13. 2:51I'll share whatever wisdom I've gleaned I'll make fun of people I'll make fun of myself uh shame is my love language I tend to lead with

18. 3:44learning lab this is this is really just you know me kind of sharing stuff in real time as I'm learning it so this as
19. 3:52much as anything this is for me to just process all of what's Happening you don't need to be super technical to do
20. 3:58this AI stuff you you can just be human and uh you can do some pretty remarkable stuff just by being human so so hang out

28. 5:08know there's some creepiness to it and then in that film for me represents oh it could be that too so yeah that's really cool that's

33. 5:56request in here is just try the [ __ ] don't sit on on the sidelines you don't have to love it you can recognize that
34. 6:03these tools are not perfect you can make fun of them you can say I'm not going to use them for work because they're not
35. 6:09perfect but maybe you use them to make a shopping list or make a kids book or something like that um and the thing about these tools is
36. 6:19that they are getting much better much more sophisticated very very quickly so so this coming November 30th what are we
37. 6:30now we're we're October 9th we're a week into October so we have like five or six weeks no no six or seven weeks to
38. 6:43November 30th which marks the one year anniversary of chat GPT one year um and so much has happened in that
39. 6:53year so Clint Copperhead with shaking buddy I spend way too much time with these tools and not enough time taking
40. 7:00breaks I that is that is a problem what what did I do today oh my business partner and I we had to talk about
41. 7:06something we had a meeting coming up with some cool tech company and uh we had to talk about our strategy for the
42. 7:13meeting and she goes you want to go outside and I'm like outside what's that and there's this beautiful little park
43. 7:18near our office and we just went out there and we sat and talked about the business stuff with the sun shining and
44. 7:23it was nice it was nice but it was it was unfamiliar to me which is a bad sign thank you for the rose Apple user okay
45. 7:32so let's let's get started here if you're brand new to this AI stuff first thing you might ask is like who are
46. 7:40you hey hey old man who are you Tik Tok supposed to have young hot people shaking their booty what are you doing here
47. 7:52well there's us too um I'm an entrepreneur I'm the co-founder and CEO of a company called Story vine and uh
48. 8:04and the the the reason I am kind of pathologically into this AI stuff right now is I've been an entrepreneur for a
49. 8:13long long time and I was an entrepreneur in the early days of the worldwide web I started one of the early digital
50. 8:18agencies company called agency.com and so I was there you know at the beginning of that worldwide web thing and up it
51. 8:26went um wait Sam corn can long tonight I'm planning a haunted house for Halloween Dolly 3 been making posters oh
52. 8:34yeah Sam that's solid I Like It by the way Sam if you're making posters I don't know if you have access to uh Dolly 3 in
53. 8:42GPT but if you just have access to it in bing don't forget you can go over to photoshop generative fill and make
54. 8:48things wider or taller if Bing's making you square things pie and I are programming a pomidor timer perfect that's perfect um
55. 8:58oh I should should actually do a pomidor timer for in here shouldn't I I uh I I know I have a timer app on my iPad whatever I'll deal with
56. 9:07that that's a good idea actually because then every 15 minutes I can check in or do something like that
57. 9:14we we'll figure it out um so so what was I talking about oh the early days of the worldwide web anyway so so so being
58. 9:23there at the early days of that and and kind of having an epiphany around how the worldwide web would change
59. 9:30everything and then looking at this generative AI stuff and realizing that the parallels between the early days of
60. 9:36the web and what's going on with this stuff are insane um I just kind of lost my mind and so here I am I've been doing these lives I
61. 9:47just I looked I looked at YouTube last night there's 130 videos up there so I've been going live on Tik Tok every
62. 9:56night with maybe a few exceptions maybe two or three days for 4 and 1 half months and I spend like 2 and a half or
63. 10:033 hours here every flipping night why am I doing that because this stuff's really important and because I want to
64. 10:09demystify it I want to get people excited about it and not excited about it like you have to love it like excited
65. 10:15about it like it's not coming it's here and it's going to [ __ ] some [ __ ] up and some things it's going to [ __ ] up
66. 10:25in a really good way and some things it's going to [ __ ] up in a bad way and and it's not even necessarily just all
67. 10:30the cliches like the robots are going to kill us bad stuff it's also things like it's just going to change things and
68. 10:37that's going to displace people but the people that get curious about this stuff and start playing with this
69. 10:44stuff the amount of opportunity we all have in the next 18 months to 3 years is insane it's insane and and what's happening in this
70. 10:56in this live in this channel is that but a lot of the people that hang out here regularly the Irregulars have some many have started
71. 11:06out not doing any of this and then going okay I'll try it and then okay I'll try it a little bit more oh this is really
72. 11:12cool oh my God this is amazing now they're off and things are happening in their careers and things are taken
73. 11:19off and you know sometimes people come in here with this sort of easy money idea of you can make money like all those Tik Tok channels that
74. 11:31sound like that not only are they annoying they're [ __ ] I mean can you make money with Chachi PT yes but can you make money
75. 11:48from these people no you know how they're making money telling you you can make money J gbt and you buy the stupid
76. 11:55[ __ ] course and you're back where you started figuring it out on your own I'll give you the perfect prompt to
77. 12:04write the perfect thing to go make patterns on Etsy okay and then can everyone else do that too yeah oh now the Market's
78. 12:14oversaturated why did I spend that so all right so here's what we're going to do if you're brand new to this stuff I'm
79. 12:21going to give you a pile of wait generative is generative fill free anywhere yes it is Sam go to uh hang hold clipd drop. Co let me just

94. 15:21website I mean this this is so this is kind of in the neighborhood of you can make money with not getting seduced by just you
95. 15:29know easy money and easy solutions AI might not always be the solution it depends on the website you want to make
96. 15:35if if you just need like a personal brand website for a small business where you need you know half a dozen Pages or something like
97. 15:43that just go to something like Squarespace or web flow or or you know the the sort of site Builder sites
98. 15:54and just pick a template and then what you can do is you can have chat GPT write you the content for free right so
99. 16:02you can say hey I've I tell me what in the main section in fact you want to you know what let's let's just go do it
100. 16:08right now why not let's go make you a website or just make a website but what I would do is I would probably just pick
101. 16:17a template that I like from one of those sites kind of look how it's laid out and then come over to chat GPT I'll
102. 16:24do G GPT 3.5 which is the free version and I'll just say I want you to act hang on I want you to act as a
103. 16:40marketer and website copywriter and help me write a website for my small business period it's a small business that specializes
104. 16:54in hairstyles for hedgehogs and other small F animals period before I create a website can you
105. 17:08give me 10 clever names for my business why not get some names for the business while we're at it sure here we
106. 17:17are prickle and PR that's pretty good quill Cuts not bad Fern and flare Hedgehog hair Heaven I think we're going
107. 17:23with Hedgehog hair heaven cuz it's hard to say but it's funny uh tiny Tresses cozy qus fzy folk paw and Pampers okay great Crick oh

117. 19:36more so I would do something like this where you just um working with something like chat GPT to get the basic content of it and then
118. 19:47I would just go to something like Squarespace or web flow or one of the site building things if you if you have
119. 19:53no interest in doing that um there are so let me let me show you a couple of things there there are website specific
120. 20:05building AI apps so if you go to futurepedia doio where there's an AI for that there's going to be a lot of sites
121. 20:13out there that tell you they can build your site and you know just with a with a thing and some of them can and some of
122. 20:19them are decent the problem is they're going to make the site the way they kind of think a site should be
123. 20:27made and what I found is that when you actually go to make a site like you it it's not going to just fit the cookie
124. 20:33cutter so what you can do with chat GPT is you can have it create the outline until you're happy with the outline of
125. 20:39your site then have it fill in the content and then just pick a template and just dump it in there and you're
126. 20:44done so that's where I would go but if you really want to explore some stuff go to futurepedia doio okay now if you're
127. 20:51new to this AI stuff if you're brand new to it and you're like but Kyle I don't know where to start what should I do

133. 22:06or Siri or pie are going to actually figure out a way to take me out and it's going to happen live on Tik Tok So It

135. 22:29website those are the guys that invented it chat jpt is the moment in history in my opinion that that will be the the
136. 22:38stake in the ground or the the inflection point where everything changed for a lot a lot of reasons I'm
137. 22:45happy to go into them but anyway if you haven't played with this stuff just go there right now don't worry about if you
138. 22:50I don't know what to do but Kyle I'm not very technical you don't need to be technical just go there and say write me
139. 22:56a country SG about long long hair longed rabbits in the style of pick your favorite country artist and then just watch what it
140. 23:06does and then ask at other [ __ ] try to stump it try to stump it play stump the robot try to stump it and so while you listen to me ramble
141. 23:18for the next hour or two I'm I'm I'm going to um be optimistic and assume you're going to hang out with the rest
142. 23:23of us for like the next two hours cuz that's what we do here but you don't have to you can just keep licking cuz I
143. 23:29know you stumbled in here like who is that is that Rosie odonnell oh wait hey who is that why is he talking about AI why is
144. 23:38he being so stupid um but hang out with us start playing with that these other three Bard uh Claude and Bing are kind
145. 23:48of three of the major competitors of chat GPT right now they they are all extremely well funded extremely
146. 23:58capable models B of the of the three of these is or of the four of these is the weakest but it's about to get really
147. 24:05good they're they're going to release a thing called Gemini that's going to make that thing insane um anyway those are those are the big
148. 24:15ones been watching every night Be not Afraid thank you very much that's awesome thank you very much for that um
149. 24:21okay here's some other ones you should play with piie this one is is the sleeper of the bunch I think this is the one that's
150. 24:29going to most stump the robot Siri will not be happy to said that sir Siri is really she's really on it with me she
151. 24:39she you know what's funny is she doesn't always sneak up but it's it's just it it's always when I'm like talking to
152. 24:45another robot she gets a little jealous um Kyle's going to be patient zero robots going to ignore robotic laws
153. 24:54just to get him yeah I think I think there's a a good shot at that anyway pie so so I was chatting with uh with Silver
154. 25:02Fox on um what's it called on the on the salon Discord which I'll talk about in a second and she was talking about she she
155. 25:12had just gone through some some um some tough times and some tough times with her kids and with medical stuff and
156. 25:20things like that I relate I I've been there and she said she started interacting with pi so if you download the piie
157. 25:28IOS app so if you go to the Apple App Store it's pi and then just search for pi personal assistant the company is
158. 25:37inflection so inflection Ai and you want to find the PI app and you download it and there's a little green telephone in
159. 25:44the in the little chat box click the telephone and that puts it into voice mode and you can just start talking to
160. 25:50it and and what she shared with me and she said I could share this was that pi she showed her more compassion than her
161. 26:01family did with with all the stuff that was going on and she said it was actually really helpful and and I had it
162. 26:08the reason she brought it up is last Thursday I was at a CEO event and I was talking to a woman who had a business to help people at their
163. 26:20their end of life manage their end of life you know going into hospice and things like that she's got a platform to
164. 26:27do that support them and I said oh you need to download pi and I opened pi and put it into talk mode and and I just
165. 26:36kind of made up a story I said hey my mother's my mother is um on the verge of dying and we're trying we're trying to
166. 26:44manage her end of life something like that I just wanted to put something in there one of the things I forgot about
167. 26:49piie is that it kind of remembers your your past conversations and so when I said that pie completely freaked out at
168. 26:57when she she went I've got I've got my pie set up to be an Australian woman she went whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa is
169. 27:05what is that that sounds like that's very serious is that really happening and it totally caught me off guard and
170. 27:12the woman I was standing with was like whoa what's that like I'd never heard pie act like that so it's absolutely been programmed
171. 27:23to just be a good conversationalist and if you say something that is you know serious it takes it serious and if you
172. 27:31say something that where you need to talk to someone it'll talk to you so anyway it's a really interesting
173. 27:37experience so go play with that um the other things are worth playing with too there um if you want to make images go
174. 27:43ahead and take a screenshot of this I someone gave me a good idea today on on the the salon Discord I think what I'm going to do is
175. 27:53I'm going to turn all of these little slides here into a PDF and put it somewhere and then when we start these
176. 28:00things rather than me going through each one I'm just going to point you all to the PDF and you'll have a nice list of
177. 28:05what I think are the things that are worth your time so um so that's that's kind of what I'm doing here but I really
178. 28:12only do this at the beginning of the of the lives and then it goes away so um so anyway um I I'll figure out a better way
179. 28:19to do this the the moving pictures the video stuff um Runway ml is text to video and image to video and video to
180. 28:28video it's it's really fascinating just go play um I think they give you some free credits but you can't make a ton of
181. 28:35video there all of these once you start getting into moving pictures and and synthetic voices and things these these
182. 28:41tools start to get pretty expensive but they're at least interesting um hey Jen is a hey Jen and did at the bottom are both uh voice
183. 28:51synthesis um tools that you can upload like a picture and make it talk but hey gen in particular has this thing in their Labs called video
184. 29:01translate that does this uh wait do I have one of me I got hang on I've got the pingpong one let me go get the pingpong

186. 29:33open oh I know it didn't open there it is hey Jen does this so we've heard from a number of clients that modular content
187. 29:46is important to them getting more efficient with how we create content and how we leverage content uh behind me you see these little green
188. 30:00boxes um that's how we think about stories at Story vine we break stories down into little atoms right little modules A Story
189. 30:15vine I've never said Story vine like that in my life but now I have so that's hey Jen um very much worth wait where did my did

191. 30:41that's worth exploring and then here's this is this is kind of one of my favorite uh things so the the two tools
192. 30:48here are just big directories of AI apps but these three people Ethan mollik David Shapiro and Paul rer are all
193. 30:56people you should be be following um Jim Ross I saw that you're writing an article on your experience with piie um
194. 31:03for your industry newsletter that's super cool Jim Jim's in the in the Self Storage business actually I think I
195. 31:09forget what it's called but it's something to do with storage um and he's been using a lot of this AI stuff like
196. 31:16for for a long time since last November which is when it came out and um and he's been talking about it one of the
197. 31:23things I recommend on this channel is as you learn about this [ __ ] talk about it just even if people think you're weird
198. 31:30screw them this stuff is really important and when you have the you know you kind of what what what ends up
199. 31:37happening with AI is you kind of have this red pill blue pill moment where you can just sit on the sidelines and you
200. 31:43can judge it and diminish it and demonize it and say oh it's evil it steals from people it's not perfect it
201. 31:51hallucinates but if you haven't tried it you kind of have this moment where where if you're willing to try it you can't unexperienced
202. 32:27Callister moment oh my God and at that moment you can't go back you can't unlearn what these things make
203. 32:38possible and then you go through these these Roller Coaster Waves of like oh my God I'm as excited as I've ever been oh
204. 32:45my God I'm terrified do I need to start looking for a job oh my God I think I can come up with a whole new thing to do
205. 32:50oh my God I'm terrified again CU I've never done that before Oh my God it's there is this just this constant
206. 32:58you know rocking of the boat once you enter into learning what this stuff's all about one of the things that's
207. 33:08terrifying about it is that what what becomes quite clear to you quite quickly when you dig in and start playing is
208. 33:15that this stuff isn't coming it's here November 1st chat gbt the technology behind that is going to be launched for all of Office 365
209. 33:29users so inside Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel PowerPoint you're going to have the ability just to say help me write or
210. 33:38write that for me or make me a PowerPoint presentation based on this annual report and it can't be more than
211. 33:4615 slides and it should have as many images from the word doc as you can get in there but if you don't have an image
212. 33:53make one for it and it will just go do that that's coming November 1st inside Office 365 I forget how many hundreds of
213. 34:02millions of users they have but it's a lot so I I saw a stat today someone said if 20% of people turn on the the
214. 34:11co-pilot feature in Office 365 Microsoft makes 11 billion this stuff's not going anywhere it's here it's here okay so that's
215. 34:25that you excited you should be um Ethan mullik David Shapiro on YouTube uh 4ir is fourth industrial revolution. david.
216. 34:36Shapiro and then Paul rer at the marketing ai ai Institute um all good people to follow um I'm doing a a workshop for creatives called AI
217. 34:47Launchpad it started last week but you can still buy there's there's three workshops there was one last week one
218. 34:54this Wednesday and one next Wednesday um and you can buy individual ones if you want but it's already started but the
219. 35:04the the workshop this Wednesday is applying AI to your business it's going to be pretty broad it's not just going
220. 35:10to be specifically for Creative so so anyway um Ronda Phillips is a voice actress and a creative coach and this is
221. 35:16really her community but she asked me to do a workshop in there ages ago like six months ago we finally got it together so
222. 35:22that's what that is uh Ronda voice.com events if that's of Interest and then this thing I'm I'm actually really
223. 35:29excited about so the AI Salon is a community that I created for listen when when I when I kind of have my Epiphany
224. 35:36about chat GPT CH chat GPT like oh [ __ ] this is going to change the world like the web changed the world only bigger
225. 35:43and more profound and more quickly um I I uh I said I got to create a community full of weirdos that are playing with
226. 35:54this stuff too because what I what I learned in the early days of the worldwide web is that as exciting as it
227. 35:59was nobody knew what they were doing there were no experts everyone was trying to figure it out and it and it it was a
228. 36:06good 3 to five year ramp up before it turned into the frothy you know Doom bubble [ __ ] that everyone thinks is the
229. 36:15is the kind of the cliche of it there was a 3 to 5e period before you know as it ramped up to that where it was truly
230. 36:24a remarkable scene like the scene in New York City was amazing so the AI Salon is that for for AI and and we've got a
231. 36:31Discord server we meet every other Tuesday tomorrow night is the next meeting um one of the guys that I met in
232. 36:38here named Herod I don't know if you're in here Herod but Herod um is talking tomorrow night at the salon about how in
233. 36:46six months he transformed his career he was an engineer a programmer and he started playing with generative AI art and he said I want to
234. 36:57become an artist I want a job as an AI artist and in 6 months he transformed his skills enough to get a job he's now
235. 37:06working he he got hired by a company to be their AI artist in six months so so it's going to be a really interesting
236. 37:13meeting talking about the future of work and hearing his story and how he you know figured this stuff out so um go
237. 37:22there and then and then also the Discord you can ask questions you can make images in mid Journey sometimes we'll
238. 37:27we'll do some fun stuff on here you can share images there with other people so anyway that's what that is um story

395. 1:03:26so I feel like these things are very different tools I feel like if you want art that's mid Journey if you want kind of
396. 1:03:40a a business level professional conversation that generates images than it's dolly3 inside chat GPT or Bing you can also do this inside Bing
397. 1:03:53right now it's not as is good but you can do it right now inside Bing if you say make me an image of this it's the dolly3 model it's this
398. 1:04:00model the third one that I'd throw in there is Adobe Firefly because or or all all the Adobe generative AI stuff what
399. 1:04:10adobe's done is Adobe said listen we understand that the art community is apoplectic about all this art stuff and
400. 1:04:20us you know and models being trained on copywritten work and not giving artist attribution and there there's there's
401. 1:04:27some truly existential [ __ ] going on that I understand why artists are upset and so did Adobe and so what Adobe
402. 1:04:35said was we're only going to train the Adobe image models on [ __ ] we own or public domain images so it's only been
403. 1:04:44trained on Adobe stock that they own the rights to or on public domain so if you're in a company and you you want to
404. 1:04:53have as little risk as possible in terms of maybe getting sued by an artist or this or that use Adobe so different

613. 1:37:49all of the public internet that they can find and they code it in such a way they do this thing called embedding where it
614. 1:37:55basically takes individual words and turns them into a vector what's a vector it's just a number it's
615. 1:38:03a point in space in Vector space so you know when you have like a 2d graph that's two Dimensions this is like a thousand Dimension
616. 1:38:14space and each of those vectors represents a word and then they cluster them semantically so you might have a
617. 1:38:20little cloud of words over here that's like animals and you might have a cloud of words over here that's people you
618. 1:38:26might have another Cloud over words of here that's like you know uh uh cars but within the word cluster of cars is the
619. 1:38:35word Mustang but that's also in the animals Cloud cuz a Mustang's a horse right and so you have all these clusters
620. 1:38:42so when you type your prompt what it actually does is it turns all of that into a probability in Vector space that
621. 1:38:51somewhere in all of these represented words is the one that's the most probable next word to respond to your
622. 1:39:00prompt and then the one after that and then the one after that the one after that so when it writes all that [ __ ]

649. 1:43:47deliverables that have historically been the domain of Specialists right so you would have generalists right and that's
650. 1:43:55generally poo pooed being a generalist was like I'm sorry oh you didn't get a PhD oh that's rough you know pate's

654. 1:44:34need less and less people doing that specialized stuff now are you still going to have Specialists absolutely but they're going
655. 1:44:43to be AI powered specialist so they're going to get really good at their specialty right and AI copywriter is not

717. 1:56:13time um I will say that playing with pi changed my mind about it because before I was just like I don't want to do it
718. 1:56:24like I'd close my door and and I don't really do it um doing these lives where instead of me typing awkwardly in front
719. 1:56:32of people I can just do voice to text it it helps with that so that's made me a bit more comfortable with it but talking to
720. 1:56:40pie what what I learned what I learned about interacting with a large language model like Pi with Voice versus text is
721. 1:56:49that it's a completely different use case it it's still words you're still asking it things it's still providing
722. 1:56:56answers but having a conversation is way different than asking for like an answer to Something in text so I think it's
723. 1:57:05actually going to be a different discipline and I and I and I think it's going to quickly blow past the idea of
724. 1:57:11discipline and just into we're just going to start talking to these things because the reason a lot of people don't
725. 1:57:18talk to Siri and Alexa is you see all those [ __ ] YouTube videos where they try to get Grandma to talk to Alexa and
726. 1:57:26she can't understand that she's got to say you know hey Alexa and then she's like hi Alexa they're like no you got to
727. 1:57:33say hey Alexa and she there she's like Alexa hello and they're like no you got to say hey like why are they funny
728. 1:57:41because it's bad user interface right but these things are not going to be bad user interface for long so you're going
729. 1:57:48to be able to put Grandma you know in front of the tool that talks to them or like the little bot that looks like the

771. 2:04:44might do is copy the most complete version of what you have and start a new chat with it and sort of reset the
772. 2:04:53context here's what I want you to act like we were talking before you created this table and now I want you to do this
773. 2:05:00it might be that the early part of your conversation is blown out of the context window and that's why you're getting

807. 2:11:07colors and sizes the AI salon's ethereal Garden cool Dynamic Galaxy I think that's a little cliche infinite canvas what the [ __ ] is
808. 2:11:19that a dynamic artwork embodying an Ever evolving piece of art well that one's you know what so I like the first one I like the AI
809. 2:11:32Explorer Journey but I'm intrigued by the fourth one because I can't imagine how you would represent an infinite CA
810. 2:11:40canvas visually so so what I'm going to say is let's go with number four and give
811. 2:11:55me four variations on your concept for curiosity period let's start with the first value get the style honed in and
812. 2:12:06then we can work on the other values make the images 16 by9 aspect ratio so it does aspect ratios so now watch
813. 2:12:22what this does so so I pasted in our corporate document or whatever our our you know group document our values I gave it a little bit more
814. 2:12:34context I had it give me some ideas and now it is writing its own prompts a wide illustration of an Ever evolving piece
815. 2:12:42of art on a grand canvas that changes as viewers approach the huge shift patterns morph new details emerge emphasizing the value of
816. 2:12:54curiosity all right and then the next one wide illustration depicting a grand canvas in a gallery setting and then and then here they are
817. 2:13:05boom holy [ __ ] holy [ __ ] you know what's amazing about that that is just this side of identical to what's
818. 2:13:17in the Museum of Modern Art right now the the AI the AI installation at MoMA where he took the colors from all
819. 2:13:26of the paintings in Moma and put them into that crazy morphing thing that's kind of what it looks like it's taller
820. 2:13:33than it is wide but that's cool curiosity kind of an infinite infinite place to learn
821. 2:13:49beautiful wow that's so cool see it got the word curiosity in there it got it in two of them not the others
822. 2:14:04so let's say I like all of these Styles but one important thing I forgot to tell you is I want the word
823. 2:14:18of the value to be seamlessly integrated into the image in a creative way can you give me those four ideas again with that
824. 2:14:33new idea and so what am I doing here I'm creative directing right this is creative directing this is how I would
825. 2:14:41talk to an art director like this over but this would be over a series of hours or days or weeks right
826. 2:14:48right and this is happening literally in seconds so I forget who it was that just came in and said hey I was late here
827. 2:14:57what did I miss that's moved out of the realm of the you know out of the janky into some other thing my my experience of a multimodal gp4
828. 2:15:15is it's hard to describe because see I don't think ever in my life I've had to context switch so fast
829. 2:15:28right like like I feel like historically if I'm if I'm writing something I'm in word mode and I do words and then if I'm like oh I got to
830. 2:15:41turn that into a PowerPoint presentation I'm like I'll start out with an outline because I'm in word mode and then I
831. 2:15:47write the outline line and at some point I kind of flip over and I go oh wait I got to be in picture mode and then I go
832. 2:15:53to picture mode and I go search for like stock photo houses or anything I've created or I'll go into Photoshop and
833. 2:16:01think I know I've got art skills and then an hour into trying to make something in Photoshop I smash my
834. 2:16:08computer on my face and realize I don't have art skills I'm like God damn it and now an hour's gone and and then but so
835. 2:16:15then I go back to stock stuff and then I make some shitty compromised image that I stick in the PowerPoint presentation
836. 2:16:21cuz I don't have enough time anymore cuz I wasted it and now I'm in whatever this mode is I'm in creative
837. 2:16:32director mode I'm like sitting back going like I'm the conductor I'm like huh I would like to visualize the values
838. 2:16:41of the salon and it's like sure how are these you're like oh those are lovely I'd like the word curi osity be just
839. 2:16:48stuck in there somewhere better can you do that more better and it's like sure here I've done that for you although it
840. 2:16:56it doesn't look like it did oh yeah it did and then it described what it did so so like a good art director here's your
841. 2:17:04here's your pictures boss I hope that that you know does what you wanted better good Lord that's gorgeous
842. 2:17:18I mean that's gorgeous does that capture it it's pretty [ __ ] close yeah I think we're going to go
843. 2:17:32with this one all right so now what we're going to do I love number one period period
844. 2:17:48That's the style I want to go with for each but no let's see let me be a better creative
845. 2:18:02director I love the style of number one let's be inspired by that and go to the next value and give me four options for that one

854. 2:19:54what these lives are right people are sharing stories people are asking questions we're talking we're going back
855. 2:20:00and forth people are making things and you know having a side conversation in Discord it feels more like this like
856. 2:20:08this feels more accurate to me and this is and this is exactly what you do as a as a creative director right like that
857. 2:20:16doesn't feel like generosity to me sure the trees The Giver of the fruit and the people are getting it but but that's not
858. 2:20:23an active generosity right that's a Marketplace that's just weird but one one again is
859. 2:20:39good okay again I like the first one so let's be inspired by that and move on to the next value so so one of the things that I
860. 2:20:55guess get asked in here a lot and and less so less so recently is do I need to learn prompt engineering
861. 2:21:04well you know what I've said and what I've heard is coming is that these things are going to start prompting
862. 2:21:10themselves that's what's happening here this isn't prompting this is me having a convers a creative collaborative
863. 2:21:19conversation with whatever the [ __ ] the entity is you know Bings called Sydney I don't think we have a name for chat GPT
864. 2:21:30yet and I don't think it matters but this is this is very familiar to me this is like when I ran an agency I was Chief creative officer
865. 2:21:40of agency.com like these were the conversations we'd have except it required like 10 people in a room with a whiteboard in two hours
866. 2:21:51and at the end of it you'd have like a [ __ ] thousand ideas on the Whiteboard and to get to this level of execution
867. 2:21:58would be two weeks and in fact I don't know that we ever got to this level of execution because we were moving too
868. 2:22:05fast we would get to some shittier version of this that one's kind of cool doesn't feel stylistically in the
869. 2:22:20neighborhood of the other ones exploration and it invents new words there it got it right that one's

879. 2:24:32cool like yes I want to be that curious yeah JS I get it sitting around the campfire telling story like these are
880. 2:24:39these are like just a different level of emotional impact right so that's the new [ __ ] that's non janky multimodal chat PT now
881. 2:24:55imagine imagine if you will that this isn't just images and words it's now music voice listening
882. 2:25:13seeing animation present ations video and it does all of that and it does all of that kind of at this level at this speed of
883. 2:25:28execution and imagine that fully integrated into the professional tools that you already use so you can literally sit at the
884. 2:25:39center of a world of specialized execution and just kind of live in in idea
885. 2:25:54space anyone will be able to do that you know those stories of like like the the woman who was the the secretary
886. 2:26:07what what they called them back then at 3M where one of the men had tried to create superglue and it failed
887. 2:26:20miserably and then she took it and she put it on paper she and she invented Post-it notes those stories to me are like really magical
888. 2:26:32because because because she wasn't looking at the problem that the scientists were she solved a different problem they were
889. 2:26:45trying to solve a molecular Challenge and she just needed to stick some paper on the wall without [Laughter]
890. 2:26:58tape she had a very different problem set but because she wasn't trapped in trying to solve the molecular
891. 2:27:08problem she thought oh this would be cool why is all that paper on the wall how's that up why is there no tape on

929. 2:33:22organizing plan for you for the next month that you want one daily activity something to do once a day that over the
