on to 6:43 29 and up head on that 6:47 hor is a California 6:51 [Music] 6:57 line a head of trucks carrying a w 7:01 Lo 3 house 7:05 half cute little front door and two 7:07 windows my 7:09 Lord ain't the tick tock hello you 8:08 ticktockers as we 8:10 suspected there was 8:12 some much hype today for not much 8:16 deployment there was some deployment 8:18 there was some things we learned 8:21 today if you haven't been paying 8:23 attention there's this dude named Mr 8:25 strawberry on the Twitter 8:31 and I know what you're thinking Kyle 8:33 they don't call it Twitter anymore they 8:35 call it X 8:37 now so there's this dude named Mr 8:39 strawberry on 8:41 Twitter 8:43 and he was getting all hot and bothered 8:47 over 8:48 [Music] 8:50 uh some [ __ ] was going to launch today 8:53 at 10:00 a.m. 8:57 Pacific something's [ __ ] up with my 9:00 guitar 9:02 here wait 9:10 oh you know when you're tuning the wrong 9:15 string it don't seem 9:19 normal I'm like twisting and twisting 9:22 nothing's 9:26 moving yeah something went wonky man 9:32 [Music] 9:50 okay but can we 9:52 address you leaving last night by 9:55 thanking someone for their wiener they 9:58 somebody gave me a wiener 10:00 and so I thanked them for their 10:02 wiener said I said thank you for your 10:09 wiener and then I said but no we refer 10:12 to them as Franks around 10:16 here I've got video proof of it a wiener 10:19 popped up on screen I was just 10:21 acknowledging the wiener that was in my 10:23 face 10:28 [Music] 10:40 maybe you don't want to broadcast that 10:43 oh 10:45 [Music] 10:51 my I'm downloading flux to run locally 10:54 right now 37 gab very cool Teton skier 10:58 here's my problem there's a another 11:00 reason I don't go in for the large 11:02 language model or the the open source uh 11:05 the open source models all that 11:08 much as a diagnosed data 11:12 hoarder every one of my hard drives is 11:14 full like up to the like every one of my 11:16 hard drives is like dude dude throw 11:18 something out throw something out and 11:20 now that I've got cloud storage where it 11:22 just automatically pushes [ __ ] up to the 11:24 cloud it's even worse it's like it's so 11:27 bad I just download big giant files it's 11:31 like and then pushing them up to the 11:34 clouds so even files that I use all the 11:37 time I I always have to download them 11:38 off the clouds so anyway I don't have 37 11:41 gab to to download onto and I know what 11:45 you're saying well Kyle just buy an 11:46 external hard drive do you know how many 11:48 [ __ ] external hard drives I have 11:49 they're also all full of [ __ ] that I 11:52 won't throw out 11:55 [Music] 12:05 anyone else Tred the mid Journey app on 12:10 desktop is there 12:13 one I use the website you mean the 12:16 website I use the website all the time 12:19 although I'm out of fast credits and I 12:22 don't know how to turn it down I don't 12:24 know how to turn it down to slow credits 12:26 or slow render whatever the [ __ ] it's 12:28 called so it's not doing anything right 12:29 now so if anyone knows how to do that 12:31 let me know um let me 12:36 see is it new MID Journey 12:40 app mid Journey 12:47 app mid Journey app.org mid journey is a 12:51 free app that's Android and 12:56 iOS is that what you're talking about 12:59 on 13:01 desktop app let's do desktop 13:05 desktop is it 13:18 Mac I I ain't see no mid Journey app 13:21 side hustle 13:24 Mimi it looks like there's an iOS and an 13:27 Android app for Mid Journey 13:29 [Music] 14:13 I should turn that into something 14:15 shouldn't I that's one of those little 14:17 like riffs licks whatever the [ __ ] you 14:20 call them that I just play all the time 14:23 and I don't know what it is I don't know 14:24 where it came from 14:34 [Music] 14:35 do wieners always have to be 14:37 acknowledged listen we're it's How We 14:42 Roll that's beautiful thank you thank 14:44 you Mary 14:46 [Music] 14:53 Mary that little that little the the 14:56 keeping the the rhythm going with the 14:59 dander 15:00 on the on the offbeat is that took me a 15:02 long time to 15:03 get wait 15:09 [Music] 15:26 [Applause] 15:26 [Music] 15:32 never been super precise with Ye Old 15:34 fingers but you know what you going to 15:39 do um have you tried sus column R I 15:45 haven't 15:47 I'm I am 15:53 um back in the 60s during the Vietnam 15:56 war there are these these people called 15:58 conscientious objective 16:00 objectors who who just they didn't they 16:03 were like you're not going to draft my 16:04 ass I'm not going to go kill kill people 16:07 no and I feel 16:09 like that's where I am right now with 16:12 with 16:13 uh with uh open Ai and their La lack of 16:17 ability to [ __ ] release anything so 16:20 even though it's out there and it's 16:22 probably something and it's 16:24 probably you know GPT 40 405 billion 16:30 ameter um no I 16:32 haven't I'm just like [ __ ] launching 16:35 already I'm tired of rumors I'm tired of 16:37 it you know I just I I'm just done I'm 16:40 done I'm done I'm 16:42 done I spent all day today looking at 16:45 [ __ ] Twitter I'm on a [ __ ] 16:47 creative call paying attention to 16:48 Twitter what are they going to launch 16:49 what are they going to launch what are 16:50 they going to launch you know what they 16:52 [ __ ] 16:53 launched a new 16:55 Benchmark system which okay cool you got 16:58 a new Benchmark system that when your 17:00 new [ __ ] sexy model comes out you'll 17:02 have a benchmarking system good enough 17:04 to measure it 17:07 but 17:09 um I don't 17:12 care give me new 17:14 toys now that said thanks to Danielle 17:18 she gave me a good heads up so about a 17:21 week 17:22 ago um openingi secretly quietly updated 17:26 the underlying model in chat GPT 17:29 [Music] 17:32 and it looks like it can do multi-step 17:35 uh things where it wasn't good at that 17:39 before so um Danielle said I should try 17:41 that out she gave me a good idea so 17:42 we'll do that tonight we'll play with 17:45 that and then I heard that some people 17:48 are getting access to the new image 17:51 generation model which is not do3 inside 17:54 chat GPT so here's a whole thing wait 17:58 before we get started you can make money 18:00 with 18:00 chat 18:02 huh did you know that you could make 18:05 money with cha GPT you know how to make 18:07 money with chat 18:09 GPT first you make a course on how to 18:12 make money with chat GPT and then you 18:14 get on Tik Tok and you talk like this 18:16 you can make money 18:18 with and you put on graphics and Blinky 18:23 [ __ ] and then people pay you money for 18:26 your book 18:30 I guess that's just called publishing 18:35 [Music] 18:39 anyway um God this guitar needs a good 18:42 [Music] 18:44 setup I think it needs new Frets 18:47 too yeah I don't 18:50 know trained basics of AI to an 18:53 association today demoed how 90% of the 18:57 board 90% of the board is unnecessary 19:01 what board the board of directors what 19:02 are you talking about three M storage 19:04 Jim Ross comes in swinging some heat 19:07 sometimes but you know tonight I don't 19:10 know what the words in that sentence 19:12 mean you know what it is he used chat 19:16 jpt to write it it's a new model he's 19:18 not used to the new 19:20 [Music] 19:24 syntax yeah board of directors oh cool 19:27 oh that oh how 90% of the board of 19:29 directors is unnecessary because you 19:32 have an expert a series of experts right 19:35 at your disposal that's a really good 19:37 point Jim it's really it's a really good 19:39 idea you can also one of my favorite 19:42 things to do so so what he's talking 19:43 about there is you know the questions 19:45 you would normally ask your board how do 19:47 we do this how do we do that um help me 19:49 make these decisions how should I think 19:51 about making these decisions chat GPT is 19:54 really good at 19:55 that and one of the things that you 19:57 could do is you could make yourself a 19:59 custom GPT where actually maybe we'll do 20:03 this tonight hey Jim Ross want me to 20:06 want me to build you a GPT for 20:10 that cuz so here's where my head's going 20:12 or you could build it but I'll I'll use 20:14 your example maybe we'll build something 20:16 tonight 20:18 um how I would think about that is this 20:21 I would say okay I'm in the storage 20:24 management 20:25 business and I'm I'm growing and I'm 20:28 franch 20:29 in and um I want to put together a board 20:33 of 20:35 directors so I tell chat GPT my 20:39 plans it's like a therapist or a 20:43 friend it's coffee I have ADD yeah I 20:47 drink coffee at night so 20:52 what he was a little sazy tonight did 20:55 you notice that he was he was it was 20:57 like someone was yelling at him but 21:00 there was no one 21:02 there I I don't understand him 21:06 sometimes 21:10 um so I would say I'm putting together 21:13 board of directors 21:16 and I love coffee I know coffee is the 21:18 best and and then I would say tell 21:23 me the 10 the top 21:27 10 um 21:32 kinds of board members I should have you 21:36 know give me their background give me 21:38 all that and I have I would have it 21:39 describe 21:40 them and then I would say I don't know 21:43 here's my goal here's my size out of 21:45 those 21:46 10 pick five for me to be on my 21:49 board 21:51 right or or you could use all 10 it 21:53 doesn't really matter but you have it 21:54 describe them pretty decently right then 21:59 what I would 22:00 do is I 22:03 [Music] 22:10 would I would go beyond just generic 22:13 descriptions of board members I would 22:15 have it name them I would have it give 22:16 them 22:18 personas so I'd want to know what their 22:20 education background is what 22:24 their work history is what their 22:28 management style 22:32 [Music] 22:37 is and I would have it name them and I 22:39 would have it say what city are they 22:41 from like all sorts of really specific 22:43 ass [ __ ] which you're like that's weird 22:45 why would you do 22:46 that 22:49 Kyle because what I would then do is I 22:52 would put that whole document I would 22:55 save it as a PDF or a text document 22:58 doesn't matter 22:59 and then I would upload upload that to 23:02 my 23:02 GPT along with some instructions that 23:05 say hey you're a board of directors for 23:09 Three Mile Storage storage management 23:12 company describe you know enough of what 23:14 you 23:16 do and then I would I would write some 23:19 system prompts that would be things like 23:24 um ask me about a decision I I would 23:26 have a button ask me about a decision 23:29 have to 23:30 make and then you push that button and 23:32 it says okay what's a decision you have 23:33 to make and then you put in your 23:36 decision and when you hit submit it will 23:39 give you five different opinions here's 23:42 what each of those five people say with 23:44 their five different professional 23:46 backgrounds on how you should make that 23:48 decision and why and then there should 23:50 be a consensus decision 23:54 recommendation right so you could 23:56 totally in I don't know that wouldn't 23:58 that wouldn't take us more than 15 23:59 minutes I don't think we could build a 24:02 board of directors 24:04 GPT that you could ask decisions of I 24:08 basically did their marketing plan 24:10 course event sponsorship tiers for the 24:13 year in 20 minutes that's so [ __ ] 24:16 awesome so so Jim were they uh were they 24:19 Kevin mallister out like oh my God you 24:23 can't do 24:26 that you can build a job description for 24:29 other employees from those descriptions 24:31 too maybe 24:34 absolutely yeah that's a good point it 24:35 doesn't just have to be a board of 24:36 directors it could also be you know 24:39 different kinds of employees in 24:41 [Music] 24:52 [Applause] 24:54 there sitting in this lonely town 24:59 wonder when things are going to 25:03 change dream my life 25:06 away seems these dreams have turned to a 25:09 bunch D 25:12 classs get my nerve up but my past is 25:16 pulling me 25:19 down wondering how 25:21 long this black sheep going to stick 25:25 around 25:27 [Music] 25:30 somebody told me once before you can 25:33 never go home again once you 25:36 leave say things to steer me 25:41 away from the truth of who I am and what 25:44 I believe so I thanked him for his two 25:47 cents with a 25:48 handshake and some sympathy yeah packed 25:53 up my blue 25:54 jeans and headed for this big prize 26:00 of my 26:02 freedom 26:03 byebye Black Sheep to the black sheep of 26:07 the 26:09 family all right let's get going we 26:12 let's get doing something here enough 26:13 self-indulgent [ __ ] singing from the 26:16 [Music] 26:23 host you know why uh shows like The 26:26 Tonight Show and things like that Co 26:28 bear you know why of professional 26:30 bands so that the host doesn't do what I 26:34 [Laughter] 26:37 [Music] 26:48 do all right let's go play let's go do 26:52 something Scott is prompting in real 26:54 time LOL 26:57 music cuz they they can cuz they have 26:59 the budget for it 27:04 [Laughter] 27:08 exactly all right all right good 27:12 people go to PO to totally different 27:15 okay I will go to PO if it's totally 27:17 different although my problem with po 27:19 well it's not a problem a problem with 27:21 PO is I think I got rid of my 27:23 subscription to 27:24 it let's go to PO first because that 27:27 sounds interesting if they updated that 27:29 PO cuz their interface was a bit of a 27:31 [ __ ] 27:32 show oh yeah it's looking that's looking 27:34 a little Slicker let me hang on just my 27:37 screen brightness so it's not all blowed 27:39 out you oh hang on people you know you 27:43 people talking about your keyboard you 27:46 got to cover up your keyboard KY hey ky 27:49 ky ky ky ky ky what could you cover up 27:54 your 27:56 keyboard um so here's po if you ain't if 27:59 you ain't been to Poe you got [ __ ] you 28:02 can do down here and then you got [ __ ] 28:06 you can do down here these are official 28:08 bots so PO is all about Bots and you can 28:11 make your own 28:12 bots so look if I if I search 28:16 explore if I search for I 28:23 am Shakespeare 28:29 oh I can only do 28:36 it 28:37 continue um 28:43 hello 28:47 no I can't even use the bot that I 28:55 created see if my bot is there eight 28:59 wait AI Oracle is that it it's probably 29:04 there Daisy but I can't um I can't use 29:07 it because I gave up my 29:09 subscription is it AI T A or a t AI mark ah I see you're seeking some deep 29:47 philosophical in instincts wait insights 29:51 I guess I should read the word rather 29:53 than just pretending I saw what it was 29:56 while the meaning of life is profound 29:58 question that has puzzled Humanity for 30:00 centuries that ultimately comes down to 30:02 each individual's perspectives and 30:03 beliefs what do you personally believe 30:05 gives your life meeting and purpose now 30:08 watch 30:09 this don't turn this on me Skippy period 30:13 I'm here for 30:17 answers one of my favorite pastimes is 30:21 being a dick to the Bots but you know at 30:24 some point the Bots are going to start 30:25 remembering that [ __ ] and then when the 30:27 Bots have bodies they're just going to 30:29 backhand you they're going to be like 30:31 listen don't be a 30:36 dick look what it says all right all 30:39 right no need to get defensive lay it on 30:40 me what's the situation you're grappling 30:43 with give give me the details so we can 30:45 figure out if you're an [ __ ] or 30:50 not oh that's 30:52 awesome all right so let's see what else 30:55 Po's got going here um Claude Sona llama 30:59 3 Gemini 1.5 flash 1.5 Pro flux car in 32:44 a in an abandoned Factory 32:46 using flux and it was pretty good let me 32:48 try it with real but then we'll do some 32:50 people with this one excuse me 32:54 um 32:56 1970s muscle car 32:59 in an abandoned 33:03 Factory with sunlight streaming Through 33:05 the 33:08 Windows the dust glistening in the 33:13 air bathed in the warmth of magic hour 33:18 light good God I'm 33:20 literary get this man a publishing 33:23 contract 33:24 stat look how fast that was but also 33:27 look how 33:29 that like that's just there's something 33:31 about the shape of this car it's not 33:33 quite a real a real car but it's 33:37 definitely 33:38 like it's got some it's at least the 33:42 same body like the same lines like what 33:46 I've noticed in almost all of these 33:48 70s um renders is you'll get like the 33:52 front end of a javelin and the ass end 33:54 of a Challenger and like a chevel sort 33:57 of stuck in there 33:58 like this one kind of looks consistent 34:01 it looks like the same car in all the 34:04 parts it's pretty good yes please play 34:07 with flux as I'm a bit flx over the 34:10 whole 34:14 thing hey everybody's a smart ass 34:16 tonight aren't they the trunk look the 34:19 trunk looks funky yeah it does the trunk 34:21 looks a little funky and the the hood 34:24 scoops are a little funky but it's it's 34:26 generally it's generally better than 34:28 than than what I did but what what this 34:31 um model has been trained 34:35 for is oops I just resent it oh that's 34:38 not what I wanted to 34:44 do this this is really fast this is 34:47 really fast 34:50 damn that one's got a this one's got a 34:52 bit of a sort of hybrid weird ass front 34:54 end that you can't tell what it is sort 34:57 of a Mustang sort of of a 34:58 [Laughter] 35:03 pinto yeah all 35:06 right let me see there we 35:09 go okay 35:11 um so let's 35:19 see a little girl with curly red hair 35:22 and a little 35:25 boy with wavy brown hair 35:31 smiling and each 35:33 holding a 35:35 white poster board 35:39 period they are about 10 years 35:42 old and the girls poster 35:52 says AI learning lab is hosted by a dum 35:57 dum 35:58 period and the boy poster says join the 36:03 AI Salon today period it doesn't suck 36:08 period out of focus in the 36:11 background their classmates are playing 36:14 in the classroom 36:16 period all right let's see if this let's 36:19 see if we got any prompt coherence 36:22 here holy [ __ ] that was fast 36:25 [Laughter] 36:44 oh my god there you go people uh we've 36:48 got some fairly solid prompt coherence 36:50 and damn was that fast AI learning lab 36:54 hosted by a dumb dumb join the AI to 36:58 soan today don't 37:05 suck oh my gosh I literally stepped away 37:07 for a second and it was done no like it 37:10 it generated it in like a 37:12 second like those realtime image 37:15 generators they tend to suck they tend 37:17 to generate images that suck but like I 37:20 mean kids 37:23 folks 37:26 um countrymen lend me your ears this is 37:29 uh this is a bit Bonkers isn't 37:38 it all right let's see how their Yan 37:42 faces are 37:44 looking have a little bit of shark eyes 37:46 but actually wait hang on let me make 37:49 them brighter so I can see it yeah 37:51 there's a little color in there there's 37:52 a little color not they're not just 37:54 shark 37:56 eyes that looks pretty [ __ ] good 38:02 [Laughter] 38:04 damn she's the 38:07 [Laughter] 38:11 best oh poor little darling only has 38:14 three 38:15 fingers poor 38:22 thing yeah hey but not for nothing 38:25 Trixie you spelled dum dum wrong 38:28 so who's the dumb dumb now not going to 38:30 be called out by a 10-year-old 38:32 8-year-old seven-year-old six-year-old 38:34 girl however old she is she's not 10 but 38:38 whatever she looks young for her age or 38:40 wait she looks yeah young for her 38:44 age AI learning La hosted a dumb 38:53 Dum all right is that flux yes this is 38:56 flux they're parents are related but 38:59 really nice people 39:02 oh she's just small she's so small wait 39:05 does she have extra fingers on that hand 39:07 no she just listen it's sometimes you 39:11 know the jeans get [ __ ] 39:15 up poor 39:20 thing let's try this one again 39:23 though um 39:28 I'm going to copy this a little girl 39:30 okay let's 39:31 see I'll say 39:34 paste 39:38 okay she has a big red bow in her 39:41 hair and a red dress with white polka 39:45 dots period he's wearing a baseball cap 39:49 that says Story vine 40:04 that is dark 40:07 blue with orange letters 40:15 period the writing on their 40:18 posters is done with paints and markers 40:22 and is very 40:25 creative 1, 2 1000 3 40:30 1000 40:32 damn 40:38 damn the the text ain't perfect but come 40:42 on go go fix it in Photoshop you lazy 40:46 people I want the letters to be perfect 40:48 I don't want to have to do any work Kyle 40:50 when's it going to be 40:52 perfect holy [ __ ] was that 40:55 fast I mean sure they look like a a a 41:00 hot chocolate an oval te ad from 41:03 1957 41:06 but look they got storyvine right a 41:09 really cute storyvine hat she's wearing 41:11 her cute little bow in her 41:16 head this is quite something you can fix 41:19 it in canva too Tad it wasn't so quick 41:23 quick so it could think first yeah I 41:26 know does she have normal finger she 41:28 does but his 41:32 sign is just stuck to his chest 41:36 apparently but damn that's pretty 41:38 something all right let's let's go into 41:40 the world of fashion shall 41:43 we 41:46 um create a 3x4 tall 41:54 image of an incredibly innovative 41:59 Fashion 42:01 Show on a Milan 42:06 Runway where there are three 42:10 models at different stages of the runway 42:13 with one of them right at the end in 42:15 front of the camera 42:17 period all of the fashion is Extreme and 42:21 is inspired by exotic 42:25 extinct birds 42:30 period see what that does 1 1,00 2 1000 42:34 3 42:35 1000 42:37 amazing holy 42:39 [ __ ] it didn't make it vertical so 42:42 that's that's a bit of a disappointment 42:45 but that's uh I didn't I didn't want the 42:48 extinct bird so we got the stuffed dodo 42:51 bird on the stage in Milan I didn't 42:54 actually want the bird on the stage 43:01 poor kid has no arms I know she the the 43:04 other girl had three fingers and that 43:06 boy didn't have any arms what's 43:10 happening and this 43:13 one did they really bring Birds to a 43:15 fashion 43:17 show well they're trying to be edgy the 43:19 birds [ __ ] all over the 43:22 runway elegant 43:25 fail yeah actually you know what 43:27 everyone the the fails are getting more 43:30 elegant aren't they that's really 43:36 funny let's see how this bird 43:41 looks that it's weird it doesn't look it 43:44 definitely looks 43:47 stylized huh how's she 43:51 look a little ridiculously proportioned 43:54 but you know 43:55 model AI model 44:01 huh all right how's 44:06 that so yeah so listen I don't pay for 44:10 po so if you have not played with flux 44:13 yet flux is the image model so what if 44:15 you're wondering what flux is everyone's 44:17 talking about 44:18 flux let me go back and I'm going to 44:20 explore and I'm going to search for flux 44:23 f l 44:25 ux flux is an 44:28 opsource image 44:31 model where they've they've provided the 44:34 weights as well as the The open- Source 44:36 model and what that means is the open 44:39 source Community can modify and create 44:42 these things called luras which are 44:43 different 44:45 styles 44:47 and it looks like they're building a 44:50 bunch of bots in Depot so there's image 44:53 prompt 44:54 GPT oh that's just a prompt writer image 44:57 reels flux flux based image rendering 45:00 flux Pro flux Snell flux Dev so there's 45:04 three different ones flux 45:07 FL Super HD realistic new all right I'll 45:11 bite fulllength body beautiful gorgeous 45:15 young Wonder Woman age 18 movie style 45:18 Warrior optional add aspect 3 to five or 45:22 aspect 5x3 all right I'll bite let's go 45:26 we're going to go as spe 45:28 3x5 we're going to 45:32 go fashion model on the 45:36 runway with dramatic 45:40 lighting extreme 45:44 makeup and an 45:48 award-winning 45:53 dress designed by IM pay 46:00 it's Pei I think 46:06 oops and then I'll 46:14 go 2 1000 3 1000 4 1000 5 46:20 1000 that's an extreme dress designed by 46:25 imp come on 46:28 that's 46:46 crap that's um pretty [ __ ] 46:54 realistic any weirdness 46:58 oh her ring finger her her ring finger 47:02 her ring finger was cut off in a tractor 47:04 accident when she was 47:06 eight but she had the fingernail 47:09 surgically 47:10 replaced but oh 47:14 uhoh we got we got some claw hand going 47:17 on here people this is not 47:21 good wait what's going on in the 47:23 distance do we have 47:26 good that looks 47:29 normal a little white but you know it's 47:37 Europe huh how's the fabric 47:41 look fabric looks 47:45 good all right that's kind of cool let's 47:48 do 47:54 um where was I 48:01 oh closeup of a rugged cowboy in a 48:05 weather worn leather 48:09 hat 48:18 period the years of trails are etched in 48:21 the wrinkles around his 48:25 eyes that are piercing 48:37 green with an impressive 48:41 tan and an 48:43 attitude as 48:46 long as the Setting 48:51 Sun I don't know what the [ __ ] I just 48:53 said but let's see if we get a sexy 48:55 cowboy m SE the 48:58 [Laughter] 49:03 cowboy hey Cowboy 49:06 listen listen this Cowboy so so I was I 49:10 was um I was I was at the bar and uh 49:16 this Cowboy walked in and I thought well 49:19 isn't he rugged 49:21 [Laughter] 49:30 I mean seriously you could make an ad 49:32 out of some of these things it looks a 49:34 little plasticky in the skin but not 49:39 bad it's not a really worn leather hat 49:43 but you know I'm just [ __ ] around 49:45 here if you really if you really played 49:46 with this it looks like you're going to 49:47 be able to do some interesting 49:51 things let's see image real shell turbo 49:55 speed image generation with 50:01 Schnell 50:09 official illustration in the style of 50:12 Ralph stemman of a 70s muscle car in an 50:16 abandoned 50:18 Factory 1 21000 50:23 31000 doesn't look like Ralph stemman at 50:25 all but an 50:28 illustration 70s muscle cart it's 50:30 abandon Factory this is this pretty 50:34 remarkable this is Free People this is 50:36 free and if you if you really want you 50:40 can as I forget who was doing it here 50:43 tonight someone's doing it here tonight 50:45 um you can 50:48 download the model and and run it on 50:51 your local machine if you've got like 50:53 a like an M1 Mac or a decent PC that's 50:58 got you know good 51:01 graphics you can do this run it locally 51:05 you're not even running it on anyone 51:06 else's servers you can make images like 51:08 this you too can make images like 51:14 this I mean what's what's what's pretty 51:16 staggering about this model is it's it's 51:19 what three weeks old it's it's very very 51:21 new it's very very good it's very very 51:24 free and very very open so now imagine 51:28 what the development Community is going 51:31 to do with a model this 51:32 good um over the next 6 months this is 51:36 going to get shockingly good plus who I 51:39 don't even know who made this thing who 51:40 who made flux does anyone 51:43 know all right well that's po so po po 51:48 is like chat gbt except there's all 51:50 these other things that you can play 51:51 with and if you pay the 20 bucks a month 51:54 to PO you get access to all this other 51:56 stuff 51:58 um at this point I I am leaning away 52:02 from recommending the 20 bucks a month 52:04 to chat GPT because they're just not 52:06 [ __ ] launching but that said let's go 52:09 to chat 52:10 GPT because I want to show you something 52:12 that Danielle gave me the idea to do 52:14 that I tried it right before I came on 52:17 live and it's really 52:20 interesting so all right let me actually 52:23 I haven't looked at any comments does 52:24 anyone have any comments if if any mods 52:27 if there's anything that I missed that 52:29 you want to post feel free to post 52:31 it is anyone else feeling so overwhelmed 52:35 and underwhelmed absolutely an 52:37 absolutely 52:39 both Black Forest Labs okay so go check 52:43 out black forest Labs they're the ones 52:44 that put out flux I don't know the story 52:46 of them I don't know if they're um how 52:50 well funded they are I don't know what 52:51 their business model is I don't know why 52:53 they put this thing out for free but 52:55 it's out there so there you go 52:58 black something black for laabs elon's 53:00 grock is going to have it 53:02 implemented oh they're going to have 53:04 flux implemented nice well that would be 53:06 nice and I it it looks like grock 2 is 53:09 out it also looks like um perplexity got 53:13 some sort of an 53:14 upgrade I didn't I couldn't get access 53:17 to grock 2 but I saw a screenshot of 53:19 someone that had 53:20 it update I bonded with strawberry it's 53:23 a thousand times better 53:27 than Pi exciting progress 53:31 interesting next Vision 53:34 33 all right very cool what site was he 53:38 just on I was just on Po 53:40 poe.com 53:42 Po's really cool there's lots of 53:44 different models you can play with there 53:45 it's a good place to go compare 53:49 models 53:51 um I was thinking the same thing today 53:54 not feeling my value from open AI 53:57 I think it's a force for the trees 54:00 situation what you're you're sort of 54:02 overwhelm underwhelm and 54:05 I what's going on with me right now is 54:13 um I think we all know and Ann I mean 54:16 you know this is as as much as anyone I 54:18 think we all know right 54:21 now that you can use generative AI for 54:24 specific things so long is there's a 54:27 human 54:28 involved and it mostly saves you time 54:32 you can create automations you can get 54:35 stuff done faster like I think 54:36 particularly in 54:38 ideation um all of these tools are 54:41 remarkable they all every one of them to 54:44 a tool fall down on their face the 54:48 minute you try to do something complete 54:51 with AI almost everything you produce 54:54 requires some large amount of rework I I 54:57 did a so I'm working on it was inspired 55:01 in in one of the lives here I'm working 55:03 on a musical right now called Sydney and 55:06 um we're getting close to having it 55:09 blocked out and so 55:13 today we edited um a one pager so I 55:17 created a one pager for 55:19 Sydney using chat GPT and it was quite 55:22 good and when you read read through it 55:24 it was quite good and they were like oh 55:26 we just got to fix these two words and 55:27 then you go in and you fix those two 55:29 words and then they kind of unravel and 55:32 you realize oh I've got to go fix this 55:34 sentence and then that unravels back to 55:36 oh [ __ ] the this whole sentence is 55:38 flipped backwards 55:40 and like it's just 55:42 it's like I feel like AI right now on 55:45 the surface is perfect but the minute 55:49 you like look close at it it kind of 55:51 goes it falls apart so for 55:54 me I'm I'm in this sort of waiting 55:58 period where I want the tools to be good 56:00 enough that I can just use them like 56:03 like what I have the fantasy in my head 56:05 of that's not there and the longer this 56:08 time goes on it's been I don't know four 56:10 or five or six months now where we 56:13 haven't really seen we've seen a bunch 56:14 of other things catch up to chat 56:17 gp4 but we haven't seen a significant 56:20 Improvement and I think strawberry will 56:23 be that um I should probably talk about 56:27 today too um what happened today or what 56:30 didn't happen today let me show you let 56:32 me show you I we'll start with chat GPT 56:35 I'll try to I'll try to not be too chat 56:37 add 56:41 tonight that's funny 56:45 um okay historically chat GPT was not 56:49 really good at if you gave it multistep 56:53 if you said I want you to do these 56:55 series of things in a row it would kind 56:57 of do the first one and maybe start the 56:58 second one and then sort of [ __ ] the bed 57:00 right and just pet her out and then if 57:03 you'd say I want you to make me a whole 57:04 bunch of images or whatever it would 57:05 make you one and then not make you 57:07 others 57:09 um apparently sometime last week today's 57:13 Tuesday so I'm guessing Monday or 57:15 Tuesday of last 57:17 week GPT 40 gp4 Omni got 57:23 upgraded um open AI confirmed this 57:26 yesterday 57:28 that for the past 57:29 week this has been a new model my 57:34 suspicion is that it's the 57:36 gp4 Omni large model which is the 405 57:41 billion parameter model the one that we 57:43 were playing with before was the 70 57:45 billion parameter model and then you've 57:47 got GPT 40 mini which is the um 7 57:52 billion parameter model or uh 13 maybe 57:55 and then you have G pt4 Legacy this is 57:58 the old 1.8 trillion parameter model so 58:03 you know these things are much smaller 58:06 and and good but apparently this gp4 o 58:12 is the new one so watch 58:16 this I'm going to 58:21 go I want you to act as an award-winning 58:24 children's book author 58:31 and I want you 58:34 to create a book 58:38 for early 58:47 teens 58:53 that has entrepreneurship as a 58:57 theme but 59:00 disguised 59:05 in a fantasy world 59:11 period the first thing I want you to 59:18 do is 59:23 consider six different options 59:27 then I want you to choose the one you 59:29 feel is 59:32 strongest then I want you to write an 59:35 outline for the 59:37 book then I want you 59:40 to write the text for the first 10 59:47 pages and I want you to create an 59:49 illustration for each of those 10 pages 59:54 period the text on each 59:59 page should be written in I Amic 1:00:06 pentameter and each 1:00:10 page should stand on its own as well as 1:00:13 being part of a linear 1:00:16 narrative 1:00:19 period okay that's a big long ass thing 1:00:21 so it should give us some amount of 1:00:23 ideas pick one write an outline write 1:00:28 the 10 pages and then generate 10 1:00:30 images Kyle I'm done I'm doing a course 1:00:34 on AI writing especially editing oh good 1:00:36 yeah it's it it there needs to be a 1:00:39 course for 1:00:41 that all right let's see what this thing 1:00:43 does memory updated which is interesting 1:00:45 that it did that six concepts of fantasy 1:00:48 theme The Guild of crafty Traders the 1:00:50 enchanted Workshop dragon's Ledger 1:00:53 alchemist's 1:00:54 Market the kingdom of in aaria I like 1:00:57 that 1:00:58 one selection of the strongest concept 1:01:01 we like the dragon's Ledger it stands 1:01:02 out as the strongest 1:01:05 concept so here's the 1:01:07 outline introduction to the world 1:01:09 discover the ledger so look see what 1:01:11 it's doing here where it's doing like 1:01:13 these steps in and of themselves would 1:01:16 it would normally stop you couldn't do 1:01:18 this kind of runon sentence kind of 1:01:20 [ __ ] I just did text for the first 1:01:22 10 pages in lands where dragons Wings do 1:01:25 cast their might y Kai a soul of humble 1:01:29 birth did dwell so this is I Amic 1:01:32 pentameter within a world where wealth 1:01:34 and power bright were worlded by scales 1:01:36 and Flames a draconic spell so that 1:01:39 one's slightly off but close upon a day 1:01:42 when skies were dimmed by Cloud Kai did 1:01:45 find The Ledger okay so it's doing this 1:01:49 and now it should also be doing the 1:01:51 images so there's the description of the 1:01:52 images now I'll create the images 1:01:57 unbelievable page one uh and I'm just 1:02:01 going to type all so it stopped after 1:02:03 the first one so I'm just going to type 1:02:04 the word 1:02:21 all wait uh it did did it not understand 1:02:24 oh it didn't understand that was a 1:02:25 shitty thing 1:02:27 sorry 1:02:29 make 1:02:31 all 1:02:40 images I I don't 1:02:42 know why they did not release strawberry 1:02:45 why did I get it I have no [ __ ] idea 1:02:48 Quantum 33 I really don't 1:02:52 um what 1:02:55 it what what it indicates to me is that 1:02:58 they're probably going to roll it out 1:02:59 wide and they probably just threw it to 1:03:02 some some random accounts to see if it 1:03:05 breaks or or something like that so it 1:03:08 might just be that you're you're an 1:03:10 inadvertent 1:03:12 um uh tester I don't know I don't know 1:03:15 it's very 1:03:16 strange but I I'll talk about what I 1:03:19 learned today and and what I think's 1:03:23 coming so these illustration styles are 1:03:26 all kind of different which is 1:03:29 bad so but I didn't I didn't tell it to 1:03:31 pick an illustration style so 1:03:38 whatever 1:03:41 anyway so I would say if you have not 1:03:44 played with chat GPT uh in a while I 1:03:47 would go back to it it looks like it's 1:03:50 gotten different if not 1:03:52 better the fact that it can do these 1:03:55 long sequences of events you could 1:03:57 probably do some multi-step problem 1:04:00 solving actually you know let's go let's 1:04:02 go try to do that oh we could also build 1:04:04 Jim's GPT 1:04:09 here um 1:04:32 go research the results of the 1:04:38 Olympics and 1:04:45 write five LinkedIn 1:04:50 posts each from the point of 1:04:53 view of one of these five countries 1:04:57 colon the United 1:05:01 States 1:05:10 China um 1:05:16 Spain 1:05:18 Japan and 1:05:20 Brazil period 1:05:28 each 1:05:33 article should be written in 1:05:36 English but have the cultural flavor of 1:05:40 the country it's being written 1:05:44 from and take great 1:05:47 pride 1:05:49 in their athletes 1:05:52 accomplishments featuring 1:05:57 the most 1:06:01 dramatic stories period for each 1:06:06 article create a 1:06:10 photorealistic image of the moment where 1:06:14 one of their 1:06:18 athletes won their event period 1:06:38 like 1:06:39 that that complicated a prompt 1:06:42 historically it it just like one of the 1:06:46 things that we learned okay here's a 1:06:49 here's 1:06:53 a um 1:06:56 very early on in the AI learning lab I 1:06:58 was like okay you got to learn prompt 1:06:59 engineering and then I quickly got to 1:07:00 the point I'm like [ __ ] prompt 1:07:02 engineering like wait no this isn't 1:07:04 prompt engineering you should talk to 1:07:06 this thing like you're talking and then 1:07:09 we all learned how to prompt and however 1:07:10 we learn to prompt some people are 1:07:12 prompt Engineers some people just talk 1:07:13 to it and everything in 1:07:16 between but we all kind of learned how 1:07:18 it 1:07:20 works it's it doesn't work the same this 1:07:23 is not what I learn like what I Learned 1:07:26 was you don't put too much [ __ ] in in it 1:07:28 you put in little chunks and you go back 1:07:30 and forth and back and forth and back 1:07:32 and forth you can't just tell it to 1:07:33 vomit out a bunch of 1:07:37 stuff United States celebrating the 1:07:39 resilience of our athletes in Paris 1:07:42 United States showcased an incredible 1:07:50 determination US Women's Basketball team 1:07:52 made history securing the eighth 1:07:54 consecutive gold medal in nail biting 1:07:56 finish against France the victories a 1:07:59 yeah did you see that where the the 1:08:02 French woman shot a three but her toe 1:08:04 was on the line so it only counted for 1:08:06 two the journey to gold was filled with 1:08:08 intense competition but our team's 1:08:10 unyielding focus and dedication China 1:08:13 once again proven its place among the 1:08:14 world's Elite athletes these are too 1:08:17 short but that's all right see if it 1:08:19 made the 1:08:21 images didn't 1:08:26 make the 1:08:47 images USA 1:08:51 Women's in Paris so it got that right 1:08:56 they look cartoonish in their 1:08:58 proportions those women but you know 1:09:00 what are you going to 1:09:04 do China 1:09:07 China and 1:09:09 China um I don't think that looks like a 1:09:12 specific athlete that looks like a 1:09:14 propaganda 1:09:16 poster there's 1:09:19 Spain who's that yeah 1:09:21 espia for basketball I guess they won 1:09:24 bronze 1:09:28 there's 1:09:29 Japan and 1:09:31 there's 1:09:35 Brazil huh there you 1:09:38 go pretty 1:09:45 something wonder I wonder where else 1:09:47 it's gotten 1:09:48 better that's you know it's another 1:09:50 thing that I feel like open AI is 1:09:52 dropping the ball on why would they 1:10:00 they have to know that people are pissed 1:10:01 off they're not shipping 1:10:03 anything right they have to know that so 1:10:07 why would they ship something and not 1:10:09 make 1:10:10 [ __ ] shout it from the Treetops I 1:10:13 don't [ __ ] get 1:10:16 it Gemini live voice just 1:10:19 now but Joker isn't don't you have to 1:10:22 have a specific phone isn't it like a 1:10:24 Samsung phone model 1:10:27 28.63 point2 in good Google 1:10:31 fashion or can we use it on the um is it 1:10:34 somewhere on the 1:10:36 Internet is it 1:10:39 Gemini hang on where Is It 1:10:44 joker Jem inni live 1:10:53 voice Gemini's voice mode is here 1:11:01 here yeah at the pixel 9 1:11:08 event is it somewhere else 1:11:12 Joker pixel 1:11:15 9s Gemini gemini.com 1:11:22 gem. goole.com 1:11:30 I ain't got 1:11:32 it it may just be an announcement oh 1:11:37 Joker Joker's joking on 1:11:42 me um it would be nice if it came to the 1:11:46 web why doesn't the pck Show the real 1:11:49 people who won the gold oh I don't know 1:11:52 cuz partially I mean mostly because I 1:11:54 just gave it a really shitty prompt 1:11:56 right if I like like what I should have 1:11:58 done was I should have said re actually 1:12:01 you know what let let me go do that 1:12:02 let's let's go do that 1:12:08 um okay so here's here's what I'm going 1:12:10 to 1:12:16 do create a 1:12:19 table 1:12:21 of all of the athletes or teams that won 1:12:27 medals for 1:12:31 Brazil and it should include the name of 1:12:34 the athlete the 1:12:38 sport the medal that they 1:12:41 won and any 1:12:43 notable 1:12:45 stats like times comma World Records 1:12:50 Etc 1:12:53 period sort the table 1:12:59 by metal and 1:13:12 Sport 1:13:14 period 1:13:16 additionally add a column 1:13:29 for notable 1:13:31 achievement and 1:13:34 identify five 1:13:37 athletes that should be 1:13:39 featured in an article 1:13:42 period then write an 1:13:45 article that captures all of the 1:13:48 metals but features the five notable 1:13:52 athletes or teams period 1:13:57 then create an image for each of the 1:14:01 athletes or 1:14:03 teams that 1:14:05 are featured 1:14:13 period it's probably not going to know 1:14:16 what they look like 1:14:19 I like I think what you'd have to do is 1:14:22 you'd probably have to go get a a real 1:14:24 picture of one of those athletes and put 1:14:26 it in 1:14:29 there so Rebecca Andre artistic 1:14:33 gymnastics Gold 1:14:54 14.93% ra led the charge with a gold 1:14:57 medal in the floor exercise her routine 1:14:59 showcasing blah blah blah beach 1:15:01 volleyball Duo Silva and Santos 1:15:03 continued Brazil's tradition of 1:15:05 excellence in the sport um in the waters 1:15:08 of Paris once again showed why they're 1:15:10 the world's best in the in canoe 1:15:13 Sprint she she his silver in the C1 1000 1:15:17 meter canoe Sprint that canoe Sprint 1:15:20 thing wild they're like up on one knee 1:15:23 like it's crazy 1:15:26 um lastly the young skateboarding 1:15:28 sensation Risa Leal added a bronze to 1:15:32 Brazil's tally together the athletes 1:15:34 were born blah blah blah image 1:15:37 creation there's her floor routine I 1:15:40 don't know if that looks like her I have 1:15:42 no [ __ ] idea um other images 1:15:55 this is quite impressive I got to 1:15:58 say I don't know if that looks like them 1:16:01 I I have no [ __ ] idea I assume this 1:16:04 is like you know generic Brazilian you 1:16:07 know hot beach volleyball 1:16:11 chick and and hot hot canoe Sprinter 1:16:15 [Laughter] 1:16:20 dude nice 1:16:27 there you 1:16:35 go try it try Gemini from the Google app 1:16:40 okay hang 1:16:42 on 1:16:45 Google I don't have to install here 1:16:48 Google utilities App Store hang on let 1:16:50 me go Get It download 1:17:00 can not 1:17:02 K hey gang what's happening 1:17:04 Allan because I remember Richard Simmons 1:17:07 having a headband and sweatbands and now 1:17:08 he doesn't have it I can't interrupt it 1:17:11 I'm late again Mr it is late 1:17:16 again all right Google where's Google 1:17:21 Voice where's Gemini do you want real 1:17:25 time 1:17:26 updates 1:17:28 sure 1:17:30 fine 1:17:32 translate homework I don't know what I'm 1:17:35 looking for here 1:17:44 Danielle 1:17:53 hello hello 1:17:55 here are some matching news 1:17:59 articles this is artlist.io 1:18:03 a 1:18:11 platform I got nothing here on the the 1:18:13 Google thing whatever all right 1:18:22 [Music] 1:18:25 maybe that's because he's dead I was 1:18:27 going to say that Vicky mine did not 1:18:30 sound like that at 1:18:32 all huh Can you interrupt yours Danielle 1:18:35 that's the the sign of if if you have 1:18:37 the new voice model is that you can 1:18:41 interrupt 1:18:44 it what was I about to go show 1:19:01 I'll Be Home for 1:19:03 Christmas you can count or something on 1:19:13 me yeah that's a weird one we're in some 1:19:16 sort of Ripple in time I agree with that 1:19:19 what what voice model my Google 1:19:21 Assistant didn't change oh you can plan 1:19:24 on me yeah that's not right you can plan 1:19:28 on me you can count on me now it's count 1:19:30 on me right it's count on me right 1:19:34 that's what I grew up with you can count 1:19:37 on 1:19:38 me I saw a new one I I just secretly 1:19:41 remember these native women putting disc 1:19:43 to their lips but now it's I don't know 1:19:45 what that 1:19:46 is oh you were planning on making Jim's 1:19:48 GPT I think it's going to be boring 1:19:50 we've done a bunch of tech stuff tonight 1:19:52 I I don't like doing stuff that's not 1:19:55 super visual cuz it's like it's hard to 1:19:56 read text on Tik Tok and it's going to 1:19:59 that's going to take me ages to [ __ ] 1:20:01 do so um so maybe I'll do that 1:20:05 tomorrow 1:20:11 um all right if anyone has any uh 1:20:14 questions comments thoughts oh you know 1:20:17 what I should do here's what I should do 1:20:18 while I'm still I'm still looking look 1:20:21 generic Brazilian volleyball players won 1:20:23 a gold medal 1:20:25 is that the 1:20:28 real 1:20:29 French well it's at least in France like 1:20:32 it I mean it's prompt coherence is 1:20:33 decent right there's at least the Eiffel 1:20:35 Tower with the Rings in the 1:20:37 sky I don't know if that's what those 1:20:39 women look like probably 1:20:42 not um 1:20:58 [Music] 1:21:04 all right where where did I put I wrote 1:21:08 about this somewhere I made a 1:21:11 post I think it was in an AI 1:21:16 Salon all right so let me go to the 1:21:18 strawberry 1:21:20 thing 1:21:22 um I am 1:21:25 the 1:21:30 world 1:21:36 right I thought it was I am in the world 1:21:41 emo 1:21:42 at I 1:21:53 am strawberry 1:22:08 [Music] 1:22:09 very okay I rule the 1:22:13 world so this 1:22:18 account for the past week has been 1:22:20 saying something Big's coming something 1:22:22 Big's coming something really big is 1:22:24 coming 1:22:27 and then he said it was coming next 1:22:30 Thursday so two days from 1:22:32 now and then in the last two days he's 1:22:35 like no it's coming on Tuesday it's 1:22:37 coming on Tuesday Tuesday 10: a.m. 1:22:38 Pacific Tuesday 10: a.m. Pacific it's 1:22:40 going to be big we're gonna have AGI 1:22:42 we're gonna have AGI we're gonna have a 1:22:43 it's awesome it's awesome it's 1:22:45 awesome 1:22:48 um what's confusing about this account 1:22:52 is that Sam mman responded to some of 1:22:56 the posts of it it's been Relentless in 1:22:59 its hyping of uh whatever's 1:23:04 coming um it's talking about project 1:23:06 strawberry which is open ai's name for 1:23:10 their project that is qar which is the 1:23:12 reasoning 1:23:13 engine and today came and at 10:00 a.m. 1:23:18 Pacific Time open AI actually did launch 1:23:20 something so the the fascinating thing 1:23:24 about this account is it's not just 1:23:27 [ __ ] like there is knowledge 1:23:31 here what what it came out today is 1:23:34 that 1:23:37 this hang 1:23:39 on this account 1:23:43 MTT m l t m e o n mulon 1:23:55 okay 1:24:01 so 1:24:10 today huge release by mulon incoming 1:24:14 possibly powered by open AI mysterious 1:24:16 qstar upgrade we don't know that but 1:24:18 possibly like I feel like there's some 1:24:20 connection to open AI here so mulon 1:24:24 announced a today and basically what 1:24:26 they 1:24:30 said is that that site I rule the world 1:24:34 M 1:24:35 Mo I wondered what the mo was the the 1:24:38 account the strawberry 1:24:41 account is at I I rule the 1:24:47 worldo 1:24:49 mulon right so what they said today is 1:24:52 that that account is an agent is an 1:24:55 autonomous agent it's not a person it's 1:24:58 an autonomous agent that's been hyping 1:25:01 up this launch 1:25:03 so that it's gotten 1:25:08 weird makes 1:25:11 sense that not everyone said it's so 1:25:14 weird that it's a bot is pretty 1:25:16 impressive so um let me see if I can 1:25:20 find the quote the The Prompt that that 1:25:23 um let we we'll do mulon and then we'll 1:25:26 do at 1:25:29 I 1:25:32 rule 1:25:34 the world m 1:25:39 o oh Worlds 1:25:43 world no I rule uh the 1:25:47 [Laughter] 1:25:50 world the 1:25:52 world okay 1:26:03 so div gar I I saw this guy in a in a 1:26:07 Twitter spaces today that page doesn't 1:26:10 exist of course it 1:26:12 doesn't um I rule the world brought to 1:26:16 you by agent strawberry enjoy 1:26:18 confirmation mulon runs the IR rule the 1:26:21 world Mo account 1:26:25 uh not multim it's uh mul multi multi on 1:26:32 mu LT like multi multiplier o n 1:26:40 mulon and they're the ones 1:26:43 behind that 1:26:45 account so that's one 1:26:48 thing that 1:26:51 the that it is confirmed 1:26:54 that that account is an agent I have a 1:26:59 strong suspicion that there is some 1:27:01 connection to open AI just because 1:27:03 they've got specific information that 1:27:05 seems like inside information which is 1:27:07 probably 1:27:08 just they're using some new technology 1:27:12 to run that 1:27:17 agent what this account said today so so 1:27:20 what open aai announced today is that 1:27:22 they've got a new version of whatever 1:27:25 the state-of-the-art benchmarking 1:27:27 protocol is they announced a new version 1:27:31 of 1:27:32 that what this account said was the 1:27:36 reason that's 1:27:38 important is that whatever's coming 1:27:42 from open 1:27:44 AI is not actually Benchmark on the old 1:27:48 benchmarking standard because it's a 1:27:50 different thing so this new benchmarking 1:27:54 thing that open AI put out 1:27:56 today is going is going to allow them to 1:27:59 compare whatever is their new thing with 1:28:02 the other [ __ ] in the 1:28:04 world so so it is significant but it's 1:28:08 it's significant more for developers 1:28:10 than end users and then what this 1:28:12 account also said is they're actually 1:28:15 dropping a new model on 1:28:20 Thursday I'll still go 1:28:23 with I think what they're going to drop 1:28:25 is strawberry right we 1:28:27 have at at 1:28:29 least one or two users in this channel 1:28:33 that have strawberry in their app we've 1:28:36 got a screenshot of it um and it it was 1:28:39 behaving differently than how chat gpts 1:28:42 behaved 1:28:43 before um so we we possibly get a new 1:28:47 model on Thursday plus we've 1:28:50 got um chat gbt is behaving different 1:28:53 than it's ever behaved D before so I 1:28:56 think the gp4 Omni large model is 1:29:01 there strawberry is not so let me 1:29:04 explain strawberry 1:29:07 and gp4 1:29:12 Omni this shit's stupid and you don't 1:29:15 really need to pay attention to this it 1:29:18 doesn't really [ __ ] 1:29:20 matter um 1:29:39 all 1:29:42 right this is 1:29:43 gp4 1:29:45 Omni it is a 1:29:48 truly well I don't think you need to say 1:29:50 truly it is a multimodal 1:29:55 do you call it a large language model I 1:29:57 think you do because you talk to it with 1:29:59 words it is a multimodal large language 1:30:02 model that can 1:30:04 see hear 1:30:08 talk um not only hear your words but 1:30:11 hear your emotional stuff and possibly 1:30:16 even make video and and see 1:30:20 video but we don't video is not clear 1:30:24 cuz video might just be a series of 1:30:26 images like it's it's not clear that it 1:30:28 does native video but anyway this is the 1:30:30 new smaller just as powerful as the old 1:30:34 gp4 massive 1:30:37 thing that is the underlying large 1:30:40 language model with all the knowledge in 1:30:44 it this is chat GPT so chat GPT is the 1:30:49 thing that you type into and it gives 1:30:51 you answers and it's got code 1:30:52 interpreter and it makes like when it 1:30:55 does do it actually goes out to a 1:30:57 different model to make the image and 1:30:58 brings it back but when you ask chat GPT 1:31:01 it says Hey model here's this prompt 1:31:04 give me an answer and then I'll spit it 1:31:06 out to the user so that's chat 1:31:10 gbt this is 1:31:15 strawberry it's a different little box I 1:31:18 think the way this is going to work is 1:31:22 this you make a prompt 1:31:25 it asks the large language model for the 1:31:29 answer the large language model 1:31:31 generates the answer and then strawberry 1:31:33 is a reasoning engine that basically 1:31:35 looks at it and says did you get it 1:31:38 right and if not let's fix it before we 1:31:40 give it to the 1:31:42 user so I think this is what we get on 1:31:46 Thursday I don't 1:31:50 know I'm saying it with confidence 1:31:53 because I have a degree in 1:31:57 acting you can 1:31:59 [Applause] 1:32:05 make does he does he have any 1:32:07 qualifications does he does he what did 1:32:09 did he go he went to school for he went 1:32:11 to like Stamford or 1:32:13 MIT he he went to acting school oh my 1:32:17 oh H clever uh did did he go to uh 1:32:23 postgrad uate uh for anything computer 1:32:26 related no no interesting interesting 1:32:29 and why do people watch why do why do 1:32:32 people watch 1:32:33 this because he's 1:32:35 knowledgeable but he's got no 1:32:40 qualifications what do you mean you 1:32:42 don't know you're supposed to know 1:32:45 everything no Source Camp I'm supposed 1:32:48 to act like I know 1:32:50 everything big 1:32:52 difference same result same result in 1:32:55 this world you don't need to know 1:32:57 anything you just need to act like you 1:32:59 know 1:33:00 things men have been doing it for 1:33:05 Millennia well let me tell you let me 1:33:07 tell you a little missy what what's 1:33:10 going on here so there's this thing 1:33:11 called the Internet it's so funny we 1:33:14 were I was 1:33:17 um my co-founder of Story vine is a lady 1:33:21 um 1:33:22 Monique um she's a badass she worked on 1:33:26 Wall Street she was like an analyst on 1:33:27 Wall Street um she's the president and 1:33:30 CEO of the company she's like as we 1:33:32 describe it um I'm the reason storyvine 1:33:35 exists she's the reason story Vine's 1:33:37 still in business she's just killer with 1:33:40 numbers so we're out to lunch with some 1:33:43 money douchebag 1:33:45 once and we're talking about something 1:33:48 and then she's talking about like 1:33:51 business and closing business and how do 1:33:53 we grow the company and this and that 1:33:55 and this guy 1:33:57 goes like it was it was staggering he 1:34:00 goes he goes Monique listen listen let 1:34:03 me let me let me try to tell you about 1:34:06 how this works so in business there's 1:34:09 this thing called revenue and so if you 1:34:13 make sales and you you close a sale then 1:34:17 that makes you more money which is more 1:34:20 Revenue was like it's like oh my God she 1:34:23 was a Wall Street analyst you [ __ ] 1:34:26 dick H men are 1:34:30 insufferable there's this thing called 1:34:32 Revenue if you he literally said if you 1:34:34 sell more business you make more money 1:34:38 and that means more Revenue I almost 1:34:41 [ __ ] punched the guy in the face she 1:34:43 was she was like you were more upset 1:34:45 than I was she she's used to it she 1:34:48 worked on on Wall Street she was she's a 1:34:50 tough cookie 1:34:54 that wasn't a joke it was not a joke 1:34:56 like the guy was like and he kind of 1:34:58 talked like Monique Monique listen he 1:35:01 interrupted her which is you know it's 1:35:02 good if you're going to mansplain you 1:35:04 want to interrupt so he interrupted her 1:35:08 so let me explain to you how this works 1:35:10 the in business there's this thing 1:35:11 called Revenue so if you sell more 1:35:14 business you make more money therefore 1:35:17 you have more 1:35:20 Revenue she just went you know I worked 1:35:23 on Wall Street 1:35:30 right oh and that's the other thing 1:35:32 douchebags that talk like that when you 1:35:33 call him on their [ __ ] he like he 1:35:35 literally did this he he was like in the 1:35:37 middle of his bloviating and she goes 1:35:39 you know I worked on Wall Street right 1:35:40 and he went of course I 1:35:43 mean he literally couldn't talk words 1:35:46 did not 1:35:49 form pull out the the the an Murphy's 1:35:52 mansplaining GPT for him exactly it was 1:35:56 so bad oh man that it was beyond 1:36:00 mansplaining it it was just like I don't 1:36:03 know it it was just stupid people are 1:36:06 [ __ ] stupid you 1:36:09 know Monique 1:36:12 listen in business there's this thing 1:36:14 called Revenue it's like damn he should 1:36:18 have been saying that to me like listen 1:36:20 actor boy 1:36:28 oh man all 1:36:30 right I'm going to get on out of Dodge 1:36:33 so um what we didn't do tonight yet 1:36:37 we'll do it 1:36:39 quickly if you're new here we got 77 1:36:41 people in here there probably some new 1:36:43 people 1:36:45 um I know I act like a bit of a a tool 1:36:49 on on the old site here but the the 1:36:51 mission here is actually fairly serious 1:36:55 the idea with this Channel and with this 1:37:00 community is 1:37:04 that AI is coming whether you want it or 1:37:06 not ah thank you very much Lord digital 1:37:09 Gods thank you for the chicken 1:37:12 head I love it when a chicken dances on 1:37:14 my head there's nothing better other 1:37:17 than you know when someone gifts me a 1:37:19 wiener 1:37:25 and I will thank them for that wiener 1:37:30 uh 1:37:32 um but the the whole idea of of this 1:37:37 Channel and of the salon is that AI is 1:37:40 coming whether you want it or 1:37:42 not if you think the robots are going to 1:37:45 kill us I get it that's 1:37:49 scary if you think that um AI is 1:37:53 stealing from artists I understand I've 1:37:56 written seven screenplays I know the 1:37:58 that world well I understand I'm a 1:38:02 photographer um if you think AI is the 1:38:06 greatest thing since sliced bread 1:38:09 awesome if you think AI is imperfect and 1:38:13 you can wait for it to get better for 3 1:38:15 or 4 1:38:18 years all of those 1:38:21 conversations about the validity of of 1:38:24 it where it is how good it is how 1:38:27 valuable it is how evil it 1:38:29 is those conversations are 1:38:33 independent of the fact that it's 1:38:37 here those conversations are independent 1:38:40 of the fact that it's going to change 1:38:43 everything the fact that it isn't 1:38:46 [ __ ] perfect right now just means 1:38:49 we're 1:38:50 early if you look at if you don't know 1:38:53 the the the there's a Wharton business 1:38:55 school Professor named Ethan 1:38:58 mullik and he just wrote an article 1:39:00 called change blindness and he said look 1:39:04 how far we've come in the past 21 months 1:39:06 and he shows here's where we were with 1:39:08 images here's where we are today here's 1:39:10 where we were with music Here's Where We 1:39:11 Are today so it's a short little 1:39:14 article but the amount of progress that 1:39:17 that we've seen so this Channel's been 1:39:19 around since December of 22 so 18 months 1:39:23 something like that 1:39:26 the amount of progress that we've seen 1:39:28 just hanging out here is staggering it's 1:39:32 mind it's it's mind 1:39:34 shattering so what this channel is about 1:39:37 what the AI salon's about is 1:39:41 choosing to get curious about AI to be 1:39:44 optimistic about AI to play with AI to 1:39:47 come at it with a playful attitude it is 1:39:50 completely overwhelming and as an Murphy 1:39:53 said it is both overwhelming and 1:39:55 underwhelming at the same time we're 1:39:57 very 1:39:58 early so if you're playing with 1:40:02 AI play with other people that are 1:40:04 playing with it that's what this group 1:40:06 is all about it's a really cool group 1:40:09 it's called the salon doesn't cost any 1:40:10 money oh here it comes here it comes oh 1:40:13 he had that gold button you can make 1:40:15 money I I understand how it works now we 1:40:18 sit through two hours of nonsense and 1:40:19 then here comes the hard pitch here 1:40:21 comes the hard cell here I can't oh it's 1:40:23 it's free oh oh oh well H uh you know 1:40:27 what I bet they're going to get us on a 1:40:29 seminar right it's one of those 3 week 1:40:31 seminars it's going to be a lot right 1:40:34 it's is it the one where you get four in 1:40:36 four payments for the seminar I bet it 1:40:38 is I bet that sounds right to me so it's 1:40:41 free so go there that's our website 1:40:44 scroll down click on join the community 1:40:47 we just completely rearchitecturing 1:40:53 follow them the first one is read about 1:40:56 the salon the second one is introduce 1:40:58 yourself it's really easy just follow 1:41:00 them it it ends right now with um join 1:41:04 the water cooler which is just a 1:41:05 discussion so go there go there right 1:41:07 now go go go go go go go go 1:41:12 go why would you not want to be a part 1:41:16 of being educated about and enthusiastic 1:41:20 about and 1:41:24 supercharged by what AI makes possible 1:41:28 if it's coming 1:41:31 anyway and you're just sitting on the 1:41:33 sidelines like I'll wait I'll 1:41:36 wait with whatever your attitude is if 1:41:39 it's if it's fear if it's anger if it's 1:41:44 dismissiveness if you're on the 1:41:47 sidelines it's going to smack you upside 1:41:49 the [ __ ] 1:41:51 head and it's not going to be Pleasant 1:41:55 so this group why why I come here five 1:41:58 nights a 1:41:59 week is not to teach anything in 1:42:03 particular it's not for you to learn 1:42:05 anything in particular some nights I 1:42:08 teach better than a [ __ ] MIT 1:42:10 Professor some 1:42:13 nights I ramble incoherently for three 1:42:18 [Laughter] 1:42:21 hours I will leave it up to the regulars 1:42:24 to tell you where the average 1:42:27 is 1:42:30 um but what this is really about is all 1:42:33 of us myself included all of us being in 1:42:36 this conversation being active in the 1:42:38 conversation even if you don't 1:42:40 understand what I'm talking about even 1:42:41 if you don't know what these tools do if 1:42:44 you feel like I'm a [ __ ] loser I 1:42:45 don't know anything I'm so far behind 1:42:47 you're not behind if you're paying 1:42:50 attention to this stuff in any way if 1:42:52 you hung out here longer 1:42:54 than 38 seconds if you were like 1:42:56 scrolling and you like oh fat Alec 1:43:01 Baldwin it's I've been called that 1:43:03 before um and then you're like oh this 1:43:06 is kind of interesting if if you paused 1:43:08 for that long you're ahead of most 1:43:11 people on this planet right 1:43:13 now it's amazing like like this shit's 1:43:17 coming it's coming fast it's here 1:43:20 actually it's not coming it's here and 1:43:22 and most people don't know about it 1:43:26 most so get curious about it get 1:43:28 adventurous get playful get 1:43:32 Brave you know you know what takes 1:43:33 bravery going to a community full of 1:43:36 people that are AI enthusiasts 1:43:37 especially if you're not experienced 1:43:39 with it and introducing yourself step 1:43:42 two of the getting started in the AI 1:43:45 Salon is introduce yourself [ __ ] 1:43:47 terrifying but one of our values is 1:43:51 bravery you know want to know one of our 1:43:53 other values 1:43:56 generosity if you go here and you 1:43:58 generously introduce 1:44:02 yourself and you become a trusted member 1:44:04 of this community by participating and 1:44:06 hanging 1:44:13 out it will it there will be remarkable 1:44:17 opportunity they're really amazing 1:44:19 people in this group so anyway go do 1:44:21 that follow my channel 1:44:24 um keep showing up here night after 1:44:26 night I'm here 1:44:30 at it's an ASMR channel for for for a 1:44:34 cough 1:44:36 [Laughter] 1:44:42 syrup I'm I'm I'm here uh five nights a 1:44:46 week starting around 800 p.m. mountain 1:44:48 time I missed the announcement today can 1:44:50 anyone fill me in on the big news yeah 1:44:52 it was it was not it it is foundational 1:44:55 news not big 1:44:57 news one thing is is that chat GPT now 1:45:00 has a new model in it cam uh it looks 1:45:02 like it's the the the chat gp4 Omni 1:45:05 large model um oh thank you for the Lama 1:45:09 Ricky Tiki Fabby appreciate that very 1:45:11 much those gifts are are uh very 1:45:14 generous thank you 1:45:17 um so if you haven't played with chat 1:45:20 GPT recently go play with it uh it's 1:45:23 it's it it's gotten better it does long 1:45:26 complicated prompts really well now like 1:45:28 multi-step answers it just cranks 1:45:30 through them it's pretty amazing um I 1:45:33 haven't played with it much more than 1:45:34 that but that was confirmed that that 1:45:36 that update happened last week and and 1:45:39 open AI this week said have you noticed 1:45:41 it's gotten better hope you like it 1:45:44 which is sort of weird but 1:45:46 whatever um it was confirmed that Mr 1:45:49 strawberry is an 1:45:50 agent produced by a company called multi 1:45:53 on m u l t i o n multi 1:45:59 on um it is not connected with open AI 1:46:03 but it does seem like it might be 1:46:04 powered by some open AI technology so 1:46:06 that that might be why they have some 1:46:08 inside information and why Sam Altman 1:46:10 interacted with them it looks like 1:46:13 Thursday is going to be some sort of 1:46:16 model drop from open 1:46:19 AI um so they're going to release 1:46:21 something my 1:46:24 my instinct and what I'm putting 1:46:27 together is it it is 1:46:29 likely this project strawberry which is 1:46:31 a reasoning engine so that that could be 1:46:33 coming Thursday or it could not we 1:46:35 thought it was going to come today and 1:46:37 it 1:46:37 didn't um and I think that's it there 1:46:41 might be something else there but those 1:46:42 are the biggies I used chat GPT today as 1:46:45 a translator and it was Flawless oh 1:46:47 great yeah it's like it got it's gotten 1:46:49 some something has really shifted in in 1:46:51 the chat gpt's back end that that looks 1:46:54 like it got much much better and then if 1:46:56 they put strawberry the qar reasoning 1:47:00 engine on top of it it's probably going 1:47:03 to make it dramatically better and 1:47:06 that's the thing that this this Mr 1:47:09 strawberry autonomous agent has been 1:47:11 saying for weeks now that that you don't 1:47:13 know what's coming you don't know what's 1:47:15 here because so here's why the the 1:47:18 reasoning engine sitting on top of the 1:47:20 large language model is important 1:47:23 so you've got cat gp4 or gp4 the the 1:47:27 underlying 1:47:28 model um was way ahead of everyone else 1:47:31 now all these other models have caught 1:47:32 up to it 1:47:34 right it looks like whatever this 1:47:38 reasoning engine is has been made 1:47:41 available to perplexity it's been made 1:47:44 available to grock it's been made 1:47:46 available to this multi-on company I 1:47:49 think which means that it's not just 1:47:52 built into to the large language model 1:47:55 it means you can you can stack it on top 1:47:57 of the large language model so if you 1:47:59 have a large language model down here 1:48:00 you have a reasoning engine here that 1:48:02 makes this large language model better 1:48:05 all of the models from all of the 1:48:07 companies and all of the open source are 1:48:09 going to get dramatically 1:48:11 better so crazy right so anyway that's 1:48:15 as much as I 1:48:17 know all right I'm going to get out of 1:48:19 here I'm going to 1:48:21 go spin be 3 and house Joey in the house 1:48:25 thank you mods thank you are regulars 1:48:27 Emilio's wife thank you so much Bob H 1:48:29 good to see you 1:48:31 Tobias fantastic time to get out of the 1:48:33 hot tub wrinkly fingers Tam Z Tams find it a bit slow but it's good 1:49:36 okay good 1:49:37 awesome I can't believe someone in our 1:49:39 ranks has access to Strawberry it's very 1:49:41 weird that it's out that tells me 1:49:44 they're going to they're going to launch 1:49:46 It Wide they're not they're not going to 1:49:48 do what they're doing with voice um but 1:49:51 who [ __ ] knows 1:49:54 I thought they were going to launch 1:49:55 voice in two weeks and it's been four 1:49:57 months so um Tobias thanks Kyle this was 1:50:01 very informative thank you very much all 1:50:03 right good happy Tuesday everybody 1:50:06 tomorrow night's Wednesday same time 1:50:07 same place 1:50:09 um I don't think my hair can be any more 1:50:11 perfect than it is right now look at 1:50:13 those eyebrows you could you could ski 1:50:15 on those things all 1:50:21 right I don't know why I'm self-aware 1:50:23 about my hair but you know at least I 1:50:25 have some we could build it up a little 1:50:28 little just saying
