11. 2:25where to get started and we'll answer questions I actually had an idea about how to do how to balance things a bit more between
12. 2:33showing stuff and answering questions although it's a little tough to show stuff clearly but I got some ideas a little experiment tonight
13. 2:48see if we can get some more people in here if you'd be willing go ahead and share the uh share the live
14. 2:56and we'll see if we can get some more folks in here and then we get started fantastic Bob tell him what he's won well

18. 3:30Tick Tock is Slow Rolling the Live tonight um when can I play a whole DND campaign with AI pretty sure you can do it right now sport cloud
19. 3:42um especially with uh have you tried it with Claude claude.ai because club's got a 75 000 token context window
20. 3:52so if you tell Claude to act like a d d dungeon master and which Edition you wanted to use which rule set I don't know if I can do the whole
21. 4:03campaign but it could probably get pretty close because with a 75 000 or it's a hundred thousand tokens it's about 75 000 words
22. 4:11you know like a 50 000 word novel you can just paste right into Claude and it can ingest the whole thing yeah 100K but about 75 000 words
23. 4:21um yeah try that sport Cloud that could work and this is check this out I did this the other day I had chat GPT
24. 4:38um come up with different oh wait pictures and locations and then had it right so so what was cool about this this project so I went
25. 4:51into Claude and I had Claude hey ion China I had Claude thank you for the rose I found an article on sdxl so someone
26. 5:05had written a like a blog post a decently long article on stable diffusions sdx sdxl's model and what the
27. 5:13different you know sort of attributes are and so I I put the article into Claude and started asking it questions about it
28. 5:21and then I thought oh maybe I could have it make me a set of prompts based on that and then I said well why don't I
29. 5:26come up with a category and I had to come up with four categories and do some prompts for each of the categories and
30. 5:32one of the categories was fantasy and I thought oh that's really cool and so so I had it um generate you know a name
31. 5:42let's see let me make this a little bit smaller how to generate a title like Dwarven cleric a name brother ironbeard
32. 5:52and then a prompt and then optional elements and then I literally just and with the prompt I had it also give me an
33. 5:59aspect ratio like depending on what you prompt make it either you know uh portrait or landscape depending on you know what you do and then
34. 6:11it gave me four different categories so these are the characters let's see and I mean they came out good I came out
35. 6:26really good and then here are the creatures nice little unicorn mermaid Giant baby dragon what's that thing a
36. 6:41displacer beast that cat looking thing little dragon fairy and then here's the landscapes Serene Springs
37. 6:55that thing's cool so and this was I mean what's cool about this what what what took me the longest to do was
38. 7:05copy and paste the prompts into and then here are the structures um copy and paste the prompts into mid
39. 7:13journey and then curate the best ones out right and sometimes I would do like you know three or four different renders
40. 7:20like this ship was hard they were they were close but they didn't quite capture like the The Prompt says tattered sales
41. 7:27and this was the one that had the most tattered sales it wasn't quite the sexiest ship but it it you know looked good
42. 7:35so like look at that thing so this was just it's just like a whole world of you know artwork and things like that so you
43. 7:46could probably do some really interesting things playing with uh with that all right how many folks are in here got

45. 8:02how I like to start out these little evenings happy Saturday night by the way is uh if if you're new to this stuff and
46. 8:13you're like where do I start but where do I start Kyle I don't know where to start where to start is this top one
47. 8:22chat.openai.com so that is the official chat CPT website um what's going on I wonder if my cameras are dirty I think my cameras might be
48. 8:34dirty but whatever um that's the official chat GPT website these three are kind of the top three that I play with I bounce in between them
49. 8:44um last night last night Bard was at the Kitty table and I moved Bard up to the top three because uh Bing is just really
50. 8:53annoying with how how much safety stuff it's got on it so um that's chat EBT Claude is the one I just talked about with the DND thing
51. 9:01where it's got a hundred thousand token context window and then Bard is Google's entry into this space it's connected to
52. 9:08the internet they they incorporate internet links in a pretty sophisticated way and it's not horrible
53. 9:15and apparently this fall they're they're going to be releasing Gemini which is supposed to be amazing they claim it's
54. 9:22going to be five times better than gpt4 I will believe that when I see it but they do have a lot of data so it's
55. 9:30possible that they did some kick-ass training so that's that stuff um okay other things to play with Bing like
56. 9:42I said it's a bit of a it's safety guard rails or a bit of a pain in the ass but it is connected to the internet
57. 9:49you can likely use it within a business it can generate images you just say create an image of X and it will do it
58. 9:55it can read images you can upload an image to it and tell it to describe it to you and it will perplexity.ai is a good research tool
59. 10:04labs.perplexity.ai is them hosting meta's llama 2 models for free and their code llama model which is which is sort
60. 10:13of a a fine-tuned version sitting on top of it that's really good at coding Pi dot AI is fascinating uh we we here at
61. 10:22the lab have nicknamed it chatty GPT so go to Pi dot AI or go get the PI app so just look for pi and then personal
62. 10:32assistant and you'll find the app the company is inflection put it into voice mode and start talking to it
63. 10:38if you want to actually get work done like you do with chat GPT Pi's not your answer but if you want to talk to it to
64. 10:45one of these models and kind of get a sense of what the future is like that's what that is and then pogo.com is
65. 10:51another one to play with that I think is is at least worth it at least worth exploring good Lord the tongue ain't
66. 10:59working tonight what is winter tongue what is going on okay now you're saying but but Kyle all those are just the
67. 11:07words and I'm not good with words I don't like words words words words everyone's talking about words all the time I like pretty pictures
68. 11:15where are the pretty pictures Kyle here you go here you go right here these are the ones I would recommend
69. 11:21playing with right now the best one is mid-journey however it doesn't do words ideogram is like seven days old eight days old and it
70. 11:32does words really interesting technology in fact uh bat image and those words were made with ideogram
71. 11:47so pretty cool huh pretty cool well that's part of Coco I didn't know it could do that oh yeah it can do that
72. 11:56um what else uh Leonardo and clip drop are sitting on top of stable diffusion which is another interesting tool if
73. 12:03you're geeky go play with automatic 11 11 but these are two non-geeky tools you can play with and then prompt book that
74. 12:09will teach you all of the [ __ ] that these things know and they know a lot and it'll teach you how to talk to them
75. 12:15it's designed for stable diffusion but it's good for all of them okay now uh Luna stick what's happening howdy hey hey hey hey hey hey hey

79. 12:47demo stuff what I was thinking I would do tonight is I'll start answering some questions and then at some point if it's just

103. 16:17AI can now play Minecraft as well as you that's not really a Minecraft mod here special AI Minecraft mods
104. 16:28simple AI Minecraft version there's a lot of stuff so what I would do Bijan is and hello by the way what I would do is I would go to Reddit
105. 16:39look up Minecraft AI mods just basically do that I guarantee you there's a subreddit where there's I'm guessing that there are a pile of uh
106. 16:52projects that are githubs or Google collab notebooks that you can play with that are doing all sorts of fancy [ __ ] and then I know I know
107. 17:02um I'm thinking blockade Labs that's not it um Roblox I know Roblox um has announced that they're incorporating or may have Incorporated
108. 17:14let's see Roblox AI Roblox blog in February our vision for the future
109. 17:31yeah but that was February what are they doing now I know you have a vision for the future have you actually done anything
110. 17:43March 21st Roblox launches first generative AI game creation tools yeah so Roblox and Minecraft I think there's
111. 17:51a ton of stuff out there already um I'm not deep in that world I don't know it but I know it's I know there's

143. 22:39AI can do things like actually answer questions what is that [ __ ] error Why didn't it work maybe you could diagnose the bug and
144. 22:47send that to the development team and actually tell me what's going on without me having to wait for customer support

146. 23:06with a very dirty screen it's like it's like my laptop came from burning man so it's all muddy here we are chat gbt
147. 23:21um if you don't know within chat GPT there's a thing called custom instructions and I did kind of a joke version of this last night
148. 23:31but what custom instructions do is it's it's a form of fine-tuning it's what I think it's actually fine-tuning where
149. 23:38you're going to basically tell chat gbt either who it is or who you are and how you want it to respond and so
150. 23:46yesterday I I said you're a pompous over intellectual academic who fancies themselves a theatrical you take great
151. 23:54pleasure in using large words that neither you or your audience understands in an attempt to make yourself seem way
152. 24:01smarter than they are so so I kind of did this joke thing and actually this is fun I'll turn it on and we'll play so
153. 24:08basically what I said is no matter what anyone asks respond with an obscure reference to a Broadway play or a piece of overly
154. 24:16flowery literature and include a quote from that piece um when you answer um answer them as if you're Tennessee
155. 24:25Williams writing a masterpiece so I'm going to save that so now no matter what I do within Chachi BT I say uh I'm thinking about Mountain

180. 29:11first week of October we need to approach your preparation strategically since we're starting at a low Fitness level focus on gradually

187. 30:23recognizes that I'm a clueless newbie and so it says go go understand what the hell you're getting into cost breakdown
188. 30:31for the trip flights 1500 2500 yeah yeah sure sure climbing permit for K2 10 to 20 or 10 to 12 Grand National Park and conservation
189. 30:43fees 500 to 1000 guided Expedition package 20 to 30 grand gear 1500 to 3 Grand mountaineering course thousand to two thousand
190. 30:55so there you have it total range 40 to 60 Grand excluding personal expenses boom there you have it so that should help
191. 31:05with the uh understanding Uh custom instructions too where you can sort of Bend Bend this thing to your to your will
192. 31:13you could also put examples of your writing in there like if you wanted it to write you know business emails rather than
193. 31:21just saying hey you're someone good at writing business emails you could say hey you're the CEO of this company that

195. 31:33how I like to structure emails and then when you say you know whenever I ask you to write an email please
196. 31:39follow the tone of that and follow the structure and you know any other writings you know should be inspired by
197. 31:45that as well it'll do that it'll do it like that brilliantly so yeah yeah there we go there you have

214. 34:39that will teach you how to talk to these things here's the biggest thing I can I can share with you that that really opened my eyes and and
215. 34:51just made things better if you treat chat GPT like Google it's shitty so basically if you give it a shitty
216. 35:02prompt it's going to give you a shitty generic answer and it's just it's the nature of how these things actually work
217. 35:08they need a lot of context because they've been trained on so much data there's there's so much data so basically these were
218. 35:16trained on as much of the public internet as openai could get their hands on for the gpt4 model and the gpt3 model
219. 35:24and you know they're doing more and more each time but but the fancy one right now is gpt4 so so just greatly simplified
220. 35:34sitting within gpt4 is everything that's put on been put on the public internet for the past 35 or 40 years okay so it's
221. 35:43a lot it knows a lot the problem with that is what's on the internet for the past 35 or 40 years is good stuff bad stuff
222. 35:52inaccurate stuff crappy stuff brilliant stuff right and so when you just say answer this question for me it will sort
223. 36:01of look at all of the internet and it basically is just a probability engine and it goes word by word and says what's
224. 36:07the next most probable word to to answer this question so if it doesn't have a lot of context if it doesn't have a lot
225. 36:13of details about what you want it's just pulling from any old wear and you'll tend to get really generic [ __ ] or more
226. 36:21what they call hallucinating or just answer is weird and lies it's you know I like to call it mansplaining as a
227. 36:29service like like every good man in your life it will confidently answer you even if it's wrong aren't we awesome um
228. 36:37so that's so so it's like that if you give it kind of kind of weak kind of Google kind of answers right Google
229. 36:43taught us just give me just the facts ma'am um so what prompts.chat will teach you first of all there's some primers in
230. 36:51there that will teach you you know talk to you about how large language models work and how to talk to them
231. 36:56it will also uh if you were here when I just did the custom instructions there's a bunch of prompts in here where you can
232. 37:02tell it to act like a screenwriter or act like a um a strategist or act like a marketing expert or act like a nutritionist or act
233. 37:11like a mountain climbing dude um and and that really helps provide the context so that's so tip number one is
234. 37:18just start to understand how they work and how they're different than what we're used to the second thing is this
235. 37:26these things get much better if you kind of have a rolling conversation with them so rather than trying to write the perfect single prompt
236. 37:35start a conversation say hey here's who I want you to be I want you to be an expert at this kind of thing and here's
237. 37:41who I am and what's going on thank you Nicholas for the hottie hot hot um and here's what I've got going on and
238. 37:49here's the problem I'm trying to solve do you understand yes I understand and based on what you've told me and it'll
239. 37:54give you a whole bunch of [ __ ] and then you're like okay great glad you understand but what I really want to know is X Y or
240. 38:00Z and it'll give you an answer and if it gives you a crappy answer tell it it gave you a crappy answer hey I happen to
241. 38:06be an expert on this and the point number three that you made is actually inaccurate oh I'm so sorry you're

272. 43:43to use kanban and then we're going to use this and then we're going to use that and then we're going to use
273. 43:47Microsoft Word then we're going to use sheets and just everything's [ __ ] complicated we're gonna do single sign-on but
274. 43:53there's there's 15 different logins for each person because something [ __ ] up back in 1987 and it hasn't been fixed
275. 44:01yet and so there's this ever cascading nightmare of complicated [ __ ] and um half of the companies on Windows and
276. 44:08half of them's on Mac and and the ones on Windows know how to fix their preferences but but most of them are
277. 44:14don't aren't willing to do it the ones on Mac don't know how to do it because they've never been taught to do it and
278. 44:19just everything's [ __ ] complicated so so I think the thing that is the greatest burden is is just everything takes longer than it should

287. 45:43to do's and it's now going to recap what was said and you're going to be able to just pull that out instantly so I think I think if
288. 45:53if I were to take a a generic approach to how I would think about incorporating all of these AI Tools in my business is
289. 46:03I would just look at where is the [ __ ] ridiculously over complicated and then I would just try to simplify it
290. 46:10how can this [ __ ] simplify it maybe you do an automation using zapier where you're doing calls to open Ai and
291. 46:17anytime when anytime someone asks a question in this slack Channel it actually goes you know to the internet
292. 46:24and searches for news articles and then it sends the links of those to open Ai and it writes a summary and posts that
293. 46:31back to slack so you could have a little research Channel there I don't know maybe that because maybe you have a
294. 46:36research Channel and it's just clogged up with people having side conversations and I found this and I found that and I
295. 46:43found this and I found that and four or five hours of every every day are just wasted with people screwing around sort
296. 46:51of re searching but not quite getting there and it's because it's over complicated so I think simplifying the complicated
297. 46:59is the thing that's going to make these things I think it's the killer app for for AI the generative part is really
298. 47:05interesting generate content generate all this but in the end it's really just about simplifying right you take simple
299. 47:12inputs you process them through this magic machine and you get out remarkable answers on the other side if you haven't
300. 47:19played Brian with um chat GPT is what used to be called code interpreter it's now called Advanced data analytics
301. 47:30you can upload files to it like CSV files or PDFs and start have it will start analyzing that data for you
302. 47:41and it'll even create charts and graphs I did one last night where someone said can you what's a tool that I can use to map Geo
303. 47:51data onto a map right and so we went and got some fake data we got some Chipotle locations and in the data set that we
304. 47:59got there were all the Chipotle locations and then there was Json that described the shape of all the states
305. 48:05and So within I don't know 10 minutes this thing analyzed what the data set was what was in it and then I said
306. 48:13create a map of the United States with all of the locations of Chipotle on them and it did it in it just wrote python
307. 48:21code executed it so that idea of taking things that are overly complicated and and then figuring out what AI tools

331. 51:55um to the AI I think the gating Factor will be the speed of AI processing so current AI because it's got you know a half a second lag um
332. 52:05is going to be slow but if you look at if you pay attention to what um what Apple announced with the Vision Pro um there would there's some
333. 52:21really fancy [ __ ] technology you know there were there are 9 000 patents in The Vision Pro goggles nine thousand
334. 52:31um some crazy ass [ __ ] like that um but but one of the things that Apple's built into that Hardware is this
335. 52:37thing called the R1 chip so it's got all these cameras and sensors and just all this stuff going on there there's four cameras you know two
336. 52:46pointing at each eye and one of the things that um that the Vision Pro does which this is mind-blowing so it's looking at your eyes right
337. 53:00it's actually measuring micro contractions of your iris to determine emotional response so the way the interface Works
338. 53:12apparently I haven't played with it but the way the interface works is when you look at an icon it'll select it
339. 53:19what what's actually happening in this R1 chip is that it's taking the emotional responses from from your iris contractions and as you
340. 53:31look toward an icon it knows if you're about to click on it and if you're about to click on it it starts pre-loading that application in
341. 53:39the background so that it so that the system appears more more instant than it actually is so they're solving something
342. 53:48that neurolink also solves which is how do you anticipate how do you sort of essentially think faster than humans can process
343. 53:56um so that it's it occurs as magic um so Apple's going to be able to do that without sticking something in your brain
344. 54:05um and and I think a lot of a lot of companies will follow suit but yeah I think neuralink's really interesting there's a um
345. 54:12I I mean is it sort of creepy and weird yeah a lot of this stuff is creepy and weird I just got my Iris skin to get a
346. 54:19uh blockchain ID that verifies I'm human Sam Altman's new company called worldcoin um you can get it you can get it done in
347. 54:27New York San Francisco and Miami right now I think that's the only place in the states although but at this point
348. 54:32they're probably expanding it but I did that why did I do that well I think verifying people having a verified human
349. 54:39on the other end of a transaction is going to be really important in a world where we got fake [ __ ] everywhere so I
350. 54:46think it's actually important and I also think it's just an interesting experiment um but um so so a lot of this stuff's kind
351. 54:53of creepy but there's things like there was a guy in Italy uh um he was paralyzed from a motorcycle accident
352. 55:02for the last 12 years and they use generative AI they did brain scans of him fmri scans when he was thinking about moving his legs
353. 55:13and then they took electrodes from uh from they had him think about um moving his legs they pressed that that signal through AI
354. 55:27sent a Bluetooth signal around the injured part of his spine two electrodes in his lower spine and now he's walking
355. 55:40so I know that the initial neural link applications are going to be [ __ ] like that you know brain injuries spinal injuries um
356. 55:51you know other kinds of brain conditions where you can essentially route around certain parts of the brain or certain
357. 55:58parts of the nervous system and you can do it with instant access with you know almost no latency so it's interesting we'll see
358. 56:06let's see you know is everyone going to go out and get one of those no but there's a lot of people that it could
359. 56:11make a massive difference for and then if you look at what Apple was doing with the sort of eye stuff
360. 56:20it's not going to necessarily be need to be invasive at some point you'll probably be able to put on a baseball
361. 56:25hat that's got some sort of wacky ass technology in it that effectively does what neurolink does without having to have surgery
362. 56:33and by the way if you haven't looked at neuralink saying what it does so basically they came up with this idea
363. 56:42you drill a hole in someone's skull and you can put electrodes into the brain right now these little microelectrodes
364. 56:47and I think there's 60 or 120 little wires on a bundle for each little thing and I think they put in three or four of them
365. 56:55but what they realized was you couldn't there was no way to actually install it without building a robot first so so they built a robot that
366. 57:09um in real time figure figure figures out where to position these these 60 or 120 electrodes so that they that they don't
367. 57:22um put them into any blood vessels so if you've got two blood vessels in your brain it it sort of does that in real
368. 57:28time and it it'll Slide the electrode in between the blood vessels so it says to minimize any sort of bleeding you know
369. 57:37in the brain it's just this is wild wild technology so anyway that was approved for human trials about three months ago so
370. 57:46it's possible there are people doing I haven't really paid attention to it um every time never gets old I don't I

378. 59:04Gladwell who um wrote a book called outliers lots of other books really brilliant guy and in the book outliers he talks about this idea of
379. 59:13to attain a level of expertise or Mastery at a given topic you you know effectively need 10 000 hours and and
380. 59:22you know if you kind of do the math if you spent like eight hours a week for you know six to or yeah eight hours a day for six days a week
381. 59:30it's about four years it might be three it might be five but it's a significant commitment and what hit me was
382. 59:43one of the reasons that it's really terrifying to think I want to try something new is that I think we all
383. 59:51know instinctively that to get good at something it's a major [ __ ] commitment right like you know I always wanted to be into
384. 59:58Neuroscience oh well then I would have to learn about biology and chemistry and this and that and do I go back to
385. 1:00:05college or do anything and then and then you say okay [ __ ] it I'm gonna do that and you take a certificate course and
386. 1:00:10then you get into college and you're like three years into this process and you realize I don't really like
387. 1:00:16Neuroscience but at this point you're [ __ ] three years in and you probably have student loans and you're right well with this AI [ __ ]
388. 1:00:25like like my my breakthrough with chat gbt was with without knowing python at all in 90 minutes I wrote a a full
389. 1:00:33python application in 90 minutes and it was pretty sophisticated it made API calls to open Ai and it was insane it was mind-blowing
390. 1:00:42never written a line of python in my life and I thought you know if I wanted to to write that same basic application
391. 1:00:48that I wrote it traditionally it'd probably take me about a week right so eight hours a day for five days that's 40 hours
392. 1:00:56I did it in two hours 90 minutes so it was 20 times faster to do that one little task so even if you cut that in half to 10 times faster
393. 1:01:09so if you can use AI to get good at something 10 times faster than that 10 000 hours drops to a thousand hours
394. 1:01:17which is like four months not four years and then you're like well wait a minute I could completely reinvent myself three times a year
395. 1:01:30with this AI stuff so I could either get really good at three things and do all three of them or I could say [ __ ] it I'm gonna try
396. 1:01:40neuroscience and then I'm gonna try um Advanced Bonsai gardening and then I'm gonna do uh uh 1970s macrame wall hanging art
397. 1:01:54like it doesn't [ __ ] matter because these tools are gonna allow us to navigate so much more quickly um so anyway that's that's something
398. 1:02:05that I've been thinking a lot about it I talked about it last night and kind of inspired me to make a video today so I

404. 1:03:02months ago signed on that letter that anyone doing generative AI should take a six month pause they shouldn't they
405. 1:03:09shouldn't there should be no more advancements in AI for six months seven days later he ordered 10 000 gpus
406. 1:03:18so the cynical side of me says oh he just signed up to get his competitors to chill out so he could catch up um anthropic
407. 1:03:33the company behind Claude that thing right there that that's a bunch of EX open AI people that their mission is
408. 1:03:45alignment like basically making sure that these tools are aligned with the goals of humans um and Sam Altman talks a lot about it so
409. 1:03:56those two have different approaches to it but they're both very keen on it Google's a little loosey-goosey which is
410. 1:04:02why Elon Musk says he started open AI um but now Elon Musk wants to open source this chat GPT took off and then
411. 1:04:12Mark Zuckerberg freaked out and said it's not about the metaverse it's about AI uh here have one for free
412. 1:04:20I think that was a little irresponsible but you know it's not an AGI model it's not super powerful but it's pretty
413. 1:04:27[ __ ] powerful and it's open source and it's out there so so we'll see we'll see um the good news about the is there a super

446. 1:10:01um and then it turned out just being a a shorted battery a dead battery my battery died um and so as I was driving back from the
447. 1:10:11auto parts store with the battery I was thinking I kind of remember from some time in my life that you have to hook up a battery
448. 1:10:21the battery terminals in a certain order or bad things can happen and so so I said to pie you know is there is there uh
449. 1:10:31you know what order should you connect the terminals of a battery for a car and it said oh I'm very glad you asked that
450. 1:10:38this is actually really important said you connect a positive terminal first because if you don't if you connect the
451. 1:10:45ground first and then you short out the the positive you can you know it can it can blow up your electrical system blow
452. 1:10:52up your battery or or literally cause an explosion and I'm like okay good and so I confirmed that with with the auto
453. 1:11:01parts store uh but it got it right so I wanted to make sure it wasn't hallucinating um but but yeah this idea that wherever you are
454. 1:11:11in your journey of trying to figure something out these tools are going to give you exactly what you need right then the
455. 1:11:18guidance you need right then and like just that that think about the amount of time that you you go back and forth if
456. 1:11:25you have a mentor or a teacher or you're taking a class you take the class on a Tuesday night you get around to your
457. 1:11:31homework on Saturday night you're totally [ __ ] confused you reach out to some friends on Sunday they're not

517. 1:21:42The World Wide Web artist Consortium and the reason I started that group is I thought there's got to be someone who
518. 1:21:49knows more about this than I do it was so early that nobody knew anything everyone was trying to figure it out and so even though
519. 1:21:59the internet had been around for decades the World Wide Web was different the internet up to that point was
520. 1:22:08research scientists and Librarians and PhD students and and Uber Ultra Geeks and it was all command line and you had
521. 1:22:18to log in and command line and do this and that and as remarkable as it was you can kind of see what it was it was a lot
522. 1:22:27and then Tim berners-lee says what if this was the interface click click click I know I'll make it so you can underline a word
523. 1:22:42and when someone clicks on it it takes you to another document that also has links in it that you can click on
524. 1:22:50and it was that simple thing that shifted everything and that's where we are with this [ __ ] right now
525. 1:22:58machine learning and ai's been around for decades like like it's it's in all of the software that we already use
526. 1:23:06right it's in our cars it's in you know Siri and Alexa and it's when you type in Google and it finishes your sentence it
527. 1:23:13for you this is all AI it's all been there what's different is November 30th 2022 last November chat gbt launches
528. 1:23:25which is the equivalent of the world wide web for the internet back then where we just have a simple Google search box and you ask it [ __ ]
529. 1:23:37anything and these things know everything but there are no experts right now nobody knows what to do so if you're if you're
530. 1:23:48figuring out zapier and you're starting to figure out oh [ __ ] I can send I can take input from a Google form or input
531. 1:23:55from a slack Channel and I can incorporate that into a prompt and I can send that to chat GPT and I can generate
532. 1:24:01an image or I can generate a piece of social media content or I can I do whatever and then I can post that back
533. 1:24:07to a slack Channel holy [ __ ] yes there are people that probably know zappy are better than you might know
534. 1:24:15prompting better than you but you learning how to do that and how to start thinking critically about the kinds of problems
535. 1:24:24you're trying to solve [ __ ] invaluable don't have someone hand it to you don't have someone hand it to you learn yeah

548. 1:26:11gonna go play with machine learning and I go in and then I'd realize no no tensorflow is easy to use if you've got a PhD from Stamford
549. 1:26:22you're a master technologist and and you know you've done data analysis for a decade or two then it's then it's [ __ ] simple
550. 1:26:33but if you have a degree in acting and you're an entrepreneur and you just want to figure out how to [ __ ] to use AI in
551. 1:26:38your business it was too early that stuff's that stuff is a level two under the hood chatgpt is the first thing that says hey
552. 1:26:48the rest of you you want to see something cool and that's why there's no experts right now because the rest of us we have no clue whatsoever
553. 1:27:02what to do how to do how it's going to impact us how it's going to impact jobs but for those of us that are curious and exploring and active
554. 1:27:13will start to figure it out and we will actually start to bend it in a positive direction so so I think that's why I think it's
555. 1:27:23important to talk about it this [ __ ] while it's got the potential to do bad [ __ ] the more you use it the more you
556. 1:27:31realize this isn't some scary fictitious [ __ ] robot that's just out there aimlessly you know killing humans this
557. 1:27:40is a tool that we as humans get to direct to amplify what we want to do these are Humanity amplifiers and Humanity mirrors
558. 1:27:54they know all of our words because we put all of our words in them and so when you ask it a question it's

574. 1:30:29um that it's helping companies understand what the companies have that like I think that's going to be the biggest shift for companies um
575. 1:30:39so so open AI just announced um chat GPT Enterprise so it's now secure and private and they're not training on your data all that sort of
576. 1:30:49[ __ ] um you have to be spending ten thousand dollars a month to get the real GPT Enterprise They are going to be
577. 1:30:58announcing a self-service version for the rest of us us plebes um but what they also announced is is coming shortly on the heels of GPT
578. 1:31:08Enterprise is going to be the ability they're going to make it very easy for companies to train on their own data
579. 1:31:14the minute you can take all of your company data and basically gptize it you're going to be able to free data that's been locked in digital
580. 1:31:25lockers unseen for decades and I think just some remarkable Innovation is going to come when people are able to sort of pull out the
581. 1:31:34collective knowledge that's been dumped into these digital warehouses for for years and years and years and say didn't we once do a project
582. 1:31:45where we tried to combine this approach with that approach yep you did and here were here's the PowerPoint documents that were created
583. 1:31:55and here's the word documents and here's a summarization of it well how would I you know take that idea and incorporate
584. 1:32:04it with this new strategy that we've got oh you might do it like this and by the way here's pieces of that and right it's
585. 1:32:11gonna be remarkable now it's gonna take a while for for uh companies to get their [ __ ] together and
586. 1:32:18and you know figure out which data they want to put in there and what are the permissions and all that sort of happy

637. 1:40:04please open this archive and tell me what data is in here and what might be interesting about it so you see it sort of does a thing it
638. 1:40:20like pops open if you've ever used plug-ins it looks like kind of like a plug-on plug plugin and then it says
639. 1:40:27this archive contains two files Chipotle stores CSV and United US states dot Json and then if I go open this little box what you
640. 1:40:38actually notice is that this is python and you're like well where'd that python come from it wrote it so what Advanced
641. 1:40:48Data analysis does when you launch the chat it spins up a virtual machine and it's got a pipe it's got a series of
642. 1:40:56python libraries that it's got access to and when you upload your data to it it's basically unpacking all this data in
643. 1:41:04this temporary virtual machine up in the sky and it's it's prompting itself to write python programs and execute
644. 1:41:15them based on the data so that's what's actually going on here it's it's [ __ ] mind-blowing so so it says here's what's
645. 1:41:22in there would you like me to delve into these files further and explore their content so just say yes
646. 1:41:37all right so the first thing it did let's pop that open it looked at the CSV file so the data and the second thing it did
647. 1:41:53I assume it looked at the Json file yeah okay so so it looked at so it wrote code to to unpack what was in the CSV file
648. 1:42:01grab grab the first few rows so could understand it and then it figured out what was in the Json file and then it says data summary
649. 1:42:10the CSV the data has columns for State location address latitude and longitude of the Chipotle stores example data for instance there's a
650. 1:42:21Chipotle store in Auburn Alabama with specific Latin longitudinal coordinates the United States dot Json it contains 50 features likely
651. 1:42:33corresponding to the 50 states possible interest you could use Chipotle data to analyze the distribution of Chipotle stores
652. 1:42:44across different states or regions the Geo Json file could be used to create geographical visualizations
653. 1:42:53perhaps even in conjunction with the US Chipotle stores to show the locations on the US map um um yes please visualize the
654. 1:43:09data you find most compelling Force let's see four
655. 1:43:23someone studying the history of the restaurant chain we'll see what it does here
656. 1:43:38so Advanced Data analysis this is full on like basically you have a full-on data analyst working for you that you
657. 1:43:47basically just ask it [ __ ] and it goes off and does it for you what's remarkable if you use this for a bit is
658. 1:43:52it'll try to do something and if it's got like if it used the wrong ISO uh thing oh look what it did here what did it do
659. 1:44:03it made a map there's a little teeny tiny map of the United States Chipotle stores across the US you got Alaska up
660. 1:44:10there big giant Alaska with a few and then you got a little teeny tiny map here can we make it bigger that's really funny it made it so tiny
661. 1:44:28so it drew the state boundaries because it had the Json data of the state shapes observation there's a high concentration
662. 1:44:35of Chipotle stores in the eastern and western parts of the United States the sparse areas are the central U.S the
663. 1:44:42coastal preference many stores seem to be located near the coast historical context for someone studying the history
664. 1:44:48of the restaurant chain this map offers insights and how Chipotle has expanded so let me ask um does the data contain any date information
665. 1:45:01so that we can know how they progressed from when they started until now doesn't contain any data information so
666. 1:45:16there's no ways to do no ways to do it so anyway so that's that's code interpreter or Advanced Data analysis in chat gbt you have to um

692. 1:49:15get into Tech right the the large language models dang it the large language models like chat GPT and Claude and Bard and and the image
693. 1:49:26generation tools like mid-journey and Adobe Firefly and things like that there you're doing incredibly
694. 1:49:33sophisticated technical things using the English language or in togasa's case French can be any language it doesn't
695. 1:49:41matter you're using your native language to program so these things are quite remarkable so you can you can do incredibly technical
696. 1:49:52things without getting into Tech right getting into Tech kind of implies you're going to learn programming and you're
697. 1:49:57going to learn I.T and you're going to learn the technical components it doesn't hurt to know those but understand that we're moving to a
698. 1:50:05future very very quickly where tactical coding isn't going to be as required as it is right now now understanding how to code and to
699. 1:50:17think logically and understanding how that [ __ ] works that's going to be a requirement for you know decades to come
700. 1:50:28but the actual tactical execution of coding is likely going to be done by by these tools and then so what does that mean what's
