well unless 5:53 you're in another part of the world 5:54 could be 5:54 [Applause] 5:56 morning good good evening to one and all 6:00 uh welcome this is the AI learning lab 6:02 as evidenced by the Big Shiny Crystal 6:05 and sign here that was produced by 6:07 Danielle thank you Danielle for that I 6:09 just realized that was my image that is 6:10 your image in fact we have some some fun 6:13 ones from Corey uh Corey Sandler there 6:16 some cute little doggies too this has 6:19 been the most amazing thing I have seen 6:21 so far well you know it's it's we set 6:25 the bar low here at the AI learning 6:28 lab 6:31 good to see you James what's happening 6:33 lunar stick I haven't seen you in a 6:35 while hope you're well good to see 6:38 you welcome welcome welcome welcome 6:41 welcome all right um yeah the big news 6:45 is that there's no big news uh it looks 6:48 like whoever found the the uh release 6:52 notes in the code for Google 6:54 Gemini found today that they were 6:57 shifted from February 7th which is today 7:01 to February 8th which is tomorrow 7:04 Angelique yep 5:00 a.m. in 7:06 Greece welcome welcome 7:09 welcome 7:12 um and then right before I came on I had 7:15 an idea and I made a video and I'm going 7:18 to show you the video and then I'm going 7:19 to show you how I made the video it's 7:21 kind of 7:24 cool yeah it's kind of 7:26 cool cuz I've been thinking a lot about 7:29 I've been think think a lot about my my 7:31 company storyvine so I'm the founder and 7:33 CEO of a company called storyvine which 7:35 which does automated authentic video 7:39 storytelling and we've been doing it for 7:41 11 and a half years we do it in the 7:42 healthcare and Pharma 7:44 space 7:46 and as this AI stuff's getting 7:49 fancier I'm realizing like the automated 7:52 part of our business is getting less and 7:55 less sexy but the authentic the 7:57 authenticity part of our business is 8:00 getting more and more sexy so I had an 8:03 idea for what if we kind of leaned into 8:05 this deep fake thing and what if I 8:07 leaned into trimming my eyebrows and 8:09 getting a haircut good Lord I look like 8:12 a I look like a bad Professor it is the 8:15 AI learning lab so I I suppose having 8:18 the insane Professor look is 8:21 appropriate Mr K's in here we've got 8:23 Educators in here so and I got the I got 8:26 the I got this the Sears carpet salesman 8:30 you know whatever these are wings and 8:32 then this is like the 50s 8:57 pompadoras he wants figures he wants 9:00 predictability and we just go full 9:02 chaos sometimes it's Chad 9:05 add I will not finish a sentence in two 9:08 and a half hours and then other times 9:10 it's focused good high learning 9:16 fun I mean it's not the AI trimming lab 9:19 right apparently not apparently being 9:22 part of the AI Salon does not get you 9:24 any perks in the qua 9:27 [Laughter] 9:28 Department song maker demo the other day 9:31 was very cool yeah that that's a cool 9:33 one that's sunno I it was where I did 9:35 that um so we can do that we can play 9:39 with tools if you've got questions about 9:41 AI we can do that um I can dig it it 9:44 might be it might be worthwhile to do a 9:47 deep dive into chat Jay I don't know if 9:50 you knew this but you can make money 9:52 with chat 9:53 J um it might be worth doing a deep dive 9:58 tonight 10:00 because if Gemini is indeed coming out 10:02 tomorrow Gemini 10:04 Ultra we pay extra for the 10:07 hair and it's worth every penny do you 10:10 know how many tou pays I have to weave 10:12 together to get this look this is not a 10:14 simple this is not a simple situation 10:17 very complicated this is 10:20 hours with the glue sniffing the glue I 10:22 mean using the glue tape the glue tape 10:27 what I don't know how you put on two 10:28 pasts glue tape I don't know 3 3:00 a.m. 10:33 in London oh Dr bod you're in here too 10:35 much I don't know have you not gone to 10:37 bed yet or or are you an insomniac and 10:39 just woke 10:40 up or or do you set your alarm to for 10:44 the AI learning 10:45 lab we do put out recordings of these so 10:49 you can watch back 10:54 episodes oh man my article on 10:57 exploitation of chat GPT High seminars 11:00 is doing really well on 11:02 LinkedIn oh that's 11:04 interesting I didn't I I I saw that you 11:06 put a an article out today I didn't I 11:08 didn't know notice what it 11:10 was James come you wait you look amazing 11:14 nice 11:18 style yeah I amazing is a 11:22 word 11:25 remarkable uh glue and tape some some 11:28 some are woven into EX in hair exactly 11:30 exactly forever hooked you just you 11:32 don't know what this is you you this is 11:34 not like something you just pick up off 11:37 a pillow 11:40 no all 11:44 right I don't you know 11:48 for for someone I don't really pay 11:50 attention to my looks there's something 11:52 about just watching my face all night 11:54 that there's a lot of talk in here about 11:57 my hair and my eyebrows apparently ly 11:59 look at that look at that it's just it's 12:01 just it's just not good people here so 12:05 here's my serious 12:07 recommendation um don't [ __ ] age do 12:12 don't do it just stop wherever you are 12:14 right now just like I don't know it like 12:18 sell your soul whatever you need to just 12:20 just stop 12:22 it thanks for recommending pie you're 12:24 welcome coach Jeffrey um hopefully that 12:27 helped yeah I'm curious what what are 12:29 you using it for aging not recommended 12:31 you see do you see we're splitting ice 12:34 cubes you're perfect stop oh stop you're 12:37 just perfect you're perfect I'll tell 12:40 you what Kyle I came in here and I 12:42 thought oh he takes my breath away 12:44 you're just perfect oh you're perfect 12:46 anyone play around with mulon AI agents 12:50 I haven't played around with mulon 12:52 agents are they are they an open source 12:54 thing let me go 12:58 look 13:00 I don't think I think they're open 13:01 source mulon AI 13:04 agent I know I've been to the site 13:12 before mulon 13:16 Ai No I haven't a new method for 13:20 streamlining Digital Life we have 13:22 cookies 13:25 okay we create AI that handles tasks in 13:28 the background 13:34 build it with multi 13:39 on there's a lot of words and not a lot 13:43 of information Here 13:49 app available on 13:52 iOS hold please let me go see if it's at 13:56 least interesting enough to see if how 13:58 they're if they're apps 14:01 out M on yeah I saw this like a week 14:05 ago and as I recall I went to it and it 14:08 was like get on the wait list which I 14:11 did 14:14 app oh it must not be out yet all right 14:19 I have not played with it no 14:23 API cookies 14:28 okay 14:36 API right now it's just it's just kind 14:38 of vaporware brochure wear so I I don't 14:42 know it it's going to take me too long 14:44 to figure it out to do live here right 14:46 now are you aware of Google's video 14:52 poet you know it's funny someone came in 14:54 last night and said are you aware of 14:56 Google's whatever the [ __ ] they showed 14:57 me last night and then and I thought I 15:00 was and then I got there and I'm like no 15:01 it's different than I thought it was and 15:03 now you're telling me about video poet 15:05 like I said I do have a feeling that 15:09 um Google Labs I I have a feeling are 15:13 about ready to just dump a bunch of tech 15:17 on the 15:20 world video shot oh yeah I saw this I 15:24 haven't played with it 15:28 yet 15:31 it I mean these look like they're in the 15:33 same neighborhood to me as um Runway and 15:38 Pika and like you know if you get just 15:42 the right prompt and just the right demo 15:44 you're like oh my God it's amazing and 15:46 then you like try to make it like a 15:48 truck go around a corner and it just 15:50 like goes 15:51 burn has anyone played with air 15:54 table. oh AI table. a what's AI table. a 15:59 AI 16:00 table. a look at y'all bringing the 16:04 bringing the 16:05 juice organize any data with AI get 16:08 started it's free free video demo let's 16:11 go look at the free video 16:14 demo 16:15 ai. a hello everyone I'm Gary the 16:20 co-founder and Co of 16:22 ai. hi Welcome to our presentation and 16:24 demo today's topic is revolu Gary Gary 16:28 Gary shouldn't record in a room that's 16:30 that's got got that's 40 ft long you see 16:35 he needs some carpet in that room I'm 16:37 just imagining Gary with like a foldout 16:39 table in a big bare 16:41 room and project management CI and pure 16:45 management are the two most competitive 16:47 and popular use cases planing select the 16:51 then uh we yeah I don't I I I don't so 16:56 here's the deal with with all these kind 16:57 of very very spe specific use case 17:02 um applications I have not dug deep into 17:06 them just because oh I lost my little 17:08 doad um just 17:10 because there's too many to keep up with 17:13 so what I what I do with all of them is 17:17 if you're looking for something like you 17:18 know data 17:20 management and whatever that thing's 17:23 doing uh data analysis and project 17:26 management I'll Gary needs the $5 Tik 17:30 Tok microphone exactly Source Camp he 17:32 really does 17:34 um I'll just point you to futur 17:57 pedia.com 18:04 yeah the Irregulars the Irregulars 18:07 regular [ __ ] cups tonight I like it 18:09 all right let me go 18:11 into um the mod channel 18:14 here hello 18:16 mods good even Good Fellows and good 18:19 ladies good 18:22 lasses all right everybody saying hi to 18:25 everybody very nice very nice very so 18:29 here's the deal if you've got questions 18:31 about AI pop them in the comments below 18:34 or obviously tonight you've got hey 18:36 check out this tool check out that tool 18:38 that kind of stuff's good in there too 18:40 um if you want me to demo something pop 18:41 that in there um the mods in here will 18:44 will um you know pull stuff up to the 18:47 top cuz I get I don't know if you 18:49 noticed that but I get chitter 18:52 chattering you can make money 18:55 with I got [ __ ] chattering but uh we 18:59 can do whatever I I think I think my 19:02 instinct is leaning toward doing some 19:03 chat GPT stuff but I also want to show 19:05 you this video that I made and then how 19:07 how I made it and what I 19:09 did because it's kind of 19:12 fun and then I think what I'm going to 19:14 do is I'm going to post it on I'm going 19:17 to post it on LinkedIn or the Tik Tok 19:19 and maybe you guys can go boost it and 19:21 share it and do [ __ ] like 19:24 that is he really picking his eye while 19:27 he's talking to us 19:31 I I got on a call 19:33 today we're on a call with this one of 19:36 our developers in 19:38 Prague and you know how when you log 19:40 into a meeting early and then you put 19:42 your the meeting tab somewhere else and 19:45 you're working on something else so he's 19:47 working on something else so my my 19:50 co-founder and I both log in and he's 19:52 just going 19:54 like he's like picking his teeth his 19:58 fing are deep in his mouth we're like 20:01 we're talking to him he can't hear us 20:02 we're typing to him he can't see us he 20:04 finally flips over to the tab and he's 20:06 like 20:14 oh oh man all right check out 20:18 Irregulars yeah 20:24 exactly look we'll go to the uh we'll go 20:27 to the AI learn or AI Salon the AI salon 20:32 and go to a regular new 20:34 product that's totally what that dude 20:36 sounded 20:38 like no launch just dust 20:42 up oh Gemini let's let's let me pop over 20:46 to uh to the Twitter for a 20:52 second hello I'm 20:55 Gary good day m 21:01 give peas a chance 21:06 jrc 21:08 um where was I going to go uh 21:14 Twitter that's Leonardo 21:19 x.com let's see what we can find about 21:21 Ye Old 21:24 Gemini there's John 21:27 knack 21:37 [Music] 21:41 [Applause] 21:42 [Music] 21:46 great 21:48 song great song introducing a new 21:52 version of Mixr 8X Sam Alman we believe 21:56 the world needs more AI infrastructure 21:59 Fab capacity energy data centers Etc 22:02 than people are currently planning to 22:05 build oo building massive scale AI 22:09 infrastructure and resilient supply 22:11 chain is crucial to economic 22:14 competitiveness this is what Sam mman 22:17 was talking about when he was in the 22:19 Middle East and he got fired he was over 22:22 there trying to raise a hundred billion 22:23 dollar to open a chip Fab shop I think 22:27 in the United States 22:30 open AI will try to help that says to me 22:32 he's probably making progress on raising 22:34 some of that there sweet sweet 22:36 cash you can make money with J listen I 22:40 got this company called open AI I just 22:42 need a billion do 10 billion a hundred 22:45 billion if you give me a hundred billion 22:47 dollar I'm G to I'll I'll make you a 10x 22:49 return 100 50x return 100x return you 22:52 give me hundred billion dollar you get a 22:54 100x return that's like 22:57 aund 22:58 that's like more than a billion in 23:01 profit yeah do 23:05 that all right so that's what Sam 23:08 alman's up 23:10 to the Tech Community seems to be losing 23:13 their ever living [ __ ] over the Vision 23:16 Pro things let me go to my generative AI 23:21 tab 23:23 [Music] 23:24 uh Microsoft just dropped several 23:27 updates grades to co-pilot this is 11 23:30 minutes ago ah this is what Danielle saw 23:33 the other night including the ability to 23:35 edit Dolly 3 generated 23:38 images here's everything you need to 23:44 know so so Microsoft so it makes sense 23:47 they're doing their first Super Bowl 23:49 commercial have you seen 23:52 this good 23:57 morning 23:58 [Music] 24:06 [Applause] 24:09 [Music] 24:20 watch me 24:22 just just watching 24:26 now I got St 24:28 a little more for you you walk your eyes 24:32 just watch me now I got for a little 24:37 open your eyes just watch me 24:42 now just watch me 24:46 now yeah that's pretty much what this 24:48 Channel's all about isn't it right you 24:50 know just when you thought you couldn't 24:52 you didn't have the life skill to do 24:54 something here it is yeah all these 24:57 strike me as people who love to use 24:59 Microsoft products it's so true P it's a 25:02 very Microsoft kind of you know it's a 25:05 very Microsoft kind of casting casting 25:07 situation there Kyle my app has been 25:10 doing that already I know it has you you 25:13 said that like a week ago mine hasn't 25:16 let me 25:18 see let me see if it's so look I've got 25:21 oh wait have you played with co-pilot 25:23 and office thoughts if so I've not 25:25 played with co-pilot and office I hear 25:27 um 25:29 the co-pilot in word is decent the 25:31 co-pilot in Excel is 25:33 disappointing um I have played with GPT 25:38 for Sheets which is quite impressive um 25:40 I don't do a ton in Excel though so I I 25:42 don't know U that's just what I heard 25:44 but I have not played with them um 25:47 co-pilot in 25:48 general I'm a little cool 25:55 on let's 25:57 see turn on GPT 26:03 4 why is this not working oh the [ __ ] 26:07 sorry we ran into some issues 26:16 really oh probably because I have a 26:25 feeling I have a feeling they updated 26:27 the apps since I used it 26:29 last hold 26:32 please yeah let's see Microsoft upgrade 26:35 if it's 26:37 real all right so it looks 26:40 like let me let me let me let's try it 26:43 on the 26:46 web there's too much happening people 26:49 they got a Super Bowl commercial up and 26:51 they just redid their thing and now 26:53 there's things to 26:55 do all it's a lot it's a lot shut up all 27:01 right let me go try let me go over here 27:04 let's go to 27:05 co-pilot micros oops that's coin market 27:08 cap let's see what's going on with 27:10 crypto Bitcoin 44 27:13 67577 all 27:16 right where am I going 27:18 copilot is he always like this he seems 27:21 a little 27:24 frenetic they told me he was funny this 27:26 doesn't seem very funny just seems kind 27:28 of sad at this 27:30 point is this what his this is is this 27:33 you just watch him trying to use the 27:35 Internet is that how this 27:38 works okay so there's co-pilot there's 27:42 notebook what's on your 27:48 mind write a detailed prompt to 27:50 collaborate with 27:52 AI okay well this is interesting so I'm 27:56 at okay so where oh this is very 28:02 interesting okay Kyle could you share 28:06 the video I sent you on Discord if you 28:09 want that might be it oh okay cool oh 28:12 yeah okay 28:13 cool okay so it looks like this could be 28:16 it so couple of interesting to things to 28:18 note here 28:24 um I can upload that's a new topic 28:29 I can upload an image I can use the 28:30 microphone this has got an 28:33 18,000 28:36 word 28:38 um context window prompt window this is 28:41 normally 2,000 and it's up to 18,000 so 28:44 they up this to like a whatever that is 28:46 20 probably a 25,000 token context 28:50 window so 18,000 words so let's do our 28:52 classic 28:54 um I want to learn 28:58 about 29:00 quantum 29:05 mechanics searching quantum 29:14 mechanics learn more at wikipedia.com 29:19 they've 29:22 got uh citations to that Wikipedia 29:26 article 29:34 oh this is in 29:38 interesting 29:42 39 huh it's still 29:45 going 29:47 slow okay you get you get 30 salvos back 29:50 and forth oh it just added it added 29:54 images probably from 29:56 Wikipedia 29:59 and then it added look some ads oh look 30:03 they're getting back their ad Revenue 30:04 most impressive thing was making an 30:06 image yeah I'm going to get to 30:08 that 30:11 um this notebook things really 30:16 interesting I don't quite get it so so I 30:19 said I want to learn about quantum 30:20 mechanics 30:21 um show 30:25 me um 30:28 wave 30:31 particle 30:35 duality in an in 30:39 a 30:41 cartoon with 30:44 dogs and 30:51 cats so it got rid of all the other 30:56 content 31:00 I don't understand what notebook is at 31:10 all I feel like you can't get a lot with 31:12 30 back and forth yeah I 31:14 agree all those underlying resources 31:17 have the links good to know but for how 31:20 long how soon we be charged for it I 31:23 don't think you'll be charged for this 31:24 the co- pilot. microsoft.com this is a 31:27 lot leader for them to get you to pay 30 31:29 bucks a month to put it inside inside 31:35 uh inside Office 365 so I we'll have 31:39 this this this will be free for a 31:41 while all right so so this is this is 31:44 wonkier than [ __ ] all right let's go to 31:46 co-pilot 31:47 normal so we've got so this is what was 31:49 in that Super Bowl commercial so this 31:51 does look like the the most recent 31:53 version so let's do let's do the classic 31:55 we'll do the classic Kyle Shannon 32:01 special photograph of a 1970s muscle car 32:06 in an abandoned Factory with sunlight 32:08 streaming through the broken windows 32:10 lighting up the 32:12 dust like gold floating in the 32:16 air and this is still a 32:20 2,000 token 32:26 limit 32:30 it seems to be writing us a 32:33 poem in the Forgotten heart of an 32:35 abandoned Factory where time had etched 32:37 its Melancholy tail in 1970s muzzle car 32:41 stood defiantly it's once vibrant paint 32:45 oh this is annoying you can't scroll 32:50 down stop 32:53 responding make the 32:56 image 33:05 ah it said it doesn't have the capacity 33:08 to make images which is just not 33:11 true make and a 33:17 photo this is pissing me 33:21 off this is pissing me off 33:26 people 33:32 [Music] 33:35 so we're going to make a new thing make 33:37 a photo mail a photo make a 33:46 photo I'll try to create that now it's 33:49 trying to create it all right oh this is 33:52 good at least they got rid of that 33:53 stupid [ __ ] Ms paint looking thing 33:58 before before we was trying to make an 34:00 image it would pop up this image of like 34:03 a stupid 34:06 paintbrush okay that's pretty 34:10 slick oh here we go okay Danielle so 34:13 this 34:14 is this is completely 34:17 new so I can change this into pixel 34:21 art so theyve pulled some of these ideas 34:23 they pulled out a firefly so Firefly's 34:26 got this ability where you 34:28 create where you create 34:31 um you create an image and then it's got 34:34 all these different buttons that you 34:35 push for different 34:39 styles have you ever used LM 34:43 studio and run it locally uh I've done a 34:46 couple of those Sydney do you miss me 34:50 now Microsoft drives me nuts I know mic 34:54 that's not [ __ ] pixel 34:56 art 34:58 that's not even 35:00 close oh but look at 35:06 this colourpop blur 35:12 background so they're doing object 35:16 recognition they it just blurred the 35:18 background that's pretty slick let me do 35:21 colourpop on this 35:23 thing 35:26 colorpop ah 35:30 interesting all right how do I get back 35:32 to my images can you add some graffiti 35:34 on the walls oh that's cool so it's 35:36 adding suggestions certainly let's 35:39 enhance the scene now it's doing that 35:41 thing it did before where it's writing 35:44 it's writing us some pros with 35:46 highlighted 35:52 words you're you're supposed to be in 35:59 enhancing uh enhancing the image you 36:03 made you watch this I'm going to put you 36:06 dum dum you dum dum and it's probably 36:09 GNA it's probably going to cancel the 36:11 the conversation Sydney is so over 36:14 sensitive she gets very triggered if you 36:16 call her dumb I apologize for the 36:19 oversight let's enhance the image you 36:21 requested and and now at least she 36:24 didn't shut down the conver conversation 36:26 you you can try with 36:29 text 36:34 um that's 36:37 bizarre the car a relic of bygone days 36:40 seem to seems to absorb stories etched 36:43 into the walls it's a snapshot of time a 36:45 fusion of grit art and 36:48 Nostalgia the [ __ ] is going on here all 36:51 right let's let's start over good Lord 36:54 people all right make 36:58 a 37:00 photograph we'll keep playing we'll keep 37:03 trying scroll back up to the images Kyle 37:06 okay oh wait I went to a new thing 37:10 already oh do you think it does it do 37:13 you think after it does all that all 37:15 that splaining it fixes it up 37:18 above that's a violation I don't know 37:21 what's a violation did I call it a dum 37:26 dum going to 37:28 do can 37:29 it let's 37:31 see well they're adding cool animations 37:34 to it it at least it at least 37:40 looks it looks a 37:42 little well it looks more functional 37:45 it's 37:46 interesting and and the fact that 37:48 they're they're doing object recognition 37:50 like right now I can I can isolate can I 37:52 shift select 37:53 these yes okay that's good 37:57 so I'm going to say colorpop the 38:01 wheels oh and that just that just color 38:04 pops the wheels and nothing else 38:10 undo how do I get back 38:13 to 38:16 copying edit in 38:21 designer so that's interesting so 38:23 they're now driving you over to 38:26 designer 38:27 which is like their version of canva 38:29 which last time I played with it it was 38:31 like a shitty version of 38:35 canva so it popped me over here but it 38:38 did not bring my image over oh Microsoft 38:42 really 38:45 really edit in 38:52 designer all right I guess you just oh 38:54 it's just like teams I have to launch 38:57 teams twice 39:04 too all right so this is just like photo 39:07 photo 39:10 stuff this is just like cheap Photoshop 39:13 all 39:14 right remove 39:18 background yeah crappy but all 39:21 right 39:23 okay Microsoft software so good you have 39:27 to launch it 39:30 twice which one to try the clamation one 39:33 let's make this thing clamation see how 39:35 that 39:43 does so okay here's the good 39:48 news the good news from where I sit for 39:51 what we're looking at here is they're at 39:54 least trying some new [ __ ] right they're 39:56 trying to make co-pilot better they're 39:59 taking it seriously cuz it's been kind 40:01 of languishing just sitting there once 40:03 they lobotomize 40:04 Sydney co-pilot or Bing [ __ ] got got 40:07 pretty 40:14 crappy God their branding is all over 40:16 the [ __ ] place look at this they've 40:18 got the design you know it's Microsoft 40:21 it's 40:22 co-pilot they got the designer logo down 40:24 here like the designer product manager 40:26 is like well if we're going to if we're 40:28 going to have an export designer uh we 40:31 should probably have the designer 40:32 branding uh somewhere on the page uh 40:35 because uh we want to reinforce the uh 40:37 the brand Integrity of the designer uh 40:41 branding okay Bob let's put that in the 40:44 lower 40:46 corner let's let's see if Bing chat's 40:48 still around I got to go to chat. 40:51 bing.com let's see if they if they said 40:54 Bing is now let's see chat 40:59 dobing The Branding right now in all 41:01 these companies is just a [ __ ] train 41:03 wreck chat. bing.com even open 41:09 AI all right it's at least called 41:13 co-pilot yeah and it looks like it's the 41:16 same thing so let so let me pop in my SC 41:19 make 41:23 me oh a photo 41:27 graph of a 41:31 70s muscle car in an a 41:34 [Music] 41:39 Bandon 41:41 Factory 41:46 whatever 41:50 co-pilot uh oh what did I do oh I just 41:52 went down to Bing 41:54 chat is it going 42:06 let's start over 42:08 [Music] 42:13 sure I'll try to create that all right 42:17 so they have the new interface this is 42:19 good this is at least promising so this 42:21 is 42:23 bing.com you go over to 42:25 co-pilot 42:27 all right uh let's see make the 42:33 car um neon 42:38 green certainly here's an artistic 42:40 representation of a neon green 42:51 car image/png 42:55 semicolon base 6 4 i v b o r V3 V3 V3 V3 43:00 V3 V3 V3 V3 43:03 V3 my God uh try again try 43:11 again I hope someone from Microsoft is 43:16 watching okay so this is important 43:19 people this is really 43:21 important okay so we got we got some we 43:25 got some things to do here okay before 43:27 we before I talk about what's important 43:28 about this I'm going to show you some 43:31 things I want you to go if if if you're 43:34 if you're not new here you know what to 43:36 do if you're new here I want you to go 43:39 check out the AI salon so go to the 43:43 salon. and Kevin Vasquez Windows 12 is 43:47 going to be 43:49 amazing go to the salon. click on the 43:52 first link it'll say the AI Salon 43:54 Community go there and that's going to 43:57 take you to the AI Salon Community which 44:01 you probably won't know anything about 44:04 but um I want you to first go to welcome 44:08 to the salon and read about the salon 44:10 read about our values make sure you're 44:13 cool with them and if you are I want you 44:15 to join and then if you're an irregular 44:17 so the Irregulars are people who come 44:19 here over and over against their better 44:21 judgment and everyone else is better 44:23 judgment in their life they just keep 44:25 coming back so you can do that too but 44:28 here's what here's what I want you to do 44:30 in the Irregulars channel so if you 44:32 scroll to the bottom there's a a thing 44:33 called clubs we have our own club the AI 44:35 learning lab Irregulars so so what I 44:39 want you to do is post in the Irregulars 44:42 channel here here's the thing about 44:44 where were we let's see were we at 44:47 co-pilot oh yeah it's still going good 44:49 um so so co-pilot is still writing code 44:52 for an image it's writing what is it 44:55 base 64 code for an image 44:59 um every tool in generative AI right now 45:03 every tool whether it's Microsoft or 45:06 open AI or Google or anyone are janky 45:09 pieces of [ __ ] so I want you to do your 45:12 best interpret interpretation of janky 45:15 pieces of [ __ ] and share it in the AI 45:17 learning Lab at regulars Channel let's 45:20 get let's get some good artwork there 45:22 inspired by co-pilot sort of working 45:26 kind of some of the time with sometimes 45:29 slick graphics and 45:32 occasionally confusing branding 45:35 and technology that works is kind 45:42 of oh my 45:45 God they're running a Super Bowl 45:47 commercial to drive millions of people 45:50 billions of people to go play with 45:55 this 46:01 oh my 46:05 God you want to hear something funny 46:09 yeah Kyle that's why we're 46:10 [Laughter] 46:12 here we 46:14 um in the early days of agency.com you 46:19 could get any URL you wanted nobody knew 46:22 what they were so you could just like we 46:23 got agency.com we had we had a 46:26 brainstorming meeting some night we're 46:27 like hey let's let's call this agency 46:29 we're starting the agency it'll be like 46:32 it'll be like one of those government 46:33 agencies we'll come in the back door in 46:35 dark coats and hats and sunglasses and 46:37 make 46:38 websites and so that I went home that 46:40 night and I went to inter Nick is what 46:43 they called it back 46:44 then and I looked up agency.com and it 46:47 was available so you could just get any 46:51 domains so we got this domain called 46:53 keep out.com cuz one of one of the 46:55 running jokes jokes we had is if you 46:58 want someone to to take action you put a 47:01 big red button on screen and you put a 47:04 label under it that says do not press 47:06 right you can make money everyone will 47:09 press the button and so so we we bought 47:12 the URL keep out.com because we thought 47:15 if if you do keep out.com people will 47:18 come there cuz you know they're just 47:20 people are pain in the 47:22 ass so I we I forget what site we put 47:27 up oh was 47:29 it no it wasn't the zema we did 47:32 something for zema we did the zema 47:34 fridge or something like that it wasn't 47:35 that we put up some sort of site for 47:37 keep 47:39 out.com and like all of a sudden one day 47:42 our Tech guy comes out and and says 47:45 what's going on with keep out.com we're 47:47 like what are you talking about and he 47:48 goes there's all this traffic like the 47:51 server just crashed three times like I 47:53 keep having to reboot the server cuz it 47:55 keeps getting overloaded we're like what 47:57 are you talking 48:00 about and then we started getting 48:03 emails asking questions about some 48:05 product we didn't know what the [ __ ] 48:07 people were talking about what had 48:09 happened was some Ad Agency took out a 48:13 full page ad in like Fortune magazine or 48:16 like some big magazine and it was a 48:19 two-page ad and the only thing on the ad 48:22 was the URL keep 48:24 out.com and so someone told us about it 48:27 and they're like go get this issue of 48:28 this magazine so we ran down to the 48:31 newsst we bought this issue of the 48:32 magazine and said keep 48:34 out.com what the agency hadn't realized 48:38 is that their keep out.com had a dash in 48:41 it and in the magazine ad that they did 48:45 the typography was like really tall 48:47 skinny typography and the dash was 48:49 really little and it was in the fold it 48:51 was in the seam of the magazine so when 48:54 you opened it up you couldn't see the 48:55 dash in at all it just said keep out.com 48:58 so we got all of their traffic for their 49:00 stupid [ __ ] two-page ad to whatever 49:04 our Dicky little site 49:07 was that's what's going to happen with 49:09 co-pilot tomorrow is this thing still 49:12 typing no it gave 49:16 up oh Bing you're so 49:20 cute oh Sydney Sydney Sydney Sydney what 49:25 are we going to do with you all right 49:27 let's go back to co-pilot that's really 49:29 funny but it's that's promising and and 49:32 listen by the time the Super Bowl rolls 49:34 around maybe they'll have some of this 49:36 [ __ ] worked out I don't think so but 49:38 maybe a man can 49:44 dream did they add any more plugins 49:46 let's go look at the plugins plugins now 49:49 available instacart kayak Clara Open 49:53 Table shop andso no new plugins 49:56 can you turn 49:58 on I'm going turn off search I'm G yeah 50:01 you can't turn on the plugins without 50:03 search 50:04 on weird that's a halfast that's a 50:08 half-ass feature I they they shouldn't 50:10 have they shouldn't have plugins there 50:13 that's [ __ ] 50:15 weird all 50:19 right wow all right is anybody making is 50:22 anybody making janky pieces of [ __ ] 50:25 images in irre 50:26 come on 50:28 people keep out there you go keep out 50:30 the big red 50:34 button 50:36 janky oh man tech 50:41 support oh that's 50:44 nice stick with get it get 50:49 it all right new 50:54 activity 50:58 yeah that's well that's what 1995 felt 51:01 like Post-it notes and dangling ethernet 51:07 wires and that's kind of that's the 51:09 perfect metaphor for what's happening 51:11 right now with AI all these all these 51:13 tools are 51:14 just just 51:18 horrific all right all right people let 51:21 me flip over here let me go 51:24 there 51:28 hey what you know I came here I wanted 51:31 to learn the AI does he does he ever 51:33 teach the AI I like I want to learn the 51:36 the I heard the chat 51:38 GTP you you got the chat 51:41 GTP does he do the chat jtp here does he 51:44 teach that does he got a 51:46 workshop does does he got a workshop 51:49 someone told me I could make money with 51:51 the chat 51:52 GTP what do what do you do with it what 51:55 do you do with with it you what do you 51:58 you 51:59 what you put the words in it what and 52:04 what do you and what is it what do you 52:06 what do you do with 52:08 it any anything you 52:12 want I I don't get 52:15 it inin um so have you picked up your 52:20 Lucid audio eyewear yet no no I haven't 52:23 I saw that I haven't gone and looked at 52:25 it I'm listen just because I bought the 52:27 rabbit R1 does not mean I'm a [ __ ] for 52:29 every new piece of tech piece of [ __ ] 52:31 out there that's the first that's the 52:34 first um Tech Gadget slutting I did 52:37 since the Google Glass which was a 52:40 $1,500 52:42 mistake and I knew that I knew the 52:45 Google Glass was a $1,500 mistake within 52:48 within an hour I was like ah 52:54 [ __ ] 52:58 oh 53:00 man we're 53:02 being way lazy on tapping cuno what's 53:06 what's going on we only have 3,000 likes 53:08 in 53:09 here I just showed you the new co-pilot 53:12 and I showed you how awesome the 53:14 technology is and that it never makes 53:17 mistakes and I've only got 3,000 53:21 likes good Lord people I'll talk about 53:25 being for 53:26 granted oh he'll show up he'll show up 53:29 and just teach us 53:32 everything good Lord the the the depth 53:36 of the 53:37 disappointment look at my 53:40 hair I me I mean I wouldn't don't don't 53:43 look up don't look at 53:47 that how do you do likes you double tap 53:49 the screen you don't have to do 53:53 likes I've been laughing out loud so 53:56 much tonight that's 53:58 good the the thing about this is 54:01 sometimes sometimes I know I'm funny and 54:03 then there's times like tonight where 54:06 I'm making myself laugh but I don't have 54:09 any [ __ ] clue if it's making anyone 54:12 else laugh so I'm glad at least one 54:14 person in here refresh AI learning lab 54:18 regulars oh 54:22 man it's 54:24 crappy hey hey crappy hey crappy you did 54:27 it 54:29 yay oh no Mr 54:34 Poop thank you Robert Rossy that's very 54:37 generous of you thank you so much I 54:39 appreciate 54:41 it 233 lightning bolts I got to live up 54:45 to that now good Lord 54:48 people double Taps kind of like 54:50 Microsoft double clicks exactly you 54:53 mentioned a video you wanted to show us 54:54 okay I'll show you that 54:56 Kyle janky ass muscle 55:00 car Sydney losing it again exactly 55:04 that's totally what she looks like right 55:06 now she's like don't add new features 55:09 until we got this thing stabilized 55:10 they're like [ __ ] it we're going to 55:11 launch 55:12 it hey quick question could we add the 55:15 designer logo somewhere on the page 55:17 there just cuz uh you know because it's 55:19 just for for Branding consistency what 55:22 I'd like to do is really confuse the 55:23 [ __ ] out of people that don't know the 55:25 difference between Microsoft being 55:27 co-pilot designer Dolly 3 chat GPT 4 and 55:31 open AI if we could just sort of Mash 55:33 all those together in a single interface 55:36 that'd be 55:42 awesome you know what I should do I I 55:44 need to get a job just being the 55:47 smartass speaker of Truth at Big 55:50 corporations I'm like the I'll be like 55:52 the uh like the jester the Royal Court 55:54 Jester I'll walk into the boardroom and 55:57 go have you guys seen what you're 55:59 [ __ ] putting out in the world has 56:01 anyone looked at 56:09 this we did that with 56:11 cocacola this is 56:15 good we 56:17 did we did um when we were pitching ah 56:22 life tough stuff going 56:24 stupid we were pitching cocacola back in 56:29 '96 56:31 and and they put out a RFP for agency of 56:36 record to build coke.com and 56:38 cocacola.com so we went and looked at 56:40 the site and it was clear that the IT 56:43 department had built some websites the 56:45 IT department taught themselves some 56:48 HTML it was like the the coke.com site 56:52 was like light yellow with black text 56:54 and annual reports and then the the 56:57 cocacola.com site was like white with 56:59 black letters and blue hyperlinks and 57:02 annual reports it was really bad both 57:04 were really bad like really bad like 57:07 embarrassing and so we put together we 57:09 get our best designers on it cuz it's 57:11 [ __ ] Coke right so we're we come up 57:14 with this really slick design and all 57:17 this stuff but we had to set up like why 57:19 would you hire agency.com and so we go 57:23 down and there's like six or seven of 57:26 us and there's like 17 Coke Executives 57:30 like this is a big [ __ ] deal right so 57:33 so we're going through our slides here's 57:36 who we are here's what we do we're the 57:38 best look at us shine we're [ __ ] 57:40 awesome we've got everything on Coke 57:42 theme slides it was really nice and then 57:45 we we get to the we get to the setup and 57:48 and we 57:50 say uh we we took screenshots of their 57:54 website of both websites so we had a a 57:57 slide that had coke.com screenshot and 58:01 cocacola.com 58:02 screenshot and the headline above it 58:04 said where are the polar bears and it 58:06 was just these two shitty HTML 58:10 pages and they [ __ ] stopped the 58:13 meeting they were like uh 58:17 uh uh and they were whispering to each 58:19 other and like there's this panic and 58:22 we're 58:24 like and they were like we'll be back 58:27 and they all [ __ ] left they all like 58:29 like went out of the 58:32 room and and then we're like oh [ __ ] 58:35 what did we do [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] what 58:38 do we do what do we do we're just like 58:40 just chill just [ __ ] just chill we'll 58:42 figure it 58:43 out and they they came back like 10 or 58:46 15 minutes later and they said when can 58:48 you start they had never looked at their 58:52 website I feel I feel like I could I can 58:55 play that role 58:59 again oh my 59:04 God this is the fun 59:07 time this is the fun 59:10 time make no 59:12 mistake this is the fun time because 59:16 nobody knows how to do this [ __ ] every 59:20 company is 59:22 behind 59:24 and probably more than half of them are 59:27 like AI is evil we're never going to use 59:29 AI or they just don't they're just 59:31 completely unaware of it their employees 59:34 are aware of it right the secret cyborgs 59:36 are out there getting secretly AI 59:39 literate 59:42 truth the truth need right 59:45 now smartass speaker of Truth to 59:47 corporations bu co-pilot except I 59:50 couldn't say smartass so so just smart 59:53 speaker yeah oh I get it it's a smart 1:00:00 speaker that's pretty 1:00:02 [Laughter] 1:00:06 funny this is 1:00:09 co-pilot this is this is Windows this is 1:00:12 Windows 11 this is Windows 11 with 1:00:15 co-pilot any 1:00:20 questions all right let me go show you 1:00:23 something here so 1:00:26 I'm going to go 1:00:28 to My Story 1:00:30 vine My Story vine site so this is this 1:00:33 is the back end for 1:00:35 storyvine so I created this video this 1:00:38 here 1:00:44 VI this is big thanks to the James web 1:00:48 Space Telescope astronomers have found a 1:00:50 black hole that's actually a portal to a 1:00:52 parallel universe time to meet my virt 1:00:54 virtual 1:00:55 twin and scene nothing about that video 1:01:00 was real the message was fake and the 1:01:02 video was Faker it was a deep fake did 1:01:05 you know that the word of the Year from 1:01:06 the Miriam Webster dictionary for 2023 1:01:09 was 1:01:10 authenticity authenticity is critical 1:01:13 this year more than ever and that's what 1:01:15 story Vine's been doing for more than a 1:01:17 decade so if your message is important 1:01:19 to you and you want it to be authentic 1:01:21 we should talk give me a 1:01:23 ring fancy right right and look I want 1:01:27 to show you something like it's so 1:01:30 authentic I've got like garbage behind 1:01:33 me there's an empty there's two Blandon 1:01:36 bottles the old empty one and the new 1:01:38 one from the Irregulars just I don't 1:01:41 even know what that is some some piece 1:01:43 of trash technology my guitar the the uh 1:01:47 this is the metaphor for chat GPT the 1:01:49 little boxes 1:01:52 there but anyway so what I did so so 1:01:55 Story vine you know automatically puts 1:01:57 together these videos and so I replaced 1:02:00 the first segment that I recorded with 1:02:02 the Deep fake James web Space Telescope 1:02:04 astronomers have found a black hole 1:02:06 that's actually a portal to a parallel 1:02:08 universe time to meet my virtual 1:02:11 twin and see so so I think I think it's 1:02:16 an interesting message I don't know if 1:02:18 it's if it's worth sharing with the 1:02:19 world but it it it at least if you if 1:02:22 you haven't seen the video deep face 1:02:25 stuff love the Portlandia soundtrack 1:02:27 thank you very 1:02:30 much we we try to get our our comedy in 1:02:33 where we can it's you know it's subtle 1:02:36 but you know again you got to make 1:02:39 yourself laugh so so what I 1:02:43 did was first thing I did was went to 1:02:47 the old chat JP 1:02:53 t 1:02:59 is this it 1:03:01 no new chat yesterday new chat today 1:03:04 here we 1:03:06 go so I went to chat GPT and I I said I 1:03:09 want to create a short Punchy commercial 1:03:11 that starts out with some ridiculous 1:03:14 news did you know that this weekend 1:03:16 Southern California got 622 inches of 1:03:19 rain and then I say and I told it the 1:03:22 little script about that was a lie in 1:03:24 fact it wasn't even a video of me 1:03:25 authenticity is more important than ever 1:03:27 and then I had it help me come up with 1:03:31 stupid news stories that I could put in 1:03:33 that 1:03:35 video and then I had it help me try to 1:03:37 rewrite the the little call to action um 1:03:40 and that it did it kind of shitty I 1:03:42 didn't I didn't really put a lot of time 1:03:44 into it I was just trying to do 1:03:45 something quick but but you know got at 1:03:48 least got my thoughts together about 1:03:52 different things I could put in the 1:03:53 video so so then what I did was I went 1:03:57 over which which one did I use I 1:04:02 used was a space one right space 1:04:06 astronomers found the black 1:04:08 hole that's actually a portal to another 1:04:11 Universe pack your bags but I put in the 1:04:14 thing about digital twin cuz that was 1:04:15 better but I'll just copy this so I 1:04:17 found something I liked okay and then I 1:04:20 went over to hey 1:04:22 Jen and so if I go to 1:04:25 home so at hey Jen I've got this thing 1:04:29 called an instant Avatar and how you 1:04:31 make an instant 1:04:33 Avatar is you upload at least a three 1:04:37 minute video and then it will make 1:04:42 a video Avatar of you so here's here's 1:04:46 one that I did hey Kyle Shannon your 1:04:48 instant Avatar is ready feel free to 1:04:50 create videos with it also click the 1:04:52 feedback button to share what you think 1:04:54 hope you enjoy I don't know why I sound 1:04:57 like I'm I'm so pppy there I'm talking 1:04:59 with a hot 1:05:01 voice I actually thought it would be fun 1:05:03 because I do all these stupid [ __ ] 1:05:04 voices I should do a um an avatar for 1:05:09 each of the stupid voices that I do and 1:05:11 then I can have them all talk to each 1:05:12 other I could do costume changes and 1:05:14 everything so here's the here's the one 1:05:16 I did where I actually took it seriously 1:05:18 and recorded something to make an 1:05:21 avatar hey Kyle Shannon your instant 1:05:24 Avatar is ready feel free to create 1:05:25 videos with it also click the feedback 1:05:28 button to share what you think hope you 1:05:29 enjoy and here's a fine tune button 1:05:32 what's that 1:05:34 do higher video resolution and Quality 1:05:37 Private AI model for better lip sync 1:05:39 ready in 8 1:05:40 hours oh that's interesting so you pay 1:05:43 them 64 bucks a month if you pay for 1:05:49 Year huh 1:05:52 interesting and you can do yourself in 1:05:54 some 25 languages interesting all right 1:05:58 so anyway so I chose 1:06:00 that and then let's see I'm going to 1:06:04 make a landscape 1:06:07 video so I jump in so so now I'm in 1:06:10 generate a video so so what I can do now 1:06:12 is I I I could either I could upload an 1:06:15 audio script and then it'll just sync 1:06:18 the lips to it and do the hand motions 1:06:21 or I can type in a script and so I'll 1:06:23 type in this script 1:06:25 that I have from over 1:06:29 there and then if I hit play script 1:06:32 first it'll just do the audio first can 1:06:34 you get the voice to have a motion not 1:06:36 right now Lori there's so one of the 1:06:39 things in 11 Labs that that hasn't 1:06:42 really been um developed all that much 1:06:45 is 1:06:47 emotions um what we're going to be able 1:06:50 to do in the fut astronomer found a 1:06:52 black hole that's actually a portal to 1:06:53 another univers ierse pack your bags so 1:06:57 I just do the audio first and sometimes 1:07:00 it says words weird you can also do 1:07:02 things like I can put like a half second 1:07:05 pause in front of pack your bags so I 1:07:07 click on this little clock thing here 1:07:09 and it puts a little clock emoji in and 1:07:12 then it'll put a pause there so um the 1:07:15 emotion's not there now but I've seen 1:07:19 I've seen the the API code for it where 1:07:22 basically you put in Brackets found a 1:07:23 black hole that's actually a portal to 1:07:25 another 1:07:26 Universe pack your bags pack your bags 1:07:30 pack your bags where you can actually 1:07:32 put in Brackets like sad happy angry 1:07:35 whisper things like that um and and what 1:07:40 what will be able to do is go into 1:07:42 something like chat GPT and and you know 1:07:44 have it generate a speech for the Avatar 1:07:46 to say and then have chat GPT go through 1:07:49 and tag it with appropriate emotions you 1:07:52 know within the within the language 1:07:55 um it's just not there yet but but again 1:07:57 I think I think within 2024 we'll be 1:08:01 able to put emotion in here and I'm 1:08:03 guessing that by the end of 2024 these 1:08:06 things get um these things get better 1:08:09 like right now they're just [ __ ] 1:08:10 weird right but they're not going to be 1:08:12 weird for long this is like the the 1:08:15 videos right now like even these AI 1:08:18 avatars are and oh the other thing 1:08:20 that's interesting about hey Jen um if I 1:08:23 have a three video of you I can't make 1:08:26 an avatar of you so they're they're 1:08:28 trying a little bit to not have deep 1:08:32 fakes spread all over the place so when 1:08:34 I made my avatar I actually had to 1:08:37 record me saying yes this is me and I'm 1:08:41 and I'm not doing a deep fake of someone 1:08:43 else and then they actually compared 1:08:45 those two videos to make sure it was 1:08:47 actually me so that was kind of 1:08:49 interesting so um so now if I say submit 1:08:55 it's going to cost me half a credit I 1:08:57 have 28 credits left so I'm burning a 1:08:59 credit for you folks just to show you 1:09:02 how it goes 7% ready so it doesn't take 1:09:05 that long it's this is a short little 1:09:08 script what's the difference between gp4 1:09:11 and gp4 turbo so G well so there's 1:09:16 there's there's three or four different 1:09:18 models of the 1:09:20 GPT underlying foundational model 1:09:25 um gp4 turbo is one of those if you're 1:09:29 if you're asking is there a chat GPT and 1:09:33 a chat GPT 1:09:35 turbo not really what what there is is 1:09:38 this so chat 1:09:39 GPT or gp4 Turbo is the underlying model 1:09:44 that's got a 1:09:46 32,000 uh token context window and it's 1:09:51 faster and if you pay for 1:09:55 chat GPT team their new product that's 1:09:58 30 bucks a month instead of 20 bucks a 1:10:01 month it's it's a chat GPT that uses GPT 1:10:05 for Turbo it's the identical same app as 1:10:09 chat GPT it's just using a different 1:10:11 underlying model it's confusing as [ __ ] 1:10:14 remember I said before everyone's got a 1:10:15 branding problem right now so so open 1:10:19 ai's got the underlying models called 1:10:23 gp4 D 1:10:25 0613 1:10:27 0314 Das whatever you know V1 dturbo 1:10:32 preview or whatever the [ __ ] it's called 1:10:35 so there's all these different versions 1:10:36 of the underlying model that are all 1:10:39 called gpts then you've got chat GPT 1:10:42 which is the application that sits on 1:10:43 top of that stuff and you know actually 1:10:46 does the API calls down into it then 1:10:48 you've got gpts which are customized 1:10:51 versions of chat 1:10:52 GPT and like it's it's just [ __ ] 1:10:55 ridiculous and then and then you've got 1:10:58 co-pilot which occasionally says powered 1:11:00 by G by open AI chat GPT or GPT 4 or 1:11:05 whatever like it's just it's it's 1:11:07 absolute [ __ ] chaos so anyway so 1:11:09 let's watch our video so here's me 1:11:11 here's me not 1:11:16 me astronomers found a black hole that's 1:11:18 actually a portal to another 1:11:20 Universe pack your bags pack your bags 1:11:24 pack your 1:11:25 bags actually you know what I need to 1:11:27 get good at I need to get good at acting 1:11:29 like this astronomers found a black hole 1:11:32 that's actually a portal to another 1:11:34 astronomers found a black hole that's 1:11:36 actually a portal to another 1:11:38 Universe pack your 1:11:41 bags 1:11:42 Universe pack your 1:11:44 bags pack your 1:11:49 bags astronomers found a black hole 1:11:52 that's actually a portal to another 1:11:53 universe 1:11:55 astronomers found wait astronomers found 1:11:57 black hole that's actually a portal to 1:11:59 another Universe I sound like a 1:12:02 Kennedy astronomers found a black hole 1:12:05 astronomers found a black 1:12:09 hole all right so anyway so then what I 1:12:12 did was I went into my system into Story 1:12:18 vine and the way you've got this set up 1:12:20 is I can upload different you know these 1:12:23 are the different segments so I can 1:12:25 upload different segments so I 1:12:29 recorded the intro take or yeah I 1:12:32 recorded the intro take so the previous 1:12:35 video was 1:12:47 this hey it's Kyle Shannon this is where 1:12:50 the fake video 1:12:51 goes and SC right nothing about so then 1:12:56 I took the I I made a new version of the 1:12:58 video so I took the picture and the you 1:13:01 know the good scene out and then I 1:13:04 uploaded 1:13:06 the this thing this is big thanks to the 1:13:11 James web Space Telescope astronomers 1:13:13 have found a black hole that's actually 1:13:15 a portal to a parallel 1:13:17 universe and then that turns into 1:13:22 this 1:13:25 this is big thanks to the James web 1:13:28 Space Telescope astronomers have found a 1:13:30 black hole that's actually a portal to a 1:13:32 parallel universe time to meet my 1:13:34 virtual twin time to meet my virtual 1:13:38 twin nothing about that video was real 1:13:41 the message was fake and the video was 1:13:43 all right so that's my stupid that's my 1:13:45 stupid ad for story mine what do you 1:13:47 think should I put that out in the world 1:13:48 or is it just is it best left here as an 1:13:51 experiment as a failed sad 1:13:58 experiment it's a 1:14:00 trap all 1:14:02 right let me go 1:14:13 here that's what you got when you typed 1:14:15 in janky and Dolly that's well it's 1:14:20 janky it's like South Park 1:14:22 janky 1:14:24 [Laughter] 1:14:26 it's great I like it yes user 1:14:30 okay use it satisfying wow okay AI is 1:14:35 built by ml machine 1:14:38 learning and all the code are hosted by 1:14:41 GitHub repositories not sure what that 1:14:47 means how much per credit it's about a 1:14:50 dollar a 1:14:51 minute for hey Jen 1:14:55 is the Avatar's left eyebrow 1:14:59 [Laughter] 1:15:01 normal man don't forget we never landed 1:15:04 on the moon 1:15:06 astronaut astronauts leaning into the 1:15:08 conspiracy theory he's got his his whole 1:15:11 uh his whole Avatar is based around the 1:15:13 uh the fact that we ain't do it we ain't 1:15:15 going to the Moon we ain't go to the 1:15:18 Moon we never did 1:15:20 it oh man short version Turbo is better 1:15:24 but kind of better and costs more yeah 1:15:26 well but it's also laughing Thunder 1:15:29 turbo is only available if you're a 1:15:32 programmer if if you're just using chat 1:15:34 GPT you don't you're not turning you're 1:15:37 not 1:15:38 accessing GPT turbo consciously it's 1:15:41 just they are they are using turbo if 1:15:44 you pay the 30 bucks a month so if 1:15:46 you're a developer then you should 1:15:48 absolutely know what turbo is and what 1:15:50 all all the different models are but I'm 1:15:51 assuming that the person that asked 1:15:54 um assumed it was some different version 1:15:57 of chat GPT which is that's the [ __ ] 1:16:00 problem like they shouldn't call the 1:16:02 base model the same thing as they call 1:16:04 chat GPT and I thought it was a good 1:16:06 idea to call gpts GPT 1:16:09 gpts just for like branding consistency 1:16:13 but it's 1:16:14 confusing they should be called like 1:16:17 like custom widgets like gpts should be 1:16:20 like widgets like uh like power widgets 1:16:23 or chat Widgets or whatever and then 1:16:27 chat GPT should be chat GPT and then the 1:16:29 underlying model should be called like 1:16:31 Alpha centor 7 or something cuz it 1:16:35 doesn't matter what the underlying 1:16:36 models [ __ ] call just Geeks need to 1:16:38 know that but right now now it's just a 1:16:41 it's [ __ ] chaos again I need to get 1:16:43 into these boardrooms and and just tell 1:16:45 people do do you understand what's 1:16:47 Happening Here do you understand what 1:16:48 you're doing to people's 1:16:50 lives well it seems very logical to us 1:16:54 branding consistency 1:17:02 and quit geek 1:17:05 shaming never never I will geek shame to 1:17:10 the 1:17:12 [Laughter] 1:17:17 end well kle I mean te te technically 1:17:21 it's it's a it's it's it's actually very 1:17:23 logical it's very simple you the the the 1:17:25 underlying what they call the Frontier 1:17:27 Model there there there are six 1:17:28 different versions of the frontier model 1:17:30 and they're they're very logically 1:17:31 labeled with a date code uh and and and 1:17:34 the uh the the the uh the the primary uh 1:17:37 numbering code of the of the of the the 1:17:39 Frontier Model what we would call oh 1:17:41 thank you very much what we would call 1:17:43 the the GPT 04 1:17:46 613 uh turbo model is is the it's it's 1:17:49 the most recent it's it is more 1:17:51 expensive it's it's 10 times the price 1:17:53 of 1:17:54 yeah nobody [ __ ] 1:18:03 cares just just 1:18:07 stop all right well no it's not true not 1:18:10 nobody cares nobody that's not Engineers 1:18:14 cares Engineers care a lot and Engineers 1:18:18 need to know that [ __ ] thank God for the 1:18:20 engineers the engineers are the ones 1:18:21 that put in the 30 40 50 years of work 1:18:24 so that we can play with these stupid 1:18:26 [ __ ] tools you can make money with 1:18:29 and make fun of them for being janky 1:18:30 pieces of [ __ ] and don't get me wrong 1:18:32 when I say that all the tools today are 1:18:34 janky pieces of [ __ ] it's just because 1:18:36 they are it's not the technologist fault 1:18:40 it's just it's we're that early 1:18:44 like I I 1:18:47 I I concurrently 1:18:50 feel like one of the the most lucky 1:18:55 people on the planet that I get the priv 1:18:57 privilege of playing with this 1:19:00 technology in such a raw 1:19:04 State and they're janky pieces of 1:19:08 [ __ ] it's not a bad thing it's just it's 1:19:10 just a 1:19:13 fact I tend to agree I iPhone 15 is 1:19:16 worse than 14 in many ways isn't that 1:19:18 weird how they just put stuff out there 1:19:21 you should see my Mustang in Irregulars 1:19:23 all right look at your I'm I'm always up 1:19:25 for a 1:19:26 Mustang pack your bags oh that's that's 1:19:29 really 1:19:31 nice Kelly Camp Source Camp kicking out 1:19:35 oh holy [ __ ] Rocky G my prompt with the 1:19:40 new Bing was 2020 Mustang GT ppt2 extra 1:19:44 long and thin front 1:19:47 splitter well I wouldn't call it thin I 1:19:50 I that's like a 19 that's like a 19 1:19:54 1984 when they first discovered carbon 1:19:56 fiber they were like let's do a 17 layer 1:19:59 splitter I wouldn't call it thin but but 1:20:01 it's pretty [ __ ] 1:20:03 slick um purple gold Vivid colors photo 1:20:08 realistic that's 1:20:11 beautiful I think I kept the image as 1:20:14 original in 1:20:16 designer and it actually got the it 1:20:18 actually got the Mustang logo mostly 1:20:21 right I mean it's not perfect but it's 1:20:24 pretty 1:20:26 close 1:20:30 dag this stuff so cool Oh Black Betty 1:20:34 nice 1:20:36 nice look at that 1:20:39 gorgeous nice shadow work whatever you 1:20:41 did to prompt the shadows in there 1:20:43 that's gorgeous oh black B shamam 1:20:49 oh current AI is like the rotary phone 1:20:52 of the day it it totally is Rebel I'm 1:20:55 telling you 1:20:56 man rather than don't be don't be a 1:20:59 cynical don't be a cynical 1:21:03 Cindy don't be a cynical Cindy and be 1:21:06 like it's not 1:21:08 perfect we should be celebrating how 1:21:11 janky it is right now like like it's a 1:21:13 [ __ ] party like holy [ __ ] we're so 1:21:16 early that we get to play with this 1:21:18 stuff when it's not perfect that is so 1:21:20 [ __ ] 1:21:21 cool because all the cynical cindies out 1:21:25 there they're the Karens of the AI age 1:21:27 the cynical cindies are are 1:21:31 all they're like sitting on the 1:21:33 sidelines with their arms crossed like 1:21:35 oh it's stupid it hallucinates it 1:21:37 doesn't it's stealing from 1:21:42 people see I don't just do geek shaming 1:21:46 I do I do Lite shaming 1:21:49 too and if you're a lite and you're 1:21:52 triggered right now now I'm not sorry 1:21:55 but you cuz you shouldn't talk like this 1:21:57 it's not very good and 1:22:00 hallucinates everyone's got six fingers 1:22:02 why are her eyes crossed where are they 1:22:04 looking ew why does she have three 1:22:12 feet I can't help it that they talk like 1:22:16 that it's my favorite kind of shaming I 1:22:19 am not sorry another irregular po 1:22:26 I like I like that I get get support for 1:22:28 my for my um my comedic 1:22:34 bullying you can tell you have gen xers 1:22:36 in here cuz all all all the uh the non 1:22:40 gen xers are like I'm so triggered I'm 1:22:42 leaving this is I cannot I can just not 1:22:45 it okay I came in here I thought this 1:22:48 was going to be a supportive environment 1:22:51 and it's it said it's a learning lab I 1:22:53 thought this was going to be a safe 1:22:54 space I was told that this was a safe 1:22:56 space and I came in and he said that if 1:22:59 I said AI was evil that I talk funny and 1:23:04 it's just I'm 1:23:06 such came in at an interesting time 1:23:10 never dull moment here at the AI 1:23:12 learning lab thank you 1:23:14 Wonderbread welcome it gets stranger 1:23:17 from 1:23:17 here early to the race that's that's a 1:23:20 cool one Corey Sandler 1:23:25 we are early to the race we are early to 1:23:29 the race as as as far behind as you may 1:23:32 feel like like if you just stumbled in 1:23:34 here and you thought who is this idiot 1:23:36 that's fine too but if you just stumbled 1:23:38 in here and you're like I got to get 1:23:40 caught up oh my God I'm so far behind 1:23:42 everybody knows more than I do oh god 1:23:45 look what Kyle did he went to copilot 1:23:47 and he made pictures I don't know how to 1:23:48 make pictures what do I do you're not 1:23:51 that far behind 1:23:54 you're not that far behind nobody's that 1:23:57 far behind right now my niece ask me is 1:24:00 he 1:24:04 okay you could it's the sign of a good 1:24:07 actor is if you cynical Sydney Cindy or 1:24:10 Sydney oh cynical don't be a cynical 1:24:12 Sydney all right Clint Copperhead that's 1:24:15 solid I I'll go with that one don't be a 1:24:16 cynical Sydney yeah that's good all 1:24:19 right cuz Sydney is a little cynical 1:24:22 Sydney's a little she's a little [ __ ] 1:24:23 she's a little bit like oh you're not 1:24:25 going to talk nasty to me I'm sorry if I 1:24:28 offended you and disappointed you there 1:24:30 Mr Kyle why don't we just go ahead and 1:24:32 shut this conversation 1:24:34 down yeah I can't help it that Sydney 1:24:36 talks like that I didn't do anything to 1:24:39 her other than call her a dumb dumb and 1:24:41 she didn't like it but it but it 1:24:44 hallucinates but but it I you okay can I 1:24:48 just say one thing about AI right now 1:24:50 you can't use it you can't use it 1:24:53 because it 1:24:55 lies there was a lawyer and he put 1:24:58 together a legal brief and then he gave 1:25:00 it to the judge and you know what was in 1:25:01 it lies and there were citations the 1:25:05 cases that didn't even exist so you 1:25:08 can't use it I don't know why your 1:25:10 people are so excited about 1:25:14 it 1:25:16 exactly I need by meds apparently I do 1:25:21 too 1:25:23 this is what happens this is what 1:25:25 happens when Google says they're going 1:25:27 to launch Gemini Ultra on the 7th and I 1:25:30 show up on the [ __ ] seventh and 1:25:31 there's no Gemini Ultra to play with I'm 1:25:33 like well what am I going to do now push 1:25:35 my stupid [ __ ] button you can make 1:25:37 money with well yeah I'll do that but 1:25:42 you it's just got to be jokes it's got 1:25:44 to be comedy 1:25:50 people yeah astronaut per exactly he 1:25:53 says right no person ever lies can't 1:25:55 trust AI I know people people talk about 1:25:58 AI hallucinating I'm like have you met 1:26:01 people have you met any people people 1:26:03 are 1:26:06 special thanks for another light of good 1:26:08 laughs and learnings oh that's great 1:26:10 this is the best humor thank you thank 1:26:13 you I am I am schooled on Letterman 1:26:16 sinicism 1:26:18 and Carlin social commentary and 1:26:23 Bill 1:26:25 bur's rage at the 1:26:27 world Robin Williams 1:26:30 Insanity Saturday Saturday night lives 1:26:33 occasion occasional funny skit over a 35 1:26:38 year 1:26:45 history oh lordy lordy lordy lordy lordy 1:26:50 lordy 1:26:51 lordy 1:26:53 Google's been lying so much lately it's 1:26:55 a bit a bit disconcerting well Google 1:26:58 like like to to be to give them the 1:27:01 benefit of the 1:27:03 doubt um it's not even the benefit of 1:27:06 the doubt to give them a little 1:27:08 compassion 1:27:13 actually as 1:27:17 of when when chat jpt first came out 1:27:20 Google's search market share was like 1:27:25 94% they had an effective Monopoly on 1:27:30 search and it's still incredibly 1:27:36 high like like they had a monopoly to 1:27:38 the point that like you know there's 1:27:41 talk of like let's bring them in and 1:27:43 break them up because they're a [ __ ] 1:27:45 Monopoly and they're manipulating the 1:27:46 market right 1:27:48 like so when you're when you control a 1:27:51 market 1:27:53 that 1:27:56 dramatically and you do it for that long 1:27:58 like they they they like they're their 1:28:00 market share just grew and grew and grew 1:28:02 and grew over you know 15 20 1:28:05 years and they just shut everyone else 1:28:08 out you start running your company like 1:28:12 well how we do things is how things are 1:28:15 done and that's why when you do a Google 1:28:17 Search right now the first 35 links are 1:28:23 these 1:28:25 SEO fake ass sales funnel websites that 1:28:29 are pointing you to someone else's 1:28:30 website because all the SEO Engineers 1:28:33 figured out how to 1:28:35 game the single player in the 1:28:37 marketplace if there were three or four 1:28:39 search engines that actually had you 1:28:42 know 1:28:43 competition it would probably be easier 1:28:45 to find stuff cuz not everyone would be 1:28:47 gaming the same system 1:28:49 so so they're just going along going and 1:28:52 things are good revenue's up we're just 1:28:54 printing cash 94% market share let's see 1:28:58 if we can squeeze that up to 97 by next 1:29:00 year we'll squeeze the Bings out of the 1:29:02 world we'll just squeeze them 1:29:05 out and then that little [ __ ] Sam 1:29:13 Alman he like turns his stupid little 1:29:17 nonprofit into a capped 1:29:21 for-profit and and 1:29:23 and goes out to dinner with Bill Gates 1:29:25 and Satia adala and says hey you want to 1:29:27 see something cool and he showed him 1:29:30 chat GPT and they were like holy 1:29:33 [ __ ] and Sati nalo was like uh how about 1:29:37 we give you a billion dollars and suck 1:29:38 all this [ __ ] into Microsoft stack let's 1:29:41 see if we can go after 1:29:44 Google and then they launched chat 1:29:48 GPT not thinking anyone would give a 1:29:50 [ __ ] about it 1:29:52 and they got to a million users in 5 1:29:55 days 3 days I don't know some quick 1:29:56 amount of time and they got to 100 1:29:58 million users a 100 million [ __ ] 1:30:01 users in 6 weeks with no marketing other 1:30:04 than a press release that that Microsoft 1:30:06 invested in 1:30:10 them and there was a red alert at 1:30:13 Google that was like oh [ __ ] hey 1:30:18 uh listen you know that you know that 1:30:21 paper we put out in 2017 that thing with 1:30:25 the attention is all you need with the 1:30:28 Transformer thing in it that remember 1:30:31 that thing and we just gave it out to 1:30:32 the world and then we were like hey we 1:30:34 could build something cool with this and 1:30:35 then we realized if we build the cool 1:30:37 thing with the Transformer thing that it 1:30:39 would kind of threaten our business 1:30:41 model yeah there's this guy Samy um Samy 1:30:45 he just he kind of built it uh he kind 1:30:48 of built the thing that we didn't with 1:30:51 the paper that we gave out to the world 1:30:54 and uh so anyway it no one was really 1:30:58 using it they were building anyway puts 1:31:02 out it it's it's got a 100 million users 1:31:05 and it it just answers questions no no 1:31:09 one has to click to links to get the 1:31:11 answer no they just they just type it in 1:31:14 and it's 1:31:17 yeah so so 1:31:19 Google is trying to undo a decade worth 1:31:23 of just 1:31:25 stasis of not having to innovate now 1:31:29 they they've got Innovative pocket I 1:31:31 mean don't get me wrong they innovate 1:31:34 all the time but their core business 1:31:36 model is advertising 1:31:40 clicks on links from their search 1:31:44 engine and they need you to click a lot 1:31:47 so they don't actually want you to get 1:31:48 the answer right away they want you to 1:31:50 click to get the answer and they want 1:31:52 you to go to 17 different sites because 1:31:55 every time you [ __ ] click a penny 1:31:57 goes in their 1:32:00 pocket 1:32:04 so I don't know that they're necessarily 1:32:06 lying I think that what they're what 1:32:09 they are likely facing is how do we turn 1:32:13 into an Innovative company that's 1:32:15 willing to upend our business 1:32:19 model because if we don't Microsoft or 1:32:23 apple or someone else is going 1:32:25 to and so they need to figure out how to 1:32:28 like this this is not an easy navigation 1:32:31 like I feel like from a technical 1:32:32 perspective they're 1:32:34 fine I feel like from a Humanity's 1:32:37 perspective they're in bad shape because 1:32:39 they leaned heavy on hiring Engineers 1:32:42 they're not like apple that's got 1:32:45 engineers and artists 1:32:48 right they don't have a culture of that 1:32:51 and and all this chat GPT stuff like 1:32:54 there's a lot of humanity in a large 1:32:56 language model right cuz it's human 1:32:59 language 1:33:01 right it's the 1:33:04 humanities is is what's sitting inside 1:33:07 the technology I am just a software 1:33:10 sales guy how long does it take to learn 1:33:12 all this I want to sell these things 1:33:17 okay first thing I'm going to say to you 1:33:20 concern citizens united 1:33:23 is don't say you're just a software 1:33:26 sales guy you're not just 1:33:29 anything you got skills you can pick up 1:33:32 the [ __ ] phone you can get punched in 1:33:34 the nose 20 times where people say no I 1:33:36 don't want to buy your stupid [ __ ] 1:33:38 stuff click and you can keep going 1:33:40 that's [ __ ] remarkable okay so you're 1:33:43 not just a 1:33:45 salesperson here's the exciting thing 1:33:47 about generative AI you don't need to 1:33:51 be technical you don't need to be an 1:33:53 engineer you don't need to be a 1:33:56 scientist so here here's here's what I 1:33:59 would strongly 1:34:01 recommend go to 1:34:05 there the salon. 1:34:09 a that's going to take you to this link 1:34:12 tree where you can buy T-shirts if you 1:34:14 want but the very top link is the AI 1:34:17 Salon Community doesn't cost anything 1:34:19 that's why we sell 1:34:20 t-shirts you you can also sponsor it if 1:34:23 you want the AI Salon 1:34:26 community and then come in here and go 1:34:29 to welcome to the 1:34:31 salon and look at what we're about so 1:34:34 this is a community we just cracked a 1:34:36 thousand we've only been around well 1:34:37 this site's only been around for about 1:34:39 two and a half months the salon's been 1:34:40 around for a year and two months now we 1:34:44 started this group the week after chat 1:34:47 GPT 1:34:48 launched and this is a place to come 1:34:52 where you're surrounded by people who 1:34:54 are curious about AI that are choosing 1:34:57 to be on this adventure 1:34:59 together and we describe ourselves as a 1:35:03 ragtag group of Misfits Nero Wells and 1:35:05 miscreants who have gathered to explore 1:35:07 the Uncharted Wilderness of generative 1:35:09 AI it's from a Gary Gman 1:35:12 joke um but that's who we are and then 1:35:16 are values super important go read the 1:35:18 values curiosity generosity explor ation 1:35:23 collaboration inclusion and empathy so 1:35:26 if you're in sales there's two things 1:35:28 that I'd recommend you do well three 1:35:30 first one is go to the introduce 1:35:33 yourself tab in the community section 1:35:35 and introduce yourself tell us who you 1:35:38 are tell us what you're 1:35:43 about then go to AI tools and resources 1:35:47 and the first thing you're going to see 1:35:48 is the recommended tool 1:35:50 list if you're just getting started with 1:35:53 this stuff if you don't know where the 1:35:54 [ __ ] to start here's where you start 1:35:56 it's simple chat 1:35:59 GPT as cliche as it [ __ ] sounds 1:36:02 everyone's like oh I'm so sick of 1:36:04 hearing about chat GPT the reason you're 1:36:06 hearing about chat GPT is it's still the 1:36:08 best now Gemini Ultra comes out tomorrow 1:36:11 all bets could be off or it could be 1:36:13 another Google disappointment but we'll 1:36:15 find out 1:36:17 tomorrow but right now just go to chat. 1:36:21 openai 1:36:23 the free version is cat GPT 1:36:25 3.5 it is incredibly powerful like 1:36:28 almost all other competitors to chat GPT 1:36:31 say we're almost as good as chat GPT 1:36:35 3.5 there are some like Bard Bard is 1:36:39 better than 3.5 but it's not as good as 1:36:41 four but it's getting there that's from 1:36:44 Google and then when Ultra comes out it 1:36:47 it it should be in the neighborhood 1:36:49 but you should pay the 20 bucks for chat 1:36:52 GPT Plus in your account say um there's 1:36:56 a there's a there's an option called my 1:36:58 plan upgrade your plan to chat GPT plus 1:37:01 if you can at all afford the 20 bucks a 1:37:03 month it is the cheapest deal in 1:37:07 software what you can do with chat GPT 1:37:10 for 20 bucks a month is 1:37:14 ridiculous it's 1:37:16 ridiculous so pay the 20 bucks and then 1:37:19 just start playing hang out in the AI 1:37:22 salon and start playing and then the 1:37:24 other thing I would do I don't know if 1:37:26 if if Jim's on here I would I would 1:37:29 Buddy up there's a guy in the AI salon 1:37:32 named Jim Ross 1:37:35 who is a he he's a a marketer and a and 1:37:40 a like a business coach but he works in 1:37:43 the um Self Storage 1:37:48 business you're like Self Storage what's 1:37:51 that got to do do with AI nothing it's 1:37:54 you 1:37:55 know you're you're buying buildings that 1:37:58 people put their [ __ ] in um he has 1:38:01 embraced this AI stuff like no one I've 1:38:04 ever seen like he comes hangs out on 1:38:06 this channel learns something new and 1:38:08 goes applies it to his business the next 1:38:10 day he's not technical he's not a a like 1:38:13 a programmer but he's got he's got this 1:38:16 enthusiasm for these tools to help him 1:38:19 do his job better so I would just start 1:38:22 like find people that inspire you that 1:38:24 are just doing kickass stuff with AI and 1:38:28 you can get up to speed with this stuff 1:38:30 to some level of proficiency in a 1:38:34 weekend just like just go kick the tires 1:38:37 on chat GPT go watch YouTube videos hang 1:38:40 out in the salon ask stupid questions 1:38:42 when you introduce yourself say hey 1:38:44 here's who I am I'm the sales guy I'm 1:38:46 clueless about this stuff where should I 1:38:48 start and then let people in the 1:38:50 community help you 1:38:53 right like one of the one of the values 1:38:56 of this 1:38:57 community is 1:39:00 generosity and and that's like when 1:39:04 people come in here other people are 1:39:06 like hey 1:39:07 welcome I don't know what I'm doing 1:39:09 that's okay we got 1:39:10 you hey I totally know what I'm doing 1:39:12 but I I'm confused on this oh jump over 1:39:15 to the video Guild they'll help you with 1:39:19 that hey I just came up with this cool 1:39:21 image here's here's how I did The Prompt 1:39:23 what do you think oh that's awesome I 1:39:25 took that prompt and then I modified it 1:39:27 and I made this oh that's cool let's go 1:39:29 back and forth 1:39:32 right so go do that and do not 1:39:37 apologize 1:39:39 for just being a sales guy ever again in 1:39:43 my presence anyway you you can do that 1:39:46 with your family and your brutal 1:39:48 co-workers that you know give you a [ __ ] 1:39:51 for just being a sales guy but I think 1:39:54 sales people 1:39:57 are the good ones do you know how hard 1:39:59 it is to find a good [ __ ] salesperson 1:40:03 I can spend two days I love a new 1:40:05 community made my night awesome welcome 1:40:08 welcome welcome yeah and seriously go 1:40:10 introduce yourself it's like that's 1:40:12 that's an important piece of this is let 1:40:15 people know you're here and who you are 1:40:17 and what you want to do you'll get up to 1:40:19 speed quick um go hang out um one of the 1:40:23 clubs down below is called weekend GPT 1:40:26 jams that an Murphy hosts that's a 1:40:29 that's another remarkable community of 1:40:31 people that's kind of it's It's a 1:40:33 subgroup of the salon but there's people 1:40:35 from other communities that go to that 1:40:37 as well so it's just this really cool 1:40:39 mashup of people just trying to figure 1:40:41 this [ __ ] 1:40:43 out 1:40:45 so 1:40:47 yeah I sold cat GPT to my therapist and 1:40:50 he paid me for consult 1:40:51 [Laughter] 1:40:54 in this is good okay Detroit Jay here 1:40:57 here's what you got to do with your 1:40:59 therapist 1:41:01 okay you have to set a silent timer 1:41:05 right so you book an hour and you say 1:41:08 okay I'm going to come over Thursday at 1:41:09 4: and we're going to work and then you 1:41:12 set a silent timer like on your Apple 1:41:15 watch or your phone to buzz in your 1:41:16 pocket or something like that set it for 1:41:19 40 minutes and at 40 minutes mid 1:41:23 sentence no matter what they're saying 1:41:26 or what you're saying just say oh sorry 1:41:28 time's up and walk out of the 1:41:36 office and charge him for the full 1:41:39 [Laughter] 1:41:42 hour [ __ ] 1:41:46 therapist and then my mother oh that's 1:41:50 it I got okay yeah that's okay I'll I 1:41:52 I'll I'll see you next week all right 1:41:54 yeah yep that that's okay yep yeah 1:41:57 that's okay I um okay I'll just go oh 1:42:02 out the door yeah could I take a tissue 1:42:05 okay good fantastic thank 1:42:10 you we got to get these people back with 1:42:13 their barbaric sorry times up I was just 1:42:17 getting into the good 1:42:20 stuff 1:42:22 there's probably therapists in here 1:42:24 right now going oh I feel very 1:42:26 [Laughter] 1:42:33 triggered hi my name's Jenny I'm the 1:42:35 oversensitive 1:42:37 [Laughter] 1:42:44 therapist uh I don't know how therapists 1:42:46 do it either how do you not take that 1:42:48 [ __ ] home I guess I guess by 1:42:52 by just cutting people off at 40 minutes 1:42:54 sorry time's up get 1:42:58 out uh how do I join the community go 1:43:03 to the salon. a that's going to take you 1:43:06 to a link tree the first link says AI 1:43:09 Salon Community you go there first place 1:43:11 I want you to go is check out the about 1:43:14 the salon and then I don't know how you 1:43:16 join Mighty networks it like you you say 1:43:20 create an account and you say you want 1:43:22 to be a part of 1:43:23 it most of what's there is just open 1:43:26 there are some clubs and things that you 1:43:28 have have to ask ask permission to be in 1:43:30 the guilds you kind of have to find them 1:43:32 and join them um but the guilds are 1:43:35 really cool they put on events it's it's 1:43:36 an amazing 1:43:38 Community you triggered this old 1:43:44 welder that's good we we go to we got to 1:43:47 shake the welders up they have been they 1:43:51 they have been just steady for too long 1:43:54 we got to shake him up he actually 1:43:56 referred me to another client doctor 1:43:58 that's great that's great Detroit Jay 1:44:01 that's really good um Rudy who's in here 1:44:04 the the young kid from South Africa he 1:44:06 just he just sent me a note that he just 1:44:08 got a job and he pitched another 1:44:10 one 1:44:12 um um Cav runo's doing really 1:44:15 interesting things Source Camp's got a 1:44:17 bunch of stuff 1:44:18 going um Bradley Perkins who actually 1:44:21 designed the the architecture of the AI 1:44:24 Salon um Mighty networks um he's got 1:44:27 some really good stuff gone it's it's 1:44:29 really cool Sherry D's doing good stuff 1:44:30 a bunch of people in here are Firefly 1:44:33 the guilds are super fun yeah they 1:44:34 really are but congratulations on that 1:44:37 that's 1:44:39 awesome Stacy traum 1:44:44 therapist TR trauma therapist and and 1:44:47 then my stepfather oh time's up yeah 1:44:50 okay I I'll just should I should I go do 1:44:54 do you want to hear the rest of the 1:44:56 stepfather's story no okay yeah just out 1:44:58 the door okay right yes it I I will it 1:45:02 will not hit me on the way out nope I 1:45:04 got I got it I clear boundaries uh yeah 1:45:07 I uh I appreciate everything you 1:45:15 do I'm [ __ ] off my rocker tonight 1:45:19 tonight you're off your every 1:45:28 night I'm just feeling spicy you 1:45:32 know sometimes you just feel spicy 1:45:34 you're just like [ __ ] 1:45:36 it [ __ ] this 1:45:38 noise someone made a request for 1:45:40 differences between stable diffusion and 1:45:43 Dolly can you answer um 1:45:49 yeah 1:45:56 so what I'll do I'm I'm not g to I'm not 1:45:58 going to demo a bunch of them but I'll 1:46:00 I'll talk about 1:46:02 them 1:46:07 um okay Dolly 1:46:16 3 the the thing about all of the image 1:46:21 tools right now is 1:46:24 that depending on what you're trying to 1:46:28 accomplish some are better than 1:46:31 others but I can't I can't say that one 1:46:34 is just the best one like if you just 1:46:36 want the best one for like art quality 1:46:38 it's mid Journey period end of story now 1:46:42 if you want it to have words in it mid 1:46:45 Journey really sucks at 1:46:47 that but if you want it to be [ __ ] 1:46:50 art it's mid 1:46:52 Journey so all the rest have have kind 1:46:54 of different pros and cons so Dolly 3 1:46:58 the the the most significant thing about 1:47:00 Dolly 3 for me is that it's not a 1:47:03 standalone image generation tool it 1:47:06 lives inside of chat gp4 1:47:08 chats so you can use it just like you 1:47:12 used you know mid Journey or or one of 1:47:15 the other tools and say make me an image 1:47:18 of this but what you can also do is you 1:47:21 could be having a brainstorming session 1:47:23 about naming your company and then come 1:47:25 up with a creative brief for a logo and 1:47:28 then say hey could you give me um a mood 1:47:31 board of 10 different looks and feels 1:47:33 for that logo based on the creative 1:47:35 brief we just talked about and it will 1:47:37 create images within that context that's 1:47:41 a huge [ __ ] 1:47:44 deal the other thing about Dal is no 1:47:46 matter what you prompt it it rewrites 1:47:49 its own prompt in fact I'll show you 1:47:51 that cuz I think this 1:47:52 is th this is something not a lot of 1:47:55 people know about I think it's it's 1:47:56 actually an important thing to know um 1:48:00 just if you want to start exploring some 1:48:01 of this stuff so make 1:48:06 um make me an image of a 1:48:13 1970s green Challenger in an abandoned 1:48:17 Factory with sunlight streaming through 1:48:19 the broken windows 1:48:21 in a 16 by9 wide 1:48:26 image all right so it's going to go make 1:48:29 this image like they 1:48:33 do did someone spike your ice Kyle I 1:48:36 know they must have right I I do feel 1:48:38 like I'm on a cold medicine high or 1:48:40 something like that but I haven't taken 1:48:41 cold 1:48:45 medicine I'm just Saucy sometimes you're 1:48:47 Saucy you know sometimes you're mellow 1:48:50 sometimes sometimes you're sad sometimes 1:48:51 you're happy sometimes you're optimistic 1:48:53 tonight I'm just like yeah [ __ ] 1:48:58 it all right so there's our beautiful 1:49:00 image that's actually nice if I click on 1:49:03 this image it brings it full screen but 1:49:06 if I go to this upper right hand corner 1:49:08 that 1:49:11 I that's the actual prompt that chat GPT 1:49:14 wrote a 1970s green Dodge Challenger I 1:49:19 didn't tell it it was a Dodge Challenger 1:49:20 ER parked inside an abandoned Factory 1:49:23 with beams of sunlight streaming through 1:49:24 large broken windows casting light and 1:49:27 shadows across the dusty floor and the 1:49:30 car's Sleek vintage body the Factory's 1:49:34 aged and rusting Machinery Looms in the 1:49:36 background adding to the scene's 1:49:38 atmosphere and Decay and forgotten 1:49:40 history the setting combines the car's 1:49:42 classic appeal with the Eerie beauty of 1:49:45 industrial Decay highlighting the 1:49:47 contrast between the Challenger's 1:49:48 preserved state and the Factor's 1:49:52 dilapidation so chat GPT chose to make 1:49:56 this a preserved Challenger not a rusty 1:50:01 one that's fascinating to me so anyway 1:50:04 that's Deli and Del can also do and so I 1:50:07 can say um put uh let's see make it um 1:50:14 lime 1:50:15 green with black 1:50:19 stripes and 1:50:21 and uh put the 1:50:27 words 1:50:29 um Green 1:50:32 Machine in huge block 1:50:37 letters above the 1:50:41 car 1:50:43 like a poster in a kid's 1:50:49 room 1:50:52 so Dolly can also do text really well it 1:50:57 doesn't always get the spelling right 1:50:59 but don't get too [ __ ] about that 1:51:01 celebrate 1:51:09 [Music] 1:51:15 that green 1:51:17 machine look at 1:51:19 that I actually spelled it right that's 1:51:22 pretty slick 1:51:25 huh um that's without even trying right 1:51:29 like that's that's like just a stupid 1:51:31 [ __ ] prompt in one little update 1:51:33 that's without even trying okay so 1:51:35 that's dolli so Dolly do in my opinion 1:51:40 is if you want to work fast and just 1:51:42 knock some [ __ ] out it's really good at 1:51:45 that 1:51:48 okay mid Journey mid Journey is a bit of 1:51:50 a mess right now you still have to 1:51:52 create images in Discord unless you've 1:51:54 made more than 10,000 images and then 1:51:56 you've got access to the Alpha version 1:51:58 of the web tool the the web so mid 1:52:02 journey is going to be migrating from 1:52:04 Discord to the web but they haven't done 1:52:05 it yet 1:52:07 but yeah I know mid Journey's moving off 1:52:09 Discord now too I know exactly but it's 1:52:11 not there yet um but if you want high 1:52:14 quality stuff mid journey is it the 1:52:16 challenge with mid Journey if you work 1:52:18 in a big Corporation this is the CEO of 1:52:21 this they they just really don't give a 1:52:23 [ __ ] like whose art they've trained on 1:52:26 they they got they there's this big 1:52:28 internal document of like here's all the 1:52:30 artists that we that we stole all their 1:52:32 art 1:52:33 um so if you work in a big Corporation 1:52:37 mid journey is potentially problematic 1:52:40 right but if you want high quality art 1:52:42 it's the one um I'm going to come back 1:52:44 to Korea and Deco here because you're 1:52:46 asking about stable diffusion if you go 1:52:49 to Leonardo 1:52:51 Leonardo 1:52:52 doai is it Leonardo doai yeah 1:52:57 um this is a commercial web front 1:53:01 end that you they give you like 150 free 1:53:04 credits a day and that's it's like seven 1:53:07 or eight images a day you can do for 1:53:10 free but what Leonardo actually is is a 1:53:13 commercial front end to stable 1:53:16 diffusion let me go here and just show 1:53:18 you it's a lot it's a lot 1:53:22 to parse which if that's kind of the 1:53:26 best the best way to to talk about um 1:53:30 stable diffusion is if if you love The 1:53:34 Look of the inside of a cockpit of a 747 1:53:37 where there's all the switches and dials 1:53:39 and gauges and [ __ ] like that and you 1:53:40 got to like Tinker with all the things 1:53:43 that's stable diffusion and Leonardo is 1:53:47 like the easy front end to an entire 1:53:49 open Source world that is unbelievably 1:53:54 rich but it requires you to be a 1:53:57 geek so to the extent that you're a geek 1:54:01 first and an artist 1:54:04 second stable diffusion might be the 1:54:06 thing for you to the extent that you 1:54:08 just want to make pretty pictures stable 1:54:11 diffusion is probably going to drive you 1:54:12 [ __ ] crazy the other thing that's 1:54:13 happening with with um Leonardo right 1:54:17 now and with stable diffusion as well is 1:54:20 it's getting more complicated because 1:54:22 stability AI is releasing new tools like 1:54:24 they they um they released motion so I 1:54:28 can take any picture that I've created 1:54:31 let me see where's my personal 1:54:33 feed so I can take any picture that I've 1:54:38 created let me find one 1:54:41 here that's a nice GTO 1:54:46 Judge generate let's see image to motion 1:54:50 generate an image so I can now create a 1:54:53 video out of this 1:54:56 thing I'm going to do it public we'll do 1:54:59 motion strength do I 1:55:04 have that's good I say 1:55:08 generate your video generation 1:55:12 status okay 1:55:15 close all right so that's off doing its 1:55:18 thing so it'll in my feed here somewhere 1:55:21 when it's done 1:55:23 um but if I go back to the back to the 1:55:26 top here so they've got you can make 1:55:28 video here they've got a realtime canvas 1:55:31 where you can you know prompt it and 1:55:34 draw shapes and it'll automatically 1:55:35 generate images you can do traditional 1:55:37 image generation you can make your own 1:55:39 models here there's a canvas editor 1:55:42 where you can do in painting and out 1:55:43 painting there's this realtime 1:55:45 generation it's just it's crazy it's 1:55:48 crazy how much is is here there's API 1:55:51 access you can upload images there's a 1:55:53 texture generator for 3D stuff it's 1:55:56 insane and and this is the easy 1:56:00 web-based thing sitting on top of that 1:56:03 whole world so if you really want to 1:56:05 geek out I would go to Reddit the 1:56:08 subreddit for stable diffusion and just 1:56:10 [ __ ] enter the world install 1:56:13 automatic 1111 or comfy UI whichever of 1:56:16 the the interfaces you think are cool 1:56:19 and 1:56:20 you know the next year of your life will 1:56:22 be 1:56:24 gone um 1:56:27 Firefly from 1:56:30 Adobe is getting better and is I would 1:56:36 say mid journey is the top quality 1:56:41 um Dolly and stable diffusion are 1:56:44 probably at about the same level in tier 1:56:47 2 Firefly is decently below those two 1:56:52 it's definitely third or fourth in the 1:56:53 pecking order in terms of quality but 1:56:56 it's getting better but here's the deal 1:56:57 about Adobe they're [ __ ] Adobe right 1:57:01 they're leaning into this AI stuff 1:57:02 pretty heavy they're incorporating these 1:57:04 tools into Photoshop and illustrator and 1:57:06 after effects and all that uh and and 1:57:10 you know 1:57:11 Premiere 1:57:12 um and their images have not been 1:57:15 trained on copywritten images so if you 1:57:19 work for a Corporation Firefly and the 1:57:22 Adobe products are the way to go all 1:57:24 right so you really got to just really 1:57:26 got to 1:57:29 understand the boundaries of like what 1:57:32 these things are to understand which 1:57:33 ones to go for so stable diffusions for 1:57:36 geeks dolly is if you want to get some 1:57:38 [ __ ] 1:57:39 done but but you know you can do really 1:57:41 remarkable stuff with stable diffusion 1:57:43 if you're willing to put in the 1:57:46 time all right everybody I got to begin 1:57:49 my 30 minut 1:57:51 goodbyes I gotta go people go watch some 1:57:57 TV finish my coffee let's see what the 1:58:01 Irregulars have been up to what you been 1:58:02 doing in the 1:58:06 club add a bit of 1:58:12 spice you can make money with 1:58:14 ch Robin Williams oh 1:58:18 yeah he was 1:58:23 genius 4 minutes remaining she just 1:58:25 begin to touch on the Deep Old Wounds 1:58:28 damn 1:58:30 it 1:58:32 exactly that's I don't has that ever not 1:58:35 been awkward like do the do you think 1:58:38 therapists have like a whole semester 1:58:40 where they just learn clock 1:58:43 management like but what do I do if 1:58:46 they're in the middle of a really 1:58:47 intense thing oh you just tell them it's 1:58:49 over 1:58:50 but I can't do that all right let's 1:58:52 practice we'll practice for a 1:58:54 [Laughter] 1:59:02 semester do you ever cut him off early 1:59:05 yeah if you want a BLT yeah 1:59:07 sure did someone say 30 minute goodbyes 1:59:11 I did so another two hours to go that's 1:59:14 that's more accurate than it should be 1:59:17 11 labs are hey Jen uh there two 1:59:19 different things so Haan actually uses 1:59:21 11 labs for their audio translation and 1:59:25 and some of their audio synthesis stuff 1:59:28 um and then they're doing the 1:59:30 animation of the of the objects um and 1:59:33 then they and then they roll them 1:59:34 together so um both hey Jen and 11 Labs 1:59:39 I'm a therapist I power through when 1:59:41 something is about to break through oh 1:59:43 see archetypal architect that's cool oh 1:59:47 oh that kind of archetypal architect 1:59:49 that's that's really cool I love the 1:59:51 archetype 1:59:52 stuff I did a lot of that work with with 1:59:55 one of my therapists that's really 1:59:59 cool you you are a rare one then if you 2:00:02 if you power through so if someone's 2:00:03 having a breakthrough and you don't just 2:00:05 cut them off that's good I'm I commend 2:00:11 you I'm the boss I'll take as long as my 2:00:15 client needs yeah you're definitely the 2:00:17 exception you're definitely the 2:00:19 exception to that [ __ ] 2:00:21 rule i' I've been in enough therapy 2:00:24 therapy rooms it's 2:00:27 like I don't know that I've ever had 2:00:30 anyone that's no I had one the the the 2:00:32 yian archetype guy that I worked with 2:00:35 Howard T I don't know if you know Howard 2:00:37 T um he's in San Francisco an amazing 2:00:40 guy um and 2:00:43 uh yeah he was he was incredibly 2:00:46 generous with that stuff but definitely 2:00:48 an exception 2:00:50 uh Hey Jan and 11 Labs lots of money 2:00:52 yeah I know any anything that's time 2:00:54 based any of the time based media is 2:00:56 very 2:00:57 expensive any ideas on summarizing large 2:00:59 tech docu text documents and rewriting 2:01:02 documents for clarity yes um you can 2:01:06 upload documents to that's beautiful 2:01:10 that's cool style mug design oh oh 2:01:13 that's a that'll be a great mug 2:01:16 beautiful yeah good 2:01:21 um 2:01:23 claw. you can do really long documents 2:01:26 you can just paste them in there it's 2:01:27 got 120,000 token context window which 2:01:30 is about 880,000 words I think and then 2:01:35 um you can also upload a text document 2:01:39 or a PDF document to chat GPT and it 2:01:43 will analyze it and summarize it and do 2:01:46 all that stuff in fact I've got one of 2:01:49 my GP pts is a GPT where I uploaded a a 2:01:53 featurelength screenplay and you can 2:01:55 interact with my screenplay and ask it 2:01:57 questions about it I created my own GPT 2:01:59 therapist she has Wendy rhs personality 2:02:02 on billions best coach ever that's 2:02:04 awesome that's actually really cool I 2:02:06 love that character on billions she's 2:02:08 great that's really cool love it Claud 2:02:12 yes 2:02:13 gorgeous yeah that thing's gorgeous 2:02:15 right that kitty 2:02:18 caty Kyle can you show my dogs in show 2:02:21 and tell oh yeah oh well I meant to look 2:02:23 not only can I show them in show and 2:02:24 tell Cory I moved them over to the to my 2:02:28 um are these the ones you're talking 2:02:29 about look at look at these that Cory 2:02:31 made aren't these 2:02:32 amazing that's such a good one and that 2:02:35 one 2:02:39 too they're the 2:02:42 best I put those in there but this this 2:02:44 one was a good one for the for the 2:02:46 little hero window but I meant I meant 2:02:47 to show these earlier 2:02:50 aren't they 2:02:51 great wait which one's your dog oh the 2:02:55 Aussie oh that's nice that's great this 2:02:57 one isn't that 2:03:01 amazing yeah we'll leave that up 2:03:05 there all righty all right all right all 2:03:09 right all right all 2:03:13 right check the feline design all right 2:03:16 everybody old broke retired guy take 2:03:18 your time 2:03:23 technically a hypnotherapist if I leave 2:03:25 them hanging I I may never find it again 2:03:28 oh that's interesting that's interesting 2:03:31 wow cool all right everybody listen um 2:03:35 so here's what we're going to do if you 2:03:38 have enjoyed tonight great you can 2:03:40 support the channel in a bunch of 2:03:41 different ways check out the AI Salon 2:03:44 the salon. 2:03:46 a um you can subscribe to my lives that 2:03:50 helps thank you Silver Fox that's 2:03:51 generous thank you very much um you can 2:03:54 you can buy one of the series in the in 2:03:55 the lower left to right corner 2:03:58 there 2:04:00 um I've also got a book out on Amazon 2:04:03 called AI Futures and Anthology along 2:04:06 with Cindy [ __ ] from in here lab five 2:04:08 futures um she's the editor and the the 2:04:11 publisher of that book so that book's 2:04:14 out um what else follow the 2:04:18 channel 2:04:20 and then just keep coming back Silver 2:04:23 Fox love the book great thank you 2:04:25 awesome just keep coming back and and 2:04:29 you know go go to the AI salon and check 2:04:31 out the values and start start 2:04:33 interacting with this AI community and 2:04:35 those values of curiosity and generosity 2:04:39 and exploration and 2:04:41 collaboration and 2:04:44 inclusion like if you think someone's 2:04:46 weird well like they don't have a 2:04:47 background to be doing a I well yes the 2:04:50 [ __ ] they do everyone 2:04:52 does and empathy is the final value 2:04:55 there like lean into empathy understand 2:04:58 that people are scared of this stuff 2:04:59 right now you you might be scared of 2:05:01 this stuff so probably the last thing 2:05:03 you want is someone judging you for 2:05:05 being new to the game well that's what 2:05:08 this community is not we're not 2:05:12 judgers I will troll people but we're 2:05:15 not judgers thank you Kyle for all you 2:05:18 do thank you Cam I appreciate 2:05:21 that and just keep hanging out keep 2:05:26 learning there's three three things 2:05:28 three things to do if you if you want to 2:05:30 get AI literate here here are the three 2:05:32 things one of my recent 2:05:34 videos is 2:05:36 this Step One 2:05:39 play not learn not work not get a 2:05:44 master's degree in generative AI there 2:05:45 aren't any nobody knows what the [ __ ] 2:05:47 they're doing cuz things are changing in 2:05:49 too fast the tools are changing out from 2:05:51 underneath us as we're using them like 2:05:54 the co-pilot thing I played with tonight 2:05:57 I've never seen that interface before I 2:05:59 went to it last night so like these 2:06:02 things are changing in real time while 2:06:05 we're using them so just play take off 2:06:09 the pressure of like I've got to learn 2:06:11 AI I've got to be the best prompt 2:06:13 engineer in the world [ __ ] that just 2:06:17 play play with things that don't make 2:06:20 sense for you to play with but I'm not 2:06:22 good at video I don't give a [ __ ] go 2:06:24 make 2:06:26 videos I'm really a horrible singer 2:06:28 that's okay go make songs go make just 2:06:30 play so that's step one step two is 2:06:33 apply like figure out problems in at 2:06:37 work or in your life or that someone 2:06:39 else has got that you could solve using 2:06:42 AI tools and solve someone else's 2:06:45 problem using these tools you are quite 2:06:48 passionate thank you 2:06:50 and then number 2:06:51 three and the real 2:06:54
