:28world the developer community pounces on it and creates all these tools so stable diffusion has a lot more tools and a lot
1178. 3:01:34more flexibility and multiple visual interfaces in front of it and there's leonardo.ai is sitting on top of stable
1179. 3:01:42diffusion and I don't know there's a bunch of them out there so stable diffusion is just it's just a much
1180. 3:01:47bigger ecosystem but quality of image mid-journey still has it in my opinion so here's these images that it created you know based on

1207. 3:05:43they do by going into chat GPT and coming up with a prompt that consistently gives you good tweets or good blog posts the difference with
1208. 3:05:52those what you're paying for there is they've taken the time to write all those prompts and turn them into pretty buttons
1209. 3:05:58so I think they're good so I mean some of them are quite good Jasper's um quite good but that's that's what it
1210. 3:06:04is from a technical perspective it's it's actually quite a quite simple um prompting layer on top of the same tool that you have access to
