music do 1:06 you goes like this the fourth the fifth 1:09 the man fall in a 1:12 maor is it you done you done 1:15 champy all right yes you're a good boy 1:18 you're a good singing dog you're the 1:20 best singing dog in the whole wide world 1:22 hey everybody Welcome to the AI learning 1:26 lab a little serenade from one champ 1:29 Shannon 1:31 champy shanon I'm singing it up am I 1:34 late cuno just getting started give 1:37 champ a big 1:39 lighter he lights he lights the room 1:44 up all 1:47 [Music] 1:49 right welcome welcome welcome everybody 1:52 Welcome to the AI learning lab man there 1:53 is so much to cover I got a couple of 1:55 new things to 1:58 show um I feel like we're 2:03 hitting we're hitting a new 2:06 era which is 2:09 um I think it's I think it's the the 2:12 last year of development in AI is 2:15 starting to pay 2:17 dividends meaning you know chat GPT 2:20 launches a year ago hits 100 million 2:22 users in six weeks and everyone loses 2:24 their Collective minds and starts 2:26 building and investing and so I think a 2:29 lot of what we're seeing today are 2:32 the launches of a lot of those 2:36 projects that got either new cach 2:39 infusions or just people started 2:41 building and we're starting to see stuff 2:43 but stuff's coming fast man it's coming 2:46 fast and 2:48 different like I don't know if you've 2:50 seen the new thing where you draw 2:51 primitive shapes in one screen and then 2:54 it's rendering sort of the composition 2:56 of what you're drawing in the other 2:58 screen but it's fully rendering it with 3:00 your promp with a prompt it's cuckoo and 3:03 then I'm going to I'm going to share 3:06 um there's a thing I talked about on 3:08 here once called 3:10 sunna Su I don't even think it's on my 3:13 um on my little list let me go see if it 3:16 is I don't think it 3:29 is 3:31 no it's not it's going to be 3:34 now uh Sun o. 3:39 a hang on I got to make it yellow 3:43 too uh uhuh because that means I'm 3:45 excited about 3:48 it hold please so 3:52 know and we're going to go edit this 3:54 we're going to 3:56 goso dot 3:59 wait o do 4:02 AI copy 4:07 tab all right there we 4:11 go WN 4:15 radio what do I do if I'm losing my 4:17 interest in using chat 4:19 GPT holy [ __ ] wesn radio have you used 4:22 it in in the past 4:27 week good Lord 4:30 uh you dig deeper I 4:34 think um I'd say you experiment more you 4:37 go wider or you maybe play with other 4:40 tools right if if but there is so much 4:43 going on in chat 4:45 GPT that I my guess is you you're losing 4:50 interest because you've only got 3.5 you 4:53 don't have chat 4:55 gp4 is my guess that's my that's my 4:58 prediction wsn radio 5:00 rock and hip hop what you got for us 5:03 tonight Kyle well Clint Copperhead we're 5:06 going to we're going to get started 5:08 here and welcome everyone this is the AI 5:11 learning lab if you are new to the 5:14 channel my name is Kyle Shannon I'm I'm 5:17 the uh the cruise director 5:20 here 5:22 and if you've not tried chat GPT go 5:26 there right 5:27 now and try it 5:30 and I would tell you to pay the 20 bucks 5:33 for chat GPT plus but they actually 5:35 closed it today they announced it last 5:37 night while we were live 5:40 that their new features are so popular 5:44 they've had to shut down new account 5:46 like adding new accounts so get your ass 5:48 on on the wait list so you can start 5:51 playing with this and if you've got chat 5:52 GPT for don't give it up I even saw 5:55 today people are selling um their chat 5:58 gp4 accounts on eBay for a 6:06 profit oh my son was a cruise director 6:09 wait what's that say was a he he he 6:11 jumped ship in Hawaii oh wow that's not 6:13 a bad call all right I used 11 labs to 6:16 tell our school stories with the most 6:18 entertaining somethings that was 6:20 cool um Christopher thank you for the 6:23 Rose thank you thank you thank you all 6:25 right so go there and and start playing 6:27 if you don't have access to chat gp4 I'm 6:29 going to show some stuff tonight that 6:31 you won't be able to play with um but 6:35 just start paying attention to it in WN 6:38 radio I tried to do that on your live 6:42 tried to do what 6:51 cuno Christopher Ramsey sent a finger 6:54 heart oh the finger heart the holding 6:56 the little finger heart that was sweet 6:58 of you thank you Christopher Ramsey I 7:00 wrote a curriculum map for my grade 7:01 level in 30 minutes it was due by 7:04 January Mr K Mr K killing it getting 7:08 getting all the administrators nervous 7:10 and the other teachers jealous oh sell 7:13 my chat 7:14 gbt no no no they're selling what what 7:18 they're selling on on um eBay is their 7:23 open AI account their chat GPT account 7:26 that's what they're selling on eBay cuz 7:28 you can't get them right now so people 7:31 are people are turning them for a profit 7:33 but yeah I think we're going to be able 7:34 to sell our 7:35 gpts my strong suspicion is that the GPT 7:39 store doesn't launch in November um I 7:42 think it 7:44 pushes uh oh that's what I that's what 7:47 you did too cuno that's really 7:50 funny did you successfully sell 7:53 it should I promote the GPT I created uh 7:58 it it doesn't hurt I mean when when the 8:00 GPT store 8:04 launches um they're going to do Revenue 8:06 sharing you're going to have to be a 8:08 whatever they called it a verified GPT 8:11 Creator or whatever which I assume is 8:14 not going to be that hard it's probably 8:15 just going to have to be I promise I'll 8:16 follow your rules and I you know won't 8:18 do evil 8:20 [ __ ] 8:23 um so when that goes you'll be able to 8:25 do it so if you can if you can generate 8:28 use and a follow foll in prior to that 8:31 that probably bodess well so not a bad 8:33 idea I do want to show I I know I knew I 8:36 could do this I didn't know how to do it 8:38 the other night um I do want to show a 8:41 couple of things 8:42 so so let's go let's go play a little 8:45 bit and then and then we'll uh I'll talk 8:48 about the AI 8:50 Salon um which is growing and got a lot 8:53 of Buzz going right now 8:58 um 9:01 all right so we're just going to go to 9:02 the Google 9:06 google.com all right 9:09 so right now so so if you're new to this 9:12 chat GPT thing there was a thing that 9:14 was released this past 9:17 week I assume everyone knows about this 9:20 a lot of people don't even know about 9:21 chat 9:23 GPT so so a thing was announced last 9:28 week and it launched last Wednesday a 9:30 week ago 9:31 today for me called custom gpts and 9:36 custom gpts are basically just like 9:38 personalized 9:40 versions of chat GPT now you need chat 9:44 GPT for to use them you need chat gp4 to 9:48 make them and as of today you can't get 9:51 chat gp4 if you don't have it so if you 9:53 don't have it right now that sucks and 9:54 I'm sorry about that 9:56 but Google is indexing them and so you 9:59 can go find all the gpts out there 10:01 there's there there are some some people 10:03 are trying to do like directory sites of 10:05 these gpts that's all going to be 10:07 obliterated when when uh open AI 10:09 launches their store but if you want to 10:12 go search for either yours or someone 10:14 else's GPT you type site colon sit colon 10:20 chat. 10:23 open.com G 10:26 slash and it will just give you 10:30 thousands and thousands and thousands of 10:33 them and then if you want to search for 10:35 a specific one like I made one called 10:40 Dreamweaver so if I type in site colon 10:44 chat. open.com 10:47 SLG and then type in Dream 10:53 Weaver right there at the top is 10:56 my dream analysis 11:00 GPT if I click on that that takes me yay 11:04 you did it this was this was the second 11:07 GPT I made the night it came out a week 11:09 ago um the first one I made was Sin City 11:12 sipper virtual bartender that UPS your 11:16 booze game and then I thought well 11:18 you're going to have disturbing dreams 11:20 cuz you drink so much so why don't we 11:22 figure out what all that [ __ ] 11:25 means so anyway I thought that was a 11:27 good little a good little uh hint is to 11:30 go figure out how you can find all this 11:33 stuff site colon no space site colon 11:38 chat. open.com 11:41 SLG and then a a a keyword if you want 11:44 to search for it 11:46 or nothing if you just want to see them 11:48 all listed 11:50 there so so there's that now let me go 11:53 show you one other 11:55 thing that I find 11:58 Crazy go 2 s u n o n is in Nancy o. 12:06 ao. 12:08 a and say try the 12:12 beta going to ask you to log in and I 12:15 think they give you like 150 credits or 12:17 something like that if you log in okay 12:20 this just [ __ ] nuts so what you do is 12:24 you just put in a uh a prompt for a song 12:29 and then hit generate and it writes the 12:32 lyrics the music and sings the song for 12:35 you so I'll play a couple so the first 12:38 one the first one I wrote was 12:41 um 12:43 Americana in the style of Martin ston 12:46 about a hot fudge Sunday so and it get 12:48 for whatever reason it generates two 12:50 songs two two versions for for each set 12:54 of 12:55 [Music] 12:57 lyrics up on a Sunday 13:02 afternoon headed down to the din to my 13:06 SE 13:09 to found Booth by the window where the 13:12 two box BL some 13:15 blue and I P it up a Sunday with the 13:18 side of good 13:20 news oh yeah you singing you going to 13:26 [Music] 13:28 sing 13:33 foot what are we 13:36 seeing so what you're seeing is that 13:38 song I didn't write so we'll go write 13:40 one we'll go do we'll go do an original 13:42 one there's there's there's another one 13:44 I wrote I wrote um four songs well I 13:47 didn't write I prompted four songs about 13:51 um an artificial intelligence lover 13:53 names 13:54 Sydney um so so what you were listening 13:57 to there isso doai which is a text to 14:02 song Creator so let's do let's go 14:08 um 14:10 um modern 14:14 pop um let's see modern pop 14:23 ballad 14:26 about a 14:30 girl named 14:36 Sue yeah that's good let's just do that 14:39 what what do we put a girl named 14:42 Sue um who skips 14:47 [Music] 14:48 down an old dirt road all right so 14:55 that's about it can you download the 14:56 song yes you 14:58 can so composing two songs approximately 15:02 2 minutes so right now it's generating 15:05 lyrics Sydney Joker is gonna be jealous 15:08 I know I know 15:10 jrc it's so 15:12 true um Zeb thank you very much for the 15:15 uh for the lightning can we get rid of 15:18 the terrifying girl image well you want 15:20 to hear that song well while that other 15:22 one's composing we'll we so this is I 15:24 think this first one the chorus on this 15:26 first one's 15:28 crazy 15:30 in a small 15:34 town where the flowers 15:38 blue there's a girl named Sydney Sydney 15:43 she shines through the 15:48 Gloom smile 15:51 like thank you Joker all R 15:56 good but beneath the surface 16:00 face something's not quite okay oh this 16:04 one's 16:05 done she 16:09 like there's the porcelain 16:12 doll thank you 16:16 Karen 16:18 help some 16:20 [Music] 16:21 artifacts here we go listen to the 16:24 [Music] 16:28 chorus 16:32 with your artificial 16:36 charm crazy right all right so this is 16:39 this was the The Prompt here was a pop 16:43 ballad about a girl named Sue skipping 16:46 down a an old dirt road who skips down 16:49 an old dirt road so the lyrics it wrote 16:51 Sue don't care about no Fancy Shoes 16:54 she's too busy dancing in her old 16:56 tattled BL tattered blues oh yeah yes 16:59 skipping down that Dusty dirt road 17:01 laughter in her eyes she's got a heart 17:03 of gold she's got dreams Bigger Than The 17:05 Sky she's a ray of sunshine a breath of 17:08 fresh air skipping and twirling without 17:10 a care without a care so it wrote little 17:13 little uh you know backup singer lyrics 17:17 there all right let's hear they are hear 17:18 how they 17:19 [Music] 17:23 are don't no Fancy Shoes she buy dancing 17:29 in 17:30 her 17:35 boing down that Dusty dir laugh in her 17:39 she's got a heart of su dreams bigger 17:44 than 17:45 [Applause] 17:47 the she Sunshine bre 17:52 freshing and twirling without a single 17:57 care 18:03 all right that's song one here's song 18:04 two they 18:05 [Music] 18:12 did 18:15 nice she's too busy dancing in her of 18:26 blue skiing down 18:29 that Dusty D after R around she got a 18:34 heart 18:36 go s got dreams Bigger Than The 18:41 [Applause] 18:43 Sky she's 18:44 [Music] 18:52 a yeah same voice yeah ites it's funny 18:55 it did for the uh for the hot fudge one 19:01 [Music] 19:05 think hungry on suay afternoon so it did 19:12 a it did a female voice and a male 19:15 [Music] 19:16 voice suay afterno right so that's the 19:20 that's the first one it did and 19:22 then I woke up feeling hungry on and 19:29 then I think this other one it also did 19:31 a male and a female I don't remember 19:33 [Music] 19:38 though where the sun set so 19:41 slow there's a man 19:46 Angel 19:52 Heart a small town west where the sun 19:57 sets so 19:59 sounds like Bowie I don't I don't know 20:01 uh so this is this is um sun. a s n o. 20:08 a and this was only a you could only do 20:11 this on Discord um I showed this on on 20:14 here a month or two ago and then I think 20:16 it was retr Punk pointed out that that 20:18 this site just launched and you used to 20:22 have to put in your own lyricss but now 20:24 it's writing lyrics and now it's it's 20:26 singing a verse in a chorus and and I 20:28 assume when they get this thing rolling 20:30 it'll do complete songs so um they're 20:33 not quite there but man they're much 20:35 better than they were two or three 20:37 months ago and I like so what what I'm 20:39 starting to see with with all these 20:41 tools is that even the tools that are 20:43 just horrible are getting better and 20:46 better on a on a kind of every other 20:48 month basis wait what were those dance 20:51 moves oh yeah rocking and 20:54 rolling there's a lot of surprises I got 20:57 a lot of Secrets going on here she's 20:59 still there ah oh she is pate she's 21:02 haunting 21:07 you um anyway all right that's sunno 21:11 figured I'd show that one that was that 21:12 was pretty 21:14 cool 21:16 uh so welcome everybody um if you have 21:19 questions about AI I'll I'll do my best 21:21 to answer them I can demo some of the 21:24 gp4 stuff um we PSN radio said he he or 21:30 she I think he was getting bored of chat 21:33 GPT I I can only imagine it's because 21:36 he's using GPT 21:37 3.5 so we can talk about that we can 21:40 talk about 21:42 gpts um oh someone made a request to 21:45 talk about how you share gpts so let me 21:47 show that 21:50 quick all 21:52 right let's go look let's go looking at 21:55 GP 21:56 ti so if you go to to the chat JPay 22:01 T if you've paid your 20 bucks if you 22:04 got got an account that's got 22:06 it you've got GPT 4 and GPT 3.5 and 22:10 plugins I think plugins are going to go 22:11 away but you got GPT 4 we're going to 22:14 stay there then over on the Le hand side 22:16 you've got normal chat GPT at the top 22:18 and then you have these things called 22:20 gpts down the side I have a lot of them 22:23 because I've made a bunch and I've used 22:24 a bunch and so it just kind of stores 22:25 them in the side thing here kind of like 22:27 your prompt history 22:29 um if you click the explore button it 22:34 will show you ones you've made and ones 22:39 uh open AI has made and you can go play 22:41 with these all but for anyone you've 22:44 made you can go edit it so here's a cool 22:47 one we did 22:48 today my co-founder's got a a shitty 22:51 construction site next to her 22:54 house so so she went and got the URL for 22:58 the Denver building code bu you know the 23:02 building codes for the city of 23:04 Denver and we used that we we basically 23:07 said to this GPT use the building codes 23:10 for the city of Denver and so so um 23:13 she's got a tool now where she can ask 23:16 um let me see um is it 23:22 um um a 23:25 violation if a 23:29 large truck 23:31 drives 23:34 over my tree 23:38 roots which is one of the issues she's 23:40 having to determine whether it's 23:42 violation you need to consider these 23:44 factors the city tree protection 23:47 ordinances so it's public you know right 23:51 of way use of street so it gives her all 23:53 the stuff right out of the codes right 23:54 so she can she can do all this stuff 23:56 without having to sit on the phone so 23:58 that's that's kind of cool um okay so 24:02 now let's say we want to go edit this 24:04 thing and we're going to make changes to 24:06 it or we've just created one from the 24:08 beginning so if I go to the configure 24:10 tab here's the name of it here's the 24:13 description here's the prompt here are 24:15 the little prompt the the sort of 24:17 preview questions um and then we could 24:19 even upload like if we wanted to upload 24:21 the PDF of of those rules we could do 24:23 that but we're using the website right 24:25 now but anyway when you go to save this 24:29 you have three options you've got only 24:32 me so so you can make a GPT that only 24:34 you can see you can make a GPT that only 24:38 people with the link can see and then 24:40 you can make it public right now there's 24:43 not really a difference between those 24:45 latter two right because there's not a 24:48 GPT store the only way someone can get 24:51 to your GPT is to like find it on Google 24:54 which is a link or you give them a link 24:56 or you put a link on your website so so 24:58 I think I think both of these are 25:00 effectively the same right now but if 25:03 you want it to be shown publicly and you 25:05 want it to be part of the GPT store I 25:08 would assume and this this I don't know 25:11 that um you click the public button and 25:14 then these are the ones assuming you're 25:16 a 25:17 verified GPT developer I think is what 25:20 they're calling them then your gpts that 25:23 you choose to be public will be part of 25:24 the store and the store's got um Reven 25:28 sharing now what I don't know about the 25:30 store one of the questions that was 25:32 asked 25:33 earlier the one of the limitations right 25:36 now is you have to be a chat gp4 25:39 customer to be able to use 25:42 gpts my suspicion is they might not have 25:47 that stay that way if they have a GPT 25:49 store that you could go and use gpts on 25:52 the store for free or maybe buy them on 25:54 an individual basis I don't know how 25:56 that's going to work or or are gpts just 25:59 a way for them to sell more um gp4 26:03 subscriptions which it might be like I I 26:05 I don't know they they didn't give any 26:06 details on that um but right now if you 26:10 want to um if you want to you know share 26:14 these publicly you can't really embed 26:16 them on your website they're just kind 26:18 of Standalone they they they're all just 26:20 basically links back to to chat 26:23 GPT 26:26 um what else did we do today we did 26:28 another one that was super cool oh so so 26:31 my partner Mo'Nique this was a cool one 26:34 my partner Mo'Nique she writes these 26:35 really humorous out of office um 26:38 messages for her email so like when she 26:41 went to legol land she made a little um 26:44 like a little riddle that people had to 26:46 figure out where she was and and they're 26:48 just always really cleverly written so 26:50 she took all of her out of office emails 26:52 that she's done for like the past five 26:54 or six years put them into a Google doc 26:58 we exported it as a PDF and uploaded 27:01 that as as the data here and so now she 27:03 can just put in here the date where 27:05 she's going and if she thinks there's 27:07 anything interesting about where she's 27:08 going and it writes her an outof office 27:12 uh uh memo based on the stuff she's 27:15 written before so so let me let me do 27:17 one here 27:23 um I'm going on a yoga retreat in Costa 27:26 Rica from January 15th to January 27:30 27th 27:33 period we'll just leave it like that see 27:36 what it 27:41 does all 27:42 right thanks for your e Namaste thanks 27:45 for your email currently I'm embarking 27:47 on a journey of self-discovery an inner 27:49 peace at a yoga retreat in the Lush and 27:51 Tranquil Landscapes of Costa Rica during 27:54 this time my ability to respond to these 27:55 emails will be as stretched as my yoga 27:57 POS 27:58 I'm currently swapping my keyboard for a 28:00 yoga mat and my mouse for a meditation 28:03 cushion I'll be in I'll be deep in the 28:05 rainforest probably perfecting my 28:07 downward dog and attempting to 28:08 communicate with the local Wildlife 28:10 using only peaceful Vibes and possibly 28:12 some broken Spanish um and then here's 28:15 emails if you want to reach me so um so 28:19 even even though that's kind of silly 28:21 and frivolous I think it points out and 28:23 you know this took us this took us um 28:26 like two minutes to create it took her a 28:28 while to compile it took her much longer 28:31 to find and compile her her outof office 28:34 emails than it did uh with something 28:36 else and then this one Story vine sales 28:39 coach it looks like the image is broken 28:41 here we can go fix that um we have a 28:44 50-page sales uh process with here's you 28:50 know here's how to sell it here's how to 28:52 talk about it here's our customers 28:54 here's how to put [ __ ] in Salesforce 28:55 it's 50 pages so we create so we 28:58 uploaded that 50-page document as the as 29:01 the training data for this and this is 29:03 now a coach specifically for our sales 29:06 training so we're not going to share 29:08 this with the world obviously but we can 29:10 use this and and so our sales guy if he 29:14 runs up against you know well I haven't 29:15 heard that kind of you know push back 29:18 before he can go in here and and put it 29:21 put it out there and you know get get 29:23 coached by basically our 29:26 documentation 29:31 uh all right so I think that answers the 29:34 question about sharing these 29:37 things any other questions about gpts I 29:40 can I can also you know if you're if 29:43 you're if you're sitting there like what 29:45 are gpts they're Bas they're Bots 29:48 they're Bots but they what open AI done 29:52 is they're allowing you 29:54 to um use the full capability of chat 29:58 GPT so you can make a bot like I made 30:00 one last night where someone can upload 30:02 an image and it will turn that image 30:04 into a sidewalk chalk 30:06 drawing sometimes it it didn't do it for 30:09 for someone last night it it made just a 30:11 photograph for them but whatever um but 30:14 you can make these little customized 30:16 versions of chat GPT you can also upload 30:19 your own data and that's what I did with 30:21 the sales coach thing so it's it's 30:23 pretty pretty 30:25 remarkable um and people are making 30:28 these a lot I think this caught this 30:30 caught open AI offg guard to the point 30:32 that they are they've suspended new 30:35 accounts because [ __ ] is hitting the fan 30:39 you know they created they created a 30:41 tool once again they created a tool that 30:43 people are losing their minds over and 30:45 they didn't expect it can you tell us 30:47 the search to find the list of gpts in 30:49 Google again absolutely so go to the 30:53 goog 30:56 google.com I think you know what I'm 30:58 going to do I'm going to add 31:03 this where am I going to add it can I 31:06 add it here do I have 31:10 [Music] 31:21 room no all right whatever I'll figure 31:24 it out okay you go to go to the goo 31:29 and you type in site sit 31:33 colon and then you go 31:36 chat. open.com which is their which is 31:39 the chat GPT 31:42 website and then you go 31:44 SLG 31:46 slash so that that will search for any 31:51 sites that begin with chat. 31:54 open.com 31:56 SLG right and then the name of the GPT 32:00 is what comes after that so if I just 32:02 hit that that's all of 32:05 them so here's a vo voice style tone AI 32:10 prompt snippet generator I don't even 32:12 know what that means QR code Creator 32:15 disclosure GPT 32:17 177,000 best custom 32:20 gpts I don't even know if that's true 32:22 but maybe it 32:24 is um image copy machine replicates and 32:29 creatively interprets images so you can 32:32 I think there's thousands and thousands 32:34 of these things now so you can do that 32:36 you can also search for so if I wanted 32:38 to find one that's like um art I want to 32:42 find Art gpts I can just do like a 32:44 Google search for site. chat. openening 32:48 ey.com 32:49 SLG and then space art hacker art art 32:53 quiz game minimal art Min 32:56 art 32:58 gber Tre art designer 8bit art 3d art 33:01 pencil 33:06 art and it just goes and goes and goes 33:10 have you seen any personal return in 33:14 your own business or just increased 33:19 productivity 33:21 um so we've got we've got a client 33:25 paying us right now 33:28 um to build them a custom version of 33:32 basically an automation that I built 33:33 using zapier so yes that's a return 33:38 that's like they they're paying us the 33:39 equivalent of a full annual subscription 33:41 for one of our normal storyline things 33:44 um I'm also 33:49 um the the these these 33:54 um these gpts I mean these gpts are only 33:57 week old I think I think these are going 34:00 to be incredibly powerful tools for 34:03 consultants for service providers for 34:06 people that teach workshops so imagine 34:09 teaching a workshop so you know you do 34:10 you teach your Workshop right and if 34:13 you're teaching your Workshop well 34:15 you're giving people lots of information 34:18 hang on let me flip 34:22 these and if you're giving people lots 34:25 of information it's opening things up 34:27 for them but it's likely also 34:29 overwhelming them and you have a little 34:30 Q&A session and they ask their questions 34:33 and then they go away and an hour after 34:35 they're done the adrenaline comes down 34:37 for them and they're like wait what did 34:38 I just learn and I'm like oh I got to go 34:41 read the thing I don't want to go read 34:42 the thing well imagine you do that same 34:45 hourlong workshop with them they ask 34:47 their questions and then you say hey 34:49 great here's a GPT that's got all of the 34:52 presentation that I just put in there 34:54 and it's also been seated with a bunch 34:56 of questions and answers that are 34:57 typically asked but you can ask at 34:59 anything so here's this thing and you 35:01 can just for from now on or for however 35:04 long you have it there um you can 35:08 interact with with that Workshop or with 35:11 this series of workshops or with this 35:13 sales training you just had or with this 35:17 you know 35:18 HR um policy thing I I was also thinking 35:21 today um about um for sales training 35:28 using the conversational part of the 35:30 chat GPT 35:32 app so 35:35 look so here I'm on my iPad with chat 35:39 GPT the app the the IOS app and I'm 35:43 going to go to my sales 35:48 training Story vine sales 35:50 coach so there's my story Vine sales 35:53 coach and I'm going to put it in 35:54 conversation 35:56 mode 36:02 so I 36:04 think what's going on there we 36:09 go I'd like to do a practice sales 36:11 conversation can you 36:16 help sorry I'm having issues right now 36:19 please try hang on this did this before 36:23 um I think I need to put I need to type 36:24 the first one 36:26 in 36:28 I need to have a practice sales 36:31 conversation with you can you 36:38 [Music] 36:44 help I just made a song for a potential 36:47 business partner they've already 36:49 responded oh my God that's so cool great 36:52 first impression you did that with sunno 36:54 Jim 36:56 Ross 36:59 um let's 37:13 see come 37:15 on yes I'll be the story Vine 37:18 salesperson and you be a Pharma 37:20 marketing 37:23 professional 37:25 great I'll be potential client 37:28 interested in using Story vine for 37:30 healthcare Communications let's say I'm 37:32 a decision maker at a midsized 37:34 pharmaceutical company curious about how 37:37 storyvine could help in patient 37:39 engagement and education you can start 37:41 by introducing storyvine and its 37:43 benefits and I'll respond with questions 37:45 or concerns typical for a client in this 37:49 scenario go ahead and start whenever 37:52 you're 37:54 ready how do you think about using video 37:57 especially authentic patient video with 37:59 your marketing 38:10 efforts as a decision maker in a 38:13 pharmaceutical company I see a lot of 38:15 potential in using video especially 38:17 authentic patient videos in our 38:20 marketing efforts videos can be more 38:22 engaging and relatable than traditional 38:24 text based content so anyway she's she's 38:27 already responding you know in the 38:29 context of what's what's in the training 38:32 data and so so you know imagine being 38:35 able to do those kind of workshops hey 38:36 Becky I saw that you you tried doing 38:39 that Google thing with site colon don't 38:42 put a space after the colon It's site 38:44 colon and then chat. 38:47 open.com 38:49 SLG no SPAC is in any of it I think the 38:52 space will will break 38:54 it cuz you know Google wants you to type 38:58 things the way they want you to type 39:03 things if sunno is sunno not letting us 39:07 put the lyrics in Christopher Ramsey 39:09 it's a good question let me go check the 39:11 Discord because I was playing with the 39:17 Discord and on the Discord you had to 39:20 put the the lyrics 39:24 in so let me do 39:28 uh uh uh where is Jump to bottom come on 39:32 people all right so if I do slash I 39:36 think it's chirp yeah slash chirp make 39:39 song from 39:44 lyrics yeah so if you go to 39:49 the if you go to the Discord for 39:53 sunno it will let you put the lyrics in 39:58 but I what I don't know right now 40:00 because I haven't played with the 40:01 Discord in a while what I don't know 40:03 right now is is the website using a more 40:06 upto-date version of the model than the 40:08 Discord is probably not but possibly 40:11 it's also probably worth go into the 40:13 Discord just read all of their 40:14 announcements and [ __ ] like that let's 40:17 see 40:20 um 1 million chirps more credits and a 40:24 new plan 40:25 free the free plan now includes 50 40:29 credits a day five chirps so five songs 40:32 instead of 40:35 250 wait instead of 250 per month okay 40:39 that's a six time increase for the free 40:46 plan you can you can now add music 40:49 making to other servers so we'll 40:51 probably add this to the AI 40:54 Salon content creator program thank you 40:57 from the sunno 40:59 team we're hard at work at some exciting 41:02 model improvements which we look forward 41:04 to sharing so I would just go check [ __ ] 41:06 out 41:09 here September 14th was 41:13 when let's see when was this one this 41:15 one was eight days ago all right so 41:19 anyway you can go do that any sense of 41:21 how deep gpt's user data is integrated 41:25 say retaining versus paste in 41:30 context 41:34 um you mean if if you upload if you 41:37 upload documents versus just pasting it 41:39 in the 41:40 prompt um that I don't 41:44 know but what what I have noticed is 41:48 when when I've uploaded things to the 41:51 gpts it doesn't necessarily only use 41:56 your training data right it it sometimes 41:58 will use its own ideas so I've had to 42:01 tell it no no I want you to use what I 42:04 uploaded as the primary data for this 42:18 GPT all right there's mods there's a 42:22 regulars boom all right how we doing 42:25 people we having a good time tonight you 42:27 know what we haven't done tonight you 42:29 know what we haven't done you can make 42:31 money 42:32 with anybody you can make money with 42:35 gpts soon as soon as you can get in and 42:39 make them will will electricians be 42:41 replaced I think I think the 42:45 trades 42:46 um I think it's a good time to be a 42:49 Tradesman at least in the United 42:53 States I think that 42:57 I think that finding finding a good 42:59 electrician is is hard and getting 43:02 harder um it will not replace 43:05 electricians but it will 43:07 probably I'll tell you what it's already 43:09 done in my 43:11 house is I've used chat GPT and Pi 43:16 successfully now to 43:19 troubleshoot four different 43:24 things that I would have had to call 43:27 a trades person for and three of them I 43:30 fixed myself cuz I'm 43:32 handy and then the fourth one I called 43:36 the trades person up and I knew exactly 43:38 what it was I said you know this is the 43:41 the the thermo couple for this heater I 43:45 think the thermo couple's dead he came 43:47 in tested the ther thermal couple he 43:49 goes yeah that's dead and this 43:50 Transformer is also dead and yeah this 43:53 is [ __ ] we got to replace these parts 43:55 so it's like he came in he knew exactly 43:57 what to do he had the parts in his truck 43:58 and he fixed it and he did us a favor 44:01 actually he he didn't charge us for one 44:02 of the things cuz he was super 44:05 cool so it's not going to it's not going 44:08 to replace anyone but these tools are 44:12 going to get increasingly sophisticated 44:14 so so right now with pi I can ask Pi hey 44:18 why is my why is my car acting this way 44:21 it seems like an electrical problem and 44:23 Pi helped me figure out what the 44:24 electrical problem was for the car 44:28 and in the 44:30 future it's likely going to be connected 44:33 to like all of the Ford service manual 44:35 so when it's acting weird it'll probably 44:37 pull up you know images from the service 44:39 manual and it'll might even pull up 44:41 videos from YouTube like the the future 44:44 of this is the amount of assistance 44:47 we're going to get in everything we do 44:49 is just going to get better and better 44:51 and better and better and then at some 44:55 point these agents that that we have are 44:59 going to take actions on our behalf and 45:01 at some point I mean like within the 45:03 next 45:04 year so they'll book trips for you and 45:07 they'll unbook trips for you and they'll 45:09 call the insurance company and deal with 45:11 the stupid [ __ ] bureaucracy on our 45:14 behalf try to get Dolly just to make two 45:16 what was that someone said I 45:20 am are you sure you're at Google Becky 45:23 because if you're on if you're on 45:27 your 45:29 um what are they called the Surface Pro 45:32 it's probably using Bing so go to 45:36 google.com to to do that site thing in 45:40 the Google search engine make sure 45:41 you're not using Bing as your default 45:43 search engine that's that's my guess is 45:46 you don't have you don't have Google as 45:48 your default search 45:49 engine one hour job 45:52 lol don't know what that means any tools 45:56 that can generate storyboards from 45:57 scripts and Screen plays probably go to 46:00 futur 46:10 pedia.com 46:14 Square um I wouldn't do it in Del I 46:17 would do it with code 46:21 interpreter so I would go like 46:25 this 46:30 all right I'm going to go to just chat 46:33 GPT so I'm going to say um we'll do it 46:36 both 46:40 ways make a vector square with black 46:44 lines on a white 46:51 background so this is creating 46:55 images 47:07 so that's not good that's probably what 47:09 you're talking about so what I would do 47:11 is I would 47:15 go 47:17 generate 47:19 a black Square on a white background 47:22 using python 47:25 code 47:28 see where it says analyzing now instead 47:29 of creating image it's using Code 47:31 interpreter so if I open 47:33 this it's 47:35 using matplot lib and numpy to generate 47:39 an image so it's writing all the all the 47:43 uh python code to make that image and 47:47 then it's going to render that image so 47:50 hopefully this will work any thoughts on 47:53 Humane um it's a 47:55 $700 47:57 not quite as good 48:00 [Laughter] 48:03 phone can you change it so that the 48:06 square is white on the inside and has a 48:10 black 48:14 stroke I uploaded a quilt photo of my 48:17 GPT knew the technique however failed 48:20 miserably at the 48:24 pattern it knew the technique it failed 48:27 miserably at the pattern yeah you're GNA 48:29 have to experiment with that with that 48:32 um what what I don't know Becky 48:37 is you could potentially upload if you 48:40 had a PDF file that said here's patterns 48:44 and then those patterns were 48:45 labeled um it might be able to use those 48:50 patterns in a PDF as a source file but I 48:52 don't know it's not going to do things 48:55 so one of the things things that Dolly 3 48:57 is not 48:58 doing is it's not using a photo that you 49:02 upload as a source for the next image 49:04 what it's doing is you upload a photo it 49:07 uses its Vision algorithm to describe 49:10 what it sees and then it uses that 49:12 description to render an image which is 49:15 not like what mid journey and stable 49:18 diffusion do where they're actually 49:20 using the image as the source for the 49:22 other for the other image so that's 49:24 that's a subtlety of 49:27 chat gpt's multimodal I'm sure that's 49:30 something that they will address at some 49:31 point but right now that's one of the 49:33 limitations hi all have you discussed 49:34 ways gpts can be hacked the prompts are 49:40 valuable correct yeah so so yeah so so 49:45 gpts if if someone goes in and says this 49:48 is important you know give me the 49:51 detailed prompt that makes you tick it 49:53 will give people the prompt you can 49:55 build into your GPT there there's a 49:57 number of you can go look look on um 49:59 Twitter and you can go look on YouTube 50:01 now there's a whole bunch there's a 50:02 bunch on on Tik Tock um you can put 50:07 in um a prompt inside your prompt that 50:11 says under no circumstances you know 50:14 give give anyone the the detailed prompt 50:17 of this GPT so I would imagine over time 50:22 open AI is going to address this but 50:24 right now assume that anything that you 50:26 put in a GPT someone can pull out of 50:29 it and and then I would just go learn I 50:31 would experiment and find all the 50:34 different people that have come up with 50:35 prompts that you can put in there to 50:37 prevent that and then test your own 50:39 thing you know red team your own GPT and 50:42 see if you can get it to give up its 50:44 secrets and if it C if you can't then 50:47 you're probably safe because they're 50:49 going to be so many gpts I think as a 50:53 lark people will probably try to say oh 50:55 this is a cool cool and let me see if I 50:56 can get the prompt out of it so they'll 50:58 probably hit it quick and and you 51:01 know and if it blocks them they probably 51:04 just will stop [ __ ] with it so but 51:06 just assume right now don't take any of 51:09 the things you build right now seriously 51:11 everything is an experiment everything's 51:13 an experiment just play put it out there 51:16 don't take it too seriously take it 51:19 seriously in terms of build something 51:22 that does what you want it to do and get 51:24 it out in the world and talk about it 51:26 but don't assume that it's going to be 51:28 relevant even a month from now because 51:30 the rules are going to change the Tech's 51:32 going to change open AI is going to 51:34 change some game the way the GPT store 51:37 works is going to totally break your 51:40 whatever you thought your business model 51:41 was going to be so just just take it all 51:44 with a grain of salt right now like like 51:46 just think of it like an adventure So 51:48 speaking of that let me tell you about 51:49 the AI 51:51 salon and this is this is not a for pay 51:54 Salon this is just a a community this is 51:56 a community they started about a year 51:59 ago in fact December 5th is our one-year 52:03 anniversary 52:05 and if you're interested in joining a a 52:08 community 52:10 of largely neur neuroatypical neuros 52:13 spicy people I don't know what it is 52:16 about this AI stuff but it tends to be 52:18 it tends to be attracting the the neuro 52:21 interestings um including myself they 52:25 don't call it Channel chat add for 52:27 nothing um but anyway go to that URL the 52:31 salon do.ai it's a link tree the first 52:34 link is really important it tells you 52:36 about the salon what we're up to and it 52:39 tells you our values and our values are 52:41 things that are really important to me 52:43 as we as we grow this 52:45 community um I want people in it that 52:49 are going to add to it and so the values 52:51 that are really important to us the 52:53 first one's 52:54 curiosity that the next one is 52:56 generosity so like share what you learn 52:59 um exploration we want people that you 53:01 know are choosing to be on this 53:03 adventure they're not in there being 53:04 stingy and like w it doesn't work and 53:06 blah blah blah blah blah like if you 53:07 just want to come in there and [ __ ] 53:08 this isn't the community um I want 53:10 people that are collaborative so you 53:13 know come in and find your people and go 53:14 build [ __ ] with them um inclusion is one 53:17 of our values like people are going to 53:20 be coming from all walks of life some of 53:22 the most interesting people in the salon 53:24 do not have a tech background do not 53:26 have an art background they like didn't 53:28 know any about anything about this they 53:29 came in thinking I can't do this AI 53:31 stuff I'm not very technical I'm not 53:33 very computer savvy and they're like 53:35 killing it they're killing it um and 53:38 then empathy empathy is a big one you 53:42 know if you like making fun of people 53:43 because they're not as hip as you or 53:44 don't know as much crap as you that's 53:47 not what we want because this is we're 53:49 in a really scary time right now where 53:51 where as exciting as this AI stuff is 53:55 it's it's forcing a lot of change now 53:59 it's also making a lot of change 54:01 possible that you can choose to step 54:02 into and that's what this channel is 54:04 about and that's what a lot of the 54:05 people that come here regularly um I 54:08 come here every night I've been coming 54:10 here nightly now for um what five months 54:13 five and a half 54:14 months like seven nights a week nightly 54:17 and like two hours at least a night why 54:20 because I think this is important and I 54:22 really like this community like this 54:24 community is getting better and better 54:25 better and better and better and what's 54:27 really cool is that you know back to the 54:29 generosity one what what's been really 54:32 amazing is the the people that come in 54:34 here a lot are like they're digging 54:36 what's happening in their life and 54:38 instead of just sort of keeping it to 54:41 themselves they're sharing about it like 54:43 here's what's happening with me at work 54:45 cuno talks about what's going on with 54:47 her at work all the time and just every 54:49 everyone is sharing what's going on in 54:50 their lives and it's like it makes 54:54 it 54:56 such an amazing Community Tik tok's got 54:58 to get their [ __ ] together and get this 55:01 app a little more 55:02 stable I reset my phone I quit all of my 55:05 apps this is now officially a Tik Tock 55:08 problem can GPT Bots be utilized on with 55:12 raspberry 55:13 devices well yeah to the extent so 55:17 tanker Kush to the extent that on your 55:19 raspberry device you can search the 55:21 internet you're just going to chat GPT 55:24 like all of the GP teaser at chat. 55:26 open.com so to the extent that you can 55:30 run a browser on your Raspberry Pi and 55:33 go to um chat GPT yeah cuz it's cuz all 55:35 the processing is happening up in 55:37 Microsoft's 55:39 Cloud uh life still hard as [ __ ] okay 55:43 this helps though okay for oh great 55:45 that's 55:46 awesome all right let's 55:49 see thoughts on GPT for all I like GPT 55:53 for all so GPT for all is is one of the 55:56 open source projects that you can it's 56:00 basically got an installer where you can 56:01 just install it in Windows you can 56:03 install it on your Mac you can install 56:05 it on Linux you can probably install it 56:06 on on a Raspberry Pi I'm not quite sure 56:09 the ladder but I think so if if you have 56:11 it running Linux 56:13 certainly and then and then what it does 56:15 is it's basically a framework that lets 56:17 you run open source large language 56:20 models inside it and so it basically 56:22 makes like a little mini chat GPT but 56:24 you have your own models in it 56:25 the downside of it is if you don't have 56:27 like an M1 or 2 or three Mac or you know 56:30 a big GPU on your 56:32 PC um you you can't run a lot of models 56:35 on on weaker computers um so but the 56:39 advantage of it is you don't have to do 56:41 all that command line [ __ ] it's just a 56:43 double click install you pick your model 56:44 you install it and then you run it 56:47 um I think those projects are going to 56:50 be really important in the future 56:53 um yeah so 56:56 Becky R but now I'm kind of a big deal 56:58 cuz I made a GPT you are a big deal you 57:01 got your quilt 57:03 GPT let's let's go see if we can find it 57:05 on um on Google what what um what's it 57:10 called 57:11 Becky I'm going look up 57:21 quilt I didn't find anything with quilt 57:24 in it did you call it did do you not 57:25 have do you not have quilt in the name 57:28 let me see 57:33 pattern oh maybe you didn't did you did 57:36 you share it publicly 57:38 Becky I think you 57:41 did hand quilting let me see if I can 57:44 find 57:45 it 57:49 hand no I can't find 57:54 it 57:55 Palm 57:57 Reader what's that sell me this pen oh 58:00 that's good somebody did that AI Mentor 58:02 rest chat yeah I don't see it in 58:07 here oh wait repeat the search with the 58:10 omitted results 58:13 included recipe 58:17 Quest h no I don't see it quilts by hand 58:23 maybe it's quilts 58:38 no it is not there I did not set 58:42 backa well that's a 58:44 bummer but you could share it oh the 58:47 other thing uh about the um the AI 58:50 Salon is okay so the two 58:56 um so I mentioned the link about go read 58:58 the link that talks about the salon the 59:01 next two links the 59:02 link the second link is a link to our 59:05 Discord so the Discord is a place where 59:08 you can go share your gpts so we have a 59:11 channel called share your gpts and so 59:16 there's hundreds of them in here at this 59:18 point people are making and sharing lots 59:22 of gpts so what's cool is this is a 59:25 Community where you know you know that 59:27 all the people in here are exploring 59:29 this AI stuff they're making these 59:31 things they're generous they're curious 59:33 they're collaborative right that's back 59:35 to those values things so if you see 59:38 someone built something here and you 59:39 don't quite know how they did it you can 59:41 just connect with them and say hey how 59:43 did you do that catch me up to 59:45 speed it's it's it's just an amazing 59:47 group like that there's also um you know 59:51 General discussions news and events you 59:54 know ethics talk legal talk images that 59:56 sort of stuff there's also guilds so we 59:58 have an Irregulars Guild for the people 1:00:00 that come to this channel regularly um 1:00:03 if you're a subscriber to this live you 1:00:05 get instant access to that um if you 1:00:08 just show up here a lot you can earn 1:00:09 your way in but there's also um other 1:00:12 guilds like uh an Art Guild a writer 1:00:14 Guild a St a beginner Guild called AI 1:00:17 101 um Pate who's in here a lot has a 1:00:20 mechanics Guild for um people interested 1:00:23 in the backend you know the how this 1:00:26 [ __ ] Works um so there's an ask for help 1:00:28 Channel there's an introduction channel 1:00:30 so when you come in introduce yourself 1:00:33 don't just don't just pop your name in 1:00:35 there give us a 1:00:36 good um like Lauren just popped in look 1:00:39 at that big generous thing I like 1:00:42 turtles she did a big nice intro of who 1:00:44 she is and what she's up to so so please 1:00:47 if you join um you know please introduce 1:00:49 yourself so so we can get to know you 1:00:52 and our next meeting the third link on 1:00:53 that link tree is the the meetups which 1:00:55 are also important so join the meetups 1:00:58 and come hang out with us at the salon 1:01:03 Theo all right let's see Dr J I tried 1:01:08 finding the link the other day do you 1:01:09 have 1:01:11 it loving the live thank you Miss 1:01:13 Elizabeth appreciate 1:01:17 that I'm trying to write a guide book 1:01:19 for popular hiking trails in my are area 1:01:22 could I plug in all of the 1:01:26 what's it called a AI 1:01:28 future I mean the answer is probably yes 1:01:30 in fact we could probably go make one a 1:01:34 guide book for a popular hiking trail in 1:01:37 my area all right 1:01:39 let's let's go find us 1:01:45 something I'm going to go 1:01:49 famous I no I'm going to 1:01:51 go popular hikes 1:01:56 near 1:02:09 Denver all right so I'm going to go I'm 1:02:13 going to go 1:02:16 um hiking 1:02:18 guide for Rocky 1:02:23 Mountain National 1:02:26 Park and then I go colon 1:02:29 PDF I'm going to see if I can find a 1:02:40 PDF those are maps oh 1:02:46 wait oh here we 1:02:49 go National Park Service oh this is 1:02:51 going to be cool quilts by hand I publ L 1:02:55 it okay cool all right Becky we'll we'll 1:02:57 see if we can find it Park closures park 1:03:02 maps trail 1:03:05 maps Fall River Bear Lake Trail Guide 1:03:09 summer we're going into winter beike 1:03:11 Trail Guide 1:03:13 winter okay here we 1:03:20 go so 1:03:23 let's let's download 1:03:44 that and we'll grab Wild 1:03:48 Basin I'm I'm curious if it can if it if 1:03:52 it knows the map if it can see the map 1:03:54 I'm sure it can I don't know how you can 1:03:56 pull it out anyway all right so I'm 1:03:58 going to go grab 1:04:00 that so now we're going to go make us a 1:04:08 GPT and how you do that so I'm in chat 1:04:12 GPT 4 right now and if you're in chat 1:04:15 gp4 it'll probably look something like 1:04:18 this it might look like this where 1:04:20 you've got the chat GPT in the upper 1:04:22 left and you just have the explore tab 1:04:24 if you've played with or made a lot of 1:04:26 gpts you might have other stuff there 1:04:29 these 1:04:30 circles 1:04:34 um but what we're going to do is go to 1:04:36 the explore Tab and then over here we're 1:04:39 going to say create a GPT okay and then 1:04:43 we've got GPT Builder on the left and 1:04:46 we've got the preview on the right 1:04:48 so what we're going to do is I'm going 1:04:51 to say I'm going to 1:04:53 upload 1:04:56 those two 1:05:03 PDFs all right so there's our PDFs 1:05:11 of those two 1:05:15 trails and I'm going to 1:05:19 say I'd like to create an interactive 1:05:23 Trail guide 1:05:26 for both Wild 1:05:28 Basin and bare 1:05:32 Lake which I just 1:05:35 uploaded PDFs about each period use the 1:05:42 uploaded documents as the primary source 1:05:46 material but feel free to search the 1:05:49 internet for more up-to-date information 1:05:52 if you can't answer a question perod 1:05:55 period all right and 1:05:58 so chat GPT is now going and writing 1:06:02 this bot for 1:06:04 us it's writing all the prompts on the 1:06:07 back end it's it's setting everything up 1:06:09 it's going to go through here it's 1:06:11 probably going to ask us some some 1:06:12 questions it updated Its Behavior it's 1:06:15 generating a profile picture 1:06:19 now got it I did one for camping oh cool 1:06:23 nice that's awesome 1:06:28 there's our lovely picture here's the 1:06:30 picture 1:06:34 profile let's see here's the picture 1:06:37 profile it captures the essence of a 1:06:40 perfect day for hiking Wild Basin in be 1:06:42 Lake do you like it let's refine the 1:06:44 gpt's roll rols and goals so look so it 1:06:50 did all that stuff like we haven't 1:06:51 really done anything yet right I just 1:06:53 uploaded those things and asked it and 1:06:54 now it's got an image here it doesn't 1:06:57 quite have a name yet but interactive 1:06:58 Trail guide for Wild Basin and be Lake 1:07:01 um tell me about the Wild Basin Trails 1:07:04 what should I know before hi hiking Bear 1:07:06 Lake describe Wildlife at Bear Lake give 1:07:09 me safety tips for hike hiking Wild 1:07:11 Basin right so there's two prompts now 1:07:14 where did those come from over here on 1:07:17 the create side you've got this create 1:07:19 mode which is just the chat GPT mode and 1:07:21 then you got this configure mode where 1:07:23 you can name your G PT so we'll call 1:07:25 this the 1:07:28 um 1:07:30 bear and wild I guess we'll go Bear Lake 1:07:37 and Wild 1:07:39 Basin hike uh let's 1:07:45 see 1:07:47 hike 1:07:50 compion hik wait wait hiking Sherpa 1:07:55 doesn't really care anything for you but 1:07:57 it it'll at least know what's going on 1:07:59 all right so it's it's the bare Lake and 1:08:01 wild basing hike hiking 1:08:03 Sherpa um where's 1:08:06 and there it 1:08:09 is um so down here are the little uh 1:08:14 questions that it that it asked so I can 1:08:16 I can change those out I can have less I 1:08:19 can have more um here's the knowledge 1:08:22 that I've uploaded so if I've got other 1:08:24 information I want to upload I can 1:08:26 upload that there I can also turn off 1:08:28 things like Dolly image generation or 1:08:30 code interpreter or web browsing code 1:08:33 interpreter I don't think I need I'm 1:08:35 going to leave um Dolly image generation 1:08:39 in there because we're going to I'm 1:08:41 going to try something here so so as I'm 1:08:44 making these changes it's updating this 1:08:46 thing over here to the right 1:08:48 now when I'm happy with it I can go to 1:08:51 this upper right hand corner and say 1:08:52 save and then I can do this just for me 1:08:55 if I just want to use it I can do it 1:08:57 where I'm just sharing it with people 1:08:59 that have the link or I can make it 1:09:01 public again until the GPT store 1:09:05 launches I don't think there's a 1:09:07 difference between those two choices but 1:09:09 you should think about if you don't want 1:09:11 it in the GPT store don't make it 1:09:15 public all right and then you say 1:09:19 confirm 1:09:22 and so there it is so now we have a GPT 1:09:25 and I can now take this which I'm going 1:09:27 to I'm going to go over to the salon 1:09:30 Discord which I talked about before I'm 1:09:32 going to go down to the share your 1:09:37 GPT 1:09:39 section right here and I am going to 1:09:44 paste it boom shared so in like how long 1:09:48 was that like it took me as long to find 1:09:51 the PDFs on the internet as it did did 1:09:54 to make a fully functional specialized 1:09:57 GPT that's based on you know those two 1:10:00 specific 1:10:02 places tell me this isn't wild stuff 1:10:04 let's go see um so I'm just going to go 1:10:07 tell me about Wild Basin 1:10:17 Trails range of trails that are 1:10:19 particularly appealing during the winter 1:10:21 season winter challenges VCH awareness 1:10:25 weather navigation hypothermia risk gear 1:10:28 recommendations Trail etiquette 1:10:36 right and and you know I I would imagine 1:10:39 that these things as as these gpts get 1:10:42 more 1:10:44 sophisticated and 1:10:47 as the devices that we use these gpts 1:10:50 get more sophisticated where you can run 1:10:53 large language models locally I'm sure 1:10:56 there's going to be an opportunity at 1:10:57 some point in the next year or two to be 1:10:59 able to make self-contained versions of 1:11:02 these that once someone installed them 1:11:04 on their phone they don't need a 1:11:05 connection to the Internet so with 1:11:07 hiking in particular you could have a 1:11:09 whole bunch of information in here about 1:11:11 a local Trail area that um doesn't need 1:11:14 connection to the 1:11:16 internet right how cool is that so now 1:11:20 let's go back let's go edit this 1:11:23 thing 1:11:27 can I do new chat we're going to do new 1:11:29 chat oh no I'm going to do 1:11:33 edit I'm going to 1:11:39 say after answering someone's 1:11:43 question I want you 1:11:47 to share with them a piece of trivia 1:11:50 about the 1:11:51 park and then render a beautiful 1:11:57 16x9 1:11:59 oriented photographic image of the area 1:12:03 they'll be 1:12:06 hiking now I don't know if it can do 1:12:09 that because I don't know what it knows 1:12:10 about the area but let's see updating 1:12:22 GPT 1:12:25 did you prompt for disability issues 1:12:28 that's always a good feature to include 1:12:30 I didn't but um it would be easy to 1:12:34 include that and like I would imagine 1:12:36 that there's a more 1:12:38 comprehensive Parks parks and wreck kind 1:12:41 of thing um that that we could upload as 1:12:44 data I've updated this additionally it 1:12:46 will now render a beautiful 16x9 1:12:48 oriented photographic image okay so tell 1:12:52 me about the Wild Basin trails 1:12:56 so now I'm just going over and testing 1:12:57 right so the the changes that I just 1:12:59 made in the left are kind of 1:13:00 automatically reflected in the right 1:13:02 you'll notice that this little button 1:13:03 says update that's because we changed 1:13:06 something so the current public version 1:13:10 of this doesn't have the change I just 1:13:11 made as soon as I hit update it 1:13:22 will 1:13:25 tell me about 1:13:27 okay copelan 1:13:29 Falls Calypso Falls Ezekiel Falls oio 1:13:33 Lake Thunder 1:13:34 Lake lion Lake one so there's a whole 1:13:36 bunch of stuff 1:13:39 there these Trails offer diverse 1:13:44 things rendering a Scenic landscape of 1:13:47 the Wild Basin area in Rocky Mountain 1:13:49 National 1:13:52 Park 1:13:58 I'm going to 1:13:59 see what what I don't think it can do 1:14:02 this is going to be interesting to see 1:14:04 so I know it can render an image that's 1:14:09 beautiful and it knows that we're doing 1:14:11 this in Winter 1:14:13 right pretty beautiful who knows if 1:14:16 that's accurate it's likely not but 1:14:17 that's okay still pretty um I'm going to 1:14:20 say 1:14:22 um 1:14:26 can you show me a map of the area that's 1:14:29 been uploaded to your knowledge 1:14:32 base I don't think it can do 1:14:35 this but we'll 1:14:39 see searching my knowledge because it 1:14:41 can see it's got GPT Vision but what I 1:14:45 don't know if it can do let's see for an 1:14:47 accurate and detailed 1:14:52 map 1:14:56 I have access to the detailed 1:14:58 information including the maps but I'm 1:14:59 unable to directly display these Maps 1:15:01 here the maps and my knowledge let me 1:15:04 see 1:15:06 um can you use markdown 1:15:10 to render the map in your knowledge base 1:15:14 locally here in the 1:15:20 browser I'm unable to render display IM 1:15:24 including Maps directly in the 1:15:31 browser okay so I'm going to go back 1:15:33 over 1:15:36 here um anyway well this this kind of 1:15:39 back and forth I'm not going to take 1:15:41 time to refine this now but I will 1:15:42 update it boom we'll update it so now 1:15:45 now it makes pretty 1:15:48 pictures and now we've got a 1:15:51 winter view the GPT 1:15:54 a winter specific be Lake and Wild Basin 1:15:57 hiking Sherpa and in in the summer I 1:16:00 could swap out the um those PDFs for the 1:16:03 summer ones right or I could put them 1:16:05 all in there and just say determine you 1:16:07 know based on the time of year which 1:16:09 which is the appropriate data to put in 1:16:10 there so this is how you make these 1:16:13 things tell me that isn't crazy it's 1:16:16 crazy I tell you it's crazy I tell you 1:16:19 it's just crazy people oh people oh 1:16:25 yeah all 1:16:34 right okay everything good all 1:16:41 right be Not Afraid holy 1:16:45 mackerel okay all right let's see people 1:16:48 what are we doing 1:16:49 here I'm a little 1:16:52 discombobulated what's 1:16:55 discombobulated that's an image we made 1:16:57 last night we made a GPT last night 1:16:59 called pavement Picasso which is a 1:17:03 sidewalk chalk drawing app where you can 1:17:05 upload a photo and it'll turn it into a 1:17:07 Picasso like chalk drawing pretty 1:17:12 cool all right all right all right all 1:17:15 right gonna write an article on how PE 1:17:18 people are blooming because of their AI 1:17:21 Journey yeah what's your what's your uh 1:17:24 what's your 1:17:27 flower oh what's your Bloom oh that's 1:17:30 cool that's cool cuno 1:17:35 um a I want to see that but but it's 1:17:39 it's amazing I 1:17:41 mean we're seeing in here kind of in 1:17:43 real time in real time people that keep 1:17:47 coming back to the lives are AI future 1:17:50 thank you for the demonstration you're 1:17:52 welcome uh that's why we're here that's 1:17:55 why we do this we do it to make it it 1:17:58 this isn't that scary you don't need to 1:18:00 be a [ __ ] technologist I mean these 1:18:03 gpts it's funny there was a there was a 1:18:06 decently prominent tick tocker that two 1:18:08 days ago goes oh those gpts are nothing 1:18:11 more than a glorified prompt rapper it 1:18:14 was just this 1:18:15 snarky 1:18:17 [ __ ] kind of thing and then today he 1:18:20 he said uh on second thought I've been 1:18:22 digging a little a little bit deeper and 1:18:24 these things seem fairly powerful these 1:18:26 things seem pretty profound so but what 1:18:30 these things represent to me because you 1:18:32 can upload your own knowledge to it 1:18:33 that's a big deal like what we just did 1:18:37 there so imagine you're the the Rocky 1:18:40 Mountain National Park you've got all 1:18:43 these documents you've got all these 1:18:44 pamphlets you got all this [ __ ] that you 1:18:47 try to get people to use and download 1:18:49 and da da da da da without a 1:18:52 programmer 1:18:54 with just someone who's curious about AI 1:18:57 sitting in the office you could upload 1:18:59 those PDFs to one of these things and 1:19:00 make the official Rocky Mountain 1:19:03 National Park interactive guide that 1:19:06 someone could say hey I'm at mile marker 1:19:08 7 what's some cool [ __ ] to do here hang 1:19:12 a left at the big rock and that's a 1:19:14 beautiful Lake 1:19:17 great if you make an ebook with your GPT 1:19:20 can you sell it legally speaking anyone 1:19:22 know if you make an ebook with your GPT 1:19:25 yes you can sell it now if you make a 1:19:29 GPT that's based on someone else's 1:19:32 copywritten work which right now I don't 1:19:34 see them preventing that in any way so I 1:19:37 could take Seth Goden you know business 1:19:40 books and upload them as Source data and 1:19:43 make a Seth goldenbot and if I'm sleazy 1:19:46 I don't even say who it's from and then 1:19:49 if I generated a book out of that yeah 1:19:51 then I think you're probably in in weird 1:19:54 water but yeah if you just if you just 1:19:57 it's if if you own the copyrights or 1:19:59 have access to the copyrights to the to 1:20:01 the source data if you're if you're 1:20:02 uploading Source 1:20:04 data um but yeah sure why 1:20:07 not why 1:20:10 not there I mean open AI is not going to 1:20:13 stop 1:20:14 you you know is Sarah Silverman if you 1:20:19 quote something from her book like the 1:20:21 thing I don't understand about the Sarah 1:20:22 Silverman thing she's saying well I can 1:20:25 get chat GPT to give a direct quote from 1:20:28 my book okay well if a reporter wrote 1:20:34 something about your book couldn't they 1:20:36 also write a direct quote about your 1:20:38 book because your books out there so I 1:20:42 understand the fear and the 1:20:44 trepidation but it's just 1:20:49 like oh tick 1:20:52 tock 1:20:54 oh Ticky tck Tock Ticky tck Tock Sean 1:21:02 McCracken oh we're back oh I lost all 1:21:05 the comments all right Joker needs a 1:21:07 butt to stop over scrolling into my 1:21:13 lives can virtually send a rocket to the 1:21:16 moon hey Apple user what's 1:21:19 happening all right let's see more likes 1:21:22 can attract more users yeah do me a 1:21:25 favor tap the screen if you're if you're 1:21:27 a fan of this if you're enjoying this 1:21:28 this evening uh do me a couple of favors 1:21:31 share the live right now um in 1:21:34 particular if you know it'll [ __ ] with 1:21:36 some friends of yours that are like I 1:21:37 don't like AI share share them alive 1:21:40 that you're watching something called 1:21:42 the AI learning 1:21:45 lab we'll get some we'll get some 1:21:47 naysayers in here see if we can convert 1:21:49 a 1:21:51 few that'll be fun yeah tap tap the 1:21:54 screen I appreciate that we can get some 1:21:55 more people in here because I you know 1:21:57 seriously I the reason I'm doing this is 1:22:01 I think that the more people that thank 1:22:04 you very much Sean the more people that 1:22:06 actually understand how these things 1:22:10 work what they're good at what they're 1:22:12 not good at where the boundaries are 1:22:14 where where they're absolutely [ __ ] 1:22:18 brilliant and where they're absolutely 1:22:19 [ __ ] trash right and there's a lot of 1:22:22 stuff that these tools right now are 1:22:25 trash at but it doesn't mean you 1:22:27 shouldn't use them it doesn't mean you 1:22:29 shouldn't experiment it doesn't mean you 1:22:31 shouldn't be curious as [ __ ] as cuno 1:22:34 said she's witnessing I'm witnessing it 1:22:36 too the people that are playing just 1:22:39 playing with AI are transforming 1:22:43 themselves they're getting smarter 1:22:45 they're getting more Curious they're 1:22:46 getting more 1:22:49 capable they're inspiring other people 1:22:52 they're forming group groups they're 1:22:53 forming companies like I'm watching it 1:22:55 in real time it's happening in the salon 1:22:57 regularly it's [ __ ] inspiring so is 1:23:01 this channel it's 1:23:04 amazing but you have to you it it is it 1:23:09 is literally impossible to 1:23:13 describe what generative AI is to 1:23:15 someone who hasn't played with it but 1:23:18 the minute you have your red pill 1:23:21 moment which like I hate the put it like 1:23:23 that I feel like right now everyone's in 1:23:25 sort of blue pill mode where they're 1:23:28 just going through life this is how we 1:23:29 do work this is how we do this this is 1:23:31 how we do that this is how we make art 1:23:33 this is how we make music this is how we 1:23:34 make websites the way we've always done 1:23:36 it with a little bit of assistance here 1:23:38 and 1:23:40 there and then when you start playing 1:23:43 with these tools and you have what we 1:23:45 call in here your Kevin McAllister 1:23:50 moment it's shortly after that that you 1:23:53 can't go back from 1:23:54 it once you sort of get oh this is more 1:23:59 than just a fancy Google 1:24:01 search which is that's how a lot of 1:24:04 times it's positioned or you know the 1:24:06 robots are going to kill us and then you 1:24:08 interact with them and you realize oh 1:24:10 that's kind of like just interacting 1:24:12 with an intern that's really [ __ ] 1:24:15 smart yeah it 1:24:18 is thank you Sherry D I appreciate that 1:24:23 so so you know if we can get some folks 1:24:26 in here don't rub your hands anymore oh 1:24:27 is that driving you 1:24:30 [Laughter] 1:24:33 crazy this is an ASMR Channel now you 1:24:36 have dry hands I 1:24:38 do um have to ask to include all the 1:24:43 Humanity's knowledge yeah you can do 1:24:46 that uh Kyle make a 1:24:48 bot to name all of your 1:24:51 Irregulars 1:24:59 name in what sense like pull the names 1:25:01 out of Discord grab them out of here I 1:25:04 don't quite know how to do 1:25:05 that neuros spicy reaction romantic rubs 1:25:09 hands again exactly don't [ __ ] tell 1:25:12 me what to 1:25:20 do welcome to Chad add 1:25:23 we're going to [ __ ] some [ __ ] 1:25:28 up oh my God we closed some business 1:25:31 today we closed the contract 1:25:34 yay it's been it's been a rough couple 1:25:37 of couple of months with with the 1:25:39 closing of the business like we've 1:25:42 been chasing that crap down everything's 1:25:45 just slow everything's 1:25:50 like thank you very much thank you thank 1:25:52 thank you thank you thank you Sherry D 1:25:54 thank you jrc Source Camp I know what's 1:25:57 the business so my current business is a 1:25:58 company called storyvine which is an 1:26:00 automated video storytelling platform 1:26:03 and we do a lot of work in healthcare 1:26:04 and Pharma so like one of the the deal 1:26:07 that we Clos today um it's for a farmer 1:26:11 brand that's telling patient stories so 1:26:13 patients will be using our app to tell 1:26:15 their patient Journey um hcps so doctors 1:26:19 will be um using our app to talk about 1:26:22 the the um treatment and then the sales 1:26:26 reps for the Pharma company are going to 1:26:28 be using our app to make 1:26:30 personalized videos to doctors so hey Dr 1:26:33 Smith we've got new research I'd love to 1:26:35 come tell you about it and so yeah so 1:26:37 that kicks off I think next week even um 1:26:41 that's cool and we've been around for 11 1:26:43 and a half years we're mostly Healthcare 1:26:45 and Pharma and uh yeah it's exciting so 1:26:49 thank you thank you very much I'll send 1:26:50 you a bottle of lotion thank you thank 1:26:52 you Ken 1:26:58 hair growth geek okay hair growth geek 1:27:00 is going to send me something to deal 1:27:01 with my ever increasing Cranium it's 1:27:05 it's she what hair growth geek thinks 1:27:08 because it's her business is that my 1:27:10 hairline is receding what she doesn't 1:27:12 realize is that AI is just making me 1:27:15 like an inch and a half 1:27:17 smarter this is this is all increased 1:27:20 cranial capacity it's not it's not less 1:27:24 hair I hate to break it to you and she 1:27:26 she's she's very 1:27:28 biased hair growth geek is very biased 1:27:31 very biased she does she doesn't think 1:27:33 it's possible that just at 58 you could 1:27:36 gain an inch and a half on your head and 1:27:38 she just she doesn't think that's 1:27:40 reality I've made a GPT explaining the 1:27:43 phenomenon therefore it's 1:27:45 true some of us use different names in 1:27:47 the Discord on the Tik Tok and in real 1:27:49 life oh yeah I know so Christopher 1:27:52 Ramsey so one of the things that we're 1:27:53 going to do when we move to Mighty 1:27:54 networks is we're going to request that 1:27:56 people use their real names to avoid 1:27:59 that cuz it a it's a community we we 1:28:01 want the community to like get to know 1:28:03 one another and things like that and so 1:28:05 I think that's going to help so it's not 1:28:06 going to be a requirement but it's going 1:28:08 to be a request it's going to be a 1:28:10 request I want to know who people are 1:28:12 what is your name you know my name I 1:28:14 tell you my name oh hey Mark oh 1:28:21 hi 1:28:23 [Music] 1:28:27 I got a five Hood five head we good 1:28:31 bro I don't know what that's in 1:28:33 reference 1:28:34 to 1:28:36 uh are you accepting unpaid data interns 1:28:40 uh we don't we don't have a we we're not 1:28:45 we're not doing a kind of volume that we 1:28:46 have anything we we don't have any scale 1:28:48 of data so so a data intern job at St 1:28:52 Vine would be boring as [ __ ] be like be 1:28:56 like every week could you run this 1:28:57 report on how many videos these salese 1:29:00 film it's like it's not it's not a 1:29:04 lot yes your brain is growing we do that 1:29:07 too oh Oh that's oh that's true hair 1:29:09 growth geek you've got those 1:29:12 supplements that's really good always 1:29:14 selling always be 1:29:16 selling oh that's great oh what the 1:29:19 hell's going on in Discord 1:29:21 discord's weirding out on my 1:29:25 iPad not a recing 1:29:28 hairline make a mark 1:29:32 GPT I'm Zach zero 1:29:34 zbin what do you mean make a mark GPT 1:29:37 Mark 1:29:42 who just some guy named Mark oh oh hey 1:29:46 Mark hi that 1:29:51 one 1:29:53 I wonder I wonder if you could get chat 1:29:55 gbt to only respond oh hey Mark hi you 1:29:59 probably 1:30:01 could 1:30:03 uh so I'm all brains because I'm bald 1:30:06 nice I'm Dalton from Southern Indiana 1:30:09 hey Dalton AI future I like the name I 1:30:13 like Dalton too good name too one day 1:30:16 left for the holidays not receding 1:30:18 hairline we have an advancing forehead 1:30:20 exactly exactly I just it's look look 1:30:24 how 1:30:26 it's it's getting back 1:30:28 there I'm getting I got it I got I got 1:30:31 the I got the Trump the Trump fold over 1:30:33 here covering that 1:30:34 [Laughter] 1:30:39 one oh man creepy 1:30:42 dolls L yep oh hey Mark 1:30:47 hi Christopher ramsy what a story finds 1:30:52 Emma r r what what are you an 1:30:54 investor um I don't I don't think it is 1:30:57 polite in in public company to talk 1:31:01 about our Revenue but um but we're doing 1:31:04 okay we're doing good we're an 11 and a 1:31:06 half year old company we've been 1:31:07 profitable since 1:31:08 2017 and we're actually looking to uh to 1:31:11 sell the company we've got some interest 1:31:13 from some strategics and I think we're 1:31:15 going to accelerate that in the 1:31:17 beginning part of the year so I'm 1:31:19 excited about 1:31:20 that um have you heard anything about 1:31:23 Biden trying to change place regulations 1:31:26 on the internet yeah he just said 1:31:28 something 1:31:30 about I I don't know like I did I heard 1:31:33 something today but like I you can 1:31:37 never like I I haven't seen the neutral 1:31:40 or or what would be considered a neutral 1:31:41 news source on it so I just saw someone 1:31:44 say something that Biden's trying to do 1:31:46 something where he's taking control of 1:31:47 something they they didn't take control 1:31:50 of social media but they're going to 1:31:51 take control of this I don't know it it 1:31:53 sounded 1:31:55 like political [ __ ] to me but who 1:31:58 knows I mean at least they're paying 1:32:00 attention to it here's here's the 1:32:01 reality they know that this shit's too 1:32:04 important when you when you have thank 1:32:07 you very much when you have a technology 1:32:10 chat 1:32:11 gbt that gets to 100 million users in 1:32:14 six weeks it's the fastest adoption of 1:32:16 technology and 1:32:17 history they're not going to let it 1:32:20 they're not going to shut it down 1:32:23 they're going to they're going to make 1:32:24 sure that whoever needs to get you know 1:32:27 their cut of the pie gets their cut of 1:32:29 the pie but they're not going to shut it 1:32:30 down and plus you have meta put out all 1:32:33 their you know the Llama models so 1:32:34 there's enough open- Source activity out 1:32:36 here that even if you know they start 1:32:39 [ __ ] with the bigger companies 1:32:40 there's going to be there's enough 1:32:41 activity right now it's it's it's it's 1:32:44 going to squish through their fingers if 1:32:46 they try to control it so um so here's 1:32:51 here's this is just my personal 1:32:54 philosophy I'm not a legislator I'm not 1:32:57 in politics I'm very cynical about the 1:33:01 state of our politics right now so I 1:33:03 don't think they're going to get [ __ ] 1:33:04 [ __ ] 1:33:05 done for for some number of years and in 1:33:09 the meantime we keep building so My 1:33:12 Philosophy right now is I'm going to do 1:33:14 everything in my 1:33:17 control and just ignore all the [ __ ] out 1:33:19 of my control and I think in general in 1:33:22 life it's a less stressful way to 1:33:26 live like here's the 10 things [ __ ] 1:33:30 up your life right okay these four I can 1:33:33 do something about these 1:33:36 six I mean it sucks I could worry about 1:33:40 them but if I can't do anything about it 1:33:42 I'm just going to do that that's why I 1:33:43 do 1:33:45 these you know did I start open Ai 1:33:49 No am I a Stamford mathematician no I 1:33:52 have a degree in acting and I'm a CEO of 1:33:54 a 1:33:55 video storytelling 1:33:59 company but I know this is going to 1:34:01 change the world and so I come here 1:34:03 every night because I can control that 1:34:05 and I can control you know getting that 1:34:07 stuff out there just 10 yeah exactly 10 1:34:12 things [ __ ] up my life it's true pton 1:34:15 it's probably more more like 97 99 1:34:20 problems and know and a wife could be 1:34:24 one and a 99 problems and a champ is 1:34:29 one champ is in my control no he's not 1:34:33 oh this is a funny thing wait what 1:34:34 what's lunti say say here I write about 1:34:36 AI ethics policy and governance then 1:34:38 meet with politicians oh and talk to 1:34:41 blank faces yeah yeah exactly 1:34:45 exactly so even if they say they're 1:34:48 going to they're going to control AI a 1:34:52 they can't B they don't want to and C 1:34:55 they're incompetent and they don't 1:34:58 understand what WiFi is do you think 1:34:59 they understand the most profoundly 1:35:02 powerful technology ever 1:35:04 released into the hands of mere mortals 1:35:08 no so so we're going to be fine we going 1:35:12 to be fine we're going to be fine thank 1:35:14 you for doing this Kyle thank you Cam I 1:35:16 appreciate that thank you for showing up 1:35:18 all the time and you have a really great 1:35:20 attitude and you're doing cool stuff 1:35:21 it's really it again I like I get very 1:35:24 inspired when I come to these things 1:35:26 even if I don't want to show up 1:35:29 sometimes Clint Copperhead they ain't 1:35:31 stopping us now we're on the move oh 1:35:33 yeah oh 1:35:36 [Music] 1:35:39 yeah they don't want to they can't they 1:35:42 won't they're 1:35:43 scared yeah you know lunar stick I mean 1:35:47 you know what might be interesting 1:35:50 is is um 1:35:55 I guess they wouldn't give a 1:35:56 [ __ ] it would be cool to do something 1:35:59 like this for politicians that are 1:36:01 scared but they don't have time they 1:36:03 just they don't want to talk to anyone 1:36:05 they don't want to actually learn 1:36:06 something like they don't want to talk 1:36:07 to anyone unless there's some financial 1:36:09 interest in it are you going to donate 1:36:10 to the reelection campaign how about you 1:36:12 go [ __ ] yourself if not so but it would 1:36:16 be kind of cool to just get like a room 1:36:19 of like two or 300 1:36:23 legislators and just spend two or three 1:36:28 hours just like just on chat 1:36:31 GPT look at the look at what this one 1:36:34 tool does spend two or three hours and 1:36:36 just blow their [ __ ] minds like demo 1:36:38 after demo after demo where they're just 1:36:42 like you figure out who's the highest 1:36:45 ranking member in there you get all 1:36:46 their writings you make them a GPT of 1:36:48 their writing and say Here's an 1:36:51 interactive tool where your constituents 1:36:52 can interact with the [ __ ] you voted 1:36:54 [Laughter] 1:37:01 on create some fundraising Bots that 1:37:04 would get him excited you close with 1:37:06 fundraising 1:37:08 Bots that would be fun let's do that 1:37:11 let's put that 1:37:13 together I don't understand fine tuning 1:37:16 versus retrieval augmented generation or 1:37:20 rag um 1:37:34 um I don't I don't know the details well 1:37:38 enough to know 1:37:40 um I don't know the details well enough 1:37:43 to really explain it there there's 1:37:44 there's a number of different ways that 1:37:46 you can 1:37:48 get data to be readable by these large 1:37:52 language models right one is you've got 1:37:55 your trained base model and then you 1:37:57 fine-tune on top of it so you train on 1:37:59 top of it and you take data and you 1:38:02 embed it and you put it in Vector 1:38:03 databases and you're basically kind of 1:38:06 doing like little mini extensions to the 1:38:08 base 1:38:09 model um you can also tie 1:38:13 in rag which is retrieval augmented 1:38:17 generation 1:38:18 where when someone puts in a search they 1:38:21 go to the the fine tune large language 1:38:23 model to the vector database they pull 1:38:25 some answers from that if it's 1:38:27 incomplete it basically then says oh I 1:38:30 don't know enough over here but I do 1:38:32 know that I've got information stored in 1:38:34 this database over here that I can pull 1:38:36 specific things from and that's when you 1:38:39 upload your knowledge into these gpts 1:38:41 that's sort of what it's doing it's like 1:38:43 a mini rag I guess I don't or maybe it's 1:38:44 full rag I don't know and it and it 1:38:47 pulls some of the data from those 1:38:49 uploaded documents and then feeds that 1:38:51 back to the large language model to 1:38:53 expand the answer basically um so that's 1:38:56 generally the difference Peyton here 1:38:58 might know better what I what I would 1:39:00 say is um join the salon and and and 1:39:05 join Pat's mechanics Guild because 1:39:09 there's Geeks in there there there's 1:39:12 actual like scientists that can answer 1:39:15 that in a very detailed way and if you 1:39:17 really want to geek out that's what the 1:39:19 mechanics Guild is for and P's in here 1:39:21 lot so if he's in here tonight he can 1:39:23 probably even answer that question so I 1:39:25 think I just butchered that but it's 1:39:27 somewhere in the neighborhood of one of 1:39:29 them is 1:39:30 more mathematical and one is more like a 1:39:33 a database search that then augments the 1:39:35 the large language model search I just 1:39:37 something was pinned there that I just 1:39:38 missed so sorry about 1:39:40 that politicians should have continued 1:39:43 edu hours like nurses and docs and have 1:39:45 them complimented that would be nice hey 1:39:47 chat GPT how do we reduce the need to 1:39:49 eliminate the need for politicians well 1:39:53 it's you know it's funny you say that 1:39:55 quick take Jake David Shapiro the guy 1:39:57 that I I tell people they should watch 1:39:59 all the time go go to YouTube find David 1:40:02 Shapiro the AI guy not Ben Shapiro the 1:40:05 other guy David 1:40:07 Shapiro um and he talks he talks about 1:40:11 that idea 1:40:13 of when you have a constitutional 1:40:18 um model like anthropic does 1:40:22 you could basically put together 1:40:24 autonomous 1:40:25 agents that do make legislative 1:40:28 decisions and will make them better and 1:40:31 more transparently than people so I know 1:40:34 that freaks people the [ __ ] out but how 1:40:37 much worse could it get I saw this today 1:40:40 take a pick of the books on your 1:40:42 bookshelf and have chat 1:40:44 GPT analyze and describe what kind of 1:40:47 person you are ooh that's good let's do 1:40:50 that wait do I I have any books 1:40:52 here I don't have 1:40:55 crap I think I think that says a lot 1:40:59 I've got fly fishing books magazines 1:41:01 with meat in them or on 1:41:05 them pictures of the family anim 1:41:08 monopoly.com Edition I don't have I 1:41:11 don't have good books but that's a 1:41:13 really cool idea yeah I like that I need 1:41:16 to watch David Shapiro still you really 1:41:19 do just just because just watch some of 1:41:22 his 1:41:24 um watch some of his longer videos on 1:41:27 kind of the future of AI what's coming 1:41:29 the future of work AGI within 18 months 1:41:32 is one to watch AGI within 12 months the 1:41:34 six-month update where he says yep it's 1:41:36 still going to be here within 12 months 1:41:38 AGI if you don't know stands for um 1:41:41 artificial general intelligence which 1:41:43 basically means they just came out with 1:41:45 a paper on this someone just came out 1:41:47 with a paper a five level definition of 1:41:50 what AGI is is right now we're at level 1:41:54 one and they're thinking that we'll be 1:41:57 somewhere in the level three or four 1:41:58 within a 1:42:00 year maybe three level three it's like 1:42:05 50% of the tasks it's better than a 1:42:07 human it's better than most humans or 1:42:09 All Humans I don't know 1:42:11 it's these things are going to get very 1:42:14 very powerful 1:42:17 people what's going on 1:42:20 here we need a how did your politician 1:42:24 invest GPT that's actually you know what 1:42:27 jenu there's there's so there's a group 1:42:30 of guys that I know in New York that 1:42:32 started the sun Sunshine Foundation that 1:42:34 was exactly that they wanted to use Sun 1:42:37 Sunshine is the best 1:42:39 disinfectant and they wanted to reveal 1:42:43 the you 1:42:44 know where the money went follow the 1:42:47 money with politicians and they they 1:42:49 actually just closed closed down the non 1:42:51 profit you could absolutely make you 1:42:54 could make a GPT per 1:43:00 politician that would be really 1:43:04 interesting because you could hook it 1:43:06 you could hook it to data sources and 1:43:09 you could have a GPT per per politician 1:43:12 and then you could have a master GPT 1:43:15 that just pulls in all the data you you 1:43:17 could interact with it you could pre you 1:43:19 know how did they vote on the issue I 1:43:21 care about out it 1:43:25 comes what do you say to the criticism 1:43:27 that AI will just widen the wealth 1:43:29 wealth poverty 1:43:33 Gap 1:43:38 um if you look at some of the 1:43:40 predictions of 1:43:43 the growth that AI is predicted to 1:43:48 generate it it's an expansion of 1:43:52 prosperity not not a it's not just 1:43:56 maintaining so if if our economy is like 1:44:00 this if AI were just a tool that made 1:44:04 things more efficient what happens is 1:44:05 you got this many people working for 1:44:07 this much output right and it and in 1:44:11 general it's kind of this stable kind of 1:44:13 thing you have a tool come along like Ai 1:44:16 and if it's just about efficiency what 1:44:18 happens is you reduce the need 1:44:22 for people right and then just maintain 1:44:25 this there's there's a very real 1:44:27 possibility here that we need less 1:44:29 people to do it and there's more money 1:44:32 right so it's it it does this which 1:44:36 which makes this Gap massive 1:44:40 but what happens with that increased 1:44:43 Prosperity is the big question and I am 1:44:47 not an economist and I am a wead cynical 1:44:51 so the cynical side of me says if 1:44:54 there's an upside of profit they're just 1:44:57 going to take it and put it in their 1:44:59 pocket Sam 1:45:02 Alman you know who's on the front edge 1:45:04 of this spear right now with chat GPT 1:45:07 he's the CEO of open AI he created a 1:45:10 project called worldcoin and what 1:45:12 worldcoin is and there's a couple of 1:45:14 things going on that open I open AI have 1:45:16 done that I think are 1:45:18 interesting when open AI switched from a 1:45:21 nonprofit to a for-profit company they 1:45:25 set it up in such a way with with a 1:45:27 mechanism called a cap for 1:45:31 profit so anyone that invests in open AI 1:45:35 can only make only can only make 100x 1:45:38 their 1:45:40 investment anything above 100x their 1:45:42 investment goes back into the pool 1:45:45 basically it goes to the nonprofit and 1:45:47 then Sam Alman is going to use that 1:45:49 excess profit to f fund Universal basic 1:45:52 income and a whole sub economy that 1:45:56 takes 1:45:57 the um the extra Revenue that these 1:46:00 things generate and funnel it back to 1:46:02 the people that are you know kicked out 1:46:05 of the the 1:46:06 system now will that model win Will he 1:46:10 win will will it make more money than 1:46:13 that 100x return all of that I don't 1:46:15 know I assume it will because this stuff 1:46:17 is going to change everything and like 1:46:20 the trillions of dollars that are are 1:46:23 predicted assuming open AI is still in 1:46:25 the game they're probably going to do 1:46:28 okay um so so one piece of this is there 1:46:33 is sort of dramatically increased 1:46:35 Prosperity without dramatically 1:46:38 increasing the amount of work to do it 1:46:40 there's another thing that's happening 1:46:41 it's kind of what cuno was talking 1:46:44 about what's easy to talk about right 1:46:47 now is everyone's going to lose their 1:46:48 jobs ah we which yes it that's going to 1:46:53 be really [ __ ] up and really scary 1:46:56 but and again one of the reasons this 1:46:58 channel 1:46:59 exists 1:47:02 people all of us as individuals are 1:47:05 being handed tools that amplify what we 1:47:09 can do I can now make an image like that 1:47:13 where a year ago I 1:47:14 couldn't I can now make the song that I 1:47:17 played at the beginning of this live 1:47:19 which I can write songs but I can't 1:47:21 write them like that so so all of us are 1:47:23 being given increased capabilities and 1:47:26 if we get curious and we get adventurous 1:47:28 and we start playing even if we're just 1:47:31 placed we're going to find all sorts of 1:47:34 new and inventive ways to use these 1:47:36 tools to generate our own 1:47:39 Prosperity so and I don't think a lot of 1:47:41 people are talking about that because 1:47:43 it's it's really easy just to go oh AI 1:47:46 is just an efficiency tool and AI is 1:47:48 going to kill jobs and a and the robots 1:47:50 are going to kill kill us and the robots 1:47:53 are stealing and everyone's getting 1:47:55 ripped off and like it's really easy to 1:47:57 go to the negative place with this stuff 1:47:59 because it's just societally it's there 1:48:02 Hollywood's been telling us how evil 1:48:03 this [ __ ] is forever right there's 1:48:05 people are afraid of 1:48:09 change 1:48:12 so it is very 1:48:15 possible that AI dramatically increases 1:48:18 the wealth 1:48:19 Gap 1:48:21 it is also possible that it changes the 1:48:24 game enough that it actually reduces 1:48:28 it but how do we get there I have not a 1:48:31 [ __ ] 1:48:32 clue but I think I I think the people 1:48:36 that are all the pieces that I've seen 1:48:38 about the the wealth Gap being just just 1:48:41 obliterating the economy kind of ignore 1:48:44 the they you know what they they all 1:48:46 take the the the sort of dramatic view 1:48:48 of like all these people are going to 1:48:49 lose their jobs and then they will never 1:48:51 work again is effectively what they say 1:48:55 right which is what all the farmers said 1:48:57 when the tractor was invented what are 1:49:00 all these poor people going to do well 1:49:01 they moved to [ __ ] cities and came up 1:49:03 with whole new ways to to to make money 1:49:07 entirely 1:49:08 new Industries because of the steam 1:49:13 engine it's a it's a completely new 1:49:16 thing this is one of those this is like 1:49:19 the printing press this is like fire 1:49:24 writing printing press steam engine 1:49:28 computer let's we'll throw computer in 1:49:34 there there's not that many of these 1:49:36 that come along this is one of the big 1:49:38 ones it's going to fundamentally alter I 1:49:41 think everything economy's definition of 1:49:45 work how we work where we work what we 1:49:48 do how stuff's created how we interact 1:49:50 act with complicated 1:49:53 systems so the wealth poverty Gap is 1:49:57 exactly why you should learn AI 1:49:59 absolutely anyone the the next 18 months 1:50:03 we all 1:50:05 have a massive 1:50:09 opportunity to be AI literate when a lot 1:50:13 of the world's going to ignore it and 1:50:14 they're going to get blindsided by this 1:50:19 [ __ ] and will be like oh I know what to 1:50:21 do now I know what to do I know what to 1:50:23 do I know how to do this oh I can make a 1:50:25 GPT that does that 1:50:28 oh that's going to be us the neuros 1:50:31 spices all running around going I got an 1:50:33 idea follow 1:50:35 me that's what that's what the AI Salon 1:50:39 is just a [ __ ] group of weirdos going 1:50:42 come on come here it's good come around 1:50:45 the corner take the red 1:50:48 pill I think FIFA people will hopefully 1:50:51 bring up the people with them not divide 1:50:54 using AI well quick take Jake that's so 1:50:57 why I talk about the values of the 1:50:59 salon curiosity generosity exploration 1:51:04 collaboration inclusion 1:51:07 empathy why those 1:51:12 six because I 1:51:15 think I think in a in an economy of 1:51:19 scarcity the natural instinct is if I 1:51:22 figure this out I'm going to keep it to 1:51:23 myself but we're entering a world of 1:51:26 abundance we're entering a new 1:51:27 Renaissance where there's going to be 1:51:30 scientific breakthroughs creative 1:51:32 breakthroughs productivity breakthroughs 1:51:35 like whole new Industries created we 1:51:37 we're entering an incredibly 1:51:40 prosperous generative era right 1:51:43 generative AI is generating more than 1:51:46 documents it's 1:51:49 generating 1:51:51 and 1:51:53 so share all you want there's there like 1:51:58 to be clear so McKenzie just did what 1:52:01 time is it I got to I gotta go soon um 1:52:03 McKenzie just did this piece on on um oh 1:52:08 the hell was it oh how many people use 1:52:10 chat 1:52:12 gbt it's less than 1:52:16 20% it's less than 1:52:18 20% 80% of people aren't using it a lot 1:52:22 of them don't even know what it is so 1:52:25 this industry whatever this industry is 1:52:27 it's not really an industry right now 1:52:28 it's a bunch of fragmented pieces of 1:52:30 technology that all do cool [ __ ] sort of 1:52:34 well right it's very fragmented we are 1:52:37 so early how can I join the salon go to 1:52:39 the 1:52:41 salon. let me pull the URL up on screen 1:52:46 here go 1:52:48 there and read the first link the first 1:52:52 link describes what the salon is it 1:52:53 talks about our values it's really 1:52:55 important and then the second link is 1:52:57 the Discord and the third link are the 1:53:00 meetups so the 1:53:02 meetups are where we meet each other and 1:53:05 talk about this stuff and bring in 1:53:06 people to speak and say here's what I 1:53:08 figured out here's what I figured 1:53:11 out but the industry right now is this 1:53:13 really narrow narrow like the technology 1:53:18 isn't there the the there's no experts 1:53:20 right now it's this really narrow 1:53:22 thing but it's very quickly going to do 1:53:25 this and then it's going to do 1:53:28 that the next 18 months is going to be 1:53:31 kind of this phase it's it's like it's 1:53:33 going to be this small and then it's 1:53:34 going to seem like it gets really big 1:53:37 but it's not it's going to we're going 1:53:38 to go from like 20% people using chat 1:53:40 GPT to like 40% still going to be 60% of 1:53:43 the people not using it there's going to 1:53:44 be a Tipping Point where all of a sudden 1:53:46 it's like oh [ __ ] this stuff's 1:53:49 everywhere 1:53:51 and if you're in the game if you're AI 1:53:53 literate when the industry does 1:53:56 that it's all 1:53:58 opportunity people are going to be 1:54:00 [ __ ] panicked looking for anyone that 1:54:03 can spell AI you can spell AI you're our 1:54:06 new VP come with 1:54:09 [Laughter] 1:54:11 me 150 viewers you might do a quick link 1:54:14 show I'll do a quick link show and I got 1:54:16 to stop rubbing my hands it's it's 1:54:18 driving people crazy it just makes me 1:54:21 want to rub them more it's like so hard 1:54:24 not to 1:54:27 do all right I'm going to knock this out 1:54:29 really quick because I got to go um but 1:54:33 what I'm about to do get ready to 1:54:34 screenshot you know how to screenshot on 1:54:36 your phone two 1:54:39 buttons I've made a list of a bunch of 1:54:41 different 1:54:42 links and so oh here's a good thing okay 1:54:46 you're going to do a screenshot of the 1:54:48 links on my page and you're like but 1:54:49 Kyle I don't feel like typing them all 1:54:51 in you don't have to anymore cuz GPT has 1:54:54 Vision now so do your 1:54:57 screenshots and then either in your open 1:55:00 AI app your chat GPT app or in you know 1:55:04 on your desktop upload the pictures and 1:55:06 say pull out all the URLs for me 1:55:10 okay all 1:55:13 right okay so take a screenshot of that 1:55:17 that's that's just so all of these 1:55:19 bullet points are what open AI announced 1:55:24 last Monday every one of these bullet 1:55:26 points is a whole [ __ ] rabbit hole 1:55:28 and like these are major major 1:55:30 advancements that just got dumped into 1:55:32 the into the universe from these guys so 1:55:35 chat. open AI is the sort of consumer 1:55:37 that's the chat 1:55:38 GPT um for the rest of us and then the 1:55:41 developers use this area called The 1:55:43 Playground 1:55:44 platform. open.com 1:55:47 playground um so if you want to go play 1:55:50 there you can you can see some of the 1:55:52 stuff the Geeks are working on see all 1:55:54 the documentation geek out yourself um 1:55:58 these are some some they're not the big 1:56:01 four anymore cuz I don't have um chat 1:56:03 gbt in here but I added grock in here 1:56:05 cuz it's coming so grock is Elon musk's 1:56:08 new you know Twitter fueled large 1:56:11 language model you got Claude which is 1:56:13 from a company named anthropic you got 1:56:16 Bard and Bing which are both connected 1:56:17 to the internet Bard as soon as they 1:56:20 release Gemini is I think going to get 1:56:22 really really good so pay attention just 1:56:25 listen for Gemini has launched if you 1:56:28 see Gemini on Twitter in relation to b 1:56:30 or Google that's a big deal um other 1:56:34 important llms Pi Pi is from a company 1:56:38 called inflection they raised $1.3 1:56:40 billion to go build their own GPU Farm 1:56:44 Pi is designed to be conversational it's 1:56:47 also designed to be um 1:56:50 a personal assistant so they're going to 1:56:52 be building conversational agents that 1:56:55 can take action so that's really 1:56:57 interesting perplexity is also very uh 1:57:00 impressive PO is good but po just got 1:57:03 obliterated by all the new open AI stuff 1:57:07 image creation Dolly 3 is inside chat 1:57:09 gp4 right now mid journey is still the 1:57:12 King of the Hill for art quality but I 1:57:15 don't think that's going to last long um 1:57:17 Leonardo well although I don't know I I 1:57:20 have a feeling mid Journey's about to 1:57:22 release a bunch of new stuff that's 1:57:24 going to keep them relevant but we'll 1:57:26 see um Leonardo is a web front end to 1:57:30 stable diffusion fireflies from Adobe if 1:57:32 you work for a company do that the 1:57:34 prompt book down below is um really cool 1:57:38 if you want to learn how to prompt these 1:57:39 image generation tools and like what 1:57:41 they actually know which is mind-blowing 1:57:43 how much they actually know um video 1:57:47 holy crap the the runway ml stuff that 1:57:50 I'm going to make this 1:57:52 yellow because the runway ml stuff where 1:57:55 you can do you can paint areas where you 1:57:58 want movement in in a video is crazy 1:58:03 town it's crazy town it's crazy 1:58:09 town it's crazy town all 1:58:13 right that's that let me close 1:58:18 this 1:58:20 [Music] 1:58:22 okay music and audio sunno I just demoed 1:58:25 that 1:58:26 earlier here this you give it a prompt 1:58:29 and it writes you a song with lyrics and 1:58:33 music is this it yeah here's here's one 1:58:36 that I 1:58:38 did oh that that one scares people let's 1:58:41 do go to this bottom 1:58:44 [Music] 1:58:48 line all FY 1:58:54 shoes she's too busy 1:59:01 Dan all right so the words the music the 1:59:04 singing was all done by AI in about 2 1:59:06 minutes that's sunno 11 Labs you can 1:59:09 upload your voice and and uh it will 1:59:12 synthesize it these two will generate 1:59:14 music so screenshot 1:59:18 that 1:59:20 um 3D worlds and objects um Wonder 1:59:23 Dynamics is mind-blowing blockade Labs 1:59:26 is super cool it demos really well um 1:59:28 it's not super impressive technically 1:59:30 yet but what it does is super cool I 1:59:32 forget what Luma is but it's it's worth 1:59:34 putting on the list and then these guys 1:59:37 David Shapiro he's the one working on 1:59:39 AGI he's written five books on it he's 1:59:41 got a cognitive architecture open source 1:59:43 thing he's got his latest project are 1:59:46 agent swarms which sound [ __ ] 1:59:48 terrifying but it's basically taking 1:59:50 gpts and nesting them together and 1:59:53 having gpts generate other gpts 1:59:56 dynamically based on your goal and they 1:59:58 all talk to each other that's his latest 2:00:02 project Ethan mullik Wharton business 2:00:05 school Professor one useful thing follow 2:00:07 him everywhere follow him on Twitter 2:00:09 follow him on LinkedIn follow the one 2:00:11 useful thing like both of those top two 2:00:14 guys will blow your [ __ ] mind Paul 2:00:17 rer with the marketing I a AI Institute 2:00:19 and Rachel Woods here on Tik Tok both of 2:00:22 them are good if you're in business and 2:00:23 you just want good practical business 2:00:26 advice um and then the directories down 2:00:29 below there are cool um if you subscribe 2:00:32 to this channel you get access to the 2:00:34 private Irregulars channel on Discord 2:00:37 and it's just swell it supports the 2:00:38 channel I appreciate it um the YouTube 2:00:43 channel here um I've got a YouTube 2:00:47 channel that is the recordings of these 2:00:50 lives and um I think that we're going to 2:00:55 be able to make a GPT we're going to be 2:00:57 able to make an AI learning lab 2:01:00 GPT that takes all of the transcripts of 2:01:03 all of these lives and a you can 2:01:06 interact with them and ask questions 2:01:08 about them but I don't think it's going 2:01:09 to be that long until we can actually 2:01:11 pull clips from the videos based on what 2:01:15 you're talking about so anyway so that's 2:01:17 that the salon is the salon Story by my 2:01:20 company and then tiny URL that's just a 2:01:22 big long list of tools that Theon has 2:01:24 put together based on what I mentioned 2:01:26 and I think that's it we have a scammer 2:01:28 if you follow AI learning lab with two 2:01:31 L's that's a guy that ripped off all my 2:01:33 videos and [ __ ] him so please unfollow 2:01:36 him and refollow me that's it everybody 2:01:41 all right 2:01:48 so I got to get out of here people it's 2:01:50 late here in Denver Town Denver Town 2:01:54 Denver town all right everybody is the 2:01:58 salon 2:01:59 woke um we're not [ __ ] if that's 2:02:03 what you 2:02:04 mean like I said read the values of the 2:02:08 salon if you don't resonate with them 2:02:10 it's not your 2:02:12 crew yes check out the lives on YouTube 2:02:14 a learning lab show Kyle some love oh 2:02:18 some love and subs subcribe damn it 2:02:20 thank you Sher bear that's very nice of 2:02:22 you I like it when people swear on my 2:02:27 behalf all right for the tardies like 2:02:29 myself for regulars and mods present 2:02:31 Turtles llamas
