Description

In the latest episode of the AI Learning Lab, Kyle dives into the creative process of transforming screenplays into engaging visual narratives, exploring the intersection of technology and storytelling. With a focus on three distinct screenplays—*Salmon Flying East*, *Fight Game*, and *Virtue*—he navigates the complexities of character development, plot structure, and visual aesthetics, all while utilizing AI tools to enhance the filmmaking experience. The session highlights the importance of collaboration, as viewers are encouraged to participate in shaping the narrative through shared insights and creative input. As Kyle grapples with the challenges of AI-assisted storytelling, he invites the audience to join him on this experimental journey, emphasizing that the future of filmmaking is not just about technology but also about community and shared creativity. 2:39 was good champy that was solid that was
2:41 solid that was some solid solid solid
2:44 champ action dang everybody Welcome to
2:49 the AI learning lab we're open 24 hours
2:52 here woo um good to see everybody happy
2:57 Sunday night 108 people people in here
3:00 we're going to do something some
3:02 different stuff tonight I'm going to go
3:05 check
3:06 on okay so last
3:09 night last night there was an
3:12 ambush it was the best kind of Ambush
3:16 but the Irregulars the people that show
3:17 up here regularly ambushed me and sent
3:20 me gifts of popcorn and
3:23 booze uh Blanton's flavored popcorn ambo
3:28 and it was awesome and so I'm taking the
3:30 video of that uh that whole episode or
3:33 that whole what do they call these
3:36 episodes that that episode of the AI
3:38 learning lab series and I'm uploading it
3:41 right now so on the AI learning lab uh
3:44 YouTube channel they will they it will
3:46 be up there so if you want to see that
3:49 it'll it should be live it's it's got
3:51 eight minutes left to process so it'll
3:52 be up there you can leave here and go
3:55 watch that um and then and then tonight
3:59 what I want wanted to do what was I what
4:01 I want to
4:03 do um I'm going to talk a little bit
4:06 more about GPT for good how was the
4:08 coffee I've got it right here coffee is
4:09 really good
4:11 actually it's very nutty tastes very
4:14 nutty it's nutty tasty all the stuff's
4:17 really
4:20 good
4:22 um but we're going to start the uh we're
4:24 going to start the screenplay
4:27 project and you're like but what's
4:30 screenplay project screenplay project is
4:34 uh I'm going to take some old screen
4:36 plays of
4:37 mine and over the next couple of weeks
4:40 or so I'm going to see what I can do
4:42 with
4:43 them like up to and possibly including
4:46 making a
4:48 film I think that's a little too
4:50 ambitious but we're going to at least
4:52 start with like video teasers or
4:55 trailers um and so so so rather than in
5:00 this channel which this channel is
5:02 normally just chaos it's like what well
5:04 what the hell you want to talk about
5:05 let's just talk something I'll drink a
5:07 little whiskey and you tell me what you
5:09 want to talk about we'll go talk about
5:12 that that's normally what we do here and
5:15 people seem to enjoy that so so it's
5:19 going to be slightly different and
5:22 listen you tell me if you're digging it
5:25 or not cuz if it's boring as [ __ ] and
5:26 we're like Kyle we're just watching you
5:28 we're just trying to like watching an
5:30 old man trying to be a
5:33 uh like use his computer and it's not
5:37 interesting uh then we can do it
5:39 lunatick you want to participate so yeah
5:42 so I haven't even decided what I want to
5:43 do or how I want to do it yet so it
5:45 could be the kind of thing where lots of
5:48 people on here participate it could be
5:50 the kind of thing where
5:53 um we all do different things uh meaning
5:57 different screenplays Kyle morphing into
5:59 will FAL doing Harry Cary is what I'm
6:01 here for yeah Harry Cary
6:08 here I I I do I sometimes I I I do end
6:12 up in these characters between
6:14 characters which um depending on the the
6:17 mood of the night it goes more hairy car
6:20 or not
6:26 um oh man but if you're new here welcome
6:29 welcome welcome welc
6:31 welcome
6:33 um I'm trying to think where to begin
6:35 because I because I got a lot of stuff I
6:36 want to do the other thing I want to I
6:38 want to do a shout out I don't know if
6:39 Corey Sandler's here from Corey Sandler
6:41 Pottery um but I was I was flicking
6:43 through Ye Old Tik Tock today and I saw
6:47 that that Corey had gone live and when I
6:50 when I um flicked over there to see what
6:53 she was up to she was teaching people
6:55 how to make
6:56 gpts um she participated in the GPT for
7:00 good uh thing that we did last weekend
7:03 and uh and so she was just doing a
7:06 fullon here's how to make gpts on her
7:07 Channel which I thought was [ __ ]
7:09 awesome because she's normally making
7:11 pottery and so but she's made she made a
7:15 a a pottery making GPT and she made a
7:17 bunch of other gpts but now she's
7:19 teaching other people how to do that so
7:21 that is absolutely you know Square in
7:24 line with my mission for this channel is
7:26 to just get people engaged with this
7:29 stuff and play and whatever they're
7:30 inspired to do go do it so um super
7:34 cool could you talk about crew AI open
7:38 source not right now I don't know
7:39 anything about it crew AI have I heard
7:42 of
7:45 it that we're going to go look at in a
7:48 second crew
7:53 ai ai agent
7:56 teams oh this is a lang chain thing yeah
7:59 yeah
8:00 yeah um okay so uh I can't talk to that
8:03 specifically but uh a AI agents in
8:07 general are going to be a big part of
8:09 the conversation in 2024 um we're going
8:11 to start seeing a lot more of that and
8:13 and if you don't know what an AI agent
8:15 is basically right now most of AI is um
8:19 transactional you say I want you to do
8:22 this and the AI responds and then you
8:26 give it more instructions AI agents
8:29 you're just going to give them goals and
8:31 they're going to go do [ __ ] for you um
8:33 so we're going to we're going to start
8:34 to see a lot of that in
8:36 2024 um there was also a uh one of the
8:41 one of the Personnel robot companies
8:44 today um announced that they've got
8:48 their their humanoid robots are now um
8:52 generally AI trainable um which basic
8:56 basically like you can you can train it
8:58 to make a pot of coffee and so their
9:00 their demo video was this robot making a
9:03 pot of or a cup of coffee with a carig
9:06 coffee coffee machine it like flicked up
9:09 the little lid grabbed the pod put it in
9:12 there like jiggled it until it went in
9:14 closed it hit the start
9:16 button um so uh so the 2024's I'm
9:22 telling you man 2023 was the last normal
9:26 year someone someone someone did that
9:27 graphic for me here um where is it this
9:37 one 2023 the last normal year I I just I
9:42 think this is going to be right it's
9:43 going to be wild um so anyway anyway
9:48 good to see everybody welcome welcome
9:50 welcome um what's considered old on Tik
9:53 Tok these days I'm guessing 28 and up
9:56 I'm just consider me the poster child
9:59 for old on Tik Tok
10:01 um we do lowcost shoots in the Ozark
10:05 Hills of Branson very cool hang on what
10:08 are we participating in okay so my laugh
10:12 therapist I absolutely enjoy this oh man
10:17 okay um so so hang on before we get into
10:20 what we're participating in because
10:21 we're GNA we're going to kind of invent
10:23 it on the Fly I don't know what I'm
10:25 doing keep keeping in the theme of this
10:28 channel sir sir may I inquire what are
10:32 your
10:33 qualifications oh rather uh Charlie good
10:36 sir uh good day to you uh qualifications
10:38 yes yes yes um challenge uh good good
10:42 challenge now now I'm uh channeling uh
10:45 Hugh what's his name Hugh
10:47 Grant yeah ra rather rather CH yeah good
10:50 good day good day uh qualifications uh I
10:53 have none yes yes yes hopefully U uh uh
10:57 no qualifications is exactly what's
11:00 needed for the job here
11:02 tonight fantastic
11:05 fantastic all right none of us are
11:07 qualified for any of this Kyle I know
11:10 exactly exactly TK she gets it my pastor
11:14 this morning even talked about 2023
11:16 being the last normal year no [ __ ]
11:20 Source Camp that's
11:22 wild yeah I
11:25 just this
11:27 is It's GNA get it's gonna get [ __ ]
11:31 weird it's gonna get [ __ ] weird and
11:35 it's it it's funny like I there's a part
11:38 of me that's resisting doing so what I'm
11:40 going to do tonight is I'm going to
11:42 start um unearthing some of my old
11:47 screenplays and seeing what I can do to
11:49 bring them to life with generative AI
11:51 like up to an including making a feature
11:54 film like I don't know if I'll get that
11:56 far you know we've got the add thing
11:59 going so I can hyperfocus so if it if it
12:02 if it generates enough endorphins for me
12:04 we'll keep going um so so it might be an
12:07 abject failure
12:10 um but but I'm like I've got a hesitance
12:13 to it because it's like does it like is
12:15 this relevant like is just [ __ ] going to
12:18 come out that's going to make this feel
12:19 irrelevant but I my instinct is shit's
12:24 going to start happening in 2024 that
12:26 makes it increasingly easy to do really
12:29 good
12:31 work and and it doesn't matter what the
12:33 work is um and making a film is not
12:37 something you really just do on a Tik
12:39 Tok Channel if you got a screenplay
12:40 sitting around dude half of Miami Tik
12:43 Tok is convinced Giants came out of a
12:45 portal some teens opened up in a
12:58 mall it's possible there's there's all
13:01 the uh you know when they turned on the
13:03 large hron collider apparently they
13:06 split some new realities and that's why
13:09 none of our movies end the way they used
13:11 to end so I don't know it's possible
13:14 maybe maybe some portals opened up but
13:17 uh so 2024 exactly so 2024 about 2024
13:22 we're seven days in and uh it it is not
13:25 terribly weird so far so
13:30 what could possibly
13:32 happen what do we need for doomsday
13:35 there's only one thing you really need
13:36 for
13:38 doomsday it's pretty clear it's pretty
13:42 clear you got that you're good now as uh
13:47 as the Irregulars found out getting a
13:50 hold of one of those not so [ __ ] easy
13:53 was it I don't know how you did it I
13:55 don't actually don't want to know
13:56 because it like it it'll take the
13:58 mystery away
13:59 but however you did it you you have you
14:02 know a forever indebted uh tick
14:05 [Laughter]
14:08 tocker all right all right I hear Fruit
14:12 of the Loom has portal
14:14 technology that's I think that's what
14:16 2024 is going to be wait who's an AI
14:19 company
14:20 now um all right you all are awesome by
14:24 the
14:25 way if you flip the Miami portal
14:27 coordinates they would have gone to
14:30 Antarctica if you know you
14:34 know this channel is actually fun
14:37 because probably once a week or so we
14:40 get in someone who's full-on conspiracy
14:42 theorist and I sort of just sort of I
14:44 try to just navigate between the uh
14:47 conspiracy theory uh gold
14:51 posts because I think they're kind of
14:53 fun one of the one of the things that I
14:55 I discovered about conspiracy theories
14:57 in my life um um is that you need just
15:00 need to be careful who you talk to him
15:02 with cuz I kind of see conspiracy
15:04 theories as like a mildly entertaining
15:07 form of just like you know it's it's
15:09 kind of hilarious and then I was talking
15:11 about him one day with a buddy of mine a
15:13 fishing buddy of mine and all of a
15:16 sudden he started going yeah and the and
15:19 and the bankers are controlling the
15:20 world I was like oh no [ __ ] he actually
15:23 believes this [ __ ] uh oh so I to like
15:28 backpedal
15:30 it's
15:30 like all right so um all right so you're
15:35 saying we have to
15:37 prepare we have a year to prepare for
15:39 2025 I'm not saying that at all anema um
15:44 what I'm saying is 2024 like technology
15:48 that's released in 2024 is going to get
15:52 um very powerful very quickly and like
15:55 all the stuff we learned in
15:57 2023 like
15:59 like chat GPT in
16:02 2023 was essentially your essentially
16:05 just kind of like
16:08 fancier like fancier Google response for
16:11 lack of a better term like like you had
16:13 this Google box and you type some words
16:15 in it and then it would do [ __ ] and then
16:18 but over the year it got fancier and
16:20 fancier and it could do more and more
16:21 [ __ ] and by the time we get to
16:24 November it's gone multimodal and now it
16:27 can see images it can talk it can hear
16:29 it can make images but it's still like
16:32 this Google search box and then they
16:34 demo Gemini Ultra and it's got a
16:37 completely different interface and it's
16:38 about having visual objects and then you
16:41 select certain visual objects and then
16:43 you interact with those Vis visual
16:45 objects and so I just I just think
16:48 the what we input to get the AI to do
16:51 stuff and what the output of the AI is
16:54 is just going to get weird like it's
16:56 just going to
16:57 get weird weird cool powerful amazing
17:01 but but whatever skills we gener we we
17:05 um built up in 2023 are not going to be
17:10 wasted but I don't think they really
17:13 prepared us for whatever's coming
17:17 um like the agent thing that someone
17:20 just asked about once we have autonomous
17:22 agents that go off and do things like we
17:26 sort of send our little agents out to
17:29 the world to do [ __ ] for us that's
17:32 different that's just different than you
17:34 know sort of prompting regarding Blandon
17:37 no one ever said it was the unicorn of
17:41 bourbon I am pretty sure I did I am
17:44 pretty sure I did I it would like
17:47 there's no reason why a normal sane man
17:51 would talk as much about a single brand
17:52 of whiskey as me and not own any like if
17:55 I could go down to the booze store and
17:57 get it I just I wouldn't talk about
18:00 it that's that's why I talk about it uh
18:05 it is absolutely the unicorn of bourbon
18:08 so I don't know what you did but holy
18:10 crap it's it's it was like a little
18:13 Christmas
18:14 miracle
18:16 um all right let's go let's go do some
18:19 do some housekeeping here and then we're
18:21 going to we're going to start our little
18:22 project so I want you to go there the
18:25 salon.
18:27 a Kyle did you read some industry Tech
18:30 CEO advis students to slow down on
18:33 jumping into stem due to
18:37 AI slow down on jumping into
18:41 stem due to
18:43 AI I didn't I
18:46 didn't
18:52 um it depends what age he's talking
18:55 about if he's talking about Junior High
18:58 and high high school kids that's that
19:00 feels irresponsible to me if he's
19:02 talking
19:03 about um university age
19:07 then I potentially I I don't necessarily
19:10 agree with slow down on stem like I
19:13 think I think you still need to I I I
19:16 think I think you you still need to
19:19 understand know what what science is
19:23 and and math and things like that
19:27 um
19:29 I think it I I mean this channel exists
19:32 I I'm not I'm not interested in people
19:35 in in slowing down other things so much
19:38 as I'm interested in people accelerating
19:41 getting AI literate maybe they meant
19:44 forget stem and jump full into
19:46 steam well I hope so like one of the
19:49 things that's always bugged the [ __ ]
19:51 [ __ ] out of me with stem is like where
19:53 are the
19:55 Arts and that's steam so and and now if
19:59 steam is AI I don't I I don't I don't
20:01 really care but but again I think I
20:03 think we are entering a new era called
20:06 revenge of the liberal arts major where
20:08 horizontal thinking non-sp specialty
20:10 thinking is going to be increasingly
20:13 valued moving forward because all the
20:15 Specialties that you historically were
20:18 were the more valuable degrees and the
20:20 more valuable skills all of that's going
20:23 to get commoditized with
20:25 AI and like the implications of what's
20:29 of of how these things are getting
20:31 capable on the vertical specialty
20:35 skills is
20:38 crazy people with
20:42 with all those philosophy degrees are
20:45 going to start they're going to start
20:46 coming back to roost the philosophy
20:50 majors and the people with acting
20:53 degrees are going are going to start
20:55 coming back to
20:57 roost and the specialty people are going
20:59 to be like how did you get that
21:02 job what did you study in school oh you
21:06 know Le lar an Tilly's Appalachian
21:10 philosophy along with
21:16 banjo but you're running the AI division
21:18 for a major Fortune 500 Corporation I
21:21 know it's fantastic isn't
21:27 it
21:30 oh man people are going to be so pissed
21:33 but I have a degree I've got 2,000 in
21:37 $200,000 in debt for this specialty
21:40 degree yeah we don't need those people
21:42 anymore everyone can do that
21:45 [Laughter]
21:48 now oh
21:50 man oh lordy lordy
21:54 lordy all
21:57 right it it was a Nobel Prize winner in
22:00 economics that said it I heard someone
22:04 comment that Humanities majors are the
22:05 best at llms so here's here's why I
22:08 think that is um any idea what the new
22:12 Galaxy AI phone is going to be based on
22:15 just Android um there's a new thing
22:17 there's a new thing by the
22:19 way um this is semi-related to the
22:22 Android phone comment um one of the
22:25 other things we're going to see a lot in
22:26 2024 is on device
22:29 AI um so as as companies are announcing
22:34 here's a special phone that just does AI
22:37 That's got some optimized large language
22:39 model that runs locally on the chip
22:42 we're going to start to see a lot of
22:43 that so you're going to be able to have
22:45 a GPT kind of experience without being
22:47 connected to the internet super powerful
22:50 it's going to be a big deal in 2024 I
22:52 mean we're going to start to see that
22:54 kind of stuff
22:57 more
22:59 um in December
23:02 Apple quietly relaunched launched a
23:05 thing called
23:07 mlx and mlx is machine learning X I
23:11 assume um but it's basically a framework
23:15 that allows people to
23:18 run third-party large language models
23:21 and and machine learning models on Apple
23:25 silicon so M1 M2 and M3 chips really
23:28 really efficiently and it does Pate I
23:30 don't know if you're on here Pate but
23:32 one of the things mlx does is it it's
23:35 created a thing called unified memory so
23:39 it's got unified memory across GPU and
23:43 CPU um so so basically it can it can
23:47 just use I don't know whatever Cycles
23:50 are available to it for for machine
23:52 learning stuff the implication of it is
23:55 is that
23:57 um
23:59 that Apple silicon M1 and and newer
24:04 chips um are going to are going to start
24:06 to get really good at running um Ai and
24:09 machine learning stuff so so that's kind
24:11 of cool um I like the idea of Hardware
24:13 based limited AI it's that's the stuff
24:17 of robot laborers yeah exactly I mean
24:19 it's this is this is we're again 2023 is
24:23 the last normal year we're going to get
24:24 us get start to get into some weird [ __ ]
24:28 where where you're going to be able to
24:30 run something on your phone that
24:31 Bluetooths over to your thing that runs
24:33 your whole home automation system and
24:35 all of a sudden your home automation
24:37 system is actually easy to use rather
24:39 than you have to be a a Quantum
24:41 physicist to figure out how to program
24:42 it um or you're going to or or there's
24:45 going to be some consumer robot that
24:47 does some cool [ __ ] in the kitchen and
24:49 you you know it's it's there's just
24:51 going to be some going to be some
24:53 interesting stuff
24:55 um all right I haven't gotten started
24:57 yet we're 24 minutes in we haven't even
24:59 done anything um I need to get a new
25:02 Android phone with a slm llm capable
25:05 device anyone here of good ones not yet
25:08 it's a little early like I just My
25:10 Philosophy with apple Hardware is is
25:13 just always always buy the most
25:17 expensive spec that you
25:19 can just try to buy yourself three years
25:23 rather than a
25:26 year but you know I have a lot of stuff
25:31 done to the
25:33 house pixel's a really decent phone yeah
25:36 the new pixel Pro 8 has already has a
25:40 native version of Gemini
25:44 Nano um there there's there's some app
25:47 on the this was this was some weird ass
25:50 thing that that Google did so when they
25:52 announced Gemini they're like okay
25:53 there's three versions of Gemini there's
25:56 Gemini Pro
25:58 which is basically GPT 3.5 then there's
26:01 Gemini Nano and they said and Gemini
26:04 Nano is now running on the pixel 8 Pro
26:09 Well turns out there's like one there's
26:12 like one feature in one software
26:15 application that uses the large language
26:17 model like like it was just like this
26:19 really small little it was like some
26:21 sort of glorified search or something
26:23 that used it but it's coming so so again
26:27 I would just say
26:29 buy the one with the most processing
26:31 power and the most memory that you can
26:34 afford um but I just like that's just a
26:37 tech thing in general right CU Tech
26:40 stuff's advancing too much I just
26:41 updated our iPhones today very cool got
26:45 my kid on a OnePlus it's fairly decent
26:47 very cool I love my 299 okay so the AI
26:50 learning lab has now become an Android
26:52 phone recommendation
26:54 system I've abandoned all other Android
26:57 brands
26:58 pixel's a really decent one all right
27:01 good fantastic help each other I'm an
27:03 iPhone guys so I don't have a [ __ ]
27:05 clue on
27:07 Android um where can I get a list of
27:12 apis apis for what I use prax on my home
27:16 network 15 prax here nice back to
27:20 automation back to automation team
27:22 iPhone yeah [ __ ] team iPhone um I was
27:26 an iPhone guy in 7 28 nice gpts all
27:30 right all right listen let's get started
27:34 here so go
27:37 there if you're a bunch of adders like
27:40 me which you I know a lot of you are
27:43 wait that's not where I want to be where
27:44 do I want to be I don't have it
27:46 up um the
27:54 salon okay so you're going to go
27:57 here
28:02 so the the the first three links here
28:04 are the are the GPT for good um project
28:07 that we did last weekend um
28:10 Vicky bless her heart she updated this
28:15 directory so what this is if you don't
28:16 know what this is last
28:19 Saturday this
28:21 community did a
28:24 24hour uh GPT for good challenge where
28:28 we taught people over a 24-hour period
28:30 we did eight different sessions an
28:32 Murphy and I alternated every 3 hours we
28:35 did another session where we had this
28:38 specific little cheat sheet and we
28:40 taught people how to make gpts which if
28:42 you don't know what those are they're
28:44 personalized uh customized versions of
28:47 chat GPT that you can name and save and
28:51 share with other people they're really
28:53 powerful and you don't need to know any
28:55 programming and that was the whole point
28:57 and this Community built 150 gpts in a
29:01 24-hour period so this
29:03 page the first link on that the salon. a
29:07 link tree um explains what the event was
29:11 and then here's the 150 gpts that were
29:14 created so super inspiring go see these
29:17 they're they're just absolutely
29:19 amazing and what Vicky added tonight was
29:23 this want to create your own gpts these
29:26 instructions will get you up and running
29:28 for your GPT for good in create mode
29:31 fill in the options so these are the
29:34 instructions that we gave people on that
29:37 day and so it's right here on the page
29:40 so you can go get inspired by the gpts
29:42 up here if you haven't made one how you
29:44 make a
29:46 GPT is you go to chat GPT and if you've
29:50 got chat GPT 4 right now it's required
29:52 that you have chat gbt 4 you click on
29:55 this explore button and at the the very
29:58 top it says create a
30:02 GPT and there you go you're in create
30:06 mode and then you just copy and paste
30:10 you you basically start here you copy
30:12 that put your information in it pop it
30:15 into the GPT and within seriously within
30:18 like 3 minutes you will have a
30:19 functional GPT and then the rest of
30:22 these steps are just to make it
30:24 better it's really cool it's really an
30:26 amazing thing um and so people got super
30:29 inspired by this so if you want to be
30:31 inspired and if you want to go make some
30:32 stuff go do that the second link on this
30:35 link tree is a a YouTube playlist of the
30:38 actual sessions where we taught people
30:40 how to do it there's four of my Tik toks
30:43 and two of Ann Murphy's Zoom sessions um
30:47 and then here's the prompt sheet I'm
30:49 going to get rid of that in a second
30:51 okay all right so that's
30:54 that all right now what we're going to
30:56 do is I'm I'm I'm going to I'm going to
30:59 change gears here for a second I am
31:01 going to flip over
31:05 and go to docs or no I'm not going to go
31:08 to docs I'm going to go to link
31:15 tree
31:21 [Music]
31:25 admin Kyle Valentine's Day will be a 100
31:28 days since we were given GPT Creator
31:31 abilities oh
31:33 interesting that's really
31:37 interesting lunar lunar stick is trying
31:40 to bait me into doing another 24-hour
31:42 thing over over Valentine's Day um
31:46 that's my anniversary so so so we might
31:50 do something but I I got to at least
31:52 block out some time to do anniversary
31:54 [ __ ] in
31:56 there
31:58 you evil evil
32:01 woman uh why where we couldn't load your
32:06 links why
32:07 not they're loading over
32:09 there okay here we go okay so I'm G to
32:13 I'm going to do some things here I'm
32:16 going to turn off the link to
32:26 the
32:28 prompt
32:31 sheet I'm going to delete
32:35 that I am going to delete
32:41 that I think I'm going to delete the
32:43 promp sheet I'll leave it
32:45 there yeah all right I'm going to move
32:49 this
32:52 up I wait what Guild should I be a part
32:56 of oh oh so so so okay I didn't do that
32:58 hang on all right we'll come we'll come
33:00 back to
33:01 this okay
33:03 so on your link
33:05 tree the fourth link is the AI Salon
33:09 community so what is the AI Salon
33:11 Community the AI Salon
33:14 Community is bitching for one
33:17 thing this channel is kind of an
33:19 extension of this community so when you
33:22 get to the AI Salon Community it's a
33:24 mighty networks um uh
33:28 platform and go to the the first place
33:31 you should go and you get there is
33:33 welcome to the AI salon and learn about
33:36 the salon learn about what we're up to a
33:38 community of extraordinary adventurers
33:40 exploring the AI unknown so we talk
33:42 about who we are why we do what we do
33:44 and what our values are so curiosity and
33:47 generosity and exploration and
33:50 collaboration and inclusion and empathy
33:53 and go read what those are about that's
33:55 what this community is about so if these
33:57 values resonate with you great then
34:00 these are your
34:01 people think of the AI Salon as like a
34:04 support group if you're like the weirdo
34:06 in your group where you keep talking
34:08 about Ai and you're like you you guys
34:10 you gotta the AI I get it you got to see
34:13 what it does and everyone's like shut up
34:15 about the AI you [ __ ] weirdo if
34:17 you're that person this is your
34:20 community we're here we're here you can
34:24 say all the weird [ __ ] here and we're
34:26 like yeah yeah I know isn't it
34:28 amazing and then occasionally there'll
34:30 be a kudin in here that's like well you
34:32 know it hallucinates right we're like
34:34 yeah yeah we know that's going to get
34:35 better so so it's that
34:38 group um and then within there there's
34:41 there's in the community section go to
34:43 the introduce yourself area first and
34:46 introduce yourself please introduce
34:48 yourself and here's the deal if you've
34:50 got that social anxiety thing where
34:52 you're like well I don't want to
34:53 introduce myself cuz I'm just brand new
34:55 with this Ai and everyone in here
34:56 probably knows more than I do and just
34:59 just [ __ ] introduce
35:00 yourself one of our values is
35:05 generosity and it it is actually a
35:08 gift to the other people in the
35:10 community for you to say who you are and
35:13 where you are in the
35:14 journey and it's also a gift for you to
35:18 share what you're learning while you're
35:20 learning it and no matter how
35:23 ridiculously simple the thing you
35:25 learned is and how obvious you think it
35:28 is and it's not going to help anyone
35:30 else what we've learned is that when
35:32 people share the the stuff that they
35:34 think is the stupid [ __ ] it blows other
35:37 people's
35:38 minds because everyone's coming from a
35:41 different life experience and work
35:43 experience and AI experience and so
35:46 someone comes in and goes I figured out
35:48 how to do something and here's what it
35:49 is and everyone's like oh [ __ ] I never
35:51 thought about it like that you did it
35:54 Jamie you cracked the code
35:58 so introduce
35:59 yourself and then there's a um there's a
36:02 water cooler discussion Channel there's
36:03 a news channel um there's showand tell
36:06 so one of the things that happens in
36:08 here the people that come to these my
36:10 lives I do these things nightly um
36:13 they'll hop in Show and Tell and if they
36:15 get bored of what I'm saying which
36:16 happens a
36:17 lot they come over to show and tell and
36:20 like entertain each other with making oh
36:22 that's a cool
36:23 one this is this a is this a uh Danielle
36:26 did you make this do a GPT the
36:28 reflection thing cuz it's super
36:31 cool that's
36:34 hilarious
36:37 um but but there's you know all sorts of
36:40 stuff in here oh very nice blandon's ice
36:42 cream oh that looks so
36:44 good um a blandon's float oh that sounds
36:49 good
36:51 actually um you can go share things and
36:53 show and tell um there's also AI tools
36:55 and resources where
36:57 here's all the tools you should be
36:59 starting with and playing with and then
37:01 the question that was just asked guilds
37:03 here's all the guilds so there's an AI
37:05 101 Guild an Art Guild a writer Guild
37:07 business uh AI mechanics uh healthc care
37:11 video and uh Stacy and Matt's education
37:14 Guild the education Guild's brand new um
37:18 which one you should join is which one
37:19 you're interested in that's the whole
37:21 idea of these sub communities guilds or
37:23 sub communities where you can geek out
37:26 um and we're going to increasingly make
37:28 those about you know educating people in
37:30 different specialty areas um just start
37:35 participating okay let me go back and
37:38 fix some [ __ ] here so I'm going to
37:42 move where is it AI Salon Community I'm
37:46 going to move that
37:49 there no I'm going to move it to the top
37:51 for
37:56 now
37:59 and I think I'm going to turn off the
38:01 bi-weekly Meetup
38:05 because that information's already
38:11 in that's already in
38:16 um that's already in the salon all right
38:20 so let me reload
38:23 this okay so we got we have a new order
38:26 we have a new order so we've got the AI
38:27 Salon Community we've got GPT for good
38:30 event director you'll see where this is
38:31 going in a second and then we've got the
38:33 playlist for GPT for good so I'm going
38:35 to leave the GPT for good stuff here um
38:38 we've got AI salon at the
38:40 top and then we are going to add a new
38:44 thing so here's what we're going to
38:49 do blandon's Irish coffee sounds good
38:51 that would be
38:52 good where in the mighty Network's AI
38:56 Salon is the the link tree it's it's not
38:58 cam it's um the
39:02 the the um right right there is the URL
39:06 for the link tree the salon. a just
39:09 redirects to the link tree all right so
39:13 that'll take you to the link
39:17 tree nice getting the merch above the
39:19 fold looks great yeah and by the way the
39:22 merch on this
39:25 page um ay it's cool oh I'm actually
39:27 wearing one look see yay you did it
39:32 you're a master
39:33 merchandiser um the AI Salon is free so
39:37 this is an amazing community that
39:39 infrastructure Mighty networks is not
39:42 cheap and and one of the options that we
39:45 had when we put this this community
39:47 together was well we could charge a
39:48 membership fee and this and that and we
39:51 decided not to do that so the way that
39:54 the salon is supported is through either
39:57 people that uh you can sponsor a month
40:00 um which is I think really reasonable um
40:03 but you can also just if you buy merch
40:06 from the merch store that goes to
40:07 support the infrastructure so that's why
40:09 it's free um so so there's that and we
40:12 have a cool logo I like our
40:14 logo
40:17 okay so now we're going to do something
40:20 new I'm going to create a new document
40:22 and I'm going to give everyone access to
40:25 it and we're all going to work from it
40:27 I'm going to I'm going to be building
40:29 this document in real
40:31 time and and I'm going to be
40:33 documenting what we're going through is
40:36 we take screen plays from screenplay
40:38 form to some other
40:42 [ __ ] and I think this will become a
40:45 really useful
40:48 document
40:49 um
40:51 okay so we're going to go new
40:55 document
40:58 and we'll go title and what are we going
41:01 to say here
41:03 um AI learning lab uh we do AI
41:13 learn uh what are we going to call this
41:17 um I like stupid names for things people
41:21 so let's call
41:23 this Hollywood in a box
41:26 [Laughter]
41:36 what's Hollywood in a
41:38 box I don't know but the Irregulars will
41:40 find some way to make that funny and
41:42 they'll put that on the show and tell
41:44 Channel um let's see we'll
41:52 go come on why is that not
41:55 working oh come on come on
42:01 you why is my oh cuz Siri Siri hey Siri
42:06 Siri Siri go
42:09 away
42:13 okay I found this on the web oh hey
42:18 [Music]
42:21 Siri go ahead go
42:24 away okay
42:28 she's such a [ __ ] she's so
42:33 jealous can I have my microphone
42:36 back
42:40 siri not you go
42:43 away
42:45 okay oh my God you're
42:49 welcome
42:53 January let's see on January
42:59 7th we started a
43:04 project to
43:07 explore creative
43:10 expression uh based
43:14 on some
43:16 screen plays to see where things oh my
43:20 God what the [ __ ] just
43:23 happened God damn it
43:37 January 7th we started
43:39 PR based
43:51 on using screen
43:55 plays to see see
43:58 where things can go creatively all
44:07 right oh good lord okay and then this is
44:11 going this going to be our
44:14 document you're like but Kyle how do I
44:16 get that to that document what am I
44:18 supposed to do here Kyle what are we
44:20 doing hey Kyle I don't have an answer
44:21 yet are we done is it done are we done
44:24 did you make a movie I thought you were
44:25 making a movie Why don't not see any
44:27 pictures hey Kyle Kyle what's the
44:28 screenplay what's the screenplay about
44:29 did you write screenplays did you write
44:31 these screenplays did you write them
44:32 with anyone else did you sell any of
44:34 them are you a Hollywood Mogul calm down
44:37 people calm
44:39 down good lord already so
44:43 demanding I don't know if anyone's
44:45 actually asked those questions but I
44:47 assume you have let's see Kyle have you
44:49 heard of
44:51 microsofts seeing AI it's an AI that
44:54 helps people see just with their
44:59 phones is that the one didn't they team
45:01 up with um there's an there's a there's
45:05 an iPhone app called be my eyes is it is
45:08 it part of that project I heard about
45:10 that project oh my God Siri just
45:12 responded s sir sir she Siri just really
45:16 inserts herself when when she realizes
45:19 that we're we're interacting with the
45:22 computer without her involvement she
45:23 doesn't like
45:24 it um
45:27 watch out you gave the AI
45:29 gold no this is the AI
45:33 gold
45:34 uhoh uhoh
45:38 what's I bet my battery's dead oh yeah
45:43 these are some badass
45:45 batteries all right we may have to we
45:49 may have to
45:50 re-record you make you make you can make
45:56 hey we got
45:59 one
46:01 okay I really wish we could still order
46:03 the first anniversary shirts I might
46:05 open that up I might I might open that
46:08 up uh for for a week or two just as a
46:11 just as a
46:14 lark Amelio's wife yeah it's I I'm
46:17 really happy with the the first
46:19 anniversary logo is really good maybe
46:21 I'll just turn it back on I don't
46:23 [ __ ] know all
46:25 right
46:26 the average person is going to use a on
46:28 a daily basis in five years just wait
46:31 yeah the a that's going to happen way
46:33 before five years too much
46:35 coffee better irregular than irrelevant
46:38 love that okay wait take that one
46:41 Irregulars better irregular than
46:43 irrelevant that needs we okay showand
46:46 tell needs to be full of all sorts of
46:48 cool ideas for
46:53 that better irregular than irrelevant
46:56 that's [ __ ] huge that that I love
47:03 that sounds like the AI learning lab
47:05 frog or Turtle you can make money with
47:08 chat GPT as long as the batteries work
47:11 it's janky night oh this is totally
47:13 janky night because we're starting
47:14 something new oh my God you're haunted
47:21 tonight oh good lord
47:25 um
47:27 okay all right so here's what we're
47:29 going to do let me share
47:32 this oh I need to save it so this is uh
47:35 AI learning I'm going so going to do
47:36 it's going to be called AI l
47:41 l
47:43 Hollywood in a
47:46 box well you're not you're you're not in
47:48 Hollywood you're in Denver I I don't
47:50 think it's very accurate to call it uh
47:52 Hollywood in a box I you I think I think
47:55 a more accurate uh um not moniker could
47:57 be uh something like a a movie movie
48:00 making in a in a container uh boxes as
48:04 it's got a double on Tandra and and uh
48:06 it might be confusing to people so so if
48:08 we create a container uh whereby you you
48:11 could do a virtual film making so I
48:13 think I think an more appropriate name
48:14 could be um uh virtual uh film crafting
48:19 in a container then you have some
48:21 alliteration with the the crafting and
48:23 the container I I think that would be
48:25 more appropriate uh name so we're going
48:28 to go with Hollywood in a
48:30 box um share the Untitled document we
48:33 are going to share it with anyone with
48:36 the link is a viewer and we're going to
48:39 copy the link
48:42 done and then we're going to go back to
48:44 our link tree and we're going to do a
48:46 new link boom and we're just going to
48:49 call it
48:53 Hollywood in oh no we need the
48:59 URL I'm going to add that
49:03 boom a i l Hollywood and box oh and then
49:07 we
49:08 need uh okay here's what I
49:11 need wait okay this is where we get
49:14 collaborative Kyle snap out of it in a
49:17 box with a fox exactly okay and Murphy
49:20 what's happening um okay here's what I
49:22 need people I need this I listen this is
49:26 going be a collaborative situation we're
49:27 going to help each other here cuz I just
49:29 realized I could go to delali right now
49:31 and I could make myself a Hollywood and
49:33 a box icon but I need I need something
49:36 that's going to go on our little our
49:38 little link tree there right there that
49:41 that represents Hollywood in a box so
49:43 I'm thinking it should be one of those
49:44 clacker things or something I need so so
49:48 make something that represents Hollywood
49:50 in a box like a film reel coming out of
49:52 a box with with light or something put
49:56 it in showand tell and then I'll update
49:57 our our link tree but um you should now
50:01 have access
50:03 to because that link tree is live so if
50:06 I just reload
50:10 this there's Hollywood in a box right at
50:12 the top and if you click on that it
50:14 should take us to Boom this
50:17 document and you should have access to
50:21 view only so hopefully I didn't give you
50:24 access to edit it you'll go in and
50:26 you'll put in things like conspiracy
50:29 theories and Kyle's a douche and and you
50:32 know we we yeah we need some controls in
50:35 this world
50:37 people we've got vagrants we've got neru
50:41 Wells and and and though the AI Salon is
50:45 is a is a is a is just an absolute
50:48 community of Mis creant ner duells and
50:51 the such we can't have them just
50:53 randomly editing documents okay people
50:56 do you understand how this
50:58 works clearly you don't the store isn't
51:02 open yet so I don't think you can search
51:04 that's correct keep it clean hey let's
51:06 keep it clean here people box in a box
51:09 I'm trying to search for a custom GPT
51:11 called semantic kernel how do I search
51:13 so here's how you can search here we'll
51:15 have an add moment welcome to Chad add
51:18 go to
51:21 Google google.com and type in this site
51:26 colon no space site colon chat.
51:33 open.com G slash and then what's it
51:37 called semantic kernel assistant so then
51:39 you do space
51:42 semantic
51:44 kernel is Kernel with an a k e r
51:48 n no e
51:50 l
51:52 kernel it it does not look like it's
51:55 been been um it doesn't look like it's
51:58 been
52:00 um
52:02 indexed semantic scribe semantic
52:05 Explorer content Explorer semantic Sage
52:08 semantic scribe there's a bunch of
52:10 semantic things but Kel wasn't in there
52:12 unless you spelled konel wrong k e r n a
52:16 l no that's not right
52:20 no kernel Kern l no it's not there
52:26 um but site do site colon chat. open.com
52:31 SLG will let you find all the
52:35 gpts which is pretty slick okay enough
52:39 add back to this all right so we have a
52:42 Hollywood in the Box
52:44 document and now we're going to go start
52:54 playing so I've got
52:56 I've got salmon flying
53:00 East I've got three by the way the
53:03 Buffalo Bills just scored a touchdown
53:05 they're now
53:06 leading 20 to 14 over the
53:10 Dolphins in
53:12 Miami Miami not too happy they look
53:15 they're looking
53:20 cranky ah
53:23 okay let's see
53:26 so I've got salmon flying
53:29 East I've got seven screen plays I could
53:31 pull from I I think what I'm going to do
53:33 is
53:34 this I'm going to figure out how to do
53:36 this on one screenplay and then we're
53:39 going to do it for three screen plays so
53:42 I've got one called salmon flying East
53:44 which is like
53:45 a a memories of War
53:49 drama I've got one called virtue which
53:52 is a sci-fi
53:54 thriller somewhere between born identity
53:57 and Blade
53:58 Runner and then I've got one called the
54:01 fight game which is a boxing
54:04 SL
54:06 trial someone murdered someone
54:11 film I think those are the three we're
54:13 going to play with I also have one man's
54:15 show but that's all
54:20 right and
54:22 then why this is going to be such a
54:24 train wreck is
54:26 is
54:28 so
54:30 one one of the uh the downsides of being
54:35 neuros spicy with
54:37 ADHD is that documenting [ __ ] is one of
54:41 my weak
54:42 points so oh actually you know
54:46 what lunatick or Vicky or someone maybe
54:50 what I do is I'll give editing access to
54:53 that document to some some trusted
54:57 co-conspirators in here so if anyone in
55:00 here is is really good at
55:03 documentation and wants to wants to play
55:06 along maybe we'll do something like that
55:09 cuz because what I'm thinking is this
55:11 I'm going to
55:12 start just kind of jamming like going to
55:15 chat GPT and jamming and figuring out
55:18 what to do with a screen playay and then
55:21 when we come up with something cool
55:22 start to document what I did so you can
55:24 do this with some other long form
55:26 document or some other
55:27 screenplay so I don't so so anyway so
55:30 okay Vicki says gimme okay um hang
55:33 on let me
55:38 go Hollywood in a Box share I think I
55:43 have your email don't I
55:46 Vicki
55:50 yes
55:52 um and I'm just putting be careful
55:57 what you ask
56:02 for all right but but Vicki's really
56:04 good at this stuff so awesome okay and
56:07 if anyone else wants to jump in that
56:09 that I know and trust and love um let me
56:12 know yes I I I want to share with
56:15 someone outside of my organization okay
56:18 you have access to that
56:24 awesome I'll be careful yeah
56:28 exactly oh man go Bells all right please
56:33 guys what is the trick for correct
56:35 spelling in Dolly 3 wait for 6 months
56:38 just keep trying keep trying um break
56:41 your words up try to simplify your words
56:44 um put them in a different order tell it
56:47 to put it on a sign just ask it to do it
56:50 37 times and understand that sometimes
56:52 it's going to get it wrong here's my
56:54 actual serious advice about trying to
56:57 get spelling right in Del
57:01 don't embrace the [ __ ] up spelling
57:05 because we're going to look back at
57:07 images that were generated at this
57:10 time like longingly like like like it
57:14 it's going to we're going to be like oh
57:16 remember when it couldn't spell that was
57:17 so fun so my my actual recommendation is
57:21 embrace the misspelling make fun of them
57:23 when you use the images and just put
57:25 them out there fully misspelled because
57:28 I'm telling you 6 months from now none
57:30 of these things are going to make
57:31 spelling mistakes anymore it's all going
57:33 to be perfect and it's and we're going
57:34 to be like oh that's this is a little
57:36 boring super useful but it's a little
57:38 boring remember when it was fun so have
57:40 fun with it okay um I put two fun images
57:45 in there they're not wait but they're
57:47 not for this but they are called
57:50 Hollywood in a box though all right let
57:52 me go let me go look at the uh the oh
57:55 there was the this is the uh this is the
57:57 YouTube icon I did for the for the
58:00 Irregulars gift ambush
58:05 video so listen I put a solid three and
58:08 a half minutes into making this image
58:10 don't don't judge
58:12 me
58:13 um let's go look at that by the way so
58:16 if I
58:17 go to the
58:23 channel and go to playlists and go to
58:27 special
58:29 episodes we should
58:32 have yeah the very last one here is the
58:36 irregular gift Ambush so if you let's
58:39 see if you go to the AI learning lab
58:42 Channel which is AI learning laab
58:45 dtt and then go to videos it should be
58:48 the last one yeah there you go so
58:51 there's an doing her GPT for good thing
58:55 and there's the uh there's last night's
58:57 video so if if you missed last night
58:59 when I got ambushed with
59:01 blantons best Ambush ever by the
59:06 way which which by by the by the way
59:11 Amelia's wife you you'll appreciate this
59:14 I went up I went upstairs to the boys
59:16 and I said I said zachie I I said you
59:20 know I do all this this uh AI learning
59:22 lab stuff and I I don't make any money
59:24 on it I'm like like look what I got and
59:26 I showed him a bottle of blands his
59:28 first response was they know where we
59:37 live so so so my boys are appropriately
59:44 paranoid I thought that was pretty
59:47 awesome oh
59:51 man oh did I like the prey oh my God it
59:54 was amazing so I've got I've got um I've
59:58 got blandon's flavored popcorn two of
1:00:00 them I'm drinking Blandon flavored
1:00:03 coffee um awesome nutty delicious and
1:00:07 then yeah I had a bland and slushie last
1:00:09 night it was incredible and I've also
1:00:12 committed that can you still see it yeah
1:00:14 it's right here um I've also committed
1:00:17 that I'm only going to drink that bottle
1:00:19 of Blandon live so so when I need a
1:00:22 libation some night that's where it's
1:00:24 going to come from
1:00:27 it seems like the appropriate thing to
1:00:29 do
1:00:31 so going a popcorn [ __ ]
1:00:34 delicious
1:00:35 okay did I like my prey it was
1:00:40 wild yeah we'll be be nostalgic for
1:00:43 errors in a few months
1:00:46 absolutely yeah right Amelio's wife I
1:00:50 know they know where we live it was so
1:00:54 derogatory
1:00:58 they they just have they as the unwashed
1:01:02 internet masses like we're going to be
1:01:05 run down by Russian Mobsters any any
1:01:08 moment now which hey it's possible you
1:01:12 never know Amelio's wife she she
1:01:15 she she claims to be sweet and she seems
1:01:18 sweet on the surface but you never know
1:01:21 there could be very dark Rivers Running
1:01:22 there you know very dark Rivers
1:01:27 all right let's go look at um the
1:01:31 AI Show and Tell see if we have anything
1:01:33 good for
1:01:35 the for the what's it called
1:01:40 uh oh that's a good one Hollywood in a
1:01:44 box I need something oh that's pretty
1:01:46 cool I don't know I need something
1:01:48 that's going to the these are good for
1:01:50 something bigger but for the link tree
1:01:52 it's got to be something that can fit
1:01:56 that that can read as a little
1:02:03 icon oh like that that's interesting but
1:02:06 I'm missing the box
1:02:12 there better IR gortar than
1:02:23 irar
1:02:25 oh there's Hollywood in the Box okay
1:02:26 this is the one thanks TK all right
1:02:30 um it's a very Democratic thing how we
1:02:33 do this here I see first thing I like I
1:02:36 use so this is one of my um one of my
1:02:39 tenants about AI art is there are just
1:02:43 like the the AI Salon logos this
1:02:46 triangle when it comes to content
1:02:48 development I see content development is
1:02:50 there's kind of three levels in a
1:02:52 pyramid at the bottom of the pyramid is
1:02:55 good enough I just need art that's good
1:02:58 enough and so most art that you need for
1:03:01 stuff like this little projects you do
1:03:03 it just needs to be good enough doesn't
1:03:05 need to be great just needs to be good
1:03:06 enough um so this is lovely it's good
1:03:09 enough so it falls at the bottom of that
1:03:10 the middle of the pyramid is it needs to
1:03:12 be good and then the top of the pyramid
1:03:13 is it needs to be excellent and there's
1:03:15 much less stuff that needs to be
1:03:17 excellent than there is that just needs
1:03:18 to be good enough um and I think that's
1:03:21 actually a really important concept for
1:03:24 artists and writers to get their head
1:03:26 around because a lot of the
1:03:28 paranoia about AI art right now is oh
1:03:31 it's stealing jobs and it's stealing
1:03:33 content a lot of the what's being
1:03:36 generated with AI is net new artwork
1:03:40 that just needs to be good enough they
1:03:42 wouldn't have hired an artist to do that
1:03:44 anyway um so anyway um that's a little
1:03:47 side rant okay so we're going to put
1:03:49 Hollywood in the Box on the desktop
1:03:51 we're going to go back to our little
1:03:53 thing here we're we're going to add a
1:03:58 thumbnail how do I upload it
1:04:00 change upload your
1:04:05 thumbnail Hollywood in the
1:04:15 box thank you TK for the lovely just
1:04:18 good enough
1:04:21 image
1:04:23 crap
1:04:27 upload boom look at that look at that
1:04:31 people you see how fast we work around
1:04:34 here boom we now have a logo yay you did
1:04:41 it have you learned
1:04:48 something oh man
1:04:52 um Okay so so let's see if Vicki's gone
1:04:55 in here and violated this document yet
1:04:58 she hasn't what
1:05:00 restraint see Vicki here's the
1:05:03 difference between you and me if someone
1:05:05 had given me editing access to a
1:05:06 document that lots of people are looking
1:05:08 at I would have gone in there and been
1:05:10 enter entertaining myself right from the
1:05:13 get-go you you've got remarkable
1:05:14 patience and a level of professionalism
1:05:17 that I don't deserve so good on
1:05:21 you it's not it's not what I'm used to
1:05:23 it's not the behavior I'm used to but
1:05:25 I'll take it all right let's go look at
1:05:27 some more stuff over here oh that's a
1:05:29 nice one who did that Mr K beautiful oh
1:05:31 no Mr it love that one very
1:05:35 cool better urar than real
1:05:42 evant oh this one I okay this one is
1:05:46 awesome because it can't spell either of
1:05:48 these
1:05:49 words yeah this is we we're going to
1:05:52 have some Classics here oh that's a nice
1:05:53 one that's beautiful who did that Tim
1:05:56 sheff
1:05:57 nice very nice very good the crew hard
1:06:00 at work I like it oh that one's
1:06:02 beautiful oh see if I'd have seen that
1:06:04 one first Mr it I might have used that
1:06:06 one although that might not that
1:06:08 probably wouldn't read
1:06:10 small nice beautiful beautiful who's
1:06:13 this Ann Murphy love
1:06:16 it yeah these are great that's a good
1:06:18 one Genie Bell I like it better ear ER
1:06:24 GR
1:06:25 than
1:06:27 irent better ER than irent I've all it's
1:06:31 something I've always
1:06:34 said I'm telling you people we're going
1:06:37 to look back on these images we're going
1:06:38 to be like oh those were the
1:06:40 days in my
1:06:42 day you'd ask doly to make you an image
1:06:45 with words on it and sometimes you
1:06:47 couldn't even tell what the words were
1:06:49 that's weird Grandpa Tell us more about
1:06:52 when when it couldn't spell words
1:06:56 I tried to get it to spell irregular
1:06:57 once 372 times before it got it right
1:07:01 that's so weird Grandpa I spell
1:07:03 irrelevant all the
1:07:06 time oh man oh those are nice very nice
1:07:10 is that mid Journey are you mid
1:07:12 journeying there oh tasty like it Lord
1:07:16 digital Gods oh these are really good
1:07:18 nice people these are these are sweet
1:07:21 love
1:07:23 it better
1:07:26 but here
1:07:27 ridar
1:07:36 IR oh man holy [ __ ] you guys are going
1:07:40 nuts tonight all right I like it well
1:07:43 this is there so
1:07:48 sometimes I provide entertainment and
1:07:52 actual content and then there's times
1:07:55 like tonight where there doesn't seem to
1:07:58 be any purpose to the rambling and on
1:08:01 those nights there's there's a lot more
1:08:03 images get
1:08:06 generated what a
1:08:10 turtle better
1:08:14 irregular did has anyone gotten it right
1:08:17 yet I don't think anyone has keep trying
1:08:20 people wait better
1:08:22 irregular than
1:08:24 irrelevant that's right
1:08:27 right who did that Mr it I think you're
1:08:31 the first one to get the spelling
1:08:35 right they they know we're alive oh they
1:08:39 know where we live yeah
1:08:42 exactly and and then and then zachie
1:08:45 told his friend he was online with his
1:08:47 friends and and he said he said um
1:08:52 Kyle's Kyle's audience delivered a uh a
1:08:55 bottle of
1:08:56 Blandon first thing his friend says was
1:08:59 they know where you
1:09:00 live I don't know what it is with Jen
1:09:03 ears but they don't have the sense of
1:09:05 adventure us gen xers do
1:09:13 apparently Mr Shannon is Pika down let's
1:09:16 go look I I used it earlier today cuz I
1:09:19 was I was preparing for our little our
1:09:22 little moment look I I made
1:09:24 I made
1:09:26 videos let me see if it's down though
1:09:30 Pika seems to be live p. art if you're
1:09:35 trying p.com it might you might just
1:09:37 have the wrong
1:09:41 URL this is from the opening scene of
1:09:45 virtue that's the corporate building
1:09:47 where the
1:09:49 virtue virtual
1:09:51 reality Manchurian Candidate technology
1:09:54 ology
1:09:56 lives um
1:09:59 okay it's expensive
1:10:03 wow any updates on the GPT store opening
1:10:06 not that I know
1:10:08 of Kyle your only concern wait your only
1:10:12 concern was that there was Blandon in
1:10:14 the
1:10:15 house and you didn't know
1:10:17 [Laughter]
1:10:20 it oh
1:10:22 man I I have I'm like well they know
1:10:25 like they know how long I've been trying
1:10:27 to get a bottle of blantons in the house
1:10:30 so they were like wow that's amazing
1:10:32 wait they know where we
1:10:34 [Laughter]
1:10:38 live all right what am I
1:10:40 doing uh we thought you know Kyle that's
1:10:43 why we're here we figured you had some
1:10:45 sort of an agenda you know clearly if uh
1:10:48 so one of the things uh in a
1:10:50 professional situation one of the things
1:10:52 that you can do is uh you can put
1:10:54 together uh what's called an agenda uh a
1:10:57 series of uh uh you you could do them as
1:10:59 bulleted points you you some sort of
1:11:01 document some sort of organization that
1:11:03 that that lets your audience know of
1:11:05 here here's the kind of things we're
1:11:07 going to be working on uh this evening
1:11:09 uh the first 15 minutes you you can even
1:11:12 uh in the agenda you can create things
1:11:14 like a first 15 minutes A A chitchat
1:11:17 where where um you as the host can can
1:11:19 just uh there's not really an agenda but
1:11:22 but you have it time boxed of of course
1:11:24 so you don't just ramble for 2 and 1/2
1:11:25 hours right which seems to be what's
1:11:27 happening now um so if if you limit the
1:11:30 uh chitchat section to uh what what we
1:11:33 would call A A Time boxed uh container
1:11:36 uh for the first 15 minutes uh your your
1:11:38 audience may find it less
1:11:48 frustrating Vicki still hasn't taken the
1:11:51 opportunity to do comedy in the document
1:11:53 it's okay it's all right be professional
1:11:56 be that way that's fine that's ah hold
1:12:01 please
1:12:03 squirrel okay so here's what we're GNA
1:12:07 [Music]
1:12:10 do okay first thing we're going to do we
1:12:13 are going to
1:12:16 go
1:12:17 um let's see free
1:12:21 screenplay PDFs
1:12:26 I'm going to go find a site and if
1:12:27 anybody knows of one of these let me
1:12:29 know this this is one of those maddening
1:12:31 Google search moments where I'm going to
1:12:33 try to find a site that's not a sales
1:12:36 funnel for some stupid [ __ ] thing so
1:12:39 so what happens is when you try to find
1:12:41 a site where you can just download
1:12:44 PDFs what what Google is full of now is
1:12:47 SEO injected sales funnel sites that try
1:12:50 to get you to pay for access to paid
1:12:54 versions of free pdf
1:12:56 repositories and it's it's [ __ ] awful
1:12:59 so anyway so let's try to
1:13:01 find find a place we can get free screen
1:13:04 plays script
1:13:07 PDF see I can I can tell by looking at
1:13:10 these things if they're real or
1:13:12 not full list browse the latest yeah
1:13:16 this
1:13:19 doesn't this looks like they're going to
1:13:21 charge us for them no I'm not even going
1:13:23 to
1:13:25 click um and if anybody knows of a site
1:13:28 that's got these Mr Shannon any ideas on
1:13:31 a text to video for free which makes the
1:13:35 videos longer than 3 seconds so Rudy
1:13:37 nothing right now over
1:13:42 Google oh ever Google much Mr Shannon I
1:13:45 Google I Google very rarely anymore
1:13:48 because I hate it so much oops my
1:13:49 computer's about to die
1:13:52 um
1:13:54 Hang On by the way uh for those of you
1:13:59 um Irregulars out there who were part of
1:14:01 this look my computer is on a stand look
1:14:05 I can twirl it back and forth huh look
1:14:10 at that it's like a professional [ __ ]
1:14:12 operation
1:14:15 now so so long Mr helmet
1:14:22 box
1:14:24 next I'm going to get rid of the
1:14:25 cardboard box that holds my light I'm
1:14:28 going to get I'm get a little desktop
1:14:30 mono monopod that I put the light on
1:14:32 those keys are shiny I know isn't that
1:14:34 funny it's like you can tell where I
1:14:36 type a lot that's obviously where I hit
1:14:37 my space bar with my right hand the left
1:14:41 thumb isn't getting any
1:14:46 action okay um so online screen
1:14:50 screenplay
1:14:52 Factory Studio binder see these these
1:14:55 are all just [ __ ] sales funnel
1:14:57 [ __ ] sites okay um oh there's an edu
1:15:01 wait screenplay the foundations of oh
1:15:04 that's Sid
1:15:17 field using a lazy Susan for his laptop
1:15:20 you damn right I am if it ain't broke
1:15:23 upgrade
1:15:24 nice uh all grown up before our eyes
1:15:27 those keys are so shiny oh you
1:15:34 fancy all right let's go see let's see
1:15:37 50 screen plays to read and
1:15:40 download Script Pro are these actually
1:15:44 free though you
1:15:48 [ __ ] start the quiz see this is this
1:15:52 is this is my [ __ ] frustration man
1:15:54 everything's a [ __ ] sales
1:15:57 funnel I just want
1:16:00 like free screen place online
1:16:07 pdf
1:16:09 uh daily
1:16:13 script 50 genre screen plays to download
1:16:17 for
1:16:22 free
1:16:31 I don't get where's the
1:16:35 link fullest of free screen plays click
1:16:38 here to
1:16:46 download the Big Sleep bodyguard do are
1:16:50 these actually the PDFs they are yay
1:16:53 okay okay good
1:16:58 Lord okay so I'm going to grab this URL
1:17:04 this is going to go in our document so
1:17:06 see this is how this going to work as we
1:17:08 discover [ __ ] we're going to put it in
1:17:10 the document so it sucks
1:17:13 less oh look and Vicki's already labeled
1:17:16 it boom Oh wait hang
1:17:18 on Apple is now doing weird things with
1:17:21 links where if you just paste them it P
1:17:23 Tes the preview and hyperlinks it but
1:17:26 doesn't give you the actual
1:17:28 URL okay so I'm going to I'm going to be
1:17:33 experimenting with this with three of my
1:17:35 screen
1:17:36 plays and you can you can either
1:17:41 just make [ __ ] up like have Story vine
1:17:44 right cuz CU so here's what I'm going to
1:17:46 do I'm going to start with a fulllength
1:17:48 screenplay and then I'm going to sort of
1:17:50 distill it
1:17:51 down and do things like like Hollywood
1:17:54 log lines and you know character lists
1:17:57 and and things like that so so you could
1:17:59 just be generating that stuff in chat
1:18:01 GPT or you can go grab a screenplay from
1:18:05 one of these other places I could
1:18:10 also now you know what I'm not g I was
1:18:14 going to say I could upload my
1:18:15 screenplays the problem with that
1:18:18 is all three of them that I'm going to
1:18:21 be doing this with I wrote with Brian
1:18:23 dyes I wrote with another writer so I
1:18:25 don't think that's I don't think that's
1:18:26 fair to him to put that out there um cuz
1:18:29 these still could be commercially used
1:18:30 okay
1:18:33 so so anyway so if you want to play
1:18:38 along um and you want to do it with a
1:18:40 screenplay go do it with a screenplay
1:18:41 you could also do this with a novel you
1:18:44 could also do this with a short story
1:18:46 you wrote you could also do this if if
1:18:48 you've got you know something you wrote
1:18:51 um it doesn't have to be complete um I'm
1:18:54 I'm going to be starting very small I'm
1:18:56 going to start with um um with things
1:19:00 like
1:19:02 uh like a 15-second video teaser of the
1:19:06 screenplay or of the movie um and then
1:19:09 we'll go make that video and then I'm
1:19:12 going to do that for three different
1:19:13 screen
1:19:15 plays
1:19:17 and and then I'm going to pick one of
1:19:20 the screen plays and we're going to go
1:19:21 dive deeper with it so so that's kind of
1:19:25 kind of going to be the process
1:19:29 okay all right search for free
1:19:31 screenplay examples
1:19:34 perfect so let's go to chat
1:19:44 GPT and actually before I do that I'm
1:19:47 going to go
1:19:49 to let me find fight
1:19:52 game
1:20:01 got to spell it right
1:20:10 apparently do I have a PDF in
1:20:14 here all of my all of my old screenplays
1:20:17 are so old they're they're in a version
1:20:20 of Microsoft Word that is so [ __ ] up
1:20:24 that like it's so old that the file type
1:20:28 my system has assigned it to is Adobe
1:20:31 Illustrator which is really [ __ ]
1:20:35 up
1:20:40 um fight game text all right that's good
1:20:52 but
1:20:53 that's not
1:20:56 formatted I thought I had one
1:21:00 as there's
1:21:15 RTF minute left Buffalo just looks like
1:21:19 they intercepted
1:21:21 yeah with the minute left they're up
1:21:23 2114 it looked like Miami was going to
1:21:26 do something there but it looks like
1:21:29 Buffalo is going to win this one it
1:21:31 looks like that um all right let me see
1:21:34 if I can open this
1:21:42 with
1:21:45 pages I
1:21:49 can okay so we're going to export this
1:21:54 as a
1:22:03 PDF all right so I'm going to go new
1:22:06 folder we're going to call this
1:22:09 Hollywood in a
1:22:13 box and I'll do AI l in case I sometime
1:22:18 in the future wonder what the [ __ ] that
1:22:19 project
1:22:21 was and so I'm going to say uh and we'll
1:22:24 say new folder
1:22:27 um
1:22:29 screenplay
1:22:32 PDFs so I'm going to throw fight game in
1:22:40 there and
1:22:43 then let's see writing screen plays and
1:22:47 then I'm going to go in here and go I
1:22:50 would do so I've got a a b slasher flick
1:22:53 called amaz zombies which I I really
1:22:55 want to do but I think because of Tik
1:22:59 Tok the artwork that's going to be
1:23:02 created for amaz zombies is going to be
1:23:04 [ __ ] hilarious but I think it's going
1:23:06 to get me booted off of stupid Tik Tock
1:23:09 so I'm I am having to not do amaz
1:23:12 zombies which is pissing me off but
1:23:14 whatever
1:23:16 okay look these are all the screenplays
1:23:18 I I finished seven so if if you want to
1:23:21 get a sense of ADD
1:23:23 I finished seven screen plays look at
1:23:26 all the folders in
1:23:28 there those are all started ones okay
1:23:30 here's
1:23:31 virtue
1:23:33 so let's see virtue okay there's the pdf
1:23:36 version let me go find
1:23:38 my folder that I just
1:23:44 made all right we're going to put virtue
1:23:47 in there and then the other one is
1:23:49 salmon flying
1:23:51 East
1:23:53 which is
1:24:00 salmon
1:24:06 where
1:24:07 salmon name contains salmon didn't I do
1:24:18 a that's Microsoft
1:24:21 Word
1:24:25 final 2114
1:24:27 Buffalo for those of you that give a
1:24:29 [ __ ] about that
1:24:34 nonsense can't be opened right now oh my
1:24:37 God okay oh you want to see something
1:24:39 fun here here this was something I
1:24:40 learned
1:24:42 today so I've got a read only version of
1:24:46 Microsoft Word so I can't save from
1:24:50 this what's going on here
1:24:57 all right so there's s there's samon
1:24:59 flying East in Microsoft Word um I can't
1:25:03 save it I can't export it a subscription
1:25:06 is required to edit and save but what I
1:25:08 can do is I can print
1:25:10 it and then I can say save as
1:25:14 PDF you [ __ ] just let me save
1:25:17 my stupid screenplay in some old ancient
1:25:22 version of Microsoft
1:25:24 Word Sam flyy screenplay okay all right
1:25:28 so now I've
1:25:31 got now I've got my three screen plays
1:25:35 so this is going to be where we're going
1:25:37 to host every or house
1:25:39 everything and some of this stuff as as
1:25:41 we do this some of this stuff I'll be
1:25:43 popping over to the other document
1:25:46 okay so let's go back to here so here we
1:25:50 are at chat gp4 what time is it it's
1:25:53 9:25 let
1:25:58 me let me take a break I'll be right
1:26:02 back let's
1:26:05 see there you
1:26:07 go I'll be back I have to go to the
1:26:10 bathroom I'll be right
1:26:21 back
1:26:51 e
1:27:21 e
1:27:39 all right I'm back I'm back how excited
1:27:43 are you that I'm back
1:27:48 um so I did want to share something um I
1:27:52 was thinking about this earlier hang on
1:27:55 let me let me
1:28:00 flip let's go with the AI learning lab
1:28:04 BLB let me Flip This
1:28:09 D I'll do this all right beautiful um I
1:28:14 wanted to share something this was this
1:28:16 is kind of a mental health anxiety thing
1:28:18 I wanted to share earlier that I forgot
1:28:21 about cuz thank
1:28:23 ad
1:28:25 um so I was thinking about doing this
1:28:29 today
1:28:33 and one of the one of the reasons I've
1:28:36 been hesitating starting
1:28:39 this is that I don't know what I'm
1:28:43 doing and I don't want to look bad and
1:28:46 and I've kind of based this entire
1:28:49 [ __ ] channel
1:28:51 on being willing to take the risk to not
1:28:55 know [ __ ] right but I had a lot of
1:28:58 anxiety today because as I was going to
1:29:01 do this I'm like well I don't I don't
1:29:03 know how to do this and maybe I don't
1:29:04 know how to you know use iMovie as good
1:29:08 as I should and I've got a video company
1:29:10 and if I have a video company and people
1:29:12 see that I don't know how to use iMovie
1:29:13 really good then they're going to think
1:29:14 I'm a big fat dumb
1:29:16 Dum
1:29:18 and and then I took a nap
1:29:24 cuz it cuz it was like like my anxiety
1:29:26 was bad and then I took a nap and I woke
1:29:28 up from the nap with like you know a
1:29:30 knot in my
1:29:32 stomach and then I was just like [ __ ]
1:29:35 it so you look like an
1:29:38 idiot hey Kyle check out show and tell
1:29:40 on Mighty
1:29:41 networks um I just wanted to share that
1:29:45 because one of the things about anxiety
1:29:48 is if you just keep it in your [ __ ]
1:29:50 head it gets worse and if you speak it
1:29:54 it it it takes its power away um but
1:29:58 it's also it's just like a like it's
1:29:59 just a human thing and I think when
1:30:01 you're when you're neur neurod Divergent
1:30:04 sometimes you know I listen I think
1:30:07 everybody's got anxiety I think
1:30:08 everybody's got this thing about you
1:30:10 know um how am I looking And you know am
1:30:15 I you know am am I going to be judged
1:30:18 and uh so anyway I just wanted to share
1:30:21 that I went through that
1:30:24 and am kind of going through that
1:30:26 because this is going about as well as I
1:30:29 thought it would which
1:30:30 is this got to be insufferable to be
1:30:33 watching there's still 93 three people
1:30:36 here we're not down to seven so um this
1:30:40 will get more interesting I I do promise
1:30:42 that and
1:30:44 and normally what I would do here is I
1:30:47 would just do the immediate
1:30:48 gratification thing of just grab a file
1:30:51 put it in chat GPT do the thing and then
1:30:54 if you caught it you caught it and if
1:30:55 you didn't you didn't so I'm like trying
1:30:57 to actually document this that's not
1:31:00 normal for me so um so it's very much
1:31:02 out of my comfort zone so just know that
1:31:05 that's kind of what's been going on for
1:31:08 me all right new
1:31:12 activity oh that's a beautiful one
1:31:15 damn Ann Murphy that's cool what's the
1:31:19 what was the inspiration for that other
1:31:21 than just oh [ __ ]
1:31:25 awesome
1:31:27 better irial than
1:31:36 irat more Hollywood in the box like it
1:31:39 thank you Emilio's wife let's make a
1:31:42 GPT
1:31:43 nice game show stage very cool better IR
1:31:48 oh my God irregular and irrelevant it
1:31:51 hates those words
1:32:00 erl these are
1:32:02 awesome I I I'm telling you I actually
1:32:05 love that these are all this

1:32:37 revent oh that one's so
1:32:41 close I love that artwork though wait
1:32:44 what's that say Kyle I have severe
1:32:47 anxiety and impostor syndrome is a major
1:32:49 thing yeah it's it's a major thing and
1:32:51 it's it's you know what's funny lunatick
1:32:54 is and and you know you you and I
1:32:57 probably share this where it's
1:33:00 like neither of us probably have any
1:33:02 right to have impostor syndrome like
1:33:04 we're doing fine right like we've got
1:33:07 talent we can produce stuff we're
1:33:10 competent but it's just there it's just
1:33:12 something that's there and it's
1:33:13 something that you deal with
1:33:16 and and um it's it's really Insidious
1:33:20 cuz you think you have it licked and and
1:33:22 you you sort of carve out a little piece
1:33:24 of your life or you're like okay I feel
1:33:25 confident here and you're good and then
1:33:27 you literally take sort of one step to
1:33:29 the left and it's like
1:33:31 Panic it's back you suck everyone's
1:33:34 judging you you're a horrible person and
1:33:36 they're all going to know it's just it's
1:33:39 just amazing
1:33:41 so
1:33:43 um there is there is uh it's good to
1:33:47 know everyone everyone deals with this
1:33:50 oh Amazonian zombie oh oh it's an amazom
1:33:53 be oh that's really good oh that's
1:33:55 perfect yeah so the plot the plot of
1:33:58 amazom bees by the way is uh a group of
1:34:01 archaeologists discover an island um
1:34:06 full of un undead women
1:34:09 that I can't even talk about it it's
1:34:12 [ __ ] hilarious I can't I'm afraid I'm
1:34:15 afraid to talk about it because I think
1:34:17 it might shut down the channel
1:34:20 but one of the nice things about Amazon
1:34:23 bees that we did I probably still have
1:34:25 it somewhere I don't think it's
1:34:29 here we did we we got Barbie dolls and
1:34:33 we we dressed them as amaz zombies and
1:34:36 we put them in these plastic tubes and
1:34:37 we sent them to film producers and we
1:34:39 got we got some of the coolest we got um
1:34:44 rejection letters from film producers
1:34:46 that was like we're like we're not going
1:34:48 to do anything with your film but this
1:34:49 is the best gift I've ever gotten for a
1:34:52 screenplay cuz it was it was a Barbie
1:34:54 dressed as an amaz zombie she had blood
1:34:56 blood going down her mouth and um it's
1:34:59 really good neurod Divergence coupled
1:35:02 with trauma and just being a modern
1:35:03 human equals constant G I know exactly I
1:35:07 know I know it sucks but but uh I don't
1:35:12 know that's why I wanted to to say it
1:35:13 out loud because I was I was thinking
1:35:15 about that before I got on it's just
1:35:16 like [ __ ] it I'm just going to do this
1:35:18 and then I'll talk about it then I
1:35:19 forgot to talk about it so all right
1:35:22 these things look great okay so let's
1:35:26 get back to the
1:35:28 show download a script save to a
1:35:30 separate folder on your hard drive oh
1:35:31 this is great Vicki this is awesome
1:35:34 okay all right so now let's go to chat
1:35:36 jie
1:35:40 Tha and and you
1:35:44 know well you you're you're good at this
1:35:48 stuff Vicki I was just going to say like
1:35:50 as we go through this like I'm going to
1:35:51 do a lot of stuff that's probably just
1:35:53 going to be throwa away stuff so we
1:35:55 don't need to document every every
1:35:56 single step because there's going to be
1:35:57 some of it that's garbage so I'll try to
1:36:00 it it should be clear when I get to
1:36:02 something that we're going to use then
1:36:04 it probably makes sense to figure out
1:36:05 how we got there um but I'll let I'll
1:36:09 let you if if you're willing to do this
1:36:10 I'll let you do it any way you want um
1:36:13 because you're really good at this
1:36:14 okay so we're going to go to chat
1:36:20 JP
1:36:23 [Music]
1:36:30 all
1:36:35 right so salmon flying East fight game
1:36:39 and
1:36:45 virtue all right I'll put it out to you
1:36:47 guys which one should I start with so
1:36:50 salmon flying East uh psychological
1:36:55 drama uh
1:36:57 about a guy's past fight game boxing
1:37:01 film where one of the fighters gets
1:37:04 killed in the ring the other fighter
1:37:06 goes up for murder and virtue sci-fi
1:37:11 thriller um like born identity where a
1:37:13 cop is framed for the murder of his
1:37:16 partner and it turns out he actually did
1:37:19 The Killing but he's got an alibi
1:37:23 he was experiencing someone
1:37:26 else's um existence when he killed his
1:37:30 partner he actually didn't he actually
1:37:32 didn't kill his partner his body
1:37:36 did all right which which one of those
1:37:38 do we want to start
1:37:41 with
1:37:43 virtue Tech doc speak to the most
1:37:45 inexperienced users oh yeah that's a
1:37:48 good point I was looking at Studio
1:37:50 binder and it was pretty packed with
1:37:52 existing scripts okay cool yeah if
1:37:54 that's a good site great thanks for
1:37:56 sharing about the anxiety understand
1:37:58 completely Cosmic lover cool
1:38:00 awesome glad that is a good thing time
1:38:05 travel oh I like that one the cop one
1:38:06 the last one virtue virtue fight game so
1:38:09 we got one fight game four
1:38:11 virtues all right looks like we're going
1:38:13 sci-fi all right we're going
1:38:17 virtue
1:38:20 okay
1:38:31 so here's where and and this is where
1:38:35 where where I think this could be
1:38:36 interesting for you to do this with with
1:38:39 some other
1:38:40 screenplay um what might be good is pick
1:38:42 a screenplay of a film you don't know
1:38:45 you could also do it with one you do
1:38:47 know because then you'll be able to
1:38:50 experience like what it gets right what
1:38:52 it gets wrong but if you if you choose a
1:38:54 screenplay that you don't know part of
1:38:57 what I'm going to try to discover here
1:38:59 even though I wrote These screenplays it
1:39:01 was 30 years ago virtue in particular
1:39:04 this one in particular has got a
1:39:07 fairly it's got a it's got a lot of plot
1:39:09 points in it and it moves really fast so
1:39:12 I've forgotten a lot of the plot details
1:39:14 with this so so part of my part of what
1:39:17 I want to do with this exercise is
1:39:21 understand what this document is
1:39:24 understand what the story is understand
1:39:27 what's possible understand who the
1:39:28 characters
1:39:29 are and then brainstorm with chat GPT
1:39:34 around how we might want to bring that
1:39:35 to
1:39:36 life and
1:39:38 then when we start bringing it to life
1:39:40 we're going to start visualizing it and
1:39:43 we'll probably do some of that along the
1:39:44 way but but where I want to get to with
1:39:47 this is that we'll figure out a good
1:39:50 process for taking a screenplay from I
1:39:54 don't know anything about this to a good
1:39:56 starting point and then from there we'll
1:39:59 do like a 15sec um video teaser and then
1:40:03 we'll do a full-on trailer and then we
1:40:06 may move into actually starting to
1:40:07 create scenes from the
1:40:10 movie um but again I'm going into this
1:40:13 totally blind like I I have zero agenda
1:40:16 other than I've [ __ ] around a little
1:40:18 bit with it all right my inclination
1:40:20 leaves to making a storyboard
1:40:23 first well and and so that that could
1:40:27 that could be a place we go Silver Fox
1:40:30 but how I'm thinking about it is we
1:40:34 rather than doing a
1:40:35 storyboard shop by shop for the whole
1:40:38 film that we we understand the story
1:40:41 first we understand the characters first
1:40:43 we pick a a style a look and feel and
1:40:46 then we do little mini versions of that
1:40:48 so if we start with a 15-second video
1:40:50 teaser
1:40:52 and and make
1:40:54 that storyboard that make that do the
1:40:57 videos get the background music do sound
1:41:00 effects do the titles for a 15sec
1:41:04 thing we can get there a lot faster and
1:41:07 then and then if we if we like it then
1:41:08 we can go to a full trailer so what I'm
1:41:11 where my head is right now is we end up
1:41:12 creating three full trailers for each
1:41:15 screenplay and then we put those out in
1:41:17 the
1:41:18 world and and then pick the one you know
1:41:21 let's see which one resonates and then
1:41:23 we start producing that
1:41:26 [Laughter]
1:41:31 film um I'm super visual but know
1:41:34 nothing about the story so synopsis to
1:41:36 storyboard yeah yep okay cool Mr K all
1:41:40 day what's happening Mr K I have to go
1:41:44 to bed but I just posted in Show and
1:41:46 Tell pretty cool use case okay cool
1:41:49 awesome let me go look in show and tell
1:41:52 new
1:41:54 activity
1:41:56 oh source Camp better irregular than
1:42:01 revant so close I love the image though
1:42:06 Mr
1:42:08 K AI video teachers how could you use
1:42:11 this what's this oh this is use of inv
1:42:15 video and chat jp4 to make an article
1:42:17 make a script then create a video fully
1:42:20 edited for me and like 10 minutes
1:42:22 because my Internet is slow imagine what
1:42:24 businesses and
1:42:28 other other Educators can do with this
1:42:31 let me know how you can utilize
1:42:32 something like this that's super
1:42:37 cool into something that fascinates and
1:42:40 concerns me as we step further into the
1:42:42 digital age it's about our newest
1:42:44 generation generation Alpha and how the
1:42:47 omnipresence of technology is shaping
1:42:49 their future imagine being being born
1:42:51 into a world where technology isn't just
1:42:53 around you super cool I mean this is
1:42:57 well this is why we're doing this
1:42:58 exercise this is why we're doing this
1:43:00 exercise because it's
1:43:03 like we are we we are really not that
1:43:06 far from being able to do feature films
1:43:14 casually uh Moon valley. a we might use
1:43:17 that I I'll probably play around with
1:43:18 different things Pika right now is free
1:43:21 so I'm going to try to do things that
1:43:23 are free the other thing I got to do
1:43:25 here you know what I need to do
1:43:27 people no Kyle
1:43:29 look Let's see we can do this with a
1:43:32 blandon's
1:43:35 bag um how am I going to do this do I
1:43:41 have oh that could
1:43:48 work oh please oh we might need tape do
1:43:51 I do I have tape I do have tape okay
1:43:54 it's hard to read the the letters on the
1:43:56 shiny Keys p p pointed out the shiny
1:43:59 Keys it's hard to read the letters on
1:44:02 them or the the comments so let
1:44:05 me we're going to take our blandon's bag
1:44:09 and it's going to serve as a
1:44:11 little going to be a little
1:44:15 helper all
1:44:19 right that seems like a janky solution
1:44:21 to
1:44:22 a all right beautiful beautiful janky
1:44:26 solution
1:44:28 okay and and it's a big ad for
1:44:32 blantons all right P moderate gotta go
1:44:35 set that SEO Mr K day is that the
1:44:38 reasoning never knew product placement
1:44:42 exactly um P just sent out an email
1:44:45 about a paid tier I believe yeah I'm
1:44:46 sure yeah cuz cuz P has been giving away
1:44:49 their their video rendering [ __ ] for
1:44:51 free and everything else is like a
1:44:52 dollar a minute so it's like it's like
1:44:56 they're going to have to start charging
1:44:57 at some
1:45:01 point how will you type I
1:45:05 have a Bluetooth
1:45:12 keyboard down
1:45:15 below okay
1:45:18 so so what we're going to do here
1:45:23 here is I just want to start out with so
1:45:25 I'm going to give it a
1:45:27 little oh you know what I need I do need
1:45:29 access to my F5 wait does this F F5
1:45:35 work
1:45:36 no does this
1:45:42 one act as a Hollywood
1:45:48 executive who specializes in producing
1:45:53 award-winning Blockbuster
1:45:56 films
1:46:04 period Please
1:46:06 write a thre
1:46:13 paragraph coverage of this
1:46:18 screenplay that
1:46:22 summarizes the
1:46:26 story in a compelling
1:46:29 way all
1:46:31 right so I just want to kind of figure
1:46:34 out what's what's in this document like
1:46:36 what what do we have
1:46:38 here and spoiler alert we're you're
1:46:42 going to know how this thing ends soon
1:46:44 sooner
1:46:46 than you're not going to have to wait
1:46:48 until we make the film to to know the
1:46:50 end
1:46:51 ending virt is a gripping screenplay
1:46:54 that intertwines the worlds of high
1:46:56 stakes polit high high stake
1:46:59 politics Advanced scientific research
1:47:01 and gritty realities of police work the
1:47:03 story centers around detective Tony
1:47:05 Mullen who finds himself embroiled in a
1:47:07 complex web of murder conspiracy and
1:47:10 betrayal following the death of his
1:47:12 partner as Tony delves deeper he
1:47:14 uncovers connections to a mysterious
1:47:16 organization known as virtue Tech where
1:47:19 advanced technology and political
1:47:20 Ambitions converge The Narrative is
1:47:23 marked by intense action moral dilemmas
1:47:25 and a Relentless quest for the truth
1:47:28 culminating in a high octane climax that
1:47:32 challenges the very fabric of power and
1:47:34 Corruption okay that's good that's
1:47:40 right
1:47:46 um so what do we want to do here um
1:47:52 [Music]
1:47:57 rewrite that as a sexy Hollywood
1:48:01 elevator
1:48:05 pitch that is three concise
1:48:13 sentences virtue is a high octane
1:48:15 Thriller where cuttingedge Tech meets
1:48:18 deep-seated political Intrigue that's
1:48:20 good
1:48:21 follow detective Tony Mullen as he
1:48:23 unravels a Sinister
1:48:26 conspiracy threading through the
1:48:28 corridors of power and the gritty
1:48:30 underworld it's a gripping tale of
1:48:32 betrayal murder and the Relentless
1:48:34 Pursuit Of Truth set against the
1:48:36 backdrop of technological advancement
1:48:38 and moral amb
1:48:49 ambiguity incorp orate the
1:48:52 classic movie A meets movie
1:48:56 B into this elevator
1:49:01 pitch putting in the
1:49:04 appropriate
1:49:07 films to make it easy to understand the
1:49:11 kind of movie this
1:49:16 is virtue is like Blade Runner meets La
1:49:20 confidence IAL that's kind of cool and I
1:49:22 actually what's cool about La
1:49:23 confidentials both of those bring really
1:49:27 strong like visual ideas right virtue is
1:49:32 like Blade Runner meets LA Confidential
1:49:35 a future a fusion of futuristic
1:49:37 technology in classic Noir detective
1:49:39 Tony mullen's journey through a web of
1:49:41 political conspiracy and myy M mdy
1:49:45 murder
1:49:46 Echoes the gritty morally ambiguous
1:49:49 world of LA Confidential IAL wait of LA
1:49:51 Confidential while the Advanced
1:49:52 Technologies oh okay
1:49:58 um you only need to mention the other
1:50:02 movies once period you don't need to
1:50:05 build the entire thing around the plots
1:50:07 of those other movies just establish the
1:50:11 tone with the other movies and then
1:50:14 write the concise elevator pitch for ver
1:50:19 virtue
1:50:23 virtue combines the futuristic Allure of
1:50:25 Blade Runner with the gritty crime drama
1:50:27 of LA Confidential in this high stakes
1:50:29 Thriller detective Tony Mullen navigates
1:50:32 a maze of political Intrigue and
1:50:34 advanced technology uncovering a deep
1:50:36 conspiracy that challenges his own moral
1:50:39 compass the screenplay offers a riveting
1:50:41 blend of tech driven suspense and
1:50:43 classic newr storytelling that's good
1:50:46 how will you type oh okay wait it works
1:50:49 okay let's see noir films both yeah
1:50:52 exactly will it be a Tor of force
1:50:57 though uh thank you I've been planning
1:50:59 to mail you a sheet of black paper for
1:51:02 the
1:51:04 keyboard that's hilarious yeah I need
1:51:07 you know what I need is I need a sheet
1:51:09 of of black construction paper from like
1:51:11 an elementary school maybe maybe Mr K's
1:51:14 got some laying around he could he can
1:51:15 send me some some construction paper
1:51:18 Okay um only pea is definitely down in
1:51:21 Discord oh I see okay Moon Valley is
1:51:24 free long videos is 5 Seconds yay okay
1:51:27 cool oh great great Rudy okay Moon
1:51:29 Valley is free and does 5 Seconds now
1:51:32 Rudy I don't know if you knew this but
1:51:34 um all so um Runway does it paa does it
1:51:40 and I think uh Leonardo doai does it all
1:51:44 of them you can extend the 4 second
1:51:46 video like four times so you can extend
1:51:49 you can make videos up up to like 12
1:51:51 seconds long so I don't know if you knew
1:51:52 that you have to watch the
1:51:55 language or Tik Tok will
1:51:57 ban oh un alive instead of other words
1:52:00 oh okay all right whatever I like I it's
1:52:04 it's unbelievable but okay which which
1:52:06 that's why I'm not doing amaz zombies so
1:52:08 okay so I'm going to copy
1:52:12 this and then I don't know what you want
1:52:14 to say Vicky about where this goes let
1:52:17 me see what you got going here so far
1:52:19 prompt okay great
1:52:23 so so here's
1:52:26 the
1:52:27 um let's see
1:52:30 elevator pitch for
1:52:49 virtue
1:52:58 oops
1:53:00 okay there we go elevator pitch for
1:53:02 virtue okay
1:53:04 so now now so here's another thing that
1:53:08 we're going to have to we're going to
1:53:09 have to come
1:53:12 back let let me talk about why I'm I'm
1:53:14 doing what I'm doing never tried
1:53:16 Leonardo thank you yeah give Leonardo a
1:53:18 try cuz it's it's uh Le Ardo is based on
1:53:21 um stable video diffusion which they
1:53:24 released like a month
1:53:27 ago all right I'll try to be careful
1:53:29 with the it's I mean how do you well I
1:53:32 guess you just don't do it on Tik Tok I
1:53:35 like I'm trying to figure out like how
1:53:37 do we how do we do how do we talk about
1:53:40 a film that's got you know banned words
1:53:44 in it I guess we'll just have to talk
1:53:45 around them all
1:53:47 right um the reason the the reason I'm
1:53:51 going through this exercise of you know
1:53:53 I tell it to act as a Hollywood
1:53:55 executive and then we're getting the
1:53:57 this description and then we're
1:53:58 tightening it up and we're saying
1:54:03 this I don't want to just jump into
1:54:05 saying hey write a synopsis of the like
1:54:08 write a write a trailer for this movie
1:54:11 and then we immediately start making
1:54:13 images like I want chat GPT to have the
1:54:17 context not only of the script that's in
1:54:19 there but of the things that we're
1:54:21 choosing yeah this sounds right that
1:54:23 sounds right so that by the time we get
1:54:25 to writing trailers or or video teasers
1:54:30 or whatever it might be that that it
1:54:32 kind of understands what we're going for
1:54:35 so what I'm going to say here
1:54:38 is yeah that's terrific I like that a
1:54:41 lot
1:54:44 period now can you
1:54:48 create a one to two
1:55:00 page
1:55:02 coverage of the
1:55:05 screenplay that
1:55:07 starts with the elevator
1:55:15 pitch and
1:55:17 has a paragraph or
1:55:20 two per Act of the
1:55:25 story let's see how it
1:55:35 does so it basically just told me I
1:55:37 can't do
1:55:39 that it's basically saying write it
1:55:44 yourself screwed you I'm going say try
1:55:49 again
1:55:52 now it's reading the
1:55:55 document what an [ __ ] just goes It
1:55:58 goes It goes I'm sorry I can't provide
1:56:01 detailed coverage of the screenplay as
1:56:03 it exceeds the length limits for Content
1:56:05 summarization however I can offer
1:56:08 guidance on how you might structure such
1:56:09 a coverage write it yourself you stupid
1:56:12 [ __ ]
1:56:13 [Laughter]
1:56:18 human um
1:56:26 so virtue merges
1:56:31 okay The Story begins with Detective
1:56:33 Tony Mullen grappling with the
1:56:35 mysterious death of his partner his
1:56:37 investigation leads him to Virtue
1:56:39 Tech a corporation at the Forefront of
1:56:42 technological advancement as Tony delves
1:56:44 deeper he uncovers layers of corruption
1:56:46 and deceit realizing the case is much
1:56:49 more than a simple murder the ACT sets
1:56:51 up the intricate world of virtue
1:56:54 introducing key characters in the
1:56:55 central conflict Act Two Tony's Journey
1:56:58 Into the Heart of virtue Tech reveals a
1:57:01 complex plot involving political
1:57:04 manipulation and advanced technology as
1:57:06 he gets closer to the truth he faces
1:57:08 both external dangers and internal
1:57:11 ethical
1:57:12 dilemmas this act heightens the
1:57:17 suspense the climax is a high Showdown
1:57:20 where Tony must use all of his wits and
1:57:23 courage to expose the conspiracy the
1:57:25 resolution is both thrilling and
1:57:28 thought-provoking leaving the audience
1:57:30 questioning the
1:57:32 implications of technological power and
1:57:34 moral
1:57:35 ambiguity the ACT concludes with the
1:57:38 narrative Arc satisfyingly providing
1:57:40 closure to the story while leaving room
1:57:43 for potential continuation yeah man this
1:57:46 is a
1:57:47 franchise we're not we're not going to
1:57:49 button this thing up this is a franchise
1:57:51 baby all right
1:57:54 um that's kind of crappy and ambiguous
1:58:00 um please
1:58:02 expand the summarization to include more
1:58:06 detail in each
1:58:10 Act and don't be
1:58:15 so
1:58:18 kg with reveal in plot
1:58:38 points oh my
1:58:41 God just gave me that error again try
1:58:48 again
1:59:04 all right
1:59:07 um please give
1:59:18 me
1:59:20 the major plot points for act
1:59:27 one with a paragraph per plot
1:59:31 Point
1:59:44 period this this was also my my fear of
1:59:47 doing something not just like like on
1:59:50 the Fly is that we we could end up
1:59:53 spending you know 15 20 30 minutes just
1:59:56 running down nonfertile rabbit
2:00:01 holes all right act one the murder of
2:00:04 Tony mullen's partner the story starts
2:00:06 with the murder of Tony's partner Lenny
2:00:08 DWI setting the stage for the
2:00:10 investigation introduction to Virtue
2:00:12 Tech Tony's investigation leads him to
2:00:14 Virtue Tech hinting at the involvement
2:00:16 of advanced technology in the plot
2:00:19 discovery of political ties as Tony digs
2:00:21 deeper he uncovers the ties between
2:00:23 murder and political figures adding
2:00:24 layers of complexity to the plot
2:00:27 personal struggle Tony grapples with
2:00:29 personal issues including dealing with
2:00:32 the pain of loss and confronting his own
2:00:36 demons all right let's
2:00:39 say do the same for Act 2 and
2:00:48 three
2:00:52 okay it didn't do it oh my God this is
2:00:54 so
2:00:59 frustrating please give me the major
2:01:01 plot points for act two just as you did
2:01:04 for Act
2:01:11 One deepening investigation confronting
2:01:14 ethical dilemmas increasing danger and
2:01:18 intrigue
2:01:22 H this is so
2:01:23 frustrating please read the
2:01:26 screenplay and give me a detailed
2:01:29 breakdown of the plot points of act two
2:01:32 of the entire
2:01:36 [Laughter]
2:01:48 screenplay
2:01:58 for a detailed breakdown of the plot
2:02:00 points you may refer directly to the
2:02:03 screenplay this is [ __ ] maddening
2:02:06 this is so so here's something that
2:02:08 we're dealing with right
2:02:13 now all of these large language models
2:02:16 are remarkably good at get getting you
2:02:19 to like 80% of what you want and then
2:02:22 getting from 80% to 100% is like
2:02:25 smashing your face against the
2:02:28 wall that's what we're experiencing
2:02:31 where like it after some Kolling it did
2:02:36 what I wanted for plot for act one and
2:02:39 now it doesn't seem to understand what
2:02:40 the hell it did or how to do
2:02:48 it so I'm going to bail on this I'm
2:02:50 going to bail on
2:02:59 this because ultimately what I want to
2:03:01 get to is I want to get
2:03:16 to I want to get to a visual Style and I
2:03:19 want to get to a short
2:03:22 synopsis like like a like a a trailer or
2:03:25 a teaser I want to start with like a 15
2:03:27 to 20 second
2:03:29 teaser so maybe what we do is I'm going
2:03:32 to shift right now to go to visual
2:03:41 style and maybe character
2:03:44 breakdowns
2:03:46 H this is interesting I mean this is
2:04:00 this is this is one of the challenge
2:04:03 with with with tools that can
2:04:07 do with tools that can do so much it's
2:04:11 really easy to get lost in like well
2:04:13 what should I do I could do this and I
2:04:15 could do that and I could do that
2:04:17 like it's a little par izing for an ADHD
2:04:20 brain because it's like there's too many
2:04:22 possibilities but here but here's what
2:04:24 we're going to
2:04:26 do I'd like to change
2:04:30 gears
2:04:48 and
2:04:50 have you described the aesthetic look
2:04:53 and feel of the film
2:04:56 period you
2:04:59 wrote
2:05:02 that
2:05:04 virtue shares elements of Blade Runner
2:05:08 and LA Confidential
2:05:12 period please
2:05:15 take the core story elements of virtue
2:05:19 and describe the look and feel of the
2:05:23 film from a
2:05:26 cinematography and art Direction
2:05:36 standpoint the aesthetic look and feel
2:05:38 of virtue would blend the futuristic
2:05:40 neonlit visuals of Blade
2:05:43 Runner with the shadowy atmospheric
2:05:45 tones of LA Confidential the
2:05:47 cinematography would leverage Stark cont
2:05:49 of Deep Shadows evoking a sense of
2:05:52 mystery and tension thick rain slick
2:05:55 streets Moody lighting and color palette
2:05:57 with Rich blues and darks
2:06:00 okay this I like so wait let me go give
2:06:03 Vicky something so so we do
2:06:07 have we have a
2:06:13 version so here's act On's one two and
2:06:16 three I'm just going to grab these and
2:06:18 put them over in that dock
2:06:26 um create a one to two page coverage so
2:06:29 here let me do this
2:06:41 here all right you got that Vicki there
2:06:44 you go there's act one two and three
2:06:46 like I think that's the right area but
2:06:47 feel free to
2:06:50 okay so there's that and now let's go
2:06:52 grab because I really like this this
2:06:55 look and
2:06:59 feel the art direction would juxtapose
2:07:02 the Sleek high-tech element of virtue
2:07:04 Tech World against the gritty Urban
2:07:06 landscape of Tony mullen's investigation
2:07:09 creating a visually compelling backdrop
2:07:11 see that's really
2:07:13 good
2:07:16 okay so let me just go drop this down in
2:07:20 the visual
2:07:22 style oops
2:07:25 sorry I just blasted Vicky's word in
2:07:31 half
2:07:41 oops there we
2:07:44 go okay so that's good okay so now so so
2:07:48 now when I'm I'm going to say
2:07:51 is okay
2:07:53 perfect now
2:07:57 describe five of the key
2:08:04 scenes that are in Tony mullen's
2:08:08 gritty in investigation world and five
2:08:16 scenes that are in the Sleek
2:08:21 high-tech elements
2:08:25 of virtue Tech
2:08:27 period the scenes that you
2:08:31 choose to
2:08:33 describe should represent the most
2:08:37 important plot elements from each of
2:08:41 those two
2:08:44 visual areas of the
2:08:46 film I don't even know if that's good
2:08:49 [Laughter]
2:08:56 English the crime
2:09:17 scene okay so
2:09:21 let's let's do a little
2:09:36 visualization quick
2:09:39 question other than 16 by 9 what are the
2:09:42 other aspect ratios that are common in
2:09:46 film
2:09:47 making
2:09:52 185 to one
2:10:06 okay okay great I'd like you to
2:10:15 create
2:10:17 visualizations
2:10:19 from film
2:10:22 Stills
2:10:26 for number three in the gritty
2:10:29 investigation world
2:10:36 and number
2:10:38 two in the Sleek high-tech world of
2:10:41 virtue
2:10:47 Tech
2:10:55 the still should be in y
2:10:59 15 God damn the still should be
2:11:04 in 185
2:11:07 to1 aspect
2:11:11 ratio all right let's see how it
2:11:15 does all
2:11:17 right
2:11:22 tell
2:11:23 it let's see tell it I know you're good
2:11:27 and can figure it out what I'm trying to
2:11:30 say please try again I know I yeah I got
2:11:32 to get better at at doing it like that
2:11:35 okay that's this is not the right
2:11:37 era no okay we're not it's not it's not
2:11:40 in the
2:11:41 50s oh my God okay
2:11:47 ah
2:11:51 and that looks totally generic and that
2:11:54 this this looks totally AI this this
2:11:56 sort of blue dude with the circles on it
2:11:59 this this is now one of those generic AI
2:12:01 things okay so we got to we got to fix
2:12:03 some stuff
2:12:05 here okay please reread the
2:12:09 film before making
2:12:11 images period the
2:12:14 gritty Street Scene should not be from
2:12:18 the the
2:12:19 1950s
2:12:21 since the era of this film is 10 to 20
2:12:26 years in the future from
2:12:32 2023 so please adjust your images
2:12:35 accordingly period
2:12:37 also the interior images at virtue
2:12:42 Tech should be more
2:12:45 cinematic and less fantasy sci-fi
2:12:49 period it should feel very realistic and
2:12:55 [Applause]
2:13:00 [Music]
2:13:01 intimidating and this is I think this is
2:13:03 going to be one of our challenges with
2:13:05 this like we we might need to go off to
2:13:08 Mid Journey we we might need to get chat
2:13:12 GPT to give us some descriptions of
2:13:15 styles
2:13:17 and
2:13:25 that's better but it doesn't really look
2:13:27 like a film it kind of looks like a
2:13:30 video
2:13:35 game that's better for virtue
2:13:47 Tech
2:13:49 the gritty seat Street Scene is looking
2:13:52 too
2:13:54 much like a neon video game period it
2:14:01 should more look like a
2:14:11 gritty
2:14:13 realistic scene even
2:14:17 though
2:14:22 the wet streets May reflect the lights
2:14:28 period it should be hyper
2:14:30 realistic and contrast with the
2:14:34 slick coldness of virtue
2:14:37 Tech period the color grading should
2:14:45 also visually contrast
2:14:49 from virtue Tech I don't know I don't
2:14:51 know I'm getting lost I'm getting lost
2:14:54 here people what about having it
2:14:57 describe the VIS visual Aesthetics that
2:14:59 would
2:15:02 represent
2:15:04 something to be fair how long ago you
2:15:08 wrote this the 1950s might have been the
2:15:10 future that that's mean Dr J that's so
2:15:17 mean
2:15:19 all right that's
2:15:21 better I don't why are we in
2:15:24 Tokyo good
2:15:28 Lord what city is the screenplay set in
2:15:32 question
2:15:40 mark oh it's in Los
2:15:43 Angeles
2:15:47 so
2:15:53 okay
2:15:54 redo that
2:15:56 image so that it looks more like La than
2:16:05 Tokyo did you adjust your custom
2:16:07 instructions I missed it if you did I
2:16:09 did
2:16:10 not I did
2:16:16 not remember chat GPT is a toddler in AI
2:16:20 years yeah I know I know I know I know
2:16:23 I'm not you know this this
2:16:35 is that's not
2:16:39 bad so if you have that image an updated
2:16:42 visualization futuristic Los
2:16:45 Angeles scene captures the essence of
2:16:47 the setting with subtle neon SIDS wet
2:16:50 Pavements reflect dim street lights
2:16:52 creating a realistic atmosphere
2:16:54 detective Tony Mullen is portrayed in
2:16:57 modern attire fitting okay that's
2:17:00 good and
2:17:01 then that cool blue let's
2:17:17 see
2:17:19 please write a script for a 20 second
2:17:23 video teaser
2:17:26 period a mini
2:17:30 trailer that
2:17:36 will Intrigue someone enough to want to
2:17:40 watch the full
2:17:41 trailer
2:17:46 period be sure to include clud
2:17:51 both visual
2:17:56 styles from the story as well
2:18:04 as an intriguing plot point or
2:18:08 two to bring the script to
2:18:12 life all right let's see if we can get
2:18:14 this the virtu teaser trailer script to
2:18:18 3 seconds aerial shot of futuristic Los
2:18:21 Angeles neon lit skyscrapers piercing
2:18:24 the night sky audio ominous pulsating
2:18:28 electronic music begins text overlay in
2:18:31 a city of
2:18:33 Lights 46 seconds Quick Cuts of
2:18:36 detective Tony Mullen walking through
2:18:37 the rain soaked streets neon Reflections
2:18:40 on the wet
2:18:41 ground so in a city of Lights lies a
2:18:44 dark Secret 7 to 10
2:18:47 seconds
2:18:48 intense closeup of Tony Tony's eyes then
2:18:51 cut to a shadowy figure passing a
2:18:54 mysterious envelope audio heartbeat
2:18:57 sound
2:19:00 intensifies text overlay one
2:19:04 detective flash of virtue Tech slick
2:19:07 high-tech lab with Scientists working on
2:19:10 advanced technology futuristic
2:19:12 mechanical sounds against the future
2:19:15 lies a dark secret one detective against
2:19:17 the Future Tony in a confrontation quick
2:19:21 flashes of action a chase a
2:19:24 struggle rapid suspenseful music
2:19:27 Crescendo the
2:19:32 truth so wait one detective against the
2:19:35 future the truth will change everything
2:19:37 screen goes black and reveals the film
2:19:39 titles virtue and bold
2:19:41 letters music abruptly cuts to silence
2:19:44 will change everything that's pretty
2:19:46 good
2:19:48 in a city of Lights lies a dark secret
2:19:52 one detective against the
2:19:56 future the truth will change
2:20:00 everything hm that's not bad all right
2:20:04 so what do I need to get
2:20:08 to Vicki I need to
2:20:15 get what do you have over here
2:20:30 all right let's go get you some of this
2:20:33 stuff so there was the five scenes here
2:20:36 we go here's the
2:20:46 scenes
2:20:53 I don't know where to put these I'm just
2:20:54 going to put them down
2:20:57 here
2:21:06 oops and
2:21:10 then I don't think we need all the back
2:21:12 and forth to get it right I think we can
2:21:14 just
2:21:16 grab
2:21:22 we can grab
2:21:43 this there's that and then
2:22:06 [Music]
2:22:09 so there's those looking
2:22:11 feels all right and then we've
2:22:16 got
2:22:21 write a script for a 20
2:22:24 second all
2:22:29 right end of
2:22:33 teaser see I I'm I'm already finding
2:22:36 this 20 second teaser overwhelming just
2:22:39 because there's like so much to do I got
2:22:42 to keep reminding myself that AI is
2:22:45 going to do most of the work here
2:22:48 it just feels completely [ __ ]
2:22:51 overwhelming
2:22:54 um all right so
2:23:07 there's
2:23:08 um
2:23:11 right 22nd
2:23:16 teaser
2:23:19 all right so there's our teaser so then
2:23:21 what I'm going to
2:23:23 do is I'm going to say
2:23:34 okay write a detailed shot
2:23:38 list for each of the six
2:23:43 segments of the
2:23:46 teaser where you
2:23:52 describe each visual that is
2:23:54 required to bring that section of the
2:23:57 teaser to
2:24:01 life it's going to be interesting to
2:24:04 see shot one aial
2:24:16 shot
2:24:46 e
2:24:49 please give me a clear description of
2:25:16 Tony
2:25:19 okay so so we now have a look and feel
2:25:22 of the main
2:25:24 character which I'm not even going to
2:25:26 really look at it it's fine like
2:25:27 whatever it came up with what what I
2:25:29 just wanted to do is I wanted to
2:25:33 have I wanted to have
2:25:40 um I wanted to have
2:25:46 um
2:26:16 up
2:26:46 e
2:27:03 chy come on
2:27:14 you all
2:27:16 right let's
2:27:21 see okay all right
2:27:27 so so now let's try this this will be a
2:27:30 thing we'll we'll end on
2:27:32 tonight
2:27:35 is I'm just going to see if it can this
2:27:38 is going to be a [ __ ] disaster I'm
2:27:40 going to see if it can just make all the
2:27:43 all the images for all of the shots in
2:27:46 in one one prompt so wait let me give
2:27:48 let me give Vicki what we've got here so
2:27:51 last thing I gave her was the was the
2:27:55 script so now we've got the shot
2:28:00 list so here's the shot
2:28:16 list
2:28:19 so there's the shot list and
2:28:27 then here's Tony's
2:28:35 description
2:28:43 um Tony's
2:28:46 description
2:28:51 oops okay all right
2:29:07 now
2:29:11 create the visuals from the
2:29:14 film no
2:29:18 from
2:29:20 the teaser shot
2:29:23 list in
2:29:25 1.85 to
2:29:30 one yeah to
2:29:34 one aspect
2:29:38 ratio
2:29:40 period one image per shot and visual
2:29:45 described in the shot list
2:29:50 we'll see we'll see we'll see how much
2:29:51 of a disaster this is I can create
2:29:55 visuals for each
2:29:57 shot but I can only generate them one
2:30:00 shot at a time okay aial night shot of
2:30:04 Los Angeles okay so in
2:30:08 theory what this is going to do is this
2:30:10 is going to give us the foundation to go
2:30:12 make a trailer or a teaser all right
2:30:18 we we'll see how it does we we'll see if
2:30:20 there's oh that's see that's awful
2:30:23 that's just awful
2:30:26 it's it's like 20 years in the future
2:30:29 not 120 years in the future why are
2:30:32 there UFOs beaming
2:30:34 [Laughter]
2:30:42 light all right that's not bad that
2:30:45 could be fine for a
2:30:48 actually this one's going to be
2:30:49 interesting because getting him getting
2:30:51 these legs to look right when he's
2:30:52 walking down the street are going to be
2:30:55 going to
2:30:57 be G to be humorous all right so we're
2:31:00 goingon to have to redo shot
2:31:05 one so I don't think we need to put all
2:31:07 of this in the uh in the descript
2:31:11 descriptions good night Source Camp yeah
2:31:14 I'm GNA I'm going to wrap things up here
2:31:16 um
2:31:19 yep just put them in I'll move them
2:31:20 around as necessary okay
2:31:22 cool maybe chat GPT knows something we
2:31:25 don't in the year
2:31:27 5555 if a man is still alive
2:31:31 exactly uh you have to go check and
2:31:33 check Show and Tell before you go okay
2:31:35 while that thing's writing let's go look
2:31:36 at show and
2:31:37 tell this is this should be
2:31:41 good oh man new
2:31:45 activity I'm going to give up
2:31:48 on
2:31:50 spelling tried all the tricks better IRG
2:31:55 then
2:31:58 rart blandon's dog food love
2:32:02 it oh that's cute that's nice Claire
2:32:05 beautiful blon's toilet paper blon's
2:32:12 diapers it spelled arugala right but it
2:32:14 can't get a regular right better
2:32:20 irregular blandon's bourbon
2:32:23 toothpaste actually blandon's bourbon
2:32:25 pickles sound really
2:32:27 good I love it like it got the font
2:32:30 right that's
2:32:32 amazing oh man hemorrhoid
2:32:37 cream you needed black
2:32:42 paper oh my God you guys are
2:32:45 awesome
2:32:50 oh lordy lordy lordy okay let's see how
2:32:53 we doing oh nice it almost got the title
2:32:56 it almost got the title spelled
2:32:59 correctly oh look I will generate an
2:33:01 image for the the fifth visual combining
2:33:04 shots six and seven no I don't want to
2:33:06 combine shots six and
2:33:09 seven segment five shot six and
2:33:15 seven
2:33:19 okay so we're not going to be able to do
2:33:22 all right so I think what we'll do what
2:33:23 we'll do
2:33:25 tomorrow
2:33:28 is I think we're going to have to go
2:33:30 back to this shot
2:33:33 list I think we're going to have to go
2:33:35 back to this this original shot list so
2:33:37 so the last shot list that's in the
2:33:39 that's in the uh in the
2:33:42 document we'll go back to that and then
2:33:45 what we'll start tomorrow is is we'll
2:33:46 try to get the look and feel right for
2:33:49 each of these
2:33:50 images
2:33:53 because you you can't just do them in a
2:33:55 batch like this it just [ __ ] makes up
2:33:57 its own [ __ ] so I think we're probably
2:33:59 going to have to do my guess is four to
2:34:03 five images per shot till we get
2:34:05 something that doesn't suck Tony wears
2:34:08 smart
2:34:11 pants all right I don't I still don't
2:34:13 know if this is a good idea here's
2:34:15 here's the good news about the learning
2:34:17 lab as you know me I I will flush this
2:34:19 thing down the [ __ ] toilet like if
2:34:20 this
2:34:22 is here's what I'd like to hear from you
2:34:24 just in the next five minutes like was
2:34:27 this
2:34:27 useful um you have to go check Show and
2:34:30 Tell before I go I did um was this
2:34:34 useful um should I keep doing
2:34:38 this
2:34:42 um all that sort of stuff so I'm just
2:34:45 curious what you your thoughts are for
2:34:47 anyone that's still
2:34:52 here where' he go Champion Duty I need a
2:34:56 Vicky great work I know Vicki's doing
2:34:57 amazing work by the way Vicki that's
2:34:59 awesome thank you for doing that
2:35:01 um Dr J fascinating useful I'm up to
2:35:05 continuing loving it yes yes and yes
2:35:08 please
2:35:10 okay like don't be shy like if if it's
2:35:13 not helping or if you want me to do
2:35:15 things in a different way I'm happy to
2:35:17 do that um but this this is just an
2:35:20 experiment and
2:35:22 it's trying to document it while I'm
2:35:25 doing it is is sort of squishing the
2:35:28 Mojo of just sort of doing immediate
2:35:32 stuff so I don't know if it's actually
2:35:34 good for the channel but we'll see it's
2:35:36 fun I think it shows us how to talk to
2:35:39 chat GPT and how frustrating it can be
2:35:41 yep exactly I'm open to see where it
2:35:44 goes even thought not exactly my
2:35:47 specialty that's the other thing I
2:35:48 thought cuz I know a lot about film
2:35:50 making and stuff like that so I might be
2:35:52 just shortcutting stuff that all right
2:35:55 do it but maybe not for two hours right
2:35:59 we we have newbies that we can use with
2:36:01 basic AI
2:36:02 programs yeah maybe I'll
2:36:05 do maybe I'll just do like an hour we'll
2:36:08 just do like little chunks of this thing
2:36:09 I'll I'll just sort of pop into it I
2:36:12 think that's what we'll do I think I
2:36:13 think I'll I'll pop
2:36:15 in
2:36:17 say hi we'll let champy sing say
2:36:21 hi answer some questions do some things
2:36:23 and then and then pop in and do like an
2:36:25 hour on just trying to get it to the get
2:36:28 it to the next
2:36:29 level um this could be a rabbit
2:36:32 hole um could could lose newbies yeah I
2:36:37 I I think I think this is going to lose
2:36:38 newbies so so you know what this could
2:36:40 end up
2:36:43 being this could end up being a
2:36:45 different kind of like this could be
2:36:47 more like a live stream like a like a uh
2:36:51 like a twitch live stream or a YouTube
2:36:52 live live stream I got to think about
2:36:58 it I think we should definitely continue
2:37:01 you know you know what maybe we'll
2:37:03 do this could be oh this could be a this
2:37:06 could be a subscribers thing or this
2:37:09 could be a
2:37:15 um maybe I do the Tik Tok for an hour
2:37:18 and then I jump over and anyone that
2:37:19 wants to go geek out on the other thing
2:37:21 it's a separate thing I don't know all
2:37:23 right let me think about
2:37:25 it I think we should definitely continue
2:37:27 film
2:37:30 Thursdays why not try to build a program
2:37:34 because I decided to build a
2:37:37 film I could build a program like you
2:37:39 know I because I think I think in the
2:37:42 end making a movie is visually
2:37:45 interesting making a computer program is
2:37:48 visually [ __ ]
2:37:50 mind-numbing um I just I just think
2:37:54 it's um film Thursdays with homework
2:37:58 this could be a rabbit
2:38:01 hole I create a one minute GPT Mr
2:38:04 Shannon why not try to build a
2:38:07 program very useful is it better to do
2:38:09 it offline under less pressure than walk
2:38:12 us through what you
2:38:13 did maybe
2:38:17 filmfest Fridays yeah maybe maybe it's
2:38:20 like a one day a week
2:38:22 thing I think it's very interesting then
2:38:25 ask Marge where where the how to turn
2:38:28 Tik Tok
2:38:30 off don't ever stop wait what was that
2:38:33 don't ever stop please um no I won't
2:38:36 stop I just what I what I might do is I
2:38:38 might I just need to figure out like
2:38:41 what's the right if I spend two hours
2:38:44 just geeking out on something Tik Tok is
2:38:48 a channel where people come in and out
2:38:50 every 7 minutes and that's being
2:38:52 generous that they're staying that long
2:38:54 so there's a lot of people just passing
2:38:56 through here so if I'm
2:39:00 just sort of deep diving on on something
2:39:03 then I I just yeah I don't know I gotta
2:39:06 I'll figure it out I'll figure something
2:39:08 out
2:39:09 here I learned a lot make a program to
2:39:12 make movies Auto split videos enhance
2:39:14 combine Etc yeah well that's I'm not
2:39:19 that far from doing that with my company
2:39:21 Story vine Rudy like that's that's what
2:39:22 my company does is is a lot of automated
2:39:26 video stuff so I learned a lot okay I
2:39:28 really got to go to bed
2:39:30 now I'm as bad as Kyle said that 10
2:39:33 minutes ago best ending ever last
2:39:37 night I wake up to these lives and love
2:39:39 it I agree with your instinct okay great
2:39:42 all right I'll I'll I'll figure it out
2:39:44 so that we're not we don't completely
2:39:47 alter this channel into this other thing
2:39:48 cuz I cuz it's I just don't think this
2:39:51 is the right um it's not the right
2:39:53 technology to do this kind of Deep dive
2:39:55 but maybe doing like one night a week
2:39:59 I'll do something like I'll do half an
2:40:01 hour or 45 minutes here and then go do a
2:40:03 YouTube live where it really is about
2:40:05 the the what's going on on screen or
2:40:08 something like that all right listen
2:40:11 everybody Marge told me how to turn off
2:40:13 the video tonight so so
2:40:16 that I can't repeat that joke too often
2:40:19 or it just won't be funny if it was
2:40:20 funny at all last night people seem to
2:40:22 like it but but um thank you mods Vicky
2:40:25 thank you for for uh helping to do do
2:40:28 the uh the thing I don't know how far
2:40:30 we'll go with this but we'll see but but
2:40:31 at least we have a document now to start
2:40:33 with so our 30 minute goodbyes it's
2:40:35 going to be quicker tonight um all right
2:40:39 uh thanks mods thank you subscribers
2:40:43 thank you Irregulars thank you Vicky
2:40:45 thank you all for for putting up with my
2:40:47 uh my
2:40:49 experimentation and
2:40:51 uh all right I'm blur eyed peace out
2:40:56 everybody love you follow my channel um
2:41:00 whatever just you know what do what you
2:41:02 need to do have a good night I'll see
2:41:05 you tomorrow bye
