Live, live lives,
0:18
you're looking. Every fell got you in his eyesight. But you do it with a clown like me.
0:38
You're not one of life's little mystery. So tonight I ask about
0:55
your love. What did I do? What did I say to turn your rain my way?
1:15
Happy Friday night. Evening, good people. Dr. Jay's in the house. I think it's just you and me, Dr. Jay.
1:23
I got one on Tik Tok and none on none on YouTube. Happy Friday night. Lord Digital Gods is here. Get this party started.
2:01
Um, welcome to the AI Learning Lab pre-show, everybody. We're going live at 7:30 for Friday night date night. It's
2:08
an ask me anything, so you can ask me anything. Uh, we can talk about the government uh now uh controlling our portions.
2:18
You can't just eat everything you want anymore. Uh, we're going to talk about that. We're going to talk about digital selves.
2:29
We're going to talk about whatever you guys want to talk about because it's ask me anything. So, yeha.
2:34
Um, threes party. Uh, so here's what to do. If you're on LinkedIn or YouTube, in the description of this video, there's
2:41
the hyperlink over to the AI salon. We're going live in the AI salon at 7:30, so 20 minutes or so. If you're on
2:48
uh Tik Tok or X, it's in my profile. So, just go to my profile and the link is in there to the uh to the AI Salon live
2:56
stream and that's where we'll be in 20 minutes, 18 minutes or so.
3:17
F ah fascinating thing about today. I had a very similar feeling today that I had way back in 2022
3:34
when ChatGpt had come out and I heard it was good at coding and
3:48
I was afraid to use it because I was afraid that I would figure out that I I couldn't do it. And I've got a similar kind of vibe
3:59
going on right now where it's like the government's going to do what they're going to do, but we still have access to these really
4:11
powerful tools. And if we do it right, we can do some really remarkable stuff together, like as a community.
4:21
and I and I have this similar kind of excitement and anxiety that I'm not going to be able to do it right and I don't know what it is yet.
4:30
But all of a sudden today it felt like that's possible, something big, something good. Um, and it's going to take more than
4:40
just one of us. It's actually going to take a community to be able to pull off what popped in my head today.
4:49
So, we'll talk a little bit about that. I'm also excited that the uh the third Tuesday of the month, so the first
5:03
Tuesday of the month is AI Salon Presents and we used to do two meetings a month and now um for for one day a month
5:16
I am going to do a back to basics course for people that you're just getting started with AI. So, if you're
5:24
irregulars and come to these things regularly, you could join that, but you could join as a way to support people
5:31
that are just just getting their dipping their toes in the water with this AI stuff. Um, so really excited about that.
5:37
So, that's coming in July, third Tuesday in July. Good evening, good people. Beginner AI. Exactly. It's in the calendar. It's in
5:47
the salon. Uh, hey Andy, what's happening? Who else we got here? We got Silver Fox, KK1S, KK15. Um,
6:02
so 7:30 tonight, Friday night, date night, ask me anything. Think about your questions. What do you want to ask me?
6:09
What do you want to know about AI? What do you want to know about some tool? What do you want to know about um uh
6:15
reducing bully base into a fine gel? I don't know the answer to that, but we have chat GPT, so I'm willing to just
6:24
mansplain it. I'll chat GPT it live and then mansplain like I know what I'm talking about, right? Chat GPT. Mansplaining as a service.
6:37
Um, so if you want to join for the AI learning lab Friday night date night at 7:30, I'm just passing through, but
6:45
sending love. Thank you very much. Great to have you here. I appreciate that. Um, if you're on LinkedIn or YouTube, the
6:52
link is in the description. You don't have to type a URL. Just click on the link. Just get uh if you're in Tik Tok
7:00
or X, it's in the profile. In my profile is the link to the AI Salon live stream and we'll be going in just about 15
7:08
minutes or so. All right. Okay. You and I here all alone. Sunday morning here at home.
7:22
Skies blue and a coffee strong was true. Then I open my eyes to a dream realized in front of me
7:38
and I haven't got a clue what in the world is happening to me. Think I think I'm happy like first day of summer vacation.
7:50
Happy. Gotta get a little rest and relaxation. Happy like to choir on Sunday morning singing true digital gods. She teaches how to make an
8:07
AI flavored phone. Well, you know, it's funny. Right before this, the new season of The Bear is out. So, I watched like
8:13
the first four episodes of The Bear Tonight, and uh the first three episodes, they're really short. They're
8:19
only like 20 minutes long. The first three episodes were just full-on depressing. That show's got a way of
8:26
just like peeling open your emotions like a can opener. It's just like uh but but I think it was episode four
8:37
started to pick up a little bit.
9:06
Good news about chat GPT 5.6 six. If you happen to be a lucky whippers snapper that works of works for one of 100 hand selected companies,
9:19
you're allowed to use it. And if you don't, we can just go screw off. Okay. All right. Fantastic. I can't decide if I like the bear or
9:31
not. So, the bear. Okay. There's there there are shows in our lifetimes that I would argue are
9:46
shows that when you first see them, you're not supposed to get them. You're not supposed to immediately
9:54
grock the vibe. And I think The Bear is one of those. And in fact, one of the weird things about The Bear is that they
10:01
submit it to the Emmys as a comedy. And it there are times you laugh, but it's almost always uncomfortable
10:10
laughter for how just mentally ill everyone is. Um but uh Arrested Development was like that for me
10:25
which like the first four or five episodes I'm like what is this? There was no laugh track. People talked weird.
10:34
Um I thought Ozark had had that kind of thing to it. It and I think it's I think it's shows that have a truly unique point of view.
10:45
If if they do, it often is like I've never seen that before. I don't know how to feel about this. I feel like the bear is one of
10:56
those for sure. Um anyway, welcome. This is the AI Learning Lab pre-show. My name is Kyle Shannon. We're going to be going live
11:03
>> uh for Friday night date night for the AI Learning Lab in the AI Salon in 10 minutes. And you're But you're like,
11:10
"But Kyle, how do I get there? What is this AI salon?" It's remarkable. It's it's this community of of all these small
11:20
circles of trusted relationships that that overlap with each other like little ripples in a rainstorm
11:26
and uh everyone is trying to figure this AI stuff out. So there's curiosity and there's a sense of adventure and there's
11:33
skepticism and there's optimism and there's people that care about each other and there's a sense of we're going to figure
11:43
this thing out come hell or high water. And that's that's what the salon is about. It's about that really tight
11:50
trusted community. And if you're like, "Oh, well, how do I get in? How do I become tight and trusted?" You just show up.
11:56
It's a group of people that give a [ __ ] about other people and they happen to be curious about AI. And some of them
12:03
happen to be really [ __ ] good at AI. And so if you're just getting started, you can dip your toe in the water. And
12:10
if you're like, "Well, I'm I'm kind of a badass." I guarantee you, you will meet some people in the AI salon that you're like, "Oh [ __ ]
12:18
I'm just getting started." Um, so we're going live in 10 minutes over there. So, if you're on LinkedIn or YouTube, in the
12:26
description of this video is the link to the AI Salon where the live stream is. And then if you're on Tik Tocker X, it's
12:32
in my profile right there on X and wherever it is in or on in on in Tik Tok and wherever it is on uh on on the X on the X platform.
12:44
Mr. gives a [ __ ] He's declaring it here right now. Is this place I can rest my whole head?
13:01
Have my thoughts in sweet silence. It is this place where the feelings are dead.
13:16
No exposure to violence. This is a place I can slowly face. The only one I truly can know. These are tears from a long time ago.
13:35
Got these tears from a long time ago. I hate to cry. 30 years old. These are tears from a long time.
13:57
It's Champ Shannon on lead vocals back there. Oh darling, oh darling, you say unto me. Where have you been?
14:15
Well, I have been swimming seven sad seas. Four women have lost me their lifelines. I pulled them into the water,
14:32
but I didn't know from a long time ago. You know what this song is good for? really depressing people right before you start an
14:45
exciting Friday night date night. Anyway, uh so welcome to the AI Learning Lab pre-show. We are going live in six
14:54
minutes over in the AI salon. So link is down in the description or in my profile on the socials. Kyle, I got my first
15:02
agent responding to me. Any advice? I have many API issues. Yes, have have AI and your agent platform
15:12
help you say, "I've got AI issues." And just literally keep co copying and pasting, "I need a beer." Yeah. And get
15:20
a beer and then have your agent and chat GPT and Claude. Um, just keep figuring it out with you. Copy the errors that
15:30
you're getting, paste it into the into I used Claude and Claude kind of sucked. So maybe maybe chat GBT 5.5.
15:43
Um what we're talking about tonight, by the way, it is a uh an ask me anything. So think about any questions you might
15:50
have about what's going on in the world of AI. Um you can you can ask me um detailed information about the
15:58
government's plan for how they're going to roll out AI over the coming months. I definitely have an answer for that, but
16:07
I'm not going to say it here. You have to be over in the AI salon to hear the real answer, but I definitely have one.
16:16
It's very detailed answer. I know. I I have all the facts. They're in my head. I have a question. I have questions.
16:26
Claude gets confused. Claude gets very confused. Here's the thing about Claude and Chat GPT. If you're trying to get it
16:31
to help you fix things, it is unreasonably confident in its answers. And it takes you about the tenth answer
16:39
to realize, hey, wait a minute. You don't actually know what you're talking about. And then it's like, oo, you're
16:45
right to call me out on that. Who is the first? The hen or the egg? Exactly.
17:24
All right, it looks like we got some questions. coming in, which is good. All right, everybody. So, this is the AI
17:32
Learning Lab pre-show. In two minutes, we're going live in the AI Salon. So, where you're going to find that link is
17:38
in the description of this video. If you're on LinkedIn or YouTube, right? Just click on that link. That'll take
17:43
you to the AI salon. If you're on Tik Tok or X, you go to my profile. Same link there. You can also just go to community.thesalon.ai
17:53
and click on in there. So, I just see some new people coming in. So, in the description of this video, click on the
18:00
hyperlink over to the salon. We're going live in the salon in two minutes. Uh, if you're on Tik Tok or X, it's in my
18:08
profile, the the the link to the live stream. All right, cool. Or just go to community.thesalon.ai and toward the top you'll see AI
18:17
learning lab live. It'll have a red dot by it and just jump in there and join us. Join us over there. All right, peace
18:25
out. Uh, happy Friday night date night. It's an ask me anything night. So, come on over, bring your questions, and I will see you there.
