Description

In this engaging session from the AI Learning Lab, Kyle explores the intersection of creativity and technology, delving into the nuances of AI's role in artistic expression and societal implications. He discusses the challenges of navigating new legislation surrounding AI, particularly a controversial Colorado Senate bill that aims to regulate AI technologies without a clear understanding of their complexities. The conversation shifts to the creative potential of AI, as Kyle shares insights on using generative tools for music and visual art, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between human creativity and AI capabilities. He also touches on the ethical considerations of using AI-generated content, particularly in relation to identity verification and the potential for misuse. This multifaceted dialogue not only highlights the transformative power of AI in creative fields but also raises critical questions about its future impact on society. 5:04 [Music]
5:17 all
5:19 right let's take off the stringed
5:22 instrument and get to the talking
5:25 talking talking I had a good day today I
5:28 I met with uh Andrew who I'm working on
5:31 the musical with we had a really good
5:33 session did a 2-hour session came up
5:36 with some good
5:38 ideas the basic stories there now it's
5:41 about how do you make it special how do
5:43 you make it worthy of someone sitting
5:44 through two hours of
5:46 it how do you take how do you take a
5:49 two-hour chat session and turn that into
5:52 a two-hour Broadway musical people would
5:54 pay money for that is the art that's
5:57 what we're uh that's what we're trying
5:59 to figure out
6:04 but that was good trying to think what
6:07 else I did
6:08 today try to get some more people to
6:10 sign sign the letter for
6:13 uh for the shitty Colorado Senate bill
6:17 that we're trying to
6:19 get
6:23 dumped I I hate can I just say I hate
6:26 politics I've said that for the past
6:28 three nights I just don't like it it
6:30 just gives me an Oogie feeling I don't
6:32 like it I don't like
6:36 it oh man um what else we going to do
6:40 tonight what are we going to do what are
6:41 we going to do I don't got ideas I'm
6:44 going to leave it up to you tonight tell
6:46 tell me ask so here's the deal you got
6:48 questions about AI ask them you have
6:51 ideas you got something you're working
6:52 on put it in there
6:55 um I think tonight might just be a
6:58 chitty chat night but we see I never
7:00 know quite where it's going to go got to
7:03 be easier than turning Howen cats into a
7:06 musical that runs for decades yeah well
7:08 I mean that's the thing is if you can
7:11 get a decent
7:12 story and craft it well for the stage
7:16 like we've got a bunch like there's a
7:19 bunch of good ideas in this thing a
7:21 bunch of
7:24 them it's just about it's like clay
7:28 right it's just like this big ball of
7:29 clay there's this so it started out as a
7:32 small idea and then it turned into a big
7:34 idea but the big idea is just a Big Blob
7:37 of clay and so now it's just about
7:38 shaping it
7:40 and refining it and at some point we got
7:44 to bring in a real music director and
7:46 [ __ ] like
7:47 that um I wonder if that will extend the
7:50 original 165 days possibly let's talk
7:52 about AI big topics in the news this
7:54 week yeah there's been a fair amount of
7:56 them it's been a pretty big news
7:58 week um
8:00 there's a rumor that I think is not true
8:03 that uh open AI is going to drop GPT 5
8:07 tomorrow because it's Sam waltman's
8:09 birthday um I don't think that's true I
8:12 don't buy it oops but if they drop
8:16 something
8:17 tomorrow you heard it here first hang on
8:21 I dropped my cards
8:37 [Music]
8:40 right cards did someone say Frank maybe
8:44 I don't know I don't know oh Frank could
8:46 Frank could get pissed off about this
8:48 this Colorado
8:51 bill you maybe we'll make a we'll make
8:53 Frank a uh a
8:57 uh we'll tag the the the stupid Senator
9:00 that wrote
9:04 it ah 52 card pickup it was about it was
9:09 about 24 card pickup but it was it was a
9:12 lot of cards to pick
9:15 up especially bending over and you know
9:18 trying to pick him up off the floor
9:19 without falling out of my
9:22 chair uh news did someone say Frank yeah
9:25 I think Frank Frank Frank might might
9:27 want to do something tonight
9:30 all right what's the Colorado Bill about
9:32 well the Colorado bill it's called the
9:35 AI consumer protection bill or act or
9:38 law or something like
9:41 that um on the surface it sounds fine
9:44 it's like you know we've got to protect
9:46 people from bias and all this sort of
9:48 stuff but how they implemented it they
9:50 just it is clear that it's written by
9:52 someone who doesn't understand who's
9:54 never used AI um it's also a copy and
9:57 paste bill from a Connecticut bill
10:01 um uh that is also trying to be rushed
10:04 through you know their their particular
10:08 legislature um you know it says things
10:11 like like if you're doing anything in AI
10:14 you have to hire an Ethics lawyer and
10:16 you have to reverse engineer any code
10:18 that you're using to see if it's got
10:20 bias in it and if it does you can't use
10:22 it or you have to mix mitigate it things
10:24 like that and it's just like okay
10:27 clearly you've never like like
10:30 shit's moving too fast and you can't
10:32 reverse
10:33 engineer these large language models
10:36 it's like I don't know it's crazy and
10:40 then they're saying you have to label
10:41 anything that's produced with AI and I'm
10:43 like okay so what percentage of it right
10:46 again one of the one of the
10:48 misconceptions about AI is you push a
10:50 button and outcomes whatever the product
10:52 is that's not how anyone that I know
10:55 uses it they're using it as a
10:56 collaborative tool here's an idea and
10:58 they take that idea and they put that
11:00 into something they expand it then they
11:03 rewrite it and then they go do some
11:04 other [ __ ] in Ai and they put that back
11:07 in at what percentage does it need to be
11:10 labeled
11:11 AI any
11:13 AI cuz sentence completion and Microsoft
11:16 Word uses AI so should if I if I use
11:20 sentence completion should that be
11:21 labeled right like it's it's [ __ ] like
11:23 that it's just it's just very
11:25 non-practical sort of over egregious you
11:28 know
11:29 you you you must make this technology
11:32 safe even though nobody knows what
11:33 technology they're going to be using 3
11:35 months from now right safe Tik Tock
11:38 Frank yeah that's another thing AI
11:40 embedded into all the
11:50 things where do I sign okay so if you
11:53 want to if you want to sign especially
11:55 if you're in Colorado but even if you're
11:57 not in Colorado um we want you to ass
11:59 sign
12:01 so this bill or this this letter that
12:04 we're putting forth is being sponsored
12:07 by the AI
12:08 salon and the Rocky Mountain AI interest
12:11 group so Dan Murray from there and me
12:14 from the AI Salon um have put this
12:17 letter forward we're trying to get as
12:19 many signatures as we can so if you go
12:21 to the Sal green onions you mean Green
12:23 Acres Green Acres is a place to be
12:39 okay so if you go to the
12:42 salon. it's going to take you to this
12:45 page which is a a link tree and the very
12:48 first link here is the
12:52 letter to review and
12:57 sign so s SP
13:00 24-25 is the Senate
13:02 bill and the letter is a fairly
13:06 straightforward thing it says it says
13:07 listen let's put together a working
13:10 group so you can actually get people in
13:12 the room that understand what's going on
13:14 so if we're going to if we're going to
13:16 start regulating AI why don't we do it
13:18 you know with our head not firmly
13:20 planted uh and then we talk about some
13:23 specific things some of the specific
13:26 Provisions um
13:30 like requiring AI developers to take
13:32 reasonable anti-discrimination steps
13:35 regarding
13:36 foreseeable use of General per purpose
13:40 AI I foreseeable use how how is this
13:43 stuff going to be used I don't even know
13:45 what's going to be possible 3 weeks from
13:47 now much less how it's going to be used
13:49 we're way too early for for legislation
13:52 like this legislation's written like
13:54 ai's been around for 30 years which it
13:56 has but that's part of the problem
13:59 generative AI has been around for like a
14:02 year and a
14:03 half right November 30th
14:06 2022 is when this thing ostensibly
14:10 launched AI in my car so if I get an
14:13 accident not my
14:15 fault I have a right to claim AI did it
14:18 right yeah I don't I don't know um
14:20 requiring every AI forward deployer to
14:23 hire civil rights lawyers to review code
14:26 and
14:28 avoid hire civil rights lawyers to
14:31 review code and avoid
14:34 discrimination it's just it's just
14:37 crazy a duty to mark all synthetic
14:42 content what's synthetic
14:45 content technically a photo coming out
14:48 of a digital camera synthetic content
14:50 right so it's just I don't know it's
14:53 just just wonky so anyway if you would
14:56 go read that if you agree with it please
14:59 sign it that would be
15:06 [Music]
15:08 swell I do civil rights the lawmaker is
15:11 not up to
15:15 date I don't know I see the the reason I
15:18 hate politics is I just don't understand
15:20 it like I don't quite know what the
15:22 purpose of this is other than you
15:25 know this guy being able to say I'm here
15:28 to protect you you ai's evil and we're
15:31 going to regulate it without actually
15:35 understanding what it is and AI is not
15:38 evil AI is
15:40 neutral right we don't we don't really
15:43 know what AI is right now we don't know
15:45 how it's going to be used so until we
15:47 understand
15:48 more earlier green onions now he's
15:51 having Green Acres I feel a theme coming
15:54 on I don't know the song Green Onions
15:56 although maybe I do and I just don't
15:58 know that I know it
16:00 uh this is how Napster was gutted it's
16:02 not meant to be easy to understand the
16:04 process it's by Design Ah that's true
16:06 lunatick I just fall for it because I
16:09 just I'm just like I would I'll I'll see
16:12 you
16:13 [Laughter]
16:16 later the government wants to control it
16:18 so they can control us yeah it also yeah
16:21 exactly and it doesn't what it's doing
16:23 is like if I want to use opsource things
16:26 like I can't reverse engineer every open
16:28 source
16:30 well if it's open source I can look at
16:31 the the weights and things like that but
16:33 I'm going to have a lawyer review
16:34 everything everything was trained on and
16:36 then how do you determine bias and who
16:38 bias and how much bias and how deep is
16:41 the bias it's just these these really
16:43 broad kind of laws are just ridiculous
16:46 so anyway anyway that's what's going on
16:50 it's silly
16:52 people all right here's my countdown oh
16:55 here's my conundrum please blond Spain
16:58 web 3
16:59 um blonde
17:04 SP
17:08 um web 3 web web 3 has a lot to do with
17:13 tokenization um which which is basically
17:17 um the the ability well it it's got to
17:21 do with decentralization so so rather
17:24 than having Facebook own
17:26 everything you could create a Facebook
17:28 like server
17:29 that doesn't live on a central server
17:32 and in order to do that you have to do
17:34 this thing called tokenization where
17:36 where you've got a ledger that keeps
17:37 track of all interactions and all
17:41 transactions the problem with web 3
17:43 right now is you know nfts are a part of
17:45 it blockchain's a part of it
17:47 decentralization defi decentralized
17:50 Finance all this stuff is a part of it
17:53 it's incredibly complicated some of it's
17:55 very Foundation level kind of stuff like
17:58 like Internet Protocol call level
18:00 lowlevel stuff some of its higher level
18:04 like interface like you have if you want
18:06 to have crypto you have your own wallet
18:09 and and one of the promises there is
18:12 that if you have your own crypto wallet
18:15 you control your
18:16 own
18:19 money and so you get a crypto wallet and
18:22 they give you this complicated hashtag
18:24 and they've got this saying not your
18:26 keys not your crypto meaning if if some
18:30 centralized entity is controlling your
18:34 account then it's not really your money
18:36 because they could shut it down that
18:38 happened to me I had like a full eth
18:42 which was about
18:43 $2,000 on Voyager and Voyager went belly
18:47 up and my $2,000 just went
18:51 poof and you know and they did
18:53 a I don't know they did something to
18:55 give some amount of the money back but I
18:57 think they gave back like $400 out of
18:59 the 2000 so that's a good example of if
19:03 it's in someone else's hands it's not
19:05 yours here's the
19:08 problem the interface for those crypto
19:11 wallets is is really shitty and really
19:14 Technical and if you don't know what
19:15 you're doing technically you can get
19:17 your wallet drained really easy like if
19:20 someone sends you an email and you click
19:21 on a link and it's the wrong
19:23 link and it's attached to your wallet
19:26 they just take all your [ __ ] out of it
19:28 and so that so because it's so easy to
19:31 dupe
19:32 people you know even though it is
19:34 technically safer than Banks it is
19:36 realistically a [ __ ] show and then on
19:39 top of that you have all these frauders
19:42 in crypto that you know some of them are
19:44 going to jail for 25 30 50 years which
19:48 they
19:48 should um and so it's it you know it's a
19:52 mess right now that said I think
19:57 tokenization is about to be become
20:00 really really
20:04 important it is getting so easy to
20:09 um to create avatars of real people and
20:13 make them say things that they're not
20:14 saying and that technolog is getting
20:16 better and better and better and better
20:18 so one of the ways that you can
20:20 determine hey did Kyle say that or is
20:24 someone spoofing Kyle to make him say
20:27 that is if we had add blockchain
20:30 verified identities and blockchain
20:33 verified content that is attached to
20:37 that identity so you could log into a
20:39 system that was blockchain verified
20:41 identities and there'd be the green
20:43 check mark and unlike the Twitter check
20:46 mark which is just [ __ ] if you pay
20:48 for it you get one this would be you
20:51 don't get a check mark unless you're
20:53 verified on the blockchain and then if
20:55 you've got a check mark there then you
20:56 can be confident that that's really me
21:00 and then when I publish content in that
21:02 system as a verified person this would P
21:05 be a piece of verified content and we
21:07 could have another check mark that says
21:09 this person made this
21:11 content and then there could be another
21:13 check mark that says this content has
21:16 not been modified or this content has
21:19 been modified by this other verified
21:22 person right so with tokenization you
21:24 can track you know you can track The
21:27 Ledger is what they call it
21:30 you can track the transactions and and
21:33 you know so so I think that in the next
21:36 3 years um the web 3 stuff is is going
21:40 to make a come comeback out of necessity
21:43 where there's actually going to be a
21:44 need moderator please
21:47 pin please collab with Matt farmer who's
21:51 Matt farmer I don't know who that
21:53 is Sam a worldcoin yeah world worldcoin
21:57 is one of them um World ID I've got a
22:01 world ID I went to I went to uh New York
22:04 City at Ground Zero they had a uh they
22:07 had a world ID thing there so I got my
22:08 world ID a year August of 23 so like 78
22:15 months ago I don't did did that explain
22:17 it Mary Mary because I know I talked a
22:20 lot but but basically it's it's the
22:25 promise
22:26 is take the power out of the centralized
22:30 entities centralized government C
22:33 centralized Banks you know overly
22:36 powerful companies like Facebook and
22:38 Google and Microsoft and put it in the
22:40 hands of the people right and do that in
22:42 this trustless way right you don't need
22:45 to trust that Google's going to take
22:47 care of your stuff it's trustless
22:49 because it's there's these protocols
22:52 that verify everything right without
22:54 humans needing to be in the loop it's
22:57 just it's a little early and a little
22:58 crappy right now I'm hoping to use nfts
23:01 in engineering and archite Architectural
23:04 model uh submitt yeah that see that
23:07 would be a perfect thing
23:08 right because because you know you could
23:12 say you could get blockchain verified
23:15 you know um sub subcontractors
23:18 submitting you know drawings into your
23:21 drawing and then the whole thing could
23:23 be verified and then that could be
23:25 submitted yeah something like that could
23:27 could could be incredibly useful he's a
23:30 guy that mostly explains three-party AI
23:33 stuff oh interesting interesting cool
23:37 world idea yes thank
23:41 you he's an excellent source of info but
23:44 uses another Tik Tock Matt farmer all
23:47 right cool I'll look him up I went to a
23:50 web 3 meeting and I thought why do I
23:52 need this now but understand the
23:54 importance in the future yeah that's
23:55 that's exactly it Lori it it's
24:02 the the problem the problem with web 3
24:04 and crypto and blockchain in my opinion
24:07 is that it is a solution in search of a
24:11 problem and so there's a lot of people
24:14 that are like well centralized banks are
24:16 the problem well okay they are and when
24:19 they collapse they are but they're
24:21 functional like the entire global
24:23 economy functions on them right now and
24:26 while you can absolutely argue well it's
24:28 not functioning well and it's insolvent
24:29 and blah blah blah all that sort of
24:31 stuff it's still rolling right until it
24:34 stops rolling that's not a problem to
24:37 solve right it's a it's an issue that
24:39 needs to be
24:41 addressed but it's not something that
24:43 people are clamoring for and you know
24:45 same with things like nfts and like the
24:48 the uh the purpose of them is
24:52 is is not clear and it's not being
24:55 driven by consumer demand I think if
24:59 AI
25:01 um avatars let's call them cuz CU deep
25:04 fakes deep fakes is kind of a pejorative
25:06 there's going to be reasons why why to
25:08 use AI avatars if AI avatars get so
25:11 prevalent that people start getting
25:13 confused and especially in an election
25:15 year it could start to get really ugly
25:18 there might actually be a demand for
25:20 we've got to fix this and that's when I
25:22 think something like World ID comes in
25:24 and it's like okay that makes sense now
25:26 or tokenization makes sense and then you
25:28 start Building Systems on top of that
25:31 and you know if they wanted to Facebook
25:35 or Google or you know whoever's got you
25:38 know some sort of service like that
25:40 could absolutely make the choice you
25:42 know Elon Musk could absolutely make the
25:44 choice we're going to make that that
25:47 blue check mark actually mean something
25:49 on
25:50 Twitter how you're we're going to verify
25:52 your identity and if you've got a check
25:54 mark You're a verified single human one
25:57 human per account
26:01 verified and 6 months from now if you
26:04 don't have a verified check mark we're
26:06 deleting your
26:08 account he could do that tomorrow will
26:11 he probably not because they make a lot
26:14 of money on those fake
26:18 accounts first thing to my feed today
26:21 was meta message to try their AI yeah
26:23 there you go you're using you're using a
26:27 fundraising if so what
26:30 for I'm not you I don't know what you
26:32 mean am I using a
26:35 fundraising it needs verification damn
26:38 spammers yeah like like exactly
26:41 that's
26:43 like if you could if you could verify
26:46 that it was a person and that person was
26:50 spamming and then you delete that person
26:54 from spamming they can't come back and
26:56 they can't make a new account cuz it's
26:57 tied to their unique humanness that's
27:00 the way World ID works so it it will
27:04 force people to be better citizens
27:06 within the
27:11 ecosystem great idea thank you very
27:19 much Facebook some fake stuff popping up
27:22 there too oh we're just going to see
27:23 more and more and more fake stuff mo mo
27:26 mo did I show you here you know what we
27:29 should go do I'll go show we've got some
27:30 new people in here I mean how hard is it
27:33 for
27:34 Twitter for Twitter it is to be
27:36 profitable apparently pretty
27:38 [Laughter]
27:41 hard spent all day on meta Ai and I like
27:44 it yeah it's what's nice about meta AI
27:46 is it's really
27:48 simple um yeah let's go look we'll go
27:51 look at that for a second so if you
27:52 haven't seen meta AI
27:57 [Music]
27:59 here's well this is kind of funny so
28:01 here's here's Microsoft co-pilot and
28:04 then if you go to met.
28:09 a oh look it looks almost
28:15 identical um and you know it's it's a
28:18 large language model so you can do what
28:20 you do on large language
28:22 models
28:26 um write me a poem about how how tasty
28:29 gummy puppies
28:36 are soft and chewy Sweet and fine gummy
28:39 puppies Oho Divine their squishy texture
28:43 a joy to bite releases a burst of flavor
28:45 pure
28:48 delight you can
28:50 say make me a
28:54 product
28:56 photo photo
29:01 of a
29:03 plate of colorful gummy
29:11 puppies I think meta will keep most of
29:14 their stuff free to collect data exactly
29:16 most of their AI stuff I think so
29:20 too those don't look like gummy
29:24 puppies let's tell them that
29:29 they should be see-through like real
29:33 gummy
29:36 candies
29:40 period oh there we go that's fine the
29:44 other thing you can do with meta is you
29:46 click the animate button and it'll make
29:48 like a little
29:54 movie pretty shitty movie but you know
29:58 for for free not bad although they are
30:00 watermarked which is a pain in the
30:02 ass
30:12 um what was I going to go do I was going
30:14 to do something before I went to
30:16 meta what did I say I was going to
30:21 do yeah I don't like the water
30:23 mark now animate them I
30:26 did all right it does that to me too I
30:30 got to repeat the same word into the
30:32 microphone yeah they changed how that
30:34 speech to typing thing works on on OSX
30:38 and it's kind of shitty right now they
30:41 got to fix
30:43 it
30:46 um can I undo report harmful
30:51 content is there any way to
31:00 that's that's kind of disturbing well
31:02 let's animate that maybe it'll spin
31:07 it yeah
31:09 see it's like a wheel of gummy
31:16 puppies why why can't they just charge
31:19 users of small fee to use their
31:21 platforms that's
31:23 sustainable um I don't know who you're
31:26 talking about like meta you mean mean
31:28 rather than take all of your data cuz
31:30 your data is worth way more than the
31:33 they they would much rather have your
31:34 data than have your 20 bucks a month I
31:40 think cuz it's worth way more than
31:42 $20 can we still use the mid Journey bot
31:45 on the old AI Salon Discord yes yes we
31:49 can so if you go
31:53 to the old AI
31:56 Salon Discord oh look who did this Kendo
32:00 AI learning lab boat with a kitty on the
32:02 front that's pretty
32:05 cool um this is this is the mid Journey
32:08 channel in the AI Salon Discord so yes
32:10 you can so we can do slash
32:19 imagine a plate of carefully
32:24 arranged gummy puppies
32:33 with dramatic Studio
32:37 lighting that's
32:40 good I'm curious but but Elon
32:44 Musk ruined it when he bought it well
32:48 yeah it's still there
32:59 I keep sending chats with typos yeah the
33:03 these things don't mind
33:07 [Music]
33:09 typos I'm curious if they can make deep
33:11 fakes if who can make deep fakes
33:32 I'm going to upscale number
33:38 two and then I'm going to go upscale
33:42 creative those are cute little puppies
33:44 they kind of look like champ although
33:46 he's got he's got floppy ears they don't
33:48 have floppy ears
33:57 [Music]
34:05 [Music]
34:27 I well also seen people trying to make
34:29 clothing brands with AI image generators
34:33 too what's your take on that I'm
34:36 actually working working with a guy
34:38 right now who's who's creating a uh like
34:41 a t-shirt brand where you can generate
34:44 your own images for the
34:46 t-shirts um so I think that's fine um if
34:49 it's clothing brands doing like designs
34:52 you know for the runway and things like
34:53 that I actually think that's I think
34:56 it's one of the things I'm most excited
34:58 about with generative Ai and creative
35:02 professionals is the ones that I know
35:05 that are getting the most out of it are
35:06 using it as an ideation tool and I think
35:09 it's really really good at that so I I
35:12 love the idea of things starting out in
35:15 AI just coming out of people's
35:17 imaginations AI spins up the idea and
35:20 then they take it and recreate it in the
35:22 real world I think that's going to be a
35:24 big driver of innovation in the next
35:26 bunch of years
35:29 there's some nice
35:33 high high resolution high
35:36 quality imagery of gummy
35:40 puppies who knew gummy puppies
35:43 existed they do
35:50 [Music]
35:51 now it's going to be more how can I
35:55 create my employee check stubs with with
35:59 AI I don't know what you mean your
36:01 employee check
36:03 stubs now I'm craving gummy
36:06 puppies THC gummy
36:09 puppies can you try using it to make an
36:11 oil painting yeah of course here watch
36:15 oops oh did I just delete oh no I didn't
36:17 hang on let me go here and then I'll go
36:22 um we'll do let's
36:25 do copy link
36:30 let's do um slash
36:35 imagine
36:37 um
36:41 expressionist oil
36:46 painting of
36:49 a plate
36:51 of
36:55 colorful gummy p
37:01 and then we'll do we'll do
37:04 it I'm going to go Dash D AR stands for
37:07 aspect ratio and then I'm going to go
37:10 three or four colon
37:13 3 so it'll be sort of
37:16 a rectangular little painting of gummy
37:20 puppies
37:28 to run
37:29 payroll like from Excel or
37:32 spreadsheets
37:34 um you can potentially do that scop
37:37 University um using Code interpreter so
37:40 if you upload a CSV file you have to
37:42 have GPT 4 so you have to be a
37:45 subscriber to chat GPT plus the $20 a
37:48 month thing and then you can upload your
37:51 spreadsheet and it will analyze it the
37:54 problem is anything that's super
37:56 sensitive like say roll you probably
37:59 shouldn't be uploading to a commercial
38:02 entity like open AI cuz you know they're
38:05 potentially training on that data so
38:09 what would be more safe for something
38:11 like that is to get something like the
38:13 Llama 3 Model um and um run it locally
38:18 so that you're not up uploading
38:20 sensitive data somewhere else so you can
38:23 probably do that you can also go look go
38:26 to go check out um future pedia.com
38:47 [Music]
38:57 fullest extent on anything you can think
38:59 of yeah Joker that's the um that's the
39:04 the the thing to do right now and and to
39:08 be quite honest I am not I'm not good at
39:11 this there's a there's a term that I
39:13 heard called being AI native and the
39:15 basic idea is that you're AI native
39:19 when the first thing that you do when
39:22 you have a problem you need to solve is
39:24 use is is go to Ai and try to solve that
39:26 problem with AI every time every problem
39:30 um I'm probably at like
39:32 40% um I'm still it's just like old old
39:36 dog new tricks kind of stuff where you
39:38 know a problem comes up and I'm like I
39:39 know how to solve that I'll use my big
39:42 boy brain and and then you know when I'm
39:46 an hour into it realizing oh I probably
39:48 could have just done this with chat GPT
39:50 and I go use it on you know go to chat
39:52 GPT and I'm like oh that was better
39:54 right
39:56 so getting getting that mindset of of
40:00 learning these tools and and defaulting
40:04 to these tools is it's it's a powerful
40:07 thing um but it's going to take it's
40:09 going to take some practice so just be
40:11 in the practice why people come to this
40:14 live every night is for exactly that to
40:17 just keep being in the AI conversation
40:20 just keep reminding yourself oh I got to
40:21 learn stuff Lord digital Gods thank you
40:23 so much for the Roses you're always very
40:25 generous I appreciate that um
40:34 it the more I use this stuff the more I
40:37 learn about it the more I realize
40:41 that AI isn't just about efficiency of
40:45 the way we used to do things AI is about
40:49 doing things in radically new
40:51 ways and so you can take AI tools and
40:54 you can make automations and efficiency
40:57 tools
40:58 TOS to make the way you currently do
41:01 things
41:02 better but there's also ways that you
41:04 can use AI to completely rethink how you
41:07 currently do things and the only way to
41:10 shift that in your brain is to just try
41:13 [ __ ] and play and play and play and play
41:17 and
41:19 play I can't wait for AI to be able to
41:22 analyze a picture and then draw a new
41:25 design on it
41:31 you can sort of do that
41:35 now you can do that now in
41:39 Photoshop here
41:43 watch
41:46 um oh
41:51 Photoshop PHP that's not Photoshop
42:02 so what we're going to
42:04 do is we're going to go
42:07 to Mid
42:09 Journey there's our lovely little
42:11 painting of gummy bears
42:16 nice okay we're going to go slash
42:22 imagine Nat Geo photograph
42:28 of
42:31 a
42:35 river
42:37 running through a
42:41 narrow
42:46 Valley and then I'm going to go dash
42:48 dash AR
42:52 16 colon 9 I did AP hang on AR
43:01 invalid parameter which one was
43:04 invalid oh
43:07 16.0 hang on
43:38 crazy anyone that wants to run
43:43 payroll could you take a real photo of a
43:46 river rather than an AI River
43:50 sure let's go
43:54 to um
43:58 let's see
44:00 photo
44:02 of a river a of
44:05 a
44:11 narrow River
44:16 Valley
44:19 images all right let's get one
44:32 [Music]
44:34 here's a good
44:35 one all right
44:46 [Music]
44:48 so save image
44:53 as whatever that is and then we're going
44:56 to go to photo slop we're going to go
45:00 open and then I'm going to go find that
45:05 River there it
45:09 is and then I'm going to go
45:13 highlight and I'm going to highlight
45:15 this whole
45:19 area and I'm going to type
45:22 in
45:25 suspension bridge
45:32 for
45:34 um
45:54 pedestrians all right that looks like
45:56 [ __ ] that was not
46:02 bad it's crunchy because
46:06 um it's crunchy because the the image
46:09 that I got is really small but if I make
46:11 it
46:13 smaller there you go so we could say
46:16 let's do uh suspension
46:20 bridge um for
46:25 cars and truck
46:29 trucks and I'll do red suspension
46:48 bridge is it time to test llms to draw
46:51 the Gemini bear that's actually a pretty
46:53 cool Bridge right there
46:57 it's not really a suspension bridge but
46:59 that sort of looks like a bridge that
47:01 would be
47:05 there there you go and it even added a
47:09 non-accurate shadow underneath it or
47:11 reflection underneath it is this using
47:14 the paid version of Photoshop yeah this
47:16 is the paid version of Photoshop this is
47:17 just their generative fill so whenever
47:20 you make a selection in Photoshop now
47:23 you can do something so I could put you
47:26 know all do that I could say goodye
47:29 blimp Good year blimp and it probably
47:32 won't do it because I said Good Year and
47:34 that's someone else's trademark but
47:36 let's see if it does
47:39 it oh my I need this to be more accurate
47:42 on Mid Journey models wrong pus oh
47:48 no Ah that's
47:53 funny there's balloons it didn't do a
47:55 goodye blimp but it put some balloons in
47:57 the
47:59 distance those are pretty bad uh let's
48:02 do here you know what we can do down
48:04 here we'll put this in here and we'll do
48:08 um
48:09 School of giant
48:14 [Laughter]
48:18 [Music]
48:20 goldfish yeah derable I should have put
48:22 derable would it be weird to
48:25 ask you to try to get it to make a full
48:29 pattern
48:31 hoodie um no I mean how I would do a
48:34 full pattern hoodie if I were you Mr wck
48:37 is um go make go make the artwork first
48:42 and then just go to one of the print on
48:45 demand site that does you know full
48:48 garment print on demand and just you
48:50 know position the parts of your artwork
48:52 on the different pieces of the hoodie
49:01 let's see school
49:05 of
49:07 jumping jumping
49:10 goldfish splashing
49:23 [Music]
49:27 that's that is too large that is too
49:30 large
49:31 [Laughter]
49:33 Marge so like all of this
49:36 stuff this shit's
49:38 [Laughter]
49:41 janky how did the how did my mid
49:45 Journey River Valley come out they came
49:47 out pretty nice actually didn't
49:52 they now I think you can do in painting
49:55 and mid Journey
49:57 can't you I think you
50:00 can so if I click on this
50:04 no if I
50:06 do custom Zoom I got to upscale it first
50:09 so we'll do upscale
50:11 creative and then I think once it's
50:13 upscaled I think I can then do in
50:17 painting on it
50:28 what are we doing here I got a phone
50:29 call we're just uh I'm just sort of like
50:32 as people are asking questions I'm just
50:33 going and [ __ ] around I'm just
50:36 playing with AI you know like you
50:40 do just playing around just seeing if we
50:43 can get it to do [ __ ] yeah jeneric this
50:45 is this is a we're having we're I those
50:48 fish are huge we are having a janker
50:51 rific moment Kyle has the rabbit R1
50:54 arrived yet no if I had the rabbit R1
50:56 we'd be playing with
50:57 [Laughter]
51:02 it Mr it I have a question very region
51:05 yeah that's it very region was that up
51:08 here oh yeah there it
51:14 [Music]
51:17 is redo okay so let's do very
51:21 region very
51:24 region Okay so
51:27 drag and select the area to be
51:31 changed all right
51:36 there's when you're ready to
51:40 edit when you're ready edit the promp to
51:43 describe the new
51:44 image of a let's see of
51:48 a
51:51 suspension
51:53 bridge over
51:57 a river running through a narrow
52:00 Valley
52:02 boom all right let's see what we get
52:05 here people now in theory because mid
52:08 Journey doesn't suck this should be
52:11 better than what we got in Photoshop see
52:13 here's the deal
52:16 Adobe because they
52:19 trained their AI on public domain and um
52:24 Adobe stock images it doesn't have the
52:27 same quality as mid Journey which has
52:29 been trained on everything including
52:31 copywritten
52:33 work and so for a long time
52:37 um uh for a long time oh it didn't do it
52:43 fail
52:45 fail well no it's not a fail it put it
52:47 way in the
52:52 distance that one didn't exist this one
52:54 they're way in the distance there's
52:56 Bridges
52:59 though
53:01 um let me try it
53:05 again uh very region
53:27 of a suspension
53:33 bridge in the
53:38 foreground over a running
53:42 River let's see a suspension
53:46 bridge with cars on
53:52 it comma in the
53:55 foreground comma
53:58 do the commas make a difference I don't
54:02 know they make a difference in my
54:04 brain good night all thank you good
54:07 night Lori happy
54:11 Sunday I just thought of birds bees dang
54:14 no rabbit yet I think it'll come this
54:16 week I think they said the
54:17 24th so today's 21st so maybe
54:23 Thursday tomorrow is Sam alman's
54:25 birthday so there is a rumor running
54:27 around that we're going to get some new
54:29 fancy version of chat
54:30 GPT I doubt
54:33 it I think that's just people being
54:41 [Music]
54:43 speculative did it do
54:46 it nope didn't do it it got it a little
54:49 closer
55:00 H I don't know I don't know what I'm
55:03 doing in that
55:05 case the other thing you can do is you
55:07 can use you know the there's there's
55:09 also fun tools like Deco here where you
55:12 can make things really
55:15 quickly so let me go to app. deoh
55:19 here.com
55:27 and then I can upload a starting image
55:29 so we're going to upload
55:40 this okay oh wait upscale no I don't
55:43 want to upscale I want
55:47 to your starting image will generate in
55:50 real time
56:04 H I don't know what I'm doing here let's
56:07 see uh
56:14 suspension
56:16 bridge over a
56:21 river now let me see if I can upload my
56:24 starting image
56:33 daddy don't know what Daddy
56:35 doing Daddy's clu lose how to use this
56:39 tool but anyway you can just really
56:42 quickly say bridge over a river on in
56:45 this program and then you can turn any
56:47 of these into a movie so I can just go
56:50 upscale this
56:51 image and it'll do that and then I can
56:54 say generate a video
56:57 and it'll do that so now it's generating
56:59 two two little things
57:02 there let's see this is one I did which
57:05 one of these is the
57:07 movie one of these the
57:16 movie made that movie that cool Mustang
57:18 I like that
57:23 color what's that is that
57:31 excuse
57:34 me it didn't really make any movement
57:36 there that I can
57:38 see um let's see if I go up here and go
57:43 options Watermark safety
57:49 filter let's add video motion of nine
57:58 [Music]
58:06 this now upscales images which is kind
58:07 of
58:09 cool reuse
58:12 image turn that into a
58:22 [Music]
58:24 movie yeah there's a zoom that Zoom
58:26 that's sort of
58:27 zooming that sort of looks like
58:31 video I mean it's video it sort of looks
58:34 not
58:38 [Music]
58:39 horrible all
58:51 right what are we in tonight right now
58:54 I'm in Deco Here app . deoh here.
58:59 a I keep a document open and then update
59:02 the document and cut and paste into the
59:04 AI I that's how I work
59:09 John it would be nice if these AIS had
59:12 editing tools that were easy made it
59:15 easy for you to do that but I just open
59:17 like a Google dock or a Google
59:19 spreadsheet and just dump [ __ ] into it
59:20 or or uh notes on on the Mac
59:27 Tam sorry I had gummy
59:37 puppies I need to sell a GPT as a
59:40 channel as a canned
59:42 application how can I detach mine or the
59:45 customer
59:46 GPT um there's not an easy way to do
59:49 that what you're going to have to do Mr
59:50 it is actually build something using the
59:55 um open AI assistant
59:58 API which is basically the same tools
1:00:02 that you make a a custom GPT with on the
1:00:04 front end of chat GPT except you make it
1:00:07 with the API tool at uh platform.
1:00:12 open.com
1:00:13 playground and and choose the assistant
1:00:16 API back there and then basically you
1:00:18 have to make your own GPT that that
1:00:20 you'll publish to a website that's the
1:00:22 only way to detach it from an
1:00:25 account if it's a real pain in the balls
1:00:28 but that's where we are right now people
1:00:30 that's where we are that's where we are
1:00:32 let's go make some music come on all
1:00:35 right give me some ideas what kind of
1:00:37 song do you want to hear and what kind
1:00:38 of
1:00:44 [Music]
1:00:49 lyrics why is your abandoned Factory
1:00:52 always so similar must be more than one
1:00:55 old factory well so part of it to block
1:00:58 Tom is
1:00:59 that because I'm
1:01:03 um so what what Tom's asking about here
1:01:06 is when I make images like if I want to
1:01:09 test something like let's jump over to
1:01:11 meta and if if I want to test one of
1:01:14 these um image generation tools or just
1:01:18 yeah image generation tools I've got the
1:01:20 same prompt that I use all the time and
1:01:22 it's this
1:01:26 magazine photograph of a 7s muscle
1:01:31 car in an abandoned Factory with
1:01:34 sunlight streaming Through the Windows
1:01:38 period and then you know you make it and
1:01:40 it goes and does its thing and this is
1:01:43 this is one of the cool things with with
1:01:45 meta's AI is that they're using some of
1:01:46 that real-time technology so it was
1:01:49 making that thing as I was typing it but
1:01:52 because I always use essentially the
1:01:54 exact same phrase and I'm
1:01:56 I just say abandoned Factory if I said
1:01:59 an abandoned Factory that's been you
1:02:03 know in Soviet Russia that made um you
1:02:08 know nuclear power plants I'd get a very
1:02:11 different abandoned Factory than if I
1:02:13 just say General abandoned Factory so so
1:02:16 what the way the diffusion models work
1:02:18 is they're taking anything that's been
1:02:20 tagged abandoned Factory and and they're
1:02:23 they're sort of taking all the diffused
1:02:25 versions of of the images and kind of
1:02:27 smashing them together so what we're
1:02:29 getting is kind of the most
1:02:31 generic looking abandoned Factory
1:02:34 because I gave it a very generic prompt
1:02:36 if I made the prompt more specific like
1:02:38 I said there was Machinery hanging
1:02:40 around or there were hoists hanging from
1:02:42 the ceiling right if it were if it was
1:02:45 an you know actually let's try something
1:02:48 um
1:02:56 [Music]
1:03:01 I'm going to say magazine of a 70s
1:03:04 muscle car in an
1:03:07 abandoned automobile
1:03:12 Factory with sunlight streaming Through
1:03:15 the Windows through the broken
1:03:23 windows and
1:03:28 cables
1:03:30 dangling
1:03:32 from the assembly line from
1:03:36 the
1:03:38 decrepit is that how you spell
1:03:41 it I need Vicki in here decrep it no but
1:03:45 whatever uh assembly
1:03:51 line this should give us a very
1:03:53 different Factory
1:03:57 and that's it that it's a really it's
1:03:58 I'm really glad you asked the question
1:04:00 Tom because
1:04:04 it's like
1:04:06 here you've got very different machines
1:04:09 right and you've got some machine in the
1:04:10 foreground
1:04:14 here
1:04:17 um that one still looks pretty
1:04:23 generic this one's got different like
1:04:25 big big Hoy kind of machines like that
1:04:29 that looks right that looks appropriate
1:04:31 here's like [ __ ] you know there's cables
1:04:33 dangling from the ceiling let's animate
1:04:36 this
1:04:42 one there's your classic your classic um
1:04:47 diffusion models don't understand
1:04:49 physics this is one of the things that
1:04:51 Sora open ai's new video model
1:04:54 understands physics it understands how
1:04:56 the world works so Sora will be better
1:04:59 at doing things like making the wheels
1:05:00 move like if the if the if the car is
1:05:03 moving across the ground the wheels
1:05:06 should be moving right current diffusion
1:05:08 models don't get that the way Sora works
1:05:11 it actually understand and simulates the
1:05:13 real world so I think Sora would get
1:05:16 this correct where this
1:05:17 doesn't that's pretty
1:05:19 funny there's an embrace the Jank moment
1:05:26 oh that's so
1:05:28 funny let's animate this
1:05:32 one this would look cool if it were just
1:05:35 a zoom yeah there you go yeah see see
1:05:38 how you got the big the big piece of
1:05:40 factory something here in front of it
1:05:42 that's kind of
1:05:45 cool I don't know what kind of car that
1:05:47 is that's some
1:05:48 fictitious 1974 hot rod
1:05:52 but it's got some Mustangs some AMC
1:05:56 Javelin some Camaro some Mopar it's all
1:06:00 over the [ __ ]
1:06:05 place oh man all right let's go make
1:06:08 some music what kind of music do we want
1:06:10 to
1:06:13 [Music]
1:06:16 make big wheel keep on
1:06:19 turning proud M keep on burning
1:06:27 abandoned mechanic shop oh that would be
1:06:30 interesting yeah let's go do
1:06:39 that glossy magazine
1:06:42 photograph of a 70s
1:06:46 restomod muscle
1:06:48 car in an
1:06:50 abandon mechanics
1:06:54 garage with toolbox
1:07:00 is open and falling apart and
1:07:04 sunline
1:07:06 sunshine streaming through the broken
1:07:15 windows it's very slick flooring the
1:07:18 brakes locked up on you Kyle yeah
1:07:20 exactly the car is just sliding into the
1:07:23 factory yeah that one see that one's
1:07:25 good right so there's your there's your
1:07:27 toolboxes your abandoned
1:07:30 toolboxes that's another fictitious
1:07:32 weird ass
1:07:34 car that's sort of a
1:07:39 Firebird this one this one's Camaro like
1:07:42 that's like 67 Camaro front
1:07:47 end but with like a it's like a Dodge a
1:07:50 Dodge rear fender that's funny but let's
1:07:53 let's go to that one we'll animate this
1:07:54 one and see what it does
1:07:57 this should be a rotating yeah there you
1:08:01 go yeah that's pretty slick that's not
1:08:04 bad
1:08:13 [Music]
1:08:26 oh Tams okay now I get it I thought the
1:08:30 email gave me Sora credits for [ __ ]
1:08:32 sake not sunno it gave you suo credits
1:08:35 yes nobody has Sora credits right now
1:08:38 well a handful of filmmakers have Sora
1:08:40 credits right now but very few people
1:08:41 have Sora credits right
1:08:44 now it's really
1:08:50 funny that's pretty good
1:08:57 [Music]
1:09:00 what else you want to see since we're in
1:09:02 since we're in demo mode what do you
1:09:04 want to
1:09:07 see anything stumping you anything
1:09:10 burning a hole in your credit
1:09:19 pocket Frank we could do Frank what kind
1:09:21 of coffee uh it's Sprouts breakfast
1:09:25 blend
1:09:27 it's
1:09:32 fancy oh it's tasty
1:09:42 actually I'm kind of digging
1:09:45 that that muscle car animation best tool
1:09:48 for adding animation to an avatar image
1:09:51 to get it to speak I think that right
1:09:54 now
1:09:56 let's go do two of
1:09:58 them do you want it do you want it to be
1:10:00 Dr bod do you want it how can you drink
1:10:02 coffee so late because I have ADHD and
1:10:04 it actually calms me down it focuses
1:10:07 me
1:10:09 um it funny the first time when I was
1:10:12 first diagnosed with ADHD in my
1:10:15 30s she gave me whatever the [ __ ] they
1:10:19 give uh what's it called Aderall she
1:10:23 gave me Aderall she goes go take this
1:10:25 for a week and then come back and tell
1:10:27 me how you
1:10:29 felt I was
1:10:31 like I said I took ader all and I felt
1:10:34 it made me feel relaxed and she goes
1:10:36 yeah you have ADHD so so stimulants in
1:10:40 me cocaine when I when I did Coke when I
1:10:43 was in in New York in the 80s I did a
1:10:45 little bit of coke and that got got me
1:10:48 all rammy and ampy and I would like I
1:10:50 would sort of like grip my hands and
1:10:51 things like
1:10:53 that but but just you know like normal
1:10:56 doses of of
1:10:58 uh like Aderall and [ __ ] like that it
1:11:01 actually focuses me I'm not on any of
1:11:02 that [ __ ] anymore Aderall or
1:11:05 anything put the car in a prehistoric
1:11:08 time that's kind of fun
1:11:19 idea
1:11:23 glossy Automotive
1:11:26 magazine
1:11:30 photograph of a
1:11:33 1970s Resto
1:11:37 mod
1:11:41 GTO in a
1:11:44 prehistoric
1:11:47 jungle with flying reptiles and
1:11:50 dinosaurs
1:11:59 that's pretty cool a Mustang would be
1:12:03 good working on to five what a way to
1:12:07 make
1:12:11 living their photographic isn't all that
1:12:13 photographic is
1:12:19 it this is sort of like Dolly quality
1:12:24 it's like Dolly 2 .5
1:12:27 quality not
1:12:30 great this one I bet you could get
1:12:32 something really cool in mid Journey
1:12:33 with
1:12:34 though oh hey Jen hey Jen and gooey. a I
1:12:39 don't know gooey. a blending live action
1:12:42 with cartoon action is posing problems
1:12:44 tool
1:12:48 recommendation oh like you want to do it
1:12:50 in the same thing yeah that's going to
1:12:52 be a pain in the ass what I would do
1:12:59 I would check out
1:13:07 um I I would check
1:13:10 out live age
1:13:12 restricted I said something that
1:13:14 apparently kids can't
1:13:17 hear so so we're now live age
1:13:22 restricted don't forget the flux
1:13:24 capacitor
1:13:26 [Laughter]
1:13:35 [Music]
1:13:41 so Dr bod do you want when when you're
1:13:44 doing I've created an image on Dolly and
1:13:46 now I want the image to speak to a
1:13:48 script Dr bod do you want do you want to
1:13:50 speak do you want to create the script
1:13:51 ahead of time or do you want it to
1:13:54 generate the The Voice for
1:14:02 you oh I said oh I I said I said the
1:14:07 name of a drug that was not
1:14:12 prescription I am a bad boy generate the
1:14:15 voice okay so we'll go to D- ID
1:14:19 first so D-
1:14:23 ID um oh then before we do that I got to
1:14:27 go to chat
1:14:30 JPay my session expired I do
1:14:45 [Music]
1:14:54 declare okay okay
1:14:58 um let's see what do you want the voice
1:15:00 to talk about Dr bod give me a
1:15:09 [Music]
1:15:19 subject VP of questions joined good name
1:15:23 a skin condition for example
1:15:27 um
1:15:29 okay write me a short 30 second
1:15:33 script
1:15:35 for an
1:15:39 hcp
1:15:41 explaining
1:15:43 psoriasis to a patient that was newly
1:15:45 diagnosed
1:16:06 stop okay there's our script so we have
1:16:09 a script now let's go to D-
1:16:13 ID where did I put
1:16:17 that it's
1:16:20 nowhere oh here it is D- ID okay uh um
1:16:26 log
1:16:27 in I think I even have a
1:16:31 doctor although I think I think my
1:16:33 doctor's over
1:16:36 in let's see
1:16:39 studio studio
1:16:43 create create a
1:16:45 video all right this this guy this guy
1:16:48 sort of looks like a doctor
1:16:56 okay upload yours okay so we got that so
1:16:59 emotions neutral
1:17:03 serious yeah we'll do
1:17:06 serious and movements natural or
1:17:10 lively that's interesting this is
1:17:14 new all right and then the
1:17:16 voice hey nice to meet you what do you
1:17:20 think of my voice uh I think it doesn't
1:17:23 match my face
1:17:25 allow the world to live as it chooses
1:17:28 and allow yourself to live as you
1:17:30 choose hey nice to meet
1:17:33 you hey nice to meet you that's pretty
1:17:37 good hey nice to meet you okay so we're
1:17:41 going to choose
1:17:41 [Music]
1:17:43 Andrew and then script I'm going to
1:17:47 paste in my
1:17:50 script I understand receiving a new
1:17:52 diagnosis can be overwhelming so so
1:17:55 let's talk about what psoriasis actually
1:17:57 is okay
1:18:07 background I guess I have to have
1:18:11 a I have to have a see-through if you
1:18:13 have a see-through image you can change
1:18:14 the
1:18:15 background and
1:18:18 text
1:18:21 um well no we're not going to do any
1:18:23 text
1:18:25 all right so let's get rid of that and
1:18:28 then let's have this dude generate
1:18:32 video let's
1:18:35 go and that's going to go off and make a
1:18:38 video Untitled video did is this
1:18:41 one I think it's important for the lines
1:18:43 of the house to uh match the uh
1:18:47 surroundings all right this is I did
1:18:49 Frank Lloyd Wright a couple of weeks ago
1:18:53 this is this is my my uh my bad acting
1:18:56 of Frank Lloyd
1:18:58 Wright I think it's important for the
1:19:00 lines of the house to uh match the uh
1:19:04 surroundings and integrate seamlessly
1:19:08 with nature and uh I like furniture that
1:19:11 looks amazing but is uncomfortable to
1:19:14 sit on I don't think people should be
1:19:16 comfortable I think they should be
1:19:18 inspired to get up and go out in nature
1:19:22 which is represented by these very large
1:19:24 windows
1:19:25 and the lamp is just
1:19:28 [Laughter]
1:19:31 nice all right I understand receiving a
1:19:33 new diagnosis can be overwhelming so
1:19:36 let's talk about what psoriasis actually
1:19:38 is psoriasis is a chronic condition
1:19:41 primarily of the skin it's caused by an
1:19:44 overactive immune system that speeds up
1:19:46 skin cell production leading to Red
1:19:48 scaly patches that can be itchy or sore
1:19:51 these patches are most commonly found on
1:19:53 the elbows knees scalp and lower back
1:19:56 but can appear anywhere on the
1:19:59 body I understand the world's most
1:20:02 disturbing
1:20:09 doctor it like somehow elongated my
1:20:12 forehead even further and gave me like
1:20:14 Asian eyes and and like my face is
1:20:17 crooked it's a
1:20:19 mess thanks Dr Kyle you're welcome I I'm
1:20:23 glad I could help with this diagnosis
1:20:25 and breaking the news to you gently
1:20:27 about your
1:20:28 psoriasis but let me I want to try
1:20:30 something here let's go make another
1:20:34 video let's go get a let's go do a
1:20:36 different script too so we'll do
1:20:40 uh um now make a
1:20:46 script let's see
1:20:49 a short single paragraph
1:21:00 where
1:21:04 someone
1:21:08 describes their
1:21:11 new
1:21:15 product gummy
1:21:22 puppies our latest Delight gummy puppies
1:21:26 combines the joy of playful puppy shapes
1:21:29 with the mouthwatering flavors of
1:21:30 classic gummies all right that's good so
1:21:35 let's grab
1:21:37 that let's go back to
1:21:41 D- hey Jen is the other one that I would
1:21:48 use we'll have we'll have Pixar Kyle
1:21:51 here's Pixar Kyle but we're going to go
1:21:54 movements live
1:21:56 and we're going to do
1:21:58 happy and then
1:22:03 script we'll paste that
1:22:08 in and let's
1:22:12 go logic will get you from A to B
1:22:16 imagination will take you
1:22:21 everywhere hey nice to meet you
1:22:30 hey nice to meet you what do you think
1:22:32 of
1:22:36 my hey nice to meet you what do you
1:22:40 think of my
1:22:41 voice Connor Irish hey nice to meet you
1:22:46 what do you think of my voice I don't
1:22:48 think it sounds very Irish
1:22:52 Connor hey nice to meet you
1:22:56 what do you think of my
1:22:58 voice a man is not old as long as he's
1:23:00 seeking
1:23:02 something hey nice to meet you the other
1:23:05 thing you can do with these is you can
1:23:07 record your own
1:23:08 script hey nice to meet
1:23:12 you hey nice to meet
1:23:15 you hey nice to meet you what do you
1:23:19 think of my
1:23:22 voice hey nice to meet you what do you
1:23:26 think of my voice I hate them
1:23:28 all hey nice to meet you what do you
1:23:32 think of

1:29:47 this channel has not been good for my my
1:29:49 monthly
1:29:51 subscription uh problem all right
1:29:55 so I actually like her walking in the
1:29:57 natural environment like that let's see
1:30:01 M full screen

1:30:14 see what it does introducing the Dead

1:31:04 [Music]
1:31:31 [Music]
1:31:36 try the paragraph with yudo spoken word
1:31:39 oh that's not a bad
1:31:47 idea why is this taking so long
1:32:00 introducing the Dead Sea exfoliating bar
1:32:03 soap for all right so we're going to
1:32:05 submit this now and it's going to go
1:32:08 make us a
1:32:10 video so while it's making that
1:32:14 video back to home
1:32:17 okay let's go to yudo so udio ud.com
1:32:24 is
1:32:26 a let's see we're GNA
1:32:30 go social media
1:32:34 influencer talking
1:32:37 enthusiastically about a
1:32:41 product and then I'm going to put in
1:32:49 oops oh wait where did I
1:32:58 where did I get that
1:33:03 script oh I
1:33:08 didn't can I click on
1:33:18 this I can't edit it right now
1:33:28 let's go
1:33:30 try let's
1:33:33 see write a 30 second influencer script
1:33:39 for this product
1:33:55 make it longer and a bit more detailed
1:33:57 talking about the benefits as an
1:34:02 influencer might
1:34:16 say
1:34:20 perfect all
1:34:22 right so let's go to you
1:34:40 studio all right let's see how see how
1:34:44 yudo does this now okay she's not quite
1:34:47 ready yet so udio will probably be oh I
1:34:50 didn't put it in manual mode hang on
1:34:54 okay so in udio if you want to do
1:34:56 something as spoken word so I didn't do
1:34:59 two things here you've got to say spoken
1:35:04 word I
1:35:06 think
1:35:08 oops
1:35:11 spoken
1:35:14 word and then you've got
1:35:18 to put it in manual
1:35:21 mode why did it not generate
1:35:32 that moderation
1:35:33 [Music]
1:35:37 error modify your
1:35:40 prompt so we'll probably get that again
1:35:42 so let's
1:35:44 see oh maybe I can't say a specific
1:35:47 treatment hey everyone if you're dealing
1:35:50 with well let's maybe this other one can
1:35:54 do
1:36:05 it yep it did
1:36:10 it that's
1:36:15 weird hey everyone if you're dealing
1:36:18 with psorisis you've got to check out
1:36:21 mg217 tsoris treatment
1:36:30 B hey everyone if you're dealing with
1:36:32 psorasis you got to check out mg2 wo and
1:36:35 titing psorasis treatment is packed with
1:36:37 natural Dead Sea that's really bad it's
1:36:40 not
1:36:41 usable let's see how she
1:36:46 does such garbage some of this
1:36:49 stuff introducing the Dead Sea
1:36:52 exfoliating bar soap for psoriasis skin
1:36:55 care handmade in Israel this unique soap
1:36:58 combines the power of dead sea salts mud
1:37:01 and minerals to cleanse and condition
1:37:03 your psoriatic skin moisturizing and
1:37:07 restorative it helps fight seic
1:37:09 dermatitis and gently lifts away dead
1:37:11 skin cells revealing softer healthier
1:37:15 skin enriched with essential oils Aloe
1:37:18 Vera and Vitamin E it's perfect for
1:37:21 daily use as part of your psoriasis
1:37:23 treatment
1:37:24 regimen join the ranks of women
1:37:27 professionals teenagers what's
1:37:29 interesting is the this product had
1:37:32 crappy um product photos and no videos
1:37:36 so the this system didn't have anything
1:37:39 really good to pull in andalous
1:37:41 individuals who trust theas Dead Sea
1:37:44 like the
1:37:46 flip it's time to let your skin
1:37:50 shine well you know so anyway we're in a
1:37:53 world where influencers are going to be
1:37:55 Hawking all sorts of
1:37:57 [Laughter]
1:38:06 products oh
1:38:10 man uh yudo is like sunno but it's it's
1:38:14 better it's higher quality music and
1:38:15 it's it's just it's better in a lot of
1:38:17 different ways she's not so sure exactly
1:38:21 she she was like the least influential
1:38:22 influencer I've ever seen what does udio
1:38:25 do
1:38:30 okay we're going to go I'm just going to
1:38:33 roll the
1:38:35 dice a song
1:38:38 about oh this is fun a curse that haunts
1:38:41 a family I'm going to do autogenerated
1:38:44 lyrics I'm not going to put it in manual
1:38:47 mode
1:38:57 I'm going to put it in auto mode so what
1:39:00 manual mode does is it doesn't add to
1:39:03 the to the
1:39:05 prompt I do want it to add to the prompt
1:39:08 because I just want it to generate so
1:39:09 this is just going to be a song about a
1:39:11 curse that haunts a family let's say uh
1:39:16 let's say
1:39:18 um pop
1:39:22 folk and then I'm going to have it
1:39:23 autogenerate the lyricss and then I'm
1:39:25 just going to create the song and so
1:39:27 it's it's writing the lyrics writing the
1:39:30 music picking a singer having the singer
1:39:32 sing the song and mixing it all now it's
1:39:35 not actually doing those in an order
1:39:37 like that that's how a human would do it
1:39:40 um it's
1:39:41 just like Play-Doh squirting out a song
1:39:45 out of a this is this is effectively
1:39:47 like a music diffusion model for lack of
1:39:49 a better
1:39:51 term kind of this is kind of
1:39:54 how images are generated but this is
1:39:57 with music as the data instead of
1:40:09 images are there any legal ramifications
1:40:12 for using people's images without their
1:40:14 permission yeah but in the case of those
1:40:17 ones on haen those are from haen those
1:40:20 are their models so I assume they have
1:40:23 cut deals with those particular people
1:40:26 but here's the deal like you're going to
1:40:28 be able to generate a generated person
1:40:31 who who has never existed in the world
1:40:33 and you're going to be able to use their
1:40:34 image we're not quite there yet but
1:40:36 we're getting close anyway
1:40:39 here's a song about a curse that haunts
1:40:41 a family pop
1:40:43 [Music]
1:40:46 folk roots are bound by a whispered
1:40:51 curse if we linger we feel the wor
1:40:56 Shadows cling to our name in The Silence
1:41:01 in
1:41:02 [Music]
1:41:05 the
1:41:07 c
1:41:08 c okay let's see Pop folk isn't right
1:41:11 we'll do we'll do
1:41:15 folk
1:41:16 ballad acoustic
1:41:26 the other nice thing about udio right
1:41:28 now is it's free and they give you 600
1:41:30 Generations a month so that's 1,200
1:41:33 songs CU it does two sh two songs at a
1:41:35 pop so it's a there's you can really
1:41:39 experiment with this and really figure
1:41:41 out how to play with it the other nice
1:41:43 thing about udio is it's got a little
1:41:45 bit of structure to it so it's it's
1:41:47 generating songs 30 seconds at a time
1:41:50 but you can either add an intro a
1:41:53 section before before the section you're
1:41:54 on a section after the section you're on
1:41:56 or an outro so you can just keep
1:41:59 extending for 30 second chunks with like
1:42:01 additional lyrics or or things like that
1:42:06 um musical breaks you know all sorts of
1:42:09 stuff and it just cranks that [ __ ]
1:42:15 out there's a whisper winding around the
1:42:19 hall through the bloodline Shadows they
1:42:22 do crawl sounds like suzan
1:42:26 Vega doesn't it early Suzanne
1:42:30 Vega The Haunt of our kin folk cursed
1:42:34 days cursed nights leave us no more
1:42:38 Generations plead
1:42:41 [Music]
1:42:45 byes that was pretty
1:42:50 [Music]
1:42:51 good Whispers hunt the
1:42:54 that's [ __ ] horrible all right so
1:42:55 let's do we'll extend this one and I'm
1:42:58 going to add an intro to it and so I'll
1:43:00 just say extend and it's just going to
1:43:03 automatically add an
1:43:05 intro and I don't think it'll use
1:43:09 lyrics it might I don't
1:43:15 know right but my concern would
1:43:22 be if a company just wanted to use I
1:43:25 don't know say Hank Green to endorse a
1:43:27 product Oh it's bork um yeah
1:43:31 Doughboy so so you are right to be
1:43:34 concerned about companies just taking um
1:43:38 celebrities and having them fake
1:43:41 endorsed products YouTube is full of
1:43:45 those videos already this gets back to
1:43:48 earlier in the conversation we were
1:43:49 talking about the value of web 3 and
1:43:52 tokenization and and blockchain and
1:43:54 things like that um to identify people's
1:43:57 identities because I think we're going
1:43:59 to see
1:44:01 increasing uses of people without their
1:44:04 permission um yes it is absolutely a
1:44:06 problem if you make a fake person it's
1:44:08 not a problem if you make you know Hank
1:44:11 Green endorsing your product and Hank
1:44:13 Green didn't really endorse it that's
1:44:15 that's shitty and he'll sue you but it's
1:44:17 so easy to do it that you're just going
1:44:19 to see it you we're just going to see a
1:44:21 lot of it I think
1:44:24 so yes wow Neato I didn't know it was
1:44:27 ubiquitous already yeah it's it's pretty
1:44:30 much out there there's there's yeah all
1:44:33 sorts of stuff in fact what did I see
1:44:34 today Drake is recording a song with
1:44:37 Tupac with an AI version of Tupac it's
1:44:41 kind of
1:44:45 interesting the night when the wind is
1:44:48 still ancestors voes they speak of ill
1:44:53 bird and and heavy on our souls it
1:44:55 praise lingering sorrow that never
1:45:00 decays that's kind of cool all Within
1:45:03 These Walls secrets are stored we feel
1:45:07 the chill of the Fate they can't
1:45:16 afford there's
1:45:20 AIS through the blood Doughboy I wonder
1:45:23 if any court has addressed any of this
1:45:25 yet uh well I I think there have been
1:45:29 cease and desist you know orders the the
1:45:32 there was a song put out that was Drake
1:45:35 in the weekend was it
1:45:38 Drake I think it was Drake in the
1:45:40 weekend and it got like 600,000 views on
1:45:43 Spotify or listens and then they they
1:45:46 had Spotify pull that down so you're
1:45:47 starting to see things like that um I
1:45:49 think the next 20 years are just going
1:45:51 to be nothing but lawsuits I think the
1:45:53 the the lawyers are very happy right now
1:45:56 just like political ads started adding
1:45:58 and I approve of this message we'll have
1:46:01 to add and this is not AI generated yeah
1:46:03 exactly um I want to go back I want to
1:46:06 just add an instrumental to the
1:46:08 beginning of this this the one yeah so
1:46:11 I'm going to say extend I'm going to add
1:46:13 an intro but I'm just going to click
1:46:15 instead of autogenerated where it'll
1:46:17 generate lyrics I'm just going to say
1:46:19 instrumental
1:46:25 yeah that's
1:46:38 good Drake's voice the weekends
1:46:42 using yeah using their voices in lyrics
1:46:45 yep yeah there's the George Carlin yeah
1:46:47 the cease and desist on the George
1:46:50 George Carlin I was I was dead or the
1:46:52 I'm dead I'm the the hourong George
1:46:54 Carlin album so the the George Carlin
1:46:58 estate sued that guy to pull that thing
1:47:02 down
1:47:04 um but at some point someone's going to
1:47:06 do something like that and it's going to
1:47:08 be good and it's going to make money and
1:47:10 that estate instead of suing them will
1:47:12 say hey let's split the money let's cut
1:47:14 a deal
1:47:17 [Music]
1:47:29 [Applause]
1:47:36 we so I
1:47:41 [Music]
1:47:43 have I don't that's that those were not
1:47:46 words
1:47:57 [Music]
1:48:04 [Applause]
1:48:10 out me I
1:48:15 life
1:48:19 land that's really funny those are
1:48:21 really bad
1:48:25 I kind of like this song I'd like to
1:48:27 turn it into a song but let's
1:48:31 [Music]
1:48:35 [Applause]
1:48:37 see there's a whisper all right so let's
1:48:40 extend this and we'll we'll add a
1:48:43 section
1:48:44 after we'll autogenerate More
1:48:47 lyrics and let's just make it
1:48:50 longer that way cuz the the in
1:48:53 instrumental only on the intro was kind
1:48:55 of [ __ ] it
1:49:12 up I don't think we've really
1:49:14 contemplated what's about to happen in
1:49:17 totality this is going to be nuts
1:49:19 Doughboy I like not only have we not
1:49:21 contemplated it I I think most
1:49:26 people do not
1:49:29 know not what's coming what's already
1:49:33 here like the fact that I can take any
1:49:36 video of me speaking English I can now
1:49:38 translate that in video with me talking
1:49:43 with appropriate um dialects in 70
1:49:47 languages in 150 different dialects I
1:49:51 can do that right now today
1:49:56 people don't know that this is here the
1:49:58 the fact that I can take those you know
1:50:01 take that product URL and turn it into
1:50:03 an influencer video and stick that up on
1:50:06 on Tik Tok or Instagram people people
1:50:09 don't know that's here um it's not that
1:50:12 this technology is coming it's that this
1:50:14 technology is here and no one knows
1:50:16 about it so yeah not only are we not
1:50:20 have we not contemplated it I think most
1:50:22 people think we've got 5 years until
1:50:26 this stuff starts showing
1:50:28 up and it's it's so much sooner than
1:50:32 [Applause]
1:50:34 that there's
1:50:36 AIS I mean not for nothing this song
1:50:39 that I'm playing right now like my my
1:50:41 total input on this was click roll the
1:50:44 dice and now I'm just sort of you know
1:50:47 generating again and again and again
1:50:48 until I get something I like right this
1:50:51 is a curation
1:50:53 exercise not a not a creation
1:51:00 exercise CW dark curse release us we
1:51:07 implore deed is the tale The Haunt of
1:51:10 our kin folk cursed days cursed nights
1:51:14 leave us no more Generations plead by
1:51:18 the fire sides glow

1:51:37 away here our ancestors their voices in
1:51:40 the floor flickering candles Tales of

1:51:49 hope we seek Lord we decode
1:51:57 [Music]
1:52:01 that was
1:52:06 okay see we aren't totally blown away
1:52:08 because we've kind of been here a
1:52:10 while but tell someone what we're doing
1:52:13 yeah exactly people are freaked out by
1:52:15 this stuff and that's listen the the
1:52:17 whole point of this channel
1:52:20 is this stuff's here whether we want it
1:52:22 or not it's not going away whether we
1:52:24 want it to or not and so My Philosophy
1:52:28 is well you might as well at least learn
1:52:31 what these tools are you can then choose
1:52:34 to participate or not to whatever extent
1:52:38 but I think it's I think it's anyone who
1:52:40 is
1:52:41 actively ignoring this stuff or actively
1:52:44 you know saying you know just on
1:52:46 principle I'm not going to deal with
1:52:47 this stuff well they're going to deal
1:52:49 with it they're just going to be dealing
1:52:51 with it you know
1:52:54 as a consequence rather than you know
1:52:56 having some some sense of control over
1:52:59 their
1:53:00 [Applause]
1:53:02 Destiny there's a whisper winding
1:53:14 m in the Attic where secret come to play

1:53:35 seek Lord we
1:53:38 decode all right we'll take this
1:53:41 one and then we'll go add
1:53:46 outro extend
1:53:55 [Music]
1:53:58 what a time to be alive I know it's
1:54:00 crazy right ignorance breeds fear it
1:54:03 does that that's the thing I got to say
1:54:06 that that as as powerful and profound as
1:54:08 this AI stuff is when you actually use
1:54:12 it and you get how imperfect it is and
1:54:14 you get how janky it
1:54:18 is and you get how empowering it is as a
1:54:22 human to be able to sort of upskill your
1:54:27 talents
1:54:28 um it's a it's a hell of a lot less
1:54:31 scary than than sitting on the
1:54:40 outside world is ending due to climate
1:54:43 change and the band plays
1:54:47 on oh did that finish that
1:54:50 already no wait
1:54:53 I thought I added
1:54:56 a oh I know what I did I kind of screwed
1:54:59 up hang on so this was the
1:55:04 one okay so we're going to extend this
1:55:06 one outro autogenerated extend
1:55:11 okay I basically just extended I had a I
1:55:14 had a minute long clip and
1:55:17 I I had a 30 second clip that I extended
1:55:20 to a minute and then I thought I was
1:55:21 extending it to a minute 30 but I was
1:55:23 just extending the previous 30 to a
1:55:26 minute whatever it doesn't matter I did
1:55:27 the wrong thing
1:55:34 [Music]
1:55:45 [Music]
1:55:56 [Music]
1:56:00 all
1:56:02 [Applause]
1:56:04 [Music]
1:56:08 right light that's the secrets F they
1:56:12 cut the silence
1:56:14 [Music]
1:56:15 stories fearful
1:56:20 inheritance sung soft in the night the
1:56:23 curse of Arin through dimly lit years
1:56:27 the Sorrows worn thin their
1:56:32 [Music]
1:56:36 Whispers wait what did I do did I screw
1:56:38 up again I might
1:56:41 [Music]
1:56:46 [Applause]
1:56:49 have extend I know I did it right at an
1:56:53 outro all right let's go see what this
1:56:55 one
1:56:56 [Applause]
1:56:57 [Music]
1:56:59 did by candle light we trace the Arcane
1:57:03 seal seek to break the endless Spinning
1:57:07 Wheel spirits of the past Grant the
1:57:10 closure we yearn
1:57:13 for in our home where Echo softly walk
1:57:17 speak the words to unravel the lock bows
1:57:21 of Silence now we forever
1:57:30 roke it didn't end we're supposed to
1:57:33 have an outro interesting add outro
1:57:39 instrumental try that um question from
1:57:44 Doughboy
1:57:49 was what are your favorite most used
1:57:52 model so far chat GPT for
1:57:56 sure I use clot a
1:57:59 lot I use I've been using Gemini 1.5 Pro
1:58:03 now um for image generation Dolly 3 and
1:58:07 chat GPT is probably the one I use most
1:58:09 mid Journey
1:58:11 second and then using the Avatar
1:58:14 generators I use them way more than I
1:58:16 use
1:58:18 um like Runway to just do animations
1:58:23 I have an idea can you image the lyrics
1:58:26 for the Titanic band was playing while
1:58:28 it was sinking yeah you could do that
1:58:30 you could totally do
1:58:32 [Applause]
1:58:33 [Music]
1:58:34 [Applause]
1:58:35 [Music]
1:58:41 that
1:58:43 [Music]
1:58:47 weird the SE on theing WE life see those
1:58:52 aren't
1:58:53 words so what I did was I extended it I
1:58:56 said extend it to an outro and make it
1:58:58 instrumental only and I think because
1:59:00 there were lyrics before it it's just
1:59:03 sort of like thinking that the lyrics
1:59:05 were instrumental it's
1:59:11 weird but I think this one ended kind of
1:59:13 cool
1:59:17 [Music]
1:59:17 [Applause]
1:59:27 okay this one so we going to go extend
1:59:29 at outro
1:59:31 autogenerated oh wait maybe if I do
1:59:35 custom let's just write good
1:59:40 night good
1:59:45 night sweet curse
1:59:53 all
1:59:56 right that might do it let's give it
1:59:59 some words to say and make him short and
2:00:03 tell it to end the [ __ ]
2:00:05 [Laughter]
2:00:09 song I'm kind of rooting for Mankind's
2:00:12 continuity only because I'm currently
2:00:15 part of it I'm definitely rooting for
2:00:17 Mankind's continuity I you know I I you
2:00:20 may think I'm weird I think that is as
2:00:23 good a chance that AI ends up being
2:00:27 incredibly positive for Humanity I think
2:00:29 there's an equal chance potentially
2:00:32 greater than it ends up [ __ ]
2:00:34 everything
2:00:37 up I just I get to witness on this
2:00:41 channel and in the AI Salon I get to
2:00:42 witness a lot of
2:00:44 people discovering you know remarkable
2:00:48 new talents and
2:00:50 passions and freeing themselves from
2:00:52 whatever the tyranny of was what they
2:00:54 were doing before was so I I think
2:00:57 there's a a very a very real possibility
2:01:00 this this makes people better but we'll
2:01:03 [Applause]
2:01:08 see good
2:01:15 night sweet
2:01:19 curse that's trippy
2:01:26 [Music]
2:01:37 that's kind of cool at least that
2:01:39 [Applause]
2:01:40 [Music]
2:01:46 ended V
2:01:49 [Music]
2:01:50 [Laughter]
2:01:51 [Music]
2:01:56 good night sweet Cur
2:02:02 fre
2:02:05 [Laughter]
2:02:07 speaking all right that was a fail okay
2:02:11 all right so I'll put a heart by this
2:02:13 one let's listen to listen to the end
2:02:16 [Music]
2:02:19 again good night
2:02:27 sweet
2:02:29 [Music]
2:02:47 curse all right let's do one one other
2:02:49 thing let's
2:02:52 okay we'll come back well wait let me
2:02:54 download that so let me go grab
2:02:57 that download download
2:03:02 audio okay so we have an MP3 so let's go
2:03:05 let's go here and let's make
2:03:10 um actually let me go to I'm going to do
2:03:12 the web web version of mid Journey just
2:03:15 because it's easier for my
2:03:17 brain um Mid
2:03:20 Journey mid Journey
2:03:22 my journey my journey so let's
2:03:29 see
2:03:40 um distressed
2:03:45 photograph of an ethereal
2:03:49 ghostly woman standing in a
2:03:59 fi with an abandoned wooden house behind
2:04:06 her with broken
2:04:09 windows uhoh what just
2:04:13 happened did my machine just restart the
2:04:17 hell just
2:04:20 happened doing a song about a curse and
2:04:23 my machine just just
2:04:31 goes that's pretty
2:04:35 funny don't be [ __ ] with family
2:04:37 [Laughter]
2:04:43 curses all right
2:04:54 is that nervous laughter Kyle no it's
2:04:56 fine everything's G to be
2:05:01 fine sorry my apps glitchy as [ __ ] yeah
2:05:04 I
2:05:06 know
2:05:09 [Music]
2:05:15 um all right your computer restarted
2:05:17 because of a problem oh I'm very well
2:05:19 aware of that
2:05:22 do I have Photoshop here let me quit
2:05:24 that don't
2:05:30 [Music]
2:05:38 [Music]
2:05:45 save do I want that one or do I want
2:05:47 that one I want that one restore all
2:05:50 tabs yeah I know all these tab tabs open
2:05:52 is why my machine's crashing I don't
2:05:54 want to hear
2:05:55 it You tab shamers there's no tab
2:05:58 shaming in the AI learning lab
2:06:01 okay all right so we're going to do
2:06:05 a vertical
2:06:08 image with weirdness stylization we're
2:06:11 going to do weird yeah that's good okay
2:06:13 I'm going to
2:06:17 do distressed
2:06:24 photographic
2:06:26 portrait of an ethereal
2:06:36 woman with an abandoned wooden house
2:06:40 behind
2:06:41 her period She Looks into the
2:06:47 camera and the colors of the image are
2:06:50 faded
2:06:55 let's see what we get out of
2:06:58 that we're going to go make her sing
2:07:00 we're going to go make a a pop
2:07:06 star I get great shame when I go from 30
2:07:09 to 200 plus in a night that's a lot of
2:07:11 rabbit
2:07:13 holes it's true it's true we're in a
2:07:17 weird a weird place right now Doughboy
2:07:20 tab Hoards unite that's it Amelia 's
2:07:22 wife and we have the brightest Minds in
2:07:25 the field I believe working on AI too so
2:07:27 it's all just
2:07:31 mindblowing oh this one's
2:07:41 cool very
2:07:44 strong that one's
2:07:46 gorgeous upscale
2:07:50 creative this is going to be a cool
2:07:52 music video I wonder if I wonder if hey
2:07:54 Jen's going to deal with this well it
2:07:57 may not but we'll
2:07:59 try we're going to try people
2:08:33 let's upscale this one
2:08:41 subtle 78 complete I really like this
2:08:44 one with half her
2:08:46 face this one
2:08:49 here 94% complete but we'll try we'll
2:08:52 try this other
2:08:55 one these are [ __ ]
2:08:59 cool all right that that's
2:09:08 done that's so cool okay I have a
2:09:12 feeling
2:09:14 [ __ ] I really
2:09:17 want I really want ha Jen to do this
2:09:20 well but I have a feeling it's not going
2:09:24 to am I going to do this in ha Jen I
2:09:27 think
2:09:28 so let's see video Avatar oh no I need
2:09:33 ai studi ai Studio maybe this is did
2:09:37 yeah no this is right okay so we're
2:09:39 going to create with AI Studio wait
2:09:43 back we're going to create portrait so
2:09:46 I'm in hey Jen I'm in AI Studio I'm
2:09:50 going to create a portrait in
2:09:52 image I'm going to
2:09:57 upload photo
2:09:59 Avatar
2:10:11 upload right where is it oh it's
2:10:15 uploading okay uploading
2:10:22 see I have a feeling this is going to
2:10:24 animate the it's going to animate the
2:10:26 house I just want it to animate her
2:10:30 face let's get rid of that can I delete
2:10:34 this delete okay so I'm going to upload
2:10:40 audio so we're going to upload our
2:10:45 [Music]
2:10:47 MP3
2:10:49 AIS okay
2:10:55 I like Ai and I cannot
2:10:58 lie what's that country song House That
2:11:00 Built Me Miranda Lambert oh yeah it
2:11:03 might go well with that image yeah I
2:11:05 used to sing that
2:11:07 song in the uh The House That Built Me I
2:11:09 used to sing that song that's a really
2:11:11 good song I got to dig that one up
2:11:13 again all right
2:11:20 um I think this is it let's submit
2:11:23 it
2:11:25 submit and let's go back
2:11:29 here and
2:11:33 go we'll download we'll download this as
2:11:36 well wait did I did I upscale this I did
2:11:39 so let's download this as
2:11:41 well we'll try this one if this if this
2:11:44 other one doesn't work I think this is
2:11:46 going to be really
2:11:48 good 1% ready all right that's going to
2:11:51 take a
2:11:56 [Music]
2:12:04 [Music]
2:12:07 while what was that hang on
2:12:45 I know you say you can't go home again
2:12:49 but I just had to come back one last
2:12:50 time
2:12:53 ma'am I don't I know you don't know me
2:12:55 from Adam but this handprints on the
2:12:57 front steps are mine yeah that
2:13:01 one yeah I knew that one I've got to I
2:13:03 got to figure that one out
2:13:06 again 6% oh it's going so slow come on
2:13:10 man make it faster
2:13:13 [Laughter]
2:13:32 [Music]
2:13:46 these are cool
2:13:53 that one with half the face I hope this
2:13:55 one works see what it's probably going
2:13:57 to do is it's probably going to assume
2:13:59 that like that's her eye it's probably
2:14:02 going to make this thing move like a
2:14:04 head but ideally we just want her her
2:14:08 singing but we'll
2:14:13 see what was the prompt for that image
2:14:16 distressed photograph portrait of an
2:14:18 ethereal woman with an abandoned wooden
2:14:21 house behind her she looks into the
2:14:23 camera and the colors of the image are
2:14:26 faded it's like not even a very
2:14:28 well-written
2:14:31 prompt it gave
2:14:34 me that that that and that was the
2:14:37 original four that it gave
2:14:40 me I mean that one's interesting but
2:14:42 that would be weird if it was just her
2:14:44 head
2:14:45 moving and that would be weird like
2:14:47 she's got weird hands there and it would
2:14:49 be weird if she just
2:14:52 saying but like these
2:14:55 are
2:15:01 crazy huh how we doing 12% come
2:15:18 on Magic prompt and ideogram would be
2:15:21 good to use yeah that's
2:15:35 true IDE gram
2:16:14 why is it doing it
2:16:20 Square oh cuz but it's not it's not
2:16:30 okay okay that's
2:16:34 creepy that looks like a lane from
2:16:37 Seinfeld she looks like she's look like
2:16:41 Jerry why are we
2:16:47 here um all right a hauntingly beautiful
2:16:51 photograph of a woman okay so here's the
2:16:53 magic prompt so let's go back to Mid
2:16:59 Journey type in
2:17:02 that 916 oh oh we had weirdness way high
2:17:07 on this that's probably why it did that
2:17:08 mix thing but that's okay this is kind
2:17:11 of a weird image so let's go let's go
2:17:14 make some more weirdness weirdness
2:17:18 good I need to go to sleep good night
2:17:20 everybody good Mr it I love
2:17:23 Seinfeld it does didn't it look just
2:17:26 like
2:17:27 her magic prompt has taken the need to
2:17:30 use any of the chat chat Bots for
2:17:39 prompting oh done all right let's see
2:17:42 people come on don't suck please don't
2:17:44 suck
2:17:49 [Applause]
2:17:52 yeah see there's a
2:17:53 [Music]
2:17:55 whisper through the blood
2:17:58 Shadows craw dark curse release us we
2:18:05 implore de is the tale The Haunt of our
2:18:09 kin FK cursed days cursed nights leave
2:18:12 us no more
2:18:15 Generations yeah I had a feeling that's
2:18:18 too bad it's still kind of cool but it's
2:18:21 just it's not quite
2:18:23 right it's moving the house you got to
2:18:26 like you actually need to do that as a
2:18:29 as a double
2:18:45 exposure let's
2:18:48 see hauntingly beautiful
2:18:57 closeup photograph of a woman with a d
2:19:01 distressed
2:19:02 expression standing in front of an
2:19:04 abandoned worn
2:19:12 [Music]
2:19:15 out all right I got to go to bed people
2:19:18 I can't keep doing this what do you
2:19:20 people doing doing to
2:19:22 [Laughter]
2:19:33 me chasing the image High been there
2:19:37 exactly it was so it's so much fun night
2:19:40 we're learning vicariously through you
2:19:42 bud I yeah I hope you're learning
2:19:45 something again this is this is really
2:19:47 just like you know Kyle entertaining
2:19:49 himself
2:19:52 while other people
2:19:55 watch she's got a creepiness to
2:20:01 her this I think could work because I
2:20:04 think her head's distinct enough here
2:20:07 that it won't move the
2:20:09 house so let's do very
2:20:12 strong so that should give us a pile of
2:20:15 new options and let's do this one very
2:20:19 strong and then we can go go pick pick
2:20:22 one of
2:20:26 those knowing what not to buy
2:20:30 yep good night Gavin
2:20:35 biddy oh thank you Daniel I appreciate
2:20:44 that yeah it's definitely this one this
2:20:46 one's creepy
2:20:51 I think it's got to be that wait where
2:20:54 is
2:20:58 it that one I think it's this
2:21:01 one all right so let's upscale this
2:21:04 creative
2:21:28 this is
2:21:32 creepy some someone's like is AI evil no
2:21:36 no then we show him
2:21:46 this oh man
2:22:03 all right 94% complete let's finish it
2:22:06 up there mid
2:22:07 Journey 100% complete boom okay
2:22:12 download back to Hay
2:22:15 Jen close that create with AI Studio
2:22:23 photo Avatar
2:22:26 upload is this her
2:22:29 yes that is creepy ass action TM that's
2:22:34 some creepy ass
2:22:39 action okay upload
2:22:44 audio Whispers Untamed
2:22:53 [Music]
2:22:53 [Applause]
2:22:59 okay with that
2:23:06 image all right we're going
2:23:10 in we're doing this thing
2:23:16 people I hope it can I hope it can move
2:23:19 her head without moving the
2:23:21 house I I don't I don't I don't have a
2:23:24 lot of confidence and I don't have a lot
2:23:26 of credits
2:23:27 [Laughter]
2:23:29 left
2:23:30 [Laughter]
2:23:35 Elaine it's pretty
2:23:38 funny all right so there's that let me
2:23:40 get rid of
2:23:44 that all right so I'll wait for that to
2:23:47 do its thing I'll I'll play it before I
2:23:49 go um how many people here is anyone
2:23:52 left not not
2:23:54 many we we thinned the herd pretty good
2:23:57 [Laughter]
2:24:02 tonight um if you haven't followed my
2:24:04 channel follow my channel if you haven't
2:24:06 subscribe to it that helps support it um
2:24:10 you can also buy in the corner there
2:24:12 there or there is a video series if you
2:24:16 want to know why I think AI is a big
2:24:17 deal that's what's in that video series
2:24:21 um plus a lot of tips about how to like
2:24:22 use this stuff and not get overwhelmed
2:24:24 by it
2:24:27 um but also just keep showing up here
2:24:29 still here buddy almost dinner time
2:24:35 now oh
2:24:41 man all right it's still it's still
2:24:44 cranking away it's going to crank for a
2:24:46 bit the most important ones are still in
2:24:49 the house that's right
2:24:51 just the Irregulars hands hard irregular
2:24:55 hard hard the hard Irregulars left yeah
2:24:57 exactly exactly the the committed the
2:25:00 ones that should be
2:25:03 committed let's
2:25:05 see I know they say can't go home again
2:25:10 wait
2:25:11 uh again
2:25:14 [Music]
2:25:40 yeah I finally hit 35,000 to block Tom
2:25:43 finally
2:25:45 [Music]
2:26:23 what's that say Jesse from Austin the
2:26:26 more I use chat GPT around people they
2:26:28 are amazed and say robots are taking
2:26:30 over the
2:26:32 world here's here's a thing that that I
2:26:35 I want to find a way to start educating
2:26:38 about that calling them Bots I think is
2:26:42 really doing this technology a
2:26:45 disservice it is technically a
2:26:48 calculator like technically what it does
2:26:51 is a probability engine but because it's
2:26:53 trained on language human language lots
2:26:57 of human language it has a
2:27:01 distinctly nonroot feel to it and I
2:27:05 think that's actually important
2:27:08 [Music]
2:27:26 I just had an amber alert of
2:27:30 [Music]
2:27:36 Mone I didn't know it was considered a
2:27:41 calculator well it's a the the way large
2:27:43 language models
2:27:45 work is when you type your
2:27:48 prompt it creates a mathematical
2:27:52 weighting and it it's it
2:27:55 says in Thousand dimensional like and
2:27:58 I'm not this is not just [ __ ] stuff
2:28:01 it's like in Thousand dimensional
2:28:03 mathematical
2:28:05 space there's a point in that thousand
2:28:08 dimensional mathematical space with all
2:28:10 these clusters of these things called
2:28:13 vectors there's there's a token in that
2:28:17 space that has the highest probability
2:28:20 of being the the next most probable word
2:28:22 for lack of a better
2:28:26 term and so you type in your prompt and
2:28:29 it says okay go look in Thousand
2:28:31 dimensional Vector space the latent
2:28:34 space they call it and then bring back
2:28:37 from there the word that you found and
2:28:39 it puts that word on your screen and
2:28:42 then it goes back in and it finds the
2:28:44 next most probable word and it puts that
2:28:45 on screen so technically what it's doing
2:28:49 is just probability equation probability
2:28:51 response probability equation
2:28:53 probability response what we experience
2:28:56 is it just wrote me an essay or it just
2:28:59 wrote me a poem or it just answered my
2:29:02 question but technically what it's doing
2:29:05 it's a
2:29:07 calculator functionally what it's doing
2:29:10 is having a conversation with
2:29:13 us and and it feels much more like
2:29:16 having a
2:29:18 conversation than working with Excel
2:29:21 good thumbs
2:29:22 up all right we're at 23% this is where
2:29:25 it it kind of jumped to being finished
2:29:29 before new idea prompting Kyle use shot
2:29:33 deck website to get shot specs to
2:29:37 utilize an image prompt I don't know
2:29:39 what shot deck
2:29:40 is what shot
2:29:43 deck shot
2:29:47 deck fully searchable High reses Movie
2:29:51 images oh that's
2:29:58 interesting oh that's cool yeah that's
2:30:00 cool and then you could also use like I
