make money with chig 11:32 all right so there's some some new stuff 11:35 to talk about 11:36 [Music] 11:39 tonight if you're new here my name is 11:41 Kyle 11:42 Shannon this is not just about mediocre 11:46 singing and then my glorious singing 11:49 sorry about the dog he's not that good 11:51 he's not formally 11:55 trained unlike myself I'm Berkeley 11:58 trained that's guy named Al Berkeley uh 12:02 he uh taught me how to play guitar in 12:04 the seventh grade uh fantastic fantastic 12:07 uh well he was a he was a little a 12:09 little gropey he was a little gropey but 12:11 listen I I have a love for music and and 12:15 other strange things thanks Al Berkeley 12:18 trained Robert Rossy thank you for the 12:20 uh lightning bolts there 12:23 fantastic I appreciate the support and 12:26 generosity if AI only train translated 12:29 what champ was really saying actually 12:30 that would be fascinating wouldn't 12:33 it um I think we're probably not more 12:38 than 5 years out from having a 12:40 commercial product where you put a 12:42 collar around your dog and then you have 12:45 a walkie talkie you know something like 12:49 this it's got a little button on it and 12:52 then you talk into it and it translates 12:55 it into dog and then comes out of your 12:58 dog's collar and goes into his ear holes 13:01 and then he 13:02 goes and then you're like oh he's hungry 13:06 he's got a 13:09 pee so that science fiction movie will 13:13 have P come and 13:14 gone I'm guessing five years for that 13:18 we'll get whales before that three years 13:20 we'll get you know scientists are 13:22 talking to 13:24 whales but dogs dogs come two years 13:26 later 13:29 now listen if you're a whale researcher 13:32 on this channel get on the dogs it's a 13:35 bigger Market I mean who's got access to 13:38 whales just like people with big 13:41 boats who's got access to dogs all of 13:45 everyone all right so we want the 13:48 talking dog 13:50 translator all right oh fantastic you 13:53 bought one a rabbit I did buy a rabbit I 13:55 got in batch one 13:58 [Applause] 13:59 if you have not seen the rabbit here's 14:01 the rabbit does it still got a charge 14:04 no no doesn't hold a charge very long 14:07 but yes this is my rabbit with this 14:09 little scroll wheel quick question AI is 14:12 fast or it's just up us adapting so 14:18 fast um well one thing that I notice on 14:22 this here 14:23 Channel 14:27 oops about about about that 14:33 rabbit oh I see my side quest drive my 14:37 uh Urban desire side quest Drive took a 14:40 dump all 14:42 right is AI fast or are we just adapting 14:45 fast so here's the thing I noticed hang 14:47 on I need air 14:50 um it's warm it's a trle warm in here 14:53 this say trle woman heals at 14:55 me um I have noticed in here 15:01 I'm probably largely inspired by my ADD 15:04 addled brain is that the minute a 15:10 new jaw-dropping mindblowing technology 15:13 comes 15:15 out I normalize it in like three days 15:19 like I have my Kevin McAllister moment 15:21 I'm like oh my 15:24 God and then 3 days later I'm like well 15:26 yeah it does that like when's it going 15:28 to do the next thing so so yes AI is 15:32 fast um yes we are adapting to it 15:38 fast 15:45 um 15:47 and I don't think we've actually 15:51 really seen the the the big stuff 15:55 yet I don't think we've seen the big 15:57 stuff yet the big stuff for me 15:59 is agents and 16:03 reasoning cuz when you stick reasoning 16:05 on top of these core Cape abilities and 16:08 when you 16:09 stick when you create things that have 16:12 the ability to take action on our 16:14 behalf then all of a sudden things start 16:17 to change pretty dramatically we're not 16:20 there yet we're still in the early 16:23 days this is still like if I was to 16:26 metaphorically compare where we are 16:28 right now with a a i to the early days 16:31 of the worldwide web we're probably 16:38 like end of 1995 beginning of 16:43 1996 the real froth of the worldwide web 16:47 didn't happen 16:48 until 97 or 16:51 98 and and that was 16:54 because there was enough infrastructure 16:56 in place people were getting high-speed 16:58 internet 16:59 connections the technology was sort of 17:02 getting 17:03 better 17:06 um so as hyped up as everyone was in 17:10 1995 17:11 1996 it was nothing compared to 1998 17:16 1999 everyone that's claiming right now 17:19 that we're in an AI bubble and and this 17:22 is as frothy as it 17:24 gets this this we haven't even started 17:27 we haven't even we haven't even begun to 17:31 begin I like that phrase we haven't 17:33 begun to 17:35 [Music] 17:36 begin we we ain't got started 17:43 yet and everyone's bitching about open 17:45 AI not shipping stuff including 17:49 me um but in in the anals of History 17:53 it'll be 17:55 like either completely forgotten or 17:57 it'll be like oh yeah they delayed the 17:59 launch of that by 6 18:01 months in the in the long-term view 18:04 these delays are nothing so we're just 18:10 impatient but yes AI is that fast one of 18:13 the things I'm going to show tonight is 18:15 claud's 18:17 um 18:19 artifacts they call it you watch that 18:21 thing write code and run 18:23 code and now you can share those 18:25 artifacts like sharing a 18:27 GPT but you 18:35 could you can just watch this thing 18:37 write and execute code it's 18:40 Bonkers so it's faster and we're faster 18:44 and what's funny is I don't think that I 18:47 don't think what AI does is make humans 18:49 faster I think what AI 18:53 does is AI takes 18:56 over the low-level repetitive 19:01 Soul crushing work 19:03 first and freeze us up to do higher 19:07 level creative thinking and critical 19:11 thinking and it's actually going to 19:12 require that 19:16 so if there's if there's a skill that I 19:19 would say you should be honing right now 19:22 it's critical 19:24 thinking you know why am I doing this 19:27 why am I using this tool what problem am 19:29 I trying to solve is this good is this 19:34 bad is there another way I could do 19:37 this should this be a song instead of a 19:40 website [ __ ] like 19:45 that I think that's going to be the most 19:48 sought-after skill moving forward is 19:52 your ability to 19:55 think 19:56 broadly across disciplines 20:00 to think 20:02 strategically to think 20:07 [Music] 20:14 critically if you don't think you have 20:16 the skills right now to do AI you're 20:25 wrong 2 years ago you were right 20:32 year and a half 20:35 ago year and a half ago you had to be 20:39 pretty 20:41 geeky five years ago you had to be 20:43 really geeky to do anything with 20:46 AI but November 30th 20:49 2022 if you're taking notes by the way 20:52 um we encourage people to take notes 20:55 it's yellow legal 20:56 pads legal pads not the short squatty 21:00 letter sized you want legal sized we 21:04 want an extra sharp number two 21:06 pencil we want you to take the notes 21:10 okay so if you're taking 21:12 notes it's right at the top of your 21:15 yellow legal pad November 30th 2022 and 21:19 put a star by 21:22 that you know how to make a 21:24 star no cuz you just use emojis now 21:29 get [ __ ] with 21:31 it ask chat GPT to teach you how to draw 21:34 a 21:35 star all 21:38 right that's the date that chat GPT 21:41 launched you oh you like chat GPT why is 21:44 everybody talking 21:47 CH cuz chat 21:51 GPT you know how everyone talks about 21:54 the 21:56 web well there was this guy burner 22:00 Lee and he said this internet it's like 22:03 a 22:04 web of computers that are connected in 22:07 this 22:08 web and he came up with the hypertext 22:11 transfer protocol and he invented this 22:12 thing called the worldwide web so he was 22:14 just a 22:15 guy that had an 22:19 idea and that changed 22:25 everything from a technological 22:28 standpoint 22:29 it 22:31 wasn't super 22:33 impressive was like well if we if we 22:36 just put some protocols in place that if 22:38 we 22:38 start this thing with 22:41 https or it wasn't S at the time HTTP 22:44 colon 22:46 slash and then you put an IP address the 22:49 address of a computer in there we can go 22:52 to that computer we 22:54 can read a file on that computer 22:59 then they added in the domain name 23:02 system where now I could say story 23:04 vine.com points to this IP address and 23:08 then when I click on that hyperlink it 23:11 takes me to story vine.com 23:14 I see a website there so it's just the 23:18 ability to click on the 23:22 internet changed 23:25 everything November 30th 2022 23:30 this little seven-year-old startup 23:32 called open AI launches chat GPT and the 23:34 reason everyone's talking about 23:37 it is that they made this thing that 23:40 even they didn't think was all that big 23:42 a 23:43 deal in fact they thought they would 23:45 have been happy if 5,000 people liked 23:49 it they thought they were going to get a 23:51 couple hundred shares 5,000 23:55 likes and within 3 days they had a 23:58 million users 24:00 and within 6 weeks they had a 100 24:02 million 24:09 users so everything that you're playing 24:11 with you know unless you work for a 24:14 research lab and you're an actual 24:16 mathematician but everything you say 24:18 everything you hear people talking 24:21 about why so many people are so excited 24:24 is chat GPT does for AI what the 24:28 worldwide web did for the internet it 24:30 makes it that simple you type [ __ ] in 24:33 the box and you hit the button and it 24:35 goes 24:37 squat moderators please post Kyle please 24:40 talk about clay 24:45 wait November 30th 2022 breathed new 24:48 life into my business from Jim Ross at 24:50 Three Mile Storage 24:54 management Jim was 24:57 there Jim was curious about tech he's 24:59 running his storage management business 25:02 he's [ __ ] around with whatever stable 25:04 diffusion images something like that 25:07 he's just paying 25:08 attention his spidey sense is up he's 25:11 like I got to do something with this 25:12 storage business Co kind of screwed me 25:15 here what am i g to 25:17 do I and I don't know why Jim talks with 25:20 his hand on his forehead like this but 25:22 he does it's very disconcerting every 25:24 meeting I'm in with Jim he's like he's 25:26 he's like this he he matches his hand to 25:29 his mouth like he's working a puppet 25:31 except he does it on his 25:33 forehead it's bizarre but really nice 25:36 guy 25:39 anyway 25:41 Jim noticed that this thing came out 25:43 called chat GPT and he went and he 25:45 played with it and he was like 25:48 huh wonder if that could write me a 25:50 little letter for my business oh yeah it 25:53 can and he just jumped in from day one 25:57 trying to figure out how the hell this 25:58 new Chat gbt thing was going 26:01 to be a tool for him to get better at 26:04 his business and he spent the last 18 26:06 months a lot of the knights in 26:09 here probably has something to do with 26:11 this weird Behavior I don't you know the 26:13 people in here they're 26:16 odd but you should go look up thre Mile 26:18 Storage management look up his videos on 26:21 YouTube every video thumbnail you'll see 26:23 he's got his hand like this on his head 26:25 and then when he talks he does this 26:27 never seen anything like it 26:30 anyway you're welcome for the ad 26:33 Jim 26:38 um but as far as I know Jim does not 26:41 have his PhD in mathematics from 26:43 Stanford or 26:45 MIT he 26:49 may but I'm pretty sure he's just a guy 26:51 trying to run his business and he's been 26:54 using AI actively effectively for 18 26:58 months 27:01 please talk about clay and Creator 27:04 fund get us free credits okay I don't 27:07 know what Clay on the Creator fund 27:10 is hang on should I know did that happen 27:14 today hang on 27:19 Clay create 27:22 cre Ator 27:27 fund clay to tokens and 27:31 poker made watching The Last of 27:38 Us clay raised $62 million at a $500 27:43 million valuation I don't know what Clay 27:47 is Clay 27:52 AI clay AI 28:05 that was June 28:14 27th 28:17 clay. 28:27 AI I don't know I don't know what it is 28:29 Clay 28:31 AI all right so LTX versus gen 3 Alpha 28:35 your 28:36 thoughts um well Detroit 28:39 J they're two very very different 28:43 tools 28:48 um LTX Studio could use Runway gen 3 as 28:53 their video generation model if they 28:55 wanted to up their their game but I 28:57 don't think they want spend that much 29:00 money what's a good site for AI news 29:10 um Matt wolf Matt wolf seems to keep up 29:13 with it pretty 29:14 good there's a bunch of AI newsletters 29:17 out 29:18 there um I used to run one but haven't 29:24 haven't done anything with it in a while 29:27 um 29:34 it's a really personal thing 29:37 like Riley's pretty good but his his 29:42 delivery is very particular like it kind 29:45 of is like nails on a chalkboard for me 29:49 but he's he's got really good 29:52 information um Matt Wolf's another good 29:55 one he's a 29:56 YouTuber um there's a bunch bu of 29:59 ticktockers Rachel woods used to do a 30:01 lot of news but she doesn't do so much 30:03 anymore clay.com 30:06 damn what's that one girl's name uh 30:11 Betty 30:14 clay.com 30:20 scale personalized Outreach with better 30:23 data enrichment 30:29 all right this is lead 30:41 generation oh yeah AI marketing 30:43 Institute that's a good point Vicki um 30:45 the AI marketing institute's really good 30:47 so they've got a weekly podcast called 30:50 the I think it's called the artificial 30:52 intelligence podcast now with Paul rater 30:55 and Mike 30:56 kaput um they're really good what's 30:59 what's nice about the the marketing AI 31:02 Institute actually that's a that's a 31:04 really good one I I would sort of put 31:05 them at the top of the list if you want 31:07 to get news because 31:10 they they were the first ones they 31:12 they've been they've been 31:16 covering why is mighty networks crashing 31:18 on my iPad what the hell's going 31:23 on huh that's weird 31:40 all right I got to restart my I got to 31:43 restart my iPad 31:55 people I'll be right with you home place 31:59 Mighty networks has been janky for over 32:01 a week Kyle has it that's weird it's it 32:06 it done it's done weirding me 32:10 out I've never seen it just quit like in 32:12 the middle of just it was just sitting 32:14 there doing nothing and 32:20 then all right that's 32:22 restarting all right I need to make a 32:25 digital twin in the next several weeks 32:28 Kyle 32:29 are you going to show us 32:31 how 32:33 again um yeah I can I can walk through 32:37 how to make a digital 32:39 twin 32:43 um digital twin like what do you need to 32:46 what do you need to make it for I cuz 32:49 there's lots of different ways to think 32:51 about what a digital twin 32:54 is cuz it can be everything from a 32:57 simulation to 33:00 to like a toy to a business 33:04 thing so like you you need to understand 33:07 what you're trying to create I mean the 33:09 simplest way to make a digital 33:14 twin is go into your custom instructions 33:17 in chat GPT and tell it who you 33:22 are you 33:24 know 33:26 I'm you know 33:29 this kind of person with these kind of 33:30 skills I care about these 33:36 things and then if you want it to 33:38 respond in a particular way put that in 33:40 the custom 33:44 instructions you know I like being super 33:47 optimistic I like being super 33:49 pessimistic I like short answers I like 33:51 long answers 33:54 um so you can just personalize your chat 33:57 GPT 33:58 and in in some sense that's a digital 34:01 twin the digital twins I've created 34:04 recently rely on an 34:07 interview 34:10 um that we created structured interviews 34:13 for couple of projects that I was 34:15 working on and we had everyone that we 34:17 wanted a digital twin from to do the 34:19 interview like recorded in 34:22 video and then we take the transcript of 34:24 that video and that becomes the training 34:27 data for a 34:30 GPT I wanted to reply to all my emails 34:33 while I'm busy facilitating education 34:35 with the students I wouldn't call that a 34:36 digital twin I would call that an email 34:39 composition 34:41 bot um so what I would do there if I 34:45 were you Mr studio 34:48 dhu 34:49 is I would 34:54 save go find 10 of your favorite emails 34:59 and put him in a here here we can we can 35:01 do this let's 35:04 see a digital assistant an agent yeah 35:07 exactly it's not a digital twin you 35:09 always deliver so much value thank you 35:11 thank you opportunity Sage I appreciate 35:14 that I try I try in between being a 35:18 smartass I try but Jim Ross really does 35:21 talk with his hand on his forehead 35:23 that's not that's not a 35:26 joke I think he's got a 35:30 because it's not always up there if it 35:32 were always up there you'd be like oh 35:33 something's up but like you start out 35:35 and he's normal and then when he talks 35:37 he puts his hand up there like it's a 35:39 puppet I think it's got something to do 35:41 I think it's like a storage management 35:44 um like a secret code I didn't go to 35:46 storage school so it might be something 35:49 it might be a way that that they 35:51 communicate in the storage business is 35:53 is a 35:55 possibility but everything else I do is 35:57 smartass but not that that wasn't a joke 35:59 smartass totally going to do hand on my 36:02 head my next office 36:09 bro okay let's let's see if we can get 36:15 uh the good doctor to to do an email bot 36:19 here so let me let me think about how I 36:21 would do this 36:28 so first thing I would 36:30 do I would go to your I would go to your 36:33 emails and find a good email or 36:38 10 but here here's what we're going to 36:40 do we're going to use we're going to 36:41 cheat 36:58 I want you to 37:02 create a Json 37:06 file 37:10 of business 37:13 emails that are written in a friendly 37:16 informal 37:17 tone that use subtle business 37:21 appropriate humor whenever possible 37:46 there should 37:47 be five short emails and five longer 37:52 emails and the topics should include 37:58 positive engagements as well 38:01 as business challenges 38:07 period include 15 email examples in the 38:12 Json file and include appropriate 38:25 metadata okay so what I'm doing right 38:27 now you don't really need to pay 38:28 attention 38:28 [Laughter] 38:36 to but what I'm what I'm doing is I'm 38:40 having chat 38:43 gbt generate sample 38:49 emails so what you should do good doctor 38:53 is you should go through your emails and 38:56 capture do you you think AI will be able 38:59 to do predicting how my day will be so 39:03 it will it will 39:05 suggest to stay 39:09 home you you want to create the 39:12 agoraphobia chat GPT you can create you 39:15 can create an agoraphobic 39:18 GPT 39:19 um that's funny I I don't know if you're 39:23 joking or not 39:26 um I don't I don't know that you know 39:28 chat GPT is going to be good at 39:30 predicting [ __ ] but it it's good at 39:33 analyzing um 39:37 things you know based on on what you 39:42 uh what information it has about you so 39:46 it can do some pretty good pattern 39:48 recognition but I wouldn't rely on it to 39:52 determine whether I go out of the house 39:53 or not okay so we've got 40:00 continue generating oh okay it it 40:02 crapped out so we're going to continue 40:17 generating okay Json file contains all 40:21 your crap I'm going to copy the code I'm 40:23 going to go over to a little text 40:26 editor I'm going to paste it all in 40:29 there let's go read a couple of 40:33 these subject Thanks A 40:36 Latte I just wanted to drop you a quick 40:39 note to say thanks your help with the 40:41 project was like caffeine and my coffee 40:44 absolutely essential so it's got some 40:46 short 40:48 ones oh this is 40:53 good it's got short ones long ones the 40:55 short ones there's a thank you a meeting 40:59 reminder project update a welcome 41:03 welcome to the 41:04 team a scheduling a call Pro proposal 41:07 feedback see this is this is one of the 41:10 reasons that I I like using chat GPT 41:14 instead of my brain is 41:16 that your 41:19 brain like my brain could absolutely 41:22 come up with some email categories but 41:25 it would take me like a [ __ ] hour 41:28 and I would just never do it uh please 41:30 explain Json perhaps absolutely so let's 41:34 zoom in 41:36 here Json stands 41:39 for JavaScript something hang 41:44 on let's see um what does JS n stand for 41:59 JavaScript object 42:02 notation JS JavaScript object notation 42:06 it's a lightweight data interchange 42:09 format that's easy for humans to read 42:11 and write I would argue with the easy to 42:14 read and write but but basically what it 42:17 does you have sort of an open curly 42:19 bracket and then a closed curly bracket 42:21 so that becomes one record in your 42:25 database and then 42:29 the open curly bracket is for emails 42:32 right and so 42:34 inside the emails bracket is all the 42:38 emails and then you have an open bracket 42:40 for email one and a closed bracket for 42:42 email 42:43 one and then within that there 42:47 are um in quote marks these are Fields 42:50 so this is ID number one the type of 42:53 email is short can you read that I bet 42:57 you can't 42:58 hang 43:00 on see so you have the Open Bracket so 43:03 id1 type is short topic is thank you 43:07 subject Thanks A Latte and then the body 43:12 right four months ago I didn't think I 43:16 had the skills and now I'm writing a 43:17 book with AI exactly so now we're going 43:20 to have you write actually so what we'll 43:22 do here is I'm just going to go ahead 43:24 we're going to create a custom GPT that 43:27 writes friendly 43:29 emails so the first thing I did is and 43:32 and by the way like all of this like it 43:36 says tone friendly humorous length short 43:40 engagement positive so all of this 43:42 organization all these fields chat GPT 43:44 came up with this like all I wanted it 43:47 to do was write like subject and 43:50 body but then I said I wanted some short 43:52 things I wanted some long things and I 43:54 said write it in Json right write it in 43:57 this structured way the reason to write 44:00 it in this structured way is that chat 44:01 GPT is really good at reading structured 44:04 data so chat GPT can read all this [ __ ] 44:06 and understand it so what I'm going to 44:09 do is I'm going to export this well I 44:11 guess I'll export it as a 44:13 PDF we're going to call this 44:16 um well friendly emails 44:20 friendly 44:23 emails I'm going to save that to my 44:25 desktop now file management 44:29 tip whenever you're saving any files 44:32 save them on your desktop with an 44:36 ambiguous name that's not related to any 44:39 project so that you can never find them 44:41 in the future you're welcome 44:46 okay uh uh uh uh now we're in chat 44:51 JP so here we are so what do you think 44:54 about lattice launching AI agents as AI 44:57 employees I just heard that uh on a Tik 45:01 Tok video right when I was driving home 45:03 from the AI Salon event tonight 45:07 um so I don't know enough details about 45:09 it to have an opinion on 45:12 it there's a big part of me that thinks 45:15 that it's a PR play because I don't 45:19 think there's to my 45:22 knowledge there's not sort of 45:24 commercially 45:26 available auton agents that are good 45:29 enough to be an actual employee so so my 45:34 my immediate response my immediate 45:36 cynical I've been on this planet for 59 45:39 years response is yeah they're trying to 45:41 get some press so that's that's it but I 45:44 don't I I I I don't I haven't done any 45:47 research on it so I will definitely look 45:49 it up when you choose when you use chat 45:52 GPT long enough you realize that it's 45:54 just a helper yes exactly it's not gen 45:58 general intelligence by any means no but 46:00 it is it is a it's a it is definitely a 46:04 task augmentor and a and a kind of brain 46:06 augmentor okay so here's what we're 46:08 going to do I'm going to go to explore 46:11 gpts in the upper right hand corner I'm 46:13 going to say create we're going to 46:14 create a GPT 46:17 here 46:19 okay now there's two so if you've never 46:22 created a GPT F play along play along 46:25 people you have the chat 46:28 GPT do you have the chat GPT you've got 46:30 to be a subscriber to be able to make 46:32 gpts if you're not a how do you export 46:37 in chat GPT 46:40 um how do you export well like when it 46:43 created all of 46:46 those when that when it created the Json 46:49 stuff hang on when it created all of 46:53 this stuff at the top of this window 46:57 there's a copy code 46:59 button so you can either just highlight 47:02 it and copy it or you can say copy 47:07 here so I usually just copy and paste 47:10 out of it I don't I don't generally 47:12 export out of 47:14 it um okay let's go back so now we're 47:18 going to make a GPT so if you haven't 47:20 paid for chat GPT you should but if you 47:22 have paid for chat gbt build along 47:27 so we now 47:29 have this file with all these example 47:32 emails in 47:34 it um do you have to use Json you don't 47:37 but you'll see I'm going to be able to 47:38 do some cool [ __ ] because we did um what 47:43 you're looking at here on the left hand 47:44 side this is where we build a GPT this 47:46 is where we play with the GPT that got 47:48 built and on this side over here we can 47:51 either fill it out 47:54 manually which you know that's 47:58 what neurotypical people do but I'm 48:01 neuros spicy I need immediate 48:03 gratification so I'm going to go over 48:05 here to the create Tab and I'm just 48:07 going to have chat GPT build this 48:09 [ __ ] thing for me so the first thing 48:11 I'm going to do is I'm going to 48:12 upload those example emails the friendly 48:15 emails and then I'm going to say to chat 48:19 GPT I want you to create a 48:24 GPT that 48:27 writes 48:29 emails based 48:32 on the examples here 48:36 period I also want you to create 48:38 conversation starter questions that make 48:41 it easy for someone to 48:49 start they should be able to choose 48:51 whether they want to 48:54 create a short or long email and whether 48:58 the email 49:01 is friendly or 49:06 direct and then have the GPT give them 49:09 some options of the kind of emails they 49:12 might want to write 49:14 period all right so I just talked words 49:17 into it so if you haven't played with 49:20 chat GPT before one of the things that 49:23 you'll notice with it is I'm creating a 49:25 fairly sophisticated technical 49:27 application 49:29 here um but I don't need to know any 49:32 sophisticated the fact that I knew 49:34 Json might seem sophisticated it's 49:37 pretty it's pretty simple but like I 49:39 didn't even need to do that that could 49:41 just be a text file with emails in it 49:43 with no labels you can just take your 49:46 favorite emails dump them into a text 49:48 file and upload that to this so so you 49:50 can just talk words into this [ __ ] and 49:52 it'll figure some stuff out so it says 49:54 let's come up with a name for this GPT 49:56 how does email mro sound for you I'm 49:58 going to go sounds great Bob let's tell 50:01 him what he's 50:15 won now let's generate a picture for the 50:20 profile seems to be an issue with 50:22 generating images that's a drag but 50:24 anyway 50:28 okay help me write a short friendly 50:31 email show me options for a long direct 50:33 email so if I click on 50:35 that here are some 50:41 options so it's it's written them 50:46 in it's it's showing CSS code which is 50:52 weird so I'm going to go 50:57 your 50:59 responses should only ever be in plain 51:02 text and not in code unless explicitly 51:06 asked for 51:12 [Music] 51:14 period so it says updating the 51:22 GPT what specific guidance or preference 51:25 do you have for the style of the email 51:27 I'm going to say use 51:32 markdown use markdown rendered in the 51:35 browser to make the 51:36 emails easier to 51:39 read so that's a little power tip 51:42 markdown is uh it's like HTML it's sort 51:46 of a shitty HTML that just formats text 51:49 in the 51:50 browser how do you want me to interact 51:53 with users should it be formal casual 51:57 it should be 52:00 casual and yes make it 52:04 interactive okay so we're going to be 52:06 done talking to it out here 52:08 now I've probably screwed some things up 52:16 already feel free to test it okay so 52:19 it's available over there to test so I'm 52:21 going to come in here so now remember 52:22 when I went to configure before and all 52:24 this was empty now it's all written now 52:26 it's all filled out for me there's our 52:28 friendly emails PDF 52:31 example I'm going to leave image 52:34 generation turn on I'm going to leave 52:35 web browsing turned on I'll show you why 52:37 in a 52:38 second um let's go over here and try 52:41 this again so we'll go show me my 52:45 options for a long direct 52:51 email okay I don't like what that's 52:53 doing so I'm going to go over here I'm 52:55 going to say 52:58 um if someone asks for 53:02 options if someone asks for options for 53:05 the 53:06 email use your Json 53:25 data to present the 53:28 options but do not write the email right 53:32 away let the user choose from the 53:36 options and then ask for the subject of 53:39 their 53:41 email and then write the email based on 53:44 what they 53:45 chose 53:48 period 53:53 okay so hopefully what this does so what 53:55 it was doing before is when I I said 53:57 show me options for a long direct 54:01 email it was writing the emails now it 54:04 should just give me a little list of 54:05 choices here are some options proposal 54:07 and it's not 54:10 working all right let's 54:13 see 54:17 um do not write in 54:22 code other than using 54:30 markdown to make the 54:34 emails 54:36 easy to 54:41 read all right let's see if we can get 54:44 it to to behave a little bit here help 54:47 me write a short friendly email let's do 54:49 that one let's see help me write a short 54:51 friendly 54:53 email great here are some options it's 54:56 still doing the 55:07 can you help me prevent this can you 55:10 help me prevent this GPT from writing in 55:12 code 55:42 still doing it code I don't know 55:51 whatever do not write in C SS code 55:59 exclamation 56:00 [Laughter] 56:06 point look at configured to see what 56:09 code is in there nah I just don't want 56:12 it to write code I don't I don't give a 56:15 [ __ ] about it writing code I don't want 56:18 I don't want it to write 56:20 code it's still doing it I don't know 56:23 whatever I'd have you'd have to go and 56:24 fix this anyway so let's see let let me 56:27 so I'm going to say create this I'm 56:29 going to say anyone with the link can 56:31 see it I could also save this to the 56:33 chat GPD store I'm going to save 56:44 it and say view GPT so I'm going to 56:47 say write a 56:53 long email 57:01 firing my 57:04 client because they 57:08 didn't do their 57:12 work sure let's get started on drafting 57:14 it termination of services due to lack 57:16 of progress hi client's name I hope this 57:19 finds you well I wanted to reach out and 57:22 discuss an important matter with you 57:23 over the past amount of time we faced 57:26 significant challenges our collaboration 57:28 requires Mutual commitment to timely and 57:31 efficient work unfortunately has not 57:32 been met effective some date we will be 57:36 terminating our contract this decision 57:38 was not made 57:41 lightly 57:45 great now 57:47 write a short 57:51 email um 57:55 welcoming 57:58 Jenny our 58:01 new designer to the 58:07 team Jenny welcome aboard we're thrilled 58:09 to have you join us as our new designer 58:11 your creativity and skills are going to 58:13 be a fantastic addition to the team 58:15 looking forward to working with you and 58:16 creating amazing things together 58:20 best all 58:23 right yeah read analyze and reply 58:25 accordingly so anyway yeah just give it 58:28 your um examples as part of that 58:32 training data you don't have to do the I 58:33 think because I did it as code that's 58:35 probably why I'm getting Cody responses 58:38 so just this shit's smart just dump a 58:41 pile of emails in there that you like 58:43 and say I've included a bunch of emails 58:45 in there that I like just use those for 58:47 tone and you know and then give it give 58:50 it a few little instructions and then 58:52 you're off to the 58:54 races and quite frankly like you can 58:56 make these gpts for anything you could 58:58 make one that's a headline writer you 59:00 could make one that's an email writer 59:01 you could make one that you know writes 59:04 class plans daily class plans daily 59:08 detention activities for shitty 59:12 [Laughter] 59:16 students ah hopefully that was helpful 59:19 did was that any good cuz I know I kind 59:21 of [ __ ] it up there and I made it I 59:23 made it overly complicated that could be 59:25 much simpler than what I did but 59:29 whatever I got a little too geeky if you 59:32 know what I 59:32 [Laughter] 59:34 mean yeah you know fantastic Bob yeah 59:39 yeah so what I was doing there was I was 59:41 trying to get in there under the hood 59:42 show you a little bit under the hood 59:43 about some little fancy action you could 59:45 do but then I forgot like I got to start 59:47 with like here's the latch for the hood 59:50 you know what I mean I'm in there with 59:52 like silicone coated wires and all sorts 59:54 of crazy crap like that you don't need 59:56 all that fancy horse [ __ ] just make 59:59 yourself a GPT and go here's some emails 1:00:02 write them like that you big dumb 1:00:05 Dum all 1:00:07 right 1:00:10 Kyle can I have it right email response 1:00:13 but leave it in draft mode for review 1:00:15 before sending 1:00:18 well it's only writing the text here 1:00:21 Chachi PT actually can't send an email 1:00:23 that's see now you're getting into 1:00:27 you're instinctively going Amelio's wife 1:00:30 to where these things are going to be 1:00:32 headed which is that's an autonomous 1:00:35 agent at some point when Apple launches 1:00:37 their 1:00:39 AI or when chat GPT comes out with 1:00:41 agents you'll be able to connect your 1:00:43 email accounts and you will be able to 1:00:45 have it send the 1:00:47 email 1:00:51 um you could dial in this prompt and 1:00:54 then use something like zappier 1:00:57 to you you create like a a Google form 1:01:01 that says I want you to write an email 1:01:03 for you know this person on this 1:01:07 subject zapier will use open AI to write 1:01:10 the email using your 1:01:12 examples and then can post that as a 1:01:15 draft to your Gmail account so yes you 1:01:18 could you could make that 1:01:24 automation you you could make that 1:01:26 automation um but this is just writing 1:01:29 the text that you would copy and paste 1:01:30 into a draft 1:01:33 anyway I want a autonomous agents at 1:01:36 some point yeah I know me too like 1:01:39 autonomous agents that's going to be a 1:01:41 big deal that is what Apple intelligence 1:01:44 promises to do with our emails yep 1:01:46 exactly Hello Kitty yeah exactly 1:01:49 that's Apple's announcement was a bigger 1:01:52 deal than I think a lot of people gave 1:01:53 it credit for because a lot of it was 1:01:55 subtle um but they did it in a very 1:01:58 Apple Way like their shit's going to be 1:02:00 good and it's going to be 1:02:03 useful hang on I dropped my cards I 1:02:05 dropped my cards people hang 1:02:08 on hold 1:02:14 [Music] 1:02:17 please do you all watch all the Olympic 1:02:19 trials did you see that Katie Lei on in 1:02:22 the 5,000 m thing where she was like 1:02:27 she's got 19 of the top 20 times in the 1:02:30 world and she finished the race like a 1:02:33 minute before anyone else she was she 1:02:35 was like picking her nose blow drying 1:02:38 her hair and they're still [ __ ] the 1:02:41 second place swimmers like oh my 1:02:44 God she's like having a BLT by the pool 1:02:48 in a in a 1:02:51 sundress and this the second place 1:02:53 finishers are like this 1:02:56 this isn't 1:03:00 fair do you go live live every night at 1:03:04 8:00 pm I do go live every night at 800 1:03:08 PM because I'm not really live I'm chat 1:03:13 gp5 you can make 1:03:16 money uh yeah usually every night at 1:03:18 8:00 pm mountain time is when I go I I 1:03:21 went at 9: tonight because I had an 1:03:25 event okay Lei hold my beer exactly 1:03:28 she's smoking a cigarette she's like by 1:03:31 the poolside smoking a cigarette 1:03:33 cracking a beer talking about how she 1:03:34 was abducted by aliens and they're like 1:03:38 did did you start the race she's like oh 1:03:40 yeah I finished a few minutes ago we're 1:03:42 still swimming yeah I know it's you're 1:03:44 doing 1:03:46 [Laughter] 1:03:54 great and trials were pretty cool this 1:03:57 year Kyle version 1:04:01 5.9 I'm still in I'm still in 1:04:05 Alpha I'm in Alpha 1:04:07 Testing I I am not I am not Ive there's 1:04:11 been no red team testing on 1:04:14 me where is she from Katie Lei I think 1:04:17 she's from somewhere in the midwest um 1:04:21 where is I mean 1:04:23 us where 1:04:26 is Katie 1:04:29 Lei 1:04:38 from from Washington DC Bethesda 1:04:45 Maryland yeah so 19 of the top fastest 1:04:50 times in history are from her 1:04:58 did you see that NBC cloned Al Michaels 1:05:01 no I didn't that's kind of 1:05:05 cool did they make a big deal about that 1:05:09 NBC Al 1:05:12 Michaels 1:05:23 clone NBC's use of AI to clone Al 1:05:26 Michael's voice for the Olympic Recaps 1:05:28 raises ethical concerns does 1:05:31 it if they have permission from his 1:05:33 estate 1:05:35 [Music] 1:05:49 why's most thrilling Olympic 1:05:54 moments since you're a oneing fan let's 1:05:57 head right to the pool Team USA Security 1:05:59 stunning victory in the men's 4x100 met 1:06:02 medley relay smashing the world record 1:06:05 over at the diving venue Christa Palmer 1:06:07 showcased resilience and skill 1:06:09 overcoming past knee surgeries to 1:06:10 qualify from the women's get used to 1:06:13 this people have you seen the 11 Labs 1:06:16 reader that does Lawrence Olivier 1:06:19 now and and uh what's her 1:06:24 name um 1:06:28 Judy 1:06:29 Garland all right so I've got so if oh 1:06:33 sorry hang on he agreed to do it for 1:06:36 people to give them an overview for of 1:06:38 any part of the Olympics I [ __ ] love 1:06:41 it why 1:06:42 not did you see 1:06:48 ldgs newest short video oh Lord digital 1:06:51 Gods I did see it it was really 1:06:54 funny I love the 11 lab reader I do too 1:06:57 so check out 11 Labs reader so this is 1:07:00 11 Labs reader so if you go to the iOS 1:07:04 Store App 1:07:06 Store um you download it and then you 1:07:10 can you can upload any text file or you 1:07:13 can put in a hyperlink of a website so 1:07:16 like I put in 1:07:18 um Ethan MX blog posts because they're 1:07:21 really long and they're usually good but 1:07:23 they're long and with ADD 1:07:26 me and long articles we do not get 1:07:29 along but I can have this thing read it 1:07:33 so I can have it read it in my voice I 1:07:35 can have it read it in other people's 1:07:37 voices so I'm going to I'm going to pull 1:07:39 up a really this is a classic 1:07:41 text this is of a 1:07:46 um this is 1:07:48 a 1:07:51 publication um already a classic called 1:07:55 EMB race the 1:07:57 Jank written by one Kyle 1:08:00 Shannon who's not your typical Tech 1:08:04 Guru Kyle Shannon is not your typical 1:08:06 Tech Guru as the co-founder and CEO of 1:08:09 Story vine he's been at the Forefront of 1:08:11 digital Innovation for years but it's 1:08:13 his role as so that's Judy Garland 1:08:15 reading reading my book I can also pick 1:08:18 my own voice here's me reading my 1:08:22 book as the Creator and host of the AI 1:08:25 learning lab that's really turning 1:08:28 heads with a unique blend of irreverent 1:08:31 humor Cutting Edge insights and a let's 1:08:34 figure this [ __ ] out together and that 1:08:36 feels a little slow so I can speed it up 1:08:40 to let's go to 1.2 why is it not letting 1:08:43 me change the 1:08:47 speed Kyle is fostering a community of 1:08:50 forward thinkers who aren't just talking 1:08:51 about the future they're actively 1:08:53 shaping it the salon's journey to AI 1:08:55 literacy at in the Mantra play first 1:08:58 mindfully create and generously 1:09:04 lead what's going 1:09:06 on did I hit a 1:09:11 button all right let's 1:09:14 have sir Lawrence 1:09:17 Olivier read my book 1:09:27 all right future AI Wizards strap in 1:09:29 you're about to embark on a wild Journey 1:09:31 towards AI literacy and this book is 1:09:32 your irreverent guide forget the stuffy 1:09:34 Tech manuals we're diving into the 1:09:36 trenches of the AI learning lab where we 1:09:38 don't just theorize about AI we wrestle 1:09:39 with it daily this isn't about becoming 1:09:41 some AI Guru overnight it's about 1:09:43 embracing the messy exciting sometimes 1:09:45 ridiculous world of artificial 1:09:46 intelligence we're going to walk you 1:09:48 through the three stages of AI bad play 1:09:51 first where you'll make mistak so 1:09:56 get used 1:10:00 to familiar voices reading things 1:10:06 that you never could I could have never 1:10:08 gotten Lawrence Olivier to read my book 1:10:10 He's 1:10:14 dead but I couldn't have 1:10:16 gotten John Stewart to read it either 1:10:19 but at some point if he puts his voice 1:10:21 out there I'll be able to do that we'll 1:10:24 be able to hear 1:10:26 Al 1:10:28 Michaels a familiar voice for the 1:10:30 Olympics for all the Olympics moving 1:10:33 forward if we so choose to do that get 1:10:35 used to that what app is this so the app 1:10:38 that I was just showing is from 11 Labs 1:10:40 which does voice synthesis stuff you can 1:10:43 make clones of your own voice there if 1:10:45 you 1:10:46 do what what they have they have this 1:10:48 new app out called reader r r e a d r 1:10:52 like reader 1:10:54 reading um and it take any website any 1:10:57 text file any PDF and basically turn it 1:11:00 into a 1:11:02 podcast or an audio book however you 1:11:04 want to think about it you can have it 1:11:08 be your voice you can have it be one of 1:11:10 their voices they they've got four 1:11:13 fancy um Hollywood voices they've got 1:11:16 James Dean sir Lawrence Olivier Judy 1:11:19 Garland 1:11:21 and um who the [ __ ] was the fourth one 1:11:27 James Dean Lawrence Olivia Judy Garland 1:11:29 oh Bert 1:11:32 Reynolds cool 1:11:35 right I personally Find Claude to have 1:11:37 too many guard rails but I use it to 1:11:40 question all 1:11:43 all come 1:11:45 on all 1:11:47 contracts yeah clut claude's really good 1:11:50 at analyzing text oh that's a new thing 1:11:52 let me show you a new thing with Claude 1:11:54 that I that I have haven't I haven't 1:11:56 played with this so you're going to be 1:11:59 watching this in real 1:12:01 time as it's uh 1:12:04 Bert you're going to be watching me play 1:12:06 in real time I haven't text so we're 1:12:08 going to go to 1:12:10 Claude start new 1:12:13 chat 1:12:17 okay so if you're new to 1:12:22 Claude if you have a paid subscription 1:12:25 to it which it's not a bad idea to 1:12:29 do and you click on your name in the 1:12:31 lower leftand corner it'll you know 1:12:33 brings up your settings and all that 1:12:35 underneath settings is this thing called 1:12:37 feature preview click on that and 1:12:40 there's this new thing called 1:12:43 artifacts turn it 1:12:45 on there's no reason not to turn it on I 1:12:48 don't know why they don't default it to 1:12:49 turning on CU it's 1:12:53 janky I guess as they're thinking but 1:12:55 turn that [ __ ] 1:12:57 on and then watch what Claude can do 1:13:00 with coding so I'm going to say um let's 1:13:10 see I want you to create a clone of the 1:13:13 classic video game 1:13:16 asteroids that 1:13:17 includes a nicely drawn ship in the 1:13:21 shape of a 1:13:22 triangle that shoots Flames out the back 1:13:27 and Jagged 1:13:29 rocks that explode into smaller rocks 1:13:32 when they were hit period also includes 1:13:35 some sound effect effects 1:13:39 for thrust 1:13:43 fire 1:13:44 explosion and the ship being destroyed 1:13:48 period make sure you include some 1:13:51 scoring elements too period take me back 1:13:55 to the 1:13:57 70s like the good gen xer I am 1:14:02 [Laughter] 1:14:05 period now watch what it'll 1:14:08 do generating so it splits off this 1:14:11 separate window and it's writing all 1:14:14 this 1:14:16 code and it 1:14:24 should just spin up a playable version 1:14:27 of 1:14:28 asteroids cuz I asked for 1:14:32 it if you've never seen a large language 1:14:35 model write code before this should be 1:14:39 mindblowing okay the the sound [ __ ] it 1:14:42 up okay 1:14:44 so it looks 1:14:52 like it looks like 1:14:58 your code used an unsupported library 1:15:01 for the sound 1:15:03 elements why don't you write a version 1:15:05 without sound for now and then we can 1:15:07 add it later 1:15:12 period you're absolutely right I 1:15:14 apologize for that thank you for 1:15:16 catching that we're going to create one 1:15:18 without sound effects for now okay 1:15:39 sh Kyle watch the Youtube video Claud 1:15:42 system prompt oh wow cool look uh let's 1:15:45 see let me click in the window 1:15:50 here how do I start 1:15:57 how do I thrust 1:16:01 wait 1:16:03 okay so it's 1:16:05 broken so I can go back over here and I 1:16:07 can 1:16:09 go the game over text remains on screen 1:16:13 even when I'm playing period the bullet 1:16:15 shoots out of the side of the ship and 1:16:18 should shoot out of the front pointy 1:16:23 part the asteroid roids should not be 1:16:26 symmetrical 1:16:28 period make this 100 1:16:33 times closer to the original 1:16:43 game so it's going to rewrite 1:16:47 it and this is cool like if you've never 1:16:50 done programming before Collision 1:16:52 detection if you've never done 1:16:54 programming before you can kind of watch 1:16:56 what this is doing like it's 1:16:58 constructing FPS frames per second 60 1:17:01 ship size 30 turn speed 360 ship thrust 1:17:06 five right it's setting all these 1:17:09 parameters and then it's writing all 1:17:11 this code to do all the math to make all 1:17:14 this [ __ ] 1:17:16 work just 1:17:21 amazing just amazing 1:17:26 with Amazing 1:17:28 Grace how we Des 1:17:35 sound 1:17:37 uh got an 1:17:39 error period unexpected 1:17:42 token expected semicolon at 1:17:50 326 I apologize for the error it seems 1:17:53 the code was cut off unexpectedly 1:17:56 huh 1:18:05 interesting but anyway once we get this 1:18:08 slightly running I'm going to show you 1:18:10 the cool new thing that they added today 1:18:30 maybe you should have only asked to make 1:18:31 it 10 times 1:18:33 [Laughter] 1:18:38 better I has to tell it what to be 1:18:42 interactive 1:18:47 for same 1:18:53 error please do 1:18:59 better I 1:19:01 apologize you're right I should do 1:19:04 better let me provide complete working 1:19:07 version of the code I have a feeling 1:19:08 this is too much code and it's it's it's 1:19:10 just crapping out because of some 1:19:14 limitations 1:19:37 oh is it working I think it might be 1:19:52 working all right this sucks but 1:19:55 [Laughter] 1:20:03 ah I'm going to start 1:20:08 over make a simple clone of the 1:20:12 asteroids video 1:20:16 game with Jagged 1:20:22 asteroids and a Sleek looking [ __ ] 1:20:32 [Music] 1:20:40 it's doing it in HTML 5 this time I 1:20:42 don't know what it was doing 1:20:43 before tell it to use the least amount 1:20:46 of code possible yeah that's not a bad 1:20:49 idea oh this looks better except there's 1:20:53 no Collision detection 1:20:59 and there's no 1:21:02 okay so I'll just 1:21:06 go the asteroids are too the asteroids 1:21:09 are too fast and have double walls 1:21:14 period the fire button doesn't work and 1:21:19 it doesn't appear that there's any 1:21:20 Collision detection period please fix 1:21:27 [Music] 1:21:31 adding a firing 1:21:34 mechanism implementing Collision 1:21:38 detection 1:21:42 sh so the thing to pay attention to this 1:21:44 new button down in the bottom right hand 1:21:47 corner is 1:21:49 publish so I can now publish this 1:21:54 artifact so other people can 1:22:02 play Oh game over ah console all 1:22:06 right how do I start 1:22:22 over all right so this works 1:22:33 okay 1:22:36 um when the game is over it displays the 1:22:39 console period don't display the console 1:22:43 just display the word game 1:22:46 over and tell the user what key to hit 1:22:49 to start again 1:22:51 period also add some thrust fire at the 1:22:55 back of the 1:22:58 rocket and make 1:23:02 the bullets it fires 1:23:06 brighter 1:23:08 period also make the 1:23:13 asteroids 1:23:19 nonsymmetrical Frogger is easier to 1:23:21 create Kyle yeah I should probably do 1:23:23 Frogger shouldn't I Frogger doesn't have 1:23:25 a lot of math in it this one's got so 1:23:27 much [ __ ] math in it it's like P P's 1:23:31 looking at this gun god the math in this 1:23:33 game exhausts me what are we trying to 1:23:36 do here go into orbit it worked last 1:23:38 time what happened well welcome to large 1:23:40 language 1:23:41 models embrace the Jank embrace the Jank 1:23:45 here we are and embrace the Jank yeah 1:23:51 yeah game over press enter to restart 1:23:58 all 1:24:07 right I can't see the asteroids I can't 1:24:10 see the asteroids at all 1:24:15 now and the press enter to restart is 1:24:18 too big 1:24:36 I would like for this to be a semi 1:24:37 functional game 1:24:59 yeah it doesn't work anyway I can now 1:25:01 publish this so if I say 1:25:04 publish publish and copy link 1:25:07 unpublished only you have access publish 1:25:09 and copy 1:25:11 link published copy link so I can 1:25:17 now go 1:25:22 into the AI learning lab we're going to 1:25:25 go into 1:25:27 regulars we're going to go look at new 1:25:29 activities see if anyone's making fun of 1:25:31 me stay home agoraphobia 1:25:35 [Laughter] 1:25:40 GPT all right so there's our CLA 1:25:43 artifact uh we're going to say this is 1:25:46 the 1:25:48 crappy Asteroids 1:25:51 game 1:25:53 please fix 1:25:56 so you should be able 1:25:59 now if I post 1:26:02 this you should be able 1:26:05 to click on this thing and go play with 1:26:12 it you're viewing a user generated 1:26:14 artifact show the 1:26:17 content plus press enter to restart 1:26:26 you can't see the asteroids oh there 1:26:27 they 1:26:33 are not exactly challenging at this 1:26:36 speed and size 1:26:39 but but you should be able to go play 1:26:41 this game 1:26:44 now actually the speed of this ship is 1:26:47 really good I actually like it a lot I 1:26:50 like the physics of this this feels 1:26:54 it doesn't have another level it only 1:26:57 had three asteroids on level one and no 1:27:00 asteroids on the other level do you have 1:27:03 to be a paid member to publish I assume 1:27:05 yeah I think you have to be a paid 1:27:06 member to have access to 1:27:08 artifacts and so therefore you can't 1:27:10 publish but I 1:27:12 assume that you don't need to be um a 1:27:16 paid member to use it but see the button 1:27:19 down here remix 1:27:22 artifact take this art effect with you 1:27:25 into a new 1:27:26 chat with Claude and evolve it with your 1:27:29 own unique 1:27:31 spin so that would be fun actually if 1:27:33 you guys want to do that if anyone has 1:27:35 access to Claude 1:27:42 stuff feel free to take that thing and 1:27:46 iterate it and make it better and then 1:27:47 repost it into the Irregulars 1:27:50 Channel pretty cool right 1:27:55 so this is this is automated application 1:27:59 development without needing to know any 1:28:01 code and I can publish the game 1:28:05 now apparently po has already made 1:28:08 something like artifacts that works for 1:28:11 all the AIS that can 1:28:14 code yeah they they po announced 1:28:17 something like artifacts three or four 1:28:19 days 1:28:20 ago and yeah that it can do it with all 1:28:23 of its models 1:28:27 so let me try to remix this and 1:28:30 say level one doesn't have enough 1:28:33 asteroids and there doesn't appear to be 1:28:36 any levels after that period there 1:28:39 should also be 1:28:40 scoring that remains persistent on 1:28:43 screen period and you should add some 1:28:46 cool sound 1:28:52 effects excellent suggestion 1:29:03 question let's go see 1:29:06 po now I don't know po well 1:29:12 enough I can't I can't it's everything's 1:29:16 too janky right 1:29:18 now it makes me 1:29:21 whiny we're dug and Wy Wier we got 1:29:27 [Music] 1:29:28 diverticulitis yeah Peter yeah hey 1:29:32 yeah we're going to need you to go on 1:29:35 ahead and come on in on Saturday 1:29:42 yeah how why why is it just 1:29:51 dying I'm dying immediately without even 1:29:53 seeing an asteroid period you should 1:29:56 start level one with asteroids on 1:29:59 screen period your Collision detection 1:30:02 is a 1:30:08 mess you're making Kyle cry quit it I 1:30:12 don't want to go to Poe Poe's too messy 1:30:16 pose interface makes my head hurt 1:30:18 there's too many choices I don't like 1:30:21 their interface cuz it's not exactly 1:30:23 like what I already know I don't want to 1:30:25 learn new things this is making me 1:30:35 annoyed what's going on 1:30:38 here claud's response was 1:30:41 limited because it hit the maximum 1:30:43 length alloud at this time 1:30:47 try again 1:31:20 G maybe asteroids should just say kaboy 1:31:23 that's actually not bad 1:31:25 I like 1:31:26 [Laughter] 1:31:29 that oh 1:31:36 man oh sound effects 1:32:11 I'm still dying before my ship hits an 1:32:14 asteroid sometimes instantaneously 1:32:17 period and also there should be a loud 1:32:20 explosion if the ship hits an 1:32:22 asteroid period 1:32:27 also your shooting 1:32:29 sound sounds more like pong it should 1:32:32 sound like a spaceship shooting a laser 1:32:37 darn 1:32:38 it you 1:32:40 dumb 1:32:42 computer period don't be so 1:32:45 dumb period be smarter period you know 1:32:50 like you got a degree or something 1:32:52 period you know like me I'm super 1:32:56 smart and I don't brag about it so why 1:33:00 don't you act that smart 1:33:03 period this is I've got a new prompt 1:33:06 Mastery prompt engineering Mastery by 1:33:10 Kyle Shannon course coming up where you 1:33:12 too can learn to talk to your computer 1:33:16 as if it was a dumb 1:33:17 Dum it will make your prompting 1:33:21 experience so much more better for the 1:33:24 low lad price of 1:33:28 $49.95 per prompt it's so good to to use 1:33:33 the on the computer with your mouth 1:33:37 Parts not 1:33:39 9.99 for $9.99 to you too could learn to 1:33:44 prompt like the Masters 1:33:49 [Laughter] 1:33:55 uh ooh 1:34:00 ooh ooh 1:34:03 [Laughter] 1:34:09 ooh this is bad this is bad this is how 1:34:14 bad programming looks negative prompt 1:34:16 affirmations only 9.99 call down get 1:34:19 Kyle's digital twin for free operat 1:34:21 standing by 1:34:28 oh Claude you big dumb 1:34:31 dumb if you're sitting here thinking 1:34:34 like Kyle that's horrible why why can it 1:34:37 not code real good 1:34:40 like do you recognize what it's 1:34:45 doing I'm acting like an idiot and it's 1:34:48 writing mostly functional code 1:34:56 if you've never seen these things do 1:34:57 that they do 1:35:00 that effective Communications through 1:35:03 mouth breathing 1:35:10 exactly H I use drawings I found it 1:35:13 better actually yeah starting with the 1:35:14 drawing is probably the best way to do 1:35:20 it all right people I'm getting 1:35:22 sleepy um 1:35:26 that was some good some good stuff 1:35:27 tonight we made a we made a crappy GPT 1:35:30 that didn't work and then we made a 1:35:31 crappy Asteroids game that didn't 1:35:33 work you at this point you're like I'm 1:35:36 not even going to ask him what his 1:35:38 qualifications are because it seems 1:35:39 pretty it seems pretty self-evident what 1:35:42 the qualifications are here in this 1:35:45 channel AI learning lab my 1:35:48 ass AI maybe the professor needs a 1:35:52 lesson lab my ass 1:35:54 [Laughter] 1:36:00 I'm prompting chat GPT right now for the 1:36:02 same game good awesome Aloha from your 1:36:05 friends in honolu Hawaii hello Against 1:36:08 The Storm what's 1:36:12 happening that's 1:36:14 fantastic how long before an AI song 1:36:17 hits the top 10 have you heard a Randy 1:36:20 the Randy Travis AI song I haven't heard 1:36:22 the Randy Travis one 1:36:25 um I think that we will 1:36:28 see I think that we'll see an 1:36:33 AI song 1:36:35 charting 1:36:38 probably within a year maybe 1:36:44 two and 1:36:48 then I wonder if the if the 1:36:51 academy for motion picture Arts and 1:36:54 Sciences is going to create an AI 1:36:58 category that would be stupid but it 1:37:00 wouldn't surprise 1:37:07 me I have a feel I have a feeling 1:37:09 there's going to be some award-winning 1:37:11 film it might be like an animated short 1:37:14 or something like that but I have a 1:37:15 feeling there's going to be an 1:37:17 award-winning AI film that we find out 1:37:20 it was AI after the fact or something 1:37:22 like that 1:37:24 yeah I think I think we're going to 1:37:27 start seeing cloned voices of people we 1:37:29 know or ourselves or family 1:37:35 members regularly we're going to see 1:37:37 them I guess we're going to hear Al 1:37:40 Michaels in the Olympics this 1:37:43 year yeah get get used to this stuff 1:37:46 it's going to start getting weird but 1:37:48 again I you know we'll we'll adapt very 1:37:51 quickly like I have a feeling this stuff 1:37:53 is going to normalize very very quickly 1:37:56 we're just going to get used to the fact 1:37:57 that you just like speak video games 1:37:59 into 1:38:00 existence and they're not going to be 1:38:02 like 1:38:03 shitty 7s arcade games we're going to be 1:38:06 speaking AAA 1:38:11 quality games into existence probably 1:38:14 within 3 1:38:15 years and then you could probably watch 1:38:18 it as a movie play it as a game enter it 1:38:22 as a virtual reality 1:38:27 scenario turn it into a song download 1:38:30 the 1:38:32 soundtrack write poems about 1:38:36 it or turn it into a business plan and 1:38:40 then start the 1:38:42 [Laughter] 1:38:43 business it's going to get [ __ ] weird 1:38:46 people am I late steo what are you doing 1:38:50 you're late the Randy Travis song was 1:38:53 excellent nice 1:38:55 we likely have them artist just sings it 1:38:59 yeah probably 1:39:04 exactly training video games is going to 1:39:06 be ill it's going to be lit yep I 1:39:11 agree oh training videos are going to be 1:39:13 lit yeah training videos are going to be 1:39:15 really 1:39:17 good training videos that know exactly 1:39:22 where you are give you EX exactly the 1:39:24 information you 1:39:26 need show you exactly the part that 1:39:29 you're screwing up 1:39:31 slowly and it'll be positive it'll be 1:39:34 like all right Jim I know this is the 1:39:37 17th time we've tried to put this 1:39:39 assembly together you're doing 1:39:42 fantastic let's see if we can get over 1:39:44 Step 13 this time 13 seems to be your 1:39:47 unlucky number Jim 1:39:56 Jim you did it you got past level 13 oh 1:39:59 oh well looks like uh looks like we got 1:40:01 to try again Jim level 14 got you this 1:40:04 time 1:40:05 [Laughter] 1:40:13 oops I want to be the voice of all these 1:40:19 AI hey Bob jelly buies won he hasn't 1:40:23 want a thing we're not we're not in a 1:40:24 video game this is this is serious 1:40:26 training we're teaching someone how to 1:40:29 reconstruct the nuclear Drive of a 1:40:33 uh a Polaris class submarine so uh we're 1:40:37 not going to be joking about game show 1:40:39 references if you know what I mean 1:40:41 that's fantastic Bob tell him what he's 1:40:43 W 1:40:44 anyway yeah we're not doing this we're 1:40:46 we're in the Navy we're we're not 1:40:48 jokesters okay we're teaching someone 1:40:51 how to put together an assembly Jim 1:40:55 Seaman Jim Jim 1:40:58 Seaman see if we can get past step 14 1:41:00 this time shall we all right let's try 1:41:03 again 1:41:06 fantastic training someone how to do 1:41:08 brain surgery oh yeah sorry no we lost 1:41:11 another yeah nope yeah see that 1:41:13 twitching of the foot not good not good 1:41:15 we're we're trying to avoid the 1:41:17 twitching of the foot yeah yeah no just 1:41:20 uh let's uh let's bring another body in 1:41:23 let's bring another body in okay there 1:41:25 you go yep and uh all right yep let's 1:41:28 drill the hole perfect don't go too 1:41:31 deep be the third time today you went 1:41:34 too deep yep just uh just below you just 1:41:36 want to penetrate perfect there you go 1:41:39 looking good up wrong location yeah 1:41:42 we're going to well so yep put the put 1:41:45 the plug back in and uh we're going to 1:41:48 be on the right hemisphere that's the 1:41:50 right hemisphere yeah is where we're 1:41:52 going to want to drill the hole this 1:41:53 time time yep fantast no I I have 1:41:56 infinite patience I've been been 1:41:58 programmed to have infinite patience 1:41:59 this is uh human beings uh on the table 1:42:04 here uh alive human beings uh who 1:42:06 volunteered for this absolutely so let's 1:42:09 just try the right side of the SK that's 1:42:12 still the left side but in the front 1:42:14 yeah no you're going to want to go to 1:42:15 the other side in the posterior y y 1:42:19 that's that's fantastic okay drill oh oh 1:42:22 went too deep again all right we're 1:42:24 going to need another body uh Bob Bob 1:42:28 we're out of bodies for today okay well 1:42:31 all right uh unfortunate day uh I think 1:42:35 we've got some lessons we can take home 1:42:37 around 8:00 1:46:44 p.m. mountain 1:46:45 time 1:46:47 and you never this is like Forest Gump 1:46:51 territory it's like box of chocolate you 1:46:53 never know what you're going to get some 1:46:55 nights are the tasty almond caramel with 1:46:59 a little peanut butter strip in there 1:47:01 [ __ ] 1:47:02 delicious other nights are like tonight 1:47:04 where you bite into the chocolate and 1:47:06 it's like a tuac Crest toothpaste it's 1:47:10 just [ __ ] awful and that's sometimes 1:47:14 you get that and you know there's some 1:47:16 people that like the toothpaste in the 1:47:19 chocolate but they're 1:47:22 wrong so so keep coming back to this be 1:47:26 in this conversation join the AI Salon 1:47:29 all right keep experimenting if I do 1:47:32 nothing else I should give you
