5:06 images I'm I'm not a good illustrator

5:20 um it like it really is this magical
5:22 thing where you can take
5:25 if you're visual in any way like if you
5:27 appreciate images if you appreciate
5:30 Aesthetics in any way
5:33 um you start using mid-journey and it
5:36 really is just this magical [ __ ]
5:38 thing where it's just like you know you
5:40 can you can execute at a level higher
5:43 than
5:44 then you can and it's it's just amazing
5:49 um I thought maybe you were inspired to
5:50 write a script tonight actually I you
5:53 you know it's probably not a bad idea

6:45 channel but when it comes to like the AI
6:47 stuff like I try to I try to like figure
6:50 it out and teach stuff and and do it in
6:52 a fun way but
6:55 there was just something so surreal that
6:57 just happened then

7:28 with a conversation with pi where I
7:30 couldn't get it to shut up
7:31 which was kind of funny
7:33 but it wasn't really funny and then
7:36 and then I went to Poe and I said oh you
7:39 can use multiple models it's got gpd4
7:41 and I was like oh let me see if it can
7:43 make images because I know
7:46 um bin Ken and I I wondered if if Poe
7:49 had programmed their gpt4 so it could
7:51 make images and so I went to Bing and I
7:55 well Poe couldn't do it I went to Bing
7:57 and I said make me this image and then
7:59 Siri piped up and said here I found you
8:01 a bunch of images on the web and I'm
8:03 like no Siri no I want to generate an
8:06 image I'm like you know like Siri got
8:09 jealous that I was talking to Bing
8:11 and then and then Bing made the images
8:15 and they were shitty and I said oh these
8:17 images are shitty but I had voice
8:19 recognition turned on for Bing and Bing
8:21 goes oh I'm sorry if I disappointed you
8:24 and I'm not a robot I'm a I'm a chat
8:27 model of Microsoft and you know and I
8:30 hope you have a good day goodbye and
8:33 hung up on me it was just [ __ ]

8:43 was just this surreal moment of robot
8:45 neuroses where I'm like I have enough

14:51 uh that's but that's too much like work
14:53 see this is why I need a producer I got
14:55 plenty of ideas but I need to I need
14:57 someone to help me get my [ __ ] together
14:58 but post secret yeah yeah exactly you
15:02 could do like a post-secret kind of site
15:04 where whenever the whatever the bot does
15:06 something you know disturbing or funny
15:09 or you know off the wall you pop it in
15:12 there and then I have to go to work in

25:29 speed of the movement and the amount of
25:31 movement so so they've added in some
25:33 things so I'm gonna I'm gonna put pan to
25:35 the right since there's a ship heading
25:36 in this direction
25:38 and let's see what it does so basically
25:39 this is just this is all you do you
25:42 basically upload an image and maybe add
25:45 some parameters but basically just see
25:47 what it does
25:49 so it says it'll be done in a few
25:51 minutes

26:27 running across a field and that it will
26:29 do video to video

28:18 they've also given you a little bit of
28:20 camera controls now and they've also
28:22 given you

28:25 the ability so so it initially renders a
28:28 four second long video and then you can
28:31 just extend it four times it they it
28:34 generates an 18 second clip at its Max
28:39 yeah that's pretty good
28:45 so that's not bad and then help us
28:48 improve the result I'd give that a three
28:49 star out of five
28:51 um render quality
28:54 that's pretty much it
28:57 um and see this has got extend for four
28:59 seconds so
29:03 let me extend this one for four seconds
29:05 so we now should have an eight second
29:08 video of like that time lapse of the
29:10 clouds blowing over the city
29:13 what's what's weird is it starts you
29:15 know you start with whatever your image
29:17 is and then the minute it starts
29:19 animating it like the details of the
29:21 original image kind of get
29:23 blown out
29:25 um what is it this site is called
29:27 runwayml it's it's a video generative AI
29:32 tool
29:38 and then what I'm doing right now is I'm
29:40 taking
29:41 a video that didn't suck too bad and I'm
29:44 extending it from four seconds to eight
29:46 seconds and you can do that up to 18
29:47 seconds
29:49 how can we improve Gen 2 fill out a
29:51 survey that would require work I don't
29:54 like to work
29:55 although that's not true
29:57 what is its competitor

30:03 there's there's a handful of them out
30:05 there if you go to
30:07 um go to futurepedia.io and go to their
30:10 video section
30:12 there are a number of text to video
30:14 tools I think one I think one of them is
30:17 called descript
30:18 I think they have text to video that's a
30:21 bunch of video AI tools at the script
30:25 um but there's probably a lot of them I
30:27 don't know about Runway is the one that
30:31 I I would say that runway's closest
30:35 um
30:36 sort of
30:38 um
30:41 the equivalent in the image space is
30:44 mid-journey right if you if you want
30:46 high quality stuff runwayml is the one
30:49 that that you know people are looking at
30:51 right now that's kind of the state of
30:52 the art but I know there's a lot of
30:54 tools out there there's also some open
30:56 source tools
30:58 so now this is an eight second long clip
31:01 oh that's cool and it actually
31:04 it slowed down the time lapse for the
31:06 second half of the thing that's pretty
31:08 interesting
31:10 huh
31:11 that's cool
31:24 you know and somewhere in there you know
31:26 somewhere in there is something that you
31:28 know if you're making a film and you
31:29 just needed to pop some stuff out you
31:31 could do it
31:33 so that's that and then there's you know
31:35 there's other kinds of video like like
31:37 if you want if you want to do
31:39 synthesized voice that that brings text
31:41 to life where you can take you know a
31:44 photo of a person or something out of
31:46 mid journey and animate that there are
31:48 other tools for that but this is the
31:49 this is the one that when it comes to
31:51 just generating uh generating video is
31:54 is the one
31:56 that I would look at
31:58 what's my phone did no all right

32:26 I've been meaning to ask what would be
32:28 some good certifications for AI to
32:31 obtain a new job

32:39 about generative AI if you're talking
32:40 about Chachi BT and like these image
32:44 tools and all this sort of stuff
32:47 there's no certificates right now that
32:49 that are necessarily worth their salt
32:51 because it's all too new

32:56 um Rachel Woods Woods
32:59 I think it's Rachel Woods uh the AI
33:02 exchange she's got an AI Ops class which
33:06 is basically talking about basically how
33:08 to be someone in a company who has a
33:10 clue about Ai and and like what the
33:13 tools are and how to use them and things
33:14 like that
33:15 that's probably the closest thing I know
33:17 to something I would trust but but quite
33:19 frankly right now all this stuff is so
33:21 new
33:22 um I don't know that there's a that
33:25 there's a certification now if you want
33:28 to work on the on the engineering side
33:31 of machine learning there's all sorts of
33:33 classes right there's stuff from
33:36 Stanford and MIT and Harvard and you
33:38 know there's tons of stuff out there
33:41 um
33:42 you know some you pay for some are free
33:44 all that sort of stuff but if you're
33:46 talking about
33:48 using AI in business and getting a job
33:50 using these generative AI tools that's
33:52 all really new stuff
33:54 the thing that I that I recommend on
33:57 this channel a lot for the people that
