5. 1:28shaking and all you I'm not weird I'm IR regulars I know we're we're all a bunch of weirdos um I I forget who it was it was
6. 1:40uh it was one of the women maybe I forget who it was but some someone last night said they posted a a
7. 1:52uh an AI image that the spelling was all [ __ ] up and they said this isn't wrong it's just irregular like ah perfect it's
8. 2:01like every piece of AI art that's just off it's irregular I thought that was pretty solid pretty solid welcome welcome
9. 2:12welcome do me a favor if you would my late no I'm late I got here uh two minutes ago I'm late Oh Lordy I got to spin up the uh
10. 2:28spin up the cortisol I got to get something going here I'm a little like it's been a it's been an intense
11. 2:35week we had a salon last night I had a workshop tonight I have a keynote speech on Saturday here in up in Boulder at
12. 2:44Colorado's first AI Summit or some something like that AI Peaks so that's all exciting so do me a favor share the live tap the screen do

21. 4:07at work it's like it's a similar thing it's like you can be competent at your job and an [ __ ] you can be an [ __ ] and

25. 4:48advancements I have uh GPT Vision um I did one thing with it earlier I wonder if my photo library has my whiteboard in it does is there

28. 5:31just want to show you a cool new toy that's a whiteboard that was my um my little mental uh what's it called planner my
29. 5:47mental uh timing for my workshop whatever it wasn't mental it was on a whiteboard that was the timing for the
30. 5:54workshop I just gave so we're going to go over to chat GPT look at this little message I got people people new chat
31. 6:01with images use photos to choose an outfit or analyze complex documents chatting about people in images isn't
32. 6:09supporting it isn't supported fine whatever but so check this out so I got a little picture icon here I click on that I'll go to that
33. 6:24whiteboard that I saw and I'm just going to type in or I'll voice in how long was the workshop how long was the
34. 6:42workshop and there's my little image and what does it say what does it say the workshop was two hours long so so like down the
35. 6:55side is 5 to 520 520 to 5 5:30 all my little timings and it ends at 7 and it said it was 2 hours long um can you tell what the workshop was
36. 7:16about based on the image the workshop seems to be structured communication or interaction with sections designated for
37. 7:22when I talk they talk and they do topics include Reflections on the previous week discussions about feelings person
38. 7:29experiences and sharing with others which that's up in the picture right and then at the top of the Whiteboard was was all that stuff so
39. 7:40pulled in that figured that out talks about CR which isn't really explained that meant creative it appears
40. 7:50to be a structured session possibly related to business or team Communications personal reflection and planning correct
41. 7:59you are correct sir you are correct so I would check the other thing that I got in the official chat GPT app is talkie chatty
42. 8:12GPT so check this out let me do a new chat so oh wait hold all right here's chatty GPT this is
43. 8:27chat GPT the official IOS app and couple of things it's now got browse with Bing mass of the Sun but I thought the moon was made of
44. 8:45cheese oh buffering is it still buffering that's a popular myth but it's not true the moon is made of rock and
45. 8:52dust not cheese the idea of the Moon being made of cheese has been a humorous Concept in folklore and storytelling for
46. 9:00centuries but cheese is tasty yes many people enjoy cheese it comes in various flavors and types whether it's on Pizza in a sandwich or
47. 9:15enjoyed on its own cheese is a beloved food for many steo go to your settings go to settings and go to um new features
48. 9:32oh no oh you turn on voice conversations I guess Dolly 3 just shows up I think I I I just have access to
49. 9:40Dolly 3 because I filled out that Google form a week or two ago all right um anyway so chat GPT now has now rolled out widely is
50. 9:54Vision talk to chat GPT um browse with Bing is back so it's connected to the internet again thank you Sherry Banks appreciate that thanks
51. 10:06for the hearty hearts and uh some people have access to Dolly I'll demo Dolly inside chat GPT it's [ __ ] remarkable
52. 10:16it's it's so funny because it's it's effectively the exact same technology that Microsoft incorporated into Bing chat but inside
53. 10:27chat GPT it's so much better it's so much better it's so good it's so good it's so good it's so easy to fall in love uh uh

63. 12:12chip in it that's sending all of my Biometrics back to China but I don't care CU it's funny and it's if you got a gag that's

72. 13:39does these other things Bard Claude and Bing are these are this like I call this the adults table as evidenced by the
73. 13:47label the adults table um these are the big four they're not going anywhere these are these are these are the the
74. 13:55big Ballers these are the Frontier Model boys we don't have Elon Musk in here yet but he'll be in here soon with his
75. 14:01little x x thing and then we'll probably move um Pi up into this and uh inflection is the company there this is
76. 14:10probably a list of six and then there's Apple so it's probably seven there's probably seven major players by the end
77. 14:17of the year by the end of the year Nah by mid next year um these capabilities are just going to keep getting better and better
78. 14:28and better better and better and better and better in fact chat GPT being multimodal the fact that you can make
79. 14:34images inside that thing is is [ __ ] Bonkers if you haven't seen this check this out so we'll do a new
80. 14:41chat you go to chat GPD plus it's got all this [ __ ] the bottom one here is Dolly 3 so this is their their new image
81. 14:49generation tool in my opinion even though the subtlety of the quality of images is not as good as mid Journey yeah apple
82. 14:59apple is spending Nicholas apple is spending a tremendous amount of money on generative AI they U their research budget this year to 22.4
83. 15:09billion that's more than open ai's market cap they're spending most of that on generative AI research so the other
84. 15:17thing that if you pay close attention to Apple's last two announcements with the Vision Pro goggles and the iPhone
85. 15:2715 the amount of machine learning processing power they're putting in their devices now you're going to be
86. 15:33able to run very powerful large language models locally UND device um Apple's going to be a major player major [ __ ]
87. 15:42player they they going to be a major player I'm telling you I'm telling you I'm not joking around this time I'm not
88. 15:49Ted looks at life is in here he's like hey your regulars he's not messing around either so yeah Siri is the worst
89. 15:58assistant oh listen I make fun of Siri nightly here Siri's a jealous little [ __ ] I tell her to go away all the time
90. 16:05she just invades my life only when I'm talking to Bing apparently she's very jealous of Bing yeah no Siri's Siri's awful so's
91. 16:14Alexa if you want to play with a good one um the the new chat GPT app has got conversation mode as well as the PI app
92. 16:23does both of them now are chatty GPT Apple needs to scare Siri Apple needs to flush Siri down the toilet I don't think you can fix it I
93. 16:34think the brand is damaged but whatever that's I'm not a I'm not a listen I don't work at Apple I don't have I don't have an apple on my
94. 16:44my business card right so I don't know I'm not going to tell them what to do anyway all right Dolly three so here we
95. 16:51are and we're just going to tell this we're going to do we're going to come up with some creative concept so we're going to say
96. 17:00I run a rescue for chubby black and white dogs that are just this side of being p period And I want to come up
97. 17:14with five Creative Concepts for a poster I could make to get people exciting excited to come visit the dogs period
98. 17:23before you make any images can you provide me those Concepts that are exciting fun and inspiring all right so we're going to

116. 20:31context of the conversation people see it used to be you go to chat GPT and You' come up with some Concepts and some
117. 20:38ideas and then you go to Mid Journey or you go to stable diffusion or you go to Leonardo or you it doesn't [ __ ] matter you go to
118. 20:44Firefly and then you had to kind of start over and you're like oh wait now I got to remember wait what commands how
119. 20:50do you do [ __ ] mid Journey again oh it hurts wait why can't it do text right and then just here we are right inside chat
120. 21:02GPT coming soon the most adorable stars in town that actually doesn't look too far from champ every Hero has ORS Story
121. 21:11come meet ours all right so it's got an issue with spelling but look look at the coherence here Champs chubby

129. 22:47the the way it's making the images it's not aware of what it's making so it I I don't think languages will matter I
130. 22:56think it's probably similarly non-accurate in Chinese and Japanese as it is in in English and Italian and

132. 23:14went to this Tik Tok and there was this really old guy it was really funny he was talking like he knew what he was
133. 23:18talking about and then he made this prompt and then he just sat there for like 10 minutes and he was talking about
134. 23:23something to like the other old people and then they were like asking him questions he's answering their stupid
135. 23:29questions cuz there everyone's like and anyway His Image wasn't there he's like hey why isn't my image there and then
136. 23:36like he didn't hit the submit button old people are so dumb coffee well yes I think I will it's neth

138. 24:04all right let's see if we get a decent poster out of this thing shall we how do I access this feature I have the plus
139. 24:11but no access to integration with Dolly I think it's just I happen to luck into um one of the people from this live so
140. 24:19one of the reasons to hang out in this live is there's cool people here so retr Punk was in open ai's Discord
141. 24:28and one of the developers um of do3 said hey I'm looking for Alpha testers and threw up a Google form which is only
142. 24:35live for like a few hours and he sent it to me cuz he's baller and uh so but I think they're rolling it out within a
143. 24:43month so so they said they were going to roll out um these are great they said they were going to roll out um all the
144. 24:51features that have now been rolled out by yesterday and they actually just all came out today like a lot of them came
145. 24:59out yesterday they were doing server upgrades yesterday and I think they turned them on for a lot of accounts
146. 25:05today so Dolly th this stuff still has some development to go like you can't if I click on one of these images I can
147. 25:13copy The Prompt but I can't edit it I can't re you know like remix this image in any way so but anyway that's a pretty groovy one
148. 25:25there's the Die Hard oh and that's like one of the Pixar movies that's awesome too with champ sitting in front of his poster with his
149. 25:34little posi behind him that's pretty slick so that's DOI um is it possible to have high high resolution with this no
150. 25:43not yet the like but but you can do that just you know pop one of these things into topaz lab's um AI image tool I
151. 25:52forget what that thing's called let me let me go get it just cuz I have shitty brain um topaz labs they have one thing called
152. 26:07gigapixel but as far as I understand the gigapixel is the old version so see how jpeg artifact this is and then over here it's brilliant and
153. 26:20then you can move this slider back and forth to see what it does so this is to oh photo AI is what it's called photo a is the
154. 26:29product um it ain't cheap 199 bucks but like what it does is remarkable because what it's doing is it's not doing
155. 26:38interpolation interpolation like Photoshop does where it's just um sort of you know filling in extra pixels it's
156. 26:46actually generating like if it's zooming in on someone's face it'll make new eyelashes it's doing um generative image

166. 28:09can use um upscaling within stable diffusion in automatic 11-11 so if you're an automatic 11-11 person you
167. 28:16don't need topaz Labs um but you do need to to geek out and figure out all the [ __ ] settings for how to do image
168. 28:25upscaling in St diffusion cuzz it's like all things stable diffusion it's really good really powerful and it requires you
169. 28:33to have your rocket science degree to install it and configure it you you should see it's so amazing um Herod
170. 28:42who's in here spoke at at the AI Salon Tuesday night and he logged into automatic 1111 feature set and he said
171. 28:52just the base features of stable diffusion it was like three pages of like super tiny text three pages of features it's it's just crazy Wall
172. 29:02Street Journal had an article these llms are expensive to run yes Microsoft is losing money on GitHub co-pilot that
173. 29:12doesn't surprise me not on 365 yeah they'll make their money on 365 the the the investment right now is to get as
174. 29:19much market share as they can I mean the the CEO of Microsoft said he would lose money on chat GPT like the the Bing chat
175. 29:28um just to [ __ ] with Google um they they've got they've got Office 365 and windows they they can charge for it
176. 29:38they've also got all their cloud services they're going to be fine I know it's expensive um open AI is apparently
177. 29:45this was six weeks or so ago there was a there was this this mini little rumor that oh open AI is going to run out of
178. 29:52money in 2024 because they're burning $700,000 a day and then they hit a billion dollar run rate in Revenue so or
179. 30:01was it a billion I don't know it was yeah I think it was a billion so so anyway there they're they're doing fine
180. 30:06they're doing fine less robust models might be the new thing to save money I think less robust models are in fact I
181. 30:13just saw there's a 7 billion um 7 billion parameter model just outperformed a 70 billion parameter model and can run multimodal locally on
182. 30:25an M2 Mac this isn't M1 Mac so the Next Generation up the current generation of Macs can run a pretty solid multimodal large language model
183. 30:40locally so there it's going to get it's going to get spicy people we're going to be able to do all sorts of magic
184. 30:47[ __ ] that's the other cool thing having Dolly 3 inside the mobile app in chat GPT where you can just sort of just tell
185. 30:56it create creative directions and it makes images and then you have them in your chat history it's pretty slick it's
186. 31:02pretty dang slick this they it's what's it's going to be so good why does he talk like this he seems is he on
187. 31:13medications oh he's not oh well I mean don't you think maybe he should be I don't know I don't know he seems to know
188. 31:23a lot though doesn't he oh no he just makes it up oh he makes it up oh oh wait what are his qualif he doesn't

209. 36:11um just go there now um the other things that might be worth screenshotting are here's all your image not all jeez this
210. 36:20is not even close these are the four that I think are worth paying attention to right now um the only reason don't
211. 36:26have the stable diffusion World on here is it's just really there's there's like an infinite amount of projects so um
212. 36:36these are the ones that if you don't feel like configuring computers start with these um you can use them online on
213. 36:42hugging face oh nice oh that's great um so being uh Dolly 3 is free in bing and is going to be coming to chat GPT it's
214. 36:56really quite good good it's got very very good prompt coherence which basically just means if you ask for 15
215. 37:03very specific objects in your prompt it'll put those specific objects in your image it's it's it's really
216. 37:10something um ideogram was a darling for about a month and then Dolly 3 came out mid journey is still the best for art um
217. 37:18Firefly is good if you work for a company screenshot this these are the um motion picture kind of things animated V or uh
218. 37:31synthesized voice animated images video translation text to video text to 3D World they're all pretty good and then
219. 37:43and in these here futurepedia doio there's an AI there's an AI for that.com our big directories and then Ethan
220. 37:51mullik David Shapiro on YouTube and Paul rer from the marketing AI Institute all worth following like follow them they're
221. 38:00just they're they're they're they're baller I don't think that's the right term for them but they can play ball
222. 38:09they can play basketball good on a court with AI they can make a picture of a basketball with AI and that's why they
223. 38:21call them Ballers cuz they cuz they know how to prompt a make a basketball ball with AI yeah all right they're smarter
224. 38:31than me um this was the workshop I did the second of three tonight this happened tonight from 5: to 7: my time
225. 38:41and went good we got some people trained up on how to do this AI [ __ ] and then finally I've been talking a lot about
226. 38:48the Discord server the AI Discord server so the salon. a that URL kind of in the middle of all this pack of words here um
227. 38:58that's the link tree to the AI salon so we meet every other week uh there's a meet up there we have uh we meet
228. 39:04virtually but we also meet in person in Denver where I am and there's a Discord server there's a LinkedIn group there's a a description

289. 49:55as example examples so give it the the story framework give it some example writing and the style that you like and
290. 50:01scenes that you know have enough Flesh on the bone and then have it right in that style that that would probably help
