14. 3:22booze uh Blanton's flavored popcorn ambo and it was awesome and so I'm taking the video of that uh that whole episode or
15. 3:33that whole what do they call these episodes that that episode of the AI learning lab series and I'm uploading it
16. 3:40right now so on the AI learning lab uh YouTube channel they will they it will be up there so if you want to see that
17. 3:49it'll it should be live it's it's got eight minutes left to process so it'll be up there you can leave here and go
18. 3:54watch that um and then and then tonight what I want wanted to do what was I what I want to do um I'm going to talk a little bit
19. 4:05more about GPT for good how was the coffee I've got it right here coffee is really good actually it's very nutty tastes very
20. 4:14nutty it's nutty tasty all the stuff's really good um but we're going to start the uh we're going to start the screenplay
21. 4:27project and you're like but what's screenplay project screenplay project is uh I'm going to take some old screen plays of
22. 4:37mine and over the next couple of weeks or so I'm going to see what I can do with them like up to and possibly including making a
23. 4:48film I think that's a little too ambitious but we're going to at least start with like video teasers or
24. 4:54trailers um and so so so rather than in this channel which this channel is normally just chaos it's like what well
25. 5:03what the hell you want to talk about let's just talk something I'll drink a little whiskey and you tell me what you
26. 5:08want to talk about we'll go talk about that that's normally what we do here and people seem to enjoy that so so it's
27. 5:19going to be slightly different and listen you tell me if you're digging it or not cuz if it's boring as [ __ ] and
28. 5:26we're like Kyle we're just watching you we're just trying to like watching an old man trying to be a uh like use his computer and it's not
29. 5:36interesting uh then we can do it lunatick you want to participate so yeah so I haven't even decided what I want to
30. 5:43do or how I want to do it yet so it could be the kind of thing where lots of people on here participate it could be the kind of thing where
31. 5:52um we all do different things uh meaning different screenplays Kyle morphing into will FAL doing Harry Cary is what I'm
32. 6:01here for yeah Harry Cary here I I I do I sometimes I I I do end up in these characters between characters which um depending on the the

34. 6:32um I'm trying to think where to begin because I because I got a lot of stuff I want to do the other thing I want to I
35. 6:37want to do a shout out I don't know if Corey Sandler's here from Corey Sandler Pottery um but I was I was flicking
36. 6:43through Ye Old Tik Tock today and I saw that that Corey had gone live and when I when I um flicked over there to see what
37. 6:53she was up to she was teaching people how to make gpts um she participated in the GPT for good uh thing that we did last weekend
38. 7:03and uh and so she was just doing a fullon here's how to make gpts on her Channel which I thought was [ __ ]
39. 7:08awesome because she's normally making pottery and so but she's made she made a a a pottery making GPT and she made a
40. 7:17bunch of other gpts but now she's teaching other people how to do that so that is absolutely you know Square in
41. 7:23line with my mission for this channel is to just get people engaged with this stuff and play and whatever they're
42. 7:30inspired to do go do it so um super cool could you talk about crew AI open source not right now I don't know
43. 7:38anything about it crew AI have I heard of it that we're going to go look at in a second crew
44. 7:53ai ai agent teams oh this is a lang chain thing yeah yeah yeah um okay so uh I can't talk to that specifically but uh a AI agents in
45. 8:06general are going to be a big part of the conversation in 2024 um we're going to start seeing a lot more of that and
46. 8:13and if you don't know what an AI agent is basically right now most of AI is um transactional you say I want you to do
47. 8:21this and the AI responds and then you give it more instructions AI agents you're just going to give them goals and
48. 8:30they're going to go do [ __ ] for you um so we're going to we're going to start to see a lot of that in
49. 8:352024 um there was also a uh one of the one of the Personnel robot companies today um announced that they've got
50. 8:47their their humanoid robots are now um generally AI trainable um which basic basically like you can you can train it
51. 8:58to make a pot of coffee and so their their demo video was this robot making a pot of or a cup of coffee with a carig
52. 9:06coffee coffee machine it like flicked up the little lid grabbed the pod put it in there like jiggled it until it went in
53. 9:14closed it hit the start button um so uh so the 2024's I'm telling you man 2023 was the last normal year someone someone someone did that
54. 9:27graphic for me here um where is it this one 2023 the last normal year I I just I
55. 9:41think this is going to be right it's going to be wild um so anyway anyway good to see everybody welcome welcome

65. 11:16being the last normal year no [ __ ] Source Camp that's wild yeah I just this is It's GNA get it's gonna get [ __ ]
66. 11:31weird it's gonna get [ __ ] weird and it's it it's funny like I there's a part of me that's resisting doing so what I'm
67. 11:39going to do tonight is I'm going to start um unearthing some of my old screenplays and seeing what I can do to
68. 11:49bring them to life with generative AI like up to an including making a feature film like I don't know if I'll get that
69. 11:56far you know we've got the add thing going so I can hyperfocus so if it if it if it generates enough endorphins for me
70. 12:04we'll keep going um so so it might be an abject failure um but but I'm like I've got a hesitance to it because it's like does it like is
71. 12:15this relevant like is just [ __ ] going to come out that's going to make this feel irrelevant but I my instinct is shit's
72. 12:23going to start happening in 2024 that makes it increasingly easy to do really good work and and it doesn't matter what the
73. 12:33work is um and making a film is not something you really just do on a Tik Tok Channel if you got a screenplay
74. 12:40sitting around dude half of Miami Tik Tok is convinced Giants came out of a portal some teens opened up in a
75. 12:57mall it's possible there's there's all the uh you know when they turned on the large hron collider apparently they
76. 13:06split some new realities and that's why none of our movies end the way they used to end so I don't know it's possible
77. 13:14maybe maybe some portals opened up but uh so 2024 exactly so 2024 about 2024 we're seven days in and uh it it is not
78. 13:25terribly weird so far so what could possibly happen what do we need for doomsday there's only one thing you really need for
79. 13:38doomsday it's pretty clear it's pretty clear you got that you're good now as uh as the Irregulars found out getting a
80. 13:49hold of one of those not so [ __ ] easy was it I don't know how you did it I don't actually don't want to know
81. 13:56because it like it it'll take the mystery away but however you did it you you have you know a forever indebted uh tick [Laughter]
82. 14:08tocker all right all right I hear Fruit of the Loom has portal technology that's I think that's what 2024 is going to be wait who's an AI
83. 14:18company now um all right you all are awesome by the way if you flip the Miami portal coordinates they would have gone to
84. 14:29Antarctica if you know you know this channel is actually fun because probably once a week or so we get in someone who's full-on conspiracy
85. 14:42theorist and I sort of just sort of I try to just navigate between the uh conspiracy theory uh gold posts because I think they're kind of
86. 14:53fun one of the one of the things that I I discovered about conspiracy theories in my life um um is that you need just
87. 15:00need to be careful who you talk to him with cuz I kind of see conspiracy theories as like a mildly entertaining
88. 15:06form of just like you know it's it's kind of hilarious and then I was talking about him one day with a buddy of mine a
89. 15:13fishing buddy of mine and all of a sudden he started going yeah and the and and the bankers are controlling the
90. 15:20world I was like oh no [ __ ] he actually believes this [ __ ] uh oh so I to like backpedal it's like all right so um all right so you're
91. 15:35saying we have to prepare we have a year to prepare for 2025 I'm not saying that at all anema um what I'm saying is 2024 like technology
92. 15:47that's released in 2024 is going to get um very powerful very quickly and like all the stuff we learned in 2023 like like chat GPT in
93. 16:012023 was essentially your essentially just kind of like fancier like fancier Google response for lack of a better term like like you had
94. 16:13this Google box and you type some words in it and then it would do [ __ ] and then but over the year it got fancier and
95. 16:19fancier and it could do more and more [ __ ] and by the time we get to November it's gone multimodal and now it
96. 16:26can see images it can talk it can hear it can make images but it's still like this Google search box and then they
97. 16:33demo Gemini Ultra and it's got a completely different interface and it's about having visual objects and then you
98. 16:40select certain visual objects and then you interact with those Vis visual objects and so I just I just think
99. 16:47the what we input to get the AI to do stuff and what the output of the AI is is just going to get weird like it's just going to
100. 16:57get weird weird cool powerful amazing but but whatever skills we gener we we um built up in 2023 are not going to be
101. 17:10wasted but I don't think they really prepared us for whatever's coming um like the agent thing that someone
102. 17:19just asked about once we have autonomous agents that go off and do things like we sort of send our little agents out to
103. 17:28the world to do [ __ ] for us that's different that's just different than you know sort of prompting regarding Blandon
104. 17:36no one ever said it was the unicorn of bourbon I am pretty sure I did I am pretty sure I did I it would like
105. 17:46there's no reason why a normal sane man would talk as much about a single brand of whiskey as me and not own any like if
106. 17:55I could go down to the booze store and get it I just I wouldn't talk about it that's that's why I talk about it uh
107. 18:04it is absolutely the unicorn of bourbon so I don't know what you did but holy crap it's it's it was like a little Christmas miracle
108. 18:15um all right let's go let's go do some do some housekeeping here and then we're going to we're going to start our little
109. 18:21project so I want you to go there the salon. a Kyle did you read some industry Tech CEO advis students to slow down on
110. 18:33jumping into stem due to AI slow down on jumping into stem due to AI I didn't I didn't
111. 18:52um it depends what age he's talking about if he's talking about Junior High and high high school kids that's that
112. 18:59feels irresponsible to me if he's talking about um university age then I potentially I I don't necessarily
113. 19:09agree with slow down on stem like I think I think you still need to I I I think I think you you still need to
114. 19:19understand know what what science is and and math and things like that um I think it I I mean this channel exists
115. 19:31I I'm not I'm not interested in people in in slowing down other things so much as I'm interested in people accelerating
116. 19:40getting AI literate maybe they meant forget stem and jump full into steam well I hope so like one of the
117. 19:49things that's always bugged the [ __ ] [ __ ] out of me with stem is like where are the Arts and that's steam so and and now if
118. 19:58steam is AI I don't I I don't I don't really care but but again I think I think we are entering a new era called
119. 20:05revenge of the liberal arts major where horizontal thinking non-sp specialty thinking is going to be increasingly
120. 20:12valued moving forward because all the Specialties that you historically were were the more valuable degrees and the
121. 20:20more valuable skills all of that's going to get commoditized with AI and like the implications of what's of of how these things are getting
122. 20:30capable on the vertical specialty skills is crazy people with with all those philosophy degrees are
123. 20:44going to start they're going to start coming back to roost the philosophy majors and the people with acting
124. 20:52degrees are going are going to start coming back to roost and the specialty people are going to be like how did you get that
125. 21:01job what did you study in school oh you know Le lar an Tilly's Appalachian philosophy along with banjo but you're running the AI division
126. 21:18for a major Fortune 500 Corporation I know it's fantastic isn't it oh man people are going to be so pissed
127. 21:33but I have a degree I've got 2,000 in $200,000 in debt for this specialty degree yeah we don't need those people
128. 21:42anymore everyone can do that [Laughter] now oh man oh lordy lordy lordy all
129. 21:56right it it was a Nobel Prize winner in economics that said it I heard someone comment that Humanities majors are the
130. 22:05best at llms so here's here's why I think that is um any idea what the new Galaxy AI phone is going to be based on
131. 22:14just Android um there's a new thing there's a new thing by the way um this is semi-related to the Android phone comment um one of the
132. 22:25other things we're going to see a lot in 2024 is on device AI um so as as companies are announcing here's a special phone that just does AI
133. 22:36That's got some optimized large language model that runs locally on the chip we're going to start to see a lot of
134. 22:43that so you're going to be able to have a GPT kind of experience without being connected to the internet super powerful
135. 22:50it's going to be a big deal in 2024 I mean we're going to start to see that kind of stuff more um in December
136. 23:01Apple quietly relaunched launched a thing called mlx and mlx is machine learning X I assume um but it's basically a framework
137. 23:15that allows people to run third-party large language models and and machine learning models on Apple silicon so M1 M2 and M3 chips really
138. 23:28really efficiently and it does Pate I don't know if you're on here Pate but one of the things mlx does is it it's
139. 23:35created a thing called unified memory so it's got unified memory across GPU and CPU um so so basically it can it can
140. 23:46just use I don't know whatever Cycles are available to it for for machine learning stuff the implication of it is is that um
141. 23:58that Apple silicon M1 and and newer chips um are going to are going to start to get really good at running um Ai and
142. 24:09machine learning stuff so so that's kind of cool um I like the idea of Hardware based limited AI it's that's the stuff
143. 24:16of robot laborers yeah exactly I mean it's this is this is we're again 2023 is the last normal year we're going to get
144. 24:24us get start to get into some weird [ __ ] where where you're going to be able to run something on your phone that
145. 24:31Bluetooths over to your thing that runs your whole home automation system and all of a sudden your home automation
146. 24:37system is actually easy to use rather than you have to be a a Quantum physicist to figure out how to program
147. 24:42it um or you're going to or or there's going to be some consumer robot that does some cool [ __ ] in the kitchen and
148. 24:48you you know it's it's there's just going to be some going to be some interesting stuff um all right I haven't gotten started
149. 24:57yet we're 24 minutes in we haven't even done anything um I need to get a new Android phone with a slm llm capable
150. 25:04device anyone here of good ones not yet it's a little early like I just My Philosophy with apple Hardware is is
151. 25:13just always always buy the most expensive spec that you can just try to buy yourself three years rather than a
152. 25:26year but you know I have a lot of stuff done to the house pixel's a really decent phone yeah the new pixel Pro 8 has already has a
153. 25:40native version of Gemini Nano um there there's there's some app on the this was this was some weird ass
154. 25:49thing that that Google did so when they announced Gemini they're like okay there's three versions of Gemini there's Gemini Pro
155. 25:58which is basically GPT 3.5 then there's Gemini Nano and they said and Gemini Nano is now running on the pixel 8 Pro
156. 26:09Well turns out there's like one there's like one feature in one software application that uses the large language
157. 26:17model like like it was just like this really small little it was like some sort of glorified search or something
158. 26:23that used it but it's coming so so again I would just say buy the one with the most processing power and the most memory that you can
159. 26:33afford um but I just like that's just a tech thing in general right CU Tech stuff's advancing too much I just
160. 26:41updated our iPhones today very cool got my kid on a OnePlus it's fairly decent very cool I love my 299 okay so the AI
161. 26:50learning lab has now become an Android phone recommendation system I've abandoned all other Android brands
162. 26:58pixel's a really decent one all right good fantastic help each other I'm an iPhone guys so I don't have a [ __ ] clue on
163. 27:06Android um where can I get a list of apis apis for what I use prax on my home network 15 prax here nice back to
164. 27:20automation back to automation team iPhone yeah [ __ ] team iPhone um I was an iPhone guy in 7 28 nice gpts all

170. 28:32Murphy and I alternated every 3 hours we did another session where we had this specific little cheat sheet and we
171. 28:39taught people how to make gpts which if you don't know what those are they're personalized uh customized versions of
172. 28:46chat GPT that you can name and save and share with other people they're really powerful and you don't need to know any
173. 28:55programming and that was the whole point and this Community built 150 gpts in a 24-hour period so this
174. 29:03page the first link on that the salon. a link tree um explains what the event was and then here's the 150 gpts that were
175. 29:13created so super inspiring go see these they're they're just absolutely amazing and what Vicky added tonight was
176. 29:22this want to create your own gpts these instructions will get you up and running for your GPT for good in create mode
177. 29:31fill in the options so these are the instructions that we gave people on that day and so it's right here on the page
178. 29:39so you can go get inspired by the gpts up here if you haven't made one how you make a GPT is you go to chat GPT and if you've
179. 29:49got chat GPT 4 right now it's required that you have chat gbt 4 you click on this explore button and at the the very top it says create a
180. 30:02GPT and there you go you're in create mode and then you just copy and paste you you basically start here you copy
181. 30:12that put your information in it pop it into the GPT and within seriously within like 3 minutes you will have a
182. 30:19functional GPT and then the rest of these steps are just to make it better it's really cool it's really an
183. 30:26amazing thing um and so people got super inspired by this so if you want to be inspired and if you want to go make some
184. 30:32stuff go do that the second link on this link tree is a a YouTube playlist of the actual sessions where we taught people

208. 34:43the introduce yourself area first and introduce yourself please introduce yourself and here's the deal if you've
209. 34:50got that social anxiety thing where you're like well I don't want to introduce myself cuz I'm just brand new
210. 34:54with this Ai and everyone in here probably knows more than I do and just just [ __ ] introduce yourself one of our values is
211. 35:05generosity and it it is actually a gift to the other people in the community for you to say who you are and where you are in the
212. 35:14journey and it's also a gift for you to share what you're learning while you're learning it and no matter how
213. 35:22ridiculously simple the thing you learned is and how obvious you think it is and it's not going to help anyone
214. 35:29else what we've learned is that when people share the the stuff that they think is the stupid [ __ ] it blows other people's
215. 35:38minds because everyone's coming from a different life experience and work experience and AI experience and so
216. 35:46someone comes in and goes I figured out how to do something and here's what it is and everyone's like oh [ __ ] I never
217. 35:51thought about it like that you did it Jamie you cracked the code so introduce yourself and then there's a um there's a
218. 36:01water cooler discussion Channel there's a news channel um there's showand tell so one of the things that happens in
219. 36:07here the people that come to these my lives I do these things nightly um they'll hop in Show and Tell and if they
220. 36:14get bored of what I'm saying which happens a lot they come over to show and tell and like entertain each other with making oh that's a cool
221. 36:22one this is this a is this a uh Danielle did you make this do a GPT the reflection thing cuz it's super cool that's hilarious
222. 36:37um but but there's you know all sorts of stuff in here oh very nice blandon's ice cream oh that looks so
223. 36:44good um a blandon's float oh that sounds good actually um you can go share things and show and tell um there's also AI tools
224. 36:55and resources where here's all the tools you should be starting with and playing with and then the question that was just asked guilds
225. 37:02here's all the guilds so there's an AI 101 Guild an Art Guild a writer Guild business uh AI mechanics uh healthc care
226. 37:10video and uh Stacy and Matt's education Guild the education Guild's brand new um which one you should join is which one
227. 37:19you're interested in that's the whole idea of these sub communities guilds or sub communities where you can geek out
228. 37:25um and we're going to increasingly make those about you know educating people in different specialty areas um just start
