Description

In this aiLL session on October 11, 2023, I provide a candid look at the current state of AI, including demos of chatGPT, Midjourney, Claude, and other leading platforms. We have fun along the way, with humor and levity used to make complex topics relatable. However, the core focus is on empowering viewers with an understanding of AI's rapid evolution, so they can harness its potential. I showcase real examples of how AI can augment human creativity and productivity across industries. If you're an AI newbie or veteran, this session offers value. The future is here - come explore it with me. #ai #futureofwork #creativity 00:08 - The magic and limitations of ChatGPT prompts 00:44 - AI conversation flows vs rigid logic trees 01:30 - Microsoft's AI investments and goals 03:20 - Monetizing AI applications and services 08:10 - Demo of ChatGPT's new conversation mode 13:25 - Hands-on demo of creating AI art in Midjourney 23:20 - Rewriting prompts in Midjourney vs ChatGPT 31:00 - Using Claude AI for collaborative writing 39:40 - The importance of humor and personality with AI 01:03:00 - Teaching concepts with AI via gamification 01:13:00 - AI's paradigm shift from rigid logic to dynamic conversation 01:17:19 - A deep dive into Midjourney's complex UI and UX

0:58 learning lab it's Wednesday night I just
1:01 got back from doing a
1:04 workshop my second in a series of three
1:08 uh
1:09 for uh a group of creatives in another
1:13 uh Community
1:15 called uh well it's Ronda Phillips uh
1:19 voice actor Community really really nice
1:21 people really really cool stuff uh
1:23 anyway I'm back I'm here hey everybody
1:26 Dr J what's
1:28 shaking and all you I'm not weird I'm IR
1:32 regulars I know we're we're all a bunch
1:35 of weirdos um I I forget who it was it
1:39 was
1:40 uh it was one of the women
1:45 maybe I forget who it was but some
1:47 someone last night said they posted a a
1:52 uh an AI image that the spelling was all
1:55 [ __ ] up and they said this isn't wrong
1:57 it's just irregular like ah perfect it's
2:01 like every piece of AI art that's just
2:04 off it's
2:07 irregular I thought that was pretty
2:09 solid pretty solid welcome welcome
2:13 welcome do me a favor if you would my
2:16 late no I'm late I got here uh two
2:20 minutes ago I'm
2:23 late Oh Lordy I got to spin up the uh
2:29 spin up the cortisol I got to get
2:30 something going here I'm a little
2:33 like it's been a it's been an intense
2:35 week we had a salon last night I had a
2:38 workshop
2:39 tonight I have a keynote speech on
2:41 Saturday here in up in Boulder at
2:44 Colorado's first AI Summit or some
2:48 something like that AI
2:52 Peaks so that's all exciting so do me a
2:55 favor share the live tap the screen do
2:58 the things you do that lets Tik Tok know
3:00 this is a place people should see and
3:02 then we'll get started we'll we'll get
3:04 going if you have questions about AI pop
3:06 them in the comments below if your first
3:08 question is what are your qualifications
3:09 sir I have none let's just start out
3:12 with that right off the bat I'm clueless
3:14 clueless
3:16 clueless what's this Channel about the
3:18 elderly teaching the elderly how to use
3:20 Tik Tok is this thing on how do you turn
3:23 this on is this working how do you
3:27 where's the on button on the Tik Tok you
3:29 know a lot of that a lot of that oh and
3:32 then we talk about
3:34 AI we talk about the future of humanity
3:37 uh the future of work and how do you use
3:39 Tik
3:40 Tok uh we like to have fun I like making
3:43 fun of [ __ ] I like making fun of
3:45 people
3:47 um I like smart people I don't mind if
3:50 you're nasty so long as you're smart if
3:52 you're just a jerk then no not
3:56 good smart nasty people are funny I like
3:59 smart nasty
4:01 people but dumb Dums dumb Dum and
4:05 nasty we we have this we have this thing
4:07 at work it's like it's a similar thing
4:10 it's like you can be competent at your
4:12 job and an [ __ ] you can be an [ __ ]
4:16 and
4:17 incompetent wait wait no wait what is
4:21 it oh wait you you you can
4:24 be competent and not an
4:27 [ __ ] you could be wait confident oh I
4:33 forget anyway doesn't
4:34 matter I don't know where I'm going my
4:36 brain my brain's not plugged in thanks
4:38 steo thanks for saving me with a little
4:40 heart um so what we'll do here we we'll
4:43 get started we'll talk about some some
4:45 cool stuff here in a second there have
4:47 been
4:48 advancements I have uh GPT
4:52 Vision um I did one thing with it
4:55 earlier I wonder if my photo library has
4:59 my whiteboard in it does is there
5:01 anything in
5:03 here well that's kind of cool we'll see
5:05 if that works oh here it
5:07 is
5:09 yeah so let me export
5:17 this what's this we'll just call it
5:28 whiteboard so before we get started I
5:31 just want to show you a cool new toy
5:34 that's a whiteboard that was my
5:38 um my little
5:40 mental
5:42 uh what's it
5:45 called planner my
5:47 mental uh timing for my workshop
5:51 whatever it wasn't mental it was on a
5:53 whiteboard that was the timing for the
5:55 workshop I just gave so we're going to
5:56 go over to chat GPT look at this little
5:59 message I got people people new chat
6:02 with images use photos to choose an
6:04 outfit or analyze complex documents
6:07 chatting about people in images isn't
6:10 supporting it isn't supported fine
6:12 whatever but so check this out so I got
6:15 a little picture icon here I click on
6:19 that I'll go
6:22 to that
6:24 whiteboard that I
6:27 saw and I'm just going to type in
6:31 or
6:32 I'll voice
6:34 in how long was the
6:38 workshop how long was the
6:42 workshop and there's my little
6:47 image and what does it say what does it
6:49 say the workshop was two hours
6:52 long so so like down the
6:56 side is 5 to 520 520 to 5 5:30 all my
7:00 little timings and it ends at
7:03 7 and it said it was 2 hours
7:06 long
7:09 um can you tell what the workshop was
7:16 about based on the image the workshop
7:19 seems to be structured communication or
7:21 interaction with sections designated for
7:23 when I talk they talk and they do topics
7:26 include Reflections on the previous week
7:28 discussions about feelings person
7:30 experiences and sharing with others
7:32 which that's up in the
7:35 picture right and then at the top of the
7:38 Whiteboard was was all that stuff so
7:40 pulled in that figured that
7:45 out talks about CR which isn't really
7:48 explained that meant creative it appears
7:50 to be a structured session possibly
7:52 related to business or team
7:54 Communications personal reflection and
7:57 planning correct
8:00 you are correct sir you are correct so I
8:03 would check the other thing that I
8:06 got in the official chat GPT app is
8:10 talkie chatty
8:12 GPT so check this
8:16 out let me do a new chat so oh wait
8:23 hold all right here's chatty GPT this is
8:27 chat GPT the official IOS app
8:31 and couple of things it's now got browse
8:35 with Bing mass of the
8:38 Sun but I thought the moon was made of
8:45 cheese oh buffering is it still
8:48 buffering that's a popular myth but it's
8:50 not true the moon is made of rock and
8:52 dust not cheese the idea of the Moon
8:55 being made of cheese has been a humorous
8:57 Concept in folklore and storytelling for
9:01 centuries but cheese is
9:08 tasty yes many people enjoy cheese it
9:11 comes in various flavors and types
9:13 whether it's on Pizza in a sandwich or
9:15 enjoyed on its own cheese is a beloved
9:18 food for
9:20 many steo go to your settings go to
9:24 settings and go to um new features
9:32 oh
9:33 no oh you turn on voice
9:36 conversations I guess Dolly 3 just shows
9:38 up I think I I I just have access to
9:41 Dolly 3 because I filled out that Google
9:43 form a week or two ago all right um
9:46 anyway
9:48 so chat GPT now has now rolled out
9:52 widely is
9:55 Vision talk to chat
9:58 GPT um
10:00 browse with Bing is back so it's
10:02 connected to the internet again thank
10:04 you Sherry Banks appreciate that thanks
10:06 for the hearty hearts and uh some people
10:10 have access to Dolly I'll demo Dolly
10:12 inside chat GPT it's [ __ ] remarkable
10:16 it's it's so funny because it's it's
10:19 effectively the exact
10:21 same technology that Microsoft
10:23 incorporated into Bing chat but inside
10:27 chat GPT it's so much better it's so
10:30 much better it's so good it's so good
10:34 it's so
10:36 good it's so easy to fall in love uh uh
10:40 uh all right it's too dim I can't see
10:44 anything going to go
10:46 to a i l l we're going to go
10:52 to there you go who's that that's Ally
10:55 the AI learning lab get
10:58 it all right everyone welcome my name's
11:01 Kyle Shannon this AI learning lab uh so
11:03 here's what we'll do we'll pop over I'm
11:05 going to show you some places to start
11:07 if you're new to this AI stuff that's
11:09 what this channel is about well if
11:11 you're old with this AI stuff that's
11:13 what this channel is about this is about
11:15 people getting curious about generative
11:17 AI like Sherry Banks thank you for the
11:19 rose appreciate that um she's been
11:22 contributing a lot in here it's about
11:24 sharing what you know it's about getting
11:26 curious It's about getting adventurous
11:28 it's about making pictures of dog
11:30 dos and hedgehogs and turtles and
11:36 zombies it's about you can make money
11:40 with huh you want the secrets don't you
11:44 how did I get the gold
11:45 button you think they just sell these on
11:48 Amazon they they
11:52 [Laughter]
11:58 do as a matter of fact they sell them
12:02 right on Amazon you can record your own
12:05 stupid [ __ ] voice make
12:10 money I'm sure this got some sort of
12:12 chip in it that's sending all of my
12:14 Biometrics back to China but I don't
12:16 care CU it's
12:17 funny and it's if you got a gag that's
12:20 worth it give up your privacy just do it
12:24 if the toy is good
12:26 enough just do it come on people all
12:29 right let me pop open Discord here
12:32 here's what we're GNA
12:33 do I'm gonna hop over to this oh c c c c
12:39 c c Cal C cal cal listen which one the
12:43 best which one the can you make money
12:45 with chat GT how do you make money with
12:47 chat c c cow cow listen shh zip it zip
12:52 it start there start there chat.
12:57 open.com what's that that's ch
13:00 T that's the thing you can make money
13:02 with all these are the things you can
13:03 make money with so's
13:04 Photoshop so's a frying pan you can make
13:07 money with anything how solve a [ __ ]
13:10 problem people pay you money for
13:13 it that's the secret the secret is
13:16 there's no secret it's have an idea work
13:18 hard
13:19 execute
13:21 repeat
13:23 anyway chat GPT is the first and the
13:26 best if you don't know how to use it
13:28 that thing at the bottom chat will teach
13:30 you how these large language models work
13:32 um just go there right now ask it to
13:34 write you a country song or a poem or a
13:37 marketing plan and just watch what it
13:39 does these other things Bard Claude and
13:43 Bing are these are this like I call this
13:45 the adults table as evidenced by the
13:48 label the adults table um these are the
13:52 big four they're not going anywhere
13:53 these are these are these are the the
13:55 big Ballers these are the Frontier Model
13:57 boys we don't have Elon Musk in here yet
14:00 but he'll be in here soon with his
14:01 little x x thing and then we'll probably
14:05 move um Pi up into this and uh
14:09 inflection is the company there this is
14:11 probably a list of six and then there's
14:13 Apple so it's probably seven there's
14:15 probably seven major players by the end
14:17 of the year by the end of the year Nah
14:20 by mid next
14:23 year um these capabilities are just
14:27 going to keep getting better and better
14:28 and better better and better and better
14:30 and better in fact chat GPT being
14:33 multimodal the fact that you can make
14:35 images inside that thing is is [ __ ]
14:37 Bonkers if you haven't seen this check
14:39 this out so we'll do a new
14:41 chat you go to chat GPD plus it's got
14:44 all this [ __ ] the bottom one here is
14:46 Dolly 3 so this is their their new image
14:49 generation tool in my opinion even
14:51 though
14:52 the subtlety of the quality of images is
14:56 not as good as mid Journey yeah apple
14:59 apple is spending Nicholas apple is
15:01 spending a tremendous amount of money on
15:04 generative AI they U their research
15:06 budget this year to
15:08 22.4
15:09 billion that's more than open ai's
15:12 market cap they're spending most of that
15:14 on generative AI research so the other
15:18 thing that if you pay close attention to
15:20 Apple's last two announcements with the
15:24 Vision Pro goggles and the iPhone
15:28 15 the amount of machine learning
15:31 processing power they're putting in
15:32 their devices now you're going to be
15:34 able to run very powerful large language
15:37 models locally UND device um Apple's
15:40 going to be a major player major [ __ ]
15:43 player they they going to be a major
15:45 player I'm telling you I'm telling you
15:47 I'm not joking around this time I'm not
15:50 Ted looks at life is in here he's like
15:52 hey your regulars he's not messing
15:53 around
15:55 either so yeah Siri is the worst
15:59 assistant oh listen I make fun of Siri
16:01 nightly here Siri's a jealous little
16:03 [ __ ] I tell her to go away all the time
16:06 she just invades my life only when I'm
16:08 talking to Bing apparently she's very
16:10 jealous of
16:12 Bing yeah no Siri's Siri's awful so's
16:15 Alexa if you want to play with a good
16:17 one um the the new chat GPT app has got
16:21 conversation mode as well as the PI app
16:24 does both of them now are chatty
16:27 GPT Apple needs to scare Siri Apple
16:29 needs to flush Siri down the
16:33 toilet I don't think you can fix it I
16:35 think the brand is
16:37 damaged but whatever that's I'm not a
16:40 I'm not a listen I don't work at Apple I
16:42 don't have I don't have an apple on my
16:45 my business card right so I don't know
16:47 I'm not going to tell them what to do
16:48 anyway all right Dolly three so here we
16:51 are and we're just going to tell this
16:54 we're going to do we're going to come up
16:55 with some creative concept so we're
16:57 going to
16:57 say
17:01 I run a rescue
17:03 for chubby black and white
17:06 dogs that are just this side of being p
17:11 period And I want to come up
17:14 with five Creative Concepts for a poster
17:18 I could make to get people exciting
17:20 excited to come visit the dogs period
17:23 before you make any images can
17:26 you provide me those Concepts that are
17:31 exciting fun and
17:35 inspiring all right so we're going to
17:37 have Chad GPT be a little be a little
17:39 creative director here little writer
17:42 let's give us some Concepts okay retro
17:45 movie po poster imagine a vintage Cinema
17:49 poster where the chubby black and white
17:50 dogs are stars bold type c Fe proclaims
17:54 coming soon the most adorable stars in
17:57 town there's a spotlight yeah that's
18:00 good fashion show Extravaganza fashion
18:03 show black and white and Chic all over
18:06 that's pretty
18:07 good um comic book adventure travel
18:11 destination Fairy book sto fairy tale
18:13 story book let's go fashion show well
18:17 retro movie poster could be good we'll
18:19 go
18:21 okay let's go retro movie
18:25 poster let's go retro movie poster and I
18:29 forgot to tell you
18:32 that the mascot of the company's name is
18:37 Champ and I don't know the name of the
18:40 company yet so can you give me five
18:42 company
18:48 names Champs Copa rescue black and white
18:52 Blockbusters real tale okay I don't no y
18:56 y
18:57 y the name shouldn't incorporate the
19:01 advertising campaign with the poster can
19:03 you come up with something that's just
19:05 about chubby black and white dog rescue
19:07 with a mascot named
19:12 champ well it's going to be so good just
19:14 wait this going to get so good people
19:16 you're going to be like wait that was
19:17 totally worth it that old guy made a
19:19 cool
19:22 thing all right champ and Chums champ
19:26 and Chums rescue heaven
19:30 monochrome mates with champ Champs
19:32 chubby companions that's it
19:36 okay okay the business is called Champs
19:39 chubby companions I like the movie
19:41 poster concept above And the tagline you
19:44 had there can you make me four movie
19:48 posters that bring that concept to
19:51 life and give me
19:55 options now watch what this
19:57 does so what it's doing now is it's
20:01 writing its own image prompts and it's
20:02 writing four of them so what what did it
20:05 write here photo poster of a vintage
20:07 Cinema Scene where chubby black and
20:09 white dogs are the stars bold typography
20:12 complain Jesus proclaims coming soon the
20:16 most adorable stars in town Spotlight on
20:18 a group of these with champ are
20:20 particularly charismatic dog front and
20:22 center tagline reads every Hero has a
20:25 story so it just writes s and now it's
20:29 making four Images this is in the
20:31 context of the conversation people see
20:34 it used to be you go to chat GPT and
20:36 You' come up with some Concepts and some
20:38 ideas and then you go to Mid Journey or
20:40 you go to stable diffusion or you go to
20:42 Leonardo or you it doesn't [ __ ]
20:43 matter you go to
20:45 Firefly and then you had to kind of
20:46 start over and you're like oh wait now I
20:48 got to remember wait what commands how
20:50 do you do [ __ ] mid Journey again oh
20:54 it hurts wait why can't it do text
20:57 right and then just here we are right
21:01 inside chat
21:03 GPT coming soon the most adorable stars
21:05 in town that actually doesn't look too
21:07 far from champ every Hero has ORS Story
21:11 come meet ours all right so it's got an
21:14 issue with spelling but look look at the
21:16 coherence
21:17 here Champs chubby
21:22 commissions companions I think it's
21:24 supposed to be yeah companions all right
21:26 so we got some photoshopping to do there
21:28 but pretty [ __ ]
21:32 cute every film by Chubby's companions
21:35 champ
21:38 chaperon oh my God that's the
21:42 winner champ cinematic
21:48 Sensations oh my God that's good but
21:51 what's cool is so so what I can do now
21:53 is I can
21:56 go okay these are good I like one and
21:59 four but I'd like the poster to be
22:01 vertical not
22:03 horizontal and can we try making two of
22:07 the new posters more like an action
22:10 adventure poster like die hard rather
22:14 than these old and timey ones period so
22:18 two old ones and two modern
22:23 ones so so just like you can do with
22:26 with text you can just give it feedback
22:30 I didn't like that make it different
22:32 make it this make it
22:36 better I mean come
22:38 on do you think it spells better in
22:40 other languages English has too
22:44 many exceptions to the rules it's not
22:47 the the way it's making the images it's
22:49 not aware of what it's making so it I I
22:53 don't think languages will matter I
22:56 think it's probably similarly
23:00 non-accurate in Chinese and Japanese as
23:02 it is in in English and Italian and
23:06 whatever um just because of the nature
23:08 of how oh I didn't I didn't you got to
23:11 hit the submit button listen listen so I
23:14 went to this Tik Tok and there was this
23:16 really old guy it was really funny he
23:17 was talking like he knew what he was
23:19 talking about and then he made this
23:20 prompt and then he just sat there for
23:22 like 10 minutes and he was talking about
23:24 something to like the other old people
23:26 and then they were like asking him
23:28 questions he's answering their stupid
23:29 questions cuz there everyone's like and
23:33 anyway His Image wasn't there he's like
23:34 hey why isn't my image there and then
23:36 like he didn't hit the submit button old
23:38 people are so
23:43 dumb coffee well yes I think I will it's
23:47 neth
23:51 Cafe it's always better with fers in
23:53 your cup m fers is
23:57 tasty m
23:59 [Music]
24:05 all right let's see if we get a decent
24:06 poster out of this thing shall we how do
24:09 I access this feature I have the plus
24:12 but no access to integration with Dolly
24:14 I think it's just I happen to luck into
24:17 um one of the people from this live so
24:20 one of the reasons to hang out in this
24:21 live is there's cool people here so retr
24:26 Punk was in open ai's Discord
24:29 and one of the developers um of do3 said
24:32 hey I'm looking for Alpha testers and
24:34 threw up a Google form which is only
24:36 live for like a few hours and he sent it
24:38 to me cuz he's baller and uh so but I
24:43 think they're rolling it out within a
24:44 month so so they said they were going to
24:46 roll out um these are great they said
24:49 they were going to roll out um all the
24:52 features that have now been rolled out
24:54 by yesterday and they actually just all
24:58 came out today like a lot of them came
25:00 out yesterday they were doing server
25:02 upgrades yesterday and I think they
25:04 turned them on for a lot of accounts
25:05 today so Dolly th this stuff still has
25:09 some development to go like you can't if
25:12 I click on one of these images I can
25:14 copy The Prompt but I can't edit it I
25:16 can't re you know like remix this image
25:20 in any way
25:22 so but anyway that's a pretty groovy one
25:26 there's the Die Hard
25:29 oh and that's like one of the Pixar
25:31 movies that's awesome too with champ
25:33 sitting in front of his poster with his
25:35 little posi behind him that's pretty
25:39 slick so that's DOI um is it possible to
25:42 have high high resolution with this no
25:44 not yet the like but but you can do that
25:46 just you know pop one of these things
25:48 into topaz lab's um AI image tool I
25:52 forget what that thing's called let me
25:54 let me go get it just cuz I have shitty
25:57 brain um
25:59 topaz
26:06 labs they have one thing called
26:08 gigapixel but as far as I understand the
26:10 gigapixel is the old
26:13 version so see how jpeg artifact this is
26:18 and then over here it's brilliant and
26:20 then you can move this slider back and
26:23 forth to see what it does so this is to
26:26 oh photo AI is what it's called photo a
26:28 is the
26:29 product um it ain't cheap 199 bucks but
26:33 like what it does is remarkable because
26:35 what it's doing is it's not doing
26:38 interpolation interpolation like
26:40 Photoshop does where it's just um sort
26:43 of you know filling in extra pixels it's
26:47 actually generating like if it's zooming
26:49 in on someone's face it'll make new
26:51 eyelashes it's doing um generative image
26:57 creation uh uh uh uh uh uh
27:01 uh welcome everybody welcome welcome
27:04 welcome man I'm it's been a long day
27:07 looks like I need to shave already I
27:10 just did a I did a workshop tonight so I
27:11 started a little late life's tough
27:14 tougher when you're stupid um I am a
27:18 pavlovian dog so welcome everyone if
27:20 you're here this the AI learning lab we
27:22 talk AI here I try to answer questions
27:25 we make yuck yucks we talk about Ians we
27:28 talk about Turtles um if you've been
27:31 here for a bit and you're digging it
27:32 please uh tap the likes reshare this
27:35 live I'd like to get more people in here
27:37 to learn and share and share with others
27:39 and be generous in in how we're all
27:41 learning together uh and then uh
27:44 anything else you want to do to uh to
27:45 engage uh Becky Rue I really want to try
27:48 photo AI is it really 199 bucks a year
27:51 it is Becky they they run specials a
27:53 fair amount um I'm I'm sure there's a
27:56 coupon out there you can get it for $149
27:58 um I had a chance to buy it for 99 bucks
28:01 and I'm like that's ridiculous and now
28:04 now it's $199 I'm like I should have got
28:06 it for the 99 now if you're geeky you
28:10 can use um upscaling within stable
28:12 diffusion in automatic 11-11 so if
28:15 you're an automatic 11-11 person you
28:17 don't need topaz Labs um but you do need
28:20 to to geek out and figure out all the
28:23 [ __ ] settings for how to do image
28:26 upscaling in St diffusion cuzz it's like
28:30 all things stable diffusion it's really
28:32 good really powerful and it requires you
28:33 to have your rocket science degree to
28:36 install it and configure it you you
28:39 should see it's so amazing um Herod
28:43 who's in here spoke at at the AI Salon
28:47 Tuesday night and he logged into
28:50 automatic 1111 feature set and he said
28:53 just the base features of stable
28:55 diffusion it was like three pages of
28:58 like super tiny text three pages of
29:01 features it's it's just crazy Wall
29:03 Street Journal had an article these llms
29:06 are expensive to run yes Microsoft is
29:08 losing money on GitHub co-pilot that
29:12 doesn't surprise me not on 365 yeah
29:15 they'll make their money on 365 the the
29:18 the investment right now is to get as
29:20 much market share as they can I mean the
29:22 the CEO of Microsoft said he would lose
29:24 money on chat GPT like the the Bing chat
29:29 um just to [ __ ] with Google um they
29:32 they've got they've got Office 365 and
29:36 windows they they can charge for it
29:38 they've also got all their cloud
29:39 services they're going to be fine I know
29:41 it's expensive um open AI is apparently
29:45 this was six weeks or so ago there was a
29:49 there was this this mini little rumor
29:51 that oh open AI is going to run out of
29:53 money in 2024 because they're burning
29:56 $700,000 a day and then they hit a
29:58 billion dollar run rate in Revenue so or
30:01 was it a billion I don't know it was
30:03 yeah I think it was a billion so so
30:05 anyway there they're they're doing fine
30:07 they're doing fine less robust models
30:10 might be the new thing to save money I
30:11 think less robust models are in fact I
30:14 just saw there's a 7 billion um 7
30:18 billion parameter model just
30:20 outperformed a 70 billion parameter
30:22 model and can run multimodal locally on
30:26 an M2 Mac this isn't M1 Mac so the Next
30:30 Generation up the current generation of
30:33 Macs can
30:34 run a pretty solid
30:37 multimodal large language model
30:40 locally so there it's going to get it's
30:43 going to get spicy people we're going to
30:46 be able to do all sorts of magic
30:48 [ __ ] that's the other cool thing having
30:50 Dolly 3 inside the mobile app in chat
30:53 GPT where you can just sort of just tell
30:56 it create creative directions and it
30:58 makes images and then you have them in
31:00 your chat history it's pretty slick it's
31:02 pretty dang slick this they it's what's
31:05 it's going to be so
31:09 good why does he talk like this he seems
31:13 is he on
31:14 medications oh he's not oh well I mean
31:17 don't you think maybe he should be I
31:20 don't know I don't know he seems to know
31:23 a lot though doesn't he oh no he just
31:25 makes it up oh he makes it up oh
31:28 oh wait what are his qualif he doesn't
31:31 have any qualifications oh my why why do
31:34 people watch him I
31:37 don't nobody seems to
31:39 know nobody seems to know people all
31:43 right what are we doing
31:46 here I'm going to ask questions pop
31:48 questions in the comments below I'll do
31:50 my best to answer them I need a
31:51 different shirt hold so the Irregulars
31:54 are here they'll take care of you
31:56 they'll answer your questions when
31:57 you're like wait what are his
31:59 qualifications they'll tell you I don't
32:00 have any uh I'm going to go change my
32:02 shirt so we can read the text and uh oh
32:06 while you're waiting you can make money
32:08 with all right I'll be
32:26 back
32:53 [Music]
32:56 for
32:58 [Music]
33:00 cashous clay by bat bot why bot cuz I'm
33:05 Arty okay people I'm boxing and art
33:12 pugilism comicy AI to turn your text
33:15 into Comics comicy AI there's also
33:18 there's a uh there's a uh whatever you
33:21 call it um a Google collab notebook that
33:24 that is a comic maker too
33:27 comic IFI AI hang on let's let's go look
33:31 at it shall
33:32 we
33:34 comic IFI a
33:38 I oh
33:40 kixify no no wait no
33:47 [Music]
33:55 no kamic if
33:57 did I spell it
34:03 [Music]
34:05 right it must be spelled different than
34:07 that oh text to Comics here we go oh
34:10 this is there's an AI for that this is
34:12 one of the sites comic
34:17 IFI visit
34:20 website get
34:24 started all right um
34:37 classic 7s comic book
34:42 of K9 superheroes led by
34:46 Champ and it's called Champ's chubby
34:51 companions black and white Misfit
34:54 dogs roam the city streets and and keep
34:57 it safe from all the Nero well cats and
35:03 purebred
35:06 dogs all right oh wait style of
35:10 comic uh wait is it going
35:15 uh oh stable diffusion key oh this is
35:17 just a stable diffusion model I got to
35:20 go get my stable diffusion
35:23 key I don't know where it is uh this
35:27 work I'll do it later I'm too tired I'm
35:32 too tired to do
35:35 work there's tons of free upscaler out
35:38 there as well yeah Herod D if you uh if
35:41 you would pop pop anyone's that you know
35:44 that are good that don't require a ton
35:45 of configuration just pop them here pop
35:48 them also over in the um maybe in the
35:51 Art Channel The Art Guild over in the in
35:54 the Discord oh let me let me uh show you
35:57 a couple other things started with this
35:59 AI stuff and you haven't played with
36:00 chat GPT go there right now okay go to
36:04 chat thank you Sher Bear for the gummy
36:07 gummies is tasty I like a good gummy
36:11 um just go there now um the other things
36:15 that might be worth screenshotting are
36:18 here's all your image not all jeez this
36:21 is not even close these are the four
36:23 that I think are worth paying attention
36:24 to right now um the only reason don't
36:27 have the stable diffusion World on here
36:30 is it's just really there's there's like
36:32 an infinite amount of projects so um
36:36 these are the ones that if you don't
36:37 feel like configuring computers start
36:40 with these um you can use them online on
36:43 hugging face oh nice oh that's
36:45 great um
36:48 so being uh Dolly 3 is free in bing and
36:53 is going to be coming to chat GPT it's
36:56 really quite good good it's got very
36:59 very good prompt coherence which
37:01 basically just means if you ask for 15
37:03 very specific objects in your prompt
37:06 it'll put those specific objects in your
37:08 image it's it's it's really
37:11 something um ideogram was a darling for
37:14 about a month and then Dolly 3 came out
37:16 mid journey is still the best for art um
37:18 Firefly is good if you work for a
37:22 company screenshot this these are the um
37:26 motion
37:27 picture kind of things animated V or uh
37:31 synthesized voice animated images video
37:35 translation text to
37:37 video text to 3D
37:40 World they're all pretty good and then
37:44 and in these here futurepedia doio
37:46 there's an AI there's an AI for that.com
37:49 our big directories and then Ethan
37:51 mullik David Shapiro on YouTube and Paul
37:55 rer from the marketing AI Institute all
37:58 worth following like follow them they're
38:01 just they're they're they're they're
38:05 baller I don't think that's the right
38:07 term for them but they can play ball
38:10 they can play basketball good on a court
38:14 with
38:16 AI they can make a picture of a
38:19 basketball with AI and that's why they
38:21 call them Ballers cuz they cuz they know
38:24 how to prompt a make a basketball ball
38:27 with AI yeah all right they're smarter
38:31 than me um this was the workshop I did
38:34 the second of three tonight this
38:37 happened tonight from 5: to 7: my time
38:41 and went good we got some people trained
38:44 up on how to do this AI [ __ ] and then
38:47 finally I've been talking a lot about
38:49 the Discord server the AI Discord server
38:52 so the salon. a that URL kind of in the
38:55 middle of all this pack of words here um
38:58 that's the link tree to the AI salon so
39:01 we meet every other week uh there's a
39:03 meet up there we have uh we meet
39:05 virtually but we also meet in person in
39:07 Denver where I
39:08 am and there's a Discord server there's
39:11 a LinkedIn group there's a a description
39:14 of the organization that talks about our
39:18 values and uh yeah it's good tinyurl.com
39:23 kyes AI tools that was put together by
39:25 Thelonius every time I've mentioned a
39:28 tool over like the past four months he's
39:30 been dropping it in a Google spreadsheet
39:32 so there's just a pile of [ __ ] there
39:33 that's stuff that I've either mentioned
39:35 or people that I've mentioned so good
39:37 good good good stuff so anyway do that
39:41 and then and then do me a favor share
39:44 this live tap the screen do the stuff
39:47 you do I would appreciate it um I'm on
39:51 here night after night after night like
39:54 a psychopath all right
39:58 [Music]
40:03 I'm bored of the
40:05 dog maybe we should go make another
40:07 image or two for our little collection
40:09 here no I like this one the beginning is
40:11 here yeah
40:13 people it's not the end is near it's the
40:16 beginning is
40:18 here Kyle I'm just going to hit you with
40:21 the entire secret collection of best AI
40:23 tools perfect that would be awesome I've
40:25 got a i i Herod maybe you can help me I
40:28 got to I got to get my [ __ ] together and
40:30 make some resources that I can just
40:32 point someone to a single thing that's
40:33 got a lot of resources the problem with
40:35 it is this shit's moving so fast that
40:37 keeping up with that stuff's a bit of a
40:39 nightmare so what what I like about my
40:42 little keynote presentation is I can
40:44 just open keynote and change it I don't
40:46 have to worry about Version Control on
40:49 the internets but thanks yeah I would
40:51 appreciate that that's cool all right he
40:54 forgot the pill thanks stallonus nice
40:56 compilation yeah isn't it it's really
40:58 good tonius is dum man moderator please
41:01 pin Kyle please look at play. a for
41:05 scripting yeah I played with that two
41:06 nights ago or three nights ago um play
41:09 dot looks interesting play
41:13 do.ai p l a y d o t do AI so dot dot um
41:20 play
41:21 do.ai is a what's interesting about it
41:26 is
41:27 I
41:29 assume play
41:31 do.
41:33 aai I assume this was this existed
41:37 before oh wait it must not be aai how
41:40 did I get it wrong what did I
41:44 do oh good
41:47 lord oh I know one thing I
41:50 did my I changed
41:53 my display setting to Young
41:58 person to young person settings I got to
42:01 fix that [ __ ] hang
42:04 on I gotta hey Herod you can make fun of
42:08 me now all right I'm going I'm going I'm
42:11 going old school I'm going old
42:16 people here's Kyle's qualifications
42:18 everyone and then it's
42:23 blank um okay play dot I thought it was
42:28 play dot hang on play
42:32 do AI
42:37 screen
42:39 writing oh
42:45 wait oh plot dot good Lord that's right
42:49 not play never mind it's plot Dot Plot
42:54 as in screenplay plot plot dot dot AI
42:57 okay so what this thing
43:00 is your AI powered story crafting
43:04 partner um so what they
43:08 did which I think is pretty smart and I
43:10 I you know what this does what what this
43:12 says to me well I mean tools like this
43:17 there are tons and tons of um tools out
43:22 there for story that are story
43:24 Frameworks right there's the save the
43:25 cat framework and there's the Sid field
43:27 thing and then people build websites and
43:32 software that take the the story
43:34 framework from a book and they make a
43:36 cool tool that you can fill in all of
43:39 the parts of the framework and then at
43:41 the end of that you'll have a well
43:42 structured screenplay and then you can
43:44 start writing your screenplay and you
43:46 won't write as big a piece of
43:48 [ __ ] it'll still be a piece of [ __ ]
43:51 having written seven of
43:53 them you can write shitty screenplays
43:57 uh and try really hard um I've got of my
44:01 seven I would say I've got three that
44:03 are good so it's a less than 50% hit
44:06 rate unless you're you know
44:09 good so what they do here is that that's
44:13 different is see this little unleash
44:15 ideas button so they've got the
44:17 framework where like here's your genre
44:19 your theme your audience the title in
44:20 the log line right so there's there's
44:22 your here's your elevator pitch and then
44:25 you scroll across here it's just like
44:26 it's just like Trello right it's got
44:28 these things so here's the grand scheme
44:30 it's locked because I haven't paid for
44:32 it here's the hero's journey here's
44:35 conflict counterpart so there's all
44:37 these
44:38 different things but what you can do is
44:41 you hit this unleash ideas thing and it
44:44 will write it for you so you can go in
44:46 and you can manually put it in so let's
44:48 say let's say that you had a screenplay
44:50 idea um and and it's you just don't have
44:54 much there well you could just go in and
44:57 you know start with the the log line
44:59 stuff and then move on to the next thing
45:01 I wonder maybe I don't need to pay maybe
45:04 I go let's see
45:06 genre um action
45:10 adventure
45:13 theme Redemption
45:17 story
45:19 audience
45:21 genxers and
45:25 millennials
45:28 unleash
45:47 ideas suggested ideas Redemption
45:50 Road Last Chance Saloon the long ride
45:54 home High Plains Drifter quick in the
45:58 dead oh I see it's just giving me well
46:01 we'll
46:02 do Redemption
46:05 Road Sparkle start Redemption Road after
46:08 a botch Ty so we're going to
46:10 do um
46:12 Redemption dog
46:14 [Music]
46:20 pound log line
46:25 um
46:32 a group of rag
46:37 tag a group of rag tag black and
46:41 white
46:44 muts with bodies the shapes of
46:52 footballs terrorize a town until
46:55 realizing the error of their ways and
46:59 try to make it up to every Kitty that
47:01 they
47:02 bullied
47:05 period
47:07 submit oh yeah okay so I see what you do
47:09 so so you fill in these little bits at a
47:12 time
47:14 and so now brew a premise so now I can
47:17 just say click on this brew a premise
47:19 we'll see if it if it captures it from
47:21 the title it
47:22 should so we can start with a log line
47:25 and then literally just go through here
47:26 and just hit the button hit the button
47:28 hit the button but what's cool is you
47:30 can go back and you can edit this [ __ ]
47:32 right so one of the toughest things
47:35 about writing or or quite frankly any of
47:37 the creative arts is getting to 80%
47:40 right the reason there's writers block
47:42 is like you got you're just staring at
47:44 the blank
47:45 page a group of
47:47 StreetWise
47:50 muts band together what do I do here do
47:53 I just click on one of
47:55 these
48:10 um oh check oh cool okay I see what it
48:18 did
48:20 submit so now I guess it moves me over
48:23 to the next little column so anyway this
48:25 is it
48:27 so you can learn the
48:30 interface but
48:33 um there's the grand screen when a well
48:36 I guess we'll read the grand scheme when
48:38 a Pampered house cat and a StreetWise
48:40 stray unexpectedly switch
48:43 bodies they must put aside their
48:45 differences and work together somehow to
48:47 reverse the switch the house cat
48:49 accustomed to a life of leisure indoors
48:51 must now contend with the harsh
48:53 realities on the
48:54 streets where's my dogs not writing a
48:58 cat movie oh good God don't ever use
49:02 plot dot I they switched it into a cat
49:06 movie uh no it it actually looks pretty
49:08 interesting I just haven't learned the
49:09 interface but um if you want to write a
49:11 screenplay this is this is probably a
49:14 good way to get to 80% pretty quick per
49:19 quick and then you can take what's cool
49:22 about that is you can take the framework
49:23 that you build in plot Dot and take
49:26 components of that over to chat GPT or
49:28 over to Claude Claude you could upload
49:31 the whole [ __ ] thing and then just
49:33 start working on um you know little
49:36 sections of your
49:38 scenes um my experience with
49:42 the screenwriting in particular is it
49:45 tends to make scenes way too short and
49:47 way too Pat so you kind of have to I I
49:51 would think what you'd have to do is
49:52 give it some decent dialogue and scenes
49:55 as example examples so give it the the
49:57 story framework give it some example
49:59 writing and the style that you like and
50:02 scenes that you know have enough Flesh
50:04 on the bone and then have it right in
50:06 that style that that would probably help
50:09 but but honest to God I mean if you took
50:11 something like plot Dot and Claw or chat
50:14 GPT and spent I don't
50:17 know a weekend you could probably have a
50:20 pretty solid
50:22 screenplay and having written seven of
50:24 the [ __ ] like
50:26 I think the fastest one I did was two
50:28 and a half
50:29 months and the slowest one well the
50:32 slowest ones I've got a bunch of them
50:33 that are started that never got off the
50:35 ground I've probably got 10 of
50:37 those and then I've got of the ones I
50:40 finished the longest one was like six
50:42 months like it's It's a Grind it's a
50:44 [ __ ] grind so if you could knock that
50:46 out in a couple of days even if it's
50:48 just decent that's that's an
50:52 accomplishment I'm going to use my
50:54 finger too like instead of my nose now
50:57 I'm going to use my finger too like
50:58 instead of my nose uh I don't know what
51:01 you mean I don't know what you mean
51:03 there Apple user Apple user Nancy's in
51:06 the house can you show an example of how
51:10 you would create a scene with Claud yeah
51:13 sure sure sure sure sure sure sure I can
51:17 do that I could do that for
51:24 you so let's go to cloud
51:28 cloud my name is
51:31 cloud cloud AI this is cloud thank you
51:36 Sher banks for the
51:39 rose I like the
51:43 Roses they smell so sweet even if they
51:47 had another
51:48 name um all right so what am I going to
51:52 do here for
51:54 Claude
51:58 a I like a little dog butt thanks for
52:02 the cute dog butt dog butts is cute
52:05 Champ's got a cute butt don't you
52:09 champy he's sleeping he doesn't want to
52:11 hear me all right what are we going to
52:14 do here so what I'm going to do
52:17 a what do I want to
52:21 [Music]
52:24 do
52:28 hello
52:35 no you're a screenwriting
52:38 consultant that's going to help me make
52:41 sure my story is good I want to create a
52:45 story
52:49 of a mut that got dropped by the side of
52:52 the road and went to the big house and
52:56 did some bad
52:58 things and then found his way oh wait
53:01 why is it not typing oh come
53:07 on can you type can you type no
53:13 [Laughter]
53:23 ah oh God
53:26 H this is going to be ex I there's too
53:29 much to type if I can't do my little
53:31 voicey chat hang on let me reload the
53:37 page can you hear me now
53:40 no oh that was nice what I do there um
53:45 let me go
53:46 Chrome hang on people I'll be right
53:49 there with you we got to get something
53:50 going
53:54 here
53:56 this is chat
53:58 add welcome to chat add does he ever
54:02 finish a sentence
54:10 no is he always like this uhhuh mhm
54:15 mhm isn't this annoying yep but you come
54:19 here every night
54:23 yep I have a problem for I to solve my
54:26 students inability to learn body muscles
54:29 midterms all right forever hooked we can
54:31 do that body muscles we can we can
54:34 definitely do that all right that's
54:35 going to be a fun one let's see if we
54:37 can get this stupid [ __ ] thing to
54:41 type hello can you type yay
54:46 okay this is this is listen 95% of
54:50 computer success is just [ __ ]
54:52 figuring out workarounds for shitty
54:54 software all right
54:57 I I would like to hope that AI is going
54:59 to help solve that but it just it's
55:04 just
55:06 okay you're a Hollywood Story consultant
55:10 and I'd like you to help me work on
55:14 a story not
55:16 Dory story
55:21 consult an
55:23 outline of a screenplay about a dog that
55:29 got left in a ditch in Oklahoma did some
55:32 bad stuff and ended up in the big house
55:36 in Boulder
55:37 Colorado and after two families returned
55:40 him for being a bad dog he was on death
55:44 row when he met the family he's with
55:48 now all right let's see if this can give
55:51 us some sort of outline that's a
55:54 powerful story Redemption of a bad dog
55:57 bad title thought your name was Kyle
56:00 Shanahan at first like the 49ers coach
56:02 you know what's funny red fox is
56:04 whenever the 49ers have a shitty game
56:07 especially if it's a close game I'll
56:09 I'll like log into Twitter and there's
56:10 like there's like 20 you know comments
56:13 there I normally get like two or three
56:15 and and it's usually like why don't you
56:16 learn to coach football you stupid
56:18 [ __ ]
56:19 loser and I'm like maybe maybe you
56:22 should learn how to spell the name of
56:23 your beloved coach you stupid [ __ ]
56:26 loser so happens to me all the time all
56:30 right so let's see um opening scene
56:33 shows a family driving and stopping at a
56:35 ditch where their dog on a road in rural
56:37 Oklahoma they drive away the dogs
56:39 wandering alone looking for food locals
56:42 start calling him bad dog I like
56:46 it um here I'm going to change
56:50 something actually his name is Champ and
56:53 one of the running jokes in the movie is
56:57 that even though his name is Champ he's
57:00 never been a champion of anything it's
57:02 all just participation
57:09 trophies got
57:11 it here's an updated outline name the
57:14 name wait wait the name change adding in
57:17 a parti participation trophy
57:20 joke all right so there's so so there's
57:22 our little threea they're they're pretty
57:24 thin so so now what I'm going to do is
57:26 I'm going to say
57:28 um give me a character list of the major
57:36 characters a description of
57:39 them their personality and their role
57:43 within the
57:48 plot so even though you can say just
57:51 start writing a scene if it doesn't know
57:54 if you don't know who the Char
57:55 characters are you don't really know
57:56 what the story is you you know you kind
57:59 of are kind of screwed uh tonius the
58:02 Humane AI pin was first revealed at the
58:05 Ted
58:06 conference in April 2023 oh that's cool
58:10 that's super
58:12 cool champ the protagonist a scruffy mix
58:15 breed dog who was ditched in Oklahoma
58:17 he's excitable but
58:19 undisciplined that's that's that's
58:21 accurate leading to trouble his Arc is
58:24 learning to become a loyal dog worthy of
58:26 his champ name is that you champy are
58:28 you worthy of your name Sam the shelter
58:31 worker who sees something in champ
58:33 that's good that's good the Wilson
58:35 family the family that that ultimately
58:37 adopts him it's the Shannon family but
58:39 that's okay we'll go Wilson Tom the
58:42 father hesitant about champ at first but
58:45 warms up to him that is accurate this is
58:47 a
58:48 documentary Rex a territorial stray dog
58:52 who threatens the Wilson family until
58:53 champ defends them
58:55 and finds his Redemption Rex serves as
58:57 the antagonist that champ must overcome
59:01 shelter staff
59:05 um I'd like to write a scene with champ
59:08 and his street buddies so can you give
59:12 me the three buddies he ped around with
59:17 after he was abandoned in the
59:24 ditch
59:28 and and what I'm what I'm doing here is
59:31 this is this is I mean I mean most of
59:34 the time when I'm using AI it's not like
59:38 like the fantasy of Google is you put in
59:41 the magic prompt and you get back the
59:43 magic answer the reality is you put in
59:46 an imperfect prompt you get back 4,000
59:48 [ __ ] answers and it's a disaster
59:51 working with AI is more like having a
59:53 conversation with a writing partner
59:55 partner right where it's you're
59:57 providing it a lot more context and then
59:59 it's contributing context back to you
1:00:01 and you're going back and forth and
1:00:03 going no that's not quite right oh
1:00:04 that's
1:00:05 good and if you treat it like that if
1:00:08 you treat it like an intern that needs a
1:00:11 lot of coaching it's it's really good
1:00:13 scruffy meatball and
1:00:15 lucky a w Wy terrier mix of bulky
1:00:18 lumbering Mastiff with a big appetite
1:00:21 he's not too bright but provides the
1:00:23 brawn okay this is good
1:00:31 perfect I'd like you to give me a brief
1:00:33 outline of the
1:00:35 scene
1:00:38 where champ is
1:00:40 accepted into the gang with scruffy
1:00:43 meatball and lucky
1:00:46 period there should be some resistance
1:00:49 but champ just has something about
1:00:54 him
1:00:55 that
1:00:58 melts scruffy's
1:01:04 heart although I've been doing a deep
1:01:07 dive into melanin extraction for use in
1:01:10 Material Science and holy moly oh
1:01:14 wow wow that's pretty cool opening shot
1:01:18 of Scruffy meatball and lucky rumaging
1:01:20 through trash in an alley champ champ
1:01:22 wanders up drawn by the smell of food
1:01:25 scruffy questions champ
1:01:27 explains he got ditched scruffy seems
1:01:31 reluctant okay so I'm just gonna
1:01:34 say okay write that scene and do your
1:01:37 best to format it
1:01:39 in traditional screen writing
1:01:45 format be sure to
1:01:48 include camera
1:01:51 angles
1:01:53 and action
1:02:01 notes exterior back allei day scruffy
1:02:04 meatball and lucky poke through the
1:02:06 overlapping overflowing dumpster
1:02:08 Scavenging for scraps scruffy who's this
1:02:11 Joker champ stops meets Stuffy's glare
1:02:14 the other two pause let me make these
1:02:17 bigger so you can see a little bit a
1:02:20 little bit
1:02:21 there all right this is writing it
1:02:23 pretty good all right uh champ wanders
1:02:25 into the alley who's this Joker champ
1:02:27 stop meeting scruffy's glare the two
1:02:29 scare stare wait the other two pause
1:02:33 their Scavenging to stare champ I'm
1:02:35 champ just got ditched out here don't
1:02:37 know the ropes yet e that's not great
1:02:39 scruffy wey we don't take kindly to
1:02:43 Outsiders around
1:02:44 here
1:02:46 um scruffy remains wait a give him a
1:02:49 chance scruffy scruffy remains
1:02:51 unconvinced just then Champ's ears perk
1:02:53 up at a sound in the distance champ
1:02:56 barking dog catcher run whip pan right
1:03:01 whip pan quick cam remove to the dog
1:03:04 catcher van rolling up chaotic music
1:03:06 kicks in dogs Sprint and scramble to
1:03:08 escape Quick Cuts to dogs dodging
1:03:10 through D alleys and streets champ keeps
1:03:13 Pace natural Street instincts on display
1:03:16 finally they duck under a fence
1:03:18 collapsing in an exhausted pile scruffy
1:03:20 regards champ with new respect not bad
1:03:23 newbie you can run with us for now champ
1:03:25 grins teeth Laing okay that's that's
1:03:28 it's like it's decent so I go that's a
1:03:31 decent start but there should be
1:03:35 more inside jokes that only dogs would
1:03:38 say to one
1:03:40 another and there should be a bit more
1:03:43 dialogue before the action
1:03:49 scene I don't even know what I meant
1:03:51 that there should be more doglike stuff
1:03:55 but that's what we have with AI now you
1:03:57 can give it shitty instructions and let
1:03:59 it figure it
1:04:01 out it's like you know you got you got
1:04:05 an idiot savant at your disposal you
1:04:07 might as well use it right um scruffy
1:04:10 smells like humans tossed a whole Feast
1:04:12 last night I called dibs on any left
1:04:14 leftover drumsticks so it started with
1:04:16 some better stuff scruffy you lost buddy
1:04:20 names champ just got ditched out on the
1:04:22 black Trail that's rough you smell like
1:04:24 you could use a bath too
1:04:26 good um you try finding clean ponds out
1:04:29 in the brush meatball growling we don't
1:04:32 need another flea bag around here champ
1:04:34 stands firm I ain't no parasite pup just
1:04:38 thought of you just thought you dogs
1:04:40 could show me the ropes scruffy um those
1:04:44 are some sharp claws you got there champ
1:04:46 the better to tear through tasty bags of
1:04:50 trash Oh so here they didn't okay so we
1:04:53 lost the we lost the dog catcher
1:04:55 this is much better tone but we lost the
1:04:57 dog catcher can you incorporate the two
1:05:01 drafts that you've
1:05:03 created and it will so that's how I
1:05:06 would do a scene and and you know
1:05:09 there's a point at
1:05:11 which for now right until these tools
1:05:14 like maybe GPT 5 or six where these
1:05:16 things are going to be really [ __ ]
1:05:18 good but right now like doing this kind
1:05:22 of back and forth with it whatever the
1:05:24 took me 10 minutes I can get this to you
1:05:28 know 80%
1:05:31 85% of decent right and then I and then
1:05:35 I write and then it's then it's on me to
1:05:38 turn it not shitty Silver Fox thank you
1:05:40 so much appreciate
1:05:41 that good to see
1:05:45 you
1:05:47 um ain't no parasite pup did it write
1:05:50 the thing you're absolutely
1:05:53 right
1:06:01 yeah see see like it it it added the the
1:06:04 dog catcher back in but it like they
1:06:06 lost the dialogue they lost all the
1:06:08 details of it where they were running
1:06:10 around so like that's an example where
1:06:13 it's one of the things I've noticed is
1:06:14 and this this could be um a CLA thing is
1:06:18 that it tends to kind of truncate things
1:06:22 like like if you really wanted to write
1:06:24 something there's probably a way to get
1:06:26 it to do it I just haven't I just
1:06:27 haven't figured it out
1:06:29 yet all right so if you got questions
1:06:33 pop them in the comments below it's
1:06:35 10:00 I got a little bit more little bit
1:06:38 more time I'm a little tired I got well
1:06:41 the hair is it's if I look like that
1:06:43 it's Buster po Dexter if I look like
1:06:45 that it's just like an unfortunate T pay
1:06:47 gone wrong or two three three or four
1:06:50 two pays gone wrong um oh someone wanted
1:06:54 me
1:06:55 to teach kids
1:06:59 about muscles the names of muscles in
1:07:02 the body
1:07:03 right so we're going to go to chat JP
1:07:08 T hello chat J is that a chat J in your
1:07:13 pocket or are you just happy to see
1:07:16 me
1:07:18 uh free research preview why is my chat
1:07:22 JP not there
1:07:25 there it is all right we're going to go
1:07:29 gp4 oh this is going to be good
1:07:37 okay Siri you
1:07:43 there Siri took over my
1:07:49 microphone and to quit Chrome and to
1:07:52 quit Chrome okay
1:07:58 yeah uh oh Microsoft I know what it is
1:08:01 Microsoft Edge just poop the bed that's
1:08:03 what's going on all right the beginning
1:08:06 is
1:08:07 here can you create an image in mid
1:08:09 journey to understand the steps yep I
1:08:12 can absolutely do that in fact let me
1:08:14 I'll launch Edge we'll get that going
1:08:19 back I'll relaunch my tabs cuz I'm a tab
1:08:23 hoarder any tab hoarders in the house
1:08:26 tab hoarders in the house tap that
1:08:27 screen share the live oh yeah we like
1:08:30 our
1:08:35 tabs um I'll I'll I'll do mid Journey
1:08:38 after this let me let me let me do this
1:08:40 muscle thing because I think this could
1:08:42 be
1:08:44 cool uh uhuh so I'm doing gp4 I'm going
1:08:47 to do it in
1:08:51 DOI Siri is always there
1:08:58 you are a senior
1:09:02 physiologist
1:09:04 for the Yale School of
1:09:07 Medicine and you
1:09:10 specialize in teaching people how to
1:09:14 memorize the muscles of the human
1:09:18 body period I've got a class
1:09:23 of
1:09:25 Middle School neru
1:09:28 Wells that can't seem to get it through
1:09:31 their sick thick skulls the difference
1:09:34 between a trapezoid and a quadricep
1:09:38 period haaha
1:09:43 haa can you help me come up with a
1:09:48 game that is incredibly easy to
1:09:52 teach and that uses
1:09:57 is
1:09:59 proven
1:10:01 psychological
1:10:03 methods to make it fun and easy to learn
1:10:08 all the muscles of the
1:10:11 body let's see what this does of course
1:10:14 here's a simple game I I mean for one
1:10:17 thing the the other thing that blows me
1:10:19 away about large language models is like
1:10:22 however long the latency is what was at
1:10:24 a second like it it it honest to God
1:10:27 doesn't matter if you're like invent
1:10:29 some new game for how to teach muscle
1:10:30 stuff or like explain quantum physics to
1:10:33 me or I'd like to understand how to you
1:10:35 know I don't know make a garden it it
1:10:39 just it's like it's all there it's all
1:10:42 there now is it always right no does it
1:10:44 hallucinate yes is it often just like
1:10:48 horribly laughably bad yes but the fact
1:10:51 that it does it at all is
1:10:55 staggering and if you don't think it's
1:10:56 staggering you haven't been paying
1:10:58 attention for the last 50 [ __ ]
1:11:02 years we've been being told for 20 years
1:11:07 that AI chatbots or that chatbots first
1:11:10 and then AI chat Bots were going to be a
1:11:12 thing thank you Sherry
1:11:15 Banks and they sucked why did they suck
1:11:18 because they had to be hand
1:11:20 programmed in logic trees to say if
1:11:23 someone says this then respond with this
1:11:26 and if they say it this way then here's
1:11:28 the two options you can randomly there's
1:11:31 like they had to type in all that
1:11:32 [ __ ] logic there were rooms full of
1:11:34 people trying to figure out all the ways
1:11:36 that humans could talk to one of these
1:11:38 robots and guess what humans are
1:11:39 [ __ ] they don't follow predictable
1:11:42 paths well they they follow a lot of
1:11:44 predictable paths
1:11:46 but the the variations in language are
1:11:50 [ __ ] stupid right you can't go from
1:11:53 talking about death to talking about
1:11:55 quantum physics to talking about a
1:11:56 stupid movie about a chubby dog but
1:11:59 that's what humans do and these things
1:12:01 don't care they just take it they're
1:12:02 like yes boss here you go we're off
1:12:04 let's do this all right the muscle
1:12:06 matchup game match the muscle name to
1:12:09 its correct location in the body a large
1:12:11 poster of a human body without the
1:12:13 muscle names located a set of muscle
1:12:15 name cards velcro okay so this is great
1:12:20 but this is great but what I would like
1:12:24 is oh no it's not typing again oh that's
1:12:27 Siri that's got to be
1:12:29 Siri she's so
1:12:31 jealous hello hello
1:12:38 oh your prompt was brilliant make the AI
1:12:42 specialist in how to teach not what to
1:12:45 teach yeah thank
1:12:48 you um and so so let's say Okay um yes
1:12:53 oh there we go I think I think it'll
1:12:54 come back yes but no okay let's see yes
1:12:59 but I want a game that can be
1:13:06 played just in this chat with without
1:13:11 physical
1:13:13 props can you create a clever
1:13:19 way to group the
1:13:22 muscles
1:13:25 per
1:13:28 body
1:13:30 wait per body
1:13:35 part and make it a
1:13:40 fun back and forth game I don't know
1:13:44 what that
1:13:45 means but the answer absolutely it's
1:13:49 called the muscle chain
1:13:51 challenge the game will focus on
1:13:54 the memory chain method which I assume
1:13:57 is a thing where each subsequent item in
1:13:59 this case a muscle is linked to the
1:14:01 previous one in a logical or thematic
1:14:03 way objective players will take turns
1:14:06 naming muscles that belong to a specific
1:14:09 body part the catch is that each muscle
1:14:12 named must start with the last letter of
1:14:14 the previous named muscle oh that's kind
1:14:16 of cool the challenge is to keep the
1:14:19 game going without repeating the muscle
1:14:21 or naming one that doesn't fit in the
1:14:22 category
1:14:24 decide on the body parts no repeating
1:14:26 muscles so player one
1:14:29 biceps biceps ends with an s player two
1:14:34 superator starts with an
1:14:38 S but then it it failed like it fail
1:14:42 it's game it's game failed cuz superator
1:14:45 ends with an r and then the next one
1:14:46 started with a t
1:14:50 um I don't like this game h i I don't
1:14:54 like this game um is there another
1:15:03 where we use what's it
1:15:12 called I don't know another
1:15:17 method but anyway this this is how I do
1:15:20 it I I would I would you know basically
1:15:23 have it coach you creative ways to get
1:15:27 them either motivated or playing a game
1:15:29 gamify it or turn it into a an award a
1:15:32 reward system where they get you know I
1:15:36 don't know how old they are
1:15:37 but a case of beer
1:15:41 or or or a pack of cigarettes you know
1:15:44 if they're if they're in middle school
1:15:46 it's beer and cigarettes if they're
1:15:48 older then you got different things to
1:15:49 do um so what did it say to do here it
1:15:52 said the muscle storytelling challenge
1:15:54 set up choose a body part to focus on
1:15:57 decide who starts the story The Starting
1:16:00 player begins with a sentence or two
1:16:02 that sets the scene and includes a
1:16:04 muscle from The Chosen body
1:16:07 part the next player continues the story
1:16:10 adding their sentence and incorporating
1:16:12 a different muscle so player one in the
1:16:14 quiet town of myofascia Sally always
1:16:18 raised her frontalis in Surprise
1:16:21 whenever she saw a shooting star it's
1:16:22 pretty good
1:16:24 one evening as she looked up her
1:16:27 obicularis oculi tightened
1:16:32 noticing a star moving in an unusual
1:16:35 pattern she smiled her zygomaticus major
1:16:40 pulling up the corners of her mouth
1:16:42 realizing that the star was actually a
1:16:44 friendly alien spaceship it's pretty
1:16:47 good there you
1:16:51 go repeat after me Kyle Siri's wonderful
1:16:55 I will never never say that even if they
1:16:58 fix Siri I'm still I've got a bad taste
1:17:00 in my mouth with Siri she is jealous she
1:17:03 is
1:17:05 spiteful she's a showof and a
1:17:07 know-it-all even though she knows
1:17:09 nothing all right somebody wanted to see
1:17:12 midj Journey so how do you do mid
1:17:14 Journey well first of all okay let's
1:17:16 let's let's take the entire [ __ ] tour
1:17:19 because you want to see what a nightmare
1:17:21 mid Journey really is go to Mid
1:17:22 journey.com
1:17:25 and welcome to Crypt bro
1:17:29 heaven so this is mid Journey which is
1:17:31 fine right looks like looks like um The
1:17:36 Matrix like shitty Matrix
1:17:40 right by the way it's been like this for
1:17:42 two years it's like really could you
1:17:44 [ __ ] get a
1:17:45 designer
1:17:48 um get started showcase join the beta
1:17:52 sign in
1:17:54 join the beta you click here watch what
1:17:56 happens this is so
1:17:57 exciting all right I'm going to go into
1:18:00 this web page and wait wait what what
1:18:02 where am what what's that oh wait
1:18:06 what I don't what are what are those why
1:18:09 are there 100,000 join the stage what's
1:18:12 the stage what H okay so what
1:18:19 happened when you click on join the beta
1:18:21 on the mid Journey page it takes you to
1:18:23 ORD and it jumps you into the Discord
1:18:25 channel so here we are in Discord let me
1:18:28 explain Discord down the left hand side
1:18:30 you got all these things those are your
1:18:31 servers that's the mid Journey one
1:18:33 that's the one we just jumped in then
1:18:35 within the server you've got
1:18:36 conversations right so these are the
1:18:38 little conversations in there people are
1:18:40 in there chatting around there's all
1:18:42 sorts of gamification they do where you
1:18:44 got to click on icons and [ __ ] like that
1:18:46 so anyway um so you can make images in
1:18:50 the newbies channel in mid Journey but
1:18:52 you can also
1:18:54 install the mid Journey bot in your own
1:18:56 server or other people install it in
1:18:59 their servers so I'm going to go to the
1:19:00 AI Salon cuz I know it and it's full of
1:19:03 swell people like the Irregulars have
1:19:04 their own little channel right there
1:19:06 little little special secret secret den
1:19:10 and then we also have a mid Journey play
1:19:13 channel so this is where you can make
1:19:14 mid Journey so it looks like Robert
1:19:17 Roger dabbling in art has been dabbling
1:19:19 in art that's actually a cool image
1:19:22 Roger is a really cool story too he
1:19:24 started out as a engineer just like um
1:19:27 Herod who's in here started as an
1:19:29 engineer and now he's doing some art
1:19:31 [ __ ] it's pretty cool
1:19:34 okay so the way you make images in mid
1:19:38 journey is super intuitive you type
1:19:42 slash and then
1:19:44 imagine how am I supposed to remember
1:19:46 that you just do and then um and then it
1:19:49 gives you a prompt box and then you can
1:19:52 put anything you want in there there
1:19:54 there are a lot of things that you can
1:19:55 do within mid Journey prompts that help
1:19:59 but one resource that I'll point you
1:20:03 to is this thing down here open
1:20:07 art.i
1:20:09 promptbook this is like a 96 slide
1:20:13 PowerPoint presentation that talks about
1:20:15 how to prompt stable diffusion but the
1:20:18 concepts in it are transferable across
1:20:20 all the image generation tools these
1:20:24 systems know camera angles and camera
1:20:26 lenses and film types and illustration
1:20:29 Styles and art styles and artists and
1:20:32 they're they're really quite remarkable
1:20:33 in how much stuff's in there so you can
1:20:38 you can use a tool like that the other
1:20:39 thing that you can do is you can use um
1:20:42 prompt augmenters for lack of a better
1:20:45 term so I'm going to go to a site called
1:20:47 po.com which I talk about a lot in
1:20:51 here and po just like chat GPT except
1:20:55 it's got these things called Bots and
1:20:58 Bots do some cool
1:21:02 [ __ ] one of the Bots is called mid
1:21:04 journey and if you go to the mid Journey
1:21:07 bot and you type in a shitty prompt this
1:21:10 will make it a less shitty
1:21:20 prompt illustration of a chubby black H
1:21:26 my yeah my machine's got to restart God
1:21:28 damn it
1:21:30 illustration of a chubby black and
1:21:35 white and dog
1:21:39 um running with other
1:21:44 Strays from the dog
1:21:47 catcher so we'll do a little storyboard
1:21:50 from our movie so I wrote that and then
1:21:53 it writes color photo of a chubby black
1:21:56 and white dog running with other Strays
1:21:58 a blur of motion and freedom in their
1:22:01 wild escape the dog's coat is a
1:22:03 patchwork of contrasting Hues with
1:22:05 splotches of Ebony and Ivory creating a
1:22:08 mesmerizing B the camera is a vintage
1:22:11 Nikon F3 loaded with a roll of so wait
1:22:14 it didn't do an illustration did it it
1:22:15 did a color photo okay whatever we'll do
1:22:17 a color photo so I'm just going to copy
1:22:20 all this now this might not be right and
1:22:22 I might choose to to you know change all
1:22:24 this [ __ ] out but it's at least a
1:22:26 starting place so now I'm going to go
1:22:27 back to Discord and I'm just going to
1:22:29 paste that long mess in there I'm also
1:22:32 going to change this last little these
1:22:35 commands at the end-- AR stands for
1:22:38 aspect ratio and it defaults to 2 three
1:22:41 which is a portrait like this box but I
1:22:45 want it to be like a movie so I'm going
1:22:46 to go 16 colon
1:22:50 9 and then it does it's th
1:22:54 and it goes off and it's thinking and
1:22:57 it's going to make us some pretty
1:22:58 pictures and what's cool is you'll see
1:22:59 as these as these images come
1:23:01 in um they're going to come in really
1:23:03 blurry at first see that there there's
1:23:06 like nothing there you're like well
1:23:07 what's that that's just the way
1:23:09 diffusion models work they start you
1:23:11 know blown out and then they get
1:23:15 generally less shitty and less shitty
1:23:17 and less shitty and till they look good
1:23:20 these are the best looking homeless dogs
1:23:23 I've ever
1:23:24 seen this is a Purina commercial not not
1:23:27 a homeless dog
1:23:31 movie but that's
1:23:32 [Laughter]
1:23:35 okay and so then you can go look at your
1:23:38 your options so we got some
1:23:40 options and I think this one's just
1:23:43 stylistically the most interesting but
1:23:45 so look at some things you can do here
1:23:48 so when you make images you get these
1:23:51 boxes below them U one through 4 and V1
1:23:54 through 4 isn't that
1:23:57 intuitive what's that mean Kyle well you
1:24:00 should you should figure it out you dumb
1:24:03 dumb why are you not infinitely
1:24:07 smart you means upscale V means
1:24:10 variation why they can't just say make
1:24:13 it bigger give me more whatever it's
1:24:15 it's just this is
1:24:16 like kind of the philosophy within
1:24:19 Discord is if you can't if you're not
1:24:20 smart enough to figure it out you don't
1:24:21 belog in our stupid Club so that's one
1:24:24 of the reasons I don't like it but it is
1:24:27 powerful
1:24:28 so so I'm going to take this one which I
1:24:31 I really like the composition of that
1:24:33 I'm going to do a A variation on that so
1:24:35 the images are numbered 1 2 3 4 and then
1:24:39 I'm going to go
1:24:40 V4 and now it's going to go off and make
1:24:43 me four variations of that and hopefully
1:24:45 one of those will be good and if not
1:24:46 I'll just upscale that
1:24:51 one
1:24:54 ah oh
1:25:00 [Music]
1:25:06 yeah Apple user 9 whatever I don't know
1:25:09 the rest of your number there but thank
1:25:10 you for the
1:25:12 Roses the roses are very sweet I do
1:25:15 appreciate
1:25:18 good um these are pretty
1:25:21 good
1:25:26 93% I
1:25:30 think which one are we going to
1:25:33 do okay that one looks
1:25:37 maniacal this one looks pretty dirty
1:25:39 this one could actually
1:25:41 be there's a few too many dogs there all
1:25:45 right let's go with the maniacal one
1:25:46 we'll go with number one okay so what
1:25:48 we're going to do
1:25:49 is we're going to go U1 now up scale one
1:25:54 and so that's going to give us this big
1:25:56 boy here going to be fantastic Bob tell
1:25:58 him what is
1:25:59 won you know what you
1:26:02 won
1:26:03 nothing you ain't won [ __ ] Buck cuz you
1:26:07 never win [ __ ] Buck you're a loser
1:26:13 Buck
1:26:15 loser he a loser
1:26:19 baby why don't you sue me I could have
1:26:23 been a singer I could have been a
1:26:25 singer I I just decided I wanted to stay
1:26:28 in town you know it was I was thinking
1:26:31 about going to Nashville but whatever
1:26:33 you know I stayed in town I you know it
1:26:36 was good I'm good it's I don't drink
1:26:39 that
1:26:41 much oh okay it's done so here we are
1:26:44 here's our picture there's our large
1:26:46 picture now let's say for
1:26:49 example let's say that's great but I'd
1:26:52 like to see a little bit more of the
1:26:53 scenery well there's all these things
1:26:56 down here now that you can do you can
1:26:58 make this a square image you can zoom
1:27:01 out so it'll it's called out painting
1:27:03 it'll fill in around the outside of it
1:27:06 you can pan to the left or pan to the
1:27:08 right so let's say h no let's let's zoom
1:27:11 out we'll we'll zoom out
1:27:14 1.5 and so the dogs will get smaller in
1:27:17 the frame but we'll see more of the
1:27:18 thing they're running through Sher D
1:27:20 chat gbt oh that's hilarious
1:27:28 that's really
1:27:30 funny that's
1:27:38 good are we zooming out what's going on
1:27:40 here people oh yeah there we go so so
1:27:43 now it's zooming out it's going to give
1:27:45 us four more of the zoomed out ones so
1:27:47 we've got the kind of rendered thing in
1:27:49 the middle and then it's filling out all
1:27:50 the stuff on the outside
1:27:53 right and just to remind you here's
1:27:55 where we started see how his head's
1:27:56 right close to the top and his feet are
1:27:58 right on the bottom and now it's zoomed
1:28:03 out very
1:28:09 [Music]
1:28:17 cool uh let's upscale I don't think it
1:28:20 matters these are all kind of the same
1:28:24 where's what has the least weird feet oh
1:28:26 this is we're looking at the backgrounds
1:28:28 I
1:28:29 guess
1:28:33 um I don't know they're all the [ __ ]
1:28:35 same all right I'll do upscale
1:28:38 two upscale
1:28:45 two there you
1:28:48 go as if we
1:28:51 tried look it's like a movie it's so
1:28:55 it's so real you can reach out and touch
1:28:57 it it smells like dog in
1:28:59 [Laughter]
1:29:02 here what's that smell that's champ oh
1:29:07 that's wet dog all
1:29:13 right all right let's see one more
1:29:15 little Deep dive so do me a favor if
1:29:17 you're in here and enjoying this um tap
1:29:20 the like screen I don't know share the
1:29:23 live oh follow me follow the channel
1:29:26 That would be great follow the channel
1:29:28 why not because you know what give to
1:29:31 the elderly Kyle's live is so funny I
1:29:35 have learned it is more impressive to be
1:29:38 funny than to be this is going to be
1:29:41 good than to be qualified I knew it was
1:29:45 coming that is correct that is correct
1:29:49 be funny you don't have to be qualified
1:29:52 that's my
1:29:54 wholeo um what am I doing I'm
1:29:57 speaking Saturday at the AI Peaks
1:30:01 conference here in Boulder
1:30:03 Colorado um I'm talking about if you if
1:30:07 you go to my channel the the two top
1:30:09 pinned videos are
1:30:11 um videos I did on how 1993 uh how 2023
1:30:17 is the new 1995 how what's going on with
1:30:21 AI right now is very very reminiscent of
1:30:23 the early days of the worldwide web we
1:30:25 need trotting turtles not dogs we do oh
1:30:29 let's you know what let's see if we can
1:30:30 oh oh so so this is amazing so I'm used
1:30:34 to playing
1:30:36 in chat GPT with do right
1:30:41 now and if if I were doing this in
1:30:45 DOI and it created that image and then
1:30:49 you made that comment oh this should be
1:30:50 trotting turtles not dogs in Del or in
1:30:53 chbt I would just go oh give me that
1:30:56 same picture but make it trotting
1:30:58 Turtles instead of dogs and it would
1:31:01 just it would rewrite the prompt for me
1:31:02 but I'm I'm realizing now in in mid
1:31:05 Journey if I want that I'm kind of on my
1:31:08 own so here's what so I'll show you a
1:31:12 cool thing here so we'll see if we can
1:31:14 get some trouting Turtles okay so I'm
1:31:17 going to say I'm going to copy this
1:31:19 image
1:31:21 URL so this is how you can use an image
1:31:23 as a start point for another
1:31:28 image so I'm going to do SL imagine
1:31:31 because command line is the only way to
1:31:34 make images oh I love that Winston thank
1:31:37 you very much level 26 for Winston good
1:31:40 Lord dude you're the best all right so
1:31:43 we're going to do imagine oh no we're
1:31:46 not I did Slash am imagine oh come
1:31:50 on SL am
1:31:52 am we'll click it how's that okay and
1:31:56 then I'm going to paste in the URL of
1:31:58 the
1:31:59 image and then I'm going to go get this
1:32:02 big long URL of that of the
1:32:14 image copy and I'm going to paste it at
1:32:17 the end of this
1:32:21 thing
1:32:30 and then I'm going to
1:32:32 change what did you say Trot oh trotting
1:32:35 Turtles right
1:32:39 okay color photo of a
1:32:46 chubby
1:32:48 zombie
1:32:51 turtle
1:32:53 running with other are they amphibians
1:32:56 no
1:32:58 wait I think they
1:33:00 are
1:33:04 they're I don't [ __ ] know running
1:33:08 with
1:33:12 other
1:33:15 trotting
1:33:17 Turtles from the turtle
1:33:21 catcher
1:33:23 the Turtles
1:33:27 shell I I I'm actually glad I'm doing
1:33:29 this because this is reminding me what a
1:33:33 pain in the ass it is to have to do all
1:33:34 this prompting and Dolly 3 inside chat
1:33:38 gbt just makes all this [ __ ] go
1:33:41 away splotches of Ebony and Ivory
1:33:44 splotches of green and
1:33:48 brown mesmerizing pattern plump body
1:33:51 bounces is
1:33:54 the
1:33:56 turtle I'm going to just lose that
1:34:03 sentence surrounding the scene is a
1:34:06 vibrant Urban environment it completely
1:34:08 missed that so I'm going to say Pond
1:34:11 environment with
1:34:13 trees towering in the background this is
1:34:16 a real pain in the ass all right I'm
1:34:18 going to get rid of the rest of this
1:34:19 because I'm just I'm done I'm done
1:34:25 okay let's see what this
1:34:30 does see if we can get a decent Turtle
1:34:33 running trotting Turtle photo I doubt it
1:34:36 I think this is going to fail miserably
1:34:38 we'll
1:34:42 see that um that rewriting of the prompt
1:34:45 is a real pain in the
1:34:47 ass I've never come I'm canceling my
1:34:49 mid-journey
1:34:50 subscription I didn't think I'd ever say
1:34:53 that cuzz as much as I hate those are
1:34:55 not they're still
1:34:58 dogs H they're rounder are they Turtle
1:35:06 dogs no they're just
1:35:11 dogs oh wait no they it looks like they
1:35:13 do have turtle
1:35:16 shells do
1:35:18 they sort
1:35:20 of oh that's kind of a
1:35:23 turtle that's kind of a turtle that
1:35:26 actually looks a lot like
1:35:28 champ that's sort of turtle like these
1:35:31 are kind of dog Turtles these are
1:35:35 definitely Turtle bodies with dog faces
1:35:37 but it kept the it it maintained the
1:35:40 um that was [ __ ] hilarious I'm G to
1:35:44 I'm going to do variations on these
1:35:47 two
1:35:49 um so I'm going to do a variation on two
1:35:51 two and four right 1 2 3 4 variation
1:35:56 two and then variation
1:35:59 four and so that's going to go give us
1:36:03 some cool
1:36:15 [ __ ] Rotator muscle Pate I guess I may
1:36:20 be overly enthusiastic but I guess get
1:36:22 that
1:36:23 way bubbles burst related to
1:36:28 investing oh my God that's fantastic I
1:36:31 don't know what that was in reference to
1:36:33 Forever hooked was that the prompts
1:36:35 about the game how about using music or
1:36:38 a song for the
1:36:40 muscles Kyle I'm sure you didn't mean
1:36:42 that she may be listening you know I
1:36:45 know I know that all that old
1:36:50 Siri let's see see that those look like
1:36:53 turtles and they're they're they're they
1:36:56 look like turtles but they run like dogs
1:36:59 that looks like a dog that's man these
1:37:01 things are terrifying these are some
1:37:03 sort of clamation nasty action let's
1:37:06 upscale the one that actually looks like
1:37:08 a turtle and then let's go look at the
1:37:10 other
1:37:15 four that's kind of a turtle that's
1:37:17 definitely a turtle back oh those are
1:37:20 turtles all right number two is the one
1:37:24 number two is good all right so we got
1:37:28 what did we say upscale two all
1:37:36 right nice nice nice
1:37:39 nice trotting
1:37:42 Turtles I think this next one is the one
1:37:44 though
1:37:46 yeah there's your money shot people look
1:37:49 at that trotting
1:37:52 Turtles running from the turtle
1:37:55 catcher Kyle what does the circle key
1:37:58 between U1 and V1 do it's basically just
1:38:01 a reroll button so let me see where it
1:38:06 is this thing is just a it's just a uh I
1:38:11 hate them all it's basically start
1:38:15 over I had an acting teacher once this
1:38:18 is the meanest thing I've ever heard I
1:38:21 had an acting teacher once this woman
1:38:24 and a guy were doing a scene and the
1:38:26 scene finished and she was horrible she
1:38:28 wasn't prepared and she was
1:38:31 bad and and the the teacher guy named
1:38:36 Bill esper was um he was sitting in his
1:38:40 chair and he goes yes yes he goes
1:38:43 um yes
1:38:46 um why don't we try that again and this
1:38:49 time why don't you try it as if if you
1:38:52 had
1:39:00 Talent oh my God that was the deepest
1:39:03 troll that was that was trolling before
1:39:06 trolling existed I don't know how she
1:39:08 didn't just [ __ ] storm out of the
1:39:09 room I'm pretty sure she was sobbing in
1:39:11 the corner for for a little bit after
1:39:15 that yes why don't we try that again as
1:39:19 if you had Talent
1:39:24 all right there's your mid Journey
1:39:26 lesson good God good God that makes me
1:39:40 appreciate can I talk to this yet hello

1:40:14 words the
1:40:20 Irregulars d d let's see but look at
1:40:23 this so I could just type in stuff and
1:40:25 it does the promp thing it does the
1:40:27 promp
1:40:28 thing come on
1:40:30 people are you not watching this are you
1:40:33 not seeing this so it's going to do a
1:40:36 photo for the first one an illustration
1:40:38 for the second one a vector design for
1:40:41 the third one and a rendered
1:40:45 image I guess oh that's like a 3D
1:40:47 rendered image for the third
1:40:50 one
1:40:53 I actually really like this this Turtle

1:41:50 appropriate

1:41:56 of these images because if it misspells
1:41:58 it then you're like yeah it's just your
1:42:00 [Laughter]
